- 0:02Hello, everyone, and welcome to the Eye Opener Society. You have your hosts.
- 0:07Me, Hannah. And me, Gary. We are your hosts of the Eye Opener Society,
- 0:13and we want to welcome you back.
- 0:14And I just wanted to say, one, I'm so extremely excited that everybody's tuning in and listening.
- 0:22It's the best thing you can do for us, especially when it comes to supporting us.
- 0:27Obviously you could send us a million dollars tomorrow we're
- 0:30not going to say no to it however um just
- 0:34listening is just as good for us so i definitely uh want to say a big thank
- 0:39you while we have the audience you that just hit the play button thank you so
- 0:44very much um again we're doing um a quick little series of our shorter talks
- 0:48um just basically without having the.
- 0:53Like a basic topic.
- 0:54We're just sitting here as Hannah and Gary just talking to you in more of a conversational style.
- 1:00And the whole reason for that, again, is because we're trying to cram a lot
- 1:04of recordings in all at once for the month of August because Hannah is going
- 1:08to be going on vacation soon.
- 1:10And we just wanted to get the August show out there to you, or at least the August shows.
- 1:16So we thank you again for listening. And we thank you again for tuning in.
- 1:20And with this, our whole theme of positivity for the month, or basically for
- 1:26the rest of the show, we're always trying to promote some positivity,
- 1:29consciousness, awareness,
- 1:32being ourselves, and why we should be happy to be ourselves.
- 1:37And I think that's what I wanted to bring up to you, Hannah.
- 1:39I just wanted people to understand that. that as a human, we don't need to seek
- 1:45acceptance from others all the time.
- 1:48I think we need to seek acceptance from within and then start to enjoy our own
- 1:55being, our own well-being, and our own.
- 1:58To become a better human, we need to understand ourselves more rather than worrying
- 2:05about what everybody else thinks about you.
- 2:09What do you think about that?
- 2:13For me, I think, this is a hard one.
- 2:18So for me, I think, unfortunately, I'm always going to be that type of person
- 2:24that somewhat like seeks acceptance from other people.
- 2:32I just think it's like a trauma response from everything that I've been through
- 2:35in my life. However, I think I've come a long way to the point where,
- 2:43yes, I still look for that acceptance.
- 2:45But then in the back, you know, in some scenarios, I'm just like it is what it is. I am who I am.
- 2:53Fuck you. You know, it just honestly just depends. You know,
- 2:57it just depends on the person, the situation.
- 3:00I guess how I'm feeling that day. I'm a very act with emotions type of person.
- 3:06Well, this is where we need to focus and control what we feel.
- 3:12And we need to focus on ourselves because too many times we are,
- 3:18we're too worried about the opinions of others.
- 3:20And let me put it to you this way. Like, we never really accept negative comments,
- 3:27especially like on our social media pages and stuff like that.
- 3:30And the only reason is not because I can't take it. I got a thick enough skin.
- 3:34But the problem is I don't want to spread that negativity because that negativity
- 3:38really is like a cancer and it will spread around and other people will pick up on that.
- 3:44I always said there's certain things, art and music, things like that. It's subjective.
- 3:53Some people are going to like it. Other people are not going to like it.
- 3:56So why would you want to sit there other than to hear your own self-speaking
- 4:00and say how much you hate something? thing.
- 4:03Oh, yeah. You know, and this is where it comes down to where if we focus on
- 4:08ourselves and ourselves only and not worry about what everybody else thinks
- 4:12or whatever, but he thinks about us or what we want to say, we need to keep things kind of neutral.
- 4:18Yeah. I don't like, you know, this musical artist.
- 4:23It's not my taste of music. I don't think the recording was right.
- 4:27You know, I don't like their sound. Things like that, I think,
- 4:31is much more matured in saying, oh, this is the worst music in the world.
- 4:35I can't stand it and nobody else should like it.
- 4:37This is where we need to focus on ourselves and say, well, listen,
- 4:43me as a human, I accept myself. I'm proud of myself.
- 4:48And I don't need to tell the whole world about all of my opinions.
- 5:02Yeah, music is a really big thing for me. Yeah.
- 5:07Whether it's necessarily like it doesn't necessarily have to be a song that is has meaning.
- 5:14You know what I mean? I mean, every song has meaning. But, you know,
- 5:16I could be listening to like a rap song or I could be listening to like a heavy metal song.
- 5:20I could be listening to something that literally destroys my heart or,
- 5:25you know, makes me happy.
- 5:26But in the end, music like touches my soul no other way that anything else in
- 5:32my life or existence ever has.
- 5:34Um so I take music very personally and
- 5:37um I it's actually a really
- 5:40big pet peeve of mine um when it comes to
- 5:43people if I have people who
- 5:46just like sit there and just like like you said like bash on this bash on that
- 5:50I'm just like can you just let me vibe to my song because this is so important
- 5:53to my soul right now you know it doesn't the song doesn't even have to have
- 5:57meaning but the way that like let's say like a rap song like has a beat and
- 6:01the beat makes my body feel Like,
- 6:03it's just something that is so deep and personal to me that like like what you said,
- 6:11it's just like if you don't have it, just keep like, you know, keep to yourself,
- 6:15you know, don't spread your negativity or, you know, your opinion when it's
- 6:20not necessarily needed.
- 6:22You know, I can see someone jamming out to a song that I can absolutely despise
- 6:27and I will just either, you know, like walk away if I can, you know,
- 6:30put my headphones on or something and just not say anything because I know in
- 6:33that moment that person needed that song.
- 6:36They needed that feeling. You know, if people feel the way I do when I listen
- 6:40to music, then who am I to shut down and spread like a negative vibe to them
- 6:45because I don't like what they're listening to.
- 6:47And it goes beyond music, you know? It does. And music, like I said,
- 6:51it's just one example because it's so subjective.
- 6:54But I could look at a piece of artwork and I could feel one way another person
- 6:58next to me could stare at that same exact piece of artwork and feel something completely different.
- 7:04There's differences on how music and art.
- 7:09Actually take hold of another person and enable them to see something different.
- 7:15So yeah, us sitting there and expressing like, if my opinion was asked,
- 7:20I can tell you, well, this piece of artwork makes me feel this way.
- 7:23This musical artist I either like or don't like, and here are the reasons or
- 7:27at least what I'm feeling.
- 7:29But to force my opinion onto somebody else or to say,
- 7:34you have to feel this way, or you're stupid for listening to this,
- 7:37you know this cheapens humanity so
- 7:41much and this is where we need to focus we
- 7:44need to wake up and become adult like we're all acting like
- 7:47children and you know it gets to the point where you don't want to talk to anybody
- 7:52anymore you don't want to ask anybody's opinion because the opinion is turns
- 7:57to hatred right away and being a conscious human beings being someone who's trying to learn
- 8:05more about the higher self i like to
- 8:08use art and music and everything else as
- 8:11a way to tune in with people and
- 8:15if a person says this is my favorite song it could tell a lot about that person
- 8:19yeah and the same thing with art and how they feel about a certain piece of
- 8:23artwork or whatever or sounds or just anything it's very it's very deep into
- 8:31the psyche when it comes to music music, believe it or not.
- 8:33It is. And just a little side note, we're going to have a discussion about this,
- 8:37hopefully soon within the next month.
- 8:40We're going to have a guest on our show, Monica Susanna, and she's with TIK Radio.
- 8:46And we are going to sit and actually talk about mental health and music,
- 8:51because I think the two go hand in hand.
- 8:54They do. And we're looking forward to that. I was going to say,
- 8:55I don't want to touch on it too much here, like now, because I want to save it for the podcast.
- 8:59But I will add, and I will probably end up mentioning And again,
- 9:03it's just like, I always have said that you can tell a lot about what someone
- 9:08is currently going through by the song that they have on repeat.
- 9:12Yeah, you absolutely can. You're so right. And yeah, we will definitely bring that up.
- 9:18It does. It tunes in because an artist can write a song and that song can have
- 9:24a meaning to that artist.
- 9:26But somebody else can listen to it and it'll have a completely different meaning
- 9:30because that person is taking those words, those lyrics and relating it to something
- 9:35in their life and not the artist's life.
- 9:38So it does, it becomes so subjective and it's, that's what makes it art. And humans are art.
- 9:45Every one of us are different. Every single one of us. The way they dress,
- 9:48the way you, you know, do your makeup, the way you do your nails,
- 9:52you know, the way you do your hair, like, everyone is art.
- 9:56Like, life is art. And-
- 9:59It's just, like, such a beautiful thing that I think people don't sit back and,
- 10:03like, reflect on more in life.
- 10:07And I think we do to an unhealthy portion because, like you say,
- 10:10the way you wear your hair, the way you wear your makeup.
- 10:13But how about just your body that you were given at birth?
- 10:15Yeah, yeah. Why can't we take hold of that, embrace it, and say,
- 10:20this is what was given to me and it is perfect? Yeah.
- 10:24Rather than taking what everybody else is thinking and being told,
- 10:29well, you have to be fatter, you have to be skinnier, you have to be...
- 10:32Take what you have and enjoy it and embrace it and understand that that is you as a whole. Yeah.
- 10:42If there's things health-wise, you can make changes later based on that,
- 10:47but it shouldn't be because of shame.
- 10:49You should not be shameful. what's in or what's the right image
- 10:52there is no right image i ever since i can remember have
- 10:55always been that kid
- 10:58that would make the people
- 11:01that you know look physically different or something like that feel noticed
- 11:06because it's not right it's not right to judge somebody by if you know their
- 11:11shoe size or their waist size or you know if they're bigger or lighter um i
- 11:17don't like using the word fat.
- 11:19I think it's really just, it's just horrible.
- 11:22I just, I feel like everyone is beautiful in their own way.
- 11:26And like you said, if they have something health going on, who are you to sit
- 11:30there and call them fat or obese or anything like that? Because you don't know
- 11:35what's going on in their body.
- 11:37They could have something like a condition or something like that.
- 11:40I know I've touched on this so many times, but it's just like.
- 11:44Don't say anything if you don't have anything nice to say you know
- 11:47you have no idea what someone's going through everyone is beautiful in
- 11:50their own way and i don't think i've ever sat
- 11:53there and just you know spit
- 11:57out just horrible slander about somebody because i just
- 12:00like i said it just goes back to you know that's your
- 12:03body and that's your image that you were born with you know the universe god
- 12:08whoever whatever gave you and embrace that enjoy yourself stop trying to get
- 12:13with the trends and worry about what other people are doing or other people's
- 12:19opinions. Just be who you are.
- 12:21Right. And embrace who you are. That's the main thing.
- 12:26I don't like seeing people transforming themselves into something that they're
- 12:30not for whatever the reason.
- 12:34Take what you have and enjoy Enjoy what you have.
- 12:37That is where you're empowered because you are who you are.
- 12:43You're different from everybody else. You are a fingerprint. You're unique.
- 12:48And that's what we need to understand. And I really think, too,
- 12:54even in the medical field now, I've had the same thing, body shaming from doctors
- 12:59now. Oh, my God. It's disgusting.
- 13:01You know, with diabetes, I've walked into, you know—.
- 13:06Clinic once and I was in full winter gear and they weighed me like that.
- 13:12So of course, I put on an extra 12 pounds, but literally I weigh like 160 pounds soaking wet.
- 13:19As soon as I walk in, the very first words out of the doctor's mouth is,
- 13:22first of all, you're obese.
- 13:23I'm like, you got to be kidding me, man. Obese.
- 13:26Yeah. And you're ugly, doc. Thanks. But this is where the whole hatred then
- 13:32comes, you know, and now you're yelling back and forth.
- 13:35It's like, who is a doctor to say you're obese right off the bat?
- 13:39You know, listen, you have health problems.
- 13:41This is where I'm concerned about. Your weight should be down here or something
- 13:45like that. We can help you get to it.
- 13:46It's more professional, but they're really being taught nowadays to go according to these charts.
- 13:52If you are five foot seven, you must weigh this amount. Yeah.
- 13:56It doesn't work that way.
- 13:57It doesn't. You know, you were born a certain way and that's what you have.
- 14:03We could maybe help things, but you can't sit there and shame and make you feel horrible.
- 14:10I mean, I didn't feel horrible because it's to call me obese.
- 14:15It's hilarious. It's hilarious. That's like calling you obese.
- 14:17It just doesn't fit. It doesn't fit at all.
- 14:21But we have to learn that we got to accept who we are and we can't have other
- 14:27people telling us the way we should be.
- 14:31Yeah. I think it's important to just believe in yourself and,
- 14:35you know, establish your values. use.
- 14:37And it's really hard. And I'm still honestly learning how to do this.
- 14:42But stop worrying about how other people feel about you and how people see you.
- 14:49You know, it's about how you see yourself. It's about how you feel about yourself.
- 14:54And it's hard because, you know, some people, like I said, I'm guilty of it.
- 14:58You want validation from people. You want love from people. But.
- 15:04That love can be very gaslighting and it can have hidden agendas.
- 15:10So it's just really important to stay true to yourself and true to your image
- 15:14and don't let anything, you know, alter that.
- 15:18And how are you going to love anybody if you're not able to love yourself?
- 15:22You have to start by loving yourself and that's the hardest thing to do. Yeah, definitely.
- 15:27You know, it's not easy. You know, there are people I know that look in the
- 15:32mirror and hate what they see.
- 15:34And I know that's a mental problem. And, you know, I think we're here to say,
- 15:40listen, you're not seen that way.
- 15:43Anybody that's saying the ugly things, it's a reflection of themselves.
- 15:49You know, they're so self-conscious about themselves that they're projecting onto others.
- 15:54And is that right? No, obviously it's not right.
- 15:58We, this is how we function as humans, is always wrong. We always do the wrong thing.
- 16:04Yeah. So if you are, if you are that person that's looking in the mirror,
- 16:08hear this voice in the back of your head. You are beautiful.
- 16:13Listen to that voice and hear it. Just remember from this moment on,
- 16:17remember the words, you are beautiful.
- 16:20Next time you go and look at yourself in the mirror, that's what I want you
- 16:25to hear. Yeah. You are beautiful. You matter.
- 16:28Someone is happy that you're here. Yeah.
- 16:32You may not hear that all the time. When you're outside and your perception
- 16:38of things, you're probably always hearing the ugly things, even if they're not spoken.
- 16:43Because I know there are people that will sit there and think,
- 16:47oh, I think this person is thinking this.
- 16:51It's very difficult when you have these problems. It really It really is.
- 16:54But that's why I just want you to remember, you are beautiful.
- 16:58Just remember that. You are beautiful. And if that's the only thing that you
- 17:01put in your head is you are beautiful, that's all you are going to hear.
- 17:06When you look in the mirror. Yeah.
- 17:08Anywhere. But anywhere, anyplace, anytime. Anytime you're not feeling right.
- 17:12If the only thought in your head is you are beautiful.
- 17:17That will eventually start to take over and you might start to feel better about
- 17:21yourself. We're hoping it does.
- 17:22Yeah. Because I think everybody needs to start breaking out of this horrible, miserable,
- 17:29low level, low energy and start looking into the higher stuff,
- 17:34the higher energies, the 5D world where we're all beautiful and nobody says
- 17:38anything bad about each other.
- 17:39I think it's really important, you know, it's slightly off topic,
- 17:42but somewhat in topic here is that, you know, instead of keeping necessarily
- 17:47like a happy thought to yourself about someone like today,
- 17:53for example, I had to go get my license picture taken and there was a worker
- 17:58there and he was knitting or crocheting, you know, a scarf and or whatever,
- 18:05a blanket. I think it was. It was a blanket. Yeah.
- 18:07And, you know, I could have just sat there and not said anything.
- 18:10But, you know, I was fascinated. You know, I was fascinated by the art that he was making.
- 18:15And I just was like, wow.
- 18:17He's like, what? And I was like, I'm just watching you. Like, that's amazing.
- 18:22Like, you're doing such a wonderful job. And when I tell you,
- 18:25when I left, I turned back and I saw the smile because I feel like he got the
- 18:33energy that I was proud of him.
- 18:34You know, it's just something that I took to heart because I know what it's
- 18:40like to be in that seat doing something that you don't think that anyone is noticing you doing.
- 18:46And then you get that small, just simple compliment and it literally just reforms
- 18:51your, like your mental for the rest of the day and it's just like you're on this some type of high.
- 18:56Not that it matters what other people say, but it's just like,
- 19:02If you have a thought that you know that is going to, you know,
- 19:06maybe turn around someone's day, say it.
- 19:10We get so scared to say the positive stuff. Oh, my God, not me.
- 19:16I always say it all the time. I'm like, I wish there were more people who are awkward like me.
- 19:23Because it's not meant to be awkward, but I just make it awkward.
- 19:27That's my personality. personality but I'm always going to be that person that
- 19:30I guess it's because of everything that I
- 19:33went through like how many times that I wish someone
- 19:36would have just you know told me when I felt like I needed it like that I was
- 19:42doing a good job or like they're proud of me or you know hey I like your shirt
- 19:46today hey your hair looks good did you do it's just like the small things you
- 19:50know that you're being noticed and it's not about necessarily the validation from other people,
- 19:55but it's just our world is filled with ugly right now.
- 19:59And even something small as you like someone's shirt can take it a long way.
- 20:04Yeah. The point I wanted to make was the fact that hatred is so easy to spread.
- 20:13It's the end thing. You feel validated because you spoke your mind and you said
- 20:19something ugly and you're really good and you're going to go around aggravated
- 20:23for the rest of the day now. It's easy to do that.
- 20:26It takes a bigger person to give the compliment, to say something nice,
- 20:31or to suppress those negative comments and say something nice.
- 20:38We can be gods, we can be goddesses based upon the way we act in society.
- 20:45And more people need to understand that. You guys out there listening to Hannah
- 20:51and I, Why, think about this.
- 20:54Spread this. Spread love. Stop spreading hate.
- 20:59I don't care how small of a compliment it is. Try it.
- 21:03Every time a negative thought comes
- 21:05across your head, replace it with a positive, no matter how hard it is.
- 21:10And it'll make you a much bigger person than that ugly side that would have came out before.
- 21:17We all need to do that. We all need to question the higher self.
- 21:22We need to question. And I wanted to bring this up in a topic,
- 21:27but we could wrap it up very quickly with this.
- 21:30We question, and I'm the first to say question everything.
- 21:34There's nothing wrong with questioning, but however, we need to understand the
- 21:37questions that we're asking. kink.
- 21:40We sit sometimes and ask the most simplest question, oh, how do I meditate?
- 21:45The thing is, there's no answers to these simple questions.
- 21:50There's guidance, there's instructions on how to do it and all that.
- 21:54When we sit down and we actually do what it is we're setting out to do,
- 22:00the questions need to become higher and we don't need to reach out to other people with, it.
- 22:04Oh, how do I do this? What's next?
- 22:06Start questioning ourselves. Yes.
- 22:10Question, why am I doing this? How can I do this better?
- 22:14How am I going to learn to do this better? What works for me?
- 22:18What works for me? I like that, Hannah. Thank you.
- 22:21These are the questions that are going to help us become better,
- 22:26to help our mental strength, to open up the doors at 5D where we all want to be,
- 22:33rather than in this low-level, low-energy 3D world where we just ask the simple
- 22:37questions and look for a simple answer to get us into a very simple next step.
- 22:44If you want to make that big leap, then you need to ask the questions and ask
- 22:50yourself the questions, make them higher questions.
- 22:54I always said I like to be a guide. I don't like to answer questions.
- 22:57I just want to guide you. You ask the question to yourself.
- 23:02I could give you some pointers, some direction, guide you.
- 23:06That's what it should be like. I think we all need to be mentors to each other,
- 23:10to help each other think on a higher level rather than answering the smaller
- 23:17questions that really never help you learn.
- 23:22And that's what I wanted to talk about. And I think I got that all in.
- 23:27And it's very simple. Rather than having an entire show on it,
- 23:31question yourself, ask the questions, make them powerful questions.
- 23:36What is going to matter to you? Because you, the individual,
- 23:40You are that unique fingerprint.
- 23:44And if you ask a question, the answer may only apply to somebody else and not
- 23:51to you or may apply to a whole group of people.
- 23:54Make it specific to yourself. And that's why asking yourself these questions
- 23:59and answering them yourself makes you a much higher person.
- 24:03Yeah. And to add to that, I think it's important for people to realize and...
- 24:11Is that you are your unique being. There is no one that's going to ever be like you.
- 24:19So people should stop trying to be like others.
- 24:24You know, it's nice to have an admirer, you know, or someone that you admire,
- 24:29an idol, there's the word.
- 24:32But I think it's important to remember is that you are your own unique being.
- 24:36And there is nothing more beautiful than being yourself.
- 24:40You know, there's nothing wrong with, oh, I really like how this person did
- 24:44their hair. I might try that out. There's nothing wrong with that. That's creativity.
- 24:48But stay true to yourself. Don't go liking a band just because the person you
- 24:54idolize likes a band or, you know, they dress like this and they hate this person
- 24:59because so you're going to.
- 25:01Don't be like that. Be yourself because you're so unique and it's so important
- 25:06to just be your own person.
- 25:09I like that. And I want to end on that note, because you said exactly what the show is about.
- 25:15Be yourself, be unique, be happy about yourself. And always remember, I am beautiful.
- 25:21Remember that all the time in the back of your head and keep it there.
- 25:24And Hannah and I, we will, you know, constantly reinforce that for you.
- 25:29We appreciate everybody tuning in again. we kind
- 25:33of like this conversational style but we will be getting back September into
- 25:37our regular format so don't worry about it and we're going to have guests and
- 25:41all but we just wanted to set this whole month of August for more positivity
- 25:45and spread a lot of that and that's going to continue on for as long as this
- 25:49show is on the air so everybody take care.
