  day. We thank you for helping us to

  know you. Lord.

  We thank you for your Holy scriptures.
• 0:21
  We thank you that you have chosen us, Lord, and you have
• 0:24
  drawn us to yourself. Thank you God for all the
• 0:28
  scriptures, Lord. Thank you for giving us the
• 0:31
  ability to reason God to come and to read, Lord, and to absorb
• 0:36
  and to be washed by the Word today.
• 0:39
  God, we honor your Son, We honor you, Father, with our lives.
• 0:44
  Help us, God, to be living sacrifices for you.
• 0:48
  Lord Jesus, we thank you God for salvation.
• 0:52
  We thank you for the promise of eternity.
• 0:54
  We thank you God for the cross and Calvary.
• 0:58
  God, we thank you that you came and took on our sins.
• 1:01
  We thank you, God, that we can be one with you.
• 1:04
  We thank you for forgiveness of sin.
• 1:07
  We thank you, God, for healing our bodies, Lord.
• 1:11
  We thank you for families, thank you for marriage.
• 1:14
  Thank you God for law enforcement, military.
• 1:17
  Thank you God for righteous judges.
• 1:20
  Thank you God, that you have held back the man of
• 1:25
  lawlessness, Lord, and we just pray, Lord, that we will be your
• 1:30
  hands and feet and shine bright in this Dark World.
• 1:34
  God, we thank you that you have given us our marching orders and
• 1:39
  that we know that we know that we know that where you are we
• 1:43
  will be. Thank you for the assurance of
• 1:46
  salvation. Thank you for all the many
• 1:48
  things that you do for us each and every day.
• 1:50
  Heal us, God, heal our broken bodies.
• 1:53
  Heal our infirmities. God, take out the dross and the
• 1:57
  impurities and consecrate us. God sanctify us.
• 2:01
  Lord, we thank you for justification.
• 2:05
  We thank you, God, that we are yours and you are ours, and that
• 2:10
  we will see you rightly and correctly, high and lifted up
• 2:16
  and exalted over every single entity, every single person,
• 2:23
  every single official, every single thing that tries to come
• 2:29
  and rob you of your glory. God, you are high and lifted up
• 2:33
  above it all. Lord, you are the only one who
• 2:37
  is worth the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of
• 2:42
  Israel. We pray for the peace of
• 2:44
  Jerusalem today. Lord, bring many sons and
• 2:48
  daughters into the fold. We love you and it's in your
• 2:52
  holy and precious name that I pray.
• 2:54
  Amen. Well, let's start in verse one
• 2:59
  beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits,
• 3:04
  whether they are of God because many false prophets are gone out
• 3:08
  into the world. So here we need to understand
• 3:11
  that not every single supernatural spiritual thing
• 3:16
  that happens is of of God. You need to understand that the
• 3:20
  darkness has very limited power in the sense of the magicians
• 3:27
  during Pharaoh's time being able to turn their Staffs into snakes
• 3:32
  as the witch and or that was able to bring Samuel up from the
• 3:37
  dead. There is very limited power
• 3:40
  within the darkness. You see it with Bar Jesus.
• 3:44
  You see it with Alimus the sorcerer.
• 3:49
  You see that there is limited power with the little girl who
• 3:53
  was able to foretell things for her masters in the book of Acts
• 3:59
  that Paul rebuked. You see it in the sense that
• 4:02
  there is limited power in Legion whenever he was eat up with the
• 4:07
  demons before they were cast into the swine.
• 4:12
  You see that there is limited power within the realm of fallen
• 4:18
  angels and darkness and the demonic.
• 4:21
  And so here John wants us as believers to be on guard and not
• 4:28
  to just fall for every miracle, not to just fall for every
• 4:33
  supernatural event as if it's from God.
• 4:37
  And this is a way that we can tell if it is from God or from
• 4:42
  the spirit of the Antichrist. He's going to go into this
• 4:45
  discourse to keep us on guard. Verse 2 Hereby know you, the
• 4:52
  Spirit of God. Every spirit that confesses that
• 4:56
  Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God.
• 5:01
  So here during John's time there were many who thought that Jesus
• 5:07
  was just some supernatural spirit that came and they did
• 5:11
  not acknowledge him in the flesh.
• 5:14
  And now we are dealing with the opposite in our day and our
• 5:17
  hour. There are many who acknowledge
• 5:19
  Jesus came in the flesh, but they don't believe in His
• 5:22
  divinity. They don't believe that he is
• 5:25
  God and that he was just a guru. A teacher, he was just someone
• 5:33
  who had a lot of nice things to say or he had the spirit of
• 5:37
  Christ on him, and this is all blasphemous towards Jesus
• 5:43
  Christ, who is God. Verse 3 and every spirit that
• 5:48
  confesses not that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of
• 5:52
  God and this is that spirit of Antichrist where of you have
• 5:58
  heard that it should come and even now already is in the
• 6:02
  world. The spirit of the Antichrist has
• 6:05
  already gone out into the world and anybody who is involved in
• 6:09
  all of this occult, the satanic worship, all of the demonic.
• 6:13
  These are the people who are engaging in the of the
• 6:17
  Antichrist and this is a replacement Christ and they are
• 6:24
  upholding the spiritual things of the New age and all of the
• 6:31
  witchcraft and all of the garbage in a higher respect then
• 6:37
  the things of God. And it is the spirit of
• 6:40
  Antichrist that is leading many people into these blasphemous
• 6:47
  relationships with the demonic and they are actually engaging
• 6:52
  in it knowingly and it is despicable friends, it is
• 6:56
  repulsive in the nostrils of a holy God.
• 6:59
  When we turn our backs on Yahweh and choose the lesser, we choose
• 7:04
  the evil in this world world and we're hostile towards a loving
• 7:08
  God. And many people have already
• 7:10
  made a love decision against God and for the evil.
• 7:15
  They delight themselves in the evil, which is why God sends the
• 7:19
  powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie.
• 7:26
  For you are of God little children, and have overcome
• 7:30
  them, because greater is He that is in you than he that is in the
• 7:36
  world. We do not need to be afraid as
• 7:40
  believers, as Christians, as those who have been indwelt with
• 7:45
  the Holy Spirit. We do not need to be afraid of
• 7:48
  demonic possession. Greater is he who is in you than
• 7:53
  he who is in the world. We speak the name of Jesus, and
• 7:58
  all the darkness flees at the name of Jesus Christ of
• 8:02
  Nazareth. All of the demonic trembles and
• 8:06
  shakes and cannot stand in the presence of that name.
• 8:11
  It is the name that is above all names.
• 8:13
  And if you go back and you study Jesus Christ's life as He walked
• 8:18
  this earth in His earthly ministry, the demons would
• 8:22
  acknowledge that He is the Son of God, and they would ask Him
• 8:25
  not to cast them into the utter darkness and chains of gloom
• 8:31
  before their time. They know that their time is
• 8:34
  short. They know that Jesus Christ has
• 8:36
  the power over hell and over death.
• 8:39
  And at a word, at just His name, the enemy flees.
• 8:44
  Bring that name upon your lips today and watch all of the
• 8:48
  darkness flee. Friends, that is the greatest
• 8:52
  tool that you have in your tool belt and you need to know that
• 8:56
  Jesus has overcome the world and we need not be afraid of any
• 9:01
  kind of demonic possession. Now.
• 9:04
  Christians can be influenced and Christians can be oppressed by
• 9:11
  the demonic if they open their windows up and allow those
• 9:15
  things to come into their lives. They open up themselves to all
• 9:20
  of this occult garbage, whether they are in the vicinity of it
• 9:24
  without being prayed up. And they go out and they're even
• 9:29
  those that are trying to minister within their own flesh
• 9:32
  and their own strength, even though they are indwelled with
• 9:35
  the Holy Spirit. The demonic can influence and
• 9:38
  oppress, but they could never possess a believer.
• 9:43
  Friends 5. They are of the world, therefore
• 9:48
  speak they of the world and the world hears them.
• 9:52
  So you can see that those who belong to the world, the world
• 9:57
  listens to it's a sounding board and they get their validation
• 10:03
  from their peers. And you have a lot of that in
• 10:06
  the highest levels of education. You have a lot of that friends
• 10:10
  within the business world, within the media and the social
• 10:15
  media. You see a lot of the sounding
• 10:17
  boards where they all are listening to each other and
• 10:21
  they're confirming their own ideas and their own sinful lust.
• 10:26
  And they get validated, which makes them feel more and more
• 10:32
  and more as if they are on the right side of things.
• 10:36
  And they have been tone deaf to the Bible, tone deaf to Yahweh,
• 10:42
  tone deaf to God Almighty and Jesus Christ.
• 10:46
  And they have made him a byword and a cuss word.
• 10:49
  They have made him to be just some kind of joke and it is no
• 10:54
  laughing matter. Friends, whenever you take your
• 10:57
  last breath, it'll be too late for you to put your faith in the
• 11:01
  Lord Jesus Christ. You only have this life and for
• 11:06
  today. Today is the day of salvation.
• 11:09
  Put your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ today and be saved. 6 We
• 11:15
  are of God. He that knows God hears us.
• 11:19
  He that is not of God hears us not hereby know we the spirit of
• 11:25
  truth and the spirit of error. So you can see here that we're
• 11:30
  able to test the spirits. We're able to gauge where
• 11:34
  somebody's at in their relationship with God.
• 11:37
  And you can tell by the abundance of the heart that
• 11:41
  flows out of the mouth, friends. And you'll be able to tell where
• 11:46
  somebody is at just by listening to them, and not by just giving
• 11:52
  in to the supernatural as if it's validated by God.
• 11:56
  We speak the truth in love, friends, and we know who belongs
• 12:00
  to him, because their words will reveal it. 7 Beloved, let us
• 12:07
  love one another, for love is of God, and everyone that loves is
• 12:11
  born of God and knows God. You cannot even know what love
• 12:15
  is apart from a relationship with God Almighty.
• 12:19
  He's going to tell us here in a minute that we love because He
• 12:23
  first loved us. And God is love, and what this
• 12:27
  world calls love is just lust friends, and it is this agape
• 12:34
  love that only comes, this self sacrificing love that is of God.
• 12:39
  And if you have that, then you can know that God is with you. 8
• 12:45
  He that loves not knows not God, for God is love. 9 In this was
• 12:51
  manifested the love of God towards us, because that God
• 12:56
  sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live
• 13:00
  through him. So God revealed how much he
• 13:05
  loved us through His Son Jesus Christ, who put on humanity.
• 13:14
  He actually came, and He is not just born of God, as some might
• 13:21
  think of this begotten as meaning, but this is God
• 13:24
  Almighty adding humanity to His deity, friends, and that is what
• 13:30
  it means to be begotten. And He is the only one who ever
• 13:35
  did that. And He sent Jesus Christ while
• 13:38
  we were yet still sinning, while we were still hostile towards
• 13:42
  Him, which is why we never turn our backs on people, even if
• 13:47
  they are the most despicable. We must believe that God has
• 13:52
  them here for a purpose and that he desires to save them.
• 13:57
  He desires for them to come over into the fall.
• 14:00
  We don't hold back the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ from
• 14:04
  anybody regardless of what they have done.
• 14:07
  But the Bible is also clear in Titus when he says warn A
• 14:10
  divisive person once and then warn them again and after that
• 14:14
  have nothing to do with them. For you can be sure that they
• 14:18
  are warped and self condemned. And that is our passage from God
• 14:24
  to let us know that we can walk away and shake the dust off of
• 14:30
  our feet. We need not continue to stay in
• 14:33
  hostile environments after we have told somebody about the
• 14:36
  Lord Jesus Christ twice. Sin here in His love.
• 14:46
  Not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to
• 14:51
  be the propitiation for our sins.
• 14:53
  So all the wrath of God was satisfied at the cross of Christ
• 14:57
  and He accepted Jesus Christ as the due payment for all of
• 15:05
  humanity sins. If we will come and come under
• 15:10
  the yoke of Jesus Christ, come under the blood of Jesus Christ,
• 15:14
  God will accept us and we can be at one with Father God because
• 15:20
  of what Jesus Christ did. And you can see that God
• 15:24
  initiated this entire relationship.
• 15:30
  It wasn't that we came and begged God to save us and begged
• 15:35
  God to accept us. It wasn't that we offered
• 15:38
  anything to God. It was God who initiated it,
• 15:42
  which proves the love that he has for us. 11 Beloved, if God
• 15:49
  so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
• 15:52
  It's pretty simple stuff there. How can you expect to be
• 15:57
  forgiven if you will not forgive others?
• 16:00
  And he's saying here, if God loves us this much, if he
• 16:05
  initiated this relationship, how much more should we love one
• 16:10
  another? It'll prove to each other that
• 16:15
  we love God by loving our brothers and sisters in Christ.
• 16:21
  12 No man has seen God at any time.
• 16:24
  If we love one another, God dwells in US and his love is
• 16:28
  perfected in us. So that is how God can reveal
• 16:32
  himself in the love that we have for each other and that will
• 16:36
  perfect us. As we are on the road to
• 16:40
  sanctification, as we are being made more and more and more like
• 16:45
  Jesus Christ each day, by and by, as each day goes by, we can
• 16:50
  become more like Jesus. How amazing is that?
• 16:54
  And then the whole world can see God through the love that we
• 16:58
  have for each other. 13 Hereby know we that we dwell in him and
• 17:05
  He in us, because he has given us his spirit, so the world can
• 17:10
  see that we have been with Him. Friends, if we will love each
• 17:14
  other in the way that Christ loves us, then it will be an
• 17:18
  attractiveness that the world sees, and they come towards a
• 17:23
  loving God because of what they see in us, in the communities
• 17:28
  that we have. 14 And we have seen and do testify that the
• 17:34
  Father sent the Son to be the Savior of the world.
• 17:39
  That's the only way we're ever going to make it.
• 17:40
  And we are eternally grateful that God is the one who decided
• 17:45
  to send Jesus Christ not only to just come and mirror and model
• 17:50
  what our lives should look like, but also to die on a criminal's
• 17:54
  cross to take away the sins of the world. 15 Whosoever shall
• 18:02
  confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwells in him, and he
• 18:07
  and God abide in him. And he and you confess that
• 18:12
  Jesus Christ is God. Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
• 18:16
  Jesus Christ is God the Son, God the Father, God the Son, and God
• 18:22
  the Holy Ghost. 3:00 and 1:00 And if you will acknowledge this
• 18:25
  Trinity, it proves that God is in you.
• 18:29
  Friends, if you look at all of these sects that have sprang up,
• 18:34
  all of these false religions that have sprang up, they deny
• 18:39
  the Trinity of Jesus Christ. And that is a great and
• 18:43
  wonderful indicator, friends, if you actually have him or not, if
• 18:49
  you believe in the Trinity. 17 Herein is our love made perfect,
• 18:59
  that we have boldness in the day of judgment, because as He is,
• 19:04
  so are we in this world. So we can have this boldness
• 19:09
  when we stand before an Almighty God.
• 19:11
  And it's not based on anything that we have or haven't done.
• 19:16
  It's based solely upon being covered in the blood of Jesus
• 19:20
  Christ. And blessed is the man whose
• 19:23
  sins will never be counted against him.
• 19:26
  Friends, that is what we stand upon, the finished work of the
• 19:30
  cross paid in full. And that is how we can have
• 19:34
  confidence in the day of judgment.
• 19:37
  And we do not need to cower, friends.
• 19:40
  We work out our salvation with fear and trembling, friends.
• 19:44
  But it is not a cowering fear because we have boldness in the
• 19:49
  presence of an Almighty God because of the blood of Jesus
• 19:53
  Christ covering us. 18 There is No Fear in love, but perfect
• 20:03
  love casts out fear, because fear has torment.
• 20:09
  That fears is not made perfect in love.
• 20:12
  So whenever we are serving a loving God, when we have the
• 20:17
  indwelling of the Holy Spirit within us, we need not live in
• 20:21
  fear. We need not let fear be the
• 20:24
  motivator in our lives. We don't need to fear death.
• 20:28
  We don't need to fear disease. We don't need to fear
• 20:31
  imprisonment. We don't need to fear legal
• 20:33
  action. We don't need to fear the loss
• 20:36
  of life or limb or loved ones. Friends, we do not operate in
• 20:41
  that spirit of fear, but we operate in the confidence,
• 20:46
  knowing that no matter what happens to us, we will see Him
• 20:51
  and we will be face to face with Christ Jesus and where He is.
• 20:55
  We will be and we will put on our immortal bodies.
• 20:58
  We will take off this Tabernacle and put on the eternal
• 21:05
  Tabernacle that He has promised us.
• 21:07
  We walk in that confidence. We do not worry, friends.
• 21:12
  We do not allow fear to be the loudest voice in our minds.
• 21:18
  We walk in the confidence of Jesus Christ, knowing that He is
• 21:22
  more than able to save to the utmost.
• 21:26
  And yes, we practice the common sense of protection and we
• 21:34
  practice the common sense of walking in the Spirit with Him,
• 21:38
  and He will protect us as we go through this life.
• 21:42
  And even when things happen because they will, we do not
• 21:45
  doubt that God has not allowed it in our lives to work things
• 21:50
  out that don't belong. And that is one of the greatest
• 21:54
  mysteries of this faith is whenever we suffer loss or
• 21:58
  whenever we have disease, or whenever we're walking through
• 22:01
  seasons that don't make sense in relation to God and how we think
• 22:08
  that He should operate. When we see the tragedies in the
• 22:11
  world that involve the innocent and we cannot understand it,
• 22:15
  friends, but this is one of the greatest mysteries of walking
• 22:19
  with Him. But we do not even in all of it,
• 22:22
  we do not allow fear to be the motivator for the things in our
• 22:26
  lives. We walk in the confidence and
• 22:29
  the boldness of knowing that even if we lose our life here on
• 22:33
  this earth, we will gain eternal life.
• 22:36
  And this is not it. Friends, there's so much more to
• 22:39
  the story. Once you take your last breath,
• 22:42
  you will finally understand what this whole thing was about.
• 22:54
  We do not need to be tormented by fear, friends.
• 22:57
  We need to be made perfect in His love. 19 We love him because
• 23:02
  he first loved us. He initiated it while we were
• 23:06
  yet still sinning. Friends, Jesus Christ died for
• 23:11
  us. He thought of us as precious.
• 23:15
  He thought of us as worthy to be his and to step into that
• 23:22
  relationship with him, and he died for us even before we even
• 23:27
  made a decision for him. What an amazing thought that we
• 23:31
  can't even know what love is apart from the love of God. 20
• 23:36
  If a man say I love God and hates his brother, he's a liar,
• 23:42
  for he has loved not his brother whom he has seen.
• 23:46
  How can he love God whom he has not seen?
• 23:49
  So here's another great indicator.
• 23:51
  This whole chapter here, friends, really the whole book
• 23:54
  of first John has been nothing but our ability to be able to
• 23:59
  gauge who belongs to the Lord and who doesn't.
• 24:02
  And you can see it here again. We must love our brother and
• 24:07
  love our sister. Even if they are cantankerous,
• 24:11
  even if they are hypercritical, even if they're doing the things
• 24:15
  that annoy us to no end, we still love them as brothers and
• 24:20
  sisters. And you can love them from a
• 24:23
  distance. We'll end on 21 and this
• 24:28
  commandment. Have we from him that he who
• 24:32
  loves God loves his brother also?
• 24:35
  We need to be those who love and not hold and house and harbor
• 24:41
  hatred and resentment and this toxic sludge within our bodies
• 24:47
  that is cancerous to our bones. We need to let go of it all,
• 24:51
  friends. Let love back in, Friends.
• 24:55
  Quit holding on to the wrongs that people have done to you.
• 25:00
  Quit letting that be the identity that defines you.
• 25:04
  Step into the reality that God is love and that we should love
• 25:09
  and forgive those, especially our brothers. 70 * 7 infinitely
• 25:16
  forgiveness, just in the same way that He has forgiven us.
• 25:19
