- 0:00Speaker 1: Coming up on relatables.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Well, luckily he only told them about the time I
- 0:04Speaker 2: ship myself on the mountains, not.
- 0:06Speaker 3: In the woods, and I told them my bride.
- 0:11Speaker 4: He was like, yeah, oh, Relatable.
- 0:26Speaker 1: Relatables podcast.
- 0:26Speaker 5: It's hosted by myself, Jake Craig aka Daddy, and my
- 0:30Speaker 5: partnering crime, Oddie Clark aka Mummy. And Oddie is Mummy
- 0:35Speaker 5: because he's the one you go to when you want to.
- 0:37Speaker 1: Talk about your feelings, and Jake is Daddy because here's
- 0:40Speaker 1: the one you go to because you can't say no
- 0:42Speaker 1: to the baddies.
- 0:43Speaker 5: And you guys listening, ah, our baddies.
- 0:46Speaker 1: Welcome, welcome, welcome back, Welcome back, guys. We don't want to.
- 0:48Speaker 5: Waste any time when this start of this episode. Okay,
- 0:52Speaker 5: we have a confession session for you, and it is
- 0:55Speaker 5: a hot contender for the worst when you've got to
- 0:58Speaker 5: go or is it best?
- 1:00Speaker 1: Worst or best? I don't know the thing that you.
- 1:01Speaker 5: Would want to happen to you the absolute least in
- 1:03Speaker 5: the whole wide world when you got to go, you
- 1:05Speaker 5: got to go.
- 1:05Speaker 1: Confession session and me and Jake disagree at the end,
- 1:09Speaker 1: so we know what happens. We were calling this after
- 1:12Speaker 1: it's kind of it's juicy. I think, although we disagreed,
- 1:16Speaker 1: this might be my favorite caller.
- 1:18Speaker 5: Oh, you guys will see why. Strong accent, but very
- 1:24Speaker 5: very well spoken. You can understand it every word.
- 1:28Speaker 1: Except for one word. But we get it. We get
- 1:30Speaker 1: that definition on it. Woozy no, I think, she said.
- 1:36Speaker 5: Anyways in joy, Hello and welcome to Confession Sessions. First
- 1:43Speaker 5: things first, would you like to be anonymous?
- 1:47Speaker 1: Okay? All right, that's okay, that's okay. That means it's
- 1:53Speaker 1: a good story. That's that's all I'm hearing. So is
- 1:56Speaker 1: there a name that you've always wanted to.
- 1:58Speaker 5: Be called that obviously isn't your name? Or would you
- 2:01Speaker 5: like us to choose one for you?
- 2:03Speaker 2: Yong?
- 2:03Speaker 1: Choose one? Okay, we're here. Yeah. We had someone say
- 2:08Speaker 1: y'all before, and we love it. We need put that
- 2:10Speaker 1: in our vocabulary. Yo, okay, okay, what's like is it?
- 2:15Speaker 1: What's the twang? What's a twangy name name? Yeah? I'm
- 2:21Speaker 1: kind of feeling just like an Emma. I was thinking Ariella.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Which do you like? Ariella? Yeah? Ship? What do you
- 2:28Speaker 1: think is better?
- 2:29Speaker 3: I don't know?
- 2:32Speaker 1: Okay, we'll go with Ariel. Ariella. You have it?
- 2:35Speaker 5: When you gotta go, you gotta go, and you wrote
- 2:39Speaker 5: in saying that you were given a nudge to write
- 2:42Speaker 5: it in that it can trump the Manhattan Bridge story.
- 2:48Speaker 5: So I want you to go from the very tippy
- 2:51Speaker 5: top and make your way down with all the details
- 2:54Speaker 5: to the very end, and we are going to listen
- 2:56Speaker 5: and probably react a bit and yeah, just take it away.
- 3:02Speaker 2: Oh god, Okay. So I never thought I'd be sharing
- 3:05Speaker 2: this horrifying experience, but here we are. So this happened
- 3:13Speaker 2: a little over three years ago. I was sixteen, and
- 3:17Speaker 2: I had a little bit of anxiety, like I never
- 3:19Speaker 2: went on trips with strangers fair but my dad had
- 3:23Speaker 2: a friend in town and the friend was like, oh,
- 3:26Speaker 2: we have an extra seat on this little travel bus
- 3:29Speaker 2: that they bought to go on Skia trips. And my
- 3:34Speaker 2: dad was like, oh, my daughter would love.
- 3:36Speaker 1: To gos awesome. Just make a decision for you.
- 3:42Speaker 2: And it was on a Wednesday and they were leaving
- 3:44Speaker 2: on Friday.
- 3:45Speaker 1: Nice.
- 3:46Speaker 2: So my dad was like, pack your bags, you're going.
- 3:50Speaker 1: I am covering coming from Australians.
- 3:55Speaker 5: This is Australians say Wednesday and that that was very
- 4:00Speaker 5: that was not foreign to us.
- 4:03Speaker 2: So I was already dreading it, but I just like
- 4:06Speaker 2: was like, oh, well, it's fine, we'll make the best
- 4:08Speaker 2: of it. So I am crammed onto this little bus
- 4:13Speaker 2: with all these people i'd met like three times, and
- 4:18Speaker 2: we finally get there and my dad was like, oh,
- 4:20Speaker 2: it'll be fine. You'll have your own room and your
- 4:22Speaker 2: own bathroom and it'll be great.
- 4:25Speaker 1: Sweet.
- 4:26Speaker 2: We get to the cabin. It is a two bedroom,
- 4:30Speaker 2: one bathroom cabin.
- 4:32Speaker 1: How many people is the.
- 4:37Speaker 4: Nine?
- 4:38Speaker 1: One? All right? So yeah, okay, it sounds like your
- 4:44Speaker 1: own room is a bit of fu fetched.
- 4:46Speaker 2: No, So the two married couples took the rooms yep,
- 4:51Speaker 2: and left two of the daughters on a pullout couch.
- 4:56Speaker 2: The two boys got an air mattress and I got
- 4:58Speaker 2: a cot.
- 4:59Speaker 1: Okay, wait like a baby in the living room?
- 5:02Speaker 5: No, I think it cuts kind of like a bed
- 5:03Speaker 5: that's like a little bit off the ground.
- 5:05Speaker 1: Okay, okay, yeah, yeah.
- 5:07Speaker 2: It was terrible. Oh and so the only reason I
- 5:18Speaker 2: got on this bus trip was because my dad's friend's son,
- 5:22Speaker 2: we'll call him Travis. He had a job interview on
- 5:26Speaker 2: Sunday and the bus wouldn't be back on time. So
- 5:28Speaker 2: they were like, you can drive separate. Cool, So Travis
- 5:33Speaker 2: gets there and they're all like, oh, we want to
- 5:35Speaker 2: go night skin. Why never ski a day in my life.
- 5:39Speaker 2: So I was like, oh, I'll just hang here, you know,
- 5:42Speaker 2: watch a movie and whatever. So they all leave and
- 5:47Speaker 2: I'm sitting on the couch and all of a sudden,
- 5:50Speaker 2: I get these like gut wrench and stomach cramps. Nice,
- 5:54Speaker 2: They're like the urgent oh no kind of situation.
- 5:57Speaker 1: Yeah, I've had that. Oh no, it is right.
- 6:01Speaker 2: And being sixteen and stupid, I panicked because I didn't
- 6:06Speaker 2: want to blow up the only bathroom and these people
- 6:08Speaker 2: come back to like a smelly bathroom.
- 6:11Speaker 1: Such a girl problem by that.
- 6:16Speaker 2: So I did what I thought was best. I grabbed
- 6:18Speaker 2: paper towels from the kitchen and ran outside to the
- 6:21Speaker 2: woods that were by these cabins.
- 6:24Speaker 1: You had a fully operating toilet right there, and you
- 6:27Speaker 1: are overload. Okay, okay, no, no, no, I'm here, I'm here,
- 6:31Speaker 1: I'm here. We've got and trying to get we'll get
- 6:33Speaker 1: in the same minds. Yeah, that was the right decision.
- 6:35Speaker 1: You're protecting the peace of the cabin. Yeah.
- 6:39Speaker 2: So it was so bad. I gagged so many times.
- 6:43Speaker 2: It was so bad, But in my head I was thinking, hey,
- 6:47Speaker 2: you know what, the bathroom doesn't smell.
- 6:49Speaker 1: Yeah, optimism.
- 6:54Speaker 2: So I go back inside and I finished the movie
- 6:57Speaker 2: and everyone comes back. They shower, and we all went
- 6:59Speaker 2: sleep around the midnight okay, and I'm on this uncomfied,
- 7:02Speaker 2: glorified lawn chair. When I wake up at four am
- 7:05Speaker 2: with the same paint.
- 7:06Speaker 3: Oh no, so again, I just go to the woods.
- 7:14Speaker 1: You're like, I've done this before. I know what needs
- 7:17Speaker 1: to be done. Is it is it like hates the
- 7:18Speaker 1: snow out in the woods too, Yes.
- 7:21Speaker 3: It's like midwinter. It's usha.
- 7:24Speaker 2: It's not good.
- 7:25Speaker 1: Oh my god, it's what it's.
- 7:29Speaker 3: Ushi.
- 7:31Speaker 1: We don't know that means.
- 7:33Speaker 2: It means it's cold.
- 7:35Speaker 5: Yeah, you idiot, Obviously it's freezing in the middle of
- 7:41Speaker 5: Winterow this heaps snow and you're shitting in the woods.
- 7:43Speaker 1: Let's go.
- 7:47Speaker 2: And I didn't want anyone to know it was me,
- 7:49Speaker 2: so I was like, oh, yeah, second time in the woods.
- 7:51Speaker 2: Who cares?
- 7:51Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 7:52Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 7:54Speaker 2: So I come back inside and I go to bed,
- 7:56Speaker 2: and the next morning, or I guess the same morning,
- 8:00Speaker 2: we all get up and they're like, oh, Traps is
- 8:02Speaker 2: going to teach you how to ski, since he's the
- 8:04Speaker 2: best out of all of us.
- 8:05Speaker 1: What a nice guy.
- 8:08Speaker 2: So we get all our gear on and we go
- 8:10Speaker 2: to like the bunny slopes first, and it's going all right.
- 8:15Speaker 2: The only thing I don't know.
- 8:16Speaker 1: How to do is how to stop, yes fah.
- 8:19Speaker 2: But then since we were sixteen and seventeen and dumb,
- 8:22Speaker 2: we were like, oh, it's fine, I'll figure it out.
- 8:26Speaker 1: Hey, yeah, you can break.
- 8:28Speaker 4: Why not?
- 8:31Speaker 2: So we go on like a harder slope and halfway down,
- 8:35Speaker 2: disaster shocks again. It's that same awful feeling.
- 8:39Speaker 1: Oh you know what you ate at this point like
- 8:42Speaker 1: the day's prior.
- 8:44Speaker 2: Literally nothing, I don't know what it was, damn. And
- 8:48Speaker 2: it was like the first time I'd ever had stomach
- 8:51Speaker 2: issues like.
- 8:51Speaker 1: This, okay weed someone's case.
- 8:54Speaker 2: And it was just bad. It was just bad.
- 8:56Speaker 1: Yeah. Wow.
- 8:58Speaker 2: So here i am halfway out on the mountain and
- 9:01Speaker 2: I'm clenching like my life depends on it. So at
- 9:06Speaker 2: the bottom, since I don't know how to stop, I crashed,
- 9:09Speaker 2: fully crashed, and it was like the floodgates oken up.
- 9:14Speaker 2: It went all down my legs.
- 9:18Speaker 1: Like crashing, did you like it? Come out? At the
- 9:23Speaker 1: same time?
- 9:25Speaker 3: It was so bad, so and I landed like kind
- 9:34Speaker 3: of on my butt, so it like set into my
- 9:36Speaker 3: ski pants.
- 9:40Speaker 2: So Travis comes down and he helps me up, and
- 9:42Speaker 2: he like definitely smells it. There's no not smelling it,
- 9:46Speaker 2: damn it. But I'll play it off. And I'm like,
- 9:50Speaker 2: and I kind of blame it on someone else.
- 9:53Speaker 1: I don't know what that smell. That's that kid over there.
- 10:00Speaker 2: So I pretend to be hurt and I'm like, oh
- 10:02Speaker 2: my god, my hips, just so I can get away
- 10:06Speaker 2: from this man.
- 10:06Speaker 1: Fair fair, fair fair, And I was.
- 10:09Speaker 2: Like, oh, I'll just go back and ice it. You can,
- 10:12Speaker 2: you can go ski with your family. And so I
- 10:16Speaker 2: make it back to the cabin and as I'm on
- 10:18Speaker 2: my way to the bathroom, I'm like thanking all my
- 10:20Speaker 2: lucky stars that everyone was still skiing and the whole
- 10:23Speaker 2: place was empty.
- 10:25Speaker 5: Yeah, lucky, very So.
- 10:29Speaker 2: I peel off everything and start renting it in the shower,
- 10:33Speaker 2: and luckily it had a handheld line, which made it
- 10:36Speaker 2: like ten times easier. Yep, but I'm Midshire and I
- 10:40Speaker 2: feel it again when so the logical thing would have
- 10:47Speaker 2: just been to go to the toilet because I'm already
- 10:49Speaker 2: in the shower, but no.
- 10:51Speaker 1: Please don't tell me you went outside.
- 10:54Speaker 2: I wrapped myself in a pew, grab a worst cloth
- 10:59Speaker 2: off the shelf, and book it outside barefoot.
- 11:07Speaker 1: You you were in the bodroom washing ship. It already
- 11:11Speaker 1: smelled like it's already fad.
- 11:16Speaker 2: So you know what, I'm just thinking to myself, all right,
- 11:18Speaker 2: third times it's harm and y'all. It was like the
- 11:22Speaker 2: grand finale to a fireworks show.
- 11:29Speaker 3: It was so bad.
- 11:31Speaker 1: What on earth did you eat?
- 11:33Speaker 5: Well?
- 11:34Speaker 2: I have no idea, well, God, and so I clean
- 11:42Speaker 2: up as best as I can, and I take this
- 11:44Speaker 2: worst cloth and I just throw it as far as
- 11:46Speaker 2: I can into the woods.
- 11:47Speaker 1: Yeah. Fair, I would have buried it in the snow way.
- 11:52Speaker 2: So I go back inside and I'm freezing my ass off.
- 11:56Speaker 2: So I get back in the shower and like rents
- 11:59Speaker 2: off again. I get out, get dressed, and stuff these wet,
- 12:05Speaker 2: nasty snowpants into a plastic bag and sit on the
- 12:09Speaker 2: couch and just try not to cry and replay what
- 12:12Speaker 2: the hell has happened in the last twenty four hours.
- 12:15Speaker 1: Yeah, So I start.
- 12:16Speaker 2: Crying and I call my dad and I tell him everything.
- 12:20Speaker 1: Shit, did you blame him? I would say, this is
- 12:22Speaker 1: your fan.
- 12:24Speaker 3: Yes I did.
- 12:25Speaker 2: I was like, Dad, this is all your cull. Yeah,
- 12:28Speaker 2: I didn't get my own room, definitely didn't get my
- 12:31Speaker 2: own bathrooms. And I was like, what do I do?
- 12:36Speaker 2: And the man starts laughing at me, and he's like,
- 12:42Speaker 2: all right, all right, I'll make up an excuse so
- 12:45Speaker 2: you can go home later that night with Travis, who
- 12:47Speaker 2: was leaving for the job interview.
- 12:49Speaker 1: Oh yeah.
- 12:50Speaker 2: And so that night everyone comes back like around the
- 12:54Speaker 2: same time, and they start cooking dinner and one of
- 12:58Speaker 2: the wives is like, hey, come here first second. So
- 13:01Speaker 2: she pulls me on to the front porch and just
- 13:03Speaker 2: straight up asks why I didn't tell someone I had
- 13:05Speaker 2: an accident. She immersed into tears immediately.
- 13:11Speaker 1: Is she referencing the crash or the accident like the poop?
- 13:16Speaker 2: Well, luckily he'd only told them about the time I
- 13:19Speaker 2: ship myself on the mountain and not in.
- 13:21Speaker 4: The woods, because I told them my daddy. He was like, yeah,
- 13:30Speaker 4: what a dog.
- 13:33Speaker 2: So now the entire group knows I shipped myself on
- 13:36Speaker 2: the mountain.
- 13:37Speaker 1: Ah.
- 13:39Speaker 2: So I'm like whipping my tears or whatever, and Travis
- 13:43Speaker 2: comes outside with his bag and he's like, oh, I'm
- 13:45Speaker 2: ready to go home. Yeah, So I go back inside
- 13:52Speaker 2: and I'll pack up my bags and make the most
- 13:54Speaker 2: awkward exit ever with my step had some hands and
- 14:01Speaker 2: my duffel in the other It was so awkward.
- 14:04Speaker 5: Was it kind of freeing that you didn't have to
- 14:07Speaker 5: hide it though anymore everyone new?
- 14:10Speaker 2: Kind of but not really, because I was like, oh
- 14:13Speaker 2: my god, I.
- 14:15Speaker 1: Would have been thinking you'd never see his face again. Yeah.
- 14:21Speaker 2: So we're about halfway home and I just break down
- 14:25Speaker 2: crime and I tell Travis everything. Yeah, and he laughed,
- 14:30Speaker 2: but it wasn't in like a mean way, but he
- 14:32Speaker 2: was kind of like, oh my god, that's something that
- 14:34Speaker 2: would happen to me.
- 14:35Speaker 1: Oh, which made me feel a.
- 14:37Speaker 2: Little better, you know. I was like, oh good, what
- 14:40Speaker 2: a nice guy. So we finally get to my house
- 14:44Speaker 2: and I'm like halfway out of the truck when he
- 14:47Speaker 2: turns to me and he goes, can I have your number?
- 14:54Speaker 2: I just told you about how I ship in the
- 14:56Speaker 2: woods three times and then ship my pants and you
- 14:59Speaker 2: want my number?
- 15:00Speaker 1: Is that what you said? Yes? What did he say?
- 15:04Speaker 2: It was like, yeah, he was like, I think it's
- 15:07Speaker 2: kind of funny.
- 15:08Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what I look for, and A go, that's
- 15:12Speaker 1: a good man about that.
- 15:13Speaker 2: Oh my god. So fast forward to now three years later,
- 15:19Speaker 2: Travis and I are Dayton.
- 15:22Speaker 6: It's a make chance, God make you so when you
- 15:26Speaker 6: gotta go to yard.
- 15:27Speaker 1: I had to make you.
- 15:28Speaker 2: In one story, it gets worse because now whenever we
- 15:34Speaker 2: see woods, it doesn't matter for driving, walking, whatever. And
- 15:38Speaker 2: I live on the middle of nowhere, Merlin.
- 15:40Speaker 4: So.
- 15:41Speaker 2: We see a lot of woods.
- 15:43Speaker 3: So he'll lean down and.
- 15:44Speaker 2: He'll whisper in my ear. You gotta go to the bathroom,
- 15:52Speaker 2: and then, oh my god, and then I just relived
- 15:56Speaker 2: the whole weekend.
- 15:57Speaker 1: Over my head this onesday. He's a cave. Yeah, he's
- 16:00Speaker 1: a key far you can see the funny side of it.
- 16:05Speaker 1: Damn Well, is that? Does it get any worse? Or
- 16:09Speaker 1: are we good? Are we finally? Are we done?
- 16:13Speaker 2: I think so? Yeah, I think I got all of it.
- 16:15Speaker 5: We've done well.
- 16:16Speaker 4: Well.
- 16:17Speaker 1: Hopefully you end up marrying this man. Yeah, and instead
- 16:20Speaker 1: of being angry at your dad, you can thank him
- 16:23Speaker 1: because without him, you guys would have never connected. Literally,
- 16:28Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 16:28Speaker 2: If he brings up the story one more time, it's
- 16:30Speaker 2: not looking too good.
- 16:33Speaker 1: Oh, this is a story that's getting brought up at
- 16:35Speaker 1: your wedding. I'm telling you that right now. Can you
- 16:38Speaker 1: please email us when you get married. We'll call you
- 16:41Speaker 1: up again. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I want to hear
- 16:43Speaker 1: it live.
- 16:47Speaker 5: Well, thank you so so much for calling in and
- 16:50Speaker 5: telling us that story. I really appreciate it. You're welcome,
- 16:53Speaker 5: and I know it's getting pretty late where you are,
- 16:56Speaker 5: so I hope you have a good night. And yeah,
- 16:58Speaker 5: thank you again.
- 16:59Speaker 2: Thanks, haven't they good night?
- 17:02Speaker 1: Bye?
- 17:03Speaker 7: Bute?
- 17:06Speaker 5: Wow, Okay, time to make a decision. Does that what
- 17:16Speaker 5: would you prefer happen to you?
- 17:18Speaker 1: We have a problem here though, Manhattan Bridge, all that,
- 17:21Speaker 1: how we've been ranking it is what we would prefer.
- 17:24Speaker 1: She fell in love at the end, man, take that
- 17:27Speaker 1: out of it. No, take that out of it. I'm
- 17:30Speaker 1: just talking about that ship. This This was a when
- 17:32Speaker 1: you gotta go, you gotta go love store. You can't
- 17:35Speaker 1: take that out of it. This one was also self inflicted,
- 17:41Speaker 1: not the crash, but the two prior. Like there's a
- 17:43Speaker 1: toilet right there, hey, mate at home. Decisions were made
- 17:47Speaker 1: in the in the process, I think, to be fair,
- 17:51Speaker 1: a couple of the decisions of the Manhattan Bridge were
- 17:54Speaker 1: I don't know, here you go, oh, I don't know.
- 17:59Speaker 1: The ski crash, but it's also cold, so like it's
- 18:03Speaker 1: not that bad. What do you think it's cold. Yeah,
- 18:07Speaker 1: I'm thinking not that bad. Yeah, thinking, well, she's got
- 18:10Speaker 1: big layers on, like thick clothes too, keep all the
- 18:14Speaker 1: shit in.
- 18:16Speaker 5: I was thinking, that's nearly why.
- 18:17Speaker 1: I'm thinking this one. I'm saying this one is the
- 18:19Speaker 1: best one I've ever had because I had a happy ending.
- 18:22Speaker 1: Oh yeah, well yeah.
- 18:23Speaker 5: Properly thinking about it because of the situation. Right, So
- 18:28Speaker 5: she's with Manhattan Bridge, so she had a dog and
- 18:33Speaker 5: she did to be fair shit herself in the middle
- 18:35Speaker 5: of the road on Manhattan and then the only thing though,
- 18:40Speaker 5: is that they were both out in a public place,
- 18:44Speaker 5: and I'm just thinking I would prefer doing it on
- 18:47Speaker 5: the Manhattan Bridge because really no one knows, or no
- 18:51Speaker 5: one that I know.
- 18:52Speaker 1: Knows, but everyone knows here.
- 18:53Speaker 5: But with the skiing one, everyone knows and I know them.
- 19:00Speaker 5: The reason this is the contender is because she's also
- 19:02Speaker 5: was sixteen. She was young too, mortifying for a sixteen
- 19:06Speaker 5: year old, and her now boyfriend is only one year
- 19:08Speaker 5: older and he was seventeen.
- 19:09Speaker 1: He was helping her. Oh, I think we might disagree.
- 19:13Speaker 1: I'm thinking the Manhattan Day, the Manhattan one Wednesday. Really yeah, fuck.
- 19:19Speaker 5: We might have to get the baddies in here to
- 19:21Speaker 5: yeah comment comment, I just think I can't overlook the
- 19:24Speaker 5: love story. It's literally the easiest thing ever to just say,
- 19:28Speaker 5: just take out the love bit.
- 19:30Speaker 1: The easiest thing to do is take out the love.
- 19:32Speaker 1: Just think about the ship.
- 19:33Speaker 5: I'm saying Manhattan, Okay, I'm saying I would prefer Manhattan
- 19:37Speaker 5: over this.
- 19:38Speaker 1: So you would prefer the ski thing to happen to
- 19:41Speaker 1: you prefer.
- 19:41Speaker 5: Manhattan, Okay, I'd prefer Manhattan to happen to be in
- 19:44Speaker 5: the ski. So, guys, I guess world, it could be
- 19:47Speaker 5: a tie. Yeah, I guess these are both the worst.
- 19:50Speaker 1: But let us know. Yeah, let us know what you think.
- 19:52Speaker 5: And again, email us relatable sixty nine at gmail dot com.
- 19:57Speaker 5: When you've got to go, you gotta go as the subject,
- 20:00Speaker 5: and if you think you have a better story than
- 20:01Speaker 5: either Manhattan or this one. And also we've been getting
- 20:06Speaker 5: a fair few. I've noticed daily there's like two emails.
- 20:09Speaker 5: I'm waking up to multiple emails with the cheating ones.
- 20:14Speaker 5: And so we've kind of now done this thing where
- 20:16Speaker 5: I only read the one You've got to go, You've
- 20:17Speaker 5: got to go, and Audie reads the cheating ones, and
- 20:19Speaker 5: we said, is there any good ones?
- 20:21Speaker 1: Yes, there's a few good ones. Cheating is dangerous, like
- 20:25Speaker 1: there's some sketchy shit.
- 20:27Speaker 5: Yeah, it's dangerous, but it could be fucking It's not
- 20:30Speaker 5: about the last it's more about the suspense.
- 20:32Speaker 1: It is funny on our side of things, like each
- 20:34Speaker 1: morning we do wake up and then just the email
- 20:37Speaker 1: topic sentence is just when you've got to go. It's
- 20:41Speaker 1: so normal. I've got the best job ever. Okay, alrighty guys,
- 20:52Speaker 1: it's that time of the episode where we give you
- 20:55Speaker 1: an update on if we have been able to get
- 20:59Speaker 1: one of our songs on the radio and how have
- 21:01Speaker 1: we gone. Well, if you're joining us for the first time,
- 21:05Speaker 1: this has been about. This is the week three three week,
- 21:09Speaker 1: three week journey of us trying to get one of
- 21:11Speaker 1: our songs on the radio. Here is a little snippet
- 21:14Speaker 1: of the song Chalant.
- 21:18Speaker 5: The sweet Illusion, Your Confusion, don't.
- 21:26Speaker 1: Don't need to be again banger in my opinion, I
- 21:34Speaker 1: mean to be fair, I don't.
- 21:35Speaker 5: That's not the one that's gonna get on the radio though,
- 21:37Speaker 5: if any who knows it might mix responses just want
- 21:41Speaker 5: like different ones.
- 21:42Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a three song EP.
- 21:43Speaker 5: Yeah, and we're just one of them.
- 21:47Speaker 1: And where we left you. Last week was we DMD
- 21:50Speaker 1: quite a few radio stations and only really Jimmy and
- 21:54Speaker 1: nath got back to us. We have a few more updates,
- 21:58Speaker 1: but also a few new avenue is where we might
- 22:01Speaker 1: be able to get we All we need to do
- 22:02Speaker 1: is get our foot in the door. Yeah, and then
- 22:04Speaker 1: as soon as we're in there, we're not We're not
- 22:07Speaker 1: letting him close the door.
- 22:09Speaker 5: It's like in a movie when there's a guy at
- 22:12Speaker 5: the door that's like trying to apologize to his girl
- 22:15Speaker 5: and she goes to close it and he puts his
- 22:16Speaker 5: foot in.
- 22:16Speaker 1: It just doesn't Yeah, that's the radio station. But Jake
- 22:21Speaker 1: actually got a bit creative with his methods randomly got
- 22:26Speaker 1: a bit creative.
- 22:27Speaker 5: Yeah, you can run us through that first. I was
- 22:29Speaker 5: so last week. I was scrolling on TikTok after we
- 22:34Speaker 5: recorded last week and I came across a live stream.
- 22:39Speaker 5: Also like Stars Aligned, I never come across live streams.
- 22:43Speaker 5: They used to push him to my account all the time,
- 22:45Speaker 5: and then they stopped for some reason. They feel like
- 22:47Speaker 5: they stopped as soon as Jason Nash got maybe the
- 22:52Speaker 5: monetization went down. They got the podcast back with David
- 22:55Speaker 5: Dobrick because they were pushing him to me all the time,
- 22:58Speaker 5: so annoying. He just as soon as David Dover goes, yeah,
- 23:00Speaker 5: we're doing views again, just and now she just goes
- 23:02Speaker 5: fuck you, TikTok, and TikTok is like, well, shit, now
- 23:04Speaker 5: we don't have a live thing to do, but okay. Basically,
- 23:07Speaker 5: this live stream got pushed to me and it was
- 23:08Speaker 5: a Triple J radio host doing the evening seven till
- 23:13Speaker 5: nine pm or something, and there was about one hundred
- 23:17Speaker 5: and twenty people in the live pretty good, and I thought, shit,
- 23:21Speaker 5: that's just low enough where I could get a few
- 23:24Speaker 5: comments in and she'll probably read them.
- 23:27Speaker 1: So that's what I did.
- 23:31Speaker 5: I screen recorded it and I've air dropped into on
- 23:33Speaker 5: his phone and he's going to play it for us.
- 23:35Speaker 5: And she did acknowledge, but yeah, you'll see what she says.
- 23:41Speaker 1: It's after this.
- 23:44Speaker 2: All right.
- 23:46Speaker 7: Today is a bit of a like I don't give
- 23:49Speaker 7: a fuck day.
- 23:49Speaker 1: I think, and I'm just like Offe, I think, what
- 23:56Speaker 1: was it? Tom? I have had a good day.
- 23:59Speaker 7: It's been fun.
- 24:01Speaker 1: The hardest.
- 24:02Speaker 7: Hago was home to see with Rufus. Yeah, they have
- 24:05Speaker 7: some good, good picks. They played a CDC, which means
- 24:10Speaker 7: that we can't play a c DC Tonight TV Missy
- 24:17Speaker 7: and Delta. Oh godati Fred again or some King Stingray.
- 24:22Speaker 7: I can do King Stingray, but I can't do Fred
- 24:24Speaker 7: again unless we're doing with the Bread again, Angie mcmind
- 24:27Speaker 7: collab because I can only play Australians yep, Mac, or
- 24:31Speaker 7: I am ripping Cohnes back here? Alright, just release an
- 24:36Speaker 7: EP relatable podcast. Well, I'll be damned. I need to
- 24:40Speaker 7: have a listen to it. Riley, what's up?
- 24:42Speaker 1: How's the message? Said? So her name is Ash. I
- 24:49Speaker 1: think I remember typing it out and I copy and
- 24:51Speaker 1: paste and I.
- 24:51Speaker 6: Said, Ash, we are the Relatables podcast.
- 24:53Speaker 5: We just released our first EP and we need your
- 24:56Speaker 5: help to get it on the radio. And she just
- 24:58Speaker 5: disregarded the radio bit and she just said I'll have
- 25:01Speaker 5: to listen to that.
- 25:02Speaker 1: That means she's not gonna listen to it, the bitch.
- 25:04Speaker 1: To be fair, to be fair, our foot has just
- 25:08Speaker 1: got in the door. A radio station host just said,
- 25:14Speaker 1: relatable ZP, I dare say that we have a hair
- 25:19Speaker 1: in the door. Yeah, a little pinky tongue. I'm getting there.
- 25:25Speaker 1: I like the attempt though, very creative. So that was
- 25:27Speaker 1: my work for a week my work, there's two updates.
- 25:33Speaker 1: One DM got back to us. Oh really, yeah, it
- 25:36Speaker 1: was actually the radio station that is close to us,
- 25:39Speaker 1: Star one A four point five. Let's go that. We
- 25:42Speaker 1: just go in there. Yeah, but the it's not really
- 25:46Speaker 1: a good response, she said. All they said, Star one
- 25:49Speaker 1: A four point five said, hi, team, thanks for reaching out.
- 25:52Speaker 1: This has been shared with our music programming department.
- 25:56Speaker 5: Oh so hey, that means there could be there could
- 25:59Speaker 5: be an updates.
- 26:00Speaker 1: I thought that was good, but also does that mean
- 26:01Speaker 1: it could get played and we don't even know?
- 26:03Speaker 5: Like, well, I feel as though we need to have
- 26:07Speaker 5: a meeting with the team of I feel what.
- 26:09Speaker 1: We're going to get. Yeah. I don't just want our
- 26:12Speaker 1: music share. I feel like we assume people are like
- 26:14Speaker 1: an upcoming artist. Maybe our plans got a few flaws
- 26:18Speaker 1: in it.
- 26:18Speaker 5: I think we need to set up meetings. Yes, okay,
- 26:23Speaker 5: but this is where maybe the best lead is. Okay, okay,
- 26:27Speaker 5: well fuck this, let's go straight to the big dogs, Spotify.
- 26:31Speaker 1: Yeah, we have a contact at Spotify. Yeah. So basically
- 26:35Speaker 1: we emailed Spotify and told them the whole play campaign,
- 26:39Speaker 1: everything the three songs, asked them to listen, and they
- 26:43Speaker 1: were actually quite impressed. I think more with the campaign
- 26:46Speaker 1: because we explained the podcast started Think yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 26:48Speaker 1: and they said it was a really good campaign idea. Yes,
- 26:52Speaker 1: And they said I can try and help get it
- 26:54Speaker 1: on the radio through connections because we work with major
- 26:57Speaker 1: networks mostly Listener, AI N and ABC ABC that's tibile J. Yeah.
- 27:04Speaker 1: So we said absolutely, I said, I actually even said,
- 27:08Speaker 1: all we need to do is get our foot in
- 27:09Speaker 1: the door. Then I think we can make this happen.
- 27:11Speaker 1: So now you guys are up to date. Okay, okay, okay, okay,
- 27:15Speaker 1: So we've got a little bit of a connection. Spotify
- 27:17Speaker 1: is going to do a bit of groundwork for us,
- 27:19Speaker 1: which I think coming from them is better rather than
- 27:21Speaker 1: these two. We should have gone straight to the big
- 27:23Speaker 1: dog up and coming ours see stone A four point
- 27:27Speaker 1: five didn't take us seriously.
- 27:28Speaker 5: We should have gone straight to the big dogs and
- 27:30Speaker 5: stopped being like us in the d MS of the
- 27:33Speaker 5: radio stations. Even though we have a fair few follow
- 27:35Speaker 5: it seems.
- 27:36Speaker 1: Needy, We doesn't seem need Yeah, and like we're begging, yeah,
- 27:40Speaker 1: straight to Spotify vouching for us. Yeah, these stations are
- 27:43Speaker 1: going to go obviously. Yeah, So I got high hopes
- 27:46Speaker 1: that the journey we're learning how to get.
- 27:48Speaker 5: Yeah, I hope I'm putting out here right now. If
- 27:52Speaker 5: this round of songs, if this EP does not make
- 27:54Speaker 5: it on the radio, if we fail, how many weeks
- 27:56Speaker 5: are we giving ourselves?
- 27:57Speaker 1: Right? Week three?
- 27:59Speaker 5: Because it could go forever five or six six, We'll
- 28:02Speaker 5: go six six, We'll go to six weeks.
- 28:05Speaker 1: Okay.
- 28:05Speaker 5: If it fails, we put our heads together, we write
- 28:09Speaker 5: another song. Yeah, speaking of one song, yeah, okay, but
- 28:13Speaker 5: we put you we need to write the next big
- 28:20Speaker 5: TikTok blow up pop yeah, think of bencing boom, all
- 28:24Speaker 5: that type of stuff. Okay, so that's what we'll do
- 28:28Speaker 5: and we'll have another crack at it.
- 28:29Speaker 1: I reckon Uzy Woozy could be in there or something.
- 28:33Speaker 1: Radio stations making me feel oozy?
- 28:35Speaker 5: Mate, will we We got ideas, Yeah, we've got ideas.
- 28:39Speaker 1: So that'll be the next thing. But we don't fail.
- 28:41Speaker 1: We digress.
- 28:42Speaker 5: We've got six weeks. We shouldn't think about failure. Yeah,
- 28:44Speaker 5: that's not gonna happen.
- 28:45Speaker 1: Not going to need to have optimism, Yeah yeah, yeah, Jake,
- 28:54Speaker 1: We're in a very lucky position where we get a
- 28:56Speaker 1: unique insight to see how men are I don't know,
- 29:01Speaker 1: portrayed in society. And if you could use one word
- 29:04Speaker 1: to describe men in this modern age, what would it be?
- 29:10Speaker 5: What I get one word to describe men in the
- 29:14Speaker 5: modern age. I'm gonna take a second and think about
- 29:19Speaker 5: this one.
- 29:19Speaker 7: Hmmm.
- 29:21Speaker 5: I know what word you want me to say?
- 29:22Speaker 2: Hmm.
- 29:23Speaker 5: I'm trying to think of a better one. I'm gonna
- 29:27Speaker 5: have to say immature.
- 29:30Speaker 1: We have a connection there, man. It is time for
- 29:33Speaker 1: I g question of the week, think of another between
- 29:36Speaker 1: one and ten seven.
- 29:38Speaker 6: Oh, I got scared, bro, I was like, what are
- 29:42Speaker 6: you doing?
- 29:44Speaker 1: The ig question of the week is what do immature
- 29:47Speaker 1: men say when they're scared of commitment? So we are
- 29:53Speaker 1: about to learn a thing or two, but also hopefully
- 29:56Speaker 1: put men in their place and stop these When I
- 29:59Speaker 1: was getting these these are terrible. Stop these things being said.
- 30:02Speaker 1: A few classics in there, a lot of classics. Yeah.
- 30:05Speaker 1: I think as time has progressed, men have communicated what
- 30:10Speaker 1: has worked and what hasn't worked. Is it kind of
- 30:13Speaker 1: just like bullshit things men say to get out of
- 30:15Speaker 1: any type of commitment, or like as soon as guys
- 30:19Speaker 1: just get scared, as soon as they're about to like
- 30:20Speaker 1: date or have any type of commitment eighty.
- 30:23Speaker 5: I can't argue with that.
- 30:25Speaker 1: I've been there, I'm gonna start yeah, same, but I've
- 30:27Speaker 1: been immature. Yeah, we just got that frontal lobe development.
- 30:31Speaker 1: You're nearly there, don't. Well, lucky, I'm developing now, Lucky.
- 30:36Speaker 1: Some men never get it. Some men never get it.
- 30:38Speaker 5: What's it is it called? You're is the saying sexy? Yeah?
- 30:45Speaker 1: Beautiful? A man of a man before many talents before
- 30:50Speaker 1: his years or something? Is that? Maybe?
- 30:53Speaker 5: So maybe a front of load is developed a man
- 30:55Speaker 5: before his years many talents?
- 30:58Speaker 1: Yeah? Many? Oh honey? So what do immature men say
- 31:04Speaker 1: when they're scared of commitment? Let's not ruin this with
- 31:07Speaker 1: a title? OI, okay, labels are so outdated. Out date label.
- 31:17Speaker 5: I have another one that's to do with titles. Titles
- 31:20Speaker 5: don't matter if we know how we feel about each other.
- 31:24Speaker 1: It's just so much bullshit. It's terrible. Oh my god.
- 31:29Speaker 5: So the last girlfriend I had before beth Ah I
- 31:35Speaker 5: was so I started dating her. We started seeing each
- 31:39Speaker 5: other only probably like three months before the girlfriend I
- 31:44Speaker 5: had before that.
- 31:46Speaker 1: Was it that quick?
- 31:46Speaker 5: I think it was only about three minutes and.
- 31:48Speaker 1: Time after that first one? Yeah, it was.
- 31:51Speaker 5: It was three months and maybe four It wasn't long,
- 31:53Speaker 5: basically three four months, same thing, and I knew I
- 31:59Speaker 5: want I I just, you know, in my head was
- 32:02Speaker 5: saying that she's my girlfriend.
- 32:05Speaker 1: And then I was at a party.
- 32:06Speaker 5: I think I've said this on the podcast and one
- 32:09Speaker 5: of her friends asked when I was going to ask
- 32:10Speaker 5: her out? And I said, do I do I need.
- 32:12Speaker 6: To do that?
- 32:13Speaker 1: I was like, do I need to do that? And
- 32:16Speaker 1: then I said.
- 32:17Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, And so I did
- 32:20Speaker 5: it in the shittest way. And then growing up and
- 32:24Speaker 5: I guess maturing a bit and thinking it's not that
- 32:26Speaker 5: hard to say, will you be my girlfriend? I just
- 32:28Speaker 5: can't look back and think, yeah, that's true.
- 32:30Speaker 1: What did you do again?
- 32:31Speaker 5: I just I think I just asked her. I said,
- 32:36Speaker 5: would you like to like have a date? That would
- 32:39Speaker 5: be our anniversary? So and she goes like, sorry, you
- 32:44Speaker 5: asked me to be a girlfriend.
- 32:45Speaker 1: I guess how old was I? I would have been
- 32:49Speaker 1: about nineteen taking all the best things about.
- 32:54Speaker 5: Yeah, I think I was nineteen.
- 32:57Speaker 1: Will you hanging out of us yet? Not really? Or
- 32:59Speaker 1: you were just a little bit a little bit? Yeah,
- 33:00Speaker 1: you still have that other friendship group?
- 33:02Speaker 5: I was still Yeah, JJ was I was still just
- 33:04Speaker 5: like good friends with JJ and the mutual between our
- 33:08Speaker 5: friendly mutual between everyone, Yeah, the mutual between for some reason,
- 33:12Speaker 5: every single person on the planet.
- 33:14Speaker 1: What the fuck? Okay, So what do immature men say
- 33:20Speaker 1: when they're scared of commitment? I thought we were just
- 33:22Speaker 1: having fun? That is a common one, relatable.
- 33:28Speaker 5: Yeah, I thought we were just having fun.
- 33:31Speaker 1: I'm going to change this too.
- 33:33Speaker 5: What what do men say when they're trying to crush
- 33:35Speaker 5: your dreams?
- 33:38Speaker 1: Can we just see what happens? I'm actually I've figured
- 33:41Speaker 1: out what all these mean. They're all like things to
- 33:44Speaker 1: try and keep having sex. Yeah, but not have any commitment.
- 33:48Speaker 1: That's all it is. Yeah, they just want sex is
- 33:51Speaker 1: having fun. In fact, what do immature men say when
- 33:55Speaker 1: they're scared of commitment? We should just see where life
- 33:58Speaker 1: takes us. That's like saying let's go with the flow. Yeah,
- 34:01Speaker 1: I have one that says, let's just go with terrible.
- 34:07Speaker 5: Okay, honestly, I've got some just shiit ones. Okay, this
- 34:11Speaker 5: one's a what would you call it? Not victim blaming?
- 34:18Speaker 5: Oh no, just playing the victim? Just be called just
- 34:21Speaker 5: playing the victim. What do immature men say when they're
- 34:24Speaker 5: scared of commitment. I've been hurt before. Oh.
- 34:28Speaker 1: I saw a few of them talk about playing the victim.
- 34:31Speaker 1: One of the girl gave a response like in her
- 34:35Speaker 1: question and it was sorry for the language, fuck off, cunt.
- 34:42Speaker 1: I saw one that I didn't choose. I should have chosen.
- 34:45Speaker 1: It's funny and it was.
- 34:48Speaker 5: So like the guy said to her, you deserve better,
- 34:52Speaker 5: and so she said to him, be better then.
- 34:55Speaker 1: Literally, it's like something I don't want to try. Yeah,
- 34:57Speaker 1: legit is, it's I don't want to try. Yeah, oh
- 35:00Speaker 1: my god, all right, what do immature men say that?
- 35:04Speaker 1: A scared commitment? I see a future with you, just
- 35:07Speaker 1: not right now. Again, that's insane. It kind of doesn't
- 35:15Speaker 1: mean anything.
- 35:16Speaker 5: That you're That is the definition of Is that bread crumbing?
- 35:22Speaker 5: That's that's the definition of bread crumbing?
- 35:24Speaker 1: Yeah, giving it just enough so they stay around.
- 35:27Speaker 5: Yeah, it's like, oh he he says, he sees it.
- 35:29Speaker 1: The dilemma last week was we didn't say it. I
- 35:31Speaker 1: love you, but I'm not in loving bread crumbing. We
- 35:34Speaker 1: need to use that. Definitely. Girls are duck just.
- 35:40Speaker 6: Because they got fat asses. I'm telling the baddies. I
- 35:47Speaker 6: know the baddies are.
- 35:48Speaker 8: Fucking yeah, dumped up, dumped up, bro, dump trot the
- 35:54Speaker 8: men too, if there is anything.
- 35:59Speaker 5: Okay, what do immature men say when they're scared of commitment?
- 36:08Speaker 5: Jesus is calling me to a season of singleness.
- 36:12Speaker 1: Jesus, don't bring him into this talking about shifting, blame,
- 36:20Speaker 1: shifting blame. You know, you know in Monopoly, when you
- 36:24Speaker 1: get like you got to go to jail for like
- 36:26Speaker 1: three rounds and then you have a card and it's
- 36:27Speaker 1: like get out of jail free card. That's what these
- 36:30Speaker 1: men think they're playing. Yeah, it's not working.
- 36:33Speaker 5: Men are out here just playing monopoly.
- 36:35Speaker 1: Yeah, they're not very good at it though. They've got
- 36:38Speaker 1: all like the brown ones at the start, which are
- 36:40Speaker 1: like basically free. None of this mayfair bullshit. That's when girls.
- 36:43Speaker 5: Aren't building hotels men.
- 36:45Speaker 1: I'm building hotels. They're just paying rent, that's what they're doing.
- 36:50Speaker 1: There was a lot of these ones, and I think
- 36:52Speaker 1: these ones boil the blood the most. What do immature
- 36:56Speaker 1: men say when they're scared of commitment? I got a
- 36:58Speaker 1: lot going on at the moment. Yeah, just busy. I'm
- 37:02Speaker 1: just busy. Busy.
- 37:03Speaker 5: What I got work, that's forty hours?
- 37:06Speaker 1: Yeah, I got mates that works my gym too.
- 37:12Speaker 5: I got well, I saw so many that said, I'm
- 37:15Speaker 5: just too busy right now.
- 37:16Speaker 1: I've got work that's thirty eight forty hours, I've.
- 37:18Speaker 5: Got my mates, and I got footy.
- 37:19Speaker 1: I just don't know when I'm going to have time
- 37:22Speaker 1: what I think.
- 37:25Speaker 5: It's also just a thing of men again don't want
- 37:30Speaker 5: to be so that they want this reason right, so
- 37:33Speaker 5: they want this thing where they need to be able
- 37:37Speaker 5: to say something that makes it so. It's just all
- 37:41Speaker 5: good in the sense of, oh, I didn't just tell
- 37:44Speaker 5: her I don't actually want to be with her. I
- 37:48Speaker 5: could never say that I have one.
- 37:50Speaker 1: At the end, it's I can't type out all the
- 37:52Speaker 1: bs I've been told. Real men have no problems saying
- 37:55Speaker 1: they're not interested exactly. That's all you have to do.
- 37:59Speaker 1: I'm soorry, I'm just not interested. It's admirable to say
- 38:04Speaker 1: that too.
- 38:06Speaker 5: I mean, yeah, fuck, it's just it's.
- 38:08Speaker 1: An interesting thing. It's like, yeah, we these filler words
- 38:11Speaker 1: because we're trying to like protect their feelings, when in
- 38:14Speaker 1: reality it is breadcrumbing them and leading them on just
- 38:18Speaker 1: so you have that little little bit of a connection still,
- 38:20Speaker 1: so you can call them up and say you want
- 38:22Speaker 1: to have.
- 38:22Speaker 5: Sex, legit, And again it's just things like you know
- 38:26Speaker 5: you're too good for me.
- 38:28Speaker 1: Or I got one here. Ah, I'm really enjoying getting
- 38:33Speaker 1: to know you.
- 38:34Speaker 5: That's like what someone would say when say she says
- 38:38Speaker 5: to him, you know, what are we?
- 38:41Speaker 1: Where do you see this going?
- 38:43Speaker 5: Get out Jeffrey times, Oh, I'm really enjoying getting to
- 38:46Speaker 5: know you.
- 38:46Speaker 6: What That doesn't answer my question in the slightest.
- 38:49Speaker 1: Yeah, and the man's probably said that six months in facts,
- 38:58Speaker 1: it's been a year, but it's been a year.
- 39:05Speaker 5: You gave me a key to your house once.
- 39:09Speaker 1: What do immature men say that are scared a commitment?
- 39:13Speaker 1: I need to concentrate on me and have some alone time.
- 39:16Speaker 5: Fuck, bro, that is the worst thing because it's again,
- 39:20Speaker 5: how dare you then say like you can't be like,
- 39:24Speaker 5: oh my god, you led me on, you breadcrumbed me
- 39:26Speaker 5: because it's Hey, I'm trying to work on me.
- 39:29Speaker 1: You can't get mad at me for working on me.
- 39:31Speaker 1: That's insane. You should have figured that out before you
- 39:34Speaker 1: DM me and us to go on a date. Facts.
- 39:36Speaker 5: Yeah, simple, he's the one that's kind of like that.
- 39:40Speaker 5: I'm in a stage of self discovery.
- 39:42Speaker 1: I got my life is a mess right now.
- 39:51Speaker 5: It's just always gonna be. Oh, this one's fucked. What
- 39:57Speaker 5: two immature men say when they're scared of commitment. You
- 40:00Speaker 5: needing surgery is just really hard for me right now?
- 40:03Speaker 1: Wait what Wait? He's just gonna go so soon as.
- 40:07Speaker 5: You needing surgery is just really hard for me right now.
- 40:12Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, that one is so dumb. I've heard
- 40:15Speaker 1: stories like that before. As soon as like they need
- 40:18Speaker 1: that little bit of like someone to lean on when
- 40:20Speaker 1: they're going through fucking surgery. They disappeared about this one.
- 40:24Speaker 5: So I'm gonna go again. Can't we just live our
- 40:26Speaker 5: own lives and be happy when we're together?
- 40:32Speaker 1: Bread coming, bread comminge?
- 40:35Speaker 5: When I decide that we get to see each other,
- 40:37Speaker 5: can't we just be happier? Then that's audacity, and then
- 40:40Speaker 5: just live our own lives. Otherwise that's a definition of audacity.
- 40:42Speaker 5: A where do men find the audacity? I have a
- 40:46Speaker 5: funny story about audacity. Actually, I went and watched my
- 40:50Speaker 5: cousin's high Rocks on the weekend, like mental we were
- 40:53Speaker 5: leaving it though, and a guy I did see one
- 40:57Speaker 5: couple recognized me that and they were super nice, and
- 41:00Speaker 5: I was leaving and this guy looks at me and
- 41:02Speaker 5: he goes, bro, why do I recognize you?
- 41:06Speaker 1: It's like what He's like, why do I? And I was,
- 41:09Speaker 1: and I kind of was.
- 41:10Speaker 5: I was like, dude, you're asking me.
- 41:12Speaker 1: I didn't. I was I don't want to feed it
- 41:13Speaker 1: to you.
- 41:14Speaker 5: But I was like, maybe TikTok and he goes, yeah,
- 41:15Speaker 5: yeah yeah. And then I get home and I had
- 41:17Speaker 5: a message in my request on Instagram and he goes,
- 41:20Speaker 5: oh my god, I can't believe I just said you today.
- 41:22Speaker 1: Why do I know you?
- 41:23Speaker 5: And he goes, I don't know where I had the audacity,
- 41:25Speaker 5: but I hope you had a good day.
- 41:26Speaker 6: And I was like, hey, this guy is unaccountable, okay,
- 41:32Speaker 6: And it's funny because he goes, I don't know where
- 41:34Speaker 6: I have found.
- 41:36Speaker 1: That is funny. I thought I was going to go
- 41:38Speaker 1: the other way. Yeah, but he goes, why do I
- 41:42Speaker 1: know you? You just I don't know that's happened before.
- 41:47Speaker 1: It's tired, because it's not like we want to go
- 41:50Speaker 1: a podcast. Yeah I know have a podcast. I actually
- 41:54Speaker 1: have a podcast. You've probably seen my podcast. Oh you've
- 41:58Speaker 1: probably seen me on the interwere you should you should
- 42:05Speaker 1: be one of those dudes with audacity and be like, oh,
- 42:07Speaker 1: it's probably from my nine hundred thousand followers. Yeah, yeah,
- 42:11Speaker 1: and show him probably from this man. You know, it's
- 42:15Speaker 1: a full time gig, full buy a badge, pull up
- 42:19Speaker 1: your portfolio. It's probably one of these things. I'm gonna
- 42:22Speaker 1: I'm gonna buy a hat that says, yes I am
- 42:23Speaker 1: that guy. Come stay high, Come say I got one more?
- 42:31Speaker 1: What do immature men say that a scared of commitment?
- 42:34Speaker 1: Let's keep this on the DL.
- 42:37Speaker 5: That's crazy, Let's keep us on the download because I'm embarrassed.
- 42:40Speaker 1: Yeah. I've always said, like, for some reason when we're
- 42:44Speaker 1: growing up, people used to say, who had sex? Let
- 42:46Speaker 1: let's just keep this between us. Let's keep this on
- 42:48Speaker 1: the d L. What's for the don't kiss and tell thing? Yeah,
- 42:52Speaker 1: And if you want to have sex with someone and
- 42:55Speaker 1: say that, don't have fucking sex with them, own it.
- 42:57Speaker 5: Yeah. I'm just trying to think of me proud if
- 43:00Speaker 5: I had a one night stand with a someone of
- 43:05Speaker 5: the female agenda and the next morning they said, hohld, look,
- 43:08Speaker 5: can we just keep some down like I'd.
- 43:11Speaker 1: Like, I'm sure, but also am I that? Yeah? That's
- 43:16Speaker 1: for the people who think with their downstairs, I reckon yeah,
- 43:19Speaker 1: and then the next morning they're regretting it.
- 43:21Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 43:21Speaker 5: I don't think i've actually I haven't said to someone.
- 43:24Speaker 1: Can we keep something down? Why I haven't. I've always
- 43:26Speaker 1: thought that was weird. Yeah, it's like I'm a shamed
- 43:29Speaker 1: that of what I just did. Like gus, I got lucky,
- 43:32Speaker 1: let's go. Yeah, like obviously don't go and kiss and
- 43:34Speaker 1: tell everyone I like walking back, Yeah I just smashed
- 43:37Speaker 1: some and so yeah yeah yeah, yeah, but your mates
- 43:40Speaker 1: just be like, yeah.
- 43:41Speaker 5: Yeah, what's wrong with doing something that you made a
- 43:43Speaker 5: choice to do it? And then when someone asks you
- 43:45Speaker 5: say no, no, no, no, I won't kiss.
- 43:47Speaker 1: Yeah, that's no confusing. Yeah, it's kind of like it's
- 43:53Speaker 1: almost like you cheated.
- 43:56Speaker 5: It gets reminiscent of someone that would ask let's keep
- 43:59Speaker 5: us on the d L. Is someone that is cheating
- 44:01Speaker 5: on a girlfriend or a boyfriend. Yeah, but that's what
- 44:03Speaker 5: I would think of when when you're fully single and
- 44:08Speaker 5: just out having fun and you ask someone to keep
- 44:10Speaker 5: it on the d L.
- 44:12Speaker 1: Why. We have one mate who used to always do it.
- 44:15Speaker 1: Yeah it was because he did it though, because he
- 44:17Speaker 1: was like talking to a girl. I don't think she
- 44:21Speaker 1: really knew they were talking, so he would tell me
- 44:25Speaker 1: that they're talking and then don't tell anyone, but because
- 44:29Speaker 1: if it got back to her, she'd probably run. Yeah.
- 44:33Speaker 5: Also, what was with when we were a bit younger
- 44:37Speaker 5: and we would start talking to someone in a so
- 44:42Speaker 5: we're talking about the other week? How we call it tuning,
- 44:44Speaker 5: But now it's just you know, we're talking. When you
- 44:46Speaker 5: start talking to someone where you know, it's a bit
- 44:48Speaker 5: of romance involved in the sense that you have feelings
- 44:50Speaker 5: for them, you have a little crush, you want take
- 44:51Speaker 5: them on a date. I remember when we were younger
- 44:55Speaker 5: at school, maybe you'd bring your.
- 44:57Speaker 1: Best mate aside. You know, I'm talking to blah blah blah.
- 44:59Speaker 1: But gep on, why why I keep it from DL
- 45:03Speaker 1: In that whole era, I had a girlfriend and I
- 45:06Speaker 1: couldn't even talk to at lunch because I was too scarce.
- 45:12Speaker 1: I remember having a girlfriend in year six.
- 45:16Speaker 6: And before we before I asked her to be my girlfriend,
- 45:20Speaker 6: I was we would message on kick kick, we'd message
- 45:25Speaker 6: on kick and then I don't know, and then we
- 45:31Speaker 6: at school would always talk and then.
- 45:33Speaker 5: One day ask her to be my girlfriend. Didn't say
- 45:36Speaker 5: a word to her in person since for three months.
- 45:40Speaker 5: I didn't say a word to her in person.
- 45:41Speaker 1: I remember my year six girlfriend, I didn't talk to
- 45:45Speaker 1: her either, and it was Easter and I bought her
- 45:48Speaker 1: an Easter bunny, but I didn't have the balls to
- 45:50Speaker 1: talk to her, so I just dropped it on her
- 45:52Speaker 1: bag and then ran away. What time the girlfriend had
- 45:59Speaker 1: your six? One time we.
- 46:00Speaker 5: Both went out to check out backpack or something for
- 46:03Speaker 5: a book maybe, and so there's no one else out
- 46:05Speaker 5: in the hall, and it was it was a situation
- 46:08Speaker 5: where you know, we're boyfriend and girlfriend, boyfriend and girlfriend
- 46:13Speaker 5: in quotations, but we looked at each other and just thought, fuck,
- 46:18Speaker 5: we actually have to talk right now. So I just
- 46:22Speaker 5: remember she just goes, oh, hey, and I was like hey,
- 46:25Speaker 5: and then she just walked back into class and I
- 46:26Speaker 5: was like, this is the best day ever. And then
- 46:31Speaker 5: one time, I remember in year six, there was a
- 46:35Speaker 5: couple couple, a couple couples, and a couple of them
- 46:39Speaker 5: would have a cheeky little first kiss, like a little
- 46:42Speaker 5: pack and.
- 46:42Speaker 1: There was a whole crowd around here. Yeah, at like lunch.
- 46:46Speaker 5: And then one time me and my girlfriend were in
- 46:49Speaker 5: the same area and someone goes like, why don't you
- 46:53Speaker 5: guys do it and someone goes, why don't you just
- 46:55Speaker 5: at least hug?
- 46:57Speaker 1: I was like, what the fuck is going on? And
- 47:00Speaker 1: she goes, oh, yeah, I could give them my hugs.
- 47:02Speaker 5: You came out, gave me a hug, just like walked
- 47:03Speaker 5: back to the other side of the circle.
- 47:05Speaker 1: I was like, what's going on right now?
- 47:07Speaker 2: Bro?
- 47:07Speaker 5: Thinking back on it is hilarious.
- 47:09Speaker 1: I remember in year seven I had that scenario too,
- 47:11Speaker 1: where I was dating a girl. Everyone's like kiss. Yeah,
- 47:17Speaker 1: like we're in a fight. But what in the world
- 47:21Speaker 1: do you go through? You know what it's like. Now
- 47:24Speaker 1: they probably just like message each other. They probably don't
- 47:26Speaker 1: even like communicate at lunch, but we I didn't, who knows,
- 47:30Speaker 1: who knows?
- 47:32Speaker 5: Very funny, it's probably so different.
- 47:34Speaker 1: What a time to be alive. I feel old batties.
- 47:44Speaker 5: Before we get into dilemmas.
- 47:46Speaker 1: I just have something to say.
- 47:49Speaker 5: We're looking pretty bloody close to doing a live show
- 47:51Speaker 5: right about now.
- 47:52Speaker 1: Yeah, you guys are kind of like turning up too much.
- 47:54Speaker 5: Yeah, you guys are trying to go quicker than we anticipated.
- 47:57Speaker 1: Chill out a little bit.
- 47:59Speaker 5: No, no, no, make it quicker, is what I'm trying
- 48:01Speaker 5: to say. So Patreon forward slash relatables dot com.
- 48:05Speaker 1: I assume takes you there.
- 48:07Speaker 5: I don't know, maybe hopefully anyway, the description links in
- 48:10Speaker 5: the description. If you want an extra episode every Thursday,

- 48:39Speaker 5: a little tight on coin. If we get ten thousand
- 48:42Speaker 5: reviews on Spotify, hope preferably five stars.
- 48:46Speaker 1: Yeah, whatever you If you feel like the show doesn't
- 48:48Speaker 1: deserve it, then whatever, say it with full chest. I
- 48:50Speaker 1: don't want to hear it.
- 48:52Speaker 5: But if we get ten thousand reviews, we'll also do
- 48:54Speaker 5: a live show so which everyone comes.
- 48:55Speaker 1: First care and the thousand members looks like it might
- 48:59Speaker 1: become Well, yesterday we had I think seven hundred and
- 49:01Speaker 1: thirty paid members, and then this morning Oddie sent me
- 49:03Speaker 1: a thing with seven hundred and eighty eights. It's pretty quick.
- 49:06Speaker 1: We might have to start planning. That's crazy, yer, But also,
- 49:12Speaker 1: we love you all. We love you.
- 49:13Speaker 5: Okay, time for dilemmas. This is titled should I confess
- 49:16Speaker 5: my feelings to my guy? Best friend?
- 49:20Speaker 1: I've known him?
- 49:21Speaker 5: No, I've known him for close to two years. We
- 49:25Speaker 5: met a friend, so we met at a friend's dinner
- 49:27Speaker 5: party where I got really sick and ended up in
- 49:30Speaker 5: the er, and he stayed with me the entire time.
- 49:33Speaker 5: We became instant friends, but initially hung out as a trio.
- 49:36Speaker 5: Eventually we started hanging out alone. He'd picked me up
- 49:40Speaker 5: from my apartment every day and we'd walk to university together,
- 49:43Speaker 5: go on nightly strolls that would last hours, and just
- 49:46Speaker 5: hang out. At this point, I didn't like him, and
- 49:49Speaker 5: I didn't think he liked me. His ex girlfriend, who
- 49:52Speaker 5: cheated on him, was close with some of my friends.
- 49:55Speaker 5: He was quite messed up from that entire experience. Four
- 49:58Speaker 5: months ago, out of nowhere, he ghosts our entire friend group.
- 50:03Speaker 5: To say I was devastated was an understatement. I cried
- 50:07Speaker 5: for days, but eventually got over it. At this point,
- 50:11Speaker 5: I realized that I liked him and just buried the
- 50:14Speaker 5: feelings because I was so hurt over how he basically
- 50:17Speaker 5: just blocked me everywhere. My friends and I started calling
- 50:21Speaker 5: him worm Tail because well, he's a traitor like Peter Pettigrew.
- 50:26Speaker 5: About a month ago, I found out from our mutual
- 50:29Speaker 5: friend that he asked her if I had feelings for him,
- 50:31Speaker 5: and she told him no without even asking me. I
- 50:36Speaker 5: was upset all over again, and I'm considering confessing because
- 50:40Speaker 5: another guy friend of mine made me realize that our
- 50:44Speaker 5: relationship was never platonic. He said, no guy wakes up
- 50:48Speaker 5: an hour early to walk to UNI with just anyone
- 50:52Speaker 5: nor reads one hundred and fifty thousand words of Draco
- 50:55Speaker 5: and Malfoy slash Hermione fan fiction for their girl best
- 50:58Speaker 5: friend facts. Wait, why is Draco and I guess it's.
- 51:04Speaker 1: A fan fiction? Who cares?
- 51:06Speaker 5: Draco and Hermione wouldn't never have sex our schedule it's
- 51:10Speaker 5: too hot ones. Our schedule changed, and now we have
- 51:15Speaker 5: rotations together. We're both third year med students, and I'm
- 51:19Speaker 5: spending hours with him every day and he's acting like
- 51:22Speaker 5: he didn't ghost me for four months and nothing happened.
- 51:25Speaker 5: He wants to go on walks again and talk about sopranos,
- 51:28Speaker 5: like nothing happened. Should I confess I like him? And
- 51:31Speaker 5: if so, how do I do that? Because I've only
- 51:33Speaker 5: ever had men approach me, not the other way around.
- 51:37Speaker 5: Sorry for the rant, but this is legit driving me
- 51:39Speaker 5: crazy and I can't focus on my exams. I love
- 51:42Speaker 5: the pod and we'd love to hear guy's opinion. We
- 51:47Speaker 5: love a confession. Little do you guys know that was
- 51:51Speaker 5: not just a dilemma but also a confession.
- 51:54Speaker 1: Girls and guys can never just be best friends. Yeah. Ever,
- 52:00Speaker 1: and this guy has ghosted you because I bet he
- 52:04Speaker 1: was falling more and more in love with you but
- 52:08Speaker 1: didn't feel like you felt the same way. So the
- 52:10Speaker 1: best thing for him to do was take a step away.
- 52:12Speaker 1: He was too scared, and you were also too scared
- 52:15Speaker 1: to say anything, so you're in the same boat. The
- 52:17Speaker 1: answer is simple, Tell this man that you want to
- 52:19Speaker 1: fall deeply in love with him, Go and make it
- 52:22Speaker 1: like a movie. Yeah, it's right there for you both
- 52:26Speaker 1: to take. It will be the best story ever. It happened.
- 52:29Speaker 1: She said, like, how do I do it. You should
- 52:31Speaker 1: go up to him. Yeah, okay, we're in med schools
- 52:33Speaker 1: were he's smart, lab coats on.
- 52:35Speaker 5: Graz a grazing out of me hard. I never really
- 52:38Speaker 5: watched that show, but I know it's just doctors doing
- 52:40Speaker 5: surgery and then fucking yeah, do something great out of me.
- 52:43Speaker 1: You're just in the lab with him, dissecting a rat
- 52:45Speaker 1: or whatever you do, and then you walk out, grab
- 52:48Speaker 1: his hand, pull him around and be like, James, I've
- 52:52Speaker 1: liked you this whole time. And she'll be like, no
- 52:55Speaker 1: one's going to do this. What was this crazy? So
- 52:57Speaker 1: like a fucking movie that wouldn't even happen in a movie.
- 53:00Speaker 5: You can go to like his apartment especial rocks at
- 53:02Speaker 5: the window or some shit, and with like with a
- 53:04Speaker 5: speaker over your head.
- 53:05Speaker 1: I was going to say, he was going to say,
- 53:08Speaker 1: in front of everyone, just fucking grab his hand and
- 53:10Speaker 1: spin him around while they're horny. After dissecting the rats,
- 53:14Speaker 1: you said, I'm just connecting all the dots. You said,
- 53:17Speaker 1: Gray's anatomy, They fucking do some surgeries, and then they
- 53:19Speaker 1: have sex. I just said those three things, and now
- 53:22Speaker 1: you're saying what you were meant to go with me,
- 53:28Speaker 1: James was gonna say, I should have called him Draco,
- 53:30Speaker 1: but let's call him Draco. Was going to be like,
- 53:33Speaker 1: she just grabbed his hand in back, Commione, I like
- 53:35Speaker 1: you do. Let's do something with Harry Potter.
- 53:38Speaker 5: Well, he's the one that read you one hundred and
- 53:40Speaker 5: fifty thousand words thing crazy. By the way, it's a
- 53:42Speaker 5: lot of words. One hundred and fifty thousand words of
- 53:44Speaker 5: Draco and Hermione fan fiction. How do you loop this in?
- 53:50Speaker 1: What a spell? Or look up if he knows look
- 53:53Speaker 1: up for spell? Then make someone fall in love with
- 53:56Speaker 1: you on Harry Potter and then say it to him
- 53:58Speaker 1: with a Wand that's funny.
- 54:02Speaker 5: My next thing is how far is his apartment from
- 54:06Speaker 5: your apartment? If it's not far, all right, fat, shut
- 54:12Speaker 5: the fucker.
- 54:14Speaker 1: I'm saying, is what you do? Okay? This could be
- 54:17Speaker 1: absolutely insane, but it's funny.
- 54:22Speaker 5: You go, Okay, he's just walking at this point in time.
- 54:28Speaker 5: I'm going to tell it in this order, so so
- 54:30Speaker 5: I don't give it away to you either. So you're
- 54:32Speaker 5: at home right now, Okay. So he walks in his
- 54:35Speaker 5: door and he sees on his bed. I don't know
- 54:37Speaker 5: how you got it in there. Figure it out.
- 54:39Speaker 1: You got to get it into his room.
- 54:40Speaker 5: Basically, he sees a note and a Draco Malfoy costume. Okay,
- 54:48Speaker 5: and the note says, I don't know, come get hermione,
- 54:51Speaker 5: big boy, and then your address and he knows you're
- 54:55Speaker 5: just anyway, but whatever.
- 54:56Speaker 8: And then you're at your house dressed up as hermione
- 54:58Speaker 8: and he just comes indoor AM's open, bro.
- 55:04Speaker 1: And you, guys, we don't have to tell you the spells.
- 55:06Speaker 1: He's got one. He says some spell like get on
- 55:08Speaker 1: your knees or something I don't know. And then and
- 55:10Speaker 1: then if he doesn't come, go back to his house.
- 55:14Speaker 1: Expelling dead. Yeah, almost the kill one too.
- 55:21Speaker 5: I think expelling armis is just like disarm your opponent.
- 55:25Speaker 1: I'm sure disarm the close. But basically tell him without scenarios,
- 55:37Speaker 1: you could say absolutely anything and it will work, because
- 55:40Speaker 1: he's in love with.
- 55:40Speaker 5: You, girl, and he has the fact that he is
- 55:45Speaker 5: just so he ghosted you because it was too hard
- 55:48Speaker 5: to talk to you and he was too much of
- 55:49Speaker 5: a baby to tell you his feelings.
- 55:51Speaker 1: Right. Well, he didn't think that she liked him back.
- 55:53Speaker 5: Yeah, no exactly, But now that you have these classes together,
- 55:57Speaker 5: it's just all come flooding back, and he wants it.
- 56:01Speaker 1: He can't help the emotions. He wants it to go.
- 56:04Speaker 1: Get it all right, guys. Next dilemma. Hey guys, I
- 56:08Speaker 1: just want to say I love the pod and the
- 56:09Speaker 1: Baddies book Club. You guys are amazing. Thank you very much. Anyways,
- 56:14Speaker 1: here's my dilemma. I have been with my boyfriend for
- 56:17Speaker 1: almost two years in August. I absolutely love him and
- 56:20Speaker 1: want to marry him. He's really the guy of my dreams. However,
- 56:24Speaker 1: didn't use it butt however. Smart About a few months ago,
- 56:29Speaker 1: he told me he wanted to stop having sex with me.
- 56:33Speaker 1: I was super confused because he never really had any
- 56:36Speaker 1: issues with it before for the entire year and a
- 56:38Speaker 1: half we'd been with each other, and he hasn't been
- 56:40Speaker 1: acting any different or acting like he doesn't want to
- 56:43Speaker 1: be with me. We are planning on moving in soon, too,
- 56:46Speaker 1: so I asked him why this was the case, and
- 56:48Speaker 1: he just said he was scared of me being pregnant
- 56:51Speaker 1: and if we live together it would be different. Months
- 56:54Speaker 1: go by, and we still do other things together like
- 56:57Speaker 1: oral for play and all that other st just not penetration.
- 57:01Speaker 1: Any who. A few weeks ago, he comes to me
- 57:04Speaker 1: and tells me he no longer wants to do other
- 57:06Speaker 1: stuff with me. He only wants to kiss me, but
- 57:08Speaker 1: he doesn't want to do anything sexual at all. He's
- 57:11Speaker 1: even hesitated to touch me in any way that is
- 57:13Speaker 1: in my hands or my waist. And he tells me
- 57:16Speaker 1: the reason is because he wants to strengthen his relationship
- 57:19Speaker 1: with God, and he feels guilty when he does things
- 57:22Speaker 1: with me. He's never been a super godly type person,
- 57:26Speaker 1: so I don't understand where this is coming from. Only
- 57:28Speaker 1: thing we do is like go to church. We aren't
- 57:31Speaker 1: super religiously motivated at all. Full stop? Am I an
- 57:36Speaker 1: asshole for wanting to sleep with my boyfriend and holding
- 57:39Speaker 1: him from, in quotes, strengthening his relationship with God? He
- 57:44Speaker 1: told me he wanted to read the Bible and pray more,
- 57:46Speaker 1: and I have yet to see him pick up the
- 57:48Speaker 1: Bible even just once. What should I do? Thanks so much?
- 57:51Speaker 1: I hope to hear from you guys. Tough one.
- 57:55Speaker 5: It's a little hard a because I, I mean, yeah,
- 58:00Speaker 5: religious at all, so I don't really know what it's.
- 58:02Speaker 1: Like answer coming from two completely non religious dudes.
- 58:07Speaker 5: Are we considered atheists?
- 58:11Speaker 1: I guess so I don't actually one. I'm not baptized.
- 58:13Speaker 1: I'm not bad my brother is. I'm not. Damn, you're filthy,
- 58:18Speaker 1: dirty guy. I'm a Muggle. I muggle.
- 58:21Speaker 5: Yeah, that would mean you're also half wizard. No, muggles
- 58:26Speaker 5: are just humans.
- 58:26Speaker 1: I thought all my terminologies were wrong. Yeah, muggles are
- 58:29Speaker 1: just humans. Yeah muggle right, yeah you are just We're
- 58:31Speaker 1: both just two muggles about to help this baddie out.
- 58:34Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't actually know. Okay, side note, this is
- 58:37Speaker 5: not I hope there's nothing to do. No similarities in
- 58:41Speaker 5: your story. Basically, we have a friend that went through
- 58:43Speaker 5: something semi similar where the whole his whole relationship, his
- 58:47Speaker 5: girlfriend was part of a religion but didn't practice it
- 58:50Speaker 5: strictly right, and then randomly she started talking about wanting
- 58:53Speaker 5: to start practicing it more strictly, which would mean no
- 58:56Speaker 5: more sex, you know, waiting till marriage and type stuff
- 58:59Speaker 5: like that.
- 58:59Speaker 1: Turn Out she was cheating on him the whole time.
- 59:03Speaker 5: It's fucking heavy. Yeah, I I hope that it's doesn't.
- 59:06Speaker 5: That's not what's happening, obviously, But because you know, you
- 59:09Speaker 5: know your boyfriend better than we do, because we don't
- 59:12Speaker 5: know him at all.
- 59:12Speaker 1: Yeah, I want to say there's something in he hasn't
- 59:16Speaker 1: picked up the Bible, Like why go to the fullest
- 59:20Speaker 1: extent and say no more sex but he won't even
- 59:22Speaker 1: read a few verses every night or something. It is interesting.
- 59:26Speaker 5: Yeah, I'd say that this is a situation of how
- 59:28Speaker 5: you were saying, you know you love him, you want
- 59:31Speaker 5: you want this to be the man you marry.
- 59:34Speaker 1: I think you just have to sit down and have
- 59:35Speaker 1: a chat with him, like, okay, start of the relationship,
- 59:37Speaker 1: this was the case.
- 59:38Speaker 5: Yeah, And to be fair, you probably didn't if you
- 59:43Speaker 5: didn't know at the time that you want to strengthen
- 59:44Speaker 5: your relationship with God. That's cool. Now we need to
- 59:47Speaker 5: have a serious chat about this, all right, because this
- 59:48Speaker 5: is a massive change. There's going to be sacrifices that
- 59:51Speaker 5: need to be made or we're gonna have to fucking
- 59:53Speaker 5: go our separate ways exactly.
- 59:55Speaker 1: And for you, like, you can respect his decision, but
- 59:59Speaker 1: also it's completely fair that you leave because of this.
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: If you want to, you're gonna put yourself first. Yeah,
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: And like it's completely up to him what he does
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: and honorable what he's doing. But also people are allowed
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: to change, so what he's doing is completely fine. I
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: guess this needs to be more of a more communication
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: and sit down and make the decision. Then you also
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: have to make the decision do you want to be
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: celibate until marriage? Completely fine? If you don't, it's not
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: your decision to be re You're not your relationship with
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: God exactly. It's his journey. And like you went into
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: it together having sex, so that's what you thought you
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: were going to get out of it. And it's weird
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: when you add sex into this situation. It sort of
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: sounds slightly shallow, I guess, But also who cares? Sex
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: is fine, it's the fundamentals of a relationship.
- 1:00:42Speaker 5: I don't think it's shallow when you go from having
- 1:00:44Speaker 5: sex to someone saying I don't want to do it
- 1:00:45Speaker 5: toil marriage now, sorry, I want to strengthen my relationship
- 1:00:48Speaker 5: with God.
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: Also strengthening your relationship with God.
- 1:00:51Speaker 5: All the stories that I've heard about God is that
- 1:00:53Speaker 5: he seems to be pretty unforgiving for some reason, and
- 1:00:56Speaker 5: I don't know why, but I could be wrong again
- 1:01:01Speaker 5: and not really just but for some reason. The vibe
- 1:01:03Speaker 5: I get is that he is unforgiving and that all
- 1:01:05Speaker 5: of his priests are also unforgiving. So if you've had
- 1:01:08Speaker 5: sex now, you're.
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: Too far gone. True. I could be wrong again, but
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: that's the vibe I get. Also, send me bad talking
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: about vibes, send me bad vibe. He firstly said, I
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: don't want to impregnate you. Pregnate, impregnate you, impregnate, impregnate you.
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: And then he said the god thing, is there something
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: else going on? I don't know something's going on. Yeah,
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: you just need to get the truth out of him. Simply.
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: The answer is have the conversation. You can respect what
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: he's doing move on, or respect what you're doing and
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: be by his side. Both are solutions that no one
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: would judge you for.
- 1:01:42Speaker 6: No.
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: Yeah, I just put yourself first. Yeah, I'll forget that,
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: all right, baddies. Before we end the episode, we both
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: really just want to thank everyone for the support recently.
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: It's been going amazingly. It's been awesome, absolutely awesome. And
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: right now we're going to read out some comments. So
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: if you want to get your comment read, all you
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: have to do is comment below, and we picked them
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: randomly every single week. I've got one from Clara. You
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: guys are awesome. As an American, I love hearing about
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: your life in Australia. I discovered you a week ago,
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: go and have binged twenty episodes already.
- 1:02:21Speaker 4: Damn.
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: I hope you get this song on the radio. Let's go,
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: thank you. I'll got one from Serene's Life.
- 1:02:28Speaker 5: They gave a time stamp thirty four sorry, thirty two
- 1:02:31Speaker 5: minutes forty seconds. And that was when I said Hill
- 1:02:34Speaker 5: was willing to die on people that say expresso instead
- 1:02:37Speaker 5: of espresso. They said, people who say et cetera instead
- 1:02:43Speaker 5: of etcetera, and then Audi two minutes later said etc.
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: Can you say it's etcetera? Say buried the way you
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: just said it? No, you said how you'd say it.
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: I'm gonna go out and I'm going to bury.
- 1:02:58Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: You say you say Berry a very name.
- 1:03:02Speaker 7: Yea.
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: I swear you just said it like that though.
- 1:03:06Speaker 5: Okay, I got another good one here, Hill, I'm willing
- 1:03:10Speaker 5: to die on. This is someone commenting from Kiara. By
- 1:03:13Speaker 5: the way, Kiara burn Hill.
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: I'm willing to die on.
- 1:03:16Speaker 5: It's Rice and not Reese for Resand she says riceand
- 1:03:22Speaker 5: not resand someone goes, must be a lonely Hill because
- 1:03:24Speaker 5: it's definitely Resand.
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: Sorry, girl, I got one from Emma. I've been listening
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: to your songs multiple times a day since they were released.
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: No Way, let's go.
- 1:03:37Speaker 5: Last one from Martha Marcha is grinded up tea leaves
- 1:03:41Speaker 5: for the most part. Ask them to sweeten it with honey.
- 1:03:43Speaker 5: If it's not pre sweetened, how about no.
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: Basically tip but still taste with some money in it.
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: I had one here. No Marcha is so healthy and young.
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: Nor it's time to call one of the badies. If
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: you want to sign off one of these episodes, all
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: you have to do is it's pinned in the description,
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: fill it out, and we call one of you randomly.
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: Today we're calling Violet. Let's go be on a break
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: your violets. Hi, Hi, Violet, it's already And Jake from
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: the Rolados podcast, how are you going?
- 1:04:21Speaker 6: Oh my god, let's go, Violet.
- 1:04:27Speaker 3: I have been waiting for this.
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: Have you been sitting next to the phone since you've submitted?
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: You actually got in because you've done it as double submit.
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: I don't know if you did that on purpose, but
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: it's planned to your advance. I was like, she's keen,
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: she's going to pick up. Oh my god, But Violet,
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: we would like to ask if you could please sign
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: off the episode. You can do it in any way
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: you see fit. You can say stay bad, some advice,
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: you can roast Jake, roast me, whatever you want to do.
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: The floor is yours.
- 1:05:00Speaker 3: I'm signing off. Can I say, like a song.
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: That everyone should listen to after?
- 1:05:04Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, everyone needs to listen to I love it.
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: It's the song of the week. It's so good bye
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: Charli x x X. I wish you could play it
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: on him, but we're not allowed. We'll play it on Patriot.
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: Thanks so much, Violet.
- 1:05:20Speaker 6: Have a good day.
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: Oh my god, thank you guys.
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: Bye bye, but stay back. Guys. We love you.
