- 0:07and our Father forever to be glorified and praised in the
- 0:11highest. We love you, King Jesus.
- 0:13Come, Father, come and fill us overflowing.
- 0:17God, help us, Lord, to love our neighbors as ourselves.
- 0:21Help us to love you with all of our heart and mind and strength
- 0:24and soul body. God, all of our mind, will and
- 0:27emotions bent towards you and your goodness and your grace and
- 0:31your love. Father, I pray in the name of
- 0:33Jesus today that we will go out into the highways and the
- 0:37hedges, out into the harvest, God, and snatch those fire
- 0:41brands God out, Lord. And I pray, Lord, that you'll
- 0:45clothe them in your righteousness, God and your
- 0:48glory. Father, I pray that you will
- 0:51save to the utmost. God, I pray for healing over our
- 0:57bodies. God heal Lord limbs and heal
- 1:04hearts and heal minds. God heal Lord organs.
- 1:09Father. God, drive out any unclean
- 1:15impure spirit from off of us in the name of Jesus Christ.
- 1:20I pray, Father, that you Lord, will come and be well pleased to
- 1:26and dwell us in the fullness. Let us radiate your glory, God.
- 1:34Burnout, anything that does not belong, anything within this
- 1:37temple, God, burn it out, Father.
- 1:40I pray, Lord, that will be polished and refined and Lord,
- 1:49that we will mirror your image, Father.
- 1:57I pray, Father, that we do not keep going back to our vomit.
- 2:01God. I pray in the name of Jesus that
- 2:03we don't keep going back into bondage.
- 2:07Lord, I pray, Father, that we can turn our eyes and our ears
- 2:13away from all the things that are dragging us away from your
- 2:17goodness and your fullness and your glory and your mercy.
- 2:20Father, I pray, Lord, for grace to abound.
- 2:24God, I pray in the name of Jesus that you'll help us, Lord, to be
- 2:28holy because you are holy. Father, open up our eyes and our
- 2:36ears to Your words today. Help us to see them fresh and
- 2:41new. Help us, Lord, to see that
- 2:45You're working mightily today all around us.
- 2:50Lord, help us to get into the fight.
- 2:51Help us to get in to Your purposes and plans for us in our
- 2:56lives. Lord, help us not to be cowards.
- 3:00Help us not to shrink back. Help us to be bold in our faith
- 3:04today and to tell people about what you have done for us.
- 3:08Lord Maranatha, come. Lord, come.
- 3:17I decrease as you increase. Holy Spirit, teach us your
- 3:21eternal paths. We're acknowledging you today.
- 3:25Direct us, help us not to miss out on what God has for us
- 3:30today. Jesus Christ be exalted.
- 3:35The name above all names. We love you and it's in your
- 3:37holy and precious name that I pray Amen.
- 3:44Well, let's start in verse one. And you has he quickened who
- 3:52were dead in trespasses and sins.
- 3:56So God, when he places the Holy Spirit inside of you, he makes
- 4:02you come alive. Friends, this quickening in the
- 4:05inner man, you no longer see the world all around you the way
- 4:10that you used to. You no longer hear the things
- 4:13like you used to. Everything becomes fresh and
- 4:17new. Everything becomes alive and you
- 4:19see the world around you through the lens of Jesus Christ and all
- 4:24of His words and what He told us and how we should go and all of
- 4:29the Beatitudes. Friends, we see the world
- 4:32through the lens of His glory and that is what is referenced
- 4:38here. We were once dead in our
- 4:41trespasses and sins. We had crossed the line, We had
- 4:45missed the mark. But God and His infinite love
- 4:49and glory and wisdom, he snatched us out, and He put a
- 4:54new heart and a new mind in US. And now we do not see the world
- 4:58around us the way that we used to.
- 5:01Verse 2 Wherein in times past you walked according to the
- 5:08course of this world, according to the Prince of the power of
- 5:14the air, the spirit that now works in the children of
- 5:20disobedience. He is the father of lies.
- 5:25Satan has no power over God's children.
- 5:30Friends, we can have victory in Christ.
- 5:33We can have victory and being covered in the blood of Jesus
- 5:36Christ and Paul wants us to remember where we came from so
- 5:40that we do not become prideful and arrogant, self-righteous.
- 5:48We need to remember that we were once those people who were led
- 5:54off into bondage and slavery and sin and self.
- 5:59We do not need to become so pious that we forget to become
- 6:03level with the gravel friends. We need to be relevant to our
- 6:09neighbors. We do not need to seem so
- 6:12unattainable through all of our spiritual platitudes.
- 6:16We do not need to try and act as if we are better than others.
- 6:21Just remember that you were once dead and you were once lost, and
- 6:27you were once separated, but God in His grace saved you through
- 6:34faith. We'll talk about that three
- 6:38among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in
- 6:45the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the
- 6:50flesh and of the mind, and were by nature the children of wrath,
- 6:57even as others. We had a sin nature from birth,
- 7:00friends, and we do not need to try and explain that away.
- 7:07It is there. And children by default need to
- 7:12be taught how to tell the truth. They need to be taught how to
- 7:16not be selfish and we need to teach them in the ways of Christ
- 7:23and we were once like little children, but when I was a child
- 7:27I reasoned as a child, I thought as a child I spoke as a child,
- 7:30but when I became a man I did away with childish things
- 7:34friends. And that is taking off the old
- 7:36man and putting on the new creation and get being given the
- 7:41mind of Christ and that is what is referenced here.
- 7:44We were once like them, and we need to be merciful and we need
- 7:51to let grace abound into those camps that are still stuck in
- 7:55the sin patterns. We do not need to just build
- 7:58little country clubs up on a hill and lock the doors, sit in
- 8:04a circle and sing Kumbaya. We need to be found out in the
- 8:08hardest darkest places, shining the light and pouring salt in
- 8:13the wounds for but God, who is rich in mercy for His great love
- 8:29wherewith He loved us. So that is how we got here.
- 8:33It's through His love. He loved us when we were still
- 8:36sinning, and we do not even know love unless we know God.
- 8:40And God is love and He loved us and He chose us and he
- 8:45predestined us and he brought us into the fold.
- 8:49And all we can do is say Hallelujah, praise God Almighty.
- 8:565 even when we were dead in sins, has quickened us together
- 9:02with Christ. By grace you are saved.
- 9:07That is what you need to understand.
- 9:10It is not anything that you have ever done that earns your
- 9:14salvation. It is everything that Christ did
- 9:17for us 2000 years ago on the cross, when he was beaten and
- 9:22when he was mocked and his beard was plucked out and he did not
- 9:27even resemble a man. And there was nothing to draw us
- 9:31to him. And he was whipped and scourged,
- 9:34and the nails were driven through his hands and his feet,
- 9:38and he was asphyxiated on the cross, and it was hard for Him
- 9:43to take take another breath as fluid entered into the lungs.
- 9:48Friends, He saved us even when we could not save ourselves.
- 9:57And it is grace, friends, nothing that we've ever done.
- 10:01It is a free gift, but we must open it up. 6 And he has raised
- 10:08us up together and made us sit together in heavenly places in
- 10:15Christ Jesus. That is how we are seated with
- 10:18Him in heavenly places. It is in Christ Jesus.
- 10:22He's the boat. Get in the boat, friends.
- 10:24It's about to start raining, Friends.
- 10:27He's the boat. We've got to get into it,
- 10:29friends. And the second destruction comes
- 10:32by fire, seven, that in the ages to come he might show the
- 10:42exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness towards us through
- 10:52Christ Jesus. So God desired through the
- 10:55sacrifice, and it pleased God to crush him, because he knew it
- 11:00would lead many into the eternal security of our salvation.
- 11:08And it pleased him to give us the Holy Spirit and to mark us,
- 11:13and to give us the down payment in the deposit of what's to
- 11:16come. And it is in his kindness,
- 11:19friends, that we were made right with God through Jesus Christ. 8
- 11:25For by grace you were saved through faith and not of
- 11:31yourselves. It is the gift of God.
- 11:33Faith is just the conduit. Faith is just the apparatus.
- 11:39It is grace that saves us, but we have to have the faith to
- 11:43grab a hold of it. Friends, by faith we grab a hold
- 11:47of the grace of God. By faith we put on the
- 11:51righteousness of Jesus Christ. By faith we are given the Holy
- 11:55Spirit. Friends, it is grace and it is
- 12:01not by works. We are not going to behave our
- 12:03way into heaven. If you find somebody who's
- 12:06trying to measure their salvation, they are far from the
- 12:11mark that he desires. We rest in the finished work of
- 12:16the cross, 10 not of works less than a man should boast.
- 12:23We cannot boast about how we are better off than others because
- 12:28we give more money to the church.
- 12:30We cannot boast that we're better off than others because
- 12:34we have attended church and haven't missed a single day.
- 12:37We cannot boast because the version of the Bible that we
- 12:41enjoy is better than the cheap versions of the other ones that
- 12:45somehow have been changed. We cannot boast because we keep
- 12:50Sabbath on Saturday. We cannot boast because we go to
- 12:54certain festivals. We cannot boast because we think
- 12:59of ourselves as better dressed than those others.
- 13:03That is religion, friends, and it never pleased God and it
- 13:07never will. We must have a relationship with
- 13:11God through His Son Jesus Christ and be covered in the blood of
- 13:15Jesus Christ and put on His Holiness and righteousness,
- 13:18friends, and be blameless. And you're in the sight of God,
- 13:22and that is the only way that you're ever going to make it
- 13:24into heaven. And there will be many who stand
- 13:28at the door, knock, but the door will be shut. 10 For we are His
- 13:36workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to good works, which God
- 13:43has before ordained, that we should walk in them.
- 13:47So before He even chose us and predestined us, before the
- 13:51foundations of the earth, God had things that He desired for
- 13:55us to do with this little lifetime that we have, and He
- 13:58expects for us to get into that. But that is not what saves us,
- 14:02friends. Once we are saved and we get the
- 14:04spiritual mind and we get the spiritual vision and the
- 14:08spiritual hearing, then we are able to go out into the highways
- 14:14and the hedges and the byways and to perform all of the tasks
- 14:18that God desires for us to do. But it is not the tasks and it
- 14:22is not the work that saves us. Friends.
- 14:25And that is where many people get turned around. 11 Wherefore
- 14:30remember that you being in times past Gentiles in the flesh, who
- 14:38are called uncircumcised by that which is called the circumcision
- 14:43in the flesh made by hands, he's going to start talking about
- 14:46Gentiles and Jews. 12 That at that time you were without
- 14:51Christ, being alienated from the Commonwealth of Israel and
- 14:56strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and
- 14:59without God in the world. That is what you need to
- 15:02understand is that God chose Abraham as a peculiar nation to
- 15:08show his glory through this little itty bitty teeny tiny
- 15:12nation the size of New Jersey. There in the middle of all of
- 15:18the world, the navel of the entire world, right there,
- 15:22situated to where the gospel could go out to the ends of the
- 15:26earth from that literal geographical place.
- 15:30And all the Gentiles prior to being evangelized, had no prior
- 15:35knowledge of Yahweh, but the Jews did.
- 15:38And that is what is referenced here.
- 15:40And when we were trying to be brought up into the knowledge of
- 15:44it all, but they have been steeped in it from birth, from
- 15:48Genesis all the way to Malachi. They had great understanding of
- 15:53Yahweh, but they needed to be taught in the ways of Christ.
- 15:57And here is the beauty of the whole situation is that the Jews
- 16:01have to come in the same way that the Gentiles do.
- 16:05Jesus Christ said I am the way, the truth and the life, and no
- 16:10one comes unto the Father except through me.
- 16:12Their lineage to Abraham does not get them into heaven, as
- 16:17some are in the habit of thinking, and that is what Paul
- 16:23wants to expound upon. But he tells the Gentiles to
- 16:26make sure they understand that their lineage is through the
- 16:31Jews, and the Jews are the natural, and we are just the
- 16:34wild that is grafted in. 13 But now in Jesus Christ you who
- 16:45sometimes were far off, are made near By the blood of Christ,
- 16:51praise God, Hallelujah. By the blood of Jesus Christ we
- 16:55are grafted into the natural, the Jews.
- 16:59The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is who we serve. 14 For he
- 17:04is our peace, who has made both one and has broken down the
- 17:10middle wall of partition between us.
- 17:13Here you can see that the Gentiles and the Jews alike come
- 17:17unto the Father through Jesus Christ and Jesus Christ alone,
- 17:22and Jesus Christ is our peace. 15 having abolished in His flesh
- 17:30the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in
- 17:36ordinances, for to make in Himself of two one new man, so
- 17:45making peace, that is the church capital.
- 17:48C The Ecclesia friends, and what the Jews are going to have to do
- 17:55is acknowledged that they murdered their Messiah and
- 17:58become Messianic Jews. And how much more easy is it for
- 18:03God to graft the natural branch back into the natural tree once
- 18:10they acknowledge Jesus Christ as their Savior?
- 18:14And they will be blessed because they already have the
- 18:16foreknowledge of thousands of years of serving Yahweh.
- 18:21And now when they see the culmination of it all in Christ
- 18:25Jesus, they will be blessed. And God breaks down that enmity.
- 18:33He breaks down that wall in between the 216 that he might
- 18:38reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross having slain
- 18:45the enmity thereby. So the cross of Christ is the
- 18:49great divide. There's a chasm, friends,
- 18:54between our sinfulness and God's glory.
- 19:00And only cross. Only Christ could ever cross
- 19:04that divine. And we walk across that chasm on
- 19:07the cross, friends. 17 and came and preached peace to you which
- 19:14were far off, and to them which were near.
- 19:18That's the Jews and the Gentiles. 18 For through him we
- 19:23both have access by 1 Spirit unto the Father, that is, the
- 19:27Holy Spirit, which indwells both the ethnic Jews who choose to
- 19:33believe in Jesus Christ as their Savior, and for the Gentiles,
- 19:39the Barbarians who choose to believe Jesus Christ as their
- 19:43Savior is the Holy Spirit marks both friends. 19 Now, therefore,
- 19:54you are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens
- 20:01with the Saints and of the household of God.
- 20:06God is building a wonderful. Sanctuary God is building a
- 20:13temple and he is indwelling that temple and we are the temple of
- 20:18God. We are the church.
- 20:20It is not a building, friends. And we take the church to all
- 20:25areas of this entire world, all people groups, all continents.
- 20:32The temple of God goes. But we must get rid of all of
- 20:36the idol worship that we keep allowing into the temple.
- 20:39Friends 20 and are built upon the foundation of the apostles
- 20:45and the prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief
- 20:49cornerstone. So the names of the 12 disciples
- 20:55will be written on the foundations of New Jerusalem for
- 20:59us to admire for all of eternity, forever and ever.
- 21:03And when we've been there 10,000 years, we have no less days to
- 21:07sing His praise. Friends, Forever and ever and
- 21:11ever and ever, we will be paying our respects to those who laid
- 21:18the foundation. But do not forget that Jesus
- 21:21Christ is the chief cornerstone that everything is built upon,
- 21:26and you will never be put to shame and dismay if you build
- 21:29your life upon that rock. 21 in whom all the building fits frame
- 21:37together, growing unto the holy temple in the Lord. 22 will end
- 21:43here, in whom you also are built together for a habitation of God
- 21:49through the Spirit. It is when you're marked by the
- 21:53Holy Spirit that you become the temple of God.
- 21:56And far be it from us to try to mix Christ and Belial friends,
- 22:01do not try to mix godly wisdom and godly presence and the
- 22:06Spirit of God with things of this world.
- 22:11They do not cohabitate, Do not pollute the temple with the
- 22:15merchandise. We must drive out the money
- 22:18changers, friends. We must flip over the tables,
- 22:23drive them out with the cord. Do not let them cohabitate with
- 22:28God's holy presence that is inside of you.
- 22:32Quit allowing the images to enter into your mind and your
- 22:36eyes and your ears. Quit allowing this world to
- 22:39pollute and stain you. Friends, you are called into a
- 22:42higher purpose. You are called to be holy and
- 22:46you are called to be spotless and you are called into purity.
- 22:50Friends, be filled with the Holy Ghost today.
- 23:01I hope that you've been blessed by this amazing chapter in God's
- 23:05Word. Got to land the plane friends.
- 23:13He's come in and touched down like a fighter pilot.
- 23:18Knocked all the pictures off the wall.
- 23:21We are undone and undignified in His presence.
- 23:24Praise God Almighty, I love you. He loves you.
- 23:33I'm praying for you. I'm praying that you consecrate
- 23:36your temple. He's worthy.
- 23:44Give him all of yourself. Love him with all your heart and
- 23:51all your mind and all your strength.
- 23:54Love your neighbor as yourself and fulfill all the law filled
- 23:58with the Holy Ghost today. God bless you.
- 24:03We'll see you back here tomorrow.
