- 2:32Speaker 3: Well, don't get thirsty when he get my intro.
- 2:34Speaker 5: I didn't know that you whenever I ever all one hundred,
- 2:38Speaker 5: one hundred.
- 2:39Speaker 4: Collectors, they just getting out of hand. They didn't text me,
- 2:41Speaker 4: wouldn't to be a collector.
- 2:42Speaker 2: Start texting this comcast. I just want to see if
- 2:49Speaker 2: you had a little something on it. Oh lord, you
- 2:57Speaker 2: got a little something on it, this little all right?
- 3:00Speaker 3: Then talk about nickname.
- 3:06Speaker 1: Oh yeah, we had to get happy two hundred episode
- 3:10Speaker 1: man to PID fan President Man Fan President Mando. Happy
- 3:17Speaker 1: thirty fourth birthday, my brother.
- 3:19Speaker 3: Happy birthday.
- 3:20Speaker 2: Appreciate proud of you, sodough Man. We appreciate you man
- 3:24Speaker 2: and everything that you do. Keep them coming down.
- 3:26Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:27Speaker 2: He's been supporting us since day once first started the pod,
- 3:31Speaker 2: been at all the live events, even we have events separately. Yeah,
- 3:34Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying. He pulls up, so shout
- 3:36Speaker 2: out to happy birthday.
- 3:38Speaker 1: Yeah, very very good brother, Very good brother. Oh okay,
- 3:40Speaker 1: So yeah, I wanted to go ahead and respond on
- 3:43Speaker 1: the pod because I was getting I saw some of
- 3:45Speaker 1: them clips. Oh, we had a lot of people talking
- 3:48Speaker 1: about it when I was saying, you know what we're
- 3:50Speaker 1: talking about, the Anthony Edward situation. Yes, so I was
- 3:54Speaker 1: getting it in the comy.
- 3:55Speaker 3: Yes you were.
- 3:56Speaker 1: And again everybody it is if we just gonna get
- 3:58Speaker 1: on here and agreed, I have to get It's my
- 4:01Speaker 1: job to give another spin to it. But I do
- 4:04Speaker 1: believe in the spin that I was saying. I think
- 4:08Speaker 1: what they think is that because I believe one side,
- 4:11Speaker 1: I think the other side is wrong. So I like,
- 4:14Speaker 1: I agree with what Zach saying. If anybody I got
- 4:16Speaker 1: three baby mamas, I understand accountability. What I was saying
- 4:20Speaker 1: for her, and I know you say what she wants
- 4:22Speaker 1: to have the baby I'm saying for her is that
- 4:24Speaker 1: we know that this is an obvious money graph. This
- 4:28Speaker 1: is an obvious money grap right, That's what I'm saying.
- 4:31Speaker 1: Like if you if a dude, because women always say, hey,
- 4:35Speaker 1: I know a f boy when I see one, I
- 4:37Speaker 1: know when a dude only wants something. If a dude
- 4:39Speaker 1: is pulling up on you and saying, hey, what you doing,
- 4:42Speaker 1: and then you think he's going to start a family
- 4:43Speaker 1: with you, that's wrong. What's why. That's why I say
- 4:47Speaker 1: it's a bit of a it's a bit of two responsibilities,
- 4:50Speaker 1: because I get it, there's many women out there that God,
- 4:54Speaker 1: it's gotten duped. Things hasn't worked out, and you create
- 4:58Speaker 1: single paying family household. But when you're a part of it,
- 5:02Speaker 1: when you purposely are a part of it, because you
- 5:04Speaker 1: think when she kept a baby, well she had kept
- 5:06Speaker 1: the baby if it was Anthony Jenkins. No, Anthony Edwards.
- 5:11Speaker 1: She's keeping the baby. So you purposely creating a single
- 5:15Speaker 1: parent household. That's why I said, there's when it's those
- 5:19Speaker 1: type of situations that's the blame. That's what I meant.
- 5:22Speaker 5: By Okay, Okay, brother, you got that off your I
- 5:26Speaker 5: was you know.
- 5:30Speaker 2: What that time is like, that's the thing that's usually
- 5:34Speaker 2: you Usually I get told up and when you yeah,
- 5:37Speaker 2: when you talk for a long time, you're gonna say
- 5:40Speaker 2: something to make people mad.
- 5:41Speaker 5: And that's what happens when we pod. You know what
- 5:43Speaker 5: I'm saying. So we just we don't take it personally.
- 5:45Speaker 5: It is what it is.
- 5:46Speaker 1: Okay, I felt I felt personally attacked.
- 5:48Speaker 3: Man, it's you remember when they called me, what was
- 5:51Speaker 3: our dad beat? Use our chemis stuff?
- 5:53Speaker 1: Oh, I was all.
- 5:54Speaker 5: Types of stuff. One time.
- 5:55Speaker 2: It hurt my feelings. I was like, I hurt my
- 5:57Speaker 2: feelings this week. But it's okay, y'all forget. We got
- 5:59Speaker 2: two more clips. Y'all gonna forget.
- 6:01Speaker 3: Y'all gonna forget.
- 6:02Speaker 5: That's why you can't in two clips, don't they're not
- 6:05Speaker 5: gonna care.
- 6:05Speaker 4: Okay, you're happy when when it's the pie fam. I
- 6:08Speaker 4: don't man get beat up by the pie fam. Won
- 6:10Speaker 4: them shade room comments come back. I'll be sitting at
- 6:12Speaker 4: home cleaning my gun.
- 6:15Speaker 3: Y'all.
- 6:16Speaker 4: I stopped looking at you got I was like, you know, way,
- 6:20Speaker 4: I'm not gonna make it.
- 6:21Speaker 2: Get so mad. Oh my god, I don't even look.
- 6:25Speaker 2: I know the first coming. I'm gonna see this all
- 6:28Speaker 2: y'all gonna talk about. But you hear people need to
- 6:30Speaker 2: talk about something else.
- 6:32Speaker 4: But under every you're under every clip, so you're here
- 6:35Speaker 4: with us to talk about stop stop.
- 6:37Speaker 5: I can't watch it.
- 6:38Speaker 1: I don't.
- 6:38Speaker 5: I just look at the views. I don't look at
- 6:40Speaker 5: the coming, but.
- 6:42Speaker 3: Keep them coming, keep them coming.
- 6:44Speaker 1: We gotta check. We love it. But what I felt like,
- 6:47Speaker 1: I felt like dang, I was y'all. Remember I got
- 6:49Speaker 1: raised by women, so I don't you know, I don't.
- 6:51Speaker 1: I don't have I just believe and sometimes there is
- 6:54Speaker 1: accountability on both sides. Everything is not one sided. But
- 6:58Speaker 1: let's go ahead, get to this. The iHeart Radio twenty
- 7:01Speaker 1: five recap. Yes you watch it. I think you put
- 7:05Speaker 1: up a recap. You posted something absolutely.
- 7:07Speaker 4: I recap all love war shows always all the time.
- 7:11Speaker 4: I love an award show. I'm I'm gonna order me
- 7:13Speaker 4: something to eat, get my living room right, and put
- 7:15Speaker 4: my gown on and get my uh and getting ready
- 7:19Speaker 4: to watch.
- 7:19Speaker 2: And that's what I did for the iHeart Awards, and
- 7:22Speaker 2: they were good. I had a good time watching.
- 7:24Speaker 4: Mariah Carey is one of the most entertaining people to
- 7:26Speaker 4: just sit back and watch, not even when she's performing,
- 7:29Speaker 4: just watch her in general, like she's just making weird facts.
- 7:32Speaker 4: She's high as a kite in my mad like. I
- 7:34Speaker 4: don't know what planet she live on, but she make
- 7:37Speaker 4: a lot of weird faces. She do shady stuff. She
- 7:40Speaker 4: had Anderson Park sitting right there showing all thirty two teeth.
- 7:44Speaker 3: I don't know what come on.
- 7:47Speaker 4: I don't know what Mariah do to these men, but
- 7:48Speaker 4: they always smiling when they would have. And so I
- 7:51Speaker 4: was just watching her and I figured out that I'm
- 7:54Speaker 4: gonna start when I get a certain age, I'm just
- 7:56Speaker 4: gonna start acting like I can't walk right, because that's
- 7:58Speaker 4: what Mariah do.
- 7:59Speaker 3: Like she gets up and she was.
- 8:00Speaker 4: Like, and everybody come run like holder, That's what I'm
- 8:03Speaker 4: gonna start doing, like I need help, you know. So
- 8:05Speaker 4: I'm gonna start doing that because that's just being dramatic,
- 8:09Speaker 4: and she you know, it was cute, lady. Guy guy
- 8:11Speaker 4: said some good stuff. Nelly performed and Nelly Wine forgot
- 8:15Speaker 4: but you did good. Yeah, but we ain't forgot okay,
- 8:20Speaker 4: but he did all right, And so it was it
- 8:23Speaker 4: was a great show.
- 8:24Speaker 3: Did y'all watch? What do you think?
- 8:26Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 8:26Speaker 5: It was good. I think that.
- 8:30Speaker 2: Anderson Mariah Carey day. Yes, Okay, yeah, I think the
- 8:35Speaker 2: iHeart radio. Okay, how did she pick her?
- 8:38Speaker 3: That?
- 8:39Speaker 5: What the criteria is to date Mariah?
- 8:42Speaker 3: Mm hmm, that's a good question.
- 8:45Speaker 1: Called her.
- 8:46Speaker 2: I just don't feel like you would just catch Mariah somewhere,
- 8:48Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying, Like Mariah Carey seemed like
- 8:51Speaker 2: like mysterious in a way, like she wouldn't be out,
- 8:53Speaker 2: like for Anderson.
- 8:55Speaker 1: To ride something you never know, or found somebody that
- 8:59Speaker 1: knew and said to send something to her, you never know.
- 9:03Speaker 2: It's just a Riah just don't seem like she be
- 9:05Speaker 2: outside enough. She get pulled up on Ymber.
- 9:08Speaker 1: She's smiling. It is the same reason why I said
- 9:11Speaker 1: about like Amon Shepherd back then, The same thing I
- 9:13Speaker 1: said is that is that it's a win. You can't
- 9:17Speaker 1: not you can never take that away from Annison pact,
- 9:20Speaker 1: like you said, for the simple reason is everybody can't
- 9:23Speaker 1: just pull up on the Tianna Taylor. Everybody just can't
- 9:25Speaker 1: pull up and bag Mariah Carey.
- 9:28Speaker 2: Okay, we ain't giving him all that credit yet, what
- 9:31Speaker 2: not just because he ain't you a hater?
- 9:34Speaker 1: Bro?
- 9:34Speaker 5: No, I'm saying he's he's I think he's dating her.
- 9:37Speaker 1: Is he dating?
- 9:38Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 9:38Speaker 5: I say we don't know.
- 9:42Speaker 3: He was.
- 9:42Speaker 2: He might be dating her, but he was sitting there
- 9:45Speaker 2: like a looking he ain't got no babies, saying that
- 9:48Speaker 2: like a little kid all half me, like you can't
- 9:51Speaker 2: like the respect that we give it to like Nick,
- 9:53Speaker 2: Nick got two babies by you know what. You know
- 9:58Speaker 2: what I'm saying, why fit? I'm saying you just you
- 10:02Speaker 2: dating Mariah.
- 10:02Speaker 4: He's sitting row at the iHeart Awards with Mariah Carey.
- 10:07Speaker 4: That's a win, bro, no matter what, I don't give
- 10:09Speaker 4: damn if they was just on a blind day, you
- 10:11Speaker 4: took me and set me front row and them cameras.
- 10:14Speaker 3: But next to your kids, he in there.
- 10:16Speaker 1: Thank you?
- 10:17Speaker 3: In there?
- 10:17Speaker 5: Okay he looked like one of the kids.
- 10:19Speaker 3: He did, He did look like one of the kids.
- 10:21Speaker 3: But that's my man to look.
- 10:23Speaker 4: If I bring my man to a ward show, I
- 10:25Speaker 4: want to see all thirty two teeth when they talk
- 10:26Speaker 4: about me, like they would see.
- 10:28Speaker 2: The girls were singing and it's over there, like, yes,
- 10:30Speaker 2: Maria's just straight face. She ain't even smiling at the
- 10:32Speaker 2: girls that's performing for her. But Anderson is over here
- 10:35Speaker 2: jumping up and that that's how it's supposed to be. Okay,
- 10:39Speaker 2: So when y'all.
- 10:40Speaker 4: Girlfriends, take y'all somewhere, y'all need to do the same things.
- 10:43Speaker 3: Now, be happy for her.
- 10:45Speaker 1: You definitely got to smile when your lady getting honored.
- 10:47Speaker 1: You're supposed to smile and be the be the arm candy,
- 10:50Speaker 1: just the same way she's supposed to do the same thing.
- 10:52Speaker 5: You know how I sit on a pillow during the
- 10:53Speaker 5: shave room.
- 10:55Speaker 3: Now, why are you telling yourself?
- 10:57Speaker 2: I said, I never knew that was crazy. Yeah, I
- 11:02Speaker 2: was saying that for the documentary one day. You think
- 11:05Speaker 2: you think I don't know that I have a short
- 11:07Speaker 2: Torso I know my flaws.
- 11:11Speaker 5: That's the thing. It's not that I'm too short for
- 11:14Speaker 5: the chair. I have all my height as as much
- 11:16Speaker 5: as he is.
- 11:17Speaker 2: It's in my legs, so I have to sit on
- 11:19Speaker 2: all my heights in my like, look at my chair right.
- 11:22Speaker 5: Now, it's up to its highest it is. That's how
- 11:25Speaker 5: I have to sit.
- 11:25Speaker 2: I'm not ashamed, so you put in documentary teller, I
- 11:28Speaker 2: don't care. But what I'm saying is I wish he
- 11:30Speaker 2: had a pillow because he could sit up a little higher,
- 11:32Speaker 2: because he just looked so young, so young, and like, yeez, like,
- 11:37Speaker 2: he looked so young. He didn't look like her man
- 11:39Speaker 2: to me in that in that situation, and I know
- 11:43Speaker 2: it doesn't matter, but he didn't.
- 11:45Speaker 1: I don't care what I look like. I'm a Mariah
- 11:48Speaker 1: Carey and I know, and you could talk your talk
- 11:50Speaker 1: like it ain'ate just for the exact reason you said it.
- 11:54Speaker 1: You know, it's not Mariah Carrey not giving everybody a shot,
- 11:59Speaker 1: but it's a lot of people shooting shots, and he
- 12:01Speaker 1: got her. You gotta. I mean, hey, look, I don't
- 12:03Speaker 1: care what I look like on that front road with
- 12:05Speaker 1: Mariah Kid, because I'm on the front road with Mariah
- 12:08Speaker 1: cared period.
- 12:09Speaker 5: Okay, y'all gonna act like this is it is a right.
- 12:12Speaker 2: I just want to let y'all y'all look like this
- 12:15Speaker 2: just the new powered couple.
- 12:17Speaker 5: Go ahead.
- 12:18Speaker 2: I can't wait till y'all start saying, ain't nobody talking
- 12:20Speaker 2: about Answer Pot and Mariah?
- 12:22Speaker 3: But y'all, so was that the show last night?
- 12:26Speaker 1: That's wow?
- 12:27Speaker 2: Okay, shout out to the iHeart Just Radio Music Awards.
- 12:30Speaker 2: I thought it was very well produced, like it's probably
- 12:33Speaker 2: one of the best producers.
- 12:36Speaker 3: Can we go? I would like to go. Okay, it's
- 12:39Speaker 3: getting a little embarrassing. We're working here a lot a
- 12:42Speaker 3: long time.
- 12:42Speaker 4: I didn't wait from every department in this I would
- 12:44Speaker 4: like to attend. I didn't been to the beautib BT
- 12:47Speaker 4: and Ward about three four times. Can I at least
- 12:49Speaker 4: come to the wars where I work.
- 12:50Speaker 5: And get me a ticket? And I don't want to
- 12:53Speaker 5: do that.
- 12:54Speaker 1: I think that should be, honestly think that should be.
- 12:56Speaker 1: So we should get like we should get there every
- 12:59Speaker 1: every If you hold out a major day part for
- 13:01Speaker 1: the company, you should be at the heart.
- 13:03Speaker 3: And like, no disrespect. They had ll cool J hosting.
- 13:06Speaker 4: I know a bald guy, light skin, Okay, that could
- 13:10Speaker 4: have done a great job hosting that for you know
- 13:13Speaker 4: what I'm saying. I know a guy, so no shame,
- 13:16Speaker 4: but yeah, I would like to go.
- 13:18Speaker 1: That's what we're you know a place where I work
- 13:20Speaker 1: there with that would be kind of cool. It's like
- 13:22Speaker 1: when I try to.
- 13:23Speaker 3: Go see that comedy show, you know what I'm saying,
- 13:25Speaker 3: I could barely get in.
- 13:26Speaker 1: So that's got another comedy show, cup.
- 13:28Speaker 3: I know I'm gonna be at that one.
- 13:30Speaker 5: Yeah, we'll see.
- 13:31Speaker 1: I'm supposed to do my first, my first ever three
- 13:33Speaker 1: minutes of comedy. I'm still debating.
- 13:35Speaker 5: Now we got torn on the lineup.
- 13:37Speaker 3: I got to be there.
- 13:38Speaker 5: He's doing three minutes in the beginning.
- 13:40Speaker 3: I got to be there. I cannot wait, I cannot win.
- 13:42Speaker 1: I told him yesterday, I have my beginning.
- 13:45Speaker 3: You have, you have your beginning.
- 13:47Speaker 1: I have the beginning.
- 13:48Speaker 3: Yeah, oh a beginning.
- 13:49Speaker 5: He's got the beginning of his set.
- 13:51Speaker 1: Is that? What is that?
- 13:52Speaker 3: What comedian is calling?
- 13:55Speaker 1: Just at the beginning?
- 13:58Speaker 3: You didn't make it an album. I got an intro like.
- 14:03Speaker 2: The beginning beginning. But we are excited for tom out
- 14:08Speaker 2: with you. He's gonna do, he's gonna do. We're gonna
- 14:11Speaker 2: put three minutes on the clock and let's see what
- 14:12Speaker 2: he got.
- 14:13Speaker 4: So you got a towel and I was like, all, look,
- 14:15Speaker 4: community have like a little towel in the pocket about
- 14:18Speaker 4: him sweating.
- 14:20Speaker 5: I can't wait, you're gonna do five.
- 14:22Speaker 3: I'm gonna be the heckler.
- 14:27Speaker 1: At least you gotta have a playing somebody to start
- 14:30Speaker 1: the laught off.
- 14:30Speaker 4: Like no, I got you, I got you. I was
- 14:33Speaker 4: laughing for he even got to the microphone.
- 14:35Speaker 1: I was laughing.
- 14:36Speaker 3: The people was like the three hundred level was like, girl,
- 14:41Speaker 3: I'm like, he's so funny. He is so funny.
- 14:45Speaker 1: All right, let's get Kanye is kind because I've seen
- 14:49Speaker 1: a lot Charlotte Mane saying something about Kanye West talking about,
- 14:53Speaker 1: you know, he's grand standing and maybe just being loud basically.
- 14:56Speaker 1: And he did another weird thing, Kanye. He had a
- 15:01Speaker 1: Diddy song with King Komb's and North all on the
- 15:07Speaker 1: same record and released it. Now they're said, Kim is
- 15:10Speaker 1: extremely mad about it. What do you guys think.
- 15:14Speaker 2: I think she has every right to be mad about it.
- 15:18Speaker 2: With the things that Diddy is going through right now,
- 15:21Speaker 2: I wouldn't want my child associated with it right now
- 15:23Speaker 2: in the heat of that, Like this isn't I don't
- 15:25Speaker 2: know why Ya is acting like this is like he's like,
- 15:28Speaker 2: Kim is wrong, you know in this situation, Like I
- 15:31Speaker 2: get it. You want to take up for Diddy or whatever.
- 15:33Speaker 2: But you can do that, you know, on your own
- 15:35Speaker 2: platform and do it the way you want to do it,
- 15:37Speaker 2: but don't drag the children into it.
- 15:39Speaker 5: The children are innocent, man, Lead the kids out of it. Yeah,
- 15:41Speaker 5: you should. You know better than that.
- 15:43Speaker 1: Yep.
- 15:44Speaker 2: And that's what I mean by what Kanye's doing right now.
- 15:46Speaker 2: It's not the oh, I'm going through something that's a
- 15:50Speaker 2: tough time. No, everything he's been doing has been on purpose.
- 15:54Speaker 2: Y'all ain't noticed that he's been doing this stuff on
- 15:56Speaker 2: It's like, how can I agitate people? What's the best
- 15:59Speaker 2: way to get a response? This man just went on
- 16:02Speaker 2: a whole rant about Drake before all that. You remember
- 16:06Speaker 2: how he hated Drake and he was talking about Drake.
- 16:08Speaker 2: Now he's switching that and going on a whole rent
- 16:10Speaker 2: against Kendrick right now.
- 16:12Speaker 1: Yep.
- 16:12Speaker 5: So whoever on top is who he ain't want to
- 16:15Speaker 5: go after.
- 16:15Speaker 2: He's just trying to evoke emotion and he's it and
- 16:18Speaker 2: it's starting to get played out and it's getting corny.
- 16:20Speaker 5: And this is I hate to say.
- 16:21Speaker 2: I'm one of your biggest fans, hey, I'm one of
- 16:23Speaker 2: the people who ride with you to the end.
- 16:25Speaker 5: But you you losing me.
- 16:28Speaker 4: Yeah, he's doing I mean, it's very corny, all the
- 16:30Speaker 4: stuff he's doing. And I, like you said, at first,
- 16:33Speaker 4: I was like, oh, you know, he misses Mama. You
- 16:35Speaker 4: know what I'm saying, He missus granny, and you know
- 16:37Speaker 4: it's hard for a black man. But now it's he
- 16:40Speaker 4: didn't done, He didn't. He has done so many things
- 16:43Speaker 4: that I just can't. There's no way to defend it,
- 16:45Speaker 4: you know what I'm saying. And like you said, it's
- 16:47Speaker 4: very calculated, you know what I'm saying. So you can't
- 16:49Speaker 4: even give the excuse of mental health or something like that,
- 16:51Speaker 4: like this is all very intentional and very calculated. And
- 16:55Speaker 4: I just thinking, in a Trump America, we're not worried
- 16:58Speaker 4: about you. We got a lot, a lot of bigger
- 17:00Speaker 4: things to worry about. We got big, real problems to
- 17:03Speaker 4: worry about and to be thinking about. And right now,
- 17:06Speaker 4: no matter what you do, whatever antique pull, it is
- 17:10Speaker 4: not gonna rock the world like it used to.
- 17:12Speaker 3: When you was back.
- 17:13Speaker 4: Saying you know, slavery was a choice, and you got
- 17:15Speaker 4: on TV and said, George Bush on like black people,
- 17:17Speaker 4: and you did all the things you've done before that
- 17:19Speaker 4: have really shook the culture. We shook for real now,
- 17:23Speaker 4: so we ain't got time to be worried about what
- 17:26Speaker 4: Kanye is doing. So I wish he would find another
- 17:29Speaker 4: angle and maybe put his efforts into some creativity and
- 17:32Speaker 4: some music that could.
- 17:33Speaker 2: Really be too talented to that, Yeah, to reach like this,
- 17:36Speaker 2: he too talented for that.
- 17:37Speaker 1: Like yeah, he playing what he's doing is you playing around?
- 17:41Speaker 1: And he gonna find out. And I keep trying to
- 17:43Speaker 1: explain to him, Explain to anybody you got kids, bro,
- 17:48Speaker 1: It ain't even about what you're doing to yourself or
- 17:50Speaker 1: what you his number one fan and all the you know,
- 17:53Speaker 1: all of us have been fans forever. It's about, bro,
- 17:56Speaker 1: what you're doing to your kids. You know what I mean.
- 17:59Speaker 1: You don't know what your son thinking. You don't know
- 18:01Speaker 1: what your daughter's thinking. You don't know what they got
- 18:03Speaker 1: going on in their head when they see they dad
- 18:05Speaker 1: constantly getting drug across the media, they got the internet.
- 18:08Speaker 1: It ain't nothing you can keep from your kids. Now,
- 18:10Speaker 1: they'll pop on that tablet. They know who their daddy is.
- 18:12Speaker 1: They know they know who their momy is. They're very
- 18:15Speaker 1: aware of that. And you know, and I don't give
- 18:19Speaker 1: a care what you're talking about rich kids, poor kids,
- 18:24Speaker 1: middle class kids. Kids are mean all across the world. Yes,
- 18:27Speaker 1: they are mean, and you have you putting your kids
- 18:31Speaker 1: amongst their peers in a wild position, in a wild position,
- 18:35Speaker 1: you should be caring about that, Like when that's the
- 18:37Speaker 1: purpose when you have In my opinion, when you have kids,
- 18:41Speaker 1: you thinking about somebody outside of yourself. And I think
- 18:45Speaker 1: right now, the behavior right now is still yay over everything,
- 18:48Speaker 1: And I don't think that's That's what I.
- 18:50Speaker 5: Think having kids is an overrated experience.
- 18:52Speaker 3: Who talk about is that? Talk about it?
- 18:55Speaker 2: Because when you said that's the reason you have kids,
- 18:58Speaker 2: and then I thought about it, I was like, well.
- 18:59Speaker 1: I mean it's the reasons, please, because.
- 19:05Speaker 2: I think that's something that we need to discuss in
- 19:06Speaker 2: our community. Why are we having children? Why a lot
- 19:10Speaker 2: of people feel this way, but they will never admit it.
- 19:12Speaker 3: So I love to hear what you have to say
- 19:14Speaker 3: about this.
- 19:15Speaker 2: Once you get them here, you love them, right, you
- 19:19Speaker 2: love them and you couldn't see your life without them
- 19:21Speaker 2: because they're here.
- 19:23Speaker 5: But before, why are they here? Does that make sense?
- 19:28Speaker 2: Like that's why God made them so cute and small,
- 19:32Speaker 2: because he knew they.
- 19:33Speaker 5: Would you would love them immediately and then they.
- 19:35Speaker 2: Just you know, they become a part of you and
- 19:36Speaker 2: you love them, you when you want to protect them,
- 19:38Speaker 2: and they just oh, you know what I'm saying. And
- 19:40Speaker 2: if you don't think about it, if you got kids
- 19:42Speaker 2: at ten, they came out at ten, oh, you never
- 19:45Speaker 2: went through that back. You wouldn't even want me. You'd
- 19:47Speaker 2: be like, the hell with these kids. You'd be like,
- 19:49Speaker 2: I'm not dealing with this. You have to get them
- 19:52Speaker 2: from a young age and see them grow and love
- 19:54Speaker 2: them first.
- 19:59Speaker 1: No way I want to in this room completely lost
- 20:03Speaker 1: when you overhead, yes, he said, y'all both said like
- 20:08Speaker 1: y'all been chewing on tree bark for crying. What are
- 20:11Speaker 1: y'all saying? What type of psychedelics are y'all saying?
- 20:15Speaker 3: That is being honest. Kids are meant ten.
- 20:18Speaker 1: Years are mean? Kids are meaning kids. But I'm saying no,
- 20:23Speaker 1: you have kids for all types of reasons. But my
- 20:26Speaker 1: thing is.
- 20:27Speaker 5: Why we need to start to say them, why do
- 20:30Speaker 5: you have them?
- 20:32Speaker 1: Because sometimes people want kids, they.
- 20:34Speaker 5: Want why other than you want them?
- 20:37Speaker 1: Zach, what are you talking about? I'm not going to
- 20:40Speaker 1: go into this typer conversation.
- 20:41Speaker 3: Be honest, Why do we have kids? Conversation.
- 20:45Speaker 2: People need to be honest about it because a lot
- 20:47Speaker 2: of people have kids.
- 20:48Speaker 3: They don't even be liking it.
- 20:49Speaker 2: Not about your kids. The thing about when you talk
- 20:51Speaker 2: about kids, most people talk about I'm being when you
- 20:55Speaker 2: when you talk about kids, people talk about their kids.
- 20:57Speaker 2: So when you start thinking about kids, you start thinking
- 20:59Speaker 2: about your kids, and then what comes in that love
- 21:03Speaker 2: that you have for them comes in, and love clouds everything.
- 21:06Speaker 2: What I'm trying to do is I'm trying to get
- 21:08Speaker 2: us to think before the love, what makes you have kids?
- 21:12Speaker 2: Because you're like, I want another version myself. I want
- 21:15Speaker 2: to see so it's about you. I want another version
- 21:17Speaker 2: of me.
- 21:18Speaker 3: The world needs more to the world needs more.
- 21:20Speaker 5: Meaty, So we have kids. We'll be like, the world
- 21:22Speaker 5: needs more meat Let me have another me.
- 21:28Speaker 3: So we have so we have.
- 21:29Speaker 5: Kids running around.
- 21:32Speaker 1: Reason you got three that I love and I just
- 21:35Speaker 1: gave it. I gave the world. I gave you all
- 21:37Speaker 1: some gems. Bro, My daughter already got food. Look at that,
- 21:40Speaker 1: she twenty five, twenty five, and she look at this.
- 21:44Speaker 1: I gave you the fans. That's that's I gave the
- 21:49Speaker 1: world one of them.
- 21:52Speaker 5: About you?
- 21:52Speaker 3: Why did you have Why did you decide to have
- 21:54Speaker 3: a child.
- 21:55Speaker 5: I was in love and all that. You know what
- 21:57Speaker 5: I'm saying.
- 21:58Speaker 2: To see that, and that's why I had it, because
- 21:59Speaker 2: you in love exactly, and you and you talk that
- 22:02Speaker 2: that's the thing you do when you're in love exactly,
- 22:05Speaker 2: you'd be like, oh, when you're in love, you should
- 22:06Speaker 2: have a child.
- 22:07Speaker 3: Who said that? I don't know why? Why can't you
- 22:14Speaker 3: just be in love and be in love?
- 22:16Speaker 2: I just want to know why we were like, you
- 22:18Speaker 2: know what, we need another person here. I mean, I'm
- 22:21Speaker 2: so happy that I'm so I love my son to death.
- 22:24Speaker 2: But what I'm trying to say is you're not having
- 22:26Speaker 2: any more kids.
- 22:27Speaker 1: No, I would have another one. I would have another kid.
- 22:29Speaker 1: Why would you have another kid? I don't know.
- 22:32Speaker 3: See, that's what I'm saying. They don't know.
- 22:35Speaker 1: That's what I'm trying to at least I'm admitting it.
- 22:38Speaker 5: I'm admitting that I don't know why.
- 22:40Speaker 1: Because it's it's a part of human existence to want
- 22:43Speaker 1: to continue your legacy. It's a part. It's built into
- 22:46Speaker 1: our DNA to pro create.
- 22:48Speaker 2: So let me take on another responsibility, the whole human
- 22:54Speaker 2: of a whole not like a human though it is
- 22:57Speaker 2: so cool it depends on you.
- 22:59Speaker 3: It's cool when.
- 23:01Speaker 2: It's Yeah, it's cool cool once you get started.
- 23:04Speaker 1: But I'm talking about before the step, before you get started.
- 23:07Speaker 1: It's fun to make them.
- 23:11Speaker 5: Now you onto something now.
- 23:15Speaker 1: Of making it, it's really fun.
- 23:17Speaker 2: That is why we have and that's probably why we
- 23:19Speaker 2: have kids. Because unprotected sex is great. Yeah, condom sex
- 23:24Speaker 2: is turkey bacon.
- 23:28Speaker 1: If you get that.
- 23:29Speaker 3: I'm not gonna say that. I'm not gonna get it's
- 23:31Speaker 3: good like that, Pope. People need to have.
- 23:35Speaker 1: The things get the thing was? Those are the.
- 23:42Speaker 2: Movie he always fashion. Now you're trying to tell you
- 23:46Speaker 2: in the cold to get the thin one.
- 23:48Speaker 3: What does that mean?
- 23:49Speaker 5: He mean condoms?
- 23:50Speaker 2: I thought he meant time you say something outside about.
- 23:58Speaker 1: Saying I told you it was.
- 24:07Speaker 3: You get that? Thing's like around that.
- 24:11Speaker 1: With me?
- 24:12Speaker 3: Yeah, I like turkey bacon and thin win total. Now
- 24:23Speaker 3: I don't like nothing.
- 24:25Speaker 1: Okay, all right, let's get to this. Every Mackie says
- 24:29Speaker 1: the American mail is dead and they killed masculinity in homes.
- 24:33Speaker 1: Do you agree anything? What y'all got to say?
- 24:38Speaker 4: I didn't hear you because Ryan was and I'm not
- 24:41Speaker 4: gonna lie. You got out of that or over that
- 24:44Speaker 4: in that corner where I can't see you distracting health.
- 24:48Speaker 3: Yeah, like I know what y'all do up in the morning.
- 24:52Speaker 3: We're not doing that up in here, so get it
- 24:54Speaker 3: together over there.
- 24:55Speaker 2: Yes, I mean the topic is introduced to, the pot
- 24:59Speaker 2: is supposed to. I'm sorry, I didn't know what. I
- 25:04Speaker 2: don't trust neither one of them. So I'm grabbing my
- 25:06Speaker 2: purse because they bus It looks like they're stealing. I
- 25:09Speaker 2: don't know because over my morning show we don't do
- 25:11Speaker 2: all that, you know, so I don't know what's going on.
- 25:15Speaker 3: Now what you ask it for?
- 25:17Speaker 1: For the here it is again, they weren't listening. Aftery back,
- 25:22Speaker 1: he says the American mail is dead and they killed
- 25:24Speaker 1: masculinity in homes. Do you agree?
- 25:27Speaker 3: Oh that's deed, that's deed, Tom.
- 25:32Speaker 1: Ahead, go ahead, as deep.
- 25:37Speaker 4: I'm really not.
- 25:38Speaker 3: Because the way you just read that.
- 25:41Speaker 4: I want to agree with him and on a certain extent,
- 25:44Speaker 4: but I'm scared to agree with Anthony Mecki because I
- 25:46Speaker 4: heard he's so mean. So I'm like, you know what
- 25:49Speaker 4: I'm saying, I'm taking I'm hesitant on saying it. But
- 25:52Speaker 4: the way you say that they have killed masculinity and homes,
- 25:55Speaker 4: if we look back.
- 25:57Speaker 3: Zach, I'm not I'm not trying to be deep, but
- 25:59Speaker 3: you take us back.
- 26:06Speaker 4: I'm not trying to be deep, but I'm you know,
- 26:08Speaker 4: there has been you know, the black male in the
- 26:12Speaker 4: home has not always been present and not always by choice.
- 26:17Speaker 4: A lot of it is circumstances and the way that
- 26:19Speaker 4: you know, we were set up after we were released
- 26:23Speaker 4: from slavery, and so I think when you look over
- 26:27Speaker 4: the course of from slavery to now, yeah, masculinity in
- 26:32Speaker 4: the home has been something that has not been heavily
- 26:35Speaker 4: promoted in our community. And I'll just leave it at that.
- 26:42Speaker 1: What you think I mean, I think I'm I'm gonna
- 26:47Speaker 1: go with it, just because of the single parent first
- 26:49Speaker 1: of all, single parent households, and just circumstances, how things happen, whatever.
- 26:53Speaker 1: I think a lot of times, I think me and
- 26:55Speaker 1: my boys talked about this before we just just shooting
- 26:58Speaker 1: and ship it came up with it. Like you think
- 27:01Speaker 1: about it. If you don't have a mail in your house,
- 27:04Speaker 1: your homies are raising you, teach you how to be
- 27:07Speaker 1: a man, or your friend's father's you know, they tell
- 27:10Speaker 1: me you hearing what they dad, it's mad at and
- 27:13Speaker 1: that I mean, I'm speaking even for myself or some
- 27:15Speaker 1: of my boys, Like okay, because I remember my best
- 27:18Speaker 1: friend's father would say, like he'd be like, man, he
- 27:21Speaker 1: like you you're a teenager. Don't walk out your house
- 27:23Speaker 1: without some money in your pocket. And I'm like, damn,
- 27:26Speaker 1: I ain't never heard that, Like I gotta get some
- 27:28Speaker 1: money in my pocket, because he's like, that's you a guy.
- 27:30Speaker 1: Guy's always supposed to have some money on the in
- 27:33Speaker 1: they pocket. You never know when it's something gonna go wrong.
- 27:35Speaker 1: And that's just a human thing anyway as well. So
- 27:37Speaker 1: you used to start learning and how you think a lot,
- 27:39Speaker 1: and you can always tell like when you got guys
- 27:42Speaker 1: and I think exact, man, I agree with this. That
- 27:44Speaker 1: never really hung around other men, so they don't understand
- 27:48Speaker 1: guide cold, so to speak. So you're or they or
- 27:51Speaker 1: their guide cold. It's different because of the type of
- 27:54Speaker 1: dudes that they hung around. So like I you know,
- 27:57Speaker 1: our fellas we hang around, you don't do this, you
- 27:59Speaker 1: don't do that, we don't do this, And you follow
- 28:01Speaker 1: that kind of guideline because your group of guys you
- 28:04Speaker 1: came up with teach you how to do it. And
- 28:07Speaker 1: then then I think on the last part of it
- 28:08Speaker 1: is that, you know, I've been accused of it, but
- 28:11Speaker 1: it's been from the female members of my family and stuff,
- 28:14Speaker 1: and now they understand it when I'm like, yo, I'm
- 28:17Speaker 1: when I talk about my son, like why are you tough?
- 28:20Speaker 1: Or you say certain things and you're teaching them certain things.
- 28:23Speaker 1: I like, cause he's a dude, y'all are talking for
- 28:27Speaker 1: Ain't nobody coming to save this dude. Nobody. He cannot
- 28:31Speaker 1: be trying to come up, trying to figure it out.
- 28:34Speaker 1: Pretty girl privilege, all of that. All because the women
- 28:37Speaker 1: in my family are attractive, you gonna have some pretty
- 28:40Speaker 1: girl privilege. They're gonna people gonna look out for him.
- 28:43Speaker 1: You a man, bro, Ain't nobody looking out for you?
- 28:46Speaker 1: Ain't you a black man? So I think those out
- 28:48Speaker 1: of I think some of the things that might have
- 28:50Speaker 1: gotten watered down along the way.
- 28:52Speaker 3: And even then, I.
- 28:53Speaker 4: Feel like mothers sometimes not just mothers, but parents sometimes
- 28:56Speaker 4: can coddle their boys. And I think a lot of
- 28:59Speaker 4: men are not being taught how to be men, but
- 29:03Speaker 4: instead women are being taught how to.
- 29:08Speaker 3: Be women. But also never need a man, right, you
- 29:12Speaker 3: know what I'm saying.
- 29:13Speaker 4: So I'm I'm trying to be careful with my words
- 29:15Speaker 4: because I want to make sure it comes through clearly.
- 29:17Speaker 4: Like I feel like a lot of like growing up
- 29:19Speaker 4: in your house maybe, and I know in my house,
- 29:21Speaker 4: my sister was a lot more strict on me than
- 29:23Speaker 4: she was on the boys because it was like and
- 29:25Speaker 4: she raised us, so she was like, you know, they
- 29:27Speaker 4: can have girls stay over early at an early age.
- 29:30Speaker 4: You know, she was helping my brother, you know what
- 29:32Speaker 4: I'm saying, with his girlfriend and stuff. But it was like,
- 29:34Speaker 4: you can never do that because you're a girl. But
- 29:36Speaker 4: I feel like boys need to be held to the
- 29:37Speaker 4: same type of standards, and a lot of our boys
- 29:39Speaker 4: are not being raised to be husbands. They're not being
- 29:42Speaker 4: raised to be providers. They're not being raised to you know.
- 29:46Speaker 4: It's unfortunate, but that's the truth. And that's why you
- 29:48Speaker 4: see a lot of women going on being successful, being
- 29:51Speaker 4: independent and not not even knowing how to coexist with
- 29:55Speaker 4: a partner or a man because our boys are not
- 29:59Speaker 4: being raised to do I.
- 30:01Speaker 1: Think I think that is I think I agree with you.
- 30:03Speaker 1: I think the independence part of it, I think they're
- 30:06Speaker 1: not you know what I mean, Like your mama tell you, hey,
- 30:09Speaker 1: you want some money, you figure out, Hey, I feel itself.
- 30:13Speaker 1: Get some gas. Now you got cut some grass. Go
- 30:16Speaker 1: see if people want to get their grass cut. Go
- 30:18Speaker 1: see if somebody need snow fall. Go see if there's
- 30:21Speaker 1: somebody need their driveway shovel. You know what I mean.
- 30:24Speaker 1: You think about it like you know you want Mike,
- 30:26Speaker 1: You want Mike's. I can't get you, George, I just can't.
- 30:29Speaker 1: I can't go get you a part time job and
- 30:31Speaker 1: figure it out. You was kind of forced at least
- 30:34Speaker 1: I was a certain and I believe this other guy
- 30:36Speaker 1: you was forced to kind of figure it out. And
- 30:40Speaker 1: those lessons transcend throughout your life. When you you want something,
- 30:45Speaker 1: you figure it out. And I think I think women
- 30:48Speaker 1: like you said, because you see way more. And it's
- 30:51Speaker 1: just like when I when I I look at it,
- 30:53Speaker 1: you see way more Black women up, way more. You
- 30:57Speaker 1: just see them. They up.
- 31:00Speaker 2: Lot of our fathers, a lot of not mine, faar.
- 31:02Speaker 2: I grew up in the house with a father, but
- 31:03Speaker 2: it's like a lot of people's fathers were not in
- 31:05Speaker 2: the home. And not to go deep, but when you
- 31:08Speaker 2: look at the welfare situation that we a lot of
- 31:11Speaker 2: us grew up on, because that's, you know, what we
- 31:13Speaker 2: needed it was encouraged that, like, if you had a
- 31:16Speaker 2: man in a house, you couldn't get you couldn't get
- 31:18Speaker 2: food stamps, you couldn't get welfare. So it's like, even
- 31:21Speaker 2: if there was a father that wanted to be present,
- 31:23Speaker 2: he couldn't fully be in that house because they needed
- 31:26Speaker 2: the government assistant and the government was not trying to
- 31:28Speaker 2: assist if there was a black man in the house.
- 31:30Speaker 3: It's that's crazy.
- 31:31Speaker 2: It's just I'm torn on this topic because I think
- 31:35Speaker 2: there's two different topics that were discussing right now, and
- 31:38Speaker 2: it all falls under the umbrella masculinity. So I look
- 31:41Speaker 2: at it like this, you've got masculinity that I think
- 31:44Speaker 2: Anthony Mackie is talking about is more of like leading
- 31:48Speaker 2: and teaching your sons and teaching young men, you know,
- 31:52Speaker 2: being a leader or whatever. I agree with that percent,
- 31:56Speaker 2: and I feel like that was purposely taken out of
- 31:58Speaker 2: our homes through systemic exact depression. Okay, that's what I
- 32:03Speaker 2: think he's talking about. But then there's another side of
- 32:06Speaker 2: masculinity that I think needed to be destroyed, which was
- 32:10Speaker 2: the toxic side of masculinity absolutely where it comes with men,
- 32:14Speaker 2: where we're like, oh, men, don't cry. You don't do
- 32:17Speaker 2: this as a man. You act like this, and I
- 32:20Speaker 2: think that is toxic and damaging, and then you end
- 32:23Speaker 2: up with these damaged boys walking around because they think
- 32:25Speaker 2: they can't cry, they can't do nothing, They don't know
- 32:28Speaker 2: what to do with their emotions, even though they have emotions.
- 32:30Speaker 2: So that's why I get torn on this conversation because
- 32:33Speaker 2: I see it both ways. I see the way masculinity
- 32:35Speaker 2: was taken out of our home systemically, but then I
- 32:38Speaker 2: also see how what was called masculinity and being a man,
- 32:42Speaker 2: which it really wasn't, you know what I'm saying, being
- 32:45Speaker 2: this tough, macho, ego driven person, and that's what you
- 32:49Speaker 2: see in the streets, and that's why you see dudes
- 32:50Speaker 2: killing each other over.
- 32:53Speaker 5: A color or sign, because that's toxic masculinity.
- 32:57Speaker 1: It's my block on either one. I'm on it, you
- 33:00Speaker 1: know what I'm saying.
- 33:00Speaker 2: And we sitting here arguing about shooting each other, killing
- 33:02Speaker 2: each other over absolutely nothing, you know what I'm saying.
- 33:05Speaker 2: I think that's a toxic way of it. So it's just,
- 33:07Speaker 2: you know, I think it's a fine line. But I
- 33:09Speaker 2: do give our generation and millennials, the boomers over there,
- 33:15Speaker 2: but us millennial dads I see are way more present.
- 33:25Speaker 2: They are definitely doing things even if the relationship don't work.
- 33:28Speaker 2: As you know, like we go through the ends for
- 33:31Speaker 2: our children. You know what I'm saying. I sell more
- 33:34Speaker 2: with our general than our parents, than the people who
- 33:36Speaker 2: raised us. I feel like we're getting better at that.
- 33:39Speaker 2: And we see even guys who don't have fathers. I
- 33:41Speaker 2: see guys who don't have fathers being fathers. You didn't
- 33:44Speaker 2: have one or didn't have an example of that, But
- 33:48Speaker 2: like you say, it takes. Don't think that you don't
- 33:50Speaker 2: know how to be a father. Fellas if just because
- 33:52Speaker 2: you didn't have one, if you had coaches and you
- 33:54Speaker 2: had uncles, or you had different types of positive men
- 33:57Speaker 2: in your life, you learn different things from them, and
- 33:59Speaker 2: you can instill that to your child.
- 34:00Speaker 5: Because one thing.
- 34:01Speaker 2: About it, a dad being there is just existing, exist,
- 34:07Speaker 2: just existing. You ain't gotta have no lessons, You ain't
- 34:09Speaker 2: gotta have no cool sayings. You ain't gotta take a
- 34:13Speaker 2: dad being there a child being able to say that
- 34:16Speaker 2: gon my dad, ye means a lot.
- 34:19Speaker 5: And don't think that you're just you know, your presence,
- 34:21Speaker 5: just your presence.
- 34:23Speaker 2: But you know what I'm saying, it's so much that
- 34:24Speaker 2: comes with being a man that you get, especially if
- 34:26Speaker 2: you got kids. You know what I'm saying, You walking
- 34:28Speaker 2: with your kid down the street, your kid just feels
- 34:30Speaker 2: more free and safe, you know what I'm saying.
- 34:32Speaker 5: And they would if they were just walking with their mom.
- 34:34Speaker 5: Y'all just going down the street.
- 34:35Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying. You didn't do nothing special,
- 34:37Speaker 2: but it's just something that comes with that.
- 34:39Speaker 1: And that's why I say when I was saying before,
- 34:41Speaker 1: when people you hear that the quarter, it's funny, I'm
- 34:43Speaker 1: looking for a stepdaddy and all of the different things.
- 34:46Speaker 1: But I said, like, I know firsthand what it could
- 34:49Speaker 1: do if you're putting different people in front of your
- 34:52Speaker 1: kid's face, especially at a young age, until they've had
- 34:55Speaker 1: a chance to really have a solid, strong relations and
- 35:00Speaker 1: ship with their father. If you and if the father
- 35:03Speaker 1: wants to. This is because I know first thing, somebody,
- 35:05Speaker 1: what if he don't want to, then don't be bothered
- 35:07Speaker 1: with him. You are jerk. But I'm saying with somebody
- 35:09Speaker 1: that you gotta you could call him, he gonna pull up.
- 35:12Speaker 1: Y'all got a good relationship whatever, but you're putting your
- 35:16Speaker 1: putting other men in my kids face when they two,
- 35:19Speaker 1: and they three and they four, and not only in
- 35:22Speaker 1: their face, but they waking up with them. So if
- 35:24Speaker 1: builds a false sense of home, they're waking up with
- 35:27Speaker 1: them in the same household with them, sitting down, eating
- 35:29Speaker 1: breakfast with them, dinner with them. That that fogs. And
- 35:34Speaker 1: then the first thing people want to say is, well,
- 35:36Speaker 1: if you want to be around your kids, you would
- 35:38Speaker 1: have made it work for you with your with your
- 35:39Speaker 1: baby mama. What if she's a kid, or what if
- 35:44Speaker 1: or what if being or both of us being around
- 35:47Speaker 1: each other turns us both into the kids, right And
- 35:50Speaker 1: we can't and we can't even stand each other the
- 35:53Speaker 1: sight of each other's face, so we so we should
- 35:56Speaker 1: be both put up with that in fortunately, so it's
- 36:00Speaker 1: it's a lot. I just that's the one thing that
- 36:02Speaker 1: I that I will say because I've seen it first hand,
- 36:07Speaker 1: and I've seen it firsthand. When you introduce another man
- 36:11Speaker 1: into your child's life, or if you got your child,
- 36:15Speaker 1: if you a guy and you introduce another woman into
- 36:18Speaker 1: your child's life, it will mess up their relationship with
- 36:21Speaker 1: their mama. You should not be doing that when they're young.
- 36:26Speaker 1: It just will skew it.
- 36:28Speaker 4: Not unless they are the husband or wife or staying
- 36:32Speaker 4: like it's a it's a relationship that.
- 36:35Speaker 1: It was a husband and wife. Unfortunately, and I know
- 36:38Speaker 1: that my baby, Trinity's mama got married right away. I
- 36:44Speaker 1: won't go into that one. She got married right away.
- 36:47Speaker 1: And Trinity even said, and I was around Trinity a
- 36:51Speaker 1: lot for her to be out of state, like spending
- 36:53Speaker 1: entire submerge with me every other holiday and and never
- 36:56Speaker 1: played and mama never played with none of my visitation
- 36:59Speaker 1: even and I would just pop out there sometimes. She
- 37:02Speaker 1: never played with it. But even at that point, Trinity
- 37:06Speaker 1: still says, she's like, it was hard for me, And
- 37:08Speaker 1: she says, a grown woman, it was hard for me
- 37:10Speaker 1: to kind of like, Okay, he here with me every day,
- 37:15Speaker 1: but I know this is my dad, and it's like
- 37:18Speaker 1: it's hard for me to figure it out who's like,
- 37:21Speaker 1: who am I like really locked in with. So that's
- 37:23Speaker 1: why I'm saying, when you introduce those new people, it's tough.
- 37:26Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, I've been with you on that.
- 37:28Speaker 4: Like my parents, you know, they was to separate when
- 37:32Speaker 4: no other man coming up and in and out of
- 37:33Speaker 4: my mama house, none of that.
- 37:34Speaker 3: So I'm totally with you on that.
- 37:36Speaker 4: I'm just I don't want to give step parents a
- 37:38Speaker 4: bad name, because if you find a good partner that
- 37:41Speaker 4: wants to be like Russell Wilson, that want to be
- 37:43Speaker 4: there for your kids, then he has established hisself, he
- 37:45Speaker 4: has earned the trust of your trust, your kids trust,
- 37:49Speaker 4: and it's.
- 37:49Speaker 3: Okay to.
- 37:51Speaker 2: Be dated again. Yeah, you know what I'm saying. You
- 37:53Speaker 2: can't just tell your baby mama because we ain't together. King,
- 37:55Speaker 2: nobody ever come in my child life. That's what happens
- 37:58Speaker 2: when you split up and different examps.
- 38:00Speaker 1: I don't agree with it. I think it wait.
- 38:02Speaker 2: I can wait when they're that young, it can wait.
- 38:05Speaker 2: Like I've seen different wait for me. I've seen different
- 38:08Speaker 2: examples where it all turns out to be a good
- 38:12Speaker 2: thing and a positive thing. I've actually seen more examples
- 38:16Speaker 2: of saying not a woman dating somebody else or man
- 38:19Speaker 2: dating somebody else, but when they locked in, I've seen
- 38:22Speaker 2: more examples of the stepfather actually being the role model
- 38:25Speaker 2: or the stepmother being actual, actual positive influence in the
- 38:34Speaker 2: kids life. I just think that it has to be
- 38:36Speaker 2: done right, Like I think it has to be done
- 38:39Speaker 2: without hiding. I think it needs to be done without
- 38:41Speaker 2: with everybody seeing everybody get along. A lot of times
- 38:45Speaker 2: the confusion comes in, I believe, is when adults are
- 38:48Speaker 2: confused and adults aren't talking. A kid doesn't can only
- 38:51Speaker 2: sense when something's wrong, and they can con sense when
- 38:53Speaker 2: something's wrong through the adults. But we don't know norms,
- 38:56Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying. A child, especially a young child,
- 38:59Speaker 2: doesn't know what's normal or what's not normal, or what
- 39:02Speaker 2: this view of things is. It's that's what we do.
- 39:06Speaker 2: That's what we do to them. So if I see
- 39:09Speaker 2: if I see my stepdad and my dad shooting basketball outside,
- 39:13Speaker 2: and I'm a young kid and I see them getting
- 39:15Speaker 2: along and smiling and everybody happy, and this is I'm
- 39:18Speaker 2: not gonna feel slighted. That's my dad, that's Chuck, and
- 39:22Speaker 2: that's my mom. Chuck' still live with my mom. When
- 39:24Speaker 2: I go to my dad's house, this is this friend.
- 39:26Speaker 2: Everybody gets along, we go Christmas and everybody got gifts.
- 39:29Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying.
- 39:30Speaker 2: That person can grow up with a sense of community
- 39:33Speaker 2: opposed to a sense of like, oh, I feel away
- 39:35Speaker 2: now if every time Chuck see my dad is a thing,
- 39:39Speaker 2: or they talking shit about them, or this person saying something,
- 39:42Speaker 2: Now the kid is experiencing trauma because they like.
- 39:46Speaker 1: Ah, who's right, who's wrong?
- 39:47Speaker 3: Who do I love?
- 39:48Speaker 1: Blah da da dah.
- 39:49Speaker 2: I think that comes more from the parents than just
- 39:52Speaker 2: having another But what about this that you've experienced this
- 39:55Speaker 2: you will see it. I think we've all probably seen it.
- 40:00Speaker 1: It is where it's where the new person trumps the
- 40:04Speaker 1: dad because he's he's he's around all the time. So
- 40:07Speaker 1: now they're trying to build a pseudo family and and
- 40:12Speaker 1: and so it's dad's weekend. Now we're planning were planning
- 40:16Speaker 1: to go to the Great America. Sorry you skipped it.
- 40:19Speaker 1: Now you skip it. We got this going on now
- 40:21Speaker 1: you skip Now you instead of seeing like your normal schedule.
- 40:24Speaker 1: Now then now they got down there once a month,
- 40:27Speaker 1: Because now.
- 40:28Speaker 2: That should be I think that should be handled. The
- 40:30Speaker 2: child shouldn't even know about the the.
- 40:32Speaker 1: Child that was gonna know about it. But I'm saying
- 40:34Speaker 1: you've seen it the child people.
- 40:36Speaker 2: Because if you're saying, if they having that conversation in
- 40:39Speaker 2: front of the child, and the child hears, no, he
- 40:42Speaker 2: can't go we going here, that's the that's what the
- 40:45Speaker 2: child shouldn't hear.
- 40:47Speaker 5: That's the issue.
- 40:48Speaker 2: It shouldn't. The child should never hear that conversation. Child
- 40:51Speaker 2: should get directions. The child should hear from there. Yeah,
- 40:55Speaker 2: it does happen, for sure, but the child should hear
- 40:58Speaker 2: from their dad, mom and stepdad that they either going
- 41:01Speaker 2: or they ain't. And it should all be one unified front.
- 41:04Speaker 2: And if it's all you, the one unified front, it
- 41:05Speaker 2: can be fine, yes, but if it's not, that's where
- 41:08Speaker 2: you start. That's where the child is confused.
- 41:11Speaker 1: I've seen it on when somebody is playing with it
- 41:14Speaker 1: doing that way, where they become that situation, the new situation.
- 41:19Speaker 1: Trump's your normal routine. Yeah, I c and I've been
- 41:24Speaker 1: in a situation where a they don't play with my
- 41:27Speaker 1: normal routine, they don't play and it's and it's and
- 41:30Speaker 1: the one where they did not play with my normal
- 41:33Speaker 1: routine no matter what they had going on, is there.
- 41:37Speaker 1: It's the more successful situation, right.
- 41:39Speaker 4: And so the issues that that child will develop from
- 41:41Speaker 4: their relate from the mother playing with with whoever. You
- 41:44Speaker 4: know what I'm saying, those are that's on the mother's part.
- 41:47Speaker 4: That's completely on the parent that moved on. And if
- 41:49Speaker 4: they want to start playing games with their new partner
- 41:51Speaker 4: and telling them and discrediting the birth father. That's on
- 41:54Speaker 4: the mother that your child may feel issues from that
- 41:56Speaker 4: because you play those games. And that's why when you
- 41:59Speaker 4: leave a home, when a couple breaks up after having
- 42:01Speaker 4: a child, y'all have to both agree to put the
- 42:04Speaker 4: child first, take your feelings out of it, take all that.
- 42:07Speaker 4: Everybody got to be mature and come together and agree,
- 42:10Speaker 4: Like you know, there's no way the man should have
- 42:12Speaker 4: the new man should have came into the relationship and
- 42:14Speaker 4: wanted to play on your top. He should come in
- 42:16Speaker 4: and want to give you nothing but respect and gratitude
- 42:18Speaker 4: if he truly loves that child, you know.
- 42:20Speaker 3: What I'm saying. That's why I hate when women get
- 42:22Speaker 3: with men who have kids and.
- 42:24Speaker 4: You come into the relationship thinking you're finna play on
- 42:26Speaker 4: his baby mama top, Like, no, that's that's that's their mother.
- 42:30Speaker 4: You should come in ready to offer them for respect.
- 42:33Speaker 4: And as the mother, you may not like that your
- 42:35Speaker 4: partner moved on, but you also got to put your
- 42:37Speaker 4: feelings aside and come into the situation and be a
- 42:40Speaker 4: leader and be and be respectful of every the new situation.
- 42:44Speaker 4: So it's all about putting the kids first. And I
- 42:46Speaker 4: think when we when both parties agree to do that,
- 42:48Speaker 4: it can be a successful situation.
- 42:51Speaker 1: I love that. I love that. Say that, I love that.
- 42:54Speaker 1: Let's put on. Also to Anthony Mack, he said something
- 42:58Speaker 1: and we don't have to stay too long on this one,
- 43:00Speaker 1: but he also said success is given, it's not earned.
- 43:05Speaker 1: So he was like he sees basically like, yo, I
- 43:07Speaker 1: see people in Hollywood. They act, and they've been acting
- 43:10Speaker 1: their whole life, and then they meet the right person
- 43:13Speaker 1: and then now they bla. He was like, I've been acting,
- 43:15Speaker 1: I've been doing the Broadway shows, I've been doing this,
- 43:19Speaker 1: and I met the right person. Now I'm Captain of America.
- 43:23Speaker 1: So what do you think about that?
- 43:24Speaker 4: It's a mixture of both. I won't I won't say.
- 43:27Speaker 4: You know, it's not completely given. You gotta have because
- 43:29Speaker 4: you can be given the opportunity. Once you get it,
- 43:31Speaker 4: you gotta show up, and if you can't show up,
- 43:34Speaker 4: it won't last long. We've seen it with people getting
- 43:35Speaker 4: record deals.
- 43:36Speaker 3: We've seen it.
- 43:37Speaker 4: They come out, they do something viral, they get a
- 43:39Speaker 4: record deal. After that song is done, it's overweight because
- 43:42Speaker 4: you couldn't you couldn't rise to the occasion. And that's
- 43:45Speaker 4: where I kind of feel comforted even in all of us.
- 43:47Speaker 4: Like you know, we may meet somebody and get a
- 43:50Speaker 4: great opportunity, or have a friend in a high place
- 43:52Speaker 4: and get a great opportunity. But the true test is
- 43:56Speaker 4: if I can sustain where I'm at, you know what
- 43:58Speaker 4: I'm saying. So, yeah, if I knew somebody, if I
- 44:01Speaker 4: wish Oprah was my auntie, you know what I'm saying.
- 44:04Speaker 4: But if Oprah gave me a show on the own network,
- 44:06Speaker 4: if I don't have any.
- 44:07Speaker 3: Talent, it ain't gonna last. So that's why I think
- 44:10Speaker 3: he was what he said.
- 44:11Speaker 4: It is true to some aspect, but it's nothing to
- 44:13Speaker 4: get worked up about, because at the end of the day,
- 44:15Speaker 4: the cream gonna rise to the top and everybody else
- 44:17Speaker 4: gonna It's like everything done in the dark, it will
- 44:20Speaker 4: come to light. The lights are gonna come on. And
- 44:22Speaker 4: if you if you don't have the talent and you
- 44:24Speaker 4: can't perform, it's gonna it's gonna read that. So when
- 44:27Speaker 4: you when you taken opportunities knowing that you're not prepared
- 44:30Speaker 4: for him, just know the repercussion after that, it's very
- 44:32Speaker 4: hard to come back for because once we see you,
- 44:34Speaker 4: once you get that first impression and you don't show
- 44:37Speaker 4: up to it, to the occasion, we're gonna look at
- 44:39Speaker 4: you like a clown, like look at I hate to
- 44:41Speaker 4: bring him up, but Jello y'all was like, the songs
- 44:43Speaker 4: are hit and then he started performing at all stun
- 44:46Speaker 4: and y'all like, what the hell is this?
- 44:48Speaker 3: I think you never forget those first impressions.
- 44:50Speaker 2: I think what Mackie was talking about, though, was once
- 44:52Speaker 2: you're past that level where everybody's talented, when you get
- 44:55Speaker 2: into the rooms where everybody's talented, he was saying that
- 44:59Speaker 2: you talented on to you talented, you talented, you talented.
- 45:01Speaker 5: Black and only take one. And he was saying I
- 45:04Speaker 5: think he was saying, like, it's.
- 45:05Speaker 3: Given, but you can't give me nothing. If I have
- 45:07Speaker 3: the talent for it, I deserve it.
- 45:08Speaker 2: I earned it right. But he's saying, you're picked. It's
- 45:12Speaker 2: more what he said, but he said in the clip
- 45:14Speaker 2: was that you're picked. Okay, you know what I'm saying.
- 45:16Speaker 2: I can't get mad at that, which is fine, so
- 45:18Speaker 2: it does. I agree with him in that sense. But
- 45:21Speaker 2: on the other hand of things where you talk about this,
- 45:24Speaker 2: I don't like when we when we put success as
- 45:30Speaker 2: being on television or success is being Captain America or
- 45:35Speaker 2: a success?
- 45:36Speaker 5: You don't what is success because objective to everybody objective.
- 45:40Speaker 5: So when you say when.
- 45:41Speaker 1: He's Captain of America is kind of successful.
- 45:44Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying when you're saying he's successful,
- 45:49Speaker 2: but Captain America but so, but but being Carrius Johnson
- 45:55Speaker 2: ain't being successful?
- 45:56Speaker 5: Yes, it is that success.
- 45:59Speaker 2: I'm just very could come. I mean, I get what
- 46:02Speaker 2: you're saying. But it's success, success and success, you know
- 46:06Speaker 2: what I'm saying. Like somebody like I, there's levels to success.
- 46:10Speaker 2: It is level No, it's levels to fame and money.
- 46:13Speaker 1: Yes, the success is a part of fame and money.
- 46:16Speaker 1: That's all.
- 46:16Speaker 2: The success is your successes. That's what we disagree. Success
- 46:19Speaker 2: is your mentality. Success is what you think. Do you
- 46:22Speaker 2: think you successful?
- 46:23Speaker 1: Yes?
- 46:24Speaker 2: I think I think I'm successful. But if Oprah walk
- 46:26Speaker 2: up with our bank accounts, she would probably think she
- 46:28Speaker 2: was unsuccessful and something went wrong.
- 46:30Speaker 5: Exactly, but you're successful.
- 46:33Speaker 4: He.
- 46:37Speaker 1: Would be up.
- 46:38Speaker 2: She wouldn't be able to get out of bed with
- 46:41Speaker 2: our bank accounts. But we think we're successful. So that
- 46:43Speaker 2: tells me that success isn't necessarily a thing. Success is
- 46:47Speaker 2: a mentality level.
- 46:50Speaker 1: It's levels. You just saying that, but you just said
- 46:53Speaker 1: that you feel successful? Is I feel successful at my level?
- 46:59Speaker 1: I feel success? Does this somebody that it's somebody that
- 47:01Speaker 1: just got their first first college radio station and they
- 47:05Speaker 1: just successful and they successful. But if so, let's go
- 47:09Speaker 1: back to what Mackie just said. Mackie said, people were picked.
- 47:12Speaker 1: I'm taking it back to what Mackie said.
- 47:13Speaker 2: Mackie said, people were picked and only certain people are
- 47:16Speaker 2: going to be successful. And that's why I disagree with him,
- 47:19Speaker 2: because you don't know what people's level of success is
- 47:22Speaker 2: and what they even want and what they deem successful.
- 47:25Speaker 2: If you're talking about Hollywood, then yes, only some are picked.
- 47:29Speaker 2: The most talented might not even be picked. But that's
- 47:32Speaker 2: in but that's in every that's in every genre, which
- 47:35Speaker 2: you can't say that somebody else is less successful. And
- 47:37Speaker 2: what he was trying to do was say that with
- 47:40Speaker 2: that whole clip, bringing context to that clip. What he
- 47:42Speaker 2: was saying is that we're lying to kids.
- 47:44Speaker 5: That's what he said.
- 47:45Speaker 2: He said, we're lying to our kids and telling them
- 47:47Speaker 2: that if they work hard, they'll be successful.
- 47:49Speaker 5: And they that that people are And I disagree because.
- 47:55Speaker 1: Let me say this, I do the hard work. That
- 47:59Speaker 1: hard work the point of the clip. The hard work
- 48:02Speaker 1: you tell your kids, the hard work you become successful.
- 48:05Speaker 1: I truly believe. And yes, you do get picked. But
- 48:07Speaker 1: the hard work puts you in the room to get picked.
- 48:12Speaker 1: And so the hard work puts you in the room
- 48:14Speaker 1: with all the other hard working, talented people. And now
- 48:18Speaker 1: that's where okay, maybe the uh you're being able to
- 48:23Speaker 1: have a great conversation with somebody or they just like
- 48:25Speaker 1: you a likable person. That's what it starts, weeding people
- 48:28Speaker 1: out of it. But if the hard work gets you
- 48:30Speaker 1: into the room to get picked, that's what I'm And
- 48:32Speaker 1: so when he said that, I was just like, now
- 48:34Speaker 1: I'm not lying to my kid. By telling hard work,
- 48:38Speaker 1: you immediately get rid of the lazy people. You immediately separate,
- 48:43Speaker 1: separate yourself from a lazy talented people. And now you
- 48:45Speaker 1: start to put yourself into the room of the talented,
- 48:48Speaker 1: hard working people. And that's what the picking happens.
- 48:50Speaker 5: Can you why you say you agree with that?
- 48:52Speaker 4: I don't remember, because I didn't agree with so much
- 48:54Speaker 4: suff today. All right, but what I like it where
- 48:58Speaker 4: tone is going?
- 48:59Speaker 1: Because he said what you say, I just said the
- 49:02Speaker 1: hard work with you in the room.
- 49:03Speaker 3: With all the other times the hard work puts you
- 49:05Speaker 3: in the room.
- 49:06Speaker 5: Don't worry about that. Don't worry about.
- 49:10Speaker 3: If Johnny had two.
- 49:11Speaker 6: Apples, Jesus could she started doing this. Can get on
- 49:15Speaker 6: the edge and put her hands up. She don't know
- 49:17Speaker 6: what's going on. What I say said okay, okay, so
- 49:22Speaker 6: so what you say.
- 49:23Speaker 1: I said, hard work, But.
- 49:27Speaker 5: Don't next topic, Let's talk about something else.
- 49:31Speaker 3: I agree with you.
- 49:32Speaker 4: I mean all I know, and I work hard. Okay,
- 49:39Speaker 4: I work on it worked out for me. Get your
- 49:42Speaker 4: ass up and do some work. Stop all that think
- 49:45Speaker 4: you're supposed to get something and it's supposed to be
- 49:47Speaker 4: given to you.
- 49:47Speaker 3: Got to do some work. No nobody want to talk
- 49:49Speaker 3: to you if you ain't doing the work. Okay, that's
- 49:51Speaker 3: what I want to say.
- 49:52Speaker 1: That is true. That is the fact. And I do
- 49:54Speaker 1: like what you say. If we see people get TV shows,
- 49:57Speaker 1: podcast deals, all types of stuff, if you don't show
- 50:01Speaker 1: up when they give it to you, it's not happening
- 50:04Speaker 1: for you.
- 50:04Speaker 4: And you have to be honest with your kids. I
- 50:06Speaker 4: think too, and tell them though it's more to hard work,
- 50:10Speaker 4: because I ain't gonna lie. I wanted them people that thought,
- 50:12Speaker 4: if I just work hard, it's gonna happen. Somebody's gonna
- 50:16Speaker 4: look and say, she works hard, she deserves it.
- 50:19Speaker 3: That's not the case.
- 50:20Speaker 1: That's not the case.
- 50:21Speaker 3: You have to ask for what you want.
- 50:24Speaker 2: But when you ask, please have the hard work there
- 50:28Speaker 2: that people can reference back to. Yes, because you look
- 50:31Speaker 2: like a fool when you ask for stuff that you
- 50:33Speaker 2: haven't earned.
- 50:34Speaker 4: And I think so, I think honestly, that's why I
- 50:36Speaker 4: was confused, because you need to add both pieces.
- 50:39Speaker 3: You could tell your kids to work hard, but work
- 50:41Speaker 3: working hardest.
- 50:42Speaker 4: There's a lot of people working hard that's been working
- 50:43Speaker 4: for forty years in the same position because they never
- 50:46Speaker 4: opened their mouth and ask for more.
- 50:48Speaker 3: I had that real bad, like real bad.
- 50:50Speaker 4: Like if I just sit here and look pretty and
- 50:51Speaker 4: work hard and then work my ass off, somebody's gonna
- 50:54Speaker 4: give me something for sure, right because work, hard, work
- 50:57Speaker 4: gets it.
- 50:57Speaker 3: No, you have to ask.
- 50:58Speaker 4: It's a lot of people that are way less qualified
- 51:02Speaker 4: and less talented than you that are asking for stuff
- 51:04Speaker 4: they ain't got no business asking for. So my advice
- 51:07Speaker 4: is doe to work, but also advocate for yourself. And
- 51:10Speaker 4: when you advocate for yourself, have the credentials to be
- 51:14Speaker 4: asking for the stuff you're asking for, so that you
- 51:15Speaker 4: don't get opportunities that make everybody look at you like
- 51:18Speaker 4: you delutionional but asking for I.
- 51:20Speaker 1: Should tell my boss all the time, my first boss
- 51:23Speaker 1: at radio, Hey, I don't want to keep pushing buttons.
- 51:26Speaker 1: Got my whole career. I'm not pushing my but I'm
- 51:28Speaker 1: not pushing, but I gotta talk. I gotta be a radio.
- 51:31Speaker 1: And while I was saying it, I was practicing and
- 51:34Speaker 1: also preparing to say, hey, if you ain't gonna give
- 51:38Speaker 1: me an opportunity, I'm putting stuff out here because I'm
- 51:41Speaker 1: getting this opportunity.
- 51:42Speaker 4: And people leaders know that leaders can look around the
- 51:46Speaker 4: room and say and see that person is a hard worker,
- 51:49Speaker 4: but they haven't advocated for theirselfs, So maybe they happy
- 51:51Speaker 4: just pushing buttons. But when you speak up and say
- 51:54Speaker 4: I want to do more, then that's when they look
- 51:56Speaker 4: at the work that you've put in, and good for
- 51:58Speaker 4: all of us, we have put that work in.
- 52:00Speaker 3: But if you don't have the work, then you just
- 52:01Speaker 3: look chrazy.
- 52:01Speaker 2: So here's the thing that I learned very early, and
- 52:04Speaker 2: I think that helped me through life. And I don't
- 52:06Speaker 2: want to teach this to y'all real quick. Nobody gives
- 52:09Speaker 2: a damn about what you got going on. So in
- 52:13Speaker 2: Key's example where she said, I just gonna come to
- 52:15Speaker 2: work and if I work hard, I'm gonna do that,
- 52:17Speaker 2: ain't nobody sitting in their meeting.
- 52:22Speaker 1: I wonder what Kiki want to do.
- 52:24Speaker 2: I'm pretty sure that she wants more and she would
- 52:27Speaker 2: like to do this and do that, because guess what,
- 52:30Speaker 2: they're doing their work too. So everybody lives in their
- 52:33Speaker 2: own world, but a lot of times we think that
- 52:36Speaker 2: everybody sees us like we see ourselves, and we think
- 52:40Speaker 2: everything is personal. That's why I don't get mad when
- 52:42Speaker 2: people do stuff. It feels like I don't give a
- 52:44Speaker 2: damn because I know you mad it has to do
- 52:47Speaker 2: with you. Ain't gonna do with me about me that
- 52:49Speaker 2: much to be mad at me, And for real, you
- 52:51Speaker 2: know it's something that got to do. Something I said
- 52:54Speaker 2: or something that happened triggered you to react this way
- 52:56Speaker 2: that ain't got nothing to do with me, And I
- 52:58Speaker 2: know it don't cause you don't think about me like
- 52:59Speaker 2: that because it's you and your world, and that's what
- 53:02Speaker 2: we have to realize. That's why we can't get emotional,
- 53:04Speaker 2: overly emotional about anything.
- 53:06Speaker 1: You can get.
- 53:07Speaker 2: Overlea this and overly that, because no body decay.
- 53:11Speaker 3: We are trying to clock out.
- 53:12Speaker 2: Everybody's going to everybody has their routine, and everybody's doing that.
- 53:17Speaker 5: There's the same thing.
- 53:18Speaker 2: Everybody's trying to figure out the same twenty four okay,
- 53:21Speaker 2: and then once you figure that out, then you be like, oh,
- 53:23Speaker 2: so to move up, I have to actually say something
- 53:26Speaker 2: to the people who can actually make something happen for me,
- 53:29Speaker 2: and then give them a reason to want to do
- 53:32Speaker 2: that for you know, for you to be its be
- 53:35Speaker 2: mad if they say no, you gotta have They say,
- 53:37Speaker 2: you gotta have the hard work, and you gotta advocate.
- 53:41Speaker 2: If you don't have, you gotta know somebody, You gotta network,
- 53:43Speaker 2: you gotta get in these rooms. If you don't know,
- 53:45Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying, If you just work, if
- 53:46Speaker 2: you so in the sense of him saying, if you
- 53:48Speaker 2: just work hard, yeah, you probably not gonna get nowhere.
- 53:50Speaker 2: You're just gonna be a hard worker.
- 53:52Speaker 5: Yeah, my uncle worked forty years your worker. Yeah, I'm
- 53:55Speaker 5: pretty sure he worked hard every day, right, shout out
- 53:59Speaker 5: to way harder me.
- 54:01Speaker 3: It's a it's a it's a mix.
- 54:03Speaker 1: Absolutely all right, before we get about it, here episodes
- 54:07Speaker 1: we got two hundred episodes. It's an educational two hundred
- 54:11Speaker 1: episodes we got on our soap boxes. But I would
- 54:14Speaker 1: like to say this podfam, listen, we get it important
- 54:17Speaker 1: out here in this podcast is space and media space.
- 54:21Speaker 1: I got cursed out by celebrity over last week.
- 54:31Speaker 5: Are bringing it up.
- 54:32Speaker 1: We cannot say who why, Let's play out of No,
- 54:38Speaker 1: and I guess no, No, we are not saying nothing,
- 54:42Speaker 1: but we got cursed out, but we mean and me, uh,
- 54:46Speaker 1: it was it was cool, It was a it was
- 54:48Speaker 1: an interesting conversation conversation about it. No, I don't want
- 54:55Speaker 1: to No, I don't want to talk about it, but
- 54:58Speaker 1: you know what I what I do know is that
- 54:59Speaker 1: we getting it, We're getting important. And then I do
- 55:03Speaker 1: like and when we have when people call me, I'm
- 55:05Speaker 1: gonna we're gonna have a very spirited debate about what's
- 55:10Speaker 1: going on.
- 55:12Speaker 5: That's the way saying, don't piss me off.
- 55:15Speaker 2: But I tell y'all, man, people gonna feel how they feel,
- 55:18Speaker 2: and that's how they have the right to feel how
- 55:20Speaker 2: they want to feel.
- 55:21Speaker 5: Okay, and that gets what that change what we say but.
- 55:23Speaker 1: I will want to say this out loud. I do
- 55:28Speaker 1: say this out loud. We don't ever question me about
- 55:33Speaker 1: how I do this. I've been doing this for a
- 55:35Speaker 1: very long time and making money at it. I'm a
- 55:38Speaker 1: professional personality. I don't do I don't know, I ain't
- 55:42Speaker 1: doing no. I don't got no deals, I don't got nothing.
- 55:44Speaker 1: I got this and they pay me to talk. Don't
- 55:48Speaker 1: ever question me. I've been doing this since you ask
- 55:51Speaker 1: your mama, can you go outside? That's really all I
- 55:56Speaker 1: want to say.
- 55:57Speaker 4: That didn't really eat you, ain't really eating up friend
- 55:59Speaker 4: like you. That look, we got it, We gotta What
- 56:02Speaker 4: he wanted to say was, don't play on his top. Okay,
- 56:06Speaker 4: he talked with palm baby. You better ask about him
- 56:08Speaker 4: in these streets period.
- 56:09Speaker 1: Okay, Hey, look I I when I'm talking about you,
- 56:14Speaker 1: I'm usually trying to turn, especially if i know you,
- 56:17Speaker 1: I try to turn the the angle away from you,
- 56:21Speaker 1: if that makes sense, and make it a joke and
- 56:23Speaker 1: have fun with it. I'm never trying to be malicious
- 56:25Speaker 1: and honestly man, like you said, we said the beginning
- 56:28Speaker 1: of the pod is after we finish these stories, we
- 56:31Speaker 1: don't get it at all.
- 56:35Speaker 2: On to the next You know, I don't even remember
- 56:38Speaker 2: what I said, but you know that's my father thought. Yeah,
- 56:42Speaker 2: don't take it, don't take it personal.
- 56:45Speaker 1: Don't take it.
- 56:45Speaker 2: I don't got no edges when you go to bed.
- 56:47Speaker 2: If I ever said something about you at night like,
- 56:49Speaker 2: I don't have edges. So just know that that's why
- 56:52Speaker 2: I talk how reckless like that. So please don't get
- 56:56Speaker 2: upset with me because sorry, yep, Zach, I thought, well,
- 57:01Speaker 2: I thought that we were going to give an announcement
- 57:03Speaker 2: on this podcast.
- 57:05Speaker 1: Damn for god, you maybe keep it sitting so long
- 57:09Speaker 1: I forgot.
- 57:10Speaker 2: I thought we was giving a big two hundred episode announcement.
- 57:16Speaker 5: But y'all want to just forget about it.
- 57:18Speaker 1: No, it is time for the two hundredth episode.
- 57:20Speaker 3: Come on, please, okay, tones getting married?
- 57:31Speaker 5: You moved your camera, moved my camera?
- 57:33Speaker 3: All right. The announcement is.
- 57:40Speaker 1: We heard you.
- 57:42Speaker 2: We've heard you, potfam, We've heard how you said you
- 57:44Speaker 2: wanted more? What more can I say? Podcast?
- 57:47Speaker 5: And guess what?
- 57:48Speaker 2: On the two hundredth episode, we want to announce that
- 57:50Speaker 2: we're here to deliver that. Not only will we be potting,
- 57:54Speaker 2: we are moving from potting once a week to now
- 57:58Speaker 2: three times a week.
- 58:00Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yes, this is for you guys.
- 58:06Speaker 2: We will be potting on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, giving
- 58:10Speaker 2: you three episodes or what more can I say podcast

- 58:17Speaker 2: But we've been seeing it and we've been wanting to
- 58:18Speaker 2: increase the volume for you guys, and we're happy to
- 58:22Speaker 2: do it.

- 58:33Speaker 2: to talk about.
- 58:33Speaker 5: And that's all I got to say. Man, I'm excited.
- 58:35Speaker 5: What you think?
- 58:36Speaker 3: I'm excited? You know I am so excited.
- 58:39Speaker 5: You are not excited? Excited? What about you?
- 58:42Speaker 1: Ton? I'm excited, man, because the stuff that happened on
- 58:45Speaker 1: Monday or over the weekend, I don't have to wait
- 58:48Speaker 1: and you know, my short term memory messed up wait
- 58:51Speaker 1: to get it offs on Wednesday with y'all. So it's finally, man,
- 58:55Speaker 1: we get a chance to give everybody a pod every

- 59:05Speaker 3: And it's not like the T shirts were really gonna do.
- 59:07Speaker 2: This, right, We're really gonna do this, you know what
- 59:10Speaker 2: I'm saying. We've we've we've added to our team, we
- 59:15Speaker 2: have done the preparation. We have discussed this for weeks.
- 59:19Speaker 2: And y'all seen the flyer? Did they see it?
- 59:25Speaker 1: Yeah? They saw the flying You didn't make a fly
- 59:27Speaker 1: did you? Okay? Because we got new pictures to a
- 59:33Speaker 1: whole vote on debuting the new picks, So what do
- 59:37Speaker 1: we do? So I think this is what we should do.
- 59:41Speaker 1: We should put the three We should put the three
- 59:44Speaker 1: or four picks up and let the pot vote on
- 59:47Speaker 1: on the on the on the picks that we're gonna
- 59:50Speaker 1: use for the promo, and hopefully y'all pick a good one,
- 59:53Speaker 1: because not we're just gonna use it, won't we want to?
- 59:56Speaker 3: Maybe this is what you call the staff me there
- 1:00:00Speaker 3: and I love it. No idea is a bad idea, Tom.
- 1:00:03Speaker 3: So yes, we're gonna put up no prost.
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: We're gonna fike the last graphy.
- 1:00:09Speaker 3: We may have misspellings on it and a kind of stuff.
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: I definitely not I'm telling because I mean I mean
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: off of edible making.
- 1:00:17Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, we learned we had a live tapping, live tapping.
- 1:00:22Speaker 5: Yeah, you know, but yeah that was the news.
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: Though. You know what I'm saying. How have we we
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: we presented to you. We did want you to know

- 1:00:42Speaker 2: I'm gonna tell you, if y'all don't watch it, maybe
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: we're going back. We're going back to till we're going
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: back to one. Okay, so y'all better watch it. Ain't
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: doing all this work and y'all ain't gonna be watching

- 1:01:53Speaker 2: live tapping.
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: That was fun.

- 1:01:58Speaker 2: then as far as like like tense stuff. I mean,
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: you gotta think when tone was Puerto Rican.
- 1:02:04Speaker 3: I watched that the other day. The DNA results.

- 1:02:33Speaker 3: And where we at We're back in Atlanta.

- 1:03:10Speaker 1: my shoulder knocked over by a little thing to come
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: down the aisle. It's all good. I think my favorite,
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: My favorite was when well, I would say the moment
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: that I always remember, it's probably the funniest is what
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: Keiky said she would she went, she went to been
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: the fourteen and woke husky.

- 1:03:54Speaker 1: talking and having a good time. We on zoom in
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: here talking and just to look at where it grew
