- 0:00Speaker 1: The rush hour with james golden entertaining and informative on
- 0:04Speaker 1: the red apple podcast network.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Well half a million people participated in the demonstrations which
- 0:12Speaker 2: political leaders stressed were mostly peaceful and more than 2
- 0:16Speaker 2: 000 people have been detained by police in connection with
- 0:18Speaker 2: saturday's violence and at least two deaths have been linked
- 0:22Speaker 2: to the protests.
- 0:25Speaker 3: You gotta give it to cnn they are cnn whether
- 0:28Speaker 3: it's international Whether it's domestic, see it in... The protest
- 0:33Speaker 3: has been mostly peaceful. Which politicians say is mostly peaceful.
- 0:37Speaker 3: Mostly peaceful. My... Just look at the videos. Look at
- 0:46Speaker 3: the videos coming in from overseas. And by the way,
- 0:49Speaker 3: it is not just France. You know there were riots
- 0:53Speaker 3: in Albania. There were riots in Italy as well. If
- 0:58Speaker 3: people are trying to spread this, certain entities, whoever is
- 1:02Speaker 3: behind this, and we have a good idea of some
- 1:04Speaker 3: of the parties involved, are trying to spread it throughout
- 1:08Speaker 3: the European Union. Welcome to the Monday edition of Boston
- 1:13Speaker 3: Early Rush Hour, ladies and gentlemen, the fastest hour in
- 1:17Speaker 3: American media. There are so many things going on overseas
- 1:21Speaker 3: worth discussing. This riot, of course. is just front and center.
- 1:26Speaker 3: But things here domestically, Carlos, please grab number 13 from
- 1:33Speaker 3: the Seditionist, please, and let me know when you have it.
- 1:36Speaker 3: One of the seditionists in the United States Senate also
- 1:40Speaker 3: had something to say. Just go ahead and fire that
- 1:42Speaker 3: one off. Let's do it.
- 1:43Speaker 4: That's what I'm saying.
- 1:44Speaker 5: I want to look at these signature cases and not
- 1:47Speaker 5: just focus on the president, but on the people who
- 1:49Speaker 5: enabled him. I want young people coming out of school
- 1:53Speaker 5: to say, should I go work for the Trump administration? Like,
- 1:55Speaker 5: that sounds fun. I might get an opportunity. I want
- 1:58Speaker 5: them to be like, Lord, that might be buying myself.
- 2:01Speaker 5: a ton of problems that I don't want. And so
- 2:04Speaker 5: let me avoid participating in that. I want that deterrence message.
- 2:10Speaker 3: That is the former CIA person, one of the seditionists
- 2:17Speaker 3: in the United States. We refer to her affectionately as
- 2:20Speaker 3: one of the sedition six. Alyssa Slotkin, who wants Republicans,
- 2:27Speaker 3: she wants to put so much lawfare on a law
- 2:31Speaker 3: fair on Republicans that youngsters coming out, don't want to
- 2:36Speaker 3: get involved in the political process. And she doubled down.
- 2:39Speaker 3: She's being widely criticized for that, but she's doubled down
- 2:44Speaker 3: on that too. We have that to go. Let us,
- 2:48Speaker 3: and look, we're just going to go through some of
- 2:50Speaker 3: this stuff. We'll settle in on this France thing. Cause
- 2:53Speaker 3: I got it. I don't want to miss some of
- 2:56Speaker 3: the other things that are important in, besides the riots.
- 3:02Speaker 3: I got a story here from KTLA. It's in other places.
- 3:09Speaker 3: The DOJ accuses 28 foreign nationals in California of voting
- 3:15Speaker 3: and registration violations. That happened today.
- 3:18Speaker 6: The U.S.
- 3:22Speaker 3: Attorney out there, excuse me, folks, Bill Saley, for the U.S.
- 3:29Speaker 3: Attorney for the Central District of California, says he believes
- 3:32Speaker 3: 11 of the 28 are already in custody. The charges
- 3:36Speaker 3: against the 28 included unlawful voting by alien, a false
- 3:41Speaker 3: claim of U.S. citizenship in order to vote, to register
- 3:43Speaker 3: to vote, knowingly depriving the residents of California of a
- 3:47Speaker 3: fair and impartial election process. That is what the 28
- 3:52Speaker 3: of them. Now, remember, California is in still dealing with
- 3:57Speaker 3: the legalities. The Trump administration is trying to get a
- 3:59Speaker 3: hold of their voter rolls to check against citizenship. It's
- 4:02Speaker 3: in court. It's one of those many, many cases in court.
- 4:06Speaker 3: But I want you to go listen to CBS. 60
- 4:09Speaker 3: Minutes and Leslie Stahl, the diehard liberal over at 60 Minutes. Listen,
- 4:15Speaker 3: she had Harmeet Dhillon on, DOJ head of civil rights.
- 4:19Speaker 3: Cut number two. This is from 60 Minutes.
- 4:23Speaker 7: Non-citizens cannot vote in federal elections. So the question is
- 4:26Speaker 7: simply how many of.
- 4:27Speaker 8: Them there are. Harmeet Dhillon, the head of the civil
- 4:30Speaker 8: rights division of the Justice Department, has spearheaded the government's
- 4:34Speaker 8: voter roll initiative. She spoke to us from California. There
- 4:39Speaker 8: are people who feel that the point is to sow
- 4:43Speaker 8: distrust about the whole election system. There are very few
- 4:46Speaker 8: people who are non-citizens who end up voting, very, very few.
- 4:51Speaker 8: And so, therefore, what's the purpose?
- 4:54Speaker 7: The point is actually the opposite of what you were saying.
- 4:56Speaker 7: It's not to sow distrust. The distrust is there. And
- 4:59Speaker 7: so all of these kinds of crimes are being prosecuted
- 5:02Speaker 7: now for the first time, really, in volume. And even
- 5:06Speaker 7: the Biden administration prosecuted 13 people for non-citizen voting.
- 5:10Speaker 8: 13 people. I mean, the numbers are tiny.
- 5:16Speaker 7: So, Leslie, we've been in office for less than two years.
- 5:19Speaker 7: We've had investigations ongoing for over a year. And it
- 5:22Speaker 7: takes time. There are literally thousands of them out there
- 5:25Speaker 7: that we are looking at.
- 5:27Speaker 3: Do you hear this apologist? 13 people. That's tiny. Well,
- 5:35Speaker 3: how many is acceptable for you, Leslie Stahl and CBS
- 5:40Speaker 3: 60 Minutes? How many people are acceptable before you say
- 5:44Speaker 3: people should actually pay attention to it? Would it have
- 5:47Speaker 3: to be in the millions? Would it have to be
- 5:50Speaker 3: several hundred thousand before we should take it seriously? Would
- 5:54Speaker 3: it have to be what? Five, six, seven, eight thousand?
- 5:59Speaker 3: That's just what we know of. Many of the blue
- 6:01Speaker 3: states refuse to turn over their voter rolls. And we
- 6:06Speaker 3: have another 28 today. Add that to the 13. How many, Leslie?
- 6:12Speaker 3: How many is acceptable? Is the point that if they're
- 6:15Speaker 3: illegal immigrants and they're voting, just ignore it because they're
- 6:19Speaker 3: not enough of them. We need more of them before
- 6:22Speaker 3: we actually enforce the law. What is the point of
- 6:27Speaker 3: everything that 60 Minutes, Leslie Stahl, is saying here? It's
- 6:32Speaker 3: not enough to merit doing anything about because the numbers
- 6:39Speaker 3: are too small. No respect for the law. Everything is
- 6:45Speaker 3: hostile when it comes to the American news media and
- 6:52Speaker 3: immigration and the Trump administration. They're always trying to put
- 6:57Speaker 3: the Trump administration members on the defensive for actually doing
- 7:02Speaker 3: their job, which is to enforce American. The numbers are
- 7:06Speaker 3: so tiny.
- 7:12Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 7:13Speaker 3: Okay. By the way, more California news. This is just
- 7:18Speaker 3: a warning. Daily Mail. Giant Pacific wave heads for U.S.
- 7:23Speaker 3: coast as scientists warn of a quintuple whammy flooding threat.
- 7:29Speaker 3: A gigantic wave battling across the Pacific is expected to
- 7:33Speaker 3: crash into the U.S. west coast within days, threatening homes
- 7:39Speaker 3: and communities in the path. Oceanographer Dylan Cronin. Amir from
- 7:45Speaker 3: North Carolina State University said multiple Kelvin waves, K-E-L-V-I-N waves,
- 7:52Speaker 3: are moving north toward the coast, with the next one
- 7:55Speaker 3: expected to reach San Diego by late October or the
- 7:59Speaker 3: first week of November, election week. They might have a
- 8:04Speaker 3: blue wave in California, only not the kind of blue
- 8:08Speaker 3: wave they're used to. The Kelvin wave is a phenomenon...
- 8:13Speaker 3: The planetary scale wave of warm ocean water that forms
- 8:18Speaker 3: when the usual tropic winds weaken during an El Nino.
- 8:22Speaker 3: Let's warm water pile up in the Pacific, slosh east
- 8:29Speaker 3: across the equator, slamming into South America first and then
- 8:33Speaker 3: moving up the coast toward the United States. The result
- 8:37Speaker 3: is a sudden and dramatically higher sea levels of up
- 8:40Speaker 3: to a foot. So just be on the lookout. Be
- 8:46Speaker 3: on the lookout. There may be a big blue wave
- 8:49Speaker 3: in California that is unexpected. That goes along with the fires,
- 8:53Speaker 3: the earthquakes, the mudslides, the occasional jury verdict, the high
- 8:58Speaker 3: gasoline prices, and everything else that you have to deal
- 9:04Speaker 3: with if you're in California, Kate. So we got that
- 9:08Speaker 3: one out of the way. Election. I would love to
- 9:16Speaker 3: hear what Prince Diana thinks about this. We talked about
- 9:18Speaker 3: it briefly. But I just got a text. I got
- 9:27Speaker 3: a text from Lady Benedict. Lady Benedict says, my liberal
- 9:32Speaker 3: friend was a flight attendant who dealt with many of
- 9:34Speaker 3: the elites. Out of all the famous people she waited on,
- 9:39Speaker 3: according to what the information she passed on to Lady Benedict,
- 9:44Speaker 3: Leslie Stahl was the worst. Unsurprising. Anecdotal evidence here. Okay.
- 9:56Speaker 3: I would love to hear what Princess Diana says about this.
- 9:58Speaker 3: Cut one frame. luntz was on cnn and he's talking
- 10:04Speaker 3: about the midterm elections the polls etc here is mr luntz.
- 10:09Speaker 9: What do you think the polls may be missing do
- 10:11Speaker 9: you think they're they're undersampling the kind of voter that
- 10:15Speaker 9: trump usually brings out sort of non-engaged voters that may
- 10:19Speaker 9: not respond to a phone call from a pollster?
- 10:21Speaker 3: We know that they don't respond to phone calls.
- 10:24Speaker 10: We know that in the exit polling back in 2016,
- 10:27Speaker 10: and I say this publicly because I want people to
- 10:30Speaker 10: hear this. You know, I teach at West Point. I
- 10:32Speaker 10: cannot lie, cheat, or steal.
- 10:33Speaker 3: The cadets can't.
- 10:34Speaker 11: I can't.
- 10:35Speaker 10: I got 2016 wrong. I believed in the exit polls.
- 10:39Speaker 10: Trump voters walked away, refused to participate because they thought
- 10:43Speaker 10: that it was against them. They thought that the polls
- 10:46Speaker 10: were all biased. And that's what Republicans are being told
- 10:48Speaker 10: right now.
- 10:49Speaker 3: Don't believe the polls. They're not accurate. Well, they may be.
- 10:53Speaker 10: We're about to find out. But I'm still skeptical. In
- 10:56Speaker 10: the end, Republicans are less likely to participate. They're less
- 10:59Speaker 10: likely to believe the polls are happening. But I'm most
- 11:03Speaker 10: interested in turnout in the end. And there are ways
- 11:06Speaker 10: to measure it. And I'm not convinced that they're doing it.
- 11:09Speaker 10: that they're polling how the electorate overall feels and not polling.
- 11:14Speaker 3: The people actually going to participate. But in the end,
- 11:18Speaker 3: who the hell cares?
- 11:18Speaker 2: How do you get around that, though?
- 11:21Speaker 3: That's why you have to do focus groups. That's why
- 11:23Speaker 3: you have to do one-on-one interviews.
- 11:25Speaker 10: I can tell by looking at you if you're going
- 11:27Speaker 10: to participate or not. And these are people who are
- 11:30Speaker 10: counted in the polls, but I know they're not going
- 11:32Speaker 10: to vote.
- 11:34Speaker 3: They sit like this.
- 11:35Speaker 10: Their hands are folded.
- 11:36Speaker 3: And they don't really care.
- 11:37Speaker 10: They're looking down and looking around because they're not engaged.
- 11:40Speaker 10: They're not involved. And turnout determines everything.
- 11:46Speaker 3: We got the point. By the way, I think there's
- 11:49Speaker 3: something to it. I'm one of those people, by the way.
- 11:53Speaker 3: I remember, I'm old enough to remember when people used
- 11:55Speaker 3: to complain that they never got called for polls. Now,
- 12:00Speaker 3: if you have a mobile phone, And if you have
- 12:02Speaker 3: ever donated to any campaign anywhere, you have posters ringing
- 12:08Speaker 3: out of you every day that you've never heard of.
- 12:11Speaker 3: We're doing a survey for this. We're doing a survey.
- 12:14Speaker 3: Just stop spamming me already. It's just too much. Between that,
- 12:19Speaker 3: the scam calls, the home improvement calls, the calls from
- 12:23Speaker 3: everybody that wants money for something that you've never heard
- 12:26Speaker 3: of from some fund that's supposedly out doing this. Your
- 12:29Speaker 3: phone all day long is nothing hacked. Most of the
- 12:33Speaker 3: calls are spam calls. And so when these posters call,
- 12:38Speaker 3: I'm just like, delete, delete, delete, delete, delete, delete, delete.
- 12:48Speaker 3: And I'm going to vote. And no, I don't want
- 12:50Speaker 3: to take part in the poll. I just want to vote. Aha. 1985,
- 13:01Speaker 3: my friends. Number one on the United States singles charts
- 13:05Speaker 3: with this one. Take on me.
- 13:10Speaker 12: Take on me.
- 13:22Speaker 3: The first Norwegian group to have a number one US head.
- 13:37Speaker 3: Also had an amazing video with this one. Rotoscoping. Pencil
- 13:43Speaker 3: sketch animation combining with live action. Got them a bunch
- 13:50Speaker 3: of awards for the video they put out with their
- 13:52Speaker 3: song on MTV Video Music Awards. And it was the
- 13:58Speaker 3: second video, in fact, to hit over a billion views
- 14:02Speaker 3: on YouTube. The first music video from the 80s to
- 14:08Speaker 3: reach 2 billion YouTube views. We'll be right back, folks.
- 14:14Speaker 3: Don't go away. The riots, yes, we are going to
- 14:17Speaker 3: delve in. Don't go away.
- 14:23Speaker 1: The Rush Hour with James Golden. Entertaining and informative.
- 14:27Speaker 11: On the Red Apple Podcast Network.
- 14:32Speaker 3: Yes, ladies and gentlemen, guess who is in France covering
- 14:37Speaker 3: some of the events that are going on over there?
- 14:41Speaker 3: None other. Well, let's just play them. Cut ten colors.
- 14:45Speaker 4: Unarrested in the streets.
- 14:52Speaker 6: Street signs are getting taken down.
- 14:55Speaker 3: It's nick shirley and what.
- 14:57Speaker 6: Organization are you part of are you part of antifa
- 14:59Speaker 6: yeah the streets of paris are literally on fire police have.
- 15:04Speaker 4: Moved in.
- 15:08Speaker 6: Today i'm here in france right now we have hundreds
- 15:11Speaker 6: of thousands of people set to hit the streets of
- 15:14Speaker 6: paris all across france today they're said to be around
- 15:16Speaker 6: 800 000 protesters you see The cops right here in
- 15:21Speaker 6: all of their riot gear, they have gas masks, their
- 15:23Speaker 6: riot shields, everything else you would need to fight against
- 15:26Speaker 6: the protesters. Today is set to be a day of chaos.
- 15:30Speaker 6: Paris is erupting and the whole entire world's gone mad.
- 15:32Speaker 6: And what do you hope to accomplish today in this protest?
- 15:35Speaker 5: I hope that the people of the world today can
- 15:38Speaker 5: see that if you show up in mass, the authorities
- 15:41Speaker 5: fear you.
- 15:42Speaker 1: You run the government, especially in a republic like this.
- 15:45Speaker 6: And is Macron destroying France?
- 15:48Speaker 3: He's part of the problem, but he's like Donald Trump.
- 15:50Speaker 3: He's not the disease, he's a symptom.
- 15:53Speaker 6: And why are you out here today?
- 15:55Speaker 4: Because we are angry.
- 15:56Speaker 7: We want more rights for the workers.
- 15:59Speaker 13: We want more social justice because the rich man doesn't
- 16:04Speaker 13: pay enough tax.
- 16:05Speaker 3: Is President Macron a lecturer of rights? Right, right, very right.
- 16:13Speaker 3: Why are you out here? Because we have the right
- 16:16Speaker 3: thing telling of our country. Because the rich don't pay
- 16:19Speaker 3: their fair share of taxes. Because just like Donald Trump,
- 16:25Speaker 3: he's part of the symptom, not the disease. Boy, you
- 16:30Speaker 3: know what? Let me just say real quick, and we're
- 16:31Speaker 3: going to spend more time. I have a lot more
- 16:33Speaker 3: from these riots. America, you are watching what you are
- 16:38Speaker 3: one step away from. And we have been one step
- 16:42Speaker 3: away from it. You look at that crowd and then
- 16:45Speaker 3: go back and look at the pictures of the free
- 16:47Speaker 3: Palestine college protesters in New York. Look at that crowd
- 16:51Speaker 3: and look at the anti-ice demonstrators in Los Angeles rioting
- 16:56Speaker 3: and tearing up in the people at Delaney Hall. Look
- 16:58Speaker 3: at these, and then look at the crowd at the
- 17:01Speaker 3: No Kings rallies. Look at the, remember the people when
- 17:04Speaker 3: they took over Wall Street. Go look at the people
- 17:07Speaker 3: from the BLM riot division. One step away is America.
- 17:14Speaker 1: The Rush Hour with James Golden. Entertaining and informative on
- 17:19Speaker 1: the Red Apple Podcast Network.
- 17:23Speaker 14: Europe has committed cultural suicide. Watch the continent destroy itself
- 17:28Speaker 14: as it has been invaded. It has been invaded by
- 17:31Speaker 14: foreign invaders who don't share Europe's culture, don't share Europe's values,
- 17:35Speaker 14: don't share Europe's faith. And we are witnessing Islamists right
- 17:40Speaker 14: now burning Paris. And I got to tell you, we
- 17:43Speaker 14: ought to look to France as foreshadowing for what America
- 17:47Speaker 14: faces if we don't stop this here. Europe is about
- 17:51Speaker 14: 10 years ahead on this cultural suicide from where America is.
- 17:55Speaker 14: In Europe, it turns out the reverse crusades were a
- 17:58Speaker 14: really bad idea. Now, that's relevant here. in the United
- 18:03Speaker 14: States is relevant here in Alaska.
- 18:05Speaker 3: Absolutely. We have seen the Democrat.
- 18:07Speaker 14: Party in the United States facing a hostile takeover from
- 18:12Speaker 14: Islamists and communists.
- 18:14Speaker 3: And this burning on.
- 18:15Speaker 14: The streets, this rioting, this violence, this is where it goes.
- 18:20Speaker 14: If the Comrade Mondami's and the Abdul Al-Sayed's and the
- 18:23Speaker 14: James Tallarico's and the Mary Patel's win, these radicals, this
- 18:28Speaker 14: is what they want. And we are fighting literally to
- 18:31Speaker 14: save our nation.
- 18:34Speaker 3: Wow. That was Senator Ted Cruz. We're going to have
- 18:37Speaker 3: more little date in music history stuff, folks. First of all,
- 18:44Speaker 3: I am looking, and thank you, my man, Darren. I
- 18:48Speaker 3: have so many people that send me stuff, and I
- 18:49Speaker 3: appreciate it. Darren sent me, I don't know whether he
- 18:53Speaker 3: was there, but someone he knew was there at the
- 18:57Speaker 3: Celebration of Life service for Freddie Jackson, which was today.
- 19:02Speaker 3: at Mount Nebo Baptist Church on Adam Clayton Boulevard, uptown
- 19:08Speaker 3: in New York. And the program is just simply, it
- 19:13Speaker 3: looks so beautiful. It's just a great picture of Freddie
- 19:16Speaker 3: Jackson and just done so well. So you had that.
- 19:21Speaker 3: Thank you, Darren, for sending me that. I appreciate it.
- 19:26Speaker 3: We played Freddie Jackson when he passed away on October
- 19:30Speaker 3: 5th of this year. Birthday today for one of the
- 19:35Speaker 3: most amazing musicians to emerge in the last 10 years, Thundercat.
- 19:43Speaker 3: Thundercat is an American musician, singer, record producer, songwriter, for
- 19:47Speaker 3: those of you that don't know, and an amazing, amazing,
- 19:51Speaker 3: amazing bassist His name is Stephen Bruner But his stage name,
- 19:57Speaker 3: Thundercat Wait, what, Carlos? Hard time actor, too He's acting now?
- 20:03Speaker 3: I mean, he has made a cameo on the book
- 20:06Speaker 3: of Boba Fett Oh The Disney show, yes I like
- 20:11Speaker 3: Boba Fett. I wish that... I haven't seen... Are they
- 20:14Speaker 3: ever going to finish that series? Hopefully not, because it
- 20:16Speaker 3: wasn't that good. Okay. Anyway, it is Thundercat's birthday today.
- 20:27Speaker 3: He's also known for his work on Flying Lotus, his
- 20:30Speaker 3: appearance on Kendrick Lamar's 2015 album, To Pimp a Butterfly.
- 20:36Speaker 3: He won a Grammy... For the best rap sung performance
- 20:40Speaker 3: for the work track These Walls from that. And he
- 20:46Speaker 3: also had an It Is What It Is, another release
- 20:51Speaker 3: from him that earned him another Grammy Award. So he's noticed.
- 20:56Speaker 3: Talk about noticed. I remember when this song came out.
- 21:04Speaker 3: I remember this album so well. I remember... doing a
- 21:08Speaker 3: Prince imitation for some of my friends I was young
- 21:13Speaker 3: and skinny then and I thought Prince was just this
- 21:20Speaker 3: song just blew it off 1979 on this day Prince
- 21:27Speaker 3: released his second album It only peaked at number 22
- 21:43Speaker 3: on the Billboard Top 200. Didn't even break the top 20,
- 21:46Speaker 3: although it did go to number 3 on the R
- 21:48Speaker 3: & B charts. And this was the first single that
- 21:58Speaker 3: this one made Prince a household name in a lot
- 22:04Speaker 3: of quarters. It sold over a million copies, but The
- 22:09Speaker 3: best was yet to come from Prince, but this was
- 22:12Speaker 3: not a bad start for his first hit. Prince. He
- 22:24Speaker 3: has got so much talent. Even here, it was apparent. Prince,
- 22:31Speaker 3: ladies and gentlemen, James Golden Snurley, back to the riots
- 22:34Speaker 3: we go. Let us, you heard from that, let us
- 22:39Speaker 3: visit something that you don't hear often. Cut number 12.
- 22:44Speaker 3: Her name is Kate Jones. She's a strategist. She's not
- 22:48Speaker 3: with any of the news outlets here. She's overseas. They
- 22:51Speaker 3: wouldn't put this on here. Did I sing? Hardly. Even
- 22:55Speaker 3: when I was in a band, America's Small Caffeinated Mom,
- 22:58Speaker 3: what's another lesson? When I was in a band, I
- 23:00Speaker 3: tried to sing. They told me to shut up and
- 23:03Speaker 3: do the speaking parts. I cannot keep a tune. I
- 23:07Speaker 3: still can't. I still have... You know people with perfect pitch?
- 23:10Speaker 3: I'm not one of them. I can hear in perfect pitch,
- 23:12Speaker 3: but I can't sing in perfect pitch. They were like.
- 23:20Speaker 13: I mean, no, no, no.
- 23:21Speaker 3: My bandmates were serious. Because we wanted like five and
- 23:26Speaker 3: six part harmonies and everything else. And I would even
- 23:28Speaker 3: try to sing harmonies. And they would just look at me.
- 23:32Speaker 3: And one or two times I tried to sing lead
- 23:34Speaker 3: on something after they got through laughing. They just were like...
- 23:38Speaker 3: Do me a favor and do us a favor. You
- 23:41Speaker 3: handle all the speaking parts for the group. That's you.
- 23:45Speaker 3: So I was the guy that actually did all the communication,
- 23:49Speaker 3: the verbal communication with the audience, because I had a voice.
- 23:54Speaker 3: But they're like, when it comes to singing, shut up.
- 23:57Speaker 3: Let us handle that. Anyway, you won't hear this, ladies
- 24:04Speaker 3: and gentlemen. This analysis of the riots on the networks here.
- 24:10Speaker 3: But you will hear it in the UK. Cut number 12,
- 24:13Speaker 3: GB News. And she's, by the way, a woman of color,
- 24:17Speaker 3: just so you know. Kate Jones. And here she is.
- 24:21Speaker 15: Well, I think this is more complicated than that. And
- 24:25Speaker 15: there were many groups that were participants. And there was
- 24:28Speaker 15: a difference between those who were protesting and the looters
- 24:32Speaker 15: that were engaged in opportunistic criminal activity. And then the
- 24:36Speaker 15: far left and a little bit more organized groups that
- 24:39Speaker 15: seem to have been responsible for the violence itself. So
- 24:43Speaker 15: while immigration and integration is a factor in the general
- 24:48Speaker 15: economic woes, reading levels, inability to get ahead, certainly that
- 24:55Speaker 15: stuff is true. In this case, this violent protest is
- 24:59Speaker 15: emerged out of something else. It's a collection of groups
- 25:02Speaker 15: and even a policing failure.
- 25:03Speaker 13: In Limoges where they ran out of.
- 25:06Speaker 15: The tear gas grenades and bullets at about three o'clock
- 25:09Speaker 15: before all of it occurred and had to retreat, which
- 25:12Speaker 15: gave an opening to the protesters.
- 25:15Speaker 12: Well, if you're suggesting that Trump is oversimplifying this, then
- 25:18Speaker 12: Macron has gone entirely in the other direction. So he
- 25:21Speaker 12: said earlier, I think an hour or two before we
- 25:23Speaker 12: came on air, how could French people do this to France?
- 25:26Speaker 12: He studiously ignored the more uncomfortable conversations.
- 25:29Speaker 3: How could French people do this to France? Stop it
- 25:31Speaker 3: right there. Stop it right there. How could French people
- 25:34Speaker 3: do that? Because Macron said it. We have him, by
- 25:36Speaker 3: the way. And I just hate playing that stuff that's
- 25:38Speaker 3: translated because you're always trying to listen to both voices
- 25:41Speaker 3: at the same time. We have it. We have a
- 25:44Speaker 3: little bit of it. We're not going to listen to
- 25:46Speaker 3: a lot of it. But listen, cut nine. Just to
- 25:48Speaker 3: show you that I'm not kidding. We have it. Here's
- 25:50Speaker 3: old Macron. Macron.
- 25:52Speaker 16: The youth of our nation are expressing great anguish and
- 25:57Speaker 16: concern about the future, the conditions of where their careers
- 26:01Speaker 16: will take them. what role they'll be able to play
- 26:05Speaker 16: in society. See, I can't keep up with it. It's
- 26:08Speaker 16: too much. It's too much for my ears.
- 26:10Speaker 3: I'm sorry. Anyway, we have Macron saying all that stuff,
- 26:15Speaker 3: but we have something else for you too. Here's another
- 26:18Speaker 3: from the UK, cut 11. Listen to this on UK.
- 26:24Speaker 13: Donald Trump warned us 13 months ago.
- 26:27Speaker 17: It's time to end the failed experiment of open borders.
- 26:30Speaker 17: You have to end it now. See, I can tell you.
- 26:34Speaker 17: I'm really good at this stuff. Your countries are going
- 26:36Speaker 17: to hell.
- 26:38Speaker 13: Well, Keir Starmer said at the time that Trump wasn't right.
- 26:42Speaker 13: In fact, he said, there's a lot we agree with on,
- 26:45Speaker 13: but there's some things we don't agree on. That's in
- 26:49Speaker 13: the nature of a relationship between a president and a
- 26:51Speaker 13: prime minister. We have a compassionate, reasonable, tolerant people in
- 26:54Speaker 13: this country, and I'm very proud of who we are.
- 26:59Speaker 13: But in the last couple of hours, President Donald Trump
- 27:01Speaker 13: has intervened again. And he's written on Truth Social, France
- 27:05Speaker 13: is burning. The immigration of people from an entirely different world,
- 27:09Speaker 13: people with hatred in their hearts, has shattered that once
- 27:12Speaker 13: great country. Close your borders and take control before it's
- 27:16Speaker 13: too late. It started with students as young as 14
- 27:21Speaker 13: protesting about the state of their education facilities in France.
- 27:25Speaker 13: Disgruntled parents protested. began pulling their kids out of those protests.
- 27:31Speaker 13: But before long, the profile of the protesters changed. And
- 27:36Speaker 13: yesterday's violent clashes erupted in cities across France as more
- 27:40Speaker 13: than half a million people protested against the rising cost
- 27:44Speaker 13: of living after weeks of unrest. We saw scenes of
- 27:47Speaker 13: carnage on the streets of Paris, Lyon, Marseille, Bordeaux and
- 27:50Speaker 13: in Limoges where a 143-year-old town hall was burnt down
- 27:52Speaker 13: after artists set fire to it. French President Emmanuel Macron
- 28:00Speaker 13: vowed to punish vandals wrecking public property as tear gas
- 28:03Speaker 13: and water cannons were deployed. And over 100,000 people swarmed
- 28:07Speaker 13: the streets of Paris. And that includes tens.
- 28:10Speaker 3: Of thousands of people. But unlike the way she opened it,
- 28:13Speaker 3: Trump warned us. Just why did we have to you
- 28:16Speaker 3: and Trump play the beginning of that one more time,
- 28:19Speaker 3: that opening line from her. I love this opening line.
- 28:22Speaker 13: Donald Trump warned us 13 months ago.
- 28:25Speaker 17: It's time to end the failed experiment of open borders.
- 28:28Speaker 17: You have to end it now. See, I can tell you.
- 28:31Speaker 17: I'm really good at this stuff. Your countries are going
- 28:34Speaker 17: to hell.
- 28:35Speaker 3: Boom, that's enough. Donald Trump warned us 13 months ago. Yes,
- 28:42Speaker 3: he did. Now, cut number seven from the Fox News
- 28:46Speaker 3: Network coverage here in the States.
- 28:49Speaker 18: They are perpetuating agitation promoted by communists in China, in Russia,
- 28:57Speaker 18: and then Islamists in the Islamic Republic of Iran.
- 29:00Speaker 13: Can you see this, if it continues to get worse
- 29:03Speaker 13: here and goes.
- 29:04Speaker 18: On through the night, can you see this inciting similar
- 29:07Speaker 18: protests here? Well, while you were watching for Macron's tweets,
- 29:10Speaker 18: I was watching for the propaganda network in the United
- 29:13Speaker 18: States that is amplifying the protests in France. So what
- 29:17Speaker 18: happens is that there's this global amplification happening. So there
- 29:21Speaker 18: are organizations with names like Breakthrough News, sounds very innocuous,
- 29:26Speaker 18: People's Forum, the Party for Socialism and Liberation. But they
- 29:30Speaker 18: are funded by a tech tycoon that is an American
- 29:34Speaker 18: living in Shanghai by the name of Neville Roy Singham.
- 29:37Speaker 18: He is an avowed communist. and he has pumped $ 278
- 29:42Speaker 18: million into the United States to create this network in
- 29:46Speaker 18: the U.S. that amplifies those kind of protests. And they
- 29:50Speaker 18: are the ones I brought to you some of their signals. Netanyahu,
- 29:56Speaker 18: they're going after Netanyahu, the Israel-Palestine cause.
- 29:59Speaker 13: Cuba, you know, it's.
- 30:01Speaker 18: Whatever the issue there is of the day. These are
- 30:03Speaker 18: my souvenirs from the streets, Aisha, that I brought to
- 30:07Speaker 18: you because I think people need to see the evidence
- 30:11Speaker 18: that this is not just something organic and grassroots and Well-intentioned.
- 30:16Speaker 18: This is an orchestrated, coordinated campaign by insurgents throughout the
- 30:21Speaker 18: world who want to see chaos and mayhem.
- 30:24Speaker 3: Yeah, we're also waiting to see. Well, isn't that the thing?
- 30:28Speaker 3: Isn't that the thing? Isn't that the thing? This is coordinated.
- 30:34Speaker 3: I will say it again, folks. The United States of America,
- 30:38Speaker 3: just like Donald Trump warned Europe 13 months ago, I'm
- 30:43Speaker 3: saying it right now. We are one step away. And
- 30:47Speaker 3: if you think for any moment that we didn't see
- 30:50Speaker 3: the beginnings of this, when you saw the violence that erupted,
- 30:55Speaker 3: that was watered down by the media, it was mostly
- 30:59Speaker 3: peaceful at these free Palestine college is in across the country.
- 31:07Speaker 3: but particularly in New York City. And by the way,
- 31:10Speaker 3: one of the agitators, this guy Mahmoud Khalil, is asking
- 31:13Speaker 3: the Supreme Court to let him keep fighting from being
- 31:16Speaker 3: detained and being deported. Did you see how much effort
- 31:21Speaker 3: it takes to just get one guy, one of these agitators,
- 31:25Speaker 3: out of the country? And you talk about a country
- 31:28Speaker 3: now that has 50 million. This is why liberals don't
- 31:32Speaker 3: want mass deportation. This is why barrier after barrier, it
- 31:37Speaker 3: should not be this hard to deport somebody. It's unclear
- 31:43Speaker 3: whether the court is going to... He's one of these
- 31:45Speaker 3: guys up at Columbia, one of these activists, comes to
- 31:49Speaker 3: another country and then starts agitating from inside the country.
- 31:53Speaker 3: You as an American can't go to other countries. You know,
- 31:57Speaker 3: if you go to Mexico, you're not allowed to protest
- 32:01Speaker 3: the government of Mexico as a guest. You can't buy
- 32:07Speaker 3: real estate. You can't send your kids to Mexican school
- 32:13Speaker 3: on the taxpayer dime. You certainly cannot collect welfare. You
- 32:18Speaker 3: can't go to the Mideast to any of their countries
- 32:22Speaker 3: and pull the stuff, come in and start agitating against
- 32:25Speaker 3: the government that you are a guest in the country.
- 32:28Speaker 3: And yet we can't throw these people out of here.
- 32:31Speaker 3: It's insane. But look at it. Go back to that
- 32:36Speaker 3: Wall Street takeover. Go back to these anti-ICE demonstrations and
- 32:43Speaker 3: the riots we saw in this country. Look at that protest,
- 32:48Speaker 3: the Palestine protest at these colleges. Go look at some
- 32:52Speaker 3: of the BLM. Look at what they do when they
- 32:55Speaker 3: get on the streets to stop ICE and try to
- 32:59Speaker 3: run over ICE agents and then complain when... ICE agents
- 33:04Speaker 3: have to protect themselves with lethal force. We're one step away.
- 33:13Speaker 3: Birthday today for American musician Pat Simmons. He was one
- 33:17Speaker 3: of the founding members of the Doobies, the Doobie Brothers.
- 33:23Speaker 3: Oh man, don't you love this one? Without love, the
- 33:26Speaker 3: Doobie Brothers. Coming back, the clip of the day. Don't
- 33:33Speaker 3: go away. Keep it right here. Bo Snurley's Rush Hour.
- 33:37Speaker 3: The fastest hour in American media.
- 33:49Speaker 1: The Rush Hour with James Golden. Entertaining and informative.
- 33:54Speaker 11: On the Red Apple Podcast Network.
- 33:59Speaker 14: The clip of the day, you want to hear it,
- 34:04Speaker 14: it's the clip of the day.
- 34:07Speaker 3: Ah yes, ladies and gentlemen, what would a riot in
- 34:10Speaker 3: Europe be like without their supreme commentator? We have watched
- 34:17Speaker 3: her groan from a little girl commentator to a grown, well,
- 34:20Speaker 3: an almost grown, well, I think she's grown woman. Here
- 34:24Speaker 3: is Greta Thornburg.
- 34:32Speaker 4: I'm incredibly proud of the French students. Young people all
- 34:36Speaker 4: over the world, especially in France, are leading by example,
- 34:39Speaker 4: showing what young people all over the world should do
- 34:42Speaker 4: because young people are being neglected. What do you expect
- 34:45Speaker 4: young people to do of course we're gonna revolt of
- 34:47Speaker 4: course we're gonna rise up so it should be should
- 34:49Speaker 4: have been expected and that the police are now meeting
- 34:52Speaker 4: it with such violence and politicians are meeting it with
- 34:56Speaker 4: as if something unexpected or that young people are destroying
- 34:59Speaker 4: things just shows that they are living in a completely
- 35:03Speaker 4: different reality. All the movements now need to be united,
- 35:06Speaker 4: whether it is students' movement, workers' movement, migrants' rights movement,
- 35:11Speaker 4: climate movement. We all need to stand united because we
- 35:13Speaker 4: are facing the same enemy, which is this extremely destructive system,
- 35:18Speaker 4: which is not working to our benefit and which is incompatible, I.
- 35:22Speaker 3: Would say, with human rights and.
- 35:24Speaker 4: Humanity as a whole. The police are extremely violently protecting
- 35:28Speaker 4: our already extremely violent business as usual. Just shows everything
- 35:33Speaker 4: about them and who they are really protecting. They are
- 35:36Speaker 4: supposed to be protecting young people.
- 35:38Speaker 3: They're supposed to be protecting young people. That's Greta. Greta,
- 35:42Speaker 3: she just goes on and on and on. That's the
- 35:44Speaker 3: clip of the day. What would a riot be like
- 35:46Speaker 3: without Greta? We leave you today, my friends. with the
- 35:53Speaker 3: soulful sounds of the Delphonics. Heavenly birthday. I believe it's
- 36:00Speaker 3: the heavenly birthday for Wilbert Hart, the leading singer from
- 36:09Speaker 3: the Delphonics. This one of course won them a Grammy.
- 36:17Speaker 3: It is always their first one that I will remember
- 36:22Speaker 3: Lala means I love you. Tom Bell, of course, the
- 36:26Speaker 3: genius behind it. May God bless, protect each and every
- 36:29Speaker 3: single one of you, families and loved ones. God willing,
- 36:32Speaker 3: we're back tomorrow for the Tuesday edition. Until then, I
- 36:36Speaker 3: bid you adieu.
- 36:38Speaker 6: Bye.
- 36:38Speaker 1: The Rush Hour with James Golden. Entertaining and informative.
- 36:43Speaker 11: On the Red Apple Podcast Network.
