Welcome to nature daily wager. I ain't picking winners but I am
• 0:10
making wagers. Time to put my money where my
• 0:13
mouth is. This is Nate's daily wager for
• 0:21
January 6th, 2026 and got it right today.
• 0:27
Seems I was a little overzealous yesterday thinking I've gotten
• 0:32
it. I got the day correct, I got the
• 0:34
year correct somehow really jobbed it on the month, said
• 0:38
  July. Good Lord.
• 0:40
Like I guess I was just thinking ahead.
• 0:43
But so it turns out I'm only one for four on the year, not 2,
• 0:48
three as I thought, or three and two.
• 0:50
Wait a minute. So I'd be 3 and two on the year.
• 0:52
There we go. I'm still only one in four on
• 0:56
the winds though, which isn't great.
• 0:58
So this is what we got to do here, right?
• 1:01
Go off the board, something I know nothing about, and go look
• 1:04
at some hockey. I see we got a game between, I
• 1:08
think it's a Vegas and Winnipeg with The Jets and the Knights.
• 1:13
And I'm looking at this total and then I look at the numbers.
• 1:17
Add stuff up. I look at what they've been
• 1:19
doing lately and to me, I think they're due to get to 6
• 1:23
combined. I'm not sure if it's going to be
• 1:25
4 to 2 or like 3-3 and then with an overtime get to 7.
• 1:30
But from what I can tell, what I'm hoping, we're going to get
• 1:33
  over that 5 1/2. So that's what we're doing.
• 1:36
I haven't watched either of these teams.
• 1:37
  I couldn't. I honestly, In fact, I just
• 1:40
looked at the numbers, I saw who the goalies were.
• 1:43
  I still couldn't tell you. I couldn't name a player on
• 1:46
either of these teams, all right?
• 1:47
But nevertheless, we're taking the over.
• 1:50
We're putting our money down. We're going to hope we get
• 1:52
ourselves a win. All right, So we're going over 5
• 1:55
1/2 total goals between the Vegas Knights and the Winnipeg
• 1:59
Jets in tonight's NHL hockey action.
• 2:03
See anything better than that? Pound it.
• 2:04
That's my pick and I'm sticking to it.
• 2:07
