Transcript
- 0:00And here we go. This is a set around free crazy to it.
- 0:36You we go, Here we go. What's up? Everybody? Welcome to
- 0:48the show. Despite the man obviously not wanting us to do a show today,
- 0:54we are here, We are live. This is episode number two hundred
- 0:57and sixty eight, and Samuel Hades is going on here so we might recognize
- 1:04Joe has a weird background. That's because he is deep undercover on assignment.
- 1:11Welcome to the show. Joe, tell everybody where you're hat, buddy.
- 1:15I am, well. I wish I could tell people where I'm at,
- 1:19but I will give people a hint. I am visiting family like John T.
- 1:30Martin was, and I am in the state that had JM wave in
- 1:36it. Let's put it that way. And it's cold. So you're in
- 1:45Minnesota, no Florida. Oh we just gave it, just gave it away.
- 1:53Yeah, you're no name key doing a little investigation on Jerry. Yeah,
- 1:59I actually have one of those metal detectors. I'm going through to see
- 2:07if I could find any remnants. So cool, my friend, A little
- 2:12bit of grenade shrapnel maybe if you're lucky when the beach choking. But how
- 2:19are you today? Happy? New Year's Happy, Happy, Happy New Year's
- 2:23everybody, last show of twenty twenty three, last show about the Martins.
- 2:36As I'm sure all of you are, we're quite tuckered out on the Martin
- 2:39thing as well, but we wanted to see it to its reasonable conclusions.
- 2:46It's been six weeks since our Lancer presentation went live, and we spent six
- 2:51weeks on this here on YouTube and the past probably close to two years research
- 2:58and all this stuff. So we realize that it is a little bit confusing,
- 3:05and some people have asked for kind of a recap wrap up show just
- 3:08to kind of clarify everything and everybody and really what we think about all this.
- 3:15So that is the meaning for this here show today. So without further
- 3:20adieux croissant, Joe, Yes, can I do one thing first? I
- 3:30want to thank my brother for this amazing chazz palmonary shirt from one of my
- 3:37favorite movies, The Bronx Tail, And h're just going to show everybody your
- 3:42hog here for a second. No, but if you want to see,
- 3:46if you really want to see the Joey folk scar, the one that is
- 3:52a shark bite that goes up my whole arm, I will, but it's
- 3:54Okay, we can get into it. We see much different than a home.
- 4:00Yes, okay, well get me one second there, sir. Ah
- 4:13Scott must have been our one hoodie sale so far. Joe, Oh yeah,
- 4:19he's chilling in his lee and Jack Morning Zoo hoodie. So that's beautiful.
- 4:25I love that beautiful And remind you people about the January fourth discount please
- 4:31if you will, If you will, Oh yeah, it's the it's in
- 4:33the description. And welcome Roger to the show, our maestro of the Lone
- 4:40Gum and Podcast. If you will, Hi, Roger. Yea. If
- 4:45anybody else out there would like to cop some merch, just hold on a
- 4:48second and don't do it until January third through the seventh, everything in our
- 4:57shop will be twenty four percent off to celebrate the year twenty twenty four.
- 5:02So twenty four percent is almost twenty five percent either way. It's a hell
- 5:08of a good deal. So just hold off until the third and then you
- 5:12have until the seventh to get twenty four percent off in our merch store link
- 5:15in the description. Yes, sir, and that is when I will be
- 5:21ordering my hood and still waiting on the Christmas present, Rob. But I
- 5:28did send you my address only a couple of days ago. So but it
- 5:32did not come by Christmas like I predicted. Yeah, you're waiting for the
- 5:39fourth or third I get it. Yeah, I'm waiting for the discount.
- 5:43So hey, I don't blame it there. So this has been our kind
- 5:50of graphic. We're gonna go into the mark. Yeah, that's a lot,
- 5:58right. Oh, look all Martin's and I guess I'll start with the
- 6:05couple. If you notice, almost everything on the left is John, which
- 6:13is kind of interesting because it is obviously this is a podcast dedicated to John
- 6:19Kennedy. So the lone exception there is Suggs, who also had a John
- 6:28Martin alias Bishop John Martin alias both in Kentucky and a Colonel Jack Martin alias
- 6:32that was in New Orleans. So you can continue all. Oh, I'm
- 6:43sorry, I was answering our lovely, lovely listeners. Our listeners come first.
- 6:50So where am I at here? John C? Yes? So John
- 6:54C. Martin was the chief of security at the International Trademark in the mid
- 7:01to late sixties. He may have had some overlap there with Clay Shaw when
- 7:09he was the head of the trademark. And it's interesting that there is a
- 7:15John Martin president in such a high position at the trademark at that time.
- 7:21What does it the mean? I have no idea, but I do know
- 7:25that he has one handsome, handsome fellow desly needs the haircut. Yeah,
- 7:33I think he desperately needed a lot of things. And I think you said,
- 7:38I don't think he lived that much longer after just based on his looks.
- 7:42I thought that was funny and I agree. Next, as the two
- 7:48aliases of Genio Martinez, the J Martin JP and J Martin alias, says
- 7:57that he that the FBI suspected he had although he was he had a known
- 8:01Jay Martin aliot. H Yeah, whatever Claude is saying, I'm low on
- 8:13my mic can everybody hear me? Okay, I can hear you. I
- 8:20can hear you. Get down on the get down on his microphone a little
- 8:22bit more when I'm speaking me too. So next up is John T.
- 8:31Martin, who we did a whole show on. Uh. Basically he was
- 8:37the longest one. Yeah. He was the student who managed to film not
- 8:41only a visit to General Walker's house, what a trip to Texas, a
- 8:48visit to General Walker's house, and also an encounter with Lee, Harvey Oswald
- 8:54in New Orleans, all on the same role of film. Now, this
- 8:58is probably, at least for me, one of the our top Martins,
- 9:03because yes, it kind of alludes to some astronomical odds that are probably in
- 9:16the gazillions to one. You know, what are the odds of this happening
- 9:20organically on the same role of film where somebody captures before the assassination a visit
- 9:33to General Walker's house and then goes to New Orleans to film the guy who
- 9:37allegedly shot at General Walker a few months previous. To me, those are
- 9:45astronomical odds. Could it be a coincidence, Yeah, it could be,
- 9:50but man, that's an awfully big coincidence, especially when we're talking about this
- 9:56case in particular because he's a ghost. Yeah, and you know, we
- 10:01have still been searching for this guy, and we did come across some new
- 10:07information and we possibly possibly might have a way to get to this guy.
- 10:15But he is a ghost, folks. And this is for multiple, multiple
- 10:20private investigators, websites, you name it. I mean, we've tried it
- 10:26all and we're still working on it. We're not going to give up until
- 10:31we find this guy. Yes, because he has some very important questions to
- 10:37answer. Joey, Yes he does. And although those are a recap of
- 10:46the march In show, this is not the end of our march In journey.
- 10:50There are many paths that we are going down. We are getting help
- 10:56from some very reputable researcher and uh there will be some follow up episodes and
- 11:05we are working on finding this guy. And I think we got the furthest
- 11:11then compared to anyone else in terms of finding him. But just to move
- 11:16on to John Martin Jr. Because we have a graphic of him later as
- 11:20well. John Martin Jr. Was the postal worker who was also ironically from
- 11:26Minnesota. But there is no family connection that we found and I looked through
- 11:33and I wanted it there to be through through ancestry, but there was not.
- 11:37And then of course you have Johnny slash On Martin. He used both
- 11:46names. He was the odio visitor that got it in with so Rita and
- 11:54I think that this was take This might have been take one of trying to
- 12:00infiltrate the audios and and their money. Their family was very wealthy. Whether
- 12:05it was related to the leader visit that is so famous is I don't know,
- 12:11but it's just a very interesting character and a very shady character for sure.
- 12:18So you can take the next roun Well, I don't want the next
- 12:22one, Okay, I'll do it previous. John L. Martin Jr.
- 12:26What so you took two instead of one? Last time? I was just
- 12:31on a roll. You screwed up the order of things. Okay, go
- 12:35on one on one. Okay, that's a great hauling out song. By
- 12:41the way, what what for your time, Bud? Yes? John L.
- 12:50Martin Jr. He was a brigadier general. That's all I know.
- 12:54Go ahead to next. Yes, and uh, the John J. Martin
- 13:00who was the Deputy Director of the CIA for a short time during the Nixon
- 13:05era, acting acting acting Deputy Director. Yes, and also had some NASA
- 13:13connections. And we don't know much about him either. He's very very mysterious.
- 13:16Yes, mixed up. John Martin Thorne, of course, was the
- 13:20shooter of porn and Marina's lawyer during her Warren Commission testimony and during the was
- 13:33it what's that hotel in DC? Willard? The Willard? Yes? He
- 13:41was also filming things at the Willard, Yes, and making a lot of
- 13:46calls. His call their call list is actually available. It's something in New
- 13:52York. It's it's it's interesting, but not anything that would stand out or
- 13:58that did to me. But next you have Jean Martin, which is of
- 14:05course Jean in English from French, and that was the alias of pure Lafitte.
- 14:13I was waiting for the where's uh, where's the sound by we when
- 14:22you need it? And he is obviously the subject of the book Coup in
- 14:31Dallas, which is a very hot topic among the community these days. So
- 14:37yes, the next, yep, we have John B. Martin, not
- 14:41to be confused with John B. The White R and B singer from the
- 14:45nineties who Joe probably doesn't remember either. He was a CIA propaganda Mockingbird author
- 14:58h back then, writing writing books about politics and the Caribbean era area of
- 15:07things down there. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I had a
- 15:11role to play in the coup of the Dominican Republic, I believe in nineteen
- 15:16sixty three. But next is mister John Martin, who is the working contact
- 15:22that McCall said he had. We know very little about this guy too,
- 15:31but if he was if McCord was reported to him, McCord was pretty high
- 15:39up. This guy was even higher. So that's what she said. You
- 15:48know, fun fact about McCord that he was running a high end call girl
- 15:52service out of his private office there in Rockville after he left to see in
- 16:00the seventies. Thank you, Johnny Boy for the super chat my friend.
- 16:04Thank you, John. Yeah, you've been very consistent, so thank you.
- 16:10You are the man, sir. Thank you Graham. We try,
- 16:18we try, and you have a great new year as well. All right.
- 16:22Next up we have John G. Martin and he happened to be the
- 16:29principal at Beauregard Elementary School in New Orleans when Oswald went there. He was
- 16:37also very forthcoming to the FBI agents. They're visiting him in New Orleans to
- 16:41turn over any records that he had of Lee Harvey Oswald when he was going
- 16:48to Beauregard. Yeah, very interesting coincidence there. I'll take two just because
- 16:57Jack Martin, Jack Martin we already discussed, was an alias of Suggs and
- 17:07Jack W. Martin. Who is he again, Robert, I don't even
- 17:11remember he called someone. No, this was the guy who see even we
- 17:18are perfect. The Secret Service was going after Oswald was arrested. Uh,
- 17:25they dispatched an Asian from New Orleans to track down Jack W. Martin uh
- 17:29in Louisiana. And this is all prior to Oswald's arrest. When it's just
- 17:36it just seems a little odd to me, Joe, that the Secret Service
- 17:40is after somebody named Jack Martin in Louisiana before Oswald's even arrested. Yes,
- 17:48very very shortly, did very sussige. Did they put out an actual ATV
- 17:53on him? Was that in the document? I think they might. Did
- 17:59they put out an AB on him? No, they just sent Agent Rice
- 18:03after him. Okay, they dispatched Rice from New Orleans some three hours away
- 18:11to find this guy and track him down, and it turned out nothing to
- 18:14see here, folks, type of thing. Nothing to see here. Yeah,
- 18:18yeah, before Oswalt was arrested. Yes, as you mentioned, So
- 18:22go ahead and take the next one since I kind of stole that one from
- 18:26you. Yeah, that would be James W. Martin of the International Trademarked.
- 18:32This was the guy we went into a little bit on one of our
- 18:36previous episodes and he ran the port for the city of New Orleans for the
- 18:44International Trademark and we implied that, yeah, to do that, and going
- 18:52back to World War Two when our government used the mafia to secure the ports
- 19:00that you would need some connection to be able to have that role. Yes,
- 19:07what's up? Damien in the UK aquose to Pall and Mike. How
- 19:11are Yeah? Sorry, that's an Australian accent. I screwed that totally up,
- 19:17but I aggress Next up, James Herbert Martin was Marina's babysitter, agent,
- 19:29business associate, business agent, representative, whatever you want to call the
- 19:33guy. He is suspect in our eyes. This is another major player in
- 19:41our list of Martins who, upon digging a little further on, we stumbled
- 19:45across all kinds of crazy information, including the fact that he orchestrated Marina coming
- 19:53to the Six Flags Hotel. He was responsible for moving Marina and her kids
- 20:00into his house. They had a direct line to White House Communications installed in
- 20:07their house. That's another avenue we're running down. They possibly were on the
- 20:17s S mads Dam and followed the Oswalds back to America when they left Russia.
- 20:26All kinds of very suspect things going on with the James Herbert Martin family.
- 20:32And we'll get to his YEP, there's a graphic of him of him
- 20:42In and Wanda who is the next one, and a little later we could
- 20:47talk about that, So I'll just move on to Jim Martin, who was
- 20:52present at the famous meeting at Ruby's house on the night of November twenty fourth,
- 21:00eighteen sixty three. He was Ruby's lawyer for a little while and also
- 21:04Senator's lawyer his roommate George Senator of course. Yes, Next up, El
- 21:11Joseph Martin, also known as Lewis McWillie. He's one of the one of
- 21:18the ones we focused on in the Lucky Martin segment because of his association with
- 21:23the the mafia and his gun running and Cuban casino dealings. A very interesting
- 21:33character indeed, that Lewis McWillie, a mafia guy, had a Martin alias.
- 21:44Yeah, it's it's weird. Nothing about his name has to do with
- 21:52Martin, So how did he come up with this alias that happened to be
- 21:56an alias of a lot of people associated with, you know, the greatest
- 22:07agency ever. Next we have Billy Joe Martin, the DPD comp who was
- 22:14to the back left of JFK's mortarcade, and we had a comment in the
- 22:18section that it was a hard guess that had blood on but Billy Joe did
- 22:27as well on his helmet and on his uniform, so S wanted clear that
- 22:34up. Thank you Paul for the super chat. Thank you, my friend,
- 22:40Thank you. This has been a great series. We think so too.
- 22:45Sadly we're seeing it come to a good conclusion here. But like Joe
- 22:51mentioned earlier, this is not the end of the Martin's Deep Dive. It
- 22:56is just going to be the end for a hot minute while we move on
- 23:00to explore other things. And we'll still be working on this in the background
- 23:04and keep you updated on any major movings in this area. All right,
- 23:11So next up we have Joseph James Martin, a CIA agent in the nineteen
- 23:17fifties who was possibly confused with the Jack s Martin Edward Suggs in New Orleans,
- 23:25and the CIA did an internal investigation and concluded that they were not the
- 23:29same people other than the fact that they were both alcoholics and had sweet,
- 23:33pencil thin mustaches. Yeah, that is that's an interesting one because the dates,
- 23:45you know, the dates on these documents of their employment is never accurate,
- 23:49right, especially the end date. So who knows, and of course
- 23:56Joe, Jolly Martin me no I'm just kidding. We did an episode on
- 24:02him, Rob, It's a great story. I urge you to check that
- 24:07out if you want to get his full story. Yes. Next up,
- 24:15we have a Jorge Martin Salazar who actually owned the house on Harlandale where a
- 24:22lot of these Cuban exiles would meet up, and it's alleged that Oswald made
- 24:26a few visits there as well prior to the assassination. So it was definitely
- 24:32under surveillance by the DPD Intelligence unit and a very interesting branch of the tree
- 24:40for sure, definitely. And the next one is kind of random that we
- 24:48found while searching as Jose Leon Martin fully said that right, and he was
- 24:55part of Cuban intelligence, I believe in Mexico City, Rob and uh,
- 25:03I believe they tried to turn him. I'm not sure about that, but
- 25:10either way, another Jay Martin involved in the story, Senior, and we
- 25:18get Now let's get to the places. Although I don't know who put this
- 25:25lit two of them. My golly, yeah, that's terrible. Huh.
- 25:30Martin's Cafe in New Orleans, which we have a graphic we've showed and we'll
- 25:36show again, and that's where Oswald cashes checks in New Orleans while he was
- 25:44working at the Rally Coffee Company, and it was ran by If you look
- 25:51a couple of names down Roland. J. Martin was the was the owner
- 25:55of the Martins Cafe and his family and Oswaldould frequently lunch there and he got
- 26:02his checked character there. Like I said, so interesting yep. And Martin's
- 26:11tavern, which we've talked about before. So where dcor is in DC,
- 26:17and it's where JFK proposed to Jackie and also wrote his inaugural speech. And
- 26:23there are booths. We have some images. We've shown them and I think
- 26:29we're gonna show them again. So we already talked about Roland, So why
- 26:33don't you do Edward. Edward J. Martin is the alias of James McCord
- 26:40Watergate Burglar, among whom three or four of them had Martin alias is coming
- 26:47from a John Martin who worked at the Department of Justice. So very interesting.
- 26:56Do the next one too, because you found that one as well.
- 27:00Information there. It just came across a Reverend W. J. Martin,
- 27:03who happened to be Henry Wade's pastor, and for some reason he was questioned
- 27:07during his question at the Warrant Commission about his church and his pastor. I
- 27:12don't know why. It's kind of weird if he asked me. But whatever,
- 27:19he counts as to Jay Martin associated with the assassination in some form or
- 27:23fashion. So there you go. And someone that was definitely or I think
- 27:32was very likely involved in the payment part of the assassination, if you will,
- 27:42and that is John Martine. Oh and he was, you know,
- 27:48a mobster, santo traficante associate. He ran, He was in Cuba.
- 27:56He was imprisoned because he was he was working casinos, was a he used
- 28:00to rag slot machines and other games. And he wrote a book, I
- 28:07Am Cash Shorts Prisoner. It's a very good book. Actually, I got
- 28:11a first edition edition copy somehow and it's a good read. So a very
- 28:17interesting character. We've talked about him before and his telling his kid to stay
- 28:25home from school and all that good stuff and to let him know if anything
- 28:29happened. So let's move on, shall we. Oh, breaking news Joe
- 28:37before we get into our next little segment here. Yeah, Meansworth passed away.
- 28:44Oh wow, recently. I don't know exactly when. I think it
- 28:48was a little bit before Christmas. But my buddy of mine on Facebook,
- 28:55let me know who's a Dallas native. I think Viele phrase your post about
- 29:00it as well. So Hugh ain't its worth passes away at the ripe old
- 29:04age of ninety couple, so he had a good long life, yeah,
- 29:11even though he was a what are your thoughts on er? Yeah, well,
- 29:19you know, I'm not one to dance on people's graves like some other
- 29:25people out there, So you know, I'm not gonna speak ill of the
- 29:29dead other than the fact that you know, he's part of the story.
- 29:33He was a Dallas native, he's an you know, he was an integral
- 29:37part of reporting and writing on a lot of the aspects of the assassination,
- 29:44even if he wasn't a conspiracy believer. So rest in peace, Hugh,
- 29:53Yes, even if you were a mockingbird, rest in peace. Yes,
- 30:03all right. So we have a cool A few new graphics are cool.
- 30:10Some graphics to kind of tie things up here and in order. You know,
- 30:15we had talked about where the Martin alias ranked in This is actually the
- 30:22twenty ten census. It was number twenty. One of our followers said was
- 30:30number sixteen. Maybe it was in nineteen sixty three. Either way, Robins
- 30:36has pointed out how that name is the perfect mill of the Line name to
- 30:41have an alias. So anything you want to add to this, Rob,
- 30:51not to that, but to what we were just talking about. Scott says,
- 30:55did you get Robert Moore's story a couple of days ago about Marina with
- 30:57the agent and Ainsworth a Marina sex tape and audio surveillance, the transcripts of
- 31:04which have been buried? No, we have not, So drop a link
- 31:11I got. I got to email this in the middle, like in the
- 31:15last twenty four hours from some guy I don't even know, with links to
- 31:19this. Yeah, Robert, somebody sends you a boy a link. Yeah,
- 31:25and it's I haven't ready yet because I've been traveling. But uh,
- 31:30that should be very interesting. Maybe maybe a follow up episode worthy if it's
- 31:36if it has cool stuff in it. Yeah, but again, remember the
- 31:40source, folks, h Robert more isn't the exactly the most credible of sources.
- 31:51So we'll we'll do some checking into it and see what we can find.
- 31:57Sure, So I'm just going to run through quickly the episodes that we
- 32:04have done. We obviously did one on the first one on Jack s.
- 32:09Martin, who who had four Martin aliases, King Martins, yes, one
- 32:16of the first ones, and then John Thomas Martin of course, who was
- 32:28one of our I don't want to say favorite. Yeah, but we were
- 32:34able to nail down exactly who he was. But he's a ghost, and
- 32:40we are working on getting the original tape from first generation research researcher the only
- 32:50person alive to have seen him, allegedly Gary Schoener, and we are having
- 32:57another researcher try to go help find the tape, so that is something I'm
- 33:06going and also of course trying to eventually find him and get a statement from
- 33:12him. You know, yeah, for sure. I think one of the
- 33:15most interesting things with this guy was just kind of scattering the Weisburg archives and
- 33:22finding the correspondence between Harold and Schooner back then, and learning exactly how this
- 33:29little story unfolded in Minnesota, and also to put into some context the the
- 33:40kind of journey that the Martin film has been on, and to determine,
- 33:46you know that the one that's at the sixth floor now is a copy from
- 33:52nineteen seventy seven, which means somebody at the HSCA made a copy of the
- 33:55original and kept the original and gave back to John Thomas Martin a copy that
- 34:02he thought was the original when he gave it to the sixth Floor. And
- 34:07I know that's confusing as hell, but that's why it's so important to try
- 34:13to find a pre nineteen seventy seven copy of this film, because it was
- 34:19either done by the CIA in order to teach them out of this film,
- 34:29or it was done by somebody that just wanted to get their hands on an
- 34:34original film pertaining to the assassination that had ties to the HSCA. So either
- 34:42way, it's highly important that we find the most earliest copy of this film
- 34:51possible, and that's what we're doing. We're still looking. You know,
- 34:55it could turn up anytime and we will do an immediate, the immediate breaking
- 35:00show about it if we do. Yes, do you want to tease the
- 35:06Alex thing or no? Tease what the Alex thing? Video? No?
- 35:13No, I think we might have him on our show here in a little,
- 35:15in a little, a little, a little couple few weeks. I
- 35:19think that would be neat. I think so too. He's a good guy.
- 35:24So back to the presentation. Oh, it's still sharing, Okay,
- 35:36So next episode. You know, we covered some Lucky Martin's mcgwilly, some
- 35:50DPD cops, the handsome John c on the bottom right, HM, the
- 35:58James W. Martin of the Trade mart on the upper left, touchery looking
- 36:04guy up the upper left, Lewis McWillie, and then we got the weasel
- 36:08Frediano down there in the upper right, pertaining to the John Martin of the
- 36:15teamsters who was murdered, and they eventually led to the rise of h who
- 36:30is it Joe halfa half a? Yes, So if John Martin had never
- 36:35been killed, Halfa probably never would have risen to the position that he was
- 36:38in, and they would have probably been somebody else's mafia teamster's legacy. Yeah,
- 36:49it's a fascinating, fascinating story of just how that all played out.
- 36:54We have take this one wrong. Uh. Yeah, we did a show
- 37:00all about Jolly Joe Martin only because there's just so much to unpack with this
- 37:07guy, and his story was so elaborate, intriguing and full of nooks and
- 37:15crannies. From all these other names that you've heard associated with the assassination,
- 37:21like Thomas Beckham, Fred Christman, you know, Jim Garrison, Bill Dauzel,
- 37:30William F. Buckley, Ross Buckley, clay Shaw, you name it.
- 37:36It's fascinating. We were also able to debunk some of Joan Mellon's research
- 37:46into this guy. So yeah, we feel accomplished when we get to do
- 37:52stuff like that, take away from these big big names a little bit and
- 37:57say, hey, no, no, no, no, no name,
- 38:00that's not true, that's not true. True. But he said he was
- 38:04never able to go on the air again, he was so traumatized by this
- 38:07kidnapping. Well that's not true at all. Just do a little research.
- 38:14Yah, it's pretty easy to find that. He went on to have a
- 38:16very long career until he passed in nineteen ninety five. So jolly Joe stayed
- 38:22jolly. Yeah. He was definitely lucky too. And uh, he was
- 38:29definitely doing some shady intelligence stuff, hiding Beckham, h whatever they did when
- 38:37they kidnapped him just crazy. And yes he is on this guy, yeah,
- 38:46to say the least. And uh and uh yeah that was a that
- 38:51was a fun episode too. So then we did, of course the Watergate
- 38:53Martins about McCord, Guenio Martinez, Frank Sturt, just all having j Martin
- 39:01aliases and it was McCord who said it was given to him. Oh no,
- 39:10McCord said his boss was mister John Martin. And also the alias was
- 39:16given to him, the physical alias by I Howard Hunt right. Yes,
- 39:22correct. So that was a great episode and kind of interesting that all these
- 39:29characters, they were very active in nineteen sixty three, very active, and
- 39:37they're still showing up, you know, in the seventies with the same alias,
- 39:44and it's just it just ties it all together. And you'll see why
- 39:50in the next few slides. Anything you wanted to add up. Yep,
- 39:58cool, This is my favorite, my favorite, mister James Herbert Martin.
- 40:07Now we did a great episode on him. I think we properly are the
- 40:14world's foremost expert experts on James Heber Barton. I'm not sure what that says
- 40:19about us, but this is a very interesting guy. We went into detail
- 40:27in the episode. You know, was he a great opportunist with great connections
- 40:31or was he something more? And then of course we went into his wife
- 40:37and and John Martin Thorne and possibly the mas damn that Rob found. So
- 40:49I'll let you finished off that. Your thoughts on that. Yeah, I
- 40:53think this is one of the more interesting and most new relevate relevations revelations that
- 41:04we that we kind of came across. And yes, we know that nothing
- 41:08is concrete here and we're not saying definitively on you know that these Martins were
- 41:17up to anything you know, by the agency, but from what we found,
- 41:23it certainly appears. So you know, it'd be one thing to find
- 41:28one or two things that kind of point in that general direction. You know,
- 41:31when you find twenty okay, Uh, that kind of changes your perspective
- 41:37on things. While nothing is concrete. And I know, like no True
- 41:43Flags had had some issues about the straight line. He thinks the DPD had
- 41:50it installed. You know, it's everything's up for speculation at this point.
- 41:58We don't know. It's interesting we have that document without the notation on it,
- 42:05or the document had been redacted at some point, and that's what we're
- 42:10seeing and then unredacted at some point, which is why we have to see
- 42:15that note on the bottom of that surveillance report. From my eyes, it's
- 42:22a surveillance report turned into their superiors. Okay. And if I don't know
- 42:30why the DPD would notate on a surveillance report of the Martins that they had
- 42:37a direct line installed to the White House that I just can't get there from
- 42:42here. But again, everything is just it's up for speculation until we find
- 42:47some more concrete information. We have some feelers out there to some folks who
- 42:54are experts in White House communications and hopefully we get some answers soon and we
- 43:00would be more than happy to share them to you when we get them and
- 43:05find them. Yeah. Yeah, And we had a very long conversation about
- 43:12this, hours long with with mister Larry Hancock and the direct line, the
- 43:21federal lease circuit line would have been installed by Bell Telephone. That's the only
- 43:30telephone company that was that would have been able to do that in that area,
- 43:36is what we were told. And it seems like someone in the Criminal
- 43:42Intelligence Division of the DPD made that notation and after maybe as a cya type
- 43:50of thing, you know, just so they notated that it was there,
- 43:58but it wasn't them, because you know, I think it was federal.
- 44:00It was going to the White House. This is this is not something that
- 44:05a state police department would have been tasked with particularly, so it's very interesting.
- 44:15And we even had people trying to pa poo the notion that the Missus
- 44:20James H. Martin referred to uh in the c i A documents is not
- 44:25Missus James Herbert Martin, is not Wanda L. Hobbes Martin. They think
- 44:34it's too good to be true. Mm hmm. But again my answer to
- 44:37that is, then why has it for five years been related to as a
- 44:45j f K H Records Act document? Yes, Richard Ender c I A.
- 44:54Yeah, and it's there's there just so happens to be a James H.
- 44:59Martin. This is associated with the JFK case, and that's James Herbert
- 45:02Martin, and he did have a wife, Missus James Missus James H.
- 45:07Martin, and we found some travel records designating her as that. We found
- 45:14CIA documents of relating to her as that, as well as her Christian name,
- 45:22you know, Wanda Wanda Martin. So again we've got more feelers out
- 45:29into the intelligence community, experts out there and who could possibly shed some more
- 45:35light on this whole thing when it comes to these wire intercepts and top secret
- 45:44CIA projects and things like that. So when we find something else out,
- 45:50we will update you as well. Yes, and I think the word that
- 45:57he used exactly was inexplicable I wrote it down. It's just mind blowing that
- 46:08that a that would be written down, and that probably Johnson wanted to be
- 46:14updated on anything that happened at the Martin home or the other possible circle would
- 46:23have been the r of cake party, and those are pretty much two of
- 46:31the main options. There's also you know, different intelligence agencies that could have
- 46:37gone to the line, but we think one of those two were wanted to
- 46:43keep tabs most likely. Yeah, and just because it says White House Communications
- 46:49doesn't mean that it was going directly to the White House. It was going
- 46:52to a White House communications building in DC twenty five. We think it was
- 46:58number twenty five because that's what's written on the document that says Washington twenty five
- 47:04COMMA DC. And you know, coming across this blog that was written by
- 47:08White House Communications expert and former employee during nineteen sixty three, these buildings are
- 47:15numbered. You know, I found various numbers of the buildings from like twenty
- 47:20one, forty six, ninety four. So what was building twenty five and
- 47:25where was it? And you know, who could have possibly been working there
- 47:30or working there undercover? We don't know. So again, as we find
- 47:37out some more info. We'll let you know. Yeah, another rabbit hole
- 47:42to go down. Yes, we liked the there's things doing this thing,
- 47:51all right? So next So that was our James Rupert Martin episode. That
- 47:55was our last one, the one we did last week, our talk about
- 48:00a couple of Martins that we haven't talked about yet. Quickly before we wrap
- 48:04it up. Yes, So when I found this, I was like,
- 48:08you got to be kidding me. So I came across the FBI documents for
- 48:16the ARB and in the nineties, folks, there was a JFK task Force
- 48:25set up by the Federal Bureau of Investigation. As you can see the date
- 48:29there in nineteen ninety eight, and this task force was tasked, if you
- 48:37will, with reviewing, classifying, and destroying JFK assassination related files. I
- 48:49don't know if Joe has the I don't on this, but it will be
- 48:53they talk about it will be destroying files. It will be on locals rob
- 48:59But yeah, I think you know, her name was attached to people like
- 49:02Joe Molina. Uh, she was. We found different document. We found
- 49:09several documents who mentioned that mentioned Joan Martin. As you can see, it's
- 49:15attention Joan Martin JFK task for his room one one, one for four and
- 49:20then at the top of the page it's it's even written there, handwritten.
- 49:23Uh, you know, attention Joan Martin. And I've tried to do some
- 49:30more digging on this woman and to no avail. So is this another use
- 49:37of another another ghost? I don't know, just another weird marching coincidence.
- 49:45Maybe there's been I lost count, but I think there's a lot. Of
- 49:50course. Uh, mister Pierre Lafitte, we talked about him. He had
- 49:58John Martin alias as well, and yeah, that's obviously really a hot topic
- 50:07in the community. So we're not really gonna get into that unless Rob wants
- 50:12to add anything to it. But another I can think this guy was you
- 50:22know this book Who in Dallas that recently came out. It's not the first
- 50:24book from Hank Albarelli to mention this guy. I think he also goes back
- 50:31to the whole Look, excuse me, look, who are my cursor is?
- 50:43I don't see it. Oh the pim Salt Club. I don't know
- 50:50it's it's It's in the article. I'm sorry, Okay, So I forget
- 50:57what I was saying. So go ahead next to that. I'm sorry,
- 51:00but uh no, it just at the end of the article. He returned
- 51:05to the US in ninet eighteen sixty seven and took the job at the Plimsaw
- 51:10Club under the name of Jean Martin. The government says, so we have
- 51:16touched on the Plumsaw Club in previous episodes. There are some interesting connections there,
- 51:24all right, right, Rob, you can take this wrongd oh okay,
- 51:32j E. Martin. This guy worked at the NASA complex in Michell,
- 51:39Louisiana, where many of the employees of Riley Coffee Company and likely other
- 51:46people that lived in New Orleans worked. You know when a big when a
- 51:52big factory plant like that opens up close to a major city, of course,
- 51:55a lot of people are going to try to get a job there is
- 52:00It's a government job that pays well with benefits. Dante Marysheny is interesting though.
- 52:07This fellow also used to work at the Riley Coffee Company and he was
- 52:14also we have surveillance reports that he would sometimes spend the night with David Ferry
- 52:22at his residence and he wasn't very happy with his non rising up the ladder
- 52:32at the Michell complex for NASA. Uh so he kept on filing grievances and
- 52:39complaints until he finally got all the way up to jay E Martin. We
- 52:45don't know his first name. I'm assuming it's John or Jack or Joe,
- 52:52but this is where you know he was. He took it all the way
- 52:55to the top to Martin and they told him, look, we're not going
- 53:01to give you a promotion. Basically, if you don't like it, you
- 53:06can leave. There's a door type of thing. But just because of the
- 53:10fact that you know this happened in sixty five and he was a former employee
- 53:20of the Riley Coffee Company, he had relations with David Ferry that he counts
- 53:24and should be included in the Martin Expanded Extended Universe. So there's Jaye Martin
- 53:34for you. Just like the universe and Martin's, they just keep expanding.
- 53:42Of course, you have seen this graphic before. This says Martin's Restaurant owned
- 53:49by Roland Martin, where Lee Oswald, well cash just checks. We've gone
- 53:53to this, so we're not going to waste more time, I'm int,
- 53:57but we just wanted to show this because there's a a lot of Martin coincidences
- 54:01like this one. Yes, the Martins Tavern in DC. This is in
- 54:08Georgetown and DC, and they have a couple of cool booths here at the
- 54:14Martin's Tavern, and one is the booth in which he wrote his inaugural speech
- 54:20in nineteen sixty one I believe it was sixty or sixty one. And then
- 54:25also there's a booth in Martin's tavern where he proposed to Jackie Jacqueline Bouvier at
- 54:37the time. And of course many other presidents have visited here and have different
- 54:44booths as well. They have different things on the menu. So just again
- 54:50another crazy coincidence that JFK had ties to the Martins tavern in DC and Georgetown,
- 54:57and some of the most important times of his life happened here inside of
- 55:02this tavern. YEP, just another Martin coincidence. So what are we to
- 55:15make of all this Martin coincidences and all these Martins and all these j Martins.
- 55:27Do you want to go first? The short answer is I have no
- 55:34effing idea. The long answer is, I think the conspiratorial mind can definitely
- 55:45say, hey, there's way too many Martins here to be a coincidence.
- 55:50Something's going on. There's some definite fuquy going on around here. So what's
- 55:54what agency is behind this, what agency uses aliases, what agency likes to
- 56:00confuse, you know? Or you could be in the mind that all right,
- 56:07Well, some of these are definitely real people, some of these are
- 56:12definitely their real names. But yet so we know some of them are aliases.
- 56:16So could it all be a coincidence? Maybe maybe not? You know,
- 56:23you have two filmers named John Martin from Minnesota. I mean, is
- 56:30this a coincidence? Is this meant to confuse or deceive when people try to
- 56:36look into things and figure things out, or is it just one of those
- 56:44one in a billion coincidences from a middle of the road twentieth most common surname
- 56:52in America. Again, I don't have a definitive answer. You know,
- 56:59part of me wants to think that there's something going on. I think when
- 57:00you look a little bit deeper, like we did for some of these Martins,
- 57:05is there are some very interesting backstories going on here and some very more
- 57:09interesting leads to follow and more threads to pull on to try to unravel the
- 57:16sweater that is the Kennedy assassination. And that's what we've been trying to do
- 57:22and you know, until we have a definitive answer one way or the other
- 57:29on some of these, you know we're gonna keep pulling. Joe, what
- 57:34do you think about all these Martins? What do you make out of all
- 57:36this? I agree with your short answer. I don't f and know Jesus
- 57:45like there are. It seems that there are too many coincidences involving the name
- 57:54Martin to be a coincidence. Too many Martins, too many references to Martin's
- 58:01I think there was something sinister going on with this alias. I think that
- 58:07maybe it was noticed that Martin's name came up a few times, so maybe
- 58:15let's use that as an alias. Maybe it was meant to troll jave Pain
- 58:22a sense. We showed you the list. Half the list is named John.
- 58:27The aliases, they are all connected. Most of them are connected to
- 58:35the agency I think Rob was referring to. That would be the CIA.
- 58:40They all had some type of ties there, whether it was before or after.
- 58:45And yeah, this journey has been really interesting and we've gone down some
- 58:51paths that not a lot of people have. And you know what to make
- 58:57of all this? I'm not sure. So this is the quote we finished
- 59:01our Lancer presentation with it's from Richard Paul Evans, I believe in New York
- 59:08Times best selling writer right Ron, Yeah, sometimes a coincidence is no coincidence
- 59:16at all, but a purposeful action and disguise. Yeah, we thought that
- 59:22was a really cool quote. They kind of summed up this whole Martin thing
- 59:27for us. You know, is is it crazy that half of these people
- 59:34are named John? No, John is the most common first name in America,
- 59:39so it wouldn't make sense that the majority of these Jay Martin's are named
- 59:45John or Jack or Joe. But again, is it a coincidence or is
- 59:53it a purposeful action in disguise? Killer? I go with the letter if
- 1:00:04I if I had to guess coincidence or action and disguise, I think,
- 1:00:10what what we've found, what we spent a long long time researching. Uh
- 1:00:19points me in that direction for sure. When when you look into people and
- 1:00:27that were named Martin, that had significant roles, like Marina's lawyer, like
- 1:00:31the person Marina moved in with, James Herbert Martin, Jack Martin blew the
- 1:00:37whistle on the whole New Orleans thing. There's they played crucial roles. A
- 1:00:43lot of them have Why are they looking for Jack Martin the day of the
- 1:00:46assassination before they catch Lee Harvey Oswald? You know that's a red flag for
- 1:00:52me. Yeah, for sure. So there's a lot of red flags.
- 1:01:00Hm. You have all these Martins is and it's just a giant wilderness of
- 1:01:07mirrors to quote James Haleton when it when it comes to the this stuff,
- 1:01:15there's a lot. There's a lot and a lot of aliases by very suss
- 1:01:22people using the name Martin. Yeah. Ties to the c I A yes,
- 1:01:29So that was the agency that mainly used kryptonyms and aliases. Right,
- 1:01:36So of course we lay this at their feet more than anybody else. Right.
- 1:01:42We know McCord was right. We know uh uh, Joseph James Martin
- 1:01:49was uh. We have a document that as Wanda Hobbs Martin uh had an
- 1:01:55oral contract Jack Martin and has long been suspected to be part of this CIA,
- 1:02:04but it was not per our research and Rob's And you know, you
- 1:02:15have people like Lafitte using that alias, McWillie using that alias. These are
- 1:02:20very shady people. And Eugenio Martinez U CIA. You know what I mean?
- 1:02:29Like at some point there's a trend and it's too obvious Sugnor in my
- 1:02:37opinion, Yeah, I think half these guys you could safely say had ties
- 1:02:40to the agency in some former fashion, or have been alleged to have ties
- 1:02:44to the Agency in some former fashion over the years. Maybe something we can't
- 1:02:49prove, like Sturgis or John Martino people like that. But you know a
- 1:02:54lot of these other ones we know for sure that they did have ties to
- 1:02:58the agency. We have the doctor mus to prove it. So again,
- 1:03:04this is a culmination, folks, of two years of deep diving research from
- 1:03:09us that we've been working on. It's the reason Joe is now the co
- 1:03:14host of this very show, and it's the reason we were asked to present
- 1:03:20at Lancer, and it's the reason these last six weeks of shows have been
- 1:03:24all about the Martins. And we hopefully cleared up some things on this show
- 1:03:30because we do know it's a very confusing topic for sure, And if you
- 1:03:36still are confused, go back and watch the entire series again, because you
- 1:03:44know if you miss if you miss the show or an episode, you may
- 1:03:46have missed something that could be clarified for you. Or just shoot us an
- 1:03:51email at the Lone Gumman Podcast at gmail dot com and we'll try to answer
- 1:03:55everybody, and we got anything else, Joe, No, I mean,
- 1:04:02I'm obviously honored that you offered me to join the Lone Gunman. The Martin
- 1:04:14Show and research journey that we've been on has been a very crazy one.
- 1:04:18I've enjoyed it. I think it actually we actually contributed to the case because
- 1:04:26when future researchers are reading through documents and the name Martin comes up, maybe
- 1:04:31a little Tenna comes up in their head, you know, and you just
- 1:04:35have that little Suss type of keep an eye out for Martin. Yeah,
- 1:04:44send us anything Martin related and yeah, it's it's been great and we have
- 1:04:50some exciting new things. Thanks coming down the pipeline for you guys. We
- 1:04:57are going to try to be doing unique and uh, you know, I
- 1:05:03can't be more excited. Robs the Man and you know made it and Natty
- 1:05:14Steve says, we're awesome, But it's you guys that are awesome for showing
- 1:05:18up here for us consistently since we've been here on YouTube. I think we've
- 1:05:24got a great core group of listeners here, always looking to expand things.
- 1:05:29And you know, there may be twenty people here but you know what,
- 1:05:33within what a day last week, that last show shot up to over five
- 1:05:39hundred views. So, hey, we're doing something good. We're doing something
- 1:05:45right, and we appreciate each and every one of you for participating and showing
- 1:05:49up here because we like the interaction with you. Guys, ask more questions,
- 1:05:56make more comments. We encourage it and know it's cool that we can
- 1:06:00do this live and answer you guys live. I mean, that's that's just
- 1:06:06cool. And I will give them a little bit of a preview of our
- 1:06:12next episode, said Joe, because it is going to be something different than
- 1:06:16the Martin shows that we've been doing, just a little bit, a lot
- 1:06:23different. It's going to be a lot different. We are going on the
- 1:06:27offensive, if you will, and we are going to be striking first towards
- 1:06:38another couple of podcasts who may have wronged your Boy and Joe a couple of
- 1:06:48months ago while spreading, while spreading a lot, Yes, so they have
- 1:06:55earned a show dedicated all to them. I'm your boys, yes, because
- 1:07:02when you know that when somebody wrongs me, I don't stay silent about it
- 1:07:12for long. And trust me, this deserves a clap back, This deserves
- 1:07:15a public tongue lashing, and that is exactly what we're going to be doling
- 1:07:20out on the next episode with Proof. With Proof, Yes, so tune
- 1:07:30in next weekend for that episode because that one is going to be very contentious,
- 1:07:38very exciting, jaw droppingly unbelievable. And make sure you wait until January
- 1:07:45third through seventh. If you want something from the merch shop, you get
- 1:07:48a twenty four percent discount. And if you're looking for some good hot sauce,
- 1:07:54check out Silk cityhotsauce dot com. Enter the code Guvernment for twenty percent
- 1:07:58off your entire order. To Joe in closing, do you have anything?
- 1:08:03Yes. I want to thank everyone for staying with us too, and uh
- 1:08:11for you know, some of our technical difficulties towards the beginning. I think
- 1:08:16if you watch the whole series, I'll know we're getting a lot better.
- 1:08:19This is very new to us. We want to interact with the people.
- 1:08:24You know I'm learning. I want to thank you guys for bearing with me,
- 1:08:29and and thank Rob as well, and and we cannot be more excited
- 1:08:35for the next show. To add to our point, it's not only about
- 1:08:40that they wronged us, It's about that they're a pretty big conspiracy show and
