- 0:00Speaker 1: Hey guys, I just want to give you a quick
- 0:01Speaker 1: disclaimer before we get into this episode. The topic of
- 0:04Speaker 1: domestic abuse will be spoken about a lot, so I
- 0:08Speaker 1: just wanted to give you that warning.
- 0:10Speaker 2: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:13Speaker 2: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:16Speaker 1: Oh hi, friends, we have a breaking news episode on
- 0:20Speaker 1: the Taylor Frankie Paul News. It's not good news right now.
- 0:25Speaker 1: So we talked in our last episode with Trista and
- 0:28Speaker 1: Deanna right after before the final Rows the special aired
- 0:33Speaker 1: on Sunday night, that there was news breaking about a
- 0:35Speaker 1: domestic violent situation in Vowing Taylor and her ex bab Well,
- 0:40Speaker 1: her baby daddy, her ex Dakota. The Mormon Wives filming
- 0:46Speaker 1: has been paused and since then we have received a
- 0:51Speaker 1: lot of information. A lot of this is coming from TMZ.
- 0:56Speaker 1: But this is a big situation and it's a very upset,
- 1:00Speaker 1: disappointing situation. It's involving domestic violence. As we know, Taylor
- 1:07Speaker 1: does have a past in this. She was arrested for
- 1:12Speaker 1: domestic violence against Dakota a couple of years ago. She's
- 1:15Speaker 1: talked about it. It's been a topic on Secret Lives,
- 1:19Speaker 1: and now it seems like it is it has happened
- 1:23Speaker 1: again about three weeks ago, and we don't know the truth.
- 1:30Speaker 1: So here we are just kind of regurgitating what we're
- 1:34Speaker 1: hearing from different outlets. But we are here to do that,
- 1:38Speaker 1: So don't hold anything that we are saying as truth.
- 1:42Speaker 1: We are honestly speaking in rumor right now.
- 1:47Speaker 3: We should also probably know, Ashley, that this is an
- 1:50Speaker 3: ongoing story, So information is constantly coming in and we're
- 1:55Speaker 3: getting a little bit more here, a little bit more
- 1:58Speaker 3: there as the days and hours go by.
- 2:00Speaker 1: Yes, so Heather's here with me now, and Ben is
- 2:03Speaker 1: going to do another episode later today. Because so much
- 2:07Speaker 1: is breaking, we want to just kind of keep you updated.
- 2:11Speaker 1: I mean, this is a really big week. The girl
- 2:13Speaker 1: just went to the Oscars. Then she had a special air,
- 2:16Speaker 1: which we haven't had a bachelorette special like that. After
- 2:19Speaker 1: the Oscars, like basically ever, she's supposed to be bringing
- 2:22Speaker 1: back the franchise. She was a very She was a
- 2:26Speaker 1: divisive choice at the beginning. A lot of people were like,
- 2:29Speaker 1: they would never have put a man with a domestic
- 2:32Speaker 1: violence background as the lead of the show. It seems hypnocritical.
- 2:39Speaker 1: It's just a questionable choice to have anybody with that
- 2:41Speaker 1: kind of background as the lead of a romantic show,
- 2:46Speaker 1: and now we're seeing that something happened again. Something has
- 2:53Speaker 1: happened again, and it's the week of her premiere. It's crazy, Heather.
- 3:00Speaker 1: Before we go into the actual story, like the speculative story,
- 3:06Speaker 1: what are you do? You have anything to say?
- 3:08Speaker 3: Well, I just want you to I want to get
- 3:10Speaker 3: your thoughts on the fact that this all. First of all,
- 3:14Speaker 3: this happened on February twenty third, that is what's being
- 3:17Speaker 3: reported as to when the cops were called and there
- 3:21Speaker 3: was interaction with the cops. We are now at March
- 3:25Speaker 3: seventeenth as we're recording this, and it came out on
- 3:30Speaker 3: Sunday night, So it came out after Taylor walked the
- 3:34Speaker 3: carpet at the Oscars, and it came out after her
- 3:37Speaker 3: special aired. I want to know your opinion on that
- 3:40Speaker 3: when you hear that, Well.
- 3:42Speaker 1: See, I feel like you're more of an expert in this.
- 3:44Speaker 1: You're kind of like the behind the scenes girl. You know,
- 3:46Speaker 1: you're in casting, your production, and I'm just like, you
- 3:51Speaker 1: feel like there's some something there, like somebody had like
- 3:55Speaker 1: TMZ even may have had this report, but they held
- 3:58Speaker 1: it back out of like negotiation and friendliness with networks.
- 4:02Speaker 1: That is because if you were on the Secret Lives
- 4:06Speaker 1: in Bachelorette like quote quote dark Web, you could have
- 4:09Speaker 1: seen that there was speculations that there was going to
- 4:13Speaker 1: be another domestic violent violence report about Taylor coming out
- 4:18Speaker 1: within the next few weeks. I think what's crazy is
- 4:21Speaker 1: that this secret has been kept for at least three
- 4:23Speaker 1: weeks because they were filming Secret Lives, So that means
- 4:27Speaker 1: that there was so many people involved in that production
- 4:30Speaker 1: on screen and off, and then there was just like
- 4:36Speaker 1: the fact that these people are they're so well known
- 4:40Speaker 1: in their communities and in America. The fact that people
- 4:45Speaker 1: who heard and saw about this, nobody has been like, hey,
- 4:49Speaker 1: red flag, hi, hi, Hi, this is much to be
- 4:51Speaker 1: your Bachelorette lead. That's crazy that it hasn't leaked in
- 4:55Speaker 1: three weeks.
- 4:56Speaker 3: Well, we did obviously when we put together Frankie Friday's
- 5:00Speaker 3: every week. We do see a lot of stuff, right,
- 5:02Speaker 3: and the stuff that is rumored or commented sometimes we
- 5:06Speaker 3: talk about it, but if there's not a lot of
- 5:09Speaker 3: stuff to back it up, you know, a comment here
- 5:12Speaker 3: or there is just sometimes somebody's opinion. But I would
- 5:15Speaker 3: be lying if I said that I hadn't seen a
- 5:17Speaker 3: couple of comments circulating from people in Dakota's camp specifically
- 5:24Speaker 3: talking or hinting at this that this was coming. I
- 5:27Speaker 3: believe we saw a comment from Dakota's girlfriend or latest girlfriend,
- 5:34Speaker 3: making some kind of shady comment. I think we recorded
- 5:36Speaker 3: on that the day that the Bachelorette trailer came out.
- 5:39Speaker 3: I believe she made some sort of comment underneath that
- 5:42Speaker 3: that was like alleging something. I can't sorry, I can't
- 5:46Speaker 3: recall exactly what, but I remember it was something about
- 5:51Speaker 3: when you find out like that the Bachelorette is actually
- 5:53Speaker 3: the one there for the wrong reasons, I believe was
- 5:56Speaker 3: something along the lines. And then we had another comment
- 6:00Speaker 3: circulating from somebody that knows Dakota hinting at another domestic
- 6:04Speaker 3: violence I believe they specifically said another domestic violence account
- 6:10Speaker 3: was going to be coming out very soon. So it
- 6:13Speaker 3: was circulating on the internet. It didn't get the full
- 6:16Speaker 3: press coverage until Sunday, and I do believe that that
- 6:19Speaker 3: is a very calculated move.
- 6:22Speaker 4: I can't tell you why they did.
- 6:23Speaker 1: That from the PR gods.
- 6:25Speaker 3: From the PR team, and I say my best guess
- 6:29Speaker 3: is that they were thinking it would get buried by
- 6:32Speaker 3: OSCAR coverage. To have released it so late at night,
- 6:35Speaker 3: I don't know, but all I do know is that
- 6:39Speaker 3: they have to get in front of this, and they
- 6:41Speaker 3: have to do it soon, because as much time as
- 6:44Speaker 3: goes by, the more we're seeing all of this, he said.
- 6:48Speaker 3: She said, different sides coming out, and it's not looking
- 6:51Speaker 3: good for her, and it's not looking good for the show.
- 6:55Speaker 4: And I can.
- 6:56Speaker 3: Say with insider knowledge what we have heard is that
- 7:00Speaker 3: the show is not going away. Bachelorette is not getting canceled,
- 7:04Speaker 3: and as of right now, on March seventeenth, when we
- 7:07Speaker 3: are recording this, it is still set to premiere.
- 7:10Speaker 1: I remember when Bachelor and Paradise season four, yeah, four
- 7:16Speaker 1: oh yes got shut down because of the sexual assault allegations.
- 7:22Speaker 1: That news spread rapidly huge, and that was a set
- 7:29Speaker 1: shut down, right, yes, How has the secret lives in?
- 7:32Speaker 1: Like the Continental US has been shut down for three
- 7:37Speaker 1: weeks and nobody's talked about it, And apparently, guys, this
- 7:42Speaker 1: is production wants to go forward. I guess that's probably
- 7:45Speaker 1: the difference. Production wants to go forward. The cast is
- 7:48Speaker 1: the one that is saying we will not go forward
- 7:51Speaker 1: until this is addressed.
- 7:53Speaker 4: Exactly.
- 7:55Speaker 3: You know, I can't speak to what their filming schedule is, Like,
- 7:59Speaker 3: I don't know if maybe they had planned downtime already
- 8:03Speaker 3: around this because of her going and doing press for
- 8:06Speaker 3: this season and whatnot, Like maybe they had a weird
- 8:09Speaker 3: schedule going on. So I don't know exactly if they've
- 8:11Speaker 3: been down for three weeks, but we do have confirmation
- 8:14Speaker 3: that they are currently down right now. Cameras are down,
- 8:18Speaker 3: and you and I both know when cameras go down,
- 8:21Speaker 3: that's a very expensive choice for a show and for
- 8:25Speaker 3: a network to make. They really try to not go
- 8:29Speaker 3: down for a specific reason, and that's because the employees
- 8:34Speaker 3: that make these shows work freelance and work different shows,
- 8:38Speaker 3: so when they're not working, they're not getting paid. We're
- 8:41Speaker 3: talking about the camera guys, hair and makeup, all of
- 8:44Speaker 3: those kinds of people. So the longer you go down,
- 8:47Speaker 3: the more you risk having your crew have to go
- 8:50Speaker 3: find jobs elsewhere. They don't just love to sit around
- 8:54Speaker 3: and wait to not get paid and not work. So
- 8:58Speaker 3: it's a very expensive decision every single day that they
- 9:01Speaker 3: are down to not be filming, and it also allows
- 9:06Speaker 3: the new cycle to keep going and they're not actually
- 9:09Speaker 3: catching things in real time, which is very difficult for
- 9:13Speaker 3: a show like this that relies on reality.
- 9:16Speaker 1: That's right. They hate that, Yes, they hate that. Okay,
- 9:20Speaker 1: so let's get into the actual story. Sources close to them.
- 9:24Speaker 1: Two sources close to the Secret Laves of Mormon Wives
- 9:26Speaker 1: production tells TMZ that Dakota and Taylor were spending time
- 9:32Speaker 1: together at his place when they started fighting about Dakota's
- 9:35Speaker 1: romantic past, namely his hookup with a cast member Shaniah Powell.
- 9:41Speaker 1: Where I am in season two, which I'm cruising through it,
- 9:45Speaker 1: I'm just really try. I swear to you like I'm
- 9:47Speaker 1: in now, I'm in. I don't know her. Is she
- 9:50Speaker 1: a prominent figure?
- 9:51Speaker 4: No?
- 9:51Speaker 3: She does literally not show up until season four this
- 9:54Speaker 3: season okay.
- 9:55Speaker 1: So basically she's not a cast member as we would know.
- 9:59Speaker 3: No, I will say, Bachelor fans, if you are not
- 10:02Speaker 3: up to date with season four, we do see a
- 10:06Speaker 3: lot of Letia gar and she is hanged shanayah.
- 10:09Speaker 1: Okay cool. Yeah, And Bachelor fans, if you aren't Secret
- 10:13Speaker 1: Lives fans, it's interesting to watch the last few episodes
- 10:17Speaker 1: and we see Taylor say her goodbye because it's a
- 10:19Speaker 1: really it's very much a rollover moment. You really should
- 10:23Speaker 1: watch it. I mean, if you can get past the
- 10:26Speaker 1: story we're about to get into. So we have been
- 10:29Speaker 1: told that it got physical. This is TMZ as Taylor
- 10:32Speaker 1: allegedly choked Dakota and ripped his necklace off, grabbing his
- 10:37Speaker 1: throat and face, and this happened with their son Ever
- 10:42Speaker 1: in the room. One source says that Dakota even called
- 10:47Speaker 1: police that night, but Taylor somehow convinced him to change
- 10:51Speaker 1: his story and tell the cops that everything was good.
- 10:54Speaker 1: She apologized and even returned to Dakota's home the following night.
- 10:59Speaker 1: That meeting also went south. Taylor allegedly scratched his neck
- 11:04Speaker 1: during a second night of fighting and checked his phone
- 11:07Speaker 1: against the wall. Isn't that what happened in the first
- 11:09Speaker 1: domestic abuse? I remember something along the lines, but don't
- 11:13Speaker 1: quote me on that. I'm so sorry. We're told that
- 11:16Speaker 1: DMZ is told that a friend of Dakota's saw his
- 11:20Speaker 1: neck the next day, and that the friend then called
- 11:23Speaker 1: the police. Responding officers interviewed him and were told that
- 11:27Speaker 1: they saw proof of injuries. So TMZ broke this story
- 11:32Speaker 1: and Taylor. Frankie Paul has a much different version of events,
- 11:36Speaker 1: as sources with direct knowledge to her say that Dakota
- 11:40Speaker 1: was the primary aggressor during a recent car ride with Taylor,
- 11:46Speaker 1: but the other production sources have negated the allegation, saying
- 11:50Speaker 1: that she was physically abusive to him and their son.
- 11:54Speaker 1: Production is again paused due to the former couple's volatile relationship,
- 12:00Speaker 1: and we're TMZ is told that we've been ordered to
- 12:04Speaker 1: get they've been both ordered to get psych evaluations. Sources
- 12:09Speaker 1: close to Dakota say that no such test has been
- 12:12Speaker 1: ordered on him. And then it's despite the producers wanting
- 12:17Speaker 1: to keep the cameras rolling because of the nature of
- 12:19Speaker 1: the allegations, Taylor's Bachelorette season debuting next week, which has
- 12:25Speaker 1: been completely shot, the co stars are refusing to continue filming.
- 12:29Speaker 1: As we mentioned earlier, all right, I mean, that's just awful, awful, awful, awful,
- 12:44Speaker 1: awful stuff, and especially with the fact that ever has
- 12:46Speaker 1: been allegedly in the room. You made a comment earlier
- 12:50Speaker 1: about the fact that you have heard and rumblings on
- 12:53Speaker 1: the internet and such that there's been calls to child
- 12:57Speaker 1: protective services.
- 12:59Speaker 3: Yes, we've been seeing reports things floating around on the
- 13:05Speaker 3: internet that allegedly Dakota has been calling CPS on Taylor. Again,
- 13:14Speaker 3: we don't have solid concrete proof on this, but that
- 13:17Speaker 3: is what has been alleged. It says, well, here we'll
- 13:23Speaker 3: go into this one. Mormon Wives Taylor Frankie Paul is
- 13:26Speaker 3: sharing child custody with Dakota.
- 13:28Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly, so that does roll over into this. Yeah,
- 13:31Speaker 1: there has been alleged evidence of her erotic behavior. But
- 13:36Speaker 1: reality Steve has posted a photo of what claims the
- 13:40Speaker 1: which somebody is claiming that this photo is of Dakota's phone,
- 13:45Speaker 1: and we can also say that these photos situation like
- 13:49Speaker 1: this could be easily doctored. But it's supposedly his roommate
- 13:52Speaker 1: that sent the picture to him, and the photo shows
- 13:54Speaker 1: that Taylor in January called Dakota one hundred and fifty
- 14:00Speaker 1: times in ninety minutes. The photo apparently has been verified
- 14:05Speaker 1: and shows that even after she has completed filming, she
- 14:09Speaker 1: still couldn't get over Dakota and maybe will never be. So, yeah,
- 14:15Speaker 1: there's obviously some sort of continued relationship with Dakota. I
- 14:20Speaker 1: mean they're spending supposed elliged nights over at each other's
- 14:25Speaker 1: house and having these kinds of fights. Can't imagine that
- 14:30Speaker 1: she's in any sort of relationship more healthy one with anyone.
- 14:34Speaker 3: Well, maybe we should address then, the fact that as
- 14:37Speaker 3: all this was breaking yesterday, Taylor opted to post a
- 14:41Speaker 3: video on her TikTok of her and the text I'll
- 14:45Speaker 3: read it says, I can't hear you.
- 14:48Speaker 4: I'm kind of.
- 14:48Speaker 1: Busy and yeah, so it's the Gaga sage, the gagassa.
- 14:52Speaker 3: And then a man's arm comes into the shot and
- 14:56Speaker 3: kind of like pushes.
- 14:57Speaker 4: Her out of the way.
- 14:58Speaker 3: Interesting choice to put on this day, making it very
- 15:02Speaker 3: light and fluffy. A lot of people in the comments
- 15:05Speaker 3: are speculating we're going to do a spoiler right here.
- 15:08Speaker 3: If you're still interested in watching the season and don't
- 15:10Speaker 3: want to be spoiled, don't listen to this. People are
- 15:13Speaker 3: speculating it's Doug from her season that you know, and
- 15:19Speaker 3: we don't know right, it's just an arm. I saw
- 15:21Speaker 3: another comment thinking it was maybe Harry Jowsey, who makes
- 15:24Speaker 3: an appearance on season four. What did you think of
- 15:27Speaker 3: that TikTok.
- 15:28Speaker 1: Okay, Well, first, I think it could be any man's arm.
- 15:31Speaker 1: She's trying to make a statement that she's with someone
- 15:35Speaker 1: and not with Dakota. She's trying to say, I'm too
- 15:38Speaker 1: busy Dakota to be answering your phone. Yeah. I don't
- 15:42Speaker 1: know whether or not this was a ploy to distract.
- 15:48Speaker 1: If this was her trying to be like, oh, like
- 15:52Speaker 1: all this hearsay that you're hearing like not paying attention
- 15:55Speaker 1: to it, or if this was some sort of idea
- 15:59Speaker 1: on Bachelorette end to kind of like, I do not
- 16:04Speaker 1: think it was on the Bachelorette. You don't think that
- 16:06Speaker 1: the Bachelor had anything that they didn't. You don't think
- 16:08Speaker 1: that they said like, hey, Taylor, why don't you post
- 16:10Speaker 1: something that shows that you're in a relationship and you like,
- 16:13Speaker 1: don't give a crap about what's going on with this
- 16:15Speaker 1: Dakota world. No.
- 16:16Speaker 3: I think that anything that hints and spoils the end
- 16:19Speaker 3: they get upset at. I mean, let's not forget Caitlin
- 16:23Speaker 3: Bristow spoiling her own season. I think that that was
- 16:28Speaker 3: her doing something being sassy and being fun. But I
- 16:33Speaker 3: do not think that that was an advisory from the
- 16:36Speaker 3: show to post that.
- 16:38Speaker 1: Okay, so do you think that that is her trying
- 16:40Speaker 1: to say I do end up with someone and I
- 16:43Speaker 1: don't care about Dakota possibly and I also think that
- 16:47Speaker 1: possibly she's responding to Reality Steve, who's you know, literally
- 16:52Speaker 1: making fun of her, calling him one hundred and fifty
- 16:55Speaker 1: some odd times, and it's like she's like, oh, actually,
- 16:59Speaker 1: I'm definitely too busy to be calling him that many times.
- 17:02Speaker 4: Yes, that sounds very Taylor.
- 17:06Speaker 1: Yeah, that sounds like a response to Reality Steve and
- 17:11Speaker 1: not to any allegation.
- 17:12Speaker 4: Yes.
- 17:13Speaker 3: I also want to say that in these reports from TMZ,
- 17:16Speaker 3: it does say that Taylor and Dakota have actually not
- 17:20Speaker 3: spoken to one another in three weeks since this situation
- 17:25Speaker 3: went down.
- 17:27Speaker 1: So that's probably the timeline in which if he's allegedly
- 17:31Speaker 1: calling child Protective Services, he would probably have been doing
- 17:34Speaker 1: it in the past three weeks, because I don't think
- 17:36Speaker 1: he's going to do it if he's continuing to hang
- 17:39Speaker 1: out with the mom.
- 17:40Speaker 3: Also, I think it's important to note, right like, I'm
- 17:44Speaker 3: not a lawyer, I'm not a police officer, neither is Ashley.
- 17:48Speaker 3: But when somebody has a prior on their record, I
- 17:53Speaker 3: don't think that those people, whether they're on TV or not,
- 17:56Speaker 3: just get like kind.
- 17:57Speaker 4: Of a pass.
- 17:58Speaker 3: So I do want to just note that, you know,
- 18:02Speaker 3: Taylor does have a record, and I think that that
- 18:05Speaker 3: kind of stuff gets taken seriously. So again, we don't
- 18:09Speaker 3: know the validity of if Child Prospective Services has been called,
- 18:13Speaker 3: how many times they've been called, if they've investigated her
- 18:16Speaker 3: at all, We don't know that. But I would hope
- 18:19Speaker 3: that somebody with a prior on their record would not
- 18:23Speaker 3: just be getting overlooked because they're on TV. I don't
- 18:26Speaker 3: think that that's how law enforcement and CPS works.
- 18:31Speaker 1: Yeah, that's the true. So let's also talk about one
- 18:34Speaker 1: of my favorites, my favorite Bachelor lam Sidney Warner. She
- 18:39Speaker 1: was on Peter's season, and she just posted her thoughts
- 18:44Speaker 1: about like one of the last episodes of season four
- 18:47Speaker 1: of Secret Lives in which you see Taylor heading to
- 18:51Speaker 1: the airport to go film Bachelorette the night after she
- 18:55Speaker 1: sleeps with Dakota, and she's like, this is not who
- 18:58Speaker 1: I want as a bachelor, Basically this woman who obviously
- 19:03Speaker 1: is not over her ex. So this is what Sidney wrote.
- 19:05Speaker 1: She goes, this is so upsetting I am a result
- 19:09Speaker 1: of being on The Bachelor, I owe a lot to
- 19:11Speaker 1: that franchise, and The Bachelor is one of the most
- 19:13Speaker 1: iconic shows of all time and was so highly respected
- 19:16Speaker 1: because they held contestants is such a standard. It was
- 19:19Speaker 1: such an honor to be cast, let alone be cast
- 19:21Speaker 1: as the lead. That's life changing. To watch this episode,
- 19:27Speaker 1: which you can see and which you know. Heather and
- 19:30Speaker 1: I were saying that it's probably worth watching if you're
- 19:32Speaker 1: gonna watch the season. So to watch this and to
- 19:36Speaker 1: see this soon to be lead completely disrespect that stage
- 19:39Speaker 1: that she's been given. The men who put their entire
- 19:42Speaker 1: lives on hold to come and meet her is horrible.
- 19:45Speaker 1: What has happened to morals and values?
- 19:47Speaker 3: She goes on to call the series a dying franchise. Yeah,
- 19:52Speaker 3: and why not let the show die out with class
- 19:54Speaker 3: and dignity and not stoop down and claw and scrape
- 19:57Speaker 3: just to get views. She added, I feel so bad
- 20:01Speaker 3: for those guys. Seriously, this is hard to watch someone
- 20:04Speaker 3: completely not care about something so prestigious that so many
- 20:08Speaker 3: girls would do anything to be given.
- 20:10Speaker 4: What is going on?
- 20:12Speaker 1: That's such a good point. That's actually such a good point.
- 20:16Speaker 1: She was stunt casted to get views and it I
- 20:21Speaker 1: think is was gonna work, and they took a huge
- 20:26Speaker 1: risk choosing somebody that had a past, and I just
- 20:31Speaker 1: can't believe. I can't believe she'd let it happen again.
- 20:35Speaker 1: You know, that's like a whole other thing. Yeah, there's
- 20:37Speaker 1: a whole bunch of other girls that were more deserving
- 20:40Speaker 1: and more ready for this role. But for her to
- 20:44Speaker 1: like be in the position that she's in about for
- 20:47Speaker 1: her show to premiere and she behaves like this, like
- 20:54Speaker 1: this girl is like completely reckless. I what do you
- 20:58Speaker 1: think about that? Like? How do you not?
- 21:00Speaker 4: I think that the writing was on the wall with
- 21:02Speaker 4: this one.
- 21:03Speaker 3: I just think that, you know, as people would say,
- 21:05Speaker 3: a leopard doesn't change its spots. I think that Taylor
- 21:08Speaker 3: has always shown this kind of behavior, and it's actually
- 21:14Speaker 3: less surprising to me, And I'm more shocked that they
- 21:18Speaker 3: opted not to air her season right away. I felt
- 21:22Speaker 3: like when we heard that filming was happening and wrapping
- 21:25Speaker 3: at the very end of twenty twenty five and wasn't
- 21:27Speaker 3: airing until March, I think a lot of us thought, well, WHOA,
- 21:31Speaker 3: what relationship is going to be together at that point
- 21:34Speaker 3: from this show? You know, especially when we know that
- 21:36Speaker 3: they are not allowed to see each other or canudle
- 21:38Speaker 3: in public, Like that's difficult for any relationship, But imagine
- 21:42Speaker 3: being on a TV show and having to hold all that.
- 21:45Speaker 3: So I think that the huge mistake was not airing
- 21:48Speaker 3: the season right away.
- 21:49Speaker 1: That was the only chance to have a clean ending,
- 21:52Speaker 1: is what you're saying, one hundred percent.
- 21:53Speaker 3: And it also the idle hands and just like I
- 22:00Speaker 3: just don't think that Taylor Frankie Paul was ever going
- 22:03Speaker 3: to be put in the box that the Bachelorette is
- 22:05Speaker 3: put in, right, It's.
- 22:07Speaker 4: Just not who she is.
- 22:09Speaker 3: And again, when you take somebody who's not in the franchise,
- 22:13Speaker 3: I'm going to refer to mel Owens for this same reason.
- 22:16Speaker 3: You take somebody that's not from the franchise and they
- 22:19Speaker 3: are not familiar with the world and they are going
- 22:22Speaker 3: to do things in their own way. I think that
- 22:26Speaker 3: mel Owens went into that podcast and didn't loop into
- 22:29Speaker 3: the PR from the show, which is what he's supposed
- 22:31Speaker 3: to do and follow the rules, and that's what ended
- 22:35Speaker 3: up happening. I think that the PR team thought that
- 22:38Speaker 3: that interview wasn't going to have legs and it was
- 22:40Speaker 3: going to go bye bye, and it did not. It
- 22:42Speaker 3: grew and grew and grew. I think we're experiencing a
- 22:45Speaker 3: similar situation on this side, but obviously much more grand
- 22:49Speaker 3: because it involves domestic violence and allegedly a child being present.
- 22:54Speaker 3: So I think that you can't predict what's going to happen.
- 23:00Speaker 3: Nobody's got a crystal ball, but I think that with
- 23:03Speaker 3: somebody like her, they should have been ready for nine
- 23:08Speaker 3: different kinds of curveballs. And I've worked on television shows
- 23:13Speaker 3: where I've had to deal with talent in personal relationships
- 23:18Speaker 3: that are volatile, and I've had to do daily check ins.
- 23:22Speaker 3: I've had to call numerous times. I've had to help
- 23:25Speaker 3: separate people and talk to them and bring them down
- 23:29Speaker 3: from getting aggressive. I have been in these kinds of
- 23:33Speaker 3: situations on television shows with people, and it is very
- 23:37Speaker 3: tricky to handle because at the end of the day,
- 23:40Speaker 3: we all want to make a television show, but also
- 23:42Speaker 3: we are human beings and we don't want to put
- 23:44Speaker 3: people at risk and do things that can go south
- 23:47Speaker 3: when you're not around, which kind of does freak me
- 23:50Speaker 3: out that, like, it's getting allegedly violent between these two
- 23:54Speaker 3: when there's not cameras around. This is a bad sign.
- 23:58Speaker 3: And I think as produced and as a network, you
- 24:01Speaker 3: do have to start to make some moral decisions. Do
- 24:05Speaker 3: you care more about making money or do you care
- 24:08Speaker 3: that this has signs that this relationship could go maybe
- 24:12Speaker 3: one step too far and somebody could get really, really hurt,
- 24:16Speaker 3: and then you're going to have that on your conscience.
- 24:19Speaker 3: So what I think should happen and don't know what's
- 24:23Speaker 3: going to happen, or I tell me what I think
- 24:27Speaker 3: should happen, is I think that Taylor Frankie Paul needs
- 24:30Speaker 3: to get in front of this and do a sit
- 24:32Speaker 3: down interview asap, and she needs to talk about the situation,
- 24:38Speaker 3: and she needs to be open and honest.
- 24:41Speaker 4: She needs to address what.
- 24:43Speaker 3: She had in the realm of this conversation and why
- 24:47Speaker 3: it went a specific way, and she needs to take accountability.
- 24:52Speaker 3: She then needs to check into some sort of rehab facility,
- 24:55Speaker 3: she needs to go to an anger management course, and
- 24:57Speaker 3: she actually needs to step away from cameras. This is
- 25:00Speaker 3: going to then allow the Secret Lives and Mormon Wives
- 25:03Speaker 3: to continue filming. They are going to then be able
- 25:05Speaker 3: to talk about what's happening, but she's not going to
- 25:08Speaker 3: be present for it. Dakota needs to be removed from
- 25:11Speaker 3: the show because he is only connected to Taylor, and
- 25:16Speaker 3: if Taylor is not filming, he has no need to
- 25:18Speaker 3: be there. So he will then be removed. And then
- 25:21Speaker 3: I think if Taylor comes back out of a rehab
- 25:25Speaker 3: facility and feels like she's actually made strides and changes,
- 25:29Speaker 3: then the women are it's up to them to welcome
- 25:31Speaker 3: her back into the cast. If they choose not to,
- 25:35Speaker 3: then she needs to go and do her own thing
- 25:37Speaker 3: for a little bit. But that's how I kind of
- 25:41Speaker 3: see it playing out. I will say, we do have
- 25:43Speaker 3: insider knowledge that Taylor has hired a crisis PR person,
- 25:47Speaker 3: which I feel like is a little too late. But again,
- 25:51Speaker 3: I think that she will be addressing this and making
- 25:54Speaker 3: some sort of comment or doing some sort of interview
- 25:57Speaker 3: prior to her season airing on Sunday, and.
- 26:00Speaker 1: I think that'll probably be with Alex Cooper.
- 26:02Speaker 3: You think Alex Cooper, I think somebody a little bit more.
- 26:05Speaker 1: Prestigious, somebody like on like ABC.
- 26:07Speaker 3: News, GMA or something, And I think a female reporter,
- 26:11Speaker 3: And I think a sit down interview, because Alex Cooper.
- 26:14Speaker 1: Is not She's too silicious herself.
- 26:17Speaker 3: Not only that she's just this is over her head,
- 26:20Speaker 3: she is also she is just not cut out interview
- 26:24Speaker 3: style wise to ask the kind of in depth questions
- 26:28Speaker 3: that needs to be done with sensitivity involving alleged domestic violence.
- 26:34Speaker 3: So this has to be done with a serious journalist
- 26:36Speaker 3: in my opinion.
- 26:37Speaker 1: Okay, well I would think so too. I was just like,
- 26:39Speaker 1: oh my god, or they should have tried to promote
- 26:41Speaker 1: another show while they're at it. No, no, okay, what
- 26:56Speaker 1: do you think that they do with this season? Like
- 26:59Speaker 1: you think that like she as the interview before this
- 27:01Speaker 1: season and that is just going to it's going to
- 27:03Speaker 1: be like going to just go on awkwardly, which I agree,
- 27:06Speaker 1: that's probably what's going to. I don't think they're going
- 27:08Speaker 1: to pull it. Didn't we get a report that they're
- 27:09Speaker 1: not going to pull it.
- 27:11Speaker 3: As of now, we have heard from sources that it
- 27:14Speaker 3: is not getting pulled. It is airing again. It's Tuesday.
- 27:18Speaker 3: When we're saying this, I will say that, right, we
- 27:22Speaker 3: don't have the mentell all taped, and we don't have
- 27:25Speaker 3: the finale tape, so that is their opportunity then to
- 27:29Speaker 3: you know, get all of the reaction and everything and
- 27:33Speaker 3: what's going on. I also want to point out that
- 27:36Speaker 3: I don't think that the reunion for season four of
- 27:39Speaker 3: Secret Lives and Mormon Wives has been filmed to my knowledge,
- 27:44Speaker 3: So that's another opportunity to kind of clear the air
- 27:48Speaker 3: have that conversation now again, if I were Taylor's crisis
- 27:52Speaker 3: PR person, I'd be making this interview prior to Sunday,
- 27:56Speaker 3: and then I'd literally be stepping away. I would step
- 27:59Speaker 3: away imediately to go to some sort of rehab facility
- 28:03Speaker 3: for anger management and you know, and working on that,
- 28:07Speaker 3: meaning no tweeting, no tiktoking, no any promotion of the
- 28:13Speaker 3: season as it starts to air, and if she's let's say,
- 28:17Speaker 3: gone away for thirty days, then she's back out before
- 28:21Speaker 3: the finale heirs or is taped.
- 28:25Speaker 1: Well, Heather, I'm just so glad to have you on
- 28:26Speaker 1: this podcast because you are so knowledgeable about these behind
- 28:30Speaker 1: the scenes things. I love hearing the feedback. It's so great. Yeah,
- 28:33Speaker 1: I wouldn't have no I would have no idea how
- 28:37Speaker 1: to handle this. I do feel like you've got a
- 28:39Speaker 1: great PR brain.
- 28:40Speaker 4: Well, I will say that.
- 28:43Speaker 3: We're all rooting for people like Taylor and Dakota to
- 28:48Speaker 3: get the help that they need. At the end of
- 28:50Speaker 3: the day, we're all consumers of television and we love
- 28:54Speaker 3: to watch TV, but we are human beings and I
- 28:58Speaker 3: think that we've been watching a slow moving car crash
- 29:00Speaker 3: for a little bit, and now we're just a little
- 29:03Speaker 3: too close to the action, and they need to step
- 29:08Speaker 3: in and they need to make some human decisions. And
- 29:11Speaker 3: the human decision is that these two people need help
- 29:13Speaker 3: and they need to be separated. And at the end
- 29:15Speaker 3: of the day, they're parents, and the children come first
- 29:20Speaker 3: and need to be in a safe environment. And I
- 29:23Speaker 3: think that this starts to really reflect poorly on production
- 29:26Speaker 3: and the network if they continue to put these Ballattle
- 29:28Speaker 3: people together for the sake of filming a television show.
- 29:32Speaker 1: Okay, so I think that they are I think that
- 29:35Speaker 1: they're going to see each other either way. I feel
- 29:38Speaker 1: like you think that too. I don't think they're being
- 29:40Speaker 1: put together because of reality show. I think that these
- 29:43Speaker 1: two have this crazy toxic relationship and because they share
- 29:47Speaker 1: a sun, they can't ever really not be in each
- 29:50Speaker 1: other's lives to certainly, of.
- 29:51Speaker 4: Course, but I think that it doesn't happen.
- 29:56Speaker 3: What we've seen, right with Taylor not involving her ex
- 30:00Speaker 3: husband in filming or her children from that previous relationship,
- 30:04Speaker 3: leads me to believe that she is capable of having
- 30:07Speaker 3: a healthy co parenting relationship. We have never heard her
- 30:10Speaker 3: ex husband say anything about her, and he was involved
- 30:14Speaker 3: in a frickin' swinging scandal with her. Okay, so we
- 30:18Speaker 3: have not heard him come out against her or them
- 30:21Speaker 3: seem to have something. Could they have something behind the scenes?
- 30:24Speaker 3: Obviously we don't know. He's not involved in the show,
- 30:27Speaker 3: but it leads me to believe that she's capable of that.
- 30:31Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I just don't think she's capable of that
- 30:33Speaker 1: with the code.
- 30:34Speaker 3: I think she could be if she wasn't constantly having
- 30:38Speaker 3: to be and do things on camera. That's the other
- 30:42Speaker 3: thing is like she's constantly having to be forced to
- 30:45Speaker 3: be around him, whereas I think like if they were
- 30:48Speaker 3: seeing each other and doing kid drop off or doing
- 30:51Speaker 3: things like that, I think she would be integrated less
- 30:54Speaker 3: into his life because also her cast members keep finding
- 30:58Speaker 3: out stuff about him and then telling her and that
- 31:02Speaker 3: if he wasn't involved in her circle, that would happen less.
- 31:06Speaker 3: And obviously, if anybody hasn't caught up season four, the
- 31:09Speaker 3: big drama is this thing happening with Shanayah, who happens
- 31:12Speaker 3: to be a friend of Taylor's that he starts hooking
- 31:15Speaker 3: up with and she loses it. She gets very upset
- 31:19Speaker 3: and Taylor's first reaction, unfortunately, was a thing I think
- 31:24Speaker 3: she needs help with, is she immediately goes to degrading
- 31:28Speaker 3: the woman in the situation, not degrading Dakota. It's really
- 31:33Speaker 3: really sad to watch. And we've also seen her this
- 31:37Speaker 3: season be really open about her birth father, who she
- 31:42Speaker 3: didn't have a relationship with, who has now passed on.
- 31:45Speaker 4: But he was an addict, he was.
- 31:47Speaker 3: Abusive, and it's really unfortunate that we're seeing this kind
- 31:50Speaker 3: of cycle repeat itself that her mom and her father
- 31:55Speaker 3: went through with her is now really rearing its head
- 31:59Speaker 3: and showing itself and her her and her relationship with Dakota.
- 32:02Speaker 3: So it's it's sad and I feel and I'm not
- 32:05Speaker 3: negating that violence is not the answer, and I'm not
- 32:09Speaker 3: condoning anything that either of them have allegedly done to
- 32:13Speaker 3: one another, but I think this is a huge cry
- 32:15Speaker 3: for help, and at this point, the network has a
- 32:18Speaker 3: responsibility to not continue to put them in an environment
- 32:26Speaker 3: where they're getting paid and they're getting paid to have conflict.
- 32:31Speaker 1: Yeah, so well put all right, Well, you're going to
- 32:35Speaker 1: be back with Ben later. If we have any updates.
- 32:39Speaker 4: I feel like we will feel like we I.
- 32:40Speaker 1: Feel we will alrighty well, thank you for all of
- 32:44Speaker 1: your insight and guys, you know, let us know on
- 32:47Speaker 1: our Instagram the comments and r dms about what you
- 32:50Speaker 1: think about this situation and like how it should be handled.
- 32:53Speaker 1: I mean, obviously the situation is awful, is awful, but yeah,
- 32:57Speaker 1: how you think that the network should handle it and
- 32:59Speaker 1: how the two of them should handle it? All right,
- 33:02Speaker 1: we love you so much. Until the next time, which
- 33:05Speaker 1: will be very soon. I've been Ashley, I've been Heather. Bye.
