- 0:00Speaker 1: Hello, and welcome to fugitive any I think that he
- 0:09Speaker 1: is getting to him a little bitter. It's getting to
- 0:14Speaker 1: me a little bit.
- 0:17Speaker 2: It's making me do strange things.
- 0:20Speaker 1: It's not so hello, welcome to let me boy. You
- 0:26Speaker 1: just let me boy to sleep. This is Whisper Wednesday.
- 0:31Speaker 1: It's still I don't know what time. It is, about
- 0:37Speaker 1: four o'clock two, but it's the full per. Please only
- 0:45Speaker 1: listen when you can safely close your eye. I've been
- 0:50Speaker 1: waiting all day to do this because there's a building
- 0:53Speaker 1: work going on opposite me in the flat opposite Norway.
- 1:00Speaker 1: It's not in all Way, but the flat when you
- 1:03Speaker 1: go out the front door the opposite door. In there,
- 1:10Speaker 1: he's having his bathroom redone and he's had his bath
- 1:13Speaker 1: taken out today. Now I can't read complain about the
- 1:21Speaker 1: noise because it's been pretty quiet. It's far enough away
- 1:26Speaker 1: to not really affect me too much. But the other
- 1:31Speaker 1: side of it is I need to keep Finny occupied
- 1:38Speaker 1: auditarily because if he has movement out of the front door,
- 1:49Speaker 1: he's got a bit of barking. So this is the
- 1:54Speaker 1: first moment of the whole day where there hasn't been
- 2:00Speaker 1: music or some kind of something that he can listen
- 2:08Speaker 1: to distract him apart from when we've been out. So
- 2:16Speaker 1: I'm not sure how he's going to react when he
- 2:19Speaker 1: because the bath is actually in the doorway, the one
- 2:23Speaker 1: they've removed, so when they drag that down the stairs,
- 2:30Speaker 1: I'm guessing Vinnie will give some type of response which
- 2:40Speaker 1: is understandable. Wow. Okay, So I'm guessing it's the artest
- 2:56Speaker 1: day of the year so far, and I probably could
- 2:59Speaker 1: do wearing shorts or wearing not much inside. But I
- 3:06Speaker 1: can't walk around in just me Lundy's because I've got
- 3:10Speaker 1: no curtains up. I washed my curtains at the weekend
- 3:18Speaker 1: and I just haven't bothered to put them back up yet.
- 3:23Speaker 1: Even though it will take me probably five minutes, I'll
- 3:26Speaker 1: put it off. Actually it might have been two weeks
- 3:30Speaker 1: ago I did it. So I want to say thank
- 3:34Speaker 1: you to Ben, and you know why. Ben knows why
- 3:41Speaker 1: as long as I thank you for your messages. And
- 3:50Speaker 1: I have made a few changes to day, not a
- 3:52Speaker 1: lot of changes, just a couple, only one that may
- 3:59Speaker 1: affect people. I'm not doing it to effect people. I'm
- 4:03Speaker 1: just doing it because basically, here's what I've done.
- 4:07Speaker 3: I have.
- 4:09Speaker 1: I've decided to get rid of the website. I do
- 4:13Speaker 1: have like a backup plan in place, a redirection, but
- 4:19Speaker 1: I'm waiting for it to kick in because it's not
- 4:21Speaker 1: working at the moment. So the website. I did have
- 4:26Speaker 1: another website's building as well, so that's gone also. So
- 4:30Speaker 1: the website's gone. I was getting so few visits. It
- 4:39Speaker 1: really wasn't financially viable. It's like sixty six dollars a
- 4:46Speaker 1: month for twenty twenty visitors maybe a day. It just wasn't. Yeah,
- 4:53Speaker 1: couldn't keep it going. So I've let that go for now.
- 5:00Speaker 1: I've tried to redirect the domain name, which is Jasonneuland
- 5:04Speaker 1: dot com, to my podcast page, which has all my
- 5:09Speaker 1: podcasts on or why actually yeah, so like the main podcast.
- 5:16Speaker 1: What I haven't done, which is really important, is I've
- 5:20Speaker 1: not deleted any podcasts. I'm not having some weird thing
- 5:24Speaker 1: going on. Nothing's being deleted part from the website. All
- 5:29Speaker 1: the podcasts are running just like normal, including the speaker ones,
- 5:35Speaker 1: the SoundCloud ones, and so wherever you listen online it's
- 5:41Speaker 1: still there. Nothing's changed. A couple of other things I've
- 5:48Speaker 1: done trying to reduce my outgoings because this financial changes
- 6:00Speaker 1: come in my way, hopefully good ones, because I've I
- 6:07Speaker 1: bought some lot of red tickets this week, but I
- 6:13Speaker 1: have got rid of a few things I don't need
- 6:16Speaker 1: to pay out for that perhaps I don't need anymore,
- 6:21Speaker 1: and they were making life easier, but I can kind
- 6:26Speaker 1: of do around around them. Because my PIP, which is
- 6:36Speaker 1: like a disability thing, that's up for a few I
- 6:40Speaker 1: think soon, and the government of changes chances I won't
- 6:47Speaker 1: get anything, so I can't even need to prepare for that. Also,
- 6:54Speaker 1: there's no longer any adverts on the webs on their
- 6:57Speaker 1: third podcasts, not that that was really wasn't that was
- 7:05Speaker 1: not Sometimes I didn't even cover the cost and running
- 7:09Speaker 1: all the different things, but it's okay, so that's all gone.
- 7:17Speaker 1: I got rid of Canvas, which was the editing software
- 7:23Speaker 1: that I use for editing the images. So Canvas now gone.
- 7:30Speaker 1: I was like thirteen pound a month. I've got rid
- 7:34Speaker 1: of the transcription because I was adding transcriptions to the
- 7:40Speaker 1: podcast and to the website and looking at maybe putting
- 7:46Speaker 1: a book together, but that's probably not going to happen
- 7:48Speaker 1: anytime soon. So I got rid of that transcription, which
- 7:53Speaker 1: was twenty twenty pound a month. I've kept chat chet
- 8:00Speaker 1: GPT because that's what I use for the images to
- 8:05Speaker 1: create the images. That Canva was the finalized all and
- 8:09Speaker 1: put it together. So yeah, I'll be using only chet GPT.
- 8:22Speaker 1: I'm trying to think of anything else that I've managed
- 8:26Speaker 1: to offload Canver transcription the website, but no, so the
- 8:50Speaker 1: podcast unpaign. I think fifty five pounds a month for
- 8:55Speaker 1: a spreaker, so that's that'st doable. I can manage that,
- 9:02Speaker 1: and there will come in time when they'll start to
- 9:06Speaker 1: charge me more if I keep increasing the amount of
- 9:10Speaker 1: recordings that are on there, which is going to happen naturally.
- 9:19Speaker 1: All my old recordings that on my website, you know
- 9:24Speaker 1: that let me Boy to Sleep one to fifty and
- 9:29Speaker 1: then fifty one, two hundred, et cetera. All those podcasts
- 9:35Speaker 1: of my spreaker page. So yeah, it's all all available.
- 9:45Speaker 4: You just need to just.
- 9:48Speaker 1: I posted the link to the spreaker page which has
- 9:54Speaker 1: all my podcasts. I posted on my Facebook, which is
- 10:00Speaker 1: Jason Newland's boring group, you know what, as a nuther things.
- 10:09Speaker 1: I spent a good couple of days really promoting the
- 10:18Speaker 1: Facebook group, like really going all out. I made a
- 10:22Speaker 1: podcast just specifically to try and get a few more members,
- 10:30Speaker 1: and that and some other stuff I did, And after
- 10:35Speaker 1: all that, I've got one. I've got two new members,
- 10:40Speaker 1: both the same person, and both two different Facebook pages
- 10:46Speaker 1: with one person the same name. Aren't wondering whether or
- 10:53Speaker 1: not Facebook is really the place where people MH gather anymore.
- 11:03Speaker 1: I don't know. Maybe because I'm not really on Twitter.
- 11:12Speaker 1: I don't know. I think people find my stuff when
- 11:18Speaker 1: they when they want to, when they I'm not hard
- 11:21Speaker 1: to find online. Just my name, Jason Newland easy to find.
- 11:29Speaker 1: I'm all over the place, not just mentally, but I'm
- 11:34Speaker 1: all you know, I'm on all the main podcast hosts,
- 11:41Speaker 1: so it's very easy to find me. Of course, I'm
- 11:44Speaker 1: also on sound Cloud. Someone's having a good old cough outside. Miss.
- 11:56Speaker 1: You could say it's a perfect day to day. It's
- 12:00Speaker 1: a blue sky, a little bit of a breeze, a
- 12:08Speaker 1: little bit, not a lot, a little bit because I
- 12:14Speaker 1: took any out put it about an hour ago and
- 12:19Speaker 1: we went to the park. At one point we were sitting.
- 12:27Speaker 1: When I was sitting, I was standing under the tree
- 12:32Speaker 1: where he was standing under the tree and against some
- 12:36Speaker 1: shade as I'm standing there with it. He had his
- 12:39Speaker 1: tongue out, and well, I had my tongue out as well.
- 12:45Speaker 1: And the breeze, it was glorious, Such a glorious breeze.
- 12:54Speaker 1: His neck is so weird. Okay, none of the other
- 12:59Speaker 1: people around was staring at him. He had his tongue out,
- 13:03Speaker 1: but why was he staring at me? So I came
- 13:11Speaker 1: home with some clothes on, and I had a shower
- 13:16Speaker 1: today before going out. I mean, not the first time
- 13:20Speaker 1: I've had a shower. This is the first time I've
- 13:24Speaker 1: had a shower today. So I had to hit about
- 13:29Speaker 1: or two o'clock before I went out. I was sweating
- 13:36Speaker 1: like I'd had a shower, dried myself off, like completely
- 13:43Speaker 1: dried myself off. Water was grown out my ears. I
- 13:49Speaker 1: couldn't believe it.
- 13:51Speaker 3: It was just.
- 13:56Speaker 1: There was a puddle in my shoes. There wasn't a
- 13:59Speaker 1: puzzle with my shoes. I swamp, but there wasn't a swamp.
- 14:02Speaker 1: Why am I saying that? I don't know. I never know,
- 14:09Speaker 1: But yeah, it was nice. It's a little it was
- 14:13Speaker 1: a little bit too hot for the little one, and
- 14:21Speaker 1: there he is making him tired. It's fast asleep even
- 14:25Speaker 1: though he was awake when I started this, he's completely exhausted.
- 14:33Speaker 1: I can always tell as well, because when I go
- 14:35Speaker 1: to get up out of the chair, you know when
- 14:39Speaker 1: he's sort of half asleep or just rested, you'll jump
- 14:43Speaker 1: up with me. But just now, before I started this,
- 14:47Speaker 1: I went over and got my to go and put
- 14:49Speaker 1: stuff away before coming back. He didn't want to move.
- 14:56Speaker 1: It was just lying there like really, it's like, what
- 15:00Speaker 1: do you want? You're just staring at me. Why have
- 15:04Speaker 1: you got gap? Now? I've been listening to some Richard
- 15:11Speaker 1: Bandla videos from probably the early eighties, late seventies, early eighties,
- 15:20Speaker 1: probably late early eighties, and Richard Bandlow is the co
- 15:26Speaker 1: creator of newer linguistic programming, normally known as NLP, but
- 15:35Speaker 1: now NLP is also known as is it natural language
- 15:47Speaker 1: programming or something? In computers? So NLP kind of has
- 15:54Speaker 1: more than one meaning now a little bit like CBT.
- 16:00Speaker 1: I actually remember, and this is totally true. I was
- 16:06Speaker 1: at college, and when I was here in university, we
- 16:09Speaker 1: had to learn about other therapies as well. Because I
- 16:13Speaker 1: was studying. Persons entered the counseling, which is what jerryan therapy.
- 16:19Speaker 1: Carl Rogers and all that stuff, but we also had
- 16:24Speaker 1: to look at other things. Gestolled psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, behaviorism, all
- 16:36Speaker 1: this stuff, and CBT got cognitive behavioral therapy. And also
- 16:45Speaker 1: my dad's and his wife was there, and they still said,
- 16:51Speaker 1: what you're doing is I've just been studying CBT, And
- 16:56Speaker 1: she said, what's that? I said, I'll show you. So
- 16:59Speaker 1: I got my now and when Google if nat natchy.
- 17:10Speaker 1: I think it was her laptop or I'm not sure
- 17:13Speaker 1: if I even had a phone that could do the
- 17:15Speaker 1: Internet back then. So I went to her laptop or
- 17:20Speaker 1: a computer. I said, I'll show you. So I put
- 17:24Speaker 1: CBT into Google. Now I didn't realize that there's more
- 17:32Speaker 1: than one CBT. There's at least three. Now I made
- 17:41Speaker 1: the mistake, and I did. There was a time when
- 17:44Speaker 1: you could just put I feel lucky, So you put
- 17:47Speaker 1: CBT and then collect I feel lucky and it will
- 17:51Speaker 1: just come up with the you know, our website to
- 17:55Speaker 1: death to or chosen. I don't know if any remembers that.
- 17:58Speaker 1: It's a long time ago. Well, I didn't realize there's
- 18:08Speaker 1: three different CBTs. There's one CBT, which is the motorbike test.
- 18:20Speaker 1: So in order to get to ride a motorbike or
- 18:23Speaker 1: motorcycle or maybe moped. I don't know. I think it's
- 18:26Speaker 1: a motorbike. It's called a CBT. I don't know what
- 18:30Speaker 1: stands for something training. And then there's another one CBT
- 18:39Speaker 1: that's the website that came up, and there was a
- 18:45Speaker 1: really explicit image apparently mine. My stepmm's like standing next
- 18:51Speaker 1: to me, and I'm pointing out that this is what
- 18:55Speaker 1: I'm doing, so I press I feel lucky, you know,
- 19:00Speaker 1: as I clicked that, and my dad calls me over.
- 19:03Speaker 1: He said, old, what do you want? Do you want
- 19:06Speaker 1: to do you want to beer? Or do you want
- 19:08Speaker 1: a whiskey? So I'm looking at him. I said, I
- 19:11Speaker 1: just have a beer, beer please, And my stepma says,
- 19:16Speaker 1: so that's what you're studying the university And I said yeah,
- 19:20Speaker 1: and I can't busy focusing on my dad and she
- 19:24Speaker 1: said really, I said yeah? Why? So I turned back
- 19:28Speaker 1: and it was the third one and I was this
- 19:33Speaker 1: big image and not something you particularly want to watch
- 19:41Speaker 1: online with your step parent. Cock and Ball told you
- 19:46Speaker 1: that's what CBD stood for. There, it's not even a joke.
- 19:49Speaker 1: This really happened. At least, I was very surprised because
- 19:58Speaker 1: I've never even heard of that. I mean, really, it's
- 20:02Speaker 1: like I don't normally talk stuff like this, but I'm
- 20:05Speaker 1: just saying this is real. It's like what CBT. I
- 20:11Speaker 1: was like, No, that's not what I'm learning at university
- 20:16Speaker 1: is cognitive behavioral therapy. She said, but you said CBT.
- 20:21Speaker 1: I said, yeah, that is CBT. This this also apparently
- 20:26Speaker 1: got Okay, CBT, fair enough, but it's not the CBT.
- 20:31Speaker 1: Why would Google? They wouldn't do that now, but why
- 20:35Speaker 1: back then? You know, demount stuff that they're just chucking
- 20:40Speaker 1: it without even like I don't want that. I want
- 20:44Speaker 1: something different. I'm not looking for that. Ah, it's yeah anyway,
- 20:56Speaker 1: So do you ever hear voices? Okay, I mean I'm
- 21:04Speaker 1: talking like real voices, and sometimes I don't know if
- 21:09Speaker 1: it's a person talking, or if it's a person on
- 21:15Speaker 1: a mobile phone talking like a speaker, or if it's
- 21:21Speaker 1: a radio or if it's a television. Do you ever
- 21:28Speaker 1: get that? And like it's like continuous talking, it's almost
- 21:32Speaker 1: like it's not there's no pauses. So maybe there's two
- 21:37Speaker 1: people talking, mind you, I've known people that just talk
- 21:44Speaker 1: and talk and talk. Yeah, my landlady used to be
- 21:49Speaker 1: like that. She used to talk to me. I'd be
- 21:54Speaker 1: in the toil and she'll still be talking to me. Seriously.
- 21:58Speaker 1: I'd actually be on the toill and she to still
- 22:01Speaker 1: be saying something. Whatever she was talking about, I was like,
- 22:08Speaker 1: why are you still talking? She used to like me
- 22:14Speaker 1: when I first moved in there, my landlady. This is
- 22:18Speaker 1: him back in nineteen ninety one, and then in nineteen
- 22:22Speaker 1: ninety three, kind of near the end of the year ish,
- 22:30Speaker 1: we had a new person move in, and I think
- 22:33Speaker 1: she fell in love with him, and he was always
- 22:37Speaker 1: around doing stuff for her and spending time with her,
- 22:42Speaker 1: and I mean she I think she invited me into
- 22:46Speaker 1: a living room twice. Once was when she told me
- 22:49Speaker 1: she was going to kick me out. Another time she
- 22:52Speaker 1: wanted me to watch an Italian opera. I preferred the
- 22:58Speaker 1: eviction one to be fair, and he was in there
- 23:04Speaker 1: all the time. I don't know if they cud on
- 23:08Speaker 1: it's not nothing to do me, but he really took
- 23:14Speaker 1: a dislike to me and started stirring it up. So
- 23:19Speaker 1: I ended up moving out. Oh the eviction that didn't happen.
- 23:23Speaker 1: She just said she had enough of me, and I said, oh, please,
- 23:27Speaker 1: I'll do anything. She said anything, and I sung that
- 23:33Speaker 1: song from that movie I would do anything, anything anything?
- 23:43Speaker 1: Was that Doctor Doolittle? I think, I don't know, I
- 23:51Speaker 1: don't feel I don't feel like proud of myself by it.
- 23:54Speaker 1: She moved down when she was on the toilet. It's true,
- 24:00Speaker 1: my back actually didn't. I just I ordered a taxi
- 24:14Speaker 1: and I think I packed everything up while she was
- 24:18Speaker 1: into black bags, brought them downstairs, and moved out. I
- 24:24Speaker 1: couldn't be there anymore because she wasn't being nice to me.
- 24:34Speaker 1: I think I kind of over over spent my welcome,
- 24:37Speaker 1: as it were. But even now, when I think back,
- 24:45Speaker 1: I wonder why did I just stay there for so long?
- 24:51Speaker 1: It was just a laziness.
- 24:55Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 24:57Speaker 1: I kind of liked the choir because I lived off
- 25:00Speaker 1: or if behind a graveyard, so the run of the
- 25:03Speaker 1: house was a cul de sac so there was no traffic,
- 25:08Speaker 1: and then behind the house was it wasn't just a graveyard.
- 25:12Speaker 1: There was an old graveyard, and not winning there was
- 25:16Speaker 1: a newer graveyard next to it. There was active. I
- 25:22Speaker 1: used to go for walks there, so it was nice
- 25:24Speaker 1: and peaceful. May puffs being weird? Do you think I
- 25:41Speaker 1: just remember my favorite thing in the world, really other
- 25:44Speaker 1: thing going to comedy clubs was going to the West
- 25:52Speaker 1: End buying a book, coming home reading the book, seeing
- 26:01Speaker 1: up in bed reading a book. That was That's why
- 26:05Speaker 1: I enjoyed doing and I kind of intending to get
- 26:11Speaker 1: back to that. I just need to get my eyes
- 26:14Speaker 1: tested so I can start reading again, because my eyesight
- 26:19Speaker 1: is a bit boo boo at the moment. That's another
- 26:27Speaker 1: another reason why I've kind of I've come to the
- 26:32Speaker 1: conclusion that or decision maybe I don't want to spend
- 26:42Speaker 1: long periods of time staring at the computer screen. It's
- 26:47Speaker 1: not good for my eyes. I think it's affecting my
- 26:51Speaker 1: eyes because I'm doing it for what twenty twenty five years, like,
- 26:59Speaker 1: you know, thousands of thousands and thousands and thousands of
- 27:04Speaker 1: hours since two thousand, tiny, I've been staring at the
- 27:10Speaker 1: computer screen sometimes ten thirteen, fourteen hours a day, so yeah,
- 27:19Speaker 1: thousands upon thousands of hours, and I don't think it's
- 27:23Speaker 1: been great for my optical nerves or whatever. And when
- 27:33Speaker 1: I take a break from looking at the computer, my
- 27:35Speaker 1: eyes do feel better. My eyes that was sounded like
- 27:41Speaker 1: my eyes my eyes feel more relaxed. I'm okay for
- 27:47Speaker 1: like an hour or so, that's about it. I think
- 27:52Speaker 1: an hour a day, you know, do the editing, and
- 27:59Speaker 1: then I blow them and it's done. In fact, I
- 28:06Speaker 1: don't even I mean, it's a little bit more staring
- 28:09Speaker 1: at the computer purse. I don't need to be online
- 28:14Speaker 1: the whole time looking at over the screen. And also,
- 28:22Speaker 1: I think with the way technology is working, especially with
- 28:29Speaker 1: things like chat GBT, I can ask it to make
- 28:35Speaker 1: new things, maybe use the chat a bit more, use
- 28:42Speaker 1: the microphone and verbally do requests as opposed to typing
- 28:48Speaker 1: in so that how's maybe make it a little bit easier,
- 28:53Speaker 1: a little bit more thorough, a bit more or less
- 28:58Speaker 1: scary computer screen. And it would be nice to get
- 29:08Speaker 1: back to reading and learning. But not for any kind
- 29:15Speaker 1: of reason other than just for fun. You know. I'm
- 29:25Speaker 1: interested in the hypnosis. I'm interested in chronic pain relief.
- 29:33Speaker 1: I'm interested in techniques to help people. Different things that
- 29:37Speaker 1: I can say, different ways of saying it that can
- 29:41Speaker 1: be useful to help people. So that's not changed. I
- 29:46Speaker 1: don't feel any less wanting to help people. If anything
- 29:50Speaker 1: more that that desire or that need is, I'd say
- 29:57Speaker 1: it's grown stronger as I've got a so but what
- 30:09Speaker 1: I like to do how I like to sort of
- 30:11Speaker 1: work things out is I like to learn things, but
- 30:16Speaker 1: then just let it all be in my brain and perculate,
- 30:24Speaker 1: perculate maybe and just mix together with all the other
- 30:28Speaker 1: stuff so that I can come up with ideas when
- 30:36Speaker 1: I'm talking that may be useful. And I suppose it's
- 30:46Speaker 1: about feeding my brain with helpful stuff and also things
- 30:55Speaker 1: that I'm interested in, because if I'm not interested in something,
- 31:00Speaker 1: I might as well just there's there's no point reading it.
- 31:05Speaker 1: There's not there's no point in watching something I'm not
- 31:07Speaker 1: interested in because I just switch off. I don't take
- 31:14Speaker 1: any notice. So I suppose I need to work within
- 31:20Speaker 1: my I suppose in some ways to limitations. But I
- 31:29Speaker 1: like to think of as geniuses.
- 31:32Speaker 2: Work within my genius.
- 31:39Speaker 3: M H.
- 31:46Speaker 1: I'm trying to think. What else has happened today? Not
- 31:51Speaker 1: a lot on yesterday. There wasn't a huge amount of
- 31:57Speaker 1: sound really from the neighbor, but there was a fair
- 32:06Speaker 1: bit of sound, but I think it was there was
- 32:10Speaker 1: other music and things like that from other neighbors. I
- 32:14Speaker 1: think it was blocking the noise. So I'm guessing that
- 32:18Speaker 1: people downstairs could hear it more than I could, which
- 32:22Speaker 1: does make it kind of makes sense because if they're
- 32:27Speaker 1: drilling and stuff and breaking concrete into the floor, that's
- 32:32Speaker 1: going to affect anyone that shares that ceiling, doesn't it.
- 32:37Speaker 1: I suppose. I know I share the floor, but I'm
- 32:42Speaker 1: quite far removed. I'm in a room. That's the first
- 32:47Speaker 1: I could get away from where he is, not not
- 32:52Speaker 1: to get away from him, just this is where my
- 32:54Speaker 1: living room is, and I've got no no walls that
- 33:02Speaker 1: really share. But his next door neighbor does, and downstairs
- 33:06Speaker 1: from him does. They both share the same kind of
- 33:11Speaker 1: like his bathroom. I'll wait a minute. Is worry in
- 33:19Speaker 1: his bedroom he shares with next door but the floor
- 33:25Speaker 1: is shared, isn't it really? I guess with next door
- 33:29Speaker 1: downstairs Ice Shoe the bathroom, Yeah, the bathroom is ceiling.
- 33:40Speaker 1: The downstairs would be his bathroom floor. So they can
- 33:46Speaker 1: feel it, or they can he hear it. But so far,
- 33:55Speaker 1: I've heard a bit of banging, a bit of stuff
- 33:58Speaker 1: like that. Was that sorry peep peep peep pee pew
- 34:03Speaker 1: pee pee pee peep pew peep. Now that sounds more
- 34:07Speaker 1: like a Space Invaders game or something pie Peu PuO
- 34:14Speaker 1: pew Buck Rogers Pu Pu Pu, Star Wars, even Peepy
- 34:20Speaker 1: pew pew pu. Perhaps that's why I should have done.
- 34:25Speaker 1: I should have done voices and sounds. I could have
- 34:30Speaker 1: been a I could have been voices, a voice for
- 34:34Speaker 1: like animation PuO pew an hour ardco with that one
- 34:41Speaker 1: sound though, but it's white could sound pu pew. If
- 34:51Speaker 1: I only ate all these things I could have done,
- 34:54Speaker 1: I do wonder. I think back to when I was fifteen.
- 34:59Speaker 1: I left school when I was even too young to
- 35:04Speaker 1: join the army. I was so young. It was just
- 35:11Speaker 1: the choices. I mean, some of the choices I couldn't
- 35:14Speaker 1: do till I was sixteen. But a lot of things
- 35:17Speaker 1: I could have just there wasn't There's the things I
- 35:25Speaker 1: wasn't able to do. I couldn't apply to join the
- 35:27Speaker 1: police force. I couldn't go to university. There's certain things
- 35:32Speaker 1: I wasn't allowed to do because of having no qualifications
- 35:37Speaker 1: and leaving school at so early age. Because I left
- 35:42Speaker 1: I think it was April nineteen eighty six, and I
- 35:48Speaker 1: wasn't sixteen till the end of August, so it was yeah,
- 35:54Speaker 1: four months or whatever till I was sixteen, and I
- 36:04Speaker 1: was suddenly earning sixty pounds a week working full time,
- 36:10Speaker 1: which of fifteen was a huge amount of money for me,
- 36:14Speaker 1: huge amount huge Honestly, I was buying clothes. I'd buy
- 36:23Speaker 1: a new clothes. I was walking around dressed nice for
- 36:28Speaker 1: the first time. Really that my dad didn't walk around
- 36:33Speaker 1: horribly dressed when I was a kid. But I'm just
- 36:35Speaker 1: saying for the first time, I could choose my own
- 36:40Speaker 1: Actually I kind of did choose my own clothes, really,
- 36:44Speaker 1: but most of the clothes was school uniform, wasn't it.
- 36:51Speaker 3: Not?
- 36:51Speaker 1: Not at home. I need to get myself some pajamas,
- 36:57Speaker 1: That's what I need to do. I realized that I'm
- 37:04Speaker 1: looking at my clothes lately and I'm just wearing the
- 37:07Speaker 1: same old stuff every day. So I've got these dark
- 37:12Speaker 1: brown tracksuit bottoms. Horace can horas he's having an argument
- 37:21Speaker 1: with his wife Doris. I got seven pairs of these
- 37:31Speaker 1: tracksuit bombs. So I wear a different pair every day.
- 37:35Speaker 1: And I'm pretty sure people see me, they've never seen
- 37:40Speaker 1: me wear anything else for years. They I don't know
- 37:44Speaker 1: if they think I'm just wearing the same thing every day,
- 37:48Speaker 1: like the same pair of tracksuit bombs, which I'm not.
- 37:54Speaker 1: There's different ones, they're just all the same. So I've
- 38:00Speaker 1: decided I'm gonna try and get myself some clothes, a
- 38:13Speaker 1: little bit of clothing every week. So I'm trying to.
- 38:20Speaker 1: Every time I get paid, I put ten percent away
- 38:24Speaker 1: saving and that's for veterinary bills for him. And I'm
- 38:34Speaker 1: also saving up so I can go and get my
- 38:36Speaker 1: eyes tested and pay for some decent glasses. The eye
- 38:42Speaker 1: test is free, but is anyway, that's what that ten
- 38:45Speaker 1: percent is for. It's basically is, now we got a
- 38:51Speaker 1: dog barking. Blame me. That dog hardly ever used to
- 38:56Speaker 1: bark before. Now it can't shut up part when it's
- 39:00Speaker 1: not barking, which most of the time, most of the
- 39:02Speaker 1: time it's quiet. So I don't know why I'm moaning.
- 39:08Speaker 1: I do know why I'm moaning because I love it.
- 39:11Speaker 1: I love moaning rare. It's my right as an English
- 39:16Speaker 1: person to moan, to complain about the weather, or just
- 39:21Speaker 1: talk about the weather, and to just moan. That's that's why.
- 39:25Speaker 1: That's my my human right, and to drink lots of tea.
- 39:35Speaker 1: So what was I going to say? Yeah, I'll try
- 39:42Speaker 1: and build away for future bills future things. I dentists
- 39:54Speaker 1: because I haven't got a dentist, so dental bills because
- 39:58Speaker 1: that was three hundred one attitude removed a couple of
- 40:02Speaker 1: years ago or a year and a half ago, so
- 40:09Speaker 1: and the other thing is for my eyes. So that's
- 40:13Speaker 1: those three things that I need to put that away for.
- 40:24Speaker 1: And now I'm going to spend a percentage of workouts,
- 40:29Speaker 1: a percentage more percentage of every time I get paid
- 40:34Speaker 1: and contribute that towards getting some clothes, whether it's a
- 40:39Speaker 1: pair of socks or a pair of pants, underpants, or
- 40:44Speaker 1: a T shirt wherever, just to start getting some I
- 40:50Speaker 1: don't know, half decent clothes because most of what I've
- 40:54Speaker 1: got is worn out and old and grotti. I mean,
- 41:02Speaker 1: because I've got a tendency of buying cheap stuff, like
- 41:05Speaker 1: cheap T shirts five for a pound. No maybe not,
- 41:10Speaker 1: but like you know, five T shirts for twenty quid.
- 41:18Speaker 1: They're fine to start with, but after a few washes,
- 41:22Speaker 1: they just they don't look great. So it's something I
- 41:31Speaker 1: want to try and do. Also, I need to look
- 41:36Speaker 1: at getting a winter coat. This is probably the best
- 41:40Speaker 1: time of the year to get a winter coat, really,
- 41:42Speaker 1: because I'll be cheaper because I don't have one. I
- 41:47Speaker 1: got this old thing my dad gave me probably about
- 41:51Speaker 1: ten years ago, probably longer actually, and it's something he
- 41:56Speaker 1: used to wear on the dogs that to me and
- 42:00Speaker 1: I just had as a backup. But then the two
- 42:04Speaker 1: winter coats that I did have got mislaid, so I
- 42:10Speaker 1: ended up with nothing. So I've been wearing that one
- 42:13Speaker 1: for the last couple of years, which is okay. I've
- 42:17Speaker 1: got a big jumper on underneath. But I think since
- 42:22Speaker 1: I lost a little bit away, I feel a cold
- 42:26Speaker 1: a little bit more than I used to.
- 42:31Speaker 5: Be.
- 42:31Speaker 1: So I used to be like a seal, you know,
- 42:35Speaker 1: in the winter. I just I had so much blubber.
- 42:38Speaker 1: I didn't really feel the cold at all. Now I
- 42:43Speaker 1: still don't feel it hugely, but a little bit more.
- 42:50Speaker 1: So I've got a little bit less fat on me.
- 42:56Speaker 1: I'm still heavy enough to be fair affected by the wind.
- 43:00Speaker 1: It's good. That is an advantage of not being really
- 43:07Speaker 1: really slim and light, because I used to get blown
- 43:12Speaker 1: around by the wind. I used to have to wear
- 43:15Speaker 1: heavy boots in the libraries serious day. I remember once
- 43:27Speaker 1: we went kiting, and my dad used to love kiting,
- 43:37Speaker 1: and we go to the top of the cliffs and
- 43:45Speaker 1: oh that was a windy day. As on a windy day,
- 43:51Speaker 1: and because we lived near the beach, windy days a
- 43:55Speaker 1: very generous. There's a lot, a lot of them, and
- 44:05Speaker 1: we'd be flying these kites and it was great. But
- 44:07Speaker 1: I would actually find myself being lifted up by the kite.
- 44:14Speaker 1: I mean this is when I was a kid, so
- 44:16Speaker 1: I probably onlyweight I know, four stone or five stone maybe,
- 44:24Speaker 1: so you know, it wouldn't take a lot for a
- 44:27Speaker 1: four stone to be lifted off off the ground. Yeah,
- 44:39Speaker 1: I don't know why I start thinking of that. That
- 44:43Speaker 1: was quite good times actually, and my dad had a
- 44:49Speaker 1: friend who owned and I don't know if there's an
- 44:53Speaker 1: ice cream place. I think it was. It was like
- 44:58Speaker 1: this restaurant. I think it was like a restaurant bar,
- 45:01Speaker 1: but I had an ice cream bar in it, so
- 45:06Speaker 1: I don't think based on where I was positioned, that
- 45:09Speaker 1: they would make enough money just selling ice cream. So
- 45:13Speaker 1: it was actually a venue. So we went there and
- 45:18Speaker 1: we used to get some ice cream. That was a
- 45:23Speaker 1: long story that didn't really lead anywhere today. I kind
- 45:28Speaker 1: of just said would go and have some ice cream.
- 45:34Speaker 1: I just remember it was quite a big room with
- 45:37Speaker 1: tables and stuff, and I think my dad used to
- 45:45Speaker 1: do work for the man, like electrical stuff, but it
- 45:51Speaker 1: was also friends with him. I think if I was
- 45:59Speaker 1: ever to have my time again and I had to
- 46:04Speaker 1: choose to say a trade, I don't really know. I
- 46:15Speaker 1: thought about this like, I don't think i'd want to
- 46:17Speaker 1: be an electrician. I don't think i'd want to be
- 46:25Speaker 1: a carpenter, just because I don't. I never really never
- 46:34Speaker 1: really I did would work at school, be never really
- 46:42Speaker 1: kind of yeah, I never found it interesting.
- 46:48Speaker 4: There was.
- 46:49Speaker 1: I did metal work as well, that was even less interesting.
- 46:54Speaker 1: I just working with metal wasn't really something that I
- 46:59Speaker 1: particularly looked forward to, No.
- 47:10Speaker 6: What.
- 47:10Speaker 1: Down in junior school, I used to like woodwork because
- 47:14Speaker 1: it was just part crafts and I'd be working with
- 47:18Speaker 1: balsa wood. So what I needed was a little knife,
- 47:22Speaker 1: a little I suppose he's a whittling I think it's called,
- 47:29Speaker 1: and a bit of sandpaper and I would make this
- 47:32Speaker 1: uh what are they called? Not yachts canoes, made these
- 47:40Speaker 1: little canoes and I used to quite enjoy doing it.
- 47:46Speaker 1: And cross stitchen as well. I loved across the stitching.
- 47:50Speaker 1: Oh yes, I don't know what it was. I think
- 47:58Speaker 1: I think it might be they gave me a focus,
- 48:05Speaker 1: something to really focus on. It took my mind away
- 48:09Speaker 1: from what I was thinking about. I guess maybe, and
- 48:17Speaker 1: I needed that. It was about nine and ten when
- 48:20Speaker 1: I did that, and I was I felt good. I
- 48:26Speaker 1: felt very relaxed when I did stop stotch, critchen stotch, critching,
- 48:33Speaker 1: gritch stotching, cross stitching, cross stitching. I tried it. It came
- 48:41Speaker 1: when I was in my twenties. I can't remember what happened.
- 48:51Speaker 1: I don't know why I didn't stick to it, because
- 48:56Speaker 1: otherwise I've been doing it now night.
- 49:00Speaker 4: Whatever.
- 49:00Speaker 1: If I did do it now, i'd probably use a tambourine. Okay,
- 49:05Speaker 1: it's not you know that round thing.
- 49:07Speaker 7: That you do.
- 49:10Speaker 1: You use or I think you can. Maybe you can
- 49:12Speaker 1: use like a not a door frame, like a frame
- 49:18Speaker 1: thing and you put the material on and you can
- 49:22Speaker 1: do it that way, just so you can kind of
- 49:24Speaker 1: see what you're doing. Mm hm. Tambourines. They're like tambourines.
- 49:33Speaker 1: They're around anyway. They didn't have like you can shape them.
- 49:40Speaker 1: You can join the orchestra or a choir. Because I
- 49:46Speaker 1: didn't make any noise, so as an accompaniment there weren't
- 49:56Speaker 1: much use but for stock stock critchen cross cross stitching.
- 50:03Speaker 1: Why is that such a hard word to say? Cross stitching?
- 50:09Speaker 1: Cross stitching? Blimey. I think it's because I haven't said
- 50:16Speaker 1: it for some while. It's not it's not a term
- 50:21Speaker 1: that I've used very often in the last fifty years
- 50:27Speaker 1: or forty five years. But I still love it. I
- 50:33Speaker 1: really did, really did. Just perhaps that's why I need
- 50:42Speaker 1: although To be honest, I find making podcasts have kind
- 50:51Speaker 1: of the same reaction for me because I'm focused, but
- 50:59Speaker 1: not on myself. Although I'm talking about myself, I'm not
- 51:06Speaker 1: focused on There's nothing going on in my mind other
- 51:13Speaker 1: than the next word. Well, maybe wonder why I said
- 51:18Speaker 1: the next word. That's a very focused, very relaxing thing today.
- 51:25Speaker 1: Making a recording for me because if it wasn't, then
- 51:33Speaker 1: I wouldn't do it. Yeah, I'm not gonna do something
- 51:41Speaker 1: I don't want to do. I've tried. That's my whole
- 51:48Speaker 1: life trying to do that. But as far as recordings,
- 51:52Speaker 1: I have forced myself to make recordings in the past
- 51:56Speaker 1: and it doesn't work, I'll do it with recording. Then
- 52:00Speaker 1: I'll have to trash it. Because I realized I've just
- 52:03Speaker 1: been a little bit too grumpy. So I only make
- 52:16Speaker 1: a recording when I want to, when i'm up through
- 52:22Speaker 1: it and i'm feeling I mean, sometimes I do one
- 52:26Speaker 1: when I'm tired. Sometimes I do one because I know
- 52:33Speaker 1: I need to do it, but it's not that I
- 52:36Speaker 1: don't want to. I might give myself a little nutch
- 52:43Speaker 1: maybe on a Q and a Friday when I'm thinking
- 52:47Speaker 1: I've left it late. I'm gonna have to do it.
- 52:50Speaker 1: If I don't do it now, I'll have to do
- 52:52Speaker 1: it in the morning. And I think, no, I'm doing now,
- 52:57Speaker 1: But it's never It's never forced. Wow, my stomach just
- 53:05Speaker 1: did a proper circle. That's why he had breakfast cere
- 53:11Speaker 1: yesterday because I haven't had any food, so I need
- 53:16Speaker 1: to since Monday. So I need to, like not food food,
- 53:21Speaker 1: you know. So I'm gonna make myself a couple of
- 53:26Speaker 1: toasted sandwiches once I've done this.
- 53:42Speaker 7: Yeah, I just needed to.
- 53:53Speaker 1: Check something I don't know in my freezer. I did
- 54:06Speaker 1: have some rolls which I can toast. I let them
- 54:10Speaker 1: defrost in the use the list roll bread rolls basically
- 54:17Speaker 1: that gea batter, geepetter, the geopatter or jupetter gee, petty
- 54:24Speaker 1: rolls and I'll cook something in the air f iron
- 54:29Speaker 1: eat them inside the rolls. I don't know if I've
- 54:37Speaker 1: got any left in the freezer, and if I have,
- 54:45Speaker 1: I'm gonna have to stick them in the air fryer
- 54:49Speaker 1: to defrost. Who But then I'm thinking, maybe what instead
- 54:59Speaker 1: is a just have some toast or something inside the
- 55:04Speaker 1: toast rather than chapatter rules because I do have at
- 55:10Speaker 1: least one loaf of bread in the freezer, so I
- 55:17Speaker 1: need to remember to eat it, because I know that
- 55:21Speaker 1: if I leave the bread in the freezer too long,
- 55:24Speaker 1: the bread just goes wrong.
- 55:26Speaker 8: It's not.
- 55:29Speaker 1: Weird as you'd think, Oh, you've put in a freezer
- 55:32Speaker 1: should last for ages and ages it's frozen. But if
- 55:38Speaker 1: it's left in there too long, the results of toasting
- 55:44Speaker 1: a piece of bread. A slice of bread that's been
- 55:47Speaker 1: in a freezer too too long is not nice. Fresh
- 55:59Speaker 1: toast is quite nice. Fresh bread toast is also yum yum,
- 56:04Speaker 1: yum yum yum. Depending, I think depends on what kind
- 56:09Speaker 1: of bread it is that was weird. There's a bread
- 56:18Speaker 1: called toasty that we can get right. It's too big
- 56:22Speaker 1: to fit in the toaster long wise, it's ridiculous. So
- 56:29Speaker 1: it's cord toasties. You'd think that meant it's for toasting,
- 56:35Speaker 1: unless I've got the smallest toaster in the world. The
- 56:39Speaker 1: dog in the guard who was barking again, hopefully there's
- 56:44Speaker 1: stock now that dog is exactly the same as Loki.
- 56:51Speaker 1: Same makes same. Everything really looks different, but kind of
- 56:56Speaker 1: the same type of dog, saint marking the same, sounds
- 57:02Speaker 1: the same. Wop wop wop, deep old voice. I don't
- 57:16Speaker 1: know if you can hear my stomach, cirkin, I'm going
- 57:20Speaker 1: to have to go and eat, eat, I tell you eat. Oh, yes,
- 57:24Speaker 1: I'm going to eat. Maybe it's collared some ice cream.
- 57:32Speaker 1: So when I when I went out with Finnie, I
- 57:35Speaker 1: came back had a cornetto. I gave him some some
- 57:39Speaker 1: of the ice cream. He kind of the cornetto has
- 57:42Speaker 1: got chocolate on the the crust or whatever, but this
- 57:46Speaker 1: was just a strawberry and vanilla. So I gave him
- 57:50Speaker 1: a bear of the ice cream and he lapped up
- 57:55Speaker 1: very quickly. Mm hm, oh, he's just waking up. His
- 58:02Speaker 1: head was hanging down. I was com backed to sleep again.
- 58:07Speaker 1: He just he has weird dreams. Never down woke him
- 58:12Speaker 1: up because literally making those strangest sounds. This was on
- 58:21Speaker 1: Monday night. I don't know what he was thinking, but
- 58:29Speaker 1: just spend time with the neighbor who used to have him.
- 58:33Speaker 1: He spent about an hour and a half with her
- 58:37Speaker 1: for the first time since the beginning of the year, really,
- 58:43Speaker 1: and I think it's it's had an emotional effect on
- 58:49Speaker 1: him because he adores her, absolutely adors her. He's known
- 58:56Speaker 1: as since he was born, since he was literally born.
- 59:00Speaker 1: She's one of the first people he ever saw in
- 59:04Speaker 1: his life. So he's got a big attachment. I'd say
- 59:11Speaker 1: that after two and a half years of living here
- 59:14Speaker 1: and sleeping in the bed with me and being with
- 59:18Speaker 1: me nearly all the time, he's probably got an attachment
- 59:23Speaker 1: to me as well. I just don't know. It seems
- 59:27Speaker 1: to be different with her. It's just I gave her
- 59:41Speaker 1: the lead and she walked off, and he went with her.
- 59:44Speaker 1: Didn't look back, didn't care I wasn't there. It kind
- 59:49Speaker 1: of I don't know. I feel that he should want
- 59:52Speaker 1: to stay with me in a way, but I think
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: he's happy. He's happy. He's a happy boy. He doesn't
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: get the stimulation they needs, I don't think, but he
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: does get out a few times a day. He sees
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: quite a few different dogs, lots of different people. He
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: says a loo to. It's an amazing amount of people
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: around him that know him by name. Hello, any any like?
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: I don't even know who after people are. Everyone seems to.
- 1:00:37Speaker 3: Know him less.
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: Sort of coke, get themselves of food, and he'd also
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: get delivery. I forgot about that. Yeah, I need to
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: give myself delivery because running out of milk. I'll just see.
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: I might have enough milk for tomorrow morning. I do know.
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: We'll see, We'll see what happens, because maybe I'll wait
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: until tomorrow get delivery tomorrow. I've definitely got enough milk
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: for tea, for a few cups of tea, but I
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: don't know if the breakfast cereal. And I do like
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: to have my I do like to have my ready
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: break in the morning, and it takes up nearly a
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: bowl of milk.
- 1:01:53Speaker 3: I done it.
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: Okay, Yeah, good boy? Did you have a lovely sleep?
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: You did, didn't you? Okay, you're right, good boy. He's
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: laid his head down the game. There's strangers. When he's
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: lying on the sofa with me next to me, I
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: can have my hand on him the whole time, stroking him,
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: massaging him just and he's fine with that. But if
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: we're in bed, doesn't does not he put my hand
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: on him? We had it like nowadays, showered at me.
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: I like you as a friend, like this weird thing
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: to say he needs a bath. Wow, you know, I
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: was literally gonna say, he doesn't even react to the
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: word bath. But as soon as I said he needs
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: a bath, he looked up at me and my stomach
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: air got again, which means it's dim thing's time. So
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: thank you for listening. Remember to be kind to yourself,
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: because you do deserve to be happy a be gentle
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: with yourself. You deserve to feel safe, lots.
- 1:03:57Speaker 5: Of love, relax in a more deep and meaningful way.
- 1:04:21Speaker 5: Maybe in a way that can not just allow you
- 1:04:26Speaker 5: to feel calmer now and throughout the time we spend
- 1:04:37Speaker 5: together here, not just relaxed at the end of the
- 1:04:45Speaker 5: recording when it's finished and you can enjoy that sense
- 1:04:50Speaker 5: of comfort and peace, But also I think it would
- 1:05:07Speaker 5: be nice to have those feelings of relaxation continue for
- 1:05:23Speaker 5: longer after the recording has ended, so that you can
- 1:05:36Speaker 5: still benefit from listening to my voice. Maybe in a
- 1:05:47Speaker 5: few hours time, perhaps tomorrow, and then by listening regularly,
- 1:06:03Speaker 5: especially if you find like some people do and myself
- 1:06:07Speaker 5: as well, sometimes I find one particular recording that really
- 1:06:14Speaker 5: resonates with me, and I just listen to it over
- 1:06:21Speaker 5: and over again every morning, every evening. There was this
- 1:06:34Speaker 5: recording from We're going back to about nineteen ninety nine.
- 1:06:41Speaker 5: It wasn't hypnosis, but it was a guided visualizations. It
- 1:06:47Speaker 5: kind of was hypnosis, really, and I managed to find
- 1:06:54Speaker 5: it again and it still has the same effect on me.
- 1:07:01Speaker 5: And part of it was the person's voice relaxed me.
- 1:07:14Speaker 5: She just felt so peaceful, and I'd look forward to
- 1:07:21Speaker 5: listening to her in the morning and in the evening.
- 1:07:33Speaker 5: And I knew before even pressing the play button that
- 1:07:43Speaker 5: since I've done that, pressed the play button. This is
- 1:07:47Speaker 5: in the days of CD players, pressed the play button,
- 1:08:02Speaker 5: if that it might have even been a tape tape recorder.
- 1:08:06Speaker 5: I'd lie down on the bed and then even without
- 1:08:15Speaker 5: necessarily listening to her words, because I had to memorized. Really,
- 1:08:33Speaker 5: it was as if my body knew exactly what to do,
- 1:08:43Speaker 5: and the muscles just almost went into automatic relaxation, and
- 1:09:05Speaker 5: I remember my mind would slow down now Now, I
- 1:09:19Speaker 5: was listening to this recording in the early days of
- 1:09:26Speaker 5: learning hypnosis, and long before I ever made any videos
- 1:09:37Speaker 5: or audio recordings myself, because I didn't start doing that
- 1:09:41Speaker 5: till two thousand and six. I knew, I knew how
- 1:09:58Speaker 5: helpful I found being able to just let go, to
- 1:10:11Speaker 5: have that trust in the person that I'm listening to,
- 1:10:24Speaker 5: knowing that it's going to be just as relaxing, if
- 1:10:33Speaker 5: not more so. Each time you hear my voice, you
- 1:10:42Speaker 5: may feel the same. Some people have been listening to
- 1:10:54Speaker 5: me for over a decade, maybe not solidly, obviously not
- 1:11:08Speaker 5: twenty four hours a day, but maybe people come back.
- 1:11:16Speaker 5: Some people maybe listen every day. That's something that I
- 1:11:31Speaker 5: do which you may not realize by listening, is when
- 1:11:47Speaker 5: I record these recordings. Now, for example, I also am
- 1:12:03Speaker 5: affected by the words that I say. So if I
- 1:12:17Speaker 5: set you focus on your feet, notice your feet relaxing,
- 1:12:28Speaker 5: I will be focusing on my feet. I will be
- 1:12:36Speaker 5: noticing my feet relaxing. If I said, focus on your hands,
- 1:12:56Speaker 5: and maybe notice the difference between each hand, Perhaps notice
- 1:13:06Speaker 5: the the air in the room, the temperature of the room,
- 1:13:14Speaker 5: on the backs of your hands. You may start to
- 1:13:25Speaker 5: notice what almost feels like a very light breeze, even
- 1:13:33Speaker 5: though there may not be any type of breeze at
- 1:13:37Speaker 5: all where you are right now. And as you become
- 1:13:51Speaker 5: aware of your hands, I'm also aware of how relaxed
- 1:14:06Speaker 5: my hands our feeling now and when it comes to
- 1:14:31Speaker 5: potentially drifting off to sleep, which may be the reason
- 1:14:37Speaker 5: you're listening, I also feel drowsy when I make these recordings.
- 1:14:58Speaker 5: I also know it is my mind drifting. In fact,
- 1:15:14Speaker 5: at times I've actually fallen asleep without even noticing, and
- 1:15:31Speaker 5: then I carry on talking. And it's only when I
- 1:15:42Speaker 5: listen back to do the editing I hear snoring and
- 1:15:51Speaker 5: I think, I don't remember snoring. I remember talking. This
- 1:16:01Speaker 5: snoring was a pick turned up. That's why I sound
- 1:16:09Speaker 5: like when I snaw. How I get really into the
- 1:16:19Speaker 5: whole experience. I don't know how you feel. How relaxed
- 1:16:37Speaker 5: do you feel in your feet, how relaxed you feel
- 1:16:47Speaker 5: in your hands. I have noticed more and more that
- 1:17:14Speaker 5: the more relaxed, deeper level of comfort you feel, the
- 1:17:30Speaker 5: easier you're breathing becomes. It's almost like that additional muscle relaxation.
- 1:17:55Speaker 5: So this allows you debree easier without necessarily focusing on
- 1:18:19Speaker 5: your breath, however, being able to notice the ease in
- 1:18:48Speaker 5: which you breathe so naturally, you breathe so very easily
- 1:19:16Speaker 5: and smoothly. Whenever I imagine my breathing improving, when I've
- 1:20:03Speaker 5: got my eyes closed, I tend to visualize a beautiful
- 1:20:19Speaker 5: field with trees and flowers producing all that life giving oxygen.
- 1:20:57Speaker 5: It feels nice too, if nothing else, just taking some
- 1:21:13Speaker 5: time away from everything, enjoying that feeling of peace, serenity
- 1:22:07Speaker 5: with a joyful heart. Time seems to just drip by
- 1:22:44Speaker 5: so very slowly, relax, so deeply, peaceful, completely unattached to
- 1:23:34Speaker 5: any thoughts whatsoever in this moment, completely free, noticing that
- 1:24:39Speaker 5: your mind has slowed down. Slowed down because nothing really
- 1:25:26Speaker 5: requires your attention. You can enjoy the physical sensations of
- 1:25:56Speaker 5: allowing the stress to drip out of your body, drippin
- 1:26:10Speaker 5: out of every part of your body and being released
- 1:26:39Speaker 5: from your brain in your mind, slowly but surely, the muscle,
- 1:27:20Speaker 5: thin legs relax ras so very deeply, reacts so deeply,
- 1:28:31Speaker 5: and the feelings, the pleasant feelings in your arms and
- 1:28:40Speaker 5: shoulders deepening each part of your body further and deeper
- 1:29:22Speaker 5: and deeper, noticing the feelings in the back of your neck,
- 1:30:08Speaker 5: feelings in your wrists, muscles, in front of your body.
- 1:30:57Speaker 5: I allsay, feeling peaceful deeply, there's a sense of peace
- 1:31:46Speaker 5: spreads through your fairy core. Even when you focus on
- 1:32:26Speaker 5: your mind, your mind becomes.
- 1:32:48Speaker 9: Beve and slowern deep, relaxing, so very slow.
- 1:34:09Speaker 5: Your stomach PA's for in your stomach, you're back. Notice
- 1:35:06Speaker 5: Notice how relaxed you'd now feel in the hole of
- 1:35:24Speaker 5: your back. Your spy from your brain all the way
- 1:35:57Speaker 5: down the middle of you're back, sending and receiving millions
- 1:36:09Speaker 5: of messages every day, deecomfort increasing deeply relapsed, your knees,
- 1:37:41Speaker 5: spreading those signals down a spine or cord into air,
- 1:37:50Speaker 5: every part of your body, your shins and your calf muscles.
- 1:38:37Speaker 5: We're outbows, Feelings of peace, entering, quality spreading through your body,
- 1:39:12Speaker 5: tips of your toes, to your eyes, your fingers, all
- 1:39:28Speaker 5: the way till your lower back. M the tinker, read
- 1:39:45Speaker 5: the tinker. Please, drifting mind just wandering away, happy to
- 1:40:55Speaker 5: let go go completely, let go, so tranquil, our whole
- 1:42:00Speaker 5: body enjoying a sense of listening. Go heven more, Pece,
- 1:44:21Speaker 5: enjoy the space, this space of peace and safety. So
- 1:45:03Speaker 5: firy fy letting go. Maybe we can just focus on
- 1:47:06Speaker 5: the different parts of your body, just to notice a
- 1:47:41Speaker 5: forehead and your eyes mutual so Louise, noticing the sense
- 1:48:43Speaker 5: of complete freedom, absolute freedom, b dresting, peace, for energy,
- 1:50:51Speaker 5: peace to breathe, so much easier.
- 1:51:01Speaker 10: Assass.
- 1:51:41Speaker 5: Yes, you may have or may not have noticed your
- 1:52:13Speaker 5: mind drifting peaceful m moly, even more deeply in the
- 1:53:15Speaker 5: direction of total blissful pace, blissful pace, to raft out
- 1:54:51Speaker 5: to pace. Come on, soup cam, let him go peace
- 1:56:02Speaker 5: with mind relaxed fourty sir, relax.
- 1:56:45Speaker 1: So relaxed.
- 1:57:11Speaker 5: Your body feels almost invisible, so very relaxed. I'm peaceful,
- 1:57:45Speaker 5: so pace like.
- 1:58:32Speaker 4: Moss.
- 1:58:52Speaker 5: And you could start to notice that you are feeling
- 1:58:59Speaker 5: more relaxed. Next, even though I've not purposely focused your
- 1:59:10Speaker 5: mind upon that sense of physical comfort that is growing
- 1:59:18Speaker 5: within you throughout your body, and your mind starts to
- 1:59:27Speaker 5: slow down. And that could be almost in recognition of
- 1:59:40Speaker 5: I guess my speech not being particularly fast, and things
- 1:59:52Speaker 5: just generally feel calmer. Just by by listening to my voice,
- 2:00:05Speaker 5: you give yourself an opportunity to take a break from
- 2:00:12Speaker 5: the day, take a break from your life. As it is,
- 2:00:22Speaker 5: and to give yourself a rest, giving yourself permission to
- 2:00:30Speaker 5: take some time off, and to allow your body to
- 2:00:35Speaker 5: relax and allow your mind to slow down, which in
- 2:00:45Speaker 5: turn releases the tension and he stresses that you had
- 2:00:53Speaker 5: in your body. It's almost as if the parts of
- 2:01:03Speaker 5: your body just open up, allowing the negativity out and
- 2:01:15Speaker 5: at the same time replacing that negativity with positive heathing energy,
- 2:01:26Speaker 5: which then fills your body up and your mind to
- 2:01:33Speaker 5: also starts to appreciate those feelings of increasing confidence, an
- 2:01:51Speaker 5: almost uplifting feeling, positive healing, an energy that spreads through
- 2:02:08Speaker 5: your body like a wave of comfort. And all this
- 2:02:19Speaker 5: comes from just allowing yourself a few minutes, maybe half
- 2:02:31Speaker 5: an hour, however long you want it to be, to
- 2:02:36Speaker 5: just rest and allow your mind and your body to
- 2:02:49Speaker 5: almost reset itself to the settings of comfort and relaxation, calmness,
- 2:03:10Speaker 5: which allows more room for feelings of pleasure and happiness
- 2:03:24Speaker 5: to move around your body and into your mind, almost
- 2:03:33Speaker 5: as if your mind and your body are sinking together,
- 2:03:42Speaker 5: almost mirroring each other with that growing positivity and calmness,
- 2:03:57Speaker 5: and it feels nice. It really does feel nice to
- 2:04:04Speaker 5: know that you are the one that has allowed yourself
- 2:04:14Speaker 5: to feel more comfort and to experience more of this
- 2:04:28Speaker 5: deep relaxation spreading throughout your body. And as I focus
- 2:04:44Speaker 5: on each part of your body, you can notice that
- 2:04:50Speaker 5: that part becomes even more more relaxed just by focusing
- 2:05:05Speaker 5: on it, becomes even more calm and comfortable just by focusing.
- 2:05:21Speaker 5: And as I move down your body, starting at your head,
- 2:05:30Speaker 5: the parts that you've already focused on will continue to
- 2:05:36Speaker 5: relax deeply and those parts that we've not yet focused
- 2:05:44Speaker 5: on or just automatically release any remain in tension in
- 2:05:56Speaker 5: anticipation of even more comfort about to come. Now, I'm
- 2:06:11Speaker 5: going to start by focusing on your forehead. Just being
- 2:06:17Speaker 5: aware of the feelings of your forehead and any background
- 2:06:26Speaker 5: sounds like mister Herbert the Pigeon can just allow you
- 2:06:33Speaker 5: to feel even more relaxed. Just means you're in the moment.
- 2:06:44Speaker 5: This isn't this isn't a sterile environment. This is the world.
- 2:06:53Speaker 5: I live in the countryside, so there's lots of nature
- 2:06:59Speaker 5: sounds around. So as you focus on your forehead, just
- 2:07:10Speaker 5: notice how it becomes even more relaxed as you focus
- 2:07:20Speaker 5: only on my voice and that part of your body.
- 2:07:30Speaker 5: Moving down to your eyes. Focusing on your eyes, noticing
- 2:07:41Speaker 5: how your eyelids feel so heavy yet so light at
- 2:07:50Speaker 5: the same time, and all the muscles around your eyes
- 2:07:57Speaker 5: relaxing completely. Moving your focus down to your mouth, your lips,
- 2:08:12Speaker 5: your tongue, your teeth, and your gumbs, the whole of
- 2:08:19Speaker 5: your mouth, relaxing, calm and loose as you focus now
- 2:08:34Speaker 5: on your jaw, not just the parts of your jaw
- 2:08:41Speaker 5: near your mouth, your chin, but all the way up
- 2:08:47Speaker 5: the size of your face to your ears, the hole
- 2:08:53Speaker 5: of your jaw, feeding more relaxed.
- 2:09:07Speaker 4: And calm.
- 2:09:16Speaker 5: Focusing on your neck, the front of your neck and
- 2:09:25Speaker 5: your throat relaxing, loose and calm. The side of your neck,
- 2:09:41Speaker 5: the right and left side of your neck, relax and
- 2:09:50Speaker 5: lease and calm. And now the back of your neck,
- 2:10:07Speaker 5: focusing on the back of your neck, letting go of
- 2:10:17Speaker 5: any tension that may have been there before, and enjoying
- 2:10:24Speaker 5: that sense of increasing comfort and release that you can
- 2:10:37Speaker 5: experience in the back of your neck. Moving down your
- 2:10:48Speaker 5: back and moving either side of your spine right from
- 2:10:56Speaker 5: the top of your back all the way down to
- 2:11:01Speaker 5: the bottom of your back, down to your lower back.
- 2:11:19Speaker 5: As you move up and down your spine, you can
- 2:11:26Speaker 5: feel the muscles either side of your spine relaxing even more.
- 2:11:42Speaker 5: And as those muscles relax, that sense of comfort starts
- 2:11:48Speaker 5: to spread outwards from your spine into both sides of
- 2:11:59Speaker 5: your back, the top of your back, the middle, and
- 2:12:06Speaker 5: your lower back. And as you scan gently and slowly
- 2:12:17Speaker 5: up and down your back, there's the muscles in the
- 2:12:22Speaker 5: top of your back relax and become looser. The muscles
- 2:12:32Speaker 5: in the middle of your back also seem to just
- 2:12:38Speaker 5: almost divide from each other, separating and almost melting. And
- 2:12:53Speaker 5: in your lower back it seems to be an extra
- 2:12:59Speaker 5: special feeling of comfort that spreads into your hips. Sit
- 2:13:15Speaker 5: down your lower back, into your hips, into the area
- 2:13:23Speaker 5: where your cosicks are, and into your buttocks, and all
- 2:13:32Speaker 5: those muscles that spread bring your lower back into your
- 2:13:41Speaker 5: hip area start to melt, start to really let go,
- 2:14:01Speaker 5: and you knowwhere about to focus on your shoulders. Your
- 2:14:08Speaker 5: back and your spine will continue to let go, continue
- 2:14:20Speaker 5: to relax so calmly, and if you focus on your shoulders,
- 2:14:36Speaker 5: you may notice that they're already feeling really loose, already
- 2:14:56Speaker 5: feeding calm and fear. Those muscles then move from your
- 2:15:19Speaker 5: neck into your shoulders feel so soft and gentle, so
- 2:15:39Speaker 5: smooth and calm, and the feeling in your shot was
- 2:16:07Speaker 5: seems to spread deep into your shoulders, that sense of relaxation,
- 2:16:17Speaker 5: not just traveling deeply into your muscles, but also relaxing
- 2:16:31Speaker 5: the bones and moving all away to underneath your arms,
- 2:16:44Speaker 5: relaxing that whole area between the tops of your shoulders
- 2:16:51Speaker 5: and underneath your arms. He then you feel so relaxed
- 2:17:09Speaker 5: and comfortable in your shoulders, which sends that deep healing
- 2:17:24Speaker 5: message into your arms. And you may feel almost as
- 2:17:42Speaker 5: if your arms are not even there, because they're so relaxed,
- 2:17:52Speaker 5: so deeply relaxed, so so calm.
- 2:18:22Speaker 4: So.
- 2:18:29Speaker 5: Pose not feeling spreading all the way down your arms
- 2:18:47Speaker 5: to your elbows, including your elbows circumforts spreads or away
- 2:19:16Speaker 5: into the rests of forearments and the rests so heavy
- 2:19:34Speaker 5: yet at the same time so light and gentle. Freak sick.
- 2:20:18Speaker 5: Now on your hands, my hands, so peaceful in your hands.
- 2:21:15Speaker 5: There's a sense of real peace. It just seems to
- 2:21:39Speaker 5: feel so familiar.
- 2:21:46Speaker 11: When your hands relax deeply.
- 2:22:17Speaker 8: The thing is.
- 2:22:50Speaker 5: You things, sadly a thing you tips maving your attention
- 2:23:57Speaker 5: to the front, to your body, so comfortable, move in
- 2:24:25Speaker 5: your focus your legs, why muscus in your thighs, your knees,
- 2:26:14Speaker 5: so relaxed, a calf mussels and just shins compasi four
- 2:28:51Speaker 5: the father you faat, sir, peaceful, so calm, ser peaceful,
- 2:29:19Speaker 5: so calm, su peaceful, so.
- 2:29:56Speaker 8: Calm, so.
- 2:30:02Speaker 5: Peace fall RelA same peace fall, so calm, loving that
- 2:30:34Speaker 5: deep relaxation, to spread your chest, in your stomach, so RelA,
- 2:30:54Speaker 5: letting go. Hmm if every thing so, I'm gonna start
- 2:31:12Speaker 5: counting down now from twenty down to one. You can
- 2:31:24Speaker 5: imagine in a way, it's like just walking down some
- 2:31:28Speaker 5: steps and each step or twenty steps, and each step
- 2:31:34Speaker 5: represents a level of comfort. Each step represents a deepening
- 2:31:49Speaker 5: of that comfort, and the furvies you walk down those steps,
- 2:32:00Speaker 5: the deeper and more relaxed you feel. So starting with
- 2:32:12Speaker 5: number twenty twenty nineteen, eighteen seventeen sixteen US US ten
- 2:36:44Speaker 5: fourteen four see too well.
- 2:39:51Speaker 6: F faaaaa.
- 2:42:07Speaker 5: Nine eight seven h.
- 2:45:00Speaker 12: A six.
- 2:47:03Speaker 5: Five four.
- 2:49:08Speaker 8: H one.
- 2:52:50Speaker 5: And now as you focus on your eyes, we're gonna
- 2:53:07Speaker 5: count down from ten down to one, focusing just on
- 2:53:19Speaker 5: your eyes, your eyelids, the muscles around your eyes, your
- 2:53:30Speaker 5: eye walls themselves, our whole area that makes up your
- 2:53:39Speaker 5: eye and as we count down from ten down to one,
- 2:53:58Speaker 5: whilst focus in your eyes, you'll become twice is relaxed
- 2:54:14Speaker 5: with each number counting down, and you may find the
- 2:54:27Speaker 5: all you want to do is just drift off to sleep.
- 2:54:37Speaker 5: And if that's what you want, then just allow yourself
- 2:54:43Speaker 5: to do that. Now, focusing on your eyes, I'm going
- 2:54:58Speaker 5: to begin count down from ten down to one.
- 2:55:08Speaker 8: Right now, ten nine eight.
- 2:56:26Speaker 12: Seven h.
- 2:57:33Speaker 8: H five.
- 3:00:27Speaker 5: Four three.
- 3:02:46Speaker 13: Two one.
- 3:04:21Speaker 5: So counted down from ten to one ten nine eight
- 3:04:41Speaker 5: seven six five four three two one. And maybe that
- 3:05:06Speaker 5: was a bit too quick in order to relax. Maybe
- 3:05:10Speaker 5: it's a bit too fast for you to notice the
- 3:05:15Speaker 5: calming of your body, maybe even a little bit of
- 3:05:22Speaker 5: pressure there, Like you're count it down from ten to one.
- 3:05:26Speaker 5: Would you expect me to do man, expect me to
- 3:05:30Speaker 5: stick go floppy just because you're counting down. If you
- 3:05:40Speaker 5: try it again, but this time, I go this lower.
- 3:05:46Speaker 5: This time, as you focus on the whole of your
- 3:05:51Speaker 5: body before we focus on your legs, just notice how
- 3:05:59Speaker 5: your body does start to feel more relaxed with every
- 3:06:13Speaker 5: number that I count down ten nine eight seven six
- 3:06:55Speaker 5: five four three two one. And just notice how how
- 3:08:04Speaker 5: you feel, generally, how your body feels. It's not necessarily
- 3:08:14Speaker 5: even about counting down from ten to one. It's that
- 3:08:25Speaker 5: space that you have, that space between being active physically
- 3:08:44Speaker 5: or mentally to just sitting or lying down, just being there,
- 3:08:55Speaker 5: not doing anything, not saying anything, not needing to think
- 3:09:00Speaker 5: about anything. So it opens up a space, you know,
- 3:09:06Speaker 5: a bit of a space, a gap. And the more
- 3:09:17Speaker 5: I camped down from ten to one, the bigger that
- 3:09:21Speaker 5: gap becomes. So there's that gap of calmness, of comfort, relaxation.
- 3:09:38Speaker 5: It's a nice feeling, and it moves those stresses or
- 3:09:50Speaker 5: discomforts physically or emotionally moves away. Allows you.
- 3:10:07Speaker 6: To just.
- 3:10:11Speaker 5: Slow down. Someone to count again from ten down to one,
- 3:10:18Speaker 5: and notice that gap widening, the gap. And as it widens,
- 3:10:28Speaker 5: it's almost like the thestress and attention falls into the
- 3:10:34Speaker 5: gap and gives you that distance, that space. Now nine eight, seven, six, five, four,
- 3:12:14Speaker 5: three two one. Now, how does your body feel.
- 3:13:07Speaker 4: Now?
- 3:13:20Speaker 5: Can you notice that? Do you feeling calmer, the feeling
- 3:13:35Speaker 5: more relaxed. As we now focus on your legs, just
- 3:14:02Speaker 5: your legs. We're just gonna start with focusing on your thighs.
- 3:14:39Speaker 5: Of course, it's not the most exciting thing to be doing,
- 3:14:44Speaker 5: because I'm sure like most of your body is not
- 3:14:50Speaker 5: not going on right now, Just focusing on the whole
- 3:15:03Speaker 5: of your thighs, the tops of your thighs, the sides
- 3:15:09Speaker 5: of your thighs, the bottoms of your thighs, your outer thighs,
- 3:15:16Speaker 5: and your inner thighs, basically the whole of your thigh
- 3:15:22Speaker 5: that leads into your hip and it goes down to
- 3:15:31Speaker 5: your knee joint. Now, this is a big area. It's
- 3:15:45Speaker 5: a very heavy area, it's very strong. Probably the strongest
- 3:15:51Speaker 5: muscles in your body are in your thighs. But I
- 3:16:04Speaker 5: don't think we perhaps give enough attention to our thighs.
- 3:16:19Speaker 5: Perhaps we don't acknowledge how important our thighs are to
- 3:16:29Speaker 5: our lives, how much they actually do for us all
- 3:16:50Speaker 5: through our lives. And it may seem and sound really weird,
- 3:17:01Speaker 5: but I think that all of our body parts, especially
- 3:17:09Speaker 5: our thighs, need some TLC, a bit of love shown,
- 3:17:18Speaker 5: a bit of acknowledgement, thank you, gratitude for what our
- 3:17:36Speaker 5: thighs do for us. And I know this may sound
- 3:17:46Speaker 5: a bit strange. Maybe you think, why am I sure
- 3:17:52Speaker 5: how I should be out in the garden hugging a
- 3:17:55Speaker 5: tree or something. Well, it's hard to set a microphone
- 3:18:03Speaker 5: up on a tree. That's why I'm doing this indoors.
- 3:18:06Speaker 5: Otherwise I would be outside hugging a tree. Now I
- 3:18:10Speaker 5: can't see the television from the tree. If you move
- 3:18:19Speaker 5: down to your knees gain such an important part. And
- 3:18:29Speaker 5: I think we don't necessarily I'll speak for myself here,
- 3:18:35Speaker 5: I don't necessarily appreciate all that my knees do for
- 3:18:41Speaker 5: me until I have a problem with my knee. It's
- 3:18:47Speaker 5: occasionally if I ever maybe i'll patch it, or it's
- 3:18:52Speaker 5: aching for some reason. It's then that I realize how
- 3:18:59Speaker 5: much it does. You know, the benefit of being able
- 3:19:02Speaker 5: to use my legs without any kind of physical discomfort
- 3:19:13Speaker 5: is a beautiful thing that's possibly not appreciated until it's
- 3:19:20Speaker 5: temporarily removed. You know that's comfort. But as you focus
- 3:19:30Speaker 5: on your knees, regardless of how your knees feel, you
- 3:19:38Speaker 5: can have that sense of gratitude and love to your
- 3:19:44Speaker 5: knees for all that they do for you. And you
- 3:19:56Speaker 5: can still have that attention on your thighs and maybe
- 3:20:00Speaker 5: notice how your thighs feel. Maybe you've noticed that they
- 3:20:08Speaker 5: are relaxing more deeply as you focus now on the
- 3:20:25Speaker 5: bottoms of your legs, your shins, and your calf muscles,
- 3:20:30Speaker 5: the bones between your knees and your feet incorporate, and
- 3:20:38Speaker 5: of course your ankles so important. Anyone that's had even
- 3:20:51Speaker 5: like the slightest sprain of an ankle knows how how
- 3:20:58Speaker 5: much we take our ankles for granted. And it's kind
- 3:21:08Speaker 5: of strange in a way when you think that. You know, logically,
- 3:21:14Speaker 5: our wrists are a lot thinner than the rest of
- 3:21:17Speaker 5: our arms, which is okay, it doesn't can't see any
- 3:21:22Speaker 5: problem with that because we're just picking stuff up. But
- 3:21:27Speaker 5: our ankles so much thinner than the rest of our legs,
- 3:21:39Speaker 5: and from a physics perspective or logical even it doesn't
- 3:21:44Speaker 5: really make sense that all this weight would ultimately be
- 3:21:51Speaker 5: resting on your ankles then leading to your feet, that
- 3:22:02Speaker 5: thin area, thin bone. Yeah, it does so much great work.
- 3:22:13Speaker 5: Supports us, supports our body for a lifetime, helps us
- 3:22:23Speaker 5: to balance, helps you to get around and be mobile.
- 3:22:39Speaker 5: And there's the calf muscles. Of course, when I was younger,
- 3:22:47Speaker 5: I couldn't see the point in calf muscles didn't seem
- 3:22:50Speaker 5: to do anything. Okay, If I walked around on tiptoes,
- 3:22:56Speaker 5: then my calf muscles get some work. Of course, that's
- 3:23:00Speaker 5: not true. The carved muscles are being used whenever we
- 3:23:05Speaker 5: use our legs and your shins there to protect your
- 3:23:18Speaker 5: lower legs, shaped in a way almost as a protector
- 3:23:28Speaker 5: for the bone, leading of course to your ankles and
- 3:23:43Speaker 5: your feet. But we're not going to focus on your feet.
- 3:23:50Speaker 5: We're just going to focus on the legs. I realize
- 3:23:56Speaker 5: that now that I've mentioned your feet, it probably you're
- 3:24:00Speaker 5: sitting on them anyway, So maybe I should focus on
- 3:24:03Speaker 5: your feet a little bit. You can have them in
- 3:24:09Speaker 5: your awareness the same as you have your thighs in
- 3:24:15Speaker 5: your awareness. Even though we haven't been focusing on your
- 3:24:19Speaker 5: thighs a few minutes, let me focusing on your ankles.
- 3:24:31Speaker 5: There's still that sensation of comfort in your thighs, and
- 3:24:46Speaker 5: this that movement of energy because the thighs hold lots
- 3:24:56Speaker 5: of different sensations. Of course, there's the muscles, the big
- 3:25:02Speaker 5: straw muscles that we have in our thighs, but the
- 3:25:14Speaker 5: skin on the outside of the thighs, as in the
- 3:25:20Speaker 5: outside of all of our body, can be very sensitive,
- 3:25:30Speaker 5: sensitive to the touch, sensitive to temperature, and inside your
- 3:25:43Speaker 5: thighs the bones, there's the muscle, there's the blood, vessels,
- 3:25:50Speaker 5: the arch trees, all this stuff that's inside your thighs.
- 3:26:01Speaker 5: And I guess sometimes it'd be nice if you could
- 3:26:04Speaker 5: actually put your fingers inside your thighs and a message,
- 3:26:12Speaker 5: so you can message on the outside, of course, but
- 3:26:15Speaker 5: to be able to get deep into the muscles, and
- 3:26:18Speaker 5: to be able to just message inside your thighs, message
- 3:26:24Speaker 5: in the bones of your leg massage in all the
- 3:26:32Speaker 5: veins and just gently healing your thighs, and you could
- 3:26:42Speaker 5: move down message and inside your knees, just message in
- 3:26:49Speaker 5: those bones, but with healing fingertips spreading that healing energy
- 3:26:58Speaker 5: deep into the choints of your knees. Of course, there's
- 3:27:07Speaker 5: the back of your your knee, you know, the inside
- 3:27:11Speaker 5: crease where your knee is. It's a very sensitive area,
- 3:27:20Speaker 5: very feels very nice when you stroke it. That might
- 3:27:24Speaker 5: be because it's an area that's not really touched very often.
- 3:27:31Speaker 5: It's almost like a hidden part that crease in your legs.
- 3:27:38Speaker 5: It's almost it's like a part that has a sensitivity,
- 3:27:45Speaker 5: which is a little bit different. Of course, it's protected
- 3:27:55Speaker 5: by your legs, so you can imagine putting your fingers
- 3:28:07Speaker 5: into that crease in your legs. Fold in between your legs,
- 3:28:17Speaker 5: you can just message with your fingertips. Imagine your fingertips
- 3:28:22Speaker 5: going inside, message in the muscle tissue. You can of
- 3:28:33Speaker 5: course field the bones of your knees heading through your fingertips,
- 3:28:47Speaker 5: and then as you go down to your calf muscles,
- 3:28:53Speaker 5: and that's the part I'd like to be able to
- 3:28:55Speaker 5: really put my fingertips deep inside like half muscles and
- 3:29:02Speaker 5: massage in every single tissue of that muscle, healing every part.
- 3:29:18Speaker 5: And then doing the same for my shins, massage in
- 3:29:24Speaker 5: and gently stroking the bones, gently stroking them, healing in
- 3:29:32Speaker 5: a loving way, because they deserve to be treated as
- 3:29:39Speaker 5: the precious bones that they are, because our legs are
- 3:29:43Speaker 5: so precious as in all the other parts of our body,
- 3:29:49Speaker 5: and more precious of any chure on the planet. When
- 3:30:03Speaker 5: you start to think about your legs in this way,
- 3:30:16Speaker 5: it can change your perspective. It might sound a bit
- 3:30:25Speaker 5: a bit silly to start with the idea of having
- 3:30:31Speaker 5: love for your legs, showing appreciation for your thighs, wanting
- 3:30:41Speaker 5: to be able to put your hands in your thighs,
- 3:30:47Speaker 5: massage the muscles and the bones, and to get your
- 3:30:53Speaker 5: fingers deep in there, releasing all tension, just to show
- 3:31:04Speaker 5: how much you care about your legs, how much you
- 3:31:11Speaker 5: care for what your legs do for you regularly, your knees,
- 3:31:20Speaker 5: your calves, your ankles, the strength of your ankles considering
- 3:31:33Speaker 5: how thin they are compared to the rest of your legs,
- 3:31:38Speaker 5: especially your thighs. Yeah, they're so strong, so flexible, absolutely
- 3:31:52Speaker 5: amazing things. Your ankles are truly a gift because of
- 3:32:04Speaker 5: what they do for you, supporting all that weight, regardless
- 3:32:15Speaker 5: of how what weight you are, even if you only
- 3:32:19Speaker 5: ate stone, there's still a lot of weight for these
- 3:32:25Speaker 5: little ankles. Now I'm a lot heavier than eight stone
- 3:32:33Speaker 5: double down, Yet my ankles support my body all the time,
- 3:32:46Speaker 5: although they do give off a sigh of relief when
- 3:32:49Speaker 5: I sit down, as in fact, my whole legs do.
- 3:32:57Speaker 5: My feet feel so go my toes clap, We're so happy.
- 3:33:24Speaker 5: Your legs really are amazing. And I know that talking
- 3:33:34Speaker 5: about talking about your legs is probably possibly among the
- 3:33:40Speaker 5: most most boring things you've ever heard anyone say. Possibly
- 3:33:49Speaker 5: you're boring or not. Everything I said is true. Your
- 3:33:56Speaker 5: legs are amazing. Your legs deserve not just respect, they
- 3:34:16Speaker 5: deserve to relax deeply. They deserve to take some time
- 3:34:29Speaker 5: out of the day to just let go completely.
- 3:34:52Speaker 8: Your legs.
- 3:34:59Speaker 5: Really can relax, and because the legs are so such
- 3:35:12Speaker 5: a most, you know, very important part of your body.
- 3:35:18Speaker 5: When you relax your legs, the rest of your body
- 3:35:21Speaker 5: also naturally follows in that journey of comfort. I can
- 3:35:40Speaker 5: feel it in my hips. My hips feel really loose,
- 3:35:48Speaker 5: and also my lower back as well. My lower back
- 3:35:53Speaker 5: really feels it feels stretched, even though I'm just sitting
- 3:35:58Speaker 5: in a chair and there's no stretching as far as
- 3:36:04Speaker 5: I'm aware that I'm doing. It's almost as if the
- 3:36:08Speaker 5: muscles are just relaxed so much that there is a
- 3:36:12Speaker 5: natural stretch as the tension has reduced a lot. And
- 3:36:37Speaker 5: I'm now going to count down from ten down to one,
- 3:36:44Speaker 5: and you can continue to feel wonderfully relaxed. Ten nine, eight, seven, six, five.
- 3:37:18Speaker 3: Four.
- 3:37:22Speaker 5: Three two one relax. So I'm just going to count
- 3:37:47Speaker 5: down from five down to one. And as a countdown,
- 3:37:53Speaker 5: if you just focus on the numbers, just the numbers
- 3:38:00Speaker 5: counting down, and notice how you feel.
- 3:38:08Speaker 8: In this moment.
- 3:38:10Speaker 5: As you hear the numbers counting down, Knowing that those
- 3:38:15Speaker 5: numbers counting down represent you feeling calmer, not just in
- 3:38:28Speaker 5: your body, but also relaxing your mind. Just notice how
- 3:38:37Speaker 5: you feel. There's nothing to do, there's nothing to say,
- 3:38:43Speaker 5: there's nothing to think about, starting with number five four
- 3:39:10Speaker 5: three two one. Now, as you notice the gradual letting
- 3:39:46Speaker 5: go the tension in your body, you may also begin
- 3:39:55Speaker 5: to notice and be aware of how you're mind is
- 3:40:02Speaker 5: starting to slow down. This is just a natural thing
- 3:40:11Speaker 5: that happens. It's not really a special procedure. It's just
- 3:40:18Speaker 5: natural because as your body relaxes, your mind also starts
- 3:40:24Speaker 5: to relax, and the more your mind relaxes, the more
- 3:40:29Speaker 5: your body relaxes. It's just a continuous circle of relaxation.
- 3:40:40Speaker 5: And is that calmness that comes from relative quietness. You know,
- 3:40:49Speaker 5: even even if there's background sounds either your side or mind,
- 3:40:56Speaker 5: it's still going to be quite calm. You know, you
- 3:41:02Speaker 5: haven't got the television on, there's no music in the
- 3:41:07Speaker 5: background unless you're listening to the recording with music. Of course,
- 3:41:15Speaker 5: you're very likely not going to be sitting in a
- 3:41:18Speaker 5: room with other people. Of course you might be, but
- 3:41:22Speaker 5: generally it's more ideal if you can do this on
- 3:41:25Speaker 5: your own, so no distractions and when you stop thinking
- 3:41:37Speaker 5: about stuff, relaxation automatically rises, a sense of comfort starts
- 3:41:54Speaker 5: to grow, and without trying to build it up into
- 3:42:03Speaker 5: something fantastical or something magical, this is just a natural process,
- 3:42:17Speaker 5: something that's easy to accomplish. In fact, it's almost the
- 3:42:28Speaker 5: sense of relaxing completely happens really when you put no
- 3:42:35Speaker 5: effort into it. It's not something that you can really force.
- 3:42:43Speaker 5: It's something that happens naturally. And part of the process
- 3:42:52Speaker 5: of this recording and others is simply two allow you
- 3:43:06Speaker 5: to take advantage of this space, this time, to just
- 3:43:21Speaker 5: let go, to just be here, to be in tune
- 3:43:32Speaker 5: with how you feel, yet with the intention of wanting
- 3:43:45Speaker 5: to relax deeply and maybe even to fall asleep, depending
- 3:43:57Speaker 5: on what it is that you wish for yourself in
- 3:44:03Speaker 5: this moment. As we know, relaxing is the majority of
- 3:44:20Speaker 5: the process of falling asleep. The actual falling asleep part
- 3:44:24Speaker 5: is a tiny bit at the end. The deeper relaxed
- 3:44:33Speaker 5: you become, the easier you find yourself drifting. You can
- 3:44:55Speaker 5: also if you choose stay focus on my voice and
- 3:45:05Speaker 5: really enjoy the process of gradually relaxing each muscle in
- 3:45:35Speaker 5: your body effortlessly and just observing the sensation of letting
- 3:46:02Speaker 5: go completely. And this time I'm going to count from
- 3:46:18Speaker 5: six down to one, and you can notice your mind
- 3:46:31Speaker 5: calming down more with each number that you hear me say, naturally,
- 3:46:45Speaker 5: feeling calm and slow and be peaceful. Six, five, four, three, two.
- 3:49:26Speaker 1: What.
- 3:49:48Speaker 5: Being aware, how you'd mind to slow right down, sinking
- 3:50:04Speaker 5: deeply into relaxation. And as you focus on your mind,
- 3:50:24Speaker 5: you may notice that there are some thoughts still there,
- 3:50:37Speaker 5: maybe some stubborn thoughts that for some reason perhaps need
- 3:50:46Speaker 5: your attention. That's what you can do is send love
- 3:51:02Speaker 5: to those thoughts. Sprinkle those thoughts.
- 3:51:13Speaker 8: With love.
- 3:51:15Speaker 5: I all petals from a flower, just sprinkle it over them,
- 3:51:21Speaker 5: petals filled with love towards those thoughts, to let those thoughts.
- 3:51:29Speaker 6: Know that.
- 3:51:31Speaker 5: You're not abandon in them. You just need them. You
- 3:51:37Speaker 5: require them to just calm down, slow down, quiet down.
- 3:51:52Speaker 8: For now.
- 3:52:01Speaker 5: So as you focus on those remaining thoughts, as we
- 3:52:06Speaker 5: count down this time from seven down to one with
- 3:52:11Speaker 5: each number, just imagine sprinkling those flower petals of love, kindness,
- 3:52:27Speaker 5: gratitude over those thoughts, which will allow them to just
- 3:52:40Speaker 5: melt away and relax deeply. With every number, those thoughts
- 3:52:55Speaker 5: will become more and more relaxed. Starting with number seven, six, five, four,
- 3:54:30Speaker 5: three two one leeding. Now, notice how relaxed your feeling
- 3:55:55Speaker 5: in your body. We're going to focus on your hands,
- 3:56:17Speaker 5: because the more relaxed your hands are, the more relaxed
- 3:56:23Speaker 5: your body and mind are. And there you focus on
- 3:56:44Speaker 5: your hands and your fingers. There's nothing needed to be done.
- 3:56:56Speaker 5: There's no clenching of fists or tam it's in the
- 3:57:00Speaker 5: fingers or anything like that. It's just noticing and focusing
- 3:57:14Speaker 5: on your hands, noticing how they feel. Because the more
- 3:57:42Speaker 5: relaxed do your hands feel, the calmer your mind feels,
- 3:57:53Speaker 5: and the more comfort you feel throughout your body. You
- 3:58:10Speaker 5: may have already noticed you mind is starting to dressed
- 3:58:55Speaker 5: fin just on your hands and fingers, allowing them to
- 3:59:13Speaker 5: experience a real deepening of that relaxation in your hands
- 3:59:25Speaker 5: and fingers, more and more relaxed. With each number.
- 3:59:51Speaker 8: From eight.
- 3:59:54Speaker 5: Down to one, you can almost feel that healing and
- 4:00:06Speaker 5: relaxing energy spreading into your hands and fingers, becoming.
- 4:00:22Speaker 14: Year row.
- 4:00:26Speaker 5: Relaxing. With each number.
- 4:00:34Speaker 8: You hear going down.
- 4:00:40Speaker 5: From eight down to one, drifting, drifting again, starting with.
- 4:01:04Speaker 8: Number eight.
- 4:01:49Speaker 5: Seven, six, five.
- 4:03:19Speaker 4: Four three.
- 4:04:59Speaker 5: Just be here now, nothing to think about, nothing to do,
- 4:05:10Speaker 5: nothing to say, and everything just feels calmer. And this
- 4:05:24Speaker 5: is your natural state of being. This is how you
- 4:05:32Speaker 5: just normally feel when you take away all of that
- 4:05:39Speaker 5: other stuff that we add, you know, things like stress
- 4:05:46Speaker 5: and worrying and overthinking, anxiety, tension, just generally thinking about stuff.
- 4:06:05Speaker 5: You take that away, which is what we do. What
- 4:06:09Speaker 5: we do now you're left with a real sense of
- 4:06:22Speaker 5: peacefulness which comes to you very quickly, because ultimately it's
- 4:06:35Speaker 5: just a feeling, a feeling of comfort. It's almost as
- 4:06:48Speaker 5: if you've gone inside yourself and you've found a special
- 4:06:52Speaker 5: place where everything is peaceful, a place where you can
- 4:07:06Speaker 5: feel relaxed and your natural sense of comfort, a place
- 4:07:17Speaker 5: where you can be you, where you can accept yourself
- 4:07:27Speaker 5: for who you are, the place where you're not trying
- 4:07:32Speaker 5: to please anybody else ever, a place where you can
- 4:07:44Speaker 5: actually not just love yourself, but in some ways more importantly,
- 4:07:53Speaker 5: you can like yourself appreciate who you are. That sense
- 4:08:11Speaker 5: of gratitude is in the air all around you. That's
- 4:08:24Speaker 5: also a place where you can actually feel the healing
- 4:08:33Speaker 5: energy soaking into your body, healing energy soaking into your body,
- 4:08:53Speaker 5: and that healing energy spreads through your veins, traveling to
- 4:09:02Speaker 5: each and every single part of your body, and you
- 4:09:15Speaker 5: start to realize that actually, that healing energy, it's not
- 4:09:22Speaker 5: just entered into your brain, it's become part of your brain,
- 4:09:34Speaker 5: and that spinal fluid is now mixed with healing energy,
- 4:09:46Speaker 5: not just allowing you to feel so much more relaxed
- 4:09:54Speaker 5: and healthy in this moment, but also you start to
- 4:10:07Speaker 5: realize that actually, what's happening now with that healing, relaxing
- 4:10:17Speaker 5: energy spreading through your body, it's actually changing your life.
- 4:10:30Speaker 5: It's actually changing the way you're going to feel not
- 4:10:35Speaker 5: just now, but tomorrow and the next day. As your
- 4:10:43Speaker 5: health improves, not just your physical health, but your mental health.
- 4:10:55Speaker 5: Things that used to bother you in the past, for
- 4:11:00Speaker 5: some reason, no longer have the effect that they used
- 4:11:06Speaker 5: to because something has changed deep within you. Maybe things
- 4:11:21Speaker 5: that used to cause you to feel anger no longer
- 4:11:31Speaker 5: have that power to control you the way they seem
- 4:11:41Speaker 5: to be able to before. As you realize that you
- 4:11:50Speaker 5: are the one who decides what affects you, you're the
- 4:12:02Speaker 5: one who decides to feel relaxed and calm when you
- 4:12:13Speaker 5: choose to enjoy noticing these natural developments of healing, continuing
- 4:12:32Speaker 5: to grow and improve your life day by day, including
- 4:12:46Speaker 5: of course your ability to relax so much easier and sleeping.
- 4:13:04Speaker 5: It's the most natural thing in the world to you,
- 4:13:14Speaker 5: because falling asleep is something that you've done so many
- 4:13:21Speaker 5: times in your life, and you know that you were born,
- 4:13:31Speaker 5: as we all were, with the ability to fall asleep naturally.
- 4:13:41Speaker 5: You were born with that ability to just drift off
- 4:13:53Speaker 5: into a deep, healing sleep. Even when we're kids, sometimes
- 4:14:06Speaker 5: we'll fall asleep when we don't even want to try
- 4:14:10Speaker 5: and tell us stay awake. Maybe it's a birthday in
- 4:14:15Speaker 5: the morning, or it's Christmas or holiday or something we
- 4:14:19Speaker 5: look forward to. We don't want to go to sleep.
- 4:14:24Speaker 5: But the more we want to stay awake, the more
- 4:14:29Speaker 5: we just start to drift. And the more you fight drifting,
- 4:14:38Speaker 5: the more you try to stop yourself and drift in
- 4:14:40Speaker 5: a safe the deeper and stronger that drifting becomes. Because
- 4:14:54Speaker 5: we're born not just with the need to relax deeply
- 4:15:01Speaker 5: and to naturally fall asleep, but it's our birthright, it's
- 4:15:11Speaker 5: part of our DNA, and sometimes as we get older
- 4:15:21Speaker 5: in life, perhaps at times we have forgotten that relaxing
- 4:15:34Speaker 5: completely is not only a wonderfully pleasant experience, it's also
- 4:15:49Speaker 5: really easy. It's very very easy to let go, because
- 4:16:08Speaker 5: that's all it is. It's just deciding to let go.
- 4:16:23Speaker 5: And when you press the play button on my recordings,
- 4:16:31Speaker 5: you have given permission for my voice to relax you.
- 4:16:42Speaker 5: When you press that play button, you have given me
- 4:16:45Speaker 5: permission for my words to affect you in a positive,
- 4:17:00Speaker 5: only a positive way, opening up your mind to useful
- 4:17:21Speaker 5: and healing suggestions that can have such an amazing effect
- 4:17:40Speaker 5: on how you feel right now, as well as those
- 4:17:52Speaker 5: changes that continue long after the recording ends, Those changes
- 4:18:02Speaker 5: within you to continue to flourish and grow, transforming your
- 4:18:16Speaker 5: life in a positive, beautiful way, allowing you to move
- 4:18:30Speaker 5: forward in your life in the direction that you choose
- 4:18:37Speaker 5: for yourself. And this feeling, this feeling that you can
- 4:18:53Speaker 5: experience of safety, comfort, calmness, just feels so nice. It's
- 4:19:18Speaker 5: such a healthy place to be, and that positivity grows
- 4:19:33Speaker 5: within you each and every day. Moving forward, you're going
- 4:19:51Speaker 5: to find that you're more relaxed physically and in your
- 4:20:02Speaker 5: mind is more relaxed. And it's not that you're thinking slower,
- 4:20:14Speaker 5: it's just that your mind will be less clogged up
- 4:20:19Speaker 5: with unnecessary negativity because from now on, your mind rejects negativity.
- 4:20:36Speaker 5: From now on, you're going to start noticing when negativity arises,
- 4:20:48Speaker 5: and you can just say stop, stop, and then negativity
- 4:21:02Speaker 5: will turn around and leave you alone. Stop and that
- 4:21:18Speaker 5: negativity will disappear. And as you notice that you feel
- 4:21:36Speaker 5: way more relaxed than you probably expected. You can now
- 4:21:51Speaker 5: congratulate yourself because you're the person that has done this.
- 4:21:59Speaker 5: You are the one that has opened your mind up
- 4:22:05Speaker 5: to the simple facts. You can feel more relaxed in
- 4:22:14Speaker 5: your body and in your mind. You've opened your mind
- 4:22:24Speaker 5: up to the birthright of being able to just fall
- 4:22:32Speaker 5: asleep easily when you choose. And that's a nice feeling.
- 4:22:48Speaker 5: Don't you think it feels nice? Doesn't it? To feel calm?
- 4:23:00Speaker 5: All that healing energy is spreading through your body and
- 4:23:04Speaker 5: your mind to spend time a special place where negativity
- 4:23:22Speaker 5: can no longer enter. Negativity is banned. It's bad, it's
- 4:23:35Speaker 5: not allowed Entryue doesn't it doesn't. This doesn't deserve to
- 4:23:42Speaker 5: be here, It doesn't belong here. Negativity has no place
- 4:23:51Speaker 5: in your life, which makes room feel more comfort, more heathing,
- 4:24:10Speaker 5: more relaxation, more peace. It feels nice, doesn't it? Just
- 4:24:40Speaker 5: the let go with everything, I'm gonna care out down
- 4:25:00Speaker 5: now from twenty down to one, you can continue to relax.
- 4:25:11Speaker 5: If you choose, you can drift to sleep. With every
- 4:25:23Speaker 5: number you hear me say, you can feel twice as relaxed,
- 4:25:38Speaker 5: or if you choose, you can feel twice to sleep
- 4:25:49Speaker 5: now twenty nineteen, eighteen, seventeen, sixteen, fifteen, fourteen, thirteen to eleven, ten, nine, eight, seven, six.
- 4:28:00Speaker 12: H five.
- 4:28:10Speaker 5: Oh, this is your time to just take a break,
- 4:28:53Speaker 5: your time to relax, to allow your mind to slow down,
- 4:29:13Speaker 5: to give yourself permission to take a break from everything.
- 4:29:32Speaker 5: And you you're the only person that can make that decision.
- 4:29:39Speaker 5: You're the only person that can actually tell your mind
- 4:29:47Speaker 5: to just relax, to just take some time off so
- 4:30:11Speaker 5: that you can focus on your body, getting in touch
- 4:30:16Speaker 5: with how you feel physically, and in the process of
- 4:30:34Speaker 5: this body scan where you focus on different parts of
- 4:30:38Speaker 5: your body, those parts that you focus on and observe,
- 4:30:52Speaker 5: even though you're not purposely requesting those parts of your
- 4:31:01Speaker 5: body to relax, it's kind of expected. You expect when
- 4:31:10Speaker 5: you listen to my voice to feel more relaxed naturally,
- 4:31:23Speaker 5: because when you're listening to me, your attention is focused
- 4:31:33Speaker 5: on my words, and as my words guide you to
- 4:31:44Speaker 5: focus on those parts of your body, your focus increases,
- 4:32:04Speaker 5: which actually calms your mind. And when your mind calms down,
- 4:32:25Speaker 5: your body relaxes. And when your body calms down, your
- 4:32:47Speaker 5: mind relaxes. And even though who have not really started
- 4:33:04Speaker 5: to focus on your body, you can already feel that
- 4:33:16Speaker 5: healing energy spreading through your body, pushing out stress and tension,
- 4:33:36Speaker 5: healing all the parts of your body, including your skin,
- 4:33:44Speaker 5: your bones, your blood, all of your organs inside your body,
- 4:33:52Speaker 5: all of the muscles, all of the fat, all of everything,
- 4:34:01Speaker 5: every hair on your body is filled with that healing energy.
- 4:34:15Speaker 5: And when your brain fills with that healing energy, the
- 4:34:31Speaker 5: feeling of comfort and relaxation increases, deeply increases in a
- 4:34:56Speaker 5: way that.
- 4:35:00Speaker 8: Your mind.
- 4:35:04Speaker 5: Starts to feel perhaps a bit drowsy because it's not needed,
- 4:35:21Speaker 5: and it may start to drift if that's what's needed.
- 4:35:40Speaker 5: So if you're listening to this and what you need
- 4:35:45Speaker 5: is deep relaxation, that's what you get.
- 4:35:50Speaker 12: If what you need is.
- 4:35:54Speaker 5: To fall asleep naturally and easily as your mind and drifts,
- 4:36:03Speaker 5: that's also what will happen because by pressing that play
- 4:36:17Speaker 5: button on the podcast and listening to me, you give
- 4:36:23Speaker 5: permission for your body and your mind. In fact, you
- 4:36:35Speaker 5: give the command to your body and your mind to
- 4:36:40Speaker 5: relax deeply and to drift off to sleep, if that's
- 4:36:53Speaker 5: what you want.
- 4:36:58Speaker 4: Or need.
- 4:37:06Speaker 5: And as I focus on the different parts of your body,
- 4:37:17Speaker 5: you may start to just drift. And then you come
- 4:37:26Speaker 5: back again and you hear me talking, and I'm focusing
- 4:37:31Speaker 5: on a different parts of your body, and you may
- 4:37:42Speaker 5: find yourself drifting if you don't realize you're drifting until
- 4:37:51Speaker 5: you stop drifting and you're alert again to my voice,
- 4:37:59Speaker 5: focusing on a different part of your body starts to
- 4:38:05Speaker 5: relax even deeper, because that drifting is basically you already
- 4:38:18Speaker 5: in the sleep zone. And the more you drift, the
- 4:38:28Speaker 5: longer you drift, and the longer you drift, eventually that
- 4:38:38Speaker 5: drifting continues into sleep, and that's the last you remember
- 4:38:50Speaker 5: until you wake up in your own time. When you
- 4:38:59Speaker 5: experience it's the right amount of sleep fear, because when
- 4:39:07Speaker 5: you do and if you do fall asleep, it's extremely pleasant,
- 4:39:19Speaker 5: so relaxing, so deep, healing sleep. I'm going it feels
- 4:39:40Speaker 5: so nice to relax into your own body and mind
- 4:39:52Speaker 5: as you feel that healing energy is spreading through you,
- 4:40:00Speaker 5: relaxing news so deeply, relaxing news, so so deeply. We
- 4:40:22Speaker 5: start to focus on your eyes, moving down to your jaw,
- 4:40:47Speaker 5: down to your neck, your shoulders, ums, hand, vegus, you chest, stomach,
- 4:41:43Speaker 5: your back, your spine, you hips, your legs, your feet,
- 4:42:27Speaker 5: your toes, and that feedingeatings, spreading and grin inside your body,
- 4:42:58Speaker 5: feeling you up. Now let's focus again on parts of
- 4:43:10Speaker 5: your body. Focus in this time on your forehead. Now
- 4:43:24Speaker 5: on your mouth, your lips, your tongue, the whole of
- 4:43:33Speaker 5: your mouth. Focus in on your fingers. Maybe you could
- 4:43:57Speaker 5: move your fingers a little bits. You can focus on
- 4:44:01Speaker 5: each one individually, both hands, and even though if you
- 4:44:15Speaker 5: focus on both of your hands now they almost seem
- 4:44:21Speaker 5: to just melt into one. Where is your right hand,
- 4:44:29Speaker 5: start in your left hand end, almost as if just
- 4:44:39Speaker 5: mix together. Now focusing on your knees, just noticing how
- 4:44:56Speaker 5: your knees fell. Now focusing on your elbows, focusing on
- 4:45:20Speaker 5: both of your elbows, just observing the feeling of your elbows.
- 4:46:00Speaker 5: Our focusing absurving the back of your neck, feeding that
- 4:46:17Speaker 5: energy in the back of your neck, absurving your ankles,
- 4:47:07Speaker 5: being aware of physical sensations in don't think.
- 4:47:15Speaker 15: Gousni sin.
- 4:48:19Speaker 5: Now your toes on both of your feet, being aware
- 4:48:37Speaker 5: how you TOAs yeah right now, notice sin, how you
- 4:49:31Speaker 5: entire body feels, noticing you mind feels now, letting go,
- 4:50:28Speaker 5: letting go, letting go everything, lett him go, letting go,
- 4:51:09Speaker 5: letting go. Huh everything.
- 4:51:27Speaker 4: Everything.
- 4:51:34Speaker 5: I'm going to start now, and I'd like you just,
- 4:51:38Speaker 5: first of all, just to see yourself lying down on
- 4:51:44Speaker 5: that message table, lying on your front. Your head is supported,
- 4:51:50Speaker 5: your arms are supported, and you feel comfortable and breathing
- 4:51:59Speaker 5: this really easy, and you feel you feel confident in
- 4:52:09Speaker 5: how you look as well. So there's none of that
- 4:52:11Speaker 5: issue of body problems or shyness because I'm a professional
- 4:52:19Speaker 5: and this is a therapy session, so none of that
- 4:52:26Speaker 5: stuff matters whatsoever. This is about you. This is about
- 4:52:36Speaker 5: how you feel and how you can enjoy that sense
- 4:52:44Speaker 5: of comfort and relaxation that comes from letting go and
- 4:52:51Speaker 5: allowing my hands, my fingers to relax you by a
- 4:52:59Speaker 5: message your body. So I want to start off just
- 4:53:08Speaker 5: by placing my hands on the back of your head,
- 4:53:14Speaker 5: just gently, just so you can feel what my hands
- 4:53:19Speaker 5: feel like really on you, so you can maybe feel
- 4:53:26Speaker 5: the warmth of my hands on the back of your head.
- 4:53:32Speaker 5: With my hands to the side of your head, not pressing,
- 4:53:36Speaker 5: but just holding there very gently, maybe over your ears,
- 4:53:43Speaker 5: and a little bit on your face, just so you
- 4:53:46Speaker 5: can feel my hands so you can become accustomed to them.
- 4:54:02Speaker 5: And now put my hands on the back of your
- 4:54:04Speaker 5: head again and gently let them slide down onto the
- 4:54:12Speaker 5: back of your neck. You can feel my hands gently
- 4:54:29Speaker 5: stroking the back of your neck to start with, just
- 4:54:36Speaker 5: so you can get used to the feeling of my
- 4:54:40Speaker 5: hands on your skin, get accustomed to realize that you're
- 4:54:48Speaker 5: safe and it's all good, it's all fine. And I'm
- 4:54:58Speaker 5: going to start gently messaging the muscles in the back
- 4:55:03Speaker 5: of your neck with both hands. Now, this is a
- 4:55:19Speaker 5: very trusting situation, really, because our necks are so fragile
- 4:55:27Speaker 5: and to have someone have their hands around your neck
- 4:55:31Speaker 5: in that way can sometimes be problematic for people, which
- 4:55:37Speaker 5: is why massages are quite good, because it allows you
- 4:55:41Speaker 5: to relax and to get in touch with trust, to
- 4:55:55Speaker 5: feel peaceful and calm. And there's a massage the sides
- 4:56:08Speaker 5: of your neck gently moving from the bottom of your
- 4:56:16Speaker 5: neck it would be sort of near where your shoulders start,
- 4:56:20Speaker 5: I guess, all the way up to your jaw, your ears,
- 4:56:28Speaker 5: kind of area that side of your neck. Of course,
- 4:56:33Speaker 5: it's a lot longer than the front of your neck.
- 4:56:49Speaker 5: And then massage in the back of your neck, especially
- 4:56:56Speaker 5: that area where perhaps we hold tension and and there's
- 4:57:04Speaker 5: that area's message. You can actually feel a sense of
- 4:57:09Speaker 5: release in the back of your neck and maybe you
- 4:57:17Speaker 5: can breathe it out as well. Notice how it feels.
- 4:57:23Speaker 5: Notice how you feel. Then moving down to that area
- 4:57:37Speaker 5: between your neck and your shoulders, that muscle area, starting
- 4:57:44Speaker 5: to message that area on both sides. I mean, this
- 4:57:51Speaker 5: would be the area that a lot of people would
- 4:57:54Speaker 5: message if they were going to give you like a
- 4:57:57Speaker 5: shoulder message. And that's not technically the shoulders, but it's
- 4:58:03Speaker 5: all the muscles that lead to the shoulders from the
- 4:58:07Speaker 5: neck and the game that can hold tension and stress.
- 4:58:15Speaker 5: And when massaged sometimes a nice deep message is useful,
- 4:58:23Speaker 5: and you decide how deep that message is, and just
- 4:58:38Speaker 5: allow my knuckles just to dig in to get to
- 4:58:45Speaker 5: those muscles and to really relaxed all the time, being
- 4:58:56Speaker 5: firm yet gentle with you and just stroking down the
- 4:59:13Speaker 5: area to your actual shoulders, moving to the muscles of
- 4:59:22Speaker 5: your shoulders and maybe initially just pulling up the shoulders
- 4:59:33Speaker 5: a little bit of the table, just to give you
- 4:59:36Speaker 5: a little bit of a stretch, but very gently, and
- 4:59:47Speaker 5: you've got the muscles at the front of your shoulders
- 4:59:50Speaker 5: the sides.
- 4:59:51Speaker 4: Of the back.
- 5:00:00Speaker 5: Again, this is a part that can really take quite
- 5:00:04Speaker 5: a bit of pressure, quite a bit of needing if
- 5:00:12Speaker 5: if you wish to really release the tension to really
- 5:00:20Speaker 5: get into those muscles, and you can let your fingers
- 5:00:27Speaker 5: in there. They can feel really nice. Sometimes it's just
- 5:00:33Speaker 5: being stroked gently or being massaged quite strongly. It can
- 5:00:44Speaker 5: all be beneficial to the realaxation of the muscles in
- 5:00:54Speaker 5: your shoulders. Now you move down your arms. We do
- 5:01:13Speaker 5: one arm at a time, starting with your right arm. Well,
- 5:01:24Speaker 5: I the is I just lift your arm up, just
- 5:01:28Speaker 5: hold it to the side of you that way still
- 5:01:34Speaker 5: be attached, and I just message the tops of your
- 5:01:40Speaker 5: arms all the way down to your forearms into your wrists,
- 5:02:08Speaker 5: gently massaging that part. The softer part, which is the
- 5:02:21Speaker 5: under part of the arm, which leads to the crease
- 5:02:27Speaker 5: in your elbow. The inside it's much more sensitive skin.
- 5:02:43Speaker 5: Sometimes just having that stroked. I feel really nice, pleasurable
- 5:02:53Speaker 5: and relaxing. Now moving down to your right hand, just
- 5:03:13Speaker 5: hold in your hand in both of my hands, just
- 5:03:25Speaker 5: pressing gently on the back of your hand and stretching
- 5:03:31Speaker 5: your fingers ever slightly at the same time pressing down
- 5:03:42Speaker 5: and massaging each finger, and then starting to massage the
- 5:03:56Speaker 5: palms of the hand. Just turning the hand gently, stretching
- 5:04:08Speaker 5: it gently, and actually having your handheld can really be
- 5:04:20Speaker 5: an emotional experience sometimes even if it is a stranger.
- 5:04:28Speaker 5: So when you don't know very well, like a massage
- 5:04:32Speaker 5: person or a therapist, maybe because it's intimate and it
- 5:04:45Speaker 5: can feel nice, you can feel safe. And as I
- 5:04:58Speaker 5: put that right arm back down where it was, we
- 5:05:07Speaker 5: did the same with your left arm, exactly the same.
- 5:05:18Speaker 5: Massage in the muscles your arm all the way down.
- 5:05:24Speaker 5: Do you arrest, stroking the inside of your arm, just
- 5:05:37Speaker 5: being gentle or as firm as you require, and then
- 5:05:50Speaker 5: massage in your left hand, wretching the fingers gently, massaging
- 5:06:07Speaker 5: the palm of your left hand. You feel so so relaxing,
- 5:06:34Speaker 5: so comforting, and I just rest your left arm back down.
- 5:06:59Speaker 5: That's start to massage your back. The biggest part of
- 5:07:06Speaker 5: your body, starting at the top, starting again where we
- 5:07:17Speaker 5: already have been, the area at the top in between
- 5:07:21Speaker 5: his shoulders, near your neck. Going back the message in
- 5:07:28Speaker 5: that area again, but this time moving downwards, taking a
- 5:07:40Speaker 5: downward stroke to the middle of your back, working from
- 5:07:48Speaker 5: the outside inwards. It's a massage in the your back,
- 5:07:56Speaker 5: but the the outsides of your back parts where your
- 5:08:08Speaker 5: arms with maybe rest against almost the part that connects
- 5:08:21Speaker 5: your front to your back, and just messaging down firmly
- 5:08:38Speaker 5: but gently as firm as you want, moving down and
- 5:08:47Speaker 5: moving across a little bit, and moving all the way
- 5:08:49Speaker 5: down again, being very gentle yet firm as you choose.
- 5:09:03Speaker 5: Eventually you get to the spine. We can message the
- 5:09:08Speaker 5: muscles and either side of your spine from the top
- 5:09:13Speaker 5: of your neck all the way down to your lower back.
- 5:09:25Speaker 5: We can do that a few times. Sometimes people use
- 5:09:34Speaker 5: the knuckle or the two fingers and just go your
- 5:09:40Speaker 5: side of the spine, almost just push down, go all
- 5:09:46Speaker 5: the way down to the bottom of the spine, each
- 5:09:50Speaker 5: time releasing tension and opening up the body, stretching your
- 5:10:00Speaker 5: body so that you feel more relaxed but at the
- 5:10:07Speaker 5: same time rejuvenated. And now I'm going to move to
- 5:10:24Speaker 5: one side, to your right side, and from the bottom
- 5:10:32Speaker 5: of your ribs to your pelvis. I'm going to massage
- 5:10:39Speaker 5: that area of your back. I'll stretch over the other
- 5:10:44Speaker 5: side and i will pull the muscles gently and massage
- 5:10:50Speaker 5: and push from one end that side or right to
- 5:10:54Speaker 5: my side. It's in the middle of fact, that's where
- 5:10:59Speaker 5: you is massaging that sign of your spine the opposite
- 5:11:07Speaker 5: side to where I'm standing. It's almost like kneading bread.
- 5:11:15Speaker 5: There's that big area which is firm yet lots there
- 5:11:21Speaker 5: to message. Potentially one of the most important places to
- 5:11:31Speaker 5: actually have a message because you really feel it. You
- 5:11:39Speaker 5: really feel the release and the pleasure of having your
- 5:11:44Speaker 5: lower back massaged. It releases so much from your body
- 5:11:53Speaker 5: that's not useful, starting a healing process which will continue
- 5:12:02Speaker 5: long after this recording is over. The message in this
- 5:12:14Speaker 5: part of your body not only feels really good for you,
- 5:12:20Speaker 5: it's actually fun to do because it is, as I said,
- 5:12:24Speaker 5: like kneading bread. It's a part that you can really
- 5:12:30Speaker 5: get hold of and really massage deeply.
- 5:12:36Speaker 16: If that's your choice, then I'm going to move over
- 5:12:47Speaker 16: to the other side of your body and do the same.
- 5:12:53Speaker 5: With the opposite part of your lawer back, kneeding and
- 5:13:01Speaker 5: messaging from your sides or way to the middle of
- 5:13:10Speaker 5: your back where your spine is pressing and kneading, firm
- 5:13:24Speaker 5: and gentle at the same time. It feels so releasing
- 5:13:33Speaker 5: this mixture of pleasure, comfort, release, calmness, relaxation or mixed together.
- 5:13:49Speaker 5: Plus there's that feeling from your stomach as it's being stretched.
- 5:13:56Speaker 5: Even though you're in your stomach now you can feel
- 5:13:59Speaker 5: it and stretched because that whole area is connected to
- 5:14:03Speaker 5: your stomach. Now we're going to move or move further
- 5:14:15Speaker 5: up to your top of your body and I we
- 5:14:20Speaker 5: do the same this time, starting with your upper back,
- 5:14:28Speaker 5: put my hands forward over and messing massage in that
- 5:14:34Speaker 5: area up to your spine, from the side of your
- 5:14:40Speaker 5: body up to your spine. So some of that message area,
- 5:14:46Speaker 5: the muscle tissue or whatever fatty tissue even will be
- 5:14:53Speaker 5: possibly from your chest because or connected the chest and
- 5:14:58Speaker 5: the back connect together. I'm going to be massaging and
- 5:15:05Speaker 5: just pulling some of that skin from your side up
- 5:15:12Speaker 5: and massaging that area of your upper back all the
- 5:15:20Speaker 5: way to your spine. And then I'll move down a
- 5:15:27Speaker 5: bit and I'll continue with the middle of your back
- 5:15:30Speaker 5: doing exactly the same thing as gentle or as deep
- 5:15:39Speaker 5: as you choose. Now, I'll move or the other side
- 5:15:51Speaker 5: again and do the exact same thing with the top
- 5:15:56Speaker 5: of your back on the other side, from pretty much
- 5:16:05Speaker 5: underneath your arm area really to your spine, and then
- 5:16:19Speaker 5: continuing that all the way down including your lower your
- 5:16:26Speaker 5: middle of your back. Now I'm gonna go to your thighs,
- 5:16:44Speaker 5: the backs of your thighs and the sides of your thighs,
- 5:16:54Speaker 5: starting with your right leg, and massage in the back
- 5:17:03Speaker 5: and the sides of your thighs gently and firmly. There's
- 5:17:12Speaker 5: a lot of muscles there. It's an area that can
- 5:17:15Speaker 5: be very tense at times and maybe needs a little
- 5:17:20Speaker 5: bit more pressure than the rest of the body. That's
- 5:17:23Speaker 5: up to you. You can gently stroke the back of
- 5:17:34Speaker 5: your legs where you know, opposite your knee joint or
- 5:17:39Speaker 5: underneath your knee joint, very sensitive, gentle area. And then
- 5:17:52Speaker 5: working down to your calf muscles, massage in your car
- 5:18:00Speaker 5: off muscles thoroughly and deeply, if you choose, using both
- 5:18:09Speaker 5: hands and fingers, sticking deep to your ankles, in the
- 5:18:28Speaker 5: back of your back of your ankles, just gently message
- 5:18:35Speaker 5: in that area, maybe lifting the leg and stretching out
- 5:18:46Speaker 5: a little bit. Moving to the right foot, massage in
- 5:19:12Speaker 5: the bottom of your feet and the sides of your
- 5:19:18Speaker 5: feet gently but firm enough so they don't tickle, and
- 5:19:35Speaker 5: just allow the pleasure that you get from having your
- 5:19:41Speaker 5: feet message to just overtake you. As I continue to
- 5:19:50Speaker 5: message your feet, the bottoms of your feet, the sides
- 5:19:59Speaker 5: you're arches, your heel. You can put a lot pressure
- 5:20:06Speaker 5: into your heel and it feels amazing, Yet the arches
- 5:20:12Speaker 5: need to be a bit more gentle. Stretching your toes
- 5:20:20Speaker 5: gently and message in the bottoms of your toes with
- 5:20:27Speaker 5: my fingers, each one individually. Moving over to the left
- 5:20:42Speaker 5: leg to do exactly the same thing. Starting at the
- 5:20:52Speaker 5: top of the thighs, work in the back of the
- 5:20:56Speaker 5: thighs and the sides hudgine deeply and gently the whole area,
- 5:21:09Speaker 5: working all the way down. And this is an area
- 5:21:18Speaker 5: that maybe you could like to spend more time relaxing
- 5:21:27Speaker 5: and messaging. So perhaps if you wanted like a bigger
- 5:21:33Speaker 5: future recording, want's spend more time on one particular area.
- 5:21:45Speaker 5: As you move down to your calf muscles, Massage in
- 5:21:57Speaker 5: your calf muscles firmly and gently move down your aincor
- 5:22:13Speaker 5: into your feet. Massage in the backs of your feet,
- 5:22:21Speaker 5: the bottoms of your feet, stretching your toes, and massage
- 5:22:30Speaker 5: in each tone individually. And that feeling of pleasure and
- 5:22:38Speaker 5: released that you experience when you're having your feet massaged
- 5:22:45Speaker 5: feels really good. Now, she turn over in your mind.
- 5:23:05Speaker 5: Laying on your back, I'm just gonna start again for
- 5:23:18Speaker 5: your neck area, in your shoulders, just to get back
- 5:23:33Speaker 5: in touch with that area. And as you move up,
- 5:23:50Speaker 5: I can clean my hands, make them more fresh, because
- 5:23:55Speaker 5: now I'm gonna message your face gently, starting off with
- 5:24:04Speaker 5: your forehead. Your eyes are closed and I can just
- 5:24:16Speaker 5: stretch your eyes a little bit, pushing up on your eyebrows,
- 5:24:29Speaker 5: just massaging around your scalp, massaging down your cheeks, around
- 5:24:42Speaker 5: your ears, into your chaw, gently the sides of your
- 5:24:54Speaker 5: neck chin m hmm. Then just moving down shall your
- 5:25:16Speaker 5: neck down to your chest, starting by message in the
- 5:25:24Speaker 5: very top of your chest where the collar phone is.
- 5:25:33Speaker 5: Give a side of the collarbone, and then just message
- 5:25:45Speaker 5: in the hole of the chest, moving the chest around.
- 5:26:06Speaker 5: Because it's quite a large area. You can move from
- 5:26:10Speaker 5: one side to the next, moving my hands underneath pretty
- 5:26:22Speaker 5: much where your arms are stretching up, stretching some of
- 5:26:31Speaker 5: the muscles of your back in the process, moving up
- 5:26:40Speaker 5: over your chest, and they're moving down again, and then
- 5:27:00Speaker 5: allowing my hands to just massage gently and slide down
- 5:27:07Speaker 5: towards your stomach, starting in the middle of your chest,
- 5:27:16Speaker 5: and then gradually my hands moving apart and massage in
- 5:27:23Speaker 5: and slide in at the same time, moving down to
- 5:27:32Speaker 5: just below your red cage, moving down, then massaging up again,
- 5:27:50Speaker 5: giving your chest all the attention that it needs to
- 5:27:58Speaker 5: feel comp lately relaxed, remembering them. I'm also going to
- 5:28:11Speaker 5: be focusing on your sides as well, an area that
- 5:28:17Speaker 5: really doesn't get much attention but feels really good when
- 5:28:24Speaker 5: it's massaged. Just stroking my hands down the sides of
- 5:28:33Speaker 5: your body, just below your arms, all the way down
- 5:28:40Speaker 5: to your hips. Now moving to your stomach area. I'm
- 5:28:55Speaker 5: going to stand one side of you like I did
- 5:28:59Speaker 5: when I did your love back. We're gonna do a
- 5:29:03Speaker 5: similar process of just stretching the muscles from your side,
- 5:29:13Speaker 5: gently massaging from one side to the next, move in
- 5:29:27Speaker 5: a whole area from below your ribs all the way
- 5:29:32Speaker 5: down to below your belly button. I'm then move around
- 5:29:42Speaker 5: to the other side of you and repeat that process
- 5:29:53Speaker 5: of relaxing deeply, calmly. You feel loose, you feel free.
- 5:30:08Speaker 5: And it's something about having your stomach massage that's different
- 5:30:13Speaker 5: from any other part because we do have a tendency
- 5:30:20Speaker 5: of holding a different kind of stress in our stomach
- 5:30:26Speaker 5: that we may not be aware of. As in our
- 5:30:34Speaker 5: message your stomach. In front of your stomach, they can
- 5:30:41Speaker 5: circles around your belly button. Thing going the other way
- 5:30:52Speaker 5: around the gentleness and a freedom that comes from feeling
- 5:31:05Speaker 5: how you're feeling. As I now move down the tops
- 5:31:16Speaker 5: of your thighs the muscles, massaging them, and I can
- 5:31:23Speaker 5: do this two legs at the same time, pressing down
- 5:31:32Speaker 5: massaging deeply those muscles in your thighs at front of
- 5:31:38Speaker 5: your thighs, and moving down to your knees, gently massaging
- 5:31:49Speaker 5: your knees, sliding down your shins, putting pressure or on
- 5:32:00Speaker 5: either side of your shin gently softly but firmly, moving
- 5:32:12Speaker 5: down to your ankles, stroking the tops of your feet,
- 5:32:27Speaker 5: and then with each foot in each hand, just gently
- 5:32:33Speaker 5: messaging the whole of the foot, the top, the bottom,
- 5:32:42Speaker 5: your heel, your ankle, your toes messaging every part of
- 5:32:51Speaker 5: your feet feels so good to let go and enjoy
- 5:33:01Speaker 5: the process, enjoy feeling so deeply relaxed, so much comfort,
- 5:33:26Speaker 5: and so many feelings that come just from touching your skin.
- 5:33:43Speaker 5: And you can just lie there for as long as
- 5:33:49Speaker 5: you choose, enjoying the feeling of deep comfort being massaged.
- 5:34:05Speaker 8: By me.
- 5:34:13Speaker 5: Enjoy fear, deep.
- 5:34:27Speaker 8: Light.
- 5:34:33Speaker 5: And all we're gonna do is blow out some candles.
- 5:34:42Speaker 5: In your mind, there are gonna be a hundred candles,
- 5:35:05Speaker 5: and you're going to blow each one out individually, one
- 5:35:11Speaker 5: by one, starting at one hundred. As I count down
- 5:35:23Speaker 5: all the way down to one, and each time I
- 5:35:31Speaker 5: say a number, you can imagine that candle in front
- 5:35:40Speaker 5: of you, and I'd like you to actually physically gently
- 5:35:51Speaker 5: blow that candle out, just so it's not big blows,
- 5:36:07Speaker 5: just a gentle, and that candle will extinguish. And then
- 5:36:21Speaker 5: I'll say the next number as we move down, and
- 5:36:28Speaker 5: you can just blow that one out as well. And
- 5:36:41Speaker 5: as we move down the numbers, you'll find yourself feeding
- 5:36:51Speaker 5: more and more relaxed. If you need to sleep, you'll
- 5:37:00Speaker 5: also find yourself becoming incredibly tired and sleepy. In fact,
- 5:37:12Speaker 5: you may struggle to blow out all one hundred of
- 5:37:22Speaker 5: these candles. As you feel more and more deeply relaxed,
- 5:37:47Speaker 5: more and more deeply tired, and the further you go down,
- 5:38:08Speaker 5: the more.
- 5:38:10Speaker 8: Your mind.
- 5:38:12Speaker 5: Starts to drift. You may find that you stop listening
- 5:38:25Speaker 5: to me after a while. And even though there may
- 5:38:38Speaker 5: be background sounds where you are, you'll be aware of
- 5:38:47Speaker 5: those sounds at the moment, be may start to just
- 5:39:06Speaker 5: not even notice them at all because they're unimportant. Where
- 5:39:25Speaker 5: I am, I've got the sounds of the birds, there's horrors,
- 5:39:33Speaker 5: the pigeon who likes to say hello sometimes, and there's
- 5:39:41Speaker 5: the odd plane that goes by, maybe traffic and trains
- 5:39:52Speaker 5: in the distance. But none of that's scene is important whatsoever.
- 5:40:09Speaker 5: More candles you blow out, less important anything is. From
- 5:40:23Speaker 5: more candles you blow out, the further you seem to
- 5:40:34Speaker 5: move away from sounds and from general date days, stuff
- 5:40:54Speaker 5: seems to just move away. Yah on, insane. You feel
- 5:41:09Speaker 5: more calmer with every candle you blow out, guiding you
- 5:41:32Speaker 5: to the next number. Did you hear me say? And
- 5:41:45Speaker 5: then you blow that candle out too? So easy, so simple.
- 5:42:13Speaker 5: We're gonna start by introducing the first candle, which is
- 5:42:27Speaker 5: a hundred first candle she is one hundred. When you
- 5:42:45Speaker 5: blow that candle out, you'll find immediately a slight change
- 5:43:05Speaker 5: in how you feel, as well as the real sense
- 5:43:14Speaker 5: of positivity growing within you, relaxation and sleepiness expanding. Starting
- 5:43:45Speaker 5: with one hundred blow out by candle now ninety nine,
- 5:44:32Speaker 5: candle ninety eight can do nine, ten, ninety six tend
- 5:46:13Speaker 5: ninety five and ninety four can do ninety three, hand
- 5:47:42Speaker 5: nine two and ninety one, ten to ninety eight, two, nine, eighty.

- 6:35:01Speaker 8: Nine eight eights, n.
- 6:36:42Speaker 5: Six jam jame four and doy two two can or.
- 6:41:25Speaker 8: Let go.
- 6:41:27Speaker 5: Of all of those thoughts, worries, concerns about the past,
- 6:41:35Speaker 5: thoughts about the future, and even things you've been thinking
- 6:41:39Speaker 5: about today. Just let it all go because none of
- 6:41:47Speaker 5: it is useful in this moment. This is your opportunity
- 6:42:02Speaker 5: to just focus on feeling relaxed, allowing yourself to get
- 6:42:16Speaker 5: in touch with that natural sense of peace that we
- 6:42:26Speaker 5: all have within us. It's available for everyone. It just
- 6:42:33Speaker 5: sometimes takes a little bit of effort to set up
- 6:42:38Speaker 5: the right time and place in order for you to
- 6:42:44Speaker 5: just let go. Because when you do decide to let
- 6:42:53Speaker 5: go and relax, that's what your body starts to do
- 6:43:02Speaker 5: because you've chosen, You've chosen to just allow your body
- 6:43:10Speaker 5: to unwind and your mind starts to slow down. And
- 6:43:18Speaker 5: it's a nice feeling. It's a nice feeling at the beginning,
- 6:43:23Speaker 5: just to know that you have chosen to decide to
- 6:43:32Speaker 5: relax deeply, and because you've made that decision, your body
- 6:43:41Speaker 5: will just follow suit. Because sometimes all the muscles in
- 6:43:47Speaker 5: your body need is just permission from you to relax.
- 6:43:57Speaker 5: Because so often we're busy going from here to there,
- 6:44:02Speaker 5: we're walking around and we're doing stuff, and the body
- 6:44:08Speaker 5: doesn't have any time or space to really relax deeply.
- 6:44:19Speaker 5: So it kind of waits for you to lead the way,
- 6:44:24Speaker 5: waits for your permission. And when you do give your permission,
- 6:44:36Speaker 5: when you give to say so, we need say okay,
- 6:44:40Speaker 5: it's time for your body to let go completely and relax. Totally.
- 6:44:52Speaker 5: Your body just follows. It's like a breath of relief.
- 6:45:00Speaker 5: Ah good, I can now relax. That feeling at the
- 6:45:09Speaker 5: end of a day, of a very physical day that
- 6:45:12Speaker 5: you may experience in the past. But you get home
- 6:45:16Speaker 5: and you just sit down on a chair, maybe you
- 6:45:20Speaker 5: kick your shoes off and not. Ah, feels so nice
- 6:45:26Speaker 5: knowing that you don't have to get up again for
- 6:45:30Speaker 5: a little while at least if you choose, you can
- 6:45:34Speaker 5: just sit there for maybe an hour to It feels blissful.
- 6:45:47Speaker 5: And just by sitting down like that, your body knows
- 6:45:52Speaker 5: that it's time to relax. Your body has been given
- 6:45:57Speaker 5: permission from you. Because it's a mindset in your mind,
- 6:46:07Speaker 5: you're prepared to let go of everything and just completely
- 6:46:19Speaker 5: allow all the stress of your body to evaporate. Any
- 6:46:28Speaker 5: tensions can just gradually vanish. It's almost like magic, really,
- 6:46:47Speaker 5: because that sense of relaxation in your body, it's a
- 6:46:55Speaker 5: very natural state. It's not something unusual. It may feel
- 6:47:01Speaker 5: unusual when you first start to relax with you if
- 6:47:05Speaker 5: you haven't really spent a lot of time focusing and
- 6:47:10Speaker 5: giving yourself this space to let go completely and relax,
- 6:47:15Speaker 5: and they seem are most alien, but it isn't. It's
- 6:47:22Speaker 5: actually the most natural thing in the world to let
- 6:47:28Speaker 5: go completely, to relax totally, the most natural thing in
- 6:47:38Speaker 5: the world to allow yourself to feel really calm in
- 6:47:50Speaker 5: your mind. And it is almost like a literal unwinding.
- 6:48:01Speaker 5: It's like you press a button and all the tension
- 6:48:07Speaker 5: just releases, and it's like a wheel, like a cog,
- 6:48:13Speaker 5: like the inside of a clock, just unwinding. And it's
- 6:48:17Speaker 5: almost like you could see the little wind up knob
- 6:48:22Speaker 5: that's used just going the opposite way that you choose
- 6:48:27Speaker 5: to wind it up, and the energy that fremetic stress
- 6:48:36Speaker 5: for energy gradually winding down, losing its power, losing its strength.
- 6:48:48Speaker 5: As a sense of relaxation becomes stronger and deeper, and.
- 6:48:58Speaker 4: You may.
- 6:49:00Speaker 5: Find a the more relaxed you feel, that your mind
- 6:49:07Speaker 5: starts to wonder, maybe seem to stop listening to me
- 6:49:17Speaker 5: for a while, and your mind goes somewhere else, and
- 6:49:22Speaker 5: then you realize you're listening to me again, and that's
- 6:49:29Speaker 5: just your mind drifting to sleep, which is quite natural,
- 6:49:39Speaker 5: because sometimes when we're stressed and tense, we're not I
- 6:49:47Speaker 5: mean I actually be aware of what we need, what
- 6:49:51Speaker 5: we physically, your emotionally need in this moment when you
- 6:50:01Speaker 5: allow your body and mind to relax completely and you
- 6:50:08Speaker 5: let go of all thoughts, concerns, worries, ideas all letting
- 6:50:17Speaker 5: them go allow them to drop onto the floor when
- 6:50:26Speaker 5: you start to get in touch with the feelings of
- 6:50:34Speaker 5: such relaxation, this feels so nice to be in touch
- 6:50:45Speaker 5: with the calmness of the different body parts as they
- 6:50:54Speaker 5: become looser and looser, and even your breathing seems easier
- 6:51:07Speaker 5: and more natural effortless, as that cool oreenters through your
- 6:51:17Speaker 5: mouth or nose into your lungs, breathing in comforts and relaxation,
- 6:51:30Speaker 5: and then just breathing out any excess remain intention or
- 6:51:36Speaker 5: stress from every part of your body and mind. And
- 6:51:47Speaker 5: as you start to focus on your mind, maybe you
- 6:51:52Speaker 5: notice that things have come to a standstill or maybe
- 6:52:00Speaker 5: be just much much lower than before, because your mind
- 6:52:09Speaker 5: is not really needed when listening to my voice, which
- 6:52:19Speaker 5: allows your mind to relax just as deeply as your body.
- 6:52:28Speaker 5: And that's synchronicity between the relaxation of your body relaxation
- 6:52:41Speaker 5: of your mind. Let you know that feeling completely calm, loose,
- 6:52:54Speaker 5: and relaxed really is a great healing experience. Fear and
- 6:53:08Speaker 5: has so many positive benefits for your body, mind, and
- 6:53:21Speaker 5: your life. To be able to let go everything and
- 6:53:30Speaker 5: to relax completely in all parts of your body and mind.
- 6:53:42Speaker 5: Even your bones has arised, all your muscles arise, even
- 6:53:58Speaker 5: the skin that covers your body is relaxed, every hair
- 6:54:15Speaker 5: that you have, it's also deeply relaxed. And your brain
- 6:54:33Speaker 5: really starts to feel the benefit but this healing relaxation,
- 6:54:48Speaker 5: and as you focus on the inside of your scalp
- 6:54:54Speaker 5: where your brain is, you can start to realize and
- 6:55:00Speaker 5: notice the benefits of your brain relaxing deeply. Then it's
- 6:55:13Speaker 5: your brain continues to relax sends those messages to the
- 6:55:26Speaker 5: rest of your body.
- 6:55:29Speaker 3: And your mind.
- 6:55:32Speaker 5: To re relax more deeply, relax me more completely, letting
- 6:55:55Speaker 5: go of any remaining thoughts or concerns, allowerment just drop
- 6:56:08Speaker 5: onto the floor because they're no longer necessary in this moment,
- 6:56:20Speaker 5: In this moment of deep relaxation and calmness, filling your
- 6:56:33Speaker 5: brain with deep concentrated heathing, calming, relaxing, every.
- 6:56:57Speaker 8: Part of your brain.
- 6:57:02Speaker 5: Feeling so loose and comfortable, so relaxed and peaceful. Your
- 6:57:23Speaker 5: brain feels so light and so healthy in a sense,
- 6:57:34Speaker 5: of deep deep comfort really does allow you to enjoy
- 6:57:51Speaker 5: those ever. Increase in sensations of comfort, breading throughout your body,
- 6:58:07Speaker 5: relaxing each and every muscle of your body, eat deeper
- 6:58:23Speaker 5: and deeper, much more deeper than before, much more confifort,
- 6:58:43Speaker 5: spreading through your body and your mind.
- 6:58:51Speaker 8: Be so.
- 6:58:55Speaker 5: Peaceful and calm, so very very peaceful in avery part
- 6:59:14Speaker 5: of your body, letting go the a everything averything, so
- 6:59:30Speaker 5: peaceful time, so relax a very second, the passes you
- 6:59:50Speaker 5: feel depa depath.
- 6:59:59Speaker 1: For that.
- 7:00:03Speaker 18: Deper and deperlax cal.
- 7:00:18Speaker 5: So calm peace, for so very peace from your head
- 7:00:35Speaker 5: down to your ties. Such peace and comfort growing all
- 7:00:48Speaker 5: the time, Such peace and comfort spreading through your body
- 7:01:02Speaker 5: and mind deeper and deeper, such comforts, spreading and sinking
- 7:01:18Speaker 5: deeper into airy muscle your body, so that you feel amazing,
- 7:01:36Speaker 5: so laxed, so peace, so.
- 7:01:47Speaker 7: So last.
- 7:01:52Speaker 5: And peaceful, letting go. You're going to do a body scan,
- 7:02:10Speaker 5: focusing on firstly how you feel in your body, not
- 7:02:17Speaker 5: trying to change how you feel, not trying to relax,
- 7:02:23Speaker 5: not trying to move away from any discomfort or stress
- 7:02:29Speaker 5: or tension, just accepting, observing and accepting how you feel
- 7:02:37Speaker 5: in the different parts of your body, just allowing yourself
- 7:02:43Speaker 5: to be exactly as you are, to notice to get
- 7:02:51Speaker 5: in touch with how you actually feel in this moment.
- 7:03:03Speaker 5: I'm gonna start off by focusing on your hands. Just
- 7:03:14Speaker 5: be aware of your hands. I'd like you to move
- 7:03:22Speaker 5: your hands around, just maybe move your fingers a little bit.
- 7:03:30Speaker 5: I've been enclosing your hands very gently, just so that
- 7:03:36Speaker 5: you can gain in touch with how your hands and
- 7:03:44Speaker 5: your fingers feel, very very slow movements. Focusing now on
- 7:04:05Speaker 5: your feet, and if you can just do kind of
- 7:04:13Speaker 5: an equivalent with your feet is you've just done with
- 7:04:18Speaker 5: your hands, Maybe turn in your ankles, moving your feet around,
- 7:04:28Speaker 5: moving your toes gently, only very gently and very slowly,
- 7:04:42Speaker 5: noticing how your feet fell in this moment. Focusing now
- 7:04:57Speaker 5: on your eyes, I'd like you to just focus on
- 7:05:05Speaker 5: your eyelids. Maybe you can open and close your eyes
- 7:05:11Speaker 5: a couple of times to really get in touch with
- 7:05:16Speaker 5: how you feel. When you do close your eyes, the
- 7:05:21Speaker 5: muscle changes in your eyes when you do close them,
- 7:05:30Speaker 5: maybe raising your eyebrows. It stretches the tops of your eyes,
- 7:05:39Speaker 5: perhaps squinting your eyes, scrunching up your eyes just so
- 7:05:48Speaker 5: you can hear it. Again touch with all aspects of
- 7:05:58Speaker 5: how your eyes feel.
- 7:06:04Speaker 4: Right now.
- 7:06:14Speaker 5: Now focus in on your thighs, and you know it
- 7:06:20Speaker 5: just asks you to gently tense your thighs, just very
- 7:06:27Speaker 5: very gently, just enough so you can become more attuned
- 7:06:41Speaker 5: to the physical sensation of your upper legs, the front
- 7:06:50Speaker 5: of your thighs, and the backs of your thighs. Noticing
- 7:07:00Speaker 5: and observing how your thighs fear. Right now, moving your
- 7:07:17Speaker 5: focus to the back of your neck, just noticing the
- 7:07:25Speaker 5: back of your neck, the muscles, and of course they
- 7:07:32Speaker 5: lead to the side of your neck. They also lead
- 7:07:37Speaker 5: to the top of your back, which leads to your shoulders.
- 7:07:43Speaker 5: So as your focus on the back of your neck,
- 7:07:49Speaker 5: maybe you can move your head gently upwards as if
- 7:07:55Speaker 5: you're looking up. Maybe moving your head down as if
- 7:08:03Speaker 5: you were looking down. Perhaps moving your head side to side,
- 7:08:11Speaker 5: right to left bony very slowly and very gently. I'm
- 7:08:24Speaker 5: not trying to force anything. It has to be very
- 7:08:32Speaker 5: very gentle, just so you can be more in touch
- 7:08:45Speaker 5: with the feelings, with the sensations, physical sensations of how
- 7:08:58Speaker 5: back of your neck fields. Right now, as we now
- 7:09:14Speaker 5: focus on the tops of your arms, the parts where
- 7:09:22Speaker 5: your biceps and your triceps are between your elbow and
- 7:09:27Speaker 5: your shoulders. To focus on those parts, the tops of
- 7:09:36Speaker 5: your arms, you may like to just tense them, but
- 7:09:44Speaker 5: very very gently and slowly. See you're not straining or
- 7:09:55Speaker 5: put in any pressure whatsoever on your arms. It's just
- 7:10:06Speaker 5: soly you can gain more of a sense of how
- 7:10:15Speaker 5: your upper arms are feeling in this moment, and just
- 7:10:27Speaker 5: noticing as you gently, very gently and slowly tighten the
- 7:10:39Speaker 5: muscles and then let go. Notice how the tops of
- 7:10:50Speaker 5: your arms feel right now as a now focus on
- 7:11:09Speaker 5: your stomach, the area the lower abdomen area below your
- 7:11:16Speaker 5: bellygotton moving all the way down to your hips, just
- 7:11:26Speaker 5: a part of your grind. Maybe you're able to tense
- 7:11:37Speaker 5: these muscles in the area very very gently and slowly,
- 7:11:55Speaker 5: if that's a difficult thing to do, and maybe you
- 7:11:59Speaker 5: can just move your body pushing your stomach up, maybe
- 7:12:10Speaker 5: moving a little bit to the side using your hips,
- 7:12:15Speaker 5: just so you can get more in tune with how
- 7:12:24Speaker 5: your lower abdomen area is feeling in this moment. Just
- 7:12:43Speaker 5: noticing the physical sensations or your lower abdomen. As you
- 7:13:06Speaker 5: move your attention to your mouth, notice in your lips
- 7:13:21Speaker 5: and inside your mouth, your teeth, your guns, your tongue,
- 7:13:39Speaker 5: just noticing how your tongue and your mouth feels, and
- 7:13:48Speaker 5: it may help by moving your tongue around your mouth,
- 7:13:57Speaker 5: moving it to your left, maybe pressing it gently against
- 7:14:04Speaker 5: the side of your mouth, and then to the right,
- 7:14:10Speaker 5: gently to the side of your mouth, perhaps pressing up
- 7:14:17Speaker 5: against the top of your mouth, and then down gently
- 7:14:26Speaker 5: against the bottom of your mouth. Aways very slowly in
- 7:14:37Speaker 5: a very very gentle so that you can be aware
- 7:14:57Speaker 5: of how you feel in your mouth area. Now I'm
- 7:15:19Speaker 5: going to focus on your wrists, and I'm going to
- 7:15:35Speaker 5: ask you to maybe just routine your wrists by moving
- 7:15:43Speaker 5: your hands in a circular motion very gently and slowly,
- 7:15:57Speaker 5: just slowly, can feel the sensations that you are currently
- 7:16:18Speaker 5: eperiencing in your risks. Perhaps move in your hands up
- 7:16:33Speaker 5: and down again very very gently and slowly, very gentor
- 7:17:03Speaker 5: and slow as you now start to observe in lower back.
- 7:17:34Speaker 5: The bad part is just a bun of your hips
- 7:17:44Speaker 5: where your coxis are a whole area which also really
- 7:17:57Speaker 5: does include the science of your body because those muscles
- 7:18:04Speaker 5: are very much connected as those muscles also move into
- 7:18:15Speaker 5: your hip area connecting to your buttocks. The sides of
- 7:18:23Speaker 5: your hips, and if you're physically able to do so,
- 7:18:40Speaker 5: maybe you can very gently just move your body eviss slightly,
- 7:18:54Speaker 5: very slowly from side to side, just enough to gauge
- 7:19:16Speaker 5: how you feel in your low back. Perhaps it could
- 7:19:29Speaker 5: even move your hips gently up and down gently slowly
- 7:19:47Speaker 5: in order to.
- 7:19:53Speaker 4: Be in touch.
- 7:19:57Speaker 5: With the physical sense shs of your low back. As
- 7:20:20Speaker 5: we now live to your attention.
- 7:20:31Speaker 19: To your joel, that area for your chin, all the
- 7:20:39Speaker 19: way up to near where your ears are.
- 7:20:46Speaker 5: Oh, of your jaw, you can just yeah, it's okay
- 7:21:01Speaker 5: to do so. Gently open your mouth, not wide, no stretching,
- 7:21:13Speaker 5: just very gently and slowly opening your mouth thing closing
- 7:21:27Speaker 5: your mouth very gently and slowly, so you can be
- 7:21:48Speaker 5: in touch with how your jaw feels.
- 7:22:01Speaker 4: Now.
- 7:22:28Speaker 5: And I'll just sit down the chest areel. You don't
- 7:22:44Speaker 5: need to do anything to move your chest because it
- 7:22:52Speaker 5: moves every time you breathe. Move very gently and slowly
- 7:23:08Speaker 5: automatically with each strepp you take as you focus on
- 7:23:26Speaker 5: how your chest feels when you breathe. Move in your
- 7:24:10Speaker 5: focus to your forearms and your elbows. Maybe you're able
- 7:24:25Speaker 5: to very gently and slowly tense the muscles in your
- 7:24:39Speaker 5: forearms and when you do that, you can feel your
- 7:24:49Speaker 5: elbows as well, very gently and slowly, gently and softly,
- 7:25:26Speaker 5: I'm savy. Your forearms and dippers. No focus the rest
- 7:26:05Speaker 5: of your back, your upper back and the middle the
- 7:26:18Speaker 5: middle of your back again, this part of your body. News. Also,
- 7:26:41Speaker 5: every time you pray, you may not notice that. Usually
- 7:26:58Speaker 5: these you ser you offer back in the middle of
- 7:27:04Speaker 5: your back. You can really feel that gento ends moving
- 7:28:05Speaker 5: your focus into your hip area, your butties, your brain,
- 7:28:20Speaker 5: those muscles, and those bones in your midsection. Just noticing
- 7:28:58Speaker 5: how you're hips. Yes, feel.
- 7:29:05Speaker 13: Right now.
- 7:29:14Speaker 5: You can very very gently you love your hips, maybe
- 7:29:29Speaker 5: side to side very gently and say very can't okay,
- 7:30:07Speaker 5: sorft me.
- 7:30:16Speaker 6: No.
- 7:30:22Speaker 5: Everything starts to slow down, including the thoughts in your
- 7:30:39Speaker 5: mind and your mind itself just starts to gradually. It
- 7:30:51Speaker 5: doesn't have to be instant, but just gradually starting too.
- 7:30:59Speaker 5: It's almost like time is storing chin. It's a slower
- 7:31:08Speaker 5: pace to maybe what you're used to in your day
- 7:31:16Speaker 5: to day life. It's a slower movement of energy, very
- 7:31:42Speaker 5: small movements which make up the larger movements. This is
- 7:31:50Speaker 5: always the case. Now, when you move your hand, it
- 7:31:58Speaker 5: might seem like it's movement but it's lots of minute
- 7:32:03Speaker 5: different muscles moving in accordance with each other. And what
- 7:32:15Speaker 5: happens in this space that we're sharing is we move
- 7:32:27Speaker 5: from that big movement into those smaller movements. Starting to
- 7:32:48Speaker 5: focus on how your body feels, not just as a whole,
- 7:33:01Speaker 5: not just oh, I feel in this way. I'm feeling
- 7:33:05Speaker 5: stressed or tense, or I'm feeling relaxed and calm. I'm
- 7:33:11Speaker 5: feeling this way, I'm feeling that way. Starting to notice
- 7:33:18Speaker 5: that your body begins to present to you small feelings
- 7:33:32Speaker 5: around your body, small physical sensations in your legs, whether
- 7:33:50Speaker 5: pleasurable or not. Maybe resisting the temptation to label them
- 7:34:05Speaker 5: or to judge them those feelings, just thinking them, thinking
- 7:34:13Speaker 5: about them is just being neutral, just feelings, not being
- 7:34:27Speaker 5: particularly concerned, but just noticing what your body is telling you.
- 7:34:45Speaker 5: The feelings in your arms, instead of feeling the whole
- 7:34:52Speaker 5: of the arm, may be notice those individual feeling for
- 7:35:01Speaker 5: all those different muscles and the skin, the hairs of
- 7:35:13Speaker 5: your arms, all the internal parts of your arms, the veins,
- 7:35:29Speaker 5: the bones. Just being aware of maybe your elbow on
- 7:35:38Speaker 5: your right arm has a certain feeling, maybe your left
- 7:35:46Speaker 5: wrist also has its own individual physical sensation. What about
- 7:36:12Speaker 5: your forearm when your right arm, you're right forearm, there
- 7:36:25Speaker 5: may not be any particular feeling that you could even
- 7:36:33Speaker 5: give a name to, may not feel like anything other
- 7:36:40Speaker 5: than just a feeling. You know, it's there. The feelings
- 7:36:51Speaker 5: in your shoulders, perhaps your shoulders when you think about them,
- 7:36:58Speaker 5: kind of almost like there's the same, you know, the
- 7:37:03Speaker 5: same feeling. What it's like you both of your shoulders
- 7:37:07Speaker 5: are just one thing. Of course they're not. And when
- 7:37:20Speaker 5: you focus on your left shoulder and then on your
- 7:37:26Speaker 5: right shoulder, maybe find that you move the muscles a
- 7:37:33Speaker 5: little bit, maybe tense the muscles gently, noticing the difference
- 7:37:48Speaker 5: in each shoulder and your lower back, the left side
- 7:38:16Speaker 5: of your lower back and the right side of your
- 7:38:19Speaker 5: lower back of course that connection to your buttocks and
- 7:38:32Speaker 5: to your hips, and also moving up into the middle
- 7:38:44Speaker 5: of your back. And sometimes like right now, actually I
- 7:38:58Speaker 5: want to focus on their part. When I focused on
- 7:39:01Speaker 5: my buttocks and then I focused on the middle of
- 7:39:07Speaker 5: my back, it almost felt like the muscles in my
- 7:39:10Speaker 5: lower back were being stretched very gently, just stretched a
- 7:39:20Speaker 5: little bit, even though I wasn't doing anything to try
- 7:39:29Speaker 5: to stretch your lower back. It just seemed to happen.
- 7:39:35Speaker 5: The feeling of very gently stretching your lower back comes along.
- 7:39:56Speaker 5: I have feeling in your chest, just noticing what sensations
- 7:40:21Speaker 5: you are experiencing in your chest right now. And there's
- 7:40:39Speaker 5: so much of the chest. Obviously, there's the collar bone
- 7:40:43Speaker 5: leading to the chest. You've got the chest bone, You've
- 7:40:50Speaker 5: got the muscles in your chest. Of course, if you're female,
- 7:40:59Speaker 5: there's possibly the breasts. Your male you've got the different
- 7:41:11Speaker 5: well might not that different these days, but there may
- 7:41:15Speaker 5: be more muscles at the top of the chest, but
- 7:41:23Speaker 5: at the side underneath, it's pretty much the same. Whether
- 7:41:29Speaker 5: you're a man or a woman. There's muscles there, muscles
- 7:41:33Speaker 5: that stretch out to your back as well as breast
- 7:41:38Speaker 5: tissue which stretches and moves into your back. To just
- 7:41:47Speaker 5: being aware of your chest, being with whatever feeling there
- 7:42:06Speaker 5: is in your chest. When I noticed that, I focus
- 7:42:27Speaker 5: on my chest, I feel it in my back and
- 7:42:34Speaker 5: my upper back, and mean, I guess the obvious reason
- 7:42:38Speaker 5: would be because you know, I'll breathe in in and
- 7:42:49Speaker 5: it stretches my chest and my back at the same time.
- 7:43:00Speaker 5: It feels it feels okay, doesn't feel I got a
- 7:43:15Speaker 5: little bit of pain in my right chest, A little
- 7:43:22Speaker 5: bit not pain, but a little discomfort, maybe.
- 7:43:27Speaker 20: Stiffness possibly, I don't know. I notice my shoulders are
- 7:43:35Speaker 20: also wanting to.
- 7:43:40Speaker 5: Flex for some reason. I think that's probably part of
- 7:43:45Speaker 5: my upper back, that connection between my shoulders and my
- 7:43:53Speaker 5: other back. Because I can move my shoulders and stretch
- 7:43:59Speaker 5: the muscles in my back, moving the shoulders backwards or up,
- 7:44:08Speaker 5: which then moves I think it's the scapulous in your back.
- 7:44:25Speaker 5: It feels quite nice. Actually, a good thing about this
- 7:44:33Speaker 5: is you can, if you want to, you can just
- 7:44:41Speaker 5: flex or stimulate the various muscles in your body gently
- 7:44:54Speaker 5: in order to get more of a sense of how
- 7:44:58Speaker 5: they feel. And when you're relaxing and you do tense
- 7:45:13Speaker 5: and muscle and you let it go and you let
- 7:45:17Speaker 5: it relax, it relaxes way more.
- 7:45:25Speaker 21: Than it would normally, And you have to feel that
- 7:45:35Speaker 21: you're able to do that. There's no point in doing
- 7:45:39Speaker 21: it if there's.
- 7:45:39Speaker 5: An issue with the per part of your body. You
- 7:45:48Speaker 5: need to be gentle with yourself at all times when
- 7:45:58Speaker 5: relaxing deeply. It's important to be kind to yourself. As
- 7:46:17Speaker 5: you notice your mind. How much has your mind slowed
- 7:46:26Speaker 5: down since we started this recording, How come and peaceful
- 7:46:55Speaker 5: is your mind right now? We have nothing to think
- 7:47:04Speaker 5: about and just my voice to listen to. Because you know,
- 7:47:15Speaker 5: the intention behind this recording is relaxation. At the very least,
- 7:47:28Speaker 5: for you to feel more relaxed at the end of
- 7:47:32Speaker 5: the recording than you did at the beginning. At the
- 7:47:41Speaker 5: very least, your mind to slow down as your body
- 7:47:53Speaker 5: continues to relax, because that's what you want to happen.
- 7:48:13Speaker 5: That's what you expect to happen, a relaxation to fill
- 7:48:34Speaker 5: your body, maybe calm in your mind to the point
- 7:48:47Speaker 5: of boredom. When you start maybe to drift yah away, dresting,
- 7:49:34Speaker 5: it's almost as if you're moving further away from a
- 7:49:44Speaker 5: body in your mind, just leaving that there, kind of
- 7:49:58Speaker 5: liking it an escape. Odd in the spaceship a movie,
- 7:50:03Speaker 5: a space movie, you know when they get into a
- 7:50:06Speaker 5: little pard in it, since the man far away from
- 7:50:12Speaker 5: the spaceship save to dream and continue to relax. Drifting
- 7:51:20Speaker 5: so slow and be so so rare.
- 7:52:06Speaker 8: And peace.
- 7:52:28Speaker 5: And focusing on the feeling of those individual parts of
- 7:52:42Speaker 5: your body. That's a relaxing. One by one, you me
- 7:53:01Speaker 5: find that every now and then you realize that you
- 7:53:15Speaker 5: aren't listening to my voice because your mind started to
- 7:53:23Speaker 5: imagine something different, maybe started to almost move into some
- 7:53:39Speaker 5: kind of a dreamy state. And then you become aware
- 7:53:48Speaker 5: of my voice again. And even though you may want
- 7:53:57Speaker 5: to focus on my voice, you may also wish to
- 7:54:04Speaker 5: allow your mind to just drift naturally into that space
- 7:54:16Speaker 5: of comfort and safety. As you feel more comfort spreading
- 7:54:41Speaker 5: through your body like a warm blanket covering you gently,
- 7:54:57Speaker 5: keeping your body at just the perfect temperature. And even
- 7:55:16Speaker 5: if you can hear the background sounds, they just don't
- 7:55:27Speaker 5: seem to matter anymore. There's that sensor peace spreads through
- 7:55:45Speaker 5: your mind like a gentle grease, yet strong enough to
- 7:55:59Speaker 5: blow away all negativity, strong.
- 7:56:09Speaker 12: Enough to.
- 7:56:13Speaker 5: Remove from your mind any anxiety or stress that was
- 7:56:24Speaker 5: there before, and blow away any other thoughts or feelings
- 7:56:39Speaker 5: that just don't fit with the sense relaxation that is
- 7:57:05Speaker 5: feeling your body and your mind. Unless you focus on
- 7:57:30Speaker 5: your mind. The count down from ten down to one,
- 7:57:38Speaker 5: and with each number you hear, your mind will become
- 7:57:55Speaker 5: slightly more relaxed, just just lightly, from ten down to nine,
- 7:58:16Speaker 5: just a slight movement from nine down to eight, just
- 7:58:23Speaker 5: another small change in how you feel eight down to seven,
- 7:58:43Speaker 5: that feeling is a gap, almost like a gap that
- 7:58:48Speaker 5: starts to get wider, the gap between those feelings that
- 7:58:58Speaker 5: you used to have in your mind compared to the
- 7:59:05Speaker 5: feelings you have though growing now, feelings of comfort and
- 7:59:13Speaker 5: security and confidence, and the gap becomes wider. Eight down
- 7:59:25Speaker 5: to seven, seven down to six. When you get to five,
- 7:59:35Speaker 5: your mind will start to have a certain physical sensation,
- 7:59:48Speaker 5: most like there's a magnet outside of your head sucking
- 7:59:55Speaker 5: the tension and a stress and any remaining feelings that
- 8:00:01Speaker 5: you don't want, sucking them out through your skull.
- 8:00:12Speaker 14: And in down to four.
- 8:00:15Speaker 5: You can start to really experience that sense of not
- 8:00:22Speaker 5: just emptiness, but space, a place full of fresh air,
- 8:00:38Speaker 5: place where you can stretch. It's almost as if as
- 8:00:44Speaker 5: you go down to four and three, your mind is
- 8:00:49Speaker 5: expanding with this sense of peace and tranquility, growing it
- 8:01:03Speaker 5: moves down to when you get to one, your mind
- 8:01:14Speaker 5: just feels exactly how you want to feel, almost perfect feeling,
- 8:01:33Speaker 5: maybe a sensation that.
- 8:01:40Speaker 12: You'd like to keep.
- 8:01:44Speaker 5: A place that's safe, where nothing can affect you at all,
- 8:02:07Speaker 5: and you can stay in that that space of comfort
- 8:02:12Speaker 5: and confidence, confident in your own ability to create this
- 8:02:22Speaker 5: space and this feeling of comfort within your own mind
- 8:02:30Speaker 5: just by counting ten down to one. And this is
- 8:02:40Speaker 5: something that you can do yourself when you're on your own,
- 8:02:49Speaker 5: the time when you can maybe sit down, maybe just
- 8:02:53Speaker 5: for a few minutes, close eyes. It just counts slowly
- 8:03:06Speaker 5: from ten down to one and re experience these feelings
- 8:03:21Speaker 5: in your mind. And when you feel that way in
- 8:03:29Speaker 5: your mind, your body copies your mind, and that feeling
- 8:03:45Speaker 5: is spread through your spine and your nervous system into
- 8:03:52Speaker 5: every part of your body, travels through your bloodstream, heathing
- 8:04:06Speaker 5: and relaxing every particle of your existence. And we can
- 8:04:27Speaker 5: practice this a few times before the end of the recording,
- 8:04:36Speaker 5: and then you can practice on your own. But each
- 8:04:42Speaker 5: time you count for ten about one, the feelings of comfort, calmness,
- 8:04:55Speaker 5: and deep deep relaxation becomes stronger and deeper feeling your
- 8:05:15Speaker 5: mind and your brain with these positive chemicals, the spread
- 8:05:25Speaker 5: throughout your body, relaxing you so quickly, relaxing your whole
- 8:05:35Speaker 5: body and mind so very very easily, just by counting
- 8:05:49Speaker 5: ten down to one.
- 8:05:58Speaker 12: That's what we're gonna do now.
- 8:06:00Speaker 5: I'm going to count from ten down to one. I'd
- 8:06:04Speaker 5: like you to repeat the number after me. So when
- 8:06:08Speaker 5: I say ten, you can just repeat to yourself ten.
- 8:06:23Speaker 5: Just notice, be aware of how you feel in your
- 8:06:32Speaker 5: mind and your body. Then when I say nine, you
- 8:06:42Speaker 5: can repeat to yourself nine again, noticing the increase in
- 8:06:58Speaker 5: comfort and calmness in your mind and in your body.
- 8:07:12Speaker 5: The same when I say eight, I want I say seven, six,
- 8:07:24Speaker 5: when I say five, four, when I say three, two,
- 8:07:42Speaker 5: and lastly when I say one, can repeat that number. Now,
- 8:07:56Speaker 5: of course, when you do this on your own without
- 8:08:02Speaker 5: listening to me, you can say the numbers or whatever
- 8:08:09Speaker 5: speed that you feel is necessary for you, so you
- 8:08:17Speaker 5: can adapt. So if you feel you want to say
- 8:08:23Speaker 5: the numbers ten down to one faster than I do,
- 8:08:31Speaker 5: then you go ahead and do that. Or if you
- 8:08:33Speaker 5: feel when you do it yourself that you'd like to
- 8:08:38Speaker 5: have more more space between the numbers, maybe take a
- 8:08:46Speaker 5: lot longer to get from ten all the way down
- 8:08:54Speaker 5: to one, that's your choice.
- 8:09:00Speaker 12: I'll say it to day.
- 8:09:10Speaker 5: So I'm going to count from ten.
- 8:09:12Speaker 12: Down to one, and when I get to one.
- 8:09:21Speaker 5: That WOK. At the end of this recording, and let's
- 8:09:27Speaker 5: of course you're listening to music and the music will
- 8:09:31Speaker 5: continue ten nine, five, s.
- 8:13:16Speaker 3: U u u u u u u u.
- 8:14:11Speaker 5: Twenty nineteen eighteen, seventeen, sixteen, fifteen, fourteen, thirteen, twelve eleven, ten,
- 8:15:07Speaker 5: nine eight, seven, six, five, four, three two one. Now
- 8:15:57Speaker 5: open eyes, noticing how you physically feel having counted down
- 8:16:08Speaker 5: from twenty to one, allowing stress and tension to lead
- 8:16:16Speaker 5: through your fingertips and your toes. And as you focus
- 8:16:21Speaker 5: on your fingertips, maybe they feel a little bit tingly,
- 8:16:28Speaker 5: which is I suppose quite an understanding considering the tension
- 8:16:33Speaker 5: has been exiting your body through your fingertips. So now
- 8:16:43Speaker 5: I'm going to count from twenty down to one again.
- 8:16:46Speaker 5: This time you're going to feel relief of tension and
- 8:16:55Speaker 5: stress in the anxiety that you may have leaving through
- 8:17:06Speaker 5: your stomach. Just leaving through your stomach, almost as if
- 8:17:12Speaker 5: it's just releasing. The hole of your stomach will naval
- 8:17:20Speaker 5: to just above your chest or below your chest, rather
- 8:17:24Speaker 5: so surrounding your belly by an area, the whole area.
- 8:17:29Speaker 5: You can feel the tension of your body wherever it's left,
- 8:17:34Speaker 5: just releasing from that area, and you may notice that
- 8:17:40Speaker 5: your stomach will become very relaxed as I countdown from
- 8:17:46Speaker 5: twenty down to one. Now twenty, nineteen, eighteen, seventeen, sixteen, fifteen, fourteen, thirteen, twelve, eleven, ten, nine,
- 8:18:53Speaker 5: eight seven six my oh.
- 8:19:14Speaker 12: Three two.
- 8:19:25Speaker 5: What And you can open your eyes again if you choose,
- 8:19:32Speaker 5: but I can just keep them closed because it feels relaxing.
- 8:19:38Speaker 5: Just notice saying your stomach gels. Notice as your focus,
- 8:19:44Speaker 5: just do a little scan of your body's not to
- 8:19:49Speaker 5: say your body els, focusing up a body back, chest,
- 8:19:59Speaker 5: stomach lad exams and be just noticing. And you know,
- 8:20:11Speaker 5: you may start to feel more of a sense of tiredness,
- 8:20:17Speaker 5: which may be the reason listening to this recording, because
- 8:20:23Speaker 5: you would like to let go completely of everything and
- 8:20:31Speaker 5: dread mo into a nice, natural, calm, relaxing sleep. So
- 8:20:49Speaker 5: now we're going to focus on your forehead, and if
- 8:20:58Speaker 5: you choose, you can incorporate your eyes in this focus
- 8:21:02Speaker 5: as well. Your forehead and your eyes. It's that whole
- 8:21:08Speaker 5: area basically almost as if you were wearing a mask.
- 8:21:13Speaker 12: You know, like a.
- 8:21:15Speaker 5: I don't know, a Batman mask or something, or I'm
- 8:21:21Speaker 5: trying to fa zorro or something, you know, the kind
- 8:21:24Speaker 5: of mask that covers your eyes but also covers quite
- 8:21:27Speaker 5: a lot of the forehead. We're focusing on that area,
- 8:21:33Speaker 5: because that's the area that we're now going to release
- 8:21:37Speaker 5: tension and stress from your mind and your brain, from
- 8:21:42Speaker 5: your mind, and any tension that you may have remaining
- 8:21:47Speaker 5: your face, in your neck and your jaw, and your eyes,
- 8:21:53Speaker 5: and your forehead or your scalp. So basically any tension
- 8:21:59Speaker 5: within your head area, including your mind and your brain
- 8:22:08Speaker 5: that's going to be released through your forehead in your eyes.
- 8:22:16Speaker 5: As I count down again from twenty down to one
- 8:22:23Speaker 5: now twenty nineteen, eighteen, seventeen, sixteen, fifteen, fourteen, thirteen, twelve, eleven, ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four.
- 8:23:53Speaker 3: Three.
- 8:24:03Speaker 5: What noticing as you scan your face, jaw, your eyes,
- 8:24:21Speaker 5: the cheap bones, your ears, your forehead, your scalp, your neck,
- 8:24:31Speaker 5: the back of your neck, in the front of your neck,
- 8:24:35Speaker 5: the side of your neck, and your throat.
- 8:24:39Speaker 8: H h.
- 8:24:43Speaker 5: Noticing being aware of the comfort increased be in the relaxation,
- 8:24:57Speaker 5: not just in your head and neck and mind, also
- 8:25:02Speaker 5: the rest of your body. It is how loose and
- 8:25:12Speaker 5: calm you feel, and how easily.
- 8:25:17Speaker 12: It is to just let go.
- 8:25:22Speaker 14: Completely, let go completely, how easily.
- 8:25:45Speaker 5: So I'm going to do now, is I want to
- 8:25:48Speaker 5: focus on the top of your head, and we're going
- 8:25:56Speaker 5: to allow every asked piece of tension or stress that
- 8:26:05Speaker 5: might be lingering or hiding in your body or mind.
- 8:26:12Speaker 12: My head to just be sucked out on the top
- 8:26:19Speaker 12: of your head. At least it's yeah, I'm sucked out
- 8:26:29Speaker 12: into the clouds.
- 8:26:33Speaker 5: Imagine a people cloud of God your head almost like
- 8:26:38Speaker 5: a whirlpool, and this can suck.
- 8:26:41Speaker 12: That at tension now at the top of your head.
- 8:26:47Speaker 5: And just take it away.
- 8:26:50Speaker 12: The good.
- 8:26:54Speaker 5: To focus. Imagine an opening on the top of your
- 8:26:58Speaker 5: head with their tension, stress and any remaining issues maybe
- 8:27:05Speaker 5: worries of concerns.
- 8:27:07Speaker 12: That are no use to you. Now you can all
- 8:27:11Speaker 12: be sucked down at the top of my head.
- 8:27:15Speaker 5: I've taken away. As I count down again from twenty
- 8:27:21Speaker 5: down to one now twenty nineteen, eighteen, seventeen, sixteen, fifteen, fourteen,
- 8:28:14Speaker 5: thirteen to twelve even, ten, nine, eight, seven, six.
- 8:29:04Speaker 14: By four.
- 8:29:14Speaker 5: Three to wah breath, I'm noticing how you feel, how
- 8:29:49Speaker 5: relaxed and calm it physically and mentally feel right now
- 8:30:03Speaker 5: help peace or your mind feels. It feels so nice
- 8:30:13Speaker 5: to just let go, to give yourself some space to
- 8:30:20Speaker 5: breathe easily, to think calmly, just to take a break
- 8:30:32Speaker 5: from all that pointless worry concerns about things that you
- 8:30:40Speaker 5: don't need to think about right now, because this is
- 8:30:50Speaker 5: your time to let go. This is your space to
- 8:30:55Speaker 5: enjoy feeling deeply relaxed, peaceful in your mind, relaxed in
- 8:31:06Speaker 5: your body.
- 8:31:10Speaker 12: It can feel so.
- 8:31:11Speaker 5: Good, so nice to just not have to do anything,
- 8:31:23Speaker 5: to be able to really enjoy that serenity that comes
- 8:31:34Speaker 5: letting go completely, that peacefulness that comes with.
- 8:31:46Speaker 12: Being in this.
- 8:31:50Speaker 5: Peaceful space. And you can keep this sense of calm
- 8:32:01Speaker 5: for as long.
- 8:32:01Speaker 12: As you choose.
- 8:32:10Speaker 5: If you choose to drift on into a deep, healing,
- 8:32:17Speaker 5: natural sleep.
- 8:32:19Speaker 12: Then you can do that.
- 8:32:23Speaker 5: It's completely up to you, and you can keep this
- 8:32:32Speaker 5: feeling of calmness physically meaning your mind, as long as
- 8:32:39Speaker 5: you choose to feel completely relaxed, completely relaxed. I'd like
- 8:32:56Speaker 5: you to make up your mind that you're going to relax,
- 8:33:10Speaker 5: and I want to explore that with you. What it
- 8:33:13Speaker 5: feels like when you actually decide that you're going to relax,
- 8:33:22Speaker 5: not forcing yourself, but giving yourself that. Yes, it is
- 8:33:29Speaker 5: a command, really, isn't it. When you're telling yourself relax
- 8:33:36Speaker 5: in a gentle but firm way, that only you can
- 8:33:42Speaker 5: really tell yourself in that way. You can't really have
- 8:33:47Speaker 5: someone else saying to you, now it relax, relax, you know,
- 8:33:52Speaker 5: and it needs to be gentle. But you can't someone
- 8:33:56Speaker 5: else can't really have the same the same kind of
- 8:34:03Speaker 5: influence or power that you have over your own physicality,
- 8:34:13Speaker 5: over how you feel, because when you say it to yourself,
- 8:34:24Speaker 5: it means more. It's personal, and your brain and your
- 8:34:31Speaker 5: unconscious mind and your body listens to what you say. So,
- 8:34:39Speaker 5: for example, we'll test it out and do a little test.
- 8:34:43Speaker 5: I do you little tests along the way, and you
- 8:34:46Speaker 5: can get more of an idea of the force, the
- 8:34:52Speaker 5: positive force that you can have in creating the sense
- 8:34:59Speaker 5: of comfort and relaxation in your body and your mind
- 8:35:04Speaker 5: quite quickly.
- 8:35:07Speaker 4: Just by you.
- 8:35:09Speaker 5: Telling yourself to relax. So I'm going to start by
- 8:35:19Speaker 5: it's focus on your hands. To focus on your hands
- 8:35:25Speaker 5: and just tell your hands to relax, and just say relax.
- 8:35:32Speaker 5: As you focus on.
- 8:35:33Speaker 12: Your hands, you could say.
- 8:35:37Speaker 5: My hands are relaxed, or I want my hands to relax.
- 8:35:43Speaker 5: But I think if you actually do it directly by
- 8:35:48Speaker 5: focusing and imagining that your hands can hear what you're saying,
- 8:35:54Speaker 5: you know they've got little ears, which is a little weird.
- 8:36:00Speaker 5: So talking to your hands and just say relax, you know,
- 8:36:10Speaker 5: disin now your hands start to relax. Now focus on
- 8:36:32Speaker 5: your eyes and tell your eyes to relax. You just
- 8:36:36Speaker 5: say in the same word relax and find the right
- 8:36:42Speaker 5: tone for you. You know, I might say relax, but
- 8:36:49Speaker 5: you you might say relax or relax. You know, you
- 8:36:57Speaker 5: might say it differently to yourself, and that's important for
- 8:37:04Speaker 5: you to gauge what feels right for you. To just
- 8:37:10Speaker 5: tell your eyes to relax whilst focusing on your eyes,
- 8:37:15Speaker 5: your eyelids, the muscles around your eyes, your eyebrows, and
- 8:37:20Speaker 5: just tell your eyes directly relax now. Now, I just
- 8:37:56Speaker 5: did that myself. And sometimes you may feel that.
- 8:38:06Speaker 15: You need a bit more time.
- 8:38:10Speaker 5: For the different parts to relax, you know, because I
- 8:38:13Speaker 5: start talking again and maybe that part hasn't relaxed fully.
- 8:38:19Speaker 5: But what happened is that it would just continue to relax.
- 8:38:22Speaker 12: Even though I'm talking.
- 8:38:25Speaker 5: And that's happening with my eyes. Something else I noticed
- 8:38:31Speaker 5: is when I started focusing on my eyes, that actually
- 8:38:36Speaker 5: almost became They got worse before they got better in
- 8:38:39Speaker 5: a way. So I felt a degree of tension growing
- 8:38:43Speaker 5: in my eyes and then disappearing. So I think what
- 8:38:49Speaker 5: that was really is just me becoming more aware of
- 8:38:54Speaker 5: the tension that was already there.
- 8:38:57Speaker 12: But I wasn't. I wasn't folks on the people, so
- 8:39:02Speaker 12: I wasn't.
- 8:39:02Speaker 5: Really acknowledging it or really conscious to those feelings. Yeah,
- 8:39:21Speaker 5: my eyes is still continuing to relax, as well as
- 8:39:24Speaker 5: my hands. Actually, my hands have got a certain kind
- 8:39:30Speaker 5: of energy, like not buzzing, but I can kind of.
- 8:39:39Speaker 12: Fuel a degree with energy in my hands.
- 8:39:44Speaker 5: Maybe that's where the tension is being released.
- 8:39:48Speaker 12: Maybe that's the cause of that.
- 8:39:57Speaker 5: The next part, I think we should focus on the
- 8:39:59Speaker 5: back of the That's a part which is quite often
- 8:40:04Speaker 5: well for me, holds tension. I don't know about it
- 8:40:06Speaker 5: for yourself, but I think it's quite a standard place
- 8:40:11Speaker 5: where tension is sometimes held. So, and I'm doing it
- 8:40:18Speaker 5: exactly what you're doing as you do it as well,
- 8:40:21Speaker 5: So I'm telling my body parts to relax as well.
- 8:40:26Speaker 5: So if you tell your neck the back of your neck,
- 8:40:28Speaker 5: focus on the back of your neck and just say
- 8:40:34Speaker 5: relax in your own words, in your own tone, in
- 8:40:38Speaker 5: your own voice. You can say out loud, or you
- 8:40:41Speaker 5: can just say it to yourself internally. But you're focusing
- 8:40:46Speaker 5: and you're saying it literally to the.
- 8:40:50Speaker 12: Back of your neck, as if the back of your
- 8:40:52Speaker 12: neck can actually hear what you're seeing. So do that now,
- 8:41:00Speaker 12: say legs to bag your neck, and I'll do the same.
- 8:41:43Speaker 5: And what I noticed and you made that similar thing. Yes,
- 8:41:49Speaker 5: even those focusing.
- 8:41:51Speaker 15: On the back of the neck, other parts started to.
- 8:42:02Speaker 5: I don't know, showed themselves to me or maybe because
- 8:42:06Speaker 5: they want to be relaxed as well. But I started
- 8:42:09Speaker 5: noticing the feelings in my shoulders, attension in my shoulders
- 8:42:13Speaker 5: and in my upper back. Whether that was because my
- 8:42:21Speaker 5: back of my neck was saying and I'm pretty much okay,
- 8:42:26Speaker 5: it's the other parts that need attention, But my lobe,
- 8:42:36Speaker 5: my back of my neck is still relaxing. But I
- 8:42:40Speaker 5: just became more aware of other parts that needed attention. Now,
- 8:42:46Speaker 5: this might happen, and it's not. It doesn't mean that
- 8:42:51Speaker 5: it's going any wrong.
- 8:42:53Speaker 12: It just means you're.
- 8:42:54Speaker 5: Being notified of more places.
- 8:42:59Speaker 12: But also, who wants to feel relaxed.
- 8:43:04Speaker 5: So I'm going to focus on my upper.
- 8:43:07Speaker 12: Back So you can do the same, even if you
- 8:43:12Speaker 12: don't have any.
- 8:43:14Speaker 5: Feelings of tension that obvious in your upper back.
- 8:43:20Speaker 12: If you just.
- 8:43:20Speaker 5: Focus on your back and the whole area from the
- 8:43:25Speaker 5: shoulder blades down to the middle of your back and
- 8:43:30Speaker 5: your spine, and with me, it's more the shoulder blades
- 8:43:35Speaker 5: are more.
- 8:43:40Speaker 12: Yeah, that's the parts that really sort of giving me
- 8:43:47Speaker 12: the nod.
- 8:43:49Speaker 5: That you need to relax in the souls.
- 8:43:51Speaker 12: Going to ask that part to relax, and you can
- 8:43:55Speaker 12: do the same.
- 8:43:55Speaker 5: Now, relapsed upper back. There's something strange happened there, And
- 8:44:23Speaker 5: this often happens.
- 8:44:25Speaker 12: I've been doing this for.
- 8:44:29Speaker 5: For sixteen years or something, and often I'm one surprised
- 8:44:36Speaker 5: but amazed, really bad. There can be a feeling. So
- 8:44:43Speaker 5: when I was focusing on the back of my neck,
- 8:44:46Speaker 5: my upper back was starting to feel quite stressed and
- 8:44:51Speaker 5: in need of attention. As soon as I started talking
- 8:44:57Speaker 5: to you about my upper back and talking about, you know,
- 8:45:02Speaker 5: getting ready to ask the other bank to relax, why
- 8:45:07Speaker 5: the back already started to relax. It's almost as if
- 8:45:13Speaker 5: it doesn't need to hear the words, just needs attention,
- 8:45:23Speaker 5: just needs to be noticed. And that is something that
- 8:45:35Speaker 5: often happens in this type of situation, is when you
- 8:45:42Speaker 5: start to relax a couple of parts of your body,
- 8:45:48Speaker 5: as we've done with our hands, the eyes and the eyelids,
- 8:45:55Speaker 5: and now back of.
- 8:45:57Speaker 12: The neck, top of the back, at the back.
- 8:46:06Speaker 5: The rest of the body seems to just take notice
- 8:46:13Speaker 5: and decide in its own way to start relaxing. Other
- 8:46:21Speaker 5: parts of your body start to just become looser. I
- 8:46:31Speaker 5: suppose it's kind of like a bit of an avalanche,
- 8:46:34Speaker 5: you know, the little ball starts rolling and before you
- 8:46:39Speaker 5: know it, the whole of your body is completely relaxed
- 8:46:42Speaker 5: and can't And if you focus on your face, you
- 8:46:58Speaker 5: focus on your eye, is the eyelids, your eyebrows, and
- 8:47:06Speaker 5: the muscles around your eyes. Maybe you start to notice
- 8:47:15Speaker 5: that your forehead is more relaxed than it was. Maybe
- 8:47:21Speaker 5: your face is more relaxed. I would say my entire
- 8:47:27Speaker 5: face is a lot more relaxed than it was. So
- 8:47:42Speaker 5: we're going to focus now on your shoulders the game,
- 8:47:48Speaker 5: just like before. Just to your shoulders and.
- 8:47:53Speaker 12: You can do them with the digit.
- 8:47:54Speaker 5: You can do the right shoulder and the shoulder.
- 8:47:58Speaker 12: I just can't do both of the same time.
- 8:48:02Speaker 5: Just tell your shoulders as you focus on them in
- 8:48:05Speaker 5: your mind, focus on how you feel. Maybe you can
- 8:48:12Speaker 5: see them in your mind's eye. Just tell your shoulders
- 8:48:22Speaker 5: to relax as nice as they relax, but I don't notice.
- 8:49:16Speaker 5: I mean, especially with my back, is the connection between
- 8:49:23Speaker 5: the different parts, the back, the shoulders, the neck being
- 8:49:33Speaker 5: all connected and being such a large part of your body,
- 8:49:41Speaker 5: it's almost hard to separate them from each other. And
- 8:49:49Speaker 5: my lower back is starting to relax.
- 8:49:52Speaker 12: On the same maybe I'm going to and that could
- 8:50:03Speaker 12: be an issue.
- 8:50:04Speaker 5: Because we all go at different speeds. And the idea
- 8:50:11Speaker 5: at the beginning of this recording was for you to
- 8:50:14Speaker 5: be able to just say to yourself, relax without focusing
- 8:50:30Speaker 5: on any particular part of your body. Because when you
- 8:50:35Speaker 5: know that, turning your hands to relax and your hands relax,
- 8:50:49Speaker 5: you tell your eyelids and your eyes, the muscles around
- 8:50:56Speaker 5: your eyes and your eyebrows to relax, and they relax,
- 8:51:11Speaker 5: until the back of your neck to relax and relaxes,
- 8:51:31Speaker 5: until you up back.
- 8:51:39Speaker 1: To relax.
- 8:51:50Speaker 5: And do relaxes, until your s odice to relax, and
- 8:52:13Speaker 5: they relaxed. You told your hands to relax, they relaxed, and.
- 8:52:42Speaker 12: They continued.
- 8:52:45Speaker 5: To relax, and you told your eyelids, the muscles around
- 8:52:56Speaker 5: your eyes, your eyebrows to act. They relaxed.
- 8:53:06Speaker 12: And continued to relax, And you told at the back
- 8:53:17Speaker 12: of your neck. W this on the back of your
- 8:53:20Speaker 12: neck and told it to relax.
- 8:53:30Speaker 5: The relaxed.
- 8:53:33Speaker 12: And continued to relax.
- 8:53:44Speaker 5: And you told your wull be back to relax. The
- 8:53:53Speaker 5: relaxed and continued to relax. As with your shoulders, you
- 8:54:10Speaker 5: tell your shoulders to relax, and your shoulders relaxed and
- 8:54:18Speaker 5: continued to relax.
- 8:54:30Speaker 12: And it's not just that, it's.
- 8:54:38Speaker 5: That the rest of your body has also been listening
- 8:54:44Speaker 5: and no relaxation has been spreading. So from your eyes
- 8:54:50Speaker 5: to relaxation, spread to your forehead, around your face.
- 8:54:57Speaker 12: Into your skin, into your jaw, into.
- 8:55:10Speaker 5: The front and sides of your neck.
- 8:55:14Speaker 12: I want way down your chest.
- 8:55:16Speaker 5: And stomach, relaxed, hands and shoulders.
- 8:55:28Speaker 12: It up through your arms relaxing and full arms, your upper.
- 8:55:37Speaker 14: Arms, elbows, wrists, let you go.
- 8:55:51Speaker 12: With lower bank.
- 8:55:55Speaker 5: The hips that exploit. Just start to relax or continue
- 8:56:04Speaker 5: being more comfort spreading through your legs all the way
- 8:56:15Speaker 5: down to your ankles, the tops of your feet, the
- 8:56:25Speaker 5: side of your.
- 8:56:26Speaker 12: Feet, and the bottoms of your feet, relaxing.
- 8:56:38Speaker 5: Into your toes.
- 8:56:43Speaker 12: Each tone relaxing, cal please.
- 8:57:06Speaker 5: And if your body relaxes warmth, your mind becomes slower
- 8:57:22Speaker 5: and peaceful.
- 8:57:31Speaker 12: That's the point where if you choose to fall asleep,
- 8:57:44Speaker 12: it can easily do.
- 8:57:47Speaker 5: That, easily drift away.
- 8:58:01Speaker 12: Because there's nothing going on in your mind.
- 8:58:07Speaker 5: The brain is peaceful. The body contens derives with that
- 8:58:49Speaker 5: connection between your body. Relaxing the word you say to
- 8:58:57Speaker 5: yourself relates means that you don't need to focus on
- 8:59:11Speaker 5: just one part. You can just focus on.
- 8:59:17Speaker 12: The entire body.
- 8:59:25Speaker 14: Saying the powerful word.
- 8:59:32Speaker 5: Rights. And there's a dudes, a mini sensations of comfort
- 8:59:54Speaker 5: spreading throughout your body, listening and calming and eating.
- 9:00:12Speaker 14: Every palm to your body, eating.
- 9:00:23Speaker 12: Last. So all you need to do from now on
- 9:00:42Speaker 12: is just telling yourself, riss, did you complete.
- 9:01:23Speaker 5: Starting now the number twenty nineteen eighteen seventeen six four, Ye.
- 9:03:53Speaker 12: You well.
- 9:05:00Speaker 22: Attatatatatatatatatatatatatatatatatatt sattatatas.
- 9:12:24Speaker 5: By one. So counted down from ten to one, ten
- 9:15:34Speaker 5: nine eight seven, six five four three two one. And
- 9:16:03Speaker 5: maybe that was a bit too quick in order to relax.
- 9:16:08Speaker 5: Maybe it's too fast for you to notice the calming
- 9:16:14Speaker 5: of your body, maybe even a little bit of pressure there,
- 9:16:21Speaker 5: Like you'll count it down from ten to one, would
- 9:16:25Speaker 5: you expect me to do man, expect me to stick
- 9:16:28Speaker 5: all with floppy just because you're counting down. If you
- 9:16:38Speaker 5: try it again, but this time, I'll go this slower
- 9:16:44Speaker 5: this time, and you focus on the whole of your
- 9:16:49Speaker 5: body before we focus on your legs. Just notice how
- 9:16:57Speaker 5: your body does stopped to feel more relaxed. Every number
- 9:17:13Speaker 5: that I countdown ten nine, at eight, seven, six, five, four,
- 9:18:11Speaker 5: three on, I just notice how how you feel, generally,
- 9:19:03Speaker 5: how your body feels. It's not necessarily even about yeah,
- 9:19:17Speaker 5: counting down from ten to one. It's that space that
- 9:19:24Speaker 5: you have, that space between being active physically or mentally,
- 9:19:45Speaker 5: just you know, sitting or lying down, just being there,
- 9:19:53Speaker 5: not doing anything, not saying anything, not deeding to think
- 9:19:59Speaker 5: about anything. So it opens up a space, you know,
- 9:20:05Speaker 5: the bit of the space, the gap. And the more
- 9:20:15Speaker 5: I camped down from the tent to work, the bigger
- 9:20:19Speaker 5: that gap becomes. So there's that gap of calmness, of
- 9:20:28Speaker 5: comfort and relaxation. It's a nice feeling, and it moves
- 9:20:45Speaker 5: those stresses or discomforts physically or emotionally, moves them away.
- 9:21:02Speaker 5: Allows you.
- 9:21:05Speaker 12: To just.
- 9:21:09Speaker 5: Slow down and someone to count again from ten down
- 9:21:15Speaker 5: to one, and notice that gap widening. The gap, and
- 9:21:25Speaker 5: this it widens. It's almost like that the stress and
- 9:21:30Speaker 5: attention falls into the gap. It gives you that distance,
- 9:21:49Speaker 5: that space. Now ten nine, eight, seven, six, five four three.
- 9:24:02Speaker 12: What do you do now?
- 9:24:18Speaker 5: Can you notice? Do you feel in calmer? Do you
- 9:24:30Speaker 5: feeling more relaxed?
- 9:24:57Speaker 12: As we now focus on your licks, just your legs.
- 9:25:17Speaker 5: You're just gonna start with focusing one of your thighs.
- 9:25:37Speaker 5: Of course, it's not the most exciting thing to be doing.
- 9:25:42Speaker 12: Because I'm sure like most of your body is not.
- 9:25:48Speaker 12: I'm not going on the way now.
- 9:25:59Speaker 5: Just focus on the hole of your thighs, the tops
- 9:26:05Speaker 5: of your thighs, the sides of your thighs, the bottoms of.
- 9:26:11Speaker 12: Your thighs, the outer thighs and inner thighs.
- 9:26:18Speaker 5: Basically the hole of your thigh.
- 9:26:20Speaker 12: That leads into your hip and then goes down to
- 9:26:29Speaker 12: your knee joints. Now, this is a big area. It's
- 9:26:43Speaker 12: a very heavy.
- 9:26:44Speaker 5: Area based wrong probably the strongest muscles in your body
- 9:26:51Speaker 5: and in your thighs.
- 9:27:02Speaker 12: I don't think we.
- 9:27:05Speaker 15: Perhaps give enough.
- 9:27:08Speaker 5: Attention to advise.
- 9:27:17Speaker 12: Perhaps we think they.
- 9:27:19Speaker 5: Could knowledge how important anthis are.
- 9:27:27Speaker 12: To our lives, how much they actually do to us
- 9:27:48Speaker 12: alter our lives and it may seem is that really weird?
- 9:28:02Speaker 5: I think that all of our body parts, especially advice,
- 9:28:09Speaker 5: needs some TLC.
- 9:28:14Speaker 12: I did love shame that nicely. Thank you.
- 9:28:30Speaker 5: Gratitude for what adviies do for us.
- 9:28:42Speaker 12: I don't know. This may sound a strange.
- 9:28:47Speaker 10: And they need to think.
- 9:28:49Speaker 12: Why am I surely how should be able in the
- 9:28:52Speaker 12: garden and hugging a tree or something. Oh, it's hard
- 9:29:00Speaker 12: to set a microphone up on a tree. That's why
- 9:29:03Speaker 12: I'm doing this in draws. Otherwise I would be upside
- 9:29:06Speaker 12: in a tree. Now I can't see the television from
- 9:29:09Speaker 12: the tree. You move down to your knees, getting such
- 9:29:20Speaker 12: an important part, and I think we don't necessarily I'll
- 9:29:30Speaker 12: speak for myself here. I don't necessarily appreciate all that
- 9:29:38Speaker 12: one needs to do for me until I have a
- 9:29:43Speaker 12: problem with my me. It's occasionally either may I bash
- 9:29:48Speaker 12: it or it's aching for some reason. It's then that
- 9:29:54Speaker 12: I realize.
- 9:29:56Speaker 1: How much it does.
- 9:29:59Speaker 12: You know, then, if I've been able to use my legs.
- 9:30:05Speaker 5: Without a kind of physical discontent, is a beautiful thing
- 9:30:14Speaker 5: that's possibly not appreciated until it's temporarily removed.
- 9:30:22Speaker 12: You know, that's confident, but as you focus on your these.
- 9:30:31Speaker 5: Regardless of how your needs and feel, you can have
- 9:30:36Speaker 5: better sense of gratitude.
- 9:30:41Speaker 12: And love to your needs for all they do to you.
- 9:30:54Speaker 12: We can still have that attention and advise. You can
- 9:30:59Speaker 12: notice how you buy is feel. Maybe you notice that
- 9:31:05Speaker 12: they are relaxing more deeply if you focus now on
- 9:31:24Speaker 12: the bottoms of your lex, the things in your card bottles,
- 9:31:29Speaker 12: the finals between these and think.
- 9:31:35Speaker 5: Incorporate.
- 9:31:36Speaker 12: And of course your ankles s wanted.
- 9:31:47Speaker 5: Anyone's head, even like the slightest sprain.
- 9:31:51Speaker 12: Of an ankle, and knows hell.
- 9:31:56Speaker 10: How much we take how are in course of the crime.
- 9:32:00Speaker 5: And it's kind of strange in a way when you
- 9:32:08Speaker 5: think that, you know, it's logically our.
- 9:32:12Speaker 12: Wrists are a lot of femer than the rest of
- 9:32:15Speaker 12: our arms, which is okay, it doesn't I can't see
- 9:32:20Speaker 12: anything that you know, just picking stuff up my ankles
- 9:32:28Speaker 12: so much demail than the rest of our legs.
- 9:32:38Speaker 5: And from that physics perspective, logical.
- 9:32:41Speaker 12: Even it doesn't really make sense that all this weight
- 9:32:47Speaker 12: would ultimately be resting on your ankles then legal to
- 9:32:54Speaker 12: your feet in the area in bad.
- 9:33:07Speaker 5: Yeah, it does so much great work.
- 9:33:11Speaker 12: Supports us, supports our body for a lifetime, helps us
- 9:33:21Speaker 12: to balance, helps you to get around and do my
- 9:33:30Speaker 12: while there's the cold musters. Of course, when I was younger,
- 9:33:45Speaker 12: I couldn't see the point in calf muscles. I didn't
- 9:33:48Speaker 12: seem to do anything. Okay, if they looked around on tiptoes,
- 9:33:54Speaker 12: then my clof usters get some work.
- 9:33:58Speaker 5: Of course that's not true.
- 9:33:59Speaker 12: You can't sols of being used whenever we use our legs,
- 9:34:09Speaker 12: and you should dare to protect with all legs, shape
- 9:34:22Speaker 12: them away the most as a protector for the bone,
- 9:34:34Speaker 12: leading of course to your ankles.
- 9:34:41Speaker 10: And your feet.
- 9:34:46Speaker 5: We're going to focus on your fink.
- 9:34:48Speaker 12: I'm going to focus on legs. I realized now I've
- 9:34:55Speaker 12: mentioned your feet, it would be and s problem anyway,
- 9:35:00Speaker 12: so maybe it'll shoot focus on You can have tons
- 9:35:10Speaker 12: the same issue. Have you a fies in your wayness?
- 9:35:15Speaker 12: Even though we have a bee focusing on your flies
- 9:35:18Speaker 12: with few words, both on your ankles, it's doll that sensational.
- 9:35:35Speaker 10: Kind of that.
- 9:35:39Speaker 12: In your bios How is that moms of energy because
- 9:35:51Speaker 12: it dies all lots of different sensations. Of course, there's
- 9:35:58Speaker 12: the muscles, be strong muscles and you can can out
- 9:36:03Speaker 12: byes with the skin on the outside of the lines
- 9:36:17Speaker 12: as in the outside.
