Firefighter Faces DUI Re-Arrest | Topeka News
A 20-year-old Soldier Township firefighter, Tristan Berg, was booked into Shawnee County jail Thursday after a DUI arrest tied to charges originally filed in June — including failure to stop at a stop sign and not wearing a seatbelt. Though the recent booking cites a BAC of .08 or higher (vs. “incapable of safely driving” in June), the core allegations remain unchanged. Held for two hours, he was released on a $5,000 bond — far lower than the $15,000 posted in June. Berg remains presumed innocent until proven guilty.
