- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous Podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Hey guys, welcome back to the Almost Famous podcast. It
- 0:09Speaker 2: is Ashley and today I am joined by Jared.
- 0:13Speaker 1: Hi.
- 0:14Speaker 2: Oh, are you so excited to be here?
- 0:16Speaker 3: No, I'm very excited to be here. But it's just
- 0:18Speaker 3: like my overall nature. I know, I'll talk about things
- 0:20Speaker 3: here we go.
- 0:21Speaker 2: Actually, let's start with that. Do you know how I
- 0:23Speaker 2: get comments on Instagram being like Jared doesn't look very well,
- 0:28Speaker 2: I'm I'm I'm happy, but I just have a I'm
- 0:31Speaker 2: very people hold on, sorry, people would say that about
- 0:36Speaker 2: my entire life, so you know what I mean.
- 0:38Speaker 3: When I was on people would always say that's true.
- 0:40Speaker 2: Like even on Bachelor, you were always like having that
- 0:43Speaker 2: look off. Yeah, you were just looking stressed.
- 0:45Speaker 3: I'm just very Henry cavill and Man of Steel, Like,
- 0:47Speaker 3: you know, it's very neutral.
- 0:52Speaker 2: So guys, if you see Jared on Instagram and he
- 0:54Speaker 2: doesn't look like thrilled to be on my can't run,
- 0:56Speaker 2: don't worry. That's just his arresting Jared face.
- 0:58Speaker 3: Also, I feel like the majority of the pop relation
- 1:00Speaker 3: to the human races like this, it's probably you know,
- 1:02Speaker 3: It's like I get it. You're very you're authentic, and
- 1:05Speaker 3: you're like very smiley, happy, go lucky type of personality.
- 1:08Speaker 3: But I'm sure a lot of people just fake it
- 1:10Speaker 3: on podcast. At least I'm not faking it.
- 1:11Speaker 2: It's true. Okay, So, hi, Jared's here. We were thinking
- 1:16Speaker 2: that we would talk about some stuff that you know,
- 1:19Speaker 2: we have going on, and then we also are going
- 1:22Speaker 2: to talk Bachelor headlines and a little bit of Jared's
- 1:24Speaker 2: opinion on the new style of Bachelor and Paradise. He's
- 1:30Speaker 2: really thrilled by it, actually, baby, I wish you had seen.
- 1:32Speaker 2: So he doesn't follow follow listen. Jared only watches one
- 1:35Speaker 2: show and that is Seinfeld. So and you guys, you
- 1:39Speaker 2: don't even understand. He watches NERD movie Reviewers on YouTube,
- 1:43Speaker 2: many hours of that and Seinfeld and that is it.
- 1:48Speaker 2: I could never get him to watch five hours of
- 1:50Speaker 2: Paradise every week. So but he watches in the background
- 1:54Speaker 2: like as I'll have it on. And Jared's really good
- 1:56Speaker 2: at watching things in the background. He picks up on
- 1:58Speaker 2: stuff because you know, he is a movie analyst, so
- 2:01Speaker 2: like anything that has to do with the screen he
- 2:05Speaker 2: has an opinion on, even if it doesn't watch it
- 2:07Speaker 2: like too intently, So I guess, like, let's start there.
- 2:14Speaker 2: When you were watching in bed the other night with me,
- 2:16Speaker 2: like you were taken aback by the stylized at it.
- 2:22Speaker 3: I think my overall perspective on Paradise is that it's
- 2:25Speaker 3: not it's not it's not Paradise anymore. It's not the
- 2:30Speaker 3: same show, and that's done intentionally, and maybe that is
- 2:34Speaker 3: for the best.
- 2:35Speaker 2: I don't why would it be for the best. Most
- 2:37Speaker 2: of the audience does not like this, according to polls
- 2:40Speaker 2: that we've conducted that other fan accounts haven't conducted, and
- 2:44Speaker 2: Tanner Delbert.
- 2:46Speaker 3: I saw Tanner's pose because I also don't watch Love Island.
- 2:50Speaker 3: I also don't watch a lot of these new dating
- 2:52Speaker 3: shows that are crushing it. So perhaps Paradise and the
- 2:56Speaker 3: Bachelor franchise does need to really change things up to
- 2:59Speaker 3: try to move into this new wave and be more
- 3:02Speaker 3: like these other dating shows. I don't know. All I
- 3:04Speaker 3: can tell you is when I was watching Paradise with
- 3:06Speaker 3: you the other night, it's very clearly not the same show,
- 3:11Speaker 3: and it's done very intentionally that way. In terms of
- 3:15Speaker 3: the way the cast is talking to the camera now
- 3:18Speaker 3: straight on, it's much more it feels like they're trying
- 3:22Speaker 3: to make it much cooler now with everybody, you know.
- 3:25Speaker 2: Everybody's supposed to be so sexy, there's nothing clumsy about them.
- 3:31Speaker 2: With the music Jill Jill brings a lot of realness
- 3:34Speaker 2: to it.
- 3:35Speaker 3: I miss just in terms of the the visuals, the
- 3:40Speaker 3: slow motion, the camera work, the music. The show is
- 3:45Speaker 3: not I hate saying this, the show is not very funny.
- 3:48Speaker 2: No, actually, this is what I wish you saw. I
- 3:51Speaker 2: was episode three because this is when the Goldens came in,
- 3:53Speaker 2: and you and I were both not super keen on
- 3:55Speaker 2: the Goldens coming in. They brought the old school Bachelor
- 3:58Speaker 2: in Paradise humor and a big It was just so
- 4:01Speaker 2: much more of a lighthearted episode. I told Ben, I
- 4:05Speaker 2: was like, I don't know if like they slowed it
- 4:07Speaker 2: down intentionally the edit or it just felt slower with
- 4:11Speaker 2: the older people there, But it definitely Episode three felt
- 4:16Speaker 2: more familiar to me.
- 4:18Speaker 3: Yeah, I think listen, as cast members of Paradise, we're
- 4:24Speaker 3: all very lucky to be there, and as much like
- 4:27Speaker 3: insecurities as I have, as everybody else does have, Like
- 4:32Speaker 3: in terms of the general landscape of the world, we
- 4:35Speaker 3: should be made fun of, you know, we've had. We
- 4:37Speaker 3: had this opportunity to go on this beach and to
- 4:40Speaker 3: date other people, and like nobody gets to do this.
- 4:44Speaker 3: My point in saying that is like the show should
- 4:47Speaker 3: make fun of us, Like they should show Ashley talking
- 4:50Speaker 3: to a crab or whatever you were talking to.
- 4:53Speaker 2: Like, oh raccoon. Oh no, I had the parrot, Claire
- 4:55Speaker 2: had the recoon.
- 4:56Speaker 3: That's right, and then like or like making me look
- 4:59Speaker 3: stupid because I say something dumb or things of that nature,
- 5:02Speaker 3: because it's funny, because we should be made fun of,
- 5:04Speaker 3: because it's all in lightheartedness, because at the end of
- 5:07Speaker 3: the day, we're so lucky, and I think a lot
- 5:09Speaker 3: of the cast members know that, so I guess we'll
- 5:11Speaker 3: watching it. They just try to make everybody look so cool,
- 5:14Speaker 3: and I was like, I get it, They're already cool,
- 5:16Speaker 3: Like I don't need you to try to emphasize that
- 5:18Speaker 3: they're cooler than they.
- 5:19Speaker 2: Already aready like in the ninety nine percentile of attractiveness.
- 5:23Speaker 3: That's what I mean. Like I kind of missed the
- 5:25Speaker 3: days even when we were on the show and the
- 5:27Speaker 3: show was making fun of us, it was I liked
- 5:29Speaker 3: it because it's just kind of like brings everybody back
- 5:31Speaker 3: down to earth a little bit, and it's it's just
- 5:34Speaker 3: funny and self deprecating, and there was a style to
- 5:37Speaker 3: Old Paradise. Now, granted, perhaps there needs to be a change.
- 5:40Speaker 3: Maybe this show is not made for us, and that's
- 5:44Speaker 3: totally fine. It's really whatever's best for Paradise. And so
- 5:48Speaker 3: my opinion is just that it's my opinion. It doesn't
- 5:51Speaker 3: mean that it's the best or worst thing for the
- 5:53Speaker 3: future of the franchise.
- 5:55Speaker 2: Okay, So I want to just fill you in on
- 5:57Speaker 2: what happened that you didn't see, which is when I
- 6:00Speaker 2: started to be able to ignore the style and focus
- 6:05Speaker 2: on the content. Was when Susie and Justin. You know,
- 6:11Speaker 2: I've rooted on for Susy and Justin. They've had a
- 6:13Speaker 2: very similar storyline to you and me. They'd be started
- 6:16Speaker 2: out as friends, two wonderful people, and we both liked
- 6:19Speaker 2: them very much, and then they came to Paradise as
- 6:23Speaker 2: a broken up couple. There was a lot of feelings
- 6:27Speaker 2: there and there was like a lot of love still
- 6:29Speaker 2: there and it was fun to watch. Now what happened
- 6:32Speaker 2: was I just I don't know, do you know what happened? Okay,
- 6:35Speaker 2: So it's really making the internet buzz right now because
- 6:39Speaker 2: Lexi was like kind of like she'd gone on a
- 6:42Speaker 2: date with Justin. They definitely had shown interesting each other.
- 6:47Speaker 2: They barely made it. I don't even know that they
- 6:49Speaker 2: made out. Remember that scene that you saw where they
- 6:51Speaker 2: were making out, because there was that game that made
- 6:54Speaker 2: them make out. That was like their only kiss. So
- 6:57Speaker 2: that shows you how serious they actually were. Not very
- 7:00Speaker 2: in my opinion, not very. She had a lot of
- 7:04Speaker 2: reservations about him because she thought he was too fresh
- 7:07Speaker 2: out of a relationship to be there. So what happens
- 7:11Speaker 2: is he feels so bad about Susie not getting picked,
- 7:16Speaker 2: like Susie didn't get a rose that week, that he
- 7:19Speaker 2: ends up, of course having the last rose to give out,
- 7:22Speaker 2: and he gives the rose to Susie so she can
- 7:24Speaker 2: continue there and he lives and she you know, he
- 7:28Speaker 2: had the rose, and then Lexi had to go home,
- 7:32Speaker 2: except for he was like, I'm going to give this to,
- 7:35Speaker 2: you know, Susie, and then I'm going to excuse myself.
- 7:37Speaker 3: That's yeah exactly.
- 7:39Speaker 2: He leaves. Yeah, people are angry. Lots of people are angry
- 7:43Speaker 2: at him for doing this, thinking that he led Lexi on.
- 7:46Speaker 2: And I was like, I think it was clear that
- 7:47Speaker 2: Lexi didn't want to be with him.
- 7:49Speaker 3: Dude. I saw one scene with kissing booth and she
- 7:53Speaker 3: said you didn't want to kiss.
- 7:53Speaker 2: Her and she was like, this is so awkward, so
- 7:55Speaker 2: not me.
- 7:55Speaker 3: Yeah, very clear that Lexi was not into Justin yah,
- 7:58Speaker 3: which again totally fine. Don't give Justin.
- 8:01Speaker 2: She's given him so much crap online, like.
- 8:03Speaker 3: I could, I'm team Justin, I know.
- 8:06Speaker 2: I was like, maybe it's just because like I know
- 8:08Speaker 2: him more, I know him personally.
- 8:09Speaker 3: Also, it's what's wrong with that move? There's nothing I
- 8:12Speaker 3: don't think because maybe if Lexi was into.
- 8:15Speaker 2: Justin, then he would have probably given it to her.
- 8:18Speaker 3: Or why can't they just try to develop something off
- 8:20Speaker 3: the show? Did he maybe talk to her about that, saying, hey, listen,
- 8:23Speaker 3: I'm leaving as well. You know, I'd love to like
- 8:26Speaker 3: see if this could happen away from Paradise.
- 8:40Speaker 2: Do you think that that was so you in this
- 8:43Speaker 2: situation that we can bring this back to Arcie's in
- 8:45Speaker 2: a Paradise you were in not really a similar predicament.
- 8:49Speaker 2: I wouldn't call that you were in a predicament at all.
- 8:51Speaker 2: You were like, get the fuck out of here. Actually
- 8:53Speaker 2: this is like, that's how I felt because I come in,
- 8:56Speaker 2: you don't give me that rose though, way yeah right, okay,
- 9:00Speaker 2: I know it's some sort of it's very similar. It's similar.
- 9:03Speaker 2: I'm leading somewhere. Okay, so when I come in and
- 9:07Speaker 2: Bachelor of Paradise three, I don't get a rose that
- 9:11Speaker 2: first rose ceremony, and because you chose to give your
- 9:14Speaker 2: rose to Kayla, it's okay, we don't have to talk
- 9:16Speaker 2: about that. What happens is it was kind of a
- 9:21Speaker 2: produced moment in which I was allowed to go down
- 9:25Speaker 2: there and be like, hey, I uh, I really like,
- 9:29Speaker 2: I'm not leaving. I'm not leaving. Basically it is exactly
- 9:35Speaker 2: an it, and I was like, can you guys please
- 9:40Speaker 2: like forgive me for being a hooligan. Well also like
- 9:44Speaker 2: they had no options for me. They had like literally
- 9:46Speaker 2: one single guy and that was what's the same from Canada,
- 9:48Speaker 2: Daniel Daniel. Yeah, And then everybody was like, yeah, sure,
- 9:52Speaker 2: that's fine. So basically Bette and I were being hypocrites
- 9:55Speaker 2: yesterday because we're always like, oh, we don't want to
- 9:57Speaker 2: see like produced moves, we don't want to see production
- 10:00Speaker 2: and you know, fingerprints. But then when justin and Susie
- 10:05Speaker 2: both get eliminated within and Susie's only on one episode.
- 10:10Speaker 2: Susie Evans, the winner of Clayton season only gets one
- 10:14Speaker 2: episode fan favorite. We were like, uh, we would like
- 10:18Speaker 2: some production here. Can she please stay? How can we
- 10:21Speaker 2: get her to stay? I thought she was saying, oh,
- 10:22Speaker 2: I'm sorry, I didn't clarify this too. She she said,
- 10:26Speaker 2: I can't accept.
- 10:27Speaker 3: This, so she leaves, and she left. Dude. That's when, yeah,
- 10:31Speaker 3: producers to be like, yo, you're going to accept it. Relax,
- 10:34Speaker 3: you're staying. Sus I'm thinking that they did it. She
- 10:37Speaker 3: seemed shocked when he offered her that rose. I think
- 10:41Speaker 3: she wasn't prepared and that was just herse She wasn't prepared.
- 10:43Speaker 3: But I bet no producer that now gonna think that
- 10:49Speaker 3: she Yeah, she would be, she'd say no, especially after
- 10:52Speaker 3: Justin said, hey, I'm going to leave. Why would she
- 10:55Speaker 3: leave too? Justin's gone.
- 10:58Speaker 2: Well, the thing is, Justin didn't at the podium say
- 11:01Speaker 2: that he was going to leave. It was when she
- 11:04Speaker 2: rejected the rose that he said I'm going to leave.
- 11:08Speaker 2: Because he had a milk down with Jesse in the room.
- 11:11Speaker 2: So you're saying that's his biggest flaw.
- 11:13Speaker 3: Well, this is it's kind of all stupid. Not the
- 11:16Speaker 3: people involved obviously understand that there's a lot of motions,
- 11:20Speaker 3: so they're going to make brass decisions.
- 11:23Speaker 2: The problem is Justin was like, I'm going to eliminate you, Lexi,
- 11:26Speaker 2: but I'm going to continue to stay here while giving
- 11:28Speaker 2: a rose to my exe.
- 11:30Speaker 3: I understand with one with one rose, with one rose
- 11:35Speaker 3: not given out Lexi, Justin and Susie all we're allowed
- 11:40Speaker 3: to go home? Yes, okay, so that seems a bit
- 11:43Speaker 3: It's like, we don't want producers involved unless it's like
- 11:46Speaker 3: extenuating circumstances, and this feels like an extenuating circumstance. Not
- 11:50Speaker 3: all three of you guys can go home. We need,
- 11:53Speaker 3: you know, either Susie or Justin to stay one of.
- 11:56Speaker 2: You two one of the two of them for sure. Now,
- 11:58Speaker 2: how much do we want to see the two of
- 12:00Speaker 2: them interact more? Because their conversations in the episode were
- 12:04Speaker 2: the ones that we were so drawn into. Of course,
- 12:07Speaker 2: there's so much history they actually did, and Joe and
- 12:09Speaker 2: Kendall were there, and you and I loved watching Joe.
- 12:12Speaker 3: And Kendall there. Who didn't That's I mean, we watched
- 12:14Speaker 3: the show for very real moments like that, and it
- 12:16Speaker 3: doesn't get more real than that. Yeah, you know, the
- 12:18Speaker 3: idea that Justin Susie were back together in Paradise after
- 12:22Speaker 3: a lot of history together being best friends and then
- 12:25Speaker 3: dating and then breaking up and then, you know, because
- 12:28Speaker 3: as we both know, experiencing breakups, like when you break
- 12:30Speaker 3: up with somebody, you're not just breaking up with them,
- 12:32Speaker 3: but you're breaking up with everybody that you know, you
- 12:35Speaker 3: became friends with. It's it's an awkward situation. So the
- 12:38Speaker 3: idea of reuniting those two after so much history on
- 12:41Speaker 3: the beach is very compelling. But I understand why one
- 12:44Speaker 3: of them would have to go home. I think it
- 12:45Speaker 3: was the healthiest thing for both of them. One of
- 12:49Speaker 3: them goes home, and I think that one would have
- 12:51Speaker 3: been Justin. Yeah, so I'm shocked that Susie is gone.
- 12:56Speaker 2: Well, so, I mean, it's kind of funny. This podcast
- 12:59Speaker 2: isn't meant to recap for somebody who hasn't seen it.
- 13:03Speaker 2: But what's really interesting is I thought, oh, here comes
- 13:06Speaker 2: the production move because Jeremy went on a date with Susie,
- 13:10Speaker 2: but he ended up giving his rose to Bailey a
- 13:13Speaker 2: day later. Bailey says yes to a date with Andrew Spencer,
- 13:18Speaker 2: and you love Andrew Andrew and now when he when
- 13:22Speaker 2: she does this, Jeremy calls. He calls Susie in the
- 13:27Speaker 2: interview room and says, hey, I made a mistake. I
- 13:30Speaker 2: want you to come back. And I was like, oh,
- 13:33Speaker 2: this is the way in, this is the way to
- 13:35Speaker 2: get Susie back, in to which she said, I'm at
- 13:37Speaker 2: the airport. I don't I don't think it's good for
- 13:39Speaker 2: me to come back.
- 13:41Speaker 3: Well, I understand why Susie wouldn't come back. Yeah, why
- 13:43Speaker 3: can't Andrew be the bachelor?
- 13:45Speaker 2: He could be? Put it out there, yeah, and this
- 13:50Speaker 2: so wonderful.
- 13:51Speaker 3: It's like Dale is fine.
- 13:54Speaker 2: You know who would make you happy to watch every week?
- 13:57Speaker 2: Andrew with his jolly smile. It's adorable.
- 14:00Speaker 3: He's just so endearing, so sweet. Yeah, why can't Andrew
- 14:03Speaker 3: be the bachelor?
- 14:04Speaker 2: You keep putting it out there. I think Dale doesn't
- 14:07Speaker 2: seem like an option at all. All Dale has to me,
- 14:10Speaker 2: it's a really pretty face. And he still to me
- 14:14Speaker 2: comes across as like am I wrong? And say, I
- 14:18Speaker 2: don't think he's a villain, but I think he's regarded
- 14:20Speaker 2: as a bachelor villain. Yeah right, I mean I don't
- 14:25Speaker 2: think he's a villain this person. I just think that
- 14:28Speaker 2: he's not regarded as like somebody that like people would
- 14:31Speaker 2: necessarily like.
- 14:32Speaker 3: I think he's just very straight laced, which is not
- 14:34Speaker 3: a batchel lace.
- 14:35Speaker 2: No, I think I think about him.
- 14:37Speaker 3: I've been watching I'm just seeing like.
- 14:38Speaker 2: No, Jared, I'm just thinking about his history with Claire,
- 14:41Speaker 2: Like I just feel like.
- 14:42Speaker 3: Yeah, and he's like what is he he's a model
- 14:44Speaker 3: now model.
- 14:45Speaker 2: I don't know what he does.
- 14:46Speaker 3: I see him sometimes I'll like be perusing Amazon for
- 14:50Speaker 3: like sports, and I'm like, is that Dale modeling this
- 14:55Speaker 3: shirt on Amazon?
- 14:56Speaker 2: Right now? It's not me having a It's just like
- 15:01Speaker 2: I felt that Claire was played, I guess, And I'm
- 15:04Speaker 2: always going to be a defender of Claire. Yeah, because
- 15:07Speaker 2: he proposed her, right, Jared, they were together and they
- 15:09Speaker 2: were talking bait.
- 15:10Speaker 3: No, I remember that. But they didn't leave boyfriend girlfriend,
- 15:12Speaker 3: they left engage. H Yeah, there's no shot Dale knew.
- 15:16Speaker 3: There's no shot that Dale proposed that moment thinking like, oh,
- 15:18Speaker 3: this is my wife. Okay, so that doesn't Claire is
- 15:22Speaker 3: the best, you know what I mean? So I agree.
- 15:24Speaker 3: I'm team Claire on that one, because it's like, bro,
- 15:27Speaker 3: you knew, like there's no shot, no shot. Sorry, I
- 15:29Speaker 3: don't believe you.
- 15:31Speaker 2: So that's why I feel like Dale couldn't be Bachelor
- 15:34Speaker 2: because there's just too much suspicion about there, you know,
- 15:40Speaker 2: just too much suspicion around him.
- 15:41Speaker 3: For me, well, it's for honestly, it's also whoever's gonna
- 15:44Speaker 3: make the best TV? I mean, at the end of
- 15:46Speaker 3: the day, of course, you want this to work. We
- 15:48Speaker 3: all want this to work. But like you know, the
- 15:51Speaker 3: most important thing is an entertaining product for the show,
- 15:55Speaker 3: for your guy, for you guys, for everybody.
- 15:57Speaker 2: So are we saying in this conversation that sometimes we
- 16:01Speaker 2: feel like production does need to make moves to make
- 16:03Speaker 2: great TV?
- 16:05Speaker 3: Of course, I mean, who's naive enough to think that,
- 16:08Speaker 3: like there'd be very little drama because it's one thing.
- 16:14Speaker 3: Here's the thing, and it's it's natural. It's very natural
- 16:20Speaker 3: for human beings when faced with conflict, to try to
- 16:23Speaker 3: avoid it, just avoid it. Yeah, exactly, like we would
- 16:26Speaker 3: walk away from scenarios if we face with that right now.
- 16:29Speaker 3: But it's like, so if what we want to see
- 16:32Speaker 3: just people walk away from each other and then like
- 16:35Speaker 3: cooler heads prevail later on. I mean that doesn't sound
- 16:38Speaker 3: very entertaining or do you want them? It's not like
- 16:40Speaker 3: producers like tell people to say, but it's like, if
- 16:44Speaker 3: you're forced to face that conflict, that is compelling stuff. Yeah,
- 16:48Speaker 3: and if you're not forced to face it, then I mean,
- 16:51Speaker 3: what do we watching.
- 16:52Speaker 2: The way that I always describe Bachelor, especially Bachelor in Paradise,
- 16:55Speaker 2: is that it's very much hunger games. Ask like you
- 16:58Speaker 2: are you have your free will in the arena, but
- 17:01Speaker 2: like there are people on the outside of the arena like.
- 17:04Speaker 3: Yeah, they're sending jaguars exactly, sending.
- 17:06Speaker 2: Things in Yeah, okay, well you know what, You're gonna
- 17:09Speaker 2: be so jealous of that. I just want to like
- 17:11Speaker 2: touch on you. They had this big ad integration for
- 17:17Speaker 2: I know what you did last summer?
- 17:19Speaker 3: I saw that do it and jessin Palmer do something together.
- 17:22Speaker 2: Oh no, this is like was like integrated into Paradise.
- 17:25Speaker 3: Oh that's cool.
- 17:26Speaker 2: Yeah, I know, like in the mirror. And then like
- 17:28Speaker 2: he went up to Welles and he was like, what
- 17:30Speaker 2: did I do last summer? And then like he was
- 17:32Speaker 2: like we weren't here.
- 17:34Speaker 3: Did somebody say, what are you waiting?
- 17:36Speaker 2: For No, I have to watch the original again before.
- 17:39Speaker 2: I haven't. I've only seen it once and it was
- 17:41Speaker 2: your nineties Ryan Philippi face yeah, great face, great face,
- 17:47Speaker 2: great face, great face, and great face.
- 17:49Speaker 3: Philipp is the man I know he did last summer
- 17:51Speaker 3: cruel intentions. I wanted to name one of our sons Sebastian,
- 17:54Speaker 3: I know.
- 17:55Speaker 2: And I hate the name of Sebastian.
- 17:56Speaker 3: Love the name Sebastian.
- 17:59Speaker 2: You only love it the because of his role.
- 18:02Speaker 3: Why do you love Dawson? No, I love the.
- 18:05Speaker 2: Sound of Dawson.
- 18:06Speaker 3: I love the sound of Sebastian.
- 18:07Speaker 2: Yeah you do. I know only the sound of Sebastian.
- 18:09Speaker 2: I think of the crab. That's like, you wouldn't let
- 18:11Speaker 2: me name it. Well you didn't. You thought Dominic the donkey,
- 18:14Speaker 2: and I think a Sebash and the crab. Okay, So
- 18:17Speaker 2: did you hear about the money being involved. Yeah, we
- 18:21Speaker 2: don't really know the money thing yet. There was teas
- 18:24Speaker 2: at the end of episode one, but it hasn't been
- 18:27Speaker 2: directly brought up again yet. So my thoughts is that
- 18:31Speaker 2: it won't be brought up again until the end when
- 18:35Speaker 2: it's time, you know, how like the week where it's
- 18:37Speaker 2: like you either break up or you get engaged. I
- 18:40Speaker 2: think now it's going to be you either break up,
- 18:44Speaker 2: get engaged, or get half a million dollars. And we
- 18:46Speaker 2: were joking and this is maybe like forget half million
- 18:49Speaker 2: dollars if you break up. Yeah, I think that you
- 18:53Speaker 2: have to. Yeah, I think you money. That's just with
- 18:57Speaker 2: the speculation, Jared. It's the speculation.
- 19:00Speaker 3: Use money every day and then you leave and then
- 19:02Speaker 3: you get to the person like, hey, let's go out
- 19:06Speaker 3: to a really nice dinner, dude.
- 19:09Speaker 2: That's what I said. That's why this isn't even gonna
- 19:11Speaker 2: make any sense. Yeah, it doesn't make any sense. So
- 19:14Speaker 2: maybe it won't turn out to be that way.
- 19:17Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, I just I don't like. My gut
- 19:19Speaker 3: reaction is I don't like the introduction of any type
- 19:21Speaker 3: of financial prize in this show.
- 19:23Speaker 2: It could be a big tease. There's so many false cheeses.
- 19:27Speaker 2: There was like in my season of Bachelor, there was
- 19:31Speaker 2: a pregnancy test that was in the cheezer that never
- 19:34Speaker 2: got address.
- 19:34Speaker 3: Yeah, but that's different than alluding to some sort of
- 19:37Speaker 3: cash prize at the end of this. Yeah, it would
- 19:40Speaker 3: be weird if they introduce that and never do anything
- 19:44Speaker 3: with it. I'd be it would be weird. So I'm
- 19:50Speaker 3: assuming money plays a role at some point. Maybe it
- 19:52Speaker 3: has something to do with the Goldens, not the we
- 19:56Speaker 3: that could be, not the younger cast, but that would
- 20:00Speaker 3: make more Yeah, give them the money. Yeah that kind
- 20:03Speaker 3: of I like that. Give them the money.
- 20:05Speaker 2: Hmm. All right, they passed.
- 20:07Speaker 3: Down to the grand kids.
- 20:08Speaker 2: Okay, sounds good. All right, well let's get into Bachelor
- 20:21Speaker 2: Nation headlines. Sam McKinley and Allie Joe, who we both
- 20:27Speaker 2: have seen already get eliminated from Bachelor in Paradise this season,
- 20:31Speaker 2: are sparking romance rumors. During the time on the show,
- 20:35Speaker 2: Sam went on a date with Jess we know it
- 20:37Speaker 2: didn't work out, and Ali was like kind of talking
- 20:41Speaker 2: to dyl and Jonathan and both Sam and Ali both
- 20:45Speaker 2: went home. But this week Sam posted a story where
- 20:50Speaker 2: you can see a woman's hand holding up a drink
- 20:53Speaker 2: and showing off her bright red manicure. That manicure matches
- 20:58Speaker 2: Allie Joe's and her instagram's story, in which she captioned
- 21:02Speaker 2: keeping the main thing the main thing, which Sam is
- 21:06Speaker 2: famous for saying on gen season, and to add fuel
- 21:10Speaker 2: to these soft launch rumors before going on Bachelor in Paradise.
- 21:15Speaker 2: Sam told Joe and Serena on Happy Hour the podcast
- 21:19Speaker 2: that he wanted to see Ali Joe there, I would say,
- 21:23Speaker 2: this is a thing.
- 21:24Speaker 3: You know what all I can think about while you're
- 21:26Speaker 3: reading the entire story, it's I I gotta get off
- 21:30Speaker 3: social media. I got I gotta stay. I gotta spend
- 21:33Speaker 3: more less time on this thing. Like I can't what
- 21:36Speaker 3: are we even talking about? What is this?
- 21:37Speaker 2: This makes perfect sense to me.
- 21:39Speaker 3: Great, And obviously I'm coming on it from a different,
- 21:44Speaker 3: whole different angle, and you are right. I am wrong.
- 21:48Speaker 3: I am on the almost famous podcast, like.
- 21:52Speaker 2: I think this is a this is a couple in
- 21:54Speaker 2: the making.
- 21:54Speaker 3: Yeah, great, cool. Yeah, But it was just like one
- 21:56Speaker 3: of those things like I was reading it or you
- 21:58Speaker 3: were reading it. I was listening, and like you see
- 22:00Speaker 3: a hand and then there's a real thing and then
- 22:04Speaker 3: keep the main thing.
- 22:05Speaker 2: We're doing online.
- 22:07Speaker 3: I was like, what are we doing? What? What not?
- 22:09Speaker 3: What are we doing? What am I doing? What am
- 22:11Speaker 3: I doing? Anyway? Congratulations to the new company.
- 22:16Speaker 2: Yes, get off social media and start watching more TV
- 22:18Speaker 2: shows with me, please? All right, So Alex Cooper's new
- 22:22Speaker 2: show Love Overboard has announced its host. We were speculating
- 22:27Speaker 2: this last week because we saw Gabby Windley's whereabouts on
- 22:30Speaker 2: social media and it was announced this week that she
- 22:32Speaker 2: will be the host of Hulu's new dating show, produced
- 22:36Speaker 2: by Alex Cooper's Unwell Productions. Love over Board is going
- 22:42Speaker 2: to debut on Hulu in twenty twenty six and Disney
- 22:45Speaker 2: Plus internationally. We have some friends working on the show
- 22:50Speaker 2: as part of this family, and it makes sense to
- 22:52Speaker 2: us as to why Gabby might have been picked to
- 22:56Speaker 2: be the host of this show because one the people
- 22:58Speaker 2: that we know producing this show have ties to Gabby
- 23:02Speaker 2: because aka, she was the Bachelorette and then also her
- 23:08Speaker 2: season on The Traders definitely like gave her a burst, Yeah,
- 23:12Speaker 2: big boost, big boost. And she's good with gameplay. We
- 23:16Speaker 2: know that, and so if this dating show has anything
- 23:19Speaker 2: to do with well love and gameplay, she is a
- 23:21Speaker 2: good choice. In the show, we're gonna see singles chase
- 23:26Speaker 2: a possible love partner while sailing aboard a luxury yacht.
- 23:31Speaker 2: The show synopsis says this, As the journey unfolds, romance ignites,
- 23:36Speaker 2: alliance's form and hearts are shattered. In the end, only
- 23:39Speaker 2: one couple will reign supreme. Who will rise to the
- 23:42Speaker 2: top and he'll be left stranded. I mean that makes sense.
- 23:44Speaker 2: It makes total sense for Gabby to be hosting it. Yeah,
- 23:47Speaker 2: combination of love and traders.
- 23:49Speaker 3: Obviously, I just go back to what is close to
- 23:53Speaker 3: us and it just, yeah, it makes me. I hope
- 23:57Speaker 3: I'm in the minority with this Paradise season. Granted I
- 24:00Speaker 3: haven't watched a lot of it, but I hope that
- 24:03Speaker 3: people are liking it a lot more.
- 24:05Speaker 2: What does this have to do with anything, because.
- 24:07Speaker 3: It just feels like, here we go another dating show,
- 24:11Speaker 3: Gabby's the host. It's by Alex Cooper, like streaming on Hulu. Like,
- 24:16Speaker 3: you know, obviously there's only so much attention span for
- 24:18Speaker 3: people out there, so it's like if there is a
- 24:22Speaker 3: big supply within this dating reality show market, it's like,
- 24:28Speaker 3: oh man, they're adding another show and it asks Gabby
- 24:31Speaker 3: as the lead, and like we know certain people producing it,
- 24:33Speaker 3: and like obviously we're going to support it because we
- 24:35Speaker 3: know the people that are working on it, which is wonderful.
- 24:39Speaker 3: But it's like, you know, I just hope that Paradise
- 24:41Speaker 3: is keeping up. So anyway, that's my thoughts, because this
- 24:44Speaker 3: show is going to crush it. I mean it's Alex
- 24:46Speaker 3: Cooper just like anything this woman touches is killing it.
- 24:49Speaker 3: Gabby's just huge right now, we know some of the
- 24:52Speaker 3: people working on it, and there's extremely talented a dating
- 24:56Speaker 3: show on a boat, and then also what Bachelors are.
- 24:58Speaker 3: But what Bachelor had going or for so long and
- 25:01Speaker 3: still does is the engagement. Yeah, like they have the
- 25:06Speaker 3: rights own. I think they're the only show that it
- 25:08Speaker 3: can end in engagement, really, I think so. I think
- 25:11Speaker 3: that's why no other show ends in an engagement. Wow,
- 25:14Speaker 3: So I think Bachelor is the only one that can
- 25:16Speaker 3: do that, which really separates it from other dating shows.
- 25:18Speaker 3: Having said that, because there's so many engagements that just
- 25:23Speaker 3: end literally months after the show, the engagement doesn't have
- 25:26Speaker 3: the weight that I used to. So it's kind of like,
- 25:28Speaker 3: is there a difference between people leaving together on a
- 25:31Speaker 3: different show or being engaged on Paradise? I don't really see.
- 25:34Speaker 2: It, especially since so many married couples from Paradise did
- 25:37Speaker 2: not get engaged on the show.
- 25:40Speaker 3: Uh, who else in Paradise you meet?
- 25:44Speaker 2: You meet Adam Raven, Kevin and Astrod.
- 25:48Speaker 3: Adam Raven didn't get No, wasn't it like on the
- 25:51Speaker 3: post show the after show. No, No, Yeah, who else
- 25:56Speaker 3: Kevin and Astrod, Yeah, they didn't get engaged, and so I.
- 26:01Speaker 2: Think that I might be missing I might be missing one.
- 26:03Speaker 3: Tannor and Jay got engaged.
- 26:05Speaker 2: Yes, I know, there's a lot that did get engaged.
- 26:07Speaker 3: But oh Becca, Becca, oh Koofer, yeah, oh Thomas Yeah yeah.
- 26:13Speaker 2: So that's four of like the eight didn't even get
- 26:15Speaker 2: engaged in the show. Actually had like sometimes fake breakups.
- 26:20Speaker 3: Well, I mean we got engaged in the show.
- 26:22Speaker 2: Yeah, let's not be too specific. It's just the stakes
- 26:26Speaker 2: that they put on make.
- 26:27Speaker 3: It too you know, get a lot of pressure. Yeah, pressure, Okay.
- 26:31Speaker 2: Moving on Lettia gar You know, as we know from
- 26:35Speaker 2: Grant season, she sparked engagement rumors throughout the past week
- 26:39Speaker 2: or so. She was celebrating a bachelorette party. There were
- 26:43Speaker 2: things that were like headlines with her saying she was
- 26:46Speaker 2: headed down the aisle. This past weekend, she in bachelornation BFFs.
- 26:52Speaker 2: They were united in Utah, and the gathering like had
- 26:56Speaker 2: put fans into just like a tizzy because they were
- 26:59Speaker 2: saying that they were celebrating Lattia's bachelorette party and we're
- 27:02Speaker 2: all finking, how did this girl get engaged so fast.
- 27:05Speaker 2: She met a guy and got engagees fast. We were
- 27:08Speaker 2: all excited for the hard launch for the with the
- 27:12Speaker 2: Fiance Fiance. There was a sign that said, welcome to
- 27:15Speaker 2: Latia's Bachelorette. And guess what it was all the lead
- 27:20Speaker 2: up for a brand deal with this this thing called
- 27:24Speaker 2: it's like a frozen like a popsicle. It's called true
- 27:26Speaker 2: Frew which you gotta get it. You gotta get an
- 27:29Speaker 2: ad with them. Jared's the biggest popsicle guy. Uh yeah,
- 27:36Speaker 2: so the brand deal, it was walking down the freezer aisle.
- 27:41Speaker 2: Huh you want to see it?
- 27:42Speaker 3: No, here she is, Yes, she looks great.
- 27:47Speaker 2: Well yeah, oh that's funny.
- 27:50Speaker 3: She goes cool now, yes, why is that? Was that
- 27:54Speaker 3: her thing? Come on now?
- 27:56Speaker 2: Just like so literally she was the front ridder of
- 27:59Speaker 2: the This is so funny that Jared doesn't know what
- 28:01Speaker 2: he's I mean, I know who she is clearly, No,
- 28:03Speaker 2: I know you do, but like you don't know the
- 28:05Speaker 2: come on now. So she was the front under the
- 28:08Speaker 2: entire time. It was so clear that like this feelings
- 28:10Speaker 2: seemed deeper for her. And then when he was breaking
- 28:13Speaker 2: up with her, she was like, come on now, come
- 28:16Speaker 2: on now, come on, she was just hilarious. Yeah, it
- 28:21Speaker 2: was a really good ad.
- 28:22Speaker 3: Good.
- 28:22Speaker 2: Now the question is how far would we go for
- 28:26Speaker 2: a brand deal?
- 28:27Speaker 3: I mean, what are you guys offering.
- 28:31Speaker 2: We would? Well, this is fun. This is not like
- 28:35Speaker 2: I would of course do this as a single girl.
- 28:37Speaker 2: That's so cute. That's a funny idea. Yeah, there's no
- 28:41Speaker 2: shame in this game, No, no.
- 28:44Speaker 3: Shame at all. I remember I saw somebody I know
- 28:47Speaker 3: post like give to Hannah Anne her pregnancy announcement, the
- 28:51Speaker 3: gender or something. She clearly had like product placement in it.
- 28:55Speaker 2: Really we have the same age.
- 28:59Speaker 3: And then somebody I know on Facebook, like one of
- 29:01Speaker 3: my mom's friends, like screenshot it and circled him and
- 29:04Speaker 3: was like, oh how disgusting And it's like yeah what
- 29:08Speaker 3: good guy? Like good god? Yeah, no, no, no, trust me.
- 29:12Speaker 3: I'm sure that if you were not offered Bunny to
- 29:14Speaker 3: post a picture like that, you guys never would obviously.
- 29:18Speaker 3: It's like, yeah, anyway, what if I guess.
- 29:22Speaker 2: The fun question here is would we fake a divorce
- 29:26Speaker 2: for a week? You know, trible in paradise headlines? Will
- 29:30Speaker 2: we do that in order to get a for a
- 29:33Speaker 2: brand deal? That you would have to be breaking glass
- 29:36Speaker 2: or whatever the heck, breaking the hell knows. I'm just
- 29:39Speaker 2: thinking of.
- 29:40Speaker 3: If Benny Brand has ideas for that, just reach out
- 29:42Speaker 3: to us and will decide that will we'll make the
- 29:45Speaker 3: decision the right how much money you willing to offer?
- 29:51Speaker 3: There's a price for everything.
- 29:55Speaker 2: Jared initially was going to say, like no, because you
- 29:57Speaker 2: wouldn't want to like freak the kids out, but the
- 29:59Speaker 2: kids wouldn't know, but you wouldn't want the kids to
- 30:01Speaker 2: like research us at some point and then like all
- 30:05Speaker 2: leading to a brand.
- 30:07Speaker 3: Yeah, as long as it was in h and tongue
- 30:09Speaker 3: in cheek, you know, I think, because you know, we
- 30:12Speaker 3: could talk to Dawson and Hayden later, like listen, guys,
- 30:15Speaker 3: it was it was a joke.
- 30:16Speaker 2: You know, Yeah, you get to go to college. It's
- 30:18Speaker 2: always the you get to go to college line.
- 30:20Speaker 3: Yeah, because we both I think Ashley and I both
- 30:21Speaker 3: have sense of humors, more so me, but like a
- 30:24Speaker 3: little bit of a dark sense of humor where it's
- 30:27Speaker 3: like we can joke about those things. And I do
- 30:28Speaker 3: think Dawson and Hayden Walls have a very similar sense
- 30:30Speaker 3: of humor because I can already sense, I can already
- 30:32Speaker 3: see Dawson.
- 30:33Speaker 2: Yeah, I can.
- 30:33Speaker 3: He's definitely a ballbuster.
- 30:35Speaker 2: Yeah. He already like looks at us with like a
- 30:36Speaker 2: side I know, and he's like.
- 30:38Speaker 3: I know that if we were all in the joke together,
- 30:40Speaker 3: it would be fine.
- 30:40Speaker 2: Yeah, all right. Well the final headline, Becca Tilly and
- 30:46Speaker 2: Hailey Kyoko get engaged in Spain after they've been together
- 30:50Speaker 2: for seven years. They started dating like the same season
- 30:54Speaker 2: that you and I started dating. It was spring two
- 30:56Speaker 2: thousand and eighteen.
- 31:00Speaker 3: Oh wow, yeah, well, first of all, yeah.
- 31:03Speaker 2: Congrarettulately congratulations. We're so happy for them. That ring is
- 31:06Speaker 2: gorgeous that I literally have. When we were at Tanya's wedding, yep,
- 31:11Speaker 2: I was like stressed by how like obsessed they are
- 31:14Speaker 2: with each other still like seven years in Like don't
- 31:17Speaker 2: you think that they like literally look at each other
- 31:19Speaker 2: the stars in their eyes. Still, I still look at
- 31:21Speaker 2: you like.
- 31:22Speaker 3: That, you know, not in a bad way, But they
- 31:25Speaker 3: come off as a very like of course they're madly
- 31:27Speaker 3: in life.
- 31:28Speaker 2: There are you kidding me? They're like obsessed with each other.
- 31:31Speaker 2: They like can't like let each other's hands go.
- 31:33Speaker 3: I could see I could see them like kind of
- 31:35Speaker 3: busting each other balls a little bit like couples do
- 31:37Speaker 3: when they're like dating five or six years, and you know,
- 31:41Speaker 3: sure like Hailey rolls her eyes, you know, like something
- 31:43Speaker 3: Becka does. But that's adorable, obviously, that's the whole purposeful
- 31:47Speaker 3: of changes love of alls as time goes on. Yeah,
- 31:50Speaker 3: Hailey's the best. I got to know Haley a lot
- 31:51Speaker 3: better at Dean and Kaylen's wedding and we really bonded.
- 31:55Speaker 3: I mean I was always friendly with her, but yeah,
- 31:58Speaker 3: she's wonderful, just wonderful. And Becca is uh, yeah, Becca's
- 32:04Speaker 3: just so down to earth. She really is a grounded person,
- 32:11Speaker 3: as you would say.
- 32:13Speaker 2: They're both just so special. Yeah, wonderful, they're wonderful energies
- 32:17Speaker 2: and lights. And I know that our producer Easton was
- 32:23Speaker 2: us already talked to the two of them on their
- 32:26Speaker 2: podcast Scrubbing In. So, Easton, is there anything you can
- 32:29Speaker 2: add from your episode that we wouldn't know from all
- 32:32Speaker 2: the headlines?
- 32:34Speaker 4: The two things that stuck out to me most. It's
- 32:37Speaker 4: such a beautiful story, but I'm trying to get through
- 32:40Speaker 4: that crying. I got really emotional of them there sayings.
- 32:42Speaker 4: But we asked, becha, like what did Haley say when
- 32:45Speaker 4: she popped the question, and she said that. Haley got
- 32:50Speaker 4: down one knee and said, I will always protect you
- 32:53Speaker 4: and I will always keep you safe. And just thinking
- 32:55Speaker 4: about everything that Beca's been through, with her being who
- 33:00Speaker 4: she is and coming from the world she's from, hearing
- 33:04Speaker 4: those words were really powerful to me. And then the
- 33:07Speaker 4: other thing I really really appreciated was that they didn't
- 33:10Speaker 4: notice at the time, but Hailey proposed on a nude beach,
- 33:14Speaker 4: so they're surrounded by just swinging penises. Yeah, they got
- 33:20Speaker 4: when she dropped Awndy, which I just if you haven't
- 33:22Speaker 4: seen the photos on their Instagram, it's they're so lovely,
- 33:25Speaker 4: but like just out of frames's just like a bunch
- 33:26Speaker 4: of naked people.
- 33:28Speaker 2: That's hilarious. There's so much emotion in the engagement pictures.
- 33:34Speaker 3: I think there's something very poetic about Haley and Becca
- 33:36Speaker 3: getting engaged while being surrounded by swinging penises. You know,
- 33:41Speaker 3: it's almost the perfect scenario that does.
- 33:43Speaker 2: Make some sort of poetic sense.
- 33:45Speaker 4: Yes, it really is. We're so happy for them and
- 33:47Speaker 4: I'm so excited for the future.
- 33:49Speaker 2: Okay, so what about the fact that Becca has to
- 33:55Speaker 2: now propose to Haley at some point, because that was
- 33:57Speaker 2: like kind of their deal. Right, that is.
- 33:59Speaker 4: Their deal's coming. And I keep saying, how funny will
- 34:02Speaker 4: it be if Haley says no, that's an option.
- 34:08Speaker 2: Well, we're so happy for them, and so is Becca's
- 34:12Speaker 2: best friend, Jojo Fletcher. She actually flew like twelve hours.
- 34:17Speaker 2: She said, she flew thirteen hours across country to surprise
- 34:20Speaker 2: her and they were only there for twelve hours until
- 34:23Speaker 2: they had to turn back around. But she's so happy
- 34:26Speaker 2: that they were got to celebrate at their little intimate
- 34:29Speaker 2: engagement dinner, just another special thing that Haley put together
- 34:33Speaker 2: for Becca. Surprised her with all of her best friends.
- 34:35Speaker 2: Once they came back from Spain. All right, well, Jared,
- 34:38Speaker 2: now it's time for our headline. It's not that you guys,
- 34:42Speaker 2: it's not that headlining. There was one headline. I was like, oh,
- 34:45Speaker 2: that's cool. So we are producing an indie TV pilot.
- 34:50Speaker 2: It's called Two Romantics, so it's like a rom com.
- 34:54Speaker 2: I'm gonna let Jared talk about it because he is,
- 34:56Speaker 2: you know, his goal in life would be to be
- 34:59Speaker 2: some of producer director, and this is like his first
- 35:03Speaker 2: step into that world.
- 35:06Speaker 3: So this production company called Madhouse Films reached out to
- 35:09Speaker 3: Ashley and I and they were producing a TV pilot,
- 35:13Speaker 3: a short film directed by this girl, Italia light Rake,
- 35:16Speaker 3: who had done work with Ashley before, which is why
- 35:17Speaker 3: they reached out. And they were looking for executive producers
- 35:20Speaker 3: to help finance the film, and so they sent me
- 35:22Speaker 3: the script. They sent me a pitch deck of what
- 35:25Speaker 3: the show would be about, how they would pitch networks,
- 35:28Speaker 3: what overall vibe was going to be. I got to
- 35:31Speaker 3: zoom with the owners of Mad House Films and Talia
- 35:34Speaker 3: as well, and I really fell in love with the script.
- 35:37Speaker 3: It's the story of a micro influencer named Sam who
- 35:42Speaker 3: has like little less one hundred thousand followers and then
- 35:44Speaker 3: she gets kind of like a little bit of a
- 35:45Speaker 3: big break. She's trying to be a musician, where this
- 35:49Speaker 3: influencer named Mac who's kind of like this, you know,
- 35:52Speaker 3: douchebag early twenties influencer trying to be a musician as
- 35:56Speaker 3: well now like make real music, ends up seeing a
- 35:59Speaker 3: video of her, he asked to work with her. They collaborate.
- 36:02Speaker 3: It's kind of like a will they won't they, But
- 36:04Speaker 3: there's definitely a little bit of a dark side to it.
- 36:07Speaker 3: And I really enjoyed the script. I thought it was
- 36:10Speaker 3: very smart. I thought, I think it's a good commentary
- 36:15Speaker 3: on today's I think it's good commentary on today's influencer
- 36:20Speaker 3: world and also public relationships. So I'm excited about it.
- 36:25Speaker 3: We got to go to set they filmed in New York,
- 36:28Speaker 3: got to be on set. I'm at a cameo, got
- 36:29Speaker 3: to meet the entire cast and crew. We were there
- 36:31Speaker 3: for the whole day. I think Talia is an incredibly
- 36:34Speaker 3: talented director with a great eye, and I really enjoy
- 36:38Speaker 3: working with Madhouse. They are up and coming. They actually
- 36:43Speaker 3: just got their first feature film to release on Shutter,
- 36:47Speaker 3: which is a streaming service. It's a horror movie. It
- 36:49Speaker 3: starts as Lily Reanhrt and a couple other very known actresses,
- 36:52Speaker 3: so that's very exciting for them. So Ashley and I
- 36:54Speaker 3: feel very excited about working with Madhouse on this. I
- 36:58Speaker 3: think they're a great company with a bright fewure. I
- 37:00Speaker 3: think Talia is very talented with the great eyesh I
- 37:03Speaker 3: think the movie's gonna look great, or the film the
- 37:06Speaker 3: TV pilot, so we'll see. Hopefully we against some film
- 37:09Speaker 3: festivals next year, and hopefully there'll be an opportunity for
- 37:13Speaker 3: streaming service to because she's So what's happening is she
- 37:17Speaker 3: Talia wrote this TV pilot filmed, we're gonna send it
- 37:22Speaker 3: to film festivals, and then she's also writing a full
- 37:25Speaker 3: season one of Too Romantic as we speak. So the
- 37:28Speaker 3: idea is to show off, uh, this short film. Hopefully
- 37:32Speaker 3: it gets a little buzz, and then we can go
- 37:35Speaker 3: in front of streaming networks Netflix, hulus On and so
- 37:38Speaker 3: forth and say, hey, listen, you know this is what
- 37:41Speaker 3: we're looking for season one. This is the beginning, middle,
- 37:43Speaker 3: and end. Are you guys interested in in, uh, you know,
- 37:47Speaker 3: having this on your platform?
- 37:49Speaker 2: So yeah, soo right now, we don't have a huge,
- 37:54Speaker 2: like day to day role in it. It's really just
- 37:56Speaker 2: word like just fine.
- 37:57Speaker 3: It's not like they're they're not sending me the dailies
- 37:59Speaker 3: or anything.
- 38:00Speaker 2: And yeah, Jared to make a little cameo and he's
- 38:03Speaker 2: very good at acting. And I just got to like
- 38:05Speaker 2: sit in the producer room for the afternoon and watch
- 38:09Speaker 2: them film a few scenes and it was fun.
- 38:11Speaker 3: Yeah, it was great.
- 38:12Speaker 2: So and of course, like I like it because it's
- 38:14Speaker 2: a romance.
- 38:16Speaker 3: Yeah, it kind of fits right into what Ashley and
- 38:18Speaker 3: I do, influencing and then also just this public relationship.
- 38:23Speaker 2: Aspect, which is why they came to us because it
- 38:25Speaker 2: made sense.
- 38:25Speaker 3: Yeah, so we'll see.
- 38:27Speaker 2: But very exciting, very exciting, all right, guys, Well that
- 38:30Speaker 2: was fun. I always loved doing an episode with Jared
- 38:32Speaker 2: every here and there. I love you and until next time,
- 38:36Speaker 2: I've been Ashley.
- 38:37Speaker 3: I love you too, and I've been Jared.
- 38:40Speaker 2: Bye.
