- 2:14Speaker 1: Hey, everybody, welcome to Conspiracy The Show.
- 2:18Speaker 2: I'm Adam Todd Brown, I'm Connor mcspadden and.
- 2:21Speaker 1: We have a guest today. You do what's your name?
- 2:24Speaker 1: I'm Travis Fucking Clark. Travis Fucking Clark from the Heart
- 2:29Speaker 1: Shape Pod podcast and others and others.
- 2:32Speaker 2: They said, They said Infinity War was the most ambitious
- 2:36Speaker 2: crossover events of all time. That was until they came
- 2:40Speaker 2: to Courtney Love half a month on Conspiracy the show
- 2:45Speaker 2: we are talking about Travis's contract is up, so people
- 2:48Speaker 2: think it's gonna die.
- 2:50Speaker 1: People have been thinking that for a while.
- 2:52Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:53Speaker 4: How many?
- 2:53Speaker 2: How many more movies are we gonna put Travis Clark?
- 2:57Speaker 1: Very few?
- 2:58Speaker 2: Have you ever been in a movie you do a
- 3:00Speaker 2: bit of acting? Yeah, I've been in a couple. Yeah,
- 3:02Speaker 2: what's what's your what's your? What role do you feel
- 3:04Speaker 2: like has been your your favorite?
- 3:06Speaker 1: Probably the when I played Travis the grunge rocker in
- 3:11Speaker 1: uh Punching the Clown isn't fit? Yeah, way to get
- 3:17Speaker 1: outside your company zone. It's like when Al Jackson played
- 3:20Speaker 1: Al Jackson whatever that Australian comics show is.
- 3:25Speaker 2: I'm playing Connor of the suicidal podcast host and the
- 3:28Speaker 2: new Zach Brafft Project.
- 3:30Speaker 1: Holy crap, did.
- 3:31Speaker 2: You see the Zach Braft like TV show about him
- 3:33Speaker 2: starting a podcasts. It's called like Zach Incorporator or some
- 3:36Speaker 2: dumb sh it like that, Alex Incorporated, And it's about
- 3:39Speaker 2: he quits his job to become a podcaster and he
- 3:41Speaker 2: starts a podcast that work.
- 3:43Speaker 1: Like it's episode to who him begging for his job back.
- 3:46Speaker 2: And like, dude, god damn it fucking stay out. I mean,
- 3:49Speaker 2: I stop representing me in media. I'm trying to be
- 3:53Speaker 2: a cool underground art guy. And then now it's lame.
- 3:56Speaker 2: Thank you, you have big bang theory to my dream.
- 4:00Speaker 2: Ah fucking Zach Brath. I love Scrubs. I I like,
- 4:04Speaker 2: I had no problem with Zach Braff and away here's
- 4:06Speaker 2: the Darton state, here's the problem.
- 4:08Speaker 1: Yeah, Zach Braff made a very zegeisty movie fourteen years ago,
- 4:12Speaker 1: and then uh has assumed that that's what he can
- 4:14Speaker 1: do now for anything. He can just show up be
- 4:17Speaker 1: like I'm Zach Brath. Support me on Patreon. Everyone's like,
- 4:20Speaker 1: you're famous. Fuck you. Yeah, don't you fucking dare support
- 4:24Speaker 1: him on Patreon.
- 4:25Speaker 2: Yeah, your bands, we will do a little check. If
- 4:27Speaker 2: you're supporting alex Ink on Patreon, you're out. Yeah. I uh,
- 4:31Speaker 2: I fucking saw this. Someone on Twitter made a robot
- 4:34Speaker 2: that wrote an episode of Scrubs based on all the
- 4:36Speaker 2: other scripts, and then Zach Braf did like a reading
- 4:39Speaker 2: of it, and I was like, well, what a neat
- 4:40Speaker 2: thing to do. That's nice that he took the time
- 4:41Speaker 2: to read that, and yeah, play for everybody, And then
- 4:43Speaker 2: I was I quickly had to rebuff my support of
- 4:45Speaker 2: the man after his podcasting TV show. Yeah, that is insane.
- 4:49Speaker 1: But my guess is that that Twitter bought script was
- 4:52Speaker 1: for people who subscribed and you know, put money into
- 4:56Speaker 1: a kickstarter, Like, oh sweet, I get to go sit
- 4:59Speaker 1: in a fucking room with Zach Braf What a what
- 5:02Speaker 1: a bonus?
- 5:03Speaker 2: That would be exciting. Yeah, I mean, I think it'd
- 5:05Speaker 2: be a nice cat to talk to. I never I
- 5:07Speaker 2: never get any kind of like shitty Hollywood vibe from him.
- 5:10Speaker 4: Really.
- 5:10Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, who knows. I feel like he's kind of
- 5:13Speaker 2: like the comedy actor Keanu Reeves, Like. I feel like
- 5:15Speaker 2: he's got a little bit of sadness behind the eyes.
- 5:18Speaker 2: You know, could be speaking of sadness behind the eyes.
- 5:22Speaker 1: Everybody show.
- 5:26Speaker 2: I was talking about this, I was trying to get
- 5:28Speaker 2: into it. Adam Kurt Cobain segue.
- 5:30Speaker 1: Oh wow, we are talking about my favorite, not my
- 5:34Speaker 1: favorite conspiracy theory, especially not since we covered if Elvis
- 5:38Speaker 1: faked his death a few weeks ago.
- 5:39Speaker 2: We're now my favorite. We are Elvis truthers.
- 5:42Speaker 1: It'd be really weird if he faked his death a
- 5:44Speaker 1: few weeks ago.
- 5:46Speaker 2: All the time I've been at this whole time.
- 5:49Speaker 1: Man, But oh no, feeling so good.
- 5:51Speaker 2: It just doesn't now how great would be fair if
- 5:55Speaker 2: you found it. Elvis was writing like extant songs and
- 5:59Speaker 2: ship like that was this thing now. He was just like, yeah,
- 6:01Speaker 2: you know, uh, you know fucking black beatles by Race Ram.
- 6:04Speaker 2: That was me. I ghost wrote that literally as a ghost.
- 6:09Speaker 1: I'd love it if Elvis was like, I really got
- 6:11Speaker 1: into coding. I made this Twitter bot that wrote the
- 6:13Speaker 1: Scrubs episode.
- 6:17Speaker 2: We're talking about who killed Kurt Cobain. By the way,
- 6:21Speaker 2: I for I have my priorities in life.
- 6:24Speaker 1: Correct.
- 6:24Speaker 2: I skipped therapy today so we could do this. Okay, Yeah,
- 6:28Speaker 2: it seems like the right move.
- 6:29Speaker 1: Right, Well, this we're doing we're doing two we are
- 6:31Speaker 1: you gonna stay for the second? We stay for all
- 6:33Speaker 1: of it. So we're doing two episodes actually, so Travis
- 6:35Speaker 1: will be here for the next two weeks. This episode
- 6:38Speaker 1: we're talking about who killed Kurt Cobain, and then it
- 6:41Speaker 1: was me.
- 6:45Speaker 2: And you cauld just much like how Puffy killed Biggie
- 6:47Speaker 2: so he could continue to own all the music. You
- 6:50Speaker 2: killed Kurt Cobain so years later you could do a
- 6:52Speaker 2: podcast about it.
- 6:53Speaker 1: Yeah, I was. It's a long con but it's worth it,
- 6:56Speaker 1: it's working out. Yeah, And then next week we're talking
- 6:59Speaker 1: about the in sane theory that Courtney Love is basically
- 7:04Speaker 1: a CIA operative who infiltrates upstart music scenes to cause
- 7:09Speaker 1: chaos and get everyone hooked on drugs. Yeah. Sounds crazy
- 7:13Speaker 1: when I say it, and then it's crazier when you
- 7:16Speaker 1: hear the actual support that supports all of it.
- 7:20Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 7:20Speaker 2: Nuts. I'm always I'm always retical to to call any
- 7:25Speaker 2: kind of woman in the public sphere, you know, a
- 7:28Speaker 2: murderer or or or a shyster. But it's like, man, dude,
- 7:31Speaker 2: something's going on.
- 7:32Speaker 1: But it's also it's Courtney Love, you know, like, you know,
- 7:36Speaker 1: there's not she's not. She doesn't get the same protections
- 7:40Speaker 1: as the rest. And she should have her own school.
- 7:46Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 7:47Speaker 2: Does she have a school. Does she start like the
- 7:49Speaker 2: Courtney Love Academy and you know, like, well, you know,
- 7:54Speaker 2: get into that ship.
- 7:55Speaker 1: She might have a fucking trained operative base camp somewhere
- 7:59Speaker 1: where she's she grooming young women.
- 8:01Speaker 2: Possible.
- 8:01Speaker 1: Yeah, but first, let's let's this week we're gonna talk
- 8:05Speaker 1: about the Kurt Cobain suicide or death. Seems weird to
- 8:09Speaker 1: take these out of order instead of going with Courtney
- 8:12Speaker 1: Love's history building up to this. First, we should got
- 8:14Speaker 1: to go with the event and then what led to
- 8:17Speaker 1: the event. I think it's in order. Yeah, we're doing good.
- 8:20Speaker 2: Yeah, we're pulp fictioning this thing. Exactly. Welcome to the
- 8:24Speaker 2: Memento podcast.
- 8:25Speaker 1: Yeah, if you hurt Cobain dies, we start these backwards
- 8:31Speaker 1: the right order.
- 8:31Speaker 2: Yeah, and then it and then it plays a message
- 8:34Speaker 2: from the devil who is also Kurt Cobain. I think
- 8:39Speaker 2: it's Zach Bref.
- 8:40Speaker 1: Dude.
- 8:41Speaker 2: That would be if I if I could ever like
- 8:42Speaker 2: get a thig where I had someone play the devil,
- 8:44Speaker 2: it would be Zach Breth because Glenn Danzig is not
- 8:47Speaker 2: going to do it, and that is my first choice.
- 8:50Speaker 2: He would be the best choice.
- 8:51Speaker 1: So most of the information from this episode comes from
- 8:56Speaker 1: the website cobaincase dot com.
- 8:59Speaker 2: Uh fun fact.
- 9:00Speaker 1: That is the website run by Tom Grant, who is
- 9:03Speaker 1: the private investigator who has been doggedly researching this case
- 9:08Speaker 1: since nineteen nine, since literally a few days before Kurt
- 9:12Speaker 1: Cobain died. He is the one who.
- 9:14Speaker 2: Has not gotten overgrunged the most.
- 9:16Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, he's really feeling it. It's always nineteen ninety
- 9:21Speaker 1: four to Tom Grant. Yeah, it seems that way.
- 9:22Speaker 2: He's really excited about the Sonic Youth remaster of who
- 9:26Speaker 2: you know.
- 9:26Speaker 1: He's he Back in the day, you could buy a
- 9:32Speaker 1: Kurt Cobaine conspiracy case file from his website, which was
- 9:36Speaker 1: a book that he printed out with one of those
- 9:39Speaker 1: clear plastic covers with like the plastic cranes on the side.
- 9:43Speaker 1: Special yeah, yeah, and then he would autograph it for you,
- 9:46Speaker 1: which come on, yeah, because you know, private investigator sucking
- 9:49Speaker 1: autograph Like I just.
- 9:50Speaker 2: Want justice, but for an extra five dollars.
- 9:53Speaker 1: He's like, I've got some fans, man, they want some
- 9:56Speaker 1: sign shit. You know.
- 9:57Speaker 2: That is kind of like Grant heads out there, who
- 9:59Speaker 2: wants some stuff. Whenever me and Keith Carrey go on
- 10:01Speaker 2: the road, we always end up listening to the Alex
- 10:03Speaker 2: Jones Show, and He'll he'll be going in this big
- 10:05Speaker 2: tirade about like what anti Semitism really is and globalism
- 10:09Speaker 2: and blah blah blah. And that's why if you keep
- 10:11Speaker 2: buying the toothpaste, we'll be able to keep the anti
- 10:13Speaker 2: medium machine running smoothly, and we can expose the lizard
- 10:17Speaker 2: goblins and then we can bring truth to America. It's
- 10:21Speaker 2: all about America, you know, and you're just like, wait,
- 10:24Speaker 2: so all of this was for toothpaste? Yep, you know
- 10:26Speaker 2: it's that that's the endgame here. I need to listen
- 10:31Speaker 2: to more Alex Jones. Given how much I can listen
- 10:34Speaker 2: to listen to any episode, I just always just whatever
- 10:37Speaker 2: episode of the show is on that day, I'll throw
- 10:40Speaker 2: it on when we're in the car. And it's always
- 10:41Speaker 2: the crazy. It's every episode is like you see those
- 10:43Speaker 2: highlight reels of like Alex Jones melt down. Every single
- 10:46Speaker 2: one is that there? That it's that every week and
- 10:49Speaker 2: it's so good.
- 10:50Speaker 1: And Connor fucking nailed it. Like just call up Connor
- 10:53Speaker 1: and just be like give me the rundown and it'll
- 10:55Speaker 1: sound just like the Sean Connor has a long history
- 10:58Speaker 1: of wrecking his voice on this podcast.
- 11:00Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I do. I just haven't. I haven't felt
- 11:03Speaker 2: that I haven't done him in a while. I haven't.
- 11:05Speaker 2: I'm just like I've run really any impression that I
- 11:07Speaker 2: do is like twelve words and then I just kind
- 11:10Speaker 2: of like mumble in between them. So it's just like globalists, toothpaste,
- 11:14Speaker 2: info wars, dot shop, liberals, you know, have like a
- 11:19Speaker 2: Hillary and then it's protein powder. He you got damn
- 11:22Speaker 2: right to have a protein powder. It's made out of
- 11:24Speaker 2: the bones of one Native American warrior kings. It's available
- 11:28Speaker 2: right now on info Warslife dot shop. And this is
- 11:32Speaker 2: the smoothing tasting curse that you will ever imbibe. Now,
- 11:36Speaker 2: I'm telling you you would be a fool not to
- 11:38Speaker 2: take advantage of our one time sale offer that's been
- 11:41Speaker 2: going for three years consecutively. Twenty nine nine nine gets
- 11:45Speaker 2: you one gallon drum of my Native American bone powder,
- 11:48Speaker 2: and you will be ripped to shreds, just like Hilary's
- 11:52Speaker 2: emails after you drink a little bit of this in
- 11:54Speaker 2: your morning coffee. All right, Now back to the show
- 11:57Speaker 2: Demon Alex Jones. Everybody, Oh my god, it's always my
- 12:02Speaker 2: favorite one. Is he as a coffee ad And uh uh?
- 12:06Speaker 2: Now we've been and there's like a there's like spooky
- 12:08Speaker 2: jungle sounds going on too the background, like yeah, you know,
- 12:12Speaker 2: and he's like, now we've been able to secure a
- 12:14Speaker 2: supply of shade grown Arabica beans. Go head on over
- 12:18Speaker 2: to info warshop dot life and pick up a bag
- 12:20Speaker 2: or two, and I think you won't be disappointed. We've
- 12:23Speaker 2: been going through back channel negotiations with al Salvadorian farmers
- 12:27Speaker 2: for decades, trying to get a stash of these special beans.
- 12:32Speaker 2: My favorite, and I'm sure it's gonna be your fan.
- 12:33Speaker 2: He's like, he's like a good, like ad read guy,
- 12:36Speaker 2: like you listen to podcasts, even world. Just it's almost
- 12:39Speaker 2: to be like, uh, are your underwear bad? You get
- 12:41Speaker 2: this underwear, they're better, you know, But he really, I'm
- 12:43Speaker 2: just and I'm like, shade grown Arabica beans. I was like, man,
- 12:47Speaker 2: that sounds pretty good. I don't know what any of
- 12:49Speaker 2: those things mean, but I mean that sounds pretty that's
- 12:51Speaker 2: like aff I mean, that's the secrets of the natives.
- 12:56Speaker 4: You know.
- 12:56Speaker 1: Coffee beans only grow in shade, so you can't grow
- 12:59Speaker 1: them in the sunday burn.
- 13:02Speaker 2: Yeah, a little bit about coffee, dude, They fucking he
- 13:07Speaker 2: just it's like all other coffee. But the fact that
- 13:09Speaker 2: he said shade grown makes me go, oh, this must
- 13:12Speaker 2: be special. Nope, coffee that'll give me the energy to
- 13:15Speaker 2: expose tyranny.
- 13:17Speaker 1: You know, totally just some bullshit. I guess we're talking
- 13:19Speaker 1: about a different conspiracy today, shade grown coffee. Maybe I
- 13:24Speaker 1: think it's just shady coffee because I just like, not
- 13:27Speaker 1: that great of coffee.
- 13:28Speaker 2: It's grown by a drag queen who's just like sash Away.
- 13:31Speaker 1: That's coffee on her. That's my queen.
- 13:35Speaker 2: I guess I don't know what that That was pretty good.
- 13:37Speaker 2: It wasn't It wasn't great, But you took a swing,
- 13:40Speaker 2: and I think that's okay. I'm not gonna swing and.
- 13:44Speaker 1: You better call it miss. Yeah I did so I
- 13:47Speaker 1: should point out, just for the sake of putting it
- 13:51Speaker 1: all on the table, I did buy one of those
- 13:53Speaker 1: Kobaine case manuals.
- 13:55Speaker 2: What dude, Hell yeah, man, I don't have it anymore.
- 13:58Speaker 2: I will do it. But I did buy one. And
- 14:01Speaker 2: all you got out of for his birthday is a
- 14:03Speaker 2: pack of Parliaments. I should have gotten them.
- 14:05Speaker 1: Yeah, it's my I've had a choice on brand birthday.
- 14:09Speaker 1: So far, I've gotten two gifts. One was a very
- 14:12Speaker 1: expensive box of cigars for my girlfriend and another one
- 14:15Speaker 1: was a pack of cigarettes from Connor mcspade.
- 14:17Speaker 2: I'm into it now. I just need someone to bring
- 14:19Speaker 2: me weed. I gave you a hug. That was great too.
- 14:22Speaker 2: I like that a lot. Yeah, our expensive cigars of
- 14:27Speaker 2: body context. Yeah, yeah, this is Travis smells looks like
- 14:29Speaker 2: it smells like a cigar, easily, easily.
- 14:33Speaker 1: So the thing about the Kobaine case website is Tom
- 14:36Speaker 1: Grant has since taken all of the information off of
- 14:39Speaker 1: it and put it in an old timey book that
- 14:42Speaker 1: you have to pay money to read. And if anyone's
- 14:44Speaker 1: ever listened to Heart Shape pod, you know not so
- 14:47Speaker 1: into reading books for these podcasts.
- 14:49Speaker 2: Depends on who brings us. Get to it, get to it.
- 14:52Speaker 2: But everybody loves Our Murder. That is the book that
- 14:56Speaker 2: he's been so.
- 14:57Speaker 1: A lot of this also comes from the book Druggs
- 15:00Speaker 1: as a Weapon against Us, which I've been threatening to
- 15:04Speaker 1: do episodes about ever since I discovered it. It is
- 15:08Speaker 1: a fantastic read. It's about nine million pages long, and
- 15:12Speaker 1: it's just about the CIA's alleged history of using musicians
- 15:17Speaker 1: and entertainment to sell drugs. And it's quite a read.
- 15:23Speaker 1: And that's all Tom Grant. No No, No, No No.
- 15:26Speaker 1: Drugs as a Weapon against Us is written by John L.
- 15:29Speaker 2: Potash. Is that his old John L.
- 15:32Speaker 1: Potash Drugs as Weapons against Us, the CIA's murderous targeting
- 15:37Speaker 1: of SDS panthers, Hendrix Lennon Cobaine Tupac and other leftists
- 15:44Speaker 1: like you, Connor, Oh, what me reading this book? Like,
- 15:49Speaker 1: I'm it's my birthday, so I'm drinking a beer while
- 15:51Speaker 1: we record, but also reading.
- 15:54Speaker 2: This book, Adam Adam is eight hundred years old.
- 16:00Speaker 1: But I'm also like, if you read this book, I
- 16:03Speaker 1: kind of feel like I have to keep pushing weed
- 16:06Speaker 1: and alcohol on people just to stay safe from the CIA.
- 16:10Speaker 2: Yeah, because once you start going now, let's scale back
- 16:13Speaker 2: to drugs a little bit. I mean, if I don't
- 16:14Speaker 2: keep fromanticizing my zoloft lifestyle, then the government's going to
- 16:18Speaker 2: swoop in and take my countryOn money away.
- 16:20Speaker 1: It's entirely possible. You both are shadow agents and not
- 16:23Speaker 1: even aware of it.
- 16:25Speaker 2: I've always wanted to be a shadowy so dopey, right.
- 16:28Speaker 1: The only thing that would be better is if I
- 16:30Speaker 1: was aware of it. That would be cool too, So
- 16:33Speaker 1: like the Born legacy. But it's just alcohol, It's just
- 16:36Speaker 1: boozing agents, only growing shadows. Travis, I thought you fucking
- 16:40Speaker 1: knew that.
- 16:40Speaker 2: These are shade grown dissidance. You used to overthrow the most.
- 16:45Speaker 2: So let's talk about Kurt Kobang. The first. You need
- 16:50Speaker 2: a populous uprising that won't cut out when you need
- 16:52Speaker 2: it to shade grown Arabian dissidents.
- 16:57Speaker 5: We've been doing back channel deals with It was just
- 17:00Speaker 5: like like like like Alex shows is at his work
- 17:03Speaker 5: a Panama hat and crouching in a jungle, you know,
- 17:06Speaker 5: while he's like like wearing like an eight button unbuttoned
- 17:09Speaker 5: mailman shirts.
- 17:10Speaker 2: Just like I've been able to finally secure the shade
- 17:14Speaker 2: grown Arabica beans.
- 17:17Speaker 1: So let's One of the interesting things that this book
- 17:21Speaker 1: and Tom Grant's book brings up is that it's very
- 17:24Speaker 1: possible that when Kurt Cobain died, it was not the
- 17:27Speaker 1: first attempt to kill him. Yeah, there's an interesting story. Apparently,
- 17:33Speaker 1: on May second, nineteen ninety three, Kurt overdosed on heroin
- 17:38Speaker 1: accidently accident. Oh good thing I did air quote that worked,
- 17:44Speaker 1: And Courtney Love, in an interview, said that after this happened,
- 17:46Speaker 1: she gave him prinorphine to.
- 17:50Speaker 2: Help you the best over of the drugs and it is.
- 17:56Speaker 2: It's a drug for treating opioid addictions.
- 17:58Speaker 1: And wasn't he in Italy when he overdose?
- 18:02Speaker 2: Sorry I thought, I know there's one where he tried
- 18:05Speaker 2: to overdose or he just did a shit litt of
- 18:06Speaker 2: Heroin after Courtney like joked about cheating on him. I've
- 18:10Speaker 2: heard that before from from a Courtney Love interview.
- 18:12Speaker 1: Jesus, Yeah, that's that's probably from the what was the
- 18:16Speaker 1: other HBO documentary?
- 18:17Speaker 2: Was it called No Soaked and Bleach is the one
- 18:21Speaker 2: that they put montage of Heck. Yeah, that was so
- 18:24Speaker 2: good and.
- 18:24Speaker 1: I think that's where that's because Courtney Love spends a
- 18:27Speaker 1: really different story of Kurt Cobaine's Last hold On.
- 18:31Speaker 2: I forget.
- 18:32Speaker 1: I'm trying to tell me that Courtney Love has a
- 18:34Speaker 1: different opinion that puts her in the center and paints
- 18:36Speaker 1: her in a good light.
- 18:38Speaker 2: I'm I forget who said it, but someone was talking
- 18:40Speaker 2: about montage of Heck and it's like, yeah, all this
- 18:42Speaker 2: old footage of Courtney Love naked, and he's like, I
- 18:44Speaker 2: would rather stare into the sun. Because from somebody that
- 18:48Speaker 2: was kind of Nirvana adjacent I saw.
- 18:51Speaker 1: I think it was in like an old issue of
- 18:52Speaker 1: Maxim or something. But they did a thing where they
- 18:55Speaker 1: had celebrities comment on photos and there was a picture
- 18:59Speaker 1: of court Me Love holding a dude's face to her
- 19:02Speaker 1: breast and like trying to put her tit in his mouth,
- 19:05Speaker 1: just like out in public and exhibit of all people.
- 19:09Speaker 1: His comment was, exhibit exhibit rise. I heard you like
- 19:13Speaker 1: fish tanks, so I put some fish tanks in your
- 19:15Speaker 1: Nissan exhibit. His comment was, I would rather have my
- 19:19Speaker 1: shirt pulled over my head and be beaten with a
- 19:22Speaker 1: lead pipe and to be in that man's position.
- 19:25Speaker 2: Bitch please.
- 19:26Speaker 1: Indeed, also too, I didn't know Nissan made an exhibit
- 19:30Speaker 1: the Nissan.
- 19:31Speaker 2: Exhibit fun Connor may spad in trivia. I did a
- 19:34Speaker 2: clinical trial for the drug that they now use to
- 19:36Speaker 2: stop people overdosing from heroin, for which I was paid
- 19:39Speaker 2: twenty four hundred dollars. And if you, if you need
- 19:42Speaker 2: some good loser money, I highly recommend clinical trials. Elaborate.
- 19:46Speaker 1: I know a few people who partake in clinical trials,
- 19:49Speaker 1: some of some of them make a good amount of money.
- 19:52Speaker 2: Oh yeah, and I wouldn't. I would still do them
- 19:53Speaker 2: if I wasn't on antidepressants. You can't be on any
- 19:56Speaker 2: medication or do any drugs.
- 19:57Speaker 1: Oh how long were you on this clinical trial?
- 20:01Speaker 2: I did six overnight stays that were all separate from
- 20:03Speaker 2: each other, and they just shot like what felt like
- 20:05Speaker 2: it was like like a bunch of easy cheese into
- 20:08Speaker 2: my butt cheek, and I just kind of had to
- 20:11Speaker 2: hang out. I slept in a room with a like
- 20:13Speaker 2: a Russian guy that snored really really loud, and then
- 20:15Speaker 2: like an x con and like another nerd, and uh
- 20:18Speaker 2: yeah it was it was. It was not great. You know,
- 20:20Speaker 2: it was cold. You had to have like like a
- 20:22Speaker 2: blood catheter in your arm. But I mean that's four
- 20:24Speaker 2: hundred dollars a day also too. Yeah, I love that
- 20:27Speaker 2: you might have been the placebo. And it's like it
- 20:29Speaker 2: really was easy cheese, Like there's well, yes, you got
- 20:32Speaker 2: you have both the and the real thing. Like someday
- 20:34Speaker 2: you wouldn't know, but I mean they'd be shooting stuff
- 20:36Speaker 2: into your butt cheek.
- 20:37Speaker 1: We got the control group. We call that the easy group.
- 20:41Speaker 2: I tell you what I have learned that if you
- 20:43Speaker 2: point your toes together, it relaxes your butt chee muscle. Shit,
- 20:45Speaker 2: if you get a shot in your butt, point your
- 20:47Speaker 2: toes together so it goes in easier.
- 20:48Speaker 1: Oh nice.
- 20:49Speaker 2: So kind of a fun fact.
- 20:51Speaker 1: Fun fact. If you have a catheter and a doctor
- 20:53Speaker 1: tells you to wiggle your toes, he's about to pull
- 20:55Speaker 1: it out. He's trying to distract you.
- 20:57Speaker 2: It was a blood cafter on my arm, not not
- 20:59Speaker 2: a My condolence is buddy, it wasn't fun.
- 21:04Speaker 1: So the the thing about this other heroin death, she
- 21:12Speaker 1: she said in an interview that she injected him with
- 21:14Speaker 1: buprenorphine two. That's something you have to inject. Yeah, well
- 21:18Speaker 1: she just walks around. Have you seen pulp fiction? Just
- 21:20Speaker 1: say she just walks around pulp fiction. That's all with
- 21:22Speaker 1: one of those things. That's the opioid epidemic right now,
- 21:25Speaker 1: people all over the country are injecting motherfuckers with but
- 21:29Speaker 1: in it's called in pulp fiction. It was adrenaline. It wasn't. Yeah,
- 21:34Speaker 1: but it's still it's it's still the same concept you're show.
- 21:37Speaker 2: So, I mean, I imagine if you're like a responsible user,
- 21:40Speaker 2: you carry around like an EpiPen of the stuff, you know,
- 21:42Speaker 2: I would.
- 21:42Speaker 1: Assume and uh yeah, Courtney Love the responsible one. But
- 21:46Speaker 1: the thing also is in that same interview, she said
- 21:49Speaker 1: she also force fed him valuum and tail and all
- 21:52Speaker 1: with codeine yep, which if you're overdosing on opiates, those
- 21:56Speaker 1: are the last two things. Like you might as well
- 21:58Speaker 1: pour whiskey down. Is voluum is gonna calm him down.
- 22:03Speaker 2: That's a valuum. Volume is isn't it.
- 22:05Speaker 1: Yeah, valuum, like you're still supposed to No, it is,
- 22:08Speaker 1: you're not supposed maybe some muscle relax rank, Yes, it's
- 22:10Speaker 1: a muscle relaxer vaaluum. You're not no people all the time.
- 22:14Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I have too, but like it can literally
- 22:18Speaker 1: stop volume. You should definitely have a drink or too.
- 22:21Speaker 1: It makes it a lot.
- 22:22Speaker 2: Have you ever wanted to feel super heavy? Yeah?
- 22:25Speaker 1: I had an ex girlfriend who was mad at me
- 22:27Speaker 1: for about three days after I told her I drank
- 22:30Speaker 1: and took valume at the same time, and she knew drugs.
- 22:34Speaker 2: And you're like, dude, this cracked article about the world's
- 22:36Speaker 2: craziest generals is not going to write it out. I
- 22:39Speaker 2: need inspiration from my muse is valuume and whiskey.
- 22:42Speaker 1: I had a girlfriend for three years who drank and
- 22:44Speaker 1: did volume the whole time.
- 22:46Speaker 2: So you know that's gotta be like dating a bean bags.
- 22:49Speaker 2: That sounds tough.
- 22:50Speaker 1: Well, when she was awake, we did argue, but when
- 22:52Speaker 1: she wasn't we really got along.
- 22:54Speaker 4: Well.
- 22:54Speaker 1: Yeah, so that's kind of suspicious that she fed him
- 22:59Speaker 1: these other drugs while he's in the midst of an opioid.
- 23:01Speaker 2: I'm really learning where we all like Nevada right now,
- 23:04Speaker 2: because I also dated a girl that did heavy opiates.
- 23:09Speaker 1: And then there's the Rome suicide attempt, which I think
- 23:13Speaker 1: it's uh.
- 23:16Speaker 2: The sublime with Rob Yeah, I can see it in here.
- 23:20Speaker 2: I heard the word, I heard the s letter cut
- 23:22Speaker 2: off your lips, and I was like, I'll do it.
- 23:24Speaker 2: So what does it have to I mean, I built
- 23:26Speaker 2: up a good amount of bomb credits with the whole
- 23:28Speaker 2: Alex Jones saying that was funny Shade Road, all right,
- 23:35Speaker 2: this is the premium product for stopping a drug overghost.
- 23:38Speaker 2: My buddy Rush, who I won't use just full name,
- 23:43Speaker 2: Connor's dying, all right. I get about two paragraphs a day.
- 23:48Speaker 2: And then it's imagine what real.
- 23:50Speaker 1: Alex Jones is like, He's what if I just wanted
- 23:52Speaker 1: him to be like, I can't keep doing this voice?
- 23:53Speaker 1: Why are you guys making me do this voice? Alex
- 23:56Speaker 1: Jones is Bill Hicks, Oh that's true?
- 23:58Speaker 2: Yeah yeah? Or Bill Hater. It seems like it might
- 24:01Speaker 2: be a Bill Hater character could be the best. The
- 24:03Speaker 2: best one ever is when he was like a people
- 24:06Speaker 2: calling me racist, I'm down there hanging out with black
- 24:08Speaker 2: people at the barbecue joint every day. They make the
- 24:10Speaker 2: best barbecue.
- 24:11Speaker 1: People shade grown barbe you.
- 24:15Speaker 2: Have it, using barbecue as a defense of his ideals.
- 24:19Speaker 1: Because if he said chicken, that would be racist.
- 24:21Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, that would be So he went with the
- 24:23Speaker 2: second most racist meat ribs.
- 24:26Speaker 1: So the the thing about the Rome suicide attempt, the
- 24:29Speaker 1: only person who really called that a suicide attempt was
- 24:32Speaker 1: Courtney Love his doctor.
- 24:35Speaker 2: There's actually we'll play this video. It's really short.
- 24:38Speaker 1: But calling it an accidental overdose, isn't that the same
- 24:40Speaker 1: thing as a suicide attempt? No intentional overdose? Yeah, what
- 24:46Speaker 1: this guy says basically.
- 24:53Speaker 2: Improving.
- 24:55Speaker 6: He's been hospitalized as the room mad English, the coma
- 25:00Speaker 6: and failure. Today he's a cooper from the pharmacology CA Coma.
- 25:07Speaker 6: You would know to their codeaus.
- 25:10Speaker 4: But the combined effect of alcohol.
- 25:13Speaker 6: And tanquilizer that had been greatly prescribed by doctor.
- 25:19Speaker 2: Drank Welliver, it's you don't know this part. It was real.
- 25:22Speaker 1: Hypno rufies are what Kurt Cobaine overdosed on in Rome,
- 25:28Speaker 1: and that doctor actually in the medical report says they
- 25:33Speaker 1: were most likely crushed up and put in the champagne
- 25:37Speaker 1: he was drinking. Oh so he didn't know any of that.
- 25:40Speaker 1: But that's if you uh, in all of the books,
- 25:44Speaker 1: all the Nirvana books that have been written, his reaction
- 25:48Speaker 1: after that when he wakes up in the hospital, he
- 25:50Speaker 1: was just like allegedly furious with Courtney Love and like
- 25:54Speaker 1: snatched his fucking uh like ivs and shipped out and
- 25:59Speaker 1: like she he is the only person who called that
- 26:02Speaker 1: a suicide attempt, which is really interesting to me.
- 26:05Speaker 2: Yeah, that's no good.
- 26:09Speaker 1: And so this is the part in history where Kurt
- 26:12Speaker 1: was depressed and suicidal the last month of his life.
- 26:15Speaker 1: That's where the story that that narrative comes from. Yeah,
- 26:19Speaker 1: and if you watch all of the different there's so
- 26:22Speaker 1: many fucking documentaries about this, there's so many books. You
- 26:25Speaker 1: do have people who are like, yeah, he was sad,
- 26:27Speaker 1: like he tried to kill himself. He's always dead, right,
- 26:31Speaker 1: But there are several people who say during this time,
- 26:34Speaker 1: and especially on that European tour, that he wasn't using drugs.
- 26:38Speaker 1: He wasn't like no, we watched those that was in France,
- 26:41Speaker 1: that was kind of like a month before, like he
- 26:43Speaker 1: looked amazing, sounded amazing, the band was together. Yeah, there
- 26:47Speaker 1: was no fucking it was clear he was there, right,
- 26:51Speaker 1: and that like his grandfather Leland Cobaine, who was apparently
- 26:55Speaker 1: the family member he was closest to. He doesn't think
- 26:58Speaker 1: Kurt Cobaine was suicidal at the time. His friend Dylan
- 27:01Speaker 1: Carlson said, Kurt Cobaine was not suicidal at the time.
- 27:05Speaker 1: Pretty fucking crazy.
- 27:06Speaker 2: Yeah, because I mean some of those like some of
- 27:08Speaker 2: those European tour videos is like some of the best
- 27:10Speaker 2: Nirvana videos.
- 27:11Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, oh yeah, this this these France. There
- 27:14Speaker 1: was like a it was in like a TV studio.
- 27:16Speaker 1: It's some of the best live performance I've ever seen
- 27:18Speaker 1: them do. Oh yeah, yeah, it's unbelievable.
- 27:20Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 27:20Speaker 1: They have a bootleg called Roma that I think was
- 27:23Speaker 1: from their show in Rome, and it's like the Nirvana bootleg,
- 27:28Speaker 1: Like the sound quality is great, the show is great.
- 27:31Speaker 1: He seemed to be in pretty And also remember the
- 27:34Speaker 1: stomach ailment that he blamed his heroin. It was eventually
- 27:40Speaker 1: diagnosed as a pinch nerve in his back and the
- 27:43Speaker 1: pain was just like wrapping around to his stomach.
- 27:45Speaker 2: So by this time he had even sorted that out. Yeah,
- 27:48Speaker 2: He's like, Okay, well this is how I'm going to
- 27:50Speaker 2: deal with this, because that would be that that had
- 27:51Speaker 2: been kind of the impetus for most of the heroin used. Right.
- 27:54Speaker 1: He he had by this time, by all accounts, stopped
- 27:57Speaker 1: using heroin because they had diagnosed his stomach ailment and
- 28:01Speaker 1: he was taking medication for it.
- 28:04Speaker 2: That took care of it. Jesus.
- 28:06Speaker 1: And it gets weirder on March eighteenth, which was after
- 28:11Speaker 1: he was back in Seattle after the suicide attempt in Rome.
- 28:14Speaker 1: What are we ninety three or ninety four? Now? This
- 28:16Speaker 1: is ninety five, this March eighteenth. This is right before
- 28:19Speaker 1: he dies. This is the weeks before he dies, like
- 28:21Speaker 1: twenty four years ago. On March eighteenth, the police were
- 28:26Speaker 1: called to the Cobain's home and Courtney Loves said Kurt
- 28:29Speaker 1: Cobain one had a shotgun and two was barricaded in
- 28:33Speaker 1: a room, threatening to kill himself. The police get there,
- 28:37Speaker 1: Kurt Cobain does not have a gun, just like the
- 28:39Speaker 1: song says, and they he tells the police he was
- 28:43Speaker 1: hiding in the room to get away from Courtney, and she,
- 28:49Speaker 1: in that same police report admits that she didn't ever
- 28:52Speaker 1: see him with a gun and he never said he
- 28:54Speaker 1: was going to kill himself. Wow, he was trying to
- 28:56Speaker 1: get away from.
- 28:56Speaker 2: Court She was just kind of like planting seeds, you know.
- 28:59Speaker 1: Yeah, shit, it's it's it's pretty fucking weird.
- 29:03Speaker 2: So yeah, when they they arrived around this time, Courtney
- 29:06Speaker 2: tells everyone that she saw Richard Gear with the gerbil,
- 29:09Speaker 2: you know, like she's just like trying to like create
- 29:11Speaker 2: these like rumors so that it sort of makes the
- 29:13Speaker 2: uh makes her fun.
- 29:15Speaker 1: They have his stomach pumped. It was weird. I heard
- 29:18Speaker 1: Jamie Lee Curtis there was in there.
- 29:20Speaker 2: He was going.
- 29:20Speaker 1: She was around saying, Jamie Lee Curtis really had a dick.
- 29:23Speaker 1: It was really I believe that, Yeah, this might be true.
- 29:26Speaker 1: So nevertheless, the police confiscate all the guns in the house,
- 29:30Speaker 1: even though Kurt didn't have one on him at the time,
- 29:32Speaker 1: and more importantly, they confiscated his stomach medication, which seems real.
- 29:38Speaker 2: I don't know what exactly he was slingshot was here
- 29:40Speaker 2: shooting big pills as like what is he gonna do?
- 29:42Speaker 1: But also to like stomach medication, like will they take
- 29:45Speaker 1: fucking tumbs or they take like like well, yeah, men's
- 29:48Speaker 1: prescribe something for once they diagnosed to what a steak issue.
- 29:51Speaker 1: I'm gonna guess it's gotta be some kind of pain
- 29:53Speaker 1: medication because no one's gonna take fucking peptel out of
- 29:55Speaker 1: the house. Yeah, you know, Yeah, I mean I guess
- 29:57Speaker 1: the thinking is they took it thinking if he took
- 29:59Speaker 1: an off of it it would kill him, and his.
- 30:02Speaker 2: Wife said he was suicidal.
- 30:04Speaker 1: So now it's March eighteenth, it's a couple of weeks
- 30:06Speaker 1: before Kurt Cobain dies. He's by all accounts, not on
- 30:09Speaker 1: heroin at this point because the stomach issue has been resolved,
- 30:13Speaker 1: and Courtney Love calls the police, gets the police there,
- 30:16Speaker 1: they take his stomach medication. So that's weird. Yeah, so
- 30:19Speaker 1: the cops did it. The cops probably did Yeah, so
- 30:23Speaker 1: I've heard this a bunch before. Also, around the end
- 30:26Speaker 1: of March, Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love start arguing over Lollapalooza.
- 30:32Speaker 1: I mean, that's a big nineties problem.
- 30:36Speaker 4: That really is.
- 30:37Speaker 2: Yeah, we got me and miss I'll turn up about
- 30:40Speaker 2: Lolla Tolza there but for the grace of God. Yeah, yeah,
- 30:45Speaker 2: that's that's kind of like the Dave Chappelle's day. I
- 30:47Speaker 2: think inside the actress studio, like they like, don't think
- 30:49Speaker 2: you're going to turn down twenty million dollars or fifty
- 30:51Speaker 2: million dollars in your wife's just going to be cool
- 30:52Speaker 2: with it.
- 30:53Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, exactly, And that's kind of what happened. He
- 30:58Speaker 1: decides he had been offered headlining Lollapalooza that summer, and
- 31:02Speaker 1: look in Lollapalouza came off of Lallapaluza ninety three, arguably
- 31:05Speaker 1: the lamest Lollapalooza of all of them.
- 31:08Speaker 2: Yeah, it was.
- 31:09Speaker 1: It was like Lallapaluza kept getting bigger, and then Lallapaluza
- 31:11Speaker 1: ninety three happened and no one liked that.
- 31:13Speaker 2: Oh but I mean you had woodstock ninety three to
- 31:14Speaker 2: make up for ninety four.
- 31:17Speaker 3: Kah.
- 31:17Speaker 2: Yeah, And so.
- 31:19Speaker 1: He he apparently had been offered either nine or ten
- 31:22Speaker 1: million dollars to have Nirvana headline Lollapalooza, and he didn't
- 31:26Speaker 1: want to do it. He wanted to pull out, not
- 31:29Speaker 1: do the show. Didn't care about the money. And this
- 31:32Speaker 1: apparently turns into a big argument between Kurt Cobain and
- 31:36Speaker 1: Courtney Love. And around this time he also called the
- 31:41Speaker 1: band and said he was breaking up the band.
- 31:43Speaker 2: Has that been corroborated by by Girland Novas alec.
- 31:46Speaker 1: I think it's it's been It's discussed a lot in
- 31:49Speaker 1: just the Nirvana history in general that near the end
- 31:52Speaker 1: they were Yah pretty much broken up. Even from what
- 31:56Speaker 1: I remember around the time, there was this big talk
- 31:59Speaker 1: that Kurt was going to go do something solo. There
- 32:01Speaker 1: was a big like, Oh, Kurt's gonna go make a
- 32:04Speaker 1: solo record, and we were supposed to care about that.
- 32:06Speaker 1: So between pulling out a Lallapalooza and threatening to break
- 32:10Speaker 1: up the band, Courtney love Uh gets his management team
- 32:15Speaker 1: to stage an intervention, and this is how he ends
- 32:18Speaker 1: up in that rehab center that he eventually escaped from.
- 32:21Speaker 2: They basically told.
- 32:22Speaker 1: Him, you have to go to rehab or we will
- 32:25Speaker 1: cut access to your daughter, yeah, or we will severely
- 32:30Speaker 1: limit access to your daughter if you don't go to rehab.
- 32:33Speaker 1: And he's like, well, I'm not doing heroin, but he
- 32:35Speaker 1: fucking went to rehab anyway, apparently, and he's called the Exodus.
- 32:42Speaker 2: Exodus does like a patient doctor patient privileged, like prevent
- 32:48Speaker 2: people from talking about what his experience was like at
- 32:50Speaker 2: the rehab because I feel like I never hear much
- 32:52Speaker 2: about that. I think so.
- 32:53Speaker 1: But there are two psychiatrists who say they talk to
- 32:56Speaker 1: him during that brief time he was in rehabit they
- 32:59Speaker 1: also say he was not suicide. I also want to
- 33:01Speaker 1: say Mark Lanigan was with him in one of those
- 33:03Speaker 1: rehab things. It was uh, the guy from the Butthole Surfers,
- 33:12Speaker 1: Gilby Clark. Yep, okay, it was Gilby Clark who was
- 33:14Speaker 1: in that rehab with him and Kurt. Like, people say
- 33:18Speaker 1: he escaped from rehab, but what he actually did is
- 33:22Speaker 1: he jumped the wall and left. So, yes, he escaped,
- 33:24Speaker 1: but the thinking is he like, he's an adult, he
- 33:27Speaker 1: could have just walked out. Yeah, but he didn't want
- 33:30Speaker 1: everyone to know he left. He wanted a jump start
- 33:33Speaker 1: on escaping from this rehab basically, and he this is
- 33:39Speaker 1: all corroborated with phone records and shit. While he was there,
- 33:42Speaker 1: Courtney Love calls Exodus thirteen times on the payphone.
- 33:46Speaker 2: Yeah have you ever? Have you ever called the mental
- 33:48Speaker 2: institution payphone? I've done that racket a few times.
- 33:50Speaker 1: I have.
- 33:51Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, It's it's weird because you got it. And
- 33:53Speaker 2: then there's always some disinterested person will be like, like,
- 33:56Speaker 2: who are you calling for? James was like, I don't know, James, Yeah,
- 34:00Speaker 2: I don't know. I'll tell him, he'll call you. Later maybe,
- 34:03Speaker 2: and he's just like, this is the best system we
- 34:06Speaker 2: got here is still it's still a pay phone.
- 34:08Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm gonna go ahead and help out the one
- 34:11Speaker 1: listener who will for sure want to correct us. Okay,
- 34:14Speaker 1: Gibby Haynes is the Libby Haynes. Yeah, Gilby Clark Yah
- 34:19Speaker 1: yeah yeah, Axel Hey, Axel sol Yeah, that's a really
- 34:24Speaker 1: famous story. He when he leaves rehab, which I'm jumping
- 34:28Speaker 1: ahead a little, but the after he leaves rehab, he
- 34:31Speaker 1: first calls Courtney at the Peninsula Hotel in LA and
- 34:35Speaker 1: says he's spending the night with another woman in California,
- 34:38Speaker 1: and then he flies back to Seattle the next morning.
- 34:41Speaker 2: And on that flight.
- 34:42Speaker 1: Back to Seattle, he was actually sitting next to Duff
- 34:45Speaker 1: McKagan from Clark. It is weird, Yeah, And well Duff
- 34:53Speaker 1: mccagen was from Seattle, right, so that kind of checks out.
- 34:56Speaker 1: And on April third, Courtney Love calls Tom Grant and
- 35:00Speaker 1: says she can't find her husband and she hires him
- 35:03Speaker 1: to track him down. Whoa Courtney calls Tom Grant?
- 35:06Speaker 2: Yeah, Courtney, have you not seen Sulton Bleach?
- 35:09Speaker 1: Not in a long time?
- 35:11Speaker 4: Courtney?
- 35:11Speaker 1: Yeah, Courtney Love calls Tom Grant basically to help find
- 35:15Speaker 1: Kirk Kobank. She's like, I want to sue you a
- 35:17Speaker 1: whole bunch in the near future a favor. Yeah. Well,
- 35:20Speaker 1: at the at the start, she thought she was just
- 35:22Speaker 1: hiring a private investigator, right. And what's really great about
- 35:29Speaker 1: Tom Grant is he recorded everything from this investigation. Every
- 35:35Speaker 1: fucking conversation he had he recorded, and you can go
- 35:39Speaker 1: on his website he co eater. Yeah he did. Like
- 35:42Speaker 1: oh yeah, and what really this is a thing that
- 35:46Speaker 1: bothers me. This is a quote I came across while
- 35:49Speaker 1: researching this. It's from a site called Nirvana Legacy dot
- 35:52Speaker 1: com and they they did an article about the Kirk
- 35:57Speaker 1: Coobank conspiracy and this is her quote, over and over again.
- 36:00Speaker 1: What really bothers me is that entire arguments are made
- 36:03Speaker 1: on the basis of nothing more than the statements of
- 36:06Speaker 1: Tom Grant.
- 36:07Speaker 2: You can tell Adam doesn't disagree. It disagrees with this quota.
- 36:12Speaker 1: He claims Courtney was attempting to mislead him or told
- 36:15Speaker 1: him things he found untrue. Yet over and again, the
- 36:18Speaker 1: only word available is that of Tom Grant. No motherfucker,
- 36:22Speaker 1: He recorded everything, yeah, everything He says Courtney Loves said
- 36:27Speaker 1: he has her on tape saying it everything, he says,
- 36:31Speaker 1: Rosemary Carroll, who will get to later everything he claims.
- 36:34Speaker 1: She says he has audio of her saying it. Well,
- 36:37Speaker 1: then that changes everything. That's that's from our other podcast. Okay,
- 36:43Speaker 1: people get it.
- 36:44Speaker 2: Crossover crossover, Oh, the Globetrotters and Scooby Doo together, elast.
- 36:52Speaker 1: I liked it. What it was, Carol Burnett and I
- 36:55Speaker 1: don't know, Sandy Duncan.
- 36:57Speaker 2: Yeah. My favorite fucking crossover that I've discovered is the
- 37:01Speaker 2: Caster Fraser on Star Trek Voyager as like a sketch
- 37:04Speaker 2: for something. It's a pretty funny sketch and it's just
- 37:06Speaker 2: the Fraser people dressed up like Voyager characters. It's awesome.
- 37:09Speaker 2: It's it's just like funny to watch. Yeah, it sounds awesome.
- 37:12Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 37:13Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 37:13Speaker 1: Anyway, So on April fourth, Courtney Love calls in a
- 37:18Speaker 1: missing persons that's a bad day, pretending to be his
- 37:22Speaker 1: hot mom Wendy.
- 37:24Speaker 2: Which this Kirt coveans mom hot, Oh yeah, very hot.
- 37:27Speaker 2: Allegedly that's can we get a picture up in this bitch?
- 37:30Speaker 2: And she and and Kurt was very sensitive about it.
- 37:32Speaker 1: He did not like that.
- 37:32Speaker 2: His friends all thought that his mom was hot. Oh really,
- 37:35Speaker 2: and we had a big problem with it.
- 37:36Speaker 1: Interesting, Well that's Courtney Love, that was that's Francis being
- 37:40Speaker 1: down there.
- 37:41Speaker 2: Yeaheah. That doesn't do anything for me, is that? I mean,
- 37:45Speaker 2: that's that's not it. That's a pretty that's her. But
- 37:47Speaker 2: that's a twenty fourteen picture. Yeah, I can extrapol eight. Yeah, yeah,
- 37:52Speaker 2: I can work backwards from them. Zoom zooman enhands enhance younger.
- 37:57Speaker 2: We met the one in there with the her and
- 37:59Speaker 2: the dad with.
- 37:59Speaker 1: A jump on this keyboard with me like in TV
- 38:02Speaker 1: shows which operate one side and crisp of course. Crisp yeah, man,
- 38:08Speaker 1: like a like a fresh apple, crisped with a friend.
- 38:13Speaker 1: Put a fucking tea on it. People get mad. So
- 38:16Speaker 1: on April fourth, she files this missing person's report, claiming
- 38:19Speaker 1: to be Kurt Cobaine's mom. On April sixth, she sends
- 38:23Speaker 1: Tom Grant to Seattle look for Kurt. On April eighth,
- 38:26Speaker 1: and elect Electrician discovers his dead body in the sun
- 38:30Speaker 1: room above the garage of his home. But wasn't the
- 38:33Speaker 1: fourth when they think he really died? See that, I
- 38:37Speaker 1: think I know it's before the eighth. The eighth was
- 38:39Speaker 1: when he was found.
- 38:41Speaker 2: But yeah, when did I want to know when he
- 38:44Speaker 2: recorded doray Me and all of this that's such a
- 38:46Speaker 2: wonderful tune.
- 38:47Speaker 1: I think it was January of that year call from
- 38:52Speaker 1: the with the Lights Out box set, right.
- 38:54Speaker 2: I think it was like January or something, because I
- 38:56Speaker 2: always kind of pictured it like while he was on
- 38:58Speaker 2: the run from everything, you know. That's that's kind of
- 39:00Speaker 2: how it it played to me just listening to it.
- 39:03Speaker 2: It really sounded like he was, yeah, could you know,
- 39:05Speaker 2: it's kind of like just fucking bleaguered by by all
- 39:08Speaker 2: of this shit.
- 39:09Speaker 1: Or it was like literally the last thing, like the
- 39:11Speaker 1: tape was still running, yea, the whole thing back. There's
- 39:14Speaker 1: like a it's like a long pause and there's a
- 39:16Speaker 1: loud bang. I'm not sure what happened.
- 39:18Speaker 2: It's like maybe he dropped the record. It's one of
- 39:20Speaker 2: the most haunting things you'll ever hear if you've never
- 39:22Speaker 2: listened to Exist. It's not a Nervanas song that a
- 39:24Speaker 2: ton of people know, and it's not like super obscure,
- 39:26Speaker 2: but go listen to doray Me and Jesus Christ, real
- 39:30Speaker 2: real human pain, Like that's like if you had to
- 39:33Speaker 2: like send a tape out to outer space to kind
- 39:35Speaker 2: of explain the spectrum of human life, you would probably
- 39:38Speaker 2: include Dora Me and Pitch Packet. You know.
- 39:41Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a really and something by the Black Eyed Peace.
- 39:45Speaker 2: Yeah, let's get retarded the original version, my version.
- 39:51Speaker 1: Yeah, that song, and it's such a different sound for
- 39:56Speaker 1: nerve had that become a Nirvana song, like the falsetto
- 39:59Speaker 1: he's singing.
- 39:59Speaker 2: Yeah, I couldn't imagine that with like electric guitars. Really. Yeah,
- 40:04Speaker 2: it feels like a very uh, you know, like Paulie
- 40:06Speaker 2: or something. You would have to be.
- 40:08Speaker 1: Yeah, we did an episode of heart Shaped Pod about
- 40:11Speaker 1: what Nirvana's fourth album would have sounded like. There's a
- 40:15Speaker 1: version of that where there's a version of doray Me.
- 40:18Speaker 1: There's some band out there that so their credit, they
- 40:21Speaker 1: do really capture Nirvana sound pretty well. And they've done
- 40:25Speaker 1: like full band arrangements of a bunch of those demos and.
- 40:28Speaker 2: Just put Kurt's vocals over. Oh that's real cool. And
- 40:30Speaker 2: the doray Me one is pretty interesting. I like to
- 40:33Speaker 2: hear that. Maybe afterwards I was going to also, you
- 40:35Speaker 2: know You're right is actually really great? Oh, you know
- 40:38Speaker 2: You're right?
- 40:38Speaker 1: It's amazing, But that was around for a while. That
- 40:40Speaker 1: had been floating around for a bit.
- 40:41Speaker 2: Well, that was the one where Corny put that on
- 40:43Speaker 2: the on the Greatest Hits because she wanted people to
- 40:45Speaker 2: buy that in the box.
- 40:46Speaker 1: And you know, actually, now that I think about it,
- 40:48Speaker 1: I think you know You're right is the one that
- 40:49Speaker 1: was recorded January of that year.
- 40:51Speaker 2: I thought you know You're right was an outtake from
- 40:53Speaker 2: in Utero like they had it down. No, no, because
- 40:55Speaker 2: he did that in the garage with Pat Smear. I
- 40:58Speaker 2: remember that.
- 40:59Speaker 1: Yeah, you know You're it was. It was an actual
- 41:02Speaker 1: session for what would have been the next Nirvana.
- 41:05Speaker 2: Albutcham yeah, I love that behind the nut picking that
- 41:08Speaker 2: he does. I'm looking it up right now so you
- 41:10Speaker 2: can stop having this conversation just because I'm very curious.
- 41:14Speaker 2: Nirvana one was doray Me, recorded early nineteen ninety four.
- 41:21Speaker 2: Oh so yeah, that's been That'd have been the January song. Yeah,
- 41:24Speaker 2: composition and release that day, written by Cobeing before his
- 41:27Speaker 2: death in April of nineteen ninety four. So it was
- 41:29Speaker 2: in April.
- 41:29Speaker 1: Wow.
- 41:31Speaker 2: Yeah, Corney love explaining it. It was the last thing
- 41:33Speaker 2: he wrote in her bed. The course was doray and
- 41:35Speaker 2: me and Doray and me, and then it was me
- 41:37Speaker 2: and then my IV. Okay, so I guess you changed
- 41:40Speaker 2: the lyrics from Doray, Doray and my IV. He asked
- 41:43Speaker 2: room to freeze his sperm, So that's I'd asked him
- 41:46Speaker 2: after roam to freeze his sperm. That's a weird courney,
- 41:49Speaker 2: I guess. So he was you wanted because you wanted
- 41:51Speaker 2: to kill him so you could make more babies.
- 41:53Speaker 1: So he was writing a really melancholy song about what
- 41:55Speaker 1: was in his IV around the time.
- 41:57Speaker 2: Yeah, weird. So this whole thing, say, this whole thing
- 42:00Speaker 2: about freezing your unius. To date, no version of the
- 42:02Speaker 2: song has been rewritten Me and my i V lyrics
- 42:04Speaker 2: have been released. Yeah, Oh my god, that's it. I
- 42:07Speaker 2: did not know that. That's weird. This is so fucking
- 42:10Speaker 2: it when you take the Rome thing into account.
- 42:13Speaker 1: Him writing a sad song talking about his IV, it's weird.
- 42:17Speaker 1: That is.
- 42:18Speaker 2: A medley of previously unreleased demo versions over ten minutes long,
- 42:21Speaker 2: appears on the deluxe edition of the Montage of Heck
- 42:23Speaker 2: Home Recordings, released in November twenty fifteen. Oh man, I
- 42:26Speaker 2: fucking want to hear the shit out of that. Yeah,
- 42:28Speaker 2: I've never heard any of the versions of Dora Me.
- 42:30Speaker 2: I haven't either either. God damn it. That cut, guys,
- 42:32Speaker 2: fucking I Love. This podcast is over, Yeah, fucking calling.
- 42:38Speaker 1: So let's talk about some of the inconsistencies that came
- 42:41Speaker 1: up after, because what we just went through, that's kind
- 42:43Speaker 1: of the the story that we brought overviewed.
- 42:46Speaker 2: Yeah, it's the broad strokes. This is the official version.
- 42:48Speaker 1: Courtney Love hired a private investigator to try and find
- 42:51Speaker 1: Kurt Cobaine, didn't find him in time, he killed himself,
- 42:54Speaker 1: and because who could think to just stake out the
- 42:56Speaker 1: house until he came right. Also, too, she hired what
- 42:59Speaker 1: would become her personal nemesis right right, possibly at the
- 43:03Speaker 1: point when she already knew her husband was dead.
- 43:06Speaker 2: From something she did, right, Yeah, so allegedly allegedly, Yeah,
- 43:14Speaker 2: she is Courtneyccorney Love is really a snightly whiplash of grunge.
- 43:20Speaker 1: So a month after Cobain died, journalist Duff Wilson, of course,
- 43:24Speaker 1: is a journalist in Seattle named Duff Wilson published a
- 43:27Speaker 1: story in The Seattle Times about inconsistent inconsistencies in the
- 43:31Speaker 1: case for one Tom Grant found and shared with the
- 43:35Speaker 1: police that someone tried to use Kurt Cobain's credit card
- 43:40Speaker 1: after he would have been dead.
- 43:43Speaker 2: Well, that's what it's striking, So like fucking tomb raiders
- 43:49Speaker 2: got to him first and then tried to get a
- 43:51Speaker 2: six pack on Kurt. Well, here's the here's what's your explanation, man.
- 43:56Speaker 1: Here's mine. Is a lot of bands have a corporate
- 43:58Speaker 1: card that's attached to the band so that when you're
- 44:02Speaker 1: on the road and you go, fuck, we're out of string.
- 44:04Speaker 1: But I think this was his personal Well then then
- 44:07Speaker 1: Courtney killed it.
- 44:10Speaker 2: I mean, Trav is that some damn fun devil's devil's
- 44:13Speaker 2: advocacy you're doing there?
- 44:14Speaker 1: That is true. Yeah, there's also the suicide note. Connor
- 44:19Speaker 1: have you ever seen the suicide note? Oh yeah, man,
- 44:21Speaker 1: that thing. It looks like about a fifteen hundred word
- 44:26Speaker 1: retirement letter right with four lines of suicide notes scrawled
- 44:31Speaker 1: at the bottom in completely different hand. It is one
- 44:37Speaker 1: of the least convincing suicide notes I've ever seen, because
- 44:41Speaker 1: he goes into so much detail about why he needs
- 44:44Speaker 1: to quit music and why he needs to break up
- 44:46Speaker 1: the band, and then just all of a sudden, at
- 44:49Speaker 1: the bottom it's all it's oh Also, I'll be at
- 44:52Speaker 1: the at your alter. I'm gonna fucking kill myself by Yeah.
- 44:56Speaker 2: And I thought he was plugging a show at the end.
- 44:58Speaker 1: Also, I'll be at check Out Francis opening for me
- 45:03Speaker 1: at the All.
- 45:05Speaker 2: I'll be at the Jolly Roger in North Carolina, the
- 45:07Speaker 2: new Pirate Themes Comedy Club. Oh, come out doing the
- 45:12Speaker 2: poop deck room. Yeah, it'll be a good time. This
- 45:14Speaker 2: is this isn't before the show joke. You know who
- 45:18Speaker 2: had the best suicide note of all time? And I
- 45:20Speaker 2: don't I'm not trying to romanticize suicide, don't do it,
- 45:22Speaker 2: but Hunter S. Thompson great suicide note. I know that's
- 45:25Speaker 2: a classy twenty four year old, edgy white guy pick,
- 45:28Speaker 2: but I mean it really is. Football season's over. It's
- 45:30Speaker 2: very good read. Yeah, and you're like, god, damn, this
- 45:32Speaker 2: guy really had it.
- 45:33Speaker 1: Yeah, Like he really was also an author, you know,
- 45:35Speaker 1: it's kind of his thing was like putting together.
- 45:38Speaker 4: But it was.
- 45:39Speaker 2: It wasn't just like I'm so sorry my wife's name, goodbye, everybody,
- 45:42Speaker 2: I love you.
- 45:43Speaker 1: It was a burning pit of my stomach. Let's put
- 45:45Speaker 1: that in. Yeah, you know that's already been debunked from
- 45:48Speaker 1: the crooked Sorry, god damn.
- 45:54Speaker 2: That Jones back. Everybody got damn right.
- 45:57Speaker 1: I am shade grown grunge. So there's also uh, well
- 46:03Speaker 1: there's the gun there there. This is well known. No
- 46:07Speaker 1: legible fingerprints on the gun.
- 46:10Speaker 2: Which he did not bring a friend. That's strange. Better
- 46:14Speaker 2: to better to what is the thing?
- 46:19Speaker 4: Fucking thing?
- 46:20Speaker 1: He says the Neil Young. Better to burn out than
- 46:22Speaker 1: fade away. Yeah, better not leave a fingerprint than But
- 46:29Speaker 1: that is weird that there were and also on the shelves.
- 46:32Speaker 1: There's no fingerprints on the gun. So he put on
- 46:34Speaker 1: some gloves. You know, it's fucking cold up north, and
- 46:39Speaker 1: after he shot himself in the head.
- 46:40Speaker 2: Yeah, well, you know, a chicken could walk around for
- 46:43Speaker 2: a few minutes, and who wants to die with gloves on.
- 46:45Speaker 2: I'm not a fucking If you.
- 46:47Speaker 1: Cut the head off of a grunge rocker, he can
- 46:49Speaker 1: walk around for a while, record doray me and take
- 46:52Speaker 1: gloves off.
- 46:53Speaker 2: The lot of people don't know that that's just for
- 46:56Speaker 2: several hours. They can smoke cigarettes and plaid and go
- 47:01Speaker 2: charge things.
- 47:02Speaker 1: Yeah, there's also the heroin in his system, which that
- 47:07Speaker 1: is the question there is could he have operated this
- 47:11Speaker 1: shotgun with this much Heroin. Oh, how much Heroin was it?
- 47:14Speaker 2: Well?
- 47:15Speaker 1: How much Heroin was it? Yeah?
- 47:17Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, a shitload.
- 47:22Speaker 1: Seventy times higher than the amount that would kill an
- 47:25Speaker 1: average person. What who Yeah, if he'd been off Heroin.
- 47:30Speaker 1: The and the thing is, think about if he'd been
- 47:32Speaker 1: off Heroin. See here's here's we're getting more into the
- 47:36Speaker 1: conspiracy part here.
- 47:37Speaker 2: But one way.
- 47:41Speaker 1: You could conceivably kill Kurt Kobaine in this situation if
- 47:44Speaker 1: he had not been doing Heroin up to this point,
- 47:47Speaker 1: and you show up and somehow talk him into doing
- 47:50Speaker 1: Heroin again.
- 47:51Speaker 2: Just it's just a small amount, you'll be fine.
- 47:54Speaker 1: Yeah, if that's pure Heroin, you're gonna kill him.
- 47:58Speaker 2: That's how Harris Whittle's passed away. He yeah, you know,
- 48:00Speaker 2: he went to go do a normal size Yeah, yeah,
- 48:03Speaker 2: a normal sized dose and then just just too much.
- 48:05Speaker 1: Well, I mean, okay, in the world where someone's killing
- 48:08Speaker 1: Kurt Cobaine, you could take this.
- 48:10Speaker 2: You mean the world, the real world that we live in. Uh,
- 48:13Speaker 2: it's the world I know. Uh No, all right, I
- 48:17Speaker 2: got the gotcha. Yeah, selective soul reference, Grandma take me home.
- 48:23Speaker 1: I'm just saying we can take the plot device from
- 48:25Speaker 1: an episode of the wire and give him a hot
- 48:27Speaker 1: dose and he just you make it filled with poison
- 48:31Speaker 1: and not heroin, and he thinks he's injecting heroin and
- 48:33Speaker 1: he's out sounds like.
- 48:34Speaker 4: You need a hot.
- 48:38Speaker 2: Yeah, no, I see what you're saying. Yeah you could.
- 48:40Speaker 1: But also his history was recovering from heroin over right.
- 48:45Speaker 1: But if you're like, oh, look he relapsed and he
- 48:47Speaker 1: did too much boom, you don't have to do the
- 48:49Speaker 1: shotgun ship right. But also by that same line of thinking,
- 48:55Speaker 1: how do you do the shotgun shit? Like if you're
- 48:58Speaker 1: him and you've injected this much heroin, there's also medical
- 49:02Speaker 1: reports that say there were pin pricks in both arms,
- 49:05Speaker 1: as if he shot up twice.
- 49:07Speaker 2: Like you've gotten kind of confused after he was high
- 49:09Speaker 2: and then you know.
- 49:10Speaker 1: Or maybe the first injection didn't kill him. Like I
- 49:13Speaker 1: like to imagine them just repeatedly injecting Kurt with heroin
- 49:16Speaker 1: and he just keeps waking up.
- 49:18Speaker 2: Like what's going on?
- 49:18Speaker 1: What are you guys doing?
- 49:19Speaker 2: Then they're just like fucking shoot him. Yeah, yeah, I
- 49:22Speaker 2: mean I could see. I mean, if you're going to
- 49:25Speaker 2: commit like a high profile assassination, you know, think about
- 49:29Speaker 2: how stressed. I know, I'm walking in there, you know,
- 49:31Speaker 2: I'm getting my five thousand bucks in a round paper bag.
- 49:34Speaker 2: I'm just like, oh fuck, dude, he's still moving. Okay,
- 49:37Speaker 2: we'll put some in his other arm.
- 49:39Speaker 1: You know.
- 49:39Speaker 2: I'm like, it's I feel like you turn into like
- 49:41Speaker 2: the burglars from Home Alone.
- 49:43Speaker 4: You know.
- 49:43Speaker 2: It's like a tough thay. They probably is, probably is
- 49:45Speaker 2: their first rodeo. You probably don't get you'll probably don't
- 49:48Speaker 2: kill rock stars.
- 49:48Speaker 1: Yeah, if you're getting al Duce to do it, which
- 49:50Speaker 1: is the story, he's probably but just oh yeah, that
- 49:53Speaker 1: is a pretty fa I get that he's not the
- 49:55Speaker 1: most credible witness, but neither is Courtney Love.
- 49:57Speaker 2: But I like the idea that Kobaine was a fucking
- 50:00Speaker 2: heroin endurance athlete.
- 50:02Speaker 1: Like he was just like running a marathon of heroin.
- 50:05Speaker 1: Like you couldn't oh odm. He just was like too
- 50:08Speaker 1: he had too much heart and too much heroin heart.
- 50:10Speaker 2: What's interesting is is it sounds like he finally wanted
- 50:13Speaker 2: to live man, you know, like he figured out the
- 50:15Speaker 2: stomach shit.
- 50:15Speaker 1: He was, you know, and what's in there's another documentary
- 50:19Speaker 1: that claims to have debunked this idea that Kurt Cobaine
- 50:23Speaker 1: couldn't have fired a shotgun with that much heroin in
- 50:25Speaker 1: his system. And that was the darkest episode of MythBusters.
- 50:28Speaker 1: They just got super high and tried to shoot each other.
- 50:32Speaker 1: They show a guy standing on one leg who they
- 50:36Speaker 1: say had just taken this that same amount of heroin
- 50:38Speaker 1: by one leg. Well, just to show that, well, I
- 50:41Speaker 1: just took this much and I can still just stand
- 50:43Speaker 1: here on one leg. Of course you could fire a shotgun,
- 50:45Speaker 1: but that guy one did not take heroin. He took
- 50:48Speaker 1: morphine and two took it orally, which is so fucking
- 50:54Speaker 1: right miles away from heroin. As I understand it, when
- 50:59Speaker 1: you and I did, the whole thing's in you right now,
- 51:02Speaker 1: you're good, right, Yeah, that's where you're trying to get
- 51:03Speaker 1: it is when you take that shit orally it you're like,
- 51:07Speaker 1: it's been like an hour. I'm starting to feel really
- 51:09Speaker 1: fucked up.
- 51:10Speaker 2: And this in nineteen I said, okay, we gave this
- 51:13Speaker 2: guy a caveman coffee and this other guy just listened
- 51:16Speaker 2: to a rollicking Chuck Berry song, you know, and it's
- 51:19Speaker 2: like they should be exactly as amped up equally Caveman coffee.
- 51:23Speaker 1: Do you want to be a workout Dick and have
- 51:26Speaker 1: coffee Caveman Coffee. In nineteen ninety seven, Unsolved Mysteries took
- 51:32Speaker 1: Kurt Cobaine's autopsy report. Oh thank god we got Robert
- 51:36Speaker 1: Stack on the case. But this is pretty pretty compelling.
- 51:40Speaker 1: In search of with Leonard Neimoy, they took it Ripley
- 51:44Speaker 1: believe it or not, with Jack Palance tries to find out.
- 51:48Speaker 1: They took it to a guy named Cyril Weckt, who
- 51:51Speaker 1: was the president of the American Academy of.
- 51:53Speaker 2: Forendsic fucking stupid names exactly. That's a tough one. So
- 51:59Speaker 2: Cyril Wecked, this is my name, is SUBL.
- 52:01Speaker 1: Weckt. I'm here to debunk de do def of Cookhobang.
- 52:05Speaker 1: This is a quote from him. For most people, including addicts,
- 52:09Speaker 1: this is a significant level, and for most of them
- 52:11Speaker 1: the great percentage. It will be a level that will
- 52:14Speaker 1: induce a state of unconsciousness quite quickly. We're talking about seconds,
- 52:19Speaker 1: not minutes. I just can't tell you. It would have
- 52:22Speaker 1: been impossible. But it does raise a question as to
- 52:26Speaker 1: whether or not he shot that shotgun. Oh, if it
- 52:30Speaker 1: was a suicide, he probably would have had to be
- 52:32Speaker 1: holding the gun.
- 52:33Speaker 2: In his hand.
- 52:35Speaker 1: While he was injecting himself with the heroin and then
- 52:38Speaker 1: shot himself immediately after the injection. I cannot think of
- 52:42Speaker 1: a case in which someone injects himself with a large
- 52:45Speaker 1: amount of heroin and then proceeds to kill himself.
- 52:48Speaker 2: It just doesn't make sense.
- 52:50Speaker 1: And that's a thing I've actually heard is that among
- 52:54Speaker 1: heroin addicts, suicide is not that common. Dude, heroine, Yeah, yeah,
- 53:02Speaker 1: Heroin feels great.
- 53:03Speaker 2: I mean there's there's people that'd be like, well, hero
- 53:05Speaker 2: saved my life because I had something to live for it.
- 53:06Speaker 2: For a while, I liked being right right. And it's
- 53:09Speaker 2: like if you if you, if you catch that first
- 53:11Speaker 2: wave and that you had the nod hits you, You're like, well,
- 53:14Speaker 2: I can kill myself later. Right now, I'm in Malibu,
- 53:18Speaker 2: I'm on the beach.
- 53:19Speaker 1: It's just it's a drug that doesn't lend itself to suicide.
- 53:23Speaker 1: It's not that or if it does, it's you're laying
- 53:25Speaker 1: staly suit. It's death by over like a decade, you know, right. Yeah,
- 53:30Speaker 1: and uh, this is another quote from Denise Marshall, who
- 53:34Speaker 1: is a deputy coroner in Colorado.
- 53:37Speaker 2: When I saw the Colorado Colorado, well they died.
- 53:41Speaker 1: But they said, like, people have been investigating this forever
- 53:43Speaker 1: and sometimes you just reach out to hey, you know
- 53:46Speaker 1: blood evidence. Can you look at this and tell me
- 53:48Speaker 1: you're in Colorado? Most people just are alive there you
- 53:51Speaker 1: want to look at this dead guy. But I mean,
- 53:54Speaker 1: she's a coroner. She looks at dead bodies for a living,
- 53:57Speaker 1: and she she's seen stuff like that last Marshall, like
- 54:00Speaker 1: the Amstead. Kurt like to use pretty cool tie in.
- 54:04Speaker 2: This is a quote. When I saw this is a
- 54:05Speaker 2: Gary jaggsting.
- 54:10Speaker 1: When I saw the blood morphine results of the toxicology tests,
- 54:13Speaker 1: I asked myself, how could he have pulled the trigger?
- 54:17Speaker 1: It would have been virtually impossible. But that's the thing,
- 54:20Speaker 1: Kurt Man. He was always breaking barriers. He was always
- 54:23Speaker 1: find a new ground.
- 54:24Speaker 2: To me, like he had himself a cup of shade
- 54:26Speaker 2: grown or avoca beans, giving you the get up and
- 54:29Speaker 2: go to get up and go away forever and leave
- 54:32Speaker 2: your daughter to be raised by a psychopath de pride
- 54:35Speaker 2: of the world of some of the greatest music that
- 54:37Speaker 2: never got to me soon. Oh my god, that's that's
- 54:42Speaker 2: how one of all his conspiracy theories just promote his products.
- 54:46Speaker 2: It's like well, i' mean George Washington. If he would
- 54:48Speaker 2: have had fluoride peppermint bland that I have in my
- 54:51Speaker 2: warehouse right now in Austin, Texas, he'd be with us today.
- 54:55Speaker 1: Wouldn't have had those wooden teeth. Yeah, yeah, that's the problem.
- 54:59Speaker 1: So one of my favorite pieces of evidence in this
- 55:04Speaker 1: whole thing, and it's they break it down really well
- 55:06Speaker 1: in the Soaked for Bleach documentary is the shotgun shell.
- 55:11Speaker 1: If you've ever seen a shotgun, those shells eject one
- 55:15Speaker 1: direction every time, and that yes, oh, exactly cool. And
- 55:22Speaker 1: Kurt Cobain's the shell was found to the left of
- 55:28Speaker 1: his body, but the way he was holding the gun,
- 55:31Speaker 1: the shell should have been on the right. And the
- 55:35Speaker 1: way police explain this, it's actually kind of absurd. They claim,
- 55:40Speaker 1: when he pulled the trigger, the gun flipped in his
- 55:43Speaker 1: hand and that's why the shell's over here. But the
- 55:47Speaker 1: where the shell should be is pointing over here. It
- 55:50Speaker 1: could have bounced off at something. But that's the thing,
- 55:54Speaker 1: there's nothing next to him. If you look at the
- 55:56Speaker 1: crime scene photos. If it bounced off something, it could
- 55:58Speaker 1: have been another person, by the way, someone else's arm.
- 56:02Speaker 1: I'd recommend not looking at the crime scene photos. They're terrifying.
- 56:05Speaker 2: There are some I don't think I've ever looked at.
- 56:07Speaker 2: Oh it's not good. Yeah, No, I have a very
- 56:10Speaker 2: weak stomach for that kind of stuff. I don't want
- 56:12Speaker 2: to see it.
- 56:13Speaker 1: But the shotgun shell evidence is really fucking compelling, because
- 56:17Speaker 1: there's no reason that shell should What it seems like
- 56:21Speaker 1: is that the person who killed him shot him and
- 56:25Speaker 1: forgot to turn the gun upside down oops when they
- 56:28Speaker 1: pulled the trigger, and then just didn't know enough about ballistics,
- 56:32Speaker 1: like they shot him then put the gun in the
- 56:34Speaker 1: right position in his hand. No, wait, the gun's facing
- 56:37Speaker 1: the wrong way in the the gun is facing Yeah,
- 56:40Speaker 1: the gun is basically facing the opposite direction of where
- 56:43Speaker 1: the shell casing is and it should not.
- 56:46Speaker 2: But all right, if I'm gonna shoot me, I feel
- 56:49Speaker 2: like also, if you shots on in the head, like
- 56:51Speaker 2: the blood splatter, you wouldn't you be able to look
- 56:53Speaker 2: at the floor and see like, oh, there's an area
- 56:55Speaker 2: like about the breadth of a man in front of
- 56:57Speaker 2: Kurt where there's no blood on the ground, because clear
- 57:00Speaker 2: we hit this person, you know.
- 57:01Speaker 1: Yeah, but if you're shooting him from the front, it's
- 57:04Speaker 1: it's mostly but it's going everywhere.
- 57:07Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, yeah, it's it's weird. It's the The.
- 57:12Speaker 1: Soaked in Bleach documentary really covers it pretty well when
- 57:17Speaker 1: they find him. Is the trigger up or is the
- 57:18Speaker 1: trigger down?
- 57:20Speaker 2: I don't, I don't remember exactly.
- 57:22Speaker 1: Like again, you would have to watch it, but they
- 57:25Speaker 1: I believe the trigger is dah is up. Oh that's weird,
- 57:30Speaker 1: but I mean, I don't know. You're also trying to
- 57:32Speaker 1: like dissect how a person would kill themselves.
- 57:35Speaker 2: It's like, well, I would do it with the trigger down,
- 57:36Speaker 2: so I guess yeah. But also it's this is the
- 57:40Speaker 2: what's frustrating.
- 57:41Speaker 1: To me about the Kurt Kobang conspiracy is it's the
- 57:43Speaker 1: kind of thing where people will take everything and go, oh,
- 57:47Speaker 1: well but this, but when you.
- 57:48Speaker 2: Take all of it, it's kind of a lot. Are you?
- 57:53Speaker 2: Are you bunk a lot for this to not? Are you?
- 57:56Speaker 2: Are you just plinding devil's advocate? Are you like a
- 57:57Speaker 2: corny You didn't do a guy?
- 58:00Speaker 1: I don't know if Courtney did it.
- 58:02Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know. I'm just curious.
- 58:04Speaker 1: I'm just curious what the thing with the shotgun was,
- 58:07Speaker 1: because because to me, the old hat way to do
- 58:11Speaker 1: it is trigger down like that. If you trigger up,
- 58:13Speaker 1: then someone didn't know how to put the gun back right. Yeah,
- 58:16Speaker 1: that's suspicious, But the whole thing is best case scenario,
- 58:20Speaker 1: a twenty seven year old killed himself. He had everything
- 58:23Speaker 1: to live for and a daughter. So you kind of
- 58:25Speaker 1: want to go, God, I really want there to be
- 58:26Speaker 1: a fucking crime here. Yeah, but it's still that shotgun shell.
- 58:31Speaker 1: Like I'm probably not explaining it perfectly. You would have
- 58:33Speaker 1: to watch the documentary, but they it's really fucking compelling.
- 58:38Speaker 1: That shotgun shell should not have been where it was.
- 58:42Speaker 1: There is the explanation the police used is that the
- 58:45Speaker 1: gun flipped in his hand. When you die this way,
- 58:47Speaker 1: your fist like the gun would not Also, I don't know,
- 58:53Speaker 1: I don't Oh, and there's also they explained this in there.
- 58:57Speaker 1: For him to have fired the gun in the position
- 59:00Speaker 1: he was holding it, he would have basically had to
- 59:03Speaker 1: break his wrist. There was no way for him to
- 59:09Speaker 1: hold that gun and shoot himself that way. And they again,
- 59:13Speaker 1: they do a really good job covering it in that.
- 59:14Speaker 1: If nothing else watched that part of the documentary because
- 59:18Speaker 1: that's that to me is the most compelling thing, is
- 59:21Speaker 1: why did that shotgun sholl move the way it did,
- 59:26Speaker 1: and the official explanation doesn't make sense from a medical standpoint. Well,
- 59:31Speaker 1: do you talk about the driver's license? Did you get
- 59:33Speaker 1: into any of that stuffy driver's license was set out right,
- 59:37Speaker 1: because that's not really what happened.
- 59:38Speaker 2: It was actually a cop a photograph.
- 59:41Speaker 1: The story became that he knew what he was going
- 59:43Speaker 1: to look like, so he left that out to be
- 59:45Speaker 1: discovered so people would know it was his right.
- 59:47Speaker 2: I mean, it happened in his son house, like I
- 59:50Speaker 2: think you might be able to like, all right, he
- 59:51Speaker 2: was wearing mark armed from muddy Honey, what the fuck?
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: Good pull?
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: So let's talk about Rosemary Carol. That's the last thing
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: we'll talk about before we get out of here, all right.
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: She was the Cobain's entertainment lawyer, and Kurt often described
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: her as a surrogate mother. And among all the people
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: who think Kurt Cobain was murdered, she is the most
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: adamant that Kurt Cobain was murdered. And again, Tom Grant
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: recorded every fucking conversation he had with her. She actually
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: tried to file a lawsuit to get him not to
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: release the tapes at one point, because of all the
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: crazy shit. She said that she didn't like she wanted
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: Courtney Love arrested. She just didn't want to lose her
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: as a client. I think oh Man was just sad.
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: Yeah, and.
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: She, among other things, for one, says that after the
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: March eighteenth thing, Kurt Cobain called her and asked to
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: have Courtney Love moved from the will. Oh shit, And
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: but she's not. She still gets Nirvana money because he.
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: Died before, yeah before, I mean, it probably takes a
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: little bit to go change a will.
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: I mean, come on, he just put it on a
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: Google doc. You fucking changed the name?
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: Yeah, before Google docs. It was very easy legal zoom.
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: If legal Zoom has been around, Kurt Cobaine might still
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: be alive. Yeah, no, that fucking yeah, I mean that
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: that does kind of add an element of like, oh,
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: clock's ticking, you know.
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: And also, uh, he wanted to he wanted to divorce
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: Courtney Love. That's what, Yeah, Rosemary Carrol says. But what's
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: really fucking crazy? And this is also talked about a
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: lot in that documentary. On April sixth, which is still
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: shortly before we find Kurt Cobaine's body, Courtney Love visited
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: Rosemary Carroll and accidentally left behind a backpack. Rosemary Carroll
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: went through that backpack and she found, among a bunch
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: of other shit, two pieces of paper. One of them
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: was a to do list that said get arrested what
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: And the next day, April seventh, Courtney Love was arrested
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: after a drug overdose. So there's that. And then the
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: other sheet of paper was handwriting practice. It was literally
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: her practicing Kurt's handwriting as if she was going to forge.
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: A note at some point in the future.
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: This is the handwriting practice kurts. Yeah, oh weird. They
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: show it in that in that documentary. You see the
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: sheet of paper. What is she writing? I mean you
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: might it's just like letters. Yeah, yeah, you might.
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: You might find Kurt has written some kind of journal
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: entry and then be like, you know, if I tacked
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: on a few sentences.
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: Well that's that's I think one of the theories, yeah,
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: is that. My thought was when she was trying to
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: forge some documents to like fucking get all, if she's
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: going to go visit the lawyer.
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: You'd have to have a note of republic, wouldn't you.
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: Yeah, you wouldn't be able to do that. I mean
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: I feel like you couldn't show up at this point.
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: She's murdered her husband. I'm sure she could forge and
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: notary as well. Yeah, you know, but it could also
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: be her practicing to add those lines at the end.
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: Of that That seems most likely suicide. Note that seems
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: super likely.
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: And Rosemary Carol said at one point that everything in
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: that letter is just a past pastiche of things he'd
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: written in his journal before. Here's what's weird in the
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: in the world that we live in where Courtney did
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: all of these things. Allegedly she's bad at covering it up,
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: but we'll get to in the next episode. I mean it,
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: you know, Yeah, she got away with it. We're not
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: talking about this on CNN. We're talking about this on
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: the top podcastwork, which is a great platform.
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: But it's like, this is not the narrative in Bobby.
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: The culture is the Oliver Stone moment. This is the
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: JFK film that reopens the investigation, which, weirdly enough, Oliver
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: Stone up at some point, but he always does m
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: and Alex Jones they always show up.
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: Do we have actually other photographs of the writing practice
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: And the other thing that Rosemary Carroll is claiming to exist.
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: Uh, let's see. Well it's in that documentary. Okay, Oh boy.
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: It Courtney Love handwriting practice murder. Yeah, I would hate,
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: son of a bitch? How about that?
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: God? Literally just a sheet of her practicing shit.
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: God, no one else's handwriter who needs to remind them?
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: So if you're Courney Love, you have to remind yourself
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: to get arrested. That is tattooed on your brain at
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: all times.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: Yeah, Courtney Love should have a note that says, don't
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: ye look at the let's look at the suicide note
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: just real quick.
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: Oh yeah, just I mean it's so infuriating because you're like, god,
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: damn it.
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: So do you think this is all fake? Then the
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: suicide note it could be, but that it would it
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: would be a lot to faure.
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: And this is an gone handwriting analysis that is dubious,
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: you know, it's.
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: It's gone under undergone handwriting analysis. Again in the Soaked
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: for Bleach documentary, they oh, I forgot. It's Tobata. He's
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: a modinary friend who had to go serve in Vietnam.
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: Yep, that's such a great story. His parents.
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: Have you ever heard that he had an imaginary friend
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: as a kid and his parents told him that imaginary
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: friend got drafted into the Vietnam movie.
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: That's how you make a rock star man. Yeah.
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: So yeah, the like if you just look at the
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: suicide note, oh my god, we'll post it somewhere, but
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: it looks so different at the end. Also the idea
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: that okay, if we're if we're going with the theory
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: that this is uh Courtney doing it. She tells herself
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: to keep going, keep going, Courtney. She also puts a
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: little smiley face after her name. That was a cute touch. Yeah,
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: that's a week week I'm doing this. So there's that.
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: There's what Rosemary Carol found. There's also Michael call de Witt,
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: who was there living nanny and a purported gun nut.
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: Interestingly enough, he's the guy in drag on the CD
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: label of the in Utero album No No Kidding, which
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: I think is probably in liner notes since she also
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: in the other versions. But there are phone records of
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: her being in constant contact with Michael DeWitt, who was
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: at the Kobaine house at the time the entire time
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: this investigation's happening. And then at one point Tom Grant
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: finds a letter from Michael DeWitt like chastising Kurt for
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: having come to the house and not saying hi. And
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: what Tom Grant and Rosemary Carroll both took away from
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: that letter was that it was him covering up his
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: involvement in Kurt's death or just knowing Kurt was dead
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: and wanting to like wash his hands of it. Yeah,
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: they find this letter on April. The night of April seventh,
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: Michael Callie DeWitt boarded a flight for la a few
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: hours before they found that letter. So he wrote this
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: letter and got the fuck out of town. And then
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: there's l Duce, Man, this was the last thing. Have
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: you ever seen the Kurt and Courtney documentary.
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: I don't think I've seen that one specifically.
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: That was like a mid nineties, late nineties one, and
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: they have El Duce on camera. They're like, tell us
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: what you said earlier. He's like, Courty gave me fifty
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: thousand dollars to kill me.
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: Is this it? I've watched this. What's interesting.
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: There's a more interesting version of this on YouTube, but
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: the sound quality is so bad I didn't want to
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: play it on the podcast. But it's L Duce backstage
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: at a mentor show, and someone is like, tell us
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: about Kurt and Courtney, and he tells this six minute
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: story with so many more details about Courtney Love offering
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: him money to kill Kurt Kobe.
- 1:07:56Speaker 2: Here he comes to.
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: Courtney.
- 1:08:00Speaker 3: Well, there, there, there is.
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: He's terrifying.
- 1:08:05Speaker 4: Yeah, this is you.
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: He's the kind of guy who does that when you
- 1:08:12Speaker 2: need him for the first time.
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: Looks off the camera right away, averted.
- 1:08:16Speaker 4: He's just a perverted award.
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: Is he grilling right now or is that a fly's
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: he is grilling with that? Yeah? Yeah, yeah most of
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: the times. All right, so this is interesting him. But you, uh,
- 1:08:28Speaker 2: you did something deal with Courtney, right.
- 1:08:30Speaker 7: Yeah, she offered me fifty grand to whack Kurt Cobain.
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: Yeah, I was telling you.
- 1:08:36Speaker 4: She was fifty grand to whack Kurt Cobain.
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: And that's that's that's the fact, is it.
- 1:08:45Speaker 3: But people might think you're not the most reliable witness.
- 1:08:48Speaker 4: Well that's too bad. You may not be the reliable
- 1:08:52Speaker 4: witness your own self.
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: Good point.
- 1:08:55Speaker 4: Yeah, now think about that one. Okay, you know when
- 1:09:01Speaker 4: she offered me bunny God, dang, I wish I would
- 1:09:06Speaker 4: have taken it, man.
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: But right there, I believe him. Yeah, on record and
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: say I wish I took it.
- 1:09:11Speaker 2: How were you gonna wake him? And she tell you
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: how to do it?
- 1:09:13Speaker 4: Yeah, blow his fucking head off. Wherever you go to
- 1:09:15Speaker 4: find him to do it? Well up there and she
- 1:09:19Speaker 4: gave you know, mapped it out.
- 1:09:20Speaker 7: I mean, you know up there in Bellevue wherever they live,
- 1:09:23Speaker 7: right outside Seattle, I know right where the house is,
- 1:09:26Speaker 7: I know, right with with garden.
- 1:09:28Speaker 4: Pop him in.
- 1:09:30Speaker 7: I I just didn't think she was cerious.
- 1:09:34Speaker 2: But did she tell you how she wanted you to.
- 1:09:37Speaker 4: Blow his fucking head off? I got the shotgun, but
- 1:09:40Speaker 4: she didn't say anybody looked like a suicide.
- 1:09:42Speaker 7: Well yeah, but if you just blew his brains out
- 1:09:45Speaker 7: like you said, it wouldn't look like suicide. Looked like
- 1:09:47Speaker 7: you blew his But uh, I told Alan, I mean,
- 1:09:51Speaker 7: my friend, I'll let the FBI catch him.
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: So and then like that night, he was hit by
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: a train that night, according to like it's not just
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: not according to we know for a fact, l Ducha
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: died by getting hit by a train very shortly after
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: giving that interview.
- 1:10:16Speaker 2: Like the next fucking day, you know a train, here's
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: here's the one. You know where it's gonna be here's
- 1:10:23Speaker 2: the thing. LDU looks like a guy who gets hit
- 1:10:26Speaker 2: by a train. He looks like a guy who that
- 1:10:28Speaker 2: happens to an accident.
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: He goes, oh, but chucking out Laughter's train and then funk.
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: But the guy he mentioned Alan, a lot of people
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: believe is this guy Alan Rinch.
- 1:10:40Speaker 2: You can go check him out on Twitter. His name
- 1:10:42Speaker 2: is Alan Rinch. He is a former punk musician.
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: I know who Alan Rinch is, do you. Yes, there's
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: even a picture on a There's like a Facebook page
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: about the death of Kurt Cobain, and there is a
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: picture that claims to be Kurt Cobain right around the
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: time he died, with Alan Wrench wearing the shirt that
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: he fucking died in.
- 1:11:10Speaker 2: And this was taken at Seattle. Oh, that's the shirt
- 1:11:12Speaker 2: that he died in.
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: Yeah, Boris and Natasha's shirt and they do have the
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: same job.
- 1:11:17Speaker 2: They have the guy's face blacked out. But Alan Wrench.
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: In a the book Love and Death the Murder of
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: Kurt Cobain written by Ian Wallace and Max Halprin, Alan
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: Wrench says this when they asked about Cobain's death whether
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: it was a murder of suicide, suicide all the way
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: because I don't want to incriminate myself.
- 1:11:38Speaker 2: Oh this does feel like it could be just like
- 1:11:42Speaker 2: a like a washed up punk rocker clean the relevance,
- 1:11:45Speaker 2: but uh yeah, that'll do. Chain interview. I'm always like, oh,
- 1:11:48Speaker 2: yeah she did, because it's like I wish I would
- 1:11:50Speaker 2: have took it. He's like, he's gonna die anyway. I
- 1:11:52Speaker 2: live in San Bernardino. Yeah, he's wearing a shirt. This
- 1:11:55Speaker 2: is sand Bernandino on it, the official shirt of getting
- 1:11:57Speaker 2: Hit by a Dream.
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: If you for fifty grand you can buy San Bernardino.
- 1:12:03Speaker 2: You could. Yeah, the Detroit of California.
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: Everyone should h If you're interested in this more, go
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: out to YouTube and find the other L Duce interview
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: about this. It's they're backstage at a show and there's
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: people talking, so playing it on the podcast would have
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: been a nightmare. But he goes into way more detail
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: about where he was when Courtney Love approached him and
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: what the plan was supposed to be. It's like six
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: minutes long. It's pretty fucking interesting. And el duj is
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: e L space d u c ch e right now
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: it's no h d U see do you see yea Yeah, Travis.
- 1:12:40Speaker 2: Sorry, uh, I add the age.
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: So that's it a fancy that's that's the Kurt Cobain conspiracy.
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: Jesus Krill on board with the fact that he was
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: probably murdered.
- 1:12:55Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean when you when you look at it
- 1:12:57Speaker 2: as some of its parts, it's kind of like, Okay,
- 1:13:00Speaker 2: there is one or two things, right, twelve things.
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: You know, And we'll get into on the next episode
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: because the obvious question from there is, well, why haven't
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: the police ever investigated it? Like why because a really
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: sloppy police investigation is definitely an aspect of the Kurt
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: Cobain death. And in the next episode we'll get into
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: maybe why there wasn't more of an investigation. And that's
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: when shit gets really weird. That's when it changes, changes.
- 1:13:32Speaker 2: And read something we think you'll really like.
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: So yeah, next week we're going to talk about Courtney Love,
