Speaker 3: Good morning, sir, welcome to the show.
• 2:31
Speaker 6: Good morning. How are you?
• 2:32
Speaker 3: I'm fine, Thank you for being the first of all.
• 2:33
Speaker 3: Had everything go with the ribbon cutting out at the
• 2:36
  Speaker 3: Metalwood on Saturday.
• 2:37
  Speaker 6: Absolutely incredible.
• 2:38
Speaker 7: We had about fifteen to twenty kids that came out
• 2:40
Speaker 7: with their parents and the see of the joy on
• 2:42
Speaker 7: their face when they were playing on that new, beautiful
• 2:46
Speaker 7: big playground out in Metalwood Park and Tornado was worth
• 2:50
Speaker 7: every hard work that we put into it. In every
• 2:53
Speaker 7: penny that we spent.
• 2:53
Speaker 3: And there has been a lot of hard work that's
• 2:55
Speaker 3: gone into that. Not only there, but you talked about
• 2:57
Speaker 3: last time when you were on the show last week
• 3:00
Speaker 3: about some of the other playgrounds and stuff like that.
• 3:02
Speaker 3: A lot of hard work's got into all that.
• 3:03
Speaker 7: We did at Institute at the Shawnee Sports Complex. We're
• 3:06
Speaker 7: currently building one at Coonskin Park, and we're gonna later
• 3:11
Speaker 7: put one in at Poundeer Park over in eastern Kennall County.
• 3:13
Speaker 7: So great things are happening in Kannall County right now.
• 3:16
Speaker 3: Now. You're not on the show today though, to talk
• 3:18
Speaker 3: about your role as a county commission You're always welcome
• 3:22
Speaker 3: to do that, but you're here to make an announcement,
• 3:24
Speaker 3: so I will yield the floor to you.
• 3:27
Speaker 7: Well day, thank thank you for having me on today,
• 3:29
Speaker 7: and I want to say that it's been an absolute
• 3:32
Speaker 7: pleasure and honor to serve the citizens of Kannall County
• 3:36
Speaker 7: as your County Commissioner. You know, in the last four
• 3:38
Speaker 7: and a half years, we've done great work together. We've
• 3:41
Speaker 7: actually been able to make a lot of investments into
• 3:43
Speaker 7: our water and sewer projects, ensuring that people have potable,
• 3:46
Speaker 7: clean water right to their house and not relying on
• 3:49
Speaker 7: a well that's dried up, making sure that we're looking
• 3:52
Speaker 7: at economic development and tourism in bringing in the hat
• 3:56
Speaker 7: film McCoy for the first time the Kannall County with
• 3:58
Speaker 7: our dirt bike trails out in Tornado and Appalachian Outlaw
• 4:01
Speaker 7: Trails as well out in eastern Kennell County, one hundred
• 4:04
Speaker 7: thousand acres, the largest ATV park in the country would
• 4:08
Speaker 7: be right here in our back door. We've made tremendous
• 4:11
Speaker 7: strides and I've been a part of that, and it's
• 4:14
Speaker 7: something that's incredibly important to me as a native Kennell
• 4:17
Speaker 7: County and from Saint Albans. But I want to be
• 4:20
Speaker 7: in the position that best serves the people of the
• 4:23
Speaker 7: state of West Virginia, and I think with my experience
• 4:26
Speaker 7: and discussions with my family, I would like to make
• 4:28
Speaker 7: the announcement here on the Dave Allen Show that I
• 4:30
Speaker 7: will be announcing I'm going to be running for State
• 4:34
Speaker 7: Senate District eight in the twenty twenty six election.
• 4:38
Speaker 3: So how did you arrive at this decision?
• 4:41
Speaker 7: Well, I think it comes back to I want to
• 4:44
Speaker 7: be in that position that best serves the people of
• 4:45
Speaker 7: West Virginia and the experience that I've had with the
• 4:48
Speaker 7: County Commission and working with all these tremendous projects of
• 4:52
Speaker 7: bringing prosperity and healthy lifestyles and just being able to
• 4:57
Speaker 7: give back to the community has been absolutely incredible. And
• 5:00
Speaker 7: I believe that I'm the type of person that can
• 5:02
Speaker 7: bring that to the to the Capitol and start to
• 5:06
Speaker 7: work with the state and finding ways that we can
• 5:08
Speaker 7: continue this growth that we've seen while also decreasing the
• 5:12
Speaker 7: tax burden through eliminating the income tax.
• 5:15
Speaker 3: Talking again with Kennaugh County Commissioner Lance Wheeler, who has
• 5:17
Speaker 3: just announced within the last thirty to forty five seconds
• 5:20
Speaker 3: he's going to be running for state Senate. Why Senate
• 5:23
Speaker 3: and not the House. Was there a particular reason why
• 5:25
  Speaker 3: you chose Senate?
• 5:26
Speaker 7: Well, I think that the Senate shows that an area
• 5:29
Speaker 7: that I think I can best serve. You know, that's
• 5:32
Speaker 7: where a lot of experience lies, and that's what that's
• 5:36
Speaker 7: what makes the Senate the Senate, and I bring.
• 5:38
Speaker 6: I believe that bring that experience.
• 5:40
Speaker 7: You know, look at my background just on the County
• 5:43
Speaker 7: Commission of the accomplishments that we've made in cutting waste
• 5:47
Speaker 7: out of governments, you know, look at KRT and the
• 5:49
Speaker 7: work that we put in saving taxpayer dollars of one
• 5:52
Speaker 7: point six million dollars, looking at caseaaar Amban's authority and
• 5:57
Speaker 7: telling them we need to be more efficient with taxpayer
• 5:59
Speaker 7: dollars while still giving the same essential services. And so
• 6:03
Speaker 7: we've been making strides and saving taxpayer money out of
• 6:07
Speaker 7: my office along with my colleagues and the Count of Commission.
• 6:10
Speaker 7: But I know where money is. I know where it goes.
• 6:14
Speaker 7: I understand where the important is essential parts of government exist.
• 6:19
Speaker 7: And if I'm in the Senate, I can ask those
• 6:21
Speaker 7: tough questions of just like I did in the Count
• 6:24
Speaker 7: of Commission, why do we do things this way?
• 6:26
Speaker 6: You know I used to.
• 6:27
Speaker 7: Get the answer, well, Commissioner, we do things this way
• 6:30
Speaker 7: because that's how we've always done it. And I think
• 6:32
Speaker 7: that that's something that we need to bring to the
• 6:34
Speaker 7: state and start asking those tough questions and finding out
• 6:38
Speaker 7: where that money we can start saving in our budget
• 6:41
Speaker 7: through all of our departments. And I know there's ways, Dave.
• 6:43
Speaker 7: You can't tell me that there's not one red scent
• 6:47
Speaker 7: of waste in our state government budget. And I think
• 6:50
Speaker 7: through that as a Senator and finding those cost saving
• 6:54
Speaker 7: efficient manners in the budget. We can then use that
• 6:58
Speaker 7: cost savings to transfer that back into the pockets of
• 7:01
Speaker 7: the taxpayers in the state of West Virginia by eliminating
• 7:04
Speaker 7: the state income tax, which is an important issue for me.
• 7:07
Speaker 3: So how will this impact your role as County Commissioner.
• 7:10
Speaker 7: Well, I'll still continue to serve as county commissioner. You know,
• 7:13
Speaker 7: I will be focusing my attention to the entire district.
• 7:16
Speaker 7: You know, the district is essentially Charleston going into Institute,
• 7:21
Speaker 7: Dumbar Nitro Cross Lanes, it goes into Putnam County with
• 7:26
Speaker 7: Eleanor and Buffalo, goes into Jackson right before Ripley Rowan
• 7:31
Speaker 7: into Spencer and then all of Clay County and then
• 7:33
Speaker 7: coming back that line through Cissonville.
• 7:36
  Speaker 6: And so I think there's a lot.
• 7:37
Speaker 7: Of support that I've already received, and I'd like to
• 7:39
Speaker 7: talk about that in a second. But you know, these
• 7:41
Speaker 7: are a lot of the constituents, whether it's in Kannall
• 7:43
Speaker 7: County or in our neighboring counties that I've been serving
• 7:46
Speaker 7: with and I've been working with because I believe that
• 7:48
Speaker 7: high tides rises all ships and what's best for Putnam
• 7:51
Speaker 7: County is best for Kennall County and vice versa.
• 7:54
Speaker 6: And so I think that I'm going to continue.
• 7:56
Speaker 7: To work with those relationships and build and show the
• 7:59
Speaker 7: voters of the Senatorial eighth district why I'm the best
• 8:03
Speaker 7: Conservative choice for them to represent them at the state House.
• 8:07
Speaker 3: Talked about the support that you've received in the in
• 8:09
Speaker 3: the past from these people, you said you wanted to
• 8:12
Speaker 3: touch on that a little bit more.
• 8:13
Speaker 7: You know, I've been reaching out to good, good friends
• 8:16
Speaker 7: of mine that I've been working with and we've done
• 8:17
Speaker 7: great things together, and sharing with them this idea that
• 8:21
Speaker 7: I wanted to run for State Senate, and they were
• 8:24
Speaker 7: extremely encouraging, telling me that they strongly believed that I
• 8:28
Speaker 7: was the person that could best serve this district. And
• 8:31
Speaker 7: I'm proud to say that Delegate Dana Farrell out in
• 8:33
Speaker 7: Cisinville has endorsed my campaign.
• 8:36
  Speaker 3: Delicate.
• 8:36
Speaker 7: Andy Shamberlain out of Nitro has endorsed me. Andy Skidmore,
• 8:41
Speaker 7: Putnam County Commissioned President, has officially endorsed me. Along with
• 8:45
Speaker 7: Scott Elliott, mayor of Dunbar, and Dave case Boltz, mayor
• 8:49
Speaker 7: of Nitro, have already endorsed me for this race. I've
• 8:53
Speaker 7: had personal conversations with them, and they understand that I'm
• 8:56
Speaker 7: the type of person that even when I'm at the
• 8:58
Speaker 7: state Capitol, I'm one of we having common stations with
• 9:00
Speaker 7: our local government, with the constituents, whether it's a major
• 9:05
Speaker 7: issue with PIA or maybe it's that you just need
• 9:07
Speaker 7: a branch removed from your yard. I want to work
• 9:10
Speaker 7: to get that taken care of you, because I'm going
• 9:12
Speaker 7: to serve you as you're elected official and take care
• 9:16
Speaker 7: of my constituents. And I think that's where a lot
• 9:17
Speaker 7: of that support comes from. I'm proud to have that support,
• 9:20
Speaker 7: and we have a lot more coming. Those are just
• 9:22
Speaker 7: the ones I can announce right now, but there's a
• 9:25
Speaker 7: tidal wave of support for me to run for State Senate,
• 9:28
Speaker 7: and this is something that I believe my heart has
• 9:31
Speaker 7: guided me to do. I've talked to my wife about
• 9:34
  Speaker 7: this and.
• 9:34
Speaker 3: You better Yeah. Absolutely.
• 9:37
Speaker 7: I wouldn't be here right now if my wife did
• 9:38
Speaker 7: not agree that this is the best place for me
• 9:42
Speaker 7: in helping the state of West Virginia. You know, when
• 9:44
Speaker 7: I ran in twenty twenty for County Commissioner, I had
• 9:47
Speaker 7: that conversation with my wife and she said, you know,
• 9:51
Speaker 7: Lance whatever you have to do to serve not just
• 9:54
Speaker 7: our family, to better our family, but the people of
• 9:57
  Speaker 7: our community, then.
• 9:58
Speaker 6: You have to do it.
• 9:59
  Speaker 7: It's a calling and I truly believe that, and that's
• 10:02
Speaker 7: why you know I'm here today on Dave Allen Show
• 10:05
Speaker 7: with you to announce that I am running for State Senate.
• 10:08
Speaker 3: But Dave Violence showing five any Live is presented in

• 10:18
Speaker 3: six to sixty or visit generations PT dot com define
• 10:21
Speaker 3: the closest location near you. You know, with the Republican
• 10:25
Speaker 3: super duper majority, now that's trademarked by me, by the way,
• 10:30
Speaker 3: just like with the Democrats all those years. You know,
• 10:32
Speaker 3: Democrats controlled West Virginia for eighty three years and you
• 10:34
Speaker 3: saw different factions. And you're starting to see this with
• 10:38
Speaker 3: the Republicans. And that's no matter what who's in power,
• 10:40
Speaker 3: that's what you're going to see. You're going to have
• 10:42
Speaker 3: the more far you're gonna have far right, you're gonna
• 10:44
Speaker 3: have centrist, you're gonna have maybe a little bit more
• 10:47
Speaker 3: moderate if you had to describe your overall political ideology
• 10:52
Speaker 3: as a Republican, what would it be.
• 10:54
  Speaker 7: Well, I think that I'm a true conservative. I'm a
• 10:56
Speaker 7: free market capitalist. I'm a pro gun, pro coal, pro energy.
• 11:02
  Speaker 6: I believe that.
• 11:04
Speaker 7: People know how to spend their own money better than
• 11:07
Speaker 7: the government, and that if we can find ways to
• 11:09
Speaker 7: cut waste, abuse and fraud and get that money back
• 11:13
Speaker 7: into the pockets of the taxpayers, the citizens, and out
• 11:16
Speaker 7: of the pockets of the government, then that's where we're
• 11:19
Speaker 7: going to see true economic growth. You know, you look
• 11:21
Speaker 7: at other states and Governor Patrick Morrissey has talked about
• 11:24
Speaker 7: this with his you know, the backyard Brawl, and what
• 11:27
Speaker 7: that means is let's look at other states and what
• 11:30
Speaker 7: they've been successful at and use those Those are good ideas,
• 11:34
Speaker 7: and I think we've seen that with Tennessee. We've seen
• 11:35
Speaker 7: that with Florida, and we've seen that with the elimination
• 11:38
Speaker 7: of the state income tax. This is getting money back
• 11:40
Speaker 7: into the pockets of hard workers who you know, come
• 11:45
Speaker 7: back from work around five five point thirty and they
• 11:48
Speaker 7: take care of their kids, get them to bed, and
• 11:50
Speaker 7: then they have those hard conversations about finances with their
• 11:53
Speaker 7: significant other across the kitchen table. These are the conversations
• 11:58
Speaker 7: that I want to help a lead and getting that
• 12:01
Speaker 7: money back to them. And I know that there's no
• 12:04
Speaker 7: government that's one hundred percent efficient. We can always be better,
• 12:07
Speaker 7: and we should always strive to be better, whether whichever
• 12:10
Speaker 7: party has been in control. And so I think that
• 12:13
Speaker 7: as the state Senator, knowing as a county commissioner where
• 12:15
  Speaker 7: money goes.
• 12:16
Speaker 6: You know, we have a sixty million dollar budget that I.
• 12:19
Speaker 7: Help oversee as a county commissioner, especially last year when
• 12:22
Speaker 7: I was sitting as Commissioned President.
• 12:23
Speaker 6: And I know how the budgets work. I know where
• 12:26
  Speaker 6: the money goes.
• 12:26
Speaker 7: I know where to find those cost saving measures, and
• 12:29
Speaker 7: I can ensure you that if I have the pleasure
• 12:32
Speaker 7: of being elected by the voters of the eight Senatorial
• 12:35
Speaker 7: District to represent them as their state Senator, I'm going
• 12:38
Speaker 7: to go through that budget line item by line item,
• 12:40
Speaker 7: working with Governor Patrick Morrissey in his office, working with
• 12:43
Speaker 7: my colleagues in the Senate and the House, and finding
• 12:46
Speaker 7: ways to get the state income tax fully eliminated responsibly.
• 12:52
Speaker 3: You seem to be big. It's like the third time
• 12:54
Speaker 3: you've mentioned about the state income tax it's something that's
• 12:57
Speaker 3: obviously high on your list of priorities.
• 12:59
Speaker 7: Well, I think that that should be a top priority
• 13:01
Speaker 7: right now, and I think that it's something that we
• 13:03
Speaker 7: need to move forward to. We've talked about it for
• 13:05
Speaker 7: a long time, and we've made great strides, you know,
• 13:08
Speaker 7: And I think that the reasoning that we've been able
• 13:10
Speaker 7: to do that is because of the economic growth that
• 13:12
Speaker 7: we've seen here in the state of West Virginia and
• 13:14
Speaker 7: how much that has done for our people, for businesses.
• 13:19
Speaker 7: And we've been responsible in taking that growth and applying
• 13:23
Speaker 7: that to reducing the state income tax. But I think
• 13:25
Speaker 7: that the growth isn't enough. We have to look at
• 13:29
Speaker 7: our own budget and we need to find ways that
• 13:31
Speaker 7: we're going to be able to cut that. I know,
• 13:33
Speaker 7: with my experience in you know, just the PIA for instance,
• 13:37
Speaker 7: at the kind of Commission, I was able to find
• 13:39
Speaker 7: four hundred and forty thousand dollars cost savings without affecting
• 13:43
Speaker 7: our employees' insurance premiums. I was able to find those
• 13:47
Speaker 7: cost savings and just working with my staff, that's the
• 13:50
Speaker 7: type of work that I'm going to be doing as
• 13:52
Speaker 7: state Senator for our state budget. I think that's important
• 13:55
Speaker 7: I think that the economy is important, and I think
• 13:57
  Speaker 7: getting back.
• 13:58
Speaker 6: Into focusing and looking at how can we.
• 14:00
Speaker 7: Get businesses here to provide jobs for our citizens, for
• 14:04
  Speaker 7: our kids' future. I think that's what's important, and I
• 14:06
Speaker 7: think that's what we need to do.
• 14:08
Speaker 3: The Ad County Commissioner Lance Wheeler, who has just announced
• 14:10
Speaker 3: you will be running for state Senate as a Republican
• 14:13
Speaker 3: out of a district eight. And this is the seat
• 14:16
Speaker 3: that is currently held by Kevin Bartlett. Right, Yes, okay,
• 14:20
Speaker 3: all right, appreciate you being here. It's gonna be a
• 14:23
Speaker 3: you know, I mean you you're no stranger to campaigns,
• 14:27
Speaker 3: but you gotta put some miles on those shoes.
• 14:29
  Speaker 4: You know.
• 14:30
Speaker 3: I'm not sure you're ready to do that.
• 14:32
Speaker 7: I am looking forward to meeting the great people of
• 14:35
Speaker 7: this a senatorial district and and getting to introduce myself
• 14:38
Speaker 7: and showing them why I'm the conservative candidate for this
• 14:41
Speaker 7: Senate race. I think that you know, they're going to
• 14:45
Speaker 7: see somebody they can relate to, somebody who they can trust,
• 14:48
Speaker 7: and somebody that's when a difficult decision comes up for
• 14:52
Speaker 7: a vote, they know that I'm going to be making
• 14:55
Speaker 7: the decision best for them. Somebody they can reach out
• 14:59
Speaker 7: to that will have probably my personal cell phone number.
• 15:02
Speaker 7: If I continue this trend as I did as a
• 15:03
Speaker 7: count of commissioner, somebody they can have conversations with at Kroger's,
• 15:08
Speaker 7: at Low's where I frequent a lot for my wife
• 15:11
Speaker 7: and our projects at home. But this is something that
• 15:15
Speaker 7: I think that people will be getting excited about just
• 15:19
Speaker 7: because I'm going to be a man of the people.
• 15:21
Speaker 6: I'm going to listen to you.
• 15:23
Speaker 7: We are going to be starting a listening tour going
• 15:25
Speaker 7: around to areas I haven't been in because I'm just
• 15:28
Speaker 7: a county commissioner right now, and it's just going to
• 15:31
Speaker 7: be a tour of just listening, what's going on, what
• 15:33
Speaker 7: do you see, and you know what ways can I help.
• 15:35
Speaker 7: I think that's what an elected official should be doing.
• 15:38
Speaker 7: I think they shouldn't be just staying in one county
• 15:40
Speaker 7: only and expecting that's the highest population county, so they're
• 15:44
Speaker 7: just going to get the election that way. They need
• 15:46
Speaker 7: to be going to every single person because every person,
• 15:49
Speaker 7: every vote matters. And that's the type of campaign you're
• 15:52
Speaker 7: going to see for me in the next year and
• 15:54
  Speaker 7: a half.
• 15:54
Speaker 3: All right, Well, have you back on again. I appreciate
• 15:56
Speaker 3: you being here, Thanks a lot, Thanks for having me, Dave.

Speaker 3: Matt Harridge did indeed announce his resignation as the head

Speaker 3: also serves as the Commerce Secretary for the governor. No

• 20:53
Speaker 3: The party has their convention later this month, and it's
• 20:56
Speaker 3: going to be really interesting to see who they name
• 20:58
Speaker 3: is chair. I'm told it could be quite contentious. Shortly
• 21:03
Speaker 3: after the Matt Harridge resignation, Senator Jim Justice quickly endorsed
• 21:07
Speaker 3: Delegate Josh Holstein to be the new chair. I've known
• 21:11
Speaker 3: Delegate Holstein for sometime. He's a good guy. He's out

Speaker 3: there could be some pretty well known names that are
• 21:22
Speaker 3: interested in that, possibly even First Lady Denise Morrissey, who

• 21:41
Speaker 5: or just had an infection, you know O root canal
• 21:44
Speaker 5: type of infection, uh huh, and it can really cause
• 21:47
Speaker 5: you grief. But I'm in good shape.
• 21:49
Speaker 3: We sound great. Come in here. I mean last time
• 21:51
Speaker 3: that you were here, I mean you could tell you
• 21:53
Speaker 3: weren't quite Danny. You did good, as always did well,
• 21:56
Speaker 3: I should say on the air, but you just you
• 21:58
Speaker 3: just weren't quite Danny.
• 22:00
Speaker 5: You know, it's when you know, so much good comes
• 22:04
Speaker 5: out of so much bad, So much bad comes out
• 22:06
Speaker 5: of so much good. I don't like President Trump, but
• 22:10
Speaker 5: I think he did something really great with that with
• 22:14
Speaker 5: the big beautiful bill. No, no, no, with the with the.
• 22:19
Speaker 3: Iran Oh okay you yeah, the big beautiful bill.
• 22:25
Speaker 5: People say it'll cost people Medicare care. It's not so
• 22:30
Speaker 5: much that it'll close small, beautiful hospitals.
• 22:33
Speaker 3: There's a lot of a lot of concern for the
• 22:35
Speaker 3: medical community here in West Virginia. But there's also those
• 22:38
Speaker 3: that would say, Danny, well that it's uh, everybody's saying
• 22:41
Speaker 3: the sky is gonna fall. I am more concerned about
• 22:45
Speaker 3: the debt and how much money it's going to add
• 22:47
Speaker 3: trillions and trillions on to the debt from supposedly the
• 22:51
Speaker 3: party that that was going to battle the debt. Well,
• 22:54
Speaker 3: you just added between three to five trillion dollars onto it.
• 22:57
Speaker 5: Did you say, Sence your gold water? That was his,
• 23:02
Speaker 5: that was his, That was him.
• 23:03
Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I just when he ran.
• 23:06
Speaker 5: Against President Johnson. I mean that was you can listen
• 23:09
Speaker 5: to that speech. It's on YouTube.
• 23:10
Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, So you're you're big concern with the big
• 23:13
Speaker 3: beautiful bill though, was the possibility of hospitals closed because
• 23:16
Speaker 3: they're already having issues getting Medicaid Medicare reimbursements.
• 23:20
Speaker 5: Now mainly Medicaid. It was when I mean Thomas, you know,
• 23:28
Speaker 5: they defaulted on their bonds and I was alerted early.
• 23:33
Speaker 5: I had seventy five thousand dollars worth of bonds and
• 23:36
Speaker 5: I had to take a ten thousand dollars hit, but
• 23:38
Speaker 5: I would have gotten nothing Fairmount Steam State Hospital sixty
• 23:42
Speaker 5: thousand dollars. I mean, you think you get these high
• 23:47
Speaker 5: pat reductile interist rates and it it can be pretty painful.
• 23:54
Speaker 5: And then the reason we have such could help at
• 23:57
Speaker 5: the VA and hunting, and it's because the Ashland Hospital
• 24:01
  Speaker 5: went out.
• 24:03
Speaker 3: You mentioned iron you think again, it's been a while
• 24:07
Speaker 3: since you've been on the show, so you're obviously in
• 24:10
  Speaker 3: favor of I mean, I don't know anybody that's not
• 24:14
Speaker 3: I mean to be. There's a few here and there,
• 24:16
Speaker 3: but for the most part, I don't know anybody, but
• 24:17
  Speaker 3: it's not.
• 24:17
Speaker 5: Yeah, President next would say it was immoral, but not
• 24:21
Speaker 5: doing it had been more immoral, but it was it was.
• 24:26
Speaker 5: I mean, it was the worst kind of excitement. I mean,
• 24:31
Speaker 5: I got up and saw, you know, the differences in
• 24:35
Speaker 5: people's opinion that are flocking to each side. Is Bill Lackman,
• 24:42
Speaker 5: you know, Wall Street guy, hardcore Democrat right now, he's
• 24:48
Speaker 5: the leader against Tarvard, right. I mean, it's it's really
• 24:53
  Speaker 5: amazing to watch.
• 24:55
Speaker 3: I mean, I don't think anybody, regardless of whether you white,
• 24:59
Speaker 3: President Trump or not, I don't think anybody is going
• 25:02
Speaker 3: to say the world is a worse place with Iran
• 25:06
Speaker 3: not having nuclear weapons. The question is, though, is that
• 25:09
Speaker 3: there seems to be some disagreement as to how much
• 25:13
Speaker 3: how much damage we actually did and he says the
• 25:15
Speaker 3: President said, and others said, we totally obliterated Iran and
• 25:19
Speaker 3: their capabilities. Others have said it two months they're back
• 25:22
Speaker 3: where they were before. I don't know which side is you.
• 25:26
Speaker 3: You follow this stuff a lot more close to where
• 25:28
  Speaker 3: are you?
• 25:28
  Speaker 5: No, I'm I'm, I'm. We didn't get at all. But
• 25:32
Speaker 5: if we delayed it by a year, we delayed it
• 25:33
Speaker 5: by a year, I mean, and that was known that morning.
• 25:37
Speaker 5: The New York Times wrote it, and I was, you know,
• 25:40
Speaker 5: texting and talking and they, oh, it's in New York Times.
• 25:42
Speaker 5: Well they're not always wrong.
• 25:44
  Speaker 3: No, no, they're not. There's I mean, they're not.
• 25:47
Speaker 5: Uh, There's is a great newspaper, David Well.
• 25:51
Speaker 3: I read it, and I appreciate to appreciate you helping

Speaker 5: Yesterday? I was in in my car. Everybody knows where

Speaker 5: my car parks, and I just got done in my

• 27:20

• 27:23
Speaker 5: me and I found out it was General Governor Morrisey's
• 27:28
Speaker 5: new appointment to be as in General. And he said
• 27:34
Speaker 5: he from Wow, And I said, wow, My biggest mentor
• 27:38
Speaker 5: in life was Jerry Spence. You practiced in Jackson Hall
• 27:42
Speaker 5: And he said, yeah, I'm practiced in Jackson Hall. I
• 27:44
Speaker 5: knew him well. I said, wow, and they he said
• 27:50
Speaker 5: that we heard that you all have a homeless problem.
• 27:55
Speaker 5: We've always had a homeless problem. And I think he
• 27:59
Speaker 5: figured out by that time who I was. And he says, yeah.
• 28:02
Speaker 5: They said there was a great mayor here for a
• 28:04
Speaker 5: long time, and and once he left, the homeless probably exacerbated.
• 28:12
Speaker 5: And I said, of course that time, I'm looking up
• 28:14
Speaker 5: in the sky and smiling. And he says so. I said,
• 28:18
Speaker 5: that's not true, but thank you. And he says, you're
• 28:22
Speaker 5: Mayor Danny Jones. I said yeah. He said, well, I'm
• 28:25
Speaker 5: here to adg in general. I said. I told him
• 28:28
Speaker 5: I was in the Marine Corps in Vietnam got drafted,
• 28:30
Speaker 5: which he had hard time. He struggled with that. It
• 28:34
Speaker 5: was a wonderful conversation, but I had to tell him
• 28:37
Speaker 5: we've always we've had a homeless problem for fifty years.
• 28:42
Speaker 5: I walked down with my father down Summer Street. Summer
• 28:45
Speaker 5: Street used to be real roughed, and I would see
• 28:49
Speaker 5: these men on walkers with their cups out trying to
• 28:52
Speaker 5: get if they got a coin, they were lucky. And
• 28:55
Speaker 5: I asked my dad, I said, what's wrong? With now
• 28:57
Speaker 5: they probably got hurt in the war. And I said,
• 28:59
Speaker 5: can I put money in there? And he looked at me. Okay.
• 29:03
Speaker 5: I had a pocket poll of change and it was
• 29:07
Speaker 5: I mean, this city has changed so much.
• 29:11
Speaker 3: For the better for the worst.
• 29:13
Speaker 5: Both. I think that's fair for a guy like me,
• 29:17
Speaker 5: for a guy like me and Jerry Waters.
• 29:20
Speaker 3: I think that's uh, I think it's probably fair. You know,
• 29:23
Speaker 3: last week on the show, I had the Mayor of
• 29:25
Speaker 3: Clarksburg on come we on the mid day show, we
• 29:27
Speaker 3: do a save called Mayor Monday, and I had the
• 29:29
Speaker 3: Mayor of Clarksburg. I didn't ask him what his lineage was.
• 29:34
Speaker 3: Now you asked me too quick, Danny, I'll get it
• 29:37
Speaker 3: for you. He was on the should He made quite
• 29:38
Speaker 3: an impression. But I forgot his name already, but he
• 29:40
Speaker 3: was the mayor of Clarksburg. I'll get it for you here,
• 29:43
Speaker 3: but uh talk about I'll get it. I'll get it
• 29:48
Speaker 3: here for you. But anyway, he was talking about the
• 29:51
Speaker 3: homeless issue, uh in in Clarksburg, and he he kind
• 29:56
Speaker 3: of reminded me of some of the things he was
• 30:00
Speaker 3: saying of you, because I mean he sounded to be
• 30:04
Speaker 3: pretty hardcore about the homeless issue. And about tent cities
• 30:09
Speaker 3: and things of that nature, and about flying drones over
• 30:11
Speaker 3: top of them to see him. And he said, I mean,
• 30:13
  Speaker 3: I didn't really. When I do these segments, Danny, I
• 30:16
Speaker 3: don't particularly it's not hard hitting stuff. I just go
• 30:19
Speaker 3: in what's going on in your town and you know,
• 30:20
Speaker 3: that sort of thing. And he's the one that brought
• 30:24
Speaker 3: it up. I said, you know, I said, ask him
• 30:26
Speaker 3: something about some of the pros and constant. He said, well,
• 30:29
Speaker 3: we have a huge homeless issue. And he talked about
• 30:32
Speaker 3: the tent cities and things that they have in Clarksburg,
• 30:34
Speaker 3: and he said, as soon as we see him, we
• 30:36
Speaker 3: tear him down. And it kind of reminded me. You
• 30:38
Speaker 3: and I didn't really know each other that well at
• 30:40
Speaker 3: the time, but some of the things that you did
• 30:42
Speaker 3: and that you talked.
• 30:43
Speaker 5: About, Yeah, probably overreacted.
• 30:46
Speaker 3: But you think you overreacted.
• 30:50
  Speaker 5: I think that's something that citizens Charleston decided. I didn't
• 30:54
Speaker 5: because they re elected me. But it was it was tough.
• 30:59
Speaker 5: It was really tough. What happened when that place under
• 31:03
Speaker 5: the bridge over there by Pigley Wigglely, I mean Pickley
• 31:07
Speaker 5: Wiggly was their leakage. I think it went up to
• 31:09
  Speaker 5: about ten percent.
• 31:12
Speaker 3: Jim Malfrajoe was his name. Malfrajoe is his name. That's
• 31:19
Speaker 3: his name. That's his name.
• 31:20
  Speaker 5: There we go.
• 31:20
Speaker 3: Yeah, and actually somebody else just texted me that, Yeah,
• 31:23
  Speaker 3: that's that's the that's the name. I completely forgot it
• 31:27
Speaker 3: in the last week. If you had to do it
• 31:30
Speaker 3: over again, you said you overreacted, would you would you
• 31:34
Speaker 3: do it over again the way you handle the homeless issue.
• 31:36
Speaker 5: Yeah. If I have the biggest regret I have about
• 31:40
Speaker 5: being mayor's the guns.
• 31:44
  Speaker 3: Talk about that.
• 31:44
Speaker 5: Well, because people that are opposed to he in the
• 31:49
Speaker 5: biggest way will just distort it in the biggest way.
• 31:52
Speaker 5: And I was talking about the Martin Luther King Center. Yeah,
• 31:56
Speaker 5: that's it. Yeah, because that's what they put guns where
• 31:59
Speaker 5: there's a school. And we couldn't have done anything about
• 32:03
Speaker 5: it unless I had sued personally because the city can't
• 32:07
Speaker 5: sue the state because we're creature of the state.
• 32:09
Speaker 3: I remember that story well, and what what year was
• 32:11
Speaker 3: that I wasn't doing this show, Uh, but I remember
• 32:17
Speaker 3: it would being a big controversy because you just didn't
• 32:19
Speaker 3: want guns in the community center. And before you know it,
• 32:22
Speaker 3: you've become the most anti gun person on the face
• 32:24
Speaker 3: of the earth, the way that it was, the way
• 32:27
Speaker 3: that it was presented to.
• 32:28
Speaker 5: People, Danny Bloomberg, which if I was against me, I'd
• 32:32
Speaker 5: done pretty close the same thing. We would not have
• 32:35
Speaker 5: won that case had Keith Morgan's group not suits because
• 32:40
Speaker 5: he's very litigious. And I remember they they were they
• 32:45
Speaker 5: they were every single precinct, you know, trying to beat
• 32:49
Speaker 5: me that day, and his son was out there and
• 32:52
  Speaker 5: I felt so bad. I said, you're you're out in
• 32:54
Speaker 5: front of the high school. I want to And then
• 32:57
Speaker 5: I went around the corner and he pointed to his father,
• 32:59
Speaker 5: and there was Keith. And I turned it around and
• 33:02
Speaker 5: I came back. I had to truck. Can I get
• 33:04
Speaker 5: you some water? I mean, I you know, I mean,
• 33:07
Speaker 5: it's it was tough, but hell, I want to excuse me.
• 33:11
Speaker 5: I want I want seventy two percent.
• 33:15
Speaker 3: If you I know you're not going to do this,
• 33:18
Speaker 3: but if you if you ever even entertained the thought,
• 33:22
Speaker 3: you're shaking your head and I haven't even supposed to.
• 33:24
Speaker 3: Have you ever entertained the thought of maybe running again.
• 33:28
Speaker 5: No, I think that as a cloud.
• 33:31
  Speaker 3: It's just it's just you're out.
• 33:32
Speaker 5: No, I'm my goodness, it's not up. It's uh the
• 33:39
Speaker 5: mostest self of sorre is nothing you can do and
• 33:41
Speaker 5: you you really hurt people.
• 33:44

• 36:14
  Speaker 3: not the major problem. I didn't. I don't think I
• 36:16
Speaker 3: did say it was a major problem. Did I say
• 36:18
Speaker 3: it was a major problem? The or the No, it
• 36:21
Speaker 3: is a major problem. I don't think. Is it the
• 36:22
Speaker 3: biggest problem? No, I don't know.
• 36:24
Speaker 5: I think the biggest problem was the needles. Yeah.
• 36:27
Speaker 3: So you got a project you're working on. After telling
• 36:31
Speaker 3: me on this show a couple of years ago, I
• 36:33
Speaker 3: asked you had you ever considered writing a book? And
• 36:37
Speaker 3: you said no, And by golly, you're writing a book.
• 36:41
Speaker 5: And to write. After that, Charlie Ryan called.
• 36:43
Speaker 3: Me, okay, So, so talk about the process of writing
• 36:48
Speaker 3: this book. What all is going to be in it?
• 36:49
Speaker 3: What's not going to be in it?
• 36:50
  Speaker 5: Uh?
• 36:51
  Speaker 3: Spill it, man.
• 36:52
Speaker 5: I'm spending a lot of time in my apartment, you know,
• 36:55
Speaker 5: typing and because I'm very slow, and it's the most
• 37:02
Speaker 5: exciting thing I've ever done.
• 37:03
Speaker 3: So is it basically just your your autobiography or I
• 37:06
Speaker 3: mean just by the whole life, just the political side.
• 37:09
Speaker 5: Lots of pictures, okay, there'll be so many illustrations in
• 37:13
  Speaker 5: this book.
• 37:14
Speaker 3: And uh, similar to the pictures you had when you
• 37:16
Speaker 3: had your restaurant downtown.
• 37:18
Speaker 5: M A lot younger, okay, you know, and as many
• 37:23
Speaker 5: of my relistives and friends as they can get in it. Okay,
• 37:27
Speaker 5: you know, you know, George Jarrett and Otis and folks.
• 37:32
Speaker 5: And I remember first time Hobby heard Don March mentioned Otis,
• 37:39
Speaker 5: he thought he was joking and he didn't know how
• 37:41
Speaker 5: important Otis was to this community.
• 37:44
Speaker 3: Yeah. So when's it going to be done? You think?
• 37:47
Speaker 5: He said by December? Okay, but we'll see.
• 37:50
Speaker 3: What is your writing process? Like I always like to
• 37:53
Speaker 3: ask authors this, whether they're a newspaper columnists or novelist,
• 37:56
Speaker 3: when they do you just sit down or do you
• 37:58
Speaker 3: walk around with the legal path had writing stuff?
• 38:00
  Speaker 4: Down.
• 38:01
Speaker 3: Do you sit down behind a computer or tie? I mean,
• 38:03
Speaker 3: how does Danny write?
• 38:04
Speaker 5: Not since I was in theater, Okay, I mean David.
• 38:08
Speaker 5: I never after I was in theater. I never made
• 38:11
Speaker 5: a written speech. I was so much better when I
• 38:14
Speaker 5: just winged it. Yeah, I remember walking there was a
• 38:18
Speaker 5: black female sorority in the Marriotte. I had no idea
• 38:23
Speaker 5: what was going to say to a turn the hand
• 38:24
Speaker 5: on the knob. I saw those folks and boom, what'd
• 38:28
Speaker 5: you say to him? Humor? I can't exactly remember, but
• 38:33
Speaker 5: and humor is risky.
• 38:36

• 38:52
Speaker 3: work your way up?
• 38:52
Speaker 5: Or yeah? I was a I was so you know
• 38:56
Speaker 5: my descendant shore on the Mayflower. I had more descendants
• 38:58
Speaker 5: on the Mayflower than any.
• 39:00
Speaker 3: Where's your family from originally?
• 39:03
Speaker 5: Hmmm, well England and Wales, Well England, that bunch.
• 39:11
Speaker 3: So when when you sit down and you start, you've
• 39:15
Speaker 3: got a good story to tell, do you question, Okay,
• 39:18
Speaker 3: maybe I shouldn't put this in here, Maybe I should
• 39:21
Speaker 3: change the names because a lot of times people will
• 39:22
Speaker 3: do that. They do composite characters, you know, to represent
• 39:26
Speaker 3: your your friends growing up. You have a friend named
• 39:28
Speaker 3: Billy who may or may not have existed, but you
• 39:30
Speaker 3: can put all those different traits on this one character.
• 39:32
Speaker 3: How do you do it?
• 39:33
  Speaker 5: Oh, it's uh, well, it's a compositive things and it's
• 39:37
Speaker 5: in my head and it's one time when I was
• 39:41
Speaker 5: in Niger, you know, I wrote all those commercials and
• 39:45
Speaker 5: I was laying in bed at night and I thought
• 39:47
Speaker 5: about pushing baby back ribs because anything else, they're not
• 39:52
Speaker 5: really ribs, you know, pork baby back ribs. And I
• 39:55
Speaker 5: thought talked about so many restaurants that were pushing ribs
• 40:00
Speaker 5: that didn't sell real ribs. And I said, if you
• 40:03
Speaker 5: go to a restaurant, order baby back ribs and if
• 40:08
Speaker 5: they don't have it, try some other item on the menu,
• 40:11
Speaker 5: or try the restaurant. Than in nineteen ninety one, in
• 40:14
Speaker 5: nineteen ninety two, so more baby back ribs than any
• 40:17
Speaker 5: restaurant in West Virginia and that place to go is
• 40:20
  Speaker 5: in nctron.
• 40:22
Speaker 3: What is it about baby back ribs that make them
• 40:24
  Speaker 3: so much better?
• 40:25
Speaker 5: You know, the density of the closeness of the bone
• 40:29
  Speaker 5: to the meat.
• 40:30
Speaker 3: Okay, all right, so you're gonna put recipes in this
• 40:33
Speaker 3: book too, or you talk about you got to talk
• 40:35
Speaker 3: about your time in the restaurant.
• 40:36
Speaker 5: That'll be the next book.
• 40:37
Speaker 3: Okay. So you went from not writing a book at
• 40:40
Speaker 3: all to writing now like a like a series of books.
• 40:45
Speaker 5: Is there any as much information I can get out there?
• 40:48
Speaker 5: Life for is about trying to affect as many people
• 40:53
Speaker 5: as you can affect in our life, trying to make
• 40:54
Speaker 5: the biggest mark we can make.
• 40:57
Speaker 3: Were there things when you you were setting down to
• 41:01
Speaker 3: write that you thought better leave that out?
• 41:04
Speaker 5: Well? Not very much. I mean, I'm pretty you know,
• 41:06
Speaker 5: Hoppy said you're pretty bad.
• 41:09
Speaker 3: I mean, that's one of the one things I appreciate
• 41:11
Speaker 3: about you in our friendship is that you you don't
• 41:16
Speaker 3: take yourself so seriously all the time I've said about myself,
• 41:20
Speaker 3: nobody makes fun to Dave more than Dave makes fun
• 41:22
Speaker 3: to Dave. And I and I and I kind of
• 41:24
Speaker 3: like there's probably a reason on a psychologist would have
• 41:26
Speaker 3: a field day with that, I guess or whatever. Uh,
• 41:29
Speaker 3: but uh, I just wondered, because you have led a very,
• 41:33
Speaker 3: very storied life. I mean the stories that you have
• 41:36
Speaker 3: told me, and you know, since we've in the in
• 41:40
Speaker 3: the past few years we've known each other, some of them,
• 41:43
Speaker 3: I'm thinking, he may I want to put that one
• 41:45
Speaker 3: in the book, Danny.
• 41:47
Speaker 5: No, it's well, obviously, you know, like I said, truth
• 41:50
Speaker 5: needs to be beautiful. And but one example, you know,
• 41:57
Speaker 5: when I was racing it in April nineteen sixty nine,
• 42:00
Speaker 5: I was eighteen years old and I was running that
• 42:03
Speaker 5: nomad down at Winfield and a guy ran me and
• 42:06
Speaker 5: he got he I mean I didn't lose any race.
• 42:10
Speaker 5: I only ross in the eliminations and I crossed the
• 42:14
Speaker 5: finish line and because that left lane had a dipend
• 42:18
Speaker 5: once I was very aware of, he went off the
• 42:20
Speaker 5: side of the track and he died. I mean, it's
• 42:24
  Speaker 5: tough stuff.
• 42:26
Speaker 3: How'd that affect you?
• 42:28
Speaker 5: Not so much in the beginning, but you know, at
• 42:31
Speaker 5: that time, I was the talk of all the white
• 42:32
Speaker 5: barber shops. And it's in that Three Things if you
• 42:38
Speaker 5: want to watch it on Facebook. But it's it was
• 42:45
  Speaker 5: pretty dramatic.
• 42:47
Speaker 3: Did you ever ever, I mean you were served in
• 42:50
Speaker 3: the House of course, you was sheriff, mayor multiple times.
• 42:54
Speaker 3: Did you ever think about running for governor or maybe
• 42:56
Speaker 3: maybe senate or or.
• 42:58
Speaker 5: Lots of pressure to run for governor? I mean I'm
• 43:01
Speaker 5: an entrepreneur, so uh and some people that you know,
• 43:06
Speaker 5: you don't think they liked you. Otis called me. Of
• 43:09
Speaker 5: all people, explain who Otis is? Yeah, I mean my my,
• 43:14
Speaker 5: my middle son's named after him. His mental name is.
• 43:17
Speaker 5: His name is Jared Lowry Jones.
• 43:20
Speaker 3: But but people called you and wanted you to run
• 43:22
  Speaker 3: for governor.
• 43:23
Speaker 5: Unbelievable amount of people. And Joe was already governor and
• 43:27
Speaker 5: I and you know, I knew he was aware of it.
• 43:30
Speaker 5: And he came up. You know, Joe'll go anywhere, Joe
• 43:33
Speaker 5: talking about yes, and we he came up to the
• 43:35
Speaker 5: third floor Cityhill. We go into our new council meeting
• 43:39
Speaker 5: room and only the press and two other people were there.
• 43:43
Speaker 5: And I said, let me make this very clear. I
• 43:47
Speaker 5: don't want his job and he doesn't want mine. The

Speaker 5: It's not as bad as you say as you think

Speaker 5: then Steve Cooper, smarter than most people I know, we
• 47:43
Speaker 5: did that thing over there and it was gone.
• 47:46
Speaker 3: I want to I want to talk to you about
• 47:49
Speaker 3: something else that happened in when you were away from
• 47:52
Speaker 3: us for a couple of weeks. Uh. Of course we've
• 47:54
Speaker 3: talked about the big beautiful bill, but also More Capital,
• 47:59
Speaker 3: You're a good friend, has been potentially is going to
• 48:02
Speaker 3: be the new attorney for the Southern District. The timing
• 48:05
Speaker 3: of that though, I mean, here's what I said about it,
• 48:09
Speaker 3: and I'm gonna get your reaction because people said, well,
• 48:11
Speaker 3: Shelley Moore Capito sold out whatever for her son to
• 48:13
Speaker 3: get that appointment. Number two things, Shelley Moore Capital was
• 48:16
Speaker 3: always a yes vote on that. If she didn't have
• 48:18
Speaker 3: a son named more Capital, she's a yes vote on that.
• 48:21
Speaker 3: And more Capital. This has been This was like the
• 48:23
Speaker 3: worst kept secret in the world. This has been talked
• 48:25
Speaker 3: about for six months or more that President Trump was
• 48:28
Speaker 3: going to try to get him that position. I mean,
• 48:31
Speaker 3: there's no quid pro quo here. In my opinion.
• 48:34
Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean, obviously she you know, we live in
• 48:38
Speaker 5: pretty frightening political times, and Shelley's healing and she's a
• 48:44
Speaker 5: great senator. And I posted about that now but big news.
• 48:48
Speaker 5: That's all I said in the article. And then, oh
• 48:51
Speaker 5: my goodness, they came after me. And finally I waited
• 48:55
Speaker 5: a day to respond, but.
• 48:58
Speaker 3: You agreed with me. I mean that that both those
• 49:01
Speaker 3: things were going to happen no matter what.
• 49:03
Speaker 5: Sure, And what people don't know is it was Don
• 49:05
Speaker 5: Junior that kept More from being governor in what way? Well,
• 49:09
Speaker 5: this PR guy made a post negative called Shelley rhino
• 49:13
Speaker 5: and that was it for more.
• 49:16
Speaker 3: We hear that term rhino thrown out there, kidding all
• 49:20
Speaker 3: of the time. And I had somebody, of course, on
• 49:25
Speaker 3: as I mentioned earlier on Saturday, the head of the
• 49:29
Speaker 3: Republican Party in the state, Matt Harry's, resigned.
• 49:32
Speaker 5: What a nice guy, very nice guy, very nice guy.
• 49:34
Speaker 3: And he handled it, you know. I mean, my dealings
• 49:36
Speaker 3: with him have always been great. But somebody commented when
• 49:41
Speaker 3: we shared the story that we that they hoe and
• 49:43
Speaker 3: I'm kind of paraphrasing here, we hope that we get
• 49:46
Speaker 3: a real Republican as the head of the party. Well,
• 49:49
Speaker 3: number one, you're not going to get a Democrat. You know,
• 49:51
Speaker 3: Pushkin's not going to come in and run the Republican Party.
• 49:53
Speaker 3: But I think what they were alluding to was we
• 49:56
Speaker 3: don't want a rhino in there. We don't want to rhino.
• 49:59
Speaker 3: I That term just bothers me for some reason, because
• 50:03
Speaker 3: it's like somebody decided that you are not you, but
• 50:07
Speaker 3: you are the decider of what a true Republican.
• 50:11
Speaker 5: Yeah, and Hoppy and and I we were called that
• 50:17
Speaker 5: incessantly and we're not Republicans. I got out of the
• 50:22
Speaker 5: party because of that.
• 50:23
Speaker 3: When did you leave the Republican.
• 50:24
Speaker 5: In twenty sixteen, when Trump I started taking Trump seriously,
• 50:29
Speaker 5: he was so incredibly funny until that gathering down in Mobile.
• 50:35
Speaker 3: What happened in the gathering Mobile.
• 50:37
Speaker 5: Well, I mean there's supposed to have six hundred people,
• 50:39
Speaker 5: thirty thousand showed up, and I said, whoa this this year?
• 50:41
Speaker 5: And Jeff Sessions of all people, endorsed him first United
• 50:45
  Speaker 5: States Senator.
• 50:47
Speaker 3: If you saw the post that the President put on
• 50:50
Speaker 3: truth Social yesterday, and I shared it on the day
• 50:55
Speaker 3: Vali radio page and also on my on my page.
• 51:00
Speaker 3: I there's two schools of thought here, I have Greg
• 51:03
Speaker 3: Thomas on the show. Greg Thomas says, well, he knows
• 51:05
Speaker 3: that people thinks he's crazy. He just does that as
• 51:08
Speaker 3: a diversion. He's really really not possibly something to be
• 51:11
Speaker 3: said for that. But I for one wish our president,
• 51:16
Speaker 3: no matter who it is, would go off social media.
• 51:18
Speaker 3: They have no business being on there, and it makes
• 51:19
Speaker 3: it just makes him look stupid. Now, I'd say the
• 51:21
Speaker 3: same thing if it worked, especially if it were Biden
• 51:25
Speaker 3: your your thoughts on that.
• 51:26
Speaker 5: That's how he crowds his space. That's how he fills
• 51:29
Speaker 5: up his space. And Eric and I when I was
• 51:31
Speaker 5: working here, Eric and I talked about because Eric really
• 51:34
Speaker 5: liked it, and my, uh my, he puts everything in
• 51:40
Speaker 5: cats and we figured out he was always misspelling words
• 51:45
Speaker 5: on purpose. Trump Oh yeah, yeah, I mean he was then.
• 51:49
Speaker 5: He probably not now, but he did.
• 51:52
Speaker 3: And the capitalization and you know, that's the that's I mean,
• 51:55
Speaker 3: capitalizing words and aren't supposed to capitalized that sort of thing.
• 51:58
Speaker 3: But look, it doesn't affect his base at all. I mean,
• 52:00
Speaker 3: I mean, they're I mean and that and that and
• 52:02
  Speaker 3: that's that's they're right.
• 52:03
Speaker 5: It's getting closer. Epstein is a big deal.
• 52:06
Speaker 3: All right, quickly Epstein. Oh shoot, you scared me when
• 52:10
Speaker 3: you said that, Danny. No, Professor, Professor Dervisher Witz. Uh huh.
• 52:14
Speaker 5: He's getting his statement. You know, he's one of the
• 52:17
Speaker 5: smartest people in the world. All right, what a great man.
• 52:20
Speaker 3: All right, so the Epstein list, Oh that looks it
• 52:23
Speaker 3: looks bad on the president. Oh my goodness, Yes, I agree, Danny.
• 52:27
Speaker 3: It's always a pleasure. I can't wait to have this book. Man.
• 52:29
Speaker 5: All right, we're working on it. It'll be a while,
• 52:31
Speaker 5: but we're working by Christmas. Maybe, well that'd be my
• 52:35
  Speaker 5: Christmas President.
