- MARK HAYES (00:01.582) All right, ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to another exciting edition of Two Men in Black and White, an Honest Conversation. Just a couple of friends, one black, one white, fighting for the pursuit of justice and democracy and telling the story through our lenses as a black man and a white Jewish man. All right, Brock, let's get right into it. Trump administration, those bunch of car clown idiots, clown car idiots. trying to figure out exactly how to get out of Iran in 25 days. First of all, there's nobody smart enough in this administration to get them out of there in 25 days. And second of all, yeah, it ain't gonna happen. Iran doesn't give a shit. And surprise, surprise, they're still fighting back. Brock Ganeles (00:54.653) 25 days is that did Trump say 25 days today that that was the target? Oh, I I somehow. Somehow I missed that. Yeah. And he's got the Saudis whispering in his ear that he should continue the fight and move the war to the next phase. Of course, they are so happy to see the full force of the American weaponry and military might directed at their enemy. MARK HAYES (00:57.534) Yeah. Yeah. MARK HAYES (01:02.614) Yeah, unbelievable. Brock Ganeles (01:25.307) So of course they're whispering in Trump's ear, paying off Jared and not exposing Trump's compromise. Then you have Netanyahu out saying that he'll decide when this war is over, not the United States of America. So we're giving him all this weaponry. We're feeding Israel all this money and all this weaponry, but yet Netanyahu is talking shit in the Middle East that basically he's in charge? MARK HAYES (01:29.737) Please. MARK HAYES (01:46.509) and power. Brock Ganeles (01:55.195) He's the top dog, we're supporting his efforts in the region, so he decides how things play out. So I just see us as looking weak and small in the Middle East. And I don't know who came up with the 25 days, but I mean, it just seems random and pulled out of his fucking ass. MARK HAYES (02:05.101) Hmm. MARK HAYES (02:12.811) Right. MARK HAYES (02:19.039) Yeah, it's- MARK HAYES (02:23.106) Well, exactly. When has Trump had strategy and forethought? We're acting like we're surprised that he came up with some arbitrary number to get out of this conflict. What he didn't realize, because he's never read any fucking thing, he doesn't even read the daily briefing, the security briefing that he gets every day, we're supposed to get every day, they probably don't even fucking give it to him anymore, because he, you know, turns it into fucking landfill. But This guy doesn't understand what kind of fucking hornet's nest he just kicked. He opened up a can of whoop ass on us that they've been preparing for two decades. They were ready for this shit. Look at all the money we're losing trying to counter offend what they're doing. We have no counter offensive. because they're sending 20, $30,000 drones at us six and seven, eight at a time. And we're firing off, you know, million dollar anti-defense system missiles to try to knock down a hundred thousand dollars worth of dronery, right? That's getting past us and blowing our shit up and hacking up our men and women in uniform. It is criminal what these people are doing. in an illegal war and we've got nobody standing up saying shit. No one is saying a thing. We're just letting it happen. Olly North is sitting there going, what the fucking fuck? How did I get hemmed up? All these folks who have been... you know, prosecuted to the fullest extent of military law, are sitting back and saying, what the fuck? These motherfuckers are in an illegal war and we're just watching it on television? And I went to prison. MARK HAYES (04:33.208) Dude, what next? How much worse can it get? Brock Ganeles (04:37.757) Apparently, we may be sending some ground troops to hit the boots on the ground potentially in Lebanon and I've already also read potentially in the island in Iran where they have all the nuclear reactors and some of their oil facilities. But they'll be sitting ducks there, right? We're going to take casualties. MARK HAYES (04:47.234) That's a rack. MARK HAYES (05:07.758) Right. Brock Ganeles (05:08.777) And for what reason? mean, I guess because gas is up an average of dollar a gallon across the country. So the American consumers are are getting screwed. And that's a way out on that topic. I mean, I just can't put the the talk and the strategies and outcomes together to where they come where they get to a place that makes sense. MARK HAYES (05:20.193) Right. Brock Ganeles (05:35.805) to so I just chalked it up to we're lost, we're being manipulated by our quote friends in the middle east and we're a billion dollars a day down the tube and we're triggering a global recession because these energy prices appear to be here to stay. MARK HAYES (05:58.464) Hey, who's excited about that? BP, Exxon, Brock Ganeles (06:05.181) Yeah, some natural gas, natural gas exporters. You know, I think you called it. Trump got into something that he can't get out of. You kind of have to be smart. It's a it's a puzzle now. It's a conundrum now. You know, he's made it complicated and he can't deal with complexity. So there's no fucking idea what to do. So he says something different every day and every, know, and they're all contradictory statements because he MARK HAYES (06:09.506) Yeah, because they're passing it on to the consumer. MARK HAYES (06:21.633) No doubt! Brock Ganeles (06:34.583) know, he took a simple equation, made it a complicated one. MARK HAYES (06:39.074) Right. Speaking of that, Trump said he doesn't trust anybody, but he said that he received a gift from one of the Iranian commanders suggesting that he was dealing with the right people over there who can shut this thing down. His quote was, they gave us a present and the present arrived today. He said that shit at the White House. Very big president worth a tremendous amount of money. And I'm not going to tell you what the president is, but it was a very significant prize. There's no prizes handed out in fucking war. What are you talking about? What the fuck are you talking about? Brock, I'm so sick of the stupid problem in America. Okay, we've got a stupid problem in our electorate. Okay, and we've got Brock Ganeles (07:21.019) I don't know what he's talking about there. MARK HAYES (07:37.826) the most incompetent people we could possibly find in Congress on the our side, right? Incompetent and stupid and white supremacist running this country from the executive level on down. And then we got a Supreme Court signing off on all the bullshit. We have a stupid problem in this country. Brock Ganeles (07:59.485) from them. MARK HAYES (08:06.789) Stupid has taken over. Brock Ganeles (08:08.625) I agree with you on all those points, but my frustration beyond the fact, my number one frustration in America is the fact that how the media and in essence, almost American society has just gone along with the fact that we have a dementia ridden lunatic running the country and we keep trying to take his words and actions and then put it into something that seems sane and normal. MARK HAYES (08:29.186) Okay. Brock Ganeles (08:36.603) versus just calling out every day that we have some someone so wildly unfit running the country, no matter the policy, so wildly unfit that that should be the conversation everyone's having every day. Like there's nothing else that we really should be talking about. Okay. That's that side of the equation. MARK HAYES (08:47.022) Who? Brock Ganeles (08:58.481) But of all the things you said about the stupid problem in Mago world and in the political class and in the entire Trump administration that we just have, you know, a lack of competence is still how soft and delusional so much of the Democratic Party is even 15 months into Trump two dot and living MARK HAYES (09:17.174) I know where you go. Brock Ganeles (09:27.087) with the lunacy of a dementia-ridden psychopath running our military and in essence quote leader of the free world. So my pet peeve today is the comments from Cory Booker who in general I like. love this 26 hours stand up and talk thing that he did and you know he's obviously a smart guy. He's ex-athlete so you know I'm biased towards that and in general he's a nice guy. MARK HAYES (09:49.591) Yeah. MARK HAYES (09:57.228) Yeah, well educated, smart. Brock Ganeles (09:57.905) But but maybe too nice to guy. So today comes out with a comment about that there's that in the Senate we have a crisis of conviction that there's good people on both sides of the aisle. Sounded like Trump's, you know. good people on both sides and Charlotte good people on both sides of the aisle. They're just afraid or unwilling to say things publicly. So he defines that as a crisis of conviction. But I'm like, Corey, you got the whole fucking thing wrong. MARK HAYES (10:19.586) No sacrifice. No sacrifice. MARK HAYES (10:32.843) Right. Brock Ganeles (10:34.811) By definition, they're not good people if they're afraid or unwilling to say things publicly. They have one of only a hundred seats in the U S Senate. They have this incredibly important perch that they sit on, that they've been given to influence the future and direction of America. And you say they're unwilling or afraid to act. on their true beliefs and you're trying to sell me on the fact that they're good fucking people. No, they're not Cory. Any more than the German in 1941 who was sitting at the coffee shop having a latte in the morning while the Jews were getting carted onto trains to concentration camps. No, just because they held the door open for you doesn't mean that they're good people. They're not good people. MARK HAYES (11:30.498) Right. Brock Ganeles (11:32.401) They're bad people. They don't have the inner strength. They don't have the moral compass to do what's right. So stop trying to sell me on them as good people. And the fact that that's what he wants to do, that he's going to take his airtime on television, in interviews to try to convince us that he's surrounded by good people in Maga world, in the Senate, instead of fighting them. and calling them out for being bad people working against the best interests of the the of the American public. What the fuck is he doing here? And he's supposed to be one of our leaders. And that's why Chuck Schumer is still the head of the Senate minority leader, because no one has any fucking gumption to actually make some shit happen. So as bad as much as I can't stand MAGA world, I'm just totally fucking exasperated with the democratic leadership. MARK HAYES (12:30.144) You and me both, brother. But here's the question I want to ask you. I know Cory Booker is not afraid. Right? I fully believe with my heart of hearts that he is not afraid to stand up and say what needs to be said. So why isn't he? I don't believe Hakeem Jeffries is afraid. He's from the BK. He's not afraid. Why isn't he standing up and saying what needs to be said? And what needs to be said is that Trump needs to fucking go. He needs to go. Why aren't our blue side leaders, the people who we thought, we thought. would legislate us out of this, would lead us out of this, would make a ruckus out of this. You know, the Moskowitz's, right? The Goldman's, right? The Jasmine Crockett's, the AOC's. Bernie said, we thought they would lead us out of this. I'm not hearing anything from them. What are we, are we all, What is this fucking wait till the midterm? Can this country survive till the midterms? Or is this country going to be butt-necked broke? Because we don't know what's in the coffers. We already know he's doubled, doubled the national debt. Right? What is it up to 39, 40 trillion? Dude, and who owns all that debt? Right? MARK HAYES (14:19.894) It's all coming back down to the American taxpayer. We're the ones getting fucking screwed here. And the people we sent to the Capitol to represent us are letting us down day after fucking day after day. There is no one to call. The cavalry is not coming. Brock Ganeles (14:41.053) I want go back to Cory. I want to know who the good people are. Lindsey Graham. Do I need to do I need to get to know Josh Hawley a little better? I I just don't know him well enough. He's really good person. Ted Cruz. So Ted Cruz, just, you know, Ted Ted's okay. I just haven't played enough. Uh, he's been rummy with Ted to know what a good guy he is. Okay. I know Lisa McCarty Murkowski is afraid. She's already told us she's afraid. She won't give up her seat, but she's afraid to do what's right. Okay. Thank you. Is he going to sell me on Susan Collins? Isn't so bad. She really is concerned all the time. I just want to know Rick Scott, Medicare fraudster. He's not such a bad guy. Just, you know, pilfered a couple, you know, half a billion along the way. So I just want to know who it is that we don't know well enough that we just aren't chummy enough with. MARK HAYES (15:10.222) Right. MARK HAYES (15:26.957) Good. Half a billion, yeah. Brock Ganeles (15:38.651) that we would understand that they're really good people. And yeah, they're okay. They're pro authoritarianism and they're all white supremacists, you know, and they don't mind if, you know, we take rights away from people and turn America into an oligarchy and support Trump and take away foreign aid so that there's, you know, dying babies all over Africa now because we had to cut that money for the aid. But somehow we can have know cryptocurrency money flowing to Trump's kids and Sharon Kushner can be running around the world you know getting his palms greased while we bomb Iran for Saudi Arabia and on behalf of Israel but so who are the good people they just totally agree with Corey they're just you know we don't know them well enough Mark that's our problem we just don't know they're all good people they're all fine they really deep down in their heart deep deep down there They're solid citizens and have a moral compass. But no, they're going to vote along with Trump and we're going to have Gustapo on the streets and we're going to throw brown people in concentration camps and we're going to bomb boats in the Caribbean and all that shit's fine. But you know, let's, let's take it from Corey. There's actually good people out there on both sides of the aisle. Yeah. Just, just good people. Just, you know, tough times, good people. We just, we just, we, the American public, we just don't know them all well enough. MARK HAYES (16:50.264) No. MARK HAYES (16:55.392) I'm not gonna buy it. MARK HAYES (17:00.098) Yeah, I'm not buying it. I'm not going for it. know, Lindsay, let's send your kids to war, Graham. You know, look, all these people are January 6thers, right? Josh Hawley, remember Josh Hawley with the fist up while he ran his ass away from the mob, right? These are all people that participated. in January 6th? Who, the good people. Let's continue the list, Brock. Is it Clarence Thomas's wife who was knee deep in January 6th providing transportation for these lunatics to come and loot and shit all over the place? To shit on the walls at our Capitol? The Capitol that you and I pay taxes to maintain? Who are the good people? Ivanka and Jared who made fucking $700 million dollars the last year of Trump 1.0. Who are the good fucking people? Corey Lewandowski? Who's getting his palm greased? Right? In order to get government contracts you gotta pay to play? I mean who is it? Is it the pedophiles from Epstein Island? Are those the good people? The names in the Epstein file? Are those the good people who took advantage of young women and children for what, two and a half decades? Who are the good? Brock, mean, list is distinguished, the list is long. And for him to come out and say that, Moscow Mitch. Brock Ganeles (18:47.707) Mitch is Mitch, Mitch McConnell on that's I'm like, Cory, name me, Cory name, names, name names. Let's have it out there. You tell me, you tell us, tell us all who you think are the good people that are afraid or unwilling to say things publicly. Let's go. Name the names, bring them out there. I want to know who the good people are. He ain't going to do it because he's full of shit. MARK HAYES (19:10.306) Yeah, he's not gonna do that. MARK HAYES (19:14.764) Yep. Yeah. Brock Ganeles (19:16.573) Cause he doesn't want to fight the fight. Cause it's easier to go that route and talk about how we have a crisis of conviction. We don't have a crisis of fucking conviction. Maga has plenty of conviction. Project 2025 has ages, pages of conviction. They know exactly the heritage fund, the three percenters, the proud boys, Maga world. They don't have a crisis of conviction. They know exactly where they stand. MARK HAYES (19:27.63) Is conviction. Of conviction. MARK HAYES (19:39.608) Yep. MARK HAYES (19:45.932) Yep. Brock Ganeles (19:46.449) They have plenty of conviction on exactly what and how America should operate. They're not caught in the middle. They're not independent. No, they're pretty set on exactly how they think things should go and what the hierarchy is amongst human beings here in America and who should be taken care of and who shouldn't. So I don't crisis of conviction. ain't the fucking problem. Corey. MARK HAYES (19:52.78) Yep. You're right. MARK HAYES (20:14.338) What you think of it? Brock Ganeles (20:16.261) No, we have a crisis of conviction on the left, on the democratic side, the resistance. We won't call this shit what it actually is. We're talking about playing for the fucking midterms. We can't survive that seven or eight months as any semblance of the democracy that we are. We want to go out and have a parade on Saturday and talk about no kings and then go home. MARK HAYES (20:21.89) Yes. Yes. MARK HAYES (20:27.106) Yes. MARK HAYES (20:42.85) Right. Brock Ganeles (20:44.637) and watch Netflix or the NCAA tournament and get up for brunch the next day. No one's staying out overnight on the streets. No one's mucking up the works. We're our protests on the weekend. MARK HAYES (20:57.282) Yeah, yeah, no, you're right, but look, I'm disgusted with it. It makes no sense. And you're right. Speaking of no kings, this weekend, we need to be out in full force. Again, you've heard it right here, over and over again on Two Men in Black and White. We need to get to DC. We need to stop protesting in Boise. We need to stop protesting in Riverside. We need to stop the protests in Fort Worth, right? We need to be in DC and make Donald Trump's life a living hell. But hey, nobody wants to use their vacation days to protest, right? Country's not that bad off. My 401k's still rockin' and rollin'. It's all good. I might invest into my I-stocks this weekend. why would I drive to D.C.? See, and that's the difference between the blue side and the red side. The red side said, fuck it, we'll go to prison. Fuck it, I'll take a chance. I'm storming the Capitol, and you know what? I'm even going there to murder Mike Pence if I have to. I got some gallows, got some wood and nails, I got some rope. And here we are on the blue side saying, fuck it, we'll stay home and watch the tournament. You got some popcorn and pizza, have some friends over, a little brewski, sit by the pool, the weather's getting nice. That's the difference. The difference is the conviction, brah. Brock Ganeles (22:34.799) We can't. Yeah, we can. We have the crisis of conviction. We can't even get leaders to stand up and say like, we need Trump removed right now. We need to disrupt American society and we need this referendum right fucking now. And we're not going to allow businesses to thrive. We're not going to allow business as usual. We're not going to allow the political machine to just roll along. MARK HAYES (22:44.961) Right. Brock Ganeles (23:02.619) We're actually going to disrupt American life. We're not just going to go for a nice walk down Fifth Avenue for two hours on a nice spring Saturday afternoon and then grab a Starbucks and go home afterwards. That's not a protest. That's a parade. MARK HAYES (23:19.071) It is not. That's a parade of well-off folks. Brock Ganeles (23:25.647) Yeah, that's a parade. Ukraine had a corrupt leader. They went and stood in front of the Capitol and didn't leave for three fucking months until that guy finally left. They put so much pressure on the entire system and there was a pushback to start and then that pushback faded because those that were doing the pushback, military and such, started questioning. MARK HAYES (23:28.258) Keep it noise locked down. MARK HAYES (23:36.012) Bye. Brock Ganeles (23:53.573) Why the fuck am I protecting this correct leader when I actually agree with those people on the street and then the tide turned and then that fucking guy high tailed it to Russia and then they got them out. Ukraine got democracy and they've been fighting for it ever fucking since. And we want to have parades and we don't want to have protests and our leaders don't want to talk about playing for the midterms and no one wants to come out and say we need Trump removed right now. MARK HAYES (24:08.544) ever since. Yep. Brock Ganeles (24:21.789) and we need to put enough pressure on MAGA World and their funders and their oligarchs and their billionaires to where they start losing, losing money. MARK HAYES (24:32.108) Yes. Brock, we have seen acts of heroism around the world. I always say, where's our Navalny? But let's look at Volodymyr Zelensky. I mean, that guy's got more courage in his big toe than Donald Trump has in his lineage, in the entire Trump male lineage. He is a courageous man. You know, he was mocked because he was a stand up comedian or actor or whatever. Okay, this guy has stared the devil in the eye and told them to fuck off. We're fighting to the finish. You know, if you can't get down with Ukraine, I don't know what's wrong with you. I don't know what's wrong with you. You know, I know how they did black and brown folks and wouldn't, didn't want to get them out of there. I don't give a shit about that. What I appreciate is that thing that we've talked about several times, which we are sorely lacking here in America, national pride, right? Canada has it. Ukraine has it. Iran has it. Iraq has it. Israel has it the Saudis have it. Why does everybody have Venezuela has it? Everybody's got national pride, but the fucking Americans the Americans are too busy trying to acquire shit and trying to make money They're too busy to fight Americans are too busy to fight right now Brock. That's that's the message we should take too busy trying to keep their cushy jobs. That's what's going on. And black Americans have basically tuned out. Black Americans don't give a fuck about this war, except for those with children or loved ones in the armed services. Cause we know they're the ones that are gonna be sent in first. MARK HAYES (26:49.58) Right? Just like Vietnam. Just like Afghanistan. They send us in. Right? The infantry. with a couple of cadets from West Point, a couple of graduates from West Point to lead us. Brock Ganeles (27:07.025) We had a guy come on the chat, a young kid came on the chat yesterday, sort of like, you know, in our circles, we're very radical and people are, you know, talking about some things that really will up, you know, throw, throw the whole system into disarray. And I'm like, great. You know what? Not hearing it, not seeing it. I guess I'll believe you that that talk is going on amongst Gen Zers. Haven't seen a lick of it. MARK HAYES (27:25.23) winning. Brock Ganeles (27:35.698) haven't seen anyone on the street. I guess that's just, you know, keyboard, keyboard warfare at this point in time. Right. So I was just like, I was like old guy, right? Show me something because you know, I'm to be dead soon. Like this is your, this is your country. You're allowing a bunch of old white guys make all the decisions, take all the money from you. They they're the ones that took your American dream away. So I was like, okay, show me something on that front. MARK HAYES (27:41.984) Right. MARK HAYES (27:47.404) Yeah, we're from Missouri. MARK HAYES (28:00.482) Look up your climate. Look up your climate. Brock Ganeles (28:05.693) And it's funny, as you were saying, they were throwing me that they throw the black people into war first. It was kind of striking how many ICE agents of color were the ones they sent to the airports. That was not the typical demographic of ICE, right? I think they found the 100 black and brown ICE agents and deployed all of them to the airports without masks to try to pretend like it's not a white national Gestapo. Now, I felt pissed off. MARK HAYES (28:17.364) Of course. MARK HAYES (28:21.518) No! MARK HAYES (28:28.973) Yeah! Brock Ganeles (28:35.101) and really almost like sad for those people of color that have stayed in ICE. I don't know if it's the only fucking job they think they can get because they should have quit yesterday. But yeah, they got played as pawns in even the airport game. MARK HAYES (28:52.46) Yeah, and that's why they kept them. They kept them for strategic. All right, when we gotta go into Baltimore, when you gotta go into Chicago, when you gotta go into Memphis, you're send the black ice agents in, Feel it out, right? Let's use them and see what the response looks like. And then we'll send in the oath keepers and three percenters, you know, to come in and start body slamming people. Brock Ganeles (28:57.883) Yeah, they break up bonuses. Brock Ganeles (29:21.723) Yeah, I just hate to see some people let themselves get used in that way. You know, they almost become part of the propaganda. They, you know, they're part of the propaganda effort. MARK HAYES (29:25.816) Yeah. Yes. That's exactly what's Unwilling participants in the propaganda effort. But, you know, what are they to do? Again, they got mortgages, Benefits, healthcare. Yep, yep, it happens very easily, unfortunately. All right, let's get up out of here with a couple of quick hits. What do you got for me? What do you have? What do you have? What do you have? Okay. Brock Ganeles (29:45.305) I see how it happens. Brock Ganeles (29:57.81) I got two. Number one, no Cinderella's in the NCAA basketball tournament. You know why? You know why? Cause once they turned it into a basically a professional league and started paying with the NIL basically college sports, college sports and oligarchy. The rules are for the very few teams. They set it up. So who gets to get invited to the tournament, the big conferences, they only play each other. They don't let anyone squeeze everyone else out. MARK HAYES (29:59.896) Give me one. MARK HAYES (30:04.138) At all. MARK HAYES (30:09.614) Yeah. goes with the money. Yeah. Brock Ganeles (30:27.849) and money begets more money and college sports is now just an oligarchy. Number one. Number two is I know I'm behind the curve on this because the show was on like four or five years ago, but I just discovered it and have watched two seasons of did you ever watch the man in the high tower? MARK HAYES (30:47.202) No. Brock Ganeles (30:48.527) I know I'm outing myself because it's on Amazon Prime, which I have because my wife hasn't gotten rid of Amazon Prime yet. So since we have it, actually tuned in. Apologies to all our viewers. The Man in the High Tower is a show about what the world would look like if Germany and Japan won World War II. MARK HAYES (30:58.486) Hehehehehe MARK HAYES (31:11.438) I did hear about that. Brock Ganeles (31:12.177) So it's really interesting because America is carved up into a German controlled region in the East Coast and a Japanese controlled region in the West Coast. And then like this like whatever they call the middle ground, I forget sort of like a fucking almost like wild wild west in the middle. They can try to get to to get away from oppression. But it's really interesting. You start. It's it's relevant because it's like what do the Americans do? Some of them just want to live their lives and get along to get along and have backyard barbecues and it's okay. Yeah, Nazis are running shit. And then there's the resistance that's risking their, it's risking their lives every day to try to upset the apple cart and get actually Germany and Japan to go to war and have chaos and just to figure out a way out of this shit. MARK HAYES (31:52.238) Alright, alright. MARK HAYES (32:00.76) Sure. MARK HAYES (32:07.702) Right. Brock Ganeles (32:08.413) And I think the way it started, still can't figure out the show, is that I think the scenario is that Germany got the atom bomb first. Like they beat us to the bomb. I think that's how they won the war, something like that. But anyway, it's worth a watch. Actually, we powered through two seasons in like two weeks. It's just so where we are today. And as I'm watching it, I'm like, God, I hope MARK HAYES (32:18.338) Well, right. MARK HAYES (32:23.168) Okay. MARK HAYES (32:29.121) wow. Okay. Brock Ganeles (32:37.689) and wish that I would have the courage to be one of the people in the resistance and not someone who just wants to get along despite the fact that my country has fucking disintegrated and I'm now living in an autocratic state. MARK HAYES (32:53.494) No doubt, no doubt. Yeah, I gotta check that out. Thanks for the recommendation. I appreciate it. All right, I got two. Brock Ganeles (33:02.345) One last thing on the resistance. It is black and white guys working together in the resistance. There's actual unity in the resistance because whatever I think they put the racism aside because Nazism is worse than getting along with a black guy. think, I think that's what went on. We didn't get the full backstory, but I think it's implied that they decided they can band together because Nazism is worse. MARK HAYES (33:13.068) Revolution. MARK HAYES (33:17.612) Hey. Wow. MARK HAYES (33:23.736) Right. MARK HAYES (33:27.116) Right. Wow. Good stuff. All right. Tyler Perry's second season of Beauty in Black. Very interesting. It's very Tyler Perry-ish in terms of style. People love this. Number one on Netflix. TV shows just this the second season just dropped the other day. So you can go get two full seasons. Very raw. Brock Ganeles (33:30.001) Alright, what you got for me? MARK HAYES (33:56.302) graphic, diabolical almost, but it gives you a little glimpse into the black hair industry and the black beauty care industry. And there's an interesting, you know, cultural kind of relevance to it. And so this one family is in charge of this huge, you know, beauty company. There are some allegations that come up. because of their products and then they have these side businesses that are very interesting. So it's an interesting watch but again a little dark but it's doing really well on Netflix and really well on social media getting a lot of in black beauty and black. All right yeah Netflix is safe. Brock Ganeles (34:43.801) What's the name of it? What's the name of it again? All right. I have Netflix. I have Netflix. Soon as I get, as soon as I power through, whether or not the resistance overthrows the autocracy, the men on the high tower, which I'm certainly rooting for, I'll, I'll zip over to Netflix and I'll, I'll watch, I'll dive, I'll dive into the culture. MARK HAYES (34:58.05) Yeah. MARK HAYES (35:02.444) Yeah. Bye. Cool. A New Mexico jury found Metta violated consumer protection law in that seven week trial about child safety and their online responsibilities with their platform, obviously Facebook and Instagram. The jury agreed that the allegations of Metta making false statements or misleading statements led to a $375 million penalty. Now that's... Not really. Yeah, it's it's not really. Yeah, it's. Right, and you know, here's the thing though. It's only 375 million, but the jury said that they engaged in unconscionable trade practices that unfairly took advantage of the vulnerabilities and inexperience of children. Now. What about those children that took their lives because of what they suffered through? On Metta. Brock Ganeles (35:38.509) come on. Slap on the fucking wrist. that's fucking nothing. Brock Ganeles (36:08.667) You can argue with that. If that's what the jury thought, you could argue that the company should be shut down. Shut them down. $375 million. It's fucking nothing. These fuckers don't even pay taxes, right? That's nothing. They'll write it. It's a write off. That's absolutely nothing. Okay. So they're absolutely dangerous and they lied and they cause harm to children and they get a slap on a slap on the risks. MARK HAYES (36:15.534) Shut it Shut it down! MARK HAYES (36:33.998) Children! Brock Ganeles (36:36.891) because in the end of the day, America doesn't protect its children, but we learned that in the Catholic Church, to the Epstein files, to fucking social media. MARK HAYES (36:46.158) Boom, boom, and boom. You know why? Because the money is too big. Don't want to shut down the flow of the money. And of course, you know, these social media platforms help us win elections. Brock Ganeles (37:01.565) 375 million. MARK HAYES (37:02.476) Meanwhile, yeah, 370. Zuckerberg probably has that in his pocket, that fucking clown. You know, that kid is the face of evil and he knows it. And the people working for him know it. You know, and if you haven't watched The Social Dilemma, it's worth a watch on Netflix. It's all about how, you know, social media has fucking ruined our society. But, you know, all right, it is what it is. It's a Tuesday heat, folks. We need you to like and subscribe. Brock, always a pleasure. We'll be back again tomorrow with more shitty news or are we gonna take Wednesday off? I mean, as long as we got some tequila and a little bit of cranberry juice or something to take the edge off, I guess we'll get through. Yes, sir. All right, bro, I'll see you tomorrow, my friend. Peace. Brock Ganeles (37:36.038) All Brock Ganeles (37:50.941) We'll try to make it back. Alright, it was a pleasure. Alright.
