- 0:13Speaker 1: zero seven ten. Let's go to Michael on the east side. Michael,
- 0:16Speaker 1: how are you hey? Mark?
- 0:20Speaker 2: Over nine in London there was a terrorist attack on
- 0:26Speaker 2: three Jewish ambulances that were parked in front of a
- 0:31Speaker 2: synagogue in Golden This.
- 0:33Speaker 1: Terrible, terrible anti semitism all over Europe and especially in London. Yeah, yeah,
- 0:38Speaker 1: all right, thanks for sharing a supple. Let's go to
- 0:41Speaker 1: uh Tom and Yonkers. Tom, how are you doing?
- 0:46Speaker 3: I'm okay, Mark, how are you good?
- 0:49Speaker 4: Good?
- 0:50Speaker 3: Too many commercials?
- 0:51Speaker 5: You've got to do something?
- 0:54Speaker 1: Well yeah, people say that, Yeah, how come we have
- 0:56Speaker 1: so many commercials? Why do you think we have so
- 0:58Speaker 1: many commercials?
- 1:00Speaker 5: Because you have to pay for the programs.
- 1:03Speaker 1: Well, yeah, you see, you listen to say I like
- 1:06Speaker 1: that other station they don't have but they have very
- 1:07Speaker 1: short breaks, only two minutes. Well that's because.
- 1:11Speaker 3: I've been listening to WR for seventy three years and
- 1:15Speaker 3: it's getting a little little too much.
- 1:18Speaker 1: I know, I know, but you see, we when you
- 1:20Speaker 1: get the big ratings, the problem is the advertising rate
- 1:24Speaker 1: goes up. And when you get a high rate for
- 1:26Speaker 1: the commercials, the sales department are they listening, Yeah, they're
- 1:30Speaker 1: all downstairs, they're on the fifth floor. They're well, they
- 1:33Speaker 1: just go crazy. They'll sell more commercials. You know, it's
- 1:35Speaker 1: a four minute break. Well, we're selling so many commercials
- 1:37Speaker 1: in the Okay, now it's a five minute break. Next,
- 1:39Speaker 1: you know, it's a six minute break. Not all the time.
- 1:41Speaker 1: But you can go down there and try to stop them,
- 1:45Speaker 1: but it's not going to work. So when you hear
- 1:47Speaker 1: a lot of commercials, it generally means ratings are very,
- 1:51Speaker 1: very very high, and the commercials are selling like crazy.
- 1:54Speaker 1: And when you listen somewhere else, you go, I like
- 1:56Speaker 1: that station. They don't have a lot of commercials. There's
- 1:59Speaker 1: a reason for that. So, uh, let's go to Dave
- 2:02Speaker 1: in Mahwa. Dave, how you doing, Andy Mark?
- 2:05Speaker 4: How are you today?
- 2:06Speaker 1: Good? Good space? You sound like you're one thousand miles away.
- 2:12Speaker 3: Well hold on, let me let me switch over to
- 2:15Speaker 3: the phone thing here.
- 2:16Speaker 5: Okay, oh god, all right, oh you're there now.
- 2:19Speaker 1: Let me ask you a question. It's like you got
- 2:21Speaker 1: two million people listening. How many have to listen before
- 2:23Speaker 1: you actually pick up the phone instead of using the speaker.
- 2:27Speaker 3: Yeah, well two million is not that much.
- 2:31Speaker 1: Five million before he actually holds the phone.
- 2:32Speaker 3: Five five. So listen, you're you're a smart guy, and
- 2:35Speaker 3: you've been saying that we're energy independent.
- 2:39Speaker 1: We don't need the oil oil independent, Yes.
- 2:41Speaker 3: Oil independent. We don't need we don't need the horror moves.
- 2:44Speaker 3: So whatever it's called. Yes, then how come the guest
- 2:48Speaker 3: prices are up a dollar?
- 2:49Speaker 1: Then, Mark, Well, because the w t I, which is
- 2:52Speaker 1: the Texas Crew that's mostly what we use, the wt
- 2:54Speaker 1: I has artificially raised it for no reason, just to
- 2:57Speaker 1: go along with the world. Expect this, and then that
- 3:00Speaker 1: week or two for the President to go after them
- 3:02Speaker 1: and make it put it. But there was absolutely no
- 3:05Speaker 1: reason whatsoever for them to raise the price on crude,
- 3:09Speaker 1: absolutely no reason. They did it just to do it.
- 3:12Speaker 1: So we have never done it before. But don't be
- 3:16Speaker 1: surprised if you see the President start to talk about
- 3:18Speaker 1: some kind of legislation, find something for They just raised
- 3:23Speaker 1: it for no reason at all. You know, also in
- 3:25Speaker 1: New York, California, other states, when the price drops, they
- 3:29Speaker 1: raise the tax just to keep the price where it was.
- 3:32Speaker 1: Let's go to Norman and Long Island, Norman.
- 3:34Speaker 4: How you doing, yoh hi, good morning, Mark.
- 3:37Speaker 1: Yes, normal.
- 3:38Speaker 4: Have you noticed the difference between the protests that are
- 3:44Speaker 4: against the war and for the war. How happy the
- 3:48Speaker 4: people are that are for the war and how nasty
- 3:51Speaker 4: and mean the people are who are against the war.
- 3:55Speaker 1: Yeah, where are these protests you're talking about? The left
- 3:58Speaker 1: wing protest against Well, well, but you remember they're protesting
- 4:03Speaker 1: all the time anyway, if there's no if the war
- 4:04Speaker 1: stops tomorrow, they'll still pro they find something else to protest.
- 4:08Speaker 1: They're always protesting, and many of them are filled, you know,
- 4:11Speaker 1: infiltrated with paid protesters who know how to look angry,
- 4:15Speaker 1: know how to rile everybody up. And also, if you
- 4:17Speaker 1: got Trump derangement syndrome, that's one of the symptoms. You're
- 4:19Speaker 1: just angry, just seething, raging with anger at all times.
- 4:24Speaker 1: Let's go to Ernie in Northport, Ernie, how.
- 4:26Speaker 5: You doing, Good morning, Mark.
- 4:29Speaker 4: I was just thinking about how much.
- 4:31Speaker 6: The people of Iran wish they had a Second Amendment.
- 4:35Speaker 1: Well, yeah, that's the argument, you know, you know, that's
- 4:40Speaker 1: what they do in the communist country or a dictatorship
- 4:42Speaker 1: for singing to disarm the population. Let's go to Wagner
- 4:47Speaker 1: in Philadelphia. Wagner, how you doing, Nay tomorrow?
- 4:50Speaker 5: Good?
- 4:50Speaker 3: Thank you for Austin season.
- 4:52Speaker 7: This democrats, I'm telling you these ulmos fielable, these people say,
- 4:57Speaker 7: who's in these people to go laying about and in
- 5:01Speaker 7: process about the no kings?
- 5:04Speaker 5: No, no dictator?
- 5:06Speaker 4: You know who our dictator?
- 5:08Speaker 6: Don't don't let nobody say something.
- 5:11Speaker 4: Run I get it.
- 5:12Speaker 7: Stop President and.
- 5:14Speaker 6: These people Umbelio. They're disrespecting our president. On I ninety
- 5:18Speaker 6: five here in Philadelphia, you can't see signs sign of
- 5:24Speaker 6: Trump sucking the suspecting the president.
- 5:29Speaker 7: Unbelievable.
- 5:29Speaker 1: All right, good call, thanks for calling. Yeah. They they're
- 5:32Speaker 1: having these no kings protests again now this weekend. It's
- 5:35Speaker 1: coming a weekend. There's a lot be a lot of
- 5:37Speaker 1: no kings protests. If you really hate kings, if you
- 5:42Speaker 1: really hate kings, you should be so happy the Ayatolla
- 5:46Speaker 1: was taking another that was a king, that was a dictator.
- 5:49Speaker 1: Let's go to Ted and Paramus. Ted.
- 5:51Speaker 5: How you doing, Yeah, Mark, let's see regarding the increase
- 5:58Speaker 5: in the price of the WTI oil. Yeah, okay. These
- 6:05Speaker 5: guys who run the oil fields, they know exactly how
- 6:09Speaker 5: much to get that oil that's down there in all
- 6:14Speaker 5: around their fields. How much it's gonna cost. They got
- 6:17Speaker 5: wells that work.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Well, it's not that simple. But the w there's different
- 6:21Speaker 1: types of oil. There's the UH, there's Brent crude, North
- 6:24Speaker 1: Atlantic oil, and the Europe uses mostly we use a
- 6:27Speaker 1: little of that. Most of the oil we use is
- 6:29Speaker 1: wti's Western Texas West Texas Intermediate, and the WTI has
- 6:35Speaker 1: been pretty bad about our just for no reason, all artificially,
- 6:38Speaker 1: artificially raising the price even though we don't need to.
- 6:41Speaker 1: If the store, if the straits of horn Moose close,
- 6:43Speaker 1: it doesn't affect us. We don't use that oil. We
- 6:47Speaker 1: may maybe maybe one point five percent. That's about it.
- 6:50Speaker 1: Europe is totally dependent on the straits of horn Mouse.
- 6:53Speaker 1: You could see the price increase over there, but here
- 6:56Speaker 1: not justified. Hey, when we come back, Bruce Blakeman will
- 6:59Speaker 1: be with us the next miner of New York. We'll
- 7:01Speaker 1: talk to Bruce Blakeman next on seven ten. Wor
