- 0:18Speaker 2: M. It is time leave your worries outside and laugh
- 0:24Speaker 2: with us inside the treehouse. I'm Dan o'mley along with
- 0:29Speaker 2: Trade Trendhole.
- 0:30Speaker 3: Dan, you've got uh it's like you're over modulated.
- 0:35Speaker 4: You're fuzzy on as a uh.
- 0:39Speaker 3: Like anything high end right now in my and maybe
- 0:41Speaker 3: it's me as God's.
- 0:43Speaker 2: Setting is where it normally is, I can lower it down.
- 0:46Speaker 4: So let me see if.
- 1:06Speaker 2: It is time to believe your worries outside and laugh with
- 1:10Speaker 2: us inside the treehouse. I'm Daniel Malley along with Trey
- 1:15Speaker 2: Trenholm and Raj Sharma. Today is Wednesday, May fourteenth, two
- 1:20Speaker 2: thousand and twenty five, and I believe we're now ready
- 1:27Speaker 2: to hear a tale about why Trey had to move
- 1:30Speaker 2: twice in two months, if that is, If that is
- 1:35Speaker 2: you're ready to tell it, Tray, is it too soon?
- 1:37Speaker 2: Is the PTSD too rich?
- 1:42Speaker 1: Oh?
- 1:45Speaker 4: Can you hear me?
- 1:46Speaker 2: Mm hmm Okay, it is time to leave your warriors
- 2:09Speaker 2: outside and laugh with us inside the treehouse. I'm Daniel
- 2:13Speaker 2: Mallley along with Trey trenholme Raj Sharma on Wednesday May fourteenth,
- 2:20Speaker 2: two thy twenty five. All right, it's been a few
- 2:24Speaker 2: days Trey, we are ready to hear the tale of
- 2:27Speaker 2: your apartment and what happened? Are you ready to tell
- 2:30Speaker 2: it or is it too soon?
- 2:34Speaker 4: Yeah? I can tell it. It's a.
- 2:39Speaker 3: It's it's not that that overly exciting.
- 2:43Speaker 2: I came home the initial text you sent the other day,
- 2:47Speaker 2: sure was, it was a good hook.
- 2:50Speaker 3: So yeah, I came home Wednesday night Thursday morning. So
- 2:56Speaker 3: I get home about three am and I turned the
- 2:59Speaker 3: corner to the hallway and I see there is standing water.
- 3:04Speaker 3: Not a good sign, hoping it's not mine. I then
- 3:08Speaker 3: walk in open my apartment and sure enough it is.
- 3:11Speaker 3: There is water everywhere. It is coming from the ceiling.
- 3:17Speaker 3: The animals are absolutely Actually, Daisy was okay.
- 3:22Speaker 4: Julius was just he had clearly.
- 3:27Speaker 3: Gotten caught on a little island and then there's water everywhere,
- 3:30Speaker 3: and he, uh, he didn't he didn't want to didn't
- 3:33Speaker 3: didn't want to get wet, So it was quite traumatic
- 3:35Speaker 3: for him.
- 3:37Speaker 2: The cat didn't want to get wet. Yeah, and uh,
- 3:40Speaker 2: I was really hoping you were going to say you
- 3:42Speaker 2: walked in and saw the animals canoeing around the apartment together.
- 3:50Speaker 4: Long story short, it turns out that.
- 3:54Speaker 3: The person on the fifth floor which is the top
- 3:56Speaker 3: floor above me. I guess left candle and uh, it
- 4:01Speaker 3: started a small fire, which set off the sprinkler system,
- 4:03Speaker 3: which then you know, trickled its way all the way down.
- 4:07Speaker 1: Mm hmmm.
- 4:10Speaker 2: I'm guessing then that the time that you've had between
- 4:13Speaker 2: this moment and telling us versus coming you know, the
- 4:17Speaker 2: next morning when you sent us the initial text, you've
- 4:22Speaker 2: had some time to process it. Because when you first
- 4:25Speaker 2: told us about what happened, your words were and I quote,
- 4:31Speaker 2: some twat left a candle learning last night and it
- 4:33Speaker 2: set off the sprinklers above me. Now I have to move.
- 4:39Speaker 3: And that is all very that, Yes, that that was accurate.
- 4:44Speaker 5: Yeah, but also that text could also mean two things
- 4:47Speaker 5: like my apartment flooded or I just murdered my upstairs neighbor.
- 4:50Speaker 4: I mean, if I knew who it was.
- 4:54Speaker 2: In fact, technically rage, we still don't know that he didn't.
- 5:00Speaker 3: The fact that by the time this is all said
- 5:02Speaker 3: and done, I will have moved three times in as
- 5:05Speaker 3: many months.
- 5:07Speaker 4: Well, you know, yeah, I could I could strangle a bit.
- 5:13Speaker 5: Yeah, that happened to me in college. I went to
- 5:18Speaker 5: I just went down to Southwest Texas my first week there,
- 5:21Speaker 5: and my class was on Wednesday night. It was a
- 5:23Speaker 5: three hour psychology class with doctor Ferringer. I go to
- 5:26Speaker 5: my class, I come home and I didn't have furniture yet,
- 5:28Speaker 5: so everything was on the floor. And I had gone
- 5:30Speaker 5: shopping at the outlet mall for all my school stuff
- 5:33Speaker 5: and like all my new clothes, and I walk in
- 5:36Speaker 5: I just hear like when I'm walking, I'm like, what
- 5:39Speaker 5: is that noise? And it's flooded, like everything is soaked
- 5:42Speaker 5: into the carpet. My clothes are all ruined, and they're like, well,
- 5:45Speaker 5: your pop off valve on your heat or popped off.
- 5:47Speaker 5: I'm like, I think that's its function. I think they
- 5:50Speaker 5: named it that for a reason. And then when I
- 5:52Speaker 5: was in Sherman Oaks, we kind of looked up in
- 5:55Speaker 5: the ceiling and the same thing was leaking. There was
- 5:57Speaker 5: a guy upstairs had a five hundred gallon aquarium and
- 6:02Speaker 5: he had gone on a business trip and the filter clogged,
- 6:06Speaker 5: so uh, he had to pay for all the damages
- 6:09Speaker 5: and brought us and this was very Americana, brought us
- 6:13Speaker 5: a blueberry pie.
- 6:15Speaker 2: A blueberry pie.
- 6:17Speaker 5: Make enough, this is Asian dude just standing in my
- 6:20Speaker 5: front door with a blueberry pie and goes sorry about
- 6:22Speaker 5: the flooding and just a pie and walked off.
- 6:26Speaker 2: Trade did the the individual with the candle that caused
- 6:30Speaker 2: all the water damage? Have they brought you a pie
- 6:32Speaker 2: or anything?
- 6:39Speaker 4: No, the they have not.
- 6:41Speaker 2: Maybe it's still coming. Maybe this will be a little patient,
- 6:44Speaker 2: Maybe you'll still get a pie or something.
- 6:47Speaker 1: They start another fire making the pie.
- 6:50Speaker 2: That would actually be pretty fitting. Uh, but you know
- 6:53Speaker 2: what there are there is some good news. I mean,
- 6:55Speaker 2: it looks like you got some you you were. It
- 6:58Speaker 2: looks like you were able to find someone to help
- 7:00Speaker 2: you move.
- 7:01Speaker 3: Yeah, I've got the wonderful Amy Newman mac here my
- 7:07Speaker 3: longtime best friend.
- 7:09Speaker 4: Nice.
- 7:10Speaker 1: So what are they what do they set you up at?
- 7:12Speaker 1: Are they helping with the move?
- 7:14Speaker 2: Are they so?
- 7:15Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 7:16Speaker 1: Kind of okay?
- 7:18Speaker 2: Are you in an Are you in an apartment in
- 7:21Speaker 2: your same apartment complex? Or are you now living with
- 7:27Speaker 2: Amy and Al?
- 7:29Speaker 4: No, I'm not. I'm not living with Amy and big Al.
- 7:32Speaker 5: Uh.
- 7:34Speaker 4: That'd be awkward.
- 7:39Speaker 2: You were able to move you within the complex?
- 7:43Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, it's one of those I had like
- 7:49Speaker 3: three options. This was the the best of of the
- 7:53Speaker 3: bad options, and I don't like it. I really liked
- 7:59Speaker 3: my apartment and so that's why I am this is
- 8:02Speaker 3: I'm going to be living out of boxes for the
- 8:04Speaker 3: next probably thirty days until I can move back into
- 8:06Speaker 3: my apartment.
- 8:08Speaker 1: Moved back into this place, the one that flooded.
- 8:11Speaker 4: Yes.
- 8:12Speaker 2: Oh, I think it's important though, that we focus on
- 8:15Speaker 2: the positive. I know it doesn't feel like it right now, Trey,
- 8:20Speaker 2: but your apartment flooding and you having to move can
- 8:24Speaker 2: have a positive spin if you want it to.
- 8:27Speaker 4: Oh I please.
- 8:30Speaker 2: So what you do is you just have to start
- 8:34Speaker 2: telling people that you are such a good lover, that
- 8:37Speaker 2: you took a lovely lady home, and you're so good
- 8:41Speaker 2: you flooded your own apartment. I like how everyone's head's
- 8:49Speaker 2: immediately hung in shame, especially Amy's behind you. Yeah, She's like,
- 8:56Speaker 2: that's never going to happen.
- 9:00Speaker 5: It's like what it would be like the the better
- 9:04Speaker 5: scenario would be, he's such a good lover, he lit
- 9:06Speaker 5: some candles, uh, and the and the love making got
- 9:09Speaker 5: so passionate that he burned his own place down.
- 9:12Speaker 1: And that's what's set off the sprinklers.
- 9:16Speaker 4: I can I can handle my own god shitten fire,
- 9:24Speaker 4: all right.
- 9:24Speaker 2: I see all those instances, and I will raise you
- 9:28Speaker 2: that Tray was such a good lover that the neighbor
- 9:32Speaker 2: above him felt the need to light a candle and
- 9:37Speaker 2: it started fire, and that's then the additional moisture into
- 9:41Speaker 2: the apartment. Therefore it flooded on two levels.
- 9:45Speaker 1: It a candle in prayer for the girl.
- 9:47Speaker 2: Yeah, it felt really bad for what was happening to
- 9:50Speaker 2: that poor girl downstairs.

- 11:27Speaker 2: Mallley along with Trey Trenholm and Raj Sharma. Today is Wednesday,
- 11:30Speaker 2: May fourteen, twenty twenty five. Trey, Unfortunately, the way that
- 11:37Speaker 2: your apartment flooded is not going to make it as
- 11:41Speaker 2: what I believe to be the stupidest story of the day.
- 11:46Speaker 2: Oh good, yeah, but the one I have certainly will.
- 11:50Speaker 2: So here I have for us today what I believe
- 11:53Speaker 2: to be the stupidest story of the day. A Florida
- 11:58Speaker 2: woman got arrested for shoving knatcha down her wife's pants. Okay,
- 12:06Speaker 2: all that, yeah, all right, A Florida woman got arrested
- 12:09Speaker 2: for shoving nachos down her wife's pants. Thirty nine year
- 12:14Speaker 2: old female. Her name is Alison Swan. She's now facing
- 12:17Speaker 2: battery charges for allegedly attacking her wife with a fistful
- 12:22Speaker 2: of nachos. This happened at their home in Port Saint
- 12:25Speaker 2: Lucy on Saturday, around three am, when all good stories happened. Meanwhile,
- 12:31Speaker 2: Alison was playing video games in the living room and
- 12:33Speaker 2: saw her wife making nachos in the kitchen at three am.
- 12:37Speaker 2: The wife told police Alison told her it was too
- 12:40Speaker 2: late to eat and made a comment about her weight.
- 12:44Speaker 2: So they started arguing, and Alison grabbed a handful of
- 12:47Speaker 2: cheesy nachos and shoved them down the back of her
- 12:50Speaker 2: wife's pants As she was changing into new pants. She
- 12:53Speaker 2: says Alison attacked her, pushed her against a wall, slammed
- 12:56Speaker 2: her head into the floor, and she ended up with
- 12:59Speaker 2: a knot on her forehead. She also said Alison held
- 13:01Speaker 2: her down and used her fingers to fish hook her
- 13:04Speaker 2: by the cheeks, all while telling her she was the
- 13:07Speaker 2: one in charge. Sounds a lot like how Trey's apartment flooded.
- 13:13Speaker 2: At some point during all of this, one of the
- 13:15Speaker 2: wives managed to call a friend. They called the police,
- 13:18Speaker 2: who showed up and arrested Alison for domestic battery. So again,
- 13:24Speaker 2: Florida woman got arrested for shoving nachos down her wife's pants.
- 13:27Speaker 2: And this is it. I believe we found it the
- 13:30Speaker 2: plot for the Caged heat reboot. They're separated by sea block,
- 13:35Speaker 2: but can they come together in the end.
- 13:39Speaker 3: When he first started the story, I thought it was
- 13:40Speaker 3: going to be some kind of like new method of
- 13:45Speaker 3: you know, running out on the bill like dash and dash.
- 13:54Speaker 5: My thing is, don't the police have to come in
- 13:58Speaker 5: and take pictures? Don't they like when it's a domestic
- 14:03Speaker 5: violence case, they have to come in and take pictures
- 14:05Speaker 5: of your injury.
- 14:05Speaker 1: Oh yeah, And he's like, all right, let me see
- 14:08Speaker 1: your butt. Yep, you under ste where the nachos went.
- 14:11Speaker 2: I'm glad you asked, because she tried to claim her
- 14:14Speaker 2: wife was just drunk and rolled around in the nachos
- 14:17Speaker 2: after throwing them against a wall. But parts of her
- 14:20Speaker 2: story did not add up, and so when police got there,
- 14:23Speaker 2: they found nacho cheese inside the victim's pants. Yes, so, yes,
- 14:29Speaker 2: the police did a very thorough investigation.
- 14:33Speaker 4: And this is one of the things that.
- 14:36Speaker 3: You know, it's not just the guys that can't get
- 14:40Speaker 3: away with saying something about a woman's fight.
- 14:44Speaker 2: I mean, that's a great point, Trey. You would think
- 14:48Speaker 2: that in a relationship, in a romantic relationship, you would
- 14:53Speaker 2: think a wife would know like two women right, two
- 14:57Speaker 2: women should know better than to criticize their significant others. Eight.
- 15:01Speaker 3: But and this is why the highest rate of domestic
- 15:04Speaker 3: violence is with lesbian couples, because no, they don't.
- 15:10Speaker 2: Okay, well said.
- 15:18Speaker 6: You're in the tree house.
- 15:23Speaker 7: Visit us online and freehouse OnAir dot com.
- 15:28Speaker 2: Let's get Daniel Cook from COOKDFW Roofing and Restoration into
- 15:31Speaker 2: the treehouse. Their number for your free roof inspection eight
- 15:34Speaker 2: three three Cook DFW, the website, COOKDFW dot com. The
- 15:38Speaker 2: RMS Treehouse Listeners Foundation exists to help the families of
- 15:42Speaker 2: fallen DFW police officers and firefighters killed in the line
- 15:46Speaker 2: of duty. And we've been very fortunate over the years
- 15:49Speaker 2: to partner with some outstanding companies wanting to help. And
- 15:53Speaker 2: today we get to add cookdfw's name to that list
- 15:56Speaker 2: of excellent sponsors to the foundation because Daniel, you and
- 15:59Speaker 2: your wife Carrie have said, you know what, we love
- 16:01Speaker 2: our community and we want to do something to give
- 16:03Speaker 2: back to our first responders in DFW.
- 16:06Speaker 9: Right, Dan, That's absolutely correct, and you know, truth be known,
- 16:10Speaker 9: Carrie has given to the foundation for quite so many years,
- 16:14Speaker 9: but now at a company level, I think we are
- 16:17Speaker 9: wanting to definitely you know, beef that up and start
- 16:21Speaker 9: giving back to the foundation. And it's unfortunately, this is
- 16:24Speaker 9: a foundation nobody wants to have to donate to, but
- 16:27Speaker 9: it's the real world is that these things do happen, and.
- 16:31Speaker 1: It's it's it's the type of.
- 16:32Speaker 9: Foundation that you don't want around, but you definitely want
- 16:35Speaker 9: it to be, you know, available to the families that
- 16:38Speaker 9: need it. And so over the next couple of months,
- 16:41Speaker 9: you know, a portion of all the proceeds from the
- 16:43Speaker 9: work done from Treehouse Listeners that call in and let
- 16:46Speaker 9: us know that they heard about you on the show,
- 16:48Speaker 9: we're going to be donating to the RMS Tree House
- 16:50Speaker 9: Listeners Foundation and making sure that we can keep that
- 16:55Speaker 9: very stable in the accounting side and and have funds
- 16:59Speaker 9: available that when the families need it, it's going to
- 17:01Speaker 9: be there.
- 17:02Speaker 4: So we're very.
- 17:03Speaker 9: Fortunate to be a part of the organization and we
- 17:06Speaker 9: look forward to try and assist and help it as much.
- 17:09Speaker 4: As we can.
- 17:09Speaker 2: Not only a company that cares about you as a client,
- 17:12Speaker 2: but Cook Dfwroofing and Restoration also cares about its first
- 17:15Speaker 2: responders in our communities, so give them a call for
- 17:18Speaker 2: your roofing and restoration needs. Eight three three Cook DFW

- 18:00Speaker 2: free roof inspection, or go to the website cookdfw dot com.
- 18:05Speaker 2: This is the tree House Show. I'm Dan, He's Trey.
- 18:07Speaker 2: That's Raj. Today is Wednesday, May fourteenth, twenty twenty five.
- 18:11Speaker 2: We were just laughing about the Florida Wives getting into
- 18:14Speaker 2: a domestic dispute where nachos were forced down one wife's
- 18:20Speaker 2: pants in retaliation for a comment about weight or something
- 18:24Speaker 2: or another. Raj, you had a very important detail you
- 18:28Speaker 2: were wondering about with the Florida Wives and the nachos fight.
- 18:31Speaker 1: Yes, opinions no hall opinions.
- 18:34Speaker 4: We don't know.
- 18:36Speaker 2: That could be the defend that's one of the big
- 18:38Speaker 2: that's one of the big details that was left out
- 18:40Speaker 2: of this story. So we're left to wonder, now spicy
- 18:42Speaker 2: nachos or not, because.
- 18:44Speaker 1: Then you'll get some juice trickling.
- 18:48Speaker 2: You might have had that anyways, exactly, at least in
- 18:54Speaker 2: the version of the story.
- 18:55Speaker 5: In all of our heads, well, we do know there's
- 18:58Speaker 5: safe for it isn't nachos.
- 19:00Speaker 3: So I feel like this story. I think there would
- 19:05Speaker 3: have been an even more violent turn on this if
- 19:08Speaker 3: there if jalapenos were involved, I.
- 19:13Speaker 1: Think so the anger level would have gone up.
- 19:15Speaker 4: Yeah, I think it's.
- 19:16Speaker 2: Uh yeah, I think they would have gone from misdemeanor
- 19:19Speaker 2: to felony.
- 19:20Speaker 1: Yeah, I swear.
- 19:21Speaker 5: Florida just sounds like they're just an ongoing ghas leak
- 19:24Speaker 5: in that entire entire state.
- 19:27Speaker 2: Just no one will close it. It's like.
- 19:30Speaker 5: They're just too high off the gas fumes. That's why
- 19:32Speaker 5: all these stories come out of Florida.
- 19:36Speaker 2: Speaking of raising the stakes, we mentioned the other day
- 19:40Speaker 2: that Tom Cruise's new Mission Impossible movie is coming out
- 19:44Speaker 2: in a week or two. Well that's not all because
- 19:48Speaker 2: there's been a new announcement made on the Mission Impossible front.
- 19:53Speaker 11: On May second, I'm coming to the great state of
- 19:56Speaker 11: Texas and I'll be visiting Fort Sam, Houston, and Santa
- 20:00Speaker 11: Antonio before stopping by some theaters to see you with
- 20:03Speaker 11: some of the first screenings of Mission Impossible The Final Reckoning.
- 20:07Speaker 6: Then we're going to fly to.
- 20:08Speaker 11: Dallas, where I'm going to get some delicious barbecue before
- 20:12Speaker 11: going to more theaters to say hello.
- 20:14Speaker 6: And I can't wait. We'll see at the movies.
- 20:18Speaker 2: So there you have it. Celebration, The announcement was made
- 20:21Speaker 2: that Tom Cruise is coming to Texas, including North Texas,
- 20:25Speaker 2: to visit people in theaters who are watching Mission Impossible
- 20:29Speaker 2: the Final Reckoning. They're calling it an announcement, but some
- 20:32Speaker 2: of us may see it as a warning.
- 20:35Speaker 3: Yeah, that's a if he's doing a radio junket.
- 20:39Speaker 4: This movie's trash.
- 20:42Speaker 2: He didn't say he's doing a radio junket. He just
- 20:44Speaker 2: said he's going to surprise people in theaters in Texas. Again,
- 20:51Speaker 2: I don't know if that's a selling point because some
- 20:54Speaker 2: of us who still remember Tom Cruise like crazy Tom
- 20:57Speaker 2: Cruise back in the day, dancing up and down on
- 21:00Speaker 2: risk couch, talking about how crazy and love he is
- 21:02Speaker 2: with what's her name from Dawson's Creek and talking to
- 21:06Speaker 2: Matt Lauer about how prescription pills are bad and Brooks
- 21:09Speaker 2: Shields isn't dealing with her postpartum depression very well. I
- 21:13Speaker 2: don't know if he's the person I want to pop
- 21:15Speaker 2: out in the middle of a movie theater.
- 21:17Speaker 1: Well he's following the suit with like the sorry go
- 21:19Speaker 1: ahead train.
- 21:23Speaker 3: Well he's yeah, but he's decidedly less scientology these days.
- 21:27Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 21:29Speaker 5: Yeah, and then he's it's following the Rocks thing, like
- 21:32Speaker 5: the Rock and Ryan Reynolds did that for for Deadpool
- 21:36Speaker 5: for the Last Rock movie, and then Ron Reynolds did
- 21:38Speaker 5: it and god, I can't remember his name now.
- 21:43Speaker 1: They did it for a dead Pool.
- 21:44Speaker 5: So it's a it's a pattern, like people are doing
- 21:46Speaker 5: that thing where they just pop into movie theaters. I
- 21:48Speaker 5: haven't seen anybody make an announcement, so that's kind of cool.
- 21:51Speaker 5: But yeah, he is out of scientology now.
- 21:53Speaker 1: Uh.
- 21:56Speaker 3: They did that like in LA and in New York,
- 21:57Speaker 3: which I which I can totally understand. Coming to Dallas
- 22:01Speaker 3: and coming to San Antonio. I mean I I now,
- 22:06Speaker 3: I I can't imagine the movie is bad because I mean,
- 22:11Speaker 3: Tom Tom Cruise is the greatest action hero of the
- 22:14Speaker 3: great greatest action movie star of our generation, and he
- 22:20Speaker 3: seldom really makes a bad movie, and the Mission Impossible
- 22:23Speaker 3: movies have all been fantastic.
- 22:24Speaker 4: But yeah, that is seems like a lot.
- 22:29Speaker 2: Just imagine you're at Pecan Lodge and in front of
- 22:34Speaker 2: you as a little man, but then he turns around
- 22:37Speaker 2: and you're like, holy crap, that's Tom Cruise.
- 22:39Speaker 1: Yeah, that probably doesn't happen.
- 22:42Speaker 5: They probably shut down Pecan Lodge so he can get
- 22:45Speaker 5: himself some brisket and then they reopened.
- 22:47Speaker 2: Well maybe maybe that's a maybe that's a subplot in
- 22:50Speaker 2: the new movie Mission Impossible, Final Reckoning Tom Cruise in
- 22:54Speaker 2: line at Pecan Lodge.
- 22:56Speaker 1: Yeah, I think it's gonna be Terry Black's.
- 22:58Speaker 5: I don't know what movie theater he'd go to, but
- 22:59Speaker 5: I think he's screening the at Fort Saint Houston.
- 23:02Speaker 1: He's screening it for the troops.
- 23:03Speaker 5: Okay, So I think that's like he's trying to you know,
- 23:06Speaker 5: it's just a it's just good publicity because he has
- 23:09Speaker 5: left Scientology and I think he wants to redo that image.
- 23:13Speaker 4: Has he left it or is he just he's just
- 23:15Speaker 4: not advocating for it.
- 23:17Speaker 5: No, he left because they're trying to get him back.
- 23:19Speaker 5: Like they had like a whole team of handlers that
- 23:21Speaker 5: used to go with him, about ten fourteen people because
- 23:24Speaker 5: almost all of like the big functions that Scientology would do,
- 23:27Speaker 5: he funded, so there was a big thing to do.
- 23:30Speaker 5: I think it was last year he showed up in
- 23:31Speaker 5: Kansas City on a rooftop bar for some couple's wedding
- 23:36Speaker 5: reception and paid for it and hung out and like
- 23:39Speaker 5: did like karaoke with them and bought like you know,
- 23:42Speaker 5: drinking beers and having a good time, and he only
- 23:43Speaker 5: had one security guy with him, and that kind of
- 23:46Speaker 5: led to it opening up that he was he had
- 23:49Speaker 5: left Scientology.
- 23:50Speaker 2: So Tom Cruise leaves Scientology and he becomes.
- 23:53Speaker 1: Awesome, yes and not weird.
- 23:56Speaker 2: Okay, Now I'm completely open to being in a movie
- 23:59Speaker 2: theater if Tom Cruise pops out, because had this been
- 24:02Speaker 2: ten fifteen years ago, I seeing a little man pop
- 24:06Speaker 2: out of a movie screen would have terrified me because
- 24:09Speaker 2: I would have thought it might have been the Leprechaun
- 24:11Speaker 2: or Tom Cruise. Now I wouldn't mind it so much.
- 24:14Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 24:15Speaker 5: I mean, also if he just popped up out of nowhere.
- 24:17Speaker 5: This is still Texas and people still carry guns Like
- 24:19Speaker 5: I wouldn't just pop up the theater.
- 24:23Speaker 1: Tom Cruise pops out of the ground.
- 24:25Speaker 5: Yeah, Tom Cruise fatally shot at movie theaters.
- 24:30Speaker 2: Well, he had a good run. Shouldn't come to Texas.
- 24:39Speaker 10: You're listening to the tree House. Visit us online that
- 24:42Speaker 10: Treehouse on Air dot com.
- 24:45Speaker 2: Turns out Tom Cruise going to Texas is the Final Reckoning.
- 25:05Speaker 6: You're in the Treehouse.
- 25:07Speaker 7: Visit us online at Treehouse OnAir dot com.
- 25:13Speaker 2: This is the Treehouse Show. I'm Daniel Malley along with
- 25:16Speaker 2: Trey Trenholm and Raj Sharma. Today is Wednesday, May fourteenth,
- 25:19Speaker 2: twenty twenty five. We were just talking about the announcement
- 25:22Speaker 2: slash warning that Tom Cruise is coming to Texas to
- 25:25Speaker 2: surprise movie theater goers at screenings of the new Mission
- 25:30Speaker 2: Impossible movie Mission Impossible, the Final Reckoning. Raj, you said,
- 25:34Speaker 2: you believe that Tom Cruise has left the Church of Scientology. Trey,
- 25:40Speaker 2: you're doing some internet slewthing and you think he's still
- 25:44Speaker 2: in Yes, okay.
- 25:47Speaker 3: Yeah, because it's talking about so he's in a relationship
- 25:49Speaker 3: with the Ana Dharamus and evidently That's probably one of
- 25:53Speaker 3: the sticking points is I don't think she'll join Scilentology.
- 25:56Speaker 2: She doesn't need to. She's doing just fine without them.
- 25:59Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, I don't know.
- 26:03Speaker 3: I mean I if you notice Scientology has actually been
- 26:07Speaker 3: very quiet the last couple of years the uh.
- 26:13Speaker 4: Oh Leah, what's her name?
- 26:15Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean that that show she did kind of
- 26:18Speaker 3: torch them and uh, in fact, there's they're quietly still
- 26:22Speaker 3: opening like a big new facility in Florida, but their leader,
- 26:28Speaker 3: I mean, because there's all sorts of questions about how
- 26:30Speaker 3: how they get their money and forced labor and and
- 26:34Speaker 3: people signing everything over to them.
- 26:35Speaker 4: And it's just.
- 26:37Speaker 5: Also that Brian Missavage's wife is missing, the leader of Scientology,
- 26:42Speaker 5: David David Miscavige.
- 26:44Speaker 3: Yeah, yes, wife has never been found.
- 26:48Speaker 5: Yeah, that's why all the all the press releases I
- 26:53Speaker 5: was just looking up about he hasn't left Scientology is
- 26:55Speaker 5: from Scientology.
- 26:57Speaker 1: So there. I think they're trying to be like, no, no.
- 26:59Speaker 5: We're still cool, We're still okay, we still got tom so,
- 27:02Speaker 5: I mean, who knows, she might be one of the
- 27:04Speaker 5: one to get him out. I know that's why Katie
- 27:06Speaker 5: Holmes left and the messed up thing was, uh, she
- 27:09Speaker 5: left him for Jamie Fox, who was in Collateral with
- 27:11Speaker 5: Tom Cruise.
- 27:14Speaker 1: Yeah, but you.
- 27:17Speaker 5: Didn't want to join either, So I think that's always
- 27:20Speaker 5: been every woman he's dated, he's tried to get to join,
- 27:23Speaker 5: and they're like, nah, you guys, should you guys? Your
- 27:27Speaker 5: leader's name is Ron, Like you know what I mean,
- 27:30Speaker 5: that's an old Bill burd But he's like, really, he's
- 27:32Speaker 5: got a Your leader has a driver's license, Like he's.
- 27:35Speaker 1: Got a Social Security card.
- 27:38Speaker 2: I the whole Scientology think. I'm always fascinated by it.
- 27:41Speaker 2: I'm fascinated like but like in the real life aspect
- 27:46Speaker 2: of the whole thing. Just imagine all the women, including
- 27:51Speaker 2: my sister, who had crazy crushes on Tom Cruise in
- 27:55Speaker 2: the eighties, and someone goes to them like in a
- 27:58Speaker 2: time machine and says, all right, tell.
- 28:00Speaker 6: You what.
- 28:03Speaker 2: I will allow it. I will I will make it
- 28:05Speaker 2: to where you can be with Tom Cruise someday. But
- 28:09Speaker 2: you got to join a wack adoodle church of scientology.
- 28:12Speaker 2: Are you up for it?
- 28:13Speaker 5: Yeah, you gotta sign a billion year contract. That's it
- 28:17Speaker 5: seems like a legitimate Yeah.
- 28:18Speaker 2: Time.
- 28:19Speaker 3: I still find it fascinating that a bleeping infomercial that
- 28:25Speaker 3: we grew up on for Dianetics turned out to spawn
- 28:30Speaker 3: a multi billion dollar Ponzi scheme.
- 28:34Speaker 5: Basically a billion dollar, multi billion dollars that's what I said.
- 28:38Speaker 5: Oh yeah, I said million. Uh so it's a it was.
- 28:41Speaker 5: You can look it up. I think it's called the
- 28:43Speaker 5: Greatest five dollar bet.
- 28:45Speaker 1: It's him, that's all.
- 28:46Speaker 5: Ron Hubbard and his buddy were drinking and he said
- 28:48Speaker 5: the only way to get rich in America is to
- 28:49Speaker 5: start your own religion. Is his buddy, because I'll bet
- 28:51Speaker 5: you five dollars you can't do it. And he's like,
- 28:53Speaker 5: hold my beer heart on him because it was just
- 28:57Speaker 5: a failed science fiction writer.
- 28:59Speaker 2: Well, and that's what I remember remember from that commercial
- 29:01Speaker 2: from the eighties. Tray is exactly what you're saying is
- 29:04Speaker 2: I remember seeing the commercial on TV for Dionetics by l.
- 29:08Speaker 2: Ron Hubbard, and based on the art and everything in
- 29:11Speaker 2: the TV spot, it just looked like a sci fi movie.
- 29:13Speaker 2: And I remember telling my mom one day, I was like,
- 29:16Speaker 2: is that a good book? Maybe I could read that.
- 29:18Speaker 2: Maybe it's like Star Wars or Star Treks. You think, no,
- 29:20Speaker 2: don't do that.
- 29:21Speaker 4: Well no, it was always but it's a self help thing.
- 29:25Speaker 3: That you didn't you know it was a cult basically,
- 29:29Speaker 3: And yeah, I mean Rob with the.
- 29:31Speaker 2: Cults, they never tell you up front.
- 29:33Speaker 3: Well that's like, uh Tilton, Robert Tilton. You know his
- 29:41Speaker 3: whole deal how he started. He was at Texas Tech
- 29:44Speaker 3: and he and he had three buddies and they were
- 29:46Speaker 3: sitting around and he could do the best televangelist of anyone.
- 29:50Speaker 3: And you know he took that and parlay that into
- 29:53Speaker 3: a multimillion dollar business.
- 29:55Speaker 5: Okay, if you guys get a chance, watched it's on
- 29:58Speaker 5: YouTube where Robert Tilton heals a man with a broken neck.
- 30:02Speaker 1: Have you seen this one?
- 30:03Speaker 2: I'm not the most fantastic one where Robert Tilton has
- 30:06Speaker 2: the farts. I've seen that like fifty times.
- 30:08Speaker 1: Yeah. He uh, there's a guy with a with It
- 30:12Speaker 1: wasn't a plant.
- 30:12Speaker 5: This guy was legit like he had broken his neck
- 30:14Speaker 5: in a car accident, so he had the neck brace
- 30:17Speaker 5: and I guess.
- 30:18Speaker 1: He thought it was one of the actors.
- 30:19Speaker 5: So he's like and he's healed, and grabs him by
- 30:22Speaker 5: the neck and starts shaking him and you can see
- 30:25Speaker 5: the guy's eyes roll back into his head when he
- 30:28Speaker 5: passes out. So he hits the ground and that's when
- 30:32Speaker 5: the oh crap hits Robert Tilton's head. And I'm not
- 30:36Speaker 5: making this up. Watch the video, it's on YouTube, and
- 30:37Speaker 5: it's fantastic. He keeps going with the sermon that he's doing,
- 30:41Speaker 5: and you see paramedics come up and just roll this
- 30:44Speaker 5: guy off the stage onto his stretcher. He rebroke the
- 30:47Speaker 5: guy's neck.
- 30:52Speaker 2: Well, you know what they say. The Lord works in
- 30:53Speaker 2: mysterious ways, and he wanted you to have two broken necks.

- 32:02Speaker 2: and Raj Sharma. Today is Wednesday, May fourteenth, twenty twenty five.
- 32:08Speaker 2: Let's celebrate today with some birthdays. Miranda Cosgrove turns thirty
- 32:14Speaker 2: two today. She plays Margo in the Despicable Me movies,
- 32:18Speaker 2: one of Jack Black's students in School of Rock, and
- 32:21Speaker 2: she is the star of I Carly NFL great Rob
- 32:27Speaker 2: Gronkowski is thirty six today. He's spent nine luscious seasons
- 32:31Speaker 2: with the New England Patriots and Tom Brady, and an
- 32:34Speaker 2: additional two with his best bro Tom Brady as a
- 32:38Speaker 2: Tampa Bay buccaneer. Rob Gronkowski thirty six years old. Today.
- 32:43Speaker 2: I realize that he's bigger and more famouser and all
- 32:48Speaker 2: that stuff, way more than I will ever be, way
- 32:50Speaker 2: more money and quote what some people would define, it's
- 32:53Speaker 2: more successful. But he's really terrible on TV. And I
- 32:57Speaker 2: don't know why they have him on it, the Fox
- 33:01Speaker 2: NFL thing. Some producer has got to be earning their
- 33:05Speaker 2: paycheck telling him what to say, because I have never
- 33:09Speaker 2: seen a bigger meathead in a suit on TV than
- 33:11Speaker 2: Rob Gronkowski.
- 33:13Speaker 1: Yes, he is an idiot, that is just what I mean.
- 33:17Speaker 5: Anything he acts in like on those commercials, like the
- 33:22Speaker 5: USAA commercials that he's with, Like you can just see
- 33:25Speaker 5: the disdain in Sam Elliott's eyes when he has to
- 33:29Speaker 5: be across from Rob Gronkowski.
- 33:31Speaker 2: I will give Rob Gronkowski credit that whenever someone asks
- 33:37Speaker 2: him a question on the Fox NFL pregame and he
- 33:39Speaker 2: doesn't respond with I give him credit. He had a
- 33:45Speaker 2: good day.
- 33:47Speaker 5: Yeah, there's some people with ct you don't put on
- 33:49Speaker 5: the air, and he's one of them.
- 33:53Speaker 2: I don't know if he has it or he didn't
- 33:57Speaker 2: have it to begin with, or have one.
- 33:59Speaker 1: He just developed it organically.
- 34:02Speaker 2: He was bored with it. The first child ever born
- 34:06Speaker 2: with CTE. Anyway, Happy birthday, Rob. He's thirty six today.
- 34:13Speaker 2: Other birthdays today. Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg is forty one today.
- 34:19Speaker 2: He started Facebook at his dorm room in two thousand
- 34:21Speaker 2: and four. Smartly did not name it misogyny book, which
- 34:26Speaker 2: is what it actually was when he started it in
- 34:29Speaker 2: two thousand and four with a couple of his buddies. Well,
- 34:33Speaker 2: now it worked out because he's now worth one hundred
- 34:35Speaker 2: and sixty four something billions of dollars, so he wins
- 34:41Speaker 2: in the end as far as money's concerned but questionable
- 34:47Speaker 2: origins there.
- 34:50Speaker 1: Oh, I don't think there was any question he was
- 34:51Speaker 1: to rate the women on campus.
- 34:53Speaker 7: No.
- 34:54Speaker 2: Yeah, but if you think about it, the method for
- 34:57Speaker 2: which Facebook came about, right, Facebook's story would not happen today. Yes,
- 35:04Speaker 2: I think the university would have shut that thing down
- 35:07Speaker 2: within twenty four hours.
- 35:09Speaker 5: Yeah, Texas State would have come up with it first,
- 35:10Speaker 5: but nobody knew how to use a computer.
- 35:12Speaker 2: Well, Texas State's version of Facebook. They didn't use faces
- 35:19Speaker 2: too shite.

- 36:06Speaker 2: This is the Treehouse Show. I'm Dan, that's Trey. He
- 36:09Speaker 2: is RAJ. Today is Monday, May fourteenth, twenty twenty five.
- 36:14Speaker 2: Just a little bit more here inside the Treehouse. Today.
- 36:18Speaker 2: A South Carolina man went into a kangaroo inclosure at
- 36:22Speaker 2: a petting zoo to roughhouse with a kangaroo. He's dead now.
- 36:26Speaker 1: H sounds about right.
- 36:29Speaker 4: Darwinism at its finest.
- 36:31Speaker 1: Amen really is.
- 36:34Speaker 2: Eric Slat's body was discovered inside the petting zoo facility
- 36:38Speaker 2: just before midnight on Friday night at the five Star
- 36:42Speaker 2: Farm near Loris, which is thirty miles north of Myrtle Beach. Slate,
- 36:47Speaker 2: who was fifty two, had a history of stepping into
- 36:51Speaker 2: the kangaroo enclosure and roughhousing with it, which is what
- 36:55Speaker 2: was happening at the time of his death. His brother
- 36:59Speaker 2: ran or runs the petting zoo that he died in.
- 37:06Speaker 2: According to a local council member, he says he had
- 37:11Speaker 2: a tendency to go in and rough house with this
- 37:14Speaker 2: kangaroo at the petting zoo, and on this particular occasion,
- 37:18Speaker 2: the local council member says, it just went south.
- 37:25Speaker 5: I don't know if you've ever seen them, like videos
- 37:28Speaker 5: of them fighting people like they're jacked.
- 37:32Speaker 1: It's ridiculous.
- 37:33Speaker 4: They're deers who went to prison.
- 37:37Speaker 2: They really are. And it's true, Trey, You're right, because
- 37:44Speaker 2: I mean, there are so many videos out there people
- 37:47Speaker 2: fighting kangaroos. The difference is the ones that we typically
- 37:51Speaker 2: see are the ones where the people come out on top.
- 37:54Speaker 2: I think they need to get the video of this
- 37:56Speaker 2: guy getting his ass whipped so bad it killed him.
- 37:58Speaker 2: They need to release that so people that you shouldn't
- 38:01Speaker 2: fight kangaroos, But we.
- 38:04Speaker 3: Always see the ones where it's punches. The problem with
- 38:07Speaker 3: kangaroos is what they're known for. The kick, the hop,
- 38:12Speaker 3: the leg strength, and they have talents at the end
- 38:14Speaker 3: of those legs, so you know, they kind of look
- 38:17Speaker 3: like their feet, you know, little velociraptors. So it takes
- 38:20Speaker 3: one kick that either they're gonna just crush your guts or.
- 38:24Speaker 5: You know, they might dis value that's right, and they
- 38:27Speaker 5: can balance on their tail and kick.
- 38:29Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 38:30Speaker 5: That's also the thing. You're not expecting that, Like when
- 38:32Speaker 5: it rears back on its tail, You're like, that's probably
- 38:34Speaker 5: what went through that guy's mind. It's like, oh, I
- 38:36Speaker 5: didn't I didn't see this coming.
- 38:39Speaker 2: Along with that kangaroo's foot.
- 38:42Speaker 4: I thought we were just boxing. Didn't know this was MMA.
- 38:48Speaker 1: Now. I would watch Kangaroo UFC.
- 38:50Speaker 2: I would watch that all absolutely. I don't know why
- 38:53Speaker 2: they let Russia have all the fun with all the
- 38:56Speaker 2: random fighting and things that happening, because I've seen it
- 38:59Speaker 2: with MMA on top of shipping containers. They have that
- 39:04Speaker 2: in Russia. They have the car jiu jitsu in Russia.
- 39:07Speaker 4: I'm with you.
- 39:08Speaker 2: Let's have a good old fashioned American kangaroo MMA tournament.
- 39:14Speaker 1: Oh yeah, just let Connor McGregor be first. Oh that's
- 39:18Speaker 1: what I want to see.
- 39:19Speaker 4: Tie this all together. Kangaroo versus Gronk.
- 39:27Speaker 2: If he comes out of that ring smart. I just
- 39:35Speaker 2: love it. This guy goes in the kangaroo and closure
- 39:37Speaker 2: tries to fight it and it kills him. It's like, dude,
- 39:40Speaker 2: do you clearly did not watch any Looney Tunes growing up,
