- 2:36our buddy Doug. All right, Joe, let's get right into the show
- 2:39here. We figured we could group a couple of these in together because there's
- 2:46just there's not a whole lot on them. There's some of these Martins we
- 2:52dive into and you just hit a brick wall and that's all there is to
- 2:57them. What we wanted to include in the entire presentation and this is and
- 3:01there's people like this that we didn't get a chance to actually put into our
- 3:05Lancer presentation that we're going to bring you here today. So all this is
- 3:07going to be new information. So to start it off with, I want
- 3:13to talk a little bit about a Martin by the name of John Martin,
- 3:22and we don't have a picture of John Martin, because he goes all the
- 3:28way back to I believe it was nineteen thirty nine, nineteen forty. In
- 3:36December of nineteen thirty nine, the secretary and treasurer of the Local two four
- 3:42sixty seven Scrap Iron and Junk Waiste Handlers Union, a guy by the name
- 3:49of Cook, Leon Cook, was mortally shot by the union's president, John
- 3:55Martin. And you might think, okay, well, what's the have to
- 4:00do with the Kennedy assassination. Well, Cook lingered about until January until he
- 4:09eventually passed away from his wounds. John Martin was acquitted in court, and
- 4:15not long after that was ousted by Paul red Dorfmann, who would emerge in
- 4:20the public eye ten years later as a power behind the rise of James Riddle
- 4:26HAFA of the Teamsters. Right So, according to the Warren Commission Report in
- 4:36volume twenty two, they indicated that an extensive search of police records did not
- 4:42reflect any reference to Jack Ruby or Jack Rubinstein, or to the murder of
- 4:46Leon Cook. Of course not. Jacob Rubinstein did not legally change his name
- 4:53to either Jack or Ruby until eight years after the shooting of Cook, whose
- 4:57surname came with an E and not how they spelled in the Warren Commission,
- 5:00which was with noe. So just how extensive of the search did the Warren
- 5:06Commission do? Well, they didn't have to look too far In the newspaper
- 5:14mortar of the Chicago Tribune dated December ninth, nineteen thirty nine, indicating that
- 5:20police were questioning the newly named secretary Treasurer Okay of the Scrap, Iron and
- 5:28Junk Waste Handler's Union newly named Treasurer Jacob Rubinstein, and a call to the
- 5:33State Attorney's office in Springfield, Illinois would have revealed that during Ruby's first year
- 5:39as the locals moneyman, the state of Illinois had seized the books and confiscated
- 5:44the charter of Local two four sixty seven on the grounds that it wasn't a
- 5:47union but in fact a fraud, a front for organized crime. So we
- 5:57have the president of the John Candler's Union shooting the former secretary treasurer of which
- 6:06Jack Ruby became after Cook passed away. So very interesting stuff here. Also
- 6:18the Tribune article, complete with the banner headline stating attorney shot union Row reported
- 6:25that Cook had been shot in the back the night before and then another union
- 6:28official, John Martin, was being sought as his assailant. Had also noted
- 6:31that Cook was an alleged bootlegger whose handling of the union finances was under investigation.
- 6:38According to the report, much the information was obtained from Jack Rubinstein,
- 6:44secretary of the union. Rubenstein was absent at the time of the shooting,
- 6:47allegedly beneath the photograph of Jack Ruby wearing a dark hat and suit similar to
- 6:54the ones he wore as he murdered Lee Harvey Oswald. Twenty two years later,
- 6:58the Tribune noted Jack rue Einstein was seized for questioning, while Ruby's associate,
- 7:02John Martin, was later convicted for the Leon Cook murder, which led
- 7:08to the Paul Dorfmann's takeover of the Union and subsequent power in establishing the HAFA
- 7:13Empire. The Warner report never cited Ruby's exact relationship to the episode in evaluating
- 7:19his associations. So imagine that one other thing I did find about this Johnny
- 7:28Martin, and it actually associates him with the mafia in Chicago, and not
- 7:34just as a Teamster president. There was a rat, a rat by the
- 7:41name of Jimmy the Weasel. Frediano Okay, and they didn't call him the
- 7:47weasel because he was a rat. They called him the weasel because he ran
- 7:50like a weasel and he had a very high pitched, squeaky voice. But
- 7:57the moniker would later fit. But Fratiano, okay, earned his nickname from
- 8:03running like a weasel from a pursuing police officer. Though like Benjamin Bugsy Sieguel,
- 8:09he was seldom called him. He was seldom called that to his face.
- 8:13He began working in gambling at age fourteen under the aegis of Johnny Martin,
- 8:18and within three years was Martin's equal partner in his operation near the Fisher
- 8:24Body Auto plant in Chicago. Fratiana would later go on to sell out a
- 8:35lot of his allies in the mafia, and he would enter the federal Witness
- 8:41Protection program and testify against his former family, breaking the vow he had made
- 8:46some twenty six years earlier. So yeah, that was a rat. He
- 8:56also helped co author the Book's Last Mafiosa and Vengeance Is Mine, where you
- 9:01can read more about the Weasel Joey Fraddiano and his association with Johnny John Martin
- 9:15and the Union and this whole ruby mess. Now I did see something out
- 9:20there where they alleged that Jack Ruby was the one that shot Cook. But
- 9:28I never found any any corroboration, a proof for that. And that's about
- 9:33it for Teamsters John Martin. Loose association, but an association nonetheless. Folks,
- 9:41Thank you, Colonel reb Yes, thank you, thank you for the
- 9:46super chat my friend. Always appreciated, always appreciated, Yes, sir,
- 9:54And it is a very interesting story, obviously, with these connections to the
- 10:01mafia and and the team stirs and I believe this was back in the Chicago
- 10:09days. Is that correct? Wrong? Yeah? Yeah, we're talking late
- 10:11thirties, early forties. And I just saw Roger, who does all the
- 10:16music here at the Londoming podcast his comment halfa could be buried in one of
- 10:22Jim du genias. I agree, Roger, that might be a good place
- 10:28to look. Yes, and thank you Roger for the instrumental. Jim d
- 10:35that wasn't his instrumental. Oh, you gave me false information. I didn't.
- 10:39I give you correct information, but you did not process it correctly.
- 10:43Oh, that is a common thing that happens in the assassination community. But
- 10:50explain it further then he is working on it, Yes, to replace the
- 10:56lame ass music that we have now got. Don't attribute that lame ass music.
- 11:03I actually want to dare you know. I wanted to make sure that
- 11:09and confirm that it wasn't his lame music, because his music is not lame.
- 11:15So okay, So we started with a John Martin from Chicago teams to
- 11:24that was associated with Ruby, and now we're going to move on to before
- 11:33we do. Thank you PSV Odyssey for the super chat. Much appreciated.
- 11:39Yes, James Tim Ashley, what is up, folks? Ev is in
- 11:41here tiny dancer? Yes, So I thought it would be appropriate to go
- 11:52to another John Martin, although he was commonly known as Johnny Martin and he
- 12:01was involved with the Audio Sisters. One of our graphics I showed in the
- 12:07beginning was of Sylvia Odio that was in the graphic. This is another one.
- 12:15She is obviously a very beautiful lady and was the received a lot of
- 12:24visitors during No she was dope, yeah, and she received a lot of
- 12:31visitors of callers, callers, visitors. But actually the Martin we're going to
- 12:43be talking about is mister Johnny Martin, and this Martin has a very interesting
- 12:50story. I am going to read from Sylvia Odio's HSCA interview in January of
- 12:58nineteen seven. Me six and this is this is funny. So they were
- 13:05talking about the visit from the Three Gentlemen and Leon and she stated that remind
- 13:15Sylvia Odio stated that reminded her of Johnny Martin. Johnny Martin quote came out
- 13:22of nowhere, out of the blue. Sorry. She said, that was
- 13:26a very strange thing. I don't know how he got involved with my sister
- 13:31Sirita, how he was introduced to her. The strange thing about him was
- 13:37that his family lived somewhere in the Latin American country and he had this laundry
- 13:46coin operated business, and that he operated. He would tell Sirita to bring
- 13:54her clothes there and wouldn't charge her. So do you think there was some
- 14:01smelling of some undergarments there? Rob easy, Joe, that's a family show
- 14:09now. Sorry. He already said he came out of nowhere, I mean,
- 14:13come on. And then Serita brought him over to our house and we
- 14:22started talking about a lot of things. He was very clever and we were
- 14:28very young, and soon he was telling us he could get us arms for
- 14:33our movement, which was of course Jurrey, and it continues. I got
- 14:41in contact with Eugenio Cesceinnarios, it says in quotations, and he told me
- 14:48he was coming to Dallas to meet mister Johnny Martin. Martin says he always
- 14:54seemed to be broke, yet he had a lot of contacts in the Latin
- 14:58American governments, so that raises a few red flags for me. He was
- 15:05actually from Uruguay, and I found a little clip it in John Armstrong's book
- 15:18Harvey and Lee, which you know a lot of people either agree or disagree
- 15:22with, but I don't think there's any debate that he was a tremendous researcher.
- 15:31And I will read from a person. He interviewed doctor Augustine Guitar.
- 15:41He okay, hold on one second. You know, if you get a
- 15:52little closer to the camera, you might be able to read it. Yeah.
- 15:56No, it's it's, of course one of those documents that's like copied
- 16:00over ten times, so it's ten like a million times hard as to read,
- 16:04Okay, he stated, I know I'm used to it because I'm looking
- 16:11close to try to read this document. He stated that Sylvia Odio parents prior
- 16:19to the rise of Castro maintained an excellent reputation in Cuba, and that he
- 16:26can considered Sylvia to be a highly to be highly intellectual who had made in
- 16:37who had maintained an excellent reputation, and her father, who owned some type
- 16:45of like trucking company in Cuba, a large trucking company, was a millionaire.
- 16:52So when you think about it, these exiles who are looking for funds
- 16:57for their causes, the Odios, the sisters Serita and Sylvio would have been
- 17:07great people to try to get in your circle. If it is indeed true
- 17:14that her father was a millionaire, and of course he was imprisoned at the
- 17:18time, Is that correct, rob not to mention the fact that they were
- 17:22all hot sisters. Yes, yes they were. Roger wouldn't blame him if
- 17:30he did. Yeah, I'm not gonna say what I'm going to say because
- 17:33my girlfriend might listen later. Although as many of our spouses might not be
- 17:42as interested in this type of discussion, and reef we're not. Yeah so
- 17:55so so. Johnny Martin established intimate relationship with Sirita Odio and then got into
- 18:10the house of the Odios and started offering them arms for their jury. Movement,
- 18:18and in one of the documents, I have it right here. Oh,
- 18:27it was actually the first one I read. It said, it reminded
- 18:30her of Johnny Martin, and she's referring to the leon Oswald incident where the
- 18:37three mysterious two Cubans and a white guy visited her. So this was prior
- 18:47to that, and this might have been the first attempt to get either the
- 19:02odio's money or their support or whatever else or some other good stuff from them.
- 19:14And then, of course the famous incident happens shortly before the assassination.
- 19:25So she stated, this is from Commission Document fifteen forty six, the FBI
- 19:34gam Gurbling report on October eighth, nineteen sixty four, stated, I'm sorry,
- 19:45Rob Jimbling Jim, Yes, Gerbiling, that's a whole different Yes,
- 19:51that's a whole different game with the have been involved with some Gerbils up the
- 19:56You know, we have to be safe because we got nicked last time for
- 20:02our last episode because we apparently did something wrong. So we're going to Gerbiling.
- 20:07I will be heavily surprised. Silvio stated she became very nervous regarding this
- 20:17possibility that the Cuban exiles might be accused of the president's death, and upon
- 20:23dwelling on this thought, had fainted at work and was taken to the hospital
- 20:30in Irving, Texas. This is a pretty well documented incident. A lot
- 20:34of researchers will know about that, will know about that. I believe it
- 20:38was brought up in the Warren Commission as well. If not, it was
- 20:41in the HCA. I can't remember off the top of my head. Too
- 20:45many Martins. And the last thing I'm going to talk about is in October
- 20:53nineteen sixty four interview actually Warren Commission testimony from Sylvia Odio, and she talks
- 21:07about how Johnny Martin had a relationship with a person named Eugenio from Miami.
- 21:18Does that ring any bells? Rop just possibly Eugenio Martinez known as Cia.
- 21:26You're operative, yes, sir, very well could have been. And in
- 21:33her Warrant Commission testimony, mister Leebler was questioning her and explained how Johnny Martin,
- 21:45you know, explained all the details on Johnny Martin and yes you and
- 21:51mister Leebert asks you actually did meet with Eugenio here in Dallas before you went
- 21:56to Puerto Rico. Oh, yes, did you Genio come, Eugenio come
- 22:00to Dallas at any other time to meet you? No? How many times
- 22:07have you met with Eugenio here in Dallas? Once that was in June of
- 22:11nineteen sixty three. So based on the Miami connection, arrived from Miami,
- 22:18I believe it's Eugenio Martinez. Another document in states it's Eugenio Cescenarios. So
- 22:26could have been an alias. Yes, as you know, are our presentation
- 22:36and some of our research is based on aliases. So it's a very interesting
- 22:44story with Johnny Martin, he was from Uruguay. He came out of nowhere.
- 22:49He offered them arms for their jury movement. Before the three unidentified men
- 22:57came to the doorstep of Sylvia Odio and actually they were looking for Serta,
- 23:04but when Sylvio said she was the oldest, they said, oh, we'll
- 23:08talk to you then. Uh. So it makes me think that both those
- 23:15visits were not known by the other party. What do you think about that?
- 23:23That's speculation, Yeah, I think the main thing, the main takeaway
- 23:27here is it's another John Martin, Johnny, Juan Martin, whatever you want
- 23:32to call them, ah coming into the picture. Before Oswald and trying to
- 23:38do the same thing to these Odio sisters help out their jury movement. And
- 23:48I don't I don't think you mentioned all the Warren Warren cast was Colonel Caster,
- 23:56Yes, ties to him as well. So lots of interesting stuff there,
- 24:02folks with Johnny Juan Martin. And also a little tidbit that you might
- 24:07not know, but I know you'll respect. Rob Mister Leebler invited Sera Odio
- 24:14to dinner with an unnamed lawyer the night. So she testified in the morning
- 24:19and then testified again at six thirty pm. Okay, And she tells a
- 24:27story of how she was pressured by them, how they were side talking around
- 24:33her, and and it's just it's it's crazy. And listen to this,
- 24:42Oh my god. Speaking of Martin's the guy his name was mister Martin Phillips
- 24:52who came and was of NBC who tried to put her on Dan rather CBS
- 25:00assassination special talk show. She refused to go on the show, but she
- 25:07talked to Phillips. She says she told part of the story to Phillips.
- 25:15Part of this her story to Phillips, as she had not mentioned to anyone
- 25:19else. So mister Phillips definitely accomplished his mission. And he then invited her
- 25:26up to her room. And this is from HCA notes taken by someone.
- 25:33This is not her testimony, This is notes, so keep that in mind.
- 25:41But he threatened her with a lie detector and made advance known as his
- 25:49penis. He made it and made advance in in the in the hotel room
- 25:56after dinner or maybe after her six point thirty second interview. But uh yeah,
- 26:07were they trying to honey tropp her? And based on her appearance,
- 26:11I can't really blame mister Martin Phillips like like like Tim says in the comments,
- 26:17Leebler was a player. He was, he was. I did not
- 26:22know that, and uh, Ashley, I had to google with where in
- 26:26the hell tener Reef is and I did and uh totally jealous now, so
- 26:32thanks for that. Crystal Blue Waters and in the Canary Islands off the coach
- 26:37of Spain must be nice. Let's see here, Mandy is in late but
- 26:48fashionably late, so welcome in, Mandy kid is in Martini could have been
- 26:56he like you did, like to go by the name you call me miss
- 27:00Martin. Though, yes, mister Martin, you call me mister Martin,
- 27:06and we have a couple other mister Martins too. There is a couple other
- 27:08mister Martin's we will get to, but he was one of them. I
- 27:15think we have three or four. Actually, yes, you call me mister,
- 27:21all right, So let's get into one of the more bigger, luckier
- 27:26Martin's that are associated with this case. And although not an official true last
- 27:37name Martin, he did use the alias Martin. You all know him,
- 27:45and I'm sure if you're familiar with the case at all, Jack Ruby's mafia
- 27:49buddy Lewis McWillie Lewis Joseph McWillie also known as Lewis Joseph Martin, Lewis Joseph
- 28:00Chapman Lewis Onney FBI number four four zero four zero sixty four is from Dallas,
- 28:08a gambler and murderer. Now this comes from a document, an FBI
- 28:15document, actually a DPD document dated April TEWOD nineteen fifty nine, where the
- 28:21Dallas Police Department received a letter from the Oklahoma City Police Department that Sydney seed
- 28:26Band FBI number seven seven three eight three three, a Dallas gambler, had
- 28:32been arrested in Oklahoma City and in his possessions where a large number of telephone
- 28:37numbers of Dallas and Fort Worth contacts. The Oklahoma City Police Department requested the
- 28:41Dallas Police Department to identify the following Dallas contacts. They were identify as as
- 28:47follows. Al Meadows is on this list. Oscar Cole kit Swain known as
- 28:52cotton Is adoor is He Miller Lewis, Joseph McWillie, Who's I just read
- 28:59you? Jesse Ray McPherson a gambler, Billy Ray Grimes gambler, Johnny Marshall
- 29:11of Shreveport, Louisiana, Joe where he owned a gambling house. Jack Killer
- 29:19of Killer's Drive In on Samuel's Boulevard, known associate of numerous gamblers. Freddie
- 29:25Merrill of Rockball, Texas, operates a gambling house with Chick Flornoy. Margie
- 29:32Moore resides at the YWCA. Known associate of Dallas gamblers. Are also known
- 29:38as a whore. Jack Ruby is on this list. Folks phone number LA
- 29:45eight four to two, four to three, operator of the Vegas Club on
- 29:48Oaklawn. And when I first saw this next name, I got excited because
- 29:56I was like son of a bitch, how how crazy is this? And
- 30:02would this be the next name on this list is Christian Day Christian with a
- 30:11K mind you Christian Day Christofferson FBI number three two nine two A two A
- 30:18of Winton Street in Dallas, known gambler. Okay, So I first saw
- 30:25this and I was like, Man, wouldn't that be crazy if this was
- 30:26really Chris Christofferson. I mean, how many people spell their name with a
- 30:30K and and have the last name Christofferson. Well, it turns out after
- 30:38a little bit of research, his name is actually Christopher with a K day.
- 30:44I don't know about his middle name. It never did run into that,
- 30:47but Christopher Christofferson. But this person may have been either a h a
- 30:55brother or cousin of the Christophferson. Because Chris Christofferson, you know, the
- 31:02famous songwriter, singer and movie star, is that is actually from Texas and
- 31:08close to Dallas to boot So, like I said, I got excited,
- 31:14but it was close but no cigar, but possibly a relative of his for
- 31:18sure. And then it says there was a phone number m A four three,
- 31:22zero zero or zero of fort Worth which was ascertained to be a gambling
- 31:26house at twenty two twenty two twenty two Jacksborough Highway, Fort Worth operated by
- 31:33Fay Kirkwood and Lewis Joseph mcwilly. Now to get back into mcwilly for a
- 31:45little bit in his association with Ruby. And he's tied in with all kinds
- 31:52of names you've heard of folks, So people like h al Capone, Sam
- 32:00Gencana, Johnny Roselli. So when Roselli returned to the West Coast, he
- 32:08called a hood named Lewis mcwilly, whom he had first met back in nineteen
- 32:13thirty eight when Roselli did a short stint as the Chicago representative to the San
- 32:17Succi casino in Havana, Cuba. Mcwilly had worked in Cuba for years,
- 32:23mostly for New York racketeer Meyer Lanski. Mcwilly was never clear to anyone on
- 32:29exactly what he did for Lanski, telling the Warrant commissioned only that he was
- 32:32a key man at Lanski's Tropicana casino in Cuba. When Castro booted Lansky out
- 32:38of Cuba, he brought mcwilly with him and placed him inside of his Las
- 32:43Vegas casino, the Tropicana in Las Vegas. Otherwise there was very little known
- 32:46about mcwilly, who also used the obvious alias of Lewis N. Martin L.
- 32:52Joseph Martin Okay, so he has two different Martin aliases. It is
- 32:59known that he had deep contacts within the New York and Chicago mobs. Although
- 33:01never a quote made member of any one specific outfit, the FBI kept him
- 33:07under surveillance and considered him to be a top mob hit man and enforcer for
- 33:13hire. Roselli told mcwilly that Chicago wanted him out at Sinatra's Cow Nueva Lodge
- 33:20to keep an eye on their investment in the place and to watch over Sinatra
- 33:23and report his activities back to Roselli. Mcgwilly did as he was told and
- 33:30created a job for himself at Sinatra's casino, working under the title of pit
- 33:34boss. But mcwilly, a training card shark, was no mere pit boss
- 33:37as he made himself out to be. Instead, he was a very rich,
- 33:43seasoned major gambler who traveled in the highest circles of organized crime, always
- 33:49driven around then a sleek new limo, and seldom went anywhere without a bodyguard.
- 33:52Whenever he worked in a mobbed up casino, it was always as a
- 33:55high level executive, several times removed from a lowly black jack dealer on the
- 34:00floor that he purported to be at. About that same time, McWillie was
- 34:07in frequent contact with Jack Ruby, the man who silenced Lee Harvey Oswald forever.
- 34:13In fact, one of the last persons Ruby spoke to before he leaped
- 34:15onto history stage was, in fact Lewis mcwilly. Little that is known about
- 34:22their odd relationship is that, according to what mcwilly told the Warren Commission,
- 34:25he and Ruby had known each other from their childhood days in Chicago, and
- 34:30mcwilly was Ruby's host for an eight day vacation in Cuba in August of nineteen
- 34:35fifty nine. That same year, the Dallas Police Department's Office of Intelligence listed
- 34:38Jack Ruby and Chicago Las Vegas hood Lewis mcwilly as being among those connected with
- 34:45mob run gambling in Dallas. Folks, gray haired and stylish mcwilly impressed the
- 34:52easily impressible Ruby, who admired mcwilly and called him a very high class type
- 34:58of poison who reminded Ruby of like a banker or a man who understood and
- 35:04enjoyed the finer things in this life which we are given. Yet after Ruby
- 35:09gunned down Oswald, the FBI asked him to draw a list entitled people who
- 35:14made dislike me, and at the top of the list was Lewis mcwilly.
- 35:22On Sunday, November seventeenth, five days before Kennedy was shot, Ruby showed
- 35:25up at the mob O one Star Dust Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada,
- 35:30where he invoked mcwilly's name to cash a check, and was later seen at
- 35:34the equally mobbed up thunder Bud Casino with Lewis mcwilly. Two days after meeting
- 35:38mcwilly in Las Vegas, Ruby was back in Dallas flush with enough cash to
- 35:44pay off his back taxes, which is important, folks. On November seventeenth,
- 35:52nineteen sixty three, mcwilly was seen with Jack Ruby, like I said,
- 35:55at the Thunderbird Casino in Las Vegas, and according to John William Tooey,
- 36:01two days after meeting McWilliam Vegas, Ruby was back in Dallas flush with
- 36:06enough cash to pay off his back taxes. I think he was caught with
- 36:10what five or eight thousand dollars in cash, Joe when when he was arrested
- 36:15after shooting Oswald. Yeah, eight thousands. Yeah, I don't know the
- 36:21exact was a good bit. Yeah, next up when it comes to I
- 36:34was looking at this this document here, and I don't know how well the
- 36:38camera is going to pick it up. Probably not too well. Mh,
- 36:45probably not too good. But we'll put it. It'll be up in the
- 36:47file section. Uh, We're gonna put a link down here in the description.
- 36:52I think it's already there. You can join our Locals community and get
- 36:54access to all of the stuff that we talk about here, all the files,
- 37:00all the documents, all that jazz. This one stands out because I
- 37:07believe it was an FBI document regarding David William Ferry, and they were talking
- 37:14about the trip to Texas where Melvin Coffee, Alvin Boboff, and David Ferry
- 37:22made the trip on November twenty fourth. They listed their address as six to
- 37:27eight six point eight North Pierce, New Orleans, which is a fake address,
- 37:32but they used their real names. And interesting here is that breck Wall,
- 37:44who David Ferry made a phone call to while he was in Texas,
- 37:50was a known associate of Jack Ruby. Breck Wall was like a theater guy.
- 37:57He did some kind of an act. I believe he performed at the
- 38:00Carousel Club before, but after the assassination went down, Breckwall would move from
- 38:07Dallas to Las Vegas, where he would go on a run at the Thunderbird
- 38:17Casino in Lounge run by Lewis McWillie. You know how sometimes these people they
- 38:23take their acts to Vegas and they have a you know, an extended stay
- 38:27of I think, yeah, residency. Thank you, Joe. So,
- 38:32that was nice of Lewis McWillie to do for breck Wall. And for those
- 38:37of you who've never have seen Breckwall, please do me a favor and head
- 38:45to the sixth Floor Museum website and look up their all histories and give old
- 38:50breck Walls a gander, because he's a very colorful fellow. I'll just say
- 38:57that, and you'll definitely enjoy his oral history. Let's see here if I
- 39:07got anything else on mcwilly. So at the end of the fifties fifty eight
- 39:17fifty nine, when he was serving as manager of the Meyer Lansky and Norman
- 39:25Rothman controlled Trafficana nightclub, he then became pit boss a Salon Rojo casino of
- 39:32the Capri Hotel controlled by Santo's traffic Conte, whom he visited a number of
- 39:38trips. A number of mcwilly trips from keep It to the US are documented
- 39:43in immigration records, providing Dallas home addresses on Raleigh Street, midple Terrace,
- 39:49and Homer Street. He entered the US from Cuba and fifty eight October,
- 39:52April, July, August fifty nineth, January, February, March, August,
- 39:57September, twice, October and November nineteen sixty and then again in January
- 40:01sixty one. So he was definitely going and staying in Cuba very very often
- 40:09in the late fifties early sixties. Now Ruby went to visit mcwilly and Havana
- 40:15in the summer of nineteen fifty nine. Mcwilly has sent him an airline ticket
- 40:20and arranged hotel accommodations, reportedly hoping that Ruby would bring Dallas newspaper reporter Tony
- 40:24Zappi with him. Zappi, however, did not make the trip. Recorres
- 40:30indicate that Ruby was in Cuba for more than a month. Mcwilly, however,
- 40:34insisted a visit was no longer than six days. Jack Ruby was that
- 40:37kind of fellow that six days would be long enough to be around him.
- 40:40Mcwilly once dated I'm sure he wasn't there a month or he probably would have
- 40:45killed him, he says. In the nineteen seventies, mcwilly was interviewed by
- 40:57the House Select Community Committee on Assassinations. The HSC learned that mcwilly had indeed
- 41:01made his own trips to the Triscornia camp while traffic Conte was confined there.
- 41:07That's the Cuban prison. At the time of his testimony, mcwilly said he
- 41:12was not certain whether Ruby had accompanied him on those trips or not. He
- 41:15says, I don't recall it, but he could have. Mcwilly said,
- 41:17I don't know for sure, and this is when Santo's traffic Conti was there,
- 41:22Lauren Hall was there. Possibly I can't remember the other guy's name through
- 41:34a re order from London or something or possibly yeah. Mcwilly said he went
- 41:39to Triscornia primarily to visit with his friend Giuseppe di Giorgio, but he also
- 41:44saw Dino Cellini, Jake Lansky, and traffic Conte. He says, I
- 41:49didn't talk to traffic Conte because I didn't know him that well to speak to
- 41:52him. Sure, you didn't mcwilly died in Las Vegas on January sixteenth,
- 41:58nineteen eighty six, at the ripe old age of seventy seven. Uh.
- 42:02And then yeah, a little known facts. Uh. He when he worked
- 42:14at something called the Dauville Casino in Cuba, and one of his fellow workers
- 42:19there was another John John Martin, Jay Martin, John Martino, so he
- 42:23knew John Martina. H. He visited Sanchos Trafficante and uh Mayer Lanski's brother
- 42:31in prison where Lauren Hall also was. And Jack Ruby visited at McWillie in
- 42:37Cuba. So you have all these names and people that are all kinds of
- 42:43interconnected. It even goes into uh, you know, David Ferry so a
- 42:51very into Westing. It was a very into Westing Martin. Uh for sure
- 42:59added to it the win with wibbitty wobbity with liberty Lobby liberally add the w's
- 43:07now to the ls. Yeah, you might have to add the w's as
- 43:09well. I can't speak. It's been a long day, Joe. Well,
- 43:15ironically our next margin might be have some type of W connection. Mm
- 43:22hmm maybe w mm hmm. I'm catching up on the chat now. Let
- 43:37me see. There was one question I wanted to address. Yeah, our
- 43:42background of money. Uh, symbols does not represent the FED. It represents
- 43:51that our research is money. So someone asked that before, and we do
- 43:58Malcolm Malcolm blood Man. I love that. Yeah, I'd love to smoke
- 44:02a big spat blunt with Malcolm Blunt. Oh, be awesome. That would
- 44:07be fun. I don't think he smokes though. H I'm sure he's up
- 44:12to trying anything once. Maybe hope it'll be fun. But uh, yeah,
- 44:22so what do you want to do? Uh? Do you want to
- 44:25move on? We're at forty five minutes ish forty four? Do you want
- 44:31to move on to mister James Wolford unless you have another Martin to go to?
- 44:40Yeah, let's do him. I have others, but this is the
- 44:44one I prepared today. Oh well, then, by all means, please
- 44:50proceed with that one. Oh I will, sir. Let me get my
- 44:55extensive power point skills ready. And uh. This is actually a very recent
- 45:06development as of today, because, as we've told you many times, our
- 45:09research is ongoing and we keep finding here we go, we keep finding new
- 45:15things. And one of the things we found, oh my god, a
- 45:22PowerPoint is terrible with YouTube. Okay, here we go. Here we go
- 45:30again. Flash point Take number two sixty three. Great movie, by the
- 45:37way, what movie does this pre point? Chris Christopherson film about loosely based
- 45:46about the assassination. Okay, I've never seen it. I gotta do that,
- 45:52always that flash dance. So this is James W. Martin and he
- 45:59was the direct Actor of Trade Development for the Court of New Orleans for the
- 46:05International trademark and as you could see by his picture, he seems like an
- 46:14intellectual and possibly a lawyer. Your pictures not on a screen there, Joseph.
- 46:21Oh sorry, let me go back and share apologies. Take two Okay,
- 46:35so this is James W. Martin. Do you see it now,
- 46:38Rob, Yeah, yeah, he looks like a child toucher, but yes,
- 46:46go ahead, yes. So we found this picture from an article from
- 46:55the Times pickyun in New Orleans. Joey, you know what, Candy mm
- 47:02hm. As long as it doesn't come from Judith Mary Baker, I'm cool
- 47:06with it. And h in the bottom left you're going to see with Simon
- 47:14R. James W. Martin left the left leftish gentleman that you see here,
- 47:22director of Trade Development at the Port of New Orleans and what do you
- 47:25think, Rob, if you were running ports, do you think you had
- 47:30any connection with a certain mafia? I would say their interests need to be
- 47:43represented, if you know what I'm saying. Yes, Yeah, there's also
- 47:47been a lot of Italian names. I was impressed by your pronounce the name,
- 47:53pronounce the nation. Here we go again, of all these Italian names,
- 48:01as I can't even pronounce the word. But that is me. I'm
- 48:05a researcher. I'm not an entertainer, although I do try to entertain.
- 48:08But getting into it, this is James W. Martin on the left right.
- 48:16So we've established that this is the bottom of the article, and it,
- 48:25you know, just kind of confirms that James W. Martin poor director,
- 48:31and you know, just more corroborating evidence because that's what we look for.
- 48:37We don't look for one document and try to misinterpret it. Although we're
- 48:40not perfect. But James W. Martin, who is this guy? Well,
- 48:51we're very interested to figure this out. And this is another article from
- 48:58the same year from the same newspaper of a group of European journalists visiting New
- 49:06Orleans. Interesting to note here that you have a Helsinki Finland journalists there which
- 49:19is obviously how Oswalt got into Russia and them, which stands for International Trademark
- 49:29trademarked. So I'm going to take you back a couple slides. Hang on,
- 49:32Joe, go back to that one. Read the very last sentence for
- 49:42me, if you could please. The journalists on a White House sponsored tour
- 49:45of the United States were honored at a press reception at the pill PILM.
- 49:52Saul Club Friday, plim Saw Club. Yes, yes, and folks out
- 49:59there who are paying attention and keeping score at home. The Plimsaal Club is
- 50:05where another Jay Martin was employed as the head chef, that being allegedly Jean
- 50:15Martin of the Cross aunt alias of Pierre Lafitte from the book Q in Dallas.
- 50:23I can't help myself. I'm sorry. And also there was another,
- 50:28uh, Jay Martin who was employed as the head of security at the International
- 50:35Trademark who we did not did not mention as well. Yes, John C.
- 50:38Martin would probably have been a much a good fit to include here,
- 50:45so yes, yeah, probably should have, but yeah he was. We
- 50:49are now, by god, Yes he is John C. Martin, and
- 50:52uh he kind of ran security and we have a photo of him and if
- 51:00I'll find that while you talk, okay, it's a you could tell you
- 51:04were in security. So he ran, he ran too, a box of
- 51:07donuts, he ran, He ran to probably a lot of things and people.
- 51:12But here we go on this article I believe I found out on Mary
- 51:20Farrell and it goes I T M six so that means international trademark six M.
- 51:29I have no idea what that means. This sixty nine is the data
- 51:32V article. So when you correspond that with the international trademark and this other
- 51:51international meeting, it's very interesting. And we will get to the next document,
- 51:59which is a document on from December tenth, nineteen sixty three from the
- 52:05Federal Bureau of Investigation also known as the FBI, the great agency that protects
- 52:19the truth. All Right, before you get into this, Martin, because
- 52:22folks, I'm not convinced that these are the same people. But Joe,
- 52:27Joe has a good feeling about it. So just stop sharing for a second
- 52:31and I'll show everybody what the head of security looks like. Sure, yeah,
- 52:45and that's the whole thing. Like Rob and I don't agree, you
- 52:46know, don't agree on everything. We have different thoughts. We think completely
- 52:52differently, and that's why we make I think we make a good team.
- 52:55And we're gonna show you some more evan on mister James Wolford Martin that might
- 53:07be of extreme interest and significance if we can tie them together, which I
- 53:15think I might have today. It's funny when you reread things and you have
- 53:23more context, you pick up on things you didn't when you read it the
- 53:29first time at the second time. So when you're ready, mister Rob,
- 53:35you can share your screen of the of the butchy fellow Marian's folks, head
- 53:45of security at the International Trademark, John C. Martin, And no,
- 53:52it is not a joke. This is really him. We were lucky to
- 53:55find his picture. And yeah, a very handsome fellow. Yeah, probably
- 54:02ate a lot of donuts in his downtime, drink a lot of coffee.
- 54:07He might have lived maybe two years after this picture was taken. Possibly,
- 54:13we don't know for sure, but yeah, that's another Martin working at the
- 54:20trade. Martin associated with you know, he counts, He counts definitely.
- 54:27And okay, so I'm gonna bring back up this other slide here, this
- 54:31other document here, and the reason we're showing these documents is because we want
- 54:40to debate and logically if these two Martins are in fact the same people.
- 54:50So this is an FBI document from December tenth, nineteen sixty three. Mister
- 54:54Wolford James Martin, commonly known as Jim Martin, attorney Davis Building, blah
- 55:02blah, blah, blah blah. Essentially, the short version is he was
- 55:07at the meeting on November twenty fourth at Jack Ruby and George Sender's apartment with
- 55:16the other unfortunate souls who did not live much longer than that, But mister
- 55:22Wilfrid James Martin did, and you got to wonder what he did to live
- 55:30and maybe was was gifted and a nice position at the ITM. That's also
- 55:39speculation, But this is, you know, and I also want to focus
- 55:45on the time of the document, December tenth. This is I put more
- 55:52credence in documents that are much closer to the assassination than ones that are years
- 56:00after, so before they were able to you know, perfect the cover up.
- 56:06So to say. This is the last part of that same document,
- 56:12and Martin volunteered that he had known George Senator for a year or two and
- 56:21that he had extensively interviewed Senator, and it's convinced that Ruby did not confine
- 56:27anything to Senator prior to the shooting of Oswald. He volunteered that he had
- 56:31interviewed employees of Ruby at the Carroncil Club and was told that Ruby before closing
- 56:37the club the day of the assassination, because he was so sad, of
- 56:42course, sat and brooded in the club and was repeatedly crying. Now,
- 56:49Rob, I'm gonna go on a little tangent here. Was he crying because
- 56:54of his sympathy for Jackie Kennedy or was he crying because he maybe realized he
- 57:05had to do a certain thing in the next twenty four hours? That is
- 57:09borderline. Well, I would definitely go with the latter. I think the
- 57:15whole thing about MSUs Kennedy would have to come back to Dallas was a bunch
- 57:20of horseshit. Oh completely, you know. I mean, we even have
- 57:23this guy. People have such short memories, but we even have this guy
- 57:28on video saying it was part of a much bigger conspiracy that involved the right
- 57:36wing and he wanted the hell out of Dallas. He wanted them to take
- 57:40him to Washington, where you can finally tell him the truth. He knew
- 57:45he was a dead man in Dallas if he stayed in Dallas, and that
- 57:49turned out to be true. I think when Oswald was taken alive, I
- 57:55think that he possibly knew that he would be called a to rectify the situation.
- 58:02And Dustly you have Ruby stalking Oswald all weekend from the police station,
- 58:10posing as a reporter, uh to weasel them his way into the parking garage
- 58:16at the very last second when he would have had a chance to take him
- 58:20out. He definitely waited the last second. Yeah, he could have easily
- 58:25shot him in the in the hallway of the Dallas Police Department. I think
- 58:30he knew he wasn't going to get away with it, but I mean,
- 58:35obviously there's that many cops around, you're not going to get away with it,
- 58:37especially if they know who you are. But it was I'm trying not
- 58:43to say that word. It was a a d life self deleting type of
- 58:51activity in terms of if not being self deleted and by proxy incarcerated for the
- 59:00extremely long time. Yeah, I mean, he may have had a thought
- 59:04that somebody will give him a medal for this and he'd never be prosecuted for
- 59:07it. But I don't think that's the case either. I think he knew.
- 59:10I think he knew what he would do. He would eventually be throwing
- 59:14his life away, and as he knew it, and things would have been
- 59:19a lot different for him for evermore. And who knows that a second chrial,
- 59:24you know, he might have gotten off. Who knows. We'll never
- 59:28know. But Walker said, the only way that Ruby's leaving the prison is
- 59:34in a box, which he did in a bag. And yes, that
- 59:42is a very good point. And yeah, it is very fascinating the Ruby
- 59:51story. And as we dig into it, we find connections to Ruby from
- 59:59a of Martins and it just intrigues our mind even more so, without further
- 1:00:07ado, let me continue on the James Wolford. So this is another document.
- 1:00:15It kind of corresponds with some of the other documents I found on mister
- 1:00:22James Wolford Jim Martin. Of course, they spelled his name backwards and they
- 1:00:28actually replaced O with the E. And as we know, the ic was
- 1:00:37not very accurate with their dates or names. In fact, it was meant
- 1:00:45to confuse and muddy waters. So that is my type of theory. We
- 1:00:52have another. Like I said, this is another document so hard to read.
- 1:00:55I tried to enhance it. As to George said editor, Martin said
- 1:01:00he was much closer to him and certainly believes he must have at one time
- 1:01:05or of another seen senator in a top or overcoat. And he's talking about
- 1:01:08some clothes. Martin, we're talking about the lawyer, the person who ran
- 1:01:15the ports of New Orleans said he is very unobservant in connection with matters of
- 1:01:23this kind. Does that sound like a lawyer a trait to you, Rob,
- 1:01:37No, I mean it sounds like he was out for himself pretty much
- 1:01:39and willing to do whatever. But all right, well that's why he survived.
- 1:01:45Yeah, yeah, so next we have well here we go. I
- 1:01:51would just interject here, Joe, the two of the other guys at this
- 1:01:54beating, one will kill with a karate chop to the throat and the other
- 1:01:59was shot in a police station by a cop. Yeah, and there was
- 1:02:05one more. I saw it on the list and he was just a reporter
- 1:02:09for a newspaper. So yeah, it's just an accident, pure accident.
- 1:02:15Yeah, misfired and he is into his head. He is the lucky Martin.
- 1:02:22So we are going to ask the audience, what do you think was
- 1:02:30mister Jim Martin the lawyer of Ruby and then Senator. I believe Rob.
- 1:02:40I think he represented them both. I could be wrong, don't quote me
- 1:02:44on that, but I think him and George were just really good friends,
- 1:02:47if you know what I mean. Oh, and here we go again.
- 1:02:57But he definitely had a relationship with Senator for you know, he said one
- 1:03:01or two years, so you could double or triple that. When the files,
- 1:03:05folks, you'll find about one hundred pages about Martin and Senator's relationship that
- 1:03:12really goes into a lot of detail that I still, for the life you
- 1:03:15can't understand why. But okay, yeah, and we'll give the little tease.
- 1:03:22I found one of my favorite Martins or no, actual I take that
- 1:03:28back, George Senator. He was a cook, actually, and he happened
- 1:03:37to cook for a certain family that took in the Oswalt family shortly after the
- 1:03:44assassination. And we'll get into that in that episode. But I found out
- 1:03:52today, I you tease, My jaw dropped, and I just want to
- 1:03:59do more of garification before I talk about it. And listen, this is
- 1:04:03our This is a working theory. Is Jim Martin, the lawyer that survived
- 1:04:12the Ruby Meeting the same one as the one in the trademark? Rob thinks
- 1:04:19no. I say no. But other than having the same name, I
- 1:04:26haven't seen any concrete proof of that, and until I do, I will
- 1:04:30not change my mind. But I'm always willing to have my mind change Joe.
- 1:04:33Of course, we both are because we do not have an agenda,
- 1:04:39and we encourage listeners to serve some documents. I think there's like sixty thousand
- 1:04:46documents that I was trying to go through in a few hours. And this
- 1:04:54is very much ongoing, so we're not saying this definitively. I want to
- 1:04:59make that clear, but there are a lot of correlations that are very suspicious.
- 1:05:05Sucks, as the young Men's would say, And yeah he was.
- 1:05:15There's no doubt that he was the lucky Martin, that's for sure, and
- 1:05:18as well as mc willie, who lived to a ripe old age, probably
- 1:05:25because like Lauren Hall and Trafficonte didn't say blank. That's right. That's a
- 1:05:36good place to wrap it up again, folks, thank you so much for
- 1:05:40joining us here live again. You blow us away every week by showing up
- 1:05:45and showing out, and we thank you again for the super chats and all
- 1:05:49the comments. And again, if you haven't yet, head to the link
- 1:05:53in the description. It's for Locals Support to show five dollars a month's all
- 1:05:58it is. You get access to all kinds of stuff you're not going to
- 1:06:00find anywhere else, including all of the files that we talk about here on
- 1:06:04this show, amongst some other good secret goodies, and our Lancer presentation and
- 1:06:11other things that will be up there in the future. So for Joe,
- 1:06:16Scabs, Brelly, Joey, Burrelly, you want to show up to you,
- 1:06:25Yes, whip it out, Joe. There's the remnants of the scooter
- 1:06:30incident of twenty twenty three in Dallas that you can hear all about on hits
- 1:06:39number. Yeah, that's the remnants. That's pretty nasty, dude. And
- 1:06:43that's a week after two weeks after yeah, two weeks aft. Yeah,
- 1:06:48God bless you. Oh you know, I do everything for the cause,
- 1:06:53but uh yeah, And we're open to any other new nicknames you may have
- 1:06:57for Joe. Yeah, we might create the chat of the best Hands.
- 1:07:02Yes, and we will consider all all of them. And we want your
- 1:07:08opinions on our working theory on Wilford Jim Martin, and we're going to create
- 1:07:16a thread on locals and we're happy for the people that are seriously want to
- 1:07:28move this forward to share documents we might have missed, and we will give
- 1:07:33an update to this and as we investigate more to either disprove or approve my
- 1:07:45theory, not Rob's. And we want your help. And we've said this
- 1:07:49before, we're about collaborative research. You might know some little tidbit that we
- 1:07:57don't, and if you can prove it, let's move this forward. And
- 1:08:02that's what we want to do. I think people are starting to understand,
- 1:08:08based on our last three episodes that that is our number one cause and and
- 1:08:19we want your help because we believe in collaborative research. And also the best
- 1:08:24way to support the show is on locals because YouTube messes with people, especially
- 1:08:32accounts that go into this topic, and they take a big percentage compared to
- 1:08:44other sites. So that yes, so that is the best way to support
