- 0:01Speaker 1: Jare you Katie and Josh one hundred?
- 0:04Speaker 2: This is embarrassing for Megan Maroney.
- 0:06Speaker 3: She was forced to abruptly cut her short her concert
- 0:10Speaker 3: short last night at Ball Arena because she she wasn't
- 0:13Speaker 3: feeling good and she tried to power through. Uh but
- 0:16Speaker 3: yet she was unable to make it through the entire show.
- 0:19Speaker 3: And here's what it sounded like.
- 0:20Speaker 4: Honestly, the littlest thing I ever wanted to do.
- 0:23Speaker 2: But I am obviously abstragistic.
- 0:27Speaker 5: And I thought I did everything to make myself.
- 0:30Speaker 4: Better, and then obviously I just can't play this show tonight.
- 0:33Speaker 2: I won't make it up to you guys. I absolutely
- 0:35Speaker 2: promise I'll be back.
- 0:36Speaker 4: You'll be all I want to give you, guys the
- 0:38Speaker 4: show you deserve. Any people really start.
- 0:47Speaker 3: And then she went just like that all over the stage.
- 0:51Speaker 3: But yeah, she didn't sound too good. But I gotta
- 0:53Speaker 3: tell you, that's probably got to be one of the
- 0:55Speaker 3: most awkward and embarrassing things ever for an artist who
- 0:59Speaker 3: has booked thousands of people at a venue and you
- 1:02Speaker 3: gotta walk out and.
- 1:03Speaker 2: Be like, hey, we got to cut this short. Oh yeah,
- 1:06Speaker 2: that's gotta be a horrible feeling.
- 1:08Speaker 4: Because you're used to just disappointing one person at a time, right, Yeah, Yeah.
- 1:11Speaker 2: I'm just used to disappointing my wife.
- 1:13Speaker 4: I ain't that same. I'm like one to two people
- 1:16Speaker 4: at a time.
- 1:16Speaker 3: Yes, usually my wife is disappointed in you too, actually,
- 1:20Speaker 3: Jeremy Katie Josh Mix one hundred.
- 1:23Speaker 2: If you're a fan of Chu Chuo Trains, Woo Woo.
- 1:28Speaker 6: Union Pacific's Big Boy number forty fourteen, it's gonna be
- 1:34Speaker 6: stopping at the tenth Street crossing in Greeley today from
- 1:38Speaker 6: about one fifteen to two pm.
- 1:41Speaker 2: It's a part of the Coast to.
- 1:43Speaker 3: Coast journey, Yeah, for America's two hundred and fiftieth anniversary.
- 1:47Speaker 2: So that's a big chew chew.
- 1:49Speaker 4: Big Boy's a big deal.
- 1:50Speaker 3: One hundred and thirty three feet long, and it weighs
- 1:53Speaker 3: about one point two million pounds.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Just shy at my mother in law.
- 1:59Speaker 4: It is really hard to just like talk about it
- 2:01Speaker 4: and do it justice. So it's one of those things
- 2:03Speaker 4: you have to see in real life to really appreciate.
- 2:06Speaker 4: I mean, it is massive.
- 2:07Speaker 2: You've seen the Big Boy.
- 2:08Speaker 4: That's the biggest train you'll ever seen, So you'll ever
- 2:10Speaker 4: see so absolutely.
- 2:11Speaker 2: Have you seen it though?
- 2:12Speaker 4: Have not?
- 2:13Speaker 2: Oh?
- 2:14Speaker 4: But I've heard about when.
- 2:16Speaker 2: You've got about in knowledge, because.
- 2:18Speaker 4: Like I've heard, I've heard stories a big boy. Just
- 2:20Speaker 4: because I haven't seen it with my own eyes doesn't
- 2:22Speaker 4: mean it's not true.
- 2:23Speaker 2: All right, look at you, you'd be like, yeah, I.
- 2:28Speaker 4: Was the conductor or something I was really sure about myself.
- 2:31Speaker 2: He's never seen it, but she hears it's fantastic.
- 2:36Speaker 4: Welcome.
- 2:36Speaker 2: I got an email.
- 2:38Speaker 3: All right, Well that is going on today up in Korealy,
- 2:43Speaker 3: so keep an eye out for that. All right, it's
- 2:44Speaker 3: time for some sports. Pretty funny moment happened during a
- 2:49Speaker 3: what game was it, Baltimore versus Detroit the Tigers. It's
- 2:54Speaker 3: another one of those incidents where a squirrel got out
- 2:57Speaker 3: on the field and he totally just erupted play.
- 3:01Speaker 2: And here's what it sounded like.
- 3:02Speaker 7: The chase for the squirrel is on, and the squirrel
- 3:05Speaker 7: is in the corner, and the squirrel is still eluding
- 3:08Speaker 7: an entire horde of ground screw members, and the squirrel's
- 3:11Speaker 7: free once again. Hemed in, no, I won't be hemden,
- 3:14Speaker 7: I have freehom on my mind, trying to go between
- 3:17Speaker 7: the legs, and eventually he gets away again and.
- 3:22Speaker 8: Hops through the towel and hops through another towel. The
- 3:25Speaker 8: force field is activated. Towels can't stop him, or maybe
- 3:29Speaker 8: they can.
- 3:30Speaker 3: I gotta tell you, I don't watch a lot of
- 3:31Speaker 3: baseball because it's so boring. But it's more stuff like
- 3:34Speaker 3: that happened, I'd probably be into it now. It's so funny,
- 3:37Speaker 3: probably the most exciting part of the game, right, thing
- 3:39Speaker 3: though easily.
- 3:39Speaker 9: And the baseball player trying to get him too with
- 3:41Speaker 9: his glove. He was trying to trap it with the glove.
- 3:43Speaker 9: It's happened a few times with the cats and other animals.
- 3:45Speaker 3: I think got catching the squirrel with a Yeah, we
- 3:47Speaker 3: gotta get a raccoon out there, or a lion.
- 3:50Speaker 2: Let's get a lion out on the field. How do
- 3:51Speaker 2: we make that happen?
- 3:52Speaker 4: I like the raccoon.
- 3:53Speaker 2: I'm gonna watch it. Yeah, peacock. Peacocks are maybe the
- 3:59Speaker 2: peacock there?
- 4:00Speaker 10: I go.
- 4:00Speaker 3: Want more thing for you, I guess Rob Gronkowski. And
- 4:03Speaker 3: Gronk is teaming up with eBay to do some trading
- 4:07Speaker 3: card stuff. He's big into sports memorability. He's a memorabilia guy,
- 4:11Speaker 3: says the story.
- 4:12Speaker 2: Anyway, The funny.
- 4:13Speaker 3: Part of this story is that he's always looking up
- 4:16Speaker 3: the price of his trading cards because his quote is,
- 4:21Speaker 3: you've got to see your value on the streets, because
- 4:24Speaker 3: if you're pulling cards and ripping decks, you got to
- 4:27Speaker 3: know your value.
- 4:28Speaker 2: That's what it's all about.
- 4:31Speaker 4: Does he really talk like that in real life?
- 4:36Speaker 2: Exactly? Quote right there from Gronk.
- 4:38Speaker 3: The funny thing about this, and I'm kind of upset
- 4:41Speaker 3: by this, because he's got some insider deals going on,
- 4:45Speaker 3: is he pulls cards of players he knows, like Brady,
- 4:49Speaker 3: you know, maybe some good stack of Brady cards. He
- 4:53Speaker 3: goes and has Brady sign him because he knows him,
- 4:56Speaker 3: and then their value skyrockets. Can you do that? That
- 5:00Speaker 3: seems like some insider trading or something.
- 5:02Speaker 2: Going on there.
- 5:03Speaker 4: That's not fair.
- 5:04Speaker 3: That's that's sketch to me. I don't like that at all.
- 5:07Speaker 3: And he goes out and has his friends sign the
- 5:09Speaker 3: cards and then they're worth more.
- 5:10Speaker 9: Well, does Brady get a cut because he's totally proppitting
- 5:12Speaker 9: off of his buddy, Like.
- 5:14Speaker 2: I don't like that at all. Gronk, that's not cool.
- 5:16Speaker 3: Oh, Gronk, that's so Gronk, All right, what else you want?
- 5:21Speaker 2: He's one of that story because the name Gronk.
- 5:23Speaker 9: Well, we're gonna go for the world of baseball and
- 5:25Speaker 9: football and trading cards, the world of swimming in the ocean.
- 5:29Speaker 2: This is what happened yesterday.
- 5:30Speaker 9: A sixteen year old lifeguard has been going crazy viral
- 5:34Speaker 9: because of the heroics that he did yesterday. The rookie
- 5:37Speaker 9: lifeguard named Ryder has been hailed a hero by many
- 5:40Speaker 9: for braving these monster ten foot swells all to save
- 5:43Speaker 9: a little child. So apparently it is El Nino's hurricane
- 5:47Speaker 9: season over on the West Coast and because of that,
- 5:50Speaker 9: these massive waves can kind of just come out of nowhere.
- 5:53Speaker 9: And because of his ability to save this child, again
- 5:56Speaker 9: only sixteen years old, not only has he gone viral,
- 5:59Speaker 9: but he's also gotten the attention of the President.
- 6:01Speaker 11: Yeah, the video of Rider went viral on social media
- 6:04Speaker 11: because he's seeing continuously being knocked down by the waves
- 6:09Speaker 11: while trying to hold.
- 6:10Speaker 2: Onto the child.
- 6:10Speaker 11: You can see him there with that safety device just
- 6:13Speaker 11: getting pummeled by the white water, but it kept getting
- 6:16Speaker 11: broken apart just by the sheer force of those waves.
- 6:19Speaker 2: That's a tough kid right there, for sure.
- 6:20Speaker 9: It's absolutely insane to watch and you see him like
- 6:24Speaker 9: even though he is a well trained lifeguard, although only
- 6:27Speaker 9: in his rookie season.
- 6:28Speaker 2: Those waves are hard to beat. Like he's not outswimming them.
- 6:31Speaker 9: You have to apparently go kind of with the wake
- 6:34Speaker 9: and with the swell and kind of work your way
- 6:36Speaker 9: like sideways, essentially swarming your well. Either way, President President
- 6:41Speaker 9: Trump did say he wants to invite him to the
- 6:43Speaker 9: White House and give him one of the highest civilian honors,
- 6:45Speaker 9: and I think that's well deserved.
- 6:46Speaker 2: I mean, he's hitting a life at sixteen years old.
- 6:49Speaker 2: Some of the biggest waves we've ever seen. Frankly, would
- 6:52Speaker 2: you see in so much.
- 6:55Speaker 9: Able to watch because you'll even see some of these
- 6:57Speaker 9: dads like they look like they're trying to help, and
- 6:59Speaker 9: then they even back.
- 7:00Speaker 2: So many dads were there.
- 7:02Speaker 4: You look at how he so many little boy and
- 7:04Speaker 4: then it takes four people to come in and save him.
- 7:07Speaker 12: Many people were there the child. Nobody had ever seen
- 7:13Speaker 12: anything like it, so much the whales within, the dolphins
- 7:17Speaker 12: were underneath watching it all.
- 7:19Speaker 4: It's incredibly impressive. Thankfully, that little boy's.
- 7:22Speaker 2: Okay, right, metal right.
- 7:26Speaker 4: The battle of anybody the biggest.
- 7:28Speaker 2: Medal ever, frankly, the biggest.
- 7:29Speaker 3: I got one more little bit of local news that
- 7:31Speaker 3: we didn't have time to squeeze into the hype.
- 7:35Speaker 2: We had a marmot story yesterday, didn't we did? What
- 7:38Speaker 2: was that about?
- 7:39Speaker 4: It was the Marmot Week and Colorado.
- 7:41Speaker 3: Fat Marmot and I called Katie a fat marmot. I
- 7:44Speaker 3: was going to get her a T shirt.
- 7:45Speaker 4: He made fun of gothic marment, got it?
- 7:47Speaker 3: That's right, boy, what a show yesterday was today's kind
- 7:53Speaker 3: of mediocre so far?
- 7:54Speaker 4: What do you mean?
- 7:55Speaker 3: So the Colorado Marmot Research program running since night teen
- 8:00Speaker 3: sixty two, they've lost some of their federal grants, so
- 8:05Speaker 3: they're turning to only fans. They've created a page called
- 8:12Speaker 3: only Marms and they're offering daily photos and videos of
- 8:16Speaker 3: the wild yellow bellied marmots.
- 8:19Speaker 2: Oh, they say it is gonna be g rated.
- 8:22Speaker 3: They're not gonna make it dirty or anything like that,
- 8:24Speaker 3: but they're just gonna have fun with the posting pictures
- 8:28Speaker 3: of marmots doing various things on the page, and then
- 8:31Speaker 3: on there there's.
- 8:31Speaker 2: Gonna be like a donate link.
- 8:33Speaker 3: You know, you can help fund the programs that protect
- 8:35Speaker 3: the marmints. This poor girl named Emily Ranki, she's this
- 8:40Speaker 3: story says she's a first year Masters student. She's working
- 8:44Speaker 3: so hard and she's she's got to manage a goofy
- 8:46Speaker 3: Marmots page.
- 8:47Speaker 2: She's like, this is what I'm doing with my college degree.
- 8:50Speaker 4: I guess anyway, good for her, but the worst things
- 8:53Speaker 4: you could be doing.
- 8:53Speaker 11: I know.
- 8:53Speaker 2: It's kind of sweet. Actually it's really cute.
- 8:56Speaker 3: There's additional fundraising, including a be out there called Marmott
- 9:01Speaker 3: tears Ipa and you can get it at the Fat
- 9:05Speaker 3: Marmot Week event that's coming up in August.
- 9:08Speaker 13: We've got receipts, We've got drummers, we've got Denver talking.
- 9:13Speaker 4: It's the mile high Height where the JKJ legends and
- 9:17Speaker 4: icons on makes one hundred.
- 9:19Speaker 2: Well check out this possible reboot.
- 9:21Speaker 3: McCaulay Colkin is sharing an idea for a home alone sequel.
- 9:27Speaker 3: He did it in promotion of the thirtieth anniversary, but
- 9:31Speaker 3: I guess he's been meeting with Disney to try to
- 9:34Speaker 3: bring it to life. But his idea is that Kevin
- 9:37Speaker 3: McAllister is widowed or maybe even divorced, and he's raising
- 9:41Speaker 3: a sun by himself.
- 9:43Speaker 2: He says he's working really.
- 9:44Speaker 3: Hard but not paying enough attention to the kid, and
- 9:49Speaker 3: the kid is getting miffed at me is his quote.
- 9:52Speaker 2: And then I get locked out of the house.
- 9:53Speaker 3: My son won't let me in and he's the one
- 9:56Speaker 3: setting traps for me, and the house is some sort
- 10:00Speaker 3: of metaphor for our relationship.
- 10:02Speaker 2: Boring.
- 10:05Speaker 3: Anyway, Disney is like up his butt about this. They say,
- 10:09Speaker 3: they are, well, the quote is kissing his butts, and
- 10:12Speaker 3: they really want to.
- 10:12Speaker 2: Make this happen. I guess so it'd be kind of
- 10:15Speaker 2: fun for a new generation.
- 10:17Speaker 4: Yeah, you know, I think we'd go also, just because
- 10:19Speaker 4: of the nostalgic factor. Right about me? I bet what
- 10:22Speaker 4: if his kid does the.
- 10:25Speaker 2: You know they're going to try to work out the
- 10:27Speaker 2: right works awesome? So all right, so there you got.
- 10:32Speaker 3: You've sold one ticket. Okay, McCauley, you got one ticket
- 10:36Speaker 3: out there. You want to get a big old Wiener
- 10:38Speaker 3: cake in your mouth, Well, now that's your chance. Oscar
- 10:41Speaker 3: Meyer is celebrating their ninetieth anniversary of the Wiener Mobile
- 10:46Speaker 3: this weekend with exclusive Wiener Cakes.
- 10:50Speaker 4: Where do I get it?
- 10:51Speaker 2: This was my nickname in college. Hey, what's up? Wiener cakes?
- 10:55Speaker 4: Is you are hard for that nickname?
- 10:57Speaker 3: But it's basically a bunch of hot dogs changed around
- 11:00Speaker 3: a two tier cake and they're all like sticking up
- 11:02Speaker 3: in the air so.
- 11:04Speaker 4: Hot.
- 11:06Speaker 3: They've got ketchup and mustard colored confetti, and then there's
- 11:10Speaker 3: a little Wiener mobile cake topper. They're going to be
- 11:12Speaker 3: available at various cities around the United States, so you
- 11:15Speaker 3: can google that if you want to make the pilgrimage.
- 11:18Speaker 3: But it's all in celebration of their ninetieth birthday, which
- 11:21Speaker 3: is kind of funen cake euphemism.
- 11:23Speaker 4: I didn't think there's actual hot dogs.
- 11:25Speaker 2: No, there's an actual Wiener cake. I think I might
- 11:28Speaker 2: have posted it on her Facebook. I don't know. If not,
- 11:30Speaker 2: maybe I'll get that up in a little bit. See
- 11:33Speaker 2: what I did there.
- 11:33Speaker 3: Yeah, way Mo is preparing to launch its autonomous ride
- 11:39Speaker 3: service in Denver, putting it on track to join Phoenix
- 11:44Speaker 3: and Los Angeles, San Francisco, and you can some of
- 11:47Speaker 3: those summon those goofy vehicles and they'll come pick you up.
- 11:50Speaker 2: They say.
- 11:50Speaker 3: The only problem is is Denver is presenting some unusual
- 11:54Speaker 3: challenges because of our snow covered lane markings, sudden hail,
- 12:00Speaker 3: confusing construction zones, and aggressive merging. Oh and not to
- 12:05Speaker 3: mention it, scooters. Yeah, we have some crazy stuff going on.
- 12:10Speaker 4: I mean, you don't even want to think about what
- 12:12Speaker 4: happens in that left lane on I twenty five there.
- 12:15Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, wow over there, you know everybody. Yeah, the
- 12:18Speaker 2: construction is that's a true thing too.
- 12:21Speaker 11: You know.
- 12:21Speaker 3: I roll in on four to seventy every day and
- 12:23Speaker 3: they're doing massive construction down to my hood. They're ripping
- 12:27Speaker 3: up for seventy, repaving and all that every morning. It
- 12:30Speaker 3: is so hard to judge the lanes because they lay
- 12:33Speaker 3: out all the cones and there's so many reflections and
- 12:37Speaker 3: flashing lights. There's been multiple times over the past week
- 12:41Speaker 3: or two that I've gotten in.
- 12:42Speaker 2: The wrong lane. Oh I'm sure, and I come and
- 12:44Speaker 2: zipping up on the construction crew and I'm.
- 12:46Speaker 4: Like, oh no, I'm so sorry because it's so hard
- 12:50Speaker 4: to tell where the lanes are.
- 12:51Speaker 2: So I can I can imagine the way mos.
- 12:53Speaker 4: And that's just in Denver. I do not want to
- 12:55Speaker 4: be part of the guinea pigs where they test it
- 12:57Speaker 4: out up in the high country. No thank you going
- 13:01Speaker 4: around those corners in a self driving car.
- 13:04Speaker 2: No no, no, no, down the edge you go.
- 13:07Speaker 6: No no no, no, no no no no no no no no, no,
- 13:09Speaker 6: no no good.
- 13:11Speaker 2: What else is going on those way?
- 13:12Speaker 7: Well?
- 13:13Speaker 4: Speaking of driving. Denver, the first pilot city for the
- 13:17Speaker 4: three will trikes that they have out there.
- 13:20Speaker 2: Something else to avoid fun huh.
- 13:23Speaker 1: Let me.
- 13:25Speaker 4: Landed in Denver.
- 13:26Speaker 14: On me first, We've experienced ridership like crazy non stop
- 13:30Speaker 14: riders hoping that our riders want to ride it to
- 13:33Speaker 14: the grocery store, want to ride it to the light
- 13:35Speaker 14: rail with their suitcase, to get to the airport.
- 13:39Speaker 4: Places to ride that trick your suitcase and with your suitcase,
- 13:43Speaker 4: and it's a lot more stable. This is something I
- 13:45Speaker 4: feel like I could finally get on and ride downtown
- 13:48Speaker 4: because they have the scooters. And shut up, Jeremy, the
- 13:52Speaker 4: scooters are so scary.
- 13:55Speaker 2: Okay, listen, I make fun, but they are. And I've
- 13:57Speaker 2: known people. I've been on downtown by cars and.
- 14:00Speaker 4: Stuff on those things, Like, I know people, and I'm.
- 14:02Speaker 2: Just taking up to speed pretty quick.
- 14:04Speaker 4: Yeah, I Am not trying to get on a scooter.
- 14:06Speaker 4: So these little trikes are just my speed. And there
- 14:09Speaker 4: are a couple of rules. You got to be eighteen
- 14:10Speaker 4: on staying the bike lanes and whatnot. And they also
- 14:12Speaker 4: encourage you to wear a helmet. But look for them now.
- 14:15Speaker 4: They're got them here in the Mile High City and again.
- 14:17Speaker 4: We're the first pilot city, so you're gonna start the.
- 14:20Speaker 3: Two wheels on the back, one up front. They very stable, Yeah, yeah,
- 14:24Speaker 3: to flip it.
- 14:25Speaker 4: I just I love everything about them. I cannot wait
- 14:27Speaker 4: to go.
- 14:27Speaker 2: They're kind of cute, right. That was like this, you're
- 14:30Speaker 2: a cute helmet too, scooter.
- 14:31Speaker 4: Okay, I know, can you leave.
- 14:33Speaker 3: It on if you like, take your trike to a
- 14:35Speaker 3: restaurant and you're wearing your helmet, just leave it on
- 14:37Speaker 3: through lunch.
- 14:38Speaker 4: I'm gonna have to with this hair.
- 14:39Speaker 2: Yeah, just leave it on, like, oh, bless her heart.
- 14:44Speaker 2: You'll get really good service or at.
- 14:47Speaker 4: Least a free meal because they feel bad.
- 14:48Speaker 2: For me, right exactly.
- 14:50Speaker 4: Okay, I guess everything is bigger in Texas. Guys got
- 14:53Speaker 4: bigger idiots for sure. So one of them came to
- 14:56Speaker 4: Glenwood Kenan's Adventure Park and said he wanted to up
- 15:00Speaker 4: the place because they wouldn't let him get on rides.
- 15:03Speaker 2: Oh I thought maybe he was a photographer.
- 15:05Speaker 4: Oh no, no, no, different kind silly Lannie Hubbard. He
- 15:10Speaker 4: is from Quitman, Texas is where he hails from, and
- 15:13Speaker 4: after being told he couldn't ride some of the tractions,
- 15:16Speaker 4: he said the threatening remarks, and he said it multiple
- 15:18Speaker 4: times while he was interacting with the person from the ride.
- 15:21Speaker 4: As he's making his way out of the park, he's
- 15:24Speaker 4: still yelling at everybody and saying these things at a
- 15:26Speaker 4: very high volume. And that happened Monday night, and they
- 15:29Speaker 4: arrested him Tuesday morning. So he got charged in everything.
- 15:34Speaker 4: And you know, he gets the same cell size as
- 15:36Speaker 4: everybody else, so even if he is a big idiot,
- 15:39Speaker 4: he's got to sit in that cell. So anyway, that's
- 15:41Speaker 4: a crazy story coming out of glenn Wick Springs. This
- 15:44Speaker 4: is a good look for Colorado. So we do have
- 15:46Speaker 4: some positive news to wrap up through mile high hype.
- 15:49Speaker 4: We are on the list of best states in the country.
- 15:52Speaker 4: And this is a report coming from US News and
- 15:54Speaker 4: World Report, so a very reputable source here. Colorado. We're
- 15:59Speaker 4: number seventy.
- 16:00Speaker 2: Yeah for overall.
- 16:03Speaker 4: They took a lot of different things into consideration, but
- 16:06Speaker 4: something that really put us up in our rankings. We
- 16:09Speaker 4: are number one for education.
- 16:12Speaker 2: That's a good way.
- 16:14Speaker 4: Across the country. Is Colorado number one in education. We
- 16:17Speaker 4: did low score pretty low on crime though, so yeah, yeah,
- 16:22Speaker 4: that kind of held us down a little bit.
- 16:25Speaker 3: But I have to tell this to my daughter, who
- 16:26Speaker 3: can't really do math or eight o'clock, but here she's
- 16:32Speaker 3: so artsy.
- 16:33Speaker 4: Exactly, we have our strengths her.
- 16:35Speaker 3: You just kind of They don't do spelling tests anymore.
- 16:36Speaker 3: This surprises me.
- 16:37Speaker 2: I don't they do spelling test, spell chair.
- 16:40Speaker 4: That's insane, I know. Anyway, I don't believe. So anyway,
- 16:44Speaker 4: I want to talk about the bad states. There's more
- 16:46Speaker 4: Alaska and Mississippi and the top state, the top state
- 16:50Speaker 4: in the study from US News and World Report, our
- 16:53Speaker 4: neighbors to the west, it's Utah. I've been there. I
- 16:56Speaker 4: don't agree. I really don't.
- 16:58Speaker 15: I don't.
- 16:58Speaker 4: I think we're way better than you. But anyway, there
- 17:01Speaker 4: you go.
- 17:01Speaker 2: You told them, you told them, didn't you?
- 17:05Speaker 4: As I did?
- 17:07Speaker 1: Jared, you, Katie and Josh.
- 17:10Speaker 3: I dodged a bullet yesterday. I dodged a big old
- 17:15Speaker 3: bullet yesterday.
- 17:17Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 17:19Speaker 3: We talked to my wife on the drive home from
- 17:23Speaker 3: the radio station yesterday. Sweet Nickknack, who had been on
- 17:27Speaker 3: I don't know, probably the website. I don't think she
- 17:29Speaker 3: was on a phone. She's probably on the website Ticketmaster
- 17:32Speaker 3: or whatever.
- 17:33Speaker 2: She was in the.
- 17:34Speaker 3: Queue for half priced Denver Broncos tickets. Yes It's been
- 17:40Speaker 3: no secret on this show that I'm not the biggest
- 17:42Speaker 3: sports guy.
- 17:43Speaker 2: Okay, I I I I am not a sports guy.
- 17:47Speaker 3: I'm trying to tread lightly here because we are owned
- 17:49Speaker 3: by a sports company.
- 17:50Speaker 2: But Nick Knack is very much a sports fan, and
- 17:56Speaker 2: she loves the Denver Broncos loves him with a passion.
- 18:00Speaker 2: We got a flag and everything that goes out front.
- 18:03Speaker 3: So she hopped on yesterday for those half priced tickets
- 18:07Speaker 3: and she was eleven number eleven thousand in the queue.
- 18:14Speaker 3: Eleven thousand people were in the queue yesterday.
- 18:17Speaker 2: He probably she got.
- 18:18Speaker 3: All the way down to being number three hundred in
- 18:21Speaker 3: the queue, and it said tickets are now sold out,
- 18:26Speaker 3: and she talked to.
- 18:28Speaker 2: Her on the phone.
- 18:28Speaker 3: I was like, oh no, that would have been so
- 18:31Speaker 3: much fun in the air she didn't get those tickets.
- 18:39Speaker 2: And then I hung up and were.
- 18:41Speaker 3: Had both hands up and out my son room. The
- 18:46Speaker 3: last thing I want to do is try to go
- 18:48Speaker 3: down a mile high for a goofy Broncos game a
- 18:51Speaker 3: bunch of amateurs, and with half priced tickets.
- 18:54Speaker 4: Aren't you gonna do it anyway? At some point? No, No,
- 18:57Speaker 4: I want to save money.
- 18:58Speaker 2: No, like narking is nasty down there. There's so many people,
- 19:02Speaker 2: it's so expensive. I love it. I'll watch it on
- 19:04Speaker 2: my couch with her. Yeah, I'll support her via my couch.
- 19:07Speaker 2: But she's like, yeah, I made it all the way
- 19:09Speaker 2: down to three hundred people and then they were sold out.
- 19:13Speaker 2: Or sweet honey Baby.
- 19:17Speaker 4: Sound really genuine?
- 19:19Speaker 3: Or honey sweetly sugar baby, little Mama go broncos. I'm
- 19:24Speaker 3: kind of irritated with her anyway though, because apparently I'm
- 19:27Speaker 3: drinking too much.
- 19:27Speaker 2: Coffee in the morning.
- 19:30Speaker 3: So I make our coffee in the morning, and I
- 19:32Speaker 3: do twelve cops okay, but it only does like tennish.
- 19:35Speaker 4: Yeah, same, It's stupid. Yeah, I don't know why it
- 19:37Speaker 4: does that.
- 19:38Speaker 3: It's false advertising. Yeah, that's a jerk. Moved from the
- 19:42Speaker 3: coffee company.
- 19:42Speaker 2: Anyway.
- 19:43Speaker 3: So I get a cup for me and I get
- 19:45Speaker 3: a cup for her as we start our day in
- 19:47Speaker 3: the morning, prepare for the show, all that stuff, and then.
- 19:50Speaker 2: I usually get like, I got this yetty tumbler right here?
- 19:53Speaker 4: M hm, there it is coffee in there.
- 19:57Speaker 2: Did I fill that up for my ride into work
- 20:00Speaker 2: and to have it right here?
- 20:01Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 20:02Speaker 3: Well because of that, because my one are two cups
- 20:05Speaker 3: at home and the yettie tumbler.
- 20:06Speaker 2: It leaves her about a half a.
- 20:08Speaker 3: Cup of coffee left in the pot. So she's been
- 20:11Speaker 3: getting in my kitchen, literally in my kitchen.
- 20:13Speaker 4: It's a move.
- 20:14Speaker 3: And she's like, you're drinking too much coffee because I
- 20:16Speaker 3: got to brew a second pot after you leave, because
- 20:19Speaker 3: you don't leave me enough coffee. So she's beat me down.
- 20:25Speaker 3: And now in the mornings, I have to have a
- 20:28Speaker 3: needle cup of coffee to start my day, a baby
- 20:36Speaker 3: cup of coffee. I got a purn in like a
- 20:38Speaker 3: Fisher Price mug to enjoy my morning coffee and get
- 20:41Speaker 3: my day started.
- 20:42Speaker 2: Because she yells at me, this is my life now.
- 20:45Speaker 4: Well, what you need to do is after you take
- 20:48Speaker 4: the coffee out of the pot when you're leaving, you
- 20:51Speaker 4: need to make it.
- 20:54Speaker 3: Tell for that I gotta get in here. We're not
- 20:57Speaker 3: in here getting ready for the show.
- 20:59Speaker 4: Don't press the butt yet, Like, let her press the
- 21:01Speaker 4: button so it's nice and freshly brewed for her when
- 21:03Speaker 4: she gets.
- 21:04Speaker 3: Because she would want me to hit a button, does
- 21:06Speaker 3: she Oh, we'd argue about that.
- 21:08Speaker 2: You show hit the button. So when I go back,
- 21:09Speaker 2: it's already brewed.
- 21:10Speaker 3: I don't have to wait when my mouth's all ready
- 21:12Speaker 3: for another cup of coffee.
- 21:14Speaker 4: Because is she up? And Adams, Okay, I thought she
- 21:17Speaker 4: went back to sleep. She can make her own and
- 21:19Speaker 4: make the coffee for her. I'm on her side with
- 21:21Speaker 4: this one.
- 21:24Speaker 3: Five years of being you have too much coffee in
- 21:27Speaker 3: the morning. You now need to use a child's cup
- 21:31Speaker 3: in the morning. You didn't don't get a full grown
- 21:34Speaker 3: man's cup of coffee in the morning.
- 21:36Speaker 2: You get a little sippy cup and that's all you get.
- 21:39Speaker 3: You know what, I don't have to reveal the butt.
- 21:43Speaker 4: And now you did it.
- 21:44Speaker 2: And I did it because I don't want to be
- 21:46Speaker 2: led and I'm scared of her. Yeah there, I.
- 21:49Speaker 3: Am just using my my index finger and my thumb
- 21:53Speaker 3: trying to got the little tiny handle for my daughter's
- 21:56Speaker 3: dollhouse of coffee.
- 21:58Speaker 2: Yeah, you are the all right.
- 22:05Speaker 3: Katie's daughter is trying to squeeze some money out of us,
- 22:07Speaker 3: and I'm not happy.
- 22:08Speaker 4: That you need to help me with that.
- 22:10Speaker 2: I'll need to do anything.
- 22:12Speaker 4: The baby Nana is doing something so admirable. I just
- 22:16Speaker 4: love this. And can I point out she's doing it
- 22:19Speaker 4: on her birthday weekend? She is going to Ohio. They
- 22:23Speaker 4: are biking across Cleveland. So Pellatonia, I think is what
- 22:27Speaker 4: it's called. But no, it's like a grassroots effort. And
- 22:30Speaker 4: what it does is it raises money for cancer.
- 22:32Speaker 3: That's great, it's amazing. It's a fantastic cost. They need
- 22:35Speaker 3: to raise as much money as.
- 22:37Speaker 4: Possible, and so she needs pledges from.
- 22:38Speaker 2: People holding saying if you finish what hold? What does
- 22:43Speaker 2: your daughter ride a lot of bikes? She doesn't she
- 22:46Speaker 2: ever been on a bike.
- 22:47Speaker 4: Obviously she's ridden a bike before, but it's that I
- 22:51Speaker 4: don't think as an adult, I don't know if she's
- 22:54Speaker 4: ever ridden a bike. But you know, she wanted to
- 22:57Speaker 4: do her part. They're providing the bikes, are providing the
- 23:01Speaker 4: hell everything that she needs to do it. And it's insane, right,
- 23:04Speaker 4: It's like riding a bike. It's not like it's hard.
- 23:08Speaker 2: I'm trying to tread lightly.
- 23:11Speaker 10: I know.
- 23:12Speaker 4: No, I need to stick up for her because she's
- 23:14Speaker 4: my baby. Not I said so, not even in a
- 23:17Speaker 4: trip around the block.
- 23:18Speaker 3: Yeah, So there's that like you're not gonna try to
- 23:21Speaker 3: work up to this.
- 23:22Speaker 4: Yeah, she'sus gonna go.
- 23:26Speaker 2: I'm going a bike.
- 23:30Speaker 4: She's doing No. Seventeen, but she's doing it for a
- 23:32Speaker 4: really good cause, and so I'm not gonna I'm not
- 23:35Speaker 4: gonna tell her no.
- 23:36Speaker 2: Don't do I'm not.
- 23:38Speaker 3: I'm like, I mean, because it's her, but you are right,
- 23:41Speaker 3: she donate and not right hilarious.
- 23:44Speaker 4: It is a little hilarious that she wants to do it,
- 23:46Speaker 4: but I'm so encouraging it because here's my mind is like,
- 23:49Speaker 4: you're gonna do this, and you're gonna love it, and
- 23:51Speaker 4: then you're just gonna be a little biker and she's
- 23:53Speaker 4: gonna be like one of those people who ride bike
- 23:55Speaker 4: on the side of the road and you know it,
- 23:57Speaker 4: you're like impressed with them, like.
- 23:59Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, look at them.
- 24:00Speaker 4: Go her new passion. But yeah, I am so proud
- 24:06Speaker 4: of her. It's funny though, because she needs people to
- 24:09Speaker 4: donate to this, which is again I'm hitting you both
- 24:12Speaker 4: up for it. I'm gonna send you the link you
- 24:14Speaker 4: donate to Zoe's cause.
- 24:16Speaker 9: Uh.
- 24:16Speaker 4: But she's telling me the story last night and she's
- 24:19Speaker 4: so bummed because she hasn't raised a lot of money.
- 24:22Speaker 4: She like, I was like, does everybody knows you raised?
- 24:24Speaker 2: And she's like, she's not gonna accomplish.
- 24:26Speaker 4: Twenty five dollars.
- 24:29Speaker 2: Everybody knows it is hers.
- 24:30Speaker 4: Well, no, she just didn't really.
- 24:31Speaker 2: She donated to her.
- 24:32Speaker 4: Fast people and then like, but she asked us like
- 24:35Speaker 4: a month ago, and at least for me, I told her.
- 24:38Speaker 4: I was like, honey, I'm sorry, I kind of forgot,
- 24:40Speaker 4: So if you could just send me that link again,
- 24:41Speaker 4: I will do it right now.
- 24:42Speaker 2: And I did.
- 24:43Speaker 4: I felt really bad because I was like, oh my gosh,
- 24:45Speaker 4: I haven't even donated to your cause yet, so I
- 24:48Speaker 4: know I donated fifty bucks. But yeah, so she was
- 24:52Speaker 4: just a little bummed about that. But now she's super excited.
- 24:54Speaker 4: She's got a few more people who said that they
- 24:56Speaker 4: donate and including you two.
- 24:58Speaker 3: You love you do it, so what would.
- 25:01Speaker 14: You do that?
- 25:02Speaker 4: Like, I was like, you know, Jermy and Josh are
- 25:04Speaker 4: gonna be proud of you too, and Gilt.
- 25:05Speaker 2: It's the American Cancer Society.
- 25:08Speaker 4: No, it's a grassroots effort. So it's just like it's
- 25:10Speaker 4: called pelatonia.
- 25:11Speaker 2: I believe it. Can I just donate to the American
- 25:13Speaker 2: Cancer Society.
- 25:14Speaker 4: Do you could do both? I feel like doing both
- 25:16Speaker 4: would be a great thing for you to do to
- 25:18Speaker 4: support the Bibby Bana in her effort and feel like
- 25:22Speaker 4: cancer Society because we love them kinda is.
- 25:25Speaker 3: And I'm right now, don't get me wrong, because I
- 25:28Speaker 3: no want to get hate mail, not poop pooing the costs.
- 25:31Speaker 3: Make as much money as possible. Yeah, but I feel
- 25:34Speaker 3: like I'm getting shaked down, shooking down, shakedown by baby
- 25:38Speaker 3: Nana to donate, and I don't think she can do this.
- 25:42Speaker 3: First of all, this is coming out of the field,
- 25:45Speaker 3: And don't force me to donate.
- 25:46Speaker 4: No, you're gonna donate.
- 25:48Speaker 2: I don't know this, grassroots know for sure all that
- 25:52Speaker 2: money is going to research.
- 25:54Speaker 4: One hundred percent of the money raised by riders and
- 25:57Speaker 4: teams goes to cancer research. I can guarantee you that,
- 26:01Speaker 4: especially if you donate at the link that I'm about
- 26:04Speaker 4: to see.
- 26:04Speaker 2: You do you just get in QR code now.
- 26:07Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 26:07Speaker 4: But she will seventeen miles. She's got this.
- 26:10Speaker 2: I'm telling you, she'll make these three and bailed.
- 26:14Speaker 3: You're gonna find her sitting in a coffee shop with
- 26:16Speaker 3: an iced coffee.
- 26:17Speaker 2: She is compared to, taking selfies.
- 26:19Speaker 4: And determined like her mama. She's gonna get this. I'm
- 26:22Speaker 4: ting when she does, you know what's going to be
- 26:23Speaker 4: in her hair? Going to donate double you know what
- 26:25Speaker 4: it's going.
- 26:26Speaker 2: To be in her headphones.
- 26:31Speaker 12: Hey maybe, well, good good luck to her.
- 26:37Speaker 4: Yeah, we love her.
- 26:37Speaker 2: She raises a ton of money, I really do, all right.
- 26:40Speaker 2: So check this out, according to.
- 26:43Speaker 3: Edmonds, which is I believe like a car site, minivan
- 26:47Speaker 3: sales are way up right now, mini vans, mini van sales,
- 26:53Speaker 3: and they're saying mini vans are kind of cool, right now,
- 26:57Speaker 3: are they? This is a growing number of molin The
- 27:00Speaker 3: old parents are giving mini vans a second look. The
- 27:04Speaker 3: Toyota Siena is the crown jewel right now.
- 27:07Speaker 2: Huh.
- 27:08Speaker 3: It's so popular that when they come into the dealership
- 27:11Speaker 3: they only sit there for about eighteen days, which is
- 27:14Speaker 3: pretty dark good, before they get scooped up and sold.
- 27:18Speaker 3: The minivans are flying off the lots. The parents are
- 27:21Speaker 3: saying that the sliding doors make loading kids a whole
- 27:25Speaker 3: lot easier. And they're about four thousand dollars less than
- 27:29Speaker 3: comparable three row SUV's. And really they're not your mom's
- 27:34Speaker 3: minivans anymore. They look sleek, they look good.
- 27:38Speaker 4: These are not the Dodge caravan of the eighties, like,
- 27:41Speaker 4: oh with the wood panels, yeah, it looks like an
- 27:43Speaker 4: suv almost.
- 27:44Speaker 3: The Sienna is sharp. Yeah, the Sienna's really sharp looking.
- 27:47Speaker 3: Kia's got one too.
- 27:49Speaker 2: I believe it looks pretty good.
- 27:51Speaker 3: Anyway, my mother in law used to have one, and
- 27:54Speaker 3: it was the best road trip vehicle I have ever
- 27:57Speaker 3: been in in.
- 27:58Speaker 2: My entire life.
- 27:59Speaker 3: Really, you can just spread out in the back, you
- 28:02Speaker 3: can lay down as you're going down the road.
- 28:04Speaker 2: There was so much room. It was so nice.
- 28:07Speaker 3: I even had one for an endorsement at one point.
- 28:10Speaker 2: Who was that through?
- 28:11Speaker 3: I think it might have been through Chrysler, and I
- 28:13Speaker 3: had a Chrysler minivan for a couple of weeks that
- 28:15Speaker 3: I zipped around with around.
- 28:16Speaker 2: Ye I didn't want to give it back.
- 28:19Speaker 3: And you could spin the wheels in it, a friend
- 28:22Speaker 3: a friend told me supposedly it had that much power
- 28:25Speaker 3: that you could spin the wheels as you went around corners.
- 28:28Speaker 4: And what it said on the website the keya there
- 28:31Speaker 4: is even nicer in the Toyota.
- 28:33Speaker 3: I think, like, yeah, shout out to all the parents
- 28:36Speaker 3: driving around this morning in your mini vans, We see you.
- 28:40Speaker 2: You're actually really rad.
- 28:41Speaker 3: You are rad parents, it now, shout out from JKJ
- 28:46Speaker 3: turn it off five.
- 28:47Speaker 13: The fun starts now with fast five.
- 28:50Speaker 1: Yes, fine, it's times of play Fast five. Fast five.
- 28:54Speaker 13: How Fast.
- 28:57Speaker 1: With Jeremy, Katie and Josh.
- 28:59Speaker 2: It's time to.
- 29:00Speaker 3: Play Fast five, one of the most fun radio contests
- 29:05Speaker 3: in town. Often copied, often duplicated.
- 29:10Speaker 2: But this is the OG, right, Yeah, this is awesome.
- 29:15Speaker 2: It's called Fast five. And if you want to play.
- 29:17Speaker 3: Three oh three six nine one one mix three oh
- 29:21Speaker 3: three six nine one sixteen forty nine, I'll.
- 29:25Speaker 2: Get you in the studios to get your Fast five on.
- 29:28Speaker 2: We'll get you on the air, get to know you
- 29:30Speaker 2: just a little bit.
- 29:31Speaker 3: We'll literally become best friends, and then I'll throw a
- 29:34Speaker 3: category at you and start a ten second timer. Within
- 29:38Speaker 3: those ten seconds, you got to give me five things
- 29:40Speaker 3: that have to do with that category.
- 29:42Speaker 2: I think you can pull it off.
- 29:43Speaker 3: Come on, we want to meet you, especially if you've
- 29:45Speaker 3: never played before three oh three six nine one sixteen
- 29:50Speaker 3: forty nine. Three oh three six nine one sixteen forty
- 29:55Speaker 3: nine call right now.
- 29:55Speaker 2: We'd love to have you on the air.
- 29:57Speaker 5: Now.
- 29:57Speaker 3: For people who have never heard this, give us some examples.
- 29:59Speaker 3: KATEE Okay, yeah, we've been doing.
- 30:01Speaker 4: This game so long, so you've asked for so many things,
- 30:04Speaker 4: like five different Bronco qbs. Right, you've also asked for
- 30:08Speaker 4: five fictional tales before and the one that won it yesterday.
- 30:12Speaker 4: I believe it was Liz who was able to name
- 30:15Speaker 4: five different jewelers, no problem to score the issues, I believe. So, yeah,
- 30:22Speaker 4: different jewelers.
- 30:24Speaker 2: Yeah, and she said yeah, because it was the whole target.
- 30:26Speaker 4: Yeah, exactly, exactly. We had a few things you asked yesterday,
- 30:30Speaker 4: but that was the winner.
- 30:32Speaker 2: I'm a silly boy.
- 30:33Speaker 4: You are. You're all over the place when it comes
- 30:35Speaker 4: to the categories.
- 30:36Speaker 3: I got some open lines, guys, don't disappoint us, call in,
- 30:39Speaker 3: have some fun. Three oh three six nine one one
- 30:43Speaker 3: mix three O three six nine one sixteen forty nine.
- 30:48Speaker 2: Now the big news is the prize this week. What
- 30:51Speaker 2: are we playing for.
- 30:52Speaker 4: We're sending you to one of the most beautiful places
- 30:54Speaker 4: in the whole world. You're going to Red Rocks to
- 30:57Speaker 4: see of monsters and men. This is August.
- 31:00Speaker 7: Then.
- 31:00Speaker 4: Yeah, you'll score a pair of tickets if you can
- 31:02Speaker 4: win today.
- 31:02Speaker 2: Hmmm, very good.
- 31:03Speaker 3: I'm wondering if we're having phone issues right now. Uh
- 31:06Speaker 3: oh yeah, it's getting all glitchy.
- 31:08Speaker 2: I'm watching it. Try to call in. We might have

- 32:42Speaker 2: Give me five movies with dragons, go.
- 32:46Speaker 15: Okay, training your dragon?

- 34:25Speaker 3: Is she still on the phone there, Yes, she's right here, Laurel. Yeah,
- 34:30Speaker 3: is your mom in her pajamas?
- 34:32Speaker 5: Yes?

- 35:08Speaker 2: you am?
- 35:09Speaker 3: I need five chemical elements that end in I U

- 37:12Speaker 2: Well, good luck, Joseph. We're rooting for you, buddy.
- 37:16Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 37:17Speaker 2: All right. So today for fast five, your letter is
- 37:21Speaker 2: ce like cupcake. All right. See, I need five restaurants
- 37:29Speaker 2: that begin with that letter c go okay.
- 37:32Speaker 10: I have Chick fil A, Chili yep.
- 37:37Speaker 20: Uh, the Chicken six dollars.

- 37:49Speaker 3: Carls Junior.
- 37:51Speaker 10: Oh.
- 37:51Speaker 20: I started to say College Junior, like everything. It is
- 37:54Speaker 20: harder when you play online.
- 37:56Speaker 3: When you call in and you know, even though it
- 37:58Speaker 3: starts with the I would have accepted Cheesecake Factory.

- 38:15Speaker 4: That's fun.
- 38:18Speaker 2: Scottie, Hi, Scott, what's going on?
- 38:21Speaker 10: What's good?
- 38:21Speaker 3: Oh, you're good, buddy, you're going on. You're a superstar
- 38:24Speaker 3: right now because you're on the radio. I'm trying anybody
- 38:28Speaker 3: you want to give a shout out to right now?
- 38:31Speaker 10: All with daughter Solani getting me for a first ballroom
- 38:35Speaker 10: dancing class.
- 38:38Speaker 4: A little baby ballroom dancing.
- 38:40Speaker 2: I can't that's ridiculous. How much are you spending on
- 38:43Speaker 2: that class?
- 38:45Speaker 10: It's not much at all. It's really good deal. Actually
- 38:47Speaker 10: really she's tan and when we went to meet with
- 38:51Speaker 10: the instructor, like, no way, she's ten because she's all like.
- 38:54Speaker 2: Me, she's tall. That's cute. I got to ask you,
- 38:57Speaker 2: was this your idea, her idea or is there a
- 38:59Speaker 2: woman in your life? And it was her.
- 39:01Speaker 10: It was her idea because she grew up watching her
- 39:04Speaker 10: older sister played club, volleyball stuff, and then when she
- 39:07Speaker 10: was younger, she was like just always liked to dance.
- 39:10Speaker 10: But I was procrastinating because I wasn't ready to be
- 39:13Speaker 10: that dance dad.
- 39:16Speaker 3: You're gonna get a sticker on the back of your
- 39:18Speaker 3: car car that says dance.
- 39:19Speaker 10: Dab didn't be ballers.
- 39:24Speaker 2: Yeah, he would be a baller.
- 39:26Speaker 3: It's funny because I was going to bring up balling
- 39:28Speaker 3: because I think I have a premonition that when she
- 39:32Speaker 3: gets really good and she's at some sort of event
- 39:34Speaker 3: or recital and she does her ballroom dancing, I bet
- 39:36Speaker 3: you cry like a baby.
- 39:38Speaker 4: Me too, I really do.
- 39:39Speaker 10: I can been there, done that. One little daughter saying
- 39:42Speaker 10: karaoke for the first time last year, had a standing
- 39:45Speaker 10: ovation of like, oh, great.
- 39:46Speaker 2: Tears, tears. I can tell you sound like a good
- 39:49Speaker 2: dance guy. You sound like a really good dad.
- 39:52Speaker 4: That's a really sweet story.
- 39:53Speaker 2: Well that's adorable. All right, Scott, you're ready to play.
- 39:57Speaker 10: It's been a while since the last school here.
- 40:00Speaker 2: Oh so it's been a minute for you. Okay, okay, okay.
- 40:03Speaker 2: So this one only involves four letters.
- 40:08Speaker 3: I need five presidents that have last names that are
- 40:12Speaker 3: only four letters.
- 40:14Speaker 10: Go great Bush, Uh Nope, got me, good dad.
- 40:27Speaker 2: You know what's funny is there's two bushes. Yes, you
- 40:29Speaker 2: got to.
- 40:29Speaker 3: You would have had double Bush that you would have
- 40:31Speaker 3: knocked out to Bush one and Bush too. I'm just
- 40:35Speaker 3: saying we're talking presidents here, Scott, grow up. You would
- 40:38Speaker 3: have had double bushes there for two and then there's
- 40:41Speaker 3: polk Taft and Forde.
- 40:50Speaker 2: Hey, buddy, awfully nice talking to you. You guys have
- 40:53Speaker 2: a super dupe stay all.
- 40:55Speaker 10: Yeah, anybody.
- 40:58Speaker 17: Kenvy Hello?
- 41:01Speaker 2: Will you hurry up and win this?
- 41:03Speaker 15: I'm going to try. Holy can I be honest? I
- 41:08Speaker 15: was really rooting for Liz and her daughter, Laurel. I
- 41:12Speaker 15: actually worked at Laurel's school. I recognized her mom and
- 41:16Speaker 15: her voice. Oh really, Oh I know Laurel personally, so
- 41:20Speaker 15: I was really really Oh god, she's amazing and she
- 41:23Speaker 15: is a huge fan of you guys. We connected because
- 41:28Speaker 15: she knew I listened to you guys in the morning too, so.
- 41:30Speaker 16: That was like our topic of the day when we
- 41:33Speaker 16: would talk.
- 41:35Speaker 2: I love that.
- 41:36Speaker 4: That's so sweet.
- 41:37Speaker 2: We're connecting people here.
- 41:39Speaker 16: That's yeah.
- 41:41Speaker 3: I love little stories like that because it makes our
- 41:43Speaker 3: job worthwhile, you know, because like TIMALI like Kathy, like
- 41:47Speaker 3: this is I mean, some days are like okay, into
- 41:49Speaker 3: whek we go. It becomes a job for us, and
- 41:52Speaker 3: you forget like how special you are in.
- 41:54Speaker 2: People's lives, and that's very heartwarming. So thank you, yeah,
- 41:59Speaker 2: thank you. All right, all right, let's go.
- 42:04Speaker 3: Well, you say you worked at the school, or you
- 42:07Speaker 3: you go to school.
- 42:08Speaker 15: I did work out of school.
- 42:10Speaker 8: All right.
- 42:10Speaker 3: Well, I feeling like you might get this one, but
- 42:12Speaker 3: in ten seconds, I need five clubs that you might
- 42:17Speaker 3: join in high school.
- 42:19Speaker 15: Go Chess club, Art club, Spanish club, French club, theater club,
- 42:31Speaker 15: or if you're like.
- 42:32Speaker 2: Me in high school and you had no friends. I
- 42:34Speaker 2: was in the four by four club. You know what
- 42:40Speaker 2: a four four?
- 42:42Speaker 3: It was like a group of guys that were kind
- 42:45Speaker 3: of misfits and we all had four wheel drive vehicles
- 42:49Speaker 3: and we like to go to the mountains on backtrails.
- 42:51Speaker 2: So we're like, let's form the four by four club.
- 42:53Speaker 4: So you made this club up.
- 42:54Speaker 15: We made a pretty fit club.
- 43:00Speaker 2: You know what. We didn't get a lot of chicks, Kathy,
- 43:04Speaker 2: you know what it is, what it is. We did
- 43:05Speaker 2: not get a lot of girls.
- 43:07Speaker 16: Okay, married now, and you're happy.
- 43:08Speaker 3: I am married to the hottest, hottest woman ever and
- 43:12Speaker 3: I've been married for a long time.
- 43:13Speaker 2: We're gonna have twenty year anniversary here next week.
- 43:16Speaker 4: Is so lucky.
- 43:17Speaker 2: I congratulate Kathy.
- 43:18Speaker 4: He is lucky.
- 43:19Speaker 2: Yeah, and I'm still driving forward.
- 43:21Speaker 4: By four all right, So, Kathy, do you know.
- 43:24Speaker 3: What you're supposed to say? Slash ask me to do
- 43:28Speaker 3: if you win Fast five?
- 43:30Speaker 2: Hey, Jeremy, yeah, will.
- 43:31Speaker 16: You play the winning song?
- 43:33Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 43:39Speaker 2: Big w for Kathy Day. Oh yeah, oh yeah, you're
- 43:43Speaker 2: the best.
- 43:44Speaker 3: Congratulations you won Fast five today, and we're gonna send
- 43:48Speaker 3: you off to go see a concert at Red Rocks
- 43:49Speaker 3: and you better send us pictures when you're there.
- 43:51Speaker 15: Yeah, oh definitely, I will fantastic.
- 43:55Speaker 2: Kathy, You're a delight. I'm gonna put you on hold.
- 43:57Speaker 3: We'll come back and tell you how to get those
- 43:59Speaker 3: tickets and Katie will do it all again tomorrow morning.
- 44:04Speaker 1: Jary, Katy and Josh one hundred.
- 44:07Speaker 2: I got a couple of stories about the zers. Gen Z.
- 44:10Speaker 3: You give us so much material, Thank you guys. According
- 44:14Speaker 3: to a new report, gen zs are trying to enhance
- 44:18Speaker 3: their workplace culture with something that they are calling micro joys.
- 44:25Speaker 2: My job has so many micro joys.
- 44:27Speaker 4: Okay, so like looking on the bright side, but they
- 44:30Speaker 4: gave it a fancy word face that is, I.
- 44:35Speaker 3: Mean going, this is great because I have micro journeys
- 44:37Speaker 3: on me, bijin bird. So it's small moments throughout the
- 44:42Speaker 3: day that make your work day more enjoyable, productive, and sustainable.
- 44:47Speaker 3: So they surveyed about five hundred zers between the ages
- 44:50Speaker 3: of eighteen and twenty five, and they said taking short
- 44:54Speaker 3: breaks makes my work day.
- 44:56Speaker 2: More enjoyable and it helps me perform better. Snacks snacks.
- 45:02Speaker 4: I was hoping they'd be on the list because that
- 45:05Speaker 4: was mine.
- 45:06Speaker 3: Snacks is a micro joy for me. But they have
- 45:09Speaker 3: to be like really small chips, because it's micro joy
- 45:13Speaker 3: stepping outside for fresh air, chatting with your cool coworkers,
- 45:19Speaker 3: or enjoying our favorite beverage.
- 45:22Speaker 4: See little things. I like that.
- 45:24Speaker 3: Not completing a task or you know, being with a
- 45:28Speaker 3: company for twenty years.
- 45:29Speaker 4: Those are just things we have to work.
- 45:32Speaker 3: But if you can really have a basket of chips
- 45:34Speaker 3: in the kitchen, if.
- 45:35Speaker 4: You can enjoy moments like that throughout the day, I
- 45:38Speaker 4: feel like you are living at life. Because that is
- 45:40Speaker 4: the secret to life. I don't know if you know this,
- 45:42Speaker 4: but marcha joy, enjoy the passing of time. That is
- 45:46Speaker 4: the secret to life is to be able to really
- 45:48Speaker 4: enjoy the moment that you're in right now, me in
- 45:51Speaker 4: this room with you two fine gentlemen. That's I'm enjoying this.
- 45:54Speaker 4: I'm enjoying this.
- 45:55Speaker 3: My moment is when the show's over. Now I'll have
- 45:58Speaker 3: to see you till tomorrow morning.
- 45:59Speaker 2: That's my micro joy. When I walk out the front doors,
- 46:02Speaker 2: I'm like, who no more, no more?
- 46:06Speaker 4: But you love it? You love it.
- 46:08Speaker 2: It's micro joy.
- 46:12Speaker 3: We don't really have a lot of micro joys here though,
- 46:14Speaker 3: do we do?
- 46:15Speaker 4: There are snoopsicles in the freezer right now. That is
- 46:18Speaker 4: a micro.
- 46:23Speaker 3: Jordan that we talked to in our promotions department. She's
- 46:26Speaker 3: my micro doy.
- 46:27Speaker 4: She's a major joy for me. I love Jordan's. So yeah,
- 46:31Speaker 4: we we have a lot of joy in this building.
- 46:33Speaker 3: You just gotta look for I have joy, joy, joy
- 46:35Speaker 3: down in my heart, down in my heart.
- 46:38Speaker 2: To day. I got another Z story for you.
- 46:42Speaker 21: Uh.
- 46:43Speaker 3: The alcohol industry is actually kind of struggling right now.
- 46:45Speaker 3: I saw something about it. I was down like eight
- 46:47Speaker 3: hundred billion dollars or something because the zers aren't out drinking.
- 46:51Speaker 2: But they've got a cute little name.
- 46:53Speaker 3: If they do go out and have a cocktail, they
- 46:55Speaker 3: call it sober curious.
- 46:59Speaker 4: I'm sober curious buzzworthy phrase.
- 47:02Speaker 3: So that that does mean that generally they're not drinking,
- 47:06Speaker 3: but if they do go out and have something, they're
- 47:09Speaker 3: looking for quality over quantity. So they're gonna go out
- 47:13Speaker 3: and they're curious about what y'all are drinking.
- 47:15Speaker 2: But you gotta really wow me with the cocktail.
- 47:19Speaker 3: So it's more of a high end probably in a
- 47:21Speaker 3: fancy glass with a whole bunch of fruit and a
- 47:24Speaker 3: pretty sparkly straw.
- 47:25Speaker 4: Well, and businesses took notice because that's why they're charging
- 47:28Speaker 4: thirty dollars for a cocktail lost revenue. Yeah, Well, and
- 47:32Speaker 4: they know that they'll pay for it because if they're
- 47:34Speaker 4: only getting one and it's gotta be worth it thirty
- 47:37Speaker 4: dollars for it.
- 47:38Speaker 2: Today my micro joy was being sober curious.
- 47:42Speaker 4: Yeah, but it's funny too because it's like they know
- 47:45Speaker 4: what they're talking about because they've seen all the warnings
- 47:48Speaker 4: about alcohol. I mean there's one today about regular alcohol
- 47:52Speaker 4: use and how it could ac celebrate brain aging. And
- 47:55Speaker 4: that is by like disrupting your sleep and your brain function.
- 47:59Speaker 4: I mean, anyone knows is if you like get a
- 48:01Speaker 4: little tipsy, right and then you say you pass out,
- 48:04Speaker 4: you're really not sleeping. That is not quality sleep. You're
- 48:06Speaker 4: only passing out. You're gonna wake up dehydrated, completely worn out. Uh,
- 48:13Speaker 4: And it can really like do damage on all of
- 48:16Speaker 4: the things in your body, and the younger generation figured
- 48:19Speaker 4: that out. I believe it's because the Internet told them
- 48:21Speaker 4: their whole life, right. We didn't necessarily had that. We
- 48:23Speaker 4: had all the commercials telling us how fun it was,
- 48:26Speaker 4: how you're gonna mess out if you don't know to
- 48:28Speaker 4: the speech party and everyone's in bikinis, like you're gonna
- 48:31Speaker 4: miss out on the fun stuff life. That's what we
- 48:33Speaker 4: were told. They were told that it's gonna shorten their lifespan,
- 48:37Speaker 4: that they're not gonna be and it's expensive, and they
- 48:40Speaker 4: listened because again, yeah that this new one just coming out,
- 48:43Speaker 4: it's gonna aid your brain way faster than what you
- 48:46Speaker 4: think it is.
- 48:47Speaker 2: Stop drinking. Oh my god, could you imagine?
- 48:51Speaker 3: I'll be honest with you, I've cut out like all alcohol,
- 48:55Speaker 3: and I plan on moving forward here with I don't
- 48:58Speaker 3: think I'm gonna honest drink anymore.
- 49:01Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't, really, I don't.
- 49:02Speaker 2: I don't think.
- 49:03Speaker 18: So.
- 49:03Speaker 2: I've got I've got.
- 49:04Speaker 3: An anniversary thing planned for me and Nick Knack that
- 49:07Speaker 3: involves me like some wine tasting and stuff, and I'm
- 49:10Speaker 3: trying to decide if I'm gonna even participate in if
- 49:12Speaker 3: we're gonna do something else well.
- 49:13Speaker 4: And it's funny just to think about. Like for me,
- 49:17Speaker 4: it'll be nine years since I drank anything, and I
- 49:19Speaker 4: really call it the Forest Gump effect because I the
- 49:23Speaker 4: more I did it, the longer I went without it,
- 49:25Speaker 4: I realized how great my body feels, and I kept
- 49:28Speaker 4: telling myself.
- 49:29Speaker 2: Well, this far a well, that was literally it. Yeah,
- 49:34Speaker 2: LINE kept.
- 49:35Speaker 4: Going with it, and it has just served me so well.
- 49:38Speaker 2: So the best decision you'll ever make. It's so true.
- 49:41Speaker 3: Like like when you get to your advanced age, Katie,
- 49:45Speaker 3: there are times when you wake up in the morning
- 49:47Speaker 3: after you've had one too many, and it truly is
- 49:50Speaker 3: like three days of like I am just off and
- 49:53Speaker 3: I don't feel good.
- 49:54Speaker 2: You're dying, and I'm tired of having the recovery time.
- 49:58Speaker 2: I know it doesn't sound.
- 49:59Speaker 3: Cool like, oh I didn't go out and party and
- 50:01Speaker 3: then get drunk. I just don't want the recovery time anymore.
- 50:05Speaker 2: I don't have time for that.
- 50:06Speaker 4: You don't even have to be ancient like you, Jeremy.
- 50:08Speaker 3: Look at this, you're throwing it back.
- 50:12Speaker 2: The only thing you're throwing back.
- 50:17Speaker 3: All right, shout out to all the gen Zers listening
- 50:20Speaker 3: this morning. All right, we are gonna be talking about
- 50:23Speaker 3: right now, the weird things that you've seen at somebody's house.
- 50:26Speaker 3: Phone lines are already ringing. I'm wondering if we already
- 50:28Speaker 3: get calls.
- 50:30Speaker 2: And Katie, You've got some stories to set us up, right.
- 50:32Speaker 4: Okay, because that's the thing is you. You have heard
- 50:36Speaker 4: some of the things I've seen in men's homes just
- 50:39Speaker 4: on this.
- 50:39Speaker 2: Show, right generally other women.
- 50:41Speaker 4: You we've already talked about the crazy things I've seen,
- 50:43Speaker 4: but I've never alluded to this one, which I don't think.
- 50:46Speaker 4: I don't think you're ready for this, Jeremy, I don't
- 50:48Speaker 4: think you are all right. Hold me back, okay, because
- 50:51Speaker 4: it has kind of set me up for my whole
- 50:53Speaker 4: life to be just anxious about this setting. Because this happened.
- 50:57Speaker 4: I was like nineteen. This is before the baby ho
- 51:00Speaker 4: this is before I dated her dad. I mean, I
- 51:02Speaker 4: was young when this happened, and I was dating this
- 51:04Speaker 4: guy named Tanner, right, and it was time for me
- 51:07Speaker 4: to go back to Tanner's home and see what it
- 51:09Speaker 4: was all about. Right, And I walked into Tanner's room,
- 51:13Speaker 4: and I Am not kidding. There is a full replica
- 51:17Speaker 4: size thing of a paper mache tree, right, and in
- 51:21Speaker 4: this paper mache tree that's almost as big as the room.
- 51:24Speaker 4: The middle is cut out right like the hole in
- 51:27Speaker 4: the tree. And in that hole in the tree there
- 51:31Speaker 4: is a curtain so you can pull it back and
- 51:33Speaker 4: have your very own puppet show.
- 51:38Speaker 2: Well you win, We're done here. Stut.
- 51:43Speaker 4: I could not let my words, couldn't come to my face.
- 51:46Speaker 2: I was like what.
- 51:48Speaker 4: And here's the story from it. This is like a
- 51:51Speaker 4: childhood thing of Tanner's that his mom like he just loved,
- 51:55Speaker 4: and his mom and dad were talking about getting rid
- 51:57Speaker 4: of his puppet show tree and he wasn't having it.
- 52:02Speaker 4: The puppet show tree to his house and had it
- 52:05Speaker 4: in his bedroom and then he's like, do you want
- 52:07Speaker 4: me to do a puppet show for you?
- 52:10Speaker 2: Like I was just like, did you say yes?
- 52:13Speaker 4: I don't think I came.
- 52:14Speaker 2: I would have said yes all day long.
- 52:16Speaker 4: No no, no, no no. I kind of broke up with
- 52:18Speaker 4: Tanner right then and there. I was just I can't
- 52:20Speaker 4: even come.
- 52:21Speaker 2: I wish you know you should have done is put
- 52:22Speaker 2: a puppet on your handback.
- 52:26Speaker 4: This is over. It's not me, it's you and your
- 52:29Speaker 4: puppet tree. It totally threw me off. So now anytime
- 52:35Speaker 4: I go into a man's room. I'm just anticipating that
- 52:38Speaker 4: there's going to be a paper mache tree in there.
- 52:40Speaker 2: With a bunch of puppets. You get crazy before even it.
- 52:44Speaker 4: Was so bad. So yeah, set me up for a
- 52:47Speaker 4: lifetime of romance fails. I've learned now in hindsight.
- 52:51Speaker 3: But yeah, you're scarred from the paper mache pretty good, right,
- 52:55Speaker 3: Oh my god, I love that story.
- 52:56Speaker 2: That is a new one.
- 52:57Speaker 10: Thank you for.
- 53:00Speaker 4: Many, many, many things.
- 53:01Speaker 3: All right, So do you have something that you were like,
- 53:05Speaker 3: what the frick when you walked into somebody's house and
- 53:09Speaker 3: saw it? We want to hear from you, guys. Three
- 53:11Speaker 3: three six nine one sixteen forty nine. Three oh three
- 53:15Speaker 3: six nine one sixteen forty nine. There was a Christine
- 53:20Speaker 3: that rode in while we were teasing this and said
- 53:22Speaker 3: she dated a guy who had a fish tank, a
- 53:24Speaker 3: large fish tank in his living room, but it was
- 53:27Speaker 3: completely filled with empty mountain dew cans. She went over
- 53:31Speaker 3: to his house, she went on a fish in site,
- 53:34Speaker 3: but the whole thing was filled with empty mountain dew cans.
- 53:37Speaker 3: That guy is a keeper right there, at least he's recycling.
- 53:42Speaker 2: There was a Jenny.
- 53:43Speaker 3: Her name was Jenny Ginny wrote in as well and
- 53:45Speaker 3: said she was at a friend's house and she went
- 53:48Speaker 3: into the bathroom and he had a full size freezer
- 53:51Speaker 3: in his bathroom for some reason, and he said it
- 53:54Speaker 3: wouldn't fit like down the stairs to his basement or something,
- 53:56Speaker 3: and it had to go in the bathroom.
- 53:58Speaker 4: So that's where it goes.
- 54:00Speaker 3: That's where it way, what did you see in somebody's
- 54:04Speaker 3: house that was really really weird? Three h three six
- 54:08Speaker 3: nine one sixteen forty nine. I'm gonna go ahead and
- 54:10Speaker 3: take Danielle's call really quick because she's been holding the minute.
- 54:13Speaker 3: Hi Danielle, Hi, Hi, good morning. Okay, what did you see?
- 54:19Speaker 16: Okay, Now this happened when I was in middle school.
- 54:22Speaker 16: I'm like, like over thirty years ago.
- 54:25Speaker 17: I am old.
- 54:26Speaker 16: Anyway, Oh my gosh, this is like the grossest thing ever.
- 54:29Speaker 16: So my sister and I we were going to spend
- 54:31Speaker 16: the night at our friend's house, right, So we go
- 54:34Speaker 16: over to her house and we're all excited and stuff,
- 54:36Speaker 16: and then she takes us into her room. My sister
- 54:39Speaker 16: and I look at each other like what the heck?
- 54:43Speaker 16: We were freaked out because on her wall, like I'm
- 54:46Speaker 16: serious even telling you this, I'm like, oh, like she
- 54:49Speaker 16: had She had a pair of underwear stapled to her
- 54:54Speaker 16: wall and it looked like she had had her monthly
- 54:58Speaker 16: in them.
- 54:58Speaker 2: Okay, no.
- 55:01Speaker 5: Serious, that serious, no life.
- 55:04Speaker 16: And my sister said it. She just came out. She
- 55:06Speaker 16: was like, what the hell is that? And I was like,
- 55:09Speaker 16: I can't believe she said that. So we were like
- 55:12Speaker 16: friend tiptoe.
- 55:14Speaker 3: Around this because I don't know who's listening, but keep
- 55:16Speaker 3: it PG gros.
- 55:19Speaker 16: But gross, it was so gross.
- 55:22Speaker 2: Why did she do that?
- 55:25Speaker 16: She said, Because my sister asked, she said it was
- 55:29Speaker 16: because she was so proud of herself. Okay, so I
- 55:33Speaker 16: was like, proud of you.
- 55:34Speaker 3: It was like a memory, like she's like I become
- 55:36Speaker 3: a woman maybe type thing.
- 55:37Speaker 16: Yes, So my sister faked being sick and my mom
- 55:41Speaker 16: came and picked us up and we never went over
- 55:43Speaker 16: to our house.
- 55:43Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't think i'd have to fake.
- 55:47Speaker 17: That.
- 55:48Speaker 16: She gave us the There you go.
- 55:50Speaker 2: That's a big Daniel.
- 55:52Speaker 3: That is almost as shocking as the paper mache tree.
- 55:56Speaker 3: I know, right, I don't even know if it's beat that,
- 55:59Speaker 3: but that's that's a good one.
- 56:00Speaker 2: Daniel.
- 56:00Speaker 3: Thank you so much for calling in. We appreciate you.
- 56:04Speaker 3: What did you see at somebody's house that, like Danielle said, gave.
- 56:08Speaker 2: You the it. Yeah, that'll do it.
- 56:10Speaker 7: Though.
- 56:11Speaker 3: John said, I went to a co worker's house and
- 56:13Speaker 3: noticed they had over two hundred TV remotes and a
- 56:16Speaker 3: big rubber made bin.
- 56:18Speaker 2: They somehow got into collecting TV remotes from garage sales.
- 56:21Speaker 2: That is very, very weird.
- 56:23Speaker 4: That is weird.
- 56:24Speaker 2: Uh, Jimmy, Jimmy, Jimmy, was it Jimmy? They might have
- 56:28Speaker 2: been a Jimmy.
- 56:29Speaker 3: My girlfriend had a giant collection of hotel room bibles
- 56:33Speaker 3: in her place. She admitted that she takes one from
- 56:36Speaker 3: almost every hotel she's ever stayed in. She had stacks
- 56:39Speaker 3: and stacks of bibles in her room.
- 56:41Speaker 4: That's an ironic thing to steal, isn't it.
- 56:43Speaker 3: That's a really really weird one.
- 56:47Speaker 4: I'm really gonna send today.
- 56:50Speaker 3: Cathy wrote in and said, my boyfriend a long time
- 56:52Speaker 3: ago had a giant map of the United States on
- 56:55Speaker 3: his wall in his apartment, and he had push pins
- 56:58Speaker 3: in it and it marked every taco bell he had
- 57:02Speaker 3: ever eaten. That he's looking for some of that diarrhea.
- 57:08Speaker 2: I like that.
- 57:09Speaker 3: Yeah, phones are ringing so three O three six nine
- 57:11Speaker 3: one sixteen forty nine what's the weirdest thing you've seen
- 57:14Speaker 3: at somebody's house? It's mercury, Hi, Mercury.
- 57:18Speaker 17: Hi guys, good morning, Hey, good morning.
- 57:19Speaker 2: What's the weirdest thing you've ever seen?
- 57:22Speaker 17: Okay, and this is this was when I was little
- 57:24Speaker 17: with my little brother, we used to live with our aunt,
- 57:27Speaker 17: and when we first actually went to walk into her
- 57:30Speaker 17: house for the first time, we had seen all all
- 57:33Speaker 17: her walls, in the bathroom and the kitchen, everywhere, these
- 57:36Speaker 17: porcelain dolls.
- 57:38Speaker 4: No no, no, murder death cut in the bathroom, murder.
- 57:42Speaker 17: Death cue what yes, even in the bathroom. I'm just like,
- 57:45Speaker 17: I have my art. Why do you have these everywhere?
- 57:47Speaker 17: You're like, I love having my collection, I love showing
- 57:49Speaker 17: it off. I'm like, well, we.
- 57:50Speaker 21: Don't like it.
- 57:50Speaker 17: It's it's creepy and weird.
- 57:52Speaker 2: It's super creepy.
- 57:54Speaker 17: So I swear I felt like one of them followed
- 57:56Speaker 17: me one day, you know, yeah, actually turned my back.
- 57:59Speaker 3: Well in the bathroom too, like all those eyes looking
- 58:03Speaker 3: at you. I think I'd have shy bladder. I wouldn't
- 58:06Speaker 3: be able to go.
- 58:08Speaker 17: When I was tall enough to reach them, I actually
- 58:10Speaker 17: took them off the actually threw them in close and
- 58:13Speaker 17: I was done then put them back.
- 58:14Speaker 2: You know what's funny.
- 58:15Speaker 3: I was going to ask you if you actually, like
- 58:17Speaker 3: ever took one, like took one home, or hit them
- 58:19Speaker 3: or turn them around, because I totally would.
- 58:22Speaker 17: Other than that, it was like I was afraid to
- 58:23Speaker 17: touch them. I was afraid they were, you know, do
- 58:25Speaker 17: something to me or you know, curse me or something.
- 58:27Speaker 3: Yeah, I want to talk to Holly here on the
- 58:29Speaker 3: second she's she's holding on the line.
- 58:32Speaker 2: In a second, did your did your aunt?
- 58:35Speaker 17: I still here?
- 58:38Speaker 2: Okay?
- 58:39Speaker 10: Yes?
- 58:39Speaker 2: Has she willed down the dolls? What's gonna happen to
- 58:43Speaker 2: the dolls?
- 58:45Speaker 17: I hope that she didn't will them down?
- 58:46Speaker 9: Where?
- 58:46Speaker 2: Because you did.
- 58:47Speaker 17: I was like, I'm gonna make sure. I'm I'm gonna
- 58:48Speaker 17: make sure they're buried in the ground.
- 58:51Speaker 4: I buried with you.
- 58:52Speaker 2: That's mercury. Thank you so much. That's a very funny,
- 58:56Speaker 2: good one. Holly called back.
- 58:58Speaker 5: Hi, Holly, Hello, how are you well?
- 59:01Speaker 3: We're really good. I saw your story and I was
- 59:03Speaker 3: bummed that you dropped off. But please tell us about
- 59:06Speaker 3: the weirdest thing you've seen in somebody's house.
- 59:08Speaker 21: So a while back, I had a friend and they
- 59:11Speaker 21: had a family dog that I was super familiar with and.
- 59:15Speaker 15: Stand up for about fifteen years.
- 59:17Speaker 21: And the dog passed away, and it was it was
- 59:21Speaker 21: it was so sad, and you know, so I had
- 59:25Speaker 21: hadn't gone over there, you know, for like a year,
- 59:28Speaker 21: but I went over to their house and the dog
- 59:31Speaker 21: is sitting on the couch and I'm like, I just
- 59:35Speaker 21: kind of took me aback, and then she said, yeah,
- 59:38Speaker 21: I had him stuffed, and I just he's there sitting
- 59:40Speaker 21: on the couch.
- 59:41Speaker 22: No, it is her dog is her dog has been
- 59:45Speaker 22: dead for like a year. She had like had him
- 59:49Speaker 22: stuffed and just sitting on her couchsed to it. I've
- 59:56Speaker 22: never seen anything like that.
- 59:58Speaker 3: And I was just like, I mean, I get it
- 1:00:01Speaker 3: if it was your best buddy, and that's like there's
- 1:00:04Speaker 3: something special about that.
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: But there's also something special about that.
- 1:00:10Speaker 21: I was like, I hope your grandmother is not like
- 1:00:14Speaker 21: sitting in the other room somewhere.
- 1:00:20Speaker 3: That's almost as creepy as all those porcelain dolls.
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: Stir now. I'll tell you that one that sounds means
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: it for a little sports report for the sports studio.
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: She loved Tree, Colorado. Shall I a sports gut.
- 1:00:40Speaker 4: You kind of do?
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: That hurts my throat when I do that.
- 1:00:45Speaker 3: There you go lateishtish, hippish trenty a sports news. Okay,
- 1:00:54Speaker 3: so there was a squirrel at a baseball game. It
- 1:00:58Speaker 3: was the Detroit Tiger against the Baltimore Oreos, and.
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: This squirrel was out there running around the orioles.
- 1:01:11Speaker 4: What did you say?
- 1:01:16Speaker 3: And they couldn't catch the squirrel and they were running
- 1:01:19Speaker 3: after him, and they threw gloves at him and throwing
- 1:01:21Speaker 3: towels at him.
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: It's a little play by play action too.
- 1:01:25Speaker 7: The chase for the squirrel is on, and the squirrel
- 1:01:28Speaker 7: is in the corner, and the squirrel is still eluding
- 1:01:30Speaker 7: an entire horde of ground screw members and the squirrel's
- 1:01:33Speaker 7: free once again.
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: Hemmed in.
- 1:01:35Speaker 7: No, I won't be hemmed in. I have freedom on
- 1:01:38Speaker 7: my mind, trying to go between the legs.
- 1:01:41Speaker 8: And eventually he gets away again and hops through the
- 1:01:45Speaker 8: towel and hops.
- 1:01:46Speaker 4: Through another towel.
- 1:01:48Speaker 8: The force field is activated. Towels can't stop him, or
- 1:01:51Speaker 8: maybe they can.
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: Baseball games are so boring. This is what they have
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: to resort to through the school.
- 1:01:58Speaker 4: Squirrels are awesome too, They just immediately cause chaos.
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: Right, Yeah, I think Josh is right. I think somebody
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: smuggled a squirrel and and just let it loose because
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: the game was so boring.
- 1:02:08Speaker 9: Gives them actually a squirrel out in the seventh in
- 1:02:13Speaker 9: squirrel we got a no hitter.
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: Yeah, he relationless squirrel nuts squirrel. What else is going on? Josh?
- 1:02:23Speaker 9: All right, well we're gonna go from the baseball to
- 1:02:25Speaker 9: the beach as a sixteen year old lifeguard is being
- 1:02:28Speaker 9: hailed a hero for saving a little boy's life who
- 1:02:31Speaker 9: was caught in the wake, and we got some sound
- 1:02:33Speaker 9: talking about exactly what went down.
- 1:02:35Speaker 11: The video of Writer went viral on social media because
- 1:02:39Speaker 11: he's seeing continuously being knocked down by the waves while
- 1:02:43Speaker 11: trying to hold onto the child. You can see him
- 1:02:45Speaker 11: there with that safety device just getting pummeled by the
- 1:02:48Speaker 11: white water, but it kept getting broken apart just by
- 1:02:51Speaker 11: the sheer force of those waves.
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: It was a pretty intense video for sure.
- 1:02:54Speaker 9: It is and the writer again, he is Writer Williams.
- 1:02:57Speaker 9: He's a sixteen year old lifeguard.
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: He is.
- 1:02:59Speaker 9: It is his rookie season first of all, so just
- 1:03:02Speaker 9: starting out, wanted to be a teen lifeguard and go
- 1:03:04Speaker 9: save some lives. But little did he probably know that
- 1:03:06Speaker 9: he was going to be doing it this soon. I
- 1:03:08Speaker 9: mean the wake that happens are from the El Nino
- 1:03:11Speaker 9: hurricane season which is going on right now, which just
- 1:03:13Speaker 9: means that the storms are a little bit tougher, and
- 1:03:15Speaker 9: these swells that come in go ten twelve feet in
- 1:03:17Speaker 9: the air. And think of what that's like for a
- 1:03:19Speaker 9: ten year old boy trying to get out of that.
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: It's impossible. You cannot do it.
- 1:03:23Speaker 9: So he fought the waves, was able to carry him
- 1:03:25Speaker 9: to the shore just enough to have other people kind
- 1:03:27Speaker 9: of carry both of them together, get them both to safety.
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: The young boy is going to be totally fine.
- 1:03:32Speaker 4: Thank goodness.
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: That's that's a heroic effort. It's unbelievable. Everybody's survived. Everybody did.
- 1:03:37Speaker 4: Yeah, and he is so impressive. He just well, you
- 1:03:41Speaker 4: have to see this guy in action, because what he
- 1:03:44Speaker 4: does and then brings this kid to shore, then it
- 1:03:48Speaker 4: takes four people to help work. So, I mean, you
- 1:03:50Speaker 4: see how strong this sixteen year old is to be
- 1:03:53Speaker 4: out in the middle of it and fight in those ways.
- 1:03:56Speaker 3: And is why So the boy was sixteen, their lifeguard
- 1:03:59Speaker 3: was sixteen, was ten years old.
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: So the sixteen year old was fighting the swellsteen years old.
- 1:04:04Speaker 9: It's unbelievable and this heroics does not go unrecognized. The
- 1:04:07Speaker 9: President said that even he wants them to come to
- 1:04:10Speaker 9: the White House so he can honor him with like
- 1:04:12Speaker 9: the highest civilian award.
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: And I think that's really cool. Absolutely yeah, absolutely go rider.
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: Good for him. I remember being a sixteen year old
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: boy fighting some swells if you know what I mean.
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: You know, I don't know, Jared, I can joke because
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: everybody survived. Everybody survived. It's fine. I love you asked
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: that to make sure. And I had to make sure.
- 1:04:33Speaker 3: The man I fought some swells when I was sixty
- 1:04:36Speaker 3: years I almost got an award from the President as well.
- 1:04:40Speaker 9: This guy.
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: Please, you thought you'd heard it all. Just think you've
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: shoot everything?
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: Yeah, not even close.
- 1:04:48Speaker 13: Who's spiraling? Who's getting canceled?
- 1:04:50Speaker 4: What's the local buzz? What can we expect?
- 1:04:53Speaker 13: We're diving head first into the chaos. It's the mile
- 1:04:57Speaker 13: high height? Yeah, what's what's what's up with j mix
- 1:05:01Speaker 13: one hundred?
- 1:05:01Speaker 3: Well, I'd like to welcome everybody to July twenty ninth,
- 1:05:05Speaker 3: which is National Lazagna Today La.
- 1:05:12Speaker 4: Lazagna.

- 1:05:20Speaker 4: Mama Mia?
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: There we go?
- 1:05:23Speaker 3: Now Laya probably one of my most favorite foods ever,
- 1:05:35Speaker 3: specifically the Magianos slice. When you go into Maggiano's and
- 1:05:39Speaker 3: get that chopped salad with biggle slab of lazagna that is.
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: A living girl.
- 1:05:44Speaker 4: Thelasagna that has both the ground meat and sausage as
- 1:05:48Speaker 4: well as all yeah me oh for meat and lazagna
- 1:05:53Speaker 4: is part of one of my favorite quotes too, from
- 1:05:55Speaker 4: Lil Wayne.
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: Oh it's about real jez.
- 1:05:57Speaker 4: They move in silence like lazangna.
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: That's a exactly what I thought when I eat my
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: Baggiano's lazagna.
- 1:06:04Speaker 3: I said, I'm a real g Yes you should, I'm
- 1:06:07Speaker 3: an l I'm.
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: A lazagna all right.
- 1:06:11Speaker 3: Anyway, Happy Lazagnia Day to everybody except my mom, who
- 1:06:14Speaker 3: made the worst lasagna ever growing up because she put
- 1:06:16Speaker 3: spinach in it and it was disgusting.
- 1:06:19Speaker 4: So Jeremy's mom catching strays.
- 1:06:21Speaker 3: Yeah, ever, eat my mom's lasagna because it was nasty
- 1:06:24Speaker 3: and it was chicken chicken lasagna with spinach.
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: In it is that lag It should be a crime.
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: My mother should have been thrown in jail for doing that.
- 1:06:36Speaker 3: Child Protective Services should have showed up and taken me
- 1:06:40Speaker 3: from that home.
- 1:06:42Speaker 2: Abuse.
- 1:06:43Speaker 4: Abuse is say yeah, the chicken and spinach.
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: I mean yeah, oh Barftown, USA. I got one more
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: thing for it. It is a local story. Then we'll
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: get into your local stuff, Katie.
- 1:06:54Speaker 3: The Colorado Marmot Research Program has lost some of their funding.
- 1:06:59Speaker 3: They've been around since nineteen sixty two researching marmots, So
- 1:07:03Speaker 3: in order to make up the lost funds, they're dedicating
- 1:07:07Speaker 3: a page to marmots called only Marms instead of only fans.
- 1:07:12Speaker 3: Get it, it's only Marms now. It's g rated material.
- 1:07:15Speaker 3: They're not gonna make it nasty or anything like that.
- 1:07:17Speaker 3: But it is various Marmot picks each and every day.
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: And I would imagine there's some sort.
- 1:07:24Speaker 3: Of donation link or something on only Marms that you
- 1:07:28Speaker 3: can go on there and donate.
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: My mom just says.
- 1:07:39Speaker 4: You're in trouble.
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: She just said, I heard that.

- 1:08:04Speaker 3: I didn't experience like really good lasagna until I moved
- 1:08:08Speaker 3: out of the house. I had no idea that other

- 1:08:15Speaker 2: And it wasn't fresh spinach. It was that little box.
- 1:08:17Speaker 3: Of the frozen And I could still to this day
- 1:08:21Speaker 3: remember her putting that in the fridge and it would

- 1:08:23Speaker 2: Yeah, and then she'd go over to the sink and
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: ring it out, bring all the water.

- 1:08:30Speaker 3: in there, and and the smell.
