- Michelle Westfall: Hey, welcome to another episode of Pitch to Product Podcast. My name is Peter Drakulich As always, you guys are fantastic. And this is Bobby Quintero. So nice to be here again. this is first podcast together. Together. Awesome. I've been looking forward to this. Really what the topic I want to get into today is how clients can be better prepared. And the reason why we call this a Pitch to Product podcast, We're finding that a lot of people that are coming in and making an application, you people don't understand, like I have a pretty, you've been here now for a while. We have a pretty tight selection process. ⁓ yes. today's episode is going to be about all the things that can help that first meeting go better. Yes. And what you can be more prepared for. we're going to start off with the conversation of the business part of this, right? Well, let's also start with they have to understand, and I said this last time, your idea is a business. have to treat it as a business. When you come to us, you have to be realistic about your product, because it has to be manufactured, and it has to be able to sell. It is a business. Yeah. And again, people think, and again, these are the stages, an inventor needs to turn into an entrepreneur, and an entrepreneur needs to turn into a business owner. Our best clients are people who already own businesses in other areas or do other business products or other business services. Yes. Because they understand the process of starting a company. Your idea? does not make you money. Selling your idea over and over makes money. And in order to make money, you have to have what? Margins. Margins. that's exactly what... Now again, I have great margins on a product, but I only sell one a year, what am I looking at? Unless you're selling it for... You're making a million dollars. You're not living. Right. So the idea here is you want to have margins that make a consumer feel they're getting the best value. They're getting something that's unique, that's tangible. but that you also have your margins built in so you can reach volume. margins without volume in a product space is not worth doing. ⁓ So I'll just say this, I've been doing this now like this for 10 years and you've been doing it for other companies in the same capacity. Yeah, need, I assess the entrepreneur more than I assess the product. When you come to us, the first thing we look at, and not only the product, we do face to face meetings. We're not doing phones. We're going to meet. We want to see you face to face. We want to talk to you. We understand what you have. We understand your passion for it, but also understand your capabilities, right? Where you're at, because you could have limited capabilities. There's stuff we can teach you. There's stuff we're to help you. There's stuff we can do for you. We're going to help you. But you have to be willing and we have to know that you're willing to do it. Well, and that's a good segue into the fear conversation, right? Like, again, if and I wouldn't expect anybody that doesn't know what they're doing for the first time. It's fearful, right? Like there's trepidation because you don't know what you don't know. Would you say now that you've been here for a while that do we know what we're talking about out there? Oh my God, yes. And I look at it because I'm new. I'm still new to this space of manufacturing with these guys the way to do it. And having everything in the house is so illuminating and nicer because the conversations we have with you guys is so much better. So much better, so much cleaner, so much easier because we could iron a lot of things out just from the beginning and also let you know what we expect from you. as much as what you expect from us. And that's the synergy that we want. So let's continue on the fear part, right? Because when we get someone who, and look, I always appreciate someone who takes the time to fill out our pretty lengthy form, right? Everyone tells me, ⁓ just get a name and address and phone number and we can talk to everybody. That's not what we're trying to do. I'm trying to filter down to the ideas and the products and the people that make the most sense. Because success is managed by us and by yourself. So the very first thing and the very first topic when we get a bunch of applications that say, I don't want to share anything, I don't want to have this conversation, somehow you're missing the very first step. It's realistic. You're not being realistic. Well, unless you can make it yourself, you're going to have to speak to someone. That's why we have a non-disclosure agreement. Thank you. And it's right there on the first page. And we say it as an acknowledgment. I want to make sure we can have a conversation with you in privacy. I am not here to steal ideas. on our very first page of the intake form before you've given me anything more than your name, phone number, is an acknowledgement that there is a private conversation that we are not gonna disclose anything. It links to something, it is, and it's acknowledgement Once we can ⁓ get that, the more information we can get so that we can do an assessment so we know, hey, look it, that was a great idea, but I don't think you're quite ready. I'd love to have more of those conversations because we have an incomplete education platform. No, some ideas that we don't get past the first page. We don't do pharmaceuticals. Well, drug company. Right. So, you know, good. Let's clear those out. Like, again, I highly perpetual energy. Oh, my God. know, again, wind farm solar, those kind of things that are great. They're not us. Like, there's just there's no mark. Margins are market in them. We're not developing a car. Oh, flying cars. Thank you. Yeah. Exactly. But, you know, the big one that we get is a lot of, like, nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, and no one understands the claims process, right? And so you cannot make a claim that your thing cures everything. You have to go and prove it. That's a clinical trial. Double-line studies. The money it takes just to get past that. So I'm not saying that we can't do that. I'm just saying that the majority of people that call us that are individuals or small... groups of people that put some money together to get an idea to market, they are trying to shortcut something that can't be shortcut. Now, there's things that we could shortcut. I can get your product to that preparation stage. I can get you to that point, but I can't make the guarantees that you're going to be able to get it to be successful. So that's kind of why I say no. I am looking to help my clients or our clients be successful because their success. Our success. And that's just the way it works. please. You know, don't get mad at us if we say that we don't think your idea, it fits our model. It's not that it's a bad idea. It's just there's certain things like I can't provide advice for service industries. No, not what we do. We're a products driven company. Exactly. So again, please take a look at the form. And I want to link this. Everybody sees like we are not here to steal the idea. I want to have a comfortable conversation because we can help you get further along on our very first call to make you ⁓ understand the process and that's really the key thing here is understand the entirety of the process then help you overcome the fear of that or again a lot of people who are already looking for this service that don't know we exist you know those are conversations that I want to get further along with and that's really our best clients people are looking for us have already maybe failed somewhere else ⁓ or again but also let's be realistic if you can't take 20 minutes to fill out a form explain your idea in your own words for a company that you want to help manufacture given us information, you're not being realistic. We can't pull it out of your head. We have to know what you're thinking. We want to be able to sit with you, go over everything, but we have to have the basis of what we're talking about so when we have a meeting, we're not losing time, being unproductive. We want to be able to sit down and have direct questions. Fully understand your product because we got to go through the materials. We got to go through sizing. We got to go through CADs. We got to go through a lot of things with you. And we also got to go through, if we're launching it, branding. There's a lot of work to do branding a product. There's a lot of work we do. Let's get as much as we can from you, have honest discussions, and treat it as a proper business. Well, and that leads into the reason why we host video calls. You've seen the space now, but how many video conference rooms do we have? Five? The big meeting rooms, there's seven? Right, and it's not enough. No, no. Oh my God, I'm sitting on the sofa in the back room by the pickleball court. I couldn't find a room. And yes, you heard right. We have a pickleball court in the office, so we have to blow off some steam at the end of the day. Bobby right now seems to be the champion of pickleball. yeah, don't challenge him. ⁓ So, look, that's great. So, on a video call, Bobby, you and I get on them. I'm to ask you, what are you looking for to help make ⁓ a better conversation from the beginning? What does the client need to bring or the potential client bring to you so that we can have a conversation? The product is important, but also the sincerity of the person we're dealing with. Because we're going to get to know each other. You are trusting us with your baby. We're going to work for you. But we want to know that you're sincere also. I don't want a person that's just planning on handing us a product. You guys do everything. We don't pick up the phone. We're not taking you as a client. Right. We can't be the CEOs of 700 products. that's where, you know, again, the decisions, the idea 99.9 % of the time, your idea, where you fit into our scope. And the reason why it's a collaborative process is because we need your subject matter expertise. Yes. You came up with this idea five, 10 years ago or two years ago or a few days ago, but it came to you over time because you've seen something the rest of the world didn't see. So we have to catch up on that. What we do is I can manufacture a market, product that we feel is going to have margin and that the market is looking for. Right. Because that's it. Our job is to hand you a product ready to go. Yeah. But the passion is yours. Right. The sales is yours. 100 % and the sweat and tears and doing what you have to do for that is yours. I think that thing that came out of your head that now we have in your hands, ready to sell. Here you go. Let's go sell it. Yeah, let's do it right. Well, and look, we've heard and the lady behind the camera here, Michelle, came into us because she pitched us a product. And, you know, again, ⁓ we just had another where the people said that, you know, they felt like this was a pitch and they were hoping that we liked the idea. And I love that because that is so important because if you can pitch your product, we can make it right. So talk about if you can pitch your idea, our job is to make the product. I now need you to go and pitch the product itself. That's why it's so important for us to understand. this is not a shark tank pitch. This is a very comfortable pitch. I need to understand what you have because when you get your product in your hand, you will be in front of pressure situations where you have to have your pitch tight. You have to have your product tight. You have to have your answers tight and that's what we help you do. Right? Because again, it doesn't matter if you're selling it to an individual on direct to consumer or whether you're selling it into a box store or whether you're going into a Yeah. That's trade show distribution. Like all that stuff. People are going to ask you questions and I'd rather show it to them. Yes. Right. So different when you have the dream in your head and you have the product in your hands. Yeah. Completely different. Because now you're actually trying to move a product and there's questions you're to get when it's in your hands. from the boxes to how to ship and everything else that you should know. And that's part of the business of the invention. So let's talk about the ⁓ clients that we like best, right? They always show us something. Yes. And what is it that they can usually show us? You have to have at least a sketch. You have to have at least something explaining so we understand where your mind is coming from also. You have to be able to explain the product, explain as to what the need is, because there's no need for it. Right. Who are we solving the problem for? Right. Where's the market space? Exactly. What have you found? You know, again, I understand why business owners are very, they come into us very, you know, with a lot of open arms and a lot of concepts because they already know their industry really well and they know what's missing. The other people that call us are people that have a weekend project. They try and find something on Amazon to make it go quicker and it's not there. Right? It's a tool, it's a utensil. It's like something that you go, wait a minute, how come it's not there? You do more research and it's like... Okay, maybe you found it's there, but it's not done well. And that's what I love because that means we're not the only crazy ones doing a put the product space or product into a space, but that's called gray space. That means someone's familiar with their idea and there's other people buying it, but it always comes down to the bad execution. Why something doesn't sell. Right. And also think of there's not a product you buy now that doesn't have eight or 10 different attachments or any of upsells or anything that goes with it. Yeah. There's always room for the product. We just have to capture it properly for you. Yeah. So I was going to add, for me, what I like to see when someone, ⁓ not a prototype where you went to a prototype company, and I'm not knocking prototype companies, there's an absolute need for that type of service. What I'm talking about is show me the proof of concept. I need to know that your idea has a way that it works. And if it works, that is something we, now our job is to make it into a product, which is very different than making a prototype. And that's why I always like clarify those two. A prototype is just to keep practicing since you get it right. Exactly. Or it's to show, demonstrate, feel, touch, you know, mechanical gears that you can get online without designing them are not necessarily the ones you can manufacture easily. So what a prototype can do, it's supposed to be big and clunky, but it needs to prove concept. So does it open a can better? Does it put your shoe, you know, keep your shoe in form better? Like those are the things that I want to see. ⁓ Those are products that can easily assess. Yes. Right. Proof of concept. It's when someone comes to us with a an idea that doesn't have the hasn't not proved out the concept like that is, you know, if you don't have the formula for something or if you don't have the kind of 123 steps of like, hey, this is how it would work. I'm not asking you have the details. It doesn't have to be small. It doesn't have to be perfect. Just show me problem. Don't show. Here's the problem. What's the solution? Exactly. Working towards. That's a product. Exactly. That's a product. The solution to the problem is your product. And so, again, let's say someone doesn't have that. I'm still happy with the napkin. I still want to have that conversation. You might not be ready for us. Or it might be something that we could say, hey, let's put together a starting point here and try and get a proof of concept for you. And if we can't, obviously, if it doesn't work the way someone thought it would, that's always the concern I have. And I try and avoid that. want to see things that I know, OK, that's already worked out. You, by doing this yourself, just saved yourself a ton money in a prototype process. if you're a professional, you're a doctor, you're a surgeon, you know how use your surgeon tools, but you don't know how to make them. Or you know how it could be better. It's our job to help you make it better. It's our job to make it realistic and also make it as a business with margins. Because the goal still has to be sold. Yeah. And you want to be able to sell it to your fellow doctors. You want to sell this tool. If you're a body shop mechanic and you have a pool that makes a trunk come off easier. There's a lot of body shops. Let's make it easier. But it has to be tested properly. It has to go through the, so it works right. And insurance, it's a business. ⁓ Let's go through all the parts of it properly. we had a quick conversation this morning ⁓ and it's, ⁓ you know, some other things with ⁓ A of people have gone around and got We learned this morning that we had a potential client. ⁓ I'm pretty confident we're gonna be working with them. they called a manufacturer which was the wrong manufacturer and they got quotes for tooling that was in the hundreds of thousands of dollars and I'm like, I don't see the need for that. Not one bit. But it wasn't until they explained to me who they had called and I'm like, okay, that makes sense. That's not the process you're gonna go down. ⁓ And we can do that because we have a network of manufacturing. I always tell everybody what we do in our Accelerator services. I can give it to you. can give you the blueprint. You can do this yourself. The only places that you can't do it is I have a team of experts under the roof. I am managing the process and they already know things to not do because they've learned. The other side of it is I've got the manufacturing process. Exactly. Okay. And then the cherry on top is I have people that are going to help us market it, build a brand and be prepared and know your product as well as probably better than most of my clients do because they have been involved in it the whole time. And then there are other products. And and continually because it doesn't stop there's always something new to add to it something that we could develop and save you money from trial and error To their credit the guys we spoke to today were so thankful at the end. they were being quoted was yeah. ⁓ my god, we could produce for that, know, and they came around goes Yeah, we're gonna do business with them good guys, but so that that goes back in the fear category, right? Yes, if we didn't know that ⁓ If they had explained that to us earlier, know we wouldn't have been on two or three calls with Right? So I'm glad that I'm glad it came out. But again, these are things I'm not asking you and Bobby's not asking and the other idea consultants aren't asking you because we're going to take advantage of this information. I look at it this way. You have tried so many other places or done what you've done and you can't find what you're looking for. You found us. I get it. Other people might have hurt you or said the wrong things to you or made you feel that they rejected you. Or they only do a small segment of what you need. Exactly. And you're going to go. Over here for design, here to prototype, over here to help you with branding, here. Let's do it all in one place. can talk to each other, communicate, get it down to faces. The Accelerator program is six months. That is phenomenal. Six months to be ready to produce. That is phenomenal because everything's in-house. And you're involved in every step of it. Well, and it's collaborative. Yes. But again, why do think people are afraid to show us these things upfront? What do we need to tell people right now to be more comfortable and say, look, fill out the form. on the first page to click. Help us understand. embarrassed. Some people are embarrassed. OK. Because they've gone through so many of them, so many different I can see that. Yeah, and ⁓ I've spoken to So we don't judge. Not one bit. ⁓ Bobby, have we charged anybody for ⁓ our consultations? No. it's a two-way consultation. It's an interview process, right? Everyone was left with a smile. Exactly. Everybody learns something. Everybody, even if we can't help you, we could talk to you. I've talked to clients that, listen, we don't do that kind of product. Maybe you should look at this route. And then they've been thankful because they never thought of it. Everybody needs someone they can trust to talk to, especially in this process. Because there's a lot involved in this. There's a lot involved in this. It's just not one step. It's not give it to me now. I'm going go put it on. Amazon put it out there. Well, I read your terms. You know how to do Shopify. You know how to this stuff out there. There's so much more involved with it that you're going to need help with and we're here to help you because if your product sells, we're making it for you. So you've been in the product space for 30 years? Yes. Being 35, that's a pretty long career. We're old. It explains the grades. Exactly. So how do you know when something's going to sell or something's not going to sell? It's got to make business sense. And also you can't... I'll give you a quick story. me your predictability. There's working in the invention space. Things happen and you get a flood of ideas in that space. When Sully Sullenberger land that plane into Hudson, I had so many ideas for I had a guy who wanted to put a propeller in front of a jet plane to kill the birds. I was like, no. A fire happens. I want to have parachutes for everybody to jump off a 30 story building. Oh, she knows. Yeah, sure. It's not doing that. Or a repelling system. They're back and repelled on the building. Yeah, it has to be realistic. You know. ⁓ Flying cars have been seen that forever. Everybody wants the Jetsons to fold a briefcase car. Yeah, the Iron Man suit. No, so great. And on that, look at the ideas that we do have. I will tell you, I don't see a lot of bad ideas. What I see is a lot of bad execution. Someone that's gone down the wrong rabbit hole. Someone that's been dropped off and did something that they spent too much money on. And again, they got the services that they were delivered. But sometimes, well, I'm going to be nice, not always. nice. It's the podcast. The world's going to see it. So I'm just going to say they got the services that they signed up for. The execution point of what we do is all about how to turn an idea into a product, which is different. Right. And that's where, again, I'm trying to put our expertise into your hands. know, the people watching this and the people that are looking to hire us. The expertise, you are the subject matter. You're working with my team. I always say that you're becoming the CEO of my team. It goes one of two ways. You either dictate to them what they want to, what you want to have done, or you listen to the experts and you get what we will work with you to understand and navigate. We're looking so far down the road. Yes. And again, we're manufacturers. We have to space time. We have to go into production with you. We have to look at scheduling. We work with 170. manufacturing places all over the world. we have to schedule everything and everything has to be done in the proper place. Right. And so let's take some fear out of people. You know, when you talk to a manufacturer, their automatic thing is they want to make 10,000, 30,000, 50,000 pieces of something. No. We work on thousand, a thousand piece minimum quantity orders, 1500, 2000 pieces. Cause I want to still have that flexibility to iterate if we need to add something, make a little change to what we need to do. But our job is to deliver that 4.4, 4.5 star product right from the get go. And that's an amazing thing. Minimal Successful Product. I walked by a product that we're doing and it is so iterated to a .7 the other day. I love it. And you know what, I believe in it. And I think that product needs it. My concern now is like, there is a huge cost that's going to come with all those extra parts tooling molding. And that's okay, because I'd rather know it upfront. And we can still go back and say, well, let's break this down. Phase one is this product here. Then when we get some revenue coming in from sales, we can go phase two, phase three, phase four. ⁓ Or again, and due to tweaks along the way to it, we don't have to retool everything. Exactly. So we've already got it processed. So just adding that. So again, just because it's the big picture, I'm happy to do that. But again, everything in business starts with the starting point, right? I always go back to those gold miners up in the Yukon, right? Before they start putting all the equipment out and doing all the investment, they go with the little pan, a little piece of dirt, and they shake it around some water and like they look at, okay, this is a little gold here, right? And then they go and say, okay, let me get a bigger, let me go do some more test drilling. Let me go do that. And they have a process to figure out where the pay dirt is. And that's no different than any business. every business has to do that. ⁓ I've always said you're not building a house from the third story. You're to start with the foundation. Yes. And it has started planning and you have to have the blueprint. You have to have everything because everything has to go in order. You're to have the window guys here. You're to have the guys do electric. Everything is planned. You don't set the cornerstone right. The rest of the building. Right. So that's the most important stone. Yes, sir. ⁓ So we talked about the privacy acknowledgement. We talked about the access. We kind of touched on the execution failures. ⁓ your experience like when someone had an idea and they they failed in the execution like that to me is the most important part that we are trying without try we have proven that we can avoid now that you've been here you've seen that action where do think that that magic The good thing about the process we do is that as we're working with you and we're encouraging you and we're working with you, you're learning, your confidence level goes up because now you know you really have something. Yeah. Exactly. So we're planning you to have your business ready for you. And that's where we've seen people come in. It's what I have, but they get so happy towards the end. And that's what I'm seeing. I've only been here for a month and I'm seeing people, they get so much happier at the end because they're ready. They're going to go ready to get the product going. And that's the best thing ever. Yeah. And so look, I guess part of this podcast is to help you understand like, you know, this is a, there is fear. I get it. Like doing something for the first time we talked about that, but that's what you're hiring us for. We've done this, right? Does everything work out every day at the way we like we want to? No, does everything come to the letter of the intent is to make a product. Do I need all the services that ⁓ everybody's trying to sell to say, ⁓ I need this, I need that. We have great relationships with manufacturers and they are part of our team. ⁓ They help us iterate, they help us make things, they help us go through ⁓ the iteration process faster and sometimes the documents that go with that catch up afterwards. Yes. Right. Because I'd rather build on the fly to test it out quicker than to create all the, you know, CAD models to the perfection, create all the things like, let's do it fast so that if we still have to iterate, we have that flexibility to. And that's my only part is like when someone says, you know, how do I, how do I have those guarantees? You know, I always go back to, I can guarantee that we're not going to fail. Right. I can't guarantee that the path that you, or someone sees in the beginning is going to be the only path that we go down. Right, it's a little bit circular, it's a lot circular. Like sometimes there is going back to the drawing board. That's why we're a flat fee service. Because I can't predict that, I don't want anybody fearful of that. And the only time that I would introduce an additional fee or cost is that if we design what we designed and this is the way it was and now you want to ask, ⁓ can we add something more? You added something. Right, can we do a second version? And even then it's not even a fee. It is sometimes a credit towards production or it's a hey we can design it now knowing that once we launch the first product this one's right in the next queue. So we're very flexible with that because look at it we're manufacturers at the end day if it makes sense I want to make it. would love to have the second and third versions of your product. ⁓ And look at that conversation between ⁓ the minimal successful product to what I call the 2.0 version. is sometimes like, yes, that's great. It's when we start getting the third, you know, the 3.0, 4.0, it's just going to take us longer time. So your six month reference is for MSP. You know, if we're going to look at a, let's go into the 2.0. If we think it's reasonable, we'll absolutely do that. We do that 90 % of the time. But when we start talking third version or when I say that third phase, fourth phase, things that could have waited, I want to get the product that is going to be successful to a person or consumer as quickly as we can. That's the goal. And I think that's where, again, there's a little bit of fear, but that's education. Let us ⁓ handle that. Again, I don't have a problem going further than we should. I just want to be alleviated off the time. Because again, if things take more time, it's for a reason. Find me another place that give you six-month guarantee. Yeah. Find me another place. It's not going to happen. That does everything in-house. Yeah. You're involved just as much as we're involved, because we stake what we do on it. You know, we're 52 launch. We stake our name on it because we're doing this to get your product there. Let's get to production. We're very open and transparent about the work we're doing. Well, I'll go with this. 99 % of the time, the reason why things go longer is because there's a good valuation from the consumer. There's a slight change from our customer that says, you know, I thought this was going to be the way I wanted it, but like, can we do this, this and this? I'm fine with that. Right. And 90 % of time, I agree with that. If we don't agree, my team will tell you here's why we don't agree or it's not even just agree. It's like, just here's the pros and cons. That's a better conversation. And that's the thing we have to have, the pros and cons. You have to understand, you might say I want this, but remember, we're still looking at pricing and margins because it is a business and we you to be successful. Well, look, we're also trying to avoid the high cost of tooling. When you start making 40 parts, right, it's like I'm always concerned that we... We can't get there, look at this is again why the more information that I can get on the very first call from somebody, a video call that we can get to meet each other, that Bobby can get to meet you, that Mike can get to meet you, that Cam can get to meet you, that all my team can get to meet you. ⁓ It helps us assess to make sure that we have a plan of action before you even hire us. And I'm not charging you for that. No. Right. So it's really hard to assess a product, but for people that are old like Bobby and I and the team that we have, it's actually pretty easy. Listen, I love the fact that we do a podcast ⁓ Being old we didn't know who we're calling on the other end You get to know us you get to look us over you go to our website You get to read stuff about us. You get to see some of our products. Yeah, you get to see our process You know us way before we ever know you so if you're going to come sit with us send us information have a business partner bring them on the call Let's get to know each other because we're gonna be talking We're gonna go over things. And that's a great point, right? If you're gonna do this and the topic of this conversation is let's be prepared for these meetings because, you know, we'll kind of blooper reel afterwards and talk about all the people we've talked to and, you know, please put a shirt on. ⁓ my God, stop. You just shocked me. I remember that. My first week. Please put a shirt on. I'm not offended, but this is a real conversation. If you're gonna be pitching your product, you have to be little professional. And that's really what we're looking for, because this is a professional conversation. We will maintain that professionalism. We want that professionalism. We're not here to buy your idea. We're here to help you. And I will say this. If you have a product idea that you want to turn into a business, there's no other team than 52 Launch that will do that from A through Z, turnkey with you. And people always ask, well, what happens after the accelerator? We are now a symbiotic partner. I don't need a contractual relationship. I don't need equity. What I will always be is your manufacturer, because whenever you get a purchase order or whenever you start scaling or whenever you start getting your dream starts to realize, I can already scale your manufacturing. can already do all the things. You don't need to hire a team of people to be your back end support. I already have them all. And we have all the foundation and everything for you already. We've done most of the work. We know what manufacturers... know your and business as well We know your product better than anyone else, than somebody else coming in. Yeah. So again, is there an equity conversation down the road on a third and fourth order? Absolutely. is. We do that all the time. There's acquisitions that we can talk about. Yes. That is the core. The more I know, the more Bobby knows, the more you're prepared to have these conversations. We are really looking to have business professional conversations more often so that we can do a better job of educating the people who aren't quite ready to get them ready and to help those that are already ready to go and get this thing done. And we're here for. Yeah. I have some reason I hear I just wrote, yes, we can. I don't want you to be fearful that we can't do something. If we can't do something, it's not that we can't do it. I will just give you the reasons why you would want to consider doing something else. Right? We can make anything. have the resources to do everything. Yes, we can. The, you know, the conversation we can talk for our next topic is like where, where does the yes, we can meet into, I'll give you a good example, clothing. Yes, we can. I'm not making t-shirts for you. You go buy those off, off a catalog. Right. Are we making a t-shirt that's got technology in it? Bring the technology? Yes, we can. Now, the reason why t-shirts and shoes and all that stuff, how many sizes are there in a men's shoe, If you do half sizes? 24? Yeah, exactly. Right. So think about that. You have to buy 24 units of something. And again, we have a margin scale. So I know that the majority of people are going to be in men's. It's going to be 10, 10, 11, 10 and a half, 10, 10 and a half and 11. That's your bell curve. But. You know, many nines do you carry? many eights you carry? many fifteens do you carry? Right, so understand your bell curve, but think about that. Just if I just stuck with the 10, 10 and a half and 11 times 24, that is... And add another color. Right, and now you two colors. And how many more SKUs are you gonna have? So how many do you have to produce? We need a container of a million. And the sole is what changes in those half sizes, so that means I have to have a tool for each one of soles. So I'm just saying, shoes are fantastic businesses, but... They're there. You've got to have the backing and the funding. You have to have the perfect idea to bring to the market and just designing a shoe. It's easy to do online, but manufacturing shoes has a cost to it. I'd rather create a single widget that someone's going to buy over and over that I don't have to have a lot of variables. You know, one size fits most. Yes, is this term because every clothing factory has a different sizing structure. Some fit really well some you know, I just say I tried on some Japanese jeans. No They don't have these hips yeah, yeah, thank God for these like stretch fabric pants now cuz Yeah, I can go down the size Bobby anything else you want to add I think we can we can wrap this up I think people understand like, know come prepared. He's call us. All I say is this This is, what we do here is fantastic. Give us a call. If you have a product you really wanna do something, give us a call. Let's talk. Well, I'm gonna correct Bobby. Give us a call, but I'd much prefer that you fill out the so we can get on that video call. That's the type of ⁓ we have. Again, the idea consultants are always in the office. ⁓ If in the middle of a conversation there is something I need to go and grab one of the team members for or get them on a call, you know, again, I'm trying to make the most impactful first half hour so you understand what we do. Then, you know, again, we selectively will send out a proposal. If you're not ready for us, I will send you information. If you are ready for us, I will send you a proposal so you understand how it works and the finances that go with it, which again, we share that on the first call. At the end of the day, I want to start answering questions about how to get started and what that means and what that looks like, what the timelines are. Obviously, look at there are some complexities. The average that we have is a six month program. But when we're talking about complex electronics products, heavy mechanical products, there are some exceptions to not making that timeline. That doesn't mean I charge more. Just means it's a slightly different process and we can talk about that. But having us understand what we are. needing to do, I'm only looking to make sure that you can make money with it and then I can help you do it. And if we can't see you making money with it, I wouldn't invest a dime in this. Not worth it. Well, look it, I appreciate your time. I hope you guys get the most amount of impact out of these podcasts or clips. to know us. Get to know us, get to talk to us, fill out your form. ⁓ if you are able to please like us, follow us, help us spread the word. Everybody knows someone that's in the entrepreneur. in real space that is trying to do what they're point them our way. I'd be happy to. We can even talk about ⁓ that looks like for you or the referral. I am looking for the right people to help them bring their products to market. And Bobby and I are in this team. You've met Dan, you've met John, you're going to meet the rest of the team on these podcasts because at the end of the day, everybody has a huge role in this company to help you succeed.
