- 1:39Speaker 1: Let's go, Let's go, Let's go. It's a story you
- 1:43Speaker 1: need to hear to believe. They grab your popcorn because
- 1:45Speaker 1: there is more. I have not done much regarding the
- 1:50Speaker 1: Nancy Guthrie story, the mother of Today's show host Savannah Guthrie,
- 1:54Speaker 1: who is missing. Nobody knows it. It seems to be
- 1:59Speaker 1: a very bungled investigation, but that could just be what
- 2:04Speaker 1: we're seeing and not what's happening on the inside. And
- 2:06Speaker 1: there were deadlines and the deadlines were passed and ransom
- 2:12Speaker 1: notes and was money paid and how bitcoin was delivered,
- 2:15Speaker 1: And then they went to a neighbor's house and they're
- 2:18Speaker 1: searching the neighbor's house and neighbors like, we didn't do anything,
- 2:21Speaker 1: and they have now been I believe dropped as potential suspects.
- 2:26Speaker 1: But what got released yesterday from cash Pattel, the FBI
- 2:30Speaker 1: director were photos. So when they noticed that the camera system,
- 2:38Speaker 1: which is nest, was missing from the front door, and
- 2:42Speaker 1: so they were able to go back and go through
- 2:44Speaker 1: the data and be able to get the images of
- 2:48Speaker 1: a person coming to the door, sneakers, long pants, a
- 2:54Speaker 1: zip up, a sweater or jacket, backpack, sche mask, black
- 2:58Speaker 1: gloves and clear in the left hand on the waistband
- 3:02Speaker 1: with the left hand on it, a firearm, very clear,
- 3:07Speaker 1: and you're like, okay, what's happening here. Then it shows
- 3:10Speaker 1: some images more of the face which has a scheme
- 3:13Speaker 1: mask and died sche mask, and you're like, I said,
- 3:16Speaker 1: this is me talking. Does anybody else think that looks
- 3:19Speaker 1: like a woman. I don't know if you've seen the pictures,
- 3:25Speaker 1: the eyes, the eyelashes, eyebrows, you can kind of see
- 3:28Speaker 1: and I'm like kind of looks like a woman. Then
- 3:31Speaker 1: you take a look at the scheme mask itself where
- 3:33Speaker 1: it's cut around the mouth, and you're like, wait, whoa,
- 3:35Speaker 1: that might be a mustache. And of course I can't
- 3:39Speaker 1: tell from these images. I don't have any level of
- 3:41Speaker 1: expertise or any technology that would help me decipher these things.
- 3:44Speaker 1: I'm just telling you from the first I'm like, I
- 3:47Speaker 1: do not know if that's a guy. Very very very
- 3:51Speaker 1: odd stuff. But the whole thing is very odd. And
- 3:58Speaker 1: one of the things that we're kind of seeing at
- 4:03Speaker 1: this point is that, well, once you put pictures out,
- 4:09Speaker 1: you're gonna get phone calls.
- 4:11Speaker 2: So the video was huge yesterday, the fact that we
- 4:14Speaker 2: were able to see a person, will see their gate,
- 4:16Speaker 2: their clothing, get a look into his eyes, and perhaps
- 4:19Speaker 2: some facial hair and all those things. And then quickly
- 4:22Speaker 2: thereafter we heard about people of interest, We heard about
- 4:26Speaker 2: SWAT trucks being deployed. Putting together everything you saw yesterday,
- 4:30Speaker 2: where do you think this investigation is?
- 4:33Speaker 3: Well, I think the tension of someone last night. I
- 4:37Speaker 3: think it was probably led by a call in. It
- 4:40Speaker 3: all depends because it was in a vehicle, which is
- 4:42Speaker 3: kind of odd for this So it was either someone
- 4:45Speaker 3: called it in like it appears to be so, and
- 4:47Speaker 3: so FBI started going down there. Maybe they had the
- 4:50Speaker 3: locals watching a location and then that person got in
- 4:54Speaker 3: their vehicle and being fifteen miles from the Mexican border,
- 4:58Speaker 3: they chose to actually do a trap stop and detain
- 5:01Speaker 3: them and question them. Or it was something in a
- 5:04Speaker 3: traffic stop that the police officer saw that caused this.
- 5:08Speaker 3: Don't know exactly which of those two cases it is,
- 5:11Speaker 3: but it's probably like that. They're going to get more
- 5:13Speaker 3: calls when you put out video like that and you
- 5:16Speaker 3: put out pictures, especially because they're not definitive. There's a
- 5:20Speaker 3: you know, the mask on and other things, so the jacket,
- 5:22Speaker 3: the gate, the slight picture of his lips, and possibly
- 5:26Speaker 3: a mustache. People are going to say, oh, that looks
- 5:30Speaker 3: like so and so. The calls are going to come in.
- 5:32Speaker 1: And yes they are, and there's going to be a
- 5:34Speaker 1: lot of leads that lead to nowhere. I'm not the
- 5:40Speaker 1: only person who thinks this whole story is weird and
- 5:43Speaker 1: peculiar and looks to us like it's a very bungled,
- 5:49Speaker 1: messed operation. I think we've been through enough. I don't
- 5:56Speaker 1: say of these things because this is maybe a little
- 5:57Speaker 1: different where we are not fed the full information. We're
- 6:02Speaker 1: fed information to help them suss things out. And that's
- 6:07Speaker 1: where I think we are right now. I want to
- 6:10Speaker 1: give law enforcement a little bit of a breather here.
- 6:14Speaker 1: I want to give them a little bit of respect
- 6:17Speaker 1: and let them do their work. But they put out
- 6:21Speaker 1: these photos for a reason. Now what that reason is,
- 6:25Speaker 1: maybe they know and I don't, But doesn't mean they're
- 6:28Speaker 1: about to get a lot of calls and there could
- 6:29Speaker 1: be a lot of leads that lead to nothing. Absolutely, absolutely,
- 6:37Speaker 1: story is getting weirder by the second
