Epstein Survivors Push Britain to Oppose Any Maxwell Pardon (8/13/26) · The Epstein Chronicles

0:00
Speaker 1: What's up everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
0:03
Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. Any talk of Glayne Maxwell getting a pardon
0:10
Speaker 1: is absolute nonsense. If anybody ever deserved to be in prison,
0:16
Speaker 1: it's Glayne Maxwell. And I can't even believe that we
0:20
Speaker 1: have to have this conversation. Have we forgotten what Glainne
0:25
Speaker 1: Maxwell was found guilty of. Now, I shouldn't be shocked
0:30
Speaker 1: that there's a lot of people who have just shown
0:32
Speaker 1: up to the party talking a bunch of nonsense. But
0:35
Speaker 1: the truth is, anybody that followed the trial, anybody that
0:39
Speaker 1: followed the lead up, and certainly anybody who has listened
0:43
Speaker 1: to the survivors knows that Glayne Maxwell is as much
0:47
Speaker 1: of a monster as Jeffrey Epstein ever was, at least
0:51
Speaker 1: when it comes to proclivities. This woman was willing to
0:56
Speaker 1: use her womanhood to lure little girls into the belly
1:00
Speaker 1: of the beast. So anybody talking about Gallayne Maxwell getting
1:04
Speaker 1: a pardon should do everybody a favor and shut all
1:08
Speaker 1: the way up. Today we have an article from the
1:11
Speaker 1: Metro and the headline Andy Burnham needs to tell Trump
1:15
Speaker 1: not to pardon my groomer, Glayne Maxwell. This article was
1:19
Speaker 1: authored by Luke Alsford. Lara Bloom McGhee, who says she
1:26
Speaker 1: was groomed by Maxwell, aged twenty, has urged the new
1:29
Speaker 1: Prime Minister to make it clear Epstein's former girlfriend should
1:32
Speaker 1: stay behind bars. And what does it say about the
1:35
Speaker 1: President of the United States that anybody would have to
1:38
Speaker 1: convince him of that? That should just be a foregone conclusion. Right,
1:43
Speaker 1: We're not giving this psychopaths any kind of pardon. What
1:45
Speaker 1: are you crazy? But here we are talking about nonsense,
1:49
Speaker 1: talking about giving her a pardon. Now, look, I'm not
1:53
Speaker 1: saying that that's going to happen for sure. One of
1:56
Speaker 1: my biggest problems is that we're having the conversation at all.
2:00
Speaker 1: He's exhausted every avenue when it comes to an appeal,
2:04
Speaker 1: but all of a sudden she's going to get a pardon.
2:07
Speaker 1: Every court in the land says that she should stay
2:10
Speaker 1: in prison. But somehow she deserves clemency from the White House.
2:15
Speaker 1: Somebody make that make sense. Lawyer Spencer Covin, who has
2:19
Speaker 1: represented nine Epstein victims, said Burnham has a voice over
2:23
Speaker 1: a feared pardon of Maxwell, who is a British citizen.
2:27
Speaker 1: Trump is not ruled out granting clemency to the former
2:30
Speaker 1: socialite who is sentenced to twenty years in prison on
2:33
Speaker 1: child sex trafficking charges in twenty twenty two. Remember all
2:38
Speaker 1: that talk from all these people that call this a
2:40
Speaker 1: hoax now about kids being trafficked, and wayfair about Isaac Cappy,
2:46
Speaker 1: about Frazzle Drip, about all this other nonsense that was
2:50
Speaker 1: completely and utterly made up. But when they're confronted by
2:54
Speaker 1: real evil, by a real monster who's being protected by
2:57
Speaker 1: their team, all of a sudden, it's nuanced. All of
3:01
Speaker 1: a sudden, it's a hoax. Yeah, sorry, nobody buys it.
3:04
Speaker 1: Many survivors are outraged that Trump's new US Attorney General,
3:08
Speaker 1: Todd Blanche, who was responsible for moving Maxwell to a
3:11
Speaker 1: minimum security prison shortly after meeting her last year. No
3:16
Speaker 1: basis for it, no reason for it, just did it,
3:19
Speaker 1: And nobody's up in arms. Nobody's demanding that Todd Blanche
3:24
Speaker 1: be brought in for questioning. Oh, that's right, because even
3:27
Speaker 1: if he's brought in the clown show that makes up
3:30
Speaker 1: the Congress in the Senate, they're just going to give
3:33
Speaker 1: him a pass anyway. Got to make sure their god
3:36
Speaker 1: emperors hooked up right. One of those who reiled against
3:42
Speaker 1: Blanche's confirmation last week was McGee, who was just twenty
3:46
Speaker 1: when she met Maxwell at New York Fashion Week in
3:49
Speaker 1: two thousand. So what will happen now is people will
3:51
Speaker 1: say what she was twenty, how could she get abused?
3:54
Speaker 1: As if grown ass adults can't be abused, McGee told
3:59
Speaker 1: Metro pardon for Maxwell would not only be a travesty
4:02
Speaker 1: of justice, but a devastating message to survivors everywhere. We
4:06
Speaker 1: cannot allow this. We will not allow this. Look I agree,
4:11
Speaker 1: it's unacceptable and it should not be allowed. And anybody
4:16
Speaker 1: who backs the idea, I consider them an enabler and
4:22
Speaker 1: somebody that should be looked into. As well. As well
4:28
Speaker 1: as being British, Maxwell's victims were also groomed and abused
4:32
Speaker 1: at our residence in London, according to the US Department
4:35
Speaker 1: of Justice. Asked what our message would be to the
4:39
Speaker 1: UK's new Prime Minister, McGee said, Prime Minister Burnham, stand
4:43
Speaker 1: with us. Use your influence to ensure that the UK
4:46
Speaker 1: is a beacon of justice, not a sanctuary for those
4:49
Speaker 1: who exploit and abuse. Make it clear to President Trump
4:52
Speaker 1: and the world that pardoning Glaine Maxwell would be a
4:55
Speaker 1: grave injustice, that Britain will not tolerate. What they should
4:59
Speaker 1: do is open a case against Maxwell and try her
5:03
Speaker 1: over there as well. Pretty simple right that way, If
5:07
Speaker 1: she gets pardoned, she can't go back to the UK.
5:11
Speaker 1: She'll go to prison. And frankly, if New York was
5:15
Speaker 1: worth their weight in salt, they'd already have a dual
5:18
Speaker 1: sovereignty case opened on Glenn Maxwell. But the unfortunate truth
5:22
Speaker 1: is the vast majority of people who say they care don't.
5:26
Speaker 1: Burnham has agreed to meet Epstein victims, but is not
5:29
Speaker 1: considering holding a public inquiry into the pedophile's UK activities.
5:34
Speaker 1: Downing Street confirm this month. Couvin, who represented Epstein victims
5:39
Speaker 1: since two thousand and six, called on the PM to
5:41
Speaker 1: support an independent statutory inquiry into Epstein and say publicly
5:46
Speaker 1: if credible evidence exists that anyone participated in the financiers' crimes.
5:51
Speaker 1: The attorney added that the survivors are extremely concerned by
5:55
Speaker 1: tak Maxwell could be pardoned after her lawyers said she
5:58
Speaker 1: would only cooperate with the investigations into Epstein's crimes if
6:02
Speaker 1: granted clemency. She has nothing left to give. How many
6:06
Speaker 1: times will I have to say it? She's burned as
6:09
Speaker 1: a witness. Can you imagine Mark Agnafilo or Tenny Garrigos
6:16
Speaker 1: getting their hands on Maxwell on the stand, because that's
6:19
Speaker 1: the kind of lawyer she'd be dealing with. What if
6:22
Speaker 1: she named somebody like I don't know, Leon Black. You
6:25
Speaker 1: don't think Leon Black would show up to court with
6:27
Speaker 1: lawyers that are looking to eat Maxwell up. Queen perjury herself.
6:33
Speaker 1: Come on, man, stop bullshitting around. There's a lot of
6:36
Speaker 1: people that have no idea what they're talking about, who
6:40
Speaker 1: really love to hear themselves talk. Coovin told Metro victims
6:44
Speaker 1: should never be placed in the position of wondering whether
6:47
Speaker 1: the person convicted of helping facilitate their abuse might be
6:51
Speaker 1: freed because she has information that powerful people want. That
6:54
Speaker 1: would send a terrible message to trafficking survivors everywhere us.
7:00
Speaker 1: Whether Burnham could persuade Trump not to pardon Maxwell, the
7:03
Speaker 1: lawyer said, Britain absolutely has a voice. I don't think
7:07
Speaker 1: they'd be able to convince Trump of anything. We all
7:11
Speaker 1: know that Donald Trump's going to do whatever he wants
7:13
Speaker 1: to do. He doesn't give a damn what allies think,
7:17
Speaker 1: what you think, what I think? Hell, what is base thinks?
7:20
Speaker 1: The man's gonna do whatever he wants to do, and
7:24
Speaker 1: it's not like he's running for office ever. Again, he added,
7:27
Speaker 1: I would encourage Prime Minister Burnham and his government to
7:30
Speaker 1: communicate directly to President Trump that clemency from Maxwell would
7:34
Speaker 1: have consequences far beyond American politics. Like that sounds great,
7:39
Speaker 1: but I don't know what kind of leverage they have.
7:42
Speaker 1: What could the UK use his leverage against Trump. I
7:45
Speaker 1: don't think there's much, Couvin continued. The Prime Minister could
7:50
Speaker 1: say publicly and privately that Britain believes Maxwell should serve
7:53
Speaker 1: the sentence imposed upon her, Well, that would be cool,
7:56
Speaker 1: that would be nice. I don't think they're going to
8:00
Speaker 1: The lawyer said that there are still questions British institutions
8:03
Speaker 1: have to answer about how Epstein was able to operate
8:06
Speaker 1: for so long in plain sight, while surrounded by some
8:10
Speaker 1: of the most powerful people in the world. And it's
8:13
Speaker 1: really a question that has to be asked no matter
8:16
Speaker 1: where Epstein was, whether it's the UK, whether it's France,
8:20
Speaker 1: whether it's Eastern Europe, whether it's America. Wherever this man was,
8:25
Speaker 1: a trail of tears followed, and it's not even up
8:28
Speaker 1: for debate like you can debate the trafficking portion of it,
8:34
Speaker 1: like how vast that was, how many people were involved,
8:38
Speaker 1: because as I've always told you, it wasn't like this
8:41
Speaker 1: gigantic club where girls were being trafficked all over the
8:44
Speaker 1: world to a whole bunch of different people. It was
8:48
Speaker 1: select company, and only very few people that were close
8:52
Speaker 1: to Epstein or that Epstein was trying to bring into
8:55
Speaker 1: the fold were provided with that quote unquote benefit. And
9:00
Speaker 1: that's what Jeffrey Epstein was up to. It wasn't a
9:03
Speaker 1: Heidi Flice cat house where he's selling girls on backpage
9:07
Speaker 1: and haveing them go walk the blade. That was never
9:10
Speaker 1: what he was doing. And there's a lot of people
9:12
Speaker 1: that still don't understand exactly what was going down. The
9:17
Speaker 1: Senate unanimously passed a resolution last month declaring its opposition
9:21
Speaker 1: to any presidential pardon for Maxwell, who was repeatedly denied
9:25
Speaker 1: all wrongdoing. Yeah. Well, every single court in the land,
9:29
Speaker 1: including the Court of Public Opinion, has told Glenn Maxwell,
9:33
Speaker 1: we don't want to hear from her anymore. Shut up,
9:35
Speaker 1: do your sentence, and then disappear because nobody wants to
9:39
Speaker 1: hear your yapper. Senator Jackie Rosen a Democrat of Nevada
9:45
Speaker 1: said at the time, it's frankly horrifying that Trump would
9:48
Speaker 1: entertain the idea of clemency for even a second for
9:51
Speaker 1: a convicted sex trafficker. Look. I'm not a big fan
9:54
Speaker 1: of Jackie Rosen. I live in Nevada, not exactly what
9:58
Speaker 1: I would call a great representative, but she's not wrong here.
10:03
Speaker 1: Even the thought of giving Glane Maxwell a pardon is despicable,
10:08
Speaker 1: never mind going through with it. A government spokesperson said,
10:13
Speaker 1: our thoughts are firmly with the victims of Jeffrey Epstein
10:17
Speaker 1: who have suffered devastating trauma, and it is right that
10:21
Speaker 1: Glane Maxwell has been handed out a twenty year prison
10:23
Speaker 1: sentence for her role. The Prime Minister is committed to
10:27
Speaker 1: meeting with victims. We're looking at all options to support them.
10:31
Speaker 1: Well that's great, but how about we put a little
10:34
Speaker 1: walk behind the talk, because that's what we need, right
10:37
Speaker 1: We need people that are going to stand down business
10:40
Speaker 1: and people that aren't scared to dig into the deep
10:43
Speaker 1: corners and go into the shadows because that's where the
10:47
Speaker 1: story is. Is the British government going to be that
10:51
Speaker 1: group of people? I have my doubts, but like usual,
10:55
Speaker 1: will be here every step of the way, following along,
10:58
Speaker 1: and when there's some new information to share, we'll get
11:01
Speaker 1: it added to the catalog. Until then, that's going to
11:04
Speaker 1: do it for this one. All the information that goes
11:06
Speaker 1: with this episode can be found in the description box.
