- Casey: Hey y'all, welcome, welcome back to the Mention It All Again podcast. I'm KC, one half of your team today and every day. Well, most days. And I'm here with my beautiful co-host, the Blake. Hi, Blake. Blake: Hey y'all. Hey girl, what's poppin'? What's poppin'? Casey: you know, not much. Blake: having a little sip of yo glass of wine. You Casey: Always. Blake: have really fancy glasses of wine. Like that's a it's a Casey: These were a gift from this friend group that I had it when I was in Massachusetts, past doxing the Mormon Blake: the Casey: Wives is what I call them, because they were like weird and like Blake: yes. Casey: all like dating sets of brothers and twins. So like they were all really like intertwined. Blake: Those glasses would be gifted by like an extremely Casey: I know. Blake: like home goods-esque white girl friend group. Like they're cute, but they're Casey: Like thank you, the Mormon wives. They were horrible, but I did get some good gifts from them. Blake: I won't say too much, but I feel like we might we might be getting into some of that lore soon for the listeners, but I'm not gonna You never know you never know. Casey: You never know. My lore is so vast, like people can't even really speculate. They can't Blake: It really is. Casey: even consider how vast it could be. Blake: I feel like I feel like like knowing you as a person like it I be I mean this is the dumbest thing ever to say, like, but it's true. It's like knowing all of it like makes sense to like who you are now, but like also in a good way. Like I feel like sometimes someone can say like like you had this traumatic childhood and never experienced joy in your life and that actually makes a lot of sense. Like it's not like that. I feel like again, I'm just gonna tell the listenerslash viewer if we don't discriminate to just stay tuned because there might be a situation in which we are discussing this lore. there it might be, Casey: A hashtag lordrop might be coming. Stay toot. Blake: but I have to say, like in that regard, like it makes sense, but like also you like are such a different person than who you were when all that was happening. And I feel like you took it as Casey: It's so wild. I've lived a lot of lives. Blake: like a a lesson. You really have. Well when I met you, I mean we can't Casey: Ha ha Blake: like I mean we c you know, we'll when I met like met as in like on Twitter, Casey: Right. Blake: but like you were in such a different stage of your life. It was crazy. Casey: Like I have changed so much throughout my existence. I I actually was thinking that yesterday, like and getting kind of emotional about it. I was like, it it's nice to like feel like you're finally like who you're supposed to be, that like you evolved through like a bunch of different sets to like someone that you're actually like happy in your own skin and like you feel proud of like the way that you perform because we all perform in the Blake: The way that you've evolved and like Casey: world. Like I'm happy with the way that I express myself now where I feel like it's a lot truer to who I really am, which like I might have thought like way back, but I didn't really know. Like I was definitely I mean I probably still don't know. I'll think this in like ten years. I'll be like, she was being wild Blake: Yeah, I I mean you you definitely don't nobody like I mean, especially nobody in their twenties, like no like no one's like, I'm where I need to be. But you're like the journey's progressing Casey: Yeah. Blake: in a positive direction. And I feel like that's that's the thing where it's like it is nice to feel like the things that have happened that you didn't enjoy or that were like shitty, like you've turned them into lessons or like catalysts for you to like go in a better direction. Like they it's almost like they had to happen. Casey: Hundred percent. Right. Blake: And I feel like like honestly if you just obviously like you know immediately when something bad happens you kind of wanna like wallow and just feel shitty and whatever and that's fine. You should let your emotions out Casey: yeah, the victim tampon. Like put it up, put it up and soak it in and soak it on in. Like as I said one episode ago, like sometimes it feels good to to shove that victim tampon up. You have to take it out. Blake: It feels amazing, but then also once you take it out, because eventually eventually you'll get sepsis if you don't like take it out. Or what's it called? A shock. Casey: Yes. TSS toxic toxic shock syndrome. Which like is a Blake: Yes, yes. Casey: thing that I constantly am like I hope that doesn't occur because like it seems like it just kinda pops out of nowhere, like spawns for random people. Being a Blake: I mean Casey: woman is such a frickin' hazard. Like there are so many hazards. Like there are so many like what are the things called when you step and they blow Blake: Yeah, dude. The the tampons of it all, like and the period of it all? Casey: up? They step you step and Blake: Mines, a minefield. Casey: Yes. That's what being a woman is like. Blake: Yes. In so many ways. Casey: Like like it literally is like you take a step where you think it's gonna be all all set, all good. Whoa, my fucking god. Toxic shock Blake: Ha ha ha. Casey: syndrome. Just trying to absorb the blood that falls out of my uterine lining once a month. Like that feels extreme. Like Blake: No, honestly, like I will say that every time I have this is the thing, and like I'm a gay man, so I feel like there like I'm more interested in like asking questions about this, but like a straight man, like I guarantee like has never thought to ask these questions. But whenever I've like just curiously asked my like female friends like, hey, like what the fuck are periods like? And obviously they have different answers, but like the ones who've experienced it the worst, I'm like, you have to do that once a month. And you can't even Casey: No, like it's a nightmare. Blake: just like take off of work. Like you can't even just be like, y'all, I'm I'm I'm sick. I'm gonna take like a couple days. Like you can't you have to do things and it's like you're in the most pain ever. I'm Casey: Wait. Wait, OMG. Don't get pissed, but I'm getting on I'm getting on a segue because I I thought of something. I'm hopping on I'm Blake: Ha ha ha. Casey: hopping on my segue because I was literally thinking this watching Teresa ding ding Easter egg watching Teresa Judy's and her daughters. Blake: Easter egg e as as if the title of the episode and like the season and the franchise is not right. Casey: Like you didn't already click on it. It's not on our schedule. But I was thinking like watching Teresa with her girls. I was like, they are so freaking cute. And like they're so she's so cute interacting with them. But like, holy fuck, I hope that's never my life. Like holy fuck, like I love my solitude. Like I do not want to go shopping with like three screaming children, no matter how cute they are. Maybe like Blake: I mean Casey: once a year, but like every day. Blake: Is it Q? Like Casey: It's kinda cute. All right. Well let's let's ride this segue to the town and let's let's hop off. Blake: I feel let's ride this yeah, why don't you explain what we're what we're about to dive into. Casey: Yeah, so we're we're diving in to the Real Housewives of New Jersey season one. And to give y'all some background, not quite personal lore, but our housewives lore, I watched We have to be honest, you know Blake: Yeah, I feel like we have to be honest about this. Casey: we love accountability here at at the MIAA pod. And I have seen Up until Teresa jail time and then I stopped watching like I was a kid. Like I was watching in real time with my dad who was a fan. So like watching quote Blake: Ha ha ha. Casey: unquote. Like it's not like I like fully recall all of it. And then I probably like 202 or 2023 was like I need to like try again. And I rewatched season like one, two, and three. And then I stopped again. So I've only seen really through like season three and like sort of up to the jail time, but I was young, so I don't even count that. Is that like season five? Blake: What is the jail what's the jail season? the jail season has to be either five or six because I have only seen up till season four and New Jersey has just I mean I I wasn't watching ho like any Housewives when I was super young. I started watching all Housewives during COVID and I have tried I would say like maybe twice, maybe three times to like really get into New Jersey and I always start from the beginning. I'm always one up I the law the furthest I got was four and I just I was like really wanting to get to the jail season 'cause I was like, okay, like I feel like maybe things will pick up or whatever. But also like for me personally, because I grew up in New Jersey and my family is a Italian American, I think for me, like it's Casey: It's like too close to home. Blake: it feels a little bit like, that's my uncle. Like he talks like that, like he gets all like he gets all heated and like wants to fight people and it's and Casey: Yeah, I don't wouldn't want that. Blake: It's just kinda like, ugh, like and I've heard from you know, there've been people in my life, like in in, you know, f regarding other franchises where they're like, I can't do Orange County 'cause I grew up in California around a bunch of those kind of white women and like it's triggering like so I I feel like that's a thing where people are like, like this Casey: Yeah. Blake: isn't fun and like Gabby and like like I'm kikiing with the girls. It's like, my god, like that reminds me of like Sarah who I fucking hate. Like, you know what mean? So yeah Casey: Right. No, that makes sense. I think like when I Blake: I feel like that's why we've Casey: rewatched it, like when I or when I tried again, like twenty twenty three, I remember stopping because well, okay, I stopped and slash wasn't interested for two Fold reasons. One being on Bravo social media, like the New Jersey fans kind of have like a bad rep for being like a little Looney Tunes, all love to like a listener. If you're a fan, like I'm not meaning you. Like I you're not who I'm talking about. Like I likely, Blake: It's just general. Casey: but there are some that like are like literally Blake: Ha ha. Casey: like looking up these women to the point of like. They're they're a PI at this point, like the level of investigation they're doing into these women. Like you gotta like take some of these shows as shows, but at the end of the day, these are also just like regular mothers, like who just like were in the suburbs, like let's leave them be. I Blake: They're actual people. Casey: don't know. Like this is getting weird for me. So social media affected it. Yes, exactly. Blake: No, but the the the like tree heads the tree heads are like notorio like they're kinda like the Swifties of housewives, I feel. Casey: Yes. That's a good that's a good comparison. And on the flip side, like the The beef, like the Teresa Melissa stands, like will like go at each other. And like when I was on Twitter, like Blake: my god. Casey: during my heyday, like there was all this like doxing going on between the NJ stands. Like, remember Jennifer? Is it Aiden? Iden. I never even watched her. I just know who she is. Blake: Yeah. Casey: she got in trouble because like one of her like the crazy fans like was like going after her for like her DMs and stuff. Like, so like there was like all this weird press. So I that was throwing me off, and the Teresa and Melissa. Melissa, of it all when it starts happening on the show, it makes me a little sad. Like they are like all family. Like it's a little Blake: Yeah. Casey: too like. I just like it's the same way with the Richards sisters. Like, I start to feel a little like I I feel weird. I feel a little weird. I wish that you would resolve this for real because I'm feeling weird. Like I I'm feeling uncomfortable. Like your sisters, your family. This is weird. I don't want to see it. Blake: Yeah, I feel like it's that and then it's also that like it just is like a revolving door and it never ends. Casey: Yes. Blake: And I feel like 'cause I have watched one through four and then a couple of years ago, like my roommate was like My roommate's like very she's the kind of person that will like just jump into a Bravo franchise like season thirteen and doesn't feel the need to like watch from the beginning, which I'm Casey: That's crazy. Blake: very much not like that. It's very insane. But I'm not like that. But like we we're living together, we're eating dinner in the living room. And she was like, I'm gonna put on like the current season of New Jersey. I think it like twelve or thirteen or something. So I started watching like the last couple seasons because of that. So I've I've kind of sandwiched like the very first couple and then the last couple. But there's a huge middle that I don't know about. But I will Casey: Right. Blake: tell you, like the last couple seasons, I was just like, this is like season like twelve or thirteen, and we are still Melissa versus Teresa. I'm like I don't understand how this is sustainable when that's all that's really going on and it it like makes Casey: Agreed. Blake: it that's like it permeates every storyline, you know what I mean? Casey: Right. And I watched Ultimate Girls Trip the first season, which has Teresa and Melissa on it, and I was like, I like both of them on that on that girls trip. Like they both are likable to me in different ways. So like watching them on that without being a watcher of them for most of their like actual franchise, I was like, This makes me even sadder that they can't figure it out. That like I'm enjoying them and they seem to like sort of be okay enough in this time period to go on this show together and then it gets A little haywire, but we say this to tell you that there's a reason why we do not cater to New Jersey all that much. Like both we haven't done it on this podcast, and if you look at like my Instagram, Stasi's backhand, there's not a trace. Like there might like one or two Teresa pictures, but like there is not a trace. And it's not even shady. I just like don't know. Blake: And I had to No, I had to not even like out of any sort of like passion or like justice, but more of just like a just so that we're being like representative when you were making the intro collage. I like, we should add like a New Jersey clip or something. Which like the one you added, like were to re I know Beverly Hose, you also were Casey: I know. I didn't want them in Beverly Hills, so I was like, whatever. Blake: like absolutely not. but like All this to say as well, like, I have sp we like we've talked and like we are open to recapping the ones we've seen and then going on a journey of like first watch with you guys, which is crazy because this podcast is all about like revisiting, but like we will be visiting most of these seasons. We yeah, nothing fucking Casey: But like we can make the rules up, so whatever. Blake: matters. And honestly, like Because I feel like it would be interesting to like both of us at the same time experience the seasons and sort of like we might hate them, we might be like, I was wrong. But like I I think that would be interesting Casey: Yeah, I agree. Blake: for our viewers and for me. I think watching it for just me, I would that's why I haven't because I'm kind of like but if I get to like like talk and be like girl, what did you think about that? Like I'm I'm I'm there. I'm getting it. I'm getting it. Casey: I know. Well, we're mentioning it all again. Well, both of us have actually seen season one. So we are still mentioning it all again currently. But when we're not again, we're Blake: Yes, yes. Casey: it'll still be again for the listener who has seen it. So technically, we're still on Blake: That is true. Casey: message. Really, it's the listener who hasn't also seen it that technically then we found an area where we're not representative of what we've advertised. But that's okay. Blake: But you know what's weird though? Like I've managed to find a couple friends who feel the same way, but I think generally speaking, like everyone fucking loves New Jersey. So Casey: I know. Like I literally just like missed out, I suppose. So like let's let's dive on in. Let's give you our our season one Blake: Let's get into it. Casey: intro. And yeah, I watched season one not like super long ago. I have a excellent memory for television. So even though it like two years ago, I'm like, yeah, I remember my thoughts of the the season one watch I did. And I do plug I'll plug an app I use called Serialized and I record all of my TV episodes that I watch and I write reviews. So I actually looked at my reviews Blake: Okay. Casey: from what I watched like two years ago. So I even refresh what I said, which I love. I just love it. I love recording things. I know. I'm cute like that. But Blake: Damn. Casey: It's a great starting cast. We have Teresa, we have Dina, we have Caroline, we have Danielle Staub and Jacqueline. And Jacqueline, Blake: Jacqueline, yeah. Casey: Caroline, and Dina are all actually entwined in a family dynamic. So Dina and Caroline are sisters who married brothers. And then Jacqueline mar. married one of their their brother. Their brother outside of the husband Blake: Brothers. Yeah. Yeah, her husband Casey: or did she marry a manzo as well? Is Jacqueline a Manzo? Blake: She married a Manzo. No, Jacqueline's husband is a Manzo. So she's the sister in law. Yes. Casey: So y so they're all manzos by marriage, the girls. Right. Blake: Like well yeah Yeah. Something like that. I yeah, it's it's a lot. Casey: Yeah. Like whatever. They're all related. Teresa knows them well. Like they're Teresa's like basically like one of those like family friends that like her their kids probably call her like aunt, you know, like they're like they're close. Right. No, no. Tia. That's Spanish. not Tia. is it Zia? I had like Blake: They probably call her like Nona Or like Zia 'cause that's Yeah, Zia. It's actually Zia with a Z. Isn't that crazy? Casey: I feel like I might have known some Italian families that that pulled out of Zia, but it's hazy in my mind. So I can't I can't say for sure. Blake: Well, you know, as we go on this journey we'll be seeing that a lot. Casey: Wait, to comment quickly, one thing that I thought was funny is both Jacqueline's house and Caroline's and probably some of the other ones like in their kitchen, which all of them have very, to use a trending phrase, very Tuscan mom style homes. Like it's very like wooden Blake: Yeah. Or like underage drinking core. Casey: Yes, my god, yes. It is so that. It's like so that time period, but Caroline and Jacqueline I noticed for sure have in their kitchenslash like dining areas in like massive font on their walls, just big Italian words. It's like famiglia Blake: Ha ha ha. Casey: and like like something else like pizza. Like it's like Mozzarella. And it's like fucking like this huge font. Not like a frame, not like it's like imprinted Blake: Ha ha ha. Casey: on the wallpaper. And they both have it. Like you know they they Caroline was like, Call call this number. Like they'll get you right. Like they can print font Miglia in big ass font right here. Blake: She's like, Hi, this is Caroline Manzo. could you guys put proschut on my wall please? Could you maybe just like sketch it? Casey: This is Jaclyn. My sister-in-law Caroline Manzo has Famiclia over her dining room table, and I was hoping to have the exact same one. And like that kind of sets the vibe of like the the first season of New Jersey. It's like very Italian, Tuscan kitchen, underage drinking core, family slash like sort of mafia vibe. Like Caroline Manzo keeps saying weird shit about the family and like the iron hand. Yeah, like okay, like so like Blake: You don't mess with the family. Casey: That's all in the air, but we start with Teresa and we'll kind of like go through everyone's intro. But Teresa is immediately pretty fabulous. Like they show her shopping and like trying on bathing suits with like the other girls. It's actually a scene they do this in a lot of Housewives where like in the beginnings they like edit things and use it in a lot of different spots. For example, their taglines this season are just quotes that they said in actual scenes that they then just like cut to be a Blake: Ja Casey: tagline and I was gonna say Orange County, they don't they do that too? Yeah Blake: They did that for early housewives. Like, you know, like yeah, when Vicky was like, I don't wanna get old, like that that wasn't a tagline, like that was just her speaking and then they cut it. Casey: Well, that was only on like the special that they put that, but that was crazy. But they they do that with this shopping Blake: Ha ha ha. Casey: scene. Like you see it in episode one, like, beautiful intro. And then you watch the full scene later on in like episode five. And you're like, wait, didn't I already you know what? Whatever. But Blake: Ha ha ha. Casey: they kind of like show her trying on like nice bedazzled things to show that she is like this jersey mom shopping around. I mean her accent is crazy. Blake: Yeah. Casey: She's classic. Blake: They all have like sp well, like Teresa at least has a spray tan and like she's she's like very much acting like she's you know I mean she has her like little kids with her and she's trying on some like fucking like like swimsuit with a cape on it and it's like a very just like this like you know like It's always when you introduce yourself as a housewife, you're always playing it up a bit. Casey: It's like gaudy, yeah. Blake: That's what it's very yeah, it's like look at me like buying things. It's like, I'm sure. Like Casey: And she like gives us her like quick little like here's my man and here's my kids. Like here, you know, like the housewives intro classic. And like, you know, her husband, I wouldn't say, like, Joe isn't ugly, but he's definitely not like super fine. And Teresa has this whole like package of her being like, My husband is just like he is so gorgeous. Blake: Ha ha ha. Casey: Like, I just can't even take it. And they panda him, like sitting on his desk looking average as fuck. Like. Blake: He looks like a meatball. Like he's just like a short, stout, like he's very like muscular, sure, but he's like five one and like balding and he looks he looks like sweaty, you know what I mean? Casey: Like he looks fine, like yeah, like Blake: Like he's just like not necessarily but she's like she's like, I really wish all of you could pop a squat on his fat Italian stallion or whatever and it's like, my god, Teresa, like we just met you No that Casey: That sounds that accent was nothing like her. The you just did the opposite of what she sounds like. Blake: No, that was definitely not not at all what she sounds like. But the the the sentiment was Casey: Right. I'm like, my god, wow. We're going like the opposite of our usual accent work. Like we can't nail it, so we might as well just go the stark opposite Blake: Ha ha ha. Casey: of what they sound like. But, you know, she loves her man Blake: Ha ha ha. Casey: down, as I feel like Jersey women often do. Like that's like the like, you know, they are like ride or die for the family, for their mediocre man that like probably doesn't treat them well. Like we've seen this play out. Blake: They mediocre men that send them to prison. Casey: Like for real. I mean, even like Jersey Shore had its moment and like that was really no different, like in terms of like the men female dynamic, the male female dynamic, but then she moves on to her girls. And as you say not cute, but I think they're so cute. Like I like that she has the opposite problem of Ashley Darby, which we talked about, where like her girls look exactly like her and nothing like him. Thank god like Ashley is Blake: That's true. That's true. And they all they're all like very cute like children. Casey: They're so cute. They have gorgeous eyes. They like have very expressive faces, very young. Like they like, you know, it's one of those things where people look at your kid and it kinda feels weird when you're like, they're gonna be so pretty. It's like, okay, chill. Like she's two. Like, my, my literal god, like calm the fuck down. But that that's what you would say, like, when you saw Blake: Yeah. Casey: like this gaggle of of gorgeous Judas Judases, Judices. they look great. I mean, yeah. Blake: And they all do end up growing up and looking like exactly the same but just older, like Casey: Caroline and Dina like talk about it. They're like, Teresa and her kids are so funny. They all have these like gorgeous big eyes. They love to shop. Like they're so excited. And like it is, like Blake: Ha ha. Casey: they're kind of just like funny to watch go about their everyday tasks. and they're they're upgrading as a Blake: Ha ha ha. Casey: family. They're moving to a new home that is truly massive in the like extravagant, like middle upper class suburban family way of like you everyone had that one friend that had that weird fucking massive house for no reason. Like okay, like why are you guys doing this? Blake: Yeah. And it was like very much it's McMansiony, like it's not it's not like a you know like when you see a mansion and you're like that's that's a that's a fucking mansion and then you see a like a big house and you're like that's just a big house. You know what I mean? Like yeah Casey: Like a suburban mansion. Like it's like not like a mansion mansion. It's a suburban mansion where it's like Blake: It's like unnecessarily spacious, but like in a way that doesn't make sense or add anything to the space and it's just for Casey: Right. Blake: show, but like a lot of it can't be even used and like you're not really even using it. You just wanna be able to say like Should we go sit in like the parlor that like I never Casey: Yes. Well it's kind of like a contradiction in itself because if you like really were the type of person to fully like have a mansion and like fully be able to like own and operate that, you wouldn't be in in New Jersey. So like this isn't it doesn't actually make any sense. Like as a it's a there's Blake: Right. Casey: a term for it, but I I've had like three glasses of wine. So we're just gonna skate right along because I don't I don't wanna do my word game today. but they show her like shopping Blake: Ha ha ha. Casey: for the home with some of one of the other women and they're kind of like commenting on Teresa's budgeting and they're like, Yeah, she she'll spend whatever and she's checking out at this like furniture warehouse shop and her bill is literally a hundred twenty thousand dollars like on a casual filming day and she's like yes like thank you so Blake: What? Casey: much like this is gonna be amazing like and that's our intro to Teresa and so yeah like hell yeah Blake: Y yeah. you know, hindsight is twenty twenty, Casey: It really is. Blake: but like y looking back at this it's just a bunch of red flags of like maybe you're gonna go to jail at some point. Maybe. Casey: I know it kind of makes me think about the f the friend that I had that I knew with like the massive mansion, the suburban mansion. Like, ooh, were you guys doing fraud too? Like, did I it's low-key, very possible. Like, if I track the transitive Blake: It's possible. It's very possible. Casey: property, if I add that up and carry the one and divide by three, we get fraud. We get fraud here, we're going straight to jail. Blake: We're going to jail. Casey: And honestly, the DMV seems to be ripe with it. The East Coast, the tri-state area is ripe with fraud. Blake: The United States of America Casey: But I'm thinking Wendy, Karen, Teresa. That's my girls in the tri state. Blake: But Erica, Tom Girardi, Jen Shaw, Casey: Okay, whatever, Blake, whatever. Okay, let's move on to Jacqueline. Blake: It's just it's just everyone. It's just everyone. Yeah, we meet Jacqueline and so she's Dina and Caroline's sister in law. I for some reason, like maybe it's because she's from Vegas and I'm also from Vegas, but like I feel like a kindred like sisterhood with her. Like Casey: Awww, that's sweet. Blake: I have like a I have like a something about Jacqueline. I've always like really wanted to like her and feel like I have always liked her for the four seasons. Casey: You two would do so good in a makeover challenge on RuPaul's Drag Race together. You guys the family resemblance would be so puss. Like Michelle would be gagging Blake: I could see that I could see that. Casey: and the three of you would be gagging together. Like it would be really good. I could really see that. Blake: I could really see that. Her daughter Ashley is a nightmare. So she her daughter Ashley is like seventeen and she's from a previous marriage. Her current husband, who is the Manzo connection, the Manzo brother, they had a child who's like really ri Casey: Yeah. Blake: like two turning two or something. So she's kind of like in that weird position of like stepfather and like rebelling and like her her upbringing wasn't as like glitzy and glammy as like the two year old's is. but she is she's a problem, the child. Casey: She's T though. Her face card's T. Like, I mean, Jaclyn is too. Like, these women are all, again, Blake: Very true. Casey: on most housewife franchises, this is all. I guess I'll just say all. These women are gorgeous. Like, these are gorgeous women. Like, you, if you saw them in your hometown, you'd be like, that is a gorgeous lady. But because you want to be on the internet and be an asshole, you pretend otherwise. But like, these are obviously gorgeous women. Ashley, her daughter, Blake: Ha ha ha. Casey: is gorgeous. and they go through like their own journey. The women have a lot of opinions on each other's. Children, especially the Manzo sister wives. my god, they're like my Mormon wives friend group. Blake: That's true. Like Danielle is you, kind of. Casey: The way we didn't The way we didn't even know that when we brought that up that this would be such a good connection. Okay, like I might as well just quickly, quickly tell you guys. My Mormon wives friend group, there I was friends with these three girls who were dating no, four girls at first, but one of them broke up. They were dating two different sets of brothers. One set was twin brothers, the other one was brothers two years apart, and they were all dating and I joined the friend group, and so I was like the only one not dating a brother. So like I was like the the outcast. And like I'm literally Danielle Staub and these are they're all dating brothers and family. So they're Blake: You really are Casey: all like families so they have to have each other's back and you get stuck on the outside because so be it. Blake: Because you're you don't have a connection and then it's just very easy to like blame you for everything and it's like the out group versus the in group and I I'll just have to I well I'll have to Casey: Wow, that's crazy. The we've become such good podcasters that we bring up context that we don't even know is gonna be applicable until the moment hits because our brains are thinking that far ahead for our audience. Blake: Our brains are seven steps ahead and we are constantly using our own personal experiences to illuminate these shows for our audience. Casey: Absolutely. Blake: And I just want to let you guys know, we've been doing this shit for eight months. Imagine three years. We're gonna be fucking podcast geniuses. I feel like we'll be levitating as we podcast at that point. Casey: my god. We're gonna own the podcast medium. Like we're literally gonna be the big podcast at that point. Like we're gonna own all the pods. We're gonna be the first big, the first big that is ethical. Blake: We're g yeah, literally big podcasts and it's run by Casey and Blake. Guys, I would be scared if I were you. Casey: You heard this. my god, I just hit my microphone. You heard it here first. Watch this face. you just wait. Blake: Right, when we get when we get a fact checker and slash a producer, we're gonna pay them we're gonna pay them such good wages. Casey: One million an hour. We're gonna literally pay them more than anyone's ever been paid. Blake: No, we can't afford one million an hour because we have like three hour long episodes, so you know we we'll Casey: So true. Okay. We'll we'll talk. We'll talk. We'll talk in negotiations, but Blake: we'll Okay, moving on to Dina. Casey: Dina, segueing to Dina. Speaking of money, Dina says that everyone thinks that she's a gold digger because of the way that she lives her lifestyle, which is like in her opening scene, she's like, basically, yeah, my husband makes a lot of money and he's never home. And I'm a single mom, honestly, because in three years married, I've probably seen my husband a total of two weeks. Like, whoa, dream life, dream life alert. Woo, swipe credit card, where Blake: Ha ha ha. Casey: do I get this? Whoo JK, because she's like in prison. She's not Blake: I mean Casey: like single, like single mom, like in a fun way. Yeah. She like thinks Blake: Like wild, yeah. Casey: that like this is her bound duty to like run the home because like it's like not in a cunty way. Blake: I was gonna say if she was if they were in an open relationship where like she could fuck around and you know, spend money and I'll see you like next year or whatever, that'd be everything. But she's unfortunately not in that situation. Casey: Right. No. Her and Caroline both have this kind of like undercurring of like the wife should respect the husband and cherish the family and it's like, my fucking god, like we're over it. And in fact Caroline when she opens her scene, she is like, I'm the last of a dying generation of women who actually put their career second behind their husband and their family. And it's like, you're I wish you were the fucking last lady. Like you are not even close to being the last. Like humble yourself 'cause you're gonna keep producing little leeches that are just like you for years and years. Like that would have been awesome if you were the last of that. Blake: Also, can I just say I'd be remiss if I didn't say this. If that were true, then you wouldn't have gone on Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip season four and put your career first and then ruined that season for everyone such that such that we c will never be able to see it, and such that Brandy will never return to Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. So why don't you sh Casey: Well and let's double let's double that Uno style. Let's stack plus four and if family is the most important thing. What about your Blake: Period. Casey: actual blood family? Your sister Dina, who you stab in the back for you're married into family, your a man, a man that's just your fucking husband over your blood sister. Disgusting. Disgusting. Blake: Dude, I think we n for part two we'll get into like the the lore of like the Dina Caroline beef because I feel like for the these five season or episodes it's not like Casey: Yeah. Blake: seasons for these five episodes it's not really relevant, but I think like a as we like get to the reunion I think it'll be relevant. But there is that shit's crazy. Casey: Yeah. But just know, she's fake as fuck. Like this is not real. Blake: Caroline is a she is a snake You know, Caroline is the exact kind of person, exact kind of woman who doesn't want women to succeed, who thinks men are superior to women, who thinks that if she like snitches and sides with men, then Casey: Defoe. Blake: she's like one of the guys, even though she's like a woman and will never be a guy, but she like thinks that she'll be like better than other women if she ha if she's like one of the guys, you know what I mean? Casey: She's just mad that out of the sisters that Dina's way more tea than her. Because even while Dina's like imprisoned, she's still like serving. Like she looks good. She's serving like Tuscom Cunt, like in that classic way. And even Dina's daughter, like has to recognize that. Like she has a line and she's like, Yeah, if I had a fat old mom, like I would be really mad and I'd hate that. Like I would really hate that. It's like Like yeah, like honestly, like wake that up. Wake that up, Dina Daughter. Like that's that's God. Blake: I mean that's fair The way that that's the way that's Caroline Manzo shade, like that's I Casey: Well and Dina daughter is the one who owns the shoe brand that got in the beef with Bethany that Luann collabed with, but more on that later. Blake: I was gonna say Casey: Flag this, flag this as an Easter another Easter egg. Blake: More on that later. But Caroline and Easter a very vague semblance of an idea of something that might be happening at some point. Casey: Flag dot this down in your notebook as an Easter egg if if you're following along closely. Blake: So Caroline, her family owns like this restaurant event venue. I think it's called Casey: It is, yeah. Blake: the Brownstone. and Albi wants to open up Albi's her son. She has Albi and then Casey: You're like Albie, like before even introing Blake: The other one who's not as cute, I forgot his name. Casey: him. Like who the fuck is Albie? Blake: I know, be I because I will say Albi like in the earlier seasons is like kinda hot. He's kinda sexy. Casey: Yeah, he's cute. Except for the fact that like their family's weird as fuck. Like, my god, I would rather stab myself in both eyeballs than Blake: They're all strange. Casey: have Caroline Manzo as a mother in law slash like mother of my boyfriend. Like she's probably a nightmare. Blake: I wouldn't want to like Casey: Like Blake: She's an insane woman. I feel like she crashes every date. Every date has to be like at the house. It she's Casey: She's gonna do a full background check on you. Like she's gonna print out your thirst traps and be like, she's not classy, Albie. Like this is not the woman for you. Like this is Alfie. Alfie deliver. Blake: Albie And Albie wants he wants to open a strip club car wash. And I honestly like this is part of what's so triggering about this show to me is like it's like the the like forced closeness, like we are a family unit and we always have sauce Casey: Yeah. Blake: together on Sundays and we sit down and then everyone talks about their lives and their aspiration. And it's like that's like That if you guys did that in like a real way where it was like sometimes we sit down and we get like we have these close conversations, Casey: It's true. Blake: but sometimes we're busy. But the way that it's constantly like we're always in the kitchen, Caroline's always like kneading dough with her bare knuckles, and then one of her children is always like, Hey Ma, I was thinking I wanna open this a business and then they're like, my god, no, I don't do that. Like it's just it's so it's so family guy i Casey: Famiglia on the wall behind them, like Blake: No, exa it's so famiglia on the wall. Like that is ex it's so olive garden to me. Like they it like Casey: Yeah. Well it's funny that you say that because I'm not even a Jerz a New Jersey in myself. I don't even have this background. But there's a there's a moment where Caroline is cooking like An insane amount of food, and like there's a voiceover of her being like, I just have this type of house where anyone is welcoming and you never know who's stopping by for dinner. And like, okay, like pause. Like, fine, fair enough. Like, some people do actually have that type of household. Like, my dad currently actually has that type of household where, like, genuinely, I do not know who is gonna show up to his home. So, like, Blake: I was gonna say your dad is like that. And he's not even Italian. Casey: he actually does cook, and like, I'm Why are you making that? And then I'm proven the fool because some random person walks. In two hours later, and I'm like, but in Caroline's situation, she is making enough food to like it looks like she's at a food pantry. Like she is making so much food. Like, who are you expecting? 50 people? Like, yeah, okay, maybe you could have one to two, four Blake: That's what I'm saying. It's performative. Casey: people stop it. She literally is cooking this, like, it's like this huge tinfoil thing, and she's like, and I was like, okay, sis. Like, I don't believe that this many people are showing up to your house. And honestly, if not This is food waste, so honestly you're fucked Blake: They're not. Casey: up. Blake: No, that's what it it's so goddamn annoying. It's like, my god, we get it, you're fucking Italian. Like, Casey: I know. Blake: chill. You can make a regular amount of food. By the way, like your daughter won't even be eating it because you keep fat shaming her and mate like I don't know if they're doing that in this season, but there is definitely a season where she's like telling her to work out more. Casey: Probably. Well and mind you, the daughter, like she Graduated high school and has just been sitting at home doing nothing since then. Like she like, I mean, not that you like need to go to college, but they basically are like, yeah, sh she's just kind of waiting around to become a wife and mother. And in the meantime, we think we should probably like send her to do something. So I guess cosmetology school, like while she waits, like she's already been home doing nothing for years. And now they're like, Okay, I guess since you're not wiped up yet, Blake: Well, 'cause she's Right. Casey: let's get something on the cow. Blake: But also because she's allegedly like a makeup artist and so they're like, you know, if you're gonna be a makeup artist, like you sh you need to go to school for it and she's sort of just like I do makeup, I don't know if I wanna like go to school for make like I'm just I just do it and she's just kind of like there I don't know, like they have a we like Yeah their family's annoying. Casey: She gets like strong armed into going. It's it's like strange. The Caroline's thing is very odd. So let's move on to the star of the f fucking show. Blake: It's Let's move on to the motherfucking queen. Dan freakin' yell. Casey: Dan freakin yell the bitch. And like she literally opens up so strong and like her like first couple of lines are like I don't think that I'm the most beautiful, gorgeous, sexy woman alive, but like if people perceive me that way, then like I guess so. Like I used to model, like I've had a long, crazy life. Like I'm like, what can I say? Like I'm just I'm just an absolute legend. And she says I was engaged 19 times and then I on the 20th I had the magic number. And we got married and then divorced and I have my kids. And she has this like cadence. It's like a poem. Like we're just like flowing through her life's journey. I'm like, okay, and now we have the children. We were engaged. Beautiful. Blake: And her her tagline is like you're either this again, it's one of those like cut out, like, you know, from a normal conversation taglines, but it's you're either gonna love me or hate me. There's no in between with me. And to be honest, true. It's true. I think it's true. She's Casey: I actually usually say the same thing about myself. Maybe I really am her. Like we really have a parallel, parallel lives. Well actually, random Blake: Ha ha. Casey: sidebar. When I first met Luann for the first time, I sent my dad a pic of me and her because he's a Housewives fan. And he goes, Is that that slut Danielle? my God. Whoa. First of all, watch her language. And second of all, that's Luann. Blake: Whoa way And like honestly, Lou like if we're talking about like literally like being a slut, like Luann has slept around way more than Danielle has, at least from what we know. Casey: Yeah, it's maybe close, but I don't subscribe to that as a negative term. Like it's more of like a f like shame on my on my dad Blake: No, it's not negative at all. Casey: for that one. But it was kind of funny. I was like, No, this is not me and Danielle Stopp. She Blake: Right. Casey: grew like ten inches maybe. Isn't Danielle Stop like five two? Like holy hell. But she's iconic and she like is like, you know, Blake: Probably. Probably. Casey: kind of like doing her iconic opener to like show that she's awesome. And she's like, I'm the only person in the state of New Jersey to even have a black American Express card at like at the time she got it. Like she was the first and was the only. And then she says, I had it before Madonna had it. It's like whoa. Whoa, that means so much to me. Blake: Yeah, I don't know if Madonna I don't know if Madonna's like been to New Jersey, so like that might be why Casey: Like I don't know if Madonna's like opening regular cards. Like I think she probably has like a more advanced system of banking. Like I don't think she like is just like using a debit. I don't know. I don't know what famous people do Blake: There probably is a guy for that or something. Casey: with their money. I'm broke. So I can't imagine. Blake: Also, I love the idea that Danielle Staub knows when Madonna got a credit card, Casey: Her Amex her Amex dealings, like Blake: like as if Like as if like you can l Google it like when did and there's like a a database of like Madonna got her black MX in like nineteen ninety one. Like, that's not I don't know though. Casey: The way that Bravo fans act, th they could probably pull that out on like a random housewife. I'm sure there's been a Madonna fan who's pulled that out on on her ass. But we pretty quickly get introduced to like the idea of Danielle being very like open sexually. Like Jacqueline is identified as her like friend, kind of her like entryway into the group and usually her ally in a lot of scenes and she says when they first met at like the hair salon Danielle after a few hours of gabbing was showing her naked photos of herself on her phone so like we're we're like we're instantly getting this vibe and Danielle like hard launches us into it as well and is like yep so I've been having phone sex with this with this man and and we're planning on meeting up. He goes by Gucci model Blake: Ha ha ha ha. Casey: and I'm so excited like we're we're in love. Like I can't wait to go and she has a date and she's gonna go and Teresa like has just met her but Jacqueline is the bridge between them so they're like wait we can't let her go on this alone like what if she gets killed by Gucci model? Like let's go pull up to the restaurant and wait it out. Blake: They literally do that thing that I mean, I don't know if you've ever felt the need to do this, but I certainly think about it a lot where it's like whenever my friend's like, I'm going on a date with this guy, whatever, I really, really, really, really, really want to be like I want to put on like a like a bush disguise and then like hop into like foliage and then like just spy on their date. Like, they literally do that. And she doesn't notice. They're just at like a fucking restaurant bar. Like it's nothing crazy. And they're just sitting there like with their menus, like covering their faces. They're like Casey: They literally bring bring binoculars and they're like just fully, fully watching Danielle sit and wait for this man. Like she waits for like two hours and he doesn't come. And she's talking to like random patrons at the bar, like, I got stood up, and just like being a key. And the women are like, What platform were you meeting him on? Like, that's so Crazy that he stood you up. Where did you find this person? And she looks these strangers dead in the eyes and it's like wealthymen.com. Obviously. And you can tell that the random stranger is kind of like, well, yeah, girl, like obviously you got scammed on wealthymen.com. Like, what? Like. Blake: And Teresa, as she's realizing that like Danielle's getting stood up, is like giggling in like the bushes that they're like watching her through. Like she's like cracking up to herself, which like honestly, fair enough, like I would too. I mean that's really like it's funny, I wouldn't laugh like in front of the person, but I would laugh at the situation. Absolutely. And then she does the cuntiest fucking thing. She calls him at the bar. The man who set her up, Mr. Gucci, and she's like you if you walked into the restaurant, you probably wouldn't even have been able to handle me. And she's like, Have a good night. Or die. I don't really care. Like she basically is just like, kill yourself, Casey: Literally not my business. Have a good night or die. Blake: you fat fuck. And honestly No, exactly. And then Teresa and Jacqueline kind of just like jump out of the bushes and and like go and grab her from the back and are like, Hey And she's like weirdly like, my god, guys, like, hey, like what's up? Casey: I know. I think it was probably just like nice for her not to feel like totally alone. Like so she wasn't even like mad about like the invasion. That's what I Blake: Alone, yeah. Casey: mean. Like she's just a girl. She just wants her girly friends. She's literally like just trying to be fun. And honestly, like Blake: She's a key! She's a key. Casey: even when I think they're all annoying, I do kind of think that they're all a T in their own way. Like that's why we have variety packs. Like we have chamomile, we have green, we have mint. We have Chai. That's how I feel about this cast. Like they all do bring they all Blake: Ha ha. Casey: do bring something to the table. Like Caroline would be something like fucking busted, like English breakfast or like Decaf. I don't know. But like they all they all are like good additions. And this I think is a a pretty solid season one cast. Like we don't often have a lot of like really solid groups. There's always like a few that I think kinda suck. Like O C like they have so many chops in their season one group. Like this group is all pulling their weight for like a pretty low key season. But Blake: so many kiosk. Casey: yeah, the Teresa family kind of has like this side plot going on of like Gia trying to break into the entertainment industry. Gia first goes for acting and like they're like she has an audition for a movie Blake: Girl, I like I really Casey: with the rock, the tooth fairy movie, which she does not get, you know, onward and off-word Gia, but she tried. And like then they try modeling and like the modeling agent is a little bit like, we don't like these Blake: Ha ha Casey: picks. And Teresa's like, Nope, more picks. Like we will get Gia. Blake: Yeah, they're like she looks really dark and her eyes are so blue and Teresa's like okay, well you know, if I need to like get plastic surgery on my three year old, like I'll do it. Like whatever you need Casey: Like they're determined. They that she's a star. And honestly, she is a star. Like Blake: me to do. Casey: to have your first reality TV confessional at age seven and to absolutely deliver the line, like, that's pretty kind. Like, I gotta I gotta hand it to the Gister. And she has a beautiful home being built that like what would you describe it as? Blake: Okay. Her ho okay, y'all have been to the Cheesecake Bactery, right? Because the way that she's describing it, she's like, I'm I'm it's gonna be some like sort of French chateau, like wrought Casey: She says French chateau like a million times. Like Blake: iron She's she's describing it in a way that sa like, yes, the way that she says it sounds great. But like in execution, she has no idea what she's talking about because what it actually looks like is the Cheesecake Factory. It is like a bunch of like generally individually like maybe fine looking things, but then all together looks like a fucking acid trip, and then like there's like really gaudy, like fixtures and chandeliers and like wrought iron railings and stuff and also like they have this one room that they furnish with like a couch or like two couches. Casey: It's huge. Blake: It's the biggest emptiest room I've ever seen and they have two couches there and nothing el I'm is that supposed to like are you want watching TV in there? Like what goes on in that room? Cause it's just a giant empty room with two couches. Casey: And then literally on camera, like in the massive room with the couches, Blake: It's crazy. And Casey: Teresa like brings Joe in and it's like, Look, honey, like look how amazing our couches are. Like I've been working so hard on our furniture. Like it's all coming together. Like, baby, what do you think, baby girl? Like what do you what do you think my love? And he's like, Am I supposed to have an opinion on a couch? Like You can't just say it looks nice, you fucking chungus. Blake: He's like, if you like it, it's good. It's a couch. Why would I care? I'm like, you're so you're gay because you have an opinion about a couch. Like if you have a if you say it looks good, babe, then you're gay. Is that the whole thing? Like Casey: My god, talk about gay. We'll we'll talk about his love for for gay. but yeah, it's it's beautiful. And as this kind of goes on, we have like a few events where we start to get the group interacting a little bit, not a ton, which I feel like is a classic season one move where like it's a lot of individual or like just a two-sum scene. We don't get like a f ton of group full scenes, but we have a couple people at Jaclyn's son's birthday party, where Danielle is interacting with Dina, and that's not going super well. Like the Manzos besides Jacqueline are not already like super warm to her. You can tell they like are those types of people that like don't warm to outsiders all that much unless it's like someone that knows someone that they know like 'cause like it's the familia, like they like don't know this lady. But Danielle's like in a confessional after talking with Dina, it she's like, I think like I honestly have this feeling that down the line her and I are gonna be really, really tight. And then they play Dina's confessional. That's like we will never ever be friends. So Blake: No Dina is like Dina is like under the impression that Danielle wants to like skin her and wear her skin as like an outfit. Like Casey: She said that's a like a quoted a quoted clip from that from that scene. Like she wants to skin me and wear me like like Versace or something. Blake: Yeah, it's she's like giving it's very what what's the what's the movie? Silence of the lands. She's like, I think she's gonna throw me into the well and like she's gonna like try and skin me and w it's she's just she's being a bit dramatic. I feel like Danielle like really hasn't done anything at this point for them to be so Casey: Right. Blake: hesitant to like just let her be a friend. But anyway, Danielle is currently dating a man named Steve. Who is twenty-six years old, which is which is two decades younger than her, but he looks like he could be the same age as her. Casey: He's literally like balding in the way of like an older man where it's like just the bald spot in the back of the head, like front frontal, you might you might think like, hair, but then they turn and you're like, Blake: Yeah Casey: not a not a lot going on. Like it's a really unfortunate look for Steve. He definitely does not look twenty-six, like it's a hard twenty-six. Hard. And this like gets launched after she like continuously kind of says that she Blake: It's a hard twenty six. And he's Casey: likes to date men who have a lot of money. So it's like I can't imagine this balding twenty-six year old is Roland and Doe. Like I'm twenty-seven and like I'm certainly not Roland and Doe. I don't know all that many people that are at my youthful age, like Blake: Ha ha ha. Casey: and especially when they're balding. Like you're not a TikTok influencer, so you're probably not rich at this age. I don't know. Blake: Right. What are you what do you like what are you doing at that age that could have more money than a woman at forty five? You know what I mean? Casey: Right. So it's like it doesn't really align with what she's saying. And like Teresa kind of says as much in her confessional in Teresa. It's funny 'cause like every confessional she has talking about Danielle, she will always end it with but but to each their own. I mean I don't I don't know. I I can't really say that much. I that's what makes the world go round, is that different people like different things. So I d I don't know. Blake: Yeah, I mean to each their own with you and your fucking stubby little husband Casey: Like literally though, but like sh you know, teaches her own and like Amen. But She's going on this date with Steve and like in like as she's getting ready, she's like, I'm looking Blake: Yeah, I mean, okay. All right. Like fine. Fine. Casey: for someone to take care of me and take care of my children. Like, okay, girl, like clearly not. But they're out to dinner and you know, she's like, Steve makes me feel the way a man should make a ev a woman feel, like that's all that matters to me. And then she's like looking at him from across the table and she's like, Should we sneak off to the bathroom? Like real quick. And if you listen to our last episode, that is extremely topical. Like it is Jackson Laura Lee's predecessors, like at Takami. If they're at Takami right now. But it's like it's not giving, it's not giving at all. So like the women judging Blake: god god Casey: this, you know, like fair enough. We probably all would be judging if we were in the same scenario. Because it's like you might as well be dating a hot 26 year old. Like this guy's busted and he doesn't even like her. Like that comes out like throughout Blake: Right. Casey: that like Danielle consistently says, you know, he doesn't need to tell me that he likes me. He says he doesn't need to tell me that I'm pretty like pff I I just know it. Blake: Yeah. She's like I r I would I you know women want to hear that and he's like I hate women. Casey: Which like is such a classic Which is so fucking classic of like a of men and like women where like a man Blake: Yeah. Casey: will show you ten times over that he fucking hates your ass and women are still like okay like Whatever. I've done it. Danielle's done it. Like it's fucking humiliating to think back on, but like that's what's happening to her here. Like he literally is like, whatever. Blake: Right Aww, you're Casey: And Teresa, like, there's a lot of confessional work at play. Like Blake: Ha ha ha. Casey: everything I'm about to like say is in a confessional. But Teresa says that Steve, because Danielle met Steve through Joe and Teresa, which, like, why do you guys have 26-year-old friends? Like, that's weird to begin with. But she says that when Steve talks about it to the two of them, he just describes. Danielle, like, and hanging out with Danielle as like his routine blowjob. So, like, this is not this is not a love story, which you could have figured out when we said Danielle is going on a date with Steve, the balding 26-year-old. But now you know for sure, but yet it still drags on for a little bit. Because they go official. Blake: Yeah, they're official. And Danielle's children do not like him. Which is fair because you can tell that like she cares way more about him than he cares about her. Casey: Mm. Blake: So her children know him. They've met him, which is kind of strange too, because like her kids like ten years younger than him. Casey: Well, and her older daughter has a confessional I think older, like I'm not saying she's old. She's like I think fourteen, like Max, and she has a confessional exactly, and she goes, yeah, I don't really Blake: But still like ten years younger. Casey: like Steve. He's nice to my mom sometimes, and then he'll treat her really bad. I think he's really weird. And it's like, wait, gag it, Christine. Like, Christine just gagged the live so bad, like she Blake: Ha ha ha. Casey: it was absolutely clocked in, like she knew what was going on, and she was not happy. She was not enjoying bald Steve, like, Blake: Ha ha ha. Casey: and honestly. Like my thing is like when you're balding like that, just commit and like go full bald. Like don't you can't have a circle, like a crop landing, like of an alien Blake: Yeah, don't leave a patch. Casey: thing. Really c wasn't the metaphor for me. Danielle tries to make some more headway with the women because the only real friend she has is Jacqueline. And she counts Teresa, but Teresa wouldn't count herself as one of her friends. So she's gotta do some work on on the Manso sisters. So she has a spa event where she invites invites the women over and she has her plastic surgeon or like injectors that she's worked with there to do Botox at the home, which was like one of those things that like suburban moms did for a while. Like remember when like suburban moms would have those like random like fashion line things that they'd get involved in. It was like during like the MLM time and like hosting parties at your house, like to like sell things to your other like suburban women friends. Like Botoxers would like literally be like Blake: Yeah Casey: We can do an at-home party for your girlies. Like, cause it's like probably like super overpriced and then like they they get you hooked and like that's how they get new Blake: Yeah. Casey: clientele. But anyways, it's meant to be cute. And the women are excited besides the Manzo sisters or whatever their maiden name was, the two of them. Jacqueline is is excited about it because Caroline like immediately goes into her like classic, like Blake: Yeah. Casey: I'm different from other women. Like I I don't fit in with these ladies. Like my boobs are actually real. Lit literally. These are authentic knockers. Blake: I don't get Botox. My huge knockers are real. I I don't have hair extensions. I have a fucking pixie cut that's spiked up and red. Casey: in the Manzo family we're not made of plastic. Like this is famiglia. This is raw famiglia. Like we are real. We are absolutely real. So Blake: Ha ha. Casey: she's like being a hater. Blake: I like to get a little butch with it, unlike these fucking feminine women. Casey: Boom. And like it's annoying as hell. I o I always hate this. Like this is never a cute look for Blake: Ha ha ha. Casey: anybody to pull like the the yucking other people's yum like the I'm so different than you because I don't like this. Like, okay. Blake: Again, she wants to be like one of the guys. She's like, I'm not like these girls. Like I'm a g I'm more a guy. Like God, nightmare blunt rotation. my god. Casey: my god, call Sheena, Caroline. Like, you guys can talk. like literally. And Dina tries to pull the same crap but in a different font by like being like, I personally could never get Botox because my husband would kill me if I touched my beautiful, gorgeous face. Like, my husband really loves me that much that he would never want me to change. But you guys, go right ahead. Your husbands must fucking hate you. Like but so go right ahead. Blake: Go go for it though, it seems really fun. I just it like I would never do it. Your husbands must think you're hideous and you need work, and my my my husband doesn't think that and he would actually kill me if I tried to change my face, but like honestly, you guys go for it, enjoy it. It seems like it's gonna be Casey: Like okay, like s Blake: a really fun time. I'm definitely not gonna judge you. Both of them, honestly, both of those sisters, how were you raised? How were you raised? Casey: Watching women like they have needles actively going into their face and she's like, I don't personally need it. Like what are you saying? Blake: She's like, Botox makes people look so hideous while they're like getting but also Danielle is quick to clock that like Dina has told several people around town that like she's gotten Botox before, so this is clearly like some sort of in front of the camera like lie. Casey: Right. And they like quickly start to get into it because of this like opposing attitude that they're taking at her party. And like again, Danielle has needle in face while Dina is like kind of being a dick about it. So like they start arguing and you know, she is like being cheeky and like saying about how much bow tax she gets that like she like while she's going through it and they start arguing and that's enough for them to like kind of be at it again. But they were never good. They're never gonna be Good. Blake: Well, Danielle was getting like Botox in her gums, which I think is f what people do when they think they have like you know, like horse girl Casey: sure. Blake: like gums or whatever, like the fiance gums. so like I've I've heard that people will get like Botox there to like n have not have like so much gum showing when they smile. and I think maybe that's what she was doing. And so then s Jacqueline asks the doctor, like, what's your name? And he he says, like, my name's Dr. Greek long last name. And Danielle's like, I can't pronounce that. It's like cockalaka bakabah or whatever, and and she's like, I can only say cock. And then Dina goes, Yeah, we know that and kind of makes this like jab at her. And so like she's offended, like she doesn't kick them out or anything, but at the end of the event She says in her confessional, like, I expect an apology, like that was so disrespectful. I try to invite you guys and like to have a good time and to try to be friends with you, and then this is how you like talk to me. So they're like actively beefing now. Casey: Yeah, and that's like not good. So Danielle's only real filming partners and friends are Teresa and Jacqueline. And they have a couple scenes together, you know, they go on like a triple date with their husbands and frickin' Steve, where Danielle like is kind of like going through this back and forth of like, Should I break up with them? And they're like, No, like please don't break up with him while we're all at dinner and Danielle's like, Okay, fine, you guys, like I won't like I'll stay with him for now. But we go through this like up and down where you never we don't know if they're gonna break up. And Teresa and Jaclyn are hanging out, just the two of them, and they're like excited to be hanging out as hell. Just them two, like they're happy, they're joyful, their kids are hanging. And Danielle calls Jaclyn and it's like, I need to come over right now. Like I'm in crisis. Me and Steve are having such a bad time. Like I gotta come over. And Jacqueline and Teresa are both mad as hell. And Danielle literally Storms in with both of her children into like whole Saab family pulling up uninvited. Like, I I get it, like, that's a lot. Blake: Crashes their entire like girl Kiki moment with like her emotional trauma and then her like children who are also emotionally traumatic terrorists. If you don't you know, like if if if some random parent pulls up on me with their kids, like I'm emotionally traumatized. Like that's like emotional labor that now I have to perform watching your children, on top of the fact that now you are also Casey: Right. Like we've already been doing this dance. Like we're not like super feeling gratuitous to talk to you about this 'cause like we knew. Blake: Like crying about this man, which by the way, everyone else knew like this was not gonna go anywhere. Right. And she She has the audacity to like get mad at them for like giving their honest opinion. Like Teresa says something about like she's saying, I th I think I want to break up with him, and Teresa's like, you know, why did you like introduce him to your kids? Like you haven't known him that long and Casey: It's not even that divisive. Like she says something more along the lines of like, like I mean your kids like saw him sleeping over, like why like Or it's like something even less like it's even less inflammatory. Like it was more I mean, like it's a little bit implied that it's like I think that's irresponsible, but it was more like, and your kids Blake: Yeah, she wasn't like coming for her. She was just like Casey: like saw that that he was sleeping over. Like so like you know that she's being a little shady, but it's still technically just a question. Blake: Hey guys, Blake here. As I was in the process of editing this episode for y'all, I realized, I stumbled upon the realization that Casey's full track did not upload or got lost somehow, so her audio cut off right at this point. So the rest of the episode was just me nodding to myself and speaking to myself in such a manner that would likely get me committed. So we're not going to include that. I think it would be rather boring and confusing. So when we do our part two, we'll pick up right from this spot. This episode was supposed to be longer, as y'all know, Casey and I are certified yappers. But I do apologize. The tech gods, did not want your ears to receive this full episode today. But you will receive the rest of it in due time. So thank you for listening and stay tuned.
