- 0:13Hi, guys, Welcome back to another episode of the Hawkgirl Energy Podcast.
- 0:18I'm your host, Kaylee, and this is your weekly reminder that it's a
- 0:21new day, a new week, a new mindset, and another day for
- 0:24you to become the Hawkgirl Energy you want to attract. Happy Tuesday, guys,
- 0:29and welcome back to another episode. I want to start the episode off
- 0:35with a little recap because if you guys follow me on Instagram, you guys
- 0:39know that we celebrated my best friend's wedding this weekend, me and Zach and
- 0:46all of our friends obviously, and it was such a fun weekend and obviously
- 0:52I've mentioned it here on the podcast. She did a majority of the planning,
- 0:55Like she's a type a kind of person, and she did such an
- 0:59incredible job. And it was such a beautiful wedding. Oh my god,
- 1:06guys, Like thinking about it just puts the biggest smile on my face,
- 1:08Like there is no better feeling than seeing your best friend Mary, the love
- 1:14of her life. Like it was so indescribable, Like I can't even express
- 1:18the amount of joy and happiness like I felt that day seeing her Mary,
- 1:23her best friend, and Guys, I was crying so much. I could
- 1:27not keep it together. Man Like I tried, but I couldn't. Like,
- 1:33oh, like, she's been a part of my life since like we
- 1:34were six years old, so and she's been like my ride or die.
- 1:38Like I'm telling you guys, like this girl is my sister. We FaceTime
- 1:42all the time. I see her almost every weekend, Like, yeah,
- 1:45my rid died, and so having a best friend like that, it's very
- 1:49rare, I find and I'm very grateful that I got to be a part
- 1:53of her special day and watch her mary her best friend. So all in
- 1:59all, it was such a great weekend. I did a little vlog on
- 2:01TikTok if you guys didn't see of the Friday of just like getting ready for
- 2:08the weekend and the rehearsal and everything. Their wedding was at their cottage,
- 2:13so it was a nice little personal touch and their dog was involved and obviously
- 2:16family and all that, and all in all, it was just so touching
- 2:22to see everyone together and again just seeing them get married. And yeah,
- 2:28I had to write a speech as I was the maid of honor for her
- 2:32wedding, and I was kind of last minute with it, like I wrote
- 2:37it a week before, but I never really practice it until like the Friday,
- 2:42Thursday and Friday before the wedding on Saturday, and it went really well.
- 2:47I'm like pretty good at public speaking, but I still sometimes get nervous
- 2:51in the beginning. Obviously, when you're in front of a lot of people,
- 2:53like sometimes you can get nervous, right, So I was a little
- 2:58shaky in the beginning, like speaking, I was a little nervous, but
- 3:00then like by the like after like the first minute, I was good and
- 3:06I bawled my eyes out the last part of this speech, and edburybody started
- 3:10crying because I started crying. And when I tell you guys, when I
- 3:14cry, like I have to like give myself a minute to start talking again
- 3:20because I can't speak when I cry, Like it would be like a mess
- 3:23if I tried to speak crying. And my best friend she does not shed
- 3:28a tear, like she is not like she's an emotional person, but she
- 3:30doesn't get emotional about like happy things. It's only like, you know,
- 3:36if someone passes away or something like that, you know what I mean,
- 3:38like wedding stuff. She doesn't really cry. And she told me after I
- 3:43did my speech, and I came up to her to hug her and her
- 3:46husband. She literally said, you actually made me shed a tear. You
- 3:50were the only person that made me cry this entire wedding. Anyways, it
- 3:53was so so special, and her mom was like bawling and she's like,
- 3:58oh my god, Gailey, Like, did you really have to everybody cry
- 4:00in the room? Anyways, So I'm really happy that the speech went well
- 4:03because I was a little nervous about that. But all in all, it
- 4:06was such a great weekend. And if you guys want to get a recap
- 4:11of everything that happened in video footage, you can go on my TikTok.
- 4:15I also posted a photo with her on Instagram, so yeah, it just
- 4:19gives you guys a visual of what happened this weekends. I just had to
- 4:23stop the recording for a second because a delivery truck just came to my front
- 4:27door with my engagement dress that I'm wearing for a photo shoot this weekend,
- 4:33So that's something I'll quickly touch on as well. We have not done our
- 4:38engagement photos shoot yet and it's happening this weekend, so I'm so excited to
- 4:44do that with Zach. I feel like that's when it's going to start feeling
- 4:46real. Like obviously, it's feeling real obviously because we've been engaged now for
- 4:49like six months, but I feel like nothing's really happened since. So having
- 4:55the photo shoot, I think, is going to feel like even more exciting.
- 4:58And we are two months away from our engagement party and I'm literally nervous
- 5:03but excited because there's still so much work that has to get done. But
- 5:08anyways, one of the dresses just came in and I have two looks that
- 5:11I'm doing for the photoshoot. One of them I've already tried on. It's
- 5:15from the company The Bar. It looks so good, it bits perfectly.
- 5:19I don't need to do any alteration, so I'm really happy about that.
- 5:23And then this second one just came in and I'm gonna have to try it
- 5:27on after recording this episode. But anyways, I'm very excited about that.
- 5:31Make sure to follow me on Instagram if you guys want to see the photos.
- 5:33I'm sure they'll be up sometime next week. But yeah, that's something
- 5:36else I just wanted to bring up because yeah, I feel like I haven't
- 5:41given an update on engagement stuff. So that's a little update on that.
- 5:45Okay, so let's get into today's episode. I'm changing it up this week.
- 5:49I feel like I'm always talking about health of wellness, how to become
- 5:53our best selves, which obviously we love, but I wanted to change it
- 5:56up and do a TikTok trend. I've seen a few other podcasters do this
- 6:02as a podcast episode idea, and I thought it was really funny. I've
- 6:05listened to a few episodes, and it kind of also adds a personal touch
- 6:10because I feel like I talk about my personal life. Sometimes you guys know
- 6:14things about me, sometimes you don't. I obviously have an episode about me,
- 6:18just about myself, get to know me all that, and I feel
- 6:21like you guys know a little bit of stuff about Zach, which is my
- 6:24fiance, so if you're new, if you didn't know that, But this
- 6:29kind of also adds a bit of a personal touch about me and Zach.
- 6:31I kind of wish Zach was involved in this episode because it's about him and
- 6:36eyes beige flags and red flags. We did it together last night, and
- 6:41anyways, we had a good laugh doing it. But he's working and this
- 6:45has obviously worked for me, so I thought I would just do it myself.
- 6:49But if you guys have not heard of the beige flags and red flags
- 6:54on TikTok it is, I'll give you guys a bit of a definition.
- 6:58It is like quirky traits or habits about yourself that aren't relationship deal breakers,
- 7:03but aren't positive either, So that's the definition of a beige flag. So
- 7:09they aren't necessarily bad or good, but they still make you pause and think.
- 7:15It's basically something that it's like things that bug us about your partner or
- 7:20about yourself. So that's what a definition is of a beige flag based off
- 7:25of what I've seen on TikTok. And then a red flag definition is a
- 7:29potential problem. So it's typically a personality trait or habit that would make someone
- 7:35undesirable to date. So yeah, sometimes these red flags can be like about
- 7:42someone that you're close with. It could be red flags like from your first
- 7:45date about a guy whatever. So I thought it would be fun to do
- 7:47my own personal beige legs and red flags. And then the same thing about
- 7:51Zach his red flags and beige flags. So don't worry, the red flags
- 7:57are really not that bad for like Zach, I'm not gonna rip them apart
- 8:01or anything like that. Some girls are like really hateful against their boyfriends about
- 8:05some red flags. I've seen some tiktoks where I'm like, Okay, we
- 8:09like, why are you even dating him if he has all these red flags?
- 8:11So the red flags that I have for him are actually kind of funny.
- 8:15So anyways, we're gonna start with me. And again, this is
- 8:18also just adding a bit of a personal touch for you guys to get to
- 8:20know me, because these are all very accurate about myself. So and I
- 8:26feel like some of you guys can relate to this as well, which is
- 8:28kind of funny. Okay, So first beige flag for me is pretending I
- 8:33know someone but I actually don't remember them. So I will always have this
- 8:37situation where, you know, I'm at Walmart or something and someone comes up
- 8:41to me and they're like, oh my god, Kaylee, how are you?
- 8:45And I'm like, oh my god, how are you? And I'm
- 8:48like having a full conversation with them. Usually it's someone from high school whatever,
- 8:52And you know, sometimes I'm with my sister. Sometimes I'm alone,
- 8:54and you know, my sister will be like, oh, who's that and
- 8:56I'm like, oh, my god, I have no idea, Like I
- 9:00just like play up the situation, like you know, I know this person,
- 9:03and I just kind of make up random stuff and I'm like, I
- 9:07have no idea who that is. I do not have the best memory when
- 9:09it comes to remembering names sometimes faces as well. Sometimes I can recognize someone's
- 9:18face and I'm like, I don't know how I know you, but I
- 9:20know you, so I don't know. But that specific situation where I pretend
- 9:24to know someone when I'm talking to them when I actually don't know who they
- 9:28are at all is like very common about me. Okay. Another beige leg
- 9:33which is kind of related to Zach is Zach playing with my hair, and
- 9:37if he stops playing with it, I will get mad at him. So
- 9:41I love physical touch, like I love when he touches my arm, plays
- 9:45with my back, plays with my hair like I love that, and I
- 9:50get so upset with him if he stops, because like we'll be laying in
- 9:54bed for like two hours before bed and I'll get him to play with my
- 9:58hair, and if stops, I'm like, can you keep going? And
- 10:01obviously he's like, oh my god, I've already been doing this for two
- 10:03hours, like why do I still have to do this? So I feel
- 10:07like that might also be a red flag about me, is that I'm like
- 10:11needy maybe, but anyways, I thought that was really funny that, Yeah,
- 10:15he Zach also kind of made some of these up for me, And
- 10:18that's definitely a big yeah flag of me getting mad at him for literally no
- 10:22reason. It's just because I want to be touched. Okay. Another thing
- 10:26about me is I will call Zach literally like forty three times in one day,
- 10:31and I will literally just talk to him about the stupidest shit, Like
- 10:33I'll be like, oh, how's your date going, Oh Freddie did this?
- 10:37Oh I'm eating this for lunch. Oh, by the way, for
- 10:39our wedding that's not happening for another year that we haven't even booked a date
- 10:43for. Like I just I just love to call him, and he's busy
- 10:48at work. And Zach's an electricians so he doesn't really have the time to
- 10:52just have a conversation about what I'm eating for lunch, and obviously I'm busy
- 10:58too, but like, I don't really like to text. I'm a big
- 11:01talker, Like I would rather call someone or FaceTime someone than have a conversation
- 11:05over text. That's just me. So anyways, that's a huge joke I
- 11:09think through TikTok too is that like wives and girlfriends are always calling their significant
- 11:13other just like about the stupidest stuff. So that's another thing about me.
- 11:18Another beige flag about me is I'm a hyperchondriact. If you guys don't know
- 11:24what a hyper contract is, is that anything that's wrong with me? If
- 11:26I'm feeling sick, like I immediately think of the worst case scenario, like
- 11:28if I'm you know, I rarely have a headache, I'm like, oh
- 11:31my god, I have cancer, which is so bad to say, like
- 11:35like Kiley, why I'm laughing because it's so accurate. But do not google
- 11:41stuff. That's the other thing I'm awful at that I have one symptom.
- 11:45I google what's wrong with me, and you know, obviously it's like the
- 11:48worst thing in the planet, and I freak out and then I get overstressed
- 11:52about that, which is obviously not healthy. So anyways, it's I can't
- 11:58I can't do anything about it, like it is what it is, It's
- 12:00who I am. That's just the reality. But I try to avoid googling
- 12:05stuff. Another one is is that I have to have something sweet after every
- 12:09single meal, like no word of a joke. After lunch, I need
- 12:13chocolate. After dinner, I need chocolate. After breakfast, I have a
- 12:16really sweet coffee or something like that. Like there's just this addiction to sweets,
- 12:22specifically chocolate, as I've said. And it's so funny because when Zach
- 12:26and I started dating, Zach thought it was so weird that I had dessert
- 12:31after every meal. Like He's like, that's so weird. I'm like not
- 12:33really, Like it's pretty common. Like and now guess who's a dessert person,
- 12:39Zach, And he blames me for every cavity he gets from the dentists
- 12:43or anything like that. I'm like, do not blame this on me,
- 12:45Like that is not my fault. Anyways, It's just funny. So he
- 12:48never used to be a dessert person, and now after you know, dinner
- 12:54or lunch, he always gets like a freezy or whatever. The difference between
- 12:58me and him, though, is that like I am caut is on how
- 13:01much sugar I consume when I'm having these desserts, whereas him, he's like,
- 13:03oh, okay, dessert, let me eat a whole bag of skittles
- 13:07because guys don't know how to control their sugar intakes. So anyways, okay,
- 13:11I kind of already mentioned this one, but I am the worst texter
- 13:16edber and it's so bad and I feel so bad, even like dms on
- 13:20Instagram, like sometimes I won't see your DM, like if you guys message
- 13:24me like a week later, and I feel so bad and I'm like,
- 13:28oh, I wish I responded to that whatever. Sometimes I will just because
- 13:31I feel so bad. But I think it's just because I feel so like
- 13:35overwhelmed and busy with everything in life that I feel like I don't have the
- 13:41time to text. I don't know, I just am not a good texter.
- 13:43And that's why if I want to have a conversation with someone, I'm
- 13:46always going to call you or FaceTime you. I will never text you.
- 13:50I don't know. I just even like stuff that I'm booking for my engagement
- 13:54party. Obviously, there's all these emails. I'm calling them because I'd rather
- 13:56call them than email them. I'm just I'm better over the phone and I
- 14:01am over text, and I feel like I can just get my point across
- 14:03better when I communicate like verbally, so that's a fact about me. I
- 14:09suck at texting. Another thing about me, I can't leave my dog alone,
- 14:15Like I am obsessed with my dog Freddy. And I actually think that
- 14:20I thought Freddie had separation anxiety, But now I'm starting to think that maybe
- 14:24I have separation anxiety from my dog, which is obviously probably unhealthy. Obviously
- 14:28I'm being overdramatic about the situation. Obviously I can leave Freddie alone, but
- 14:35like I do always feel bad, like I'm like, oh, like he's
- 14:37gonna be so sad. And I think it's because there's just been so many
- 14:41situations where he's cried and all that. And I will say that Freddie has
- 14:45gotten so much better from when he was a puppy verse now leaving him alone.
- 14:48I think I've mentioned it in the past that his anxiety is like really
- 14:52really bad and we had to like you know, get him on medication and
- 14:54all that, and we have just been using like CBD. But he's also
- 15:00just gotten a lot better. I found just like as he's gotten older,
- 15:03he's going to be too this year or so. Yeah, I don't know.
- 15:07I feel like he's like getting used to being alone. Like I can,
- 15:11I can leave and go to the grocery store. No problem. I'm
- 15:13just again being over dramatic about how I miss him and blah blah blah.
- 15:18But I do always love like giving my dog company, and I do always
- 15:22love like having him around people, Like if I can, I will drive
- 15:28him to my parents place if I'm gone for like a long period of time,
- 15:31because I like to know that he's happy, you know what I mean.
- 15:35Like, I don't like when my dog is sad. He's he's your
- 15:37baby. Like if you have a dog or a cat or any kind of
- 15:39animal that you just adore, you just know that they're literally like your little
- 15:45your little babies. So I just always like to make sure that he's in
- 15:48good hands. Okay, last beige flag about me, and I'm pretty sure
- 15:52I already did in this episode, is that I make up words all the
- 15:56time and I'm super confident that they're real and I just put them into sentences
- 16:00and people just assume, like, oh, yeah, that's a real word.
- 16:02Like I don't know, I just can, you know, talk shit
- 16:07and say whatever and people think it's a real word, and I'm I think
- 16:11it's a real word. I'm like whatever, it's a word. We're gonna
- 16:12make it a word. It makes sense, it sounds right. People believe
- 16:15me, so as long as they're confident, I think you know you're fine.
- 16:19So anyways, that's a funny beige flag about me. Okay, let's
- 16:23go on to Zach. And I feel like some of you guys will relate
- 16:27to this with your boyfriends or partners or husbands or anything like that. But
- 16:33one thing about Zach is he always like he always falls asleep but like eight
- 16:40pm. He just his job is exhausting, right, Like he's a blue
- 16:45collar boy. So anyways, he always sleeps super early and then he pretends
- 16:48that he's awake. So if I catch him on like eight thirty sleeping,
- 16:52I'm like Zach, because like he's usually snoring, Like I can hear him
- 16:56snoring and I'm watching TV. I'm not even bet at this point, and
- 16:59I'm like, you're sleeping and he's like, no, I'm not, and
- 17:02I'm like, yes, you are, like you're literally sleeping. And anyways,
- 17:04it's so funny because like sometimes I even sneak videos and then I show
- 17:08them after I'm like, really, you said you weren't sleeping. Well,
- 17:11here's a snapchat video to prove it. Anyways, we have this like running
- 17:15joke between us because he always is so confident about like nope, I'm awake,
- 17:21and especially during movies, don't even get me started. Like I'm like,
- 17:22oh, let's watch a movie. And then he like the first like
- 17:26twenty minutes in the movie, he falls asleep, and I'm like, okay,
- 17:27what just happened. He's like, well, you know like this,
- 17:30I'm just like, exactly, you were asleep. Don't even don't even lie.
- 17:34So anyways, that's his beige leg. It's yeah, it's not a
- 17:40problem. It's just funny. Another thing about Zach is Zach and I are
- 17:45very opposites when it comes to this, like this is my red flag and
- 17:48this is Zach's beige leg. Zach will always arrive like half an hour early
- 17:53before like anything, when it comes to like an appointment, a game,
- 17:57whatever, like we have to be somewhere. So if we're getting ready for
- 18:00dinner and we have a reservation, like, Zach wants to be there like
- 18:03twenty five minutes early. Unlike me. I run late all the time,
- 18:08Like I'm never on time. It's really really bad. It's a really bad
- 18:11habit. And That's definitely one of my red flags is I just I'm never
- 18:18on time unfortunately. And yeah, so even like a dinner reservation, like
- 18:23obviously the girls get it getting ready and all that, he's like, oh
- 18:26my god, we should have left like ten minutes going. I'm like,
- 18:27babe, the restaurant is literally ten minutes away, and like it's still a
- 18:32half an hour like away from the reservation time. So anyways, it's just
- 18:37funny. But Zach is always early about everything, like even his baseball games.
- 18:41I'm like, baby, like your game is literally not for another hour
- 18:42and a half and he's like, yeah, don't know, but I want
- 18:45to be there early. I want to stretch, I want to take everything
- 18:47out, blah blah blah. I'm like, okay, you do you whatever.
- 18:49Anyways, So that's sacks page flag. Another page flag about Sack is
- 18:55he's overly loud. He just like having a conversation and I'm like, babe,
- 19:00dial it down, Like your voice is so loud. I mean,
- 19:03I'm kind of loud too. I think that's I don't know how we work
- 19:06so well. But anyways, he just like laughs, loud, talks loud,
- 19:11all that. So that's one. Another thing about Zach is he like
- 19:17this is not to say like in a cocky way, he just like knows
- 19:21the most random as shit, Like he knows everything. Like we call him
- 19:23Zakopedia like Wikipedia, because he'll just say like randomly, like oh do you
- 19:29guys know that like in nineteen seventy five Blue Jays blah blah blah blah,
- 19:33and I'm like, how do you know this? Like like he'll just pull
- 19:36facts out of his ass and everyone's like what, Like it just is the
- 19:40most randomist stuff And it's just so funny because everyone just calls him Zacopedia because
- 19:45it's like, what are you saying right now? And how do you even
- 19:48know this information? Like he doesn't even like read books or anything, so
- 19:52it's just funny. I think he reads a lot of like news articles.
- 19:55He listens to a lot of podcasts, like I'm talking like forty five po
- 20:00casts a day at work, so maybe he's learning this information from that as
- 20:03well. But it's just funny because he always has these random facts that he
- 20:07tells in front of her friends or family or whatever, and it's just funny.
- 20:11Another beach flag about Zach is he always likes to show people ugly photos
- 20:15of me and thinks that I actually like look good at them, and he
- 20:19always tells me like, oh, he looks so beautiful, like before I'm
- 20:22going to bed, not when I'm going out. Like when I'm going out,
- 20:26I'm expecting like, oh, like Zach's gonna Zach's gonna compliment me because
- 20:29it looks so good whatever, you know, Like he'd be like, oh,
- 20:30yeah, you look good, and I'm like, okay, thanks,
- 20:33And then before I go to bed and be like, oh my god,
- 20:34you look so beautiful, like and I'm like, I'm literally have no makeup
- 20:40on my face, my hair, I haven't washed in seven days, and
- 20:42I'm pretty sure I wore these pajamas yesterday. Like just like never when I
- 20:48look my best, and I feel like you guys get that, Like I
- 20:49feel like guys like when he looks like you, like very natural, like
- 20:56nothing like no makeup, no like crazy outfit all that. Like I don't
- 21:00know if you guys can relate to that, but I always feel like Zach
- 21:03always says I look good when I'm like when I feel like I'm at my
- 21:06worst. It's just the reality of our relationship. But not like he never
- 21:10compliments me when I dress up, Like obviously sometimes he does, but I
- 21:12just feel like there's more compliments when I look like shit verse when I actually
- 21:18try so. And then yeah, the whole ugly photos thing, Like I
- 21:21don't know why he thinks it's so cute and funny, and I'm like,
- 21:23this is like the worst picture of me ever. Like he shows us one
- 21:26photo to our friends of me eating black ice cream, and I have ice
- 21:30cream all over my face and my teeth, and I'm like, do we
- 21:33really need to show this to everybody here? Like it's not a good photo
- 21:37anyways, It's just so funny. Okay. Last beige flag about Zach is
- 21:44he cannot wear white clothes because he will spill like everything on himself, like
- 21:48literally, like every single time, like when we go to my parents' house
- 21:52and we're eating pizza or something or wings or ribs or whatever, he will
- 21:56literally take a shirt off in front of my family and sit and like eat
- 22:00without a shirt on because he will literally spill like stuff on a shirt.
- 22:04It's just it's just a running joke in my family, like at a restaurant,
- 22:07like I mean, he just tries to avoid wearing light colors. He'll
- 22:11wear like the napkin on his shirt or on his pants or something like that.
- 22:15But he just cannot wear light clothes because he just spills everything on himself.
- 22:21Like maybe he's clumsy. I have no idea, but that is one
- 22:25thing about him that he just Yeah, he cannot wear light clothes. It's
- 22:27just so funny. Okay, let's get into my red flag. So I
- 22:33said one of them, which is never being on time. Another one is
- 22:37this is really bad. I'm listening, but I'm actually not. And it's
- 22:41not like I don't want to see that in a hurtful way. But when
- 22:42I'm on my phone, I'm so focused on like editing a video or posting
- 22:48an Instagram or TikTok or whatever, Like I'm so focused on that. Like
- 22:52I'm not that kind of person, Like I can multitask, but I can't
- 22:55multitask when it comes to like being on my phone and having a conversation with
- 22:59someone, like that's just not going to work. I'm way too focused on
- 23:00making sure that the post, you know, there's no spelling mistakes, that
- 23:06all the edits are correct. Whatever. So someone's trying to have a conversation
- 23:08with me, I like they'll say something and they'll be like mmm, like
- 23:12kind of like yeah, I'm not listening, but sure, and then Zach
- 23:15would be like, Okay, what did I just say? And I'm like,
- 23:18oh god, I have no idea, and he's like exactly, like,
- 23:19you're not listening to me. It's not purposely done. But like,
- 23:23I feel bad sometimes when I'm doing that. But that's a huge red flag
- 23:27of mine, is that I'm listening, but I'm like, I pretend that
- 23:32I'm listening when I'm actually not. Oh yeah, this is the one that
- 23:34Zach made for me talking during movies. I'm really bad at that. Like
- 23:41I will be at the movie theater with Zach and I'll be like, okay,
- 23:45so like what happened at this part? Like I don't really understand.
- 23:48He's like, oh my god, shut up, Cally. So yeah,
- 23:53I feel like there's always one person in a relationship that's going to talk during
- 23:56a movie. It's just the reality. If you don't talk during a movie.
- 24:00I mean, good on you, guys, but I'm the talker when
- 24:03it comes to movies. I need some explanation, especially when the movie seems
- 24:07a little too complicated or when you know, when movies are just like like
- 24:11way out of order when like you know, it starts from like the end
- 24:15of the movie and then you know, backs tracks and then it's all confusing
- 24:18and anyways, Yeah, no, I always ask a lot of questions during
- 24:22movies. Okay, another red flag about me. I feel like this is
- 24:26more like I wouldn't say I'm an oversharer on social media, but I feel
- 24:30like I'm an oversharer when it comes to like my friends, Like I kind
- 24:33of overshare a little too much about my personal life because I love well.
- 24:38I mean, I'm pretty honest with you guys too. I feel like I
- 24:41share a lot on here, but I am an oversharer. I don't think
- 24:45that's really a red flag. Maybe maybe it's more of a beige flag.
- 24:48I don't know, but I don't know if it's a bad thing. But
- 24:52sometimes, you know, I just overshare. Oh, Zach also thought of
- 24:57this one. I mean, I feel like girls like this, but I'm
- 25:00high maintenance. Yeah, I'm very high maintenance. Yeah. I like to
- 25:04get my nails done, like to get my hair done. I like to
- 25:07spend a lot of money in general. Like, I don't know, I'm
- 25:11just very high maintenance. Like I can't even explain anything else, Like,
- 25:14I feel like you guys already know that I'm high maintenance. It is what
- 25:15it is. This is very accurate. This next one, and I kind
- 25:18of talked about this in the solo episode, is that I can't be alone,
- 25:22Like I have to force myself to be alone, and I do enjoy
- 25:26my own company. I just enjoy like being with people, like I love,
- 25:32like, you know, even like working from home alone, like I
- 25:34will try and like find an hour of my day to leave and go spend
- 25:38time with my parents or my sister. I constantly text my sister. I'm
- 25:42always like, what are you doing today? Like do you want to work
- 25:45together? You know? I just like to have company around me when I'm
- 25:48working or anything like that. I'd love to have plans. I like to
- 25:51keep myself busy. I don't really like to just be at home and have
- 25:55time to myself, even though I enjoy being alone and having time for myself,
- 25:59I just for some reason have this motivation to always be with people.
- 26:03So yeah, that's one of my red flags. I really can't be alone.
- 26:06I also feel like that's why I got a dog, because Zach and
- 26:10I we moved out and literally not even the first two weeks of moving out
- 26:14together, we were both like, we need a dog. Like it was
- 26:17just like an immediate instinct that we were like, yep, we're buying a
- 26:18dog. Like we can't like be in a house without ones. So we
- 26:23used to babysit my parents' dogs and bring them to the apartment, and I'm
- 26:26like, it just didn't feel the same, like it just you needed to
- 26:30have like your own dogs. So yeah, that's another thing. Oh yeah,
- 26:34this one's definitely a red flag. Buying ten dollars lattes. I will
- 26:38spend like I could care less how much money I spend on a coffee,
- 26:41Like I go to New York City and I easily drop like twelve to thirteen
- 26:45dollars in a coffee and I could care less. But it's the best ice
- 26:48coffee like I'll ever have, and I'll make me the happiest person alive,
- 26:51so it's like worth it. So I'm really bad at that. And you
- 26:56guys know, I always love to treat myself to a coffee, like probably
- 27:00at least two to three times a week. There's something about buying yourself a
- 27:03coffee, like I find like I make really good coffees here at home,
- 27:07but it's the whole experience of getting out of the house buying yourself a coffee,
- 27:12Like I don't know, I like I would do that every single day,
- 27:15but you know, you got to put a limit on some stuff.
- 27:18So yeah, I'm pretty bad at that. This one is I feel like
- 27:23really obvious on social media as well about me, is I can't relax.
- 27:29I am that kind of person where I'm always going, like I just the
- 27:32motivation just never stops here like obviously, like not saying the motivation, it
- 27:36never stops like obviously, Like I have to be honest, these past two
- 27:38days of being home. So I came home Sunday, today's Monday. I
- 27:45have not unpacked my suitcase. I have not got into my you know,
- 27:48get back into routine kind of thing. And that's okay. You guys know
- 27:53that based on my other episodes that sometimes it takes, you know, a
- 27:57few days to get back into routine. One thing I did do this morning
- 28:00was I did do a workout. I did like a twenty minute workout.
- 28:04I think we talked about us in the last episode. Actually how you know,
- 28:07I just kind of like take it a dial down than what I typically
- 28:11do to get back into my morning routine and all that, but like I
- 28:14still have an unpacked by still haven't on grocery shopping. It's the reality,
- 28:17and I'm being honest here, I just haven't had the full motivation to get
- 28:22bully back into the swing of things. And obviously work has been busy as
- 28:25well these past two days, like catching up on work, so that is
- 28:27my priority is catching up on work, getting whatever I have to get done,
- 28:30and then get back into my routine and all that. So yeah,
- 28:37so like I can't relax, like I'm still doing stuff even though like I'm
- 28:41not fully back into routine. But I'm that kind of person that just like
- 28:45always needs to have things like planned or done. Like there's just like never
- 28:51like even at night, like when I'm sitting in bed, like Okay,
- 28:53yeah, I guess you can consider that relaxing. But I'm always on my
- 28:56phone. I'm always on my computer, like doing stuff for the engaging party,
- 29:00doing stuff for work, like you know, always making sure I have
- 29:06a whole like layout of what I have to get done the next day,
- 29:08like a whole planned out day, which you guys know, I'm a big
- 29:11to do list kind of gal and that's what always pushes me to, you
- 29:15know, get Steff done and all that is these to do lists. So
- 29:18I don't know, I just can't relax. The only time that I can
- 29:21relax is if I'm at a spa. That's when I really force myself to
- 29:23like enjoy like the relaxation of going in sauna is going in hot bass and
- 29:29just being at a spaw in general, like not being able to take your
- 29:32phone out or anything. Those would be the only times I honestly would think
- 29:36that I actually relax. Is when I'm forced to not like be on social
- 29:40media or anything like that, which kind of sounds bad. But yeah,
- 29:42I just I can't relax. And my last red flag is I have stomach
- 29:48problems. I feel like this is for a lot of girls. I Yeah,
- 29:53eating certain foods sometimes just doesn't sit well with me. It's not like
- 29:57to the point where I'm like, oh my god, me too. It
- 30:00tested like I know what your tats my stomach. It's usually dairy when I'm
- 30:04like, I've consumed like a high volume of dairy. If I have like
- 30:07a little bit of cheese on a pizza, I'll be fine. Ice cream
- 30:12again, if I have like a whole like you know, like a blizzard
- 30:15from dairy Queen. If I had a regular blizzard size of ice cream,
- 30:18I would be sick to my stomach for literally two days. If I have
- 30:25like a heavy cream pasta dish, I will be sick the next day.
- 30:30So yeah, if I'm making a cream pasta dish myself, like, I
- 30:33can control how much cream goes in it, so I'll be fine knowing what
- 30:37I'm putting into it. But at a restaurant, obviously you can't see how
- 30:41much cream they're putting in. So anyways, I just know that dairy is
- 30:45not the greatest for me, but I still eat it anyways, and I
- 30:48don't take any medication for it, just because it's not to the point where
- 30:52I need to be on medication. So and then other stomach problems just about
- 30:56who knows what, like probably haven't drank enough water in the day or whatever.
- 31:00Like yeah, I feel like a lot of girls can relate to that
- 31:03is just having stomach problems. Okay, we're now going to get into Zach's
- 31:07red flag. Sorry this makes me laugh just because I made these for Zach,
- 31:11and like I said, we went through them last night and we were
- 31:15just laughing because they're so accurate. But one red flag about Zach is that
- 31:19he cannot dance like at all. And I think the first reason why I
- 31:25thought of this one first is because at the wedding, obviously we both had
- 31:29a few drinks. We were feeling good whatever, and Zach, when he
- 31:32has a few drinks, he can dance on the dance floor. But like,
- 31:33he can't dance like he just like looks like he's anyways. Just makes
- 31:38you laugh. He just looks like he's trying to dance, And I'm like,
- 31:41Babe, I love you so much, but we are going to need
- 31:44to go to dance classes for like our first dance for a wedding because it's
- 31:48that bad. Like love you, honey, But he's got no rhythm like
- 31:51at all. Or he can't sing either, like he just you know anyways.
- 31:55So that's a red flag about Zach because I can't dance, and I
- 31:59guess you know all the icks about your guy. A new ich unlocked this
- 32:04weekend is Zach dancing but still love him. Another red flag about Zach is
- 32:08that he doesn't eat veggies. What girl can agree with me? Like,
- 32:13I will make a full pot of broccoli for like a side dish for dinner,
- 32:17and he will literally only put the carb and the protein on his plate.
- 32:22And sometimes if he's feeling, you know, healthy for some reason,
- 32:27he'll grab like two pieces of broccoli after he's done eating his whole entire meal.
- 32:30And it's like, okay, there you go. I eat vegetables like
- 32:32making me think that, like, oh, good for you, honey,
- 32:36like you ate your greens, but he never puts the greens on his plate,
- 32:40just because he hates vegetables so much. Like there's not one veggie I
- 32:44can think. Actually there's one veggie that he does eat every single time.
- 32:46That's asparagus, but we don't really buy it that much or that often.
- 32:51So anyways, that's one thing about him is that he doesn't like to eat
- 32:54veggies. Okay, this one is still like shocking to me till this day,
- 32:59Like when I met him, when he told me he did not like
- 33:01this. It is he's the only person that I've ever met that I honestly
- 33:06don't like that doesn't like this. He doesn't like watermelon, Like who doesn't
- 33:12like watermelon? To me, that's like shocking. It is literally the best
- 33:16fruit, like ever and he doesn't like it, like he basically the reason
- 33:22why he doesn't like Let me give a backstory on this is when he was
- 33:25like five or six, his parents entered him into a watermelon eating contest,
- 33:30and like, I get it, the texture is kind of weird, right,
- 33:35So he all this watermelon for the contest to try and win, and
- 33:37then he threw up like so much the entire day, just from like over
- 33:43like eating watermelon and over hydrating himself, right, because watermelon is kind of
- 33:47hydrating. And to this day, he said he cannot eat watermelon without like
- 33:53gagging because of the texture, and just like it just like haunts him to
- 34:00this day of that experience he had of the watermelon eating contest. So I
- 34:05swear to god, he's the only person I know that doesn't eat watermelon.
- 34:07But it's quite funny that he doesn't like that, Okay. Another red flag
- 34:13is that he forgets everything, like doesn't know where his wall it is,
- 34:17doesn't know where his car keys are, can't find his phone, like everything,
- 34:22And I'm like, baby, it's at the front door, like I
- 34:25always know where it is. But he loses everything. It is so bad,
- 34:31but yeah, it is what it is, Okay, another red flag
- 34:36is he's lactose intolerant, which I mean I am too, so I guess
- 34:39that's my red flag as well. But the reason why it was actually a
- 34:45choice he made when Zach was younger, he like in high school, he
- 34:47had really bad acne and obviously guys like, don't go to the doctor about
- 34:53it. They you know, they don't want to do anything when it comes
- 34:57to their skin. And so we started dating obviously when we were in high
- 35:00school. So I was trying to help him out as a girl, like
- 35:01wanting to help him with his skincare, and we realize I was like,
- 35:07maybe you should try and cut out dairy and see if that helps your skin.
- 35:10And ever since he cut out dairy, his skin has completely cleared up,
- 35:16like so so much better. And we still eat like dairy from time
- 35:22to time, but every time he eats dairy, he has a little breakout
- 35:24like on his skin, like whether it's just like one or two pimples whatever,
- 35:29Like it's the reality. But yeah, we both are kind of lactose
- 35:34intolerant, like we that's the diet. It's not a diet, but you
- 35:37understand what I'm saying that we follow here at home, laptoas free, cheese,
- 35:40lactose free like milk all that. So yeah, going on to skincare,
- 35:46he has no skincare routine. No matter how hard I try to get
- 35:50him on like skincare products, he will not, Like he will not do
- 35:53a skincare routine before but or before he leaves the house. He will literally
- 35:57wash his face with a bar soap Like why why are guys like that?
- 36:01But like I'm like, honey, put some moisturizer on, like you know,
- 36:06like I honestly like his skin is good now, like there's nothing wrong
- 36:08with it. But you know, I'm just trying to keep him young,
- 36:12and yah know he doesn't want to do it, so a bar soap will
- 36:16do. I guess, Oh my god, this is yeah, this is
- 36:20We were laughing at this one because it's so accurate. He gets so angry
- 36:24like this, Like yeah, I get I guess I kind of get angry
- 36:29myself too, But he is like another level of hungry, like he like
- 36:34needs eat so much in a day, Like I swear buying groceries. I
- 36:37swear I'm buying like more than half the groceries just for him because he eats
- 36:39so much. But yeah, he gets really angry, like it's really bad,
- 36:45but we still love him. Another red flag is that he's overly obsessed
- 36:51with baseball. This guy lives and breathes the sport, like every time summer
- 36:55comes around, Like he plays on two different teams. He plays two to
- 37:00three times a week, and then he also plays in a bunch of tournaments
- 37:04on the weekend. And usually they're like travel like tournaments, like he'll go
- 37:08to you know, Kingston, he'll go to London, whatever. So yeah,
- 37:13that's a red flag. I mean, it's kind of like the girls
- 37:15that are like my man is overly obsessed with golf, and golf's like every
- 37:19night, like or video games or whatever. Like that is Zach with baseball,
- 37:23Like it's just an obsession watching it. You know, he loves sports
- 37:28obviously, but he plays baseball and that's his obsession. And yeah, he
- 37:34just you know, I'd rather him be obsessed with that, I guess,
- 37:36than anything else. So that's his obsession. Another red flag is that he's
- 37:42overly competitive about everything, literally everything, Like he thinks everything's a competition.
- 37:49Like when we're playing, you know, drinking games with our friends, it's
- 37:52like who can drink the most he wants to be the he wants to win,
- 37:55you know, just any type of board game that we play with our
- 37:58friends or just him. And you know sports, if he loses, like
- 38:02he you know, gets heated obviously. So yeah, he's very, very
- 38:07competitive. And the last red flag is that he has back problems, which
- 38:14I mean it sounds funny. I mean, I have stomach problems, and
- 38:15then he has back problems. But his back problems are really bad. He
- 38:20injured his back from snowboarding a long, long time ago, and since then,
- 38:25his back has never been the same, no matter how much physio he
- 38:28goes to or anything like that, stretching. Um, it's just like an
- 38:31injury that like really affected him. So sometimes like it will just give out
- 38:37and yeah, it's like really really bad. So yeah, that's his red
- 38:42flag. He has back problems. And then sorry, I think I have
- 38:45one more. I think I said the back problem was the last one,
- 38:47but this one's actually the last one. Every buddy loves him, like Grandma's
- 38:52oh my god, Zak is so great, like parents that I've only met
- 38:57once. Oh yeah, Zach, He's such a great guy. Like I'm
- 38:59like, oh my god. Everybody loves this guy. Like why, but
- 39:01why, Well, I'm marrying him, so obviously I understand why everybody loves
- 39:06him. But yeah, it's just funny because I feel like everyone always has
- 39:09something nice to say about Zach. They just think he's such a great guy,
- 39:13so personable. One thing about Zach is that he can get along with
- 39:16anyone, Like he knows how to pick up what people you know, like
- 39:21in terms of like if you just met someone for the first time and you
- 39:22want to spike a conversation with them and you don't want to talk about,
- 39:25like, Zach will know what to talk about with that person even when he
- 39:29just first met them, Like, He's very good at getting to know people
- 39:32and being able to bond with them after like the first twenty minutes of knowing
- 39:37someone, like And that's why I feel like everybody loves him is that he's
- 39:40able to relate to them in some way, which is honestly a green flag
- 39:44as well, like knowing that your partner can you know, you can put
- 39:49him into any kind of situation, you know he'll be good. You know
- 39:51he's never gonna like not want to be somewhere because he's uncomfortable, Like he
- 39:57will always feel comfortable with me knowing that he's able to to be confident enough
- 40:01to spike conversations with new people and create a friendship with someone. So yeah,
- 40:07but those are the beige and red flags of Zach and I. I
- 40:12guess it gets you to, you know, get to know me a bit
- 40:16better as well as Zach and also kind of relate to maybe you and your
- 40:21partner. But thank you guys so much for listening to another episode. If
