- 0:28Speaker 2: That's like a hologram.
- 0:30Speaker 1: Yeah, it's Loki three.
- 0:31Speaker 2: D Oh, that shit is crazy.
- 0:32Speaker 1: The little soccer ball that's dope. Yeah, they almost fire,
- 0:36Speaker 1: that's dope. Identical twins, girls, you got twins?
- 0:40Speaker 2: First of all, when you found out you was having twins,
- 0:42Speaker 2: were you like fuck?
- 0:44Speaker 1: Nah? It was more like what the fuck? You know
- 0:46Speaker 1: what I mean? But that my mom told me that
- 0:48Speaker 1: twins running her family, Like.
- 0:49Speaker 2: Yeah, I feel like if I found a man I
- 0:52Speaker 2: would have been I'd have been like damn shit, just
- 0:54Speaker 2: got a lot more stressful. Now we got to buy
- 0:55Speaker 2: two of everything.
- 0:56Speaker 1: In my mom's family, there's a she has like three
- 1:01Speaker 1: sets of twin cousins. Yeah, so it skipped my generation
- 1:05Speaker 1: and goes to my kids, you know what I mean,
- 1:07Speaker 1: it skips the generation.
- 1:08Speaker 2: I mean, I guess it's pretty easy. Do you buy
- 1:10Speaker 2: them just the same of everything, like two of everything?
- 1:13Speaker 1: Yeah, but it sucks because like when I see something
- 1:14Speaker 1: that I really really like, I want to buy it
- 1:16Speaker 1: for my daughter. If there ain't two of them.
- 1:18Speaker 2: You can't buy it. Yeah, that's crazy. So they're both
- 1:21Speaker 2: about to be five. Yeah, they're about to be pre school. Yeah,
- 1:24Speaker 2: preschool man shot out to preschool man. That's what's something.
- 1:27Speaker 2: We'll listen. You're fucking fired, dude. I was telling your boy, Oh,
- 1:31Speaker 2: you're like the fucking Mexican fucking sugar Free dog. You'll
- 1:34Speaker 2: be saying some shit. You got music with sugar Free too.
- 1:38Speaker 1: Yeah, that's my boy.
- 1:39Speaker 2: The video is crazy. What was it like working with him?
- 1:41Speaker 2: Was he like a big inspiration because I feel like
- 1:43Speaker 2: I hear the inspiration growing up.
- 1:45Speaker 1: He was definitely an influence on me. Like you know,
- 1:46Speaker 1: I mean all the West Coast legends and ogs were
- 1:50Speaker 1: you know what I mean. So working with that dude
- 1:53Speaker 1: was like it was like damn, you know what I mean.
- 1:56Speaker 1: I called it home. He's like, hey, I'm right here
- 1:57Speaker 1: with sugar Free doing a video like what no way
- 2:01Speaker 1: was it? Like?
- 2:02Speaker 2: Uh? Was he everything you had hoped t b?
- 2:04Speaker 1: He was a trip man? He was. He's definitely a
- 2:07Speaker 1: dope ass character, dope ass person as an individual. Me
- 2:11Speaker 1: fun to be wrong?
- 2:12Speaker 2: Were you when when you when you did that record,
- 2:14Speaker 2: did you like have him in mind?
- 2:17Speaker 1: No? Okay, I had did that record a while back,
- 2:20Speaker 1: you know what I mean, And then my managers had
- 2:22Speaker 1: asked me, like, you know, get to give him a
- 2:24Speaker 1: list of people that I wanted a feature from, and
- 2:27Speaker 1: sugar Free was on the list, you know. So then
- 2:29Speaker 1: they hit me back like, hey, we got that sugar
- 2:31Speaker 1: Free feature, Like you know what I mean? You want
- 2:33Speaker 1: to hit the session? And I was like, you know
- 2:36Speaker 1: what put him on this track? I know exactly what
- 2:39Speaker 1: song I want to put him on, Like you know
- 2:40Speaker 1: what I mean? Yeah, it's perfect for ums, right in
- 2:43Speaker 1: his element.
- 2:44Speaker 2: So did you like come up you know, doing similar
- 2:48Speaker 2: you know, obviously similar activities to what sugar Free would
- 2:51Speaker 2: rap about back in the day.
- 2:54Speaker 1: Not really like I never really you know, pimp no
- 2:57Speaker 1: bitches or nothing like that, but I was definitely I
- 3:00Speaker 1: definitely had game, like when it comes to females and
- 3:03Speaker 1: relationships with them and stuff like that. You know what
- 3:06Speaker 1: I mean. I had a game like I was a
- 3:09Speaker 1: couple of steps ahead, so.
- 3:10Speaker 2: You never were like actually like I was like sending
- 3:13Speaker 2: bitches on dates.
- 3:13Speaker 1: No, nothing like that. But I was definitely benefiting from
- 3:16Speaker 1: the females I was talking talking to it.
- 3:18Speaker 2: Yeah, like you had your you had your your rotation
- 3:21Speaker 2: and they were beneficial. Yes, yeah, are you are you?
- 3:25Speaker 2: Are you married now?
- 3:26Speaker 1: Yeah? I'm married now to.
- 3:27Speaker 2: Marry gang man? You gotta hang it up every once
- 3:29Speaker 2: in a while.
- 3:30Speaker 1: It's a lot.
- 3:31Speaker 2: Uh.
- 3:32Speaker 1: After a while, it just becomes like you know what
- 3:33Speaker 1: I mean, who who am I gonna Who am I
- 3:37Speaker 1: gonna kick it with? Who's gonna be there with me
- 3:39Speaker 1: for the rest of us?
- 3:40Speaker 2: Trust? Yeah?
- 3:41Speaker 1: For real?
- 3:42Speaker 2: That's real for you? Was it like? Uh? Was it like?
- 3:46Speaker 2: What was like the main where you were like, yo, man,
- 3:49Speaker 2: it's time, I gotta fucking I gotta get married, Like.
- 3:51Speaker 1: You know, it was more like, Okay, I'm gonna be honest.
- 3:54Speaker 1: I was on my way to prison, so I was like,
- 3:57Speaker 1: what's up, Like, You're donna marry.
- 3:58Speaker 2: Me on the way to prison?
- 4:00Speaker 1: Yeah, Like could we get some contugal visiness going on?
- 4:02Speaker 1: She was like, Yeah, I'm gonna marry you. Got you.
- 4:06Speaker 2: How long was your sentence A couple of years? So
- 4:10Speaker 2: you proposed before prison knowing and she knew you were going.
- 4:13Speaker 1: No, I have proposed we got Mary Wallace in the county.
- 4:16Speaker 2: So you got married in jail knowing you're about to
- 4:19Speaker 2: be shipped.
- 4:19Speaker 1: Off the prison.
- 4:19Speaker 2: Yeah, what the fuck? That's romantically gangster. Yeah shout and
- 4:27Speaker 2: she held you down, Yes she did. That's fire. How
- 4:30Speaker 2: did the contract? I always wonder how the conjugal visits work,
- 4:32Speaker 2: because you obviously have to be married, so your wife
- 4:35Speaker 2: would come and visit you.
- 4:36Speaker 1: First, she has to be approved to visit, you know
- 4:39Speaker 1: what I mean. Then the rest of it is on me.
- 4:42Speaker 1: I have to get my visits to prove.
- 4:45Speaker 2: Like you can't be in there fucking off.
- 4:46Speaker 1: No, you got to have to behavior, and you know
- 4:49Speaker 1: you have to be trusted, right, you know what I mean?
- 4:51Speaker 1: So yeah, but it is a right, like I have
- 4:54Speaker 1: a right to conjugal visits.
- 4:56Speaker 2: So then wife you would come and they just leave
- 4:58Speaker 2: you guys in like a room or like a shed
- 5:00Speaker 2: or what does.
- 5:01Speaker 1: She gets to spend like the weekend with me or
- 5:02Speaker 1: whatever for a couple of days? Yeah, no, cat she
- 5:04Speaker 1: brings she could bring groceries and all of that.
- 5:07Speaker 2: What why would anyone go to prison and not be
- 5:10Speaker 2: married exactly right? That sounds like it's not that bad
- 5:14Speaker 2: as long as you keep your ship together, right, Yeah.
- 5:17Speaker 1: But it's a there's a flip side, you know. Now
- 5:20Speaker 1: she's now I'm stuck with her now forever. Oh yeah,
- 5:24Speaker 1: I love my wife.
- 5:25Speaker 2: She's a shot to her. But I like, yeah, we're
- 5:27Speaker 2: yeah shots our wives. Man. Yeah, we're stuck with all
- 5:29Speaker 2: of them.
- 5:30Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, they're stuck with us for sure.
- 5:34Speaker 2: But that part is it? Like do guys in like
- 5:38Speaker 2: like dudes in prison, when they know that you're about
- 5:40Speaker 2: to go get some pussy from your wife for the weekend,
- 5:42Speaker 2: do they be hating and trying to get you to
- 5:44Speaker 2: step out of line? So you know what I'm.
- 5:46Speaker 1: Saying, It depends, like you know what I mean. It
- 5:48Speaker 1: depends like be like, man, get charges like you know
- 5:52Speaker 1: what I mean? Yeah, get some extra for me, dog,
- 5:56Speaker 1: like you know what I mean?
- 5:56Speaker 2: Like like Jesus, yeah I could, Man, that'd be crazy.
- 6:00Speaker 2: I could because I always said to myself, like, man,
- 6:02Speaker 2: if if I had to go sit down, I couldn't.
- 6:05Speaker 2: I don't think I could jerk off in the same room.
- 6:07Speaker 2: As a dude, you know what I'm saying. So I
- 6:08Speaker 2: just feel like once I got out of prison, I
- 6:10Speaker 2: would just have like the most ultimate like fucking just
- 6:15Speaker 2: just whoever is getting this get pregnant right away?
- 6:18Speaker 1: The case that was the case, You'll get yourself sent
- 6:20Speaker 1: to the whole on purpose.
- 6:21Speaker 2: Just so you could go in there and just rub
- 6:23Speaker 2: the shit out and and you know, fucking access to
- 6:27Speaker 2: spank bank and.
- 6:27Speaker 1: Man tap needs. You know what I mean, Just how
- 6:29Speaker 1: just like how women has needs for.
- 6:31Speaker 2: Sure, man for sure? Yeah? Was that your only time
- 6:34Speaker 2: going to prison?
- 6:35Speaker 1: I've been in prison four times?
- 6:37Speaker 2: Four times in prison? Yeah damn? What what was the last?
- 6:41Speaker 2: Like obviously your your successful?
- 6:43Speaker 1: Now last the last term I did, I had to
- 6:45Speaker 1: do two terms back to back, so I did one
- 6:48Speaker 1: prison term. Then when I thought I was getting ready
- 6:50Speaker 1: to get released, you know, they had us all in
- 6:52Speaker 1: the tank and shit dressed out. All right, you come here,
- 6:57Speaker 1: you come here, you're getting on the bus. You come here,
- 7:00Speaker 1: not you Lopez, Sombordino's on their way to come get you.
- 7:03Speaker 1: You have an open case in Sumbordine.
- 7:05Speaker 2: I was like, fuck you, you're about to go home.
- 7:07Speaker 1: My wife was devastated, like bet she was way to
- 7:11Speaker 1: pick you up. She came all the way out there,
- 7:13Speaker 1: and then I was telling her like, you know, trying
- 7:15Speaker 1: to like comfort her or console her, like babe, don't trip.
- 7:20Speaker 1: Like as soon as I get to Sambordino County and
- 7:22Speaker 1: I go to court, They're gonna give me time served
- 7:24Speaker 1: and I'll be released, like don't worry, just a couple
- 7:26Speaker 1: more days, or you know what I mean. Then when
- 7:28Speaker 1: I got to court court, they weren't trying to fuck
- 7:30Speaker 1: with it, like, no, that's a separate case. That case
- 7:32Speaker 1: is over. Now, how much more longer did you have
- 7:33Speaker 1: to do another sixteen months?
- 7:36Speaker 2: Shit? That had to be super devastating for your growth
- 7:39Speaker 2: for you? You were pissed, so pissed.
- 7:43Speaker 1: Sambordino County's petty though, Like Okay, if it was a
- 7:46Speaker 1: the other way around, and I had a case in
- 7:48Speaker 1: Sabordino County where I went to prison for and when
- 7:52Speaker 1: I got out, I had an open case in LA,
- 7:54Speaker 1: they would have gave me time served because LA is
- 7:56Speaker 1: super overpopulated, like they're just trying to kick fools out,
- 7:59Speaker 1: like you know what I mean.
- 8:00Speaker 2: So, did you have to go to sanbury Dino County
- 8:03Speaker 2: jail for sixteen months or they put you in prison.
- 8:05Speaker 1: I was in Sambordino County for like five months while
- 8:08Speaker 1: I was going to court and stuff like that. Then
- 8:10Speaker 1: when I got my prison, when I got sentenced, I
- 8:13Speaker 1: went back up to prison.
- 8:14Speaker 2: Jesus man, what for you was like your like, Like
- 8:19Speaker 2: was it being married that like motivated you to stay
- 8:22Speaker 2: out and get your shit together and take the reason.
- 8:24Speaker 1: I've been out for this time? Yes, definitely my wife,
- 8:28Speaker 1: you know what I mean. Like, this is the first
- 8:30Speaker 1: time I got out of prison and checked in, went
- 8:33Speaker 1: to went to the office and checked I usually scount
- 8:37Speaker 1: from the gate, like you know what I mean, You're
- 8:39Speaker 1: just like out like fuck y'all, yeah when you can,
- 8:42Speaker 1: you know what I mean. But this time it's like not,
- 8:45Speaker 1: And I realized how easy it is like to really
- 8:50Speaker 1: get off like you know what I mean, like or
- 8:52Speaker 1: just comply. You know what I'm saying. I don't have
- 8:55Speaker 1: to break in the rules no more because I have
- 8:57Speaker 1: a career and a wife and a ship that like,
- 9:00Speaker 1: you know what I mean, it's worth it.
- 9:01Speaker 2: Have you been wrapping this whole time? Like while you're
- 9:05Speaker 2: mixing it up getting in jail, but going to prison
- 9:07Speaker 2: this whole time, you're.
- 9:08Speaker 1: I've been rapping for four years, you know what I
- 9:10Speaker 1: mean professionally, but.
- 9:12Speaker 2: I just mean in general. Are you always writing raps
- 9:14Speaker 2: like fucking around?
- 9:15Speaker 1: Yeah, but I don't write Okay, it's off the top. Yeah,
- 9:18Speaker 1: I keep up all in my head. But like, yeah,
- 9:19Speaker 1: I've been rapping and making songs for the whole time. Yeah,
- 9:22Speaker 1: since Juvenile Hall.
- 9:23Speaker 2: So what made like you actually get in the studio
- 9:27Speaker 2: and be like, yo, let me fucking see if I
- 9:28Speaker 2: could actually make some show.
- 9:30Speaker 1: One of my one of my older homegirls from the hood,
- 9:32Speaker 1: she was like, browdy, I gotta get you in touch
- 9:36Speaker 1: with my son. He's a promoter at the time, he
- 9:38Speaker 1: was a promoter, my manager up, my manager Ocho. He
- 9:42Speaker 1: was doing big events like throwing pretty much parties, but
- 9:46Speaker 1: their events because they're held that venues or shit like that.
- 9:49Speaker 1: So I was like all right, Like because her, I
- 9:54Speaker 1: trust her word. Like so many people told me like, oh,
- 9:56Speaker 1: I need to introduce you to this person, like you're
- 9:58Speaker 1: hard and blah blah blah. But like everybody that tells
- 10:02Speaker 1: me that, I'm just looking at him like okay, well,
- 10:05Speaker 1: what's stopping you from doing that? Like you know what
- 10:06Speaker 1: I mean, Like you're bullshitting, like I don't believe nothing
- 10:09Speaker 1: nobody says but her. I value her opinion and her word, like,
- 10:14Speaker 1: you know, I trust her. So I was like, all right, bet,
- 10:16Speaker 1: where's he introduced me to? So then when she introduced
- 10:19Speaker 1: me to them, he's all like, bro, you're hard, Like
- 10:23Speaker 1: I got to get you in the studio with my artists.
- 10:25Speaker 1: I was like, all right, let's do it, you know
- 10:27Speaker 1: what I mean. And who's the other artist King most wanted?
- 10:31Speaker 1: At the time, he had like five artists. I think
- 10:33Speaker 1: King most wanted girls, Little dev mcm Raymond Huhim, and
- 10:38Speaker 1: Kater Bandit. So I introduced all the guys, you know
- 10:42Speaker 1: what I mean, and it was like it was a
- 10:45Speaker 1: trip because they're all black, you know what I mean.
- 10:47Speaker 1: I'm Mexican, you know what I mean. But I wrap
- 10:51Speaker 1: like up there with them.
- 10:52Speaker 2: But you also like I feel like you're like if
- 10:55Speaker 2: you were listening to your ship and you didn't see.
- 10:58Speaker 1: What exactly exactly.
- 11:01Speaker 2: Like I see the music video, I see your Mexican guy,
- 11:02Speaker 2: but if I was just listening, I wouldn't even exactly.
- 11:04Speaker 1: So they were like fucking with me heavy, you know
- 11:06Speaker 1: what I mean. From there, it was just like Bam,
- 11:08Speaker 1: we just clicked. I was rolling with them all the time. Yeah,
- 11:10Speaker 1: you know what I mean. So but at that time,
- 11:12Speaker 1: in the beginning stages, like I said, we weren't my
- 11:14Speaker 1: manager wasn't balling yet nothing like we were just like
- 11:18Speaker 1: starting off, you know what I mean. And then I
- 11:21Speaker 1: did a couple of events and then bam, I got busted.
- 11:24Speaker 1: That's into prison. So I did like two years and
- 11:27Speaker 1: shit I got out and then right back up. Yeah
- 11:30Speaker 1: I got out. But by that time they were cracking.
- 11:32Speaker 2: But what they what they busted you for, was it
- 11:34Speaker 2: just like you were wanted, like you had war weapons.
- 11:37Speaker 2: So it was like probation violation firearms. Yeah, that's so
- 11:39Speaker 2: fucking crazy. You can't protect yourself in LA or Cali, doc,
- 11:43Speaker 2: Yeah you can't. They make it impossible for you to
- 11:46Speaker 2: get a fucking gun out of here, even if you
- 11:47Speaker 2: ain't got priors. It's like you gotta jump through hoops.
- 11:51Speaker 2: That's why I mean, I never got my California license,
- 11:54Speaker 2: have my Arizona license. So they get pulled over. Ah,
- 11:57Speaker 2: I didn't know I'm here visiting.
- 11:59Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, right, that's good luck with that. Well, you
- 12:04Speaker 1: might have a better chance than I was.
- 12:07Speaker 2: Yeah, fair enough. This guy's got priors. Yeah, that's what's up. Man.
- 12:13Speaker 2: So you get out and you get right back to
- 12:15Speaker 2: the rapping shit. You're married, no, but.
- 12:18Speaker 1: Yeah, see this time when I got out, the label
- 12:21Speaker 1: was popping, you know, the label that we started off with,
- 12:24Speaker 1: like it was every artist had over a million views.
- 12:28Speaker 1: That we have money, you know. So my managers like,
- 12:30Speaker 1: don't trip, like, just keep making flows and when you
- 12:33Speaker 1: get out, I'm gonna have a deal for you. I
- 12:35Speaker 1: was like, all right, bet you know, because him being
- 12:37Speaker 1: my older homegirl son, I trust his word, you know
- 12:41Speaker 1: what I mean. I value his word just.
- 12:42Speaker 2: Like talking about was his mom.
- 12:45Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, that's my nick though, Like that's my real
- 12:48Speaker 1: like homegirl, like I have a lot of love and
- 12:51Speaker 1: respect for you know what I mean. So when he
- 12:55Speaker 1: told me that, I'm taking that as I'm gonna take
- 12:57Speaker 1: it at face value. I'm gonna believe what he's saying,
- 12:59Speaker 1: you know what I mean. So I'm prepared, preparing myself
- 13:02Speaker 1: in my mind to get out and have a job,
- 13:04Speaker 1: which is making music, you know what I mean. Yeah,
- 13:06Speaker 1: And sure enough I got out, boom, signed a deal,
- 13:09Speaker 1: got a bag. I was like, man, this is tight.
- 13:12Speaker 2: Do you show the po your record deal, so they
- 13:14Speaker 2: know that you're working. Yeah, but you have to have
- 13:16Speaker 2: a job.
- 13:17Speaker 1: They ask for the W two's and ship like that.
- 13:19Speaker 2: Yeah, because I know, like a lot of artists have
- 13:21Speaker 2: a hard time, like if they're like like trying to
- 13:23Speaker 2: like just make music, Like, well, that's not a job
- 13:25Speaker 2: if you ain't.
- 13:25Speaker 1: Making money exactly. If they're not signed, it's probably a
- 13:28Speaker 1: little more difficult to You got to jump through to them, yeah,
- 13:31Speaker 1: you know what I mean.
- 13:32Speaker 2: Or go fucking get a fake job somewhere. Yeah. Now
- 13:36Speaker 2: you'll work at my Homei's furniture store, you know what
- 13:37Speaker 2: I'm saying, Sign some paperwork. Yeah.
- 13:39Speaker 1: But you see, even then, like I would roof with
- 13:42Speaker 1: my brother just to help him out because he has
- 13:45Speaker 1: his own roofing company. He's younger than me, you know
- 13:47Speaker 1: what I mean. So I'm not no stranger to hard
- 13:51Speaker 1: labor or nothing like that, you know what I mean.
- 13:53Speaker 2: You could throw a roof on the house if you
- 13:54Speaker 2: need to.
- 13:54Speaker 1: Hell, yeah, a nice one, some shingles.
- 13:56Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, hey man, that's fucking during the summertime.
- 14:00Speaker 1: You don't even know, bro we roofed one time through
- 14:02Speaker 1: a heat wave.
- 14:04Speaker 2: Well, and you guys are like closer that way, which
- 14:06Speaker 2: is hotter. Yeah, because I'm from Arizona, So like, motherfucker's
- 14:09Speaker 2: be doing roofing in one twenty degree weather. I don't
- 14:12Speaker 2: know how they like the people who like say very
- 14:15Speaker 2: hydra shit, I'm like, dude, that's it's hard. Yeah for sure.
- 14:19Speaker 1: When we were roofing through the heat wave, it was
- 14:21Speaker 1: like one fourteen, one thirteen, and I was literally feeling
- 14:25Speaker 1: like because me and my brother, like, we get on
- 14:26Speaker 1: each other's bumper, Like, you know, if I see him
- 14:28Speaker 1: sitting down, get up, bitch, what you're doing? You know
- 14:31Speaker 1: what I mean? He'll do the same with me. If
- 14:33Speaker 1: he sees me taking a smoke, rape with my smoke,
- 14:36Speaker 1: break with my vapor, She'll be like, what's up for?
- 14:39Speaker 1: What are you doing? Like do something? You know what
- 14:41Speaker 1: I mean. We get on each other. So, but that
- 14:43Speaker 1: day during the heat wave, ill was feeling. I was like, man,
- 14:46Speaker 1: fuck you, I'm taking a break, don't right, I'm about
- 14:49Speaker 1: to fall off the road.
- 14:50Speaker 2: Fucking uh. What do they call him? What do they
- 14:51Speaker 2: call him when you dive from heat? Hard?
- 14:54Speaker 1: The aujation?
- 14:56Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, the idation. Yeah, So so I saw
- 15:01Speaker 2: that you had because yeah, like I said, I'm from Arizona,
- 15:04Speaker 2: and we were like the meth capital and you had
- 15:06Speaker 2: your struggles with with doing How long were you tweaking?
- 15:12Speaker 1: My whole childhood, like my teens, my teens.
- 15:16Speaker 2: I was it was like a serious like problem.
- 15:18Speaker 1: Yeah, I was crazy.
- 15:19Speaker 2: Were you smoking it? Were you sniffing it?
- 15:21Speaker 1: Smoking it?
- 15:22Speaker 2: Did you ever get to the point because like all
- 15:24Speaker 2: of my family at some point in time has done
- 15:26Speaker 2: meth or had serious issues with meth. And my uncle
- 15:31Speaker 2: he used to get so tweaked out that he'd go
- 15:35Speaker 2: in our bathroom and like pick his face because he
- 15:38Speaker 2: thought there was bugs and shit in his fucking face.
- 15:40Speaker 2: Like this motherfucker would be gad up. Did you ever
- 15:44Speaker 2: like have like we ever felt like it was like
- 15:46Speaker 2: bugs or some ship in your fucking skin? Would you
- 15:47Speaker 2: get that feeling? Now? This motherfucker was tweaking? Yeah, well
- 15:52Speaker 2: in Arizona called tweaking.
- 15:53Speaker 1: Yeah, for sure, he was sweaking.
- 15:55Speaker 2: Yeah. So because because because it's interesting, because it's almost
- 15:59Speaker 2: like if you get used to that lifestyle, you're like,
- 16:03Speaker 2: you know, you stay up how many days even.
- 16:06Speaker 1: Now even now like uh like now that I'm sober,
- 16:10Speaker 1: I still stay up late and sleep during the day
- 16:13Speaker 1: like more right, I mean, but that also coincides with
- 16:17Speaker 1: the rap the music lifestyle for sure. But yeah, like
- 16:20Speaker 1: that's just a part of me now, Like you know,
- 16:22Speaker 1: I'm an I'm like, I'm more of a night person.
- 16:25Speaker 2: What's been like the sickest beings you've been on? Where
- 16:27Speaker 2: you were up? Like, like how many days.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Cool in it? Bro? Like at least a week or two?
- 16:33Speaker 2: Jesus, what the fuck do you do? Dog?
- 16:35Speaker 1: You just like but see at that time, I was
- 16:37Speaker 1: just I was being crazy. I was gang banging. Yeah
- 16:40Speaker 1: you know what I mean.
- 16:41Speaker 2: Yeah, my cousin Sheldon, big math guy as well, and
- 16:44Speaker 2: that he's uh, you know, he's in prison.
- 16:48Speaker 1: That's why now that I'm rapping and I got all
- 16:50Speaker 1: these like avenues that I can explore, you know, people
- 16:55Speaker 1: want to help me out. I want to start foundations,
- 16:58Speaker 1: like you know, if you're if you're gonna people are
- 17:00Speaker 1: gonna help me out. I'm going to use that to
- 17:01Speaker 1: help other people give back, yeah you know what I mean.
- 17:03Speaker 1: So I'm gonna definitely start a foundation for first for
- 17:07Speaker 1: the kids that are like delinquents. Yeah, I mean, it's
- 17:09Speaker 1: gonna be Rowdy's kids. I'm gonna try to give them
- 17:12Speaker 1: programs like to where they could do them board, So
- 17:15Speaker 1: just any type of extracurricular activities where they could get
- 17:19Speaker 1: their mind off of whatever's troubling them to be they can.
- 17:22Speaker 2: Give them something to do. I think most kids get
- 17:23Speaker 2: in trouble because they're bored.
- 17:24Speaker 1: Man, Yeah, definitely. And not only that, they're bored and
- 17:27Speaker 1: they have things that are that are affecting them, like
- 17:32Speaker 1: subconsciously where you know, there's problems at home, but they
- 17:36Speaker 1: don't really deal with the problems.
- 17:38Speaker 2: Because their kids they also don't want to be at home.
- 17:40Speaker 1: Yeah, they don't know how to deal with their problems, right,
- 17:42Speaker 1: so they take it and they ignore it. But really
- 17:45Speaker 1: they're as they're ignoring it, it's transferring into negative energy
- 17:49Speaker 1: and they're not understanding, you know what I mean. So
- 17:51Speaker 1: I'm gonna try to help the kids out first, you know.
- 17:52Speaker 1: Then after that, I'm gonna start a foundation for drugs
- 17:55Speaker 1: and rehabilitation.
- 17:56Speaker 2: Yeah. I think like it sucks that, like we treat
- 17:58Speaker 2: addicts like second classes and sometimes yeah, and it's like, man.
- 18:02Speaker 1: But at the same time, you got to understand, like
- 18:05Speaker 1: for the people who don't use, it's like what the fuck, Like,
- 18:08Speaker 1: you know, this guy's obviously heavily under the influence, right.
- 18:12Speaker 1: You can't expect them to trust you. You can't expect
- 18:14Speaker 1: them to trust you with your with their finances, or
- 18:17Speaker 1: with their property or like with nothing. Trust me. I
- 18:21Speaker 1: know you're making if.
- 18:22Speaker 2: Someone's if someone's off that he knows his parents have
- 18:25Speaker 2: their issues.
- 18:25Speaker 1: You're making yourself. You're giving, You're putting that image on yourself.
- 18:28Speaker 2: You know for sure. Bro, my cousin, one of my
- 18:31Speaker 2: closest cousins in my life shot my cousin matt uh.
- 18:35Speaker 1: Bro.
- 18:35Speaker 2: This motherfucker robbed our crib in the middle of the night,
- 18:38Speaker 2: like while we were sleep. This will stole my jerseys,
- 18:41Speaker 2: took ship from my stole my dad's guns, all kinds
- 18:44Speaker 2: of shit dog just to hawk it off to get
- 18:46Speaker 2: some more fucking meth. She's crazy, motherfuckers. It's so crazy,
- 18:50Speaker 2: and it's it's interesting because you're applying. I always say this,
- 18:54Speaker 2: if if drug addicts put the effort in that they put.
- 18:59Speaker 1: Into something to get.
- 19:01Speaker 2: Drugs, Yeah, and they actually put that effort into something productive,
- 19:04Speaker 2: Oh my god, because motherfuckers will jump through hoops, they'll
- 19:07Speaker 2: stab their family in the back.
- 19:08Speaker 1: Crackheads. Hustle is windows unmatched. But honestly, I don't think.
- 19:16Speaker 1: I don't think there's no excuse for that type of
- 19:19Speaker 1: behavior because like, even though I had problems with drugs
- 19:22Speaker 1: and I was addicted, I never robbed under my people
- 19:24Speaker 1: or stole for my grandma's purse or none of that
- 19:26Speaker 1: type of shit. Like I never stole for my family.
- 19:29Speaker 2: That's important. Did you have you ever been in a
- 19:31Speaker 2: parking lot at like a grocery store and someone saw
- 19:33Speaker 2: you at a DT on your car and some tweaker
- 19:35Speaker 2: pops out, like, Yo, I can fit your debt, bro,
- 19:37Speaker 2: you know what I'm talking about, rights, iris and fools. Yo,
- 19:39Speaker 2: I could fix the debt right now. You got thirty bucks.
- 19:41Speaker 1: I got foods that could do anything. Bro, you have
- 19:44Speaker 1: they'll hook up your cable. I got foods that'll do anything.
- 19:47Speaker 1: But like I'm saying, though, like I never stole from
- 19:51Speaker 1: my people, like I've never people can always trust me
- 19:54Speaker 1: with whatever, like you know what I mean, Like I'll
- 19:56Speaker 1: never go in their bag and take something like that's out,
- 20:00Speaker 1: you know what I mean.
- 20:00Speaker 2: So yeah, I think it's important to be like, you know,
- 20:03Speaker 2: a little empathetic towards people who do have addiction problems
- 20:05Speaker 2: because the end of the day, there's a sickness.
- 20:07Speaker 1: Yeah, it's not THEMN, it's the addiction. But you can't. Yeah,
- 20:12Speaker 1: you gotta be empathetic, but you can't be that judgmental.
- 20:16Speaker 1: But it's also you can't be stupid, you know what
- 20:18Speaker 1: I mean?
- 20:19Speaker 2: Don't Yeah. I always say like you have to give
- 20:21Speaker 2: people like like people like, you can't force someone to
- 20:25Speaker 2: be cleaned. They have to come to that conclusion on
- 20:27Speaker 2: their own and then be there for when they comes.
- 20:29Speaker 1: Timing is definitely God's time.
- 20:31Speaker 2: Once they hear rock bottom, then pick up the call.
- 20:32Speaker 2: But you otherwise you're just enabling them, like oh yeah,
- 20:35Speaker 2: sleep tonight, Yeah, go ahead, Yeah, yeah, No, you're just
- 20:38Speaker 2: enabling for sure.
- 20:39Speaker 1: Man.
- 20:40Speaker 2: That So what was it like growing up you're in
- 20:42Speaker 2: the Pointe? What was that? Obviously for people who don't
- 20:45Speaker 2: know that's the SGV, What was it like growing up
- 20:47Speaker 2: in that area?
- 20:49Speaker 1: Shit? It was crazy, Like you know what I mean,
- 20:51Speaker 1: it's crazy, especially in point they were. My whole city
- 20:57Speaker 1: is ran by one gang. You know. It's not like
- 20:59Speaker 1: there's a multiple gangs in the city. It's all the
- 21:01Speaker 1: same gang. It's plinty, you know what I mean. But
- 21:04Speaker 1: there's different clicks. So it's like we go at it
- 21:07Speaker 1: with all the cities around us, and we go at it.
- 21:10Speaker 2: With each other.
- 21:11Speaker 1: Yeah, so that's why it's like growing up at point
- 21:14Speaker 1: it was crazy, like you know what I mean, what
- 21:15Speaker 1: team are you want? Mm hmm, straight up? You know
- 21:19Speaker 1: what I'm saying.
- 21:19Speaker 2: That's crazy. Yeah, No, it's it's definitely like I feel
- 21:23Speaker 2: like the outskirts of like La, whether it's San Bernardino
- 21:27Speaker 2: or Riverside or the SGV or even like over here
- 21:31Speaker 2: on this side, like the you know, the San Fernando Valley,
- 21:34Speaker 2: like it's always it's kind of forgotten, you know what
- 21:38Speaker 2: I'm saying, And it's dope to see.
- 21:40Speaker 1: It's not.
- 21:41Speaker 2: I just had ybe up here, who's from the st Yeah,
- 21:44Speaker 2: and he was shotting you out.
- 21:45Speaker 1: That's a good dude right there, super good dude.
- 21:47Speaker 2: And he been doing this thing for a long time.
- 21:49Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 21:49Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 21:50Speaker 1: When I was younger, one of my hombies, also Vicious,
- 21:53Speaker 1: used to wrap with them, so I know him for
- 21:54Speaker 1: a cool minute.
- 21:55Speaker 2: For sure.
- 21:55Speaker 1: He's been a pretty cool dude.
- 21:58Speaker 2: What was it? I saw you because I had heard
- 22:01Speaker 2: you and I saw you in a Lefties interview that
- 22:04Speaker 2: you did together with Icon because I know you guys
- 22:08Speaker 2: had issues, But I mean it feels like there's a
- 22:09Speaker 2: lot of positive energy coming out of your area. Obviously. Yeah,
- 22:14Speaker 2: how important you think it was for you guys to
- 22:16Speaker 2: kind of put whatever issues you had behind you and
- 22:18Speaker 2: at the very least have like a.
- 22:19Speaker 1: I think it was important just to show that, like,
- 22:22Speaker 1: you know, the media or you know, the drama that
- 22:27Speaker 1: people want to see doesn't control us, you know what
- 22:30Speaker 1: I mean. Like, I'm not gonna go at it with
- 22:32Speaker 1: this dude just because you guys want to see that happen,
- 22:35Speaker 1: you know what I mean. I'm gonna do exactly what
- 22:37Speaker 1: you guys don't think I'm gonna do, just to show
- 22:40Speaker 1: that that has no control over me, you know what
- 22:43Speaker 1: I mean.
- 22:43Speaker 2: Yeah, Like you're not going to crash out because the
- 22:45Speaker 2: internet wants you to exactly.
- 22:47Speaker 1: Nah, that's not me at all, you know what I mean.
- 22:49Speaker 1: If I'm going to crash for somebody, it's gonna be
- 22:51Speaker 1: for a reason, you know what I mean. It's gonna
- 22:53Speaker 1: be like, I don't do that shit for no reason,
- 22:56Speaker 1: you know what I mean, Because I did. I take
- 22:57Speaker 1: it very seriously, you know what I mean. So if
- 22:59Speaker 1: I'm gonna take it there, it's gonna be very serious,
- 23:02Speaker 1: and it's gonna be for a reason. It's not gonna
- 23:04Speaker 1: be for no reason. I'm not no dummy.
- 23:05Speaker 2: Yeah, what I tell you guys, maybe teasing the idea,
- 23:09Speaker 2: maybe doing some more music together. Is that something you guys,
- 23:12Speaker 2: Would you guys ever do like a fucking EP or
- 23:13Speaker 2: LP or something like that little joint project.
- 23:17Speaker 1: I mean, I'll be open to doing it, yeah, but
- 23:20Speaker 1: there's always things that are, yeah, you know what I mean,
- 23:24Speaker 1: coming up that need to be taken care of first
- 23:26Speaker 1: and foremost.
- 23:27Speaker 2: Plus, you're fucking dropping hell of music. I feel like
- 23:30Speaker 2: you're super active.
- 23:31Speaker 1: Bro, and you don't even know I to you feel
- 23:34Speaker 1: like I'm dropping hell of music. I feel like we're
- 23:37Speaker 1: going so slow when it comes to dropping music because
- 23:40Speaker 1: I have so much music in the world.
- 23:42Speaker 2: How much music you're sitting.
- 23:43Speaker 1: On at least like fifty sixty songs, wow, with at
- 23:48Speaker 1: least like twenty or thirty really sick features on them?
- 23:54Speaker 2: Which feature that isn't outter you most excited about? For
- 23:57Speaker 2: the people that.
- 24:00Speaker 1: There's a lot of them that I'm really excited about.
- 24:02Speaker 1: I got some I got a few songs with Zoel Sama.
- 24:06Speaker 1: I got a lot of different features that I'm excited about.
- 24:08Speaker 1: But the number one feature and I'm really excited about
- 24:11Speaker 1: is one with me and Joe Moses who shot to
- 24:13Speaker 1: jail Man as a couple other really big artists on
- 24:16Speaker 1: there that are that's gonna shot the world fire.
- 24:20Speaker 2: Joe's dope.
- 24:21Speaker 1: Joe's a great dude.
- 24:23Speaker 2: He's out here coaching kids too. He's got the football
- 24:26Speaker 2: league going.
- 24:26Speaker 1: That's the homie right there. Shot.
- 24:28Speaker 2: Did he give you some shoes? Yeah, he's got his
- 24:30Speaker 2: band shoes.
- 24:31Speaker 1: I got a pair of those.
- 24:33Speaker 2: Last time I interviewed Joe Moses, he brought me like
- 24:35Speaker 2: blue bandana shoes and I'm like, cult that quest. I'm like, buddy,
- 24:39Speaker 2: you can't expect me to wear these shoes out.
- 24:44Speaker 1: You can find a fucking outfit to warm.
- 24:46Speaker 2: No, I can't me. I'm not wearing no fucking blue
- 24:49Speaker 2: bandana shoes.
- 24:50Speaker 1: Dog, I got the green ones. He's got his clothing
- 24:55Speaker 1: label for sure that his stuff is really dope. It's
- 24:58Speaker 1: not like just sure it to a writing on them
- 25:01Speaker 1: like you know what I mean?
- 25:02Speaker 2: They have.
- 25:03Speaker 1: It's nice, nice shit. I like his uh Colonial brown
- 25:06Speaker 1: for sure.
- 25:07Speaker 2: It's interesting because I feel like, uh, the type of
- 25:11Speaker 2: music you make is extremely it in theory should be
- 25:17Speaker 2: extremely well accepted in Northern California, and there's all these
- 25:24Speaker 2: narratives out there about like the Noortagno's and the South Siders,
- 25:27Speaker 2: and it's kind of turned into like Mexicans from La
- 25:30Speaker 2: and Mexicans from the Bay not even working with each
- 25:32Speaker 2: other just because of where they're from. Is that something
- 25:35Speaker 2: you're conscious of, because I feel like you would pop
- 25:37Speaker 2: the fuck off in the Bay because you're talking that shit.
- 25:40Speaker 1: No, yeah, I get it, you know what I mean.
- 25:42Speaker 1: But I also understand where they're coming from, like like a,
- 25:45Speaker 1: it's too much bad history between us, you know, in
- 25:47Speaker 1: the prison system and stuff like that. I mean, there's
- 25:51Speaker 1: I'm sure there's gonna be an artist that's gonna be
- 25:54Speaker 1: over it. Kind of like how I am, Like, I'm
- 25:58Speaker 1: open to work in any open to working with anybody
- 26:01Speaker 1: who's not a PC, who's not an s m Y
- 26:03Speaker 1: if they're willing to sees protective protective custody s and
- 26:08Speaker 1: Y is specially special needs yard. You know what I mean?
- 26:11Speaker 2: What does that mean?
- 26:12Speaker 1: It's pretty much like protective custody. If you have special needs,
- 26:15Speaker 1: you can't be in a general population.
- 26:17Speaker 2: So if someone's autistic, you won't work with it.
- 26:19Speaker 1: It's not that that's just the nice way of saying
- 26:23Speaker 1: special needs pedophile.
- 26:24Speaker 2: Yeah, you know what I mean, Like, if they're on
- 26:27Speaker 2: the regular yard, they're gonna get fucking.
- 26:29Speaker 1: Whacked, you know what I mean. So, but so, if
- 26:32Speaker 1: there's anybody like Northerner or not, like you know what
- 26:34Speaker 1: I mean, if they're willing to do music with me
- 26:37Speaker 1: and on a respectful level, then I'm willing to do You.
- 26:40Speaker 2: Think it's important man, to bridge that because at the
- 26:43Speaker 2: end of the day, it's like, man, there's so many
- 26:45Speaker 2: dope artists like I would love to hear you want
- 26:46Speaker 2: some shit with like Burner. I think that should be
- 26:48Speaker 2: crazy just talking some ill fly ship.
- 26:51Speaker 1: That's you could count on that that's gonna happen.
- 26:56Speaker 2: Has already happened, Okay, because the way he said it,
- 26:58Speaker 2: it's like you could count on that.
- 27:00Speaker 1: Yeah, somebody's fucking that up for me right now.
- 27:02Speaker 2: That'd be crazy. You a Burner, Yeah, That's what I'm saying.
- 27:05Speaker 2: It's like, bro, like the Bay in la is like
- 27:07Speaker 2: I feel like, at least on like the other side
- 27:11Speaker 2: of hip hop, there's a lot of cohesive energy, you
- 27:14Speaker 2: know what I'm saying. Yeah, And I feel like if
- 27:16Speaker 2: the Latinos could get it.
- 27:18Speaker 1: Trip out on a lot of my comments, like my
- 27:20Speaker 1: videos and ship, they say like you know much love
- 27:23Speaker 1: from up North, or like rowdy, you're hard, you know
- 27:26Speaker 1: what I mean? Like a lot of Northerners be be
- 27:28Speaker 1: tapping in with me and that's fire man. Yeah, not
- 27:31Speaker 1: not any Northerner artists yet, but I think that has
- 27:35Speaker 1: to do with a lot of the bullshit that's going on.
- 27:37Speaker 2: Like like even like a guy like Pilo, like I
- 27:38Speaker 2: feel like you on a plo bet would go fucking crazy.
- 27:41Speaker 1: See I don't know who that is.
- 27:42Speaker 2: He's Asian, Asian, he's Filipino. He's huge, huge, Yeah, No,
- 27:47Speaker 2: he's cracking for sure. Yeah, even like you bro you
- 27:51Speaker 2: and like fucking forty would be crazier to hell. Yeah,
- 27:55Speaker 2: that ship would go hard. So are you're just gonna
- 27:57Speaker 2: be putting out singles? You're gonna be doing an album?
- 27:59Speaker 2: What's on the way?
- 28:00Speaker 1: No? I got a couple of projects coming out, a
- 28:03Speaker 1: mixtape and then an album.
- 28:05Speaker 2: Yeah okay when.
- 28:06Speaker 1: Then okay, that's just that's me personally, mixtape with then
- 28:10Speaker 1: the album. But I also have a few mixtape with
- 28:12Speaker 1: other artists like collapse projects, like I have one with
- 28:15Speaker 1: Joe Moses, I have one with zol Sama. I'm gonna
- 28:18Speaker 1: have one with coming out with Avenue Champ. I'm when
- 28:21Speaker 1: I have one coming out with a bunch of different artists.
