Latest / Solomonster Sounds Off / WWE Smackdown 9/19/25 Review | Brock Lesnar DESTROYS COREY GRAVES Before Wrestlepalooza!
Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Well, finally Wressell Palooza is upon us. We won't have
- 0:03Speaker 1: to hear the name Wreussell Palooza after tomorrow, the kickoff
- 0:07Speaker 1: of the ESPN Era. In case you didn't know, I
- 0:10Speaker 1: don't know how you would not know if you would
- 0:13Speaker 1: have watched this show tonight. They made that very clear.
- 0:17Speaker 1: You know. I have to say as I was watching
- 0:19Speaker 1: this conclusion to this episode of smack though, which was
- 0:24Speaker 1: not a terrible show. It was a solid enough go
- 0:27Speaker 1: home show. But there's a pattern that is developing here.
- 0:31Speaker 1: Where would this show be if it wasn't for the
- 0:34Speaker 1: Sammy's A and US Title Open Challenge matches? Like if
- 0:39Speaker 1: you take those matches out of the equation and you
- 0:41Speaker 1: look at SmackDown, like fucking yikes. Seriously, where would this
- 0:46Speaker 1: show be without those matches? Because those matches have become
- 0:49Speaker 1: the highlight of SmackDown ever since they started. So I
- 0:53Speaker 1: don't know what that says about the rest of the show,
- 0:56Speaker 1: but thank god we at least have that. What we
- 0:59Speaker 1: had in the the closing segment tonight was Cody Rhodes
- 1:02Speaker 1: and Drew McIntyre. They are wrestling for the WWE Championship tomorrow.
- 1:06Speaker 1: We now know that will be the main event of
- 1:08Speaker 1: the show. They are closing the show with the WWE
- 1:11Speaker 1: title match. That is the belief. We certainly know what
- 1:14Speaker 1: match is not closing the show. We know John Cena
- 1:17Speaker 1: and Brock Lesner are opening the show. They did confirm that. Well,
- 1:20Speaker 1: we had a contract signing with Cody and Drew, and
- 1:23Speaker 1: we haven't really had a whole lot of interaction between
- 1:25Speaker 1: the two of them because Cody was gone. He was away,
- 1:28Speaker 1: he was filming Street Fighter as Roman Reigns is right now.
- 1:32Speaker 1: He's gone, he's filming. So in terms of the build
- 1:35Speaker 1: up to this WWE title batge, we really haven't gotten
- 1:38Speaker 1: a whole hell of a lot, right McIntyre Cody into
- 1:41Speaker 1: the announced desk that was over a month ago, Cody vanished,
- 1:45Speaker 1: Cody came back, We got a contract signing, and when
- 1:48Speaker 1: it was over, the champion was left laying, the challenger
- 1:52Speaker 1: was standing tall. Probably doesn't bode well for Drew McIntyre.
- 1:56Speaker 1: But I have to say, if they are closing the
- 1:59Speaker 1: show with Cody Roads and Drew McIntyre tomorrow, they have
- 2:02Speaker 1: to do something big, and the biggest thing that you
- 2:06Speaker 1: could do would be to put the WWE Championship on
- 2:10Speaker 1: Drew McIntyre. But I just can't. I just don't see it.
- 2:13Speaker 1: I don't see it. Cody is defending his title for
- 2:16Speaker 1: the first time since winning it back at Summer Slim.
- 2:20Speaker 1: This is his first title defense since beating John Cena,
- 2:24Speaker 1: and they're just gonna take the championship away from him.
- 2:28Speaker 1: I would certainly consider doing it, I just can't. I
- 2:31Speaker 1: can't see them doing it. But if this is going
- 2:34Speaker 1: to be the main event of the show, something big
- 2:36Speaker 1: has to happen. Does that involve Randy Orton? Are we
- 2:40Speaker 1: gonna get a Randy Orton heel turn at the end
- 2:42Speaker 1: of Russell Palooza tomorrow? That would certainly be a big development.
- 2:46Speaker 1: But I just can't see this being the main event
- 2:48Speaker 1: and then doing just the you know, Cody beats Drew, right,
- 2:51Speaker 1: how fucking lame would that be, or just doing some
- 2:54Speaker 1: sort of nonsensical finish without there being some kind of
- 2:58Speaker 1: big angle that they do to close that show. But
- 3:02Speaker 1: they were in the closing segment on tonight's show, brock Lesner,
- 3:05Speaker 1: as he willed tomorrow, he opened the show and he
- 3:09Speaker 1: wreaked all kinds of havoc in the opening segment leaving
- 3:15Speaker 1: an announcer lay. He was attacking the announcers tonight, which
- 3:19Speaker 1: is a very interesting way of building up his match
- 3:21Speaker 1: here with John Cena, and the closest thing to any
- 3:24Speaker 1: sort of explanation, and it's not really an explanation, but
- 3:28Speaker 1: it's the closest thing to cling to as far as
- 3:30Speaker 1: why he has been attacking John Cena. Actually came later
- 3:34Speaker 1: on in a video package where we got a little
- 3:37Speaker 1: snippet from Brock talking about how John is on this
- 3:40Speaker 1: stage phony retirement tour and I'm gonna fuck it all up.
- 3:45Speaker 1: That's the closest thing to an explanation that we've gotten
- 3:47Speaker 1: of why Brock lesnar shows now after two years to
- 3:51Speaker 1: come back and go after John Cena. Of course, John
- 3:54Speaker 1: Cena was not on the show tonight because he is
- 3:57Speaker 1: done with SmackDown. We will not see him on SmackDown
- 4:00Speaker 1: ever again here for the duration of his retirement tour.
- 4:06Speaker 1: We did have another entry in the US Title Open Challenge,
- 4:09Speaker 1: thank god, because without it, my God, this show would
- 4:12Speaker 1: have sucked. Samy' zaining defending the championship against Carmelo Hayes,
- 4:17Speaker 1: another very good match. We had the women's tag team
- 4:19Speaker 1: titles on the line as well, which wasn't so good.
- 4:23Speaker 1: It was fine, it was decent. It really wasn't anything special,
- 4:27Speaker 1: and that's a great way to describe this episode of SmackDown,
- 4:30Speaker 1: not really anything special. They did the hard sell for
- 4:33Speaker 1: the things they had to do the hard sell for.
- 4:35Speaker 1: But the two key matches that they built up on
- 4:37Speaker 1: this show, if you really think about the way they've
- 4:39Speaker 1: built those matches up, has left a lot to be desired.
- 4:43Speaker 1: And the best built match on this entire pl tomorrow
- 4:47Speaker 1: involves a woman who has not wrestled in ten years.
- 4:52Speaker 1: That mixed tag match with see I'm Punk and aj
- 4:54Speaker 1: Lee against Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch is the best
- 4:57Speaker 1: built match on that pl tomorrow. The two key matches
- 5:01Speaker 1: on SmackDown, they've done the bare minimum of what they
- 5:05Speaker 1: could do. Some people weren't available, whatever the case may be,
- 5:10Speaker 1: but here we are and it is still a five
- 5:12Speaker 1: match card. There was talk of it being expanded to six.
- 5:15Speaker 1: In fact, there was a Women's Championship triple threat match
- 5:19Speaker 1: that was listed apparently on some of the t shirts
- 5:21Speaker 1: for the show. Plans change, and it has nothing to
- 5:26Speaker 1: do with an injury. We'll talk about that as well.
- 5:29Speaker 1: This is your Friday Night SmackDown review. It is September nineteenth,
- 5:33Speaker 1: twenty twenty five. I am the Solemn Monster. Thank you
- 5:37Speaker 1: for hanging out with me here on a Friday night.
- 5:40Speaker 1: Do me a favor like and subscribe. Super chats are
- 5:43Speaker 1: open as well. We have a little goal going in
- 5:46Speaker 1: the chat. You will see they will be triggered on
- 5:49Speaker 1: screen as they come in. Hey, the Bubba Fetts in
- 5:53Speaker 1: the chat has the right idea. I've heard from a
- 5:55Speaker 1: lot of people asking me about the VPN. That's how
- 5:59Speaker 1: I will be tuning into Wrestle Pollouza tomorrow, and I
- 6:01Speaker 1: suggest you do the same, especially if you are someone
- 6:05Speaker 1: who does not have access to ESPN and they're going
- 6:07Speaker 1: to force you to pay thirty bucks for this five
- 6:11Speaker 1: match card tomorrow. Tell you ExpressVPN and Netflix it's all
- 6:16Speaker 1: you need. You got a Netflix account, You're good man.
- 6:20Speaker 1: These PL's are still airing internationally on Netflix in most markets.
- 6:26Speaker 1: So that's what he's doing, he says in the chat.
- 6:28Speaker 1: That's what a lot of you guys should be doing
- 6:30Speaker 1: tomorrow when you tune into Wrestle Palooza. You'll thank me later.
- 6:36Speaker 1: I get those super chats on in I'm going to
- 6:38Speaker 1: be reading your messages and we'll have some fun with that. Also,
- 6:41Speaker 1: I want to mention channel memberships always open. And just
- 6:47Speaker 1: before SmackDown went on the air tonight, I actually got
- 6:50Speaker 1: up a new episode of the lost episodes. This one's
- 6:54Speaker 1: pretty cool. Among the lost episodes of the sound off
- 6:59Speaker 1: is this edition of SI Scoops Live from March twenty fourth,
- 7:04Speaker 1: two thousand and eight, right before WrestleMania twenty four. This
- 7:09Speaker 1: was the old Monday night raw post show that myself
- 7:12Speaker 1: and Noah Mark did for a period of time, and
- 7:16Speaker 1: we have live call ins. We do WrestleMania prediction, some
- 7:19Speaker 1: cool stuff going back and listening to it that is
- 7:22Speaker 1: up right now, just went up tonight. If you are
- 7:25Speaker 1: on the Legends Tier Legends Tier Channel members, you have
- 7:29Speaker 1: access to that almost an hour of that episode of
- 7:32Speaker 1: SE Scoops Live. You want to talk about going back
- 7:35Speaker 1: in the vault. There you go. That's going back in
- 7:38Speaker 1: the vault right there, So go ahead and check that out.
- 7:42Speaker 1: More content to come. Now's a great time to become
- 7:45Speaker 1: a channel member. Let's get into this show. Here they'll
- 7:48Speaker 1: talk about SmackDown. Saidro again, thank you, and we'll be
- 7:51Speaker 1: getting to your message and everybody else is here as
- 7:54Speaker 1: we go along. They opened the show tonight with a
- 7:57Speaker 1: shot of Michael Cole and Corey Graves and Bob Way.
- 8:00Speaker 1: Wade Barrett is scheduled back any week now. Wade Barrett
- 8:05Speaker 1: was only taking two weeks off. He is going to
- 8:08Speaker 1: be back likely. I don't know if he'll be there
- 8:10Speaker 1: at Russell Polluza tomorrow. I think Pat McAfee's going to
- 8:12Speaker 1: be back on the show since it's in Indianapolis. But
- 8:16Speaker 1: by next week I would expect to see Wade Barrett
- 8:19Speaker 1: back on TV. But they opened with Cole and Corey
- 8:22Speaker 1: Graves at ringside announcing that John Cena versus brock Lesner
- 8:26Speaker 1: is going to open the show tomorrow at Russell Palooza.
- 8:31Speaker 1: Cole said that he was supposed to sit down with
- 8:33Speaker 1: Brock for an interview later on, but he was being
- 8:35Speaker 1: told in his ear Tony Kahn was telling him he
- 8:38Speaker 1: relays those messages to Tony Schavani every week. He was
- 8:42Speaker 1: relaying a message that Brock apparently wanted to talk now.
- 8:45Speaker 1: So Cole took his glasses off and he stood up
- 8:48Speaker 1: and he went to go interview brock Lesner. He made
- 8:51Speaker 1: it as far as the isle before Lesner's music hit.
- 8:56Speaker 1: An outcomes Cowboy Brock and he walks down the aisle
- 9:01Speaker 1: and Michael Cole looks like he's about to shit himself.
- 9:07Speaker 1: Terrible dry Chicken says. Wade Barrett and Pat McAfee are
- 9:10Speaker 1: doing commentary on Russell Paloosas there you go. Wade Barrett
- 9:14Speaker 1: will be back according to him tomorrow. I said he's
- 9:20Speaker 1: gonna be back any week now. Yeah, Welfare Queen says,
- 9:25Speaker 1: my mom misses Jacob fa tou Yeah. Where's he been?
- 9:30Speaker 1: I see he's been doing some dark matches. I think
- 9:32Speaker 1: he had a dark match last week against RUSSEV. That's
- 9:35Speaker 1: great and all. Where the fuck is Jacob fa tu boy?
- 9:40Speaker 1: Did they cool him off? Where's he been now? But
- 9:44Speaker 1: we got a vignette tonight with Tongaaloa and Solo Socoa.
- 9:50Speaker 1: It's ridiculous. Brock walks down the aisle. He grabs Michael
- 9:55Speaker 1: Cole like a child and he puts him over his shoulder.
- 10:00Speaker 1: He proceeds then to walk around the ring. He circles
- 10:03Speaker 1: the ringside area with him, walks up the ring steps
- 10:07Speaker 1: and then dumps him into the ring and Brock follows
- 10:11Speaker 1: him into the ring and he had Cole in the corner.
- 10:13Speaker 1: He was threatening to destroy this man. Corey Graves could
- 10:17Speaker 1: take no more. Corey Graves is a man that sticks
- 10:20Speaker 1: up for his friends, and so he puts his headset down.
- 10:23Speaker 1: He gets into the ring and he approaches Brock. This
- 10:26Speaker 1: is like approaching a wild animal, you know, in a zoo.
- 10:29Speaker 1: You're not supposed to get that close. Bad things could happen.
- 10:33Speaker 1: And he's trying to calm down Brock Lesner, which is
- 10:36Speaker 1: a terrible idea. And so for his efforts, Brock grabs Corey,
- 10:40Speaker 1: he picks him up on his shoulders and he delivers
- 10:43Speaker 1: an F five and that is the first bump that
- 10:46Speaker 1: Corey Graves has taken since he retired in was that
- 10:51Speaker 1: eleven years ago? Twenty fourteen? I believe now he's been
- 10:56Speaker 1: medically clear. For those who don't know, Corey Graves is
- 10:59Speaker 1: medically cleared. If you wanted to wrestle, take bumps. He's
- 11:03Speaker 1: been medically cleared for about three years now. He just
- 11:06Speaker 1: chooses not to so every now and then to use
- 11:10Speaker 1: him in an angle like this could be very effective.
- 11:13Speaker 1: So he gets laid out with an F five. The
- 11:16Speaker 1: craft starts chanting for John Cena Lesner grabs the camera
- 11:20Speaker 1: and he begins yelling into it, and he's saying, John,
- 11:24Speaker 1: it's D Day tomorrow. I'm coming for blood. That's as
- 11:31Speaker 1: close to an explanation as we're gonna get. That in
- 11:35Speaker 1: that little little snippet from the interview package later on,
- 11:39Speaker 1: that's about as close to an explanation as we're gonna get.
- 11:43Speaker 1: He wants blood, Brock, he's a vampire. Brock is back
- 11:46Speaker 1: for blood. So after that, he paces around ringside. He
- 11:51Speaker 1: destroys the prime hydration station. I've been waiting for somebody
- 11:55Speaker 1: to do that. Of course he does it. Nobody's gonna
- 11:58Speaker 1: tell him not to. He's throwing shit around, he's picking
- 12:01Speaker 1: up the ring steps, and he sees it in the ring.
- 12:03Speaker 1: A bunch of producers have gotten into the ring to
- 12:05Speaker 1: try to assist Corey. He gets into the ring, he
- 12:08Speaker 1: chases all of them away, and then he picks Graves
- 12:11Speaker 1: back up. He delivers a second F five, and the
- 12:15Speaker 1: crowd was so concerned for Corey Graves, for the welfare
- 12:19Speaker 1: of this man. They begin channing one more time, and Brock,
- 12:24Speaker 1: being the heel, does not oblige. He leaves the ring.
- 12:27Speaker 1: Everybody booze and Brock heads to the back. It was
- 12:31Speaker 1: a hot segment. I'll say that it was a chaotic
- 12:34Speaker 1: way to start the show. It was a different way
- 12:37Speaker 1: to start the show, which I appreciate. You know, when
- 12:39Speaker 1: they deviate from the norm and they do something that
- 12:41Speaker 1: hasn't been done in a while, it's good, right because
- 12:45Speaker 1: they follow the same formula generally week to week. So
- 12:48Speaker 1: I like what they did here in this segment. The chaos.
- 12:51Speaker 1: I don't know that it does much to add to
- 12:54Speaker 1: the match with him and John necessarily, you know, it
- 12:58Speaker 1: just reinforces the idea that this man isn't just like
- 13:00Speaker 1: an uncaged animal, right, He's like a wild beast, and
- 13:04Speaker 1: you don't know what he's capable of, You don't know
- 13:06Speaker 1: what he's you know, how far he's willing to go.
- 13:09Speaker 1: I mean, that was the idea basically that they were
- 13:11Speaker 1: driving home. But this is a match that has not
- 13:14Speaker 1: had any real build. You know, these two obviously have
- 13:16Speaker 1: history together, They've had many matches before, but in terms
- 13:20Speaker 1: of this one, this being their final one, there has
- 13:24Speaker 1: not been much build to speak of here in this match,
- 13:26Speaker 1: and it has been sold purely based off of the
- 13:29Speaker 1: names involved. You know, John Cena has a very limited
- 13:31Speaker 1: number of matches left. Brock Lesner is wrestling his first
- 13:34Speaker 1: match in over two years. They're both big names, and
- 13:39Speaker 1: that's how the match is being sold, and that might
- 13:43Speaker 1: work for some people, it doesn't work for others. There
- 13:46Speaker 1: are some people, I'm sure, who were very excited to
- 13:48Speaker 1: see this match again, and I know there were a
- 13:51Speaker 1: lot of people who are not. Doesn't mean they're not
- 13:53Speaker 1: going to tune in, but it's hard to get overly
- 13:58Speaker 1: excited for a match that either you've seen a bunch
- 14:01Speaker 1: of times before, you know, and now they're a lot older,
- 14:04Speaker 1: or the story that you're looking for just isn't there.
- 14:10Speaker 1: Whether or not this is a match that needs story,
- 14:12Speaker 1: I guess we'll find out, you know, we'll see because
- 14:15Speaker 1: this show has largely been sold off of this match.
- 14:18Speaker 1: You know they're opening the show with it, But for
- 14:20Speaker 1: all intents and purposes, this is the real main event.
- 14:23Speaker 1: You know of Wreussell Palloza. When Joe Tessitor was on
- 14:25Speaker 1: Sports Center a few weeks ago and said, the main
- 14:27Speaker 1: event is John Cena against brock Lesnar. It doesn't matter
- 14:31Speaker 1: where it is on the card, you know it is
- 14:34Speaker 1: it really is that whole show. Look at the posters.
- 14:39Speaker 1: This whole show has really been built around this match.
- 14:42Speaker 1: So but of course they are opening the show with
- 14:43Speaker 1: it so Lesner can get back to Saskatchewan as quickly
- 14:47Speaker 1: as possible. I guarantee you that Lesner that plane is
- 14:50Speaker 1: going to touch down on the tarmac up in Saskatchewan.
- 14:54Speaker 1: The main event will not even be in the ring yet,
- 14:57Speaker 1: Cody and Drew will not even have made their entrances
- 14:59Speaker 1: down to the ring, and Brock will be back home,
- 15:01Speaker 1: safe and sound in Saskatchewan. He is going to get
- 15:05Speaker 1: out of there as quickly as humanly possible. Now, when
- 15:09Speaker 1: they came back from the break, Corey Graves was still
- 15:12Speaker 1: face down in the ring. Producers were checking on him,
- 15:16Speaker 1: Michael Cole pointing out to them. I think he said like, oh,
- 15:20Speaker 1: his neck is starting to swell. I could have sworn
- 15:23Speaker 1: that's what he said. Oh, look, his neck is starting
- 15:25Speaker 1: to starting to swell. He took two face bumps on
- 15:28Speaker 1: the F five, but his neck is starting to swell.
- 15:31Speaker 1: So they cut to the back. Brock is walking and
- 15:33Speaker 1: he stops in his tracks because he sees something, and
- 15:37Speaker 1: he walks over and the camera pans over and what
- 15:39Speaker 1: does he see? He sees his old friend and nemesis
- 15:44Speaker 1: Paul Hayman. It's been a while since these two have
- 15:47Speaker 1: come face to face. So they share a bit of
- 15:51Speaker 1: a tense stare down here. And Hayman was not alone.
- 15:55Speaker 1: He was had bron Breaker and Bronze and Read with him,
- 15:59Speaker 1: so they share you're a tense stare down for a
- 16:01Speaker 1: moment before Lesner tells him we should talk and then
- 16:06Speaker 1: he walks off. Very interesting. So then Nick All this
- 16:11Speaker 1: the general manager of SmackDown. He shows up. He warns
- 16:14Speaker 1: the Vision don't cause any more problems tonight. I don't
- 16:16Speaker 1: know why you're here, but I have a contract signing
- 16:19Speaker 1: later on with Cody and Drew. I don't want anything
- 16:22Speaker 1: messed up. And Hayman assure you. He says, oh, we're
- 16:26Speaker 1: looking for the USOS. Do you know where they are?
- 16:29Speaker 1: And all this says you know, Dan well that they're
- 16:31Speaker 1: not here. And with that, Hayman and the Vision they
- 16:35Speaker 1: left saying we're simply here to enjoy the show. But
- 16:39Speaker 1: that was a very interesting tease there between Lesner and Hayman.
- 16:45Speaker 1: My first thought when I see something like that, Brock
- 16:49Speaker 1: is never going to learn. He's never going to learn
- 16:52Speaker 1: this man has turned on him. Twice in the past,
- 16:58Speaker 1: twice in twenty plus. You would think he would learn
- 17:01Speaker 1: his lesson that this man is not to be trusted,
- 17:03Speaker 1: but evidently he doesn't seem to mind, and he's still
- 17:06Speaker 1: willing to do business with Paul Hayman. What kind of
- 17:09Speaker 1: business though? You know Lesner and Hayman is a duo.
- 17:13Speaker 1: It's just such a natural pairing. If they really did
- 17:17Speaker 1: want to put them back together. And I'm not saying
- 17:19Speaker 1: Brock has to join the Vision, but if you wanted
- 17:22Speaker 1: to put Lesner and Hayman back together, I'm okay with that.
- 17:26Speaker 1: It's a natural pairing, as natural as Undertaker and Paul
- 17:29Speaker 1: Behar were pairing for so many years, right. They just
- 17:33Speaker 1: go so well together. It just makes sense. But my
- 17:36Speaker 1: other thought, of course, ties into what's coming up in
- 17:39Speaker 1: a couple of months, which a Survivor series and the
- 17:43Speaker 1: very likely probability that the Vision will be playing a
- 17:46Speaker 1: role in the Men's Wargames match. Now, right now, there's
- 17:49Speaker 1: only three members of the Vision, right seth Rollins, bron Breaker,
- 17:52Speaker 1: Bronson Reid, so they would need some help if it's
- 17:55Speaker 1: four on four, if it's five on five. But if
- 17:58Speaker 1: you assume that they're going to be on the heels
- 18:00Speaker 1: side of a Wargames match. And now we have Hayman
- 18:02Speaker 1: and Lesner are teasing, Oh, we need to talk, right,
- 18:05Speaker 1: We need to have a conversation, a conversation about what
- 18:09Speaker 1: is it possible that Paul Hayman will enlist the services
- 18:12Speaker 1: of Brock Lesner to be joining forces with the Vision
- 18:15Speaker 1: in a Wargames match. Absolutely, I think it's possible. And
- 18:19Speaker 1: if so, I could see Lesner and the Vision on
- 18:22Speaker 1: one side and maybe they need one more person, But
- 18:25Speaker 1: you got that crew, and on the other side of
- 18:27Speaker 1: the ring, you got John Cena, who's never been as Brock,
- 18:30Speaker 1: never been in a Wargames match before. You can have
- 18:33Speaker 1: John Cena, Roman Reigns, cmpunk all on the same team
- 18:40Speaker 1: or John Cena, Roman Reigns and the USOS. Actually, you
- 18:43Speaker 1: know what would be really cool if they could figure
- 18:45Speaker 1: out a way to work someone like Jacob Fatu into
- 18:48Speaker 1: that equation. Again, he has been absent on SmackDown now
- 18:52Speaker 1: for weeks and has been severely cooled off. Now, what
- 18:57Speaker 1: I would like to see is if you're gonna do
- 18:59Speaker 1: something like that works someone like him into the equation,
- 19:03Speaker 1: because you would have bron Breaker and Bronson Reid on
- 19:06Speaker 1: the other side, right, And bron Breker is someone who
- 19:08Speaker 1: people look at as oh the future of WWEE right, Oh,
- 19:11Speaker 1: he's gonna headline multiple WrestleManias. Guess what, so can Jacob Fatu.
- 19:16Speaker 1: He should be worked into that equation as well. How
- 19:19Speaker 1: about a John Cena Roman range Jacob fa Tu team
- 19:23Speaker 1: with one or two other people against Brock and the vision.
- 19:26Speaker 1: I could see that vision, I could get behind that.
- 19:30Speaker 1: That would be an interesting wargames match. So that, I
- 19:34Speaker 1: think is the first tease of what's to come, because
- 19:37Speaker 1: I don't know that we're looking at a full blown
- 19:38Speaker 1: reunion between Lesler and Hayman. But if they're gonna do business,
- 19:41Speaker 1: what else would they be doing business for if it's
- 19:45Speaker 1: not tied into wargames in some way. So that'll be
- 19:47Speaker 1: something very interesting to keep an eye on going forward.
- 19:52Speaker 1: Let's move on here, because back in the arena, Michael
- 19:55Speaker 1: Cole returned to the announced desk. He was at a
- 19:58Speaker 1: loss for words about what happened to his partner. He
- 20:02Speaker 1: said that in the years that he's been on commentary,
- 20:04Speaker 1: he never felt as helpless as he did tonight. Cole said, well,
- 20:09Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know about that. I do recall
- 20:12Speaker 1: a certain segment on this show many years ago where
- 20:14Speaker 1: he was shoved up against the wall by one heiden
- 20:17Speaker 1: Reich where he looked kind of helpless. But you know,
- 20:19Speaker 1: the less said about that, the better. He said that
- 20:22Speaker 1: if that's what awaited John Cena tomorrow, he doesn't know
- 20:25Speaker 1: if even Sina has the answers for brock Lester. Charlotte
- 20:31Speaker 1: Flair and Alexa Bliss were up next. They were defending
- 20:33Speaker 1: the women's tag team titles against Chelsea Green and Alba Fire.
- 20:38Speaker 1: Still no sign of Piper Niven, so whatever is going
- 20:42Speaker 1: on with Piper? She has been mia for several weeks now.
- 20:46Speaker 1: Chelsea took a shot at Alexa in the corner, ended
- 20:49Speaker 1: up eating an elbow from Charlotte. Bliss tagged herself in.
- 20:52Speaker 1: She went to work on Chelsea and Alba. The challengers
- 20:56Speaker 1: ended up with the advantage heading into a commercial break.
- 21:00Speaker 1: Ring In the commercial break, the mizz came down to
- 21:02Speaker 1: ringside to join Michael Cole on commentary and sit in
- 21:06Speaker 1: for Corey Graves for the remainder of the show. So
- 21:09Speaker 1: they returned from the break, Bliss was desperately reaching for
- 21:13Speaker 1: the tag, trying to get that tag she almost got it.
- 21:16Speaker 1: Charlotte got pulled from the apron by Alba, which gave
- 21:19Speaker 1: Chelsea a chance to continue her attack. Chelsea ended up
- 21:22Speaker 1: missing a shoulder tackle. This allowed Bliss to finally get
- 21:26Speaker 1: the hot tag to Charlotte. Charlotte teed off with chops
- 21:30Speaker 1: on both women. She tried to set up for the
- 21:32Speaker 1: figure eight Green, though provided a distraction and ate a
- 21:37Speaker 1: big boot. Alba went for a roll up, could not
- 21:39Speaker 1: get the pin, and as Charlotte headed up top, Chelsea
- 21:42Speaker 1: grabbed her leg, which allowed Alba to connect with the
- 21:45Speaker 1: Swanton bomb. Bliss broke up the pin. Bliss and Flair.
- 21:50Speaker 1: They delivered stereo natural selections to Chelsea and Alba, and
- 21:55Speaker 1: Charlotte got the pin on Chelsea to retain the tag
- 21:58Speaker 1: team titles. Decent little defense here for the champs. They
- 22:03Speaker 1: were also successful on the NXT homecoming show this week.
- 22:08Speaker 1: You know it was fine. Hopefully they can put their
- 22:10Speaker 1: issues with the secret hervists in the rear view. The
- 22:14Speaker 1: challenge now is I mean, they have not established any
- 22:18Speaker 1: other team as the obvious next in line challengers for
- 22:22Speaker 1: Charlotte and Alexa. So the risk you run here is
- 22:26Speaker 1: that if you really have not set anybody else up
- 22:29Speaker 1: as the obvious challengers, and they don't have a story
- 22:32Speaker 1: with somebody else kind of ready and waiting here, you
- 22:35Speaker 1: could end up kind of stalling the momentum that they
- 22:38Speaker 1: have as far as their characters go. I don't know
- 22:42Speaker 1: who's next for them. I really don't. There isn't much
- 22:45Speaker 1: of a division to speak of, and I do think
- 22:48Speaker 1: the pairing has done wonders for Charlotte. But now you
- 22:51Speaker 1: start getting into okay, do they have enough challengers to
- 22:55Speaker 1: work with? And the ones that come to mind would
- 22:58Speaker 1: be the Kabooki Warriors to raw, Oscar and Kyrie. You know,
- 23:02Speaker 1: would they be next in line? Who? Well, I mean,
- 23:05Speaker 1: give me a better option here, Give me a better
- 23:09Speaker 1: especially on SmackDown. Give me a better option. I don't
- 23:12Speaker 1: think there is one right now. In the back, BFAB
- 23:17Speaker 1: was trying to talk to Montese Ford and Angelo Dawkins,
- 23:22Speaker 1: saying that if they want Tag Team Gold, you need
- 23:24Speaker 1: to get past your issues because the street profits that
- 23:27Speaker 1: they've been a little rocky of late. Meechin comes over
- 23:31Speaker 1: and says she and Befab need to go talk to
- 23:33Speaker 1: Nick Aldis about their tag team match next week with
- 23:37Speaker 1: Julia and Keana James. Now I don't remember if she
- 23:39Speaker 1: said we have to go talk to him about the
- 23:42Speaker 1: match with them or about getting a match with them.
- 23:45Speaker 1: Getting a match with them, that would make more sense,
- 23:48Speaker 1: because my first thought was, if you have a match
- 23:51Speaker 1: already with them, what the hell do you need to
- 23:52Speaker 1: go off to talk to Nick All this for. What
- 23:54Speaker 1: were we going to plan. We're going to go over
- 23:56Speaker 1: the rules of the match. So I assume they were
- 23:59Speaker 1: going to talk to him about getting a match against
- 24:01Speaker 1: Julia and Keana for next week. So b Fab believes
- 24:04Speaker 1: the Street Profits alone to talk amongst themselves, Dawkins and Ford.
- 24:09Speaker 1: They bury the hatchet, you know, they shake on it.
- 24:12Speaker 1: Everything seems to be cool. Montes says, I'm going to
- 24:15Speaker 1: go talk to Nick all this about getting us another
- 24:17Speaker 1: shot at the tag team titles. Rinse repeat. How many
- 24:21Speaker 1: times are we going to do this? How many times
- 24:24Speaker 1: are we going to go back to the Street Profits
- 24:26Speaker 1: and the Wyatts? The Wyatts and the Street Profits. I mean,
- 24:28Speaker 1: I know, you know, the Andrade departure, you know, kind
- 24:32Speaker 1: of handicapped them in a way because it was very
- 24:35Speaker 1: likely Androatee and Ray Phoenix would at least be next
- 24:38Speaker 1: in line. I don't know if they would have won
- 24:39Speaker 1: the titles, but they were going to be next in
- 24:41Speaker 1: line at Clash in Paris for a tag team championship match.
- 24:45Speaker 1: Androde being released ruined those plans. That's why they went
- 24:49Speaker 1: back to the Street Profits, and so they're just continuing
- 24:52Speaker 1: with the Street Profits and what was a once very
- 24:57Speaker 1: hot tag team division on Friday Nights has stalled out.
- 25:01Speaker 1: All the teams are still there, Diy, the Motor City
- 25:05Speaker 1: machine Guns, the Wyatts, the Street Profits, Los Garza right
- 25:09Speaker 1: pretty deadly, not so much because Kit Wilson or was
- 25:14Speaker 1: it Elton p Elton Prince maybe has been hurt. All
- 25:17Speaker 1: the teams are still there, but they have stalled out.
- 25:21Speaker 1: Now it's just very cold. But he's going to go
- 25:26Speaker 1: off to see if he could talk to all this
- 25:27Speaker 1: about getting a title match. As soon as he leaves,
- 25:30Speaker 1: Bo Dallas shows up behind Angelo Dawkins and he says
- 25:34Speaker 1: Montes won't listen to him, but I will, so Montes
- 25:38Speaker 1: immediately comes back over very angry. He shoves Bo Dallas
- 25:43Speaker 1: up against the wall. Dallas says that they are lost
- 25:47Speaker 1: souls who need the right path. Eric Rowan shows up
- 25:51Speaker 1: and wax them with his hammer and both Street Profits
- 25:55Speaker 1: end up on the floor. I mean, is anybody excited
- 25:59Speaker 1: about this? Be honest, now, be honest, there's nothing interesting.
- 26:06Speaker 1: There's nothing exciting about this. They have stalled out in
- 26:10Speaker 1: this tag team division and they need to shake things
- 26:13Speaker 1: back up again. I don't know in the near term.
- 26:16Speaker 1: I don't know how you do that. Obviously, they're going
- 26:18Speaker 1: to play the story out with the Profits. It looked
- 26:20Speaker 1: like maybe they were teasing a breakup and now they're
- 26:22Speaker 1: back on the same page. Is Bo Dallas gonna get
- 26:25Speaker 1: a Angelo Dawkins head yet? And maybe there will be
- 26:28Speaker 1: a split with the Profits? I mean that, I guess
- 26:31Speaker 1: is the most interesting aspect of this. Will they or
- 26:34Speaker 1: won't they? I have no expectation that they're going to
- 26:37Speaker 1: win the tag team titles back, and again I don't
- 26:40Speaker 1: know who would be next in line, you know, for
- 26:42Speaker 1: a shot at those titles. They haven't really built anybody
- 26:45Speaker 1: else up as the obvious next challengers. If you're looking
- 26:49Speaker 1: for a Babyface team, I mean, I suppose if you're
- 26:53Speaker 1: gonna go with the Heels, I hate to even say this,
- 26:57Speaker 1: I hate to even say this, but you could always
- 26:59Speaker 1: go with the mft ease. I mean again, I don't.
- 27:03Speaker 1: I don't even want to put that out in the atmosphere.
- 27:06Speaker 1: But I'm just struggling here to see, like as far
- 27:09Speaker 1: as a fresh pair of challengers, you know, who would
- 27:12Speaker 1: be next to the line for the Wyatts, especially on
- 27:15Speaker 1: the babyface side, that would be of any real interest.
- 27:18Speaker 1: And I'm drawing a blank here in the back Our Truth,
- 27:26Speaker 1: which trying to tell people how to watch Wressell Palooza
- 27:30Speaker 1: on the ESPN app. It's confusing enough that they had
- 27:35Speaker 1: they had to have Our Truth in two different segments
- 27:38Speaker 1: on this show. Break it down, I mean, in like
- 27:42Speaker 1: minute detail, where to go, what to click, what to push.
- 27:46Speaker 1: If this is your carrier, if you have Verizon, if
- 27:49Speaker 1: you have Direct TV, if you have you know, like
- 27:52Speaker 1: he was breaking it down, trying to explain to people, Okay,
- 27:56Speaker 1: here's how you can watch the show tomorrow. And so
- 27:59Speaker 1: what he was doing here was explaining it to Los
- 28:01Speaker 1: Garza because apparently they're idiots and they have no idea
- 28:04Speaker 1: how to order this show. And even if you don't
- 28:07Speaker 1: have cable, he said, you can still watch the show now.
- 28:11Speaker 1: Of course, he never said that if you don't have
- 28:13Speaker 1: cable and you don't have ESPN, you have to pay
- 28:15Speaker 1: thirty bucks to see the show. He neglected that. He
- 28:20Speaker 1: didn't mention that this was fucking lame. This was like,
- 28:26Speaker 1: you know what, at least Truth got his job back,
- 28:29Speaker 1: good for him, but this was fucking lame. I mean,
- 28:34Speaker 1: they didn't do themselves any favors on Monday, and then
- 28:36Speaker 1: the lead up to this by constantly saying, Oh, we're
- 28:38Speaker 1: going to ESPN. We're going to ESPN. So now you're
- 28:42Speaker 1: gonna have a bunch of people who think that it's
- 28:43Speaker 1: actually airing on ESPN. It's not. It's not airing on ESPN.
- 28:49Speaker 1: I've had people, you know, in the last week or
- 28:51Speaker 1: so be like, is it on ESPN Plus. I'm like, no, no,
- 28:56Speaker 1: it's not actually, And evidently, like if you go to
- 28:59Speaker 1: ESPN Plus or ESPN dot com, supposedly there's a link
- 29:03Speaker 1: that will take you directly to where you need to go.
- 29:05Speaker 1: But you could see why there would be some confusion
- 29:08Speaker 1: about this. You know, it's actually technically ESPN Unlimited, that's
- 29:12Speaker 1: the service within the app, that's the service that is
- 29:15Speaker 1: airing Wrestle Palooza. But for weeks and weeks, Oh we're
- 29:18Speaker 1: going to ESPN. We're gonna air on ESPN so what
- 29:21Speaker 1: do you think most people are gonna think? And even still,
- 29:24Speaker 1: you're gonna have fans who are going tomorrow going to
- 29:27Speaker 1: put on ESPN thinking they're gonna see John Cena and
- 29:29Speaker 1: Brock Lesner at the top of the hour and they're
- 29:31Speaker 1: gonna get some fucking football game and they're gonna be like,
- 29:34Speaker 1: what the fuck, where's the wrestling show. There's gonna be
- 29:39Speaker 1: some growing pains. I would actually love to know what
- 29:42Speaker 1: the audience is going to be. I don't know if
- 29:43Speaker 1: we're gonna get those numbers. I would love to know
- 29:46Speaker 1: what the actual audience ends up being for this show
- 29:49Speaker 1: and how much they're impacted by just general confusion about
- 29:53Speaker 1: how to get the show. And also keep in mind
- 29:56Speaker 1: that there's a lot of people who will not have
- 29:57Speaker 1: access to it unless they pay because they still have
- 30:00Speaker 1: not reached a deal with Comcast. They have not reached
- 30:03Speaker 1: a deal with YouTube TV, which is what I use
- 30:07Speaker 1: so because they had to rush into this, This was
- 30:09Speaker 1: not supposed to start until April, until WrestleMania, but they
- 30:14Speaker 1: had to get a jump on it. Meanwhile, they never
- 30:16Speaker 1: reached those you know, the carriage agreements with some of
- 30:20Speaker 1: the biggest services out there through which people get their television,
- 30:27Speaker 1: and so until that's rectified, there's going to be people
- 30:29Speaker 1: who are kind of left in the dark who may
- 30:31Speaker 1: not want to pay the thirty bucks. And I don't
- 30:35Speaker 1: see a deal happening with YouTube TV for I'm sure
- 30:38Speaker 1: at some point it'll happen, but it doesn't feel like
- 30:40Speaker 1: anything is imminent, at least not until the end of
- 30:42Speaker 1: the year. Anyway, you could avoid all of that, I'm
- 30:48Speaker 1: telling you, you could avoid all of that by using
- 30:51Speaker 1: your Express VPN and tuning it into Netflix. Right, you
- 30:55Speaker 1: just pick a Canadian server or UK or any of
- 30:58Speaker 1: these places where the PL's still air internationally on Netflix.
- 31:03Speaker 1: It'll be the easiest way to go. Save yourself a
- 31:06Speaker 1: lot of trouble or money well worth it. Fraxium, they
- 31:13Speaker 1: were in the ring for the next match, but they
- 31:15Speaker 1: were attacked by bron Breaker and Bronson Reid, so they
- 31:19Speaker 1: clear the ring and then Paul Hayman shows up to talk.
- 31:24Speaker 1: I don't know, was it me or did Hayman look
- 31:25Speaker 1: like he lost a little bit of weight. I don't know.
- 31:29Speaker 1: He was looking better than he was the last time
- 31:31Speaker 1: we saw him, but yes, Paul Hayman his back as
- 31:34Speaker 1: we saw earlier in the show. This was his first
- 31:37Speaker 1: appearance back on TV since Roman Range choked him out
- 31:42Speaker 1: at what was it Summer Slim? It was Summer Slim? Right,
- 31:47Speaker 1: Wait was Roman a Clash and Power? I don't even
- 31:49Speaker 1: remember now it was Summer Slim, I think, I don't
- 31:53Speaker 1: even remember. Remember he had the throat contusion, that was
- 31:57Speaker 1: his injury. Well he's back now. Maybe it was the
- 32:00Speaker 1: stripes that he was wearing. He had a stripe suit on.
- 32:03Speaker 1: Maybe it made him look a little more, a little slimmer.
- 32:06Speaker 1: So anyway, he was out to talk. He says, Phraxium
- 32:09Speaker 1: reminds him of the USOS down and out. Then he
- 32:13Speaker 1: speaks some Samoan to the USOS and he translates for himself.
- 32:19Speaker 1: As he's talking. Fraser and Axiom they come flying. They're
- 32:22Speaker 1: in opposite corners, and Breaker and Reid have no idea
- 32:26Speaker 1: and they come flying off the ropes and they knock
- 32:28Speaker 1: down Breaker and Reid knock them out of the ring.
- 32:31Speaker 1: They follow with their trademark rapid fire suicide dives to
- 32:36Speaker 1: the outside. That first suicide dive from Axiom, where he
- 32:39Speaker 1: almost went crashing into the announced desk, was very scary.
- 32:43Speaker 1: Nick All this shows up and he makes the predictable
- 32:46Speaker 1: tag team match and we head to a commercial break.
- 32:48Speaker 1: You know, we never did find out who Axiom and
- 32:52Speaker 1: Nathan Fraser were supposed to be wrestling. They came out
- 32:54Speaker 1: for a fucking match against who. I don't know. We
- 32:59Speaker 1: were never told. Maybe it was an open challenge and
- 33:02Speaker 1: they were going to wait for somebody to come out.
- 33:05Speaker 1: I guess we'll never know who they were supposed to wrestle.
- 33:07Speaker 1: But after the break it was bron Breaker and Bronson
- 33:10Speaker 1: Reid against Phraxium. This match was joined already in progress.
- 33:14Speaker 1: Breaker was working over Axium in the corner. Axiom fended
- 33:18Speaker 1: up momentarily fended him off, but he got thrown overhead
- 33:22Speaker 1: instead with a backdrop. Breaker got a full head of speed.
- 33:25Speaker 1: He turned Axiom inside out with a lariat. Reid entered
- 33:30Speaker 1: the fray. He continued to pummel Axiom with a sent on.
- 33:34Speaker 1: Breaker got the tag once more, and he suplexed Axiom
- 33:38Speaker 1: before pulling down the straps. He attempted a spear, he
- 33:42Speaker 1: got met with a calf kick instead. This allowed Fraser
- 33:45Speaker 1: to get the tag. Fraser had red staggered with a
- 33:48Speaker 1: drop kick, and he soared from the top with a
- 33:51Speaker 1: frog splash. Reid kicked out at two. He avoided a
- 33:55Speaker 1: moon salt before dropping Fraser with his death valley driver.
- 33:59Speaker 1: He's been finishing eyes off with this move. He calls
- 34:01Speaker 1: it the jagged edge, only here he didn't go for
- 34:05Speaker 1: the pin. He hits the jagged edge and he heads
- 34:09Speaker 1: up top. He's gonna go for a tsunami and he
- 34:12Speaker 1: gets stopped temporarily by Axiom, and then comes the finish.
- 34:16Speaker 1: Reid shoves Axiom off the robes and as he comes
- 34:20Speaker 1: off the row, he shoves him off right into a
- 34:23Speaker 1: spear from bron Breaker. It was a fucking thing of beauty.
- 34:28Speaker 1: So he spears this man dead. That was an awesome
- 34:31Speaker 1: little sequence there after, Reid then came off the top
- 34:35Speaker 1: with a tsunami splash to Nathan Fraser and he got
- 34:39Speaker 1: the pin to win it for the vision. So that
- 34:42Speaker 1: was a great finish. And honestly, Phrasium were great opponents
- 34:45Speaker 1: for these two. They basically got crushed. But as far
- 34:50Speaker 1: as you know, two smaller guys to go in there,
- 34:52Speaker 1: sell for their offense and just make these two look
- 34:55Speaker 1: like monsters, you know, Phraxia and bump their asses off
- 34:59Speaker 1: Phraxium perfect. So after the ring announcer Mark Nash announces
- 35:05Speaker 1: Breaker and Read as the winners. Paul Hayman cuts him
- 35:07Speaker 1: off and he says, I don't need John Cena's bitch
- 35:12Speaker 1: to announce them as the winners. I'll do that myself.
- 35:15Speaker 1: But then he was interrupted by the USSOS who were
- 35:18Speaker 1: up on the Titan trom. Jimmy and Jay were already
- 35:21Speaker 1: at the Gamebridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, the site of Russell Palooza,
- 35:25Speaker 1: and they said they were going to lock things down.
- 35:28Speaker 1: They welcomed the vision to the USO Penitentiary, they did
- 35:30Speaker 1: their cashphrase and that was the end of that. Today's
- 35:34Speaker 1: episode is sponsored by Betterhelp. This is the perfect time
- 35:38Speaker 1: for me to be talking about this because we just
- 35:40Speaker 1: had the return of aj Lee in WWE, and she
- 35:44Speaker 1: was in the ring on Raw last week talking about
- 35:46Speaker 1: how helpful therapy has been for her. They even had
- 35:49Speaker 1: ten thousand people in the stands chanting their uh pee
- 35:53Speaker 1: their uh pee. That's a first. I've never heard anything
- 35:56Speaker 1: like that before. But therapy does deserve to be cheered
- 35:59Speaker 1: because and help you in so many different ways, and
- 36:02Speaker 1: people may turn to some funny places for support, whether
- 36:05Speaker 1: it's your barber, the cashier behind the counter and a
- 36:08Speaker 1: random stranger in the bathroom. But not everyone is a therapist. Instead,
- 36:12Speaker 1: get guidance from a credential therapist online with better Help,
- 36:16Speaker 1: I'll do the same thing. I'll turn to friends sometimes
- 36:19Speaker 1: for advice on how to solve those problems that life
- 36:21Speaker 1: froze at you. But there's a difference between that and

- 37:39Speaker 1: to the ring out for a promo that sound that
- 37:42Speaker 1: you hear tens of thousands of televisions. Turning to a
- 37:47Speaker 1: different channel, Nya took a shot at the Toledo crowd
- 37:51Speaker 1: they were in Toledo, Ohio tonight. She said that she
- 37:54Speaker 1: was sick of the SmackDown Women's division, claiming that they
- 37:57Speaker 1: were the alpha females when she was the true alpha
- 38:01Speaker 1: female of the division. Nya took credit for taking Tiffany
- 38:05Speaker 1: Stratton out, which prevented her from showing up at the
- 38:08Speaker 1: NXT homecoming show this past Tuesday. Nya then took a
- 38:12Speaker 1: shot at Jade Cargill and said, you know, if I
- 38:16Speaker 1: could have.
- 38:17Speaker 2: Her looks, I would love to look like Jade Cargill
- 38:21Speaker 2: because she looks like a comic book character come to life, right,
- 38:24Speaker 2: Jade car Gill looks like a million bucks.
- 38:28Speaker 1: But she says, Jade wishes she had Naya's in ring talent.
- 38:33Speaker 1: That's great. That was great. So Nya said that she
- 38:36Speaker 1: would annihilate any storm or any Tiffy time, any damn time.
- 38:43Speaker 1: This brought out the WWE Women's champion, Tiffany Stratton for
- 38:47Speaker 1: a rebuttal. Stratton said that people have had enough of
- 38:50Speaker 1: Nya Jacks being in the women's division. It's not that
- 38:54Speaker 1: I've had enough of Nya Jax being in the women's division.
- 38:56Speaker 1: I've had enough of Naya Jacks being, you know, involved
- 39:00Speaker 1: in some sort of rivalry with Tiffany Stratton and challenging
- 39:04Speaker 1: for the women's championship. That's what I'm sick of. And
- 39:08Speaker 1: since Nya and Jade were committed to acting so delusional,
- 39:12Speaker 1: Tiffany said that she was here to prove that she
- 39:14Speaker 1: was the one true WWE champion. Stratton attempted to walk
- 39:18Speaker 1: down to the ring she was going to confront Naya.
- 39:20Speaker 1: She got stopped by referees who ran out in front
- 39:22Speaker 1: of her. Jade Cargill's music hits and she makes her
- 39:26Speaker 1: way out and she decked some of the security geeks
- 39:30Speaker 1: on her way to the ring. She blew right past Tiffany.
- 39:32Speaker 1: She was on her way to the ring, getting up
- 39:34Speaker 1: on the apron. She's going to confront Naya. Before she
- 39:37Speaker 1: could get into the ring, Nick Aldens comes out and
- 39:40Speaker 1: he put a stop to things by threatening consequences if
- 39:43Speaker 1: she continued to put her hands on people, and he
- 39:46Speaker 1: announced that next week in Orlando on SmackDown, we're going
- 39:51Speaker 1: to get a triple threat match for the WWE Women's Championship.
- 39:55Speaker 1: It'll be Tiffany Stratton defending her title against Jade and
- 39:58Speaker 1: Naya Jacks. So not Wressell Palooza. They're saving this match
- 40:03Speaker 1: for TV next week. That match, let's talk about this.
- 40:07Speaker 1: That match was originally scheduled for Wressell Polozo. Now what
- 40:10Speaker 1: happened is, if you watched the show last week, Tiffany
- 40:13Speaker 1: and Jade, Tiffany did that moon salt out of the
- 40:15Speaker 1: ring and it looked like she smacked the back of
- 40:18Speaker 1: her head badly on the floor outside. And when had happened,
- 40:21Speaker 1: I thought to myself, that's a concussion right there. Now,
- 40:24Speaker 1: It was never confirmed, but Tiffany was pulled from the
- 40:27Speaker 1: NXT show this week. She was supposed to team up
- 40:29Speaker 1: with Rhea Ripley and Stephanie Vecaire in the main event.
- 40:31Speaker 1: She got pulled Lyra Valkyria took her place, and it
- 40:35Speaker 1: was said some of the reports that she was not
- 40:39Speaker 1: medically cleared. I don't know if she was concussed and
- 40:43Speaker 1: that's why she was out, or if there was the
- 40:45Speaker 1: fear that she might have been concussed, but I'm almost
- 40:49Speaker 1: sure it would have been as a result of what
- 40:51Speaker 1: we saw with that Moonsalt where she over rotated last week.
- 40:55Speaker 1: So that's why she was not on NXT this week.
- 40:58Speaker 1: But then I saw PWN earlier today reported that she's
- 41:02Speaker 1: not injured. She is medically cleared. They just made a
- 41:07Speaker 1: decision that they did not want to sort of overstack
- 41:11Speaker 1: the show tomorrow, so they opted to hold off on
- 41:14Speaker 1: the match for TV next week. Because this match was
- 41:18Speaker 1: listed on the event T shirt for Russell Palooza, so
- 41:21Speaker 1: it was originally scheduled for the PL but the idea
- 41:25Speaker 1: that WWE didn't want to overstack the show tomorrow, since
- 41:30Speaker 1: when is six matches overstacking a show? Ten matches. Twelve matches.
- 41:37Speaker 1: We've seen some pay per views this year like that,
- 41:40Speaker 1: that's overstacking the show. Going from five matches to six
- 41:44Speaker 1: matches is not overstacking the show. Let's just be honest here.
- 41:47Speaker 1: What they like to do on these shows is have
- 41:50Speaker 1: these twenty five to thirty minute breaks in between matches, right,
- 41:55Speaker 1: We get these long breaks and a bunch of ads,
- 42:00Speaker 1: and so they like keeping it to five matches so
- 42:02Speaker 1: they can fit all their shit in in between each
- 42:04Speaker 1: of the matches. One match more would not have made
- 42:08Speaker 1: that much of a difference, but it would have added
- 42:10Speaker 1: another match to the show, and six matches on a
- 42:13Speaker 1: show is not that much. That's actually, I think the
- 42:15Speaker 1: perfect number for these shows. They don't have to overload them.
- 42:19Speaker 1: But the idea that, oh, we had one more match,
- 42:22Speaker 1: it's gonna be overstacked, what sense does that make since
- 42:26Speaker 1: one is six matches overstacking, especially now you're asking people,
- 42:31Speaker 1: and look, some people will get it for free, but
- 42:33Speaker 1: there's a lot of people out there who will not
- 42:35Speaker 1: have access to the show unless they pay thirty bucks.
- 42:39Speaker 1: Thirty bucks for a five match show, you can't give
- 42:42Speaker 1: people the extra title match on that show. It's ridiculous.
- 42:46Speaker 1: So they absolutely could have done this match tomorrow, but
- 42:49Speaker 1: they made the decision not too so they're gonna save
- 42:52Speaker 1: it for next week because my god, five matches is
- 42:54Speaker 1: just too much. We can't go beyond that. That's far
- 42:58Speaker 1: too many matches. No, we need thirty minutes between each match.
- 43:05Speaker 1: In the back, we got more shilling from our Truth
- 43:10Speaker 1: for the ESPN app. This time he was showing the
- 43:12Speaker 1: MotorCity machine Guns and Ray Phoenix how to download and
- 43:16Speaker 1: use the app. Yes, all the geeks who did not
- 43:19Speaker 1: make the card tomorrow, all you losers who are going
- 43:22Speaker 1: to be sitting at home watching the show, let me
- 43:24Speaker 1: show you how since you're too stupid to realize on
- 43:27Speaker 1: your own how to do it. So there's Alex Shelley
- 43:30Speaker 1: and Chris Sabin and ray Phoenix is like he's fake
- 43:32Speaker 1: scrolling on his phone. He's in the app store, and
- 43:36Speaker 1: Killings is trying to explain to them, you go here,
- 43:38Speaker 1: you go to the stream, dot this, and you hit
- 43:41Speaker 1: this button and you do this, and you log in
- 43:43Speaker 1: with your credentials and really trying to hammer home you
- 43:46Speaker 1: know how to get this show. Then we got some
- 43:49Speaker 1: comedy at the very end of this from Chris Saban,
- 43:52Speaker 1: who told Truth to watch the next season of The
- 43:55Speaker 1: Great British Baking Championship, the Great Biddish Baking Championship. He again,
- 44:05Speaker 1: I should point out our truth neglected to mention that
- 44:08Speaker 1: this is for some people anyway, a thirty dollars price
- 44:12Speaker 1: dag on this show. He didn't mention that bar Sammy's
- 44:18Speaker 1: ain was out. Next another US Title Open Challenge match.
- 44:22Speaker 1: This time it was against Carmelo Hayes, who called his
- 44:25Speaker 1: shot last week. He said, I got next, so we
- 44:28Speaker 1: knew about this already. Going back to last week, speaking
- 44:31Speaker 1: of twenty five minutes between matches, it had been twenty
- 44:34Speaker 1: five minutes since the previous match. Miz was on commentary,
- 44:39Speaker 1: as I said, for the entire show here, and he
- 44:42Speaker 1: was very excited for his boy Mellow getting a title shot.
- 44:47Speaker 1: On the apron early Sammy looked like he was going
- 44:50Speaker 1: for something big. Hayes stunned him with a guillotine leg
- 44:53Speaker 1: drop as they went into a commercial. So the show
- 44:57Speaker 1: came back. Hayes had the upper hand. Sammy fought back
- 44:59Speaker 1: with a clothesline. He followed that up with an axe
- 45:02Speaker 1: handle from the middle rope. Sammy dragged Hayes to the corner.
- 45:06Speaker 1: He started teeing off on him with repeated punches to
- 45:09Speaker 1: the face, much to the chagrin of miz on commentary,
- 45:15Speaker 1: who was pretty insufferable. I will say during parts of
- 45:17Speaker 1: this match, you know he was rooting for Carmelo. He
- 45:21Speaker 1: was getting into the near falls, but it was just
- 45:24Speaker 1: awful to listen to. Zayin landed a tornado DDT could
- 45:28Speaker 1: not pick up the wind with it. Zayn headed up top.
- 45:31Speaker 1: Hayes recovered and avoided what he was going for. Mello,
- 45:36Speaker 1: though could not avoid a Mitchinoku driver, which got another
- 45:40Speaker 1: near fall. Hayes caught Sammy on the button with a
- 45:43Speaker 1: big knee to the face, and then he headed up
- 45:45Speaker 1: top for a huge frog splash, but Sammy got his
- 45:49Speaker 1: knees up at the very last second, which sent Hayes
- 45:51Speaker 1: scurrying to the corner and right into the crosshairs of
- 45:55Speaker 1: a Halluva kick. Hayes, though, intercepted Sammy with a super
- 46:00Speaker 1: kick and both men were down heading into another commercial break.
- 46:05Speaker 1: So both men were down for a while. They pull
- 46:08Speaker 1: themselves back up. Hayes hits a La mistica facebuster for two.
- 46:13Speaker 1: They start trading strikes and then Sammy hits a lagger
- 46:15Speaker 1: bomb for two of his own. Both men hit the ropes.
- 46:18Speaker 1: We got a double clothesline spot both men were down.
- 46:22Speaker 1: Hayes goes up top for a frog splash, this time
- 46:24Speaker 1: he hits it only for a near fall. Hayes tries
- 46:28Speaker 1: a leaping codebreaker, but Sammy holds onto him and blocks
- 46:32Speaker 1: it blocks him from completing the move. Sammy then tries
- 46:36Speaker 1: a blue thunderbomb. Hayes counters into the first forty eight
- 46:40Speaker 1: for a near fall. Hayes lifts Sammy up for a cutter,
- 46:43Speaker 1: followed by a springboard neck breaker. Sammy managed to avoid
- 46:47Speaker 1: nothing but net and he turned that into a blue
- 46:50Speaker 1: thunderbomb but the wind. He won with the Blue Thunderbomb
- 46:56Speaker 1: and retains the US Championship. A rare Hasian where Sammy's
- 47:01Speaker 1: ain't actually wins a match with the blue Thunderbomb, which
- 47:04Speaker 1: is one of my favorite moves, and I would like
- 47:07Speaker 1: to see that happen more often. He doesn't have to
- 47:09Speaker 1: win every match with it. It's kind of like Bronson Reid.
- 47:12Speaker 1: You know, he's been using the Jagged Edge on occasion
- 47:16Speaker 1: now as like one of his new finishing moves and
- 47:18Speaker 1: that's fine. Like you don't have to use the tsunami
- 47:21Speaker 1: in every match, It's nice to have a little bit
- 47:23Speaker 1: of variety in your signature. Moves. Same thing here, like
- 47:28Speaker 1: Sammy wins most of his matches with the Halluva kick,
- 47:31Speaker 1: but every now and then throw that blue thunderbomb out
- 47:34Speaker 1: there and let him win with it. I love it.
- 47:36Speaker 1: I'd love to see more of it. But this was
- 47:39Speaker 1: another very good match here from the Samy's Ain Open Challenge.
- 47:42Speaker 1: That's three in a row. He had a great match
- 47:44Speaker 1: with John Cena. Shit he finish, but he had a
- 47:47Speaker 1: great match with John Cena. He had an excellent match
- 47:49Speaker 1: last week with Ray Phoenix, which has been the best
- 47:51Speaker 1: of the bunch so far, and then another very strong
- 47:54Speaker 1: match here on this show with Carmelo Hayes, who looked good.
- 47:57Speaker 1: Was a good outing for Hayes, even though he lost.
- 48:00Speaker 1: The open challenges have truly become the highlight of this show.
- 48:03Speaker 1: If there is anything must see, and there's very little
- 48:06Speaker 1: these days that is must see about the weekly WWE shows,
- 48:11Speaker 1: like next to nothing. If we're being honest as far
- 48:15Speaker 1: as SmackDown goes, this is the closest thing to must
- 48:17Speaker 1: see on this show. Every week and it's been three
- 48:20Speaker 1: weeks so far, but these matches are consistently the highlight
- 48:23Speaker 1: of these shows. This has been tremendous so far. Now,
- 48:27Speaker 1: Carmelo Hayes lost, right, he called his shot and he lost,
- 48:32Speaker 1: but he still has his story with the Miz that
- 48:34Speaker 1: they have been playing up for weeks now, which is
- 48:36Speaker 1: one of the more consistent stories on this show. One
- 48:39Speaker 1: would assume it's leading to a split with him and
- 48:41Speaker 1: Miz in the not so distant future. My guess is
- 48:45Speaker 1: that Hayes ends up a babyface out of it, and
- 48:48Speaker 1: the hope then is that okay when that split happens,
- 48:51Speaker 1: and really whether he's a heel or a babyface coming
- 48:53Speaker 1: out of it once that split happens, do they have
- 48:58Speaker 1: something lined up for Carmelo Hayes or is this all
- 49:01Speaker 1: for nothing? You know, he had that best of seven
- 49:03Speaker 1: series for the US title last year with Andrade and
- 49:07Speaker 1: same thing there. That was the highlight of SmackDown right
- 49:10Speaker 1: consistently the best thing on the show every week, and
- 49:14Speaker 1: neither one of them won the US Championship out of
- 49:16Speaker 1: it in the end, but there was nothing lined up
- 49:19Speaker 1: for them when it was over. It was like, okay,
- 49:21Speaker 1: the series is over and now it's like to the
- 49:24Speaker 1: back burner with both of you. The key is having
- 49:26Speaker 1: something set up for him coming out of this, you know,
- 49:31Speaker 1: and the story with them is I can only hope
- 49:34Speaker 1: that that's the case. Do Triple H and Roode Doug
- 49:38Speaker 1: have something in mind here, something bigger, something greater in
- 49:41Speaker 1: mind for Carmelo Hayes. I have my doubts. I'm skeptical,
- 49:46Speaker 1: but I sure hope they do. It's got to be
- 49:48Speaker 1: leading somewhere for him. He's been getting consistent television ty.
- 49:52Speaker 1: He was even on NXT this week teaming with Trick Williams.
- 49:55Speaker 1: You know, he's on the show pretty much every week.
- 49:57Speaker 1: He had this great match tonight. So this is all good,
- 49:59Speaker 1: this is it's all positive momentum here. But you know,
- 50:03Speaker 1: excuse me if I'm skeptical of where this momentum ultimately
- 50:06Speaker 1: is going to lead. You know, That's what I'm looking
- 50:08Speaker 1: to the future and wondering where does he fit in
- 50:10Speaker 1: the pecking order here on this show. I'm looking at
- 50:12Speaker 1: someone like Jacob Fatu, who has become MIA. He's wrestling
- 50:16Speaker 1: dark matches and doing nothing on TV, and I'm left
- 50:18Speaker 1: wondering why the show is suffering on most weeks. You know,
- 50:23Speaker 1: we need to see more of these people, not less.
- 50:28Speaker 1: Kit Wilson, who has not been seen on TV in months,
- 50:33Speaker 1: was backstage randomly talking to Nick Aldis about hyper masculinity,
- 50:38Speaker 1: and at that moment, Damian Priest walks in. He's very
- 50:42Speaker 1: hyper mad. He's very angry about what Alistair Black did
- 50:45Speaker 1: to him last week. Wilson got upset at priests demands
- 50:49Speaker 1: because he's demanding a match with Alistair Black, and Wilson
- 50:52Speaker 1: gets upset about this. He's telling all this, this is
- 50:55Speaker 1: the classic case of toxic masculinity, and so he ends
- 51:00Speaker 1: up being thrown through a wall into the adjacent room.
- 51:05Speaker 1: What shitty construction they have backstage at these WWE shows.
- 51:10Speaker 1: If I'm Kit Wilson, I'm filing a lawsuit unsafe work environment.
- 51:14Speaker 1: How thin are these walls that you just throw the
- 51:17Speaker 1: guy right through it? And Nick all this, I love
- 51:20Speaker 1: it too. He pulls out his cell phone and doesn't
- 51:23Speaker 1: waste a second. Like, he pulls out his cell phone
- 51:25Speaker 1: and apparently it was already on and he's like, I'm
- 51:28Speaker 1: gonna need medical, tucks his phone away. Who's he talking to?
- 51:33Speaker 1: I've always wondered who is he talking to. One thing
- 51:36Speaker 1: we know when it comes to all this and Adam
- 51:39Speaker 1: Pearson most weeks is that they don't really plan ahead
- 51:42Speaker 1: for these shows. Many weeks we show up here, we
- 51:45Speaker 1: watch these shows. Matches are not made. They're made on
- 51:48Speaker 1: the spot. Apparently there's no card. I don't know what
- 51:51Speaker 1: these people do during the course of the week. I
- 51:55Speaker 1: mean that could be a whole reality series, like a
- 51:57Speaker 1: vlog all by itself, like following the GM throughout the week.
- 52:02Speaker 1: I would love to know what they do. How do
- 52:04Speaker 1: they plan for these shows? They don't do a very
- 52:07Speaker 1: good job. Now they aired this. They did a good
- 52:11Speaker 1: job on this. They aired the second half of the
- 52:13Speaker 1: retrospective for John Cena and Brock Lesni We got part
- 52:16Speaker 1: one last week, which covered their early days in Ohio
- 52:18Speaker 1: Valley Wrestling, their respective debuts on SmackDown in two thousand
- 52:22Speaker 1: and two, their Backlash title match in two thousand and three,
- 52:27Speaker 1: so this was part two. They covered Lesner's return to
- 52:29Speaker 1: the company in twenty twelve, their Extreme Rules match, which
- 52:34Speaker 1: I maintained to this day Lesners should not have lost.
- 52:38Speaker 1: I mean that finished when I covered it at the
- 52:40Speaker 1: time on the sound though that finished pissed me off
- 52:44Speaker 1: right up through their Summer Slid match in twenty fourteen,
- 52:47Speaker 1: which was just a complete destruction, you know, just a
- 52:51Speaker 1: total squash. So they covered all of that, and now
- 52:55Speaker 1: we come to what should be their final match. It
- 52:58Speaker 1: wrestled Palloza tomorrow, can it live up to the Extreme
- 53:00Speaker 1: Rules match from twenty twelve? That match was a spectacle
- 53:05Speaker 1: in every sense of the word. I may not have
- 53:07Speaker 1: liked the finish, but it was one of the best
- 53:10Speaker 1: WWE matches of the entire year. It was just so unique,
- 53:15Speaker 1: especially at that time, you just did not see matches
- 53:18Speaker 1: like that in WWE. It just of course the blood him,
- 53:23Speaker 1: you know, busting scene, open hard way. You just didn't
- 53:26Speaker 1: see that shit back then. Then you look at their
- 53:29Speaker 1: Summer Slam match in twenty fourteen, which was unique in
- 53:31Speaker 1: a completely different way. You did not see a top star,
- 53:35Speaker 1: the biggest star in the company squashed in a pay
- 53:38Speaker 1: per view main event that way. Each each of those
- 53:42Speaker 1: times they found something to they found a way to
- 53:47Speaker 1: do the match that made it feel unique, and I'm
- 53:51Speaker 1: just wondering how they can do that tomorrow to differentiate
- 53:55Speaker 1: it from all the previous matches that these two have had.
- 53:58Speaker 1: What can they do maybe that they haven't done before.
- 54:02Speaker 1: You know what would be shocking if Brock went in
- 54:04Speaker 1: there and actually wrestled the way that he used to
- 54:07Speaker 1: wrestle it during his first run, where he knew more
- 54:09Speaker 1: than j justesue plexes. But I feel like that version
- 54:12Speaker 1: of Brock Lesnar died a long time ago. Also, don't
- 54:15Speaker 1: forget they were part of one of the best matches
- 54:17Speaker 1: in twenty fifteen WWE, that Triple Threat match at the
- 54:20Speaker 1: Royal Rumble with seth Rawlins, which was a tremendous match.
- 54:22Speaker 1: So they've had some really good matches before. This is
- 54:25Speaker 1: now twenty twenty five. You know they're older. Obviously Brock
- 54:29Speaker 1: is still in great shape, but you know they're older.
- 54:33Speaker 1: Seen it is at the very end of his run,
- 54:35Speaker 1: I mean literally the final matches of his career here,
- 54:38Speaker 1: but you saw the output from him last month with
- 54:41Speaker 1: Cody at Summerslim, with Logan Poullock clash in Paris. With
- 54:44Speaker 1: the right opponent, John Cena can go out there and
- 54:46Speaker 1: can have a banger match, and I think he can
- 54:49Speaker 1: do the same with Brock. I just I'm very curious
- 54:51Speaker 1: to see how they structure this match, how long does
- 54:54Speaker 1: the match go Is it really in and out for Brock?
- 54:57Speaker 1: Four minutes? Are they going to have a ten to
- 54:59Speaker 1: twelve match, fifteen minute match? I don't know. I don't know.
- 55:05Speaker 1: John Cena, with the right opponent can still go out
- 55:07Speaker 1: there and have a great match at this stage of
- 55:10Speaker 1: the game. Is Brock the right opponent for him? I
- 55:13Speaker 1: don't know. Won't have to wait very long since they're
- 55:17Speaker 1: opening the show tomorrow. We got a Solo Sekoa vignette
- 55:23Speaker 1: as he showed appreciation for Tongaaloa, who was the only
- 55:28Speaker 1: member of the MFTs who was standing behind him here
- 55:31Speaker 1: in this segment. Showing appreciation for the Great Tonga, Loa
- 55:38Speaker 1: said that he's been showing loyalty to Solo since day one.
- 55:41Speaker 1: He said that he owed it to Tongaloa to be
- 55:45Speaker 1: a champion and that his loyalty would be rewarded as
- 55:48Speaker 1: long as Tonga was part of his family tree. See
- 55:53Speaker 1: the Great Tangaloa loyal to a fault. I would imagine
- 55:57Speaker 1: that Tama Tonga should be back soon. I don't recall
- 56:01Speaker 1: the nature of the injury that he sustained. It was
- 56:04Speaker 1: many many months ago. He could very well be on
- 56:07Speaker 1: his way back soon. I haven't heard anything said about him.
- 56:12Speaker 1: They closed the show with the contract signing with Drew
- 56:15Speaker 1: McIntyre and Cody Rhodes for the WWE Championship match of
- 56:18Speaker 1: Russell Palooza. Nick Alldis was in the ring to first
- 56:21Speaker 1: introduced McIntyre. Before he could speak, Cody's music hit and
- 56:26Speaker 1: the champion came down to the ring. So Drew was sitting,
- 56:31Speaker 1: Cody was standing, and Cody asked him, Drew, do you
- 56:35Speaker 1: know what happened on this day? Fifteen years ago? We
- 56:39Speaker 1: won the tag team Championships? And do you know who
- 56:42Speaker 1: was backstage talking about that? Nobody? He says. The fans
- 56:46Speaker 1: don't even know all the lore. Sometimes they just pay
- 56:50Speaker 1: their money to see two guys fight. I guess that's
- 56:53Speaker 1: how they're justifying the Cina Lesnar match tomorrow. Says he
- 56:59Speaker 1: knows who's In the past, Drew has won a Royal Rumble,
- 57:03Speaker 1: He's been a WWE Champion, he slayed the Beast, He's
- 57:07Speaker 1: two hundred and eighty pounds, He's the Scottish Warrior. But
- 57:10Speaker 1: lately the Scottish Warrior has just been a keyboard warrior.
- 57:14Speaker 1: So go ahead, pull your phone out, let's go viral.
- 57:18Speaker 1: Make a post on social media, get one over on me,
- 57:20Speaker 1: because it's the last time you're going to get one
- 57:23Speaker 1: over on me. And Drew did. He pulled his phone out,
- 57:25Speaker 1: he tweeted something. He held his phone up and they
- 57:28Speaker 1: zoomed in on what he tweeted, and he tweeted, thank you, Cody,
- 57:34Speaker 1: and Cody was a bit confused by this. Andrew said, no,
- 57:38Speaker 1: thank you, Cody. All he wanted was a shot at
- 57:40Speaker 1: the WWE Championship with that anybody getting involved, and without
- 57:44Speaker 1: anybody screwing him over. This guy still has PTSD from
- 57:47Speaker 1: all the times he got fucked over by the bloodline.
- 57:50Speaker 1: But this is all he wanted. He wanted a title
- 57:52Speaker 1: shot and a fair fight. Cody doesn't even think about
- 57:56Speaker 1: himself anymore. He thinks about what's best for the company.
- 58:00Speaker 1: He's the corporate champion. He kicked Cody's head. And by
- 58:03Speaker 1: the way, this point here that he made is a
- 58:05Speaker 1: very valid one. He says, I kicked your head through
- 58:09Speaker 1: the announced desk. I put you on the shelf for
- 58:12Speaker 1: five weeks. You were gone. And Cody comes back and
- 58:18Speaker 1: instead of stomping him, he's out here to talk him
- 58:22Speaker 1: to death. That's I have had this problem before with
- 58:26Speaker 1: people when they do like an injury angle. Uh, and
- 58:29Speaker 1: then the person comes back and if they're not all
- 58:33Speaker 1: fired up ready to murder someone, it's like, what are
- 58:35Speaker 1: we doing here? You're right, Cody is the champion, he's
- 58:39Speaker 1: the guy, and he got injured and he was put
- 58:43Speaker 1: out for over a month. When he came back, yeah,
- 58:46Speaker 1: I mean that first time he did like a run in.
- 58:49Speaker 1: But he's coming out here, he's all smiles. Where's that
- 58:55Speaker 1: sense of you know what? You took five weeks away
- 58:58Speaker 1: from me after I had just won my championship back
- 59:01Speaker 1: you put me on the shelf. I'm gonna fuck you up.
- 59:03Speaker 1: That's not the version of Cody Roads that we got tonight.
- 59:06Speaker 1: We had Cody coming out here and cutting a proper promo.
- 59:09Speaker 1: So that's a fair point that Drew was making here.
- 59:14Speaker 1: Say he says, they being the fans, are going to
- 59:17Speaker 1: turn on you because you're the flavor of the month,
- 59:20Speaker 1: and then Cody is gonna say Drew was right. Cody said.
- 59:25Speaker 1: If Drew is wrong, his legacy then becomes the man
- 59:28Speaker 1: who lost to Cody on their debut ESPN ple E
- 59:32Speaker 1: for the WWE Undisputed Shit. Let's talk about a mouthful here.
- 59:37Speaker 1: He definitely went into corporate Cody mode here. Oh if
- 59:41Speaker 1: you if you lose to me, you're gonna be the
- 59:44Speaker 1: guy who lost to me. On the ESPN ple E
- 59:47Speaker 1: debut for the Undisputed WWE Championship presented by Netflix, the
- 59:53Speaker 1: fuck up, dude, I want Drew to win the title tomorrow.
- 59:56Speaker 1: Fuck it. Put the title on Drew. Pick this shit
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: up and just put the title on Drew. I officially,
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: I think I've turned on Cody here in this promo.
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: I think Drew was right. He's way too corporate for
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: my liking. But with that, Cody signed the contract and
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: then Drew signed the contract and then he delivered a
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: Glasgow kiss to Cody, and Cody rolled out to the floor.
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: McIntyre followed him started kicking his ass. He was setting
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: up for another Claymore through the announced desk. Cody was
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: in the exact right position for him to do what
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: he did to him all those weeks ago, and Drew hesitated.
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: He was like, no, no, he had second thoughts about it.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: He said, I'm not going to kick your head through
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: the table again. This match is happening tomorrow, and I'm
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: taking that thing. That means the most to you, the
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: WWE Championship, and with that, Drew walked off. He said,
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: I'm not going to screw it up for myself. As
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: he's walking away, though, Cody comes flying out of the
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: ring with a suicide dive and the two of them
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: brawled and the head of separated by officials. Drew, though,
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: managed to break free. He delivered a running boot right
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: to the face and it was Cody on the ground
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: with Drew telling him to sleep with the title because
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: it's the last time you're going to have it for
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: a long time. And that's how the show went off
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: the air. Pretty paint by number stuff here. As far
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: as a contract signing segment is concerned, we just had
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: a contract signing actually on Dynamite on Wednesday with Kyle
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: Fletcher and Hangman Page. And again two very similar segments here.
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: This one we had physicality that we didn't get in
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: that one, but you know, we had these two segments
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: within forty eight hours of each other. I had to
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: mention that this is Cody's first title defense since winning
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: the championship back at Summerslim. It is hard for me
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: to conceive of him losing the championship this early. I
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: would be in favor of it, though, I think that
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: if this match is closing the show, they better have
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: something big planned right their first big espn Ple. They're
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: not closing with Lesner and Sina, Fine, something has to
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: happen here to really shake things up. This product could
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: use a shakeup of some kind, and so I think
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: what could they do here that truly would be a shakeup? Right,
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: or something that would catch people off guard. I think
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: there are a lot of people who don't expect Cody
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: to lose the championship. To him, losing the championship would
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: be one thing. But if he loses the championship, how
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: does he lose the championship? Right? He's not gonna lose clean?
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: Is that where Randy Orton comes into play? Or if
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: Cody doesn't lose the championship, Randy Orton can still get involved.
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: Randy Orton has beef with Drew, he may well have
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: beef with Cody as well. Drew was the one a
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: few weeks ago who I think was telling Randy about
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: Cody not giving a shit about him. Maybe he talked
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: it into his head. I don't If Duo doesn't win
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: the title, I don't see it as one and done right.
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: You got Crown Jewel coming up next month. But then
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: I see that they're probably doing the Champion versus Champion matches.
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: It was pointed out to me there was in the
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: press release for Crown Jewel. The language in there indicates
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: that they're going back to doing these champion versus Champion,
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: brand versus brand matches, which means we're probably looking at
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: Cody Rhodes and Seth rawlins at Crown Jewel. I can't
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: imagine Drew wins the belt. We get Drew and Seth.
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: So all signs point to Cody keeping the title. But
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: the question is, what's the big angle. What's the big
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: maybe shocking twist If we get one at the end
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: of this show, and it to me, it would be
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: a Randy Orton heel turn. You know, people talking about
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: The Rock is gonna you know, he's gonna take Drew's soul.
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: I don't want to hear about this shit. Fuck that,
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: fuck the Rock, I don't I don't care about that.
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: We've been been down this road before enough with the Rock.
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: The Rock has a movie come out in a few weeks.
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: He's going to try to win an oscar. He doesn't
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: give a shit about this. Randy Orton being involved in
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: some way makes sense. Randy Orton going heel easily could
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: see that happening, and that would be a big shocking
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: maybe not so shocking, but it would be a big
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: twist there that they could do at the end of
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: the show. That's what I keep coming back to as
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: far as what what realistically could they do if they
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: were going to shoot some big angle at the end
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: of the show, that would be it. I mean, look,
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: you can't rule out something like Rock just because it
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: is the big ESPN debut and maybe they want to
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: make a big splash. But again, he's got other shit
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: going on. People forget about that. You know. I don't
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: want to see him or someone else make a one
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: time appearance just for the sake of making an appearance
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: unless there's a real story to be told there. So
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: you know, I don't want to think about that. I
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: don't want to hear about that. Focus on the here
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: and now and who you have available and coming up
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: with a compelling story that can then take you into
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: television next week and take you on into Crown Jewel.
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: I don't like this whole Champion versus championshit they do.
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: To me, it's just like going back to the Survivor
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: series format from years ago and they did brand warfare,
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: you know, and that got old, didn't mean anything. But
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: if that's what they're gonna do, then to me, that
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: gives away the finish here because I just don't see
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: Cody losing that championship. I just I just don't see it.
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: Should be a good match, though, but they better have
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: more than just a good match if they're going to
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: close the show with it, they have to have something,
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: some big hook to take you into TV next week.
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: For this show, and this being their big debut on ESPN,
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: I'm sure they got something planned, whether it's for this
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: match or something else on the show, but it would
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: seem to point to something happening at the end of
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: this match. We'll find out what that is. But the
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: Wrestle Palooza card is still a five match card. Here's
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: what it looks like. Brock Lesnar against John Cena. We
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: have aj Lee and CM Punk taking on Seth Rollins
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: and Becky Lynch. We have Jimmy and Back together the
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: usso's taking on bron Breaker and Bronson Reid. We have
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: the Women's World Championship to be decided. We are guaranteed
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: to have a new champion on this show. It will
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: either be EO Sky or Stephanie Vicaire and if we're
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: being honest, we win either way. Stephanie would be a
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: great champion. EO would be a great champion. I think
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: it's premature to put that title on Stephanie. I would
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: go with EO. I'm sticking with EO for the win,
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: and then Cody and Drew for the WWE Championship in
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: the main event. Those are your five matches on Wressell Palooza,
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: and yes, I will be covering Wressell Palooza live. I'll
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: be watching All Out until Wressell Palooza starts, and then
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: we'll transition over to that live on YouTube tomorrow night
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: for Wressell Palooza and then the sound off on Sunday.
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: I will include my All Out review in the podcast
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: episode nine thirty. So that is the plan for this weekend,
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: so just be aware. Let's head over to Twitter. What
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: did you think the cesspool that is Twitter? What did
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: you think of the final SmackDown before Wressell Palooza thirty
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: six point two percent thumbs up, thirty four point six
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: percent thumbs in the middle, and twenty nine point three
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: percent thumbs down. That's it's almost a dead heat. That's
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: almost a dead heat. Look at that. Look at that
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: thumbs up and thumbs in the middle. Very divided opinion
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: on this show here tonight. Let's get into your super chats.
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: We're uh six out of ten on the goal. Where
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: are we on the likes four to twenty? All right,
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: so we're guaranteed at least one round to be the
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: booker if we get we get that goal in the
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: in the chat, we'll do a double round, but we're
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: guaranteed at least one, so that's good. It's more than
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: I could say for for Wednesday night. I owe my
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: how cold it has gotten. Got a little chili on Wednesdays,
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: to say the least, the last few weeks. I don't
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: know what else to say about that. But it's gonna
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: be a big weekend of wrestling, very busy, so I
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: appreciate all the support. It's gonna be very tiring weekend,
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: but hopefully it'll be a fun one. It would be
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: a good chance for me to take my mind off
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: life for a few hours. Let's start with Victor. Victor
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: with a dollar ninety nine, what WWE wrestlers have the
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: best rogues galleries? I don't follow. What are you asking me, Victor?
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: I love you, but you're gonna have to specify it.
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: He says, Also, how would you rank every decade of
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: WWE creative? I don't know him as far as ranking them.
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: You know, I grew up on the Golden Era, and
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: the stories back then were a lot simpler, but they
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: some of the best stories. When you look at the
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: Megapower storyline, some of the best stories came from that era.
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: You know. It came from the eighties, eighties into the
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: early nineties. There was a lot of good stuff in
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: the nineties as well, So I'm partial to that. I'm
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: certainly not putting the twenty tens anywhere near the top
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: of that list. That I'm not doing. So, I don't
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: know how they all rank, but I will tell you
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: that I will lean towards the eighties and nineties period
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: over the more recent ones. I know people talk about
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: this being this is the cinema era, right cinema, and
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: they had the Bloodline story and the Bloodline story for
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: a while, there was quite great. But when you get
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: beyond the bloodline stuff, and I try to think of
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: like some of the greatest stories, the greatest creative stories
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: of the last you know, five or six years. Yeah,
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: it's kind of light. You know. Group of villains I
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: see best rivals or villains is what? Well? I mean,
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: John Cena's had a pretty good bro He's had a
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: pretty good group of villains I think that he's worked
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: with over the years, right from Edge to Punk to Lesnar.
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: Does that count? Today's episode is sponsored by Factor. The
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: unofficial end of summer is here. No more swimming pools,
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: no more barbecues, which is good actually because I was
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: eating way too many burgers and hunt dogs. This is
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: where Factor Meals comes in good in the clutch, because
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: I can eat smarter and have delicious, chef prepared meal

- 1:11:03Speaker 1: right into my schedule. Now you can enjoy a wider

- 1:11:10Speaker 1: salmon and shrimp, at no extra cost. Enjoy even more
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: GLP one friendly meals and new Mediterranean options packed with
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: protein and fats that are actually good for you, and

- 1:11:23Speaker 1: flavors influenced by China, Thailand, and more. It's never a
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: bad thing to expand your palate from more choices to
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: better nutrition. That's why ninety seven percent of customers say
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: that Factor help them live a healthier life. I've eaten
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: many factory meals myself. The sesame teriaki filet mignon is
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: still my favorite, but they've all been enjoyable. If you
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: take a peek at the menu for some of their
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: upcoming meals, you'll see what I mean. Roasted garlic chicken.
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: The roasted garlic butter salmon is there. If you're looking
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: for something that's keto friendly, maybe you want something a
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: little more carb conscious, you might go with the honey
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: mustard port. These are not TV dinners that you heat

- 1:12:53Speaker 1: I guess Brox sent Corey to his graves. Oh my god,
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: Yes he did Sidrow with the jokes. He sent Corey
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: to his graves. Terrible dried chicken, says spoiler. Brock Lesner
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: wins Lawless Victory Fatality on John Cena Holiday one ninety
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: seven with Cody versus Drew is the main event for
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: the pay per view. Could this mean that Drew wins
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: the title tomorrow or perhaps Drew could win it at
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: Crown Jewel. I think they'll do a couple of matches
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: between them. They should do a couple of matches, but
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: the belief is that they're doing the champion against Champion
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: Nonsense at Crown Jewel, so that doesn't seem very likely.
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: Dry Chicken says, I can't wait to watch aw Tailgate
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: Brawl before All Out. I'm excited for that eight tag
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: tornado match with the women. I can't tell if you're
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: being sarcastic or not. We get so many multi person matches.
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: It's just it's just ludicrous, it really is. Does this
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: mean Corey can wrestle? Yes, Corey has been medically cleared
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: for a few years now. It's like there were people
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: who didn't think Nigel McGinnis was medically clear, but he
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: was medically clear for years until one day, you know,
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: he was able to get back in the ring. So
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: who's to say that Corey Graves doesn't get back in
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: the ring for a match one day. I mean, at
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: one point I thought they were building to a like
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: an announcer match where we were going to get Corey
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: against Pat McAfee, and then it never happened. So yes,
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: if Corey wanted to wrestle, he could wrestle. Boots with
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: the fifteen bucks. What's going on, Boots? It may be
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: the Friday Night booze talking, but I think the GWO
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: needs a super secret handshake like the Street prop. It's
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: just no backflips, that's all I ask we in the
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: chat can workshop this later. I'm gonna leave that to you.
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: I'm gonna make Boots the leader on that and you
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: can work it out. You come up with whatever secret
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: handshake you want. That's fine with me, exclusively for our
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: channel members. Holliday says, I would like to see Ray
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: Maisterio face John Cena in a match on Raw and
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: win to avenge his WWE title loss in twenty eleven.
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: Ray held the title for two hours before dropping it
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: to Sena on a Raw episode. Oh I remember, and
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: I would not hold my breath waiting for that match
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: because it ain't gonna happen. The real CS with the
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: nine ninety nine and Michael Cole is literally the worst
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: broad cast. Part he said broad partner. I thought that's it.
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: He's the worst broad Michael Cole is just the worst
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: broad in history. This is the second time that his partner,
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: I think, he says this year his partner had to
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: save him and got their ass kicked for it. Oh right, McAfee,
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: that's right, Well that was last year. I don't want
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: to be his partner. That's right, Pat McAfee got killed
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: by Gunther Prince Vegeta. I've got an id in mind
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: for the Lessner's scene to finish tomorrow scene has got
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: Brock backed into the corner and Brock asks for England
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: John and Sina says no for me, and a giant
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: satellite falls on Brock. What movie did I not see?
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: I'm sure that's a movie reference. What movie did I
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: not see that? I'm not getting here with this reference?
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: Giant satellite falls on Brock. I mean that sounds like
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: a final destination movie to me. Mactubb. Why isn't Rock
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: ranked with Hogan Austin despite his unmatched ninety nine toh
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: one peak and adaptability across four decades, because he didn't
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: usher in an era like those two guys did. That's why,
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: I mean, some people might list him. He's certainly in
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: that conversation, but he is not the face of an era.
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: He didn't usher in an era in the way that
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: those two men did. That's the biggest difference. And Rock
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: has had more longevity than Austin did. Neither one of
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: them had the longevity that Hogan did. But that's the
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: biggest difference. He says, also, Rock seventeen to eighteen against
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: HBK twenty five to twenty six better WrestleMania run. I
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: think I gotta go Rock on that, and I would
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: say Rock just because of the variety there. You know,
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: with Sean he had those great matches with Undertaker. Twenty
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: five was better than twenty six, but it was the
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: same guy. Rock did it with two different opponents, two
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: very different opponents who just so happened to be two
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: of the biggest names in the history of the business,
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: and he beat them both. Rock is the only person
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: in history who can say that he has beaten John Cena,
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: Steve Austin, and Hulk Hogan at WRESTLEMANI, which is pretty impressive.
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: But Rock had that excellent match with Austin at seventeen.
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: Some say it's the best WrestleMania main event of all time,
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: and then eighteen was just a total five star affair
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: with Hogan. I gotta go Rock seventeen to eighteen, WWE
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: Wrestling and gaming. Who wins the scene of Brock match Brock?
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: I just feel like Brock's gonna win. Sidrow. What did
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: the urologist say to the student who got accepted into
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: urology school. You're in my God and biologists crossed a
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: watermelon with cauliflower. People who eat the new variety get
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: a sense of sadness known as melancholie. Okay, that's that's awful.
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: You should have quit with the urologist joke man. That
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: one is unmatched. Unmatched WWE wrestling and gaming. What's seen
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: His greatest attribute slash strength. His greatest attributes he was
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: He was the perfect corporate champion for Vince for many years.
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: He is the perfect like embodiment. I think of what
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: they look for in a champion, in a franchise player.
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: He's you know, for so many years, he was the
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: quarterback of that company. And I think his greatest attribute
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: and strength in terms of WWE is that they could
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: trust him, that he was never going to embarrass the company,
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: he was never going to get them in trouble. He
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: was always going to stay out of trouble. They could
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: rely on him. I think in ways that maybe they
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: felt like they couldn't with certain other top stars over
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: the years, and he was just the perfect embodiment of
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: everything they looked for in a champion. That's why he
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: was on top for so long. That's why they loved
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: him so much. That's why they call him the goat
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: on commentary every week. So more than his actual physical
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: strength or anything else's promo ability. To me, that's his
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: greatest attribute that kept him on top for so long.
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: Let's see here, we got Sidrow. There he is Sidrow
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: with fourteen months of membership. And by the way, Noel
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: Mulligan new channel member, Welcome. We got a bunch of
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: new Legends members too, who were checking out that retro audio,
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: so I hope you guys enjoy it. That stuff has
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: not been heard since it originally aired. I mean, we're
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: talking about early shit from like two thousand and seven,
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: two thousand and eight, so it's it's kind of fun
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: for me to go back and listen to some of
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: that stuff. I just cringe at some of it because
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: I just sounded so different. But the se Scoops Live
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: show that I put up tonight from that week before
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: WrestleMania twenty four is nice trip down memory lane. But
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: Sidro says, wife warned me not to steal kitchen utensils,
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: but it's a whisk I'm willing to take. Oh my god,
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: it's a whisk. He's willing to take. And what do
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: you call a cockpit when the pilots are women? I
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: don't know because it disappeared on me. Hold on a
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: second year, there we go. What do you call a
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: cockpit where the pilots are women? The box office? Very good,
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: very good, Daddy, you garte, says w NBC boyd w ANBC,
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: you gotta say it right, w ANBC. H mac tub
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: did you know Kevin Nash explain why Triple Ah to
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: beat Punk? He said Punk's promos before Night of Champions
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: severely offended him. Yeah, he beat Punk because you know
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: he was Look, we know why he beat Punk. I
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: don't need Kevin Nash to tell me why he beat Punk.
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: It was obvious in twenty eleven why it happened. Angel
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: Alago with the ten months of membership, says, my thoughts
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: and prayers are with you, al Monster. I appreciate that.
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: Still a tough situation with my aunt, she's still in
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: the hospital. But hopefully next week is a better week.
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: And then Angel with the one hundred and fifty dollars superbomb. Angel,
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: you are very much You're like an angel from heaven
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: here on the stream. Thank you, my friend. Hopefully you
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: can joined for Wressell Palooza tomorrow, or is Cody said
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: last week Wressell Palooza. I don't think Cody will be
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: a h a Wrestle Palooza tomorrow. I think he's getting
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: the wind. But Angel, thank you the moldy cheeseburger. It
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: has been sixteen years since hade Vanson made his cryptic
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: vignette on SmackDown. It's twenty twenty five. He still hasn't
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: made his debut. When is he going to show up?
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: He will come when Veer does. He will come when
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: Veer does. Sidrow, I got a new stick deodorant today.
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: The instruction said remove cap and push up bottom. I
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: can barely walk, but when I fart the room smells lovely.
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: What am I gonna do with you? What am I
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: gonna do with you? Uh not? Hugh Morris calling it now.
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: Brock is murdering Scena postmatch, but Jacob Fatu comes in
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: for a face off with Lesner. Any way to incorporate
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: Jacob Fatu into the mix is the correct move. So
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: I mentioned wargames, they could all be involved in a
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: war game scenario. I think that that would be great.
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: I think that that would be great. If they can
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: get Jacob involved in that, then you built to maybe
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: a Lesnar Fatu match. I think that would be tremendous.
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: Bace Bears says, is the Devil's Kiss even allowed in
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: Saudi Arabia? Probably not. It's a lot of things they
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: won't be able to do over there in terms of
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: just the attire. That's why I'm very curious to see
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: what his women's royal rumble looks like in January. Duffs
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: viz what search engine does Mario use? Yahoo? Thank you, Duffs.
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: Bace Bears says, five matches at Palooza is like five
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: bands at Woodstock. Yeah, but yeah, you would have the
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: five bands at Woodstock, but you would have like thirty
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: minutes between each set so they can plug various various things.
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: That would be the WWE version of Woodstock hosted by
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: Michael Cole. Sidrow had my feet amputated and my boss
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: fired me. These lack tose, intolerant suck What do you
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: fish for at baptisms? Holy mackerels ps. Thanks for your donation, Solo, Well,
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: you're very welcome. You know, I know it's been a
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: very tough week for Sidrow. Sidro lost his mom, and
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: as I said on the stream the other day, I
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: don't know if Sidrow is with us, but we're all
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: thinking about you. You're a part of the family, and
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: here's the better days. Here's the better days. Duff VIDs.
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: What did the blanket say when it fell off the bed?
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: Oh sheet? O sheet? Paul Carpenter MotorCity Machine Guns versus
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: Phraxium was on main event for Clash at Paris and
- 1:27:14Speaker 1: was a five star in my opinion. Please check it out.
- 1:27:21Speaker 1: Was on main event for Clash in Paris. What does
- 1:27:24Speaker 1: that mean? They taped the match at Clash in Paris
- 1:27:27Speaker 1: and it aired on main event. I didn't hear about this.
- 1:27:33Speaker 1: Why was it on main event then and not one
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: of the main shows. Duff's VIDs. The seven Dwarves were
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: sitting in a hot tub until Doc started feeling sleepy,
- 1:27:48Speaker 1: so Sleepy got out. Thank you, Duffs. Who were the
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: seven Dwarfs? Doc, Sleepy, Dopey, bashful? I forgot the other ones.
- 1:28:07Speaker 1: I only know four of the seven Dwarfs Sleepy it
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: was Dumpy one? Or did I just make that up?
- 1:28:21Speaker 1: I think Dumpy was one, right, Dumpy Dwarf. If not,
- 1:28:29Speaker 1: it should be grumpy. Yeah, I know a few people
- 1:28:32Speaker 1: like that. I know a few podcasters like that. All right,
- 1:28:36Speaker 1: let's see here. What have we got here? We got Sidrow?
- 1:28:39Speaker 1: What do you call an alligator who's a renegade? A gatorade?
- 1:28:44Speaker 1: Of course, that just makes so much sense. Happy, grumpy, dopey, sneezy.
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: I think Dumpy should be one. I'm sorry. We should
- 1:29:01Speaker 1: kill one of the existing seven dwarves and replace them
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: with Dumpy. I'm starting the campaign for it. We need
- 1:29:12Speaker 1: Dumpy Dwarf. Noel Mulligan, Hi, Solam monster. I was thinking
- 1:29:19Speaker 1: a wrestling event would do well in my city. Cork
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: Super Value Park can hold forty five thousand, and I'll
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: bet you there are a lot of wrestling fans there
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: too who would love to go to a wrestling show
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: like that. So I think that would be cool. Duff's VIDs.
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: When I was young, I had two kidneys. Now I
- 1:29:45Speaker 1: have adult knees. Sun oh Man Prince Vegeta says Drew
- 1:29:56Speaker 1: should be in the spot that Seth is in. So
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: Drew should be leading the vision. He's got way more
- 1:30:04Speaker 1: aura than he does. Please give Drew another world title.
- 1:30:07Speaker 1: Run Papa trips, all right, let's not call him Papa.
- 1:30:15Speaker 1: It's a little weird. Duff's VIDs. What is it called
- 1:30:21Speaker 1: when you carve a pumpkin in September? Premature e jack
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: o lantern? Not bad? Not bad. It reminds me, actually,
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: were what two weeks away? I get to start doing
- 1:30:39Speaker 1: the Halloween designs here on the channel all month long.
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: I love October. It's my favorite month. It might be
- 1:30:48Speaker 1: my favorite month for another reason too. Someone might have
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: a birthday coming up in a few weeks, but that's
- 1:30:54Speaker 1: just a rumor. Actually, when does my birthday fall? My
- 1:30:59Speaker 1: birthday falls on a Monday. How about that. I'll get
- 1:31:05Speaker 1: to be live with all of you on a Monday
- 1:31:06Speaker 1: night for my birthday. This year we have Duff's bids.
- 1:31:14Speaker 1: My girlfriend came up to me and said, what starts
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: with f and ens and K I said, no, it doesn't,
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: it's not even close. I like that one. That's right.
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: October is when the solemn Monster comes alive. That's right,
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: he comes alive, and he'll come again in the month
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: of October. Sidraw brother and I both have diarrhea. I
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: guess it runs in the family. Were you the one
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: who had the joke, it might have been on TNT
- 1:31:56Speaker 1: and I fucking lost it. Where uh what was it?
- 1:32:03Speaker 2: Was?
- 1:32:06Speaker 1: The name for the perfect diarrhea medication would be gonorrhea,
- 1:32:11Speaker 1: and I just I fucking lost it because it actually
- 1:32:13Speaker 1: makes a lot of sense, right, If you're going to
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: have a medication that you would take to stop diarrhea
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: would be called gonorrhea. That's just perfect. It just makes
- 1:32:23Speaker 1: so much sense. It was Sidra, of course it was you.
- 1:32:26Speaker 1: Of course it was Is it true that they finally
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: arrested Rajah Jackson. Yes, and he's already out fifty thousand
- 1:32:37Speaker 1: dollars bond He's already been bonded out. It's pathetic. And
- 1:32:44Speaker 1: he says, a guy starts a job at the nut factory.
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: He says, it's not all that it's cracked up to be.
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: Thank you, Sidro'll be taking some gonorrhea tonight, stuffs VIDs.
- 1:33:06Speaker 1: I was gonna make a joke about retirement, but it
- 1:33:10Speaker 1: doesn't work. That don't work for him. Brother Anobe sad
- 1:33:20Speaker 1: to see our truth, shamelessly being a Kiosk salesperson for
- 1:33:23Speaker 1: the ESPN app tonight. Also, there's a PL match PL
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: match limit now, Yeah, apparently apparently there's a match limit
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: now that Paul Avec has placed upon these pls, you're
- 1:33:36Speaker 1: not allowed to go past five unless it's like a
- 1:33:38Speaker 1: major show, then you get six. Bobby means the only
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: way humanly possible. The care wins is if Oscar costs EO.
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: But I just don't see it. Plus, what version of
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: HBK is your favorite? My favorite version of HBK? Yeah?
- 1:34:01Speaker 2: Is?
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: I mean, I just yeah, hard to argue against the
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: in ring output that he had in the late nineties.
- 1:34:11Speaker 1: The stuff he was doing in the mid to late
- 1:34:12Speaker 1: nineties is just untouchable. He had great stuff in the
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: second half of his career too, but you can't. You
- 1:34:22Speaker 1: can't beat that mid to late nineties HBK even with
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: all of his faults. We got boots first time watching
- 1:34:30Speaker 1: a CMLL show. The reps need to show a little
- 1:34:33Speaker 1: more hustle with their counts. Yes, CMLL the Anniversary Zone
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: is ongoing as we speak. I think it's actually being
- 1:34:44Speaker 1: offered on Triller, I think in English and Spanish as
- 1:34:46Speaker 1: a pay per view. But tonight is the big match
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: with MJF defending his CMLL Light Heavyweight Championship against Mystico
- 1:34:57Speaker 1: and then MJF and whoever else is on the show
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: Hetch of Sero and all these people are gonna head
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: on the Red Eye to make their way over to
- 1:35:09Speaker 1: Toronto for all Out, which is an earlier start time.
- 1:35:13Speaker 1: That's a three pm start time Eastern time tomorrow. So
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: they're gonna go right from where the Mexico city. They're
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: gonna go right from Mexico up to Toronto as quickly
- 1:35:22Speaker 1: as possible. Man, look at that, we hit the goal too,
- 1:35:27Speaker 1: We hit double be the booker. Look at that we
- 1:35:32Speaker 1: have done it ten out of ten. That means a
- 1:35:36Speaker 1: double be the Booker tonight. That makes up for the
- 1:35:38Speaker 1: lack of be the Booker on Wednesday. Thanks Dynamite Cripple
- 1:35:48Speaker 1: Punk ninety one. I just want to say thanks for
- 1:35:52Speaker 1: streaming and thanks to those making jokes. There you go.
- 1:35:57Speaker 1: You got a very kind thank you from Cripple Punk
- 1:36:01Speaker 1: to h Duff's VIDs and Sidrow and everyone else. Putting
- 1:36:05Speaker 1: a smile on his face tonight, it's very kind of him.
- 1:36:09Speaker 1: Thank you, Cripple Punk. Boots says, this referee is a
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: little too dowe, a little dowe to be a ref
- 1:36:22Speaker 1: I didn't know referees had to meet certain criteria for
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: their physique. A little too dowey, you say, Siddra says,
- 1:36:35Speaker 1: Sidro says, die nomite. It feels that way. The last
- 1:36:39Speaker 1: several weeks it's been like a ghost town. It's actually
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: rather depressing. But it's okay because then on Mondays and
- 1:36:49Speaker 1: Fridays it picks back up. Not much I can do.
- 1:36:57Speaker 1: That's the sad state of things. When it comes to Wednesdays.
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: What are you gonna do? I'll tell you what we're
- 1:37:01Speaker 1: gonna do. We're gonna do double be the booker right now,
- 1:37:03Speaker 1: that's what we're gonna do. Let do it, ladies and gentlemen.
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: It is now time to be the booker. Solo will
- 1:37:13Speaker 1: start reviewing NXT on Tuesdays and ditch Wednesdays. Yeah, that's
- 1:37:20Speaker 1: not gonna happen. I'm a little busy on Tuesdays. But honestly,
- 1:37:23Speaker 1: even if I wasn't as bad as things have gotten
- 1:37:26Speaker 1: with Dynamite, it would be worse with NXT because on
- 1:37:30Speaker 1: those rare occasions in the past where I've reviewed NXT,
- 1:37:33Speaker 1: like nobody gives a shit. They could talk about how
- 1:37:38Speaker 1: much they think it's a great show and everything, but
- 1:37:40Speaker 1: like nobody, nobody cares. Nobody gives a shit. That would
- 1:37:45Speaker 1: be worse. That would be even worse than Dynamite. Trust me,
- 1:37:52Speaker 1: all right, be the booker. Be the booker, and then
- 1:37:59Speaker 1: I obviously we'll get back to the other super chats
- 1:38:03Speaker 1: I haven't forgotten about. You get them on in. We
- 1:38:06Speaker 1: still have, we have more to come, but we have
- 1:38:08Speaker 1: to we have to get to be the booker. We
- 1:38:11Speaker 1: must begin be the booker. And we are going to
- 1:38:14Speaker 1: begin with father and son. We have Sting and we
- 1:38:19Speaker 1: have Darby. Allen Sting and Darby the former AW Tag
- 1:38:25Speaker 1: team champions. They are gonna be taking on Tyler Breese
- 1:38:34Speaker 1: and Fandango. Love seeing Tyler Breese though back in the
- 1:38:41Speaker 1: old gimmick on NXT this week. That was cool. Fans
- 1:38:45Speaker 1: didn't seem to give a shit, which was kind of sad.
- 1:38:47Speaker 1: But Breezogo was never was never a favorite of mine.
- 1:38:53Speaker 1: It just it just wasn't. On the women's side, we
- 1:39:00Speaker 1: have Hikaru Shida, the former AW Women's World Champion, where
- 1:39:04Speaker 1: she'd have been. I haven't seen her in a while
- 1:39:10Speaker 1: shaving a visa issues. Hikarashida gonna go one on one
- 1:39:14Speaker 1: with Stephanie McMahon Helmsley. Stephanie was very easy on the
- 1:39:24Speaker 1: eyes back then. But as far as her ring skills,
- 1:39:29Speaker 1: I think we could come up with better opponents for Hikarushida.
- 1:39:35Speaker 1: We are headed. We're headed for a reverse sweep here.
- 1:39:37Speaker 1: This is this is not what I was hoping for.
- 1:39:43Speaker 1: Main event. We have him. It is Carmelo Hayes, the
- 1:39:49Speaker 1: winner of the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. See
- 1:39:53Speaker 1: him and dre my god is mis behind him? How
- 1:40:00Speaker 1: long has this story been going on for with him
- 1:40:02Speaker 1: and Miz? How long has it been going on for
- 1:40:06Speaker 1: this partnership? All right, Carmelo Hayes, he was on the
- 1:40:11Speaker 1: show tonight in the US Title Open Challenge. Now he's
- 1:40:15Speaker 1: in the main event against Sting against not just Sting,
- 1:40:30Speaker 1: but it's surfer Sting. Carmelo Hayes and surfers. Thing would
- 1:40:35Speaker 1: actually be a hell of a match. Well, we got saved.
- 1:40:39Speaker 1: We got saved from the reverse sweep, so that's good.
- 1:40:48Speaker 1: Watch we get Sammy. Yeah, that would have been that
- 1:40:49Speaker 1: would have been something if we would have landed on Sammy. Okay,
- 1:40:53Speaker 1: so you guys unlocked round number two. We haven't had
- 1:40:57Speaker 1: a double b the Booker in a few weeks, so
- 1:40:58Speaker 1: this is good. We get to try again. But this
- 1:41:02Speaker 1: time with stipulations. All right, so here we go. Uh oh,
- 1:41:10Speaker 1: we got a brawl for all match. Someone's getting injured.
- 1:41:15Speaker 1: We gotta do a brawl for all. This is gonna end,
- 1:41:22Speaker 1: This is gonna end poorly depending on who we get.
- 1:41:25Speaker 1: This is gonna be very interesting. Actually, in this Brawl
- 1:41:30Speaker 1: for All, we have Sammy Gavara, who has picked a
- 1:41:34Speaker 1: fighter two backstage in his day in aw Sammy Gavara
- 1:41:41Speaker 1: in a brawl for all match. Let's see who gets
- 1:41:44Speaker 1: to beat the ship out of Sammy Gavar. Here in
- 1:41:48Speaker 1: this Brawl for All, we have Sammy Guevara and Papa Shango,
- 1:42:06Speaker 1: Papa fucking Shango in a brawl for all match. Everything
- 1:42:12Speaker 1: about this is just wrong. Papa Shango against Sammy Guevara,
- 1:42:18Speaker 1: then you turn it into a brawl for all. Everything
- 1:42:20Speaker 1: about this is just completely fucked. Although I'm going with
- 1:42:25Speaker 1: Papa Shango just for the record, I'm going with Papa
- 1:42:27Speaker 1: Shango in that match. Sammy doesn't stand the chance. All right,
- 1:42:36Speaker 1: our next stipulation match is going to be a stretcher match,
- 1:42:40Speaker 1: a stretcher match with the ladies. Papa Shango was in
- 1:42:48Speaker 1: the wrong area, you know, there were plans drawn up
- 1:42:50Speaker 1: for Papa Shanko to return in nineteen ninety seven, and
- 1:42:54Speaker 1: they abandoned those plans. They ended up bringing him back
- 1:42:58Speaker 1: as Kama Kama Mustapa. But I do wonder how that
- 1:43:02Speaker 1: would have worked. I think if you were to tweak
- 1:43:06Speaker 1: elements of the Papa Shango character, so like you don't
- 1:43:09Speaker 1: have him putting curses on people and throwing up, you know,
- 1:43:12Speaker 1: pea soup. But I do think it's a it's a
- 1:43:14Speaker 1: pretty cool character that could have worked in that late
- 1:43:18Speaker 1: nineties era with some tweaks. All right, a stretcher match
- 1:43:24Speaker 1: with Mia Yim on one side, Sidro says, A stretch
- 1:43:33Speaker 1: her match with the ladies pause. Yes, this is a
- 1:43:40Speaker 1: stretcher match with Mea Yim and Willow Nightingale. I do
- 1:43:49Speaker 1: love Willow. I'll give it the bell, right, Comma the
- 1:43:59Speaker 1: super Fighting Machine. Remember when he debuted? I said, oh no,
- 1:44:06Speaker 1: I can't wait until they debut. Period. All right, we
- 1:44:14Speaker 1: got one more match and it's gonna be Solemn Monster's
- 1:44:18Speaker 1: choice for the stipulation. Solemn Monster's choice. I guess this
- 1:44:25Speaker 1: is what a tag team match? Or should we just
- 1:44:29Speaker 1: book another men's match? I don't know what what stipulation
- 1:44:33Speaker 1: do I want what stipulation do I want? Um hmmm,
- 1:44:44Speaker 1: that's a really good question. How about we do the
- 1:44:50Speaker 1: Big Blue Cage. I like the Big Blue Cage. That's
- 1:44:54Speaker 1: what we're gonna do. And we're gonna and we're gonna
- 1:44:56Speaker 1: do the men That's what we're gonna do, Big Blue Cage.
- 1:45:05Speaker 1: I'm making an executive decision and booking another men's match
- 1:45:08Speaker 1: here in the main event and inside the Big Blue
- 1:45:10Speaker 1: k What is this. That's the painmaker. It's causing me
- 1:45:17Speaker 1: some pain right now, the painmaker, Chris Jericho. Look at this.
- 1:45:21Speaker 1: Look at this, Look at those muscles flexing those biceps.
- 1:45:25Speaker 1: Look at this. This is what WW we could get
- 1:45:31Speaker 1: back in a matter of months. They may get the
- 1:45:35Speaker 1: pain maker. Everybody. Oh, just the pain Maker against the
- 1:45:48Speaker 1: Undertaker in the Big Blue Cage. Purple Glove Undertaker, I
- 1:45:57Speaker 1: don't know anyway. Those are your two rounds, would be
- 1:46:01Speaker 1: the booker maker versus Taker. See. I like that. Let's
- 1:46:09Speaker 1: get back to these super chats. You just look at
- 1:46:12Speaker 1: a bunch more to get through here we have see here,
- 1:46:22Speaker 1: Jeremy Rose. Any chance that AJ loses tomorrow? Seth stop
- 1:46:30Speaker 1: I assume you mean Seth stomp, not Seth stop. That's possible,
- 1:46:36Speaker 1: but no aj is winning it for her team. Aj
- 1:46:39Speaker 1: Lee is gonna pin Becky Lynch to win. That's my prediction.
- 1:46:46Speaker 1: I don't think aj Lee is returning for her first
- 1:46:48Speaker 1: match in ten years and losing, But it also then
- 1:46:52Speaker 1: sets her up for a match for the Intercontinental title
- 1:46:54Speaker 1: if she pins Becky. Although I do wonder if they're
- 1:47:01Speaker 1: going to do that Crown Jewel format. We didn't have
- 1:47:05Speaker 1: too mid card women's titles last year, now we do.
- 1:47:08Speaker 1: Does that mean we would get Becky Lynch against the Julia?
- 1:47:13Speaker 1: I don't know. Richie says, if the Rock has two
- 1:47:18Speaker 1: matches left on him, and that's all I want to see,
- 1:47:22Speaker 1: who would his opponent be if he only had two
- 1:47:26Speaker 1: matches left, it would be Cody Rhods and Roman Reigns.
- 1:47:29Speaker 1: That's it. Paul Carpenter says, I'm going to need that
- 1:47:35Speaker 1: VPN info solo Well, all you got to do go
- 1:47:39Speaker 1: into the description of this video where it says support
- 1:47:43Speaker 1: my sponsors. The link is right there, so use that
- 1:47:48Speaker 1: link ExpressVPN dot com slash Solo Monster and sign up one.
- 1:47:54Speaker 1: You know you got to pay for it. You got
- 1:47:56Speaker 1: to pay for the year. I believe. Uh but it's
- 1:47:59Speaker 1: it's it's what I did, and when you use that
- 1:48:03Speaker 1: link you get four extra months free. I'm using it.
- 1:48:07Speaker 1: I'm using the VPN now more than ever before, So
- 1:48:12Speaker 1: it's totally worth it. Lavelle, you see Wrestle Palooza being
- 1:48:18Speaker 1: better than All Out, I think it. I think it.
- 1:48:26Speaker 1: I mean it could be. I think from an in
- 1:48:28Speaker 1: ring perspective. All Out also has so many more matches.
- 1:48:32Speaker 1: All Out may end up being the stronger show as
- 1:48:35Speaker 1: far as you know the matches themselves. But could Wrestle
- 1:48:40Speaker 1: Palooza turn out to kind of steal the weekend depending
- 1:48:43Speaker 1: on what happens. You get a couple of bangers and
- 1:48:45Speaker 1: then maybe a big angle that they shoot, and that
- 1:48:49Speaker 1: could make it a better show. Uh So, I can't
- 1:48:52Speaker 1: really sit here and tell you that. You know, I
- 1:48:55Speaker 1: think one show is going to be much better than
- 1:48:57Speaker 1: the other. I'm looking forward to seeing which show, frankly
- 1:49:01Speaker 1: kind of steals the weekend. But it's hard to me.
- 1:49:05Speaker 1: And when you have one show that has literally double
- 1:49:08Speaker 1: or more than double the number of matches of the
- 1:49:09Speaker 1: other show, it would take a super strong show tomorrow
- 1:49:15Speaker 1: to I think, be better than the output we're going
- 1:49:17Speaker 1: to get from all out. I'll just say that. Jeremy says,
- 1:49:24Speaker 1: Graves injury clearly, So McAfee returns tomorrow. Yeah, but we
- 1:49:32Speaker 1: already knew that though. But I guess in terms of
- 1:49:34Speaker 1: the of k FABE, that's how they could explain it.
- 1:49:40Speaker 1: That would make sense. Hey, Solo Mariah or Blake Mariah.
- 1:49:48Speaker 1: Richie says if the rock uh oh, I already read
- 1:49:50Speaker 1: that one. Broley says, SmackDown is in Orlando next week.
- 1:49:55Speaker 1: Give me Javaon and Sammy. They had an interaction on
- 1:49:59Speaker 1: the show just this past week. Sammy was in the
- 1:50:02Speaker 1: back with him. He put him over. Could very well happen.
- 1:50:07Speaker 1: Boots so Layeska took out Demonito with a topey at
- 1:50:11Speaker 1: World's Collide. Mister Soco probably hates these young hand puppets
- 1:50:15Speaker 1: taking unnecessary risks for cheap pops. Well, we don't talk
- 1:50:21Speaker 1: about mister Soco, mister Soaco. As far as I know,
- 1:50:23Speaker 1: last I heard, mister Soco was still in a rehab facility.
- 1:50:28Speaker 1: He fell off the wagon again. He was doing some
- 1:50:32Speaker 1: he was doing the hard stuff. He was doing the
- 1:50:35Speaker 1: hard stuff. I mean, like seriously, like wrapping the tube
- 1:50:38Speaker 1: around his arm. It was bad. So all the best
- 1:50:41Speaker 1: in mister Soco. He's going through some shit right now.
- 1:50:44Speaker 1: He's in rehab. But yeah, they found him. He had
- 1:50:47Speaker 1: track marks all over his arm. It was bad. Boots says,
- 1:50:52Speaker 1: this CMLL crowd is loud. They were loud when Dynamite
- 1:50:57Speaker 1: was at Arena Mexico a few months ago for Grand Slam.
- 1:51:02Speaker 1: Those fans down there are great. He also says some
- 1:51:07Speaker 1: of these CMLL theme entrances are bangers, beats deaf rebel.
- 1:51:13Speaker 1: Doesn't it cripple punk? Again? Thank you for the five
- 1:51:19Speaker 1: dollars super chat power spying games solo. You once gave
- 1:51:22Speaker 1: Stephanie and Chidah a bell, Well, it might have been
- 1:51:26Speaker 1: a different Stephanie. I think I had more than one
- 1:51:29Speaker 1: Stephanie in there tonight. I was feeling a little bit different.
- 1:51:33Speaker 1: I was not feeling as generous as I was that night.
- 1:51:36Speaker 1: Stephanie and Sheida is not a bell. May's the great
- 1:51:44Speaker 1: fifty months of channel membership, not fifteen fifty months of membership.
- 1:51:49Speaker 1: As of now, I am a twenty eight year old man. Everybody,
- 1:51:52Speaker 1: always be thankful for another year on earth. That's great advice.
- 1:51:57Speaker 1: And May's I wish you a very high be birthday.
- 1:52:01Speaker 1: Here's too many more. Always be thankful for your health.
- 1:52:07Speaker 1: Health is wealth. Without it, you have nothing. So here's
- 1:52:12Speaker 1: to many more years of great health and success. Lost
- 1:52:17Speaker 1: dil just tuning in and the lost episode you posted
- 1:52:21Speaker 1: is my birthday, keeping you in my prayers. Solo and Sidrow,
- 1:52:27Speaker 1: thank you lost still March twenty fourth is his birthday? Hey, yes,
- 1:52:31Speaker 1: March twenty fourth, two thousand and eight. That's where that
- 1:52:35Speaker 1: lost episode is from that I posted earlier this evening.
- 1:52:42Speaker 1: SI Scoops Live. We did about thirty four, right, thirty
- 1:52:48Speaker 1: four of those episodes between two thousand and eight and
- 1:52:51Speaker 1: twenty twelve. It was myself and my good buddy Noah
- 1:52:54Speaker 1: Noah the mark and the first two now first two
- 1:52:59Speaker 1: episodes of s HE Scoops Live are up as well,
- 1:53:02Speaker 1: so go check that out. Uh there is Yukio rules
- 1:53:09Speaker 1: with the fifty. Thanks for keeping up with all the
- 1:53:11Speaker 1: wrestling stuff as I don't always have time to watch everything.
- 1:53:14Speaker 1: You're the best. Thank you, Yuki. Oh I watch so
- 1:53:18Speaker 1: you don't have to, so what I always say or
- 1:53:22Speaker 1: if you can you want to but you can't, Yukio.
- 1:53:26Speaker 1: That means a lot. Thank you very much, Dried Chicken
- 1:53:31Speaker 1: says Drew McIntyre said he wants Cody Bottoms. Spoiler, Cody
- 1:53:37Speaker 1: Rhodes passes gas and Drew's faith. He said he wants
- 1:53:40Speaker 1: Cody Bottoms. What back when Solo was twelve, I was
- 1:53:47Speaker 1: not twelve. I only sounded like I was twelve. Some
- 1:53:53Speaker 1: say I still look like I'm twelve. Chris manson celebrating
- 1:53:57Speaker 1: fifty two months of membership. Do you think Jericho is
- 1:54:01Speaker 1: gone from ae W? I do? I think when his
- 1:54:05Speaker 1: contract is up, he's out of there and terrible dry checking.
- 1:54:12Speaker 1: Imagine telling brock Lesner his song is being deaf rebeled
- 1:54:15Speaker 1: to his face. I pray for that poor soul. Well,
- 1:54:18Speaker 1: that will never happen because they will never do that.
- 1:54:24Speaker 1: Can you imagine brock Lesner getting the deaf rebel treatment?
- 1:54:30Speaker 1: What would they put at the beginning of his song? Beast?
- 1:54:35Speaker 1: Is that how his song would begin? Beast? That just
- 1:54:43Speaker 1: goes into some shitty generic music. Oh man, that will
- 1:54:48Speaker 1: never ever happen. Well, thank you guys, you just hit
- 1:54:53Speaker 1: the two hour mark. We covered SmackDown tonight, all the
- 1:54:56Speaker 1: ins and outs, the good, the bad. It was a
- 1:54:59Speaker 1: decent home show, but again without the US title open
- 1:55:02Speaker 1: challenges men, These shows would be in real trouble because
- 1:55:07Speaker 1: right now that is the thing that is really carrying
- 1:55:09Speaker 1: these shows. But tomorrow is Wressel Palooza. I will be
- 1:55:14Speaker 1: live on YouTube at the end of that show, so
- 1:55:17Speaker 1: that is what we will be talking about tomorrow. I
- 1:55:19Speaker 1: will be watching all out and tweeting along during the show,
- 1:55:22Speaker 1: but I'm gonna save my review for the SoundOff on Sunday.
- 1:55:25Speaker 1: So that is the way the schedule is shaping up
- 1:55:27Speaker 1: for this weekend, and then back with you live for
- 1:55:30Speaker 1: the Raw post show on Monday night. So that is
- 1:55:34Speaker 1: the plan. Leopoldo says, when is your birthday? Mine is
- 1:55:37Speaker 1: October twenty eighth. Mine is October sixth. I share a
- 1:55:42Speaker 1: birthday with two notables in wrestling history. I actually share
- 1:55:47Speaker 1: a birthday with Bruno, Sam Martino and Dixie Carter. I
- 1:55:53Speaker 1: don't think I mean you find two more polar opposites. Bruno,
- 1:55:58Speaker 1: Sam Martino, Dixie Carter and the solomonst What a trio.
- 1:56:06Speaker 1: But it's coming up. And yes, if if you're not
- 1:56:09Speaker 1: on your VPN, get your VPN. I got one for you.
- 1:56:13Speaker 1: Trust me, It's gonna make your life a lot easier.
- 1:56:17Speaker 1: I'll be VPN ing and netflixing my Wrestle Palooza tomorrow
- 1:56:23Speaker 1: and let you know how it goes. But yes, be
- 1:56:25Speaker 1: aware that this is the first pl E that is
- 1:56:29Speaker 1: not on Peacock. Seven Eastern is when wressell Palooza starts
- 1:56:34Speaker 1: three pm Eastern for all out, It's gonna be a
- 1:56:37Speaker 1: busy day of wrestling tomorrow. What a faction? Yes, what
- 1:56:44Speaker 1: a birthday lineup? I know, Hey, Bruno May Me and Bruno.
- 1:56:47Speaker 1: That's pretty cool, right, I think that's a pretty good
- 1:56:50Speaker 1: company to be in only a few weeks away. I
- 1:56:55Speaker 1: hope you guys are gonna hang out with me. We'll
- 1:56:56Speaker 1: have a little birthday party that night. Uh well, stay safe,
- 1:57:02Speaker 1: have yourselves a great night. Thank you for all of
- 1:57:04Speaker 1: the support and making this a fun night, and let's
- 1:57:07Speaker 1: make it a fun night tomorrow as well. I'll see
- 1:57:11Speaker 1: you guys for the stream tomorrow. Until then, take care, guys,
