- 0:24Speaker 2: That's what happens when you don't buy Zelmans. When you do,

- 1:24Speaker 2: I'm talking to my mic Here we go is how
- 1:27Speaker 2: is that? As we get started on the show, our
- 1:30Speaker 2: professional show. This is the Bill Handle Show. This is
- 1:33Speaker 2: an award winning show, and unfortunately it actually is. If
- 1:38Speaker 2: I could go down the list of awards that this
- 1:41Speaker 2: show has garnered, you will say that's an impossibility. That
- 1:45Speaker 2: is humanly impossible. All right, go figure anyway, morning everybody,
- 1:53Speaker 2: as we start on a let me look at this
- 1:56Speaker 2: a Tuesday morning, November twenty, coming up a day after tomorrow,
- 2:03Speaker 2: of course, is the one and only Thanksgiving. Oh, I
- 2:06Speaker 2: got a great story coming up at seven thirty.
- 2:09Speaker 1: How you are not going to enjoy Thanksgiving?
- 2:13Speaker 3: You know?
- 2:13Speaker 1: It's of course what else would I do?
- 2:15Speaker 2: How this is gonna be the worst Thanksgiving that you
- 2:17Speaker 2: have ever experienced.
- 2:19Speaker 1: And I'll explain why and you will know. In the meantime.
- 2:23Speaker 2: Let me say hello, Cono, good morning, good morning, good morning.
- 2:27Speaker 2: And there's Amy, good morning, Hi Bill, Hi, Will Coleschreiber.
- 2:31Speaker 1: Good morning Bill. Oh god, everybody's a happy mood. I
- 2:34Speaker 1: got to change that one around.
- 2:36Speaker 4: Well, that you just threatened to wreck our Thanksgiving, so
- 2:38Speaker 4: we're trying to counter that.
- 2:39Speaker 2: Oh and I'm not threatening to wreck it. I am
- 2:41Speaker 2: going to record. And that's because there is this does
- 2:45Speaker 2: not be just prognosticati prognosticating or just flying off the
- 2:50Speaker 2: handle or having an opinion.
- 2:51Speaker 1: Oh no, no, no, no, this is for real. Good morning, Anne,
- 2:56Speaker 1: good morning Bill. Okay.
- 2:58Speaker 2: And then there's Neil, who is at disney Land yesterday.
- 3:00Speaker 2: And the first thing I asked you, Neil, was was
- 3:03Speaker 2: it crowded? Was it crowded? Because I love talking about
- 3:06Speaker 2: how the crowds that disney Land.
- 3:08Speaker 5: It was pretty full, but it was festive. We didn't
- 3:10Speaker 5: have any problems. It was uh oh it was. It
- 3:14Speaker 5: was crowds. It was festively crowded.
- 3:17Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 3:17Speaker 2: It's like it's like sardines jumping up and down in
- 3:20Speaker 2: their can being so thrilled.
- 3:22Speaker 1: Being there is.
- 3:24Speaker 5: So orderly and clean, and you're not worrying about it.
- 3:29Speaker 6: It just it's the best.
- 3:31Speaker 2: And I yes, you've just described life in North Korea.
- 3:37Speaker 1: Oh so orderly, so festive. I don't know, it was great,
- 3:42Speaker 1: it was anyway, okay, got it?
- 3:46Speaker 6: Enough?
- 3:47Speaker 2: All right, enough of that. I'm going a little bit
- 3:49Speaker 2: too far, you know. And the shame of it all
- 3:50Speaker 2: is I really like Disneyland. I think it's an absolutely
- 3:54Speaker 2: fabulous place. Uh it's just as it's it's a little
- 3:57Speaker 2: too crowded for me.
- 3:58Speaker 4: You just don't like people.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Well that's a given. And you know the problem is
- 4:01Speaker 1: we go back to other people.
- 4:03Speaker 2: Yes, as I have said, we go back to the
- 4:06Speaker 2: days when I could go to Disneyland, and I remember
- 4:09Speaker 2: the unfortunately vividly where midweek January February March.
- 4:14Speaker 1: Nobody was in the park. It was completely empty and
- 4:16Speaker 1: there was zero weight. And that is that sticks with you. Okay.
- 4:22Speaker 2: Now, before we get to the news, we have the
- 4:26Speaker 2: auction items which are going to go until the evening
- 4:30Speaker 2: of Pastathon, which will be December one, Pastason December two,
- 4:36Speaker 2: and it's there's some fun items this year.
- 4:40Speaker 1: An hour with John Colebilt. Why people would pay for that?
- 4:44Speaker 2: It already already has gone her two thy seven and
- 4:47Speaker 2: twenty seven dollars. That's a weird number, but John always
- 4:50Speaker 2: does well. Gary and Shannon not yet. Dodgers game with
- 4:55Speaker 2: Dean and Tina. Dean and Tina not yet. It will
- 4:58Speaker 2: come and there'll be some good numbers.
- 5:01Speaker 5: Coaching the picture Dean is smooching his wife. No, I
- 5:04Speaker 5: didn't see the picture yet. That would be incomfortable if
- 5:07Speaker 5: I went to the Dodgers and they were making out
- 5:09Speaker 5: in the stands.
- 5:10Speaker 2: Oh, there you are, and then put on the jumbo screen,
- 5:12Speaker 2: you know, like Michelle was on the jumbo screen when
- 5:15Speaker 2: she was flashing at a should have kissed in our photo,
- 5:21Speaker 2: pardon you, and I should have kicked I know, But
- 5:23Speaker 2: that's sort of a given. A coaching meeting with doctor Wendy.
- 5:28Speaker 2: I was going to bid for one. I was going
- 5:30Speaker 2: to bid for that, but one meeting with doctor Wendy
- 5:32Speaker 2: wouldn't begin to.
- 5:34Speaker 1: Touch my issues.
- 5:36Speaker 2: As a matter of fact, I would be halfway through
- 5:38Speaker 2: explaining the problems I have during.
- 5:41Speaker 1: The initial meeting, so I hope she wouldn't touch the issue.
- 5:46Speaker 2: There we go, Angel Martinez with her Nazi sandals as.
- 5:51Speaker 1: Naughty naughty, naughty.
- 5:54Speaker 5: Naughty sandals, and they're beautiful and incredibly well made.
- 5:59Speaker 1: I guess I miss eating this. Yeah, Okay, got it, understood,
- 6:05Speaker 1: young lady.
- 6:06Speaker 2: Okay, And so far the backyard barbecue with us Neil,
- 6:12Speaker 2: that's Bill and' neil, And this one we've never done before,
- 6:16Speaker 2: and that is a private backyard barbecue. We're going to
- 6:20Speaker 2: broadcast yet and the winner and a guest will join
- 6:24Speaker 2: us for this private barbecue. It'll be we had a
- 6:28Speaker 2: bunch of grill masters coming and Anaheim White House is
- 6:31Speaker 2: going to be catering it. I mean, it's it's a
- 6:33Speaker 2: big deal and people are going to be winners are
- 6:35Speaker 2: going to be invited to the house, and there will
- 6:38Speaker 2: be some additional perks. For example, uh, sitting in my chair,
- 6:43Speaker 2: which I broadcast from of which during the summer I
- 6:46Speaker 2: am butt naked and sweat into the chair. So that
- 6:50Speaker 2: is h that's a good one. And you're also going
- 6:54Speaker 2: to get a two thousand dollars set of cookwaar from
- 6:57Speaker 2: Lake Industries as well as the years of Zelman's so
- 7:02Speaker 2: it's going to be a good time and plenty of alcohol.
- 7:04Speaker 2: So good time will be had by all. Okay, and
- 7:07Speaker 2: by the way, so far five thousand dollars. That was
- 7:11Speaker 2: the initial bid. I didn't think we were in even
- 7:13Speaker 2: going to get the initial bid, so that's kind of neat.
- 7:17Speaker 6: And that's that's in the lead currently, So.
- 7:20Speaker 1: Yeah, it is in the lead.
- 7:21Speaker 2: But then again, enough people hate us that they want
- 7:24Speaker 2: to know what we are like in real life.
- 7:29Speaker 6: Hate us?
- 7:30Speaker 2: Well, okay, enough people hate us minus one and what
- 7:34Speaker 2: we are going to be in real life? Okay, guys,
- 7:40Speaker 2: the gem of the ie and I will report on.
- 7:43Speaker 2: Oh and you get a ride in the elevator that's
- 7:46Speaker 2: right up to the penthouse all the way from the
- 7:50Speaker 2: first floor to the penthouse, and what else.
- 7:53Speaker 1: Got a a lot of fun stuff going on. By
- 7:56Speaker 1: the way, is there any way that we can get
- 7:58Speaker 1: Cono down to the actual mote because ladies were asking
- 8:03Speaker 1: about him last year. He's shaking, no, can we don't
- 8:07Speaker 1: we have anybody to fill in? My goodness? I was like,
- 8:11Speaker 1: you know, and you know the morning crew?
- 8:13Speaker 2: Are you also get to meet the morning crew, of
- 8:16Speaker 2: which I had no intention, zero intention of inviting until
- 8:21Speaker 2: Lindsey said you have to invite the morning crew and
- 8:25Speaker 2: I broke down. So you also get to meet the
- 8:28Speaker 2: morning crew.
- 8:29Speaker 5: What we all said that it's stupid for you not
- 8:33Speaker 5: to bring the morning crew. Hey, if Cono can't come,
- 8:37Speaker 5: can't we kind of I don't know, shave one of
- 8:40Speaker 5: Amy's cats and put a cap on it.
- 8:42Speaker 2: Yeah, we could, we could, and we could also of
- 8:44Speaker 2: course we're going to video it h and show it
- 8:47Speaker 2: to Cono and go, look what you missed. It's we
- 8:51Speaker 2: don't have we don't have one. We don't have one
- 8:54Speaker 2: board omp that can fill in for you. Cony No, no, no, no,
- 8:57Speaker 2: no oh, you just don't want to come.
- 8:59Speaker 1: I want the listener. No, no one can do this job.
- 9:05Speaker 1: I just said. That's what I just said. I know,
- 9:08Speaker 1: that's what I'm saying. That's why I cannot's I'm shaking
- 9:10Speaker 1: my head. I canst around. I cannot do no matter
- 9:13Speaker 1: what you got to.
- 9:14Speaker 2: Ask, because a lot of people were asking for cono.
- 9:19Speaker 1: Okay, anyway, let's move on.
- 9:20Speaker 2: We got plenty of news to cover, and we got
- 9:23Speaker 2: a story that we knew was going to happen.
- 9:26Speaker 1: Handle on the news, Amy Neil and Me lead story.
- 9:29Speaker 3: Judge, absolutely no surprise that the federal judge tossed out
- 9:38Speaker 3: the criminal charges against former FAI director James Comi and
- 9:42Speaker 3: New York Attorney General Letitia James.
- 9:45Speaker 2: Now not because of the underlying issues. It was a
- 9:49Speaker 2: technical issue that the judge threw out the case. And
- 9:54Speaker 2: the reason is I'll talk more about that. I think
- 9:56Speaker 2: it's seven o'clock the more. The big reason is the
- 10:00Speaker 2: way that Trump administration brought this case to the grand
- 10:03Speaker 2: jury was so bonehead, was so ridiculously stupid. And I'll
- 10:08Speaker 2: talk about that. And it truly is a technicality, you
- 10:12Speaker 2: know how they often say, oh, a technicality got off.
- 10:14Speaker 2: This was the reason this thing fell apart. And I'll
- 10:17Speaker 2: explain that later on.
- 10:22Speaker 4: Mark Kelly may have some explaining to do to the Pentagon.
- 10:26Speaker 4: The Pentagon says it's investigating Democratic Arizona Senator Mark Kelly
- 10:31Speaker 4: in light of serious allegations of misconduct they could recall
- 10:36Speaker 4: him to active duty to face court martial or administrative punishment. Now,
- 10:40Speaker 4: this is all tied to Kelly and five other Democratic
- 10:43Speaker 4: lawmakers who posted a video telling service members that they
- 10:47Speaker 4: must disobey illegal orders from the president, but didn't say
- 10:52Speaker 4: what those illegal orders are. Kelly was a senior officer
- 10:55Speaker 4: who retired from the Navy, so he was required to
- 10:57Speaker 4: stay available to be recalled to the military.
- 11:00Speaker 1: Harry by law.
- 11:00Speaker 2: Yeah, a couple of things about that. Number One, he's
- 11:03Speaker 2: a sitting senator, so that becomes a little problematic. Number Two,
- 11:07Speaker 2: what they said is law, you are required not to
- 11:11Speaker 2: follow illegal orders. Now the issue is what's illegal and
- 11:15Speaker 2: what is not. And heg said is crazy. And if
- 11:19Speaker 2: they bring him back for the sole purpose of court
- 11:22Speaker 2: martialing him and demoting him, and they're going to go
- 11:25Speaker 2: for quote sedition, that's another one that's stupid. The death penalty,
- 11:29Speaker 2: that's just wrong. It's twenty years if you it's just
- 11:31Speaker 2: all of it sort of stupid, stupid, upon stupid.
- 11:35Speaker 1: He said, they did. You're at home. He did what
- 11:37Speaker 1: they did?
- 11:38Speaker 2: Yeah, what they did is First Amendment. It is First Amendment.
- 11:41Speaker 2: It is not sedition. You know what was sedition for real.
- 11:44Speaker 1: Uh, the overrunning of.
- 11:45Speaker 2: The capitol with twelve hundred people, that was real sedition
- 11:49Speaker 2: and of course they.
- 11:50Speaker 6: Were military personnel. Does don't have the right.
- 11:55Speaker 1: They don't have the same rights they have. But he
- 11:57Speaker 1: is a civilian. He is a civilian.
- 12:01Speaker 2: That's one of the problems that they're going to have.
- 12:03Speaker 2: And because he could, but he hasn't been.
- 12:05Speaker 4: Recalled, right, But they will, and then they'll make him
- 12:08Speaker 4: say it again.
- 12:09Speaker 1: I don't know if you will. I don't know if
- 12:11Speaker 1: you will.
- 12:11Speaker 2: But if he admits, all all he'll admit is yes,
- 12:14Speaker 2: I said it, but I said it as a civilian.
- 12:17Speaker 2: I mean, this guy, they're never going to charge him,
- 12:19Speaker 2: never in a million years.
- 12:20Speaker 1: That one has way too many holes, all right.
- 12:24Speaker 5: La to host the first Congressional hearing on effective immigration raid.
- 12:29Speaker 5: So they're poking through all of the stories from the
- 12:35Speaker 5: Long Beach Mayor of Boyle Heights. Pastor spoke out all
- 12:39Speaker 5: these stories of people being not only illegal in the
- 12:45Speaker 5: end documented but also legal residents and or American citizens
- 12:52Speaker 5: and issues that went down with that. So they're saying
- 12:55Speaker 5: that that many people don't feel safe around the ice
- 13:00Speaker 5: being enforced here. La Mayor Karen Bass and top Democratic
- 13:06Speaker 5: House Oversight and Government Reform committees announced last month that
- 13:10Speaker 5: they were opening a broad investigation with Congress.
- 13:14Speaker 2: Yeah, I love La Mayor Karen Bass saying that Congress
- 13:20Speaker 2: is going to open an investigation. I am part of that.
- 13:22Speaker 2: Give me a break, okay, And then, of course it's
- 13:25Speaker 2: the Democrat who is opening it. But how far do
- 13:28Speaker 2: you think that's going to go when the Republicans in
- 13:31Speaker 2: fact control all the committees in the House.
- 13:35Speaker 4: Closing in on a deal, Apparently, Ukraine's government has agreed
- 13:40Speaker 4: to a peace deal brokered by the Trump administration to
- 13:42Speaker 4: stop Russia's nearly four year invasion. It said that details
- 13:47Speaker 4: do need to still be worked out, but that Ukrainian
- 13:49Speaker 4: President Volodimir Zelensky could travel through DC before the end
- 13:53Speaker 4: of this month to finalize the agreement. The news comes
- 13:57Speaker 4: as the US Army Secretary Dan Risco was an Abu
- 14:01Speaker 4: Dhabi meeting with Russian officials.
- 14:04Speaker 2: Yeah, it turns out that once this is done, and
- 14:06Speaker 2: considering what the president is insisting on, and the President's
- 14:09Speaker 2: going to probably make the call. Here is why did
- 14:13Speaker 2: Ukraine even fight Russians came in. They wanted the don
- 14:18Speaker 2: Bass region. They're getting it. They point to this other
- 14:23Speaker 2: place we also want that.
- 14:24Speaker 1: They're getting it.
- 14:26Speaker 2: We don't want a we don't want a robust military
- 14:33Speaker 2: from Ukraine. We're knocking thirty percent of their number of
- 14:38Speaker 2: soldiers off the table. They're getting it. No, they don't
- 14:43Speaker 2: want Ukraine ever to go to NATO. They're getting it.
- 14:47Speaker 2: They're getting everything they want. The Russians. Why bother with
- 14:51Speaker 2: the war. That's the problem that's going on here. That's
- 14:55Speaker 2: the peace proposal. So, I mean, they're going to have
- 14:58Speaker 2: to give up something. So here's the news.
- 15:02Speaker 1: Guys.
- 15:03Speaker 2: If you happen to be a country and you want
- 15:05Speaker 2: parts of the other country, just invade.
- 15:09Speaker 1: That's all.
- 15:09Speaker 2: That's all you got to do is invade and the
- 15:12Speaker 2: piece comes out that you're gonna get what you're gonna get.
- 15:15Speaker 2: It's it's that disgusting, it really is. It's it's horrific.
- 15:21Speaker 2: This is a crazy story. So you've got this national
- 15:25Speaker 2: landlord group, Gray Star. They manage dozens of apartment complexes
- 15:31Speaker 2: in southern California. They're settling a lawsuit now. The lawsuit
- 15:36Speaker 2: alleges that the this massive property giant and other landlords
- 15:42Speaker 2: got together and colluded to keep rents artificially high.
- 15:46Speaker 1: They use this.
- 15:48Speaker 5: It's you know, this this page, this digital page that
- 15:54Speaker 5: keeps all the pricing. Its software that they use that
- 15:58Speaker 5: all these apartment operations use, and it sets rent prices.
- 16:02Speaker 6: Right.
- 16:03Speaker 5: So apparently they're accused of working together to keep these
- 16:08Speaker 5: vacant units at a higher price, to keep it artificially inflated.
- 16:15Speaker 2: That's collusion, for straight collusion. And you're not allowed to
- 16:18Speaker 2: do that.
- 16:18Speaker 1: That's it.
- 16:19Speaker 2: And of course they settle and didn't do anything wrong,
- 16:23Speaker 2: did not admit fault. How unusual.
- 16:27Speaker 4: Well, Grandma's gone. After more than a century roaming around
- 16:32Speaker 4: the San Diego Zoo, a beloved Galapagos tortoise named Grandma died.
- 16:38Speaker 4: She's the oldest resident of the zoo. She was estimated
- 16:41Speaker 4: to be about one hundred and forty one years old.
- 16:43Speaker 4: A zoo official say she came from the Bronx Zoo
- 16:46Speaker 4: in either nineteen twenty eight or thirty one as part
- 16:48Speaker 4: of its first Galopagos tortoise group. She lived through two
- 16:51Speaker 4: World Wars and twenty US presidents.
- 16:55Speaker 2: Wow, it's impressive, so has Bill, Yeah, go up. Those
- 17:00Speaker 2: turtles last a very long time.
- 17:02Speaker 5: Is it true that that she got ran over by
- 17:05Speaker 5: a reindeer.
- 17:09Speaker 6: No, okay, I read different.
- 17:13Speaker 1: Yeah, yes you do.
- 17:14Speaker 6: News outlet, Yeah okay.
- 17:16Speaker 1: White House.
- 17:18Speaker 5: You know they were going to unveil their new healthcare
- 17:21Speaker 5: cost proposal. This has been something a sticking point that
- 17:26Speaker 5: has been, you know, overshadowing all of the government shut
- 17:31Speaker 5: down and all of that. But they have postponed it.
- 17:34Speaker 5: They were going to roll out a new proposal to
- 17:37Speaker 5: address healthcare just yesterday, I believe, and this was going
- 17:41Speaker 5: to avert, hopefully the spike and premiums driven by the
- 17:44Speaker 5: expiration of the Affordable Care Act.
- 17:47Speaker 1: Want what you want.
- 17:48Speaker 2: A Republican has been fighting Obamacare since it was created.
- 17:52Speaker 2: We have a better plan, we have a better plan.
- 17:55Speaker 2: Just let us do our better plan. They have yet
- 17:58Speaker 2: to have a better plan, and that they've never come
- 18:01Speaker 2: up They've never come up with any plan, not eve one.
- 18:06Speaker 2: But we're gonna we finally have one. Oh no, we
- 18:09Speaker 2: actually don't. We thought we did, but no, it's going
- 18:13Speaker 2: to be postponed.
- 18:15Speaker 5: Wouldn't be funny if the actual idea is just to
- 18:18Speaker 5: rename it trump Care, that would.
- 18:20Speaker 1: Be Hilda, that would be hilarious.
- 18:22Speaker 2: I'll tell you when this is going to blow up
- 18:24Speaker 2: in the Republicans' faces is come January thirty one, when
- 18:29Speaker 2: there's going to be another shutdown. We're looking at another
- 18:33Speaker 2: shutdown and we have yet to have a plan that
- 18:36Speaker 2: the Republicans are going to put forward. And if that
- 18:40Speaker 2: happens and people lose all their insurance because they have
- 18:43Speaker 2: a better plan, and it won't happen.
- 18:45Speaker 6: You know what.
- 18:46Speaker 2: This is exactly the same argument as day one prices
- 18:50Speaker 2: will be in half. You'll pay half of the prices
- 18:54Speaker 2: you're paying day one. Not really, and the new plan
- 19:00Speaker 2: not really. You wait till the midterms come. If it
- 19:02Speaker 2: keeps ongoing the way it's going, it's not going to
- 19:06Speaker 2: be pleasant for the Republican Party.
- 19:08Speaker 1: All right, we can do one more and then we'll
- 19:10Speaker 1: take a break.
- 19:11Speaker 4: Inglewood Police now required to post so apparently they've been
- 19:15Speaker 4: violating state public records. In an Ella County Superior Coorp
- 19:18Speaker 4: judge granted an ACLU motion for summary judgment. They said
- 19:23Speaker 4: that the Inglewood Police Department demonstrated a pattern and practice
- 19:27Speaker 4: of failing to comply with statutory obligations, meaning they didn't
- 19:32Speaker 4: comply for requests for police misconduct, including fatal shootings, documents
- 19:37Speaker 4: and those kinds of things. So now they have to
- 19:39Speaker 4: post the information on the website.
- 19:47Speaker 5: Sad story continues to unfold the death of that eighteen
- 19:51Speaker 5: year old girl on the Carnival cruise ship.
- 19:53Speaker 6: Her name was Anna Kepner.
- 19:56Speaker 5: It's been ruled a homicide and they say it's mechanical affixiation,
- 20:02Speaker 5: so that is obviously someone being choked.
- 20:06Speaker 6: Uh there.
- 20:07Speaker 5: They haven't come out and said, you know who the
- 20:09Speaker 5: suspect is, but there is some focus around Kepner's stepbrother.
- 20:16Speaker 5: We'll see how that pans out. But she was with
- 20:18Speaker 5: her grandparents or father, her stepmother, siblings and step siblings.
- 20:23Speaker 5: And I've read all kinds of stories about this and
- 20:26Speaker 5: how you know, don't know if they're true or not
- 20:29Speaker 5: about the stepbrother was infatuated with her in different other claims,
- 20:33Speaker 5: So we'll have to wait and see. But she was
- 20:36Speaker 5: found wrapped in a blanket with uh the life jacket
- 20:42Speaker 5: on under a bed, So I don't know if something,
- 20:47Speaker 5: you know, would you put a life jacket on somebody
- 20:49Speaker 5: if you're going to roll them off the side of a.
- 20:52Speaker 2: Well.
- 20:52Speaker 4: And then that and then that she was surrounded by
- 20:55Speaker 4: life vests as well, like they thought, oh we'll hide
- 20:58Speaker 4: her this way or take.
- 21:01Speaker 2: A break, guys, because we are running a little bit late. Connor,
- 21:04Speaker 2: I'm sorry. I was trying to get the printer working.
- 21:08Speaker 1: Okay.
- 21:09Speaker 2: It is a Tuesday morning, November twenty fifth, and I
- 21:11Speaker 2: actually am going to pay attention to the news this time,
- 21:14Speaker 2: as I was trying to get my printer to work,
- 21:19Speaker 2: and I was harassed by the morning crew.
- 21:22Speaker 1: Why don't we move on?
- 21:26Speaker 4: So she was only mostly dead, not completely dead. This
- 21:30Speaker 4: is a bizarre story out of Thailand. A woman apparently
- 21:35Speaker 4: died in quotes in Thailand and her sixty five or
- 21:39Speaker 4: her brother said, well, I'm gonna take her up and
- 21:42Speaker 4: get her cremated. So he drove like three hundred miles
- 21:45Speaker 4: to the place where he could get her cremated. And
- 21:48Speaker 4: then she started knocking on the coffin, so she wasn't
- 21:53Speaker 4: quite gone. Apparently her health had deteriorated. It's very sad.
- 21:57Speaker 4: She became unresponsive and stopped breathing, apparently a couple of
- 22:01Speaker 4: days ago. So that's when he took her off to
- 22:04Speaker 4: be cremated, and then she.
- 22:05Speaker 5: Started, oh, oh it's hot.
- 22:11Speaker 4: Well they got there before that started.
- 22:13Speaker 5: Oh, not much to say, all right, there is strange
- 22:17Speaker 5: alignment in a world of discontent and complete you know,
- 22:23Speaker 5: left right, all this. There's a new study out of
- 22:25Speaker 5: loyal LA mayormount that says that the vast majority of
- 22:30Speaker 5: LA County is in agreement on one particular topic, that
- 22:34Speaker 5: things are not going so good here in the city
- 22:37Speaker 5: of Angels So hundreds of Angelino's conducted this study. University's
- 22:44Speaker 5: Study LA team found that registered voters in Los Angeles
- 22:48Speaker 5: County think the government is off track and many believe
- 22:53Speaker 5: the only way to write the ship is with sweeping reform.
- 22:58Speaker 6: No.
- 23:02Speaker 2: Yeah, and this is not just La. This is across
- 23:05Speaker 2: the country. People are really not happy.
- 23:08Speaker 6: I can't worry about all of them. I have to
- 23:10Speaker 6: worry about my own city. Yeah.
- 23:12Speaker 2: The confidence factor, the confidence index is truly in the toilet.
- 23:18Speaker 5: Well, they're mismanaging everything, all the money, the homeless situation
- 23:22Speaker 5: are you know, mass transit, everything is so wickedly mismanaged.
- 23:28Speaker 2: Let me ask you a question, is have we reached
- 23:31Speaker 2: the point where government is ungovernable, where it.
- 23:36Speaker 1: Almost doesn't matter what you do.
- 23:38Speaker 2: It has its own The inertia has hit and it's
- 23:41Speaker 2: moving down a track that no one can really, you
- 23:44Speaker 2: can't take it off the track.
- 23:45Speaker 5: You have to do something to have inertia. There's they're
- 23:48Speaker 5: not no one's doing anything, and they're worrying about things
- 23:52Speaker 5: that are are are Listen, we all are concerned about
- 23:56Speaker 5: the climate, all of us. But I sometimes it seems
- 23:59Speaker 5: like where we won't spend money on our fourteen year
- 24:04Speaker 5: old child that needs a huge operation because we want
- 24:09Speaker 5: to have the money for their college, and it's like, well,
- 24:12Speaker 5: your kids can an example without the operation.
- 24:14Speaker 2: Example, and we're not going to spend money. Well, now
- 24:17Speaker 2: we're talking political climate change.
- 24:20Speaker 5: We have had real with things now in the now
- 24:23Speaker 5: that have to be done before then.
- 24:25Speaker 2: Okay, so listen, by the way, you sound like Bill Gates,
- 24:28Speaker 2: That's exactly what he's saying.
- 24:29Speaker 1: All right.
- 24:29Speaker 4: Moving on, Trump's going there, She's coming here. President Trump
- 24:36Speaker 4: says that he's going to head two Beijing in April,
- 24:39Speaker 4: and then we'll host Chinese President Jijinping for a state
- 24:43Speaker 4: visit later in twenty twenty six. Trump announced those plans
- 24:47Speaker 4: after he and she got off a phone call on Monday.
- 24:51Speaker 4: He said, our relationship with China is extremely strong. Now
- 24:55Speaker 4: we can set our sites on the big picture. And
- 24:58Speaker 4: then they announced the ravel plans after detailing a trade
- 25:02Speaker 4: deal framework with China. That will mean that soybeans will
- 25:06Speaker 4: be purchased by China, and that also export restrictions on
- 25:11Speaker 4: rare earth minerals will be loosened.
- 25:13Speaker 2: Yeah, that's this week, and the only reason that decision
- 25:18Speaker 2: is going to stay till the end of the week
- 25:19Speaker 2: is because it's Thanksgiving week. Come Monday Tuesday of next week,
- 25:23Speaker 2: it will probably be a whole different set of circumstances
- 25:28Speaker 2: as to where who is going to go and what's
- 25:31Speaker 2: going to change. I think we have time to finish
- 25:34Speaker 2: one more.
- 25:35Speaker 5: Yeah, we've heard of flights being canceled before, but very
- 25:39Speaker 5: rarely is it because of a volcano. But flights have
- 25:42Speaker 5: been canceled after an Ethiopian volcano erupts for the first
- 25:47Speaker 5: time in twelve thousand years. So it puts this massive
- 25:53Speaker 5: ash cloud. You know, we've seen that before that not
- 25:56Speaker 5: only is it because of visuals, but the particulates.
- 26:00Speaker 2: Yeah, mountsand Hells for example, a rand blast. Yeah, when
- 26:03Speaker 2: Mount Stanton Hellis blew up in Washington. I mean that
- 26:07Speaker 2: cloud then was the one that blew up in Iceland
- 26:09Speaker 2: where the airplanes had to go around the whole thing.
- 26:13Speaker 6: Yeah, because it could cause damage to the engine.
- 26:15Speaker 1: Sure, sure, Okay, I think we're done. Guys. That is it.
- 26:20Speaker 2: KFI AM sixty you've been listening to the Bill Handle Show.
