Well I don't know. Today is no, today is mostly news. Uh-huh. So it's like we don't even have to do like Mickey Memos and Dreamlight Diaries because the whole thing is Mickey Memos and Dreamlight Diaries. Mm-hmm. But we do have a fun accessory They're cute. These are our Halloween ears. We got them in. Very orange. Very orange. But very pumpkiny. Prefer the Etsy ones. For the fit. Mm-hmm. These are just so like tight. But we'll see how long they last. We wanna go to the Gideon's place. What's it called again? Something Ravens or is it Six Six Ravens? I don't remember. we wanna do that. Which we'll have all day Saturday to do stuff like that too. Yep. So yeah, I mean I just so I just Jock Lindsay's doesn't take reservations though. Okay. So but they also have food, so we could definitely do that for dinner. Mm-hmm. I know, I haven't seen a lot of like reviews or anything. The reviews I've seen are like, it's a glorified hot pocket. So I mean that's essentially what it is though. Yeah. So but like can you still can you can you eat a hot pocket? Will you be able to I I think I could eat that hot pocket. Some inside joke, guys. It's not that traumatized. It's not that inside. You're just traumatized from hot pockets 'cause it's all you ate in high school for lunch. Mm-hmm. Cause it was easy. Yeah. And cheap. It was mostly honestly it was mostly the high school microwave that I had to put again that gross me out. Yes. Because ew. Yes. yeah. I agree. I agree. Okay, so yeah, I'll be making I guess by the next time we record I'll have our reservation our dining reservations made. Which means I guess you can't look in the app. I haven't been. That I mean there's not that much. Now that you know where we're staying. Yeah. All that's left is The dining reservation. But I hope you can see your party ticket. That's the important thing. It is very possible. But there's not that much stuff for you, so don't worry about it. I did figure out because we talked about making keychains, and I was like, well, I can't find a pumpkin Mickey. It's a focal bead for like a pen. I can't find one. But what I did find out is that I can take a crock charm and cut off the part that goes into the croc and we get some of like that super industrial y whatever glue and glue it to one of the silicone beads that we we can make the keychains with. Okay. So that could be a fun little activity for us to do together. And there's I mean there's a bunch of Disney ones, I'm assuming. I already got the Mickey Pumpkin crop things. okay. Okay. Yeah. Got it. So aren't they called what are they called? Dibbets. Yeah. So weird. all right. Well, I guess let's just Did you well anything else before we get into it? Did you well you were out of town? I did not get to watch anything for D twenty three 'cause I was out of town. It was it was kinda cool. Like I I didn't watch it last year. And we had already started doing the pod. But last year it wasn't last year it was It's called something else. Destination D twenty three. Okay. Are the odd years at Walt Disney World. Okay. D twenty three is the big one every other year on the Evens. Okay. In Disneyland. Got it. So. It was kinda cool. It was like I was like, I wanna go here one day. I definitely wanna go. Morgan's cousin. He was like, Amy's in Disneyland and I'm like, What? And then a kid came back to school today. He like, Yeah, I went to Disneyland and I like, Whoa, well, did you go to Disneyland or did you go to Disneylor? And he goes, Disneylor. And then I was like, okay. But then he I guess his parents probably lied to him. They were like, Star Wars was closed though. And I was like, okay. But I was like, Did you see the castle? And he was like, Yeah. He was like, We just rode a bunch of water rides. So I think they probably just went for the water parks if they're annual for a weekend? If they're annual pass holders though, and they just the California people? No. Mm-hmm. And they just take him out of, you know He didn't miss any. He missed a Friday. Yeah. Which who knows what the excuse note said. The excuse note can say whatever they wanted to say. You know what I'm saying? Like, yeah. There are annual pass holders and you go if you want to let you like the water parks, why not? Mm-hmm. So I was a little mad he didn't take me, but that's okay. He said he'll take me next time. So yeah. I guess no, I didn't watch anything You watched, I know you watched and took copious notes on Dreamlight Valley, which we appreciate. I did kind of keep up with some of the stuff like on Instagram and Twitter. It was a lot. is the I feel like you kind of have to with every with so much going on, you have to like really pick and choose what you want to do, right? 'Cause like we had Saturday night we had the rewind concert and then there was the Horizons, which is like the big that's the big one. So there's also tiers to your ticket. I think so. Certain tickets get you access to like automatic access. I think. I don't know. More VIP. I could be wrong. Yeah. Okay. Okay. So they could have just I mean and then if you don't get in when you're you have to buy your ticket and then you have to get in a queue to get into all the the sessions you wanna go to. Mm-hmm. And so like if you don't get into Horizons, okay, I guess you can go to the concert, you know? Right. Yeah. So I don't know. Mm-hmm. Well, there's definitely a lot going on. Yeah. I am gonna say I'm not too impressed with the park news though. Really? Because it's all stuff we knew was coming. We just got looks we just got what it looks like now. You know? There was nothing there was not a big parks announcement. We didn't know all the rides, did we, for Villains Land? No. No. That's the one thing we knew. We knew what Piston Peak was gonna be like. We knew Monsters Inc. I didn't know about all the other rides like that weren't necessarily just like coming to Disney World. Like Yes. There's gonna be that yes, yes, yes, yes. Yeah, we can go over. We can go over. Well, let's go ahead and start. We are gonna try something. We're gonna share our screen. This is from Disney Parks blog. And this is just gonna be about the parks and everything around the world. I wish we could make our face bigger and that screen smaller. But it is what it is. Okay, so first the Imagineering Story Returns to Disney Plus. okay. Season two. Did you watch that? I don't know if I watched it. I did not. I just loved that Neopatra Hairs was so He was so excited. He's such a Disney adult. Like he was giddy. Like it was so fun to watch. I love him. we've got Jamie Lee Curtis and Brian Cranston are going to be Ma and Pa in Carousel of Progress, which you've never written. Nope. I'm excited. No point of reference. I'm excited. And they're starting in the 1960s now. Okay. And it's opening late spring of 2027. So when we go in 2028, we'll be good. W beloved entertainment returns to Disneyland. An updated version of World of Colors Coming to California Adventure. A refreshed version of the Remembered Dreams Come True Nighttime Spectacular will light up Disneyland Park once again February 2027. I don't know if I've seen that. And then the Magic Happens parade, that's the parade we saw. I loved that parade. Okay, so this is kind of what you were talking about, right? Space Mountain returns to its origins at Disneyland Paris. like other parks. Yeah. Mm-hmm. So Hyperspace Mountain will make way for Space Mountain de la Terra a la Lune. That was Spanish, more Spanish than a French accent. Okay, so closer to the original attraction. Okay. Yep, and a refreshed experience that makes this version of Space Mountain a fan favorite. Okay, so Space Mountain Earthrise launches a bold new future at Tokyo Disneyland. A brand new Space Mountain adventures on the horizon at Tokyo Disneyland. And Space Mountain Earthwise, guests will launch into the cosmos and experience the wonder of Earth from a perspective unlike anything ever seen before in a Disney attraction. And this is what I heard too. It's getting the Tomorrowland is getting reimagined at Tokyo Disneyland, which, low-key, why can't we reimagine all the Tomorrowlands? But okay. Okay, this one's where I'm a little confused. I thought Spaceship Earth just got a refurb. Yeah. But now we're getting another refurb. The next chapter begins, which it's supposed to be focusing on human communication. So I'm assuming we're gonna go phones and social media and FaceTime and all that kind of stuff. Did they just did they I don't know what their what the update was that they did? Was it more like mechanisms? Yeah. Okay. And maybe they did that to make way for this? I really couldn't tell you. Okay, this next one I'm excited for. The Yeti is coming back to Everest. Which you haven't seen it. No. It's always just been I haven't seen it. Well, I mean we've seen it, but it hasn't been. It hasn't been moving. It doesn't move. Right. Which that's like that that concept art. Yeah, it looks terrifying. A little bit. It is supposed to be. we're getting a new Avengers pavilion in Hong Kong Disney. we're getting Spider-Man and Shanghai Disney. Is it a new ride? Yes. Yeah, that'll be cool. The first Disney Parks land dedicated entirely to the iconic web slinger is swinging into Shanghai Disney Resort, complete with a new coaster, spider bots, and the latest projects from the Worldwide Engineering Brigade Brigade Brigade. As the students call it, Web. Okay. See. Somebody sponsor us to go. I'll go to Asia. You wanna go to Asia? I mean, I would love to go to all of them eventually. a symbol for an epic multi-world adventure at Disneyland. okay. So there's two new attractions coming to Disneyland. Avengers Infinity Defense and Stark Flight Lab will open in 2028. Doubling the size of Avengers Campus at California Adventure. So what do they take? I don't know. Is there a link? That's what I was, you know. Like, where is it gonna go? Yeah. Or maybe they just didn't like develop all of it yet. No, I mean there's like legit no land. Now, take flight of like no, this is the wrong one. Take flight like an adventure at Disneyland Resort. So again, Stark Flight Lab. So these are the two, I guess. Affinity yeah. Stark Flight Lab. Flight Lab will invite you to step into a cutting edge training experience inspired by the In Inguin how you say that word? Ingenuity. Ingenuity of Stark Industries. Okay. Robert Downey Jr., Anthony Mackey and Bree Larson will reprise their role roles from the films. Okay. Okay. Okay. Serpents. Why did it have to be serpents? For Indiana Jones at Animal Kingdom. That's what Neil Patrick Harris said. He's why did it have to be serpents? Or they used to know why did it have to be a snake or something? So the ride is based off of myth of the jade serpent. Uh-huh. Bringing an all new indie story to Disney's Animal Kingdom. So we have a ride like this at Disneyland. Right. At or at Disneyland. California Adventure. Nope, it's at Disneyland. What's it it's based off of? I don't know. Is it Crystal Skull? Maybe. What is the I know that it I love it. It's the same ride mechanism though. I don't that's what people are a little upset about or were upset about. Temple of Forbidden Eye is the one in Disneyland. I mean that's what people were a little upset about is that like we're getting it's just gonna be the exact same rhyme with different scenes, right? 'Cause it's the exact same path, it's the exact same ride buggy thingy, you know? So Well, we we have we get like the actual Harrison Ford animation. Anatronic That's cool. That's gonna be cool. That's gonna be cool. They previewed that. this At first, okay, so until I saw this particular picture, so this is the magic of Antonio's Fiesta de Encanto at Animal Kingdom. Until I saw this picture, I was like, it's gonna be a carousel. No. Right, because there is a carousel, though. There is a carousel. Okay. So which I'm actually excited about. I mean, I'm not. Do you know about the carousel? I saw the animals. They're so cute. I know. no, right the case. But now I'm glad we've got anyone. So, like I said, until I saw this, I thought we were just getting the carousel. Which, like, I was like, I'm gonna ride a carousel once, you know. It's very smart how they're doing the carousel though. Like look like animals? Yeah. But like fr not just Yeah, from the Disney universe. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I want to write again so I can get squirt this time. You know, like I don't know. Yeah. I'm excited for this one. And I guess it's gonna I guess the ride mechanism, does it tell us when this one's gonna open? No. I read somewhere 2027 though. I think everything besides Villains Land will be opened when we go. In 2027. Twenty eight. Twenty twenty-eight. We're going in twenty twenty eight. I think it'll be, yeah. They call it a family ride, so it's like very yeah. I think it'll be close to Remy's, Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Will Ray. That's what the car is giving, anyways. All right. I'm excited for this. Remember Memories of the Land of the Dead at California Adventure. I don't know, I love Coco. For the first Coco ride ever at Disney Parks, Imagineers are working closely with Pixar Animation Studios to nod to the original film and the upcoming sequel Coco Two. You'll travel by boat through Miguel's memories of the land of the dead. I feel like they're really trying to incorporate some of the newer movies. Yeah. I mean, but I love co I would I like for those movies that were lacking representation of the part. Yes. And I mean and there's a whole group of Disney people who say, Bring in new IP, stop using the IP you already have, which okay. But we love the IP. Right we have. Right. That's what d why that's why Disney is so successful. But Disney but Disney Partly Disney Parks purists. Think of the things like Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, Big Thunder, like those were ideas for rides before they became anything else. Movies. Yeah. And I understand that. But you can only do so many rides like that though. But also now, with media being what it is. You're just we're just gonna have to be with the IP. Like just also, people love people love pirates so much now, be partly because of the movies, I would argue. Like it's always been a favorite, but like Yes, you are correct. I don't know. Yeah. I I mean agree with you. This one. The Lion King roars to life at Disney Adventure World in Paris. This is another boat ride, right? Yeah. But it's a Lion King ride. I wanna go. I can't believe it's the first ever Lion King ride. Like Wild, right? How popular Lion King is, man? Right. I mean there's a show, I guess, but yeah, still. This one too. Get ready to race into Sugar Rush at Tokyo Disneyland. Again, somebody sponsor us to go to Asia. because I love Record Ralph And you get to like do Sugar Rush. That would be so fun. It's a coaster, right? Yes. That would have been Yeah. It just has attraction. I don't know. Okay, so this is Cars Land at Piston Peak at Disney World. Miss Mrs. Fritter is ready to stir up some trouble at Magic Kingdom. So the legendary demolition derby champion from Disney and Pixars, Cars 3, is rolling into Piston Peak in a big way. So this is about Cars 3. Cars Land and Disneyland is Cars. Mm-hmm. With a little bit of Cars two, maybe. But this okay, so yes. This specific ride. Yes. Yes. Mm-hmm. Yes. I don't think all of Piston Peak is supposed to be Cars three though. Based on what I saw. I don't know. So I feel like these this isn't giving us four. No, there were the planes. okay. chupacabra. this one. Race through the I didn't know. Race through the wilderness. That one's gonna be the most like radiator springs racer. Okay, so then what's this one gonna be like? I don't know. Maybe the Luigi's one. I did love that. Okay. A spin along. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. So this one, okay. Start your engines and hold on tight. Cars Ridge Run Rally. We'll send racers climbing mountain trails, cruising through snowy peaks, racing past erupting geysers and bouncing their way back down the mountain toward the finish line. And you're not racing alone as Lightning McQueen and Mater can be found giving a play by play from the sidelines. So yeah. It's just like a different terrain. Yeah. We're gonna they're gonna take a set what does it say? Through the snowy peaks, yeah. So it's I think it's gonna be really good. Yeah. I've seen like the concept art for the park sign and yeah. It this is gonna be a fun land. Okay. this one does have crew stuff. Okay, so I didn't have to go to my new one. Moana, Tinkerbell, Buzz and Woody set sail with the Disney believe. So Buzz and Woody are gonna be on the front of the ship. Tinkerbell's the back, and then Moana's gonna be the grand hall in this one. Yes. Which it set sales in twenty twenty seven from I forgot where. Not from America, I don't think. I think it's coming from Asia. Is it? Yes. Or no, the the most recent one just came from Asia. I know they said the wish is gonna start going sailing to Europe. Mm-hmm. there may maybe it is. Maybe it is one specifically for Asia. Is this one of the midline? No, this is still it hasn't been announced yet. Okay. It's a wish class. It's wish class. But I think this is the last one of the wish class. It's the fourth wish class. Yes. But they're gonna start introducing a mid level, like a mid so they've got their small fleet and they've got these larger ships. They're gonna do like a middle. Okay. The one we saw, the Wonder, I think is what we saw in Canada, and that is you have to have a small boat to go to those ports. Yes. So that makes sense. Ooh, a mid class. I think she said, did she say magic in Wonder were going back to Alaska? I have they're already back there. Wonder's been back there. Okay. So I think that might I don't know. There's another one going there. We have a different tab for the cruise line, so we'll probably hit that a little bit more. okay. open the door to new destinations and experiences around the world. Okay. It's Laughter Thereafter at Hollywood Studios. This is what I'm excited for. Mm-hmm. Okay. What the new land opens in twenty twenty seven. Guests will be able to spend time with Mike and Sully at their new theater show, visit iconic locations from the film like Carrie Houson's. I might have to just endure some Asian food just to go there. And grab a slice. I'm sure you can do something you like. Archie's scare pig pizza. Yeah. when I go to Yakin Yeti, I just get mac and cheese. So An original song by Disney legend Randy Newman. Ooh, that's fun. Will help bringing this city to life, making it feel like the monster world has finally opened its doors to humans. Mm-hmm. Okay. So we got so So that's the show. We'll get to see the show. Basically everything but the coaster. Is not opening till when? 2028, I think. So we might see it. Because we're going late 2020. Yes. Okay. And we're like, so it's gonna be so fun. That's gonna be fun. I'm what are people gonna do about flip flops? So many people wear sandals to Disney World. Including myself. These my crocs sandals I will most likely be. They'll probably have you store them. I mean, you know them. They have everything. They do. Okay. Ha ha something bewitching is coming to Magic Kingdom. Okay, so this says, I mean, I feel like if you've If you watch the listen to the pod, watch the pod, you already know. Magic mirror on the wall within this mirror well realm, within his mirror realm sees all. For the bold who follow him through the glass, he promises reflections of what may came to pass. like the show. But I know it's not. Because the boat ride. Scar. But they're all in the they're all in the reflections and those are all like images from the I really think that villain show was just a The villain show to me has always just been like this is just kind of what we're gonna be trying to do. Like they're trying to gauge the reactions. Because I think Disney has to know that the villains, like, this is going to be the most criticized, whether it's positive criticism or negative criticism, this is going to be the most criticized section. Newest thing they have to do. Right. Yeah. Because As because I think the Disney adults that we are, right? We grew up on these ninety classic movies and we loved the princesses, right? But now it's like, ooh, or so like you know, we have this new found there's a lot of people that like the villains. Right. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, and I love the kids. And have appreciation for them, yeah. I think it'll do well. I don't think it's gonna be for everyone, you know, like might not be the kids' favorite part, but you never know. Yeah. But it's what what there's one of the rides is a boat ride. Mm-hmm. And then what's the other one? Is it it's a coaster? It's a coaster. So a cursed forest. And then it's maleficent above and then under is supposed to be the evil queen. I think it's They called it like the Catacombs, or was that for this boat ride? I don't know. Let me read. Accursed for forest, a broken wishing well, Disney villains who have claimed dark magic for themselves in villains land. Guests will step into a dark and twisted world shaped by Disney's most infamous evildoers, from racing through Maleficent's enchanted briars on a thrilling coaster to venturing into the magic mirrors mystical realm. There's a little bit of mischievous magic around every corner of this sprawling new land that promises to be unlike anything ever created at Magic Kingdom. Okay, so I think when they brought up the the realm, mm hmm. Right? So the boat ride. He mentioned like Down. Right. So like somehow we're going down into something. Yeah. I mean, if it's like a boat ride, so Disneyland's pirates, I think it's gonna kind of mirror that kind of down. You know? It's a little bit different than the Disney World Pirates. Yeah. So I think that might be how it feels. And I love the Disneyland pirates more than I like the Disney World Pirates, but just saying. I don't know. I'm excited. Now is this going to be open in twenty twenty seven? I don't think so. Twenty twenty eight. Twenty twenty eight, maybe. That's I don't know if they said. I don't remember if they said. I th I know there's a lot of people that are upset about not getting a Kronken Easma coaster. And I I would agree with them. I mean like but I don't know what say about that. Like it's it's like to the point where they're not gonna do it because we want it kind of thing. Like we're literally giving you the ideas, you know? Like we are literally being like, that is the best, you know. But also who knows, like this may just be the start. And a coaster like that may have like they may have special, I don't know. I'm not gonna give up hope. Yeah. They may have, you know, we could be 80. And they open up this coaster and me and you, we're gonna be the ones riding it. No, we're gonna ride it. But it's happening. I don't know. So Okay, so tomorrow land to be reimagined at Disneyland. The transformation will honor the legacy of the original land while reimagining its future with new attractions, more open space space spaces, and new places for you to dream about the future. See, so it'll it'll come. It's just it Tomorrowland is such a hard I think it's gonna be such a hard land to reimagine at Disney World because it is popular. At Disneyland it's a little different of a space, I feel like. I'm having trouble separating the two right now, but it I don't know. I think it's not as crowded at Disneyland. I feel like. So it might be easier. But we'll see. I mean they're gonna do it little by little. Okay, last bit of Park's news is Figment and Dream Finder. I don't even know what Dream Finder is. That random guy right there. Creepy guy. That? Yeah. Can I see? Okay. What I is that? Neil Patrick, okay. It was so funny. They had Jacqueline Brayer come out dressed as Felix. It was so great. And then he came out dressed up as Jack Sparrow. he'd probably come out. Who is Dreamfinder? Okay, cool. I'm not a figment person, so there are people freaking out about it. Okay, do you we wanna say I say we just save Dreamlight Valley for last. Let's look at this cruise stuff. I don't think there's anything new that we need to. They said there were more coming to more sailings coming out of like San Diego area. So okay, Disney previously said the three new ships would deeds would be sized between older and newer ships. The company shared the new class will be larger than the 2700 passenger Disney Wonder. But smaller than the four thousand Disney Wish. So probably about three thousand. excess new I feel like that's I feel like they're listening to people because when we got off the Wish, like there were people in our group saying like that felt really big. Like we've only done the small ships. So like I think they're just trying to find a ship for everybody. So it's not launching till twenty twenty nine? Okay. I mean that makes sense though. But I think they're launching three like right around the same time. You think they're gonna all three are gonna be at twenty twenty nine? That's what I got from it. I mean they're building those things. We've had a new one every year since Right. You know? Right. But they're not building you know, they're not building a brand new ship. Most of these ships have been like recommissioned. okay. So I don't know if they're building these three new medium sized ships. Also, I mean they have since they're all in the same class, it's I feel like it's probably easier to that's gonna be cute. Yeah. Okay. Okay, so so it added this past summer the cruise line added a second ship to Alaska. with the magic and the wonder. They'll both return in twenty twenty seven. 'Cause the season ends in September. Okay. For Alaska. So and then the Disney Wish is going to Europe for her first time ever and visiting all new ports of calls. I'm I'm legitimately about to go put a deposit down on our cruise for our honeymoon. 'Cause I think like we were like anniversary. That one. I didn't and it did feel more crowded. The buffet felt more crowded. there's less options. Because there's less options. Now, of course, we went to Alaska so it wasn't hot, nobody a lot of people weren't at the pool, so I can't tell you about that. But The entertainment didn't feel more crowded though. Like they still had enough spaces and enough things going on that like it wasn't packed for stuff like that. But the buffet definitely felt more crowded. So See, I I thought a bigger ship meant more crowded in like more people. I mean, yeah, maybe a bigger ship but still more people. But I didn't feel that much. More things to do. Right. Way more things to do. Which I don't know. We mu I mean, I don't know. I just might do it. We I think that's the one that fits around our anniversary. There's one that gets us off the boat on June 27th. And I was like, we can get off the boat and go straight to my kingdom. Spend our anniversary there. Yeah. But all right, so let's move on to movies and TV shows. We're getting the Incredibles three, which I don't know how I feel about. I mean, the incredible sovereign okay, but that's not one I'm like overly excited about. No. But it's a plot. It's focusing on the two eldest kids, Violet and Dash, as they prove themselves capable of following in their parents' footsteps. I might actually like that. They've already they've like shown up and helped. Second one was where she gets The second one was focused on Mrs. Incredible. Yeah. But they have to come rescue her. Yeah. It's like they had to come rescue both their parents in the first one. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Honestly, the kids are doing most of the work here. Okay. Fair. Kingdom Hearts the series. I know a lot of people are upset ab are happy about this. It's a video game. Does Nick know about it? Yeah, but he was like, I was like, I didn't even know it was Disney centric. Like, I was like, what? Cause it's Yeah, it wasn't. I feel like they bought it. He might know more about it than I do, obviously. I was like, it looks like anime. It was confirmed that Benjamin Bratt would reprise his role as Ernesto Della Cruz. Sketches of the new film tease that Miguel is no longer a boy and is now a teenager. He's a little menace who ruined a career and destroyed a legend, said Bratt. Ernesto Dela Cruz is back for revenge. that's gonna be fun.
