- 0:40Speaker 1: Way you made Bill Vegan.
- 0:43Speaker 2: Welcome, Welcome, Welcome, I be listening to the Sports Shock Show.
- 0:49Speaker 2: I am the Sports Shock Wayne Candy were coming to
- 0:52Speaker 2: you live on this Thursday, last show of January. Yes,
- 0:57Speaker 2: January has moved along. We are about ten days out
- 1:02Speaker 2: from the super Bowl, the Patriots and the Seahawks. Baseball
- 1:09Speaker 2: season is around the corner. You'll be two weeks. Pictures
- 1:13Speaker 2: catchers back in the lab, which I never understood Why
- 1:17Speaker 2: the pictures and catchers go back first. When pictures only
- 1:22Speaker 2: do just enough for today? They really are on like
- 1:26Speaker 2: a little limit of what they're going to do. It's
- 1:30Speaker 2: like track practice for sprinters. You ever went to track practice.
- 1:35Speaker 2: The guy that runs the hundred, the lady that runs
- 1:39Speaker 2: the hundred, Their day is the shortest a couple all
- 1:44Speaker 2: the days they actually come out there, they're either working
- 1:46Speaker 2: on the start or they're working on the finish. But
- 1:54Speaker 2: that's it. Yes, you were asking to run a mile,
- 1:58Speaker 2: that's not They're not going to do that, and they're
- 2:01Speaker 2: going to have a limited amount of sprints that they
- 2:04Speaker 2: actually do when they go out to practice. But can
- 2:08Speaker 2: you understand the ten thousand meter runner? What what training
- 2:14Speaker 2: like that is all the time? Like you time this
- 2:17Speaker 2: up perfect? You under what this kid doing downtown? Boy
- 2:24Speaker 2: in school, he just run it through downtown a lot
- 2:27Speaker 2: of where you going, young man, But he's at cross
- 2:31Speaker 2: country practice practice and you would you would see you
- 2:35Speaker 2: see I remember being in high school and you would
- 2:37Speaker 2: leave once that season hit and you will see someone
- 2:43Speaker 2: just jogging. Man?
- 2:44Speaker 1: Is that Derwin?
- 2:45Speaker 2: Oh? They had practice. The only reason you know any
- 2:47Speaker 2: practice because they usually have those thinners shorts on that
- 2:50Speaker 2: you would never aware unless you was at track practice. So, uh,
- 2:55Speaker 2: you forget. That's how they train. That's how they train.
- 2:58Speaker 2: That is the training. Think about it. The training is
- 3:01Speaker 2: running to Hartsville and back. Yeah. Yeah, that's that's the training.
- 3:07Speaker 2: Coach ain't seen none of it. Hey, everybody here, one, two, three, four, Okay,
- 3:12Speaker 2: command you Greg, three miles? You lead the first four miles.
- 3:16Speaker 2: You got the second four miles. You bring the rear
- 3:20Speaker 2: end and parents all over the city like y'all doing school,
- 3:24Speaker 2: y'all leave. He going there and start flirting with the
- 3:28Speaker 2: young intern. That's how they get in trouble. That's how
- 3:30Speaker 2: they get in trouble. He ain't running. He just sit
- 3:34Speaker 2: and let us home. Tell your parents what shoes to get?
- 3:37Speaker 2: These shoes that be best. But Thursday, no football this
- 3:42Speaker 2: weekend for the NFL. But the Senior Bowl is going on.
- 3:46Speaker 2: I know the Senior Bowl. Every time I see that
- 3:49Speaker 2: jersey up there, guys, I always just remember and go
- 3:53Speaker 2: back to that week of preparation. Some things just stay.
- 3:57Speaker 2: It was in Mobile. Is it still in Mobile? I
- 3:59Speaker 2: think it is right. I haven't moved there. So it
- 4:01Speaker 2: was then Mobile thirty two years ago when I went
- 4:07Speaker 2: to it, the Mobile and and it's kind of got.
- 4:13Speaker 2: It would have been January of ninety four. So there
- 4:17Speaker 2: was Senior Bowl I IV IV something like that, one
- 4:25Speaker 2: of real early senior bowls. No, the Senior Bowl, it's
- 4:28Speaker 2: been around around one hundred years. Yeah, I still can't
- 4:33Speaker 2: believe that they still have it in Mobile. No one
- 4:35Speaker 2: has tried to take capitalize and take it away, But
- 4:39Speaker 2: it's the beauty of it there. They still have it
- 4:40Speaker 2: in Mobile. Well, it's a big it's a big production
- 4:45Speaker 2: it is to try to move it like that. There's
- 4:47Speaker 2: a lot of particulars that go along, and it used.
- 4:49Speaker 6: To be sort of the college football coming out party.
- 4:54Speaker 6: Everybody that went to the Senior Bowl was sort of
- 4:56Speaker 6: the all stars of the NCAA. But now do you
- 4:59Speaker 6: think that it's lost some of its luster because of
- 5:03Speaker 6: the new era of college sports.
- 5:06Speaker 2: I think that we have forgotten that there are a
- 5:09Speaker 2: lot of stars and opportunities that guys get to I know,
- 5:13Speaker 2: I went there for the particular of cementing that I
- 5:20Speaker 2: could handle power rushers. Yes, because I was smaller in
- 5:26Speaker 2: stature at the time, coming out of Auburn. In college,
- 5:31Speaker 2: I was only allowed to weigh to seventy so a
- 5:35Speaker 2: lot of the questions of if we draft you, how
- 5:38Speaker 2: can you gain weight? And can you handle power rushers?
- 5:42Speaker 2: So I went there and every time I got a
- 5:44Speaker 2: chance to take on a guy in one on one drills,
- 5:48Speaker 2: and most of it is that drills that coaches get
- 5:51Speaker 2: to see you. It's like an early combine. Yeah, and
- 5:55Speaker 2: it actually is better to show your skill because combine
- 5:58Speaker 2: is truly just the the athletic tea. Yeah, can you jump?
- 6:03Speaker 2: Whereas football gets to show you what I actually do.
- 6:06Speaker 2: There is a difference. There is a there is a
- 6:09Speaker 2: mental component to you know, even running when people, well,
- 6:13Speaker 2: Jerry Rice runs a four to five. Yeah, but Jerry
- 6:16Speaker 2: Rice had that feel for dog syndrome which made him
- 6:19Speaker 2: a step faster when you chase him, if you let
- 6:24Speaker 2: him run on his own, Yeah, he's a four to five, right,
- 6:27Speaker 2: if you chase him, Yes, sir, he's a four to four.
- 6:30Speaker 2: Everybody didn't have that. Now, now some folks Jerry had
- 6:35Speaker 2: that in him, so he couldn't get caught this guy, Yeah,
- 6:38Speaker 2: because Jerry had. And then taller receivers sometimes as well,
- 6:43Speaker 2: once they get out because remember I'm measuring you on
- 6:45Speaker 2: a forty. You get past forty, now you're able to
- 6:49Speaker 2: there's two hundred. You see in the track and field,
- 6:51Speaker 2: there are some people tracked. There's some hundred meter runners.
- 6:54Speaker 2: You can tell they didn't have another one hundred in them.
- 6:57Speaker 2: And then you can tell a young lady that came
- 6:59Speaker 2: in third if they'd kept running though, if they had
- 7:01Speaker 2: kept running, she'd have went and got them. But in
- 7:04Speaker 2: a hundred one hundred meter setting. She ain't got enough
- 7:08Speaker 2: room to go get them. Why. That's why some of
- 7:11Speaker 2: that that are great was in that one hundred and
- 7:13Speaker 2: two hundred you only had a couple that could really
- 7:16Speaker 2: do that. They can run the two hundred. Yeah, some
- 7:19Speaker 2: people just don't have because of their style. Like a
- 7:25Speaker 2: Shaikari Richson her style, she doesn't have a two hundred
- 7:30Speaker 2: meter because she runs off of quickness and rotation. Some
- 7:38Speaker 2: people are powering their way down the track. They had
- 7:40Speaker 2: those long legs and once they start, you know, getting moving,
- 7:46Speaker 2: it's just how it goes. So it hurts you in
- 7:49Speaker 2: some instances, like taller receivers, can they get out of
- 7:52Speaker 2: the break? You said in football all the time. So
- 7:55Speaker 2: it's just different runner. But the combine I've always thought
- 7:59Speaker 2: was gonna help hope. Even our man Diogo Diego Pavia
- 8:03Speaker 2: out of Vandy, he's saying he's going down there to
- 8:06Speaker 2: show the pros because he does have a hurdle, and
- 8:10Speaker 2: they measured him at five eight and seven eighth, so really,
- 8:19Speaker 2: let's let's give him five to nine. That's a hard
- 8:24Speaker 2: hurdle to get pro. You're gonna have to show them
- 8:28Speaker 2: some other you know. Way about that at five nine, Well,
- 8:34Speaker 2: he would be the shortest quarterback. I know he would.
- 8:36Speaker 7: Yeah, measure at five to nine and Vanderbilt had been
- 8:41Speaker 7: listing him at six feet this entire time. Does that
- 8:46Speaker 7: that happens all the time? I know it happens all
- 8:48Speaker 7: the time. But does that like do teams like hesitate?
- 8:51Speaker 5: Like?
- 8:52Speaker 2: Okay, so if your school lied about your height, can't
- 8:56Speaker 2: we like trust you? Well, guys, I don't. Here here's
- 9:02Speaker 2: the deal because I called you know, y'all guys know
- 9:04Speaker 2: I call high school sports.
- 9:05Speaker 8: Uh.
- 9:06Speaker 2: The first thing I actually do is when I go
- 9:09Speaker 2: to the game, Greg, to make your point, I go
- 9:12Speaker 2: to see if what the coach told me or what
- 9:16Speaker 2: was in the media gud and the guy matched up right,
- 9:20Speaker 2: because it's a lot of Oh no, he's six six
- 9:24Speaker 2: to forty five. Really, y'all got a tight end in
- 9:26Speaker 2: six six two forty five and he's a sophomore. I
- 9:29Speaker 2: get on the field. The kid ain't no six six
- 9:33Speaker 2: kid like six y three. But sometimes it's a lie.
- 9:36Speaker 2: Sometimes it's just never being corrected. Some places will just
- 9:40Speaker 2: ask you when in the early years now, and sometimes
- 9:46Speaker 2: teams don't take pictures every day. They just take last
- 9:50Speaker 2: year's photos and put them in this program. It's the
- 9:53Speaker 2: same thing with height and weight you are they're giving
- 9:56Speaker 2: you for some guys. Whatever, what's the guy who is
- 10:00Speaker 2: at Cleveland? Somebody has a right tackle that It just
- 10:02Speaker 2: looked like he's like four hundred pounds. Oh, Tampa, Tampa Bay?
- 10:07Speaker 2: Is it tamp somebody looks like a whole whole building. Florida.
- 10:11Speaker 2: He went to Florida. It just makes me look like,
- 10:14Speaker 2: you know, I'm scared right, and I got some size
- 10:17Speaker 2: on me. I'm like, hold on what they create. You
- 10:19Speaker 2: got to be in a lab, but you be thinking.
- 10:22Speaker 2: But they'll have him listed at what he initially went
- 10:26Speaker 2: to Florida asked a lot of times. And so that's
- 10:30Speaker 2: where maybe a pavia. When he went to those junior colleges,
- 10:35Speaker 2: they might just ask him. Sometimes the doctor asks you
- 10:41Speaker 2: and sometimes they weigh you. Yeah, is that not? Some
- 10:45Speaker 2: people they weigh you how much? Do you? Might all
- 10:48Speaker 2: be upset when they ask. I need to get them
- 10:51Speaker 2: scared of missus John's scale because some people just don't
- 10:56Speaker 2: want they want to believe. And if you ask them
- 11:00Speaker 2: instead of whim, they're gonna give himself a break and
- 11:03Speaker 2: they're gonna go by some old you know when I
- 11:06Speaker 2: was in college, they bad producer how much? Well I'm
- 11:09Speaker 2: two o five? Really that when now for listen, I
- 11:19Speaker 2: haven't I haven't experienced. You don't change it, you don't
- 11:24Speaker 2: change it. Gonna get arristed because they like this man,
- 11:29Speaker 2: the man on the car. Sir, whoever you are, you
- 11:34Speaker 2: ain't this man, whoever you are, get out the car,
- 11:37Speaker 2: fat boy. You gotta have an ozenfic tag. Show him
- 11:42Speaker 2: that next. But we got a great show for you
- 11:45Speaker 2: in the first hour. We're gonna break down a couple
- 11:47Speaker 2: of things. Uh, one being Bill Belichick, the other being
- 11:52Speaker 2: sure Doer Sanders And where will Yannis onto takoupo put
- 11:59Speaker 2: all those left? What city is going to have to
- 12:02Speaker 2: put that on their jerseys? Patty Much more on The
- 12:05Speaker 2: Sports Shock Show right after this Don't bow Away. More

- 14:59Speaker 1: I'm looking at you what I mean, keep looking at me?
- 15:05Speaker 4: Scared now.
- 15:07Speaker 2: Right, don't fill me baby, it's just.
- 15:13Speaker 12: Right.
- 15:15Speaker 2: Welcome back to this What Shock show. I'm this What
- 15:17Speaker 2: Shock Wayne Candy my man justin timerlate. What a great
- 15:20Speaker 2: super Bowl that was. I loved that performance by JT
- 15:24Speaker 2: a couple of years ago in Minnesota, Right Yeah, a
- 15:28Speaker 2: little tribute to Prince and all that. Right there. Jay
- 15:33Speaker 2: did a great job whatever career he's had from a
- 15:36Speaker 2: boy band to an international performer. Bill Belichick, you've all
- 15:42Speaker 2: if you covered any story over the last couple of
- 15:45Speaker 2: this is what's wrong with America. This is what's wrong
- 15:52Speaker 2: with America. This is America. This is don't catch your
- 15:58Speaker 2: slipping now what's wrong. You can take the Bill Belichick
- 16:04Speaker 2: situation and basically cover most of the things that we're
- 16:11Speaker 2: struggling with as a country. Yeah, if you ain't showing love,
- 16:16Speaker 2: you hate hate, you just are like me. Not shaking
- 16:23Speaker 2: your hand has nothing to do with what I asked
- 16:30Speaker 2: you to perform. Bill Belichick, Now you have to It's
- 16:40Speaker 2: a house of cards. All the cards have to come off.
- 16:43Speaker 2: We were just talking about this the other day. And
- 16:46Speaker 2: I was trying to share with you. It has always
- 16:49Speaker 2: been confusing to me. People ask me all the time.
- 16:54Speaker 2: I say, man, I played it, and still don't get it.
- 17:00Speaker 2: I don't get how the man with forty games is
- 17:03Speaker 2: a legend over the man with two hundred and fifty games.
- 17:06Speaker 2: I don't get it. But if y'all say so, because
- 17:10Speaker 2: the argument makes it seem like you're no, I'm not
- 17:13Speaker 2: that you mad, that you're mad, but I'm not mad. No,
- 17:16Speaker 2: we just want I'm mad.
- 17:17Speaker 1: I got.
- 17:19Speaker 2: I'm just understand it. Just my fourth album. Yo, ain't
- 17:23Speaker 2: gotta dog. You just want to I'm mad, ready to die.
- 17:28Speaker 2: It was all right, it was, but I'm saying I
- 17:32Speaker 2: got John Blade. This is if you ain't showing love,
- 17:36Speaker 2: you hating. And this summarizes it for a lot of
- 17:39Speaker 2: the political, the religion, the social issues of the day.
- 17:46Speaker 2: This summarizes it. Bill Belichick, other coaches say he's the greatest. Well,
- 17:57Speaker 2: so I don't know what to tell you. I don't
- 18:02Speaker 2: put Tim. I put Tim Duncan on my list for
- 18:05Speaker 2: the greatest power Forward because of what I saw, but
- 18:10Speaker 2: also because Charles Barkley said that Tim was better than
- 18:15Speaker 2: him and Carl because of Tim's effect on the defensive
- 18:21Speaker 2: end of the court. They were more offensive. Guy. That
- 18:25Speaker 2: don't mean ayd in block shots or play. You know,
- 18:27Speaker 2: he's not saying it was terrible defenders. He's saying that
- 18:30Speaker 2: that was a component that Tim brought to where others
- 18:36Speaker 2: didn't bring. So you sit here the best of the others,
- 18:41Speaker 2: the best of the others. Derrick Colemans the right when
- 18:46Speaker 2: the man says, if I had to be anybody, I'd
- 18:51Speaker 2: be that other dude. That's why you got to take
- 18:53Speaker 2: what they say, the ones like so for that, you
- 18:56Speaker 2: don't know. Bill belichicked the great patriarch patriarch. I guess
- 19:02Speaker 2: you say patriarch since it was the Patriots of uh
- 19:06Speaker 2: the New England team. It's so many angles to go
- 19:11Speaker 2: because then if Bill Belichick, then you can't put Tom Brady,
- 19:15Speaker 2: That's what I was. You can't put Rob Grikowski. What
- 19:19Speaker 2: about the whole two you got? Everybody went in from
- 19:24Speaker 2: that era. We got to start retroactively pulling these Yeah,
- 19:27Speaker 2: I don't know why. Richard Seymour, we got to start
- 19:30Speaker 2: pulling them out. I started looking at we got to
- 19:32Speaker 2: start pulling people out because Richard played his whole career
- 19:35Speaker 2: there under Belichick. Yeah, we got the pull whole career.
- 19:38Speaker 2: We we have to pull people out. I'm sure there's
- 19:42Speaker 2: some coaches that have already gone in sports Johns I started.
- 19:46Speaker 2: How many of Chuck? No, no, no, no, no, we're
- 19:48Speaker 2: talking about them. He and he and Hall Fame, Yes,
- 19:51Speaker 2: first ballot, pack him up. But look, but hold on,
- 19:58Speaker 2: who else? Who else?
- 19:59Speaker 13: Who?
- 20:00Speaker 2: Another coach? And Tony Dungeon. How many he got one?
- 20:05Speaker 2: Get your stuff, get your stuff? No, no, sir, no,
- 20:08Speaker 2: I'm talking yes, no, I'm saying finish the broadcast. Didn
- 20:11Speaker 2: get your stuff, get it up out of the Hall
- 20:14Speaker 2: of Lombardy. How many he got to do with the
- 20:18Speaker 2: trophy named after him? Got to change the name of
- 20:21Speaker 2: the trophy. First of all, we gotta go in order. First,
- 20:27Speaker 2: the name come off the trophy. Did thank him up?
- 20:30Speaker 2: That hime up? Get him out? Belchick? But legendary that
- 20:34Speaker 2: everybody Lombardy Belichick. It's kind of like the Stanley Cup, right,
- 20:39Speaker 2: And Belichick has won more of that guy's name than
- 20:42Speaker 2: anybody in football history. And he didn't get in. So
- 20:46Speaker 2: mister Lombardy, it's not my fault, sir. I'm just I'm
- 20:51Speaker 2: just going by the Roof was coordinator. So they're gonna
- 20:55Speaker 2: get rid of Lamba leave. They gonna have to Lambau.
- 20:59Speaker 2: It's not that all that gotta go. It's not it's
- 21:02Speaker 2: not my decision. It's not my decision. This is retroactive,
- 21:07Speaker 2: sir no. But I mean, come on down eight. If
- 21:12Speaker 2: eight super Bowl trophies don't get you in six as
- 21:16Speaker 2: the head coach and to coordinated six these many and
- 21:23Speaker 2: he put up with Lawrence Taylor. Anybody that if Lawrence
- 21:29Speaker 2: made it, that's bonus points. I'm just saying that ought
- 21:32Speaker 2: to be to that ought to be the man you
- 21:34Speaker 2: the Lawn Taylor, that ought to have gotten him in
- 21:37Speaker 2: with just one Super Bowl win. One Super Bowl win
- 21:39Speaker 2: and Lawrence Taylor let me. Lawrence drove it so crazy
- 21:42Speaker 2: he went to Cleveland for us first gone gone, gone, gone,
- 21:45Speaker 2: let me in t you ain't got that stuff on
- 21:47Speaker 2: you stuff? Probably send Bill Belichick in there. You you
- 21:56Speaker 2: ain't got that stuff on you? Know he got it
- 21:57Speaker 2: when the first thing he asked you was what stuff.
- 22:00Speaker 2: I'm telling you you got that stuff on you? What
- 22:01Speaker 2: check probably would tell you that. Bill Parcells probably would
- 22:06Speaker 2: call him in the office, Hey man, Hey, I'm gonna
- 22:08Speaker 2: need you go to talk to l T today. Now
- 22:12Speaker 2: you know I ain't going down where he at. He
- 22:14Speaker 2: and the janet of the closet. Now they said over
- 22:16Speaker 2: Rick Cabaret, did you go there and see if you
- 22:19Speaker 2: can get him to come to practice. It's it's just
- 22:21Speaker 2: two hours before the game. What do you mean he's
- 22:23Speaker 2: a ricks Cabaret can Uh, well, that's what Pepper Johnson
- 22:28Speaker 2: told me. What Pepper, you ain't telling all you How
- 22:33Speaker 2: do you think Pepper was on Bill Belichick's staff for
- 22:36Speaker 2: thirty years? That will Pep knew where the butter was.
- 22:39Speaker 2: The butter came on the bread. Pepper had somebody bring
- 22:42Speaker 2: him over here. Tell me how you know I was
- 22:45Speaker 2: over there about about thirty minutes ago. She told him.
- 22:49Speaker 2: You just say she's gonna drive him on. You'll be
- 22:52Speaker 2: We got a sort back what you said though about
- 22:55Speaker 2: the players actually played for him, and that the first

- 25:39Speaker 2: the Red so.
- 25:52Speaker 12: Hungry, use my mind need fun time?
- 26:05Speaker 2: Just that tone, she said, went back to the Swoyshock Shock.
- 26:14Speaker 2: The Spoy shock Wayne Gandy. We left talking about Bill Bellacheck,
- 26:20Speaker 2: the NFL coach with the most head coaching super Bowls
- 26:27Speaker 2: with six. Those six was one in a twenty one
- 26:31Speaker 2: year period there with the Patriots. He won two as
- 26:36Speaker 2: an assistant with the Giants back in the late eighties
- 26:41Speaker 2: when they were doing their damage right in their early nineties,
- 26:46Speaker 2: Bill Belichick was a top notch linebacker coach, also a
- 26:51Speaker 2: top notch defensive coordinator. All kinds of people have come
- 26:55Speaker 2: to his defense. Basically I haven't heard anyone. It's almost like,
- 27:00Speaker 2: how did he not get into the Hall of Fame.
- 27:04Speaker 2: First of all, it's time to erase the first ballot
- 27:08Speaker 2: Hall of Fame. It's time either you're in the Hall
- 27:16Speaker 2: of Fame or you're not. Either Andrew Jones is a
- 27:20Speaker 2: Hall of Famer or he's not.
- 27:23Speaker 7: So that would involve getting rid of the like the limits,
- 27:27Speaker 7: like we could only elect five players.
- 27:31Speaker 2: Well, if it's five, is five, If it's fifty, it's fifty.
- 27:34Speaker 2: If it's one, it's one. So I'm sorry that everybody
- 27:40Speaker 2: lined up in this year. But this whole idea that well,
- 27:47Speaker 2: since he was bigger, so when Tom Brady shouldn't be
- 27:50Speaker 2: up for it? In a couple of years. Well after this,
- 27:53Speaker 2: we don't know and jump over who was already in line,
- 28:00Speaker 2: push those guys back another year or two. You keep
- 28:02Speaker 2: pushing people back for some favoritism for someone else and
- 28:05Speaker 2: then want to invite them in. So whenever Andrew Jones,
- 28:10Speaker 2: the Hall of Famer now for the Braves was invited,
- 28:15Speaker 2: he should have went in.
- 28:16Speaker 7: Then, yeah, what changes after they after they've stopped playing?
- 28:24Speaker 7: The numbers didn't change, nothing saying what's different from putting
- 28:30Speaker 7: them in now than you could have put them in
- 28:32Speaker 7: ten years ago? Ten years ago? So you know, or
- 28:38Speaker 7: you have to start with a set, then your number
- 28:41Speaker 7: needs to be set. Something has to be more concrete
- 28:45Speaker 7: about Hall of Fame inductions. So either we five every
- 28:50Speaker 7: year or the qualifications are the same. But if Andrew
- 28:57Speaker 7: Jones made the qualifications ten years ago, why is he
- 29:00Speaker 7: still waiting?
- 29:01Speaker 2: He just get in today? Side with Bill Belichick, what
- 29:08Speaker 2: if whatever you were having as an issue with him,
- 29:11Speaker 2: he should have been notified. Then you do know that
- 29:14Speaker 2: this disqualifies you. College Hall of Fame. Lets you know
- 29:21Speaker 2: that if you were not an All American, you cannot
- 29:25Speaker 2: be elected into the College Hall of Fame, no matter
- 29:28Speaker 2: how good you played. If you were not an All American,
- 29:36Speaker 2: and I want to say, is consensus All American? Then
- 29:39Speaker 2: you can't because they have like three different levels of that,
- 29:41Speaker 2: which is interesting. But if it was not that so
- 29:44Speaker 2: all and so it would stand true that not every
- 29:48Speaker 2: All American is in the College Hall of Fame, but
- 29:50Speaker 2: everyone in the College Hall of Fame is in All American. Yes,
- 29:54Speaker 2: but the only way you can even be on the
- 29:57Speaker 2: how good you think this player was if he never
- 30:00Speaker 2: made the All American team.
- 30:02Speaker 7: Actually enough, like Joe Montana is not in the College
- 30:05Speaker 7: Hall of Fame because he was never named.
- 30:07Speaker 2: Never in All Americans. So there are people that you
- 30:09Speaker 2: think would be and there are people that were in
- 30:12Speaker 2: the Hall of Fame. That's where the thing with the
- 30:14Speaker 2: basketball kind of gets confusing. Most of us are just
- 30:18Speaker 2: going by the pro but the Nate Smith says that
- 30:21Speaker 2: it's basically your body of work basketball player, no matter
- 30:26Speaker 2: what level. It's not just NBA is inaball high school
- 30:30Speaker 2: and college. So sometimes you are right now that player
- 30:34Speaker 2: from his justice NBA moments like a Grant Heel, Yeah,
- 30:43Speaker 2: they would. You didn't add in the things before Grant Heel.
- 30:47Speaker 2: You just added the little window and but the college
- 30:49Speaker 2: football is different, just like the pro What you did
- 30:52Speaker 2: in college has nothing to do with what you did
- 30:54Speaker 2: in the pros. But with Bill Belichick here, everybody's upset
- 30:58Speaker 2: this And I said, this is what was wrong America.
- 31:00Speaker 2: This is what me and the Bad use to go
- 31:02Speaker 2: back and forth about with him. Me and Big Kenny
- 31:05Speaker 2: goes at him. Man even comand you Greg, when he
- 31:08Speaker 2: he lets whatever he feels for someone like a Lebron James,
- 31:13Speaker 2: Lebron James, whatever he feels for Lebron James on a
- 31:19Speaker 2: personal level, he lets that make whatever Lebron James doing
- 31:24Speaker 2: on that would less than whatever that is. Whether you
- 31:30Speaker 2: hear people talking about, oh well he you know that's
- 31:32Speaker 2: I don't know. I've never heard the bad producer talk
- 31:34Speaker 2: about that. But then he made the decision the little
- 31:38Speaker 2: thing he did. Oh man, see this is what I'm
- 31:40Speaker 2: talking about. What does that have to do? He don't
- 31:43Speaker 2: go on the on the Mount rushmore because now see sports, y'all.
- 31:47Speaker 2: I wrote down two things.
- 31:48Speaker 6: One I wrote down part of the problem is that
- 31:51Speaker 6: we let our personal feelings get in professional situations. There
- 31:55Speaker 6: should be no reason that we're weighing anything outside. Now,
- 32:00Speaker 6: someone said spygate, Well what what reportedly that came up?
- 32:06Speaker 6: And with the voters, fly fly gate? And which is
- 32:10Speaker 6: the first thing? The first thing because spygate, Jimmy Johnson,
- 32:13Speaker 6: they used to do it. So come on, So spygate
- 32:15Speaker 6: is a moral issue. You're bad because you're saying that
- 32:19Speaker 6: it's immoral. Here's we're all looking for signs.
- 32:23Speaker 2: You're in the game after the game, if you don't
- 32:26Speaker 2: think somebody's over there trying to decipher why y'all keep
- 32:29Speaker 2: doing what the hault means? Even if I can get
- 32:32Speaker 2: to use it for one play, I can mess up
- 32:34Speaker 2: that if I can figure out which what goes with
- 32:38Speaker 2: your sequence? Right? Baseball tried to get it as far
- 32:41Speaker 2: as signs, right, come out, you can't steal what do
- 32:44Speaker 2: you mean? I can't look down here and see And
- 32:47Speaker 2: when he does this, he always thows a curveball of
- 32:51Speaker 2: when you know you're saying, I can't figure this out, man,
- 32:56Speaker 2: that was your job as a bench one to learn
- 32:59Speaker 2: get if you sat on the bench in baseball, if
- 33:02Speaker 2: you wasn't playing, if you was a pitcher. And a
- 33:04Speaker 2: lot of people say, what a picture's job. We just
- 33:06Speaker 2: talked about that. Their job is to try to figure out.
- 33:08Speaker 7: That's why the sign that's why they got the pitch
- 33:10Speaker 7: calm thing so there so there are no signs to
- 33:15Speaker 7: steal because before it would be like if I got
- 33:17Speaker 7: a runner on second, they can see the catcher, you know, okay,
- 33:23Speaker 7: one finger, he's he's putting inside. So it's an inside
- 33:26Speaker 7: fastball and that runner on second can it seems like
- 33:30Speaker 7: a short amount of time, but kind of signal that
- 33:32Speaker 7: that hit inside.
- 33:34Speaker 2: That's the gatesmanship the other part. But but like the
- 33:39Speaker 2: integrity gate, keep Tom Brady and grow. That's what I'm saying.
- 33:45Speaker 2: The other part of what Sean Payton can't go in
- 33:48Speaker 2: because he had bounty gating.
- 33:50Speaker 6: So we have first the personal feelings in the professional situations,
- 33:54Speaker 6: and then I think some of this seems like problem
- 33:57Speaker 6: with the people who actually have a vote.
- 33:59Speaker 2: Now.
- 34:00Speaker 6: Now for the NFL Hall of Fame, it's anonymous. I
- 34:02Speaker 6: don't know who they give the vote to. I know
- 34:04Speaker 6: with Major League Baseball they have writers played baseball. You
- 34:09Speaker 6: shouldn't be voting.
- 34:10Speaker 2: You can find you can find out who the writers are,
- 34:12Speaker 2: but not all of them reveal who they're voting for.
- 34:16Speaker 2: I'm not always well it's not all writers, but see
- 34:19Speaker 2: here here's the thing, and you got it. Bill was
- 34:22Speaker 2: on the contributors thing. And this is the question I
- 34:25Speaker 2: wanted to ask you. He was on the list with
- 34:28Speaker 2: Robert Craft, Ken Anderson, Roger Craig, and Elsie Greenwood. And
- 34:32Speaker 2: now that they're saying that, like with him not getting on,
- 34:34Speaker 2: that's just gonna push those what you were saying, pushing
- 34:38Speaker 2: that group back again or push someone back another year. Now,
- 34:43Speaker 2: how is that with those Elsie Greenwood and Roger Craig
- 34:46Speaker 2: and Ken Anderson being players, how are their contributors? I
- 34:50Speaker 2: didn't understand and how they own that same because all
- 34:52Speaker 2: those guys are most likely missed the windows okay of
- 34:58Speaker 2: when they could be put up. So they came in
- 35:01Speaker 2: kind of like I want to say, uh, you not
- 35:04Speaker 2: how Bill Cower got in there and a couple of
- 35:09Speaker 2: players people get in they it's that the coaches are
- 35:13Speaker 2: voted for, uh, except like they're on this committee. It
- 35:19Speaker 2: would be coaches and former players who weren't an owner
- 35:24Speaker 2: under the modern era. It's like different committees that that vote.
- 35:28Speaker 2: So like if Roger Craig is inducted, it's not under
- 35:32Speaker 2: the modern era, which is like that means twenty years
- 35:36Speaker 2: of eligibility ran. Now a special committee can still put here.
- 35:39Speaker 2: And they went back and they started this a couple
- 35:41Speaker 2: of years ago where the Roger Craiggs, who people felt
- 35:46Speaker 2: and a lot of people would be surprised, was not
- 35:49Speaker 2: in the Hall of Fame. A way to be able
- 35:51Speaker 2: to put those guys back. And and why only twenty
- 35:55Speaker 2: years of eligibility you you didn't come back to the league?
- 35:59Speaker 2: You twelve com Mandic Grig said it in the last segment.
- 36:06Speaker 2: What changed nothing once I retired. The numbers were the numbers.
- 36:10Speaker 2: I steal the numbers. That's why I never understood about
- 36:13Speaker 2: del Murphy. And that's what I said, you have to
- 36:15Speaker 2: open the board. But as I was alluding to, people
- 36:18Speaker 2: let their emotions rule everything about their sensibilities, and they
- 36:25Speaker 2: will undercut you Hall of Fame right now.
- 36:32Speaker 7: There was a writer who put out like possible four
- 36:36Speaker 7: reasons that Belichick in four reasons?
- 36:40Speaker 2: One how you got four? Said?
- 36:45Speaker 7: He said that voters assumed he was going to be elected,
- 36:48Speaker 7: so they didn't vote for him like someone what else
- 36:50Speaker 7: will vote for that?
- 36:51Speaker 2: Yeah, that's all he needed was forty.
- 36:54Speaker 7: The second one is they chose to prioritize the senior
- 36:59Speaker 7: players like Roger Craig who might not get another chance,
- 37:05Speaker 7: and the third one for Spygate and to flake Gate
- 37:08Speaker 7: wanted to punish him for that, and a few voters
- 37:11Speaker 7: have been protesting the rules for coaches who are eligible
- 37:16Speaker 7: one year after retiring in set of five, I didn't
- 37:20Speaker 7: hear that one.
- 37:21Speaker 2: We'll be back more to Sports Shock Show right after.

- 40:43Speaker 2: and what you do now is you just tear down
- 40:45Speaker 2: the whole system of hall of fame. I've been part
- 40:49Speaker 2: of the show preaching that the Hall of Fame has
- 40:52Speaker 2: become in all sports very questionable to who, how, when
- 40:59Speaker 2: and where. We're talking about Bill Belichick, But why is
- 41:04Speaker 2: Jerry Jones in the Hall of Fame and Robert Kraft isn't?
- 41:11Speaker 2: Nobody has answered Greg read off before the last break
- 41:14Speaker 2: four reasons, those aren't reasons if those were not in
- 41:17Speaker 2: the bylaws about spygates. So now you got to take
- 41:20Speaker 2: everybody out that ever had a scandal, any coach that

- 41:33Speaker 2: you ain't gonna let mister blink in for noisegate. When
- 41:38Speaker 2: they was pumping the sound in the Falcon Stadium, they
- 41:41Speaker 2: said they did that. Now did investigate, said they did
- 41:44Speaker 2: what they got to do with these wins? You didn't
- 41:47Speaker 2: take the winds away? Then that should have disqualified me
- 41:50Speaker 2: from no. No, no, no, there is no I would
- 41:53Speaker 2: love to sit here and continue, but there is no reason.
- 41:58Speaker 2: There is no I'm second all time. I won my
- 42:01Speaker 2: division seventeen out of twenty one times. I went to
- 42:05Speaker 2: ten super Bowls, one eight. Nobody has that. Nobody has
- 42:14Speaker 2: a stat like that. I was the ten super Bowls
- 42:17Speaker 2: and you got to finish six. What you say, spygate
- 42:21Speaker 2: to Flaker, take those two away. I still have more
- 42:24Speaker 2: super Bowls than any of the people that you put
- 42:27Speaker 2: in there, still got six. You said Tony Jade had one. Okay,
- 42:31Speaker 2: take five of mine away, and I still match him.
- 42:36Speaker 2: So when we keep like in our country, we like
- 42:39Speaker 2: to find these little loopholes of what something can make
- 42:41Speaker 2: the sense. It makes no sense. There is no reason
- 42:47Speaker 2: to do something evil to a kid. It's indefensible for
- 42:55Speaker 2: that lady to drown them kids. You keep trying to
- 42:59Speaker 2: come over. We were talking about how did give her
- 43:01Speaker 2: some Mama didn't give her some oat meal when she
- 43:05Speaker 2: was five. I didn't feel like she was in a
- 43:07Speaker 2: safe play. Daddy worked four days a week and then
- 43:09Speaker 2: have a lot of time. What that gotta do with
- 43:11Speaker 2: you drowned kids? There is? This is indefensible. That's why
- 43:15Speaker 2: it's so illogical, because now you have broken all of
- 43:20Speaker 2: what happens. Everybody is tainted, tainted.
- 43:27Speaker 7: I think the Hall of Fame is looking into voter
- 43:30Speaker 7: bylaws like we're bylaws violated because I think the.
- 43:38Speaker 2: You shouldn't even listen. Let's be real, we don't need
- 43:47Speaker 2: a vote for Lebron James. We don't need a vote
- 43:57Speaker 2: for Steph Curry, we don't need a vote for Tom Brady.
- 44:04Speaker 2: These aren't measurables. Who are you measuring these people to
- 44:11Speaker 2: the gods? Remember when the last time you had somebody
- 44:15Speaker 2: to measure to Lebron too would be kopy you. So
- 44:19Speaker 2: you're only measuring this man to people on Mount Olympus?
- 44:25Speaker 2: Is that what you're saying? So doesn't that mean he
- 44:30Speaker 2: supposed to be If that's the only you skipped over
- 44:33Speaker 2: all these worlds. You one went from asgard mid guard
- 44:37Speaker 2: you always and you're in and you're sitting here. Who
- 44:41Speaker 2: why why are we show he a tony? Why would
- 44:46Speaker 2: we be in the five six, last seven years we've
- 44:51Speaker 2: been questioning maybe the man might be the greatest of
- 44:54Speaker 2: all time, not the greatest in baseball. We don't skipped
- 44:57Speaker 2: over that. We're questioning, Wow, I don't know have we
- 45:01Speaker 2: ever seen this before? This man? Just when you when
- 45:04Speaker 2: have you seen somebody strip ten people out and hit
- 45:07Speaker 2: three home runs? What day that? Were you sleeping? Big Kenny?
- 45:11Speaker 2: You're a baseball guy, and when when did you see that?
- 45:14Speaker 2: All those years in baseball that time he did it?
- 45:17Speaker 2: And when people would tell you, Babe Ruth would do it,
- 45:21Speaker 2: we thought they was you know what I'm saying. We
- 45:23Speaker 2: thought that was they were lying. That was just something
- 45:26Speaker 2: that over time, you know how the story get built up.
- 45:28Speaker 2: Ain't nobody struck no ten people out and hit three
- 45:31Speaker 2: home runs and is hard to strike ten people. And
- 45:36Speaker 2: then he came out of the dug out and hit
- 45:39Speaker 2: the home run. Then he struck three more out And
- 45:41Speaker 2: that's all I'm saying. This is Bill Pollion, All these people,
- 45:46Speaker 2: if you can't do it without biased, then don't do it.
- 45:49Speaker 2: And that's why I said, you really need to start
- 45:52Speaker 2: putting in. If one super Bowl gets you in the
- 45:55Speaker 2: Hall of Fame, what do six do sports? Yeah, I
- 46:01Speaker 2: have a question if anything, if anything, six nullifies anybody
- 46:06Speaker 2: with one. So Mike Tomlin can't get in, right, So
- 46:10Speaker 2: do you remember when he had because you ain't even
- 46:12Speaker 2: own you ain't even close to it. Now, does this
- 46:16Speaker 2: vindicate Turle Owen? That's what I'm glad? Does this vindicate?
- 46:21Speaker 2: This shows he said that he didn't want to go
- 46:24Speaker 2: to the induction ceremony beause he was protesting the voting process.
- 46:29Speaker 2: Bill Bill Belichick shouldn't even let them use his name.
- 46:36Speaker 2: He probably won't. He should let them understand that. Don't
- 46:43Speaker 2: give me a gold jacket, don't put me in and
- 46:46Speaker 2: see that, don't even I'm so in right now right,
- 46:52Speaker 2: I don't actually need you to help me be where
- 46:57Speaker 2: I need to be. I don't need your branding to
- 47:00Speaker 2: say I am Kobe Beef. And what I'm saying is
- 47:03Speaker 2: it takes. It takes.
- 47:06Speaker 6: People only got offended when someone so accomplished and beloved
- 47:11Speaker 6: was snubbed. There have been players far before them.
- 47:15Speaker 2: It been saying that the process is flawed and nobody
- 47:19Speaker 2: everybody's just sort of like we say at the top
- 47:21Speaker 2: of the hour, they think you being mad. But too
- 47:24Speaker 2: for me and a lot of people in most of
- 47:27Speaker 2: the world, the issue with t O is what I
- 47:30Speaker 2: just said. Then y'all need to put the numbers so
- 47:33Speaker 2: we already know, we already need to know that if
- 47:37Speaker 2: you catch ninety touchdowns, you're gonna go to the Hall
- 47:40Speaker 2: of Fame. That's where that position. But Bill Belichick has
- 47:46Speaker 2: more Super Bowls than anybody, so it's not subjective at
- 47:52Speaker 2: that point. See too might have Jared Rice in front
- 47:55Speaker 2: of him in this category or Randy mass So you
- 47:58Speaker 2: get a little up and down space three nothing I'm
- 48:02Speaker 2: to say, but you get this, yeah, yeah, there's no
- 48:06Speaker 2: one to compare to Bill Belichick. Bill Belichick two yees six,
- 48:12Speaker 2: those has four, and then you get to three. Andy
- 48:17Speaker 2: Reid has three. I think Joe Gibbs has three to
- 48:20Speaker 2: Bill Walsh. You know, you can start getting to those.
- 48:24Speaker 2: So it goes from six to four to three to
- 48:28Speaker 2: a whole bunch of ones. So now you have nullified
- 48:33Speaker 2: all the ones five years. You can't tell me that
- 48:38Speaker 2: Mike Tomlin is the first ballot. You just this is
- 48:46Speaker 2: not one of those subjectives. It's like height. You are
- 48:49Speaker 2: the height that you are, Pavia. Now you can show
- 48:54Speaker 2: me how you can be better than that, But that's
- 48:58Speaker 2: not Weight is subjected to because you get to choose
- 49:03Speaker 2: what weight you walk around in life, how tall you are,
- 49:07Speaker 2: how big your feet grow, have nothing to do with you.
- 49:11Speaker 2: That's it. And that's what Bill Bella, he's your height.
- 49:16Speaker 2: This is just wrong and it breaks down everything of
- 49:20Speaker 2: any kind of hall of fame that that could be.
- 49:28Speaker 2: You hold Jordan out because he what.
- 49:33Speaker 19: What?
- 49:33Speaker 2: What? What did Michael Jordan do from a drug dealer
- 49:37Speaker 2: that was playing golf with and we we didn't all
- 49:41Speaker 2: take a twenty thousand dollars check from a drug dealer?
- 49:43Speaker 2: Am I right? What about that?
- 49:45Speaker 1: My right?
- 49:45Speaker 2: Remember when he gave us six fifty game point games in.
- 49:48Speaker 20: A row, six these men. We'll be back more to
- 49:53Speaker 20: Sports Jock Show right after this, the Weaverdent stuff.

- 52:19Speaker 21: Center Court on sports News gossip blah blah blah blah blah.
- 52:34Speaker 2: You he's a friend of mine and he goes on
- 52:41Speaker 2: a name justin Welcome back to this spoe shop show.
- 52:50Speaker 2: I'm in the sport shock Wayne Ganny, Good morning to you.
- 52:53Speaker 2: We could talk about this Bill Jeff Belichick thing, because
- 52:56Speaker 2: it just it's one of the saddest moments in sports
- 53:00Speaker 2: for me that's happened in a while outside of somebody
- 53:04Speaker 2: actually physically dying. Uh, this is just very sad to me.
- 53:09Speaker 2: For the sports world, it's kind of a blessing because
- 53:13Speaker 2: it's a table I've been hoping got turned over about
- 53:16Speaker 2: how these voting and all these situations. It goes right along.
- 53:21Speaker 2: That's why I say this is what's wrong with a Marriora.
- 53:23Speaker 2: It goes right along with our polity, It goes along
- 53:26Speaker 2: with certain things like the Heisman Trophy. All it goes together.
- 53:32Speaker 2: Why is it always four quarterbacks and another dude? How
- 53:37Speaker 2: did you You got an award for the best player
- 53:39Speaker 2: in college football but it's only for quarterbacks and a dude?
- 53:45Speaker 2: Just to say that you invited another dude, that's all
- 53:47Speaker 2: it be. You know that guy always comes in fifth.
- 53:51Speaker 2: You ever noticed that it's four quarterbacks and a dude's
- 53:57Speaker 2: And it's an argument right now that Miles Garrett deserves
- 54:02Speaker 2: the MVP. Even that's what I'm saying. Even on the
- 54:04Speaker 2: NFL level, it becomes I think this year there's four
- 54:08Speaker 2: quarterbacks in the violence and Christian McCaffrey, like nobody else
- 54:13Speaker 2: is going, nobody else is on the field. He's gonna
- 54:17Speaker 2: be fit. Nobody else is out there on the field.
- 54:20Speaker 2: He's gonna come in field watch how it works. And
- 54:22Speaker 2: it's just, uh, we're talking about Bill Belichick's the issues everybody.
- 54:26Speaker 2: So Drew Brees can't go in because of bounty gate.
- 54:33Speaker 2: Yeah he was with the team because trust me, quarterbacks
- 54:36Speaker 2: are the first one to put up the bounty. They
- 54:39Speaker 2: wanted the biggest check. They didn't want to walk in there,
- 54:41Speaker 2: have the time with the idea, and all of you
- 54:44Speaker 2: that had no interest in the locker room didn't even
- 54:47Speaker 2: understand bounty gate because you're watching westerns. It was just
- 54:53Speaker 2: players getting together and if and just putting more motivation.
- 55:00Speaker 2: So everybody puts one hundred dollars for anyone that scores
- 55:04Speaker 2: a defensive touchdown, anybody that returns a kick or a
- 55:10Speaker 2: punt spiffs, that's what we call it. Anybody that it
- 55:14Speaker 2: was just that, but you put a label like it
- 55:16Speaker 2: was go out there and hurt somebody. No, most of
- 55:20Speaker 2: it was just things of trying to get you scooping
- 55:23Speaker 2: score ran. We all just put money up because it's
- 55:28Speaker 2: a big game. The Saints want to beat the Falcon
- 55:31Speaker 2: So we've just out here gasing each other up. Man, Hey, anybody,
- 55:35Speaker 2: we're gonna put all this money together and we're gonna
- 55:38Speaker 2: you're just offering some dude that's making eight million dollars
- 55:43Speaker 2: six dollars, but that six hundred dollars feel bigger. Yes,
- 55:46Speaker 2: I got it from my bull want because usually he
- 55:52Speaker 2: walked right in there. Man, who does on mean tonight,
- 55:55Speaker 2: we're about to spend it right now? Right go buy
- 55:58Speaker 2: nothing from me. You're just gonna go out right now.
- 56:01Speaker 2: It's spending this money. Everybody get a shot. I wanted
- 56:05Speaker 2: to ask, do they maybe this would be a bad
- 56:08Speaker 2: producer question. Do they vote on or do they bet
- 56:12Speaker 2: on who gets in the Hall of Fame? Does that
- 56:16Speaker 2: just take money I've never saw right now. I haven't
- 56:20Speaker 2: never because now and this is or anything on that.
- 56:24Speaker 2: But that shouldn't be. It shouldn't be because if if
- 56:27Speaker 2: they're doing something like that with Benny, then almost forts
- 56:30Speaker 2: Josh All everything needs to be out doing well I'm saying,
- 56:33Speaker 2: I mean, it's all a set up. It's all an illusion.
- 56:36Speaker 6: From now well, my point being that we've seen everything
- 56:41Speaker 6: except Hall of Fame inductions. And awards be affected by
- 56:45Speaker 6: the implement of gambling in professional sports and college sports.
- 56:51Speaker 6: We've seen players be implemented, We've seen coaches and officials
- 56:57Speaker 6: be implemented. We've seen the FBI involved all of this
- 57:01Speaker 6: kinds of stuff, and a lot of that is predicated
- 57:05Speaker 6: on those prop bets and things like that. If they're
- 57:07Speaker 6: taking bets on who gets in and who gets voted,
- 57:11Speaker 6: they are taking bets.
- 57:12Speaker 2: Yes on Klshi because you can basically bet on anything
- 57:18Speaker 2: right now.
- 57:20Speaker 7: As far as with the finalist potential finalists, Adam Vinitry
- 57:24Speaker 7: has the highest, uh, that's the best odds of getting it.
- 57:29Speaker 7: So well, I'm saying, couldn't say it. Well, they're saying seventy.
- 57:35Speaker 2: But what I'm saying, how much to the dollar amount?
- 57:38Speaker 2: Like three to two two.
- 57:41Speaker 21: One?
- 57:42Speaker 6: Okay, So let's imagine this. Let's imagine that somehow I've
- 57:45Speaker 6: got to vote in the NFL Hall of Fame, and
- 57:48Speaker 6: I'm voting that everybody's voting that. When you announce who's
- 57:53Speaker 6: being considered, everybody's automatically Belichick going, but I'm voting he
- 57:57Speaker 6: don't make the finals, and I withhold my vote and
- 58:03Speaker 6: he don't make the finals, and somehow miraculously I hit.
- 58:06Speaker 2: No, this is hate. I'm saying. This has nothing to
- 58:10Speaker 2: do with profit. What I'm saying I would love for
- 58:13Speaker 2: it to be just hate. I used to think it
- 58:15Speaker 2: was just a bad play. I used to think it
- 58:18Speaker 2: was just an off night. This is hate, and that's
- 58:21Speaker 2: what his personal vengeance it has to be. But even
- 58:25Speaker 2: that is bad enough. Pat Bowling the Broncos Owner Hall
- 58:31Speaker 2: of Fame, Eddie the Bartlowe Hall of Fame, Ralph Wilson
- 58:34Speaker 2: of the Buffalo Bills Hall of Fame, Dan Rooney Hall
- 58:37Speaker 2: of Fame, Lamar Hunt Hall of Fame, Art Rooney Senior
- 58:41Speaker 2: Hall of Fame, George Hallis Hall of Fame, Al Davis
- 58:45Speaker 2: Hall of Fame. You did not hear me. Those are
- 58:48Speaker 2: the owners in the Hall of Fame. Robert Kraft has
- 58:52Speaker 2: more Super Bowls than any of them. He had to
- 58:56Speaker 2: make that. He's a stillness case, the status case. He's
- 59:00Speaker 2: still not not not just more Super Bowls, but seventeen
- 59:05Speaker 2: playoff runs in twenty years. Correct that. How many other
- 59:11Speaker 2: teams have a record like that, Because we have some
- 59:13Speaker 2: teams who haven't made the playoffs in twenty years. Ralph
- 59:17Speaker 2: Wilson didn't even win a Super Bowl, so as the
- 59:21Speaker 2: owner of the Bills and again, and and that's why
- 59:26Speaker 2: I said, there is there is a subjective vote, and
- 59:30Speaker 2: then there is just the there's Dwayne Gretzky. He retired
- 59:37Speaker 2: two days later. Hockey said, Okay, that's it you Hall
- 59:43Speaker 2: of Fame number number. There was no vote you didn't like,
- 59:47Speaker 2: Go have a council put your put your name on
- 59:51Speaker 2: the trophy. All of that, we ain't never seen nothing
- 59:53Speaker 2: like this. It's the same thing. I ain't never seen
- 59:55Speaker 2: nothing like that. Probably I'll never see it again. There's
- 59:57Speaker 2: certain things, certain people that it's just what it is.
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: That's how far beyond the stat they have gotten. We'll
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: be back more to sports Jock show red after this.
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: Hi, had you turned out?
- 1:00:17Speaker 11: Plus my mode trying to come find out one more time,
- 1:00:23Speaker 11: stop generating my mind.
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: I'm not her and she's.
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: Numb me and you know mine, john't bowl.
- 1:00:31Speaker 14: Wayne Board of the Sports Josh Hill with Wayne Gandy
- 1:00:34Speaker 14: is coming up next.
- 1:00:41Speaker 22: Choosing to buy a gun was not a decision I
- 1:00:43Speaker 22: took lightly, but with everything going on, I really wanted
- 1:00:46Speaker 22: to feel like I could protect myself. I hadn't thought
- 1:00:49Speaker 22: about the danger of an unlocked gun in my own
- 1:00:51Speaker 22: home too.
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: Me aware your napkins, not that drawer unless anyone.
- 1:00:57Speaker 18: Needs a gun.
- 1:01:01Speaker 22: Now, I always locked my gun to keep everyone safe.
- 1:01:04Speaker 22: Visit infamilyfire dot org to learn how to store your
- 1:01:07Speaker 22: guns more securely. Brought to you by Brady and the

- 1:01:10Speaker 3: Ever tried balancing a dozen eggs in one hand while
- 1:01:12Speaker 3: hopping on one foot, or maybe juggling cats while riding
- 1:01:16Speaker 3: the unicycle? Sounds ridiculous, right, but guess what? That's exactly
- 1:01:20Speaker 3: what texting while driving is like. Your human brain only
- 1:01:23Speaker 3: has the capacity to focus on one thing at a time,
- 1:01:26Speaker 3: So when you're behind the wheel, give driving your undivided attention.
- 1:01:30Speaker 23: Don't drive distracted. A message brought to you by the
- 1:01:33Speaker 23: National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Project yellow Light and the
- 1:01:37Speaker 23: AD Council.
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: Enough, I don't have.
- 1:01:48Speaker 9: Any serious and we hold the world ransom for.
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: Excuse me while I whip this out broadcasting live and
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: it led it to this. This is a sportsh sh.
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: With wing dandy.
- 1:02:05Speaker 4: You come so far it comes it comes to mind, isn't.
- 1:02:16Speaker 9: Just I'm doing Yeah, I'm gonna go on the way.
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: You welcome back to this one shock shot. I'm this sport,
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: shock wing dandee it is Thursday. We are moving slowly
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: towards Super Bowl. But this Bill Belichick to me is
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: just the world is is really just wow. I used
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: to try to leave a thin layer of hope, but
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: I see that hate and people's prejudice of who and
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: what they like can blind them on what's the best
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: thing to do or what actually is in front of them.
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: It's scary to believe we've gotten that far. I thought
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: it was snowball back and kind of maybe one day
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: it will. But right now, when you look at things
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: like Bill Belichick and we've laughed here for ten twelve years,
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: Big Kenny on different players that have come along. You
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: saw it here in Atlanta with Matt Ryan. You walk
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: around here, people would try to even argue the man's MVP.
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: They try to find a way that he want one
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: day being Canton, he's the only man he's ever won
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: the MVP for the Falcons. He has the best record,
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: he has all those things, not just the team MVP.
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: We're talking about the NFL. Yeah, you know he has
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: all those teams, but you, oh, no, remember he and
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: that's just what it is. Our boy right here, towards Lebron.
- 1:03:42Speaker 2: It just makes it clear Lebron that these are the
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: people that would be in the room that would try
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: to make it. They would sit there and think, well,
- 1:03:50Speaker 2: I don't want him to be a unanimous selection, So
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: I'm going to just like we talked. You said the
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: other day, how is Mario there the only baseball player
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: to unanimously go in the Hall of Fame? Like who
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: decided that jar Jeter was not there? Jeter? Which one
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: of you decided that it was just kind of which
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: one of Ricky Henderson was just don't remember that time.
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: You know, I'm just giving different names. I'm just through
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: through the sport. You're telling me only one man and
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: keep Pete Rose eighteen. You know, Pete Rose. This is
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: where you go to doing that thing with the Lebron James.
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: You start doing that where you're taking this man actually
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: bet on baseball while he was playing that you know
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: what I'm saying. We always got to get all the
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: whole story out. It's not just a rod Is a
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: Hall of Fame player but was caught and admitted to
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: doing steroids. We're talking about the people. You just I
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: think did it right? We get the people that you
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: actually caught with the test and then all that people
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: that you just mean, but you have to go back.
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: But you got to go back to the base person
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: who told me this person damn. But when baseball you
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: had to go back for you because they just added
- 1:05:44Speaker 2: the steroid thing in there, and there's before the Hall
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: of Fame, there's players that could have done I'm saying, regardless,
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: regardless of when they added it, that should have to
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: be a definitive results. It is now gambling on baseball.
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: Look at his head, bro his head to big gambling
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: on baseball been around since nineteen twenty. Yeah, so whatever
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: he's talking about, he's throwing us off subjects because we're
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: talking about on a fair surface the people that are
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: Actually he's the guy that would try to convince you
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: that Lebron James is not a unanimous not a unanimous
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: if Lebron's elder for the Hall of Fame right now,
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: are you and you had to vote, are you voting
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: for him? Yeah? I vote for him. I don't believe you.
- 1:06:31Speaker 2: I don't either, I don't need I don't I don't
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: put you. And I was thinking to myself, just because
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: he's been put on the spot, and we discussed not
- 1:06:38Speaker 2: because he doesn't just going to get in right, because
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: he wouldn't want him He would want to be able
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: to say he be he was unanimous, Yeah, and he
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: he don't want to be labeled to hate her this
- 1:06:49Speaker 2: morning because everybody mad at haters today. There's some reporter
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: that Serena didn't give an interview to that would not
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: the keep her out, but to keep it from being unanimous.
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: Because there's certain names that we just said who didn't
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: vote for Willy made up until yesterday. We talked about
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: it even as we're older men now, but when we
- 1:07:17Speaker 2: were fifty years ago, we talked about Willie Made like
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: we saw him play man. It been retired by the
- 1:07:24Speaker 2: time we even came to Watite baseball, but that's how
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: legendary he was. This dude. He even was still still
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: in bases or trying to catch the ball. People was
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: getting pitched, were trying to catch the ball over their head,
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: trying to emulate that kind of situation.
- 1:07:44Speaker 6: And see he look fun. This is it sports h up.
- 1:07:48Speaker 6: Until this, haters had a place in society. They were
- 1:07:52Speaker 6: gaining strength. Did somebody did this? Didn they kicked the puppy?
- 1:07:59Speaker 2: You know, don't get mad till you hurt babies, a
- 1:08:01Speaker 2: little bit of animals and they wouldn't kick the puppy
- 1:08:04Speaker 2: and at going too far. Now you haters need to
- 1:08:12Speaker 2: stop it. You doing that. We were yeah, understood before,
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: I understood before now even and we didn't mention this,
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: but it was even to the point that people were
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: bringing up, well maybe because he has this young girlfriend. Now, no,
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: that's your people, that's your time. No, no, non is
- 1:08:28Speaker 2: people have big Kenny has alluded to me to there's
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: the world and then there's the group chat that you
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: deal in. I'm saying because to you, because you've been
- 1:08:40Speaker 2: on that, you've been, you've been in that the difference.
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: But anyway, my point is you live neither timeline, tell
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: your timeline. None of those people that didn't vote for
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: him wouldn't be with Jordan Hudson to the only reason
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: I'm saying, I'm telling you that all those old Bill
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: Polly and they wish some little flats twenty five year old,
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: we're coming there that little time. Do you have another
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: question other than that, That's what I'm saying. So it
- 1:09:06Speaker 2: goes to me to think about where's the privacy. I
- 1:09:08Speaker 2: mean back I want hopefully were going to talk about
- 1:09:11Speaker 2: the Coco golf and her privacy, asking that they're asking
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: for why athletes can't have more privacy. You asked me
- 1:09:17Speaker 2: that you missed the spy. I don't watch it. I
- 1:09:19Speaker 2: don't I'm not on that stuff. You tell me, mister,
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: I'm I'm the last of the group to know half
- 1:09:25Speaker 2: of the little who saw what? Because I don't go
- 1:09:28Speaker 2: on social media. Y'all come in here all the time
- 1:09:31Speaker 2: with stuff I wouldn't. Well you know what, she went
- 1:09:33Speaker 2: on round I can't hit USA today or something. I
- 1:09:36Speaker 2: don't know what's in your in bossab Well, no, this
- 1:09:39Speaker 2: wasn't bossip. It's a thing with coke. You don't believe
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: in privacy until you want to believe in privacy. I've
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: been talking about privacy since somebody filmed the Lakers playing
- 1:09:47Speaker 2: volleyball one day and I said, well, that's not right.
- 1:09:51Speaker 2: How you're gonna be I've been talking about privacy here
- 1:09:54Speaker 2: doing this right? And that I think was Kyle Kuzman.
- 1:09:57Speaker 2: Some guys were playing some some volley in one of
- 1:10:00Speaker 2: their backyards and somebody filmed them from way over wave
- 1:10:05Speaker 2: across the beach, and I said, how is that, how
- 1:10:08Speaker 2: is that legal? And then I got to offend it
- 1:10:10Speaker 2: when they did it to Marcus Jordan when he's at
- 1:10:12Speaker 2: the Olympics having breakfast and he had a little bush.
- 1:10:17Speaker 2: He didn't do she did uploaded, Hey uploaded it just
- 1:10:20Speaker 2: a little too for his eggs come out across the
- 1:10:23Speaker 2: street on the roof, the roof across the street, zooming
- 1:10:27Speaker 2: in on this man. So I don't know. I don't
- 1:10:29Speaker 2: That's why I'm asking you. I'm with Coco. I don't
- 1:10:31Speaker 2: know why I didn't have a meltdown, a meltdown as
- 1:10:34Speaker 2: I did it in the in the rn of the
- 1:10:37Speaker 2: not just in the arena, but in the time of
- 1:10:39Speaker 2: that we are playing. Yeah, what I do before the
- 1:10:43Speaker 2: match off the court and what I do after the
- 1:10:45Speaker 2: match off the court is not a meltdown. She was
- 1:10:49Speaker 2: she as a young lady. She's letting you know. I
- 1:10:52Speaker 2: needed about ten seconds basically, the scream out loud, that's all.
- 1:10:57Speaker 2: And in between leaving the court and getting back there
- 1:10:59Speaker 2: with a west the rest of the women maybe or
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: my coaches, I took a break to get it out
- 1:11:04Speaker 2: of me because it got to go somewhere. It's got
- 1:11:06Speaker 2: to get out, and I don't want to get home
- 1:11:09Speaker 2: and have to slap my boyfriend about to say it's
- 1:11:11Speaker 2: got to get out far. I get to the house
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: because it's coming out because I told him to get
- 1:11:15Speaker 2: that vegan It's coming out, getting vegan cheese out the refrigerator.
- 1:11:20Speaker 2: I'm gonna need some real protein, beef, some potatoes, and
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: he talking about some to food and now I got
- 1:11:29Speaker 2: him him duck. If I'd have just had them ten seconds,
- 1:11:32Speaker 2: I'd have been okay. Deon Sanders. And this is another
- 1:11:35Speaker 2: thing pro football. None of you want to hear. I'm
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: not on him. I don't do this show. It can't
- 1:11:40Speaker 2: even bad. Du sir. They've known me. I don't do
- 1:11:42Speaker 2: this show to be an oracle. I just read what
- 1:11:46Speaker 2: you give me. I've discussed with you guys plenty of time.
- 1:11:53Speaker 2: Sports Shop in his long career, was only fined once
- 1:12:00Speaker 2: in the NFL. It was the first day after training
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: camp in the new facility. This was back in ninety four.
- 1:12:12Speaker 2: They give you the itinerary, they tell you how it goes,
- 1:12:15Speaker 2: breakfast blest this rookies proposed to It said weightlifting seven
- 1:12:23Speaker 2: to ten. I stopped reading because right underneath it it
- 1:12:27Speaker 2: said rookies have to be there at seven. So I
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: didn't miss the weightlifting, right, I just didn't read because
- 1:12:35Speaker 2: I just looked at it. Oh seventy ten. I got
- 1:12:37Speaker 2: to ten o'clock to get this weightlifting in. When I
- 1:12:41Speaker 2: got thereboy read about eight thirty. It was a five
- 1:12:45Speaker 2: hundred dollar fine for being late. That's pro football. Deon Sanders, who,
- 1:12:57Speaker 2: if anything, I love a D one is a little
- 1:13:01Speaker 2: head of the curve. That's what part of the shakeup
- 1:13:06Speaker 2: is in college football. He's teetering on pro That's what
- 1:13:15Speaker 2: he's been doing. He's always he's blurring the lines edge,
- 1:13:21Speaker 2: he's creating free agency, he's softening the edges, he's creating
- 1:13:25Speaker 2: the advertising. He's you know, and that's the thing. The
- 1:13:29Speaker 2: other coaches aren't so mad at him for doing it
- 1:13:31Speaker 2: as much as they don't know how to play that game.
- 1:13:33Speaker 2: We were going by title nine and Title twelve and
- 1:13:37Speaker 2: this and that you can't give an athlete a ride
- 1:13:40Speaker 2: to the mailbox, and Dion was finding them loophole, well,
- 1:13:45Speaker 2: five hundred dollars being late to practice. It's what Colorado
- 1:13:50Speaker 2: will be finding. These guys sounded like pro sports to me,
- 1:13:56Speaker 2: because first of all, you got to have have five
- 1:14:01Speaker 2: hundred dollars that we are paying you because it's not
- 1:14:08Speaker 2: like I say, you gotta It's not like court, I
- 1:14:11Speaker 2: assess you the finding, you go get the money and
- 1:14:13Speaker 2: bring it back. We just withhold the money. So we
- 1:14:17Speaker 2: have to be paying you more than five hundred dollars
- 1:14:19Speaker 2: to charge you five And this is for every time
- 1:14:22Speaker 2: I'm like to practice. Does that not ring out pro sports? Well, well,
- 1:14:27Speaker 2: I'm saying, well, no, no, that's not the question I
- 1:14:30Speaker 2: want to ask is if it's not pro sports, what
- 1:14:33Speaker 2: is it. That's where I want to know. No more steps,
- 1:14:37Speaker 2: no more running. If you late, I really run, get that.
- 1:14:41Speaker 2: Everybody would rather run than pay. There is no there
- 1:14:43Speaker 2: is no extra running in pro am. I doing that.
- 1:14:46Speaker 2: You said ten ten, I don't care. Command down up
- 1:14:53Speaker 2: and down up down. I'm not on that ground. I
- 1:14:57Speaker 2: almost didn't practice to day. Is that all I gotta
- 1:15:03Speaker 2: do to avoid the fine is show up on times?
- 1:15:06Speaker 2: Up down done? After high school. I'm just here not
- 1:15:10Speaker 2: to get fine. I just show up. I didn't come,
- 1:15:13Speaker 2: I didn't come to say nothing. I'm just here to
- 1:15:15Speaker 2: get not get fine. We'll be back right after this.

- 1:18:33Speaker 6: switched to you in fact, but I was gonna say
- 1:18:35Speaker 6: the Vikings, so I'd have been wrong.
- 1:18:37Speaker 2: Doug Peterson won that first Super Bowl in twenty eighteen
- 1:18:41Speaker 2: with the Eagles. Matt Ruhle is fifty one. He's at Nebraska, Yes,

- 1:18:51Speaker 2: because he went you want to cut him that check?
- 1:18:53Speaker 2: No more? And didn't he take his brother with him?
- 1:18:56Speaker 2: His brother? Well, really they fired They fired his own uncle, right,
- 1:19:00Speaker 2: and the old line coach, and then Dylan said he
- 1:19:02Speaker 2: was leaving where they're going to, like USC Oregon. I
- 1:19:06Speaker 2: knew it was west out there the Tennessee Titan who
- 1:19:09Speaker 2: head coach Roberts Robert Sala forty seven. Brian Finneran is
- 1:19:15Speaker 2: fifty former Falcon Brian Finneran so Vernon Davis won a
- 1:19:20Speaker 2: forty nine or forty two. Nolan Ryan was not unanimous.
- 1:19:24Speaker 2: I cannot believe that he never wanted somehow never wanted
- 1:19:28Speaker 2: to say you. And he had that heat, that heat
- 1:19:31Speaker 2: up Jr. He went to bat with fear Houston had
- 1:19:37Speaker 2: because you know back then you could chin check free.
- 1:19:39Speaker 2: Chin check was easy. That was just part of the game.
- 1:19:42Speaker 2: Better not be too close to the plate. I told
- 1:19:44Speaker 2: you back up at Kenny's no crowd in the plate,
- 1:19:47Speaker 2: and I'm waiting on you to fight too. Nolan was
- 1:19:49Speaker 2: ready for the fight though. And what's that? What's he
- 1:19:53Speaker 2: wasn't he you with that? Greg Maddox like, I'm sorry
- 1:19:55Speaker 2: he throw it and turned his back too, Yeah, wondering
- 1:19:58Speaker 2: what's that? Burnings man Robin Ventura knows, is that the hell?
- 1:20:03Speaker 2: He turned his back and looking at the short thought
- 1:20:05Speaker 2: he's running. He's Nolan Ryan seventy nine years old. Is

- 1:23:46Speaker 2: the fence. But she's what sixty six sixty sixty seven,
- 1:23:49Speaker 2: so I got a few years to catch her. I'm

- 1:24:12Speaker 2: but can you swim like aquaman? Are we gonna see
- 1:24:16Speaker 2: my eyes work on the water? I just need my
- 1:24:19Speaker 2: eyes to work in the dark. That's all a Gonzalez,
- 1:24:23Speaker 2: that's how you said, Isaac. Yeah, that's how I'm gonna say.
- 1:24:27Speaker 2: Six years old. He's a he's a she grown. San
- 1:24:33Speaker 2: Francisco Giants are being sued over junk fees. Junk fees.
- 1:24:38Speaker 2: Is that what you told me? Come in she junk fees? Yeah,
- 1:24:42Speaker 2: in the ticket price. And we've been talking about we've
- 1:24:44Speaker 2: been laughing about it, but it's true. We've been talking
- 1:24:47Speaker 2: about rental cars and hotels and different things like service
- 1:24:51Speaker 2: on service anything anything. When you go to rent the fight,
- 1:24:56Speaker 2: how there's four or five different things charged on there
- 1:24:59Speaker 2: that this seem like they're just made up. FCC transfer
- 1:25:03Speaker 2: seven seventy nine end up being one hundred and thirty
- 1:25:06Speaker 2: two dollars. Well, that was the FCC transfer fee. What
- 1:25:12Speaker 2: is that? That's where you know they transfer a fee
- 1:25:15Speaker 2: because of FCC. You'd be like, what for, and then
- 1:25:20Speaker 2: they're going to tell you somebody and then you have
- 1:25:22Speaker 2: the whole long Yeah, they're being sued. The ticket is
- 1:25:30Speaker 2: ended up at one that's fifty two dollars, and and
- 1:25:34Speaker 2: they're suing them for this, and they're suing the giants
- 1:25:37Speaker 2: to eliminate it for their money back. Now, now, this
- 1:25:42Speaker 2: is gonna be one of those landmark cases where, like
- 1:25:45Speaker 2: they said with the Jordan situation, that's going to change
- 1:25:47Speaker 2: the face of NASCAR. This will change the face of
- 1:25:50Speaker 2: marketing professional sports and everything else. Because if I can
- 1:25:53Speaker 2: get it out of my football ticket, I would to
- 1:25:55Speaker 2: be able to get it out of my phone to
- 1:25:57Speaker 2: order a ticket. I expect the ticket plus the tax.
- 1:26:00Speaker 2: That's really about all people, that's all you're starting to
- 1:26:05Speaker 2: put in activation over. I got to help trying to
- 1:26:08Speaker 2: pay for that commission, the sales rep commission. I mean,
- 1:26:11Speaker 2: give them that piece out of that price. And I
- 1:26:13Speaker 2: know after COVID everybody went to this trying to add
- 1:26:16Speaker 2: on past the cost, you know, on to you. Y'all
- 1:26:22Speaker 2: gotta pay for your gas to come give me an estimate.
- 1:26:26Speaker 2: You ever notice how they fuel search ears that stuff.
- 1:26:29Speaker 2: We'll be back more Sports Jug Show. Those are called
- 1:26:32Speaker 2: business expensive.
- 1:26:37Speaker 18: You can.
- 1:26:41Speaker 2: You can.
- 1:26:46Speaker 14: Don't go awayne board of the Sports John Show with
- 1:26:48Speaker 14: Wayne Gamvidio's coming up next.
- 1:26:52Speaker 2: Hurting the game.
- 1:26:53Speaker 19: We tough it out, feel exhausted, we push on feeling down.
- 1:26:59Speaker 19: We pull ourselves up by the bootstraps. But there are
- 1:27:02Speaker 19: times when bootstraps aren't enough, when stress gets to us
- 1:27:06Speaker 19: and we need to talk to someone about what we're
- 1:27:08Speaker 19: really going through. So we're going to reach out because
- 1:27:11Speaker 19: sometimes mental health is not a one person job.

- 1:27:36Speaker 22: sweet potato pie recipe.
- 1:27:38Speaker 2: Some things come with it, says, and some don't.
- 1:27:41Speaker 25: Knowing the early signs of Alzheimer's and a left one
- 1:27:43Speaker 25: will help you make the best decisions for your family.

- 1:27:49Speaker 25: to you by the Alzheimer's Association and.

- 1:27:59Speaker 2: I need you. They stay, please don't always sing with me,
- 1:28:04Speaker 2: and that means that you do not.
- 1:28:07Speaker 1: And when you're going.

- 1:28:13Speaker 23: Don't drive distracted. A message brought to you by the
- 1:28:16Speaker 23: National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Project yellow Light and the
- 1:28:20Speaker 23: AD Council.
- 1:28:24Speaker 2: And now back to the Sports John Wayne.
- 1:28:26Speaker 21: Gandy Player's Lounge. You have been given full access to
- 1:28:34Speaker 21: the players lounge on the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy.
- 1:28:51Speaker 5: M H.
- 1:29:13Speaker 2: Walk back to the Sports Shock Show. I'm the Sports
- 1:29:15Speaker 2: Shock Wing. Candy boxer Javontate Davis finally arrested after weeks
- 1:29:20Speaker 2: long manhunt over a strip club domestic violence allegations. Young
- 1:29:25Speaker 2: lady in the strip club who says she had been
- 1:29:27Speaker 2: involved with Javonte Davis, claims that he came into the
- 1:29:32Speaker 2: establishment and a drug her out of this. This was
- 1:29:36Speaker 2: like two weeks ago. I only found the story interesting
- 1:29:41Speaker 2: because you take a case like that and you think,
- 1:29:47Speaker 2: if you're on the run for two weeks, you start
- 1:29:51Speaker 2: taking something that was a class this and pushing it
- 1:29:56Speaker 2: up to a class that. Felony by doing that correct
- 1:30:00Speaker 2: or do I have that part wrong? Well, you came
- 1:30:04Speaker 2: in with something that was gonna get sick. You may
- 1:30:06Speaker 2: get all your business together, excuse me, maybe getting his
- 1:30:09Speaker 2: lawyers and all his business afford. Well, I mean, you know,
- 1:30:15Speaker 2: you got to turn it self in and you gotta
- 1:30:16Speaker 2: get all your fairs together. I'm just thinking, and turn
- 1:30:19Speaker 2: itself in. Oh, come get him. And it was two weeks. Yeah,
- 1:30:23Speaker 2: well he was tripping, big Kenny. It will have extra charges.
- 1:30:31Speaker 2: Now whatever you did, the kidnapping, the assault, those things
- 1:30:35Speaker 2: will stand as what they are. If those are felonies,
- 1:30:38Speaker 2: those are felonies. Now you've added evading and all of
- 1:30:43Speaker 2: that to it too, which could be another felony, which
- 1:30:47Speaker 2: could be additional time that stuff. Yeah right, that's so. Yeah,
- 1:30:49Speaker 2: not turning yourself in is a lot worse. If you
- 1:30:52Speaker 2: went in. Yeah, you could have game out with six months.
- 1:30:56Speaker 2: Now you go in twelve months. Consideration. Yeah you know what, man,
- 1:31:00Speaker 2: he turned himself in, so they will give you consideration
- 1:31:04Speaker 2: for that. He didn't turn himself in.
- 1:31:06Speaker 6: Yeah, so that yeah, they will say he's a flight risk.
- 1:31:09Speaker 6: He's a fugitive from justice, and he's a flight risk.
- 1:31:12Speaker 6: So when it comes to bond and things like that.
- 1:31:14Speaker 6: They may restrict that, but he's not willing to come
- 1:31:16Speaker 6: to court because he ain't even willing to take accountability.
- 1:31:20Speaker 2: So and in future issues, right, it will. Last time
- 1:31:25Speaker 2: we looked for you for two weeks flight risk, Okay,
- 1:31:28Speaker 2: so just light ris just always seemed to be complicating
- 1:31:30Speaker 2: a situation. But now I understand. I understand if you
- 1:31:36Speaker 2: if you got a choice between being locked up or
- 1:31:38Speaker 2: making them come get you, You're not You're not. You're
- 1:31:41Speaker 2: not a person that I like to get things on
- 1:31:44Speaker 2: out the way. Yeah, I like to get things, but
- 1:31:49Speaker 2: I will confess this. I will confess this. One time
- 1:31:52Speaker 2: I ran until they had everybody but me, and then
- 1:31:54Speaker 2: I turned myself in after they had rounded up everybody else.
- 1:31:58Speaker 2: Ain't no sense in me heard first one, Hey you
- 1:32:02Speaker 2: going in last you might you want to catch the charges.
- 1:32:06Speaker 2: I wasn't worried about that part of it. I was
- 1:32:08Speaker 2: just worried about the being incarcerated for longer than I
- 1:32:12Speaker 2: wanted to be. So, like you said, I got my
- 1:32:14Speaker 2: affairs together, and then when they started popping up at
- 1:32:18Speaker 2: places that I felt like they shouldn't be looking for me,
- 1:32:20Speaker 2: like at my job, I'm finna go well. And I
- 1:32:23Speaker 2: said that based on from a sports dynamic, I was
- 1:32:26Speaker 2: always the guy. I want to go to the six am.
- 1:32:29Speaker 2: I want to get this running out the way. Yeah.
- 1:32:32Speaker 2: And I don't want to be sitting around till three
- 1:32:33Speaker 2: thirty to do the same running desk. Remember this is
- 1:32:36Speaker 2: not like something is gonna change, right you, You're still
- 1:32:41Speaker 2: going to do the same. It's running. Yeah. So and
- 1:32:44Speaker 2: I don't want to sit around all day. In retrospect,
- 1:32:47Speaker 2: that is the best. The most liberating thing I ever
- 1:32:51Speaker 2: did concerning crime was turn myself in because the running,
- 1:32:56Speaker 2: the being in different locations, and the hey man, you
- 1:32:58Speaker 2: know them folks came to my house looking for you,
- 1:33:01Speaker 2: and you've you've, you've we've all been there. And some
- 1:33:03Speaker 2: people have different philosophies. That's what I'm saying. There's no
- 1:33:05Speaker 2: right or wrong to me. It's just for my mindset.
- 1:33:09Speaker 2: I say it works. But it's better to go ahead
- 1:33:13Speaker 2: on and fix the tooth when the tooth first hurt,
- 1:33:15Speaker 2: when first start. If you have now, if you have
- 1:33:18Speaker 2: to wait because you got to build, that's a whole
- 1:33:20Speaker 2: nother thing, a whole nother thing. I don't have the
- 1:33:23Speaker 2: two hundred dollars three hundred dollars to fix the tooth.
- 1:33:25Speaker 2: But if you just but if I got the two
- 1:33:27Speaker 2: hundred dollars in my pocket right now and do it
- 1:33:31Speaker 2: right now, I'm one of those people. Can we do
- 1:33:34Speaker 2: it right now while I'm in the chair, because I
- 1:33:36Speaker 2: might as well going get through the pain. You got
- 1:33:39Speaker 2: a cavity? Can we fix it today? By the time
- 1:33:41Speaker 2: you're talking about come back, I could have been on,
- 1:33:43Speaker 2: got the stitches out, We could be on, moved on
- 1:33:45Speaker 2: with life. Been sitting around with anxiety and dissolved. Right man,
- 1:33:52Speaker 2: that's the fact. Uh n C Double A has approved
- 1:33:57Speaker 2: moving into the n C Double A Championship Man March Madness.
- 1:34:01Speaker 2: Schools will be able to allow patches, similar to the
- 1:34:05Speaker 2: NBA and the WNBA, where you can buy advertising. The
- 1:34:12Speaker 2: school can make deals with companies to put patches on
- 1:34:17Speaker 2: their uniform. Now, from what I read, this is what
- 1:34:20Speaker 2: be the school. This hasn't moved to where the player.
- 1:34:23Speaker 2: So what you think you're finn put a patch on
- 1:34:25Speaker 2: my jersey that paid the school eighteen million And I'm
- 1:34:28Speaker 2: not finna take fifty thousands. Okay, I'm just but I
- 1:34:32Speaker 2: bet you I only hit seven points in the first half.
- 1:34:35Speaker 2: You was expecting me to hit ten. I'm gonna just
- 1:34:37Speaker 2: hit seven. Well, well I'll let you go. Okay, Okay,
- 1:34:42Speaker 2: that's where we are. They'll get caught in the gambling
- 1:34:44Speaker 2: scin yeah, I get my money, So that's on you
- 1:34:47Speaker 2: and FBI not meat supposed like that's how you know
- 1:34:53Speaker 2: it goes into the nil. Well, the patches of it.
- 1:34:56Speaker 2: They're trying to figure out money streams for certain co
- 1:35:00Speaker 2: I keep telling people, you'd be surprised if your college
- 1:35:03Speaker 2: is actually making money because everybody thinks that every football
- 1:35:07Speaker 2: team and that's not true. That's not true, especially with
- 1:35:10Speaker 2: this nil deal. Well that's what they were just saying
- 1:35:12Speaker 2: recently with Ohio State getting Smith as the offensive coordinator
- 1:35:19Speaker 2: now Arthur Smith. Yeah, and with him being with the
- 1:35:23Speaker 2: FedEx connection Ohio State. If you happen to see FedEx
- 1:35:28Speaker 2: at Ohio State, now you pretty much know why because
- 1:35:31Speaker 2: like say, you need some of that that revenue. Oh,
- 1:35:35Speaker 2: they think that that's why he went and take No,
- 1:35:38Speaker 2: they ain't saying that's why he took a job. But
- 1:35:39Speaker 2: that's a smart move with that connection, and you have
- 1:35:43Speaker 2: he has that connection to FedEx. And if you're looking,
- 1:35:47Speaker 2: they needed some extra dollars, which Ohio State may not,
- 1:35:51Speaker 2: you know, they may not need those extra dollars, but
- 1:35:54Speaker 2: it'd be nice to have a FedEx patch. I guess
- 1:35:58Speaker 2: that could be a byproduct. I think I thought they
- 1:36:00Speaker 2: got author Smith because he kind of that's this issue
- 1:36:04Speaker 2: in the pros. It's it's style of offense is more
- 1:36:06Speaker 2: of a college style, kind of like, oh like how
- 1:36:10Speaker 2: Ohio likes to run, Ohio States likes to run ball control,
- 1:36:14Speaker 2: run the ball, tidy ends, things like that. So I
- 1:36:17Speaker 2: thought it was a solid higher. No, I'm not saying
- 1:36:20Speaker 2: it's not a solid higher. I'm just and I'm not
- 1:36:22Speaker 2: saying that. You're not saying, oh okay, because I know
- 1:36:24Speaker 2: you know, I got a little problem offended. Yeah, you
- 1:36:26Speaker 2: know what I mean. I don't want you to think
- 1:36:27Speaker 2: I'm hating all.
- 1:36:29Speaker 8: No.
- 1:36:30Speaker 2: No, if you ain't showing love, you hating. I was
- 1:36:32Speaker 2: showing them. It's one way I was showing. In between,
- 1:36:38Speaker 2: I was showing them Sanders added to the Pro Bowl roster. Baffling,
- 1:36:49Speaker 2: But it shows you. It shows you how sports have
- 1:36:53Speaker 2: moved to try to bring in names as much as
- 1:36:57Speaker 2: possible as one of those things. Once again, we were
- 1:37:00Speaker 2: my Pro Bowls and stuff like that, and I was
- 1:37:02Speaker 2: trying to tell you that a lot of that stuff
- 1:37:05Speaker 2: just be popularity. They start sending names and want the
- 1:37:09Speaker 2: names because people are not very much interested in it, right,
- 1:37:13Speaker 2: so they try to give you as many names for
- 1:37:17Speaker 2: you to tune in. Shaduor Sanders has a certain following,
- 1:37:22Speaker 2: like the Bad Producer that just to hear his name
- 1:37:25Speaker 2: being part of something. Now, I'm quite sure Bad Producer
- 1:37:29Speaker 2: will watch at least long enough to see whatever sh
- 1:37:33Speaker 2: Doer does, at least in the Pro Bowl. I said
- 1:37:36Speaker 2: that it weakens it because it shows how you will
- 1:37:41Speaker 2: always see Pro Bowl stamp on him. But nowhere man
- 1:37:48Speaker 2: wasn't necessarily the best quarterback on his team, but you
- 1:37:53Speaker 2: put him into Pro Bowl. But seven touchdowns and ten
- 1:37:56Speaker 2: interceptions on the season.
- 1:37:59Speaker 7: It's it's very because I was like, what, I know,
- 1:38:03Speaker 7: like some quarterbacks would in this case may have declined
- 1:38:08Speaker 7: the invite if they want to just get the rest,
- 1:38:11Speaker 7: get started on their offseason program whatever. Because a lot
- 1:38:15Speaker 7: of people brought up Trevor Lawrence, who is also an
- 1:38:20Speaker 7: MVP finalist, my first in sting was that he turned
- 1:38:25Speaker 7: it down. I think he turned it down just to
- 1:38:27Speaker 7: get his off season started, and that looked at who
- 1:38:32Speaker 7: else could have declined to get to Shadureuse. I thought, well,
- 1:38:39Speaker 7: cam Ward played the whole season, and I'm looking at
- 1:38:43Speaker 7: his numbers over three thousand yards, fifteen touchdowns, seven interceptions.
- 1:38:48Speaker 7: If Shador Sanders is worthy of a Pro Bowl, then
- 1:38:54Speaker 7: cam Ward had to have turned it down. I don't
- 1:38:56Speaker 7: think they bypassed him. I think he had to have
- 1:38:59Speaker 7: turned it down because if he if they bypassed him,
- 1:39:02Speaker 7: then this is just it is just for to get
- 1:39:05Speaker 7: the clicks, to get the views by putting him in.
- 1:39:08Speaker 7: Do you think the NFL is beyond that, beyond going
- 1:39:11Speaker 7: for the clicks of the views.
- 1:39:13Speaker 2: No, no, no, no, not that kind of stuff. Oh yeah,
- 1:39:19Speaker 2: Pro Bowl It's been that way. Yeah, that's why I
- 1:39:23Speaker 2: was going. I was a little incredulous when I was
- 1:39:25Speaker 2: like waiting a minute. You don't think that they would
- 1:39:27Speaker 2: skip a cam Ward just to put somebody in that
- 1:39:30Speaker 2: they know the algorithm will push. Now, I don't think
- 1:39:33Speaker 2: they would. Yeah, he's definitely the most popular of any
- 1:39:37Speaker 2: that would have been left. Once you get the Patrick Mahomes,
- 1:39:41Speaker 2: you know situation, the boat nixes out of the way,
- 1:39:44Speaker 2: then you start looking for who would bring some eyes
- 1:39:48Speaker 2: That Ducer was not looking at the Pro Bowl this year.
- 1:39:52Speaker 2: But now that you do, is there. Uh, hes gonna
- 1:39:54Speaker 2: watch the whole thing. He gonna watch the pre game,
- 1:39:57Speaker 2: Go buy the jersey, he gonna buy the door s
- 1:40:00Speaker 2: wait till you get that, and then and then he's
- 1:40:03Speaker 2: gonna argue. See this what I've been trying to tell you,
- 1:40:08Speaker 2: I ain't got you see And that's why we shouldn't
- 1:40:12Speaker 2: have Kevin Stefanski in Atlanta. I ain't never water Sports Show.

- 1:42:56Speaker 2: I'll say, even Jemy waiting back to this woy Shock
- 1:43:01Speaker 2: shot thispoy Shock Wayne, can he good morning to you Gbad?
- 1:43:04Speaker 2: You Greg Bad producer, Big Kenny in the building, Big Kenny.
- 1:43:07Speaker 2: We got some traffic online. Yeah, our low online listeners
- 1:43:11Speaker 2: have been with us since the beginning of the first
- 1:43:14Speaker 2: hour of Sports Jock. And we had a comment by
- 1:43:18Speaker 2: our man Ravishing Ray who was just saying practice. When
- 1:43:21Speaker 2: we kept on talking about people practicing in the amount
- 1:43:24Speaker 2: of practice that they were willing to do, he commented practice.
- 1:43:28Speaker 2: And then we've had let me get right here, my
- 1:43:32Speaker 2: man Baron Duffy, when we were talking about getting into
- 1:43:35Speaker 2: the Hall of Fame. Well, first we.
- 1:43:37Speaker 6: Were talking about weight and height and the what do
- 1:43:42Speaker 6: we call it, the media release, and our raider Fans
- 1:43:50Speaker 6: said that he weighs himself at home. He tells his doctor.
- 1:43:54Speaker 6: I weave myself at home with no clothes on, and
- 1:43:58Speaker 6: when he gets on the scale at the doctor, he
- 1:43:59Speaker 6: make him take off for the shoes and the keys
- 1:44:02Speaker 6: and the belt. Baron Duffy says, we all know what
- 1:44:05Speaker 6: time it is. America is about clubs and secret societies.
- 1:44:09Speaker 6: He says, George Carlin said it best. He also believes
- 1:44:13Speaker 6: that folks are selected, not elected, to these hall of fames.
- 1:44:19Speaker 6: And then Uncle Charlie says, turn myself in, forget that
- 1:44:24Speaker 6: catch me if you can, just saying, that's spoken like
- 1:44:27Speaker 6: a true Johnson.
- 1:44:28Speaker 2: That's how I was raised. Make them people do their job. Now,
- 1:44:31Speaker 2: I understand turning yourself in, now it makes sense in
- 1:44:34Speaker 2: the long run. But if you need to going around, yeah,
- 1:44:38Speaker 2: you make them do the job. Yeah, just going around,
- 1:44:40Speaker 2: it'll work out. It all work out, because if you're
- 1:44:43Speaker 2: going to jail, I'm saying, if you going to jail,
- 1:44:45Speaker 2: might as well wait.
- 1:44:46Speaker 6: Has always been the philosophy, might as well wait to
- 1:44:49Speaker 6: go to them. Ain't no sense in Russian that really, yeah,
- 1:44:52Speaker 6: ain't no sense in rushing because.
- 1:44:54Speaker 2: And that's what right now, you're gonna tell little Kenny
- 1:44:58Speaker 2: the third, your grand sign that if the police looking
- 1:45:04Speaker 2: for you and you're facing jail time, just keep running.
- 1:45:07Speaker 2: Make them people do their job. Make them people do
- 1:45:10Speaker 2: their job. I'm not saying this right. Is that something
- 1:45:13Speaker 2: you would tell your grandson. Great, I don't want to
- 1:45:18Speaker 2: be implicated in anything, So that's up to you. Yeah,
- 1:45:23Speaker 2: the kids might snitch now. They said, well, my granddad
- 1:45:25Speaker 2: told me to keep running, and then they say you
- 1:45:27Speaker 2: got ay charge. So that's the answer, Or you would
- 1:45:32Speaker 2: Is that advice you would give your grandkids? No, I
- 1:45:34Speaker 2: ain't giving them no run that boy you be take,
- 1:45:37Speaker 2: I'm gonna take you down there to them people. Yeah,
- 1:45:41Speaker 2: it's either like if you're gonna run, I'm not. Nowadays
- 1:45:45Speaker 2: nowadays they so you're gonna turn yourself in, I'm taking
- 1:45:50Speaker 2: my if i'm taking my child, I'm taking Hey. Look,
- 1:45:53Speaker 2: let's see what these folks got. Because it sounds like
- 1:45:55Speaker 2: a couple of seconds ago he was saying he would evade. No,
- 1:45:59Speaker 2: I said, I'm not giving nobody advice to say, because
- 1:46:03Speaker 2: nowadays you could get caught up as far as the
- 1:46:05Speaker 2: necessary said, well, I was my granddaddy or my uncle
- 1:46:09Speaker 2: told me to keep running. Oh you see that. You
- 1:46:12Speaker 2: don't believe you should run if that's your choice. But
- 1:46:16Speaker 2: don't give nobody else that advice to run. Now me myself, Well,
- 1:46:22Speaker 2: I'm saying I'm not gonna give you no advice that
- 1:46:24Speaker 2: I wouldn't take for myself. If I'm gonna turn myself in,
- 1:46:27Speaker 2: I'm gonna tell you to turn just what I say.
- 1:46:29Speaker 2: I ain't gonna tell nobody to turn theyself in. If
- 1:46:31Speaker 2: I know that I'm gonna keep you for two weeks,
- 1:46:35Speaker 2: might get an extra four months. And you're saying the
- 1:46:39Speaker 2: two weeks on the run was worth the extra four months,
- 1:46:42Speaker 2: because unless you can tell me why being out for
- 1:46:45Speaker 2: two extra weeks made my case better than why am
- 1:46:49Speaker 2: I running. In sports, they learned that with acls you
- 1:46:56Speaker 2: should wait a couple of weeks before the search or
- 1:47:00Speaker 2: the surgery. You try to strengthen the muscle for a
- 1:47:03Speaker 2: lot of if you can. I didn't know that, And
- 1:47:06Speaker 2: they learned that you shouldn't put your leg in a
- 1:47:09Speaker 2: cast keep it more, you should bend it as soon
- 1:47:12Speaker 2: as possible, because it's not about fixing the ligament as
- 1:47:16Speaker 2: much as it is about the scar tissue and the
- 1:47:19Speaker 2: weakness of the muscle. So so what I'm saying is
- 1:47:23Speaker 2: I'm okay, I'm y'all guys are seniors. I would listen
- 1:47:27Speaker 2: to you if you told me to go run sports shop,
- 1:47:30Speaker 2: but I would need to know that if the running
- 1:47:34Speaker 2: does not hurt me, and I run, well, if I can't,
- 1:47:36Speaker 2: I'm not gonna run. And then you say, well, that's
- 1:47:39Speaker 2: how I got the other But see six months. That's
- 1:47:43Speaker 2: the thing. I would not tell nobody to give anybody
- 1:47:45Speaker 2: that type of advice if I can't put something in
- 1:47:46Speaker 2: their hand to That's why I said, you're gonna be
- 1:47:49Speaker 2: a sess rey. If I can't put nothing in your
- 1:47:51Speaker 2: hand to say, hey, man, you've got to go low underground.
- 1:47:54Speaker 2: Here go a couple thousand connected this person, you can't
- 1:47:58Speaker 2: help them. If not, you gonna you trot well. And
- 1:48:01Speaker 2: this is aside from that. I mean, if you're this
- 1:48:05Speaker 2: is aside from the point.
- 1:48:06Speaker 6: The only thing that makes me be on the run
- 1:48:09Speaker 6: is the fact that I have knowledge of the fact
- 1:48:12Speaker 6: that the cops are looking for me. If you catch
- 1:48:14Speaker 6: me in two weeks and I say, man, I was
- 1:48:16Speaker 6: off the grid, killing in the woods, that don't add
- 1:48:19Speaker 6: no time to my case. I've been I'm unaware, unaware.
- 1:48:23Speaker 6: I'm unaware of the fact that you are looking for me.
- 1:48:26Speaker 6: When I drug out. Oh see that that I'm saying.
- 1:48:30Speaker 6: When I drug out the strip club, everything was cool.
- 1:48:33Speaker 2: I thought we was cool. She will to do this.
- 1:48:36Speaker 2: Then she went to the police and I didn't know.
- 1:48:39Speaker 2: But if you said, hey, you need to turn yourself in,
- 1:48:41Speaker 2: and I'd be like, I'll be there at three o'clock,
- 1:48:44Speaker 2: and then two weeks later I'm still not there. I'm
- 1:48:47Speaker 2: obviously on the run, and you gonna take that into
- 1:48:49Speaker 2: account when I come to court. But if I'm just
- 1:48:52Speaker 2: allergic to jail sales, then I'm just you know, as
- 1:48:55Speaker 2: much freedom as I can get is what I'm seeking.
- 1:48:58Speaker 2: Because whatever time I'm gonna have to do, that time
- 1:49:00Speaker 2: gonna get done. But I just don't want to start
- 1:49:03Speaker 2: doing time. It just doesn't seem like two weeks of
- 1:49:05Speaker 2: freedom is worth the extra six months in jail. And
- 1:49:09Speaker 2: it's supposed y'all don't win for four to sea whatever
- 1:49:12Speaker 2: whatever that gave the man. And see, and that's the
- 1:49:17Speaker 2: other part about it. It's like breaking it's like breaking
- 1:49:19Speaker 2: out of prison. When those guys broke out of prison
- 1:49:22Speaker 2: down there in New Orleans or jail, there was one
- 1:49:27Speaker 2: or two of them that you can understand it was wrong,
- 1:49:33Speaker 2: but they were lifers. So you I was already gonna
- 1:49:38Speaker 2: do like a day of freedom. This is an extra day.
- 1:49:41Speaker 2: Then there was one or two of them that was
- 1:49:43Speaker 2: like a six year you was getting out in three weeks.
- 1:49:48Speaker 2: That's done. You was getting and you ran out. That
- 1:49:58Speaker 2: doesn't make sense.
- 1:49:59Speaker 6: And y'all, HA just said this to a lot of
- 1:50:01Speaker 6: our family members are in law enforcement, and they all say,
- 1:50:04Speaker 6: don't do the crime if you can't do the time.
- 1:50:07Speaker 6: So you know, if you're gonna do the time, you're
- 1:50:09Speaker 6: gonna do your time. But again, I'm in a life
- 1:50:12Speaker 6: of crime. My being on the run for two weeks,
- 1:50:15Speaker 6: like like the contradicted, I'm.
- 1:50:17Speaker 2: Saying it ain't run. All I'm telling you, Greg is
- 1:50:21Speaker 2: sometimes that rock flies off the highway and hits your
- 1:50:23Speaker 2: windshield and you might not have to address it for
- 1:50:27Speaker 2: two years. And sometimes that rock flies off the highway
- 1:50:32Speaker 2: and hits your wind shoe. You gotta get it fixed.
- 1:50:34Speaker 2: You gotta get it fixed by the end of the week. Yeah,
- 1:50:37Speaker 2: that's just how it really works in life. So just
- 1:50:42Speaker 2: based on how the cars are dealt. We'll be back
- 1:50:44Speaker 2: more to Sports Shocks show right after that. You can't
- 1:50:48Speaker 2: sess yourself time, John.
- 1:50:57Speaker 14: Boy Wayne Born of the Sports Johns with Wayne Dambidia's
- 1:51:01Speaker 14: coming up next.
- 1:51:04Speaker 2: When I smoke weed, I get lost in the music.
- 1:51:07Speaker 16: I'd like to isolate each instrument, the rhythmic bage, the
- 1:51:11Speaker 16: harmonies on the piano with sticky melody.
- 1:51:17Speaker 11: Hey, hey, careful bad there's someone crossing the street.
- 1:51:22Speaker 2: Sorry, I didn't see them there. If you feel different,
- 1:51:25Speaker 2: you drive different. Don't drive high. It's dangerous and illegal everywhere.
- 1:51:30Speaker 2: A message from NITZA and the AD Council.
- 1:51:34Speaker 13: Nobody had to tell your grandparents not to drive all
- 1:51:37Speaker 13: using their typewriters. Why should it be any different for
- 1:51:41Speaker 13: us kids and our cell phones. Distracted driving was the
- 1:51:44Speaker 13: cause of more than three thousand deaths in twenty twenty two.
- 1:51:48Speaker 2: Come on, we're smarter than this. Let's put down the
- 1:51:51Speaker 2: phones and focus on the roads.
- 1:51:53Speaker 13: Drive safe, everybody.
- 1:51:55Speaker 17: Don't drive distracted. The message brought to you by the
- 1:51:58Speaker 17: National Highway Traffic Safety A minute stration Project yellow Light
- 1:52:01Speaker 17: and the AD Council.
- 1:52:05Speaker 2: And now back to the Sports John Wayne Gandy, It's
- 1:52:11Speaker 2: time for the school board. When we put a spin
- 1:52:14Speaker 2: on light and.
- 1:52:15Speaker 21: Sports and how they intermingled on the Sports Jack Show
- 1:52:21Speaker 21: with Wayne Gandy.
- 1:52:41Speaker 2: Welcome back to the Sports Shock show. I'm the sports
- 1:52:43Speaker 2: shock Wayne Gandy. The Denver Broncos fired three coaches. It's
- 1:52:47Speaker 2: funny how you can just get fired. That's why I
- 1:52:50Speaker 2: said this coach thing is wild. Fired offensive coordinator Joe Lombardi.
- 1:52:54Speaker 2: I don't know what Joe could have done in the
- 1:52:56Speaker 2: snow Bowl. Uh. And I'm just calling some man with
- 1:53:01Speaker 2: the backup. I don't know what's going to happen out year.
- 1:53:05Speaker 2: I look in the Fired on Your Day Off page
- 1:53:08Speaker 2: number eighteen. The book said running the thirty three sweet
- 1:53:12Speaker 2: cross right, and I called that down to the field
- 1:53:15Speaker 2: and they ran that and it didn't work. Everybody slipped.
- 1:53:19Speaker 2: It worked way better in dry weather, it did. It
- 1:53:22Speaker 2: worked way But you would imagine a coach I didn't.
- 1:53:25Speaker 3: I didn't.
- 1:53:26Speaker 2: I don't know that I saw anything with the Broncos
- 1:53:28Speaker 2: that I would have changed. I really came out of nowhere.
- 1:53:31Speaker 2: Offense seemed to be grooving underneath Joe Lombardi. Joe was
- 1:53:35Speaker 2: in New Orleans with me, where he was just an
- 1:53:37Speaker 2: assistant staff guy. But three coaches fired, and that's I
- 1:53:41Speaker 2: want to ask from a team that was kind of surprised.
- 1:53:43Speaker 2: It's like Mike Rabel firing some coaches for not winning
- 1:53:46Speaker 2: the Super Bowl. Man, we just got we just started
- 1:53:49Speaker 2: getting good, Like, you know, why would you go change something?
- 1:53:53Speaker 2: So I wonder it got that change right on that bike,
- 1:53:55Speaker 2: got it all just correct. Unless the only thing I
- 1:53:57Speaker 2: could see was that Joe and Sean been together so long.
- 1:54:01Speaker 2: Maybe they were having some infighting all season long on
- 1:54:05Speaker 2: what because a lot of times offensive coaches have a
- 1:54:11Speaker 2: problem with the OC because they want to overrule the
- 1:54:16Speaker 2: OC because that's the side of the ball that day.
- 1:54:20Speaker 2: That's like Andy Reid, right, you see it all the time.
- 1:54:24Speaker 2: It's hard for the head coach, just like with Mike
- 1:54:28Speaker 2: McCarthy for the Steelers. He just went on the record
- 1:54:31Speaker 2: the other day like, I'm gonna be the call in
- 1:54:33Speaker 2: the play. So whoever I call in and do this,
- 1:54:37Speaker 2: they're just coming in here to help me call my plays.
- 1:54:41Speaker 2: But the strife becomes when that assistant who's the OC
- 1:54:46Speaker 2: is not being able to operate as the OC. And
- 1:54:49Speaker 2: that's kind of why Eric the Enemy wanted out because
- 1:54:53Speaker 2: he was never getting the success as the OC on television.
- 1:55:00Speaker 2: It looks like I'm calling the play. Andy called me,
- 1:55:05Speaker 2: and then I told Pat to play. That's not me.
- 1:55:08Speaker 2: He trusts me, you know, and it's really how it is.
- 1:55:12Speaker 2: Some coaches are like coach Prime. Coach Prime doesn't. I
- 1:55:16Speaker 2: always tell you it's not a knock on DM. He's
- 1:55:18Speaker 2: just being real. He just got on the headphones for
- 1:55:21Speaker 2: when he wants certain stuff. But he's not calling plays.
- 1:55:24Speaker 2: He's just being the head coach. But some coaches they fight.
- 1:55:31Speaker 2: You be two games into the season, I'm gonna call
- 1:55:34Speaker 2: the plays, and you be surprised they be if it's
- 1:55:40Speaker 2: a defensive head coach and the defense. We done lost
- 1:55:44Speaker 2: two games and I'm taking over the I'm taking over.
- 1:55:49Speaker 6: Do you think that some of this is just the
- 1:55:50Speaker 6: byproduct of it seems like that copycat syndrome, that fear
- 1:55:55Speaker 6: of missing out where it's almost popular this season to
- 1:56:00Speaker 6: fire coaches, like we've seen some really perennial names get released,
- 1:56:07Speaker 6: and so you know, here we are in Denver. We
- 1:56:09Speaker 6: didn't get to the super Bowl, so to make people
- 1:56:11Speaker 6: believe we even try and we gotta fire somebody.
- 1:56:14Speaker 2: Yeah. I don't know if Sean just in his feelings.
- 1:56:16Speaker 2: One thing Sean Payton has always shown you he's an
- 1:56:19Speaker 2: emotional coach. Sometimes he seems like he's lashing out in
- 1:56:23Speaker 2: this firing for a team that went, and you still
- 1:56:27Speaker 2: believe if bow Knicks was there, would have won that
- 1:56:30Speaker 2: had a better You know, well, I don't bow Knicks
- 1:56:33Speaker 2: there and no snow. Yeah, would have beat the Patriots.
- 1:56:38Speaker 2: But bow Knick's not there and the snow it's a crapshoot. Come.
- 1:56:43Speaker 2: That's why you surprised we were that close. Yeah, you
- 1:56:45Speaker 2: surprised there was even that close. Uh. The NBA trade
- 1:56:48Speaker 2: deadline coming up next Thursday. Just dakoupo a lot of
- 1:56:52Speaker 2: words about him moving out of Milwaukee. The bills must
- 1:56:57Speaker 2: be due up there in Milwaukee and they don't have
- 1:57:01Speaker 2: that money. It's the same thing I said about the
- 1:57:02Speaker 2: Dallas Mavericks with Luca. You gotta look beyond your emotions.
- 1:57:08Speaker 2: You gotta look beyond the You gotta look to start
- 1:57:11Speaker 2: looking at the financials you think, because what you heard
- 1:57:16Speaker 2: on ESPN that everybody those owners aren't always where you
- 1:57:22Speaker 2: think they are. They got lives too, some of them.
- 1:57:27Speaker 2: This year I was able to supplement this job with
- 1:57:32Speaker 2: my bonds from this other company. This year didn't run
- 1:57:37Speaker 2: the way I thought. So I'm not gonna give a
- 1:57:43Speaker 2: Jannah's two seventy five guaranteed. I don't have the two
- 1:57:46Speaker 2: seventy five people. Forget years ago in the NBA they
- 1:57:48Speaker 2: had to institute that rule. If they didn't make a
- 1:57:50Speaker 2: certain amount of money, they had a certain percentage back
- 1:57:53Speaker 2: from the players. So look beyond. I'm just educating. Look
- 1:57:59Speaker 2: beyond what you think. Sometimes that's all you can afford. Yeah, Yo,
- 1:58:06Speaker 2: why do you got that coach? Coach? That's all we had.
- 1:58:10Speaker 2: We had one three left. We're paying four other coaches.
- 1:58:14Speaker 8: I know.
- 1:58:14Speaker 2: That's one of the problems that Auburn. Every coach you
- 1:58:17Speaker 2: fire in college is all getting paid from the same
- 1:58:20Speaker 2: fund all their contracts. The baseball coach, the gymnastic coach. Thought,
- 1:58:24Speaker 2: anybody you fire is under this same umbrella. Judge of Tech,
- 1:58:29Speaker 2: I got to deal with this coach for a minute,
- 1:58:31Speaker 2: because that's all I can afford. Georgia Tech as a team,
- 1:58:36Speaker 2: as a school, as a foot as a sports university
- 1:58:39Speaker 2: was They're still under the underwater a long time. What's
- 1:58:44Speaker 2: his name story with the what's the guy? Runners is
- 1:58:47Speaker 2: losing has been losing money ever since they joined the
- 1:58:49Speaker 2: Big Ten. Yeah, so it's not always that, but with
- 1:58:52Speaker 2: Yanna's maybe you know, Miami, Minnesota, Golden State even an
- 1:58:58Speaker 2: interesting trade with the Knicks maybe the bring Carl Anthony Townsend,
- 1:59:02Speaker 2: Uh and Sidiannis to New York interesting to see what
- 1:59:07Speaker 2: do you think he looked like in his next contract
- 1:59:10Speaker 2: would be close to three hundred million guaranteed. What do
- 1:59:14Speaker 2: you what do you think he looked like in Minnesota?
- 1:59:20Speaker 2: I don't a man. I mean it's a great idea.
- 1:59:24Speaker 2: It's great idea in theory. It's great theory. May be
- 1:59:28Speaker 2: better defensively, but who would they have to give up?
- 1:59:31Speaker 2: Like if they got a trade like nas Red, then
- 1:59:33Speaker 2: they probably will have no bench right. So it's just
- 1:59:37Speaker 2: he will be a sacrifice in some way. Yeah, I
- 1:59:40Speaker 2: can definitely see him in New York because Bronson is
- 1:59:44Speaker 2: the kind of player that seems like he is okay
- 1:59:47Speaker 2: sharing the spot like and that was my that was
- 1:59:50Speaker 2: my concern with Minnesota is can you come in and
- 1:59:54Speaker 2: it's a man's team. Has Ant reached that level of
- 1:59:59Speaker 2: maturity where he he is cool with just just ready
- 2:00:02Speaker 2: to win? Yeah, because you have to get to that.
- 2:00:05Speaker 2: I just want to win stage. Have I built up
- 2:00:09Speaker 2: my fame enough or you end up like Kobe. Kobe
- 2:00:12Speaker 2: didn't have enough success yet as him, he needed he
- 2:00:15Speaker 2: wanted self recognition, so he needed to get rid of
- 2:00:17Speaker 2: shack and now that so has ant Man matured to
- 2:00:21Speaker 2: where that and we we don't know. He seems to
- 2:00:25Speaker 2: be okay with Julius Randall and.
- 2:00:27Speaker 6: Those guys, right, And unless you've ever been in a
- 2:00:29Speaker 6: situation where you're performing as a group and at the
- 2:00:34Speaker 6: end of everything or during introductions, people yell for the group,
- 2:00:38Speaker 6: but they yell loudest for you, you are okay with
- 2:00:42Speaker 6: that until that volume changes and then wait a minute,
- 2:00:47Speaker 6: they screaming almost as loud or louder for this dude.
- 2:00:50Speaker 2: It makes for a lot of confusion. And that was
- 2:00:53Speaker 2: my thing. Mature enough to like trying to put Luca
- 2:00:57Speaker 2: on the court with Lebron that work at this point
- 2:01:01Speaker 2: in Lebron's career where he obviously is showing you I'll
- 2:01:05Speaker 2: be Robin. I don't even have the energy to be Batman.
- 2:01:08Speaker 2: But sometimes that dynamic. Six years ago it would have
- 2:01:14Speaker 2: been you wouldn't see him get the ball and instantly
- 2:01:17Speaker 2: give it to Luca. But now you see, like, man,
- 2:01:20Speaker 2: you do all that work getting the ball down court,
- 2:01:22Speaker 2: He's gonna go down here and see what I can
- 2:01:23Speaker 2: get and to help you out. So is that the
- 2:01:27Speaker 2: dynamic when he went to play with d Wade. Somebody
- 2:01:29Speaker 2: had to learn to be to let their star tomnage
- 2:01:34Speaker 2: just a little bit, and that was hard for d Wade.
- 2:01:37Speaker 2: You could tell that first year. But they knew to
- 2:01:40Speaker 2: even get those championships they did. One of us is
- 2:01:44Speaker 2: gonna have to play off the other. It's ant Man
- 2:01:49Speaker 2: okay with that, and it's Jannas. Jiannis looked like he
- 2:01:52Speaker 2: would be a guy that would go ahead on and
- 2:01:55Speaker 2: do it, especially at this point. He's yeah, thirty two, Yeah,
- 2:01:59Speaker 2: I'm coming to your city. I'm coming to play with you.
- 2:02:01Speaker 2: I'm not extending. I'm going I'm coming to extend my career. Yeah.
- 2:02:06Speaker 2: But man and Yanna's biggest thing to me as we
- 2:02:08Speaker 2: go to the end of the show just seems to
- 2:02:10Speaker 2: be Yannis seems to play with a certain style of discipline.
- 2:02:16Speaker 2: No twin were up right here though. We know what
- 2:02:23Speaker 2: you what you do. This is what that called the
- 2:02:25Speaker 2: dis what now, No twere tripping and we are in
- 2:02:31Speaker 2: the ocean. The truth is he will throw your in
- 2:02:36Speaker 2: the ocean.
- 2:02:37Speaker 21: It's time to wrap things up on the Sports Junk
- 2:02:41Speaker 21: Show with Wayne Candy.
- 2:03:10Speaker 2: When you decide that ocean get sports Shock just a
- 2:03:12Speaker 2: minute to vent we'd like to thank the crew, Big
- 2:03:14Speaker 2: Kenny Command you, Greg Baproducer for your contributions today. We'd
- 2:03:17Speaker 2: like to thank you for any time, any minute, any segment,
- 2:03:21Speaker 2: any hour, any comment that you made here on the
- 2:03:23Speaker 2: Sports Shock Show. We appreciate you letting us entertain you.
- 2:03:28Speaker 2: You know who's going in the ocean, anyone, everyone involved
- 2:03:32Speaker 2: with any in every hall of fame. To me, this
- 2:03:35Speaker 2: covers all sports. Really only seems like the NHL National
- 2:03:40Speaker 2: Hockey League has it right. They don't care nothing about
- 2:03:43Speaker 2: all that. Four year, two year, three year. They'll take
- 2:03:46Speaker 2: Mario Lemieux as he's skating out last game and put
- 2:03:51Speaker 2: his jersey up. They don't care nothing about that. Come on, Mario,
- 2:03:55Speaker 2: let's have a celebration. It is a travesty and that
- 2:03:59Speaker 2: word define truly. And what they did with Bill Belichick
- 2:04:04Speaker 2: six super Bowls as a head coach, two as an assistant,
- 2:04:07Speaker 2: seventeen time Divisional champion, three time coach up the year,
- 2:04:17Speaker 2: had a sixteen and oh perfect season. Do y'all forget
- 2:04:20Speaker 2: they went sixteen and oh one year going in there.
- 2:04:26Speaker 2: They're the closest ever sixteen and oh regular season, y'all forget?
- 2:04:34Speaker 2: Why was there a vote. I have no clue why
- 2:04:38Speaker 2: there was a vote to see if Bill Belichick was
- 2:04:40Speaker 2: going to what we called the Hall of Fame.
- 2:04:44Speaker 3: If I was.
- 2:04:45Speaker 2: Bill's brothers dad's truly close friend, I would tell him
- 2:04:49Speaker 2: never take their jacket. This is worse than the too situation.
- 2:04:55Speaker 2: I would never let them benefit from them ever showing
- 2:04:59Speaker 2: me in their hall, and nobody would still wouldn't forget
- 2:05:07Speaker 2: what you did. Think about that. You don't need them
- 2:05:09Speaker 2: for us to remember who was the baddest man on
- 2:05:12Speaker 2: the side line. That gold jacket don't help you none.
- 2:05:16Speaker 2: It's actually insignificant. You could just keep wearing the hoodie.
- 2:05:21Speaker 2: That's what I expect you to show up in anyway.
- 2:05:24Speaker 2: The hoodie I don't need. Come on, it's like trying
- 2:05:30Speaker 2: to say Jerry Rice wasn't unanimous. How is this going on?
- 2:05:35Speaker 2: But for that voting committee, Hall of Fame whatever, y'all
- 2:05:39Speaker 2: calling yourself? Walk up, clank. And this from a man
- 2:05:53Speaker 2: who I'm giving him in love, and he snaps my
- 2:05:55Speaker 2: chance of going to the Super Bowl back in twenty
- 2:05:59Speaker 2: twenty one when we lost to the Patriots in the
- 2:06:01Speaker 2: AFC Championship. And I'm still willing to tell you that
- 2:06:06Speaker 2: this man shouldn't even been on a vote. They should
- 2:06:11Speaker 2: have just gold bronzed his hoodie the day he said
- 2:06:16Speaker 2: he was done from the Sports Shock Show. As we
- 2:06:19Speaker 2: always say on Thursday, we'll see you in the future. Peace,
