- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:03Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. In this episode, we're going to pick up
- 0:06Speaker 1: where we left off well with Bill Clinton and his
- 0:09Speaker 1: transcript with Congress Jack Emmer asking the questions once again,
- 0:16Speaker 1: mister President. Before we left off, I asked you to
- 0:19Speaker 1: characterize your relationship with mister Epstein. I asked you if
- 0:22Speaker 1: you considered him to be a friend. You said you
- 0:24Speaker 1: did not. Is that right answer? I said, we were
- 0:27Speaker 1: friendly and we had cordial relations, but I didn't know
- 0:30Speaker 1: him well enough because we had almost no contact beyond
- 0:33Speaker 1: what I described, Emmer. At this time, I'd like to
- 0:37Speaker 1: introduce what will be marked as majority Exhibit thirteen, and
- 0:41Speaker 1: this is Bates Mark's House oversight zero zero zero one
- 0:45Speaker 1: two six. And while it's being passed out, this is
- 0:48Speaker 1: a letter from a book of letters which was compiled.
- 0:52Speaker 1: Clinton jumps in, Yeah, it's his fiftieth birthday, Jack Emmer,
- 0:56Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein's fiftieth birthday. Somebody else pipes in. Wait for
- 1:01Speaker 1: the questions, Jack Emmer, mister President, do you recognize this letter? Answer?
- 1:07Speaker 1: I do. Question and for the record, does this appear
- 1:10Speaker 1: to be your handwriting and signature? Answer? It is question
- 1:13Speaker 1: and why did you write the letter? Answer? Why did
- 1:17Speaker 1: I because I was requested to contribute a nice letter
- 1:20Speaker 1: for his birthday book. Question and who asked you to
- 1:22Speaker 1: write the letter? Answer? I have no idea. I don't remember.
- 1:27Speaker 1: Question would Miss Maxwell have asked you? Answer? I don't know.
- 1:30Speaker 1: I think someone on my staff asked me. Question. Now,
- 1:35Speaker 1: there is a word that our committee has not been
- 1:37Speaker 1: able to identify, and our defense, the Wall Street Journal,
- 1:41Speaker 1: has not been able to identify. Can you please read
- 1:45Speaker 1: the letter for the record? Bill Clinton? Yeah, it's reassuring,
- 1:49Speaker 1: isn't it to have lasted so long, across all the
- 1:52Speaker 1: years of learning and knowing, adventures and errors, and still
- 1:56Speaker 1: to have your childlike curiosity, the drive that make a difference,
- 2:00Speaker 1: and the solace of friends. Not a bad letter, Emmer.
- 2:04Speaker 1: And because we haven't been able to identify that word
- 2:07Speaker 1: until now? Which word is that that you couldn't identify?
- 2:11Speaker 1: One of Clinton lawyers asked Bill Clinton, solace Emmer, No,
- 2:16Speaker 1: no errors, but for the record, you weren't referring to
- 2:20Speaker 1: errors in judgment that mister Epstein had related to his
- 2:23Speaker 1: inappropriate activities involving young girls. Bill Clinton, absolutely not. I
- 2:28Speaker 1: knew nothing about that. Question did you ever see the
- 2:31Speaker 1: birthday book compile together? Answer? I don't think so. Question,
- 2:35Speaker 1: and you mentioned previously you were friendly with mister Epstein.
- 2:39Speaker 1: Did you typically send birthday wishes to individuals that you
- 2:43Speaker 1: didn't consider to be friends? Answer? No, I send out
- 2:46Speaker 1: literally hundreds and hundreds of birthday letters every year to
- 2:49Speaker 1: people that have been my friends. But if somebody is
- 2:52Speaker 1: doing a special I've sent birthday letters of congratulation to
- 2:56Speaker 1: people I've met two or three times for their seventieth
- 2:59Speaker 1: birthday and their eightieth birthday, their fiftieth wedding anniversary, I
- 3:04Speaker 1: do it, and I found I've told you I thought
- 3:06Speaker 1: Epstein was interesting and curious, so I wrote a letter
- 3:10Speaker 1: that I thought reflected that question. Can you elaborate on
- 3:13Speaker 1: what made him interesting and curious? Answer? No, more than
- 3:18Speaker 1: I've already said. Question. At this time, I'd like to
- 3:21Speaker 1: introduce what will be marked as majority Exhibit fourteen. And
- 3:25Speaker 1: while it's being handed out, this is an article published
- 3:28Speaker 1: by The New York Times on August fifth, twenty twenty five,
- 3:31Speaker 1: entitled A Look Inside Epstein's Manhattan Layer. And once you
- 3:36Speaker 1: receive the article, I will direct your attention to page
- 3:38Speaker 1: ten Bill Clinton, where is that his lawyer. No, they
- 3:43Speaker 1: haven't brought it yet. It's coming around Jack Emmer. And
- 3:47Speaker 1: we're specifically looking at the frame photo on a wooden table,
- 3:50Speaker 1: alongside multiple other frame photos, and we're focusing on the
- 3:54Speaker 1: photo in the middle, which appears to have a golden frame.
- 3:58Speaker 1: Bill Clinton, where is that? Lawyer? Points it out? Bill Clinton? Yeah, okay,
- 4:02Speaker 1: I see it. Question mister President, do you recognize yourself
- 4:07Speaker 1: in the photo? Answer? I do. Question, And it appears
- 4:11Speaker 1: that the man on the right of the photo is
- 4:13Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein. Is that correct? Answer? I think so. Question
- 4:17Speaker 1: have you seen this photograph before today? Answer? Only in
- 4:20Speaker 1: this picture? Question and for the record, what's happening in
- 4:24Speaker 1: this photo? Answer? He's smiling at me. He looks like
- 4:27Speaker 1: he's talking to me. Question this is one of the
- 4:30Speaker 1: friendly interactions that you were describing earlier. Answer yes. Question,
- 4:35Speaker 1: and can you describe the circumstances surrounding the photo? His
- 4:40Speaker 1: lawyer jumps in? Are you asking if he recalls Bill Clinton?
- 4:43Speaker 1: Cuts his lawyer off. I do not. I have no idea.
- 4:46Speaker 1: I see Richard Branson in the back and other people. Question. Okay,
- 4:50Speaker 1: that's fine, answer, but I don't remember anything about it. Question,
- 4:54Speaker 1: and you appear to be comfortable with mister Epstein in
- 4:57Speaker 1: this photo. Would you disagree with that characterization? His lawyer
- 5:02Speaker 1: jumps in again, so are you creating a characterization? He's
- 5:05Speaker 1: already responded to your question about the picture, Bill Clinton,
- 5:09Speaker 1: I'm comfortable. I'm comfortable here. I'm not happy, but I'm
- 5:12Speaker 1: comfortable and my conscience is clear. If that helps question,
- 5:16Speaker 1: mister President. We have about five minutes remaining in the
- 5:19Speaker 1: majority's first hour, so I just want to ask you
- 5:21Speaker 1: some questions related to the crimes committed by mister Epstein
- 5:25Speaker 1: and miss Maxwell. Did you ever witness mister Epstein sexually
- 5:28Speaker 1: abuse or assault young women or girls? Answer no question.
- 5:33Speaker 1: Did you ever witness mister Epstein receive massages from young
- 5:36Speaker 1: women or girls? Answer not that I recall question. Did
- 5:40Speaker 1: mister Epstein ever discuss sexual acts of any kind with you?
- 5:44Speaker 1: Answer no question. Did you ever have any sexual contact
- 5:47Speaker 1: with young women or girls in the presence of Epstein
- 5:51Speaker 1: or Maxwell? Answer no question. Did you ever have sexual
- 5:55Speaker 1: contact with any young woman or a girl introduced to
- 5:58Speaker 1: you by Epstein or Maxwell? Answer no question. Mister President,
- 6:03Speaker 1: with the benefit of hindsight, were there things you witnessed
- 6:06Speaker 1: that could have suggested that Epstein was trafficking and sexually
- 6:10Speaker 1: abusing young women and girls. Answer, I don't believe so,
- 6:14Speaker 1: Jack Emmer. We'll go off the record, and now they're
- 6:17Speaker 1: back on the record, and now we have redacted doing
- 6:20Speaker 1: the questioning for the minority. My name is redacted, and
- 6:24Speaker 1: I'll be doing most of the questioning for the minority today. First,
- 6:27Speaker 1: I want to thank you for your long and distinguished
- 6:29Speaker 1: service to this country. I also want to thank you
- 6:33Speaker 1: for your time today. We appreciate it. Before we get
- 6:36Speaker 1: to questions, I'd like to take a few minutes and
- 6:38Speaker 1: highlight some context that we think is relevant for today's conversation.
- 6:44Speaker 1: President Trump had a long standing personal relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.
- 6:48Speaker 1: That's not a secret. It's well documented, and I think
- 6:51Speaker 1: the public and everyone in Congress understands that. At this point,
- 6:55Speaker 1: President Trump does not like talking about his long standing
- 6:57Speaker 1: personal relationship with Jeffrey Epps. I think we've all seen
- 7:01Speaker 1: that as well. On November twelfth of last year, Oversight
- 7:05Speaker 1: Committee Democrats released emails that were obtained from the estate
- 7:09Speaker 1: of Jeffrey Epstein. In one email from twenty eleven, Epstein
- 7:13Speaker 1: said to Glen Maxwell that President Trump was quote that
- 7:17Speaker 1: dog that has embarked and that an unnamed victim quote
- 7:21Speaker 1: spent hours at my house with them. In another email
- 7:24Speaker 1: from twenty nineteen, Epstein wrote that quote, of course he's
- 7:28Speaker 1: referring to President Trump, and that he knew about the girls.
- 7:31Speaker 1: As he asked Elaine to stop, I'd like to enter
- 7:35Speaker 1: as minority exhibit. A Oversight Democrats press release from November twelfth,
- 7:40Speaker 1: twenty twenty five, titled Oversight Committee releases Jeffrey Epstein email
- 7:45Speaker 1: correspondence raising questions about White House cover up of Epstein files,
- 7:49Speaker 1: and that includes both the emails that I had mentioned.
- 7:53Speaker 1: There was a fair amount of public attention on those emails,
- 7:56Speaker 1: and two days later, President Trump asked the Department of
- 7:59Speaker 1: Justice to an investigate Epstein's relationship with yourself, Larry Summers,
- 8:03Speaker 1: Reed Hoffman, and JP Morgan Chase. You are, of course,
- 8:07Speaker 1: a former Democratic president of the United States. Notably, President
- 8:11Speaker 1: Trump did not include any Republicans in his demands. Later
- 8:15Speaker 1: that day, Attorney General Pam Bondi posted on social media
- 8:19Speaker 1: that the US Attorney for Southern District of New York
- 8:21Speaker 1: would comply with President Trump's directive and take the lead
- 8:25Speaker 1: on the investigation. I would like to enter as minority
- 8:29Speaker 1: exhibit B Attorney General Bondi's post on X, which also
- 8:33Speaker 1: includes President Trump's post on truth Social It's well understood
- 8:37Speaker 1: that you had a personal relationship with mister Epstein, and
- 8:40Speaker 1: we'll talk about that later today, but the events I
- 8:43Speaker 1: just described color our perspective on the conversation. It appears
- 8:47Speaker 1: as if you and other democratic figures have been targeted
- 8:50Speaker 1: by President Trump in an attempt to distract the American
- 8:53Speaker 1: people from his own long standing relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.
- 8:58Speaker 1: And if that were true, it would not be the
- 9:00Speaker 1: first time President Trump has targeted his political enemies under
- 9:04Speaker 1: the guise of law enforcement. This deposition is occurring in
- 9:08Speaker 1: the context of unprecedented weaponization of the Department of Justice
- 9:12Speaker 1: by Donald Trump. You may have a perspective on this
- 9:15Speaker 1: of your own, so before we get started, I just
- 9:17Speaker 1: want to give you the opportunity to share any thoughts
- 9:20Speaker 1: you might have on that subject, as if we need that.
- 9:23Speaker 1: The whole preamble save that shit. Nobody cares about your
- 9:26Speaker 1: what about ism? Goll Lee, Bill Clinton. I think I'll
- 9:30Speaker 1: let you ask me some questions and maybe at the
- 9:32Speaker 1: end I'll say something question that sounds fine, Thank you.
- 9:37Speaker 1: I'd like to start our conversation with a few foundational
- 9:39Speaker 1: questions so we can just set the record straight from
- 9:42Speaker 1: the very beginning. With respect to your relationship with mister Epstein,
- 9:46Speaker 1: did you ever, at any point during your interaction with
- 9:49Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein know about the sexual abuse that he was
- 9:52Speaker 1: committing against miners and young women? Answer no question. With
- 9:58Speaker 1: respect to your relationship with Glenne Maxwell, did you ever,
- 10:02Speaker 1: at any point during your interaction with Glane Maxwell know
- 10:05Speaker 1: about the sexual abuse that she committed and facilitated against
- 10:09Speaker 1: miners and young women. Answer no question. Have you ever,
- 10:13Speaker 1: at any point visited Jeffrey Epstein's former estate on Little
- 10:17Speaker 1: Saint James Island in the US Virgin Islands? Bill Clinton,
- 10:20Speaker 1: no question. In February of last year, Attorney General Pambondi
- 10:25Speaker 1: said on Fox News that you traveled on mister Epstein's
- 10:28Speaker 1: plane quote because it supposedly had a bed in there
- 10:31Speaker 1: where Jeffrey Epstein had young girls. I'll ask you, did
- 10:34Speaker 1: you fly on mister Epstein's plane because it had a
- 10:37Speaker 1: bed where Jeffrey Epstein had young girls? Bill Clinton? No question.
- 10:42Speaker 1: Are there any other accusations that have been made against
- 10:45Speaker 1: you with respect to mister Epstein that you'd like to
- 10:47Speaker 1: address before we get started with some chronological questions. Well,
- 10:51Speaker 1: that's weird. Nobody else was asked that question. Nobody else
- 10:54Speaker 1: was given that chance to do that. But I guess
- 10:57Speaker 1: Bill Clinton's special right, He's one of He's on our team. Clinton. Well,
- 11:04Speaker 1: I think you pretty much well covered it. Thank you, question,
- 11:07Speaker 1: Thank you. I'll ask you a series of chronological questions.
- 11:11Speaker 1: I'd like to try to create one clear chronological record.
- 11:14Speaker 1: Some of that might be repetitive from what you've already
- 11:17Speaker 1: talked about. I'll try to keep that to a minimum.
- 11:20Speaker 1: All these questions are from a long time ago. If
- 11:22Speaker 1: you don't recall anything about what I'm asking, just let
- 11:25Speaker 1: me know. Starting with the events before enduring your presidency,
- 11:29Speaker 1: the earliest known link that we're aware of between yourself
- 11:32Speaker 1: and mister Epstein is that he made a pair of
- 11:35Speaker 1: campaign contributions to you in ninety two. There was one
- 11:38Speaker 1: thousand contribution to your presidential Election Committee in January of
- 11:42Speaker 1: ninety two, and another one thousand in June to the
- 11:46Speaker 1: Clinton Gore General Election Compliance Fund. I imagine a lot
- 11:50Speaker 1: of folks donate one thousand dollars to your campaign. Do
- 11:53Speaker 1: you have any specific recollection or knowledge of those particular contributions,
- 11:58Speaker 1: Bill Clinton, No, I think this is the first time
- 12:01Speaker 1: that I've ever known that. All right, folks, we're gonna
- 12:03Speaker 1: wrap up right here, and in the next episode dealing
- 12:05Speaker 1: with the topic, we're gonna pick up where we left off.
- 12:09Speaker 1: All the information that goes with this episode can be
- 12:11Speaker 1: found in the description box.
