- 0:04Speaker 1: Welcome back to Artists on Artists on Artists on Artists.
- 0:07Speaker 1: Bing bang boom, We've got an episode for you.
- 0:11Speaker 2: One of the key elements of art and the creation
- 0:16Speaker 2: of all the things you love is inspiration. And the
- 0:20Speaker 2: people that do the inspiring they've been tracked all the
- 0:23Speaker 2: way back to ancient Greece. They're actually inspired by a
- 0:27Speaker 2: myth and their name is a muse. That's right. Today
- 0:31Speaker 2: we're talking to artists. Muses like a.
- 0:36Speaker 3: Clay sculpture made of clay of a beautiful lady that
- 0:42Speaker 3: was probably modeled off of someone who inspired the sculptor.
- 0:47Speaker 3: And that's what amuses.
- 0:51Speaker 4: Exactly what she said, Sit down, relax and enjoy being inspired.
- 0:56Speaker 5: Let's listen in.
- 1:01Speaker 1: Hey everybody, Hey, how's it going? Oh? Hi, everybody? Nice?
- 1:07Speaker 5: This is cool.
- 1:09Speaker 3: Nice, It's wonderful.
- 1:10Speaker 2: It's really wonderful to be I really loved this energy today.
- 1:15Speaker 3: I really left seeing everybody today sunglasses?
- 1:19Speaker 5: Could you speak up? By a bad hearing?
- 1:20Speaker 1: Oh?
- 1:21Speaker 2: I'm sorry? Is it a little too quiet? My voice
- 1:24Speaker 2: doesn't go much louder than this, even when I'm angry,
- 1:27Speaker 2: even when I'm screaming, this kind of how are you?
- 1:31Speaker 2: Oh well, looks like my charms already worked on you.
- 1:36Speaker 2: I'll go last.
- 1:38Speaker 3: Oh understood, Well, I'll introduce myself. My name is Skeleton
- 1:47Speaker 3: brimble Bones, and I am Tim Burton's muse.
- 2:02Speaker 5: I'm crying.
- 2:08Speaker 3: Yeah, it's true. My name is Skeleton brimble Bones. And
- 2:12Speaker 3: I was discovered in Bavaria by one young Tim Burton
- 2:18Speaker 3: in his early teens. He discovered me burrowed into a
- 2:22Speaker 3: tree as I was camping, and as I was bones,
- 2:27Speaker 3: and he took me back to his home and said,
- 2:31Speaker 3: I think there's something about you, and that is what
- 2:35Speaker 3: inspired the greatest movie maker of our generation.
- 2:40Speaker 2: Quick question, Skeleton, Brible Bones, Quick question for you? Are
- 2:45Speaker 2: you of this earth? Are you a being of human being?
- 2:49Speaker 1: Well?
- 2:49Speaker 3: I used to be of this earth. You see. I
- 2:51Speaker 3: used to be a young woman named Elise Thornberry. I
- 2:56Speaker 3: was a villager in Bavaria, and I was a bread worker.
- 3:03Speaker 3: I worked with bread. And then when I died of
- 3:06Speaker 3: a horrible scarlet fever, my bones were perfectly preserved in
- 3:11Speaker 3: a tree. And then when Tim Burton happened upon them,
- 3:15Speaker 3: lightning struck at the very next time, animating me into
- 3:19Speaker 3: a wonderful pile of bones and thorns.
- 3:24Speaker 5: Your eyes are the biggest things I've ever seen in there.
- 3:27Speaker 1: They're just holes, They're just dark holes.
- 3:29Speaker 2: Yes. Can I call them eyes?
- 3:31Speaker 5: Baby?
- 3:32Speaker 2: Can I call them eyes darling?
- 3:34Speaker 3: Yes? For well, this is a question I've off debated
- 3:37Speaker 3: in a philosophical sense. Are the absence of eyes in
- 3:41Speaker 3: them themselves? Eyes? If I see you say no.
- 3:46Speaker 2: You see? Well, yeah, that's that's I guess that's one
- 3:49Speaker 2: of the incredible questions. And I see why you're inspiring
- 3:51Speaker 2: so much heart. Does you bring a lot of mystery
- 3:54Speaker 2: to it?
- 3:55Speaker 5: Your first name is skeletons.
- 3:57Speaker 3: If my first name is skeleton, did you change skeleton
- 4:01Speaker 3: my name? I am named after what I am, which
- 4:04Speaker 3: is a skeleton.
- 4:05Speaker 1: Did you choose that name or did somebody else choose
- 4:08Speaker 1: that name?
- 4:09Speaker 3: Tim chose it?
- 4:10Speaker 1: Tim, I thought chose it.
- 4:12Speaker 3: He's I said, well, my name was Elise in a
- 4:15Speaker 3: former life, and he said you look more like a
- 4:17Speaker 3: skeleton to me. I'll call you Skeleton.
- 4:21Speaker 2: Well, it's nice to meet you, and I'm grateful for
- 4:23Speaker 2: everything you've brought forth. That's amazing.
- 4:27Speaker 3: Well, lovely to be here.
- 4:28Speaker 1: Since you're going last, I guess i'll go, Hey, everybody,
- 4:32Speaker 1: my name is Derek Schuman and I am Rihanna's muse.
- 4:38Speaker 3: So, Rihanna's music is inspired by a man.
- 4:41Speaker 1: Named Derek Derek Schuman.
- 4:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:44Speaker 1: So uh, basically every single thing that Rihanna has touched
- 4:47Speaker 1: I have somehow inspired.
- 4:51Speaker 5: Oh so you like it? You like it dirty? Don't
- 4:53Speaker 5: you you like No.
- 4:55Speaker 1: That's not me. I am just she She likes to
- 4:58Speaker 1: use her imagination around. Sometimes I'll say something out of
- 5:01Speaker 1: context and Rihanna just runs with it.
- 5:04Speaker 2: You know.
- 5:05Speaker 1: One time I was a little feisty to a waiter
- 5:08Speaker 1: and she said, come on, rude boy, and then we
- 5:10Speaker 1: were off to the races with me. Yeah.
- 5:13Speaker 5: You don't like whips and chains?
- 5:15Speaker 3: Oh?
- 5:15Speaker 5: I hate them.
- 5:15Speaker 1: I'm very scared of them. That's kind of why she
- 5:17Speaker 1: wrote that song to kind of scare me into a
- 5:20Speaker 1: corner a little bit.
- 5:21Speaker 2: And so, what's your relationship? Are you guys? Friends? You guys? Lovers?
- 5:24Speaker 1: Yeah, we're friends, we're lovers, We're kind of all of it. Yeah.
- 5:28Speaker 1: So I was Rihanna's lover for two days and she
- 5:32Speaker 1: has never let me go. I've been circulating her life
- 5:36Speaker 1: for years and years and years and years. And how
- 5:39Speaker 1: did you meet on a cruise? I was on a
- 5:43Speaker 1: cruise Rihanna before she got started kind of kind of
- 5:48Speaker 1: and surprisingly she was also on a cruise. I was
- 5:50Speaker 1: working the cruise. It was one of those days where
- 5:53Speaker 1: you know it's just everything is right. I'm shooting way
- 5:56Speaker 1: above my league and and something happens. I don't know.
- 6:01Speaker 1: I saw this girl from across the cruiseway and she
- 6:04Speaker 1: is staring me down. She is giving me daggers in
- 6:08Speaker 1: my eyes, and I'm like, who, Derek, what is happening here?
- 6:13Speaker 1: I had no idea what was happening. Turns out it
- 6:15Speaker 1: was Rihanna, and that night after we made love, she
- 6:18Speaker 1: wrote the song pun to Replay, which was her first
- 6:21Speaker 1: big hit, based off of our sexual encounter.
- 6:25Speaker 3: What do you think it is about you that keeps
- 6:27Speaker 3: her coming back?
- 6:29Speaker 1: You know skeletons. If I could figure it out, I
- 6:32Speaker 1: would be a billionaire. But I cannot figure it out.
- 6:36Speaker 3: So you see a cut of any of those success.
- 6:39Speaker 1: No no muses. Notoriously, we could talk about the Muse
- 6:42Speaker 1: Union the Muse, but we don't have to because we
- 6:46Speaker 1: talk about you. We probably will because we always talk
- 6:49Speaker 1: about the Union. You know.
- 6:50Speaker 2: It's funny when I when I signed the contract to
- 6:52Speaker 2: be on this podcast, they said, please mention a union
- 6:55Speaker 2: of some kind.
- 6:56Speaker 4: They told me that this podcast lately is heavy heavy
- 7:01Speaker 4: on union.
- 7:02Speaker 1: I wonder why. I wonder why this podcast is so
- 7:05Speaker 1: heavy on unions recently in specifics in contract, we.
- 7:08Speaker 3: Advise you to talk about unions and the contracts or
- 7:11Speaker 3: else they'll cut it out.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Well, our union is more of a social gathering than anything. Really,
- 7:17Speaker 1: that is a So yeah, I.
- 7:19Speaker 3: Sort of have a social contract, I would say to
- 7:23Speaker 3: the product of our musings.
- 7:25Speaker 1: M hm. So yeah. So, as we all know, as muses,
- 7:28Speaker 1: we rarely see royalties, if any. I mean, I don't
- 7:32Speaker 1: think I've ever gotten a royalty from being the star
- 7:35Speaker 1: of a Rihanna song, because it's ip, you know, it's
- 7:38Speaker 1: it's it's kind of like it's I don't own the
- 7:41Speaker 1: idea of how they feel about me.
- 7:43Speaker 3: To be fair, who would believe you?
- 7:46Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly. So far, it's been tough to convince anybody
- 7:50Speaker 1: that I have Rihanna's muse, you have no idea.
- 7:53Speaker 5: But god, okay, I guess i'll go now.
- 7:57Speaker 2: I can go. Okay, I'm just kidding. I'm going with that.
- 8:01Speaker 5: I thought.
- 8:01Speaker 4: So I had a feeling. Wow, how tantalizing. Hey, guys,
- 8:07Speaker 4: I am Rachelle. I am. I'll first tell you a
- 8:13Speaker 4: little bit about me, because that is more understandable to
- 8:15Speaker 4: me than me being amused.
- 8:17Speaker 5: I don't know. I don't really know who. I'll get
- 8:21Speaker 5: to this soon.
- 8:22Speaker 4: I'm a womanizer, I self proclaimed. I love being quirky
- 8:29Speaker 4: about that. I'm a single dad and I see a
- 8:33Speaker 4: lot of women. I'm also a scientist, and just recently
- 8:37Speaker 4: I was told that I am Chuck Lorie's muse. I
- 8:43Speaker 4: don't get it. I don't understand it.
- 8:47Speaker 5: I don't know who he is.
- 8:49Speaker 4: But that's just I mean, I've done some research lately
- 8:52Speaker 4: and I've been I've been amazed.
- 8:54Speaker 1: Well, can I.
- 8:55Speaker 3: Ask you, are you often placed in somewhat farcical situation
- 9:00Speaker 3: involving family antics, physical gags?
- 9:04Speaker 1: Well?
- 9:04Speaker 3: I realized and whatnot?
- 9:07Speaker 4: Well, yes, when I realized I was his muse, it
- 9:10Speaker 4: made sense to me because something that happens to me
- 9:13Speaker 4: often is I go to pick up my son from
- 9:14Speaker 4: school because I'm a single parent, and I often realized
- 9:18Speaker 4: that I fucked the teacher before, and I go, oh, oh,
- 9:22Speaker 4: that teacher and I have slept together. Also, I'm a brilliant, genius,
- 9:26Speaker 4: quirky scientist boy.
- 9:28Speaker 1: Yeah, so we get it. I think we get it
- 9:30Speaker 1: because you fucked people, so that's the muse for two
- 9:32Speaker 1: and a half men. But you're scientists, so that's big bangs.
- 9:38Speaker 2: My name is racial.
- 9:41Speaker 4: And uh, I'm thinking it's what I hear about from
- 9:46Speaker 4: Sheldon young s.
- 9:50Speaker 1: You think he took your first name and added done
- 9:53Speaker 1: to it.
- 9:53Speaker 5: He got it?
- 9:54Speaker 1: Yeah, people are talking.
- 9:57Speaker 3: About big bang theory, but you did not inspec I
- 10:00Speaker 3: are young Sheldon in the same way.
- 10:02Speaker 5: Just my name took that name?
- 10:05Speaker 1: Yes, got it?
- 10:06Speaker 5: Yes? And where I'm from?
- 10:08Speaker 4: I heard you say that, lovely lady. I am from
- 10:11Speaker 4: every single suburb in the world.
- 10:14Speaker 5: I lived in all of the suburbs in Army Brat. Yeah,
- 10:18Speaker 5: I guess you could say that. Boom.
- 10:22Speaker 2: Where did that come from? Do you have drums with you?
- 10:24Speaker 5: I just like saying things quickly and getting out early. Boom.
- 10:29Speaker 2: No, but the drum sound are you? Is everyone else
- 10:32Speaker 2: hearing that?
- 10:33Speaker 3: I am hearing the drum sounds, but I can't tell
- 10:35Speaker 3: where they're coming from.
- 10:36Speaker 1: Is there?
- 10:36Speaker 3: Do you have a hot key?
- 10:38Speaker 2: No?
- 10:38Speaker 4: Sometimes they're like to do that to make my jokes choppier,
- 10:41Speaker 4: like like.
- 10:42Speaker 1: My dick boom, oh, dick.
- 10:46Speaker 4: Man, I'm more risque than I hear Chuck Laurie's work
- 10:49Speaker 4: is Anyway, who are you?
- 10:51Speaker 1: I want to say before we move on, are you
- 10:53Speaker 1: potentially from Detroit or no one? Nurse? Because do you
- 10:58Speaker 1: are you either of those things? Wait?
- 11:03Speaker 2: Hold on?
- 11:04Speaker 1: Are you from the Twitter? Do you know a nurse?
- 11:08Speaker 5: A classic interview question.
- 11:13Speaker 3: That's a gotcha question telling you guys.
- 11:15Speaker 1: If Rihanna was here, it would have been a song.
- 11:17Speaker 2: That's a dinner game.
- 11:18Speaker 5: I like the story of my parents. Those are my parents?
- 11:21Speaker 5: So you was a nurse and my dad is from Detroit.
- 11:24Speaker 1: Your story is Bob Hart's Abashola famous Chuck Laury. So
- 11:30Speaker 1: your mom is a Nigerian immigrant and your dad is
- 11:32Speaker 1: a middle aged businessman from Detroit. Yeah.
- 11:35Speaker 4: The woman I'm dating currently is named Alice and Janny
- 11:38Speaker 4: and she is not a mom anyway.
- 11:42Speaker 1: Oh that's mom. Mom's got it. Yeah, everything about you
- 11:45Speaker 1: is screaming, Chuck Laurie.
- 11:47Speaker 3: Do you ever frequent the Kathy Bates owned weed store?
- 11:52Speaker 5: Oh no, what is that?
- 11:55Speaker 1: The short lived show about weed that they made really quickly.
- 11:59Speaker 3: Was on Netflix. It was Volticam for Netflix. They were
- 12:01Speaker 3: going to bring Multicam to streaming.
- 12:04Speaker 4: Yes, I've been told I'm only his multiicam news any
- 12:07Speaker 4: single cam.
- 12:08Speaker 5: He doesn't know.
- 12:09Speaker 1: Oh not the Kaminsky method, got it?
- 12:11Speaker 2: God, I wish I could know what everyone was talking about.
- 12:17Speaker 2: But all right, I believe it. I don't know. I
- 12:20Speaker 2: don't know the TV are TV? Oh?
- 12:23Speaker 1: Who are you?
- 12:24Speaker 5: And can I get your phone number?
- 12:25Speaker 2: But I guess I guess it's might And why is
- 12:28Speaker 2: it a joke that you'd want my phone number? Listen,
- 12:33Speaker 2: my real name is Agnes Barrell. But if you were
- 12:38Speaker 2: in Los Angeles in the late sixties early seventies you
- 12:41Speaker 2: might know me. As later, I.
- 12:45Speaker 3: Can't hear you at all.
- 12:47Speaker 1: I'm going to be real.
- 12:48Speaker 5: You're gonna have to eat the mic.
- 12:51Speaker 2: I'm turning my mic up. I've never used a mic before.
- 12:55Speaker 2: This is actually a huge deal that I'm being recorded.
- 12:59Speaker 2: They call me Lady Lavender.
- 13:01Speaker 1: I've heard late.
- 13:02Speaker 2: Sixties, early seventies. I was big in the Laurel Canyon scene.
- 13:09Speaker 3: And do you know what you have inspired? Or is
- 13:12Speaker 3: it sort of everything?
- 13:14Speaker 1: Oh?
- 13:14Speaker 2: I've inspired many things. I was in the room when
- 13:16Speaker 2: the Mamas and the papas became. You know, when I
- 13:19Speaker 2: got there, there was a room full of mamas, and
- 13:21Speaker 2: there was a room full of papas. Then I brought
- 13:23Speaker 2: them together.
- 13:24Speaker 1: You know what I mean.
- 13:26Speaker 2: My god, I'm the one who got Crosby, Stills, Nash
- 13:29Speaker 2: and Young together, and I'm the one who got Nash
- 13:31Speaker 2: out of it later. Yes, the sixties and the seventies
- 13:35Speaker 2: were a swinging time, and I was involved in every
- 13:38Speaker 2: single step the way.
- 13:39Speaker 1: I got to say, I'm more like a manager than amused.
- 13:42Speaker 2: No, no, no, I was a mute. I had little ideas. See,
- 13:46Speaker 2: I was a sixteen year old girl in rural Illinois,
- 13:50Speaker 2: not knowing what I was doing. I was screaming with
- 13:53Speaker 2: my dad. I was fighting with my mom, and I
- 13:56Speaker 2: got a train and I had twenty dollars in my pocket.
- 13:58Speaker 2: I let it end up in Los Angeles City Dreams,
- 14:00Speaker 2: and I said, time to make something for myself. So
- 14:03Speaker 2: I started hanging out with people. I met some guy.
- 14:06Speaker 2: He said, hey, I like the way you move. I
- 14:08Speaker 2: say thanks. He said, you look wonderful tonight. That man
- 14:10Speaker 2: it was Eric Clapton.
- 14:12Speaker 1: Wow.
- 14:14Speaker 2: You see, I just was around the scene. The scene
- 14:17Speaker 2: was me. I was the scene. We were all with
- 14:19Speaker 2: each other. And let's just say the swing in sixties
- 14:23Speaker 2: wouldn't happen without me. Let's just say I'm the person
- 14:26Speaker 2: that told Sharon Tate to go to that restaurant.
- 14:29Speaker 1: Oh god, I.
- 14:31Speaker 3: Ask if you.
- 14:32Speaker 2: Were to ask, I knew you were going to ask.
- 14:36Speaker 2: And I'll tell you that was a drag. That was
- 14:38Speaker 2: a big drag.
- 14:39Speaker 1: You were the person that gave Jimmy Hendricks all that
- 14:42Speaker 1: but those drugs.
- 14:43Speaker 2: Right, Yes, you might have heard about that. Huh, yes, yes,
- 14:47Speaker 2: so let's let's talk about it. I usually don't get
- 14:49Speaker 2: into it. So here's the thing. This is why I
- 14:52Speaker 2: don't really get on recordings. I am in charge. I'm
- 14:55Speaker 2: responsible for a lot of some of the greatest music,
- 14:58Speaker 2: a lot of the greatest song of all time. And
- 15:01Speaker 2: I'm also in charge and responsible for a lot of
- 15:04Speaker 2: the overdoses. And I'm not proud of it.
- 15:08Speaker 1: Babies, I would assume to be amused back then. Yeah,
- 15:12Speaker 1: it's kind of lose some.
- 15:14Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, you muse manager drug pusher. It's all
- 15:18Speaker 2: over the place. But the thing is, we were sonoring
- 15:21Speaker 2: cocaine like it was cold medicine. You have to understand that,
- 15:24Speaker 2: you know, we have to understand that. You guys have
- 15:29Speaker 2: to understand that everyone was like flower at the grocery store.
- 15:32Speaker 2: You have to understand it. Was a different time.
- 15:34Speaker 5: Miss Lavender, how would you like me to address you?
- 15:37Speaker 2: You can call me Lady Lavender.
- 15:38Speaker 5: Lady Lavendar.
- 15:39Speaker 2: Uh yeah.
- 15:40Speaker 5: Have you ever been approached for a docu series of
- 15:43Speaker 5: some sort?
- 15:43Speaker 2: I've been approached, Yeah, I've been approached by Marty. I've
- 15:46Speaker 2: been approached by Steven. I've been approached by Quentin. I've
- 15:49Speaker 2: been approached by Werner Hertzog. I almost said yes to
- 15:51Speaker 2: his but and why.
- 15:54Speaker 3: No, why say why that spotlight?
- 15:57Speaker 2: I don't want the spotlight. I don't want the attention
- 16:00Speaker 2: of the public. I wanted the intention of the artists.
- 16:03Speaker 2: Don't you understand that's what I like?
- 16:05Speaker 5: Don't you understand how you get?
- 16:08Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 16:09Speaker 1: Well, a good question for all of us is how
- 16:13Speaker 1: we survive. So I love.
- 16:16Speaker 2: The life of a muse is difficult. We don't get
- 16:18Speaker 2: life rights, we don't get IP, we don't sell, you know,
- 16:20Speaker 2: and if you're a true muse, you're not going to
- 16:22Speaker 2: become a mainstream artist. So I work at a I
- 16:26Speaker 2: work at a Vonn's and Canoga Park and it is awesome, Babies,
- 16:33Speaker 2: It's really nice. I'm the person who I basically oversee
- 16:38Speaker 2: the produce.
- 16:39Speaker 5: Section and you oversee it.
- 16:41Speaker 2: Yeah, and usually I sing along to the fake thunderstorms.
- 16:46Speaker 2: When the water comes down and sprinkles all over the groceries,
- 16:48Speaker 2: I usually stand there, and I stand there like it's
- 16:52Speaker 2: gonna rain. It's gonna rain.
- 16:57Speaker 3: You feel about you.
- 16:59Speaker 2: They're not on that side of the store. Baby. They
- 17:01Speaker 2: don't know what I'm doing over there.
- 17:02Speaker 1: Oh you got it. They're just never over there.
- 17:07Speaker 2: I'm in charge of the produce, so I get to see,
- 17:09Speaker 2: you know. I always send them away. I have a moment.
- 17:11Speaker 2: But the consumers, the customers.
- 17:13Speaker 5: Brim bones. How do you pay the rent?
- 17:15Speaker 2: Yes, how do you pay the rent? Skelet and Briones.
- 17:18Speaker 3: Well, it's pretty tough. I'm uh. Tim, I will say
- 17:23Speaker 3: he has been very generous. He has set me up
- 17:26Speaker 3: with an apartment in Burbank and so I live there
- 17:30Speaker 3: in a studio apartment. He could do better, He could
- 17:34Speaker 3: do better, I'd say. I looked it up on Zillow.
- 17:38Speaker 3: He's paid three hundred dollars a month and the place
- 17:43Speaker 3: is a mess. The place is disgusting. And I really
- 17:46Speaker 3: I know he's got money. I looked up his net worth.
- 17:49Speaker 3: I said, Tim, you're with millions. The least you could
- 17:52Speaker 3: do is throw me a bone. Here, and he says, no,
- 17:55Speaker 3: I don't know what you're talking about. These websites they lie,
- 17:58Speaker 3: they're all made by A and whatnot.
- 18:01Speaker 1: Oh, he's really anti AI. Good to know. Good to know.
- 18:04Speaker 3: Yes he's anti AI. That is something he has going
- 18:08Speaker 3: for him. But I do work at Spirit Halloween's once
- 18:12Speaker 3: a year. That's kind of my super Bowl. I sort
- 18:16Speaker 3: of linger around. I do a little song and dance,
- 18:19Speaker 3: and a lot of times people think that I'm one
- 18:21Speaker 3: of the toys, one of the toys that you press
- 18:23Speaker 3: and they dance and sing. But I have been doing
- 18:27Speaker 3: it for tips and I it has been quite lucrative.
- 18:31Speaker 3: I typically sob at the end of it, and that
- 18:34Speaker 3: gets people on my side. I just hang around, acting
- 18:38Speaker 3: spooky and scary up and that's what gets him to
- 18:43Speaker 3: continue talking to me, and that's what gets the people
- 18:46Speaker 3: to continue paying me.
- 18:48Speaker 1: I gotta say, this sounds awful, like a devastating life,
- 18:52Speaker 1: but it sounds like you're tied to him in some
- 18:55Speaker 1: way to hang out with him.
- 18:57Speaker 3: It's absolutely wonderful. I was a reanimated pile of bones,
- 19:02Speaker 3: and now I get to live forever. Some would say
- 19:06Speaker 3: have to, but I get to I have to choose
- 19:09Speaker 3: to get to Yes, it's been pretty good. And to
- 19:14Speaker 3: answer your question, which was what what was it? It was?
- 19:16Speaker 3: It was? It was do I have to hang out
- 19:18Speaker 3: with him?
- 19:18Speaker 1: Yes?
- 19:19Speaker 3: Yes, I signed a blood oath with the with a
- 19:24Speaker 3: few drops of blood I had left in my fingers,
- 19:27Speaker 3: and I signed an oath on a scary pumpkin with
- 19:31Speaker 3: me and mister Burton, that our souls are entwined forever,
- 19:35Speaker 3: not in marriage, but in art, which is scarier.
- 19:39Speaker 1: What is happening in Bavaria? That's my question, this.
- 19:45Speaker 3: Pretzels beer. I think there's still u. I think there's
- 19:51Speaker 3: still some some scary demons in the woods. But I
- 19:55Speaker 3: don't miss my homeland. I the valley was an adjustment.
- 20:00Speaker 1: I'm sure. The difference of the word let me tell
- 20:04Speaker 1: you to make it's a little different.
- 20:08Speaker 2: The valley is an adjustment for everyone. When I went
- 20:10Speaker 2: from Laurel Canyon to Canoga Park, I might as well
- 20:12Speaker 2: have moved to Mars.
- 20:14Speaker 5: I agree with you on that, lady.
- 20:17Speaker 1: I've always lived in the valley. I have always lived
- 20:20Speaker 1: in the valley. That's just where I was born. And
- 20:22Speaker 1: what do you do, Derek, I'm a life insurance salesman,
- 20:25Speaker 1: a technician, really I kind of adjust, claims.
- 20:29Speaker 2: Yeah, what do you so that's what you do for work?
- 20:30Speaker 2: Work work, work, work? Is that?
- 20:32Speaker 1: Well, that's actually what inspired it. One day I was
- 20:35Speaker 1: really stressed out and it's just all all the life
- 20:39Speaker 1: is work, work, work, work, work, And Rihanna kisses me
- 20:43Speaker 1: and sprints away from me. Chris is me, grabs my
- 20:45Speaker 1: face saying you're never leaving me, You're never leaving me,
- 20:48Speaker 1: and then runs away to a studio. And that's what
- 20:51Speaker 1: she does. She loves doing that. She'll call me into
- 20:53Speaker 1: the studio to just stand or dance or do whatever
- 20:56Speaker 1: I need to do.
- 20:58Speaker 5: Can I say something a little in a go ahead?
- 21:03Speaker 4: I just understand where men and women go and where
- 21:06Speaker 4: their places are.
- 21:08Speaker 3: Men and women different.
- 21:10Speaker 4: Men are idiots, women are crazy. And I think that's
- 21:13Speaker 4: just my fundamental life philosophy. And I think, Derek, you
- 21:17Speaker 4: are such an average guy. And Rihanna is such a sexy,
- 21:22Speaker 4: bombshell woman. I'm curious why she she uses you. Do
- 21:28Speaker 4: you have a big monster in the bedroom?
- 21:33Speaker 1: What do you mean like my stuffed animal?
- 21:34Speaker 2: Now?
- 21:35Speaker 1: I don't really, Uh.
- 21:36Speaker 5: You must be a heck of a lover.
- 21:39Speaker 1: Well, I think maybe that might be it. I mean,
- 21:42Speaker 1: she was she did after we had sex. She was
- 21:46Speaker 1: looking at me and then I apologized, obviously, as I
- 21:50Speaker 1: do after every time I have sex, and she was
- 21:55Speaker 1: just hounding me. I think, really, what it is is
- 21:58Speaker 1: I'm so normal and boring. You can't figure me out,
- 22:01Speaker 1: and some of the things I do kind of so
- 22:04Speaker 1: the other. You know, a couple of years ago, it's raining,
- 22:07Speaker 1: I'm getting pelted on. I'm struggling opening this umbrella I
- 22:10Speaker 1: cannot figure out. Pops open. All of a sudden, the
- 22:13Speaker 1: gust of wind is taking me three three blocks down
- 22:15Speaker 1: and I'm going real help. Three weeks later, umbrella drops
- 22:20Speaker 1: at number one. I don't know what it is. I
- 22:24Speaker 1: really have no idea what it is about me that
- 22:26Speaker 1: that causes her. But it's kind of like an ugly puppy,
- 22:30Speaker 1: you know, where you just can't figure it out. You
- 22:33Speaker 1: just can't figure it out, but you think it's cute.
- 22:34Speaker 3: So you want to know that's a rule, that's sam
- 22:37Speaker 3: go ahead.
- 22:38Speaker 2: Well, that's just a rule of muses. Baby. You don't
- 22:40Speaker 2: have to be good. You don't have to be bad.
- 22:42Speaker 2: You just have to be interesting. There has to be
- 22:44Speaker 2: it has to be bewildering. You know, I was gonna say, Ray,
- 22:47Speaker 2: you were asking if he was a good lover. You
- 22:49Speaker 2: don't even have to be a good lover to inspire
- 22:51Speaker 2: a song. I inspired the Buffalo Springfield song bad Lover,
- 22:55Speaker 2: and it was just a night where I was really
- 22:58Speaker 2: phoning it in with Stephen Stills, and that's what it happened,
- 23:03Speaker 2: and that, of course reached the charts.
- 23:06Speaker 1: I guess that's the question, who's a good lover here?
- 23:09Speaker 1: I guess maybe this.
- 23:11Speaker 2: I can turn it on.
- 23:15Speaker 5: Rocket bed see.
- 23:18Speaker 1: Okay, I'm gonna break it down. I think bones is
- 23:20Speaker 1: actually really good. Skeleton is really good. Okay, Rachel, there's
- 23:27Speaker 1: no way you're good in bed. Get in bed in
- 23:29Speaker 1: the way.
- 23:30Speaker 5: That the sheets are always moving under the.
- 23:32Speaker 1: Sh that's not a good thing. That's sim says use.
- 23:41Speaker 3: Bras are on with Rachel.
- 23:44Speaker 5: Bras on. I like central lights in the in the room,
- 23:49Speaker 5: in the bedroom.
- 23:50Speaker 3: Central lights, bra on. She's moving up and down like
- 23:54Speaker 3: she's moving up.
- 23:55Speaker 5: And down like a cartoon.
- 23:57Speaker 1: I will say, bras are tough to take off. I
- 24:00Speaker 1: cannot figure them out.
- 24:02Speaker 2: Oh, I can show you how to take them off.
- 24:05Speaker 2: I can show you how to take him off with
- 24:06Speaker 2: your tongue, darling. I can show you.
- 24:09Speaker 3: No, I'm bullshit show.
- 24:10Speaker 1: Us right now.
- 24:13Speaker 2: Well, I couldn't do it to myself, and I'm currently
- 24:16Speaker 2: being quarantined for shingles. Though I couldn't, I can't do
- 24:23Speaker 2: it to anyone else.
- 24:24Speaker 3: Lady Lavender, have you ever been vaccinated?
- 24:27Speaker 2: Of course, baby, I was. I was. I was the
- 24:31Speaker 2: muse for a pharmaceutical company in the eighties for a
- 24:33Speaker 2: little bit.
- 24:36Speaker 3: Sore because you were so diseased.
- 24:42Speaker 2: Darling. Yes, darling, you have me to thank for the
- 24:45Speaker 2: gunner Reea vaccine. I'll tell you that much. Yes, Darling,
- 24:49Speaker 2: I was walking around just full blown ghana all over
- 24:53Speaker 2: the place, baby, all over the place. They came to
- 24:58Speaker 2: me and they said, we've got to something about that.
- 25:03Speaker 5: If you guys said, if we have the goneria vaccine
- 25:06Speaker 5: to think.
- 25:06Speaker 4: To you, you guys have me to think for when uh,
- 25:13Speaker 4: mistaken identities.
- 25:15Speaker 5: Okay, you might think that Shakespeare.
- 25:17Speaker 1: So yeah, we have him to her think for Gonneria vaccine.
- 25:21Speaker 1: We have you to think for mistaken identities in general.
- 25:24Speaker 4: But before me and before Chuck, I should say, it
- 25:28Speaker 4: used to be a traumatic incident when you would mix
- 25:30Speaker 4: up who your gardener is and and who your mailman is.
- 25:33Speaker 2: He used to beatic.
- 25:37Speaker 5: Silly. Oh, I don't mean that. Oh no, we're gonna
- 25:40Speaker 5: take it back. Before before I didn't mean like that,
- 25:46Speaker 5: you bitch.
- 25:47Speaker 1: Before.
- 25:48Speaker 2: If there's any bitch here, it's me watching.
- 25:52Speaker 4: It used to be funny when you would mix up
- 25:56Speaker 4: your neighbor and your ex wife. But now it's silly
- 25:59Speaker 4: because to me, you mean to think it's change.
- 26:08Speaker 3: My style used to be spooky and now it's scary.
- 26:11Speaker 4: Oh, we have so much to think for you.
- 26:17Speaker 5: There are so many movies that are downright scary but
- 26:20Speaker 5: in a cartoony way, and I go and I can't
- 26:23Speaker 5: believe that's that's you. It's like scary Disney. Almost.
- 26:27Speaker 3: Yes, I briefly went over the hill. I Tim and
- 26:31Speaker 3: I were on the outs in the early months. We
- 26:34Speaker 3: were right, the pumpkin was rotting. He was not taking
- 26:40Speaker 3: me to bed anymore. We also we are fucking To
- 26:43Speaker 3: be clear, that was I don't know if that was clear.
- 26:46Speaker 2: But Lady Lad had a query about that. What is
- 26:49Speaker 2: your signature move in the bedroom? I'm so curious.
- 26:54Speaker 3: Well, I can't give away too much, but I will
- 26:57Speaker 3: say some of my bones are sure.
- 27:06Speaker 1: Sharp.
- 27:07Speaker 5: I like him with perky breasts.
- 27:09Speaker 3: Hey, don't knock until you've tried it. Some of them traddles,
- 27:13Speaker 3: some of them shake oo skeletons.
- 27:16Speaker 2: Warrenson them shake fast, the sharp ones or the soft ones.
- 27:23Speaker 3: Okay, I should clarify. The sharp ones are for BDSM
- 27:26Speaker 3: for scratching. The soft phones are for shaking, for shaking
- 27:29Speaker 3: so fast that they become a vibrator.
- 27:31Speaker 1: Was that? I'm sure Tim Burton loves a vibrator.
- 27:35Speaker 5: I'm sure you loved it.
- 27:41Speaker 3: And everybody loves a vibrator. Honey, everybody.
- 27:46Speaker 5: Chuck does too, don't get him wrong.
- 27:48Speaker 2: Oh boy, what.
- 27:49Speaker 3: Were we talking about? I went to the guy who
- 27:53Speaker 3: did Coraline for a little bit.
- 27:57Speaker 1: Wasn't that also Tim Burton?
- 27:59Speaker 2: That was?
- 28:01Speaker 3: I know, because what's happened before?
- 28:04Speaker 1: He didn't it?
- 28:05Speaker 2: But I think no, no babies that you believe that
- 28:08Speaker 2: was Henry Selik, who has a lot of the behind
- 28:11Speaker 2: the scenes credits for A Night before Christmas? Henry?
- 28:17Speaker 3: Yes, Wow, yes, would you believe it was Henry Selik?
- 28:21Speaker 3: And this guy he actually set me up pretty nice.
- 28:25Speaker 3: He set me up in a thousand square foot apartment
- 28:28Speaker 3: in Echo Park. It was really lovely near the lake,
- 28:32Speaker 3: near the lake.
- 28:34Speaker 2: And this was the early two thousands.
- 28:36Speaker 1: Yes, and not the best area to be and I'll
- 28:40Speaker 1: tell you that much.
- 28:45Speaker 3: Yes, well, anything is better than the haunted forest I
- 28:49Speaker 3: came from.
- 28:50Speaker 1: So I am. I don't know. Echo Part two thousand
- 28:53Speaker 1: and one might be a little worse.
- 28:57Speaker 3: Again, don't knock it until you try.
- 29:00Speaker 1: Did That's great? That's great? Yeah, well, I guess my
- 29:07Speaker 1: signature move in the bedroom.
- 29:09Speaker 2: I don't know if you follow that.
- 29:10Speaker 1: Yes, of course, it's called the Shuman. It's kind of
- 29:14Speaker 1: a fun thing where I kiss you from your head
- 29:19Speaker 1: to your toes, but I don't touch anything, and that's it.
- 29:23Speaker 1: And then I apologize for you. I'm usually done by then,
- 29:26Speaker 1: so I'm sorry. I really love you.
- 29:32Speaker 5: Apologize. I'm sorry.
- 29:35Speaker 1: Just I caught myself in the moment again, I did.
- 29:38Speaker 1: I'm apologizing.
- 29:40Speaker 2: None of you would like to hear what is? None
- 29:45Speaker 2: of you would like to hear it? Would you know?
- 29:47Speaker 5: I would? I would shut up, we would.
- 29:51Speaker 2: So I let candles, I covered the room and rose,
- 29:55Speaker 2: I play a little bit in my heart. I tell
- 29:58Speaker 2: my lover to lay on the bed and I eat
- 30:01Speaker 2: their ass for hours.
- 30:05Speaker 1: For hour, okay, for hours, there's a long time.
- 30:10Speaker 3: I'm like, that's a little more than I want.
- 30:13Speaker 1: Yeah, actually, so forty five minutes in.
- 30:16Speaker 2: Forty five minutes in people are beginning to think about
- 30:20Speaker 2: asking for me to stop. And then if you hold
- 30:22Speaker 2: on for ten more minutes, yes, forty five minutes in
- 30:26Speaker 2: here I hear some rustlings and move in a season,
- 30:29Speaker 2: go I ask you, but they never ask, and then
- 30:32Speaker 2: if they can't, if they ask, stop, But if they
- 30:35Speaker 2: don't ask darling, and we get to an hour. The
- 30:37Speaker 2: next hour and a half pure pleasure. But it's a
- 30:41Speaker 2: tight fifteen minute window.
- 30:44Speaker 3: Okay, so does all of this Obviously your height was
- 30:47Speaker 3: in the sixties and seventies, but oh yes, is it
- 30:50Speaker 3: still working for you now? How are you integrating with
- 30:54Speaker 3: the twenty twenty three party scene?
- 30:56Speaker 2: Oh goodness, well, the scene's changed, baby. I mean it's
- 31:00Speaker 2: changed all the way around. You know. I used to
- 31:03Speaker 2: be able to walk out scream at somebody on the street.
- 31:06Speaker 2: That person would scream bat. Turns out that person with
- 31:09Speaker 2: Stevie Nicks, and then we were fingering each other in
- 31:11Speaker 2: the back of the roxy until the sun came up.
- 31:13Speaker 2: But now if I go out there I talk to people,
- 31:18Speaker 2: you begin to see that your outside image changes a
- 31:22Speaker 2: little more than your inside image changed. So I tried
- 31:25Speaker 2: to be the muse recently for a young rock.
- 31:28Speaker 1: Star machine Gun Kelly.
- 31:31Speaker 2: It was machine Gun Kelly, had it go, didn't go well?
- 31:36Speaker 1: No.
- 31:37Speaker 2: I was fighting a lot with Megan Fox because I
- 31:39Speaker 2: think we had a lot of sexual attention, and I
- 31:41Speaker 2: actually ended up being her muse, and I got her
- 31:43Speaker 2: into the Transformer movie, a sequel. My god, no, no,
- 31:52Speaker 2: no no no. I also got machine Gun Kelly to
- 31:55Speaker 2: drop his name machine Gun. Now he's just machine which is.
- 31:58Speaker 1: A real machine.
- 31:59Speaker 2: And I I convinced him to do that because guns
- 32:02Speaker 2: are hate, baby, and I'm lady lavenders all love and
- 32:07Speaker 2: I have. I've tried to inspire a couple of things,
- 32:10Speaker 2: but every thing I inspire, his label says, this is
- 32:13Speaker 2: not what you've been doing, and it is a stark shift.
- 32:17Speaker 2: So I'm giving out the same energy, but it's maybe
- 32:19Speaker 2: not in the correct time period. I don't know if
- 32:22Speaker 2: anything spelled like that skeletons.
- 32:25Speaker 1: Machine Gun Kelly was so good and now he's not
- 32:28Speaker 1: as good. Still him. We love machine Gun Kelly.
- 32:35Speaker 4: Machine We're all good lovers, and we all love machine
- 32:39Speaker 4: Gun Kelly.
- 32:40Speaker 2: Like lemon juice on a wound. You are really hurting me,
- 32:43Speaker 2: You're hurting well, it.
- 32:45Speaker 1: Springs up an interesting thing. I've got an interesting question
- 32:47Speaker 1: for all you guys. Is there anything that you guys
- 32:49Speaker 1: inspired that maybe you didn't realize or it shocked you
- 32:52Speaker 1: when you found out about this big inspiration, like something
- 32:56Speaker 1: a little left of field like for me, I couldn't
- 33:00Speaker 1: believe it when Rihanna told me I was her inspiration
- 33:02Speaker 1: for her fenty lingerie line, I believe it. Yeah, everything
- 33:07Speaker 1: is modeled after my body. Yeah. Really I actually have
- 33:12Speaker 1: the perfect dimensions, it turns out for her line.
- 33:15Speaker 2: Really, you did.
- 33:16Speaker 3: All those fendy sexy underwears.
- 33:19Speaker 1: That based off of my base of my nether regions. Sorry,
- 33:23Speaker 1: I can't I couldn't believe it either. But when she
- 33:28Speaker 1: called me and she said, hey, I've got a surprise
- 33:30Speaker 1: for you, and I said, okay, yeah, let's check it out.
- 33:33Speaker 1: I came over to her giant mansion. I wish it
- 33:36Speaker 1: was me. No, And she said, put this stuff on.
- 33:40Speaker 1: And I said, Rihanna, what is this? I can't even
- 33:44Speaker 1: peak it. They're all laces and horse strings and all
- 33:47Speaker 1: these things. I don't know how to get in. And
- 33:49Speaker 1: she said, put it on. How you want to put
- 33:51Speaker 1: it on? She gave me a bunch of average. She said,
- 33:54Speaker 1: put it on how you want to put it on.
- 33:56Speaker 1: I put it on the best I could, and that
- 33:58Speaker 1: became the line is a muse.
- 34:01Speaker 3: So you're just sort of perfectly invented, or reinvented rather
- 34:05Speaker 3: the concept of a sexy teddy.
- 34:07Speaker 1: Yes, that was me. I was the reinventor of the
- 34:12Speaker 1: sexy teddy.
- 34:13Speaker 2: And Derek, I have a query for you. When you're
- 34:16Speaker 2: doing these things and you're fumbling, and you're you're making
- 34:19Speaker 2: interesting choices, does she ever laugh at you or.
- 34:23Speaker 1: Question she is taking it in? She is sometimes she'll laugh,
- 34:28Speaker 1: but it's one of those laughs of a realization laugh. Well,
- 34:31Speaker 1: you know, do you guys know a realization laugh.
- 34:33Speaker 5: Unless there's a laugh track.
- 34:35Speaker 1: Well, no, that's not true. That's not true. I don't
- 34:38Speaker 1: have a laugh track.
- 34:39Speaker 3: But I have a personal question that might only be
- 34:44Speaker 3: interesting to be what's Rihanna like on Halloween?
- 34:47Speaker 2: Oh?
- 34:47Speaker 1: She is a monster. It's her favorite holiday. She goes
- 34:53Speaker 1: all ham does the best chili, has the best outfits,
- 34:58Speaker 1: do chili. She does a Halloween chili every year, Halloween chili.
- 35:04Speaker 1: Rihanna loves two things, me and her chili. You could
- 35:08Speaker 1: say it's her muse as well. Chili is Rihanna's muse,
- 35:12Speaker 1: and I am also her muse.
- 35:14Speaker 2: Skeletons. What is Tim like on Halloween? Is it kind
- 35:16Speaker 2: of opposite day for him or because.
- 35:18Speaker 3: I, oh my god, he gets so fucked up on
- 35:21Speaker 3: that day.
- 35:22Speaker 1: Oh, I can imagine he's probably really dark and sad,
- 35:25Speaker 1: like the anniversary of a death.
- 35:29Speaker 3: It's actually really bad to be around him because he
- 35:32Speaker 3: the dark energy of how scary all those pumpkins are.
- 35:36Speaker 3: They get into his head and he begins turning. And
- 35:39Speaker 3: there's a certain time in the night from midnight to
- 35:43Speaker 3: three am on Hallo's Eve when he has to physically
- 35:47Speaker 3: lock himself in a cage to prevent becoming this scariest
- 35:51Speaker 3: pumpkin in the world, which is, of course a pumpkin
- 35:55Speaker 3: with buttons for eyes.
- 35:59Speaker 1: This Lord gets for in deeper. I cannot believe it.
- 36:02Speaker 3: He's a dark and twisted man, a man who can
- 36:06Speaker 3: think of scary, evil things even the most perverted, sickest, freakest,
- 36:11Speaker 3: darkest skeleton could never even conceive of. He thinks he
- 36:15Speaker 3: needs me, but he has surpassed me and spokiness. I
- 36:19Speaker 3: am nothing to him anymore but an original shell of
- 36:22Speaker 3: an idea, and he has taken it and run.
- 36:25Speaker 1: With it and a good fuck.
- 36:28Speaker 5: I will say that sounds like.
- 36:33Speaker 2: I'll be honest and skeletons. I am curious about Derek's question,
- 36:37Speaker 2: is there anything you incidentally inspired that? Maybe?
- 36:40Speaker 1: I think it's a great I'm sorry, but.
- 36:43Speaker 3: Thank you, and I have an answer for this. And
- 36:49Speaker 3: one night I you know, Tim and I are not exclusive,
- 36:52Speaker 3: of course.
- 36:53Speaker 2: None of us can be right. I don't think has
- 36:55Speaker 2: anybody here had had a real relationship, never can weekends.
- 37:00Speaker 2: It's a possible.
- 37:01Speaker 3: We're manic pixie dream girls. Yes, and so I had
- 37:06Speaker 3: a one night stand of somebody and he said, oh,
- 37:09Speaker 3: that's interesting. You're really interesting. And then he started taking
- 37:13Speaker 3: measurements of my body and I thought that's interesting. But
- 37:16Speaker 3: a lot of interesting things happened to me, So I wrote.
- 37:18Speaker 2: Now.
- 37:19Speaker 3: The next day, I see my body on the home
- 37:22Speaker 3: Depot website, twelve feet tall. I was pissed off. Pissed
- 37:28Speaker 3: the hell off. Oh that I am appearing on people's yards,
- 37:34Speaker 3: I am appearing on eBay. People are paying five hundred
- 37:38Speaker 3: percent markups for pictures.
- 37:40Speaker 1: For you were the basis for tall skeleton. You were
- 37:45Speaker 1: the basis basis.
- 37:46Speaker 3: For tall skeleton. And it's fucked up because I'm not
- 37:48Speaker 3: even that tall.
- 37:51Speaker 5: Yeah, so why even take your dimensions anyway?
- 38:00Speaker 3: Yeah? Yeah, whity do that? Yeah, whit doy do that?
- 38:03Speaker 1: I guess.
- 38:05Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 38:05Speaker 1: You know.
- 38:06Speaker 4: A thing that Chuck does that I don't understand is
- 38:09Speaker 4: that apartments are big.
- 38:11Speaker 5: My apartment is so small.
- 38:14Speaker 3: Yeah. His apartments are sort of laid out all.
- 38:17Speaker 1: In one life and all.
- 38:18Speaker 5: Of his work. Poor people have huge apartments and I
- 38:24Speaker 5: live I'm a single dad, and I work in clinical
- 38:27Speaker 5: trials at a young medical facility. I don't have a
- 38:30Speaker 5: lot of money.
- 38:31Speaker 2: How young is the medical facility?
- 38:36Speaker 5: Medical facility? Middle school ages of a medical facility. But yeah,
- 38:43Speaker 5: my living room and my kitchen or one big aren't
- 38:48Speaker 5: one big room and all of his work are.
- 38:50Speaker 1: And have you just going back to my question, have
- 38:53Speaker 1: you inspired? Have you come to realize you were the
- 38:55Speaker 1: inspiration for something you had no idea that.
- 38:59Speaker 4: I don't understand how I could be and how my
- 39:02Speaker 4: life could inspire the setting of huge apartments.
- 39:07Speaker 1: I gotta push back a little bit. It sounds like
- 39:09Speaker 1: you didn't inspire that. It sounds like that maybe the
- 39:12Speaker 1: one thing you didn't.
- 39:13Speaker 6: Every single thing about me is his muse. He's made
- 39:17Speaker 6: that very clear. Oh, so there are some things that
- 39:20Speaker 6: just don't line up. Maybe I misunderstood the question because
- 39:23Speaker 6: I'm a dumb dad.
- 39:24Speaker 3: Oh dear, no, you can't be dumb. You inspired bisinga
- 39:29Speaker 3: and the man who.
- 39:30Speaker 1: Says it, Yeah, oh buzzinga. Well I heard you actually
- 39:34Speaker 1: just to this is a big circle back. But right
- 39:37Speaker 1: the beginning of our podcast, you said bisinga almost in
- 39:41Speaker 1: a negative context. So I was so curious about this,
- 39:46Speaker 1: and I've been sitting on this for the whole time.
- 39:50Speaker 1: Do you use as a bad thing is a bad
- 39:55Speaker 1: thing to you?
- 39:56Speaker 5: Because the thing it's.
- 39:58Speaker 1: A good thing.
- 40:00Speaker 4: So I think we can all agree that we're the muse,
- 40:03Speaker 4: we're the spark, we are not the full fire.
- 40:06Speaker 5: And they ask I say.
- 40:08Speaker 4: Bisingo when I stubbed my toe like dumb dads do.
- 40:11Speaker 4: And I say bisingo when I can't find a parking space.
- 40:16Speaker 5: And I think Chuck loved my energy when I said it,
- 40:19Speaker 5: and he took it and made it a positive.
- 40:22Speaker 1: And but for you, as.
- 40:25Speaker 5: For me, I say it instead of uh fuk.
- 40:29Speaker 1: And sure you don't have to cover your mouth.
- 40:32Speaker 4: No, I love to censor myself just in case boom.
- 40:37Speaker 2: I would say the thing that I inspired that I
- 40:41Speaker 2: didn't know what was gonna happen, and something I wasn't
- 40:43Speaker 2: proud of was after a one night stand with Tommy Lesora,
- 40:47Speaker 2: I found out that my vagina was the inspirationment for
- 40:49Speaker 2: the shape of the jumbo tron at the Dodger's Staty.
- 40:53Speaker 3: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no no.
- 40:57Speaker 1: No, your bingo, there's no it's all true.
- 41:08Speaker 3: Tall tail, it's a true tail.
- 41:13Speaker 5: That bullshit.
- 41:14Speaker 2: Just because tails are tongue doesn't mean they're true, baby,
- 41:17Speaker 2: They're not true. Listen, it happened.
- 41:19Speaker 1: I can say Tommy lasorda famous baseball manager, not owner manager,
- 41:27Speaker 1: had sex with you, then probably went to talk to
- 41:29Speaker 1: the owner saying, man, I gotta describe this vagina to you.
- 41:33Speaker 1: They were so taken back that they made a jumbo
- 41:37Speaker 1: tron around it.
- 41:38Speaker 2: This was the sixties, babe.
- 41:41Speaker 5: Different Is this coming from the woman who snorts coke liked?
- 41:46Speaker 5: I don't believe it. I don't.
- 41:47Speaker 2: Okay, you want to know the truth that actually happened.
- 41:50Speaker 2: But the thing that I regret the most is one
- 41:53Speaker 2: time I was at a house party in Laurel Canyon. Okay,
- 41:56Speaker 2: I went to the bathroom. I was in a big conversation.
- 41:58Speaker 2: I walked back into the party. Elton John said, Oh,
- 42:01Speaker 2: the bitch is back, and everyone laughed, and then he
- 42:03Speaker 2: wrote a song called the Bitch Is Back. That happened,
- 42:06Speaker 2: and that was actually the darkest moment in my life
- 42:08Speaker 2: because I wasn't the bitch. I was the lover.
- 42:10Speaker 1: Okay, talk to every single talk to every single eagle.
- 42:13Speaker 2: I was the lover. Okay, okay, that's what I'm calling.
- 42:17Speaker 5: You, a bitch. I don't think.
- 42:18Speaker 4: I don't think compares to a jumbo tron shape like
- 42:21Speaker 4: your vagina.
- 42:22Speaker 2: Well, listen, only Tommy knew. He used to send me letters.
- 42:27Speaker 2: He's used to take pictures on an old film camera,
- 42:30Speaker 2: print him out, send him to me and say this
- 42:32Speaker 2: shame figure.
- 42:33Speaker 1: But he's a weird dude, is a weirdo.
- 42:39Speaker 2: And I'll tell you what. In the sixties, he doesn't
- 42:41Speaker 2: even make the top ten list of the weirdest guys
- 42:43Speaker 2: I've been with. I'll tell you that much. Where were
- 42:46Speaker 2: some fiends. I slept with some murderers. I'm nervous about that.
- 42:49Speaker 2: I was the muse for some murderers.
- 42:51Speaker 1: We don't know.
- 42:53Speaker 2: That is something that makes me keeps me up at night,
- 42:57Speaker 2: right keeps me up at night. Baby that I might
- 43:00Speaker 2: have been the inspiration for Ted Bundy. Baby, I don't
- 43:02Speaker 2: know do Oh what?
- 43:06Speaker 3: Can I just say? It is so refreshing in the
- 43:08Speaker 3: world of Hollywood remoats and remakes and recycling of old
- 43:14Speaker 3: material to meet the people who are the spark for
- 43:18Speaker 3: authentic new stories. And I think that that's wonderful. And
- 43:24Speaker 3: I think it's all fast art.
- 43:26Speaker 2: We are the art source. Look, we go back. We
- 43:28Speaker 2: are a long line of muses that we can be
- 43:31Speaker 2: proud of. You know, there's some muses that made it
- 43:34Speaker 2: into the spotlight, you know, thinking Lana Turner, right, she
- 43:39Speaker 2: was a beautiful woman that became an actress as well.
- 43:42Speaker 2: But I think they're sellouts. Are there any muses currently
- 43:44Speaker 2: that that are in the industry that have used their
- 43:48Speaker 2: prowess that you guys feel resentment for. I think there's
- 43:51Speaker 2: a couple that I don't like very much.
- 43:53Speaker 1: Oh yeah, there's definitely a couple.
- 43:56Speaker 2: Muses make money off their art. It's so insulting.
- 43:58Speaker 5: No, I don't like it. I went out to dinner
- 44:01Speaker 5: once with Sharona from my Sharona Oh yeah, and she's stupid.
- 44:10Speaker 2: You know. I'm I'm the sponsor for for for muses anonymous.
- 44:13Speaker 2: I'm the sponsor for Delilah from Heyther Delilah, and I'm
- 44:16Speaker 2: trying to keep it on the straight and arrow. But
- 44:18Speaker 2: she's having some trouble. She's having some trouble.
- 44:20Speaker 5: What a lovely foundation you have heard of?
- 44:23Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm using anonymous.
- 44:24Speaker 1: Yeah, I try to get a drink with the girl
- 44:28Speaker 1: named Santaria that they based the Sublime song one they
- 44:32Speaker 1: think you thought it was about Santoria. The Practice notes
- 44:35Speaker 1: about a woman named Santoria.
- 44:37Speaker 3: I had a similar mix up. I went on a
- 44:39Speaker 3: tender date with who I thought was sweet Caroline, but
- 44:43Speaker 3: it was actually the girl from the song by Amine
- 44:46Speaker 3: that goes Caroline Caroline.
- 44:49Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, that one the reason for the word bitch.
- 44:52Speaker 2: And I don't think that's Amine. I think that's outcast,
- 44:58Speaker 2: my little baby.
- 45:00Speaker 3: Oh I don't have her ears. I'm a skeleton who knows.
- 45:05Speaker 2: Speaking of that, I am the one who has inspired
- 45:07Speaker 2: under three thousand to release a flute album and I
- 45:09Speaker 2: feel bad.
- 45:15Speaker 4: Have you guys met that really, really really sad woman
- 45:18Speaker 4: in La that just walks around crying about her past.
- 45:22Speaker 4: She's the muse for the guy who directed Jackie and Spencer.
- 45:27Speaker 5: Yeah, she's just a sad woman.
- 45:30Speaker 1: Well there's I've met another sad woman, but I think
- 45:34Speaker 1: she was. She just kind of her sadness is more internal.
- 45:38Speaker 1: Eleanor Rigby. Have you guys met her?
- 45:43Speaker 2: Sad were friends with benefits before that was even a thing.
- 45:48Speaker 1: What was the benefit?
- 45:49Speaker 2: The benefit was crying. Oh, women couldn't cry in front
- 45:55Speaker 2: of men. Back then we'd be seen as week, so
- 45:57Speaker 2: we had to cry in front of each other. It
- 45:58Speaker 2: was intimate.
- 45:59Speaker 1: Well, actually went on a week and annoying. I went,
- 46:04Speaker 1: I went. I bought a car from a guy who
- 46:07Speaker 1: says he's Pitt Pole's Mules. He calls himself mister Worldwide.
- 46:11Speaker 2: Oh so.
- 46:14Speaker 1: Steal car salesman is larger than life. He could sue,
- 46:19Speaker 1: he could sue those.
- 46:21Speaker 2: Those high profile musics tend to disappear. I'd be I'd
- 46:23Speaker 2: be worried about him.
- 46:24Speaker 3: Yeah, I met the dog who Scooby Doo was based on.
- 46:29Speaker 5: Was he cute?
- 46:30Speaker 1: Not good?
- 46:31Speaker 3: Well, he's bones now because he's very old. But we
- 46:35Speaker 3: talked and he's he's he resents the weed. He resents
- 46:40Speaker 3: the weed. He's like there was never weed about in
- 46:44Speaker 3: my story.
- 46:45Speaker 5: Was he detective?
- 46:46Speaker 3: Was shaggy? He shouldn't be smoking so much weed. What
- 46:48Speaker 3: did you say?
- 46:49Speaker 5: Was the investigative at all? Detective?
- 46:51Speaker 3: Like he was investigative on where the damn tennis ball was,
- 46:55Speaker 3: That's for sure. He was definitely investigating that.
- 46:59Speaker 1: This and this I think opened up a bad portal
- 47:01Speaker 1: for me to go down. But can you I guess
- 47:04Speaker 1: since these all bones, can you just talk to bones?
- 47:06Speaker 1: Is that thing that you can do?
- 47:08Speaker 5: I don's been too.
- 47:09Speaker 3: Long on it, But no, that's part of my laura,
- 47:12Speaker 3: And that's a balleid question. I can talk to bones
- 47:15Speaker 3: and people if they are bone of heart and spirit.
- 47:18Speaker 3: So that's why I can talk to you.
- 47:24Speaker 1: Well.
- 47:25Speaker 3: I know it's a little early to say this, but
- 47:27Speaker 3: I love you guys, and I want to make a
- 47:29Speaker 3: movie out of each and every one of you.
- 47:32Speaker 1: Oh, we've become each other's muses.
- 47:33Speaker 2: There's got to say.
- 47:36Speaker 3: This always happens when muses get together.
- 47:39Speaker 1: I know I'm working on it. I want to work
- 47:40Speaker 1: on a short film about all of you guys. This
- 47:42Speaker 1: is so exciting for me.
- 47:44Speaker 2: Good luck, good luck trying to catch me. I don't
- 47:47Speaker 2: show up on film. Good luck.
- 47:50Speaker 1: I just thought I believe skits. Do you guys want
- 47:53Speaker 1: to get together? And do some TikTok skits. Maybe together.
- 48:00Speaker 5: Kids with those talk tics.
- 48:04Speaker 2: I use a rotary phone. Still, that's it, boy.
- 48:09Speaker 5: What a fun group.
- 48:12Speaker 3: Hey, it's me Chuck LORI. I need you now. I
- 48:14Speaker 3: need you now. I need you now. I need a
- 48:16Speaker 3: blow for this next scene. I need you now.
- 48:18Speaker 1: I need you to do stuff.
- 48:19Speaker 3: I need you, I need you to do it. Now
- 48:21Speaker 3: come with me now.
- 48:22Speaker 5: Hey Skelton, get out of your cake. It's Tim.
- 48:27Speaker 3: Okay, Tim, what do you want to do?
- 48:33Speaker 4: I need your face on playing cards so I can
- 48:36Speaker 4: make a world.
- 48:38Speaker 1: Hey, miss Lemonar, it's Bob Dylan. Write a song with you.
- 48:46Speaker 2: Bobby, your mouth is still mumbly after that night we had,
- 48:49Speaker 2: isn't it?
- 48:50Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 48:51Speaker 2: Remember the night.
- 48:53Speaker 5: When you go down on a jumbo tron?
- 48:55Speaker 1: Am I right?
- 48:55Speaker 2: But I'm on the phone. I'm on the phone.
- 48:59Speaker 3: This has been our on artists, on artists, on artists,
- 49:01Speaker 3: answering the question. Now, that's why they call it showbiz.
- 49:05Speaker 3: We'll see you next time.
- 49:06Speaker 4: We didn't talk about the unions.
- 49:10Speaker 1: Nobody wanted to do Rihanna, nobody you would risk No,
- 49:16Speaker 1: I got it.
