- 0:08Speaker 1: Advice. Hello, Hell, Hello, Welcome to the Morteam but Nice Show.
- 0:15Speaker 1: I'm your host, Rob Shooter, and it is Thursday. Normally,
- 0:19Speaker 1: our dear friend Mark Lupo joins us every Thursday, but
- 0:23Speaker 1: today I'm coming to you from Washington, DC. I'm doing
- 0:28Speaker 1: a morning show today. I'm going to co host Good
- 0:32Speaker 1: Morning DC, and then tonight I'm at Georgetown University. So
- 0:35Speaker 1: I'm in my hotel room recording the podcast, and unfortunately
- 0:39Speaker 1: we couldn't get it together with Mark, but he is
- 0:41Speaker 1: listening and sends his love. He loves doing this show.
- 0:43Speaker 1: He never misses one. We've been so lucky, haven't we.
- 0:46Speaker 1: I've been on shows where I've been a co host
- 0:48Speaker 1: once a week or so, and often the rotation is
- 0:52Speaker 1: really really high. For the last two three years, we've
- 0:56Speaker 1: kept all our original hosts, and I'm so proud of that.
- 1:00Speaker 1: You've got to create a nice work environment. Don't you
- 1:04Speaker 1: feel like that If you work somewhere and people are
- 1:07Speaker 1: decent to you, kind to you, really value you. I
- 1:11Speaker 1: think it makes life so much better. I've worked in
- 1:13Speaker 1: places that didn't really care about me at all. When
- 1:16Speaker 1: I was at a Sirius XMA, i was paid to
- 1:18Speaker 1: two hundred dollars a show, So I wasn't there for
- 1:22Speaker 1: the money necessarily, but I went because I wanted to
- 1:25Speaker 1: learn how to do this. I wanted to learn how
- 1:28Speaker 1: to have my own show, and now we do. We
- 1:30Speaker 1: always talk about putting in the work, but I got
- 1:32Speaker 1: to admit they were not that nice to me at
- 1:35Speaker 1: Sirius XM when you turned up. They're not so kind.
- 1:38Speaker 1: So I'm so proud. Naughty's that together, and I mean
- 1:41Speaker 1: this together. You have done this too. We've created this
- 1:46Speaker 1: lovely little naughty community. Okay, let's jump into the show.
- 1:51Speaker 1: What time is it, my friends? It is tea time.
- 1:54Speaker 1: Big story. At the top of the show, Tom Sandoval
- 1:57Speaker 1: blind sighted brother with a new interview, and now he
- 2:02Speaker 1: could be fired. Sir Tom reportedly blindsided Bravo producers by
- 2:09Speaker 1: going behind their back the network's back to appear on
- 2:13Speaker 1: Howie Mandel's podcast. The vander Pump Rule star left no
- 2:19Speaker 1: stone unturned as he divulged lots and lots of details
- 2:23Speaker 1: about his month's long affair with Raquel on Howie Mandel's show,
- 2:29Speaker 1: but his words could have serious repercussions for his future
- 2:35Speaker 1: at Bravo. Sources told the Son quote the producers had
- 2:39Speaker 1: no idea he was doing this. They would never have
- 2:43Speaker 1: allowed it. I've seen lots of contracts with Bravo stars
- 2:48Speaker 1: and the network. You have to get permission to do publicity.
- 2:52Speaker 1: You have to do publicity that they want you to do,
- 2:55Speaker 1: but the press that you want to do you have
- 2:58Speaker 1: to get them to sign off on. So Bravo controls
- 3:02Speaker 1: the message. Bravo's masterful PR department really works twenty four
- 3:08Speaker 1: seven to make sure they get across the message they
- 3:12Speaker 1: want to get across on the shows that they want
- 3:15Speaker 1: you to appear on. So obviously Bravo is part of
- 3:18Speaker 1: NBC Universal. Andy Cohen has his own talk show on Bravo,
- 3:21Speaker 1: which was really invented just for the Housewives, for Bravo
- 3:25Speaker 1: stars to go on and tell secrets and promote the shows.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Also too, that a day Show is part of NBC,
- 3:31Speaker 1: so that's one of their favored outlets. But I know
- 3:34Speaker 1: this A couple of times friends of mine, quite naughty outlets,
- 3:38Speaker 1: cheeky outlets, have asked to interview the Bravo stars. They
- 3:41Speaker 1: always say, you've got to call Bravo. They can't say
- 3:45Speaker 1: yes if I bump into Bethany or the Countess and
- 3:48Speaker 1: say do you want to come on my podcast? They
- 3:50Speaker 1: always say you have to call Bravo. Once Luan did
- 3:53Speaker 1: co host. So Bravo and My Good Self are on
- 3:56Speaker 1: okay terms. But a lot of the other outlets. It's
- 4:00Speaker 1: not that they don't like them, it's that they can't
- 4:03Speaker 1: control them. And Bravo is all about controlling the message.
- 4:07Speaker 1: So Harry Mandel is a really nice guy. He's not
- 4:09Speaker 1: going to ask you really saucy questions, brilliant questions like
- 4:13Speaker 1: Radar or TMZ. He only asks soft questions. But nevertheless,
- 4:17Speaker 1: he didn't get permission. So that's what they're really angry
- 4:21Speaker 1: about here. Sources go on to say that Bravo is
- 4:24Speaker 1: putting all their time and energy into hyping the reunion.
- 4:28Speaker 1: That's why you do pr to sell a product, and
- 4:31Speaker 1: here the product is the reunion. They want millions and
- 4:34Speaker 1: millions and millions of people watching that reunion. And now
- 4:39Speaker 1: they say quote him pulling this BS move is basically
- 4:44Speaker 1: the producer's worst case scenario. And while it's unclear what
- 4:49Speaker 1: actually awaits tom sources say the network could end up
- 4:53Speaker 1: firing him to send a message to everybody else, not
- 4:56Speaker 1: just the vander Pump rul kids, but also of all
- 5:00Speaker 1: the housewives. You're not allowed to do this. I'm told though.
- 5:04Speaker 1: They are particularly freaking out because Tom implied to Howe
- 5:10Speaker 1: that the details of this scandal are not quite the
- 5:14Speaker 1: same as the narrative that has been pushed by the network.
- 5:19Speaker 1: He is claiming that he broke up before kissing his
- 5:23Speaker 1: new girlfriend. He said, quote, I had already broken up
- 5:27Speaker 1: with her two weeks earlier. Well, that is a very
- 5:30Speaker 1: different isn't it a very different situation? And he goes
- 5:33Speaker 1: on to say that she turned a blind eye, she
- 5:36Speaker 1: knew all about this, and we decided to do nothing
- 5:39Speaker 1: until we figured out quote a way that would help
- 5:42Speaker 1: both of us out. Ah. Is this all a PR stunt?
- 5:47Speaker 1: Is that what's going on here? Is this why Bravo
- 5:50Speaker 1: doesn't want Tom to be a loose cannon and tell
- 5:53Speaker 1: the truth on other people's shows. Oh, I'm also told too,
- 5:58Speaker 1: there was no Bravo rep, no one from Bravo at
- 6:02Speaker 1: the interview. Every single interviewer that these Bravo stars do.
- 6:07Speaker 1: They are escorted to the interview by a Bravo PR
- 6:10Speaker 1: person who keeps a very close eye on exactly what
- 6:15Speaker 1: is being said. So Bravo is freaking out here spinning
- 6:19Speaker 1: their wheels. This is just a terrible thing to happen.
- 6:23Speaker 1: They really planned this stuff out. Their pr rollout is
- 6:27Speaker 1: some of the best I've ever seen. I've been a publicist.
- 6:29Speaker 1: I as a publicist for a really long time. Bravo's
- 6:31Speaker 1: the best. They know how to spin something out, and
- 6:34Speaker 1: I think they know how to get viewers. They know
- 6:37Speaker 1: how to wind us up like a toy. And yet
- 6:41Speaker 1: they feel that whole strategy could have been undermined by Tom,
- 6:46Speaker 1: which brings us to our phole question of the day.
- 6:49Speaker 1: Tom blindsided Bravo with a new interview. Should he be fired?
- 6:55Speaker 1: He will be fined? Get this? Oh this is fascinating.
- 6:58Speaker 1: So shady. Matt my friend, the publicist, he used to
- 7:01Speaker 1: represent one of the housewives, and he told me that
- 7:04Speaker 1: he booked them on a show and did not get
- 7:05Speaker 1: permission from Brava. He thought it would all be fine.
- 7:09Speaker 1: They did the show. She got fined. They took money
- 7:13Speaker 1: out of her page check that they give her to
- 7:17Speaker 1: fine her. Oh so he will be fined, I'm sure
- 7:20Speaker 1: about that. Will he be fired? Hey, go vote on
- 7:23Speaker 1: our Twitter page and naughty Nie Rob Her facebook page
- 7:26Speaker 1: is naughty gossip and be sure to check back to
- 7:28Speaker 1: morrow and I will be back in New York tomorrow. Hey,
- 7:32Speaker 1: moving along, this is mind blowing. Jeremy Renner reveals that
- 7:38Speaker 1: his eye did pop out during the snowplow accident. He
- 7:43Speaker 1: revealed some really gruesome, gruesome details that caused his eye
- 7:47Speaker 1: to pop out of its socket. He said, quote, my
- 7:51Speaker 1: eye did pop out. That's weird. But I got pretty
- 7:54Speaker 1: lucky that none of the organs got messed up. So
- 7:59Speaker 1: he broke over thirty bones after this fourteen thousand ton
- 8:04Speaker 1: bulldozer basically ran him over. He also said that it
- 8:09Speaker 1: was just a horrific, horrific time for him, but he
- 8:13Speaker 1: actually felt sorry for his nephew, who was with him
- 8:16Speaker 1: during the accident, who was freaking out. He said, quote,
- 8:20Speaker 1: he had to see his uncle Jeremy on the ground.
- 8:24Speaker 1: I didn't see anything, but he saw the blood everywhere
- 8:27Speaker 1: the eye. I believe I could see from my other eye,
- 8:31Speaker 1: he recalls at the time he's now stepping out. A
- 8:34Speaker 1: few nights ago was his first night back on the
- 8:36Speaker 1: Red carpet. People went nuts. I had reporters there. He's
- 8:39Speaker 1: walking with a cane, and he's walking with a cane,
- 8:42Speaker 1: but he looks great. It's a miracle. It's an absolute
- 8:45Speaker 1: miracle when you know what he went through. To see
- 8:48Speaker 1: that he is still standing, he laughed to Jimmy Kimmel,
- 8:52Speaker 1: there were some good things about the accident. He was
- 8:55Speaker 1: making junks, he said, Suddenly his schedule is clear. He
- 8:59Speaker 1: has a freeze schedule. He has no work commitments there
- 9:02Speaker 1: for a while. And he also lost twenty pounds and
- 9:05Speaker 1: quit smoking. He said, wouldn't you go through something as
- 9:09Speaker 1: traumatic as that you realize you don't really need to
- 9:13Speaker 1: smoke anymore. I love that he's smiling. I love that
- 9:16Speaker 1: he's standing. Is to you. Jeremy Brookshields and Drew Barrymore
- 9:21Speaker 1: had a really interesting and very upsetting conversation about their moms,
- 9:26Speaker 1: saying how needy their mothers were and that their moms
- 9:29Speaker 1: were actually in love with them. So Brooke and Drew
- 9:33Speaker 1: said their moms were so needy it appeared like they
- 9:37Speaker 1: were in love with them. During a recent episode of
- 9:40Speaker 1: The Drew Barrymore Show, Drew asked Brook if her mother, Terry,
- 9:45Speaker 1: had dated any of Brook's partners, because Drew's mother did.
- 9:51Speaker 1: Oh no, Brooks said, because she was in love with me,
- 9:56Speaker 1: adding that her mother had no interest in men the
- 10:00Speaker 1: time quote I was her main focus. Both of us
- 10:04Speaker 1: were cut off from a sexuality. Drew then joked that
- 10:09Speaker 1: her mother, Jade, was so in love with her that
- 10:12Speaker 1: she chose to date her daughter's boyfriends quote, my mom
- 10:18Speaker 1: was so enamored with me that she wanted to be
- 10:21Speaker 1: with people. I was with Brooks, surprisingly, who was a
- 10:25Speaker 1: child star too, Like Drew said, I get it. It's
- 10:29Speaker 1: so needy and weird. Ultimately, they both did say that
- 10:35Speaker 1: they forgave their mothers. They had to find peace with
- 10:39Speaker 1: this very very unusual. I would say, awful, awful, awful childhood. Amandabines,
- 10:46Speaker 1: another young TV star, another child star, has been released
- 10:50Speaker 1: from hospital three weeks after being found roaming the streets naked.
- 10:56Speaker 1: She was released from a mental health facility almost a
- 10:59Speaker 1: month after she was found roaming the streets of la
- 11:03Speaker 1: without any clothes on. The actress, who is now just
- 11:07Speaker 1: thirty seven, was discharged on Monday after being cleared by
- 11:11Speaker 1: the medical staff. TMZ report that's important. The medical staff
- 11:14Speaker 1: would not let her go. They wouldn't unless they felt
- 11:18Speaker 1: she could, so that's a good sign. She is now
- 11:21Speaker 1: expected to start out patient treatment. However, she will remain
- 11:27Speaker 1: in her home in an effort to maintain her independence.
- 11:32Speaker 1: The up date comes just a few days after sources
- 11:36Speaker 1: told TMZ that Amanda wasn't being forced to stay at
- 11:40Speaker 1: the facility, but didn't feel ready to leave quite yet,
- 11:44Speaker 1: while clearly she does now friends, family are trying to
- 11:48Speaker 1: formulate a plan to help her stay on the right path,
- 11:53Speaker 1: but also to let her have her independence. So after
- 11:58Speaker 1: the awful third Teenia conservatorship of Britney spears, we think
- 12:03Speaker 1: about conservatorships differently now, don't we. And yes, you might
- 12:07Speaker 1: be helping people, but at the same time you're taking
- 12:10Speaker 1: away their rights. So it's a real balance, isn't it.
- 12:12Speaker 1: Here You've got to keep people safe, but it's their life.
- 12:16Speaker 1: They're adults, They've made all this money, it's their money.
- 12:20Speaker 1: What does the family do? So here, I think they're
- 12:22Speaker 1: trying to walk a really difficult type robe of letting
- 12:26Speaker 1: Amanda feel be independent but still providing a safety net. Hey, quickly,
- 12:32Speaker 1: before we get a break. Brett Goldstein, who is my
- 12:35Speaker 1: new celebrity crush, you know him from ted Lasso. He
- 12:39Speaker 1: is speaking out about being a quote sex symbol. He's
- 12:44Speaker 1: so cute. So the quickest way to make Brett speechless
- 12:49Speaker 1: is to ask the ted Lassos star how he feels
- 12:53Speaker 1: about becoming a sex symbol, which is exactly what Variety did.
- 12:57Speaker 1: He said, quote, this is the first I've heard of it.
- 13:00Speaker 1: He almost did a spittake when Variety brought up sexy
- 13:07Speaker 1: Brett Goldstein. He said, quote, I'm flattered you're telling me this,
- 13:12Speaker 1: and I will expect you to address me as such
- 13:15Speaker 1: moving forward. He joked, how do I feel about becoming
- 13:19Speaker 1: a sex symbol? I don't know I can say, and
- 13:23Speaker 1: then he looked away and blushed. Listen, he continued, quote,
- 13:27Speaker 1: if that's a thing that has nothing to do with me,
- 13:30Speaker 1: that has to do with the show, right, because of
- 13:32Speaker 1: the character. He's gracious enough here to admit all this
- 13:35Speaker 1: is happening because of the character on ted Lasso. But
- 13:38Speaker 1: I've got to add, Brett, you are adorable. He joked
- 13:41Speaker 1: to it that he seems to be the only person
- 13:43Speaker 1: in la in the last fifteen years who has anybody hair.
- 13:47Speaker 1: He's a hairy, little devil, hairy chest, and he said,
- 13:50Speaker 1: maybe that's a thing like WHOA, what's this is this new? No,
- 13:54Speaker 1: it's not just that your hairy, it's that you're a
- 13:56Speaker 1: good guy, which is exactly what his producers said to
- 14:01Speaker 1: Variety said, Brett is a very soft spoken, gentle guy,
- 14:05Speaker 1: and it speaks to what an amazing actor he is
- 14:08Speaker 1: because he has almost nothing to do with his character Roy.
- 14:13Speaker 1: He is really really sweet and may I add really
- 14:17Speaker 1: really sexy. If you don't know who he is, google him.
- 14:20Speaker 1: He is totally my new celebrity crush. Don't tell Jimmy Kimmel. Hey,
- 14:25Speaker 1: we're going to take a quick breakkim and we will
- 14:27Speaker 1: be right back. Welcome back to the Naughty Button Night Show,
- 14:31Speaker 1: How Naughties. Thank you for joining us today. Sometimes I
- 14:34Speaker 1: get a bit nervous when I'm by myself. I'm quite
- 14:37Speaker 1: good now at doing solo shows, although I do miss
- 14:39Speaker 1: our dear friend Mark. What I'm not good about is
- 14:42Speaker 1: my routine being upset. I'm sitting in my hotel room.
- 14:45Speaker 1: I've just ordered some fruit for breakfast and some coffee,
- 14:49Speaker 1: and I'm sitting here talking to you, so thank you
- 14:52Speaker 1: for keeping me company. I don't like traveling as much
- 14:55Speaker 1: as I get older, particularly if I'm traveling by myself.
- 14:58Speaker 1: I know I like all my creature comforts. I' it's
- 15:00Speaker 1: my husband, Bruise. I miss Darby. I miss all the
- 15:03Speaker 1: people in my building, I miss my dormman. I have
- 15:06Speaker 1: created such a lovely life for myself in New York
- 15:08Speaker 1: City that why would I ever want to go anywhere else?
- 15:12Speaker 1: I know why. Don't worry. I'm going to be fine.
- 15:15Speaker 1: I'm going to co host my tail off, and then
- 15:18Speaker 1: I'm going to do a great lecture tonight at Georgetown. Hey,
- 15:21Speaker 1: let's get to the polls, doctor dar Yesterday we talked
- 15:24Speaker 1: about Taylor Swift, who has spotted out for the very
- 15:26Speaker 1: first time in New York City since her breakup with Joe.
- 15:30Speaker 1: Is there a good idea to get right back out there? So?
- 15:33Speaker 1: Sometimes when you break up by no I have you
- 15:35Speaker 1: want to hide from the world. Don't you disappear? When
- 15:37Speaker 1: your friends invite you out for drinks so coffee, you
- 15:39Speaker 1: don't want to go. You just want to stay home.
- 15:41Speaker 1: You don't want to get out of your pajama that's
- 15:42Speaker 1: your night dress. You just want to stay home in
- 15:45Speaker 1: eatime scream that's what I want to do. But no,
- 15:48Speaker 1: Taylor Swift put some lipstick on, she got back up,
- 15:50Speaker 1: and she got back out. What do you think is
- 15:52Speaker 1: that the right thing to do? Let's have a look
- 15:54Speaker 1: o Wow. Eighty percent said it is the right thing
- 15:58Speaker 1: to do. A majority there. Don't forget to vote on
- 16:02Speaker 1: today's pole, can I Twitter page and naughty I room?
- 16:04Speaker 1: Her facebo page is naughty garzim and be sure to
- 16:08Speaker 1: check back to morrow to hear your results. And now
- 16:12Speaker 1: it's time for our noisest of the day. Ariana Grande
- 16:17Speaker 1: is addressing concerns that she looks too thin in new pictures.
- 16:21Speaker 1: She assured her fans that she's healthy after they claimed
- 16:23Speaker 1: she was too thin, and she urged her followers to
- 16:27Speaker 1: be more mindful before sharing their opinions about other people's appearances. Quote.
- 16:32Speaker 1: The body that you've been comparing my current body too,
- 16:36Speaker 1: was the unhealthiest version of my body. I was on
- 16:40Speaker 1: a lot of antidepressants that's new, and drinking on them
- 16:43Speaker 1: and eating poorly. I was at the lowest point in
- 16:46Speaker 1: my life when I looked the way you considered healthy,
- 16:50Speaker 1: but in fact it was very unhealthy. I know I
- 16:53Speaker 1: shouldn't have to explain that, but I do feel like
- 16:56Speaker 1: having an openness and some sort of vunerable ability here
- 17:01Speaker 1: good might come from it. Yes it will. I remember
- 17:04Speaker 1: when Lindsay Lohan got super skinny and everybody was telling
- 17:07Speaker 1: her she looked great, and she was so miserable. She
- 17:10Speaker 1: wasn't eating, she wasn't looking after herself. And it's wild,
- 17:13Speaker 1: isn't it. What people's views of you are are often
- 17:18Speaker 1: not matching what is really going on. We should all
- 17:22Speaker 1: all be careful before we comment about other people's appearances.
- 17:26Speaker 1: Good for you, Arianna, Let's do and not is the day? Naughty, naughty,
- 17:30Speaker 1: naughty King Charles is tired and furious after his brother,
- 17:33Speaker 1: Prince Andrew, his disgraced brother, refuses to leave his thirty
- 17:38Speaker 1: seven million dollar home that doesn't belong to him. Charles
- 17:42Speaker 1: and his younger brother Andrew are fighting over real estate. Andrew,
- 17:46Speaker 1: who was forced out of his royal duties after settling
- 17:49Speaker 1: a sex abuse case. Let's remember that a sex abuse case.
- 17:53Speaker 1: He settled it in twenty twenty two, so he is
- 17:57Speaker 1: refusing to move out of the royal lodge on the
- 18:02Speaker 1: Windsor estate as the new monarch has demanded the house.
- 18:06Speaker 1: The lodge belongs to the Crown. It doesn't belong to Andrew.
- 18:11Speaker 1: His mommy, the Queen Queen Elizabeth, gave it to him,
- 18:14Speaker 1: learned it to him, because it wasn't hers to give
- 18:17Speaker 1: it belongs to the crown. Now that the Queen has passed,
- 18:20Speaker 1: Charles is the king and now he's in charge of
- 18:23Speaker 1: all the royal property. He wants Andrew out of that house,
- 18:26Speaker 1: and he wants to move him into Frogmore Cottage that
- 18:30Speaker 1: had been the home of Harry and Megan. It's a
- 18:33Speaker 1: five bedroom house. It's a beautiful home. But it's much
- 18:36Speaker 1: more appropriate for a disgraced prince to be there than
- 18:40Speaker 1: the Royal Lodge. I'm told the Royal Lodge might actually
- 18:43Speaker 1: become the home of William and Kate. Source he say quote.
- 18:48Speaker 1: Andrew doesn't want to leave because the property is seen
- 18:50Speaker 1: as a symbol of senior royalty and it's very important
- 18:55Speaker 1: for him to keep this in his portfolio. But William,
- 18:58Speaker 1: who is the heir to the own, he has his
- 19:01Speaker 1: eye on it. He's not going to beat William here.
- 19:03Speaker 1: William is Charles's son, and William's going to be the
- 19:06Speaker 1: next king. And Andrew, you should be grateful that your
- 19:09Speaker 1: family is giving you a home at all. Okay, let's
- 19:14Speaker 1: end with a moment of Robie at rob You know
- 19:17Speaker 1: who they are, the people who keep apologizing and then
- 19:21Speaker 1: keep doing the same thing over and over again. Because
- 19:24Speaker 1: they're not really sorry at all. What they are doing
- 19:27Speaker 1: is trying to make themselves feel better, and now one
- 19:30Speaker 1: has any time for that. Moving forward to change in
- 19:33Speaker 1: behavior is the only apology that any of us should accept.
