- 0:20This guy!
- 0:32That guy
- 0:36Okay, see the radio
- 0:41You want to do it you want to do it do what we're the mob guys D The
- 0:47Mad Guy, he's from Jersey originally, I'm from Brooklyn.
- 0:51We both came here for freedom and prosperity.
- 0:55It's true. And the American way.
- 0:57And I've stayed here, I came here when I was 14, I stayed here and I'm obviously
- 1:02not 14 anymore. I've been in the journalism world here for 50 years.
- 1:08You know that Craig, 50? No. Darn years.
- 1:11What got you into it? What made you do this when you were first starting?
- 1:15So, I know it's hard to believe this, but I used to do impressions of Jerry
- 1:19Lewis. Back when I was young and my voice wasn't hoarse, I did a Jerry Lewis
- 1:24impression. And I made people laugh with it, because it was a pretty good
- 1:28impression of Jerry Lewis. Most people listening probably go, who's Jerry Lewis,
- 1:32which is frightening. I know who he is.
- 1:34But nonetheless, the guy that did the telethon for the older folks, they know.
- 1:39And so I decided that I should go into
- 1:45radio. And I didn't really, and I was talking to
- 1:51my advisors at UT, which I already had stopped really going to other than just
- 1:55registering, right? I didn't really go to the classes.
- 1:58That I should go into journalism.
- 2:01And I said, I don't care about journalism.
- 2:04I just wanna do my Jerry Lewis imitation.
- 2:06Yeah, so that's really this the story of how a legend is born
- 2:12Wait, did you drop out of school then to pursue journalism or no?
- 2:16I Didn't finish college. Okay, I was there for five and a half years and I was
- 2:22clearly not going I was just there.
- 2:24I was hanging out. We have that in common as well I the first school that I I
- 2:29left and they kind of depending on if you ask me or my mother Either they kicked
- 2:33me out or I left but I got an opportunity in radio in South Bend to do stuff with
- 2:39ESPN there and Cover Notre Dame and I was going to Holy Cross and I just stopped
- 2:43going to my classes I was like, this is better and I sat down with a Advisor just
- 2:48like you and they said to me You don't need this very expensive thing that you're
- 2:52paying for to pursue what you're pursuing And it seems like you're succeeding at
- 2:5619 years old You should just do that.
- 2:58And so I listened and for a semester I listened without telling the school And so
- 3:03then at the end of that semester, I failed all the class.
- 3:05I didn't show up to any finals I when you don't take any of your finals you fail
- 3:08all those classes and so then they sent me a letter I've heard that yeah, they
- 3:12sent a letter to my mom that was like hey, you're kicked out for a semester I was
- 3:16allowed to go back. It was a one semester break.
- 3:18I was allowed to go brag But I was a best your break.
- 3:21Yeah, I was like, I'm not coming hold it.
- 3:22That's what they called it They're like we're gonna have we're gonna put you in
- 3:25timeout first semester if you failed everything But we'd like you to come back
- 3:29and so my mom and I debate what happened first chicken and the egg Was I already
- 3:33failing or was go ahead? Yeah, no, I think you were I was not I was not But I
- 3:38would say that both of us sort of exemplify America right yeah,
- 3:44you you like you start doing something you love to do and and I still
- 3:50love Doing what I do. I amassed a great list of people who hate
- 3:56me, which is Really entertaining to me amazing.
- 4:00I I get it all the time. I get nasty texts and phone calls and
- 4:05I enjoy it. I really do. It makes me happy.
- 4:10But I was working, I've been working a lot on weekends.
- 4:14And so, you know, but I was looking forward to coming in this morning because I
- 4:17wanted to talk about, you know, the election.
- 4:23Excuse me. I think this is very loud.
- 4:25I thought I thought we were getting a break early there.
- 4:27You know what that is? Yes. It's a godfather.
- 4:31Yeah, I have the godfather on my phone.
- 4:33My wife hates it. I think it's awesome.
- 4:35I'm actually going to change that to be my ringtone right now as we continue to
- 4:39have this conversation. Yeah, I have the godfather on my phone, so when you call
- 4:42me, it rings. Gotcha.
- 4:46That's all. Were you setting up the Talarico clip or were you going another
- 4:49road? What were you doing? I don't know what road I was going on.
- 4:52I will set up the Talarico clip if you want me to.
- 4:54Sure, go ahead. So this is a clip sent to me by my friend Mike Carl, who's
- 4:58listening to us in lovely scenic, Alabama this morning, which is, you know, great
- 5:03place. Um, Montgomery, Alabama, but he sent me this clip of somebody going up to
- 5:09Talarico, one of those like meet and greets.
- 5:11We take a picture with the candidate.
- 5:14She probably paid money to take that picture because they don't take those
- 5:17pictures for free. Like sports guys.
- 5:20Anyway, she goes up and, and, um, here's what happened.
- 5:23Yeah, she seems to know him pretty well too, which is also weird.
- 5:26Here we go
- 5:32I'm so glad you came, I'm so glad you came.
- 5:36These are lots.
- 5:39I'm so happy you're running and everything you're doing for our country and
- 5:44everyone's feeling included. I haven't used these pants, I want to let her know
- 5:49that our government hears her, can I count on you to support her, and she's not
- 5:53able to participate in it in sports.
- 5:55The way I the way I fought for trans kids in legislature is how I will fight for
- 5:59the US Senate. My position hasn't changed.
- 6:02I still think these should be local decisions sport by sport, athlete by athlete
- 6:06and I think I have the most inclusive policy of any candidate who's running.
- 6:11I know things are getting clipped and stuff, but my views, my position hasn't
- 6:15changed and I'm gonna have your loved ones back.
- 6:19Okay, thank you so much. Okay, what's crazy about that is that he says stuff is
- 6:23getting clipped and he means of him saying things saying things that Directly
- 6:28disagree with what he just said there and he's trying to tell his supporter who
- 6:31sounds like someone that definitely is giving him money Or at least he thinks is
- 6:35going to give him money That don't worry the things you're seeing that the stuff
- 6:39that I'm saying isn't what I believe that person paid money probably a
- 6:44significant amount of money so that Talarico would stand there and take a
- 6:48picture with her. And be honest with her.
- 6:51And that's why he told her, like, because he figured, well, who's paying to come
- 6:55in here to, you know, to spy on me.
- 6:58There were so many things that were weird about that.
- 7:00And one of them was the local
- 7:04sport by sport decision. So
- 7:10I want us to sort of parse that a little bit.
- 7:12So does that mean that it depends on the sport, whether we're going to let men
- 7:18play in women's sports? So who's going to make that decision about whether being,
- 7:24I mean, are they playing chess?
- 7:25Right. Maybe he's talking about the chess club, that it doesn't matter if you're
- 7:31trans, but it does in all sports, I think.
- 7:36So there is a radical group. The only way that I can talk about this topic and
- 7:39the thing that you're asking is there's a radical group of people that try to
- 7:42make the argument that there are certain sports where the biological advantages
- 7:46of a man are different than other ones.
- 7:48And an example for that would be like basketball.
- 7:51The biological advantages for a man are pretty significant, like just being
- 7:55taller, being able to jump higher than women.
- 7:58But they say like, you know, gymnastics, it might actually be more beneficial to
- 8:03be a woman to be more limber to be someone who can, you know, maybe throw
- 8:07themselves in the air hire, maybe men competing as women in gymnastics will
- 8:11inevitably lose. So they're saying that that's allowed, that that would be okay
- 8:15in those sports where the transgender person has a significant disadvantage to
- 8:21the female body. And there's not a lot of examples in sports where this exists,
- 8:25but I was probably going to say, do you have something other than gymnastics?
- 8:28Because that's not generally a real masculine sort of sport anyway.
- 8:32This would be like Olympic style sports.
- 8:34Like when it's, you know, Oh, I know you know what's that thing with a It's not
- 8:40shovelboard sure that they called the big one the one on the ice with the broom
- 8:49Broom guys
- 8:51Curling it's currently we got sorry.
- 8:54I'm sorry. Well now if I attended the curly they don't care so it's more what
- 8:58they mean by that is like the the ones where you're dancing like the skating but
- 9:03it's more about dancing. You're kind of dancing now.
- 9:05I know, seriously. We are. Like, this is them.
- 9:08This isn't me. This isn't my opinion, the stupidity of this.
- 9:11And so you then use that as a way to say and a way to make it sound as though
- 9:16you're going to put men in a lot of sports against women, not just the one or two
- 9:21where they might have an argument that it might be a disadvantage to be a
- 9:24biological dude. But even then, like, what's the point in doing that in all
- 9:29honesty and letting someone compete in a sport where they're doomed to fail
- 9:32because they're not going to be as limber as a lady and then if they still win
- 9:37it's still unfair it still makes you feel like I wouldn't be I guess the best way
- 9:42to say this Wayne because the more I've thought about this if I think about it a
- 9:45lot no I'm thinking about it right now it's just a right now thing the more I'm
- 9:49thinking about it right now to make that clear not like Talarico who goes to
- 9:53sleep and I think about this stuff the weirder it would be for me to be like the
- 9:57parent of a kid.
- 10:30Can I ever tell you about my son's spelling bee?
- 10:32I think I did. I don't know. I'll tell you about it on the back end.
- 10:36We got a break so it was my tease.
- 10:39There we go. Big story about my son and some Indian girls coming up.
- 10:43He got a spelling bee coming up in just a bit.
- 10:45A lot coming on. It is the Mob Guys on KSEV Radio, The Voice of Texas, more after
- 10:51KSEV radio, this is the voice of Tactus.
- 10:54We know that anyone that heard that tease hung in through the entire commercial
- 10:58break. Oh my God. There was no...
- 11:00They were going, kids, come in here.
- 11:02Don't you feel those getting ready to talk about his kid?
- 11:05There's no way to leave. You teased a story about your son and a spelling bee and
- 11:09I can't remember what else you said.
- 11:10I don't know how we got from trans kids.
- 11:13Focus. I'll do a real quick recap.
- 11:16I said that I would be disappointed if I had a kid that seemed to be beating
- 11:19people he had a biological advantage against.
- 11:22I think that it would disappoint me.
- 11:24And I'm surprised more parents of children that dominate a sport because they're
- 11:29biologically pre -conditioned to do so don't also feel that way.
- 11:34But go ahead. So like some of the elementary school, he was in a spelling bee.
- 11:38And I'm not gonna say I was disappointed in him, but I remember that he was
- 11:44one of three remaining contestants and the other two girls
- 11:49were Indian girls.
- 11:52And I turned to my wife and I said, Anthony screwed.
- 11:56He's never, he's gonna lose the white guy.
- 12:02White guy ain't beaten the two Indian girls, right?
- 12:05who are you know beaten every day to make sure they get good grades.
- 12:09I'm just kidding. But you know what I mean.
- 12:11I get you. And I never, we never, you know, Anthony just gave what he did.
- 12:15And and did he lose? Oh, it was the very next question.
- 12:18I think I think the word was paprika.
- 12:22Paprika? Well, they called it paprika, I think.
- 12:25Oh, paprika. And and he's dispelled it.
- 12:29Yeah. It was like nine or something.
- 12:31Like he doesn't know how to spell paprika who cares, but I know it's bothered him
- 12:36all these years.
- 12:39I turned him, I really did. I leaned over to my wife and I said he's screwed.
- 12:44He's not going to beat the Indian girls.
- 12:45What's funny about that is I was a mathlete for a little while.
- 12:48Do you know what those are? A what?
- 12:50A math athlete. They called it mathlete when you competed in mathematical.
- 12:55Well, I didn't hang out with those people.
- 12:57Okay. Yeah. Even I remember in like grade school, they used to do like, um, times
- 13:01table quizzes for us for some reason.
- 13:04And, uh, whenever it got to the end, it'd be me and like the three Asian kids in
- 13:08the classroom. You're done. You're doomed.
- 13:10Sorry. Yeah, because, you know, I don't know what it is, but there's cultures
- 13:14that are very good at math, it seems.
- 13:16And they, they all beat me all the time.
- 13:18Um, you had another piece of audio that we want to play if we're going to be
- 13:21controversial in the show now, which I feel like we are.
- 13:23And we both don't care. Actually, that's probably one of the other things that we
- 13:26get along on. I kind of like it too when there's people that don't like me for
- 13:30reasons that I think make sense Look and you're gonna say something that's wrong.
- 13:34Look I have I've offended more people over the years Sure, like I I use this
- 13:40opportunity to say I don't care
- 13:45It's not intentionally hurtful I know very strong views right about what I want
- 13:51my country to be and yeah And I, you know, I, I, I live in a dripping Springs
- 13:56in Austin during the weekends and my neighbor, I've gotten troubled by the
- 14:02HOA for putting up a Trump flag.
- 14:04So when I saw his Trump flag, I said, thank God, because they're in Austin.
- 14:10Really? Seriously. It's going to be, it's going to be rare.
- 14:13A completely different world. Um, I, we have a caller and then we're going to do
- 14:16the audio you sent of the barber, which I think is funny, but we can try to get
- 14:20to, uh, Alan first. Alan, what do you want to say?
- 14:25Yes, I want to call everybody attention to an
- 14:31event that happened last week regarding the Fort Bend County tax
- 14:36assessor and collector. Her name is Carmen Turner and she was
- 14:42federally indicted for fraud. I
- 14:47remember there was a call last week urging us to pay more attention
- 14:53to the local races.
- 14:56This is the example. She won the 2024 election only by 2000
- 15:02votes, and she has a history of lawsuits against her but it would settle
- 15:07our court.
- 15:10So we have to do better exposing, well,
- 15:16analyzing the local race because those are the races that are affecting us
- 15:20directly. I appreciate this sentiment.
- 15:23Here, hold on, because I feel like Wayne's going to know all about this.
- 15:27Fort Bend County is a county that he's involved in often with his other gig.
- 15:31And Aaron Reitz, who is the U .S.
- 15:33Attorney, was the one that had the press conference, and he's a true believer,
- 15:37Aaron Reitz. He's a great choice for US attorney and he's going to he's gonna
- 15:42cause some trouble and do some things that haven't been done and But the sad
- 15:48thing about Fort Bend County is that if you look at the early numbers The
- 15:53Republicans are gonna get swamped in Fort Bend County and there is a really good
- 15:58chance Alan that Carmen Turner's gonna win again, right even even with that just
- 16:02like with Carla Wyatt There are people that have every every reason to think that
- 16:07they can't possibly get reelected and Wayne and I were talking earlier in the
- 16:10show About people who just ignore it don't care show up vote D and go home They
- 16:14might not even know who Carmen Turner is They just see her name and there it's on
- 16:19the right side of the ballot. So they vote for it.
- 16:21I which is horrible Can I put in a little plus because I'm relying on
- 16:27these people There is a group called the I voter hmm.
- 16:32They have if they need your help for the funding, they started
- 16:38doing this midterm, they starting to putting more
- 16:43information about candidates who's running for local races, but they
- 16:49need more funding. I think that's one step that we can
- 16:55go forward with that. And I appreciate their help.
- 17:00Sure, no problem. me. Sure. We thank you very much for the call, Alan.
- 17:03That's iVoterGuide .com. It's grounded in God, rooted in research, and they have
- 17:09a whole thing on Texas. They tell you what people's positions are from a
- 17:13political position, and also they tell you what people's positions are from a
- 17:16religious position. So it also matches or mismatches certain politicians to your
- 17:22belief and your faith. Let me just sort of.
- 17:52I have a feeling that James Talarico is not on their list.
- 17:56People just vote because you never know what's going to happen on election day
- 18:00and you just go vote. I still enjoy voting in person, but I did vote early,
- 18:06but I voted in Hays County. I voted for Bubba, the guy that's running ...
- 18:12I don't know, some guy named Bubba.
- 18:14I'll vote for him. I remember once voting for Sam Houston, a guy that ran for
- 18:19Texas Attorney General. His real name was Sam Houston, just like the first
- 18:25president of Texas. the guy with the statue.
- 18:27Yeah. Yeah. And they got a big statue in Huntsville.
- 18:29That's very tall. Very tall. Yeah.
- 18:32And it's actually, have you been close up to that statue?
- 18:35I know. I've only been driving by it.
- 18:37It's pretty, you should go. Okay.
- 18:39You should pull over. Okay. Take a break.
- 18:41All right. Yeah. You go to the bathroom.
- 18:43Yeah, sure. I don't think you'd go to the bathroom on the statue.
- 18:46Yeah. I don't think I'm supposed to.
- 18:47But I forget that attack. I totally lost my train of thought.
- 18:51You're talking about Bubba. Yeah.
- 18:52So I went into the poll that the ballot that year and I saw
- 18:57the guy his name was Sam Houston.
- 19:00I said, I'm going to vote for that guy because of his name.
- 19:03I have nothing about him. Right.
- 19:07Uninformed vote. Uninformed voter right there.
- 19:09Yes. Yeah. It didn't take me very long to vote though, because I did not in the
- 19:13races. There were some races where they were just Democrats up there.
- 19:17Right. Sure. And so I didn't vote as a side of my protest against
- 19:23what's happening to the Democratic Party.
- 19:25But perhaps the Democratic Party is beginning to reflect more of the changing
- 19:30face of America. I don't say that as an endorsement.
- 19:35I say that as we need to look around, folks.
- 19:38Yeah. Well, you know what's really interesting?
- 19:40Because I can admit that my family is pretty conservative.
- 19:42Like a lot of my family is very conservative.
- 19:44We have my cousin on this show and he's a pretty well -known conservative person.
- 19:47And that's a reflection of most of the belief system of the family that raised
- 19:51me. And so when I was 18, I remember registering Republican, just voting R down a
- 19:55ballot the first time I could vote and just leaving.
- 19:57Like I didn't know any of the people.
- 19:59I was just like, this is what I'm supposed to do.
- 20:00This is what grandma does. This is what my mom does.
- 20:03This is what I do. And so I just did it.
- 20:05And it took me a few more years to pay attention to things and not just feel good
- 20:09about voting for the sake of voting.
- 20:11And like thinking, and I remember my grandmother instilled in me at a pretty
- 20:14young age that like the abortion thing is all that mattered.
- 20:18She's like, you should care about just this one issue, save babies lives and vote
- 20:22Republican down the ballot. I'm like, all right, Grandma, I'll do that.
- 20:24And it's not until you're in your mid 20s, at least, at least this was for for me
- 20:30where you started to even pay attention to something.
- 20:32And I think there's a lot of young people now who were one very specific issue
- 20:36voters and they believe that voting D is akin to voting for the good guys,
- 20:42because whatever that one issue is, they think that the Democrats agree with the
- 20:45more than Republicans do. Yeah, I guess my biggest problem with some of the young
- 20:49people
- 20:53stop bothering me. You usually have that muted.
- 20:58I really do. I don't know why. It's fine.
- 21:00I just want to show you how popular I am.
- 21:02Yeah, that's great. I'm already being called by lawyers for something I said.
- 21:06A quick break, a lot more. KSEV radio, voice of Texas.
- 21:09The Mob Guys, Wayne D 'Altrifino, who barely knows how to use a computer.
- 21:13And Craig Coglianese, we'll be back after this.
- 21:15We are the mob guys thrilled to be with you.
- 21:17As I always say, and sometimes Wayne laughs at that, although he's here and we
- 21:21love that he's here. We were talking about this crazy Muslim thing
- 21:27that went viral and it's hilarious.
- 21:29Do you want to set this up at all?
- 21:30Well, can I just tell you that this is a barber, right, who apparently refuses
- 21:36to cut the hair of Muslims? And I'm sorry, not defending that.
- 21:41But, but he is, he's hilarious, but he also
- 21:46represents, I think, a culture in this country that
- 21:52is rightfully, and I don't call it Islamophobia because I think that's a fake
- 21:56word. I'm not afraid of Muslims.
- 21:58Right? because if we're going to get into a shoot and match, let's go.
- 22:02But I do think there is legitimate concern
- 22:08that people who are Muslim or
- 22:13Islamists are going to try to change our laws and our culture,
- 22:19which is not what our founding fathers believed.
- 22:24And that's what concerns me but this guy you gotta watch this man this guy listen
- 22:28to this guy's funny yeah he is funny because I do think he's making an argument
- 22:33about the behaviors of certain individuals and he's couching it in Muslim people
- 22:38but I think he is actually trying to make an argument that's more defined than
- 22:42that But here we go No, no, no, no
- 22:48Because of your attitude you suck I do
- 22:53because you got to this country and don't behave yourself you get the hell out of
- 22:59here now
- 23:08No, he doesn't like her attitude he doesn't touch her by the way I know they
- 23:13can't see it so he's just way hands he said get he's get out of here and he's an
- 23:17older dude I don't think he's gonna attack her and she's getting a little upset
- 23:20by that but yeah he says he doesn't do Muslim haircuts because their attitude
- 23:24sucks Look, I think it is going to be the defining issue
- 23:29culturally in this country. We talk
- 23:34about Dems and Repubs or Common Sense versus Crazy,
- 23:41which I think is right. Let me ask you a question.
- 23:44Speaking of this,
- 23:46what do you think our final message should be?
- 23:48And I say, oh, I'm talking about conservatives, Republicans.
- 23:51Oh, in the last few weeks before this election?
- 23:54It was not in a few weeks, it's only seven days away.
- 23:57Okay, yeah. Yeah, I get you're right.
- 23:58This last week is what I should have said before the election.
- 24:01Yeah. I think the message you came up with when we started the show is a really
- 24:05good one, is that, you know, at least we're not crazy.
- 24:08No matter what you think about what's going on over the last couple of years.
- 24:11Look, I'll tell you something else, and I don't know if I should admit this on
- 24:14the air, but I will. I was watching this big Nick Fuentes thing, and I don't like
- 24:17Nick Fuentes. I don't, you know, pay attention to him on purpose, but
- 24:22occasionally if something goes viral, I watch it at a curiosity.
- 24:24I watch him. I watch him. Okay, and he was doing this big giant thing about the
- 24:28corruption within the Trump administration and how electing Democrats will
- 24:32demonstrate how corrupt it is and out it all because they'll go after them.
- 24:35Whether or not that's true, which I don't agree with him, and I think the
- 24:38Democrats will manufacture and make stuff up and make it look worse than it is,
- 24:41like when they were trying to throw him in jail before, but his message was vote
- 24:45Democrats in to fix the Republican Party by forcing the corruption
- 24:51out, because allow the Democrats to go investigate it.
- 24:54It's a dumb path to a thing that I think a lot of us do want, which is less
- 25:00corruption in government overall.
- 25:02Not necessarily just Democratic corruption going away.
- 25:05I want all corruption to go away.
- 25:07I don't want to vote in a Talarico to do it, because he won't do it for any of
- 25:10the right reasons, and he'll make stuff up.
- 25:12Like when they went after Trump when he wasn't in office before he was reelected,
- 25:16they proved how little they care about facts.
- 25:19Oh, if the Democrats take over, dude, you're going to have nothing but
- 25:22investigation, stop investigations, impeachments.
- 25:27Sure. I don't believe those Democrats for a minute when they say, Oh, no, we're
- 25:33going to worry about making things more affordable.
- 25:35Right. I still haven't heard how they're going to make things more.
- 25:38Have you heard that? No. Well, that's what I mean.
- 25:41If you think because I think a lot of people out there especially people in the
- 25:45middle the people were trying to reach a week Before the you know now the electo
- 25:49We should have been reaching them sooner But if those are the people left to
- 25:54decide then what you tell them is the flaws of politics exist on both sides But
- 25:59at least the right isn't crazy The left is insane and some of the things they say
- 26:04are fundamentally just nuts And even that Talarico clip that we played that we
- 26:08could play again of him saying no matter what I say over the next Week, I'm gonna
- 26:12go ahead and fight to put dudes in women's sports across the board He's gonna do
- 26:17that whether or not it's a thing that motivates you to vote But are people really
- 26:21are people that dumb? Yes, they don't know I mean
- 26:27look I have short -term memory loss, you know for my party days in college Sure.
- 26:32But I'm still like remember enough to remember two years ago.
- 26:37Right. Six months ago. Six months ago.
- 26:40Well, what are we doing?
- 26:42And how do they lower the price of something in a store?
- 26:47They don't. I just think. They're going to raise our taxes.
- 26:49It's going to all be more expensive.
- 26:51Nothing's going down. And we did.
- 26:55All we did with the Medicaid stuff, not to interrupt, all we did with the
- 26:57Medicaid stuff and say, you got to work to get free Medicaid.
- 27:02I think the one example that liberals would use is the Mamdami grocery store.
- 27:06When you say, how are they going to make food less expensive?
- 27:08The government wants to take ownership of the grocery stores, which we know is
- 27:13horrible and literal communism.
- 27:15Taking away, taking the means of production, taking over industries is bad for
- 27:19us. But I think that's the example they'd use is that the government will force a
- 27:23lower price by selling it directly to us.
- 27:25Is it going to be like a discount or is it going to be totally free food?
- 27:29It's the exact same thing with Obamacare.
- 27:31To be honest, it's the same band -aid, different version.
- 27:35Subsidized something. It's like, well, you'll pay us directly, we'll give it to
- 27:38you and it'll be great, and then it'll be horrible and terrible, and a bagel will
- 27:42cost $50 on the internet in a very short amount of time.
- 27:46It's a great country. This is where we're really...
- 27:48I'd like to, in advance, commend all the idiots who think this is the path
- 27:53forward. I just I don't even I don't like a lot of the messaging of Republicans
- 27:59my closing argument would have been The things we fixed Yeah, right.
- 28:05Yeah, give us more time to fix the worst.
- 28:08Yeah, we've done all these things I mean the border remember when they were
- 28:13saying that Trump had to sign that border bill because if he didn't sign it Yeah
- 28:17Like, you know, it was millions of people were going to keep coming in.
- 28:20And like within like, I think 12 hours we sealed the border.
- 28:24It felt like. Yeah. Right. Well, what's what gives me hope, I guess, is the idea
- 28:28that even if people overreact now and put aside in power that shouldn't be in
- 28:32power because they haven't proven they deserve it, that two years from now, I
- 28:36think we won't get the same thing we got with Biden, which was a revolt against
- 28:41the left. Like in 2024, part of the reason that Trump did so well is how
- 28:44horribly, horribly, Poorly, you know that side itself performed well in power No
- 28:50So I don't think Republicans over the next two years will fumble quite as hard
- 28:54and I think that that'll benefit them in 2028 I think there's a chance that we
- 28:58have a Republican president again I think Trump do you think Trump talks about
- 29:02but so much because he knows That's what's gonna get covered by the media
- 29:08and it's I don't know of trolling right because the sad reality is
- 29:1495 % of people, maybe more, don't ever hear his speeches except
- 29:20for the 22nd where he's talking about Nicki Minaj's ass.
- 29:24Well, here's the thing I think is funny is that it was Nicki Minaj because there
- 29:28are a lot of people that don't know that she's become a conservative, that don't
- 29:32know that she supports that side.
- 29:34And I think that if he's trying to reach certain voters, maybe a young male
- 29:37voter, maybe a black voter that mentioning Nicki Minaj is a fan of his and having
- 29:42that go viral and And also thinking she's got a nice butt is probably not a
- 29:46message they're going to disagree with.
- 29:48Look, I disagree with sometimes with some things he says in the messaging, but
- 29:52he's a marketing guy. Maybe he knows better than me.
- 29:58Maybe, you know, and look, I still think that the two big things we're going to
- 30:04be looking for, especially in Texas, at least is the Hispanic vote.
- 30:08Yeah, sure. Is whether or not the Hispanics who helped Republicans
- 30:13get in and were part of that redistricting thing, whether they turn away from
- 30:19Trump in large enough numbers to make a difference because they are a sizable
- 30:23part of the population. And then I think besides the Hispanic vote, it's going
- 30:29to be the black vote. They didn't bring Obama to Michigan for nothing.
- 30:33They brought him because he hasn't sold the black vote.
- 30:39Well, and that's happening here.
- 30:40They say that Talarico is not winning the black vote to the degree that they
- 30:43thought he should. Well, if you look at the local boxes, you will see that the
- 30:49three biggest traditionally African -American polling locations
- 30:54are really low.
- 30:58And that's a problem, that he needs that coalition.
- 31:01and Talarico needs them to come out in pretty significant numbers.
- 31:06I mean, maybe a bunch of blue -haired white people will help him get in without
- 31:10it. Oh my God. You go to Austin and it's like, I get the hippies, I
- 31:16get the hippie thing, I'm fine with it, whatever, live your life.
- 31:20But it is sort of a, you look around and you go, what the hell is happening?
- 31:25Plus, I gotta be honest, man, whenever I see blue hair now because of how much
- 31:28the right jokes about blue hair specifically, I think it's intentional.
- 31:32I do think anybody that's rocking the blue hair is intentionally trying to say,
- 31:36I'm a hardcore Democrat at this point.
- 31:38They might've claimed that it was just an accident before, but now it seems like
- 31:42it's almost the MAGA hat version of the left.
- 31:45Yeah, but I also, and this is a personal thing, I don't like piercings.
- 31:48I'm not a big fan of tattoos. I don't dislike them.
- 31:50To be honest with you. Me neither.
- 31:51I think it's weird. And I see people all over the place, they were like, all
- 31:56kinds of stuff in their face. Sure.
- 31:58And I'm going like what is the world?
- 32:01Yeah, I don't mind a little bit of it, but a lot of it is intense I don't
- 32:05understand it like they have like metal coming out of both their noses.
- 32:09I'm going what are you doing? I don't know.
- 32:12Oh, by the way, I'll play this before we take our last break.
- 32:14This is the the thing that you mentioned I just want to play it again.
- 32:16It's Trump talking about Nicki Minaj's but for anyone that's unaware
- 32:22Of course she does like I'm not gonna disagree well when I woke up this morning I
- 32:26said I'm gonna go see Colin A's and we're gonna talk about but Mickey Minaj
- 32:31specifically here we go. No, just but That is a little bit quiet before he starts
- 32:35talking again By the way, I looked at one hell of a beautiful ass before I
- 32:43Think that's funny man. I think everything about this morning and everybody is
- 32:47laughing They're there laughing.
- 32:49Yeah, he is entered. He is entertaining and And like it's the funny thing is
- 32:55is the media hates him so much.
- 32:57Yes that they will take what obviously was a joke Yeah, you think it's tasteless
- 33:02or classless or whatever is whatever sure but but they got somebody coming in
- 33:08your office Oh, I just got a Texas trans and
- 33:13LGBTQ plus student resource guide
- 33:23Okay, why do they send you that?
- 33:25What's going on there? Because they heard us talking about it.
- 33:28Gotcha. By the way, Nicki Minaj, if you did actually see her, her dress showed
- 33:33off part of her body. That might have been the reason Trump mentioned it.
- 33:37One more thing about this. I don't know what the source of this is.
- 33:42It's entertaining. It says, the organization TENT, which
- 33:47apparently stands for Trans Texas Takeover Tour, is
- 33:53just launched the Trans Texas Takeover Fall Tour, which
- 33:59visits communities all over the place.
- 34:02and what's today? Your date today is the 26th.
- 34:0526th yes. Dawn you're not gonna be...
- 34:08Did we miss it? We missed it dude it was on the 17th.
- 34:11Oh no. I'm sure it was well attended but...
- 34:14I'm sure it was huge you have big event.
- 34:16But it was sent to... Apparently they went on tour back in 2025 and they've been
- 34:21touring since they're like a band that's been on tour and I don't know if they've
- 34:26been successful at all. Should we end with their music?
- 34:29Maybe. The trans -Texas takeover theme song.
- 34:32I know I'm not gonna like it, because I know it's gonna be overly woke, but we'll
- 34:36talk about that more in just a bit.
- 34:37Quick break, one last segment. You can call us.
- 34:40I don't give out the phone number a lot, but you can.
- 34:42I jump in and be a part of the show.
- 34:44The Mob Guys and The Voice of I had a listener send me a message on at radio
- 34:47Craig C. You can do that this on Facebook a lot of people choose Facebook I don't
- 34:51check it as much as I should but they really like the question of final message
- 34:55to voters and their final messages is pretty simple they said if
- 35:01you want America to not be America anymore vote for the left what do you think of
- 35:05that man I do like I I think it's got to be one of the messages for sure
- 35:11I I just I just know and that I I am
- 35:16extremely unhappy with what is happening in this country.
- 35:22I just really am. And it's one of the reasons why when Betancourt called me,
- 35:28Senator Betancourt called me and said, hey, will you come on the show?
- 35:31First of all, Craig doesn't know what he's doing.
- 35:33Second of all, he needs help. I do, desperately, yes.
- 35:37That's true. You're one of the voices out there.
- 35:40I said, you know what? But I want to do it.
- 35:43And I do it more often than I was going to do it because I'm just so frustrated.
- 35:49I just don't understand the way people are thinking.
- 35:54I don't understand this growing dependence on the government being your mommy,
- 36:00which really bothers me. I think government spending is so out of control.
- 36:06I investigate government for a living.
- 36:09Democrats always want to raise your taxes.
- 36:13Republicans recoil at the idea of raising taxes when they do it.
- 36:19Remember George Bush, read my lips, no taxes.
- 36:21We don't like raising taxes. We don't want to charge people more.
- 36:25We want to give them back their money.
- 36:27Yeah, but everybody shapes that as giving rich people more money.
- 36:31The way that the left fights the idea of taxes going down is they always say,
- 36:35they want to give rich people a tax break.
- 36:37Like even if we all get one, they claim that it's just for the people that are
- 36:40wealthy and that those people will hoard even more money because of how nice
- 36:44Republicans are to them and don't steal the money as government and then misuse
- 36:48it. Hey, look, if you want to take the Uber rich, and I'm talking about Uber
- 36:53rich, right? People make more than $50 million and you want to like change some
- 36:57tax laws to tighten up some of the BS exemptions they do.
- 37:03Have a good time. I don't care.
- 37:04I mean, I don't think we object to rich people paying
- 37:10a lot of taxes because they're rich people, right?
- 37:16Elon Musk can spend $350 million on an election.
- 37:18I mean, he probably has a couple of extra million to pay more taxes.
- 37:23But at the same time, you don't want to stifle growth.
- 37:27These people are creating all the jobs.
- 37:30I mean people whine about it when my employees worried about something I'm going
- 37:34like like This isn't like charity here.
- 37:38I'm like yeah work for me. I pay you right to do a job You should not
- 37:44want anything bad to happen to me because if I croak or someone shoots me Then
- 37:49you don't have a job anymore but honestly You're a really good example of the
- 37:53point that you're making actually right now because you start as a investigative
- 37:57journalist on TV you become significant enough in that profession to be, you
- 38:01know, my wife is now impressed with the amount of people who know your name.
- 38:07I know, I know in Houston you are, you're very big.
- 38:10We've been in Houston. I used to go to Cozumel.
- 38:13I apologize. People would see me there.
- 38:15I apologize. I don't mean just in Houston.
- 38:16I mean that our experience is that here, like I went to a church event.
- 38:20I joined the Knights of Columbus, which I've never been a part of before.
- 38:24And I went to a church event the other day.
- 38:26Are you the youngest member? I was the youngest person at the thing I was at yeah
- 38:30I was I was significantly younger than a lot of the other guys and Knights of
- 38:32Columbus I don't know we were walking out of church a couple weeks ago and my
- 38:35wife was like you're bored on weekends I want you to go do a thing go be a part
- 38:39of Knights of Columbus Yeah, and essentially I just volunteer to like move tables
- 38:43I one of the guys was telling me that all that job is is I go to church before
- 38:47church and I set up tables That's really what I'm doing And I think some Knights
- 38:52of Columbus probably do a lot more and I'm not saying ours doesn't I've only been
- 38:55a part of it week. But anyway, my wife was was pleasantly enjoying that anyone
- 39:01she mentioned that the co host of my radio show was Wayne Del Tofino to was like,
- 39:04Oh, wow, Wayne Del Tofino, like they didn't know who I was.
- 39:07Nobody gave a crap about some dude standing next to a move in a table.
- 39:10But like, Whoa, Wayne Del Tofino is it.
- 39:13And so what I mean by this is you created that success from years of hard work.
- 39:17And it's gotten to a point where now you created a business that employs people,
- 39:21you're literally an example of why an entrepreneur needs to be someone who
- 39:25creates a business here in the United States and then benefits from it.
- 39:29The good idea, whatever the thing is, your reputation, it's what allows us to
- 39:33inevitably have companies that make people money.
- 39:36It's why our country does have a lot of people that live, you know, good lives
- 39:40compared to other places. Look, we have to have a country that gives tax breaks
- 39:43to people to get married, to have kids, to reward marriage, to reward family.
- 39:50That's where we should be our government policy.
- 39:53We need to reward people who care about the way our
- 39:59country works. And I just, like I
- 40:05said, I only get nervous because, and I just don't have a feel for this election.
- 40:10I mean, it sounds like it's going to be ugly.
- 40:12I know. Seems like it could be.
- 40:13I know the three amigos were talking about it looking really ugly in Harris
- 40:17County. But yeah. So look, we're going to elect Letitia Plummer as Harris County
- 40:21judge. Does anybody know who the hell she is?
- 40:24Not much. Does anyone know about her history, her business history,
- 40:29this fraud allegations, there were lawsuits and all kinds of stuff?
- 40:34Does anyone know that? She was accused of stealing money from patients and stuff.
- 40:39She was accused of all kinds of crazy things in the world of her dental practice.
- 40:43I don't think anyone's done a critical story on Letitia Plummer.
- 40:48I think if you search Letitia Plummer critical stories, you won't find any.
- 40:54That's true. I mean, it's an absolute abdication of the media's responsibility
- 40:59to cover the campaign of the person who's going to be the chief executive of
- 41:04like a multi -billion dollar thing we've got going here.
- 41:09And the lack of coverage is people just vote DR.
- 41:14Well, she's a day I'm going to vote for her.
- 41:15She's a Muslim. I'm going to vote for her.
- 41:17She's black. I'm going to vote for her.
- 41:19She's green. She's polka dotted.
- 41:20Well, it is. It's really the vilification of the other side that has been the
- 41:24true thing because I still don't think that Conservatives even though we complain
- 41:28and and definitely You know raised warning flags in the world of what communism
- 41:33would look like in the United States if it becomes a thing I still don't think we
- 41:37vilify the people that vote on the left as much as they vilify us and There there
- 41:41are a lot of people who simply do that that way you shake your head.
- 41:44Maybe you don't agree I don't know Yeah But a lot of the left believes that the
- 41:48voters on the right are horrible people Like I get a bunch of comments on social
- 41:52media from the videos I post like someone saying I'm a racist or I'm a sexist and
- 41:56it has nothing to do with that stuff.
- 41:57They're just assuming it Oh, yeah, look I would call all those things sure and I
- 42:02enjoy it I mean, it's why not. Yes, why not?
- 42:04I know along the way. I do a story the guy's black.
- 42:07Sorry is what it is, right? Yeah, I didn't go find him because he was black.
- 42:11I found I I went searching through my directory of public officials when I said
- 42:15let's get the black guys Right.
- 42:19No. Yeah, you're right. It's an abdication of duty though.
- 42:21A lot of media is failing us. All right, that's the whole show I you heard us.
- 42:25Yeah, you heard us on air off air Wayne took very few smoke breaks because he was
- 42:30you know Dedicated to the show.
- 42:32Look I've been ripping my mouse pad because I'm so stressed You gotta go.
- 42:36I gotta go. We got to get out of here.
- 42:37We're back tomorrow probably normal Although actually I think Wayne is on special
- 42:41assignment tomorrow. Yeah, he's not is that yeah, he's not gonna be here.
- 42:44I'm probably gonna be here Wednesday.
- 42:46That's it for today for the mob guys.
- 42:47Thank you for joining us KSEV radio 700 am voice.
- 42:51Vote, vote, vote, smart people vote.
