- 1:02Speaker 5: pantsless Aaron.
- 1:03Speaker 6: Put some pants on.
- 1:05Speaker 5: Yeah, the trick or treat is that Aaron has no
- 1:08Speaker 5: pants on.
- 1:08Speaker 7: Oh.
- 1:10Speaker 6: Is that a Snickers bar?
- 1:13Speaker 5: Are you happy to see me? If you're another region.
- 1:17Speaker 7: It's fun size, that's for sure. That's a payday.
- 1:19Speaker 4: Wow.
- 1:24Speaker 5: Well, happy Halloween, guys. You know what's scary? Making fun
- 1:28Speaker 5: of our male friend's genitalia. He just farted it. What
- 1:33Speaker 5: else is scary is that the Golden Girls never had
- 1:35Speaker 5: a Halloween episode. That's a travesty. We are spooky, spooky gals,
- 1:42Speaker 5: and we love Halloween stuff.
- 1:44Speaker 2: Love it!
- 1:46Speaker 5: As such, well, and Aaron's here because we like him.
- 1:48Speaker 6: Aaron's the spookiest of gals.
- 1:51Speaker 5: We invited a boy to our girls' Halloween party.
- 1:54Speaker 6: You better feel special, goddammit.
- 1:55Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:56Speaker 7: Because the scariest thing to any group of women is
- 1:59Speaker 7: a man.
- 2:01Speaker 2: Wow. Wow.
- 2:06Speaker 5: Someone write that down as a clip.
- 2:08Speaker 7: Tell me you wouldn't take the bear.
- 2:11Speaker 5: I did.
- 2:12Speaker 3: Oh.
- 2:13Speaker 2: He's married to a bear.
- 2:16Speaker 5: Honestly... so she taught him english fantastic yeah yeah that's
- 2:23Speaker 5: brilliant that's amazing you know we have a we have
- 2:26Speaker 5: kind of like a bear cub that uh also belongs
- 2:30Speaker 5: to us and james because james oh yeah in in
- 2:33Speaker 5: the in the community is considered a bear cub because
- 2:36Speaker 5: he's all cute but he's still kind of like rough
- 2:39Speaker 5: and tumble uh a shout out to james by the
- 2:43Speaker 5: way we just want to say hi to you our
- 2:44Speaker 5: other spooky friend who can't be with us because he
- 2:47Speaker 5: literally does not stop working in the month of october
- 2:50Speaker 5: yeah um i literally just saw him as the tin
- 2:53Speaker 5: man the other day and some social media stuff and
- 2:55Speaker 5: i was like oh my god it's it's the tin
- 2:58Speaker 5: man and then later i saw him with his like
- 3:01Speaker 5: spooky stilt stuff and he was with This gal, Rachel,
- 3:06Speaker 5: that I used to do that dinner or the mystery
- 3:09Speaker 5: theater up here with, with my dad. My dad still does.
- 3:14Speaker 5: But I was like, no, this is just work for
- 3:17Speaker 5: a stipend. Wrangling drunk adults is not theater.
- 3:21Speaker 6: Your dad may need to be on the mystery dinner episode.
- 3:25Speaker 5: I don't know because we have promised that to Mr.
- 3:28Speaker 5: Aaron Randolph.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Oh, okay.
- 3:30Speaker 6: Never mind.
- 3:31Speaker 5: But maybe Tom and Aaron could meet. Who knows? Who knows? No, no, no.
- 3:35Speaker 6: If we got someone interested, that's, that's great.
- 3:37Speaker 5: No, I, I, I, every time we go to book
- 3:42Speaker 5: a new set of guests, I pull it up and
- 3:43Speaker 5: I'm like, okay, not yet. I like, all I think
- 3:47Speaker 5: about is when that episode is. So I don't let
- 3:50Speaker 5: Aaron Randolph down because he asked us.
- 3:52Speaker 2: Oh, you're dying for that one.
- 3:53Speaker 5: The first episode he was ever on with us for Stan.
- 3:57Speaker 5: And he was like, mystery one. And I really want
- 4:00Speaker 5: to come back for it. And so, For three years now, two,
- 4:04Speaker 5: three years, however long we've been doing this, I'm like,
- 4:07Speaker 5: murder mystery, murder mystery, murder mystery. Just like every time.
- 4:13Speaker 1: Forget.
- 4:13Speaker 5: Yeah. Speaking of disappointments, this is my first time creating
- 4:19Speaker 5: this variety type podcast. So everybody bear with this process.
- 4:24Speaker 2: Oh, I hope it flops hard.
- 4:25Speaker 6: That makes it funnier.
- 4:27Speaker 7: Great. Thanks.
- 4:31Speaker 3: Thanks.
- 4:31Speaker 1: Wow, you guys are the best.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Big floppy horse cock.
- 4:36Speaker 1: Horse cock.
- 4:36Speaker 2: That's right. Or no, listen to Blood on the Clocktower.
- 4:43Speaker 5: Wow, on that note. All right, so we're going to
- 4:46Speaker 5: kick things off. I'm going to share this next thing.
- 4:50Speaker 5: I don't know that we'll be able to play the
- 4:53Speaker 5: whole sound clip in the episode, but I do want
- 4:56Speaker 5: to let you guys see this i thought this was
- 4:59Speaker 5: the best way to start off our hodgepodge of a
- 5:04Speaker 5: golden girls halloween special this is a tiktok and uh
- 5:09Speaker 5: i think he's also on insta creator luke mcquillan and
- 5:15Speaker 5: he does these incredible impressions and so we'll be right
- 5:19Speaker 5: back yeah hang on.
- 5:35Speaker 4: Oh my god, Erin just shared an amazing TikTok.
- 5:38Speaker 1: Welcome back.
- 5:39Speaker 5: Alright, so my next thing I stumbled across, because you
- 5:43Speaker 5: know that I love a good Reddit.
- 5:46Speaker 8: Sure.
- 5:46Speaker 2: Who doesn't?
- 5:48Speaker 5: So I was on Reddit the other day and.
- 5:51Speaker 2: Oh god, it's the toilet paper dress.
- 5:53Speaker 5: This article came up about... these series finale and some
- 5:58Speaker 5: outfit things that were up for auction essentially and i
- 6:02Speaker 5: was like wow that's rad and then i found a
- 6:06Speaker 5: further post let me get rid of this guy and
- 6:09Speaker 5: this guy.
- 6:09Speaker 4: There was also the sunny and share outfit yes yes
- 6:14Speaker 4: then i found this gentleman's name is jeffrey kardashian i
- 6:18Speaker 4: will include these in our post so that our listeners
- 6:20Speaker 4: can see what we're looking at fantastic But he.
- 6:24Speaker 5: Is literally just Jeffrey Kardashian on Insta. Now, there haven't
- 6:30Speaker 5: been a ton of active posts, but he has won
- 6:33Speaker 5: these clothes as well as others. And you can see
- 6:36Speaker 5: in this picture, he's also got Blanche's wallpaper.
- 6:39Speaker 2: I love that.
- 6:41Speaker 5: In the entire room where he has all of this memorabilia,
- 6:45Speaker 5: he has one of the very expensive copies of Sofia's purse. Anyway,
- 6:50Speaker 5: I just wanted to share this main one because we
- 6:51Speaker 5: also see the other outfit that's in this picture that
- 6:54Speaker 5: we're sharing is one that is in the opening.
- 6:58Speaker 2: Oh, yeah. They even got the photo of it.
- 7:01Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 7:02Speaker 5: So this guy has one of the larger personal collections
- 7:06Speaker 5: I've seen. And then also, I don't know if you
- 7:09Speaker 5: guys remember a few years back when these Spirit Halloween
- 7:12Speaker 5: costumes were all the rage. But this Jeffrey Kardashian person,
- 7:16Speaker 5: same guy, found this. or created this one for Frida Claxton.
- 7:21Speaker 6: That has to be homemade.
- 7:23Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 7:23Speaker 6: No way they would have that.
- 7:25Speaker 5: Well, no, but this was like a, this was a
- 7:28Speaker 5: meme thing. Like, I don't know what, five years ago,
- 7:30Speaker 5: maybe that people were just coming up with the spirit
- 7:33Speaker 5: Halloween costumes. But I want to say, so Frida Claxton,
- 7:36Speaker 5: for those of you who don't remember, is the woman
- 7:38Speaker 5: who died. uh, because Rose was mean to her and
- 7:43Speaker 5: her costume includes bad attitude, prune Danish and binoculars because
- 7:50Speaker 5: she was watching, uh, Blanche have sex through the window
- 7:54Speaker 5: of the home. Yes.
- 7:55Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 7:56Speaker 5: And then it says pine box earn and great Dean
- 7:59Speaker 5: sold separately. So they've even included an homage to the
- 8:03Speaker 5: great day and peeing on the tree and Frida's yard. Um, Anyway,
- 8:08Speaker 5: so check out Jeffrey Kardashian if you guys want. I
- 8:10Speaker 5: have reached out to him. He's not super active on there.
- 8:13Speaker 5: I don't know that we're going to get a response,
- 8:15Speaker 5: but I have asked him to come on the show
- 8:18Speaker 5: and talk about the costume. So I'm going to keep
- 8:20Speaker 5: trying to get a hold of him through other avenues
- 8:22Speaker 5: as well. But I think hearing how he organically, he
- 8:25Speaker 5: has signed scripts and all kinds of cool memorabilia all
- 8:29Speaker 5: over his home. So I do think he would be
- 8:30Speaker 5: someone that would be fun to have on and quite a,
- 8:33Speaker 5: wait for it, treat. But speaking of that, Let's get
- 8:37Speaker 5: back to business.
- 8:40Speaker 6: It's business time.
- 8:42Speaker 5: It's getting business time. All right. So I have asked
- 8:48Speaker 5: for y'all to please me. Yep. I heard it. I
- 8:55Speaker 5: heard it. It's my fault. So we're going to kick
- 8:58Speaker 5: it off. I want to do the I'm going to
- 9:00Speaker 5: call this segment show and tell. But I have asked
- 9:05Speaker 5: our three guests. very esteemed guests slash co-hosts to provide
- 9:11Speaker 5: me an item that you would find in Sophia's purse
- 9:16Speaker 5: or potentially her lucky bingo kit. And in no particular order,
- 9:23Speaker 5: who does anyone want to go first? Are they really
- 9:26Speaker 5: proud of what they have brought me today?
- 9:29Speaker 7: I'm not proud of anything I've done today.
- 9:33Speaker 5: So do you want to go first to get it
- 9:35Speaker 5: over with?
- 9:36Speaker 7: Sure, let's go.
- 9:36Speaker 1: Oh, my gosh.
- 9:38Speaker 7: All right.
- 9:39Speaker 2: It's little Aaron Randolph.
- 9:41Speaker 5: So, Mr. Aaron Randolph, explain.
- 9:43Speaker 7: My first thought was this tube of Burt's Bees, hard
- 9:50Speaker 7: ice for you, watermelon flavored chapstick.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Okay.
- 9:56Speaker 7: Because it was just about the one thing in my
- 9:59Speaker 7: home that I felt sophisticated might actually have in there.
- 10:02Speaker 7: But then I thought, what would Sophia have in her
- 10:04Speaker 7: purse for comedic reasons? And that's when I remembered.
- 10:08Speaker 5: Oh, I'm so excited. I'm so excited.
- 10:10Speaker 7: I had this banana holder. And I just figured... yeah
- 10:22Speaker 7: yeah uh i would just love for just just one
- 10:27Speaker 7: day sophia to pull this out of her purse and
- 10:30Speaker 7: for for dorothy to go ma what do you got
- 10:33Speaker 7: that in there for and she goes well this is
- 10:35Speaker 7: the only thing i carry in my purse that's all
- 10:38Speaker 7: she's ever had in there it's all she's ever had
- 10:41Speaker 7: in there.
- 10:41Speaker 5: Okay All right, and because this was sort of a
- 10:44Speaker 5: Taskmaster-style task, I do applaud that, in fact, on an
- 10:50Speaker 5: episode of Taskmaster, someone did bring Greg a banana holder once.
- 10:54Speaker 5: So I applaud the tangential relation. But okay, so banana
- 10:58Speaker 5: holder and Sophia's purse. All right. Thank you, Erin. So
- 11:02Speaker 5: at this point, I think, why don't we just go
- 11:03Speaker 5: alphabetical or counterclockwise for me? So we're going to go
- 11:07Speaker 5: Gina next.
- 11:09Speaker 3: Okay.
- 11:09Speaker 2: Okay.
- 11:11Speaker 5: Kristen's an overachiever. We might be saving the best for last.
- 11:16Speaker 4: I thought when they moved out of their Miami home
- 11:22Speaker 4: and went to the Golden Palace, Sophia would have taken
- 11:25Speaker 4: a souvenir of one of her roommates.
- 11:27Speaker 5: Since she couldn't take her daughter, you mean?
- 11:29Speaker 2: Right, exactly.
- 11:31Speaker 6: She'd want somebody to cuddle with at night. So I
- 11:33Speaker 6: thought she would have taken Fernando.
- 11:35Speaker 4: Which is a teddy bear I cut the ear off of.
- 11:40Speaker 5: Fuck, that is strong. That is so strong.
- 11:45Speaker 9: Okay.
- 11:45Speaker 5: All right.
- 11:46Speaker 7: Shit.
- 11:47Speaker 5: Sorry, Kristen. I made this harder for you, possibly.
- 11:50Speaker 7: It's okay.
- 11:50Speaker 5: So Gina literally brought me Fernando, the one-eared teddy bear.
- 11:57Speaker 6: Say Fernando.
- 11:58Speaker 5: Now, if I ship you your ghost ornaments I made you,
- 12:01Speaker 5: are you going to ship me Fernando? I'm just kidding.
- 12:05Speaker 2: If you want him.
- 12:06Speaker 5: No, you don't get extra points for that. I'm just curious.
- 12:08Speaker 2: All right.
- 12:11Speaker 5: Well, shit. Kristen, it's your turn.
- 12:14Speaker 7: Okay.
- 12:15Speaker 3: So you said Sophia's purse or her bingo bag. My
- 12:19Speaker 3: first thought.
- 12:20Speaker 1: Was what lady in the late 80s.
- 12:22Speaker 3: Early 90s did not have a troll doll in her
- 12:26Speaker 3: bingo bag for good luck?
- 12:29Speaker 2: What do you got, like four or five there?
- 12:32Speaker 1: That's just some of them. I have several. Do you
- 12:34Speaker 1: bring them to bingo?
- 12:35Speaker 5: Several. Is that like a Mr.
- 12:38Speaker 2: Potato Head one? What the hell is that one?
- 12:39Speaker 5: Immediately disqualification for what is happening. Please bring back on screen.
- 12:46Speaker 5: What was the weird one?
- 12:50Speaker 1: This one is like a Mr. Potato Head?
- 12:52Speaker 5: No, absolutely not.
- 12:53Speaker 8: No.
- 12:54Speaker 5: I don't.
- 12:57Speaker 2: Like him.
- 12:58Speaker 7: Please stop.
- 12:59Speaker 6: I'm putting your extra eyes in your trunk.
- 13:02Speaker 7: Please stop.
- 13:03Speaker 5: On account of that one's eyes... I am prepared to
- 13:09Speaker 5: give a score.
- 13:10Speaker 1: Okay.
- 13:11Speaker 2: Yes, task mistress.
- 13:13Speaker 5: Now, is that the collection of Rust Troll dolls? Sorry,
- 13:15Speaker 5: just real quick before I finish the ranking. Would the
- 13:19Speaker 5: Rust Troll dolls all be in her purse? Or was
- 13:22Speaker 5: that initial just the first five you showed me? I'm
- 13:26Speaker 5: just curious.
- 13:26Speaker 3: It's initial. You usually have a bigger one, and then
- 13:29Speaker 3: they usually had a bunch of the little ones.
- 13:31Speaker 5: She says this like this is common practice. I don't know.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Have you never been to bingo?
- 13:36Speaker 3: Oh, we used to go to bingo, and the ladies
- 13:38Speaker 3: were little troll dolls.
- 13:40Speaker 7: She's not wrong.
- 13:41Speaker 5: Yeah, I believe you. And also your side story adds
- 13:45Speaker 5: no value to what I thought would be a knockout
- 13:48Speaker 5: of the park for me.
- 13:49Speaker 6: You're tough like Greg Davis.
- 13:50Speaker 4: Wow.
- 13:52Speaker 5: All right.
- 13:52Speaker 2: You'll get one point and thank me for it.
- 13:55Speaker 5: I'm going to give you two points because there were
- 13:57Speaker 5: two Rush Troll dolls. But I was apt to want
- 14:03Speaker 5: to give you one. I'm going to give Erin's banana holder,
- 14:06Speaker 5: which should have been in last place, two points. Only
- 14:12Speaker 5: because I'm penalizing Kristen's ugly troll. Please never show anyone
- 14:17Speaker 5: that potato troll again. It is really. I can still
- 14:20Speaker 5: see its face. The lighter's cool, yeah. Gina, I'm sorry,
- 14:25Speaker 5: you're getting five points right out the gate. Fucking Fernando.
- 14:28Speaker 5: She made a Fernando from her house, y'all. That is,
- 14:32Speaker 5: you maimed a teddy bear that you've cared enough with
- 14:37Speaker 5: to travel potentially across the United States and back. Yeah,
- 14:43Speaker 5: all right, so five points, Gina. So....
- 14:47Speaker 1: Don't worry.
- 14:48Speaker 5: There's a lot more points to go, but that was impressive. Yes.
- 14:53Speaker 5: All right. I just, that was amazing. Guys, you all really,
- 15:01Speaker 5: you did not phone it in. You creeped me out.
- 15:04Speaker 7: Really? I was trying so hard to phone it in.
- 15:07Speaker 5: I think if you had stuck with the chapstick, you
- 15:09Speaker 5: would have gotten zero points.
- 15:10Speaker 4: I was trying to come up with how I could
- 15:12Speaker 4: do chipped beef, because remember when she threw that in there?
- 15:16Speaker 1: Or clam sauce.
- 15:17Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 15:18Speaker 5: If someone had showed up with a jar of clam sauce, also,
- 15:21Speaker 5: immediate win. In fact, I did wear my sandwich shirt.
- 15:27Speaker 5: It's a witch on a beach. Because I wanted... It
- 15:31Speaker 5: was the closest thing I could think of to being
- 15:33Speaker 5: Halloween and Golden Girls on account of the bacon, lettuce,
- 15:37Speaker 5: and potato sandwich.
- 15:38Speaker 2: What do you got?
- 15:38Speaker 1: It's the Golden Ghouls.
- 15:41Speaker 5: Oh, shit.
- 15:42Speaker 1: Okay.
- 15:43Speaker 5: Okay. All right. Well, speaking of Golden Girls, I think
- 15:48Speaker 5: that maybe it's time to roll into the next thing here.
- 15:52Speaker 9: Excuse me.
- 15:54Speaker 7: Yes, Abby. Yes.
- 15:55Speaker 5: Excuse me. Oh, yes.
- 15:59Speaker 2: What's up?
- 16:00Speaker 9: Okay, it's time to play the next game.
- 16:02Speaker 6: Thank you, Abby.
- 16:04Speaker 2: Go keep Bea Arthur entertained.
- 16:05Speaker 5: Was that it? Yeah, I don't like you. You're giving
- 16:08Speaker 5: me a bath today. That's fair. All right. That's fair. Okay.
- 16:13Speaker 5: There might not be cheesecake guys. Yeah.
- 16:15Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 16:15Speaker 5: She got, she got a book.
- 16:16Speaker 6: She's not mad at us.
- 16:18Speaker 5: Oh, okay. Just, there will only be three cheesecakes, not four.
- 16:21Speaker 5: I see. All right.
- 16:23Speaker 1: That's cool.
- 16:23Speaker 5: That's cool. Well, so, because I love BFYCW and Sir
- 16:28Speaker 5: Aaron Randolph, we've knighted you now. You're welcome so much.
- 16:32Speaker 5: It's because of your, uh, acumen as a writer.
- 16:36Speaker 7: Carry on, please. Yes.
- 16:38Speaker 5: Um, I love your pitch me game that you do
- 16:44Speaker 5: on BFYT.
- 16:44Speaker 1: Oh yeah.
- 16:45Speaker 5: I also feel like out of everyone that's ever done that,
- 16:48Speaker 5: I'm pretty high in like the top list for my, uh,
- 16:52Speaker 5: freaky high day, Kevin Smith, uh, freaky Friday film idea.
- 16:57Speaker 7: Hell yeah. I remember that one. That was a lot
- 17:01Speaker 7: of fun.
- 17:02Speaker 5: That is my favorite game.
- 17:03Speaker 2: Who did he swap with?
- 17:06Speaker 5: He and Muse swapped. So Muse could not talk the
- 17:09Speaker 5: whole film.
- 17:11Speaker 2: And Kevin just gets to be himself.
- 17:12Speaker 5: And Kevin just babbled like an idiot. Yeah.
- 17:15Speaker 7: Oh, my God. I would kill to see that.
- 17:18Speaker 1: Right?
- 17:20Speaker 7: I would kill to see it.
- 17:21Speaker 5: Yeah. So on the heels of that one and only glory,
- 17:25Speaker 5: because that might have been the only episode I've ever
- 17:27Speaker 5: won of BFYDW, I would like you guys to take
- 17:32Speaker 5: that same valor, that same effort, and I have asked
- 17:35Speaker 5: you guys to pitch me the Golden Girls Halloween special
- 17:39Speaker 5: that never was. And I have, in fact, put no
- 17:41Speaker 5: limitations on these folks whatsoever. I don't care if these
- 17:46Speaker 5: gals are alive or not. I don't care what year
- 17:49Speaker 5: it is. Just entertain me. Do we want to keep
- 17:55Speaker 5: same game order? You want to flip it up?
- 17:57Speaker 7: Kristen, do you want to go first this time? No,
- 17:58Speaker 7: I will go last this time.
- 18:01Speaker 5: Oh, shit.
- 18:02Speaker 1: Mine's probably the worst, so I'll go first.
- 18:04Speaker 5: I don't know. I just feel like yours is going
- 18:08Speaker 5: to be very... Anyway, go ahead. I don't want to.
- 18:11Speaker 3: So for my Golden Girls Halloween episode, Rose has some
- 18:15Speaker 3: relative from St. Olaf who's passed away, and the urn
- 18:19Speaker 3: gets sent to her at the house. So she has
- 18:22Speaker 3: this urn sitting on the kitchen table, you know, and
- 18:25Speaker 3: all the ladies are like, what the hell is this?
- 18:27Speaker 3: And Sophia, of course, has to tell a story about
- 18:30Speaker 3: back in Sicily, how haunted urns are bad for the house.
- 18:36Speaker 3: So she gets it into the ladies heads that this
- 18:38Speaker 3: is a bad thing to have in the house. So
- 18:41Speaker 3: throughout the episode, little things happen that put the ladies
- 18:44Speaker 3: on edge. You know, a door will slam or something
- 18:47Speaker 3: gets knocked over. There's a gust of wind and they're like,
- 18:50Speaker 3: oh my gosh, this house is haunted. Eventually, of course,
- 18:55Speaker 3: they end up calling Stanley because what are they going
- 18:58Speaker 3: to do? And Stanley goes up into the attic or
- 19:02Speaker 3: crawl space to check things out. And of course, it's
- 19:04Speaker 3: just a loose air duct that's causing these issues. Ha ha,
- 19:08Speaker 3: hilarity ensues.
- 19:11Speaker 6: Does he say his catchphrase?
- 19:14Speaker 8: Of course.
- 19:15Speaker 6: Can you demonstrate that, Aaron?
- 19:17Speaker 3: And when he comes through the door to fix or
- 19:20Speaker 3: to find out what the problem is, he's wearing the
- 19:22Speaker 3: hat from The Exorcist.
- 19:26Speaker 1: Oh, okay.
- 19:27Speaker 5: I don't want to leave anything out. I like that.
- 19:30Speaker 5: Hat from... I could see that being an episode. Exorcist.
- 19:34Speaker 5: I feel like that would be the B-plot episode because
- 19:37Speaker 5: that's a little crazier that this haunted urn and But
- 19:41Speaker 5: I do like that. Okay. um i thought maybe you
- 19:44Speaker 5: were going to marguerite direction there for a second um
- 19:48Speaker 5: when you said stuff was happening that housekeeper anyway um.
- 19:52Speaker 4: The lady who cursed them yeah and then it was
- 19:55Speaker 4: like the guy had his own hemorrhoid And he was.
- 19:57Speaker 5: Like from Brooklyn or whatever.
- 19:59Speaker 2: Or Boyle or whatever he is.
- 20:00Speaker 5: All right. I have them all in the notes and
- 20:02Speaker 5: I do like that. I think that's fun. I was
- 20:05Speaker 5: going to say before you started, but I didn't want
- 20:07Speaker 5: to sway you. I did think it was going to
- 20:09Speaker 5: be pretty heavily Rose focused because you love her St.
- 20:12Speaker 5: Olaf stories and her crazy St. Olaf friends.
- 20:15Speaker 1: I really do.
- 20:16Speaker 5: Maybe Blanche could see Sven again or whatever his name was.
- 20:20Speaker 8: All right.
- 20:22Speaker 5: Gina, sorry for putting you in the middle again. You
- 20:25Speaker 5: are up because Aaron Randolph demanded to go last.
- 20:28Speaker 2: That's fine. He's our guest.
- 20:30Speaker 4: My episode is called She Who Controls the Spice Controls
- 20:34Speaker 4: the Senior Center.
- 20:35Speaker 7: We're starting strong.
- 20:39Speaker 4: The girls are introduced to pumpkin spice cheesecake. And they
- 20:43Speaker 4: just need to have one at their holiday party.
- 20:46Speaker 6: Halloween party. The bakery is all sold out the day
- 20:50Speaker 6: before Halloween.
- 20:52Speaker 4: Blanche decides she's going to flirt with the bakery owner
- 20:55Speaker 4: and charm him into giving them one that's already reserved.
- 20:59Speaker 7: Okay.
- 21:00Speaker 4: And Dorothy tries to track one down all over town,
- 21:02Speaker 4: but people, realizing she wants it, try to extort her
- 21:06Speaker 4: for high sums of money. And then the B plot
- 21:11Speaker 4: is Rose and Sophia are just going to try to
- 21:14Speaker 4: make their own pumpkin spice cheesecake with hilarious disaster.
- 21:19Speaker 6: And I said, some herring desserts thrown in.
- 21:23Speaker 5: Ooh.
- 21:25Speaker 1: The cold herring?
- 21:26Speaker 5: Yes, of course. Do any herrings get shown up at
- 21:30Speaker 5: a canyon? Or a canyon.
- 21:32Speaker 7: Nope.
- 21:33Speaker 5: Cannon is the word I meant. A canyon would be
- 21:36Speaker 5: less impressive. That's just someone throwing a fish up in
- 21:39Speaker 5: the air.
- 21:39Speaker 6: Okay.
- 21:43Speaker 5: All right. One follow-up question for you on yours.
- 21:46Speaker 7: Yes.
- 21:50Speaker 5: Can you give me the title of that again? Because
- 21:52Speaker 5: I did like that you gave it a title.
- 21:55Speaker 2: Oh, I based it.
- 21:56Speaker 4: They like to do puns and takeoffs, and this is
- 21:58Speaker 4: a takeoff of Dune. I said, she who controls the
- 22:01Speaker 4: spice controls the senior center. Because it's pumpkin spice.
- 22:08Speaker 8: Okay.
- 22:11Speaker 5: Go watch Dune, kids. God, that's a long title. Almost
- 22:14Speaker 5: negative points for the hand cramp I'm getting.
- 22:16Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a little clunky, huh?
- 22:19Speaker 5: But I do like it. I think it's funny. I'm
- 22:21Speaker 5: still writing it.
- 22:22Speaker 2: I had 24 hours to write this.
- 22:23Speaker 5: Alright, cool. Alright, last but never least. Mr. Aaron Randolph. Sir. Aaron. Sir. Aaron. Sorry,
- 22:36Speaker 5: I already forgot we knighted you earlier today. Sir Viscount
- 22:41Speaker 5: Duke Lord Sir.
- 22:44Speaker 7: Why, thank you. Now that I've been knighted, I wish
- 22:47Speaker 7: to be shown proper respect. Uh, my pitch is, uh, is, uh, it's,
- 22:52Speaker 7: it starts, uh, rather, uh, benign. Uh, the ladies are
- 22:56Speaker 7: traveling by car together, uh, on a day trip to Gainesville. Uh,
- 23:02Speaker 7: Sophia has wanted to see some friends and the rest
- 23:04Speaker 7: of the ladies have decided to come along. However, it's
- 23:07Speaker 7: very dark and very rainy and they very quickly realized
- 23:10Speaker 7: that they've lost their way to their bed and breakfast.
- 23:13Speaker 7: They pulled down a road that, that Rose thinks is
- 23:16Speaker 7: the right way. And they eventually come upon a house.
- 23:20Speaker 7: And to get an idea of this house, think the
- 23:23Speaker 7: mansion in Clue or the house from The Seventh Guest.
- 23:28Speaker 7: It's very foreboding. And Rose is very scared, but Blanche
- 23:35Speaker 7: calls her a scaredy cat or a chicken or makes
- 23:38Speaker 7: fun of her for some reason. Whereas Dorothy and Sophia
- 23:41Speaker 7: are both like, eh. Um, so they, they roll up
- 23:45Speaker 7: and they ring the doorbell and, you know, a very, very,
- 23:49Speaker 7: very old, uh, gentleman in a very fine suit, you know,
- 23:53Speaker 7: a butler who seems to be half dead already, uh,
- 23:56Speaker 7: answers the door. Uh, may I help you? She's like, sorry,
- 24:00Speaker 7: we're looking for our bed and breakfast. And he goes
- 24:04Speaker 7: right this way, please. Uh, and he leads them into
- 24:08Speaker 7: a large foyer, uh, And a very flamboyant, uh, man
- 24:15Speaker 7: in his, uh, fifties wearing a, like, uh, like a
- 24:20Speaker 7: purple suit, uh, is standing at the top of the stairs. Uh,
- 24:24Speaker 7: and he just waves an arm and he's like, welcome
- 24:28Speaker 7: to the dead and breakfast. And the girls are like, what?
- 24:32Speaker 7: And he's like, nevermind that let's move on. Um, yeah,
- 24:36Speaker 7: I hope you'll enjoy your stay. Uh, uh, Chateau, we'll
- 24:39Speaker 7: show you to your rooms. And please, I hope you'll
- 24:42Speaker 7: get along with our other guests. And in walks.
- 24:48Speaker 5: Yes.
- 24:50Speaker 7: And in walks a blonde man in an ascot, a
- 24:58Speaker 7: redhead in a purple dress, a bespectacled girl in an
- 25:03Speaker 7: orange sweater, and a slacker in a green t-shirt. And
- 25:08Speaker 7: they happen to have a great day with them. they
- 25:12Speaker 7: meet and they describe pleasantries but the butler chateau eventually
- 25:18Speaker 7: leads them to their rooms for the night however it's
- 25:20Speaker 7: not long before they're harassed by a ghost and it
- 25:24Speaker 7: scares the crap out of them and mayhem ensues people
- 25:28Speaker 7: start chasing people everywhere it gets to be a bit
- 25:31Speaker 7: bananas and the whole thing is eventually resolved when Sophia
- 25:36Speaker 7: gooses Rose causing her to accidentally knock over a tray
- 25:39Speaker 7: table over which the ghost then trips and falls. And
- 25:45Speaker 7: Fred is able to get a hold of the gentleman
- 25:48Speaker 7: and pulls him up and everyone's like, who is the
- 25:51Speaker 7: ghost that's been doing this? And they rip the head
- 25:53Speaker 7: off and it's Chateau the butler. And they're like, you?
- 25:59Speaker 7: I was expecting the gentleman who owned the house. Why
- 26:02Speaker 7: would you do these things? And he's like, curse it!
- 26:04Speaker 7: I would have been fine. I would have gotten away
- 26:06Speaker 7: with it if it weren't for these pesky old ladies.
- 26:10Speaker 7: And he gets carted off to jail, and they do
- 26:14Speaker 7: eventually enjoy the rest of their stay at the dead
- 26:17Speaker 7: B & B. And it's called Scooby Don't.
- 26:22Speaker 2: Can I ask a follow-up? Yes, you can.
- 26:25Speaker 5: Oh, please.
- 26:26Speaker 4: Is the man in the purple outfit that we meet,
- 26:29Speaker 4: can that be played by Vincent Price?
- 26:32Speaker 7: Oh my god, yes.
- 26:32Speaker 4: Yes.
- 26:33Speaker 5: 100%. He has to be.
- 26:33Speaker 7: Okay.
- 26:33Speaker 3: Okay.
- 26:37Speaker 7: The whole point was that you were supposed to believe
- 26:39Speaker 7: he's the one behind it, and nope, it's actually the butler.
- 26:42Speaker 2: Chateau.
- 26:44Speaker 7: Chateau.
- 26:46Speaker 1: And his brother, Chateau.
- 26:51Speaker 7: Chateau and his brother, Manor House.
- 26:55Speaker 6: Their sister, Latrine.
- 26:59Speaker 7: And his cousin, Lakeside Villa.
- 27:03Speaker 5: Oh, and their younger step-sibling, well, his name would be
- 27:11Speaker 5: Guest Cottage.
- 27:12Speaker 2: Carriage house.
- 27:18Speaker 5: All right.
- 27:18Speaker 8: Wow.
- 27:19Speaker 5: I just want to say, when you were talking about
- 27:21Speaker 5: this initially, I scrolled down at the bottom of my
- 27:24Speaker 5: page to keep it away from the text, not knowing
- 27:26Speaker 5: how long your pitch was going to be. I thought
- 27:31Speaker 5: I had room, and I wrote down, dead in breakfast.
- 27:34Speaker 5: And when you said dead in breakfast, my eyes lit up.
- 27:37Speaker 7: I was like, this is.
- 27:38Speaker 6: What I wanted it to be.
- 27:40Speaker 7: You said that thing.
- 27:41Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 27:44Speaker 5: These were strong entries, I gotta say.
- 27:46Speaker 6: I mean, we're going up against an actual writer who's published.
- 27:50Speaker 5: Yeah, so this was not fair at all. But that's cool.
- 27:56Speaker 7: But I feel like I cheated a little bit, because
- 27:58Speaker 7: I made it a crossover.
- 27:59Speaker 2: A double crossover.
- 28:02Speaker 7: The ladies stuck to their own guns, so.
- 28:05Speaker 6: Were those people just supposed to be the Scooby-Doo gang?
- 28:07Speaker 4: Because I also thought you were saying they were Clue
- 28:09Speaker 4: because of the purple and the orange and the green.
- 28:11Speaker 7: No, no, no, no. I wasn't trying to bring Clue.
- 28:13Speaker 7: I was using Clue as an example of what kind
- 28:17Speaker 7: of building we were looking at. There would be room
- 28:19Speaker 7: for shenanigans.
- 28:20Speaker 1: I got Rocky Horror vibes at first.
- 28:22Speaker 5: I was going to ask you if the car stopped
- 28:26Speaker 5: because it was frightened, and then you didn't. All right.
- 28:29Speaker 5: So I think, yeah, Erin, you screwed yourself out of
- 28:33Speaker 5: first place on this, definitely, by pointing out to me
- 28:36Speaker 5: that you did detract from the main girls by bringing
- 28:40Speaker 5: the Scooby-Doo gang in.
- 28:41Speaker 7: Okay. As it happens, I don't care.
- 28:47Speaker 5: Oh, I see.
- 28:47Speaker 6: Stand up for your art, Erin.
- 28:49Speaker 5: I see. This is what happens when we let you
- 28:53Speaker 5: play games. Okay, that's cool.
- 28:55Speaker 7: I'm knighted today. I don't care.
- 28:57Speaker 5: I'm knighted today. All right. So, Kristen, I'm sorry. This
- 29:01Speaker 5: is not my intent. Honestly, I thought you were going
- 29:03Speaker 5: to win the episode. No. So I'm going to go
- 29:06Speaker 5: ahead and excuse you.
- 29:07Speaker 7: But you're not going to win the episode.
- 29:08Speaker 1: No, I know I wasn't.
- 29:10Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 29:11Speaker 1: I can quiz. I can't be creative.
- 29:14Speaker 6: I don't often beat Kristen at things.
- 29:16Speaker 5: I like the haunted hern. The haunted hern. There's no
- 29:21Speaker 5: H in hern, guys. The hern.
- 29:26Speaker 7: It's the British pronunciation.
- 29:28Speaker 5: It's a British female pronunciation.
- 29:30Speaker 2: I like how she got Stanley in there, though. Kudos
- 29:33Speaker 2: for that.
- 29:35Speaker 5: So here's what I'm going to do. I'm going to
- 29:37Speaker 5: give Kristen five points for What was your episode title?
- 29:42Speaker 6: I don't know if she had one.
- 29:44Speaker 3: Golden girls halloween episode i did not have a title
- 29:48Speaker 3: i'm gonna give kristin four points four points for kristin
- 29:52Speaker 3: no title that's fine um no that's mean five points
- 29:57Speaker 3: i i liked the stanley angle so.
- 29:59Speaker 5: You lost that's there you go all right uh gina
- 30:03Speaker 5: i'm gonna give you uh 10 points because you gave
- 30:08Speaker 5: me a b plot which we all know is a
- 30:10Speaker 5: mandatory thing i.
- 30:12Speaker 6: Was thinking that when i wrote it aaron likes a
- 30:14Speaker 6: b Yeah.
- 30:15Speaker 5: All right. So 10 points to you. And then, Aaron,
- 30:20Speaker 5: I'm going to give you a solid six. No, seven points.
- 30:28Speaker 8: No.
- 30:28Speaker 6: Six, seven.
- 30:30Speaker 5: Six, seven. Yeah. Six point five points to Aaron.
- 30:35Speaker 8: Perfect.
- 30:36Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 30:37Speaker 8: OK.
- 30:38Speaker 5: Now I want to say it's still anyone's game because
- 30:42Speaker 5: we have our quiz. Oh, shit.
- 30:44Speaker 6: Here we go.
- 30:48Speaker 2: Well, I was winning.
- 30:50Speaker 5: Today because it's scary when you don't have a buzzer system.
- 30:56Speaker 5: We're going to go with whoever says their name first.
- 31:01Speaker 5: We're going old school.
- 31:02Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 31:05Speaker 5: Mostly because some of these you're going to look at
- 31:06Speaker 5: me like, the fuck are you asking us? But also
- 31:10Speaker 5: because let's just enjoy.
- 31:14Speaker 7: All right.
- 31:14Speaker 5: So what's my favorite number, y'all?
- 31:19Speaker 8: 13.
- 31:20Speaker 9: Wow.
- 31:21Speaker 5: I love the conviction of my best friends when I
- 31:23Speaker 5: ask them what my favorite number is. Yeah, it's 13.
- 31:27Speaker 5: Good job.
- 31:27Speaker 6: I was like 420.
- 31:28Speaker 1: Just like Taylor Swift.
- 31:32Speaker 5: Is that Taylor Swift's favorite number?
- 31:33Speaker 1: Yeah, because she was born on the 13th.
- 31:35Speaker 5: Oh, okay. I guess mine should be the 14th then. Anyway, look,
- 31:39Speaker 5: here's the deal. We're going to jump into these. 13 spooky... Oh.
- 31:45Speaker 2: That wasn't one of the questions.
- 31:49Speaker 5: Questions. No. There's 13 questions because it's spookier. So, question one.
- 31:57Speaker 5: When did Halloween become widely celebrated in the United States?
- 32:05Speaker 2: You want a year? A date?
- 32:07Speaker 5: Just like an approximate time.
- 32:09Speaker 9: Century?
- 32:10Speaker 5: I have a decade written down here, but if you
- 32:13Speaker 5: can give me, like, fuck yeah, if you want to
- 32:16Speaker 5: give me even the century at this point.
- 32:18Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 32:19Speaker 6: We got multiple choice?
- 32:20Speaker 2: Unless you guys know.
- 32:24Speaker 5: Kristen.
- 32:25Speaker 1: Go ahead, Kristen.
- 32:28Speaker 5: The 50s.
- 32:28Speaker 7: 1950s.
- 32:29Speaker 5: Okay. Alright.
- 32:32Speaker 7: Aaron?
- 32:33Speaker 5: Yeah, Aaron?
- 32:35Speaker 7: Sometime in the last 1,000 years.
- 32:39Speaker 6: You did say a century would be fine.
- 32:42Speaker 7: Technically, that's probably true. Probably.
- 32:47Speaker 5: Fine, Aaron gets the point.
- 32:51Speaker 1: Well done, sir.
- 32:51Speaker 6: Passmaster, he thought around the problem.
- 32:54Speaker 7: I browbeat her into bullshit.
- 32:57Speaker 5: What was it?
- 32:59Speaker 7: 1840s.
- 33:01Speaker 4: I was going to say 1900.
- 33:04Speaker 3: Now, Aaron, before you research that, did you know that
- 33:07Speaker 3: off the top of your head?
- 33:09Speaker 5: Actually, I thought it was like Victorian England. Turns out
- 33:18Speaker 5: I'm wrong. I also still can't really say the name
- 33:21Speaker 5: of one of the words in the quiz. Oh, I
- 33:24Speaker 5: can't wait for that. Okay, next question. Great job, everybody.
- 33:28Speaker 5: That was a solid showing up.
- 33:30Speaker 2: Great job.
- 33:32Speaker 5: In the Holiday Classic, it's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.
- 33:37Speaker 5: what character believes in the great pumpkin gina yes uh
- 33:42Speaker 5: linus yeah.
- 33:44Speaker 7: I love that i knew that and i.
- 33:47Speaker 5: Just you just sat here and stared at me i
- 33:50Speaker 5: was just thinking i was trying to find that so
- 33:52Speaker 5: i could show it to my nieces.
- 33:53Speaker 7: I realized i still didn't care.
- 33:56Speaker 5: Oh wow are you gonna be like this the whole
- 33:59Speaker 5: episode I'm a knight now. I'm making a trophy for
- 34:05Speaker 5: a one episode.
- 34:06Speaker 1: I can't wait to be a storyteller and make him squirm.
- 34:09Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 34:12Speaker 5: Here's the deal. Let's make a side.
- 34:14Speaker 7: I can't wait to squirm, honestly.
- 34:17Speaker 5: Here's the deal. I don't know how you can rig
- 34:19Speaker 5: the game, but if there's a way, make me evil
- 34:22Speaker 5: and I'll kill this fucker his first game out the gate.
- 34:24Speaker 7: You can't.
- 34:25Speaker 5: Night one. I'll just fucking kill him dead.
- 34:28Speaker 8: Damn it.
- 34:29Speaker 5: All right.
- 34:30Speaker 6: She can only do so much.
- 34:32Speaker 5: All right, it's fine. You're a knight because I made
- 34:35Speaker 5: you one. By the way, I'm not the Queen of England.
- 34:37Speaker 5: All right, next question. I can't wait for this one.
- 34:43Speaker 5: On average, how many seeds are there in a pumpkin?
- 34:49Speaker 5: Wish this was a video podcast for Gina's face alone.
- 34:54Speaker 2: Gina, 47.
- 34:59Speaker 5: You think there's only 47 seeds in a pumpkin?
- 35:01Speaker 1: What size pumpkin? What type of pumpkin?
- 35:05Speaker 7: Erin. She said average, so Erin.
- 35:07Speaker 8: Yes.
- 35:09Speaker 7: I'm going to say 700. Okay.
- 35:12Speaker 2: You do not scoop 700 out.
- 35:14Speaker 5: Anybody else?
- 35:15Speaker 1: Kristen.
- 35:16Speaker 9: Okay.
- 35:17Speaker 3: 200.
- 35:17Speaker 1: All right.
- 35:19Speaker 5: You know what? We're just going to call this one.
- 35:22Speaker 5: You're both about the same amount off. It is 47.
- 35:25Speaker 5: About 500 seats per average size pumpkin.
- 35:28Speaker 2: No way.
- 35:29Speaker 7: I'm actually 200 closer than she is.
- 35:32Speaker 5: Yeah, no, look, it's fine. We're going to give one
- 35:35Speaker 5: of you fucks the point. I was trying to build
- 35:37Speaker 5: some suspense.
- 35:38Speaker 6: Depends if you're doing prices right rules or not.
- 35:39Speaker 5: Yeah, god damn.
- 35:40Speaker 7: I was still under, Jesus.
- 35:42Speaker 2: No, 500?
- 35:43Speaker 5: You said 700, didn't you?
- 35:44Speaker 2: You said 700.
- 35:44Speaker 5: Oh, sorry.
- 35:44Speaker 7: In my head, I thought I said 400. My bad.
- 35:50Speaker 5: Okay, well, you know what?
- 35:52Speaker 7: I literally didn't care enough to remember my own answer.
- 35:56Speaker 5: Why did I invite you to this?
- 35:58Speaker 3: We used to bake pumpkin seeds, but my grandpa grew
- 36:01Speaker 3: the giant pumpkins that weighed hundreds of pounds.
- 36:05Speaker 7: That is a rose story if ever I've heard one.
- 36:08Speaker 5: I was going to give Abby the point.
- 36:09Speaker 6: I just can't believe there's over a hundred. I just
- 36:11Speaker 6: don't feel like you scoop that many out when you're crying.
- 36:14Speaker 7: Oh yeah, you scoop out tons.
- 36:16Speaker 5: I was going to give Abby that point, but what
- 36:18Speaker 5: I've decided to do instead is I'm going to give
- 36:21Speaker 5: Fernando that point. Because he lost his ear for the cause.
- 36:27Speaker 6: Thank you, Aunt Erin.
- 36:29Speaker 5: Yep, no problem.
- 36:30Speaker 9: That little Girl Scout tried to steal me.
- 36:33Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 36:33Speaker 1: All right.
- 36:34Speaker 5: Next question. What medieval English tradition inspired what we know
- 36:39Speaker 5: today as trick-or-treating? You guys are three of the smartest
- 36:46Speaker 5: people I know.
- 36:48Speaker 1: What medieval? Are you talking about pagan tradition or medieval?
- 36:53Speaker 5: Medieval English.
- 36:56Speaker 6: Gina.
- 36:59Speaker 7: I mean, I'm sorry. These are not commonly known things.
- 37:02Speaker 5: All right. Okay. All right. So.
- 37:05Speaker 6: I buzzed in Gina.
- 37:07Speaker 8: Okay.
- 37:07Speaker 5: We're just going to.
- 37:09Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 37:11Speaker 7: Wassailing. I mean.
- 37:15Speaker 2: Not buzz in twice before.
- 37:19Speaker 7: Him.
- 37:19Speaker 5: He wasn't really convinced. I wasn't convinced he had an answer.
- 37:23Speaker 5: Where am I? What's happening?
- 37:26Speaker 7: I said wassailing.
- 37:28Speaker 5: Okay, but that's wrong. So I'm going to give Abby
- 37:30Speaker 5: a point. Thank you. The answer, if you were wondering,
- 37:36Speaker 5: is souling. Wait, did you ring in, Gina?
- 37:40Speaker 2: I buzzed in twice before Aaron. Can no one hear me?
- 37:43Speaker 5: No, I did not hear you. That's why I was like,
- 37:47Speaker 5: did Aaron pose in twice? No, go ahead. Do you
- 37:50Speaker 5: know the answer? Pretend like you didn't hear me.
- 37:52Speaker 2: No, I didn't know that answer.
- 37:53Speaker 6: I was going to say, when the kids go around...
- 37:56Speaker 6: Can you hear me?
- 37:56Speaker 2: Am I breaking up?
- 37:57Speaker 7: I was going to say, you are quiet, so I
- 37:59Speaker 7: wonder if your gain is down so low that it's
- 38:02Speaker 7: not popping for you.
- 38:03Speaker 1: Okay.
- 38:05Speaker 5: Yeah, this is not like a fuck Gina over thing.
- 38:08Speaker 7: We legitimately couldn't hear you.
- 38:12Speaker 5: While Gina is playing with her audio, I would like
- 38:15Speaker 5: those of you who can see my background to please
- 38:17Speaker 5: see that I have a 1980s Miami at-home Halloween party
- 38:23Speaker 5: happening in my background.
- 38:25Speaker 2: Is that any better?
- 38:27Speaker 8: Yes.
- 38:28Speaker 6: Okay.
- 38:29Speaker 5: I think so.
- 38:30Speaker 4: I don't know what you were saying, Soling, but I
- 38:33Speaker 4: was going to say when the kids go around banging
- 38:35Speaker 4: on pots and pans asking for pennies.
- 38:38Speaker 5: No, so they would go door to door and they
- 38:41Speaker 5: would go souling, which then was what souling cakes were
- 38:46Speaker 5: that were handed out to the children. I didn't dig
- 38:49Speaker 5: much deeper. This was supposed to be a fun. Let's
- 38:52Speaker 5: learn Halloween facts.
- 38:54Speaker 7: Okay.
- 38:57Speaker 5: What city hosts the largest Halloween party in the United
- 39:00Speaker 5: States and very possibly the world?
- 39:04Speaker 1: Kristen.
- 39:04Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 39:05Speaker 1: I have no idea, but I'm going to guess Salem.
- 39:09Speaker 5: That's a really good guess. It is not correct, but
- 39:12Speaker 5: it was good.
- 39:14Speaker 7: Erin.
- 39:15Speaker 5: Yes.
- 39:16Speaker 7: I'm going to try New Orleans.
- 39:21Speaker 5: No.
- 39:21Speaker 7: Oh, man. I would think they would throw a killer Halloween.
- 39:25Speaker 5: I'm sure they do, but this is so big that
- 39:27Speaker 5: in some places it's referred to as the biggest in
- 39:30Speaker 5: the world versus the biggest in just the United States.
- 39:33Speaker 5: Anything from you, Gina? You want to gander a guess?
- 39:36Speaker 2: Las Vegas?
- 39:38Speaker 8: No.
- 39:38Speaker 5: Good guess, too. That also has a big presence. It's
- 39:41Speaker 5: actually New York City. It is the... Village Halloween Parade
- 39:47Speaker 5: is the largest parade. And they have these big marionette-type
- 39:51Speaker 5: things on sticks sometimes. Giant puppety things. They go all out.
- 39:56Speaker 5: It is huge. Abby, you get a second point.
- 40:01Speaker 9: Holy shit, this is amazing. I've never even.
- 40:05Speaker 5: Got an appointment before. Yeah, she has.
- 40:08Speaker 6: Yeah, she has.
- 40:10Speaker 3: Wow.
- 40:10Speaker 9: That's... Excuse me.
- 40:17Speaker 1: And we knew that.
- 40:21Speaker 5: Wow. Mom, could you do the next question? I don't
- 40:25Speaker 5: want to talk to Aunt Kristen now.
- 40:30Speaker 6: She's a dog. She'll forget in 12 seconds.
- 40:32Speaker 3: Wow.
- 40:33Speaker 9: Okay.
- 40:33Speaker 5: Well, in beautiful Des Moines, Iowa.
- 40:39Speaker 2: I've been there.
- 40:41Speaker 5: What trick-or-treating requirement makes Beggar's Night exclusive to this town. Well,
- 40:49Speaker 5: I mean, other people probably have Beggar's Night, but that's.
- 40:52Speaker 4: Okay, so it's what Halloween requirement or what trick-or-treating requirement?
- 40:57Speaker 5: What trick-or-treating requirement makes Beggar's Night in Des Moines, Iowa unique?
- 41:06Speaker 5: It's okay if you don't know. It's not a big deal.
- 41:09Speaker 6: Gina, they're not allowed to wear masks.
- 41:12Speaker 8: No. No.
- 41:15Speaker 5: Aaron looks like he has to poop. Anything from you, Kristen?
- 41:18Speaker 1: I have to bring an ear of corn.
- 41:22Speaker 5: No, but I wish that was it. So even though
- 41:24Speaker 5: that's not the right answer, automatic corn point for Kristen. Aaron? Yes,
- 41:31Speaker 5: that's your name, sir.
- 41:33Speaker 7: They have to go with their parents? I guess I
- 41:38Speaker 7: don't understand what Halloween requirement.
- 41:42Speaker 6: Trick-or-treating requirement.
- 41:44Speaker 7: Trick-or-treating requirement yeah or like what why would that make
- 41:48Speaker 7: this thing i don't understand this question and i'm remembering
- 41:54Speaker 7: that i don't.
- 41:54Speaker 4: Care next time i come on bfy tw i'm gonna
- 41:58Speaker 4: not care all.
- 41:59Speaker 5: Over yeah i am gonna i am gonna yeah shit
- 42:02Speaker 5: the bed next time you.
- 42:04Speaker 7: Like it I have never cared when you guys were
- 42:07Speaker 7: on BFYDW, so I don't know what's going on.
- 42:09Speaker 8: Oh, wow.
- 42:10Speaker 7: I don't know what you think that's going to change.
- 42:13Speaker 5: Ladies and gentlemen, let's thank Aaron Randolph for his last
- 42:17Speaker 5: appearance on Mom, Mom, and I. Look, here, the answer
- 42:21Speaker 5: is that in this town in Des Moines, the kids
- 42:26Speaker 5: have to tell a joke or perform a trick. from
- 42:30Speaker 5: the adults at the homes to get, like, you have
- 42:32Speaker 5: to do something. They don't just give you candy in
- 42:34Speaker 5: this town.
- 42:34Speaker 6: Oh, a trick for a treat.
- 42:36Speaker 5: That's why they call, that's why it beggars night.
- 42:39Speaker 7: You have to do a trick to get a treat.
- 42:40Speaker 5: Do a trick to get something. It's not just free candy.
- 42:44Speaker 5: All right, well, Kristen, you got the corn point. Abby,
- 42:48Speaker 5: you lost a point because you just shit a turd
- 42:50Speaker 5: out behind my chair. So Abby gets a negative one point.
- 42:55Speaker 5: And we'll move on to the next question. What product
- 43:01Speaker 5: is officially banned in Hollywood, California on Halloween?
- 43:06Speaker 7: Aaron?
- 43:11Speaker 5: Yes. Aaron?
- 43:14Speaker 7: Fake blood?
- 43:16Speaker 5: No. Gina? Yes.
- 43:19Speaker 7: In Hollywood, it would look pretty real.
- 43:22Speaker 6: Spray paint?
- 43:24Speaker 5: That's this close. If Kristen doesn't have a guess, that's right.
- 43:28Speaker 5: You get....
- 43:31Speaker 3: Film string yes.
- 43:35Speaker 5: It is school yep it is uh it's officially banned
- 43:42Speaker 5: um i have to say i've been to the uh
- 43:46Speaker 5: hollywood and west hollywood halloweens and the aftermath looks like
- 43:51Speaker 5: time square on new year's eve it is atrocious and
- 43:54Speaker 5: so i can see why with silly string having some
- 43:57Speaker 5: of that like chemical shit in it they probably didn't
- 43:59Speaker 5: want it stuck to people's cars and stuff but yeah
- 44:02Speaker 5: or the sewer drains and all that crap next question
- 44:08Speaker 5: in what state is it illegal to dress up as
- 44:11Speaker 5: a priest or a nun on halloween.
- 44:14Speaker 7: Erin yes utah.
- 44:19Speaker 6: No gina yes massachusetts.
- 44:25Speaker 7: No That's an interesting choice.
- 44:29Speaker 1: Nevada.
- 44:31Speaker 5: No, it's Alabama. Abby, I guess you get a point
- 44:36Speaker 5: even though you shit on the floor. Good job.
- 44:39Speaker 7: Take another point away.
- 44:41Speaker 5: Because she pooped on the floor?
- 44:42Speaker 7: Yeah, it's still there, isn't it?
- 44:44Speaker 5: Yeah, I can smell it. I can't pick it up.
- 44:47Speaker 5: That's what's scariest about this Halloween special to me now.
- 44:53Speaker 5: Negative point. Actually, Abby, you're back at zero now. Good job.
- 44:58Speaker 5: You did it. All right, let's move on. Just a
- 45:01Speaker 5: couple left here. What sweet fruit and tea bread containing
- 45:06Speaker 5: hidden trinkets is traditionally baked in Ireland for Halloween?
- 45:11Speaker 9: Hmm.
- 45:16Speaker 6: Well, it's not a king cake.
- 45:17Speaker 5: I love the quietness.
- 45:18Speaker 8: That's cool.
- 45:19Speaker 5: Should I just move on?
- 45:21Speaker 1: Tell us.
- 45:22Speaker 5: It is.
- 45:23Speaker 7: I'd like to know.
- 45:24Speaker 5: Barmbrack.
- 45:25Speaker 6: I've never heard of that.
- 45:27Speaker 5: B-A-R-M-B-R-A-C-K. I also had not heard of it, but I
- 45:31Speaker 5: found it fascinating.
- 45:32Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 45:33Speaker 5: All right. So no points for anyone.
- 45:35Speaker 1: Is it like a fruitcake?
- 45:38Speaker 5: Yeah, it's fruit and tea. So it's probably like a
- 45:41Speaker 5: tea infused fruitcake.
- 45:43Speaker 7: But didn't you also say there were trinkets baked into it?
- 45:46Speaker 5: Yeah, there's like, they put little, it's like a, you
- 45:49Speaker 5: know how like with a king's cake, there's like a
- 45:50Speaker 5: little baby and stuff in it. So it's kind of
- 45:52Speaker 5: like a king cake.
- 45:53Speaker 3: Melted plastic in my face.
- 45:55Speaker 1: What the fuck?
- 45:55Speaker 7: Who's baked up babies in their cakes?
- 45:57Speaker 2: They put it in after.
- 45:59Speaker 7: Oh, they put it in after.
- 46:01Speaker 6: Then whoever finds it is the king.
- 46:06Speaker 5: It's just dead babies shoved into bread all over Dread
- 46:09Speaker 5: Mardi Gras.
- 46:09Speaker 7: Ever since I met you guys, I've heard so much
- 46:12Speaker 7: about people eating babies, and I just can't take it anymore.
- 46:15Speaker 5: Well, look here, buddy. Cloaca haunts me, and it's your fault,
- 46:18Speaker 5: so we're even.
- 46:19Speaker 7: All right, next question. Well, this short-waist triangle fire haunts me,
- 46:24Speaker 7: and whose fault is that?
- 46:28Speaker 5: I mean, that's fair. That's fair. Yeah.
- 46:30Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 46:34Speaker 5: I recently listened to an episode speaking of things that
- 46:37Speaker 5: haunt Aaron and myself. I recently listened to a like
- 46:41Speaker 5: two ish hour sleep episode, like a sleep hypnosis episode
- 46:46Speaker 5: about the great molasses flood that if you think I
- 46:49Speaker 5: traumatized you by describing it, Aaron, this was like meant
- 46:55Speaker 5: to be slow, boring, but instead I couldn't fall asleep.
- 46:58Speaker 5: I was like, Just like my eyes are extra wide
- 47:01Speaker 5: in terror as I tried to nod off.
- 47:03Speaker 7: Yeah. No, thank you.
- 47:05Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 47:05Speaker 5: All right. Well, according to folklore, what will happen if
- 47:09Speaker 5: you wear your clothes inside out and walk backwards on Halloween?
- 47:17Speaker 7: Good fall on your ass.
- 47:20Speaker 1: Kristen, you'll travel to the other side.
- 47:22Speaker 5: I don't know what that even means, but I liked it.
- 47:26Speaker 5: I was going to give Aaron a pity point for
- 47:28Speaker 5: his answer, but travel to the other side seems really cool. So, Gina,
- 47:32Speaker 5: anything from you?
- 47:33Speaker 6: I was going to say die, but that sounds like
- 47:36Speaker 6: Kristen has it covered. Yeah.
- 47:39Speaker 7: I don't know if I should make you look stupid
- 47:41Speaker 7: and you'll probably fall over as my official answer, but
- 47:44Speaker 7: I'm going to say something stupid and say you'll have
- 47:47Speaker 7: a year of good luck.
- 47:49Speaker 5: I mean, you're the closest in concept that it wasn't
- 47:52Speaker 5: just like, nothing but.
- 47:55Speaker 7: No it was supposed to be something.
- 47:57Speaker 5: You'll see a witch at midnight oh um but i'm
- 48:01Speaker 5: gonna give kristin the point for whatever that was that
- 48:03Speaker 5: you said that amused me.
- 48:05Speaker 6: Go to the other side travel to the other side
- 48:08Speaker 6: yeah all.
- 48:09Speaker 5: Right next question who was the first first lady to
- 48:14Speaker 5: decorate the white house for halloween karen.
- 48:20Speaker 7: Yeah uh Dolly Madison. No.
- 48:26Speaker 5: But I applaud you for going back so far.
- 48:28Speaker 7: Thank you.
- 48:29Speaker 5: It was a risk.
- 48:31Speaker 7: I have a second guess, but I'll wait for the lady.
- 48:32Speaker 6: Gina.
- 48:33Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 48:36Speaker 2: Lady Bird Johnson.
- 48:38Speaker 8: No.
- 48:39Speaker 7: I do like that guess, though.
- 48:40Speaker 5: I like that guess, but it's not.
- 48:43Speaker 1: No fucking clue.
- 48:45Speaker 5: Perfect.
- 48:46Speaker 2: Guess the first lady.
- 48:48Speaker 7: Yeah, my second shot is Betty Ford.
- 48:50Speaker 4: Hmm.
- 48:52Speaker 5: No.
- 48:52Speaker 7: Just because she was so drunk. She's like, I'm just
- 48:54Speaker 7: going to decorate the place.
- 48:56Speaker 5: There's a ghost on the wall. It's Halloween.
- 48:59Speaker 6: Betty, it's Valentine's Day.
- 49:01Speaker 5: You guys want a drink?
- 49:04Speaker 7: This is Ford. This is an Arby's.
- 49:06Speaker 2: Betty, this isn't even the White House.
- 49:08Speaker 5: Give me a cherry tree bag. This is some scotch.
- 49:11Speaker 5: You're welcome.
- 49:12Speaker 6: Those are Easter eggs.
- 49:15Speaker 1: Mary Todd Lincoln.
- 49:17Speaker 5: This shot glass does not stand upright. Ma'am, that's an
- 49:21Speaker 5: Easter egg.
- 49:22Speaker 7: All right.
- 49:23Speaker 5: No, it was Mamie Eisenhower.
- 49:26Speaker 7: Why did Eisenhower come to mind?
- 49:28Speaker 2: I thought Mamie, but I thought Mamie Ford.
- 49:30Speaker 6: I was like, well, that's not the right name.
- 49:31Speaker 2: I was mixing them.
- 49:34Speaker 7: Well, I literally thought Eisenhower, but then I was like,
- 49:36Speaker 7: I don't remember Eisenhower's wife's name, so I think I'm
- 49:39Speaker 7: just going to make something up.
- 49:42Speaker 2: Mrs.
- 49:42Speaker 7: Eisenhower. I guess I should have said Mrs. Eisenhower. All right.
- 49:46Speaker 5: So two questions left here. Next up is one you're
- 49:49Speaker 5: going to watch me butcher the word if you can't
- 49:52Speaker 5: tell me what it is. Oh, this will be fun.
- 49:57Speaker 5: But what is having the fear of Halloween called? What
- 50:00Speaker 5: is that phobia called?
- 50:02Speaker 8: Oh. Hmm. No.
- 50:08Speaker 5: Well, I don't know.
- 50:12Speaker 2: Scared of pumpkin phobia. The guards are scary.
- 50:20Speaker 5: I'm scared of the pumpkins.
- 50:21Speaker 6: 31st of October phobia.
- 50:25Speaker 7: Okay.
- 50:27Speaker 5: Well, Gina gets a Uncle Angelo bonus point.
- 50:31Speaker 8: Yes.
- 50:32Speaker 5: Okay so i'll just i this so it's it's that
- 50:35Speaker 5: word you can't pronounce yeah i think it's uh i
- 50:38Speaker 5: think it's sawan but it's spelled yeah i always say.
- 50:45Speaker 6: It what is is that that's halloween and like latin
- 50:47Speaker 6: or something.
- 50:48Speaker 3: It's the pagan holiday of sawan that yeah is basically
- 50:53Speaker 3: halloween yeah which by the way are you a witch
- 50:56Speaker 3: uh no but i have a lot of stuff about
- 50:59Speaker 3: the that stuff yeah i find it fascinating.
- 51:02Speaker 6: Okay Learn about Samhain.
- 51:04Speaker 5: Well... Like sweet and Samhain? Not delicious. Actually, fun fact,
- 51:12Speaker 5: the Samhain Lake time of year, outside of, like, the
- 51:17Speaker 5: pagan celebration, but just the sort of what we would
- 51:21Speaker 5: call fall. In medieval times, it was a terrifying time
- 51:26Speaker 5: of year, because that's when you started counting what you had, like, grain-wise, and, like,
- 51:32Speaker 5: making sure that you were... Yeah, let's weatherproof our thatched roofs,
- 51:36Speaker 5: because that's a good way to keep weather out.
- 51:38Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 51:39Speaker 7: So.
- 51:43Speaker 1: We got four kids.
- 51:44Speaker 2: We got a couple to spare.
- 51:45Speaker 7: It's fine.
- 51:46Speaker 5: And that's called Death in Winter. All right. Final question.
- 51:51Speaker 5: So we know that Linus is a fan of the
- 51:53Speaker 5: Great Pumpkin. But before we carved pumpkins, what root vegetable
- 52:00Speaker 5: did the Irish and Scottish carve on Halloween?
- 52:03Speaker 8: Gina.
- 52:04Speaker 5: Yes, Gina.
- 52:05Speaker 2: I know this one.
- 52:06Speaker 5: Potatoes.
- 52:09Speaker 9: Oh.
- 52:09Speaker 2: Is that potatoes?
- 52:11Speaker 4: It's... Erin?
- 52:14Speaker 5: I've never been more sad it wasn't potatoes. Oh, it's
- 52:16Speaker 5: not potatoes? But it's not.
- 52:18Speaker 7: Erin? Is it a gourd?
- 52:21Speaker 5: No, it's not a gourd.
- 52:22Speaker 2: Oh, I know what it is.
- 52:24Speaker 5: Okay.
- 52:25Speaker 2: Can I go again?
- 52:26Speaker 7: You already said potatoes. I thought it was potatoes. Rhubarb.
- 52:30Speaker 2: Kristen, what do ogres have? Layers of.
- 52:34Speaker 1: Oh, onion?
- 52:35Speaker 5: No, it's not that either. Oh, shit.
- 52:36Speaker 7: No.
- 52:39Speaker 1: You didn't carve an onion.
- 52:42Speaker 5: What is it?
- 52:45Speaker 9: I did not poop again, but I didn't know the
- 52:48Speaker 9: answer to this.
- 52:50Speaker 2: Yes, what is it?
- 52:51Speaker 9: Mom often tells me I fell off this truck.
- 52:53Speaker 5: It's a turnip. Oh, turnips.
- 52:55Speaker 1: Damn it, I thought it was potatoes.
- 53:00Speaker 6: With a potato family, how could they spare any?
- 53:02Speaker 5: Should they leave? Honestly, they should have carved potatoes because
- 53:06Speaker 5: potatoes are a hell of a lot easier than a
- 53:08Speaker 5: turnip or a fucking pumpkin. They're softer.
- 53:12Speaker 7: Anyway.
- 53:12Speaker 1: All right.
- 53:13Speaker 5: Well, so I have to do a little math to
- 53:16Speaker 5: figure out who won this.
- 53:18Speaker 7: It's not me.
- 53:19Speaker 5: It's not me. Somehow.
- 53:23Speaker 7: We don't have to do math.
- 53:24Speaker 1: I think it was Aaron.
- 53:25Speaker 5: Somehow I'm pretty sure Abby did end up getting a point.
- 53:30Speaker 5: I also picked up the poop. just a second ago.
- 53:36Speaker 5: I grabbed a glove and a paper towel from my
- 53:40Speaker 5: craft stuff.
- 53:42Speaker 7: So we're good.
- 53:44Speaker 5: It's less scary here by the minute. So while I
- 53:47Speaker 5: do the tally, we're going to watch this thing that
- 53:49Speaker 5: will be linked in lieu of a real Golden Girls
- 53:53Speaker 5: Halloween special. And in spite of a tiny little bit
- 53:57Speaker 5: of spoiler content, I have found for y'all the Every
- 54:04Speaker 5: Golden Girls Costume Ever montage. We're going to toss that
- 54:08Speaker 5: on while I do the points. Then we're going to
- 54:09Speaker 5: watch our special Halloween treat, which I will intro, we'll leave,
- 54:13Speaker 5: and that link will also be in the episode info.
- 54:17Speaker 5: Here we go.
- 54:19Speaker 8: Hey, Jeff.
- 54:20Speaker 7: Yeah, Jeff?
- 54:21Speaker 8: Remember yesterday I was telling you how I wished I
- 54:23Speaker 8: could have seen one of Billy Joel's sold-out shows at
- 54:25Speaker 8: Madison Square Garden?
- 54:27Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 54:28Speaker 10: I said you should go see Taylor Swift instead. She's
- 54:30Speaker 10: the modern-day Billy Joel.
- 54:32Speaker 8: Well, today my phone said I should read an interview
- 54:34Speaker 8: with Billy Joel where he talks about both retirement and
- 54:37Speaker 8: Taylor Swift.
- 54:38Speaker 5: Oh, man.
- 54:39Speaker 10: It's always so creepy when that happens.
- 54:41Speaker 8: We should do a podcast about how our devices are
- 54:44Speaker 8: always listening to us.
- 54:45Speaker 10: We already do. It's called Suggested Articles.
- 54:48Speaker 8: A podcast?
- 54:49Speaker 10: We talk about how technology is always spying on us
- 54:51Speaker 10: and how those tech corporations are such big buttholes.
- 54:54Speaker 8: Dude, you can't say buttholes on a podcast promo.
- 54:57Speaker 10: Dude, we already did.
- 54:58Speaker 7: Twice.
- 54:59Speaker 8: Join us every other Monday on Suggested Articles, the podcast,
- 55:02Speaker 8: on your favorite podcast app, part of the Odd Pods
- 55:05Speaker 8: Media Network.
- 55:10Speaker 9: Oh, hi, everybody.
- 55:19Speaker 5: Welcome.
- 55:20Speaker 2: Welcome to, um, I don't know.
- 55:22Speaker 5: Abby, we're in the middle of the show already. Oh,
- 55:24Speaker 5: I fell asleep. Okay.
- 55:28Speaker 6: That was a great bit you showed us about costumes.
- 55:32Speaker 7: Right?
- 55:32Speaker 5: So that was fun. So for those of you listening
- 55:35Speaker 5: at home, enjoying this in your ear holes or on
- 55:39Speaker 5: your commute, whatever, in the link of this episode is
- 55:42Speaker 5: the YouTube link to that TV Land video. We just
- 55:45Speaker 5: watched the montage of every great costume in the entire series.
- 55:51Speaker 5: It's about, I think it's like 14 minutes long. A
- 55:55Speaker 5: lot of fun. A lot of good moments in there.
- 55:56Speaker 5: They kept some of the dialogue to keep it fun
- 55:58Speaker 5: and fresh. And so we did take a look at that.
- 56:01Speaker 5: But what I really brought you guys here today for
- 56:03Speaker 5: was in desperately searching for some Golden Girls Halloween themed content.
- 56:10Speaker 5: I knew there was not an episode, but I thought
- 56:12Speaker 5: maybe I'd find some assorted appearances of the ladies and
- 56:15Speaker 5: other things. And so I did not exactly find what
- 56:18Speaker 5: I hoped for, but I did stumble across the Paul
- 56:22Speaker 5: Lynde Halloween special. From 1976. Holy shit.
- 56:28Speaker 2: Betty's at least got to be in that.
- 56:29Speaker 5: Betty White is in it as Miss Halloween. And Margaret
- 56:35Speaker 5: Hamilton's in it, as well as a few other notable people.
- 56:38Speaker 2: That's the Wicked Witch, yeah?
- 56:40Speaker 5: Yeah. And the musical guest is a new up-and-coming band.
- 56:46Speaker 5: You might not have ever heard of them. It is Kiss.
- 56:49Speaker 5: We don't have to watch all of this. If you
- 56:51Speaker 5: guys get to the Kiss part and you want to
- 56:54Speaker 5: peace out, I get it. But I literally, I just
- 57:00Speaker 5: was going to clip out the Betty White bit to
- 57:02Speaker 5: show you guys. And then, I don't want to spoil it,
- 57:06Speaker 5: but as you know, Paul Lynn was in Bye Bye Birdie.
- 57:10Speaker 5: And so we are going to hear a version of
- 57:13Speaker 5: his song today. In this.
- 57:15Speaker 7: Nice.
- 57:16Speaker 5: Very special, special. So this is also in that link
- 57:21Speaker 5: or the description of the episode. And enjoy along with
- 57:26Speaker 5: us if you want. But from us, as we slip
- 57:30Speaker 5: into our Paul Lynn Halloween special, you guys should slip
- 57:34Speaker 5: into a sweet piece of cheesecake. Ain't that right, kid? Oh, yeah.
- 57:39Speaker 9: Today we have candy corn cheesecake. It's free colors and
- 57:44Speaker 9: it's available to everyone but my mom because the bath.
- 57:49Speaker 2: I guess.
- 57:51Speaker 5: All right.
- 57:51Speaker 7: I'll take her slice.
- 57:54Speaker 6: Did you announce our winner?
- 57:57Speaker 5: Oh, shit. You're right. I totally did not announce the winner.
- 58:01Speaker 5: I forgot we went away. That was a tally break.
- 58:04Speaker 5: That's right. We watched some stuff, but I did do
- 58:08Speaker 5: the tally. So here is the final score. Abby and
- 58:11Speaker 5: Fernando are tied in fourth place with one point each. Which,
- 58:16Speaker 5: by the way, Abby, do better. An inanimate object has
- 58:19Speaker 5: the same number of points as you. Then in third place,
- 58:24Speaker 5: we've got Aaron Randolph with 9.5 points on a count
- 58:31Speaker 5: he didn't. Yeah, sorry. Sir Aaron Randolph. I should never
- 58:34Speaker 5: have knighted you. See, me knighting you early at the
- 58:37Speaker 5: beginning of this episode took away any fucks you had
- 58:40Speaker 5: left to give because you're a knight now and you
- 58:42Speaker 5: don't care.
- 58:42Speaker 2: He doesn't even hear you anymore.
- 58:44Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 58:44Speaker 5: He's like, you peasant, shut up. All right. In second
- 58:48Speaker 5: place with a very, very solid 10 points, we have Kristen.
- 58:53Speaker 5: In first place with a shocking margin. with a shocking
- 59:04Speaker 5: margin of seven points. We have Gina at 17 total. points.
- 59:11Speaker 5: And she is our Halloween special episode winner.
- 59:15Speaker 4: To quote your co-host Stevie, y'all, let's go.
- 59:23Speaker 7: Accurate.
- 59:23Speaker 6: When it's just a power dive from a hierarchy.
- 59:27Speaker 5: Oh, what was that?
- 59:29Speaker 2: A power dive?
- 59:30Speaker 7: That was an accident.
- 59:31Speaker 8: Okay.
- 59:31Speaker 5: All right.
- 59:33Speaker 7: Well, enjoy. I was trying to respond to a message that, ironically,
- 59:38Speaker 7: Stevie gave me, but I accidentally pressed down on a
- 59:41Speaker 7: clip from QI.
- 59:42Speaker 6: That's cool.
- 59:45Speaker 5: That's cool.
- 59:46Speaker 9: Yeah, that's okay.
- 59:47Speaker 5: Don't worry, because remember, my mom tried to end the
- 59:49Speaker 5: episode early, so you're okay, Mr. Rand. Excuse me.
- 59:55Speaker 9: Sir Randolph Book Daddy.
- 59:57Speaker 6: Sir Randolph, where can they find you?
- 59:58Speaker 7: Thank you, Abby. Thank you very kindly.
- 1:00:00Speaker 5: LTD?
- 1:00:02Speaker 3: What?
- 1:00:03Speaker 5: Yeah, where can we find you, Mr. Randolph?
- 1:00:06Speaker 7: Um, you know, wherever fine donuts are sold.
- 1:00:10Speaker 5: Are you a policeman?
- 1:00:12Speaker 7: No, I just really like donuts. Yeah, you can check
- 1:00:16Speaker 7: me out at BFYTW Podcast. You can check out my
- 1:00:20Speaker 7: books wherever fine and less fine books are sold. You

- 1:00:35Speaker 7: is in all caps currently. Has to be. Because if
- 1:00:38Speaker 7: you do it lowercase, it won't work. Don't know why
- 1:00:42Speaker 7: that is. Still trying to figure that out. Web design
- 1:00:45Speaker 7: is fun, kids. But my website has recently been redesigned

- 1:01:26Speaker 9: Okay, but now go eat your cheesecake.
- 1:01:30Speaker 5: Yes, ma'am. Yes, ma'am.
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: All right, bye. Boo to you.
- 1:01:34Speaker 5: Stay spooky.
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: Even creeping it real.
- 1:01:40Speaker 7: Creeping it real. What the fuck?
- 1:01:53Speaker 3: Thank you.
