  Speaker 1: All right, well, let's get to the scriptures. This is
• 5:07
  Speaker 1: one of my favorite portions of scriptures where it describes
• 5:13
  Speaker 1: who Jesus truly is to us and what he has done.

  Speaker 1: You should do a study for yourself everything that Jesus
• 5:20
  Speaker 1: has done for us through our salvation, all of our benefits,
• 5:24
  Speaker 1: everything that we have in Christ. A lot of people
• 5:28
  Speaker 1: are gonna miss out, Like there's a lot of benefits
• 5:32
  Speaker 1: that we have, and a lot of people are going
• 5:35
  Speaker 1: to like living like their poppers, right, living like you know,
• 5:39
  Speaker 1: it's like having a million dollars, but you're still living
• 5:42
  Speaker 1: like you're poor because you don't know or you don't
• 5:46
  Speaker 1: realize what you truly have. Amen, Hallelujah, thank you Jesus.

  Speaker 1: So all right, let's dive right in. Now we're continuing

  Speaker 1: Paul's first recorded sermon in the Book of Acts that
• 6:09
  Speaker 1: he delivered it in the synagogue at Pasadean, Antioch, not
• 6:17
  Speaker 1: the antioc that we know. But you know, he's traveling
• 6:21
  Speaker 1: and he's out and so far in his sermon, these
• 6:25
  Speaker 1: are some of the four points that he's already made.
• 6:29
  Speaker 3: Right.

  Speaker 1: He talked about the history, the rich history of the
• 6:34
  Speaker 1: nation of Israel, beautiful history they have as far as
• 6:38
  Speaker 1: God hauling them out. They revealed Jesus as the promised Messiah,
• 6:47
  Speaker 1: that he fulfilled all prophecies. And God keeps his word,
• 6:51
  Speaker 1: He keeps his promises, Jesus as a messiah. He declared
• 6:57
  Speaker 1: the resurrection of Christ, which is the heart of the Gospel.

  Speaker 1: But no resurrection, there's no Christianity. Amen. And now he
• 7:09
  Speaker 1: has shown salvation comes through Christ and Christ alone. These
• 7:14
  Speaker 1: are the four points that he's already made in this
• 7:19
  Speaker 1: amazing sermon. And Man, I encourage all pastors and preachers

  Speaker 1: to break down the sermons of Paul to see how
• 7:30
  Speaker 1: he structured them so that we can follow the biblical pattern. Amen.

  Speaker 1: That's something that I'm gonna do myself. Now Paul moves

  Speaker 1: into the heart of the Gospel invitation right now, today's
• 7:48
  Speaker 1: title is Jesus brings forgiveness and freedom that the law
• 7:53
  Speaker 1: could never provide. Amen, there's a lot of people. They

  Speaker 1: still want to adhere to the law, but the law
• 8:03
  Speaker 1: cannot bring forgiveness and freedom, the two things that the
• 8:08
  Speaker 1: human heart is desperately crying out for or crying out
• 8:13
  Speaker 1: for forgiveness, and we cry out for freedom. So let's
• 8:19
  Speaker 1: go ahead and get into the word verse thirty four,
• 8:24
  Speaker 1: and that he raised him from the dead no more
• 8:30
  Speaker 1: to return to corruption. He has spoken, thus, I will

  Speaker 1: give you the sure mercies of David. Therefore, he also

  Speaker 1: But he whom God raised up, saw no corruption. Therefore,

  Speaker 1: let it be known to you, brethren, that through this
• 9:14
  Speaker 1: man is preached to you the forgiveness of sins, and

  Speaker 1: by him, everyone who believes is justified from all things
• 9:24
  Speaker 1: from which you could not be justified by the law.

  Speaker 1: Now that you need to highlight that you need to
• 9:31
  Speaker 1: memorize because a lot of occults and false religions. They

  Speaker 1: David died in his body decayed, but Jesus did not. Therefore,

  Speaker 1: these prophecies could not refer to David. They pointed towards
• 10:59
  Speaker 1: Christ and Christ himself. Right now, David was a great king,
• 11:04
  Speaker 1: but he stayed in the grave. He's still in the grave.
• 11:07
  Speaker 1: Jesus walked out of his grave. Every religious louder, every
• 11:14
  Speaker 1: religious leader's tomb is occupied, every one of their tombs.
• 11:22
  Speaker 1: There is still someone there, only Jesus, only his tomb
• 11:27
  Speaker 1: is empty. The resurrection proves that Jesus is the Messiah.
• 11:35
  Speaker 1: Jesus conquered death, and Jesus fulfills all of the prophecies. Hallelujah. Now,
• 11:44
  Speaker 1: if you're gonna choose a leader to follow, I would
• 11:48
  Speaker 1: follow the one who conquered death. If you can't conquer death,
• 11:52
  Speaker 1: if you can't get about the grave, we ain't got
• 11:55
  Speaker 1: nothing to talk about. Amen, Jesus is the Messiah. Hallelujah.

  Speaker 1: Now David versus Jesus in verse twenty six and thirty seven.
• 12:11
  Speaker 1: Now Paul reminds them, David served his generation and he died.
• 12:19
  Speaker 1: Jesus served all generations and he lives. So David only
• 12:26
  Speaker 1: served one generation and he was done. That was it.
• 12:29
  Speaker 1: Jesus is still serving every generation and he is still
• 12:36
  Speaker 1: alive working. Hallelujah. What an amazing king. Now David did
• 12:44
  Speaker 1: his assignment, but Jesus completes salvation. For everyone, serve your
• 12:52
  Speaker 1: generation well, but only Jesus saves generations. We need to
• 12:59
  Speaker 1: serve our with all that we have, with the spirit
• 13:04
  Speaker 1: of excellence, because once we're gone, we're gone. Amen, there
• 13:12
  Speaker 1: is no coming back. But we serve through Christ and
• 13:19
  Speaker 1: we advance his kingdom. Then the work will continue. Amen
• 13:26
  Speaker 1: forgiveness through Jesus. Now, Paul declares, through Jesus, forgiveness of
• 13:32
  Speaker 1: sins is proclaimed. Now this is massive right here. Forgiveness
• 13:41
  Speaker 1: isn't earned by religious effort. It is granted through faith
• 13:47
  Speaker 1: in Christ. We are granted forgiveness when we come to
• 13:52
  Speaker 1: God the correct way, through the price that was paid. Now,
• 13:59
  Speaker 1: let's compare this what religion. Religion tells us to try harder.
• 14:05
  Speaker 1: Jesus tells us to trust him. Forgiveness is not a
• 14:13
  Speaker 1: performance based situation. Is not based on your performance. It
• 14:20
  Speaker 1: is based on grace. We could never live a perfect
• 14:27
  Speaker 1: life without being empowered by the Holy Spirit. And I
• 14:33
  Speaker 1: pray that everyone, under the sound of my voice, that
• 14:36
  Speaker 1: you are developing a personal relationship with the Holy Spirit
• 14:41
  Speaker 1: because he is the only one. He was called to
• 14:43
  Speaker 1: walk us by the hand through this journey. Right now,
• 14:51
  Speaker 1: verse thirty nine, freedom the law could not give, right,
• 14:58
  Speaker 1: Paul says something radical right here, something that blew the
• 15:03
  Speaker 1: minds of every Jewish person that listened to them, because
• 15:08
  Speaker 1: all they knew was the law. All they knew was
• 15:11
  Speaker 1: the law of Moses. And Paul is telling them through Christ,
• 15:17
  Speaker 1: Jesus believers are justified from things the Law of Moses
• 15:22
  Speaker 1: could not feed them from right, and so it's amazing.
• 15:32
  Speaker 1: I mean, at one point, you can't blame the Jews
• 15:36
  Speaker 1: at first, right, because it's almost like somebody coming to
• 15:39
  Speaker 1: church and saying, Oh, this person is basically better than
• 15:47
  Speaker 1: can do for you, more than what the Church can do.
• 15:50
  Speaker 1: Because they went to the synagogue, they were taught by
• 15:53
  Speaker 1: the rabbis. They knew the story of Moses, but they
• 15:58
  Speaker 1: missed the Messiah. Now they should have looked into the
• 16:01
  Speaker 1: evidence and the proof that the Master Jesus fulfilled all
• 16:06
  Speaker 1: biblical prophecies so that they could put their trust in him.
• 16:12
  Speaker 1: But this blew their mind. Now, the Law exposes sin,
• 16:16
  Speaker 1: but cannot remove the guilt of it. Only Christ removes
• 16:21
  Speaker 1: condemnation from our lives. That's why the blood of Jesus
• 16:25
  Speaker 1: is so powerful. The enemy hates the blood of Christ
• 16:29
  Speaker 1: because he tries to condemn Us on a consistent basis,
• 16:34
  Speaker 1: But the blood silence him. The blood tells him the
• 16:39
  Speaker 1: price has been paid. You cannot condemn man. How beautiful
• 16:44
  Speaker 1: and how awesome our Savior is. Amen. Now the purpose
• 16:50
  Speaker 1: of the law, the law is like a mirror. It
• 16:54
  Speaker 1: shows dirt on your face, but it can't wash it off.

  Speaker 1: Jesus washes it away. Religion reveals guilt. Jesus removes guilt. Right,
• 17:11
  Speaker 1: these are all one liners. Right, we need to post
• 17:13
  Speaker 1: this to social media if you have Twitter or should
• 17:18
  Speaker 1: I say X or whatever. We should be posting these right,
• 17:23
  Speaker 1: hashtag his hot radio. Right, Jesus washes it away, Religion
• 17:29
  Speaker 1: reveals guilt. Jesus removes guilt. Now, some listeners probably gaffs
• 17:41
  Speaker 1: at hearing these things right, because Paul just said Moses
• 17:46
  Speaker 1: couldn't do what Jesus does, Like I said, you know,
• 17:53
  Speaker 1: they idolize the law of Moses. But verse forty and
• 18:02
  Speaker 1: forty one gives a warning. Paul ends with a warning
• 18:08
  Speaker 1: from have a cook. Do not ignore what God is doing,
• 18:15
  Speaker 1: or you will miss salvation. You'll miss it. Do not
• 18:21
  Speaker 1: miss the work of God. Hallelujah. Now Paul is just teaching,
• 18:34
  Speaker 1: but not only is he teaching, he is calling for
• 18:43
  Speaker 1: a decision. And that I be love it. When you
• 18:47
  Speaker 1: witness or teach the Word or have Bible study, you
• 18:51
  Speaker 1: should always call for people to make a decision like
• 18:55
  Speaker 1: right then and now, while the spirit of God is
• 18:59
  Speaker 1: working in them. Right, you either receive Christ or you
• 19:04
  Speaker 1: reject them. There's no middle ground. If you say no,
• 19:10
  Speaker 1: I'm gonna think about it for two weeks or no,
• 19:12
  Speaker 1: come back later. Later may never come. You know, we've
• 19:18
  Speaker 1: seen it happen so many times in the Word of God,
• 19:22
  Speaker 1: when Paul would witness to a ruler and the Holy
• 19:26
  Speaker 1: Spirit is working, you know, the Holy Spirit is working
• 19:29
  Speaker 1: on them, and then they'll say, come back later at
• 19:32
  Speaker 1: a more convenient time. Later is not promised. Amen. Now,
• 19:39
  Speaker 1: Paul message, it hits us today. Some people trust church
• 19:45
  Speaker 1: attendance for their salvation. Some trust in good works, some
• 19:52
  Speaker 1: trust in morality. They want to be moral and do
• 19:57
  Speaker 1: good things and live a moral life. But Paul says,

  Speaker 1: only Jesus justifies. So the real question is have you
• 20:08
  Speaker 1: trusted Jesus? Have you laid in His lap and just
• 20:16
  Speaker 1: rested in Christ and Christ alone? Have you accepted Christ
• 20:24
  Speaker 1: and are you developing a relationship with Him through the
• 20:30
  Speaker 1: Holy Spirit. That is the only way that we can
• 20:35
