Blind loyalty to the Capitalist system has been the policy of the United States since the beginning and accelerated starting with Reagan. That is how we got here. Despite the fact that most people agree that this situation and even the system are failing, there is a religious or addictive quality to the way people defend Capitalism. It kills productive discussion on how to change before it begins. How much more do we need to finally get some gaddamn solidarity??
