- 0:11Speaker 1: Hest the reform it.
- 0:15Speaker 2: Well.
- 0:16Speaker 1: Tonight Anthony Albanezer gets angry again trying to clear up
- 0:19Speaker 1: his negative gearing mess and exclusive one of the Palestinians
- 0:23Speaker 1: from terrorists around Gaza given a tourism visa by the
- 0:26Speaker 1: government goes to court. Plus ABC chairman Kim Williams embarrassed
- 0:31Speaker 1: this morning, just hours after claiming his ABC was against
- 0:34Speaker 1: Baas and for the truth.
- 0:37Speaker 3: The truth matters, and I mean really matters.
- 0:43Speaker 1: Wait you hear the whoppers the ABC told this morning.
- 0:46Speaker 1: Plenty more tonight, Bunnaby Joyce, the latest claimate hypocrites signed
- 0:49Speaker 1: up by the Teals and more. But first, the weakness
- 0:53Speaker 1: of the West, the treachery when there are two democracies
- 0:56Speaker 1: now fighting for the survival against terrorist armies and tyranny.
- 1:00Speaker 1: Let's start with the weakness of this Albanzi government and
- 1:04Speaker 1: foreign mister Penny Wong. Israel is now boeing the Hesbela
- 1:08Speaker 1: terrist army that's funded by Iran and it's taken over
- 1:11Speaker 1: a third of elevenon. Hesbela has had fired more than
- 1:14Speaker 1: eight thousand rockets and missiles at Israel since October seventy yesterday,
- 1:18Speaker 1: even named at missile at Tel Aviv. Israel has now
- 1:21Speaker 1: hit bank, assassinated Hesbela fighters, and it's trying to wipe
- 1:24Speaker 1: out Hesbela ammunition stores hidden in homes and push that
- 1:29Speaker 1: terror's army back from the Israeli border. But our foreign
- 1:34Speaker 1: minister says, stop it, bad Israel.
- 1:38Speaker 4: We condemn Hesbela's continued attacks on Israel. But I do
- 1:43Speaker 4: say again, Lebanese civilians cannot be made to pay the
- 1:46Speaker 4: price of defeating Hisbellah. The global community has made clear
- 1:50Speaker 4: that this destructive cycle must stop. What has happened in
- 1:54Speaker 4: recent days only makes an immediate ceasefire in Gaza even
- 1:58Speaker 4: more urgent. You have heard me say this before and
- 2:01Speaker 4: I say it again. Lebanon cannot become the next Gaza.
- 2:05Speaker 1: Same message now from the weak US President Joe Biden.
- 2:08Speaker 1: Let's have a cease fire now that Israel is defending itself.
- 2:13Speaker 5: Out of statement for twenty one day ceasefire along the
- 2:19Speaker 5: Ausrairly Lebanese border be able.
- 2:22Speaker 6: To generate significant support from Europe.
- 2:25Speaker 7: As well as the nations.
- 2:29Speaker 2: War not wide.
- 2:30Speaker 1: Let's have more diplomacy. These people say, not war. Will
- 2:34Speaker 1: you tell me how this diplomisey works? I mean, whileness
- 2:37Speaker 1: called for a year for Hamas to give back the
- 2:40Speaker 1: Jewish hostages it still holds in tunnels. It won't. So
- 2:44Speaker 1: what you're now going to do?
- 2:46Speaker 8: Well?
- 2:46Speaker 1: Hesbela, the United Nations had to deal with to keep
- 2:48Speaker 1: hesbel and its missiles right out of southern Lebanon, away
- 2:51Speaker 1: from Israel's border, right up to the tiny river. Well,
- 2:54Speaker 1: clearly that's failed, isn't it? And the UN did nothing
- 2:59Speaker 1: even when Hesbela attacked its peacekeepers in South Lebanon. How
- 3:03Speaker 1: did that diplomacy work? Seas fr now will just give
- 3:07Speaker 1: Hesbela breeding space to prepare its defenses and to live
- 3:10Speaker 1: to attack Israel another day. In effect, Wog is helping
- 3:14Speaker 1: Hezbolah now Asraeh wants to protect its people, its country,
- 3:18Speaker 1: but wong. In my opinion, she just wants to save
- 3:21Speaker 1: labor from Muslim voters in western Sydney. But there's another
- 3:25Speaker 1: portrayal here of Ukraine. Here's another democracy fighting for its life,
- 3:31Speaker 1: this time against the Russian invaders sent in two and
- 3:33Speaker 1: a half years ago by Russian dictate of Vladimir Putin,
- 3:36Speaker 1: who's deliberately bombing hospitals, railway stations, apartment blocks and now
- 3:41Speaker 1: power stations, trying to make Ukrainians freeze in the coming winter.
- 3:45Speaker 1: As Ukrainian President of vladimiit Zelenski told the other nations yesterday, as.
- 3:50Speaker 9: Of today, Russia has destroyed all our thermal power plants
- 3:55Speaker 9: and a large part of our hydroelectric capacity. This is
- 4:00Speaker 9: how Puttin is preparing for winter, hoping to torment millions
- 4:06Speaker 9: millions of Ukrainians, ordinary families. And if God forbid, Russia
- 4:13Speaker 9: causes a nuclear disaster at one one of our nuclear
- 4:17Speaker 9: power plants, radiation will not respect state borders and unfortunately
- 4:22Speaker 9: various nations could feel their devastating effects.
- 4:28Speaker 1: So what have we done to help?
- 4:30Speaker 8: Now?
- 4:30Speaker 1: Sure we have seen sam eight bushmasters great, but this
- 4:35Speaker 1: Albanizi government is also stripped and buried Taipan helicopters we
- 4:39Speaker 1: didn't need, literally buried them in the dirt rather than
- 4:43Speaker 1: given them to Ukraine. And in February Defense Minister Richard
- 4:46Speaker 1: Mousay the governor also wouldn't give Ukraine fifty nine Abrams tanks.
- 4:50Speaker 1: We don't need anymore. What's on the agenda, he said,
- 4:54Speaker 1: there's been such as think about that that Lisa Defense
- 4:57Speaker 1: Force yesterday I said, well it is now being considered.
- 5:00Speaker 1: When again is Ukraine is saying it needs them, it
- 5:04Speaker 1: wants them. But why is this decision even up to
- 5:07Speaker 1: the army. Where's the defensive minister. Where's the Prime minister
- 5:10Speaker 1: to say this must happen? Defending democracy is our business.
- 5:15Speaker 1: Peter Dutton at least gets it.
- 5:18Speaker 10: Look, there's just no doubt whatsoever we should be providing
- 5:22Speaker 10: more support to Ukraine. President Zelenski is a twenty first
- 5:27Speaker 10: century hero. He's a man who has stood up against
- 5:30Speaker 10: a murderous dictator in Vladimir Putin. Vladimir Putin is still
- 5:33Speaker 10: bombing residential areas, He's still killing women and children. And
- 5:37Speaker 10: that we wouldn't be standing with Ukraine in that fight
- 5:40Speaker 10: for humanity is beyond our comprehension. So I think the
- 5:43Speaker 10: Prime Minister needs to show some strength instead of the weakness.
- 5:47Speaker 1: Look, Australia is not going to be decisive in saving Ukraine,
- 5:53Speaker 1: but America that is so. Here again the weakness, or
- 5:57Speaker 1: in the case of Donald Trump, the treachery. Now President
- 6:01Speaker 1: Joe Biden is bad enough. He's refusing that Ukraine fire.
- 6:05Speaker 1: The missiles and the rockets has been given into Russia
- 6:08Speaker 1: over the border to hit Russia's ammunition dumps and troop
- 6:11Speaker 1: concentration save itself. But the frightening thing is that Biden
- 6:16Speaker 1: still may be the best friend that Ukraine's going to
- 6:19Speaker 1: get and look back Donald Trump over that giggling woke
- 6:24Speaker 1: one day Kamala Harris. But on one issue, I think
- 6:27Speaker 1: he is a menace. He's a danger. Profoundly wrong. Trump
- 6:32Speaker 1: has got in his head Joe Biden caused this war
- 6:35Speaker 1: in Ukraine, or at least he could pretend he did, and
- 6:38Speaker 1: that Bardener's wasted billions of American dollars by giving aid
- 6:43Speaker 1: to Ukraine, and Trump reckons he can win votes, particularly
- 6:47Speaker 1: from the lunar right far right, by attacking this war
- 6:51Speaker 1: and attacking Zelensky personally. He's threatened to cut off USA
- 6:56Speaker 1: to Ukraine, which would cripple that country's fight to defend itssel.
- 7:00Speaker 1: Zelenskin his speech to the UN yesterday didn't mention Trump
- 7:03Speaker 1: by name, but he did say this about China and
- 7:07Speaker 1: the crazy left Brazil, which both want, like Donald Trump,
- 7:12Speaker 1: to force a supposed piece deal on Ukraine where it
- 7:16Speaker 1: gives up more territory to Russia.
- 7:19Speaker 9: The question eriais what is the true interest? Everyone must
- 7:27Speaker 9: understand you will not boost your power at Ukraine's expense.
- 7:34Speaker 8: Now.
- 7:34Speaker 1: In response, Trump went on a frankly disgusting rant full
- 7:38Speaker 1: of lies at a rally yesterday, attacking Ukraine's president but
- 7:43Speaker 1: not Russia's dictator.
- 7:46Speaker 6: Nothing is standing, the crops are dying. We continue to
- 7:50Speaker 6: give billions of dollars to a man who refuses to
- 7:53Speaker 6: make a deal. Selenski, there was no deal that he
- 7:58Speaker 6: could have made that wouldn't have been better than the
- 8:02Speaker 6: situation you have right now. You have a country that
- 8:06Speaker 6: has been obliterated, not possible to be rebuilt. It'll take
- 8:11Speaker 6: hundreds of years to rebuild it. There's not enough money
- 8:14Speaker 6: to rebuild it. If the whole world got together, they're
- 8:18Speaker 6: are going to be satisfied until they send American kids
- 8:21Speaker 6: over to Ukraine.
- 8:24Speaker 1: Such lies obliterated. There is plenty still standing Ukraine. This
- 8:30Speaker 1: was by a tourist guide. This was filmed by a
- 8:32Speaker 1: tourist guide in the middle of its capital this month,
- 8:35Speaker 1: with thanks left there to remind people of the war.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Nor are the crops dying? And whatever he said, millions
- 8:42Speaker 1: havn't died. A million in total. Russian mostly have died,
- 8:46Speaker 1: and what's destroyed will be rebuilt. And there is no
- 8:49Speaker 1: deal that would satisfy pudin other than Ukraine's ultimate defeat
- 8:54Speaker 1: and Trump's biggest sly, no one, absolutely no one is
- 8:59Speaker 1: asking Americans and it soldiers to Ukraine. Why does Trump
- 9:03Speaker 1: lie like this about a war that Ronald Reagan would
- 9:07Speaker 1: have known instinctively demanded America do something to save the
- 9:12Speaker 1: democracy from tyranny. Why does our government not deed just
- 9:17Speaker 1: that little deeper to do something itself. Joining me is
- 9:25Speaker 1: General Jack Keene, who was Vice Chief of Staff of
- 9:28Speaker 1: the United States Army and a four star general. Now
- 9:32Speaker 1: he's chairman of the Institute for the Study of War.
- 9:36Speaker 1: General Keane, thanks for your time. Looking. You've got so
- 9:39Speaker 1: many Western leaders now, including our own, saying to Israel,
- 9:43Speaker 1: de escalate, de escalate, you know, don't go any further
- 9:47Speaker 1: in this war against Hezbollah. As you see it, did
- 9:51Speaker 1: Israel have any choice but to strike back at Hesbelah?
- 9:57Speaker 2: Yeah, the Angel situation, I mean it is quite grave
- 10:01Speaker 2: in the sense that Hesbel has been able to redefine
- 10:04Speaker 2: the border of Israel because of the seventy thousand evacuees
- 10:09Speaker 2: from northern Israel and Heswel remember started on October the eighth,
- 10:15Speaker 2: and they have fired over eight thousand rockets since that
- 10:19Speaker 2: time into northern Israel, plus artillery plus mortars, and Israel
- 10:26Speaker 2: has to re establish its border to make certainly it
- 10:30Speaker 2: continues to be a sovereign state. Israel made a conscious
- 10:33Speaker 2: decision to step up its game to convince Israel the
- 10:38Speaker 2: head of Hezbolah to voluntarily pull his forces back across
- 10:42Speaker 2: the Latani River and so that the reoccupation of northern
- 10:47Speaker 2: Israel can take place, or they will conduct the ground
- 10:51Speaker 2: invasion and supported by major air campaign. And the evidence
- 10:56Speaker 2: is pretty clear what we saw last week with the
- 11:01Speaker 2: communication devices exploding, that taking down of the entire leadership,
- 11:07Speaker 2: virtually killing all of the tactical leaders, and then in
- 11:12Speaker 2: airstrikes against mostly launchers and other military targets, the Israelis
- 11:17Speaker 2: are telling israela, this is going to continue. A ground
- 11:22Speaker 2: campaign is eminent if you don't pull back and stop
- 11:27Speaker 2: firing into Israel. That is kind of where we are.
- 11:32Speaker 1: Absolutely. I'm just wondering how important it is to the West,
- 11:39Speaker 1: to us that Israel defeat Hisbela in Lebanon as well
- 11:43Speaker 1: as defeat Hamas in Gaza.
- 11:48Speaker 2: Well, I think it's critical for Israel to do that.
- 11:51Speaker 2: I think the pressure they get from the Biden administration
- 11:55Speaker 2: is really strange. The truth is they do not want
- 11:59Speaker 2: Israel to conduct the military campaign against Hesbela. If you
- 12:02Speaker 2: listen to the leadership as late as today Secretary Blinking.
- 12:08Speaker 2: This morning, I was watching him in an interview. He
- 12:11Speaker 2: was talking about, no, they want a diplomatic solution to
- 12:15Speaker 2: this difference. Well, a diplomatic solution, yes, I understand how
- 12:21Speaker 2: desirable something like that is. But the reality is Hesbold
- 12:27Speaker 2: has been firing into Israel since October the eighth. Then
- 12:31Speaker 2: there is no diplomatic solution presently. I think what the
- 12:35Speaker 2: best solution I think is the one that Prime Minister
- 12:37Speaker 2: net Ny Owl has forced them into capitulation by this
- 12:43Speaker 2: beefed up campaign of airstrikes and their exquisite intelligence that
- 12:49Speaker 2: they're using to kill Hesbela leaders on a scale not
- 12:53Speaker 2: never seen before.
- 12:55Speaker 1: I think people are forgetting that war is in itself
- 12:57Speaker 1: a form of diplomacy. You changed the facts on the
- 13:01Speaker 1: ground in order to force people to negotiate and make
- 13:03Speaker 1: concessions that otherwise would not. And let's not forget when
- 13:07Speaker 1: it comes to diplomacy. The United Nations has for twenty
- 13:10Speaker 1: five years, twenty four years supposed to be in the
- 13:13Speaker 1: south of Lebanon, making sure hisboala acids are not there.
- 13:17Speaker 1: They have completely failed to Ukraine general. The Ukrainians in
- 13:23Speaker 1: the past week have blown up three massive ammunition centers
- 13:27Speaker 1: in Russia with drones, destroying about three months supply of
- 13:32Speaker 1: missiles and rockets that Russia was firing into Ukraine. But
- 13:37Speaker 1: Russia meanwhile is advancing in Ukraine's west, and Ukraine's President
- 13:42Speaker 1: Zelenski a speech to the UN yesterday pleading for more help.
- 13:47Speaker 1: Where is that war going and what should we do?
- 13:51Speaker 2: What we've seen is Ukraine has occupied about five hundred
- 13:56Speaker 2: square miles of territory in the cursed province of Russia.
- 14:00Speaker 2: Uh uh. The Russians have advanced in the Donbass region,
- 14:05Speaker 2: particularly in the west in dol Nask, but they haven't
- 14:09Speaker 2: been able to achieve their tactical objectives and the casualties
- 14:14Speaker 2: are staggering upon Russia, so much so that Putin to
- 14:19Speaker 2: be able to continue, and this isn't talked about very much,
- 14:22Speaker 2: will likely have to do another partial mobilization. He really
- 14:26Speaker 2: doesn't want to do it because he knows this war,
- 14:29Speaker 2: which he advertised to his speaker was only going to
- 14:32Speaker 2: last a few weeks, is going into its third year
- 14:35Speaker 2: and the reality, the reality is he'll start to get
- 14:40Speaker 2: pushback from his own population. Something doesn't want. I spoke
- 14:43Speaker 2: to Zelenski and as Foreign Minister one on one Sunday night,
- 14:47Speaker 2: and I strongly urged them to make a very strong
- 14:51Speaker 2: case with President Biden on removing the restrictions of the
- 14:55Speaker 2: use of US weapons, the long range missiles. They have
- 14:59Speaker 2: a map we provided to them that shows something that
- 15:03Speaker 2: is completely different from what the Biden administration is telling
- 15:06Speaker 2: them that and they are saying to them, look at
- 15:09Speaker 2: the Russians have pulled their forces away. There's no reason
- 15:12Speaker 2: to use those weapons inside of Russia because there's nothing
- 15:16Speaker 2: to target. Of course, the Ukraine's notice plenty of target,
- 15:19Speaker 2: and the Institute for the Study at Work produced a
- 15:21Speaker 2: map based on geolocations. We confirm them two hundred and
- 15:26Speaker 2: forty five Russian force concentrations and bases in that area,
- 15:31Speaker 2: ranged by attackings to include sixteen air bases which are
- 15:36Speaker 2: providing the glidebonds that so devastating Kiev and also destroying
- 15:40Speaker 2: their energy infrastructure, something that President Zelinsky is very very
- 15:45Speaker 2: concerned about. With winter coming, he's got to make a
- 15:49Speaker 2: firm request. I think he will, and hopefully President Biden
- 15:53Speaker 2: will listen to him.
- 15:56Speaker 1: Well. I hope that's the case, because if they're support
- 16:00Speaker 1: to come this year, there's a big question mark if
- 16:02Speaker 1: it'll come if Donald Trump wins the election. I'm afraid Australia,
- 16:06Speaker 1: by the way, I've been critical of our level of
- 16:11Speaker 1: support for Ukraine. We buried Taipan helicopters rather than give
- 16:16Speaker 1: them to Ukraine. We initially refuse or our government refuse
- 16:21Speaker 1: to give our fifty nine old Abrams tanks, never been
- 16:25Speaker 1: used in war, going to be replaced, refuse to give
- 16:28Speaker 1: them to Ukraine. It's now reconsidering that decision. How useful
- 16:33Speaker 1: would Abram's tanks, fifty nine of them be in Ukraine.
- 16:38Speaker 2: That is exactly the kind of equipment that they're getting
- 16:41Speaker 2: from Europeans, is equipment that is aged out but still
- 16:46Speaker 2: very usable. And after all, the Ukraines their own equipment
- 16:52Speaker 2: is really aged out, former Russian equipment themselves. So those
- 16:57Speaker 2: Abrams tanks, even though they may be older, a superior
- 17:01Speaker 2: to what they have themselves from their own stocks. They
- 17:05Speaker 2: would welcome those tanks to those helicopters. Any kind of
- 17:09Speaker 2: munition that they could do damage stead of Russians, no
- 17:13Speaker 2: matter how old it is.
- 17:14Speaker 1: General Jack Keene, always informative to talk to you, Thank
- 17:18Speaker 1: you so much.
- 17:18Speaker 2: Indeed, yeah great talking to you, Andrew as always and
- 17:23Speaker 2: now an exclusive.
- 17:25Speaker 1: It hasn't taken long for the Albanzi government's decision to
- 17:29Speaker 1: issue tourism visas to three thousand Palestinians from Gaza terrorists
- 17:33Speaker 1: run Gaza without even an interview. Hasn't taken long for
- 17:38Speaker 1: that to blow up in its face. One of those
- 17:40Speaker 1: Palestinians has already gone to the federal court in the
- 17:42Speaker 1: case that should raise the alarm. Hossey, I'm only giving
- 17:45Speaker 1: his first name. He was given one of these visas
- 17:48Speaker 1: on November thirteen, his wife and daughter as well. I'm
- 17:52Speaker 1: going by to court documents here now. Hosney and his
- 17:55Speaker 1: wife and daughter got their visas just a month after
- 17:58Speaker 1: the Hamas attack on Israel that started this war, which
- 18:01Speaker 1: is very fast, in my opinion, too fast for proper checks.
- 18:04Speaker 1: As you'll see, they went to Egypt and Hossey's wife
- 18:07Speaker 1: and daughter and then flew to Sydney in January. Hossey
- 18:10Speaker 1: stayed back. It was only in March that Asio told
- 18:14Speaker 1: the Immigration Minister Hossey was directly or indirectly a risk
- 18:18Speaker 1: to our security and couldn't come. And now this hosy
- 18:24Speaker 1: is demanded in the federal court force Asier and the
- 18:26Speaker 1: minister to hand over the evidence against them. He says
- 18:29Speaker 1: it's no danger. Azio is arguing it cannot hand over
- 18:32Speaker 1: that information without putting our security at more risk because
- 18:36Speaker 1: I've got this information through sensitive reporting. So you see
- 18:41Speaker 1: where all this government nonsense as a landed us bringing
- 18:46Speaker 1: in people without proper checks finding oops, it handed out
- 18:51Speaker 1: of Issa when it shouldn't. Luckily the guy's still in Cairo.
- 18:57Speaker 1: But it's too late, of course to ban the man's
- 18:59Speaker 1: wife and daughter. I'm not saying the terrorist threats. I'm
- 19:03Speaker 1: just saying had they been, it would have been too late.
- 19:06Speaker 1: And now the same guy clogging our courts with legal action,
- 19:11Speaker 1: they pasting in non citizen who's demanding sensitive information. Joining
- 19:17Speaker 1: me is Dante and the opposition's immigration spokesman Dante and
- 19:21Speaker 1: thanks for your Tom. What does this case tell.
- 19:24Speaker 11: You, Well, what it tells me, and I think what
- 19:29Speaker 11: it tells the Australian people is that Anthony Albanese in
- 19:33Speaker 11: his government has put national security at risk through the
- 19:37Speaker 11: rush way that they issued these visas. Now, we've always
- 19:43Speaker 11: been aware of the possibility that this could lead to
- 19:47Speaker 11: serious national security consequences, but it now seems that we're
- 19:52Speaker 11: starting to get proof that that's exactly the case.
- 19:57Speaker 1: It seems to me astonishing that they would hand out
- 20:01Speaker 1: visas the people without checking them and then finding, oh,
- 20:03Speaker 1: my goodness, you are a security risk and they don't
- 20:06Speaker 1: know what to do with the presume with the man's family. Now,
- 20:10Speaker 1: how many other cases like this one do you think
- 20:13Speaker 1: there are?
- 20:16Speaker 11: Well, we know of seven cases where it seems that
- 20:20Speaker 11: they've applied for a visa and have been refused. Now
- 20:25Speaker 11: we don't know the exact circumstances. But what we need
- 20:29Speaker 11: to hear now, and we need to hear it from
- 20:32Speaker 11: Anthony Alberansi because he was the one who refused to
- 20:35Speaker 11: answer questions in the Parliament on this matter, is what
- 20:40Speaker 11: is the circumstances around in these seven individuals, And also
- 20:46Speaker 11: we need to hear from Anthony Albanesi. Is it likely
- 20:50Speaker 11: that we're going to see more cases like this? So
- 20:54Speaker 11: far we're getting silence, and it's simply not good enough
- 20:57Speaker 11: because this goes to the government's number one priority, which
- 21:02Speaker 11: is keeping Australian citizens safe.
- 21:07Speaker 8: Now.
- 21:07Speaker 1: In this case, the man didn't go on the plane
- 21:09Speaker 1: to Sydney with his wife and daughter. In other cases
- 21:14Speaker 1: I presume they did or could have. How can it
- 21:17Speaker 1: be fixed when you get a security assessment against someone
- 21:22Speaker 1: when their family or they themselves are already in Australia,
- 21:26Speaker 1: given that the governments said the circumstances don't are right
- 21:31Speaker 1: now to send anyone back.
- 21:35Speaker 11: Well, this is the great problem, and this is why
- 21:39Speaker 11: the government should never have rushed these people into Australia
- 21:44Speaker 11: using tourist visas, because we've already seen that a large
- 21:48Speaker 11: proportion of them are immediately claiming asylum. I think it'll
- 21:52Speaker 11: be over ninety percent in the coming months. It's almost
- 21:58Speaker 11: over seventy percent now. So the government has made an
- 22:02Speaker 11: unholy mess. And this, sadly is the trait of this
- 22:06Speaker 11: government when it comes to immigration, whether it be bringing
- 22:10Speaker 11: a million people into this nation at numbers we've never
- 22:14Speaker 11: seen in two years, whether it's the backlog that we're
- 22:18Speaker 11: now starting to see in the Ministry of Appeals Tribuneral,
- 22:22Speaker 11: whether it's the number of people claiming asylum, whether it's
- 22:25Speaker 11: the release of the n.
- 22:27Speaker 1: Z YQ detainees.
- 22:30Speaker 11: The lease just goes on and on, and they're proving
- 22:33Speaker 11: time and time again they just cannot be trusted when
- 22:36Speaker 11: it comes to immigration and national security.
- 22:39Speaker 1: Sadly, Danteen, I see that the multi millionaire founder of
- 22:46Speaker 1: the Teals movement wants to fund another global warning crusader.
- 22:50Speaker 1: This starting to run against you in your seat of one.
- 22:53Speaker 1: And there's a comedian called Alex Darson who says he
- 22:57Speaker 1: really wants the rest of us to cut our emissions.
- 23:00Speaker 1: But I don't know, Dan, he seems a bit of
- 23:02Speaker 1: a hypocrite to me, since since he took that picture,
- 23:04Speaker 1: he said, other pictures of himself in New Zealand, over
- 23:08Speaker 1: in Texas, in the United States, in Utah there on
- 23:12Speaker 1: a road trip. More from him in Darwin and on
- 23:17Speaker 1: the other side of the globe in Austria, and then
- 23:20Speaker 1: back again to Sydney and to home. We has filming
- 23:23Speaker 1: themself doing what he records a tribute to our navy,
- 23:26Speaker 1: although I doubt it will be seen quite that way
- 23:28Speaker 1: by most voters. All that travel, Dan teen from a
- 23:32Speaker 1: global warming activist that wants us to cut our emissions,
- 23:35Speaker 1: does it seem at a odd to you?
- 23:40Speaker 11: Well, I think that means that there are some serious
- 23:43Speaker 11: questions that I think they need to be answered, Andrew.
- 23:47Speaker 11: But what I'm focused I can tell you is we've
- 23:49Speaker 11: just had Chris Bowen announce that he's given approval for
- 23:54Speaker 11: another step in the process that will see an offshore
- 23:57Speaker 11: wind farm off the coast of Warnable and Fairy. Now
- 24:00Speaker 11: we've got nearly over seven seven thousand signatures opposed to
- 24:05Speaker 11: this offshore wind farm and I'll be standing with the
- 24:08Speaker 11: community to make sure it doesn't go ahead. That's what
- 24:11Speaker 11: I'll be doing, and that's what I'll be focusing on.
- 24:15Speaker 11: Others can run their own race and do what they
- 24:18Speaker 11: think they need to be doing, but I'll be very
- 24:21Speaker 11: much just standing with my community and one of the
- 24:23Speaker 11: things I'll be standing against is this offshore wind farm.
- 24:29Speaker 1: Dante, and thank you so much indeed for your time.
- 24:32Speaker 11: Thank you, Andrew.
- 24:35Speaker 1: After the break, Barnaby Joyce and an angry prime minister.
- 24:39Speaker 1: Yet another mess once in politics and you'll never be
- 24:46Speaker 1: trusted again. Ask Anthony Albinezi the Prime Minister today try
- 24:51Speaker 1: to clean up the mess that he and treasure Jim
- 24:53Speaker 1: Charms made yesterday about their plans or non plans. Who
- 24:57Speaker 1: knows to scrap negative gearing for people investment properties. As
- 25:01Speaker 1: I showed yesterday Albany is he trying to claim it
- 25:04Speaker 1: wasn't him that asked Charmers Treasury Department to work out
- 25:07Speaker 1: the costs of abolishing negative gearing. It was apparently some
- 25:11Speaker 1: public servant off on a frolic. Looks like change. Charmers
- 25:16Speaker 1: actually ambushed him. But Albaniz He today tried to calm
- 25:18Speaker 1: fears that negative gearing is indeed going.
- 25:22Speaker 5: Well, we have no plans to touch it or change
- 25:25Speaker 5: negative gearing.
- 25:26Speaker 1: The thing is, don't you remember that Albaniz He used
- 25:29Speaker 1: to promise he wasn't changing the Stage three tax cuts either.
- 25:33Speaker 5: We haven't changed our position. I've said, we haven't changed
- 25:36Speaker 5: our position.
- 25:37Speaker 8: We haven't changed our position on the Stage Stree tax cuts.
- 25:42Speaker 1: Except you then did indeed tear up his promise. So
- 25:46Speaker 1: excuse Skye News as Peter Stephanovic today for not trusting
- 25:50Speaker 1: Albaniz's word about not changing negative gearing.
- 25:53Speaker 5: Either, Tyl, there are no plans to change capital gains
- 25:57Speaker 5: tax or negative gearing.
- 25:58Speaker 12: Could those plans change?
- 26:01Speaker 5: Well, if you ask the same question, Peter, you get.
- 26:03Speaker 11: Well, I'm not getting a response to it.
- 26:05Speaker 13: So can I ask again, could those questions?
- 26:07Speaker 14: Yes you are, Yes, you are.
- 26:09Speaker 5: You're not listening, Peter. What we did with our income
- 26:15Speaker 5: tax changes was to deliver a tax cup for every
- 26:18Speaker 5: Australia lives.
- 26:19Speaker 2: Doing a live.
- 26:21Speaker 15: You were deceive doing that, guess what, Pete?
- 26:23Speaker 5: Well, well if I did, so did Peter Dutton, because
- 26:25Speaker 5: they voted for it.
- 26:27Speaker 1: I mean, my treasure Jim Chalmers is off in Beijing
- 26:30Speaker 1: working to make us even more dependent on the dictatorship.
- 26:33Speaker 1: Peter Dutton pounced.
- 26:36Speaker 10: The Treasurer dumps this story out there and then he
- 26:38Speaker 10: jumps on a plane to go to China, so.
- 26:40Speaker 1: He's nowhere to answer questions.
- 26:42Speaker 10: And the Prime Minister keeps changing his story about whether
- 26:45Speaker 10: the government is adopting the Greens policy to abolish negative
- 26:48Speaker 10: gearing or to cap it, what are they doing in
- 26:50Speaker 10: relation to capital gains discount and what does that mean
- 26:53Speaker 10: for uncertainty in the economy? And the Prime Minister can't
- 26:57Speaker 10: answer a question with honest.
- 27:00Speaker 1: The wheels are falling off.
- 27:01Speaker 10: The Albanzi government.
- 27:04Speaker 1: Joining me is our Thursday regular Barnaby Jews, the Nationals
- 27:06Speaker 1: front bencher and former Deputy Prime Minister Barnaby Joyce Scretch
- 27:10Speaker 1: wonderful countryside behind you. Thank you. No one knows now
- 27:15Speaker 1: whether ALBANIZI will or won't change negative gearing. Do you
- 27:19Speaker 1: think he should? No, he shouldn't.
- 27:24Speaker 8: And what we've got is this is chaos.
- 27:27Speaker 7: Obviously, to be quite frank, mister Albanzi is in a
- 27:32Speaker 7: lot of political trouble and mister Chalmers knows that. And
- 27:36Speaker 7: Cameron Milner's out there tonight, who's a senior Labor Party
- 27:40Speaker 7: operative saying that basically missed Albanese is cooked, it's all
- 27:44Speaker 7: over and he should go. And this just goes to
- 27:47Speaker 7: show you that the chaotic position in Australia is currently in.
- 27:51Speaker 7: We've got to treat me public servants. Just don't wander
- 27:55Speaker 7: off and start wargaming and planning the removal of negative
- 28:01Speaker 7: gearing on houses just out of a whim, like, oh
- 28:03Speaker 7: what are we going to do today?
- 28:04Speaker 16: Work?
- 28:04Speaker 6: Oh?
- 28:05Speaker 8: I just wander down there and wall game and plan
- 28:08Speaker 8: a major tax overhaul.
- 28:10Speaker 7: Without any permission, without any states. I just off the cuff,
- 28:14Speaker 7: off the cuff, so to speak. It's just unbelievable. And
- 28:18Speaker 7: when the Prime Minister goes out and these weasel words,
- 28:20Speaker 7: we have no plans, they leave the point.
- 28:23Speaker 8: They leave out at the moment.
- 28:26Speaker 7: You know, they don't say is they should say, I
- 28:28Speaker 7: am not going I'm not going to change the negative
- 28:33Speaker 7: gearing on houses. That's that's how you answer in a decisive, clear,
- 28:38Speaker 7: unambiguous way.
- 28:39Speaker 8: Now he's used this language before before he.
- 28:41Speaker 7: Changed to take the stage three tax cuts, and we
- 28:44Speaker 7: know what's happening here. I mean, we've got charmers. Is
- 28:47Speaker 7: just sort of cutting him adrift, like here you go,
- 28:50Speaker 7: here's a perer sandwich. Go it at, mister Prime Minister.
- 28:53Speaker 7: I'm off to China buy. And there's now three aircraft
- 28:56Speaker 7: carriers between Chinese aircraft carriers between US and the tray
- 29:00Speaker 7: of Australia. And they've been firing what ballistic missiles over
- 29:03Speaker 7: the Pacific as we speak.
- 29:04Speaker 8: No chance of talking to Jim. Jim's off and.
- 29:08Speaker 7: Poor old Anthony Albanesi, well he doesn't know what's going on.
- 29:12Speaker 7: He's just he's completely an utterly at sea. And that's
- 29:15Speaker 7: to be quite frank. Whether the new tacticians in the
- 29:18Speaker 7: Labor Party want him because they want mister alban easy gone.
- 29:25Speaker 1: It's interesting we had Albanzi today give his reason for
- 29:34Speaker 1: not liking negative gearing. After all, here he is, this
- 29:38Speaker 1: is this.
- 29:40Speaker 5: We have no plans to touch it or change negative gearing.
- 29:43Speaker 5: What we're concerned about is supply of housing, and this
- 29:48Speaker 5: I'm not convinced it will make any difference. That's positive
- 29:52Speaker 5: when it comes to supply.
- 29:56Speaker 1: Fine, but hasn't Albinizie actually got this the wrong way around.
- 30:00Speaker 1: It's true, of course the supply of houses is a
- 30:03Speaker 1: problem now, but that's in large part Banner because the
- 30:06Speaker 1: demand for housing has exploded because this government has brought
- 30:11Speaker 1: in a million immigrants so far without the houses for them.
- 30:15Speaker 8: Yes, yes, I mean that's so obvious.
- 30:19Speaker 7: When you hear that, you say, look, I'm going to
- 30:21Speaker 7: help you out here. We've got there are three problems.
- 30:23Speaker 7: One is in Australia and they're all able to pay problems.
- 30:26Speaker 7: Intermitted power, your swindle factories and I hit danteen talk
- 30:29Speaker 7: about a wind farm off warnable, Dan, I love you
- 30:31Speaker 7: to death, mate. They're not farms, Okay, it's intermittent multinational swindles.
- 30:35Speaker 1: On the taxpayer.
- 30:36Speaker 8: They're called their swindle factories.
- 30:39Speaker 1: So you got that.
- 30:40Speaker 7: You've got the next one, which is immigration. Immigration, that's
- 30:43Speaker 7: what's causing the problems. You've got more people coming in
- 30:46Speaker 7: for the same amount of houses. So the price goes up.
- 30:49Speaker 8: Very simple. If you want to talk.
- 30:51Speaker 7: About supply, it's the supply of people that's causing the problem,
- 30:54Speaker 7: not the supply of houses. You're pouring the people in,
- 30:56Speaker 7: so the demand of houses going up. The last one,
- 30:59Speaker 7: the last ie, is the incumbent, the incumbent Prime minister.
- 31:02Speaker 8: And let's say you bring in negative Let's say you
- 31:06Speaker 8: got rid of negative given hypothetically, I mean, what do
- 31:09Speaker 8: you think is going to happen.
- 31:10Speaker 7: What do you think magically houses will just appear, just
- 31:13Speaker 7: fall out of the sky. You're still going to have
- 31:15Speaker 7: the same number of houses. What you're going to have
- 31:17Speaker 7: is different owners, most likely foreign owners, foreign corporate, foreign
- 31:22Speaker 7: investment funds will come in and buy a whole swag
- 31:24Speaker 7: of houses.
- 31:25Speaker 8: And it's nothing's going to be solved.
- 31:29Speaker 7: It won't be solved until you affect the supply of
- 31:33Speaker 7: people people wanting houses. That means stop bringing in these
- 31:36Speaker 7: you know, the equivalents of you know, more than Canberra,
- 31:40Speaker 7: more than the City of Canberra basically every year.
- 31:42Speaker 8: Which is what's happening at the moment is complete.
- 31:45Speaker 7: It's a disaster, I mean, and it's the incumbent prime minister.
- 31:49Speaker 7: The third eye, the incumbent Prime Minister and mister Anthony Albernezi.
- 31:57Speaker 1: Look, it's going to be their wind farms are now
- 32:02Speaker 1: having studied the landscape farfully behind, but guarantee there will
- 32:07Speaker 1: never ever be There will never ever be a wind
- 32:11Speaker 1: farm there because not a blade of grass has moved,
- 32:14Speaker 1: not a blade, not a leaf has moved. There will
- 32:18Speaker 1: never be a gust of wind in that landscape, disturbing
- 32:22Speaker 1: what you're standing in front of. I think it might
- 32:25Speaker 1: have been calm there about Toby. Thank you so much
- 32:27Speaker 1: for your time.
- 32:28Speaker 8: They think you're welcome. See you next time.
- 32:34Speaker 1: Yes, I think it was fulled a photo anyway, after
- 32:39Speaker 1: the break. The ABC chairman has just been embarrassed just
- 32:43Speaker 1: hours after saying the ABC it was about truth and
- 32:47Speaker 1: not bias. You check that well, the ABC chairman Kim Williams,
- 32:56Speaker 1: he should be embarrassed as furious last time again his
- 33:00Speaker 1: big speech about fixing the ABC and fighting misinformation.
- 33:05Speaker 3: The truth matters, and I mean really matters. The world
- 33:10Speaker 3: is in the middle of a crisis of mistrust of information,
- 33:14Speaker 3: constituting perhaps the greatest threat to liberal democracy in the
- 33:18Speaker 3: world today.
- 33:21Speaker 1: Now Williams boasted the ABC would tell that truth, especially
- 33:25Speaker 1: to Pacific countries. In fact, it's just set up a
- 33:28Speaker 1: new service into VLOU.
- 33:31Speaker 3: Through ABC International Services. Is the aim to become the
- 33:35Speaker 3: most trusted and valued broadcast media and digital content provider
- 33:40Speaker 3: in the Indo Pacific region.
- 33:43Speaker 1: Yet the very next morning, today, the ABC's Radio National
- 33:47Speaker 1: Breakfast fed to VLOU and US the most biased alarmist
- 33:53Speaker 1: nonsense about how global warming was drowning the country.
- 33:57Speaker 12: Can a country still exist if it's land are fully
- 34:00Speaker 12: submerged in water due to climate change? That's the question
- 34:04Speaker 12: Tuvlu and other Pacific island nations are asking at the
- 34:07Speaker 12: UN this week. If predicted predictions of sea levels rises
- 34:11Speaker 12: are true, the country could be almost entirely underwater by
- 34:15Speaker 12: next century.
- 34:17Speaker 1: The interviewer asked one misleading question after another of his guest,
- 34:21Speaker 1: the politician from Tuvlu, who's flogged the same scare himself.
- 34:27Speaker 12: Your country is likely to be the first country in
- 34:30Speaker 12: the world to become inhabitable due to climate change.
- 34:34Speaker 14: We could be.
- 34:34Speaker 12: Fully submerged in a matter of fifty two two hundred years.
- 34:39Speaker 1: In fact, even the ABC used to admit that the
- 34:44Speaker 1: evidence did show Tuvlu was instead among hundreds of Pacific
- 34:47Speaker 1: islands that were growing not drowning. Professor Paul Kensch's published
- 34:53Speaker 1: the most comprehensive study in twenty eighteen. So the dominant
- 34:57Speaker 1: mode of change over the past decades on Tuvalu has
- 34:59Speaker 1: been expansion, not erosion. Lots of land, he said, is
- 35:05Speaker 1: unlikely to be a factor enforcing depopulation of Tuo Valou.
- 35:09Speaker 1: Global warming is unlikely to make people leave. Why wasn't
- 35:14Speaker 1: any of that mentioned by the ABC today? Why did
- 35:18Speaker 1: it again whip up its global warming crusade like that?
- 35:23Speaker 1: Now you can understand why two Vlou politicians would have
- 35:25Speaker 1: loved it, because the more that they complain that our
- 35:29Speaker 1: emissions are killing their islands, the more guilt money Australia
- 35:33Speaker 1: gives them. Penny Wong just handed them thirty eight million dollars.
- 35:37Speaker 1: Joining me is the panel James McPherson from the late
- 35:39Speaker 1: debate here on Sky News Benevelyn Ray farmer for Policewoman
- 35:43Speaker 1: and Sky News regular James McPherson. I mean, every time
- 35:47Speaker 1: the ABC chairman says it's against bars and fake news,
- 35:50Speaker 1: we see the ABC pumping out more of exactly that.
- 35:55Speaker 17: Yeah, Well, Kim william says all the right things but
- 35:58Speaker 17: to all the wrong people. Yes, truth in news is important,
- 36:02Speaker 17: But don't tell us, tell the ABC staff. I mean
- 36:05Speaker 17: he warns about, you know, the dangers of fake news. Well,
- 36:08Speaker 17: the ABC, sadly on our dime, are the greatest proponents
- 36:12Speaker 17: of fake news. And if you don't believe me, just
- 36:15Speaker 17: ask anyone who works for the Australian Defense Forces.
- 36:18Speaker 14: Even the slogan of the ABC is a lie.
- 36:20Speaker 17: Australia's most trusted news service. I'm not sure anyone really
- 36:25Speaker 17: believes that anymore.
- 36:26Speaker 1: Andrew, Well, you mentioned, you know, the stitch up job
- 36:31Speaker 1: that it's been doing on Heston Russell, the former of
- 36:35Speaker 1: soldier in Afghanistani they painters falsely as a war criminal.
- 36:38Speaker 1: But Evelyn, the ABC, look, when is it going to
- 36:41Speaker 1: apologize for also, for instance, selling Bruce Pascoe's aboriginal When's
- 36:46Speaker 1: he going to apologize for its three part series falsely
- 36:48Speaker 1: claiming Donald Trump with the Russia's dictator to steal an election.
- 36:54Speaker 18: Look, Hello, and welcome to four Corners. Tonight we begin
- 36:57Speaker 18: our special three part investigation to the story of the century,
- 37:01Speaker 18: the election of US President Donald Trump and his ties
- 37:05Speaker 18: to Russia. The Kremlin's puppetmaster now has America dancing to
- 37:10Speaker 18: his discordant tune. He couldn't have planned it better.
- 37:19Speaker 1: Why no apology for any of that evalent.
- 37:22Speaker 16: Look, Andrew, they're not going to make an apology because
- 37:26Speaker 16: they don't need to make an apology. It's how we've
- 37:28Speaker 16: set it up. You know, they are guaranteed funding regardless
- 37:33Speaker 16: of what they spit out on the news. They're not
- 37:35Speaker 16: dependent on public approval, they're not dependent on ratings, and
- 37:39Speaker 16: they're not dependent on subscribers. They awarded over one billion
- 37:43Speaker 16: of our dollars every year to pedal a message that
- 37:47Speaker 16: only inner city lefties would probably approve of. And if
- 37:51Speaker 16: they want to dispute that, they want to say or
- 37:54Speaker 16: suggest that they are the voice representing the average Australian,
- 37:59Speaker 16: then how about we turn the ABC into a subscription service.
- 38:03Speaker 16: Let's have at it. Let's see how many people are
- 38:06Speaker 16: willing to subscribe to them each month to like a
- 38:09Speaker 16: Netflix type fee. I guarantee you they would be bankrupt
- 38:13Speaker 16: in the first month because they do not speak for
- 38:16Speaker 16: the average austraint and they're not going to apologize because
- 38:18Speaker 16: they just simply don't care.
- 38:21Speaker 1: Evelyn, I totally agree with you. And Look, that could
- 38:25Speaker 1: be as based as all get out if it was
- 38:26Speaker 1: a subscription service like Sky News, because then if it
- 38:30Speaker 1: wasn't taxpayer money, what's the problem. You know, we all
- 38:33Speaker 1: got an opinion, but this is taxpayer funded. Has been hijacked, James,
- 38:38Speaker 1: here's a story that the ABC doesn't cover. How Greted Tunberg,
- 38:43Speaker 1: the high priest of this global warming cult, has switched
- 38:47Speaker 1: to another hard left cause, hating Israel ever liten.
- 38:52Speaker 19: In Palestine and all over the world, the fight against
- 38:55Speaker 19: colonialism and corporation's destruction of the planet are intreating to
- 38:59Speaker 19: me as Israel bomb's hospitals, homes and schools in Gaza,
- 39:04Speaker 19: Chevron supplies them with energy and being Israel's genocide in
- 39:08Speaker 19: Gaza and Israeli apartheid is a climate justice issue.
- 39:13Speaker 1: So many half truths and lies bow mission and it's
- 39:18Speaker 1: just unbelievable. Oh and that buzzword, that modern hate word
- 39:22Speaker 1: of the left, colonialism, What is happening here?
- 39:26Speaker 17: Well on Greta Tunberg, I mean, she's tried to link
- 39:30Speaker 17: climate justice with Palestinian rights as if they go together.
- 39:34Speaker 17: And her argument is that Chevron are supplying natural gas
- 39:38Speaker 17: to Israel and so therefore you've got that nexus of
- 39:41Speaker 17: climate and Palestinian rights. She neglects to mention that same
- 39:46Speaker 17: natural gas field also supplied Jordan, it's supplied Egypt. But
- 39:50Speaker 17: apparently fossil fuels only cause climate change when they're.
- 39:54Speaker 14: Used by the Jews.
- 39:55Speaker 17: So that's the hypocrisy of Greta Tunberg, of course, Andrew,
- 39:59Speaker 17: that's that's never mentioned. But Greta's just moved from one
- 40:02Speaker 17: grift to another, and there'll be something else six months
- 40:06Speaker 17: from now, I'm sure probably.
- 40:08Speaker 1: Well, Evelyn, I'm almost out of time. What do you
- 40:10Speaker 1: make of this?
- 40:12Speaker 16: I think if we just can't deny the fact that
- 40:14Speaker 16: she's still a twenty one year old woman posing as
- 40:17Speaker 16: some innocent schoolgirl. You know, it's a manufactured brand that
- 40:21Speaker 16: she has, and this is just part of her brand
- 40:25Speaker 16: and she has to uphold it. Whatever the next thing
- 40:27Speaker 16: is to be oppressed and part of the oppressed class.
- 40:32Speaker 1: Well, I noticed that she hasn't been noted much for
- 40:34Speaker 1: her a global warming activism for a couple of years now,
- 40:38Speaker 1: and suddenly she's getting attention because she's switched to a
- 40:40Speaker 1: more popular cause. Evelyn Ray James Furson, thanks for your time.
- 40:44Speaker 1: After the break, how Britain's Prime minister got caught in
- 40:47Speaker 1: this video being somewhere he shouldn't plus my book of
- 40:51Speaker 1: the week, one that you should buy for the young
- 40:53Speaker 1: anti Israeli activist in your family. But I reckon it's
- 41:00Speaker 1: the British Prime Minister Kirs stands now the most hopelessly
- 41:04Speaker 1: inept politician in the West. And not just of course,
- 41:07Speaker 1: you know the other day called Israeli hostages sausages. I
- 41:11Speaker 1: mentioned before how it has also been found accepting thousands
- 41:14Speaker 1: of thousands of dollars of freebies, even clothes and exp
- 41:17Speaker 1: expensive glasses from a tycoon Lord Ali, thousands of dollars
- 41:21Speaker 1: worth of soccer tickets, a loan of an apartment and
- 41:25Speaker 1: what a grifter. But it gets worse. Before he became
- 41:30Speaker 1: Prime Minister, Kiers Starmer take the very pained message pleading
- 41:35Speaker 1: with Britons to obey the pandemic restrictions like working from home,
- 41:40Speaker 1: and you'd assume from the photos and the rest around
- 41:43Speaker 1: him that that was what he was doing, working from home.
- 41:48Speaker 15: At times like this, we must all put the national
- 41:51Speaker 15: interest first and play by the rules. Getting jobbed, wearing
- 41:57Speaker 15: masks are working from home if we can.
- 42:01Speaker 1: Except it now turns out that that fashionable bookcase behind
- 42:05Speaker 1: him looks exactly like the one that starred in a
- 42:08Speaker 1: documentary filmed in Lord Arli's apartment. In fact, that was
- 42:12Speaker 1: Lord Ali's apartment that Starmer was in when he was
- 42:15Speaker 1: telling Britain's to stay home. Joining me from London is
- 42:19Speaker 1: Patrick Christie's star presenter of gb News, Patricks Cuch astonishing hypocrisypocrisy.
- 42:29Speaker 14: It's absolutely remarkable.
- 42:30Speaker 20: I mean, this guy spent years lecturing everybody about decency
- 42:36Speaker 20: being so pure itanical it hurts, and then shock horror,
- 42:40Speaker 20: here we are.
- 42:41Speaker 14: He's in very, very big trouble over.
- 42:43Speaker 20: This because he doesn't appear to have declared the use
- 42:46Speaker 20: of this eighty pound penthouse in his expenses claims. Was
- 42:50Speaker 20: he living there during the pandemic? If so, he should
- 42:54Speaker 20: have declared that if he wasn't living there during the pandemic,
- 42:57Speaker 20: he shouldn't really have gone there, because, as you can
- 43:00Speaker 20: hear him say in that video, you're supposed to be
- 43:02Speaker 20: working from home and it's a question of honesty and decency.
- 43:06Speaker 14: Unbelievability, isn't it.
- 43:08Speaker 20: That's before you obviously start answering questions about cronyism and corruption,
- 43:11Speaker 20: as well, putting family pictures behind you on a stand
- 43:16Speaker 20: there to make it look as though it's your own home,
- 43:18Speaker 20: but it wasn't a one off. He also delivered the
- 43:21Speaker 20: message following the Queen's death from there as well. But
- 43:25Speaker 20: it gets even worse than this because Kis Starmer appears
- 43:29Speaker 20: to have had a very very close relationship with this
- 43:32Speaker 20: multi multi multi millionaire, to the point where very recently,
- 43:36Speaker 20: when his son was doing his GCSEs Kiirs, Starmer took
- 43:40Speaker 20: the equivalent of twenty thousand pounds worth of a stay
- 43:44Speaker 20: at this guy's penthouse, again which he's declared. The only
- 43:47Speaker 20: problem for Kis Starmer is that the dates that he
- 43:49Speaker 20: was there do not coincide with his son's exams, so
- 43:54Speaker 20: it looks as though it looks as though he could
- 43:56Speaker 20: be lying about the reason why he was actually staying
- 43:58Speaker 20: there and in the process potentially throwing his own son
- 44:02Speaker 20: under the bus. It gets worse though, even still, because
- 44:05Speaker 20: the Labor Party as a whole, it's emerged that their
- 44:08Speaker 20: main donor was a Cayman Islands based hedge fund that
- 44:13Speaker 20: invests in things like arms, manufacturing, fossil fuels and private healthcare,
- 44:18Speaker 20: all things that they claim to hate. They tried not
- 44:20Speaker 20: to declare that until after the general election, succeeded and
- 44:24Speaker 20: this landslide that he won eighty two days ago, I
- 44:27Speaker 20: think it was now he won a landslide well the
- 44:29Speaker 20: latest polls so that he's dropped forty five points in
- 44:32Speaker 20: the polls. He's now less popular than the outgoing Conservative
- 44:36Speaker 20: leader as well. And just finally, I'm drew on this.
- 44:39Speaker 20: Every single thing he says now looks a bit like
- 44:41Speaker 20: a lie. A couple of days ago, he promised that
- 44:43Speaker 20: military veterans would get priority social housing, and then we
- 44:48Speaker 20: questioned him on it yesterday and it turns out that
- 44:50Speaker 20: they will get the same level of priority for social
- 44:52Speaker 20: housing as asylum seekers and people who've just come to
- 44:55Speaker 20: this country illegally, ironically from some countries that we sent
- 44:59Speaker 20: veterans to go and fight in.
- 45:03Speaker 1: Are you being a little unfair? Patrick? You said, you
- 45:05Speaker 1: know this, this money came from a Cayman Island hedge fund.
- 45:10Speaker 1: Are you sure it wasn't a working class Cayman Island
- 45:13Speaker 1: hedge fund? Seriously? Is this the modern Labor Party? Now?
- 45:22Speaker 14: Yeah, well this is the problem. It looks as though
- 45:24Speaker 14: it is.
- 45:24Speaker 20: And again it's this idea had been one rule for
- 45:27Speaker 20: them and one rule for everybody else. And the prime
- 45:30Speaker 20: example to this is actually what he did with his
- 45:31Speaker 20: son about his son's exams. So Keirs Darmer is lucky
- 45:34Speaker 20: to bring in a rule where anyone who goes to
- 45:35Speaker 20: private school, their parents presumably will now have to pay
- 45:39Speaker 20: an extra twenty percent because he's removed the tax benefit
- 45:43Speaker 20: that they would have. That okay, But when it came
- 45:45Speaker 20: to his own son, he was saying that he was
- 45:47Speaker 20: struggling to revise for his exams, so he took a
- 45:51Speaker 20: gift of an eighteen million pound penthouse in central London
- 45:55Speaker 20: so that his son could revise for a couple of
- 45:58Speaker 20: weeks for his exams. I mean, if that doesn't scream
- 46:01Speaker 20: to tier Frank and that was what it was. It
- 46:04Speaker 20: was two tier care before. Now it's free gear care.
- 46:11Speaker 1: But once again, you know which one of us hasn't
- 46:15Speaker 1: helped out their children by popping them into an eighteen
- 46:19Speaker 1: million pound apartment for a few days just to give
- 46:23Speaker 1: them a little peace and quiet and time for quiet study.
- 46:27Speaker 1: I mean, honestly, this is their modern British Labor Party.
- 46:31Speaker 1: I mean if a Conservative did, they'd be hung, drawn
- 46:34Speaker 1: and courted, and the BBC be dragging them up and
- 46:37Speaker 1: down the street.
- 46:38Speaker 13: Tied to a year to a Bentley just to punish them.
- 46:42Speaker 13: Oh my god, I don't know what's going on there.
- 46:44Speaker 13: You have got their worst prime minister now in the
- 46:47Speaker 13: Western world. I hope you enjoy it.
- 46:49Speaker 1: Patrick Christies, thank you so much indeed for your time. Believable.
- 46:54Speaker 1: That's unbelievable anyway, take it from me now. My book
- 47:00Speaker 1: of the week this week is one that stunned me.
- 47:03Speaker 1: And it's one that I hope you might slip into
- 47:06Speaker 1: the hands of students that you know who seem blind
- 47:09Speaker 1: to the rise of the anti Semitism all around. It
- 47:12Speaker 1: sounds innocent now, just casual anti semitism. The author of
- 47:16Speaker 1: this book he was also blind at first, or didn't
- 47:20Speaker 1: pay enough attention. This is back in Germany in the
- 47:22Speaker 1: nineteen thirties. He was blind to what was coming. His
- 47:26Speaker 1: name was Victor Klemperer. He's an academic Jewish married to
- 47:32Speaker 1: a non Jewish wife, and he came from a famous family.
- 47:37Speaker 1: He thought he was pretty insulated. His uncle, for instance,
- 47:40Speaker 1: was the great conductor Otto Clemperer. His cousin later became
- 47:45Speaker 1: a star in Hollywood of Ogan Hero's fame as Colonel
- 47:49Speaker 1: klink Werner Clemperer, playing the head of a Nazi prisoner
- 47:53Speaker 1: of war camp. But this diary isn't a joke. This
- 47:57Speaker 1: is a diary. It starts in ninety thirty nine thirty
- 48:00Speaker 1: three and it ends in nineteen forty five. And as
- 48:03Speaker 1: you can see, day by day in this book, he
- 48:07Speaker 1: notes in the stary insults against Jews that became laws
- 48:10Speaker 1: against Jews, became violence against Jews, became death. How he
- 48:15Speaker 1: escaped unbelievable, step by step. This is the book I
- 48:20Speaker 1: Will Bear Witness, Volume one. You've got to get it.
- 48:24Speaker 1: Victor Klemper. Give it to some crazy people that don't think, ah, well,
- 48:27Speaker 1: look the same thing won't happen in Australia. He didn't
- 48:30Speaker 1: think it would happen in Germany. Go to our friends
- 48:33Speaker 1: at Robinson's bookshop. You'll see my page there of recommendations.
- 48:38Speaker 1: You can order it from them. That's it from me
- 48:40Speaker 1: now is Sharry Markson
