The Tampa Bay Rays are finally getting their dream stadium after nearly 25 years of waiting — the Hillsborough County Commission just approved a $2.3 billion deal, following yesterday’s nod from the Tampa City Council. The team, which has called Tropicana Field home since 1998, is set to move into their new digs by the 2029 season.
