And Gino figured out how to use some sound effects. ⁓ that's gonna be good. ⁓ before I know we we took a little two weeks, ⁓ two-week break, and we'll get into that. But ⁓ wanna thank our sponsor, the referees crease one stop shop for all your refereeing needs from training. Geno Binda: Make the intro a little bit more exciting. Mark Riley: and scheduling to payment, they do it all. ⁓ also wanna remind you to like and subscribe on YouTube and also ⁓ follow us on all the social medias, the Instagram, the Facebook, and of course Geno Binda: The TikTok. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Mark Riley: Gina, it's Gino get a new toy. I love it. I absolutely love it. we're gonna be hearing a lot of that today. and wanna give a shout out to AOA Studios, as always, for everything they do. ⁓ we'll be back up there and we'll also be on on location, ⁓ if you will. Granite links, ⁓ we have some things coming up at the range and Harmon. So Geno Binda: Ha ha. Mark Riley: We're gonna be bouncing all over. We got some plenty, ⁓ plenty of good guests coming up. Today it's just you and I, Gino. Yeah. Yeah, it's always good. It's always good to just be. Well, I'm glad. I'm I'm very glad. ⁓ and of course, ⁓ you ⁓ what do you want to start with? Did you ⁓ you had the last two weeks you've had quite a few things happen, but I wanna hear about your trip to Vegas and ⁓ your daughter's tournament out there. Geno Binda: Nice. Very good. I got a lot to talk about. Yeah. Great. I mean being in Vegas in the middle of July is, you know, pretty cool. But ⁓ no, it was hot as a hundred and yeah, hundred and f hundred and ten. But ⁓ no, it's normally like one twenty, one twenty five, I they said ⁓ out there. But so it was like a little cooler than normal. But that's ⁓ yeah, it was very hot, but it was awesome. It was a great tournament. ⁓ it was nonstop. You know, I it was weird. Mark Riley: Well pretty hot, I think. Geno Binda: Being out there with just me and my daughter and being in Vegas in in bed around nine thirty, ten o'clock. Mark Riley: Unlike trips of the past, huh? Geno Binda: But right. But you know, I I ⁓ we had I we stayed at the Bellagio and I paid the extra for the Fountain View, which was well worth it. It was unbelievable. And every night just watching that was incredible. So that made the trip, you know, a little extra special because when we went out to Vegas ⁓ for my twenty first birthday, ⁓ you know, my father played the time to say goodbye by Anthony Bocelli. ⁓ Andre Bacelli, sorry. I just messed up one of the greatest singers of all time. ⁓ probably butchered his last name too. So any rate, ⁓ Time to Say Goodbye was played up my grandfather's wake, ⁓ you know, in September when we were going in March and we had all the trip planned and my grandfather had just got back from there. And, you know, we we go out me and my uncle Sweeney and my father, we all go out to Vegas and you know Mark Riley: Yeah. Geno Binda: We hit the Bellagio. And we're me and Sweeney were twenty one. We're like, Come on, we're going in. My father's like, No, you gotta watch the fountain. We're like, Yeah, fuck the fountain. We're going in. So we come, you know, we ⁓ so we get all we were in there for a couple of hours, gamble, whatever, and come out. We're like, My father's like, You gotta watch it. So we watched it right on the corner and sure as shit, that song fucking came on and time to say goodbye. And we were all like, Woo, crying. Mark Riley: What? Geno Binda: Years later. I mean they that's still a regular song played every day at the Bellagio. So like every night I waited for that song to come on. I I heard that every day, probably twice a day. It was awesome. So like you have the channel twenty two you put on your room and you can listen to the the music goes with the fountain. It was pretty cool. Yeah. Mark Riley: ⁓ wow. That's very cool. Your your twenty first birthday, that was only a few years ago, right? Geno Binda: ⁓ yeah. Well was it twenty three now? Holy fuck, twenty three years ago? That was a good time. Yep. That was a that was incredible. ⁓ yeah. What would you say? Mark Riley: crazy. Now ⁓ well no with a hundred and twenty degrees, and it's of course it's a dry heat, you going into the rink, 'cause around here in the summer, you know, I was in the rink last weekend, we'll talk about that. You know, you go from that heat into that cold rink, and sometimes the rink doesn't even seem that cold. So what's a rink in Vegas like? Geno Binda: Well, it's the two rinks that we went to are kinda I think the Vegas Golden Knights have something to do with it. So they you know, both rings were twin rinks, fairly new, well run. ⁓ they have very good facilities. And you know, we had the seven in the morning game and there was an hour of ice, you know, with kids out there from you know, anywhere from college age all the way down to like high school out there skating at six in the morning putting time in. So in in the places ⁓ you know the ice was packed so they're all working on skills and development out there. So, you know, the rinks were, you know, really good. The ice was choppy one day afterwards and you're like, ⁓ boy. And you thought the ice was just gonna be really bad, but it it the girls didn't mind it. You know, they they went out and played. But the officiating wasn't the worst. ⁓ it was it was it was pretty good for the most part. They they called what they had a call. I only freaked out once. ⁓ I'm not gonna put it on out there, but it is out there in the in the thin couple couple text chains. But it was like an off sides and it was like three, two, one, and this girl took a high clapper right at Dylan and she came out, sh hit her right in the chest, she stopped it, and I lost my mind. I'm like, Hey, what the Whatever, right? Losing it and they called the penalty. I was like, ⁓ all right. So like my reaction was like her safety right away. Mark Riley: I heard about that one. Geno Binda: Unbelievable. Like just a like eleven years old and just teed it up. Like absolute seed. Like I was showing everybody this weekend at the Chowder Cup and they're all just like unbelievable. But yeah, it was a ⁓ yeah, the guy called it right away. Like nailed it. ⁓ like that should be a two and t it's a two and ten in college. I mean it should have been a two and ten here. ⁓ it was that bad. Like but whatever. We got the power play. Mark Riley: They called it. That which is good. And how the I was gonna say the competition, you said they were from all over. Geno Binda: But there were some good really good teams out there. Yeah, so what what what it is is like I cr I saw Chris Masters, he was out there and he's one of the founding fathers of it. ⁓ and they basically it's the equivalent of the brick, like you that the squirt brick ⁓ tournament that just happened up in Edmonton. So ⁓ it's basically the girls equivalent to that. It's a four year ⁓ cycle. You play, you know, your squirt two years of peewee in a in your banner. ⁓ so like ⁓ you go to Utah This year was Vegas, next year's Nashville, and the following years the Edmonton for the girls. So it's the Roses series for the for all like the the girls at the, you know, their age level. So like all the two thousand fifteens play together and ⁓ and that kind of stuff. So ⁓ yeah, it's like girls from, you know, you had Team Pennsylvania, Team Illinois. There was fourteen teams represented from all over Canada and US and, you know. It was very, very good competition. It's not like you're going out there like we smoked one team but everything else was, you know, really good competition, really good games and ⁓ you know, high level stuff, which was pretty good. Mark Riley: That's awesome. And and I'm glad ⁓ I'm glad to see ⁓ or hear the refereeing was was pretty good. Geno Binda: Yeah, it wasn't yeah, it was all right. It wasn't the like it didn't cost us any games. Maybe the the one game, I think that last goal we lost to the rattlesnakes by a goal. It was a really good game back and forth. And I think the last goal was offsides. It was like a two on one break. ⁓ girl might have been off sides, but I told Dylan she just needed to stop the puck. Mark Riley: Yeah. Hi. Geno Binda: It doesn't matter. Stop the puck. Mark Riley: Yeah, a couple of your latest videos out there with her dancing in between whistles and stuff. Just awesome. Geno Binda: ⁓ yeah. ⁓ that's only like that was only like half of them. Like she it was like yeah, she's funny in there. Like I tell her not to just I go, just don't stand there. I go move on your edges, like you know, you gotta your goalie gotta be agile. Move around. Be ⁓ be quick. Mark Riley: So we Geno Binda: But yeah, they lost in the quarterfinals to Team Alberta. They had ⁓ this girl in the white helmet. I don't think she got off the ice the whole the whole second half. We were up three nothing and then like they just came back slowly and you know they just we were they were too much for us. ⁓ she she literally won every single she took every draw. And if she was like if she she would take the draw and then get off the ice. And every time White Helmet was out there, you needed two girls on her, three girls on her. She was good. Yeah, it was a good competition. Mark Riley: Well, that's awesome. It's ⁓ now you had another trip ⁓ this summer or was that it? Geno Binda: ⁓ I have one more coming up. ⁓ we go to New Hampshire for a week. Lake Winnesquam. I'm gonna be floating in the lake and assigning hockey. So that's what I do up there. Or get videos going. Mm. Mark Riley: No, but no more tournaments though. No more tournaments for you and Dylan. Geno Binda: No, she's done I mean she she's been asked to play in a couple others, but we said no. ⁓ she's actually down the Cape right now with my in laws, which is good. and she might play in August and something with their Terrier teams or something, who knows? But ⁓ yeah, taking a little bit of a break. Nice. Mark Riley: Nice. Nice. Now ⁓ you mentioned the Chowder Cup was last weekend. ⁓ the senior chowder cup and this weekend. ⁓ I I ended up doing 10 games, which is incredible seeing that I haven't done ten games in a weekend in a long time. ⁓ but what was what was great was ⁓ I got to work with ⁓ Luke Galvin, ⁓ you know, a former guest and a buddy of ours. Geno Binda: In this weekend. Yep. Yeah, good shift. Yep. Any Yeah, no line brows this year. Mark Riley: Nope. We didn't have ⁓ it it was fun to work with him and also see the reaction of the players and coaches to, you know, both of us. You know, old school, you know, his helmet, I I think he got it in nineteen eighty five. I mean, you know, it's older than even some of the coaches, right? Is Jopha. And it's just interesting to see the the especially the players react to that and kind of ⁓ there's there's a certain Geno Binda: The old school That's the Gretzky ⁓ yeah. Mark Riley: I don't know. We talked about it. It's that kind of ⁓ aura of the kids know, all right, we shouldn't we shouldn't screw around, you know, not in this game. ⁓ and and for the most part they didn't. You know, it was it was ⁓ i i some of the games were really good, some of the games, you know, were blowouts. I think ⁓ we talked about how the Charter Cup changed a lot since back in the day when there was, you know, what it start with eight teams, I think, that were from all over. the countr of the world and then ⁓ you know went to mostly college and draft picks and then you know now it's just so many levels. There's just so many games and it must be a nightmare for you to assign ⁓ all. Geno Binda: Yeah, it is. It's logistically I I like hands like years past we've had ⁓ bring a lot of people in because the numbers right, and the numbers are good pretty good now. And we they they were down a lot of games from last year. So we lost you know, teams dropping out left and right and you know, then they added one and then they drop one. It's just like it's a logistical nightmare until like it gets in down and like I get the schedule out usually like the week off because I don't know 'cause we gotta get hotels, we gotta bring people in. 'Cause we also have the Beantown and we got a level tournament. The tropics have a tournament that weekend. So there's a lot of hockey going on and a lot of moving pieces. And, you know, you gotta balance it and you know I s I I s I gotta figure out a different way to fucking send it out. But like I said it out to the masses and you got like forty five people. And then you're like, okay, these guys are in and then they're not, and then you go to the next guy and then it's like and then then you got people that you're like, Hey, what about me? And then it's like go look at their their calendar or their schedule and it's just like, Well, you're not you're not open the whole weekend. You're only like half in. So it's like I don't know, it's just frustrating. ⁓ people just want you to work around ⁓ and it's just it's not possible. It's too much. ⁓ if you You're in the wave, you're in the wave. But I don't know. You I mean, you also gotta be available. Mark Riley: Well it Yeah. Well, interesting. ⁓ last Saturday, ⁓ there was you know, I had two games scheduled, Chris Henry. I was able to work ⁓ four games with him too. And ⁓ you know, the we think that the six ten is the last game and next thing you know, there's a seven forty that wasn't in ref's creeps system. The two teams are there, so I stayed did the first half alone and ⁓ and it was it wa i I gotta say it was fun. You know, it a good little skate, treating it like a three man. And the team I had was from Queb Quebec. ⁓ a lot of French guys on the team. And they were all older. And the coach before the game, I said, Hey, listen, I'm I'm doing this alone. You know, tell the boys no bullshit. And his answer to me was, Well, I can't guarantee anything. And I said, Well, what the hell does that mean? And he says, Well, you know, they're twenty year old hockey players, they're gonna do what they do. And I looked at him like, you're the coach. Like you just tell him no bullshit. And of course, what do you think happened? Bullshit. Yeah. Yeah. I end up ⁓ dismissing three of them. I I was I didn't expect that one. Geno Binda: Bullshit. Here we go. Go Mark Riley: God that you have the sound effects now. They're gonna sneak up on me. ⁓ my god. That's awesome. ⁓ yeah, I dismissed three of them. You know, because of being, you know, being stupid. Geno Binda: I don't mind drop in, Marty. So like I yeah. One year I was ⁓ it was the same thing, right? It's a Canadian team that come down, they're like it was ranked three and you know, ⁓ like ⁓ Mike's in there watching. ⁓ I walk in, me and Mike are watching the game together. And not you know, like legit there was a spam missed. However, there was a lot being called, right? And there was a lot of shit going on. Every whistle there was a scrum. Like there shouldn't be any scrums in July. Just like especially Why why are you there? Like are you there to sit in the penalty box for ten minutes 'cause you want to fucking scrum? Like it it's like some of the stuff is like so stupid. And so they're whatever, going at it. The the referees are rifling ⁓ They're play they're not sending the ⁓ getting the message from the referees. So they just keep ⁓ you know, launching ⁓ laying the hammer. And, you know, next thing you know, s there's a racial thing and a fight off the ice. So like I run over, Mike runs over. And this code starts getting in my fucking face. And I go, listen, pal. I go, not for nothing. I go, the referees haven't punched anybody, spared anybody, done anything. I go, look it. I go, every whistle is a fucking scrum. I go, this is a July summer turn of a showcase to show your skills. I go, You here to are you here to like, you know, for fighting or you here to play hockey? He's like, to play hockey. I go, Well, this doesn't look like fucking hockey. I go, me and him have been sitting up there watching this whole game. I go, it's a bit a fucking gong show. And I go, and the referees have been doing a good job. They've been calling everything. I go, so What the fuck do you want them to do? I go, They've been calling every single penalty that should have been called. It's a summer game. They're not calling hooks and holes. They're calling cross checks, punches to the face, grab ass and beacon. Like just just shut up and go play. It's simple. Every I I watched the game over there. That one, there's no BS. There's nothing after the whistles. How come here come over here and we got we got all this shit? ⁓ and then at the end of it the guy's shaking my hand, going, Hey, you know, whatever, right? And I go, hey, the referees ⁓ you know, they missed that spear. And I told them why they missed it, because it was behind the play. And the kid was a sneaky little prick. And I go, he wouldn't have saw it anyway. I go, would like it the referee shouldn't have been looking there or whatever, right? It was just like a a sneaky thing that was behind the play. And, you know, i you just get in like it's just people just it is pay so much money for these tournaments and they invest so much, like, you know, and then you factor in the booze and everything else that they're doing. ⁓ you know, I get it. I did it in Vegas. So it's like, you know, you have a pop or two and then you your energy's up and, you know. Whatever. Spent a lot to be there and all that kind of stuff. Mark Riley: It's it's amazing ⁓ how much hockey there is, first of all. But in that last weekend, what I found interesting, ⁓ because I had another coach ⁓ from Long Island, go figure. ⁓ their team and the other team was from Vancouver. And the Vancouver team, the coaches were fine. ⁓ one of the Long Island guys was fine. The other guy, of course, you know. was what he was, you know, ⁓ snarky and you know the whole thing and ⁓ everything was the other other team's fault. And at one point him he was chirping the other coach and the other coach came over and they're you know it's in Walpole where the benches, you know, they they're they end up standing off the benches in that little space behind the penalty box. And I'm like, what are you guys doing? You're the adults here. Like what are you doing? And and you know finally Geno Binda: ⁓ they're ridiculous. Mark Riley: logic took over, but ⁓ it it was just one of those things the teams were chirping each other the whole thing and you know ⁓ but Geno Binda: Did did you have any of those teams where like they had like six kids with like you know, the same like hat and t-shirt on and you know they were like they were all like twenty, twenty-one year olds coaching. Did you have any of those ones? And they all chirp. Mark Riley: yeah. Well that that that team, that Quebec team that I did, that, you know, I had had you you got ⁓ Mike there for the second half, but that first half, you know, they're they're all twenty twenty one. They all had the half shields on. They all think they're great at hockey. You know, one of ⁓ one of ⁓ started motherfucking me and I dismissed him. And, you know, of course he's going off and Another guy goes, this is a showcase tournament. I Yeah, you're showcasing your stupidity. That's what you're doing, you know? ⁓ and and thank you. well timed. Well, ⁓ you'll get a kick out of this. We had a we had a kid slash a kid, I mean tomahawk, five minute, right? Major. And then he cross checks the kid on the ice. So I give him seven minutes, you know, five for the the slash and two for the cross check. And the assistant coach can't understand. He's like, seven-minute penalty. I've never seen that. And I said, Well, I've never seen a unicorn either. So I guess you're beating me in life. Geno Binda: That's funny. He we we had that ⁓ sorry. Mark Riley: Dude, I was waiting. I thought you were gonna hit me w I thought you were gonna hit Geno Binda: Sorry, I wasn't Mark Riley: I set you up for that one. Geno Binda: I already used the drum rule too many times. I coulda Well, I was thinking of what to say I was gonna rebut, but Mark Riley: Yeah, you know. It's a new toy. All right. Geno Binda: No, like we had a se no, we had a seven minute no, we had a seven minute ⁓ penalty called in the final. ⁓ one of the finals. It was a you know, a late hit, like not really a late hit, but the kid took a hit along the wall, didn't like it, chased the kid across the ice, smokes him, so there's the minor. Then he had a slur on the way to the box, so there's your seven. ⁓ right? And then it's just like and I'm sitting in the corner with like this one of the fathers and he was like a soccer guy, so he, you know, he He got it right. And he like very cordial, no disrespect. It was just matter of fact and asked him questions and I was explaining what it was going on. And you know, right away, another big hit. Game got kinda out of hand a little bit. Another big hit. Scrum wrestling matches, helmets off. And you know, kudos like and then I hate when they run the time and end it. Like never do that. ⁓ so they started to do that and I'm like, Come on, what are we doing? So I Go over, open the door and Duggan comes over and was like, No. Hot coach says, I'm fucking embarrassed. We're out of here. Run the clock. ⁓ this game's over. We're conceding. Congratulations. Here's your trophy. ⁓ I think it might have been a semifinal, but ⁓ either one, but it it just call the penalties. Like if it warrants it, make the call. Mark Riley: Yeah, that's what you gotta do. I think I think where people get themselves in trouble sometimes because it's July, right? ⁓ they kinda let a little bit more go, especially in the beginning. And if you don't grab those ones in the beginning, that's when those games get out of hand. You know, if you don't get that cross check or that good flash, you know, in the beginning, that's when you set yourself up, you know? Geno Binda: Like the talking's enough, I guess. Dude, Jimmy Doyle and my father used to rifle people. Like me and Sweeney would like feel the games out and, you know, we'd work our way through it. And sometimes we got ourselves in trouble, but you know, for the most part we you know, early and often because the you set the tone. And if you don't set the tone, then you, you know, they're like, Okay, I can get away with it. I can get away with it. I just took this. Now I'm you know, and now now you just opened up the door for, you know, the rhetoric. And I I watched I sat with Kyle Robinson, one of the Junior coaches I've known for for years and years. And we reminisce about a couple of funny stories. But anyway, we're sitting up there watching this game. It was seven on one. This team smoking the other team. ⁓ something with the schedule got mixed up. So it was kind of like an mu I think it was actually an exhibition game, but ⁓ it so they they were like hooting and hollering, and every whistle, they're stabbing each other and poking, and you know, the the referees are just kind of separating them and you know, trying to manage it. And I'm like, It's seven to one. I go the second anybody on that team on the other side is acting up like you start rifling ⁓ because then I go, I'd be like, hey fellas, this is a point game. I go, you wanna you wanna s you know, you wanna get your name on the sheet for what? The goals are penalties, you tell me, right? And just you you try to talk to these kids and like work ⁓ and not just like it's more psychology with them than actual calling a penalty because you gotta like re reprogram their minds and why they're there and they don't want to get hurt over you know it's like it's it's it's July and you're gonna come in after the whistle late, grab a kid by the face mask, now you're wrestling and then boom, your leg snapped, right? 'Cause you fell. That happened to one of my buddies, ⁓ up in hockey night in Boston fighting, you know, me and him with Deepartons actually and he played at UMass Amherst, but ⁓ he was fighting a kid and the referee Brownie actually ⁓ fell right on his fucking leg. And I was in the I was in the net wrestling around with some kid. And you know, I mean it was a salty kid too. So like he's hobbling off and the kid that he just fought was there. So he started fighting him off the ice with a broken leg. Yeah, he didn't get enough Yeah. But you know that's like I mean that's what it leads to. Something stupid, right? Like these kids, like I mean even talking to like the father, like he was like you know, he's like Mark Riley: ⁓ With a broken leg. Checks out. Geno Binda: Man, they play so dumb sometimes, right? Just run reckless and I don't know. Mark Riley: Well we had we had that in one of the games where like the first three whistles were on the net, they wanted to be stupid. And the third one, we just you know, we gave a team a power play. And ⁓ the coach was like, Why aren't you matching that up? I said, Well, because if I if I do that, it's not gonna stop. So if you want to keep doing it, we're gonna we're gonna take one guy to the box. Someone's getting an extra one. And guess what happened? There were no more scrums. I mean, it's not you know, it's not difficult to figure it out, right? And ⁓ as you say, y you give a kid a break and next thing you know they come back and you know, and haunts you. Geno Binda: ⁓ like ⁓ we were like like you know, even like in that class, ⁓ like we had we had a camp on Wednesday beforehand, we had ice, we had Phil Garcia out there and we had a bunch of two hours of ice, which is really good. And then we had class and then we had him out in ⁓ skate in the junior highs. ⁓ it was their high end league. That was a really good, really good skate. ⁓ you know, but it just ⁓ just lost my fucking train of thought. ⁓ Mark Riley: Well, I'll give I I while you try to find that, I'll give Phil Garcia a shout out because he so my skates were killing me. I mean they you know they I think I got I think I got him. Sound effects are just straight fire. ⁓ I got my skates, the Nike Bowers. I think I got ⁓ in two thousand five or six. So that'll tell you how old they are. And my feet were killing me. So I went and saw ⁓ over at pure hockey and Geno Binda: Yeah. Mark Riley: He set me up with some new Bauer inserts. I got myself some new Bomba socks from Target. I'll tell you what, ten games I didn't have any foot pain. So ⁓ shout out to Phil and and the in the inserts. ⁓ got me through the weekend. Geno Binda: Fuck yeah. I got it back. So we were in the class and ⁓ you know, one kid goes, Hey, like it was like nineteen minutes in the first period on a penalty, like a major or something, right? And the kid asked, he goes, Hey, you know, just because it was like, you know, nineteen minutes into the game, like you consider not calling that a major. And I'm like, Why? And I was like, for a lot of reasons. I was like, one, do you want to keep that kid in the game? Now everyone's gonna go after him and your night's gonna be hell. Two Mark Riley: Yeah. Geno Binda: Make the call, doesn't matter when it is. And three, let the league figure it out when they're gonna suspend them or not. It's not your your problem. Just call call it what it is, right? Like in, you know, Atlantic hockey, we don't suspend people become under five minutes. Like if it was warranted, we would, right? If it happened in the first period, would you still suspend the player? Probably not. Then we're not s probably not gonna suspend them one minute left. Right? Like, yeah, it sucks, but you know That's that's the way it goes. Let's call the friggin' penalty. and your life is just a hell of a lot easier that way. ⁓ it saves you in the long run, saves you from trying to talk yourself out of something. Like, you know like even like when you're doing like these summer games and like you you call like a like you let a blatant off sides go. Like how can you defend that? Like you can't, right? It's just like just call the lines. Just call the ice ins, call the lines, like but unless if the ice and things understood like it was in hockey night years ago, like It was just every like the defenseman knew the goalie knew to play it, everybody knew to play it. And nobody got hurt. Everybody played it. It was just, hey, we wanna keep the games going because we're playing three twenties here with ICE and they take for four hours. You know. Mark Riley: Right, right. Well Luke and I joked it's summer rules, right? And and back in the day it was always summer rules. Now y you know, him and I I did it with Chris Henry. We you know, we played summer rules in the sense that the coaches know there's not gonna be any icing till, you know, the four minute mark and a tight game. ⁓ let the boys play, keep the puck moving. And not everyone can pull that off now, of course, but ⁓ we had it and ⁓ And it worked out great. It speeds up the games. I mean, it all right, I have two two things and and I'd love to get your input on them. First of all, these games are two twenty five minute halves in the chowder cup, right? With ice in between. Now, there's no way you can stay on schedule with that. There's the only way Geno Binda: ⁓ well you the only way you do if you get a runner. Mark Riley: Well, that's what I was just gonna say. If you get a runner or you get a game where you don't do the ice cut, then you can stay on time. ⁓ but it's almost impossible. Geno Binda: Yeah, there's some yeah, I don't know why some i trust me. ⁓ like my father said, you will can only do what they give you. Deal with the what what they give you, right? Like I don't make those decisions. ⁓ you know, we we just assign the officials ⁓ to what what they got. ⁓ we we give recommendations, like you know, we had like Bevis or there's drinks around here that constantly were going going over. And we're like, hey, you gotta give an extra fifteen minutes here because of these games. And you know, then you're in the ranks and you see why they're delayed and you're like, Jesus Christ, like, buddy, it's nine to one. Like, why are you arguing over goal with this referee right now? Like taking up everybody's fucking time because you're pissed off that you're losing nine to one. Like I like I've seen it. And I'm like yelling in the stands, going, drop the puck. Why are you talking to the coach? It's nine to one. Mark Riley: Yeah. Well that we it ran pretty much on time. We had a couple of good ones where they wanted to run the clock and and it worked out fine, you know. ⁓ really. Like the old Boston Garden back when they were playing every Geno Binda: The lights went out when I was in Canton. That was fun. Yeah. Yeah, they came Yeah, they came right back on though, which was good. Mark Riley: Was it mid play? Geno Binda: Yeah. Mark Riley: Nice. Geno Binda: Mid play. And then I couldn't even get my phone out quick enough and then it was ⁓ already kind of back on, so it was good. Mark Riley: Nice. Yeah, it was i it it's i i now I lost my train of thought. I was Geno Binda: Yeah, I just can't wait I just can't wait for this weekend to be over. Like just but then I got you know, we just picked up Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. I'll be in the rink two, ⁓ working that main camp with the Kings. Like that's gonna be a really good opportunity for a bunch of these guys. I get I just sent it out and you know, I got a I got a lot of a lot of TBA requests already for it. Mark Riley: What ⁓ and and that's ⁓ junior camp? Geno Binda: Yeah, it's their it's their main camp and ⁓ you know, they've been very generous this summer ⁓ with the referees and yeah, it's their main camp and they're letting us run three four band systems. I'll probably run four, I don't know. ⁓ like Tuesday there's not a lot of guys that jumped at it, but Monday and Wednesday we got a good group. And we're gonna have supervisors there and s you know, run ⁓ through, you know, in and out. We're gonna film ⁓ watch ⁓ coach ⁓ up, toss ⁓ back out. ⁓ that type of deal. Just to get them reps because, you know, season's coming quick. We need some fresh blood in there and there's like we we run a handful of these type of things like all summer. ⁓ you know, y we usually get a handful of kids and three I think three last year ended up working a final. ⁓ three or four of ⁓ work a final out of ⁓ in the in the juniors last year for it. Mark Riley: Very cool. ⁓ you know, I ran into ⁓ who was coaching one of the teams was our our buddy Rich DiCaprio. He had his he had his Rangers team up there. And ⁓ great guy. We reminisced about the coach's reeducation program game. ⁓ we had with his team and the avalanche. We had a good laugh about that. and ⁓ Geno Binda: ⁓ fuck. Speaking of coaches. I love Rich. She's the best. Yep. ⁓ Jesus Christ. I'm sure 'cause he was on the he was on the right side of that one. Mark Riley: Yes, he was. But he joked and said, I think it was what twenty seven penalties to three or something. But ⁓ they still lost. They still lost. They lost in a shootout. That's what he was saying. Yeah. Yeah. The avalanche that year were were very good. ⁓ but we had a Geno Binda: It was something and they and they and they still lost. Well, that team was a wagon though. Like his team was a w that that was a wagon. And that's what I don't get. Like just like shut your mouth. Like why like you're that good? Just shut up. Like why are you being a disruptor? Mark Riley: Right. Also saw Ryan McGrath, ⁓ from the Valley Junior Warriors. Now, here's a funny thing. So back in the day, well, back in the day, Luke and I, Luke Galvin and I, when we coached the ⁓ Boston Harbor Wolves in the old ⁓ NEGHL, yeah, Ryan was was ⁓ one of our players. And you know, he was he was a great hockey player, tough as nails. ⁓ Geno Binda: Love right. Lotta fun with him through the ⁓ I think I know this story. Yeah. Mark Riley: So he ends up coaching one of the games that Luke and I are refing on Saturday morning. So it's just kind of funny that, you know, he's on the bench coaching. We're out there refing. And Luke actually told him there was a kid on his team that, you know, he thought he was tough and try to act in tough. And Luke said to him, Hey, Ryan, you should talk to this kid about what a tough actually means because you were tough. This kid not tough. ⁓ but that was kind of cool that you know, full circle. Geno Binda: Yeah, right. Mark Riley: He he's on the bench and and we had a good laugh about that and Geno Binda: Nah, he's doing really good with Valley. ⁓ yeah, they got a good program up there. Mark Riley: Yeah. A great guy and and takes care of the referees. You know, always has you know what anything you need. Yep, pizza takes good care of the referees. He gets it. He's one of those ones that gets it. Geno Binda: ⁓ always make sure there's beer in the air. ⁓ yeah. We well, we used to go up that woodchuck tournament all the time and we was be like Kim, Macaulay, like all the coaches, like we'd all go out and just like rip it up and then like next morning like we're all we're all playing guilty. You know? It's like they're on the bench, we're we're we're out there right like, you know, and then they like they're yelling at us. I'm like, You would fuck off. I'm like, you what the Mark Riley: ⁓ That's old school, right? Geno Binda: ⁓ dude, there was one time up there, they ⁓ I think Macaulay didn't want it like it was something happened in the game. And they all get in a in a van to get like they were all staying at two different separate hotels and they the van picked up, you know, the refs and they picked up the coaches, and the coaches were sitting in front and the referees were in the back, no one was talking to each other, but the night before everyone was having a good time. Mark Riley: What? That's awesome. That's awesome. Well it it it Yeah. Geno Binda: It happened all the time, man, with those guys. It was so funny. They wouldn't talk to us for weeks. Mark Riley: You know what's funny? It r that reminds me of a story back in the day when Luke and I were coaching and we were playing down at West Bridgewater. And there was ⁓ Jimmy Byers was referee, who we both, you know, were good friends with, Luke and I. And there was ⁓ a little issue at the beginning of the second period, and you know, it wasn't it wasn't called properly because no one saw it. And that kind of set Luke off. And by the third period Geno Binda: Yeah, yeah. Well, that's right. Mark Riley: He hocked the crater pox out in the ice and water bottles flew. ⁓ more for the show of it, right? So ⁓ Jimmy, you know, comes over and I said, you know, I'll get him off the bench if if you'll talk to me. And then Jimmy skates away, and then I snap and go off. And so little do we know, the rink thinks this is gonna turn into something. So they call the cops. Well, the game ends and All of a sudden Luke and I are in the referees room with Jimmy having beers, you know, la having a laugh over the whole thing 'cause it was, you know, everyone got too emotional. The cop knocks on the door. Right. track the cop locked up knocks on the ref's door and he opens the door and he says hey ⁓ I heard there was a big problem with the ⁓ a couple of coaches and the referees and we were all like yeah and he's like well you know ⁓ do you know what happened we were like well it involved all of us we're good cop started laughing he was like they acted like there was gonna be a brawl and we were like nah we just got into the game we're good now ⁓ so it it's just kind of funny how Geno Binda: Yeah. Yeah, right. I can beat it. Mark Riley: Sometimes that can work and and other times not so much. Geno Binda: Dude, I I was young and I was I used to always go to my father's games and Tim Soglaski and my father we were they were in Rhode Island and they were in the locker room laughing, joking, fucking telling stories and like and then I'm like, you know, watching the game, I'm like playing mini hockey, paying attention to the game and like you can just tell like the the energy level just shifted in the room in the in the rink. And there's fights, there's all sorts of shit and Soglaski's yelling, ties off and fucking Swearing, calling my father a fat fuck, like all sorts of shit. And like I'm horrified. I'm like, ⁓ my God. I'm like, they were just laughing and joking. I'm like, I thought they were friends. I go, I guess they're not. I go, I guess they're not friends anymore. And then after the game, they're all in the fucking room, like drinking and laughing, and like I was like, What the hell? And my father's like, Don't you get it? It's all a show. Like, it's about like it is a show, but it's like that it's so true when Mark Riley: Yeah. Yeah. Geno Binda: You know, like that sheep and wolf cartoon. Hello Fred. Hello Ralph. Just check in, check out. Like I got a job to do, so do you. Like I mean, I went through like even like Ryan McGrath, like all those guys, like Macaulay, like all of ⁓ Like I've been, you know, you're friends with these guys through the years. Pinamas is another one, right? ⁓ you're like I was refing guys when I was like fifteen years old, right? Like lining. And then at eighteen you start refing and Mark Riley: Yeah. Geno Binda: You know, you're not only just doing their junior teams, you're doing their midget teams, their youth programs. So like like all these guys are invested in their programs. So it's like you know ⁓ from just growing up. And you know, it like you build the relationship with them. And at some point it's just like like Sean Tramble's another one, right? ⁓ he was great to deal with, like really hard. ⁓ he would he would start start on you and you know. The the best one was the nameplate one out one time in Marlboro. This guy forgot his nameplate. And he's all over this guy. Where's your nameplate? Where's your nameplate? And I'm like, Jesus Christ. I'm like, yeah, all he fucked that icing up. I was like, I'm kind of with you. And then he kept going and going. So I finally was like, Sean, cut the shit. He goes, Hey, come here. And I'm like, what? He goes, Your father told me to get on him. The kids knew. I was like, ⁓ Why didn't you tell me? I would've been in on the joke, would ya? Mark Riley: Right. Well, I I think that's one thing people don't really un ⁓ I I mean, unless you've been on one side or the other. But coaches and referees, you know, yeah, there are those times where you have that guy you you just don't like and they might not like you. But most times what happens in the inside the glass on the ice, you know, is is just what it is, right? It's the game. And then afterwards, you know, the ones that get it get it and it's over. And you know, you move on and and ⁓ we're all trying to do a job. Matter of fact, I had a good talk with ⁓ the Vancouver coaches. You know, I went over and I was talking to them and they, you know, they were appreciative that I went over and said hi and talked to them, whatever. And he's like, you know, he goes, Sometimes the refs it it's like them versus us. He's like, we don't want it that way. We wanna be able to communicate and you know, and know that if we have a question, you're gonna answer it, you know. And if we yell, you know, you know, you're gonna do what you have to do, but just be approachable. And and again it all goes back to the communication. Thank you. Geno Binda: Exactly. Exactly. It's so simple. Mark Riley: So simple. That was worth the applause right there. Geno Binda: I mean, that's what it's all about. And I hate the guys that just don't talk. Just sit there in silence. And then like the coaches frustrate and just builds and builds and builds. Like even if you give ⁓ a win or whatever, right? Or you just say, Hey, yeah, you're right about that. Like, yeah, well whatever. And yeah, you're right, they shouldn't have changed. Whatever. Anything. ⁓ just a little shit. ⁓ But I did I did break out my meta glasses during the tournament. So I had some it was it was good, but I don't know, it was like I don't know, you gotta like zoom in and stuff and when you recall like after the fact and it was good. I had some good pointers for some guys on it, but you know, just like little simple things, right? Like I like we had a heated final or a semifinal and scrum's left and right, and then all four guys are huddled. Mark Riley: Really? Geno Binda: talking at the referee's crease. It all fucking ten guys. There might have been twelve guys, fifteen guys on the ice just like huddled around the crease. I'm like, ⁓ this is gonna be bad. Mark Riley: Right. That's never good. Geno Binda: I'm recording I'm recording it and then I was just gonna post it but like I'm swearing through the whole thing. I'm like, Why the fuck is there so many And it's like I gotta I gotta overlay this I gotta over I gotta over audio this But then it's like then it's like too far but then when you zoom in, it's like blurry so you can't really tell but like you know, there's this kid that played in Omaha, he was like six something beast, like just thick kid, right? ⁓ Mark Riley: All your meta. ⁓ you're Meta Glass. Geno Binda: You he would have flattened anybody. It was just like why you you gotta pay attention to where he is on the ice all times. Like he was on the other side of the red line, yeah, like grabbing a kid. I was like, Jesus, come on. Mark Riley: All your medic All your metaglass videos are gonna have to have music played in playing over your commentary. Geno Binda: ⁓ the ones yeah, there was a handful of those in the video. Definitely. Mark Riley: I wanna Geno Binda: Did I send you did I send I s did I send you the one with the with the shot? Mark Riley: No, you didn't. I heard about it from ⁓ Chris Henry. I didn't ⁓ I didn't quite get that one yet. So That was ⁓ maybe we'll we'll put that in there. Geno Binda: Hang on, I'll just get you can you hear the audio? Mark Riley: Well we can put we can Geno Binda: You can hear the whistle and then you can hear the clap. Right? And you can hear it clearly well after the whistle. It was a absolute seed. And like I react immediately because I knew like I know I know what's about to happen before it happens. So it's like I'm like, ⁓ she's doing it. And as soon as she teed it up, I was already yelling. I was like, holy. Mark Riley: Yeah, you win that shot. That's ⁓ that's hilarious. We'll have to get that footage for sure. Geno Binda: Yeah, I gotta send that to you. That's a good one. No, we can't put that up. Mark Riley: All right. We won't we'll leave that one alone. ⁓ I wanna shift gears for a second. And I know ⁓ I know you didn't ⁓ get into it as much as I did with the World Cup stuff. ⁓ but the final, ⁓ Argentina and Spain, Spain beats them, and I'm sure Geno Binda: Yeah, I watched I watched ⁓ yeah, I I I actually paid attention to like the sixteen on in. That's when I really got into it. Caught caught some of the earlier rounds, but I wasn't dove in then yet. I like I like the sixteen and it's too much for me with thirty thirty two or whatever the hell it had. Mark Riley: Okay. Now Yeah, well, I think it's that it was forty-eight or fifty-two or something like that. But but ⁓ you know, it's funny because that Argentina game, the final, there was a lot of controversy with refereeing and the calls that were made up until that game with Argentina. And I thought the referee did a great job in that game. you know, and made some calls against Argentina, the red card especially, that Geno Binda: There you go, right? Mark Riley: ⁓ I think you know, and and apparently the reftica picked had some issues a few years back. ⁓ he ended up in jail for a little bit for being involved in a sting with you know, I don't know if was something with prostitution or whatever, but ⁓ he I thought he did a great job. I wa yeah, right. But I I thought he did a good job. Geno Binda: Teddy B, nine lives. Yeah. No, I thought it was well officiated. I watched so like we I was at the Chowder Cup, so for whatever reason, the YouTube TV wasn't working on my laptop. So I had two, I had both laptops with me too. And I ⁓ ended up watching on my fucking phone. But the big good thing about the best thing about the meta glasses was I had my phone up on the glass and I can listen to the game. Nobody like so there was like everybody that was around me and talking to me, but the whole time I'm listening to the game. And like and like I said ⁓ I said a couple of kids I was like, Hey, can can you hear my glasses? They were like, Hear what? I'm like, ⁓ nothing. No. Mark Riley: You're just Yeah. Geno Binda: No, and then I showed ⁓ they were like, Wow, that's pretty cool. Mark Riley: That is cool. Now, i after the game, what was your thoughts on ⁓ what the Argentinian players did? Geno Binda: How do you not get a shot on net? How do you not get a shot on net in a final? That's my takeaway. Not one. Mark Riley: Not one shot on target. Yeah. Well, I mean Spain really I think made him look like a J V team, you know, in a in a lot of ways. ⁓ you know, are those the meta glasses? Geno Binda: These are these are them. I look very sophisticated. Mark Riley: Yeah you do. You're ⁓ I I don't wanna say who you remind me of 'cause you probably get mad at me, but ⁓ I like him. Very stylish. Geno Binda: No, they're pretty good. Mark Riley: That's awesome. ⁓ Geno Binda: I mean I look ridiculous in the rink with them. I'm walking around with them on and I like people just leave me alone now. It's nice. I just like standing in the corner. Leave me the fuck alone. That was the thing in Vegas. We had our we had our corner. Actually I didn't even get into some of the the fun stuff. Like we brought the s the we gotta show these clips. We can show these ones. we brought the Scottish cones two Mark Riley: Well that's good. I think Geno Binda: Every goal. ⁓ we started like halfway through the tournament we started doing the cones every time they scored. And it was like a group of us with a couple of the teenage boys that were out there with us. It was it was friggin' hilarious. Mark Riley: That's I I did see one of those on ⁓ I think it was the Instagram, the cones on the glass. That was pretty good. That was pretty good. Geno Binda: ⁓ yeah. Yeah, there was some good good pictures and videos of those. ⁓ yeah. Yeah, that was funny. Mark Riley: ⁓ your team after after losing a game, your team didn't go over and abuse the other players like the Argentinians, did they? Geno Binda: No. They ⁓ they just wanted to go to the Yeah. They just wanted to go to the circus circus to go on the rides. Yeah. All the pool, yeah. Mark Riley: That was that was disgusting what what they did. They wanted to go to the pool. Yeah. Absolutely. Like it should be. Yeah. But what do you what I I just wanted to get your thoughts as someone who deals with ⁓ you know, ⁓ discipline and leagues and whatnot with what happened after that game. Geno Binda: ⁓ so the aftermath I don't even fill me in 'cause I kinda checked out as soon as the game ended. Like I don't even really know what happened. Mark Riley: Well i I mean well a lot of it di wasn't on T V. ⁓ I turned it off right away. I jumped in the shower 'cause I'd a I had a show to get to. ⁓ but you know, it one guy running by an Argentinian player, he punches him in the stomach and then kinda like a a melee, I mean not like a hockey brawl necessarily, but ⁓ one of the guys, you know, grabs grabs a guy by the throat, another guy gets tossed down. you know, the Argent the Argentine players just, you know, classless. Absolutely classless. and and and just being s sore losers really. Geno Binda: Isn't that the culture of the sport though? Isn't that doesn't that always happen in that sport? Mark Riley: I don't know if it happens with all the teams because there was a lot of I mean, for the most part, this world, you know, every game in this world c up a losing team, you know, they shook hands, they did, you know, they were pretty ⁓ respectful. ⁓ I mean, I I don't know if it's an Argentina Argentinia thing or what. ⁓ you know, but they they definitely the game wasn't called like games prior, like the Egypt game where they got away with a bunch of stuff and the England game. Geno Binda: Yeah. Mark Riley: You know, there was it was called differently for sure, and Messi didn't get the calls that he usually gets. Geno Binda: I it's just like getting I mean, just like anything else, it's like referee standards, right? Like especially when you get down to the nitty gritty, like the best of the best are are there and you know, sometimes they don't let the those those things slip that should be that should be called. And as you're getting down to those final final round games, I think the heightened awareness of, you know, prior to those games and, you know, days leading up to it, ⁓ I I'm I'm sure those guys are well coached up prior to them going out there and what to look for and you know everything should be buttoned up by the time they're out there and it should just be flawless by that. Mark Riley: Yeah, it was I ⁓ you know, as Messi as the you know, Messi's the captain. I just think he should have taken more of a leadership role and stepped in and put an end to the nonsense. But then, you know, they stand there with their backs facing Spain when Spain gets the trophy. It's like, don't be shore losers, you know? You lost. You know, just d you know, be athletes about it, be sportsmanship. You know, have sportsmanship. I don't know. It was it was especially on a world stage like that and so many people watching. Geno Binda: So you're saying it was a shitty ending to a Greek tournament? Mark Riley: Yes. Yeah, for one team anyway. You know? just i i i i and it was a great tournament. I enjoyed it. ⁓ I really did. And ⁓ I think a lot of I think you know, ⁓ soccer is the w world sport. Let's face it. Everyone plays it around the world. It's not the sport of America, but it definitely gained some traction, I think, here. and you know, I I think this World Cup i it definitely converted me into ⁓ a soccer fan. And, you know, and there's still stuff like PJ Thibodeau was on the last episode and talked about some of the stuff that you know, the flopping and all that stuff, but you know, ⁓ it was exciting. I enjoyed it. Geno Binda: ⁓ big time. Mark Riley: I don't even know what that sound is. Well Geno Binda: Right, turn the pa I don't know, it's like a it it's like a p it's like a cloud puff ball. It looks like ⁓ like you know like like a it it almost looks like a fot symbol. Mark Riley: So we we now have a Geno Binda: But it was like a transition. It says transition two, so I clicked it. Mark Riley: ⁓ it's kinda like turning the page or something. ⁓ I like it. Well, before we wrap up, I do wanna give a couple of shouts out to some some former guests that I saw last Sunday night. I was down the Cape for ⁓ Geno Binda: Exactly. We're turning the page on the World Cup. There you go. Mark Riley: You just you just love playing with buttons. Fuck. We know now. ⁓ last Sunday night I was down the Cape doing a comedy show for the Mark Bavis ⁓ Leadership Foundation golf tournament. It's their ⁓ twenty-fourth year and it it's the twenty-fifth anniversary of nine eleven. And if you you know if you don't know the story, Mark Bavis was on one of the planes. Geno Binda: I wanted to see what that one was. ⁓ yeah. I was a f freshman in college, man. Mark Riley: He was on he was on one of the planes with Ace Bailey that went into one of the towers. and his family, ⁓ Pat and and and Kathy, they do a great job. The ⁓ Mike, ⁓ his brother, they ⁓ they have the leadership foundation that gives scholarships to, you know, ⁓ different ⁓ kids that write essays and whatnot and ⁓ and and as to why, you know, they should be considered for for the scholarship. And They do such a great job. And I hadn't been down in a few years. and it was just awesome. It was ⁓ Lenny Clark was hosting, ⁓ Kelly McFarlane, Brad Mastrangelo, Harrison Stebbins, and myself were the comedians. And it was cool because I got to see Dave Gosher, former guest. ⁓ Bruce Cassidy was there. ⁓ Mike Ruzioni, all all former guests, including Lenny Clark, he was on too. ⁓ Geno Binda: ⁓ nice. Nice. Mark Riley: And and so it was kinda cool to see those guys and talk about the podcast. You know, last time I was down there we hadn't started it yet. ⁓ and ⁓ Teddy Donato was down there, had a good talk with Teddy where he's gonna be coming on. so it was really ⁓ it was Geno Binda: Hmm. ⁓ he got a new he got a new gig. Hut what did he say about his new gig? He's a great guy. I I love Teddy. He's class act, man. Like he was great to deal with behind the bench too at Harvard. Mark Riley: Yes. Yeah, we Yep. He was at Harvard for a long time and and I dealt with him in the ECAC too. He was, you know, ⁓ great great guy and assistant coach now for the New Jersey Devils, which is, you know, congrats to him. That was a a great place for him to land. And we had a great talk after the show. I hadn't seen him in a while. So ⁓ it was a great event and it's a great organization. So you should check it out. ⁓ the Mark Bavis Leadership Foundation. Geno Binda: Well yeah, that year. That's right. Yeah. Mark Riley: And and of course our buddy Brian McDonald, B Mac was down there. And Geno Binda: D Mac. Mark Riley: B Mac definitely deserves a round of applause. That kid is delicious. ⁓ love that guy. Geno Binda: So there's there's only eight of these. There's only eight of these, but there's an upload button. So I'm gonna be finding some noises. It might not even be like noises, it might be like soundtracks, like like movie quotes and shit. Mark Riley: ⁓ boy. You're gonna have all kinds of noises. All right. Well, you can play with them after we're done. How's that sound? Geno Binda: I'll have some fun with that. Good. We done yet? Mark Riley: Like a kid with a new toy. I love it. I I love it. I love it. Well, ⁓ apparently going forward we're gonna have a lot of sound effects. Like that one right there. ⁓ well, i great week. and we got another busy weekend ahead, so ⁓ that's gonna that's gonna wrap it up this episode. ⁓ little recap, you know, of the of the hockey tournaments and and whatnot, World Cup. So ⁓ Geno Binda: ⁓ man. Yeah, fuck. Another Mark Riley: Remind ⁓ wanna remind you to like and subscribe on the YouTube. Also, all our episodes are now on Spotify and Apple. We figured that problem out. So going forward, anything we do, yep, that'll be out there. Geno Binda: Yeah, nice job with that. I checked out that whole week. I like I don't think I opened my laptop the whole time I was out in Vegas. Maybe twice 'cause I had to make a change or something, but yeah, I I was too busy. Mark Riley: Yeah, I know it it it kind of worked out that we took a little time off because it gave me time to figure that out and ⁓ get ⁓ all out there. So all of them out there on Spotify, Apple or wherever, get your podcast. Like and subscribe on YouTube, follow us on the social medias, the Instagram, the Facebook, and of course Geno Binda: Yeah. The TikTok. Mark Riley: I knew one was coming. I knew it. ⁓ also check us out on chirping zebras dot com. And wanna give ⁓ a shout out to our sponsor, the referees, Chris, you one stop shop for all your refereeing needs. I thought the applause was coming on that one. That's your favorite one so far. I I of course like the laugh track, but that's me being a comedian. ⁓ Geno Binda: ⁓ I like the drum roll. Così deu. It's the longest one too. Mark Riley: Well, I'm used to laughter that lasts. So just gonna say that. That's all. ⁓ and with that, that's the transition. So ⁓ for Gino Binda, I am Mark Riley. ⁓ we will see you next time right here on the Chirping Zebras. Geno Binda: Good ending.
