- 0:00We're ready for higher silver prices and gold prices for that
- 0:04matter, but let's not hope. Let's look at some real facts
- 0:09that show us that that's indeed what we are in store for.
- 0:13Thank you for joining me here in the basement.
- 0:15We are the basement dwellers. We believe in the future of
- 0:19silver and gold because we understand history and basic
- 0:24mathematics. Guys, I was talking with Bald
- 0:26guy Money this morning. Great guy who I've known for a
- 0:29long time, one of the best YouTube channels out there when
- 0:32it comes to silver and gold. And we were saying like
- 0:36everybody who's wanted to sell their silver.
- 0:39And I don't want to put words in his mouth, but as I remember it,
- 0:41anybody who's wanted to sell their silver, it's $70 has sold
- 0:46it. This has been going on for four
- 0:49months. We've been consolidating.
- 0:51It's unbelievable. And the other thing that we
- 0:54talked about that is so critical for us to remember is that one
- 0:58year ago today, we were at 3334 whatever, $35 per oz over.
- 1:04I think undoubtedly we're in for some great, great times heading
- 1:08into the future. And what's the big story now
- 1:11that everybody's talking about artificial intelligence, right?
- 1:16I mean, it really is near bubble level territories.
- 1:19I don't know. The top seven AI stocks make up
- 1:23whatever it is, 60% of the S&P 500 value.
- 1:27If you take like what the AI stocks have done out of the S&P
- 1:31500, a lot of stocks haven't really done anything.
- 1:35But here's where it gets real interesting about our silver and
- 1:40gold. The higher that bubble goes, the
- 1:43higher it gets. That'll be more money that can
- 1:47come into the silver and gold sector as a whole.
- 1:51Yes, the mining stocks, but also the physical metals.
- 1:54When this massive rotation goes from tech into commodities,
- 1:59they're calling that the commodities super cycle.
- 2:02Now you know what it's going to feel like?
- 2:04It's literally going to feel like to us like Niagara Falls
- 2:09trying to drain through that garden hose that you have in
- 2:12your backyard, right? It's going to be like trying to
- 2:15drain Hoover Dam with a garden hose, however you want to say it
- 2:19because guys, while the gold, you know, gold is the world's
- 2:22most valuable asset, last time I checked is big when you compare
- 2:26it to all the trillions of dollars make believe in the in
- 2:31the AI sector. We don't need a lot of that
- 2:34money, just a small little fragment of the AI money coming
- 2:39into in particular, the gold and silver mining sector would be
- 2:43like again, like Niagara Falls trying to drain through a garden
- 2:46hose. It's going to be wild.
- 2:48It's going to be exciting. Let's look at some more good,
- 2:50good news. Our friend Rashad.
- 2:52We love Rashad, right? Rashad is a very optimistic
- 2:56individual when it comes to the gold and silver price.
- 2:59Let's go see what Rashad is telling us.
- 3:01We need good news. We deserve good news.
- 3:04I know. Let me just say this first.
- 3:06It has been four months of consolidation.
- 3:08A lot of us, not me, not you, well, maybe us from time to time
- 3:13have grown frustrated with with what's going on in particular
- 3:17with silver. But Please remember, like we
- 3:20said at the beginning, most anybody who's wanted to sell
- 3:24silver, it's 758073 dollars. They sold, they're gone.
- 3:29They've been replaced by people who are strong handed when it
- 3:34comes to silver. They got whatever you want to
- 3:36call it, silver hooves. OK, they're going to hold.
- 3:40They're going to want to go forward.
- 3:41All right, let's go check on what Rashad is telling us.
- 3:44We love Rashad. He's a friend of the basement,
- 3:47that's for sure. And here it is, short and
- 3:50simple. Silver should would be starting
- 3:53a rally anytime in my opinion. If my expectations materialize,
- 3:59the silver is going to be the mother of all rallies into the
- 4:03summer of 2026. I know we've seen it a zillion
- 4:07times. What do you call that?
- 4:08A wedge pattern. A triangle pattern.
- 4:10You know what? Let's, what do you say, basement
- 4:12dwellers, we'll come up with our own name.
- 4:14We're going to call that the sideways pyramid pattern.
- 4:17But don't forget again, OK, this is January, this is where we are
- 4:24right here. This period of time, all in here
- 4:28is four months long. And that's anybody who wanted to
- 4:32sell their silver, selling their silver.
- 4:35The beautiful thing that we love about Sideways Pyramid, sideways
- 4:40pyramid formations, the Egyptians built this one on the
- 4:44side, right? Is that luck?
- 4:46They come to a point, eventually this has to break out.
- 4:50Now we're getting near the bottom of that.
- 4:52But hey, you know what? On a serious note from technical
- 4:55analysis, the trend going into hold on here, let's fix that.
- 5:02The trend going into a sideways pyramid pattern is usually how
- 5:08it rectifies or how it resolves, right?
- 5:11Because we're either going to have to go down or up, OK?
- 5:15But since we were going up going into it, statistically speaking,
- 5:20and you don't have to be Albert Eisenhower with a degree in
- 5:24mathematics from MIT to know statistically speaking, this
- 5:29will resolve to the upside. No guarantees.
- 5:32Don't make any financial decisions based on anything I
- 5:34say or relationships decisions, anything like that.
- 5:38Although I think I made one of the best relationship decisions
- 5:41ever in the history. I know I did.
- 5:43I made the best. I got to tell you this, right?
- 5:4625 years ago, I was sad and lonely.
- 5:49I didn't know who I'd spend the rest of my life with.
- 5:51I did make the best relationship decision in the history of the
- 5:55world when I got engaged and married to the one and only
- 5:58upstairs. Susie, everybody please in the
- 6:00comments section, she's a critical point.
- 6:02I'm not here without her, so please tell her hi.
- 6:06I think I got her turned on. Did I turn you on this morning,
- 6:09Susie? I said, did I turn you on this
- 6:16morning? Oh, yes.
- 6:19My walkie-talkie is turned on. OK, Thank you.
- 6:25We call her silver, Susie. We call her upstairs.
- 6:27Susie. All right, let's get back to the
- 6:29business here. The consolidate.
- 6:30Oh, this is interesting about the consolidation, the the
- 6:34torture that we've all been through.
- 6:36Oh, my gosh. Silver's only $76 per oz.
- 6:40Oh, you know, right. The torture.
- 6:42This is interesting. Let's check this out.
- 6:44We're having some fun today, guys.
- 6:47Gary Savage, the Savage said this.
- 6:51Don't worry, we're going to talk about what's stochastics mean
- 6:54because the weekly stochastics on silver reached oversold and
- 6:59have now crossed up. Gold has just barely crossed up
- 7:02and miners are on the verge. Previously oversold conditions
- 7:08are where, where, where rallies started.
- 7:11Easy for me to say. Let's look at his chart and I'll
- 7:13tell you what he's talking about this stuff down here, these
- 7:16lines that you see, right? That's the stochastics.
- 7:20And if you, as you can see, right in other periods in the
- 7:23past, right, we're we're down here oversold.
- 7:27We crossed over these two lines, blah, blah, blah, That means
- 7:31silver is going to go uppity, uppity, uppity.
- 7:34Now, in case you're wondering what stochastics are, I asked
- 7:39Gemini AI to explain it to me like a why was that on there?
- 7:43Get that OK, like a second grader, it said.
- 7:46The stochastic oscillator is a momentum indicator that compares
- 7:50the securities closing price to its price range over a specific
- 7:54period of time. It helps traders.
- 7:57We are traders, we're generational buyers of silver,
- 8:01but it does help traders identify overbought or oversold
- 8:05conditions by measuring the speed or momentum of price
- 8:10movements on a scale from zero to 100.
- 8:14So we have been the the key here and I forgot to share that.
- 8:18There it is guys. That's what I just read to you.
- 8:20You got to see it, but the key here on this chart, right, is
- 8:25that it shows momentum. And the other key to remember is
- 8:29this oscillates, right? It goes up and down, up and
- 8:33down. As you can see, it had been down
- 8:35and it's starting to head up, but it can never go above that
- 8:39because it oscillates within a range.
- 8:41The good news is, do you feel it?
- 8:44Are you ready? I feel it.
- 8:46I feel like momentum building, percolating right in the silver
- 8:52market, in the gold market, but more more so right now in the
- 8:57silver market percolation. We're going to talk about $300
- 9:00silver, the prediction from Michael Oliver in something that
- 9:05we never hear people talk about when it comes to these wild
- 9:09predictions for incredible price movements during the summer.
- 9:12Me personally, I'm not predicting $300 silver by summer
- 9:17or within the next months, but there are a lot of people who
- 9:20are and will run through that list as well.
- 9:23OK, let's move on to next. We're going to, OK, well, before
- 9:27we do that, we're going to talk about $8900 gold and then we're
- 9:31going to talk about a different analyst who's saying that we
- 9:34could see 15,000 two $22,000 gold before we do that.
- 9:42Thank you to 1st Mint for sponsoring Ron's basement.
- 9:46They are the silver exclusive men.
- 9:49That's all they do is make world class silver bullion products.
- 9:54They're owned by First Majestic Silver, so they mine the silver
- 9:58in Mexico. They send it to Las Vegas, NV to
- 10:01First Men and then it goes directly to you.
- 10:05It is beautiful, but I'll show you.
- 10:06Hey, it's time for show and tell.
- 10:08What do you think? I'm going to show you my all
- 10:10time favorite. This is just my personal
- 10:13favorite. I love the back of their Buffalo
- 10:15round. Look at that, see if I can get
- 10:17the light on there properly. Wow, It is absolutely beautiful.
- 10:23I love looking at this and when you hold silver in like the
- 10:26right light, you know, as you can see it reflects, it's
- 10:29beautiful. Check out first Mint at first
- 10:32mint.com. They got great prices, great
- 10:34selection, great service, great everything.
- 10:37Truly, truly 100% serious. When I say this, a premium
- 10:42retail experience and you can get the Liberty Bar right now
- 10:45for $2 off and you can get free shipping on orders over $299.
- 10:51And we are now going to talk about $8900 gold from Kitco, our
- 11:00friends at Kitco and one of my favorite journalist of all,
- 11:03Niels Christensen. I love that guy.
- 11:06Anyway, Golds Golden Decade enters a new phase with $8900
- 11:12target. This is this is from the In Gold
- 11:14We Trust Report, which is a massive publication that's been
- 11:19coming out now it's their 20th anniversary edition.
- 11:23It's a comprehensive report and it's titled Back to the Monetary
- 11:27Future. Ronnie Stoverly and Mark Valik
- 11:31explain that Gold's historic rally is not a speculative
- 11:35anomaly, but part of a broader re monetization trend by
- 11:40geopolitical fragmentation, de dollarization, inflation,
- 11:45volatility, and last but not least, mounting distrust in Fiat
- 11:51currencies. OK, but there's something very
- 11:53interesting that they said later in this article, oh, this, this
- 11:58is not it. But this is also interesting
- 12:00because like we talked about, we believe in silver and gold
- 12:03because we are basement dwellers, but also because we
- 12:06understand history, right? And what they say is the future
- 12:09of money lies in the past. All right, now they're all kinds
- 12:14of great stuff. But this is interesting.
- 12:16This is, Oh no, this is not it. But then we'll get to the
- 12:19interesting, more interesting thing.
- 12:21Our decade target. This is their target of $4800 by
- 12:262030. They they said that in their
- 12:292020 in Gold We trust report people said they were crazy.
- 12:33OK, well that's already been a reality in 2026.
- 12:37We are now turning our attention to the inflationary alternative
- 12:42scenario. U.S. dollar $8900 gold price by
- 12:49the end of the decade. Now, let's go down here and this
- 12:55is a great point and we got some data.
- 12:57I don't know if I'm going to share it with you today or
- 12:58tomorrow, but this is true. Gold right now is anything but a
- 13:03crowded trade. On the contrary, it's like a
- 13:06party where the first guests are now just starting to arrive.
- 13:12And guys that is, is can be can be seen in the numbers.
- 13:17When you look at the GLDETF which holds physical gold and
- 13:22you compare right gold ET FS as a percentage of all ET FS out
- 13:27there in the world, it's like it like 2% right now.
- 13:31Just back in 2011, it was like it 8%.
- 13:34What that tells us, right, is that we still have not seen this
- 13:39wave of people coming into the gold and silver sector like we
- 13:44talked about at the beginning of this here live stream that we're
- 13:47enjoying together. Thank you for being here, by the
- 13:50way. Oh, before I forget, upstairs
- 13:52Susie will lock the basement door if I don't tell you.
- 13:55Please subscribe to the channel. And more importantly, 'cause she
- 13:58gets a big kick out of this, give this video a thumbs up.
- 14:04What was I saying? Oh, darn it.
- 14:05Oh, yeah. When the AI people that the
- 14:08party's just getting started or however you want to say it.
- 14:10We're in the second inning of a nine inning baseball game,
- 14:14right? Which is good for us because
- 14:16guys, like with the AI, when just a little bit of that money
- 14:20comes into gold and silver, it's going to be crazy.
- 14:22OK, now you want to hear about 15 to $22,000 gold?
- 14:27I have a little. It's a it's movie day.
- 14:29Remember when you were a kid in grade school?
- 14:32If you're like me and you grew up in the 70s and be like it was
- 14:34a big deal. I went to a Catholic grade
- 14:36school when we got the nun would come in with the cart with the
- 14:39projector and we get to watch them crazy after I don't know
- 14:42whatever right you can do it Duffy Moon.
- 14:45Remember that one anyway, we're going to watch a movie about 15
- 14:49to $22,000. I'm going to wheel the card in.
- 14:52You better be good students. But before we do that, we are
- 14:56going to say thank you. On a very serious note, the
- 14:58First Mining gold for sponsoring Ron's basement guys.
- 15:02One of my very first YouTube videos that I ever made was
- 15:06about First Mining Gold. The stock I've owned for a long
- 15:09time, long before they sponsored the channel.
- 15:11What's exciting about them is they have two huge multi million
- 15:15ounce development stage gold projects, not in some far-flung
- 15:20place you've never heard of, but in Canada, a great jurisdiction
- 15:25Spring poll in Ontario and Duparque located in Quebec.
- 15:30You can learn more about them at their website
- 15:32firstmininggold.com. Always remember, when it comes
- 15:36to silver, gold, real estate, stocks, bonds, mutual funds,
- 15:39relationships, whatever, I'm not a professional advisor.
- 15:44Always do your own research and please, no matter what you do,
- 15:48please, OK, whether precious metals stocks, always be
- 15:52responsible. Don't expose yourself to too
- 15:55much risk. OK, Now let's go watch a movie.
- 15:59In this movie comes from, I think it is Miles Franklin
- 16:04Media. Yes, Michelle McCrory.
- 16:06That is Andy Scheckman's company.
- 16:09And this is Luke Groman, who's going to talk to us about his
- 16:13ideas about where gold is heading.
- 16:16Imagine where silver could be if we get to.
- 16:20There we are. OK, hold on.
- 16:23Let me go back. Make sure there's Michelle
- 16:25McCrory, Luke Roman, and this is Miles Franklin Media.
- 16:29All right, now, everybody loves Andy Scheckman.
- 16:32Everybody loves Miles Franklin. Here we go.
- 16:34Let's listen, though, to Luke Roman talk about where Gold's
- 16:37going. And does that move us towards a
- 16:39gold revaluation Last time? Last time we spoke, you said
- 16:43that you thought that that was quite probable in the not too
- 16:48distant future. What's your take on that now?
- 16:50I think it still ends up now the question is mechanics of it, you
- 16:52know, will it be sort of an overnight?
- 16:55I probably feel less confident about that.
- 16:56But I, you know, look in the last year gold went from 22124
- 17:01hundred to, you know, 5600 at the highs, but we're still up
- 17:04near 5000, right? So there's already been A at
- 17:07least some measure of revaluation that's taking place
- 17:11by virtue of of that move. I ultimately think it's got a
- 17:13lot higher to go though. How much higher?
- 17:17I think ultimately over the course of the cycle it finishes
- 17:20where it used to trade historically relative to U.S.
- 17:22Federal debt, right, Your foreign held federal debt.
- 17:24So long term the market value of US official gold as a percentage
- 17:28of foreign held treasuries has been between 40 and 60%.
- 17:31Today it's 13%. So assuming federal debt,
- 17:35foreign held federal debt never rises again, which is probably
- 17:37not a great assumption, but forsake of argument that tells
- 17:39you gold got to rise between 3:00 and 5X from here to get
- 17:42back to its long term historical average relationship relative to
- 17:45US foreign held treasuries. So what the 15,000 to 22,000,
- 17:49something like that, I think is ultimately by the end of the
- 17:51cycle, you know, where we'll where we'll see that shake out
- 17:53again. I don't think that's gonna
- 17:55happen tomorrow or next year per SE.
- 17:56But, you know, five years, six years, you know, I think that's
- 17:58where we end up. Whoa, did he just say that?
- 18:0415,000 to $22,000 gold from the man, Luke Groman.
- 18:11But he says within five to six years.
- 18:15But what I really like during that video is when Michelle
- 18:17McCrory says how high, like, put him on the spot.
- 18:23I love it. She puts out great content.
- 18:24Thank you. OK, gold bugs.
- 18:27Silver bugs. Are we the kooks, right?
- 18:29Hey look, a lot of you are like me.
- 18:31You've been in the gold and silver sector for a long, long
- 18:35time. We were sometimes called tinfoil
- 18:37hat conspiracy theorist, right? People in their basements in
- 18:41Saint Louis talking about the silver price going above 50 or
- 18:45$60.00 per oz. The reality now is this.
- 18:49We aren't the kooks. OK, this is shifting.
- 18:53We are now considered to be the irrational human beings.
- 18:57I heard, I think it was Matthew Pipenberg from the Gold
- 19:01Switzerland say that like everything is coming together
- 19:05and more and more people. Look when those people, I'll say
- 19:08it one more time. Some of those people that have
- 19:10their money and AI because AI is the future.
- 19:13And I do agree with that, but it's also a bubble when a little
- 19:17bit of that money joins us when those people wake up that used
- 19:20to think we were a little kooky, right when and we like to
- 19:23affectionately refer to those people as what if you're a
- 19:27basement dweller? You know, those are the the
- 19:32sheeple. It's going to be wild, OK?
- 19:35And you'll be like a hero in your family and your
- 19:38neighborhood. I'm going to go to the
- 19:39neighborhood pool tonight. I'll be curious how many?
- 19:42Zero. People asked me about silver and
- 19:44gold. But that will change, OK.
- 19:46And inflation is coming and we still have to talk about $300
- 19:50silver and a new factor. It's been around forever that
- 19:54nobody's talking about. But here's some proof.
- 19:56Inflation, OK, Another key thing that we basement dwellers know,
- 20:00inflation is the only thing that we need to worry about for the
- 20:04coming decade. All this other complicated stuff
- 20:07that we like to entertain ourselves with that whatever,
- 20:11you know, Wall Street, blah, blah, blah, that's whatever.
- 20:13The only thing, the number one driver in the coming decade will
- 20:17be inflation. Trust me, two years from now,
- 20:20we'll be sitting down here saying just like we in
- 20:22stagflation, like we talked about 3 years ago, which now
- 20:25everybody talks about. Inflation's all we got to worry.
- 20:28About let's look at some crazy 1 crazy graph that shows in no
- 20:35uncertain terms that that is where we are heading.
- 20:39I screenshot this from that guy Jordan Roy Byrne had it in a
- 20:44video. I want to give him credit.
- 20:45Hold on here. I want to make this a little
- 20:47better so you can see it and boom, there we go.
- 20:52This shows commodities OK versus CPI and the yellow line.
- 20:59As you can see, this goes all the way back to 2011.
- 21:04As you can see, commodity prices and inflation, right, they
- 21:08pretty much follow each other like perfectly until OK and the
- 21:14white line is CPI. Isn't it interesting that it
- 21:19went down OK, while at the same time commodity prices have
- 21:26absolutely skyrocketed? OK, look, you know, I'll
- 21:31speculate. Maybe there's a little
- 21:32massaging. I don't know.
- 21:34Do you think maybe, just maybe possibly I'm just speculating
- 21:39that this number, right, this low CPI is something that we
- 21:45might want to be a little critical of nonetheless, OK,
- 21:50they have a hard time. This number can be manipulated,
- 21:56all right, or it can be massaged.
- 21:57I'm going to say it, This number, the actual commodity
- 22:02index is much more solid, right? It's based on trading data from
- 22:07the major exchanges. So this right, Well, let me ask
- 22:11you a question. Do you think that this the
- 22:14commodity index is because eventually these two lines are
- 22:18going to come back together. Do you think that commodity
- 22:20index is going to crash down right, like all the way down
- 22:25here? No, of course not.
- 22:26Inflation's here, inflation's coming.
- 22:31But wait, there's more. Because the simple reality is
- 22:36we've not even felt the effects of the Iran war in the closing
- 22:40of the Straits of Hormuz. I've talked to very high level
- 22:43executives in the business world, in the in the investment
- 22:47banking world, and they all say the same darn thing, OK?
- 22:52It's not, we've not even really felt the effects of what's
- 22:55happened with the closing of the Straits of Hormuz.
- 22:58And all of this is coming together.
- 23:01Massive national debt, OK, A fiscal situation in the United
- 23:05States, OK, That is just disgusting on many levels, a
- 23:11situation that we are in right now.
- 23:13I don't like it. You don't like it.
- 23:15Thank you. President Nixon, thanks a lot.
- 23:17We appreciate it. You taking us off the gold
- 23:19standard in 1971. But we've got a confluence of
- 23:23factors coming together, which I don't know, unless there's some
- 23:28otherworldly miracle that occurs, we are going to have
- 23:32much, much, much higher inflation.
- 23:35And the reality is very simple. the Fed will only be able to do
- 23:40one thing. They're going to have to print
- 23:42money to try to control interest rates, the long term interest
- 23:47rates. We saw a taste of that this week
- 23:49when the 30 year Treasury yield went to what, 5.19?
- 23:53I think we were live looking at it and it's back around 5%.
- 23:58But at the end of the day, the Fed's going to have to print
- 24:00money to monetize the debt. That means the Fed creates money
- 24:04out of thin air. They just press a keyboard, they
- 24:07print, they make more dollars and they use those dollars to
- 24:10buy long term Treasury bonds to keep the rates down because
- 24:15nobody wants them. As a matter of fact, I think
- 24:17hold on. Yeah, we're going to talk.
- 24:19We're going to show that later again here as well.
- 24:21And then let me ask you this question related to what we just
- 24:26talked about. When you think about silver and
- 24:29gold, are you going to trust, right, When it comes to store of
- 24:33value, the US dollar, are you going to trust the Fed?
- 24:36Are you going to trust Wall Street?
- 24:39Are you going to trust the United States government, right,
- 24:42to manage your financial future, the your financial security in
- 24:46the future? Me personally, all three of
- 24:48those have have kind of proven that I need to be very, very
- 24:53careful. That's a question you have to
- 24:54ask for yourself. But think again, think about it,
- 24:57OK. The Federal Reserve, the United
- 24:59States government and Wall Street, that's really who has a
- 25:03major impact on the value of what, what?
- 25:06What something's going to come floating across the screen,
- 25:09right? Oh, yeah.
- 25:10Paper money of the dollar. All right, let's, let's move on.
- 25:13We're going to go all over update $300.
- 25:15He's loving people. Love the guy.
- 25:18Great guy. From what I understand.
- 25:19I've never met him. I don't think I've ever had him
- 25:21on my show. But wonderful guy.
- 25:23We all know he has a bold prediction and he's not doesn't
- 25:28make bold predictions very often that we're going to get to $300
- 25:32silver by the summer. We're going to go to our friend
- 25:34Hanza, who brought up something very interesting.
- 25:37A very an astute observation. Mike Oliver still sees $300
- 25:42silver by summer and the most interesting part, he says the
- 25:47structure never broke. This is from a recent video that
- 25:50Michael has out not even after right, The structure supporting
- 25:55higher silver prices, $300 silver's not even after the
- 25:59brutal sell off and sell off. So we had post January 28th.
- 26:03January 28th is like a day that will go down in infamy for
- 26:06silver investors. War headlines, comex theatrics.
- 26:11We'll leave that one all alone. Stop loss rates and panic dumps.
- 26:16Why? Because every major breakdown
- 26:18failed. Silver broke support ran the
- 26:21stops and with ours it reversed back into a range and it said
- 26:25like ha ha, fooled you. That's what Michael Oliver said.
- 26:29That's not weakness, that's absorption.
- 26:31Meanwhile, don't worry, the the big cherry on top's coming guys.
- 26:35M2 money supply continues to explode.
- 26:38That exploded bond yields, exploded Fiat purchasing power
- 26:42collapse. Yet silver.
- 26:44This is the key that we don't talk about enough.
- 26:47Silver spent decades trapped under old highs while almost
- 26:52every other asset repriced higher.
- 26:55Oliver's point is simple in red, the longer a market is
- 27:00artificially compressed, the more violent the repricing
- 27:04becomes once reality breaks through.
- 27:07And that's exactly why stackers don't sleep on pull backs.
- 27:11And then there's a cool graphic that he made, right?
- 27:13This is the old day. Look at those dark hands keeping
- 27:17the silver price down for decades, right?
- 27:20And then silver broke through and boom, right, That's where
- 27:23we're going. It comes back to a very simple
- 27:27fact, right? That on the altar of truth,
- 27:30mathematics shows no forgiveness.
- 27:33You can't fight the natural laws of the market, supply and demand
- 27:38forever, right? It's like if you try to hold a
- 27:41beach ball underwater, that's what the situation we're in
- 27:44like, like they held the beach ball underwater for like 50
- 27:48years manipulating the silver price, and it kind of popped up
- 27:52back leading into January, but they pushed it.
- 27:54They got a little more strength and they pushed it back down,
- 27:57but eventually, right, the, the, the arm strength of those people
- 28:02at the COMEX gives in and the price breaks through.
- 28:06We forget about that, right? All the other, all the other
- 28:10commodities hit all time high levels, right?
- 28:13And silver just recently broke out after all those years.
- 28:18But the energy, and this is the key take away that was built up
- 28:22and I do I feel it. Do you feel the energy?
- 28:25I can feel it on this live stream, the energy that built up
- 28:30in the silver price over those 50 years, that natural market
- 28:35energy, right? It's like if you if you pull a,
- 28:38a, a, a, a young tree over and it's flexible is ready to spring
- 28:43back. Or if you want to think about
- 28:45that beach ball analogy that is real and we forget about that.
- 28:48We look at the short term charts, we look at the sideways
- 28:51pyramid chart that we looked at earlier.
- 28:53But the reality, guys, is that there is a ton of energy still
- 28:58stored in the silver price. I feel it.
- 29:02I believe I do not have a crystal ball.
- 29:05Again, be careful, be responsible.
- 29:08But this idea that we could see a catapult price higher in the
- 29:12silver price as we approach what, the final seven months of
- 29:16the year, I think it's real. I think it could happen.
- 29:18It's not just Michael Oliver. Let's do a quick review of other
- 29:21people who have mentioned much, much, much higher.
- 29:25Excuse me, silver prices. David Hunter, who's been on Wall
- 29:30Street for 49 years, last I heard coming up on 50 years,
- 29:34he's talking about $180 silver as his target, then a big
- 29:39pullback, but then much, much higher prices which I believe or
- 29:43even higher than $300. Alastair McLeod has talked about
- 29:46$300 silver. James Anderson, if I remember
- 29:49this correctly from SD Bullion has it says that this great
- 29:54statistic that if you take out, if you, if you erase like the
- 29:58COMEX trading of silver, take that out of the price data that
- 30:02we would already be a $300 silver.
- 30:04Heck, if you adjust the 1980 high of silver for inflation, we
- 30:09should be a $200 silver. So that came from the Bureau of
- 30:12Labor and Statistics. That's based on their data.
- 30:16Egon van Geyers from Gold, Switzerland, he, he's talked
- 30:19about silver outperforming gold. He mentioned $300 silver.
- 30:23Matt Pipenberg from same place, right?
- 30:25The man, the myth, the legend, the market sniper back dude,
- 30:30right? He's talking about it, Rashad.
- 30:34And of course, the most, most important person out there.
- 30:38I don't want to put words into your mouth, but do you believe
- 30:41in $300 silver? I don't.
- 30:43Again, I'm not it'll be great. I'll be super happy.
- 30:48I was talking with bald guy. I said this morning, bald guy
- 30:51money and that's a, you know, like, like and and again, right.
- 30:56Well, look, I don't think that it's going to happen this
- 31:00summer. Could it happen?
- 31:02Absolutely. OK.
- 31:04Will it happen at some point in the future?
- 31:07Absolutely. We will be sitting here in the
- 31:11basement together, US basement dwellers, talking about a $300
- 31:15silver price. Will it be in three months from
- 31:18now or three years from now or six years from now?
- 31:22I don't know. I don't really care because I
- 31:24know that that's where it's going.
- 31:26So yeah. But the most important person,
- 31:28of course, is you. All right, The gold powerhouse
- 31:31India, this is getting crazy. We aren't going to spend a lot
- 31:34of time on it. But the what's going on in India
- 31:38is very, very interesting. People are starting to pick up
- 31:42on it, including our friends at Kitco.
- 31:45Ernest Hoffman ran this article. India's new gold and silver
- 31:49import duties trigger cascade of impacts across metals and
- 31:55currency markets. It's a big long article with all
- 31:59kinds of different interviews and data talking to people in
- 32:02the Jewel Jewelry's huge gold and silver jewelry in India.
- 32:06But something very interesting in this article they brought up
- 32:10that I haven't heard anybody else talk about yet.
- 32:12And there's a cool graphic, right, that shows what's going
- 32:16on with India supply constraints, OK, The interesting
- 32:21thing is this, right? The one new thing that we
- 32:24haven't talked about yet, ETF premium risk, especially with
- 32:28silver, what they're talking about in India, because don't
- 32:32forget India recently dropped the London Billion Market
- 32:36Association, right? Is their pricing mechanism for
- 32:41silver, right? They're doing using their own
- 32:44pricing mechanism. They're also allowing their big
- 32:48investment products in India to invest into gold and silver.
- 32:54That was all big headline news, yes.
- 32:56And of course, since we're talking about it, they also
- 32:59monetize silver on April 1st when they change their banking
- 33:02regulations allowing people in India to use silver as
- 33:05collateral for loans. I mean, are you seeing this like
- 33:08they're collateralizing silver, they're pulling silver kind of
- 33:12into their monetary system? It's very interesting.
- 33:15But the big thing that came out in this article to us basement
- 33:18dwellers that we've not talked about yet is they're, they're
- 33:20saying now that there's a little bit more than speculation that
- 33:26there may be huge premiums on the Indian silver ETFs, Meaning
- 33:31people are going to pay way above and beyond potentially 4
- 33:36shares of the silver ETFs to get just to get their hands on some
- 33:41exposure. India is by far the world's gold
- 33:46powerhouse. I happen to think they're
- 33:48definitely one of the world's silver powerhouses.
- 33:51You can't screw with the system. I mean, the Indian people, I
- 33:56have a lot, I talked about the, they, they have a big distrust
- 34:01talk to, I've been neighbors, friends who are Indians.
- 34:03They have a huge distrust, distrust for Fiat and paper
- 34:07money. So we're going to keep a close
- 34:08eye on that. We're going to talk about why
- 34:10the Fed definitely is going to need to print money.
- 34:14We're going to talk about and then doom and gloom we got it's
- 34:17it is not pretty what's happening in the US marketplace.
- 34:21I also want to say thank you before we do that to channel
- 34:24sponsor Sugar Mountain Trading. Look up until 30 days ago, I
- 34:29bought my soap at the grocery store.
- 34:31I never used premium personal care products and Sugar Mountain
- 34:35Trading is a premium personal product brand.
- 34:39OK. They make handmade curated 100%
- 34:43natural, unbelievable great products soap, shampoo.
- 34:47They even have they even have therapeutic lotions that people
- 34:52rave about. You can learn about them at
- 34:54their website sugarmountaintrading.com and
- 34:57it's a special little treat for us basement dwellers right
- 35:00there. There's a discount code Ron 25
- 35:04yes, you can get 25% off family owned company in Mount Vernon,
- 35:09KY. Great people and they're also
- 35:12basement dwellers. They love gold and silver.
- 35:14That's how they heard about the channel.
- 35:15It's really cool for me to get to have a sponsor that's kind of
- 35:19been the consumer product sector, but they have a sponsor
- 35:22that I really believe in. I use these products.
- 35:25Here's one that I like their date night lotion.
- 35:27They got stuff for men, women. Go check them out and don't
- 35:30forget Ron 25, you will get a 25% discount.
- 35:34Why is the Fed I'm, I don't know, I got I'm I'm going to
- 35:37learn about this too. Why is the Fed inevitably going
- 35:40to need to print money? Oh we'll go to medals and
- 35:43miners. They knock it out of the park.
- 35:45Great videos as well but this comes from their their sub stack
- 35:52de dollarization in real time. OK China selling U.S.
- 35:57Treasuries. 240 billion total treasuries dumped in a month and
- 36:03total and the mechanics of the self reinforcing doom loop that
- 36:06ends with the Fed as buyer of last resort.
- 36:10That's what we talked about earlier the Fed needing to print
- 36:14money. OK and we looked at this
- 36:15yesterday. That's that's the that's the
- 36:18Chinese holdings of U.S. Treasuries went from 1.2
- 36:22trillion just what 12 years ago, probably even 10 years ago in
- 36:262016 down to a little over 600 billion in a single month.
- 36:31This is this is crazy, guys. Foreign holdings of U.S.
- 36:35Treasuries plummeted by 240 billion, dropping from 9/9 and
- 36:391/2 trillion to 9.25 trillion. This is not a routine portfolio.
- 36:45Rebalancing is a defensive liquidation triggered by the
- 36:48Middle East oil crisis and the weaponization of the dollar.
- 36:53China, Japan in Turkey led the exodus, selling off Treasuries
- 36:59to defend their own weakening currencies.
- 37:01China's holdings have now collapsed roughly 652 billion,
- 37:07the lowest level since 2008. When people Here's how it works.
- 37:12In case you don't understand, there's an inverse relationship
- 37:16between interest rates and bond prices.
- 37:18When people sell bonds, that makes the bond prices go down.
- 37:24Bonds are based on like 100 when they're issued, they're issued
- 37:27at 100. When people sell bonds right at
- 37:31less than their face value, that makes the the price of the bond
- 37:35go down. When the price of the the reason
- 37:37why the price of the bond goes down right below that 100
- 37:41because that's what you'll get back when the bond comes due is
- 37:45because as that price goes down, that makes the effective
- 37:48interest rate go higher and higher and higher.
- 37:51Don't worry if it doesn't make sense, we'll talk about it more
- 37:54in the future. OK so to keep the interest rates
- 37:57from going down, the Fed will print money and buy the bonds
- 38:02making the the price of the bond go up and up to keep the
- 38:06interest rates lower. But is an interesting side note
- 38:10to the Fed printing money that will make the value of the
- 38:12dollar go down, which will will make the mother of all forces
- 38:16that we talk about every live stream inflation go up and up.
- 38:21The value of the dollar going down is the exact same thing as
- 38:25inflation going up. Get ready for it.
- 38:27It will be the driver of the precious metals prices.
- 38:30And you're going to hear me talk about it approximately
- 38:3316,000,000 more times in the coming year, right?
- 38:36Let's talk about when you're done, let's say hi to the
- 38:38teacher and ring the bell because he got 200.
- 38:43OK, cool. You want to say hi to everybody
- 38:45yourself right now? Let them hear your beautiful
- 38:47voice. I've been chatting away in the
- 38:50nice chat box so I've been saying hi to everyone, but happy
- 38:54Saturday and happy Memorial Day weekend for those in the US.
- 39:00That's upstairs, Susie. She's like, remember the teacher
- 39:02on Charlie Brown that you never saw?
- 39:06She is real. She does exist.
- 39:08Although I do have plans in the future to replace her with a
- 39:11robot, but we'll see how that works out.
- 39:13I don't think that's going to happen.
- 39:14Lovely and talented upstairs. Susie.
- 39:15Oh, I hate to bring you down, but we have serious problems in
- 39:20the United States of America economy.
- 39:22Big cracks are forming. Let's take a look at this first,
- 39:26OK. Every little story adds up in
- 39:29this one we got late last week from the Wall Street Journal.
- 39:35It's a short one, but it's powerful.
- 39:38The Philly Fed survey that's from the Philadelphia Federal
- 39:41Reserve shows regional manufacturing stalled.
- 39:46The Philly Fed's monthly manufacturing business outlook
- 39:49showed its headline index falling to -.4 in May.
- 39:54I don't think a thing could go negative.
- 39:56There's some people working hard, blue collar workers.
- 39:59We love them. I was a steel worker when I was
- 40:01in college. All right, OK.
- 40:04I'll tell you more about that some other time, like when I
- 40:07wrecked a giant forklift and almost tore the whole factory
- 40:11down anyway. Growth growth, growth in
- 40:14manufacturing activity in the Philly Feds Region survey back
- 40:17in May pulled back in May, although firms remained
- 40:21optimistic about the forward outlook.
- 40:24The Philly Feds monthly Manufacturing and back index
- 40:28dropped to -.4 from +26.7 in April.
- 40:34Negative numbers indicate a contraction in the manufacturing
- 40:38sector that while we get this major headline that is not
- 40:43getting enough attention. As stocks hit record highs,
- 40:52Americans consumer confidence collapses to a record low.
- 40:57Take a step back and think about that.
- 40:59The stonk market, right, with the AI revolution right, is
- 41:03hitting record highs while Americans are saying, oh, we
- 41:08have absolutely no confidence in our economy.
- 41:12OK, the headline sentiment along with both current conditions and
- 41:16expectations all plunging to record lows.
- 41:21Kind of like the Philly Fed manufacturing index.
- 41:23I mean, look at that. See the red circle right there?
- 41:26OK, Yep, they say Americans have never been more miserable.
- 41:33Well, hopefully you're not joining us from the United
- 41:35States. But those of you that are like
- 41:36me, I can. I can attest to that statement.
- 41:40Black Friday? Nope, we were more optimistic
- 41:43after Black Friday back in 1980, Seven 911 that's was a nothing
- 41:49burger. All right, people were still
- 41:51more optimistic. The great financial crisis, just
- 41:55a flesh wound and yes, look, this data goes all the way back
- 42:00down here to let's get our crayons out 19 probably the
- 42:061970s. This is 1980.
- 42:09Yeah, right here. This is 1980.
- 42:13OK, guys, we, this is real, OK. And I mean, you would think that
- 42:19they they probably massage this data a little bit as well.
- 42:23This is where we are today. We have never, ever, ever been
- 42:29that low, OK? And they've been collecting data
- 42:32apparently since 1952. There's a massive disconnect
- 42:39right now between the Wall Street balloon and the Main St.
- 42:45misery going on in the United States, OK?
- 42:49And there are many different needles pointing at the bubble
- 42:54that is the US stock market. And the big thing to remember is
- 42:58that if we get a major correction in the United States
- 43:02stock market, OK, that will do that.
- 43:05Will the only thing keeping the economy look right alive right
- 43:09now and if you're part of it, good for you are the top 10%,
- 43:13the top 5%, the K shaped economy and the only reason they're
- 43:18feeling confident. If you do consumer confidence of
- 43:21the top five or 10%, guarantee you they'd be like at 99.
- 43:24Like everything is great. I just look at My Portfolio and
- 43:28I'm instead of having 2.3 million at the end of last week,
- 43:32now I got 2.6 million, right? Good for you.
- 43:35And if that's you, congratulations and all
- 43:37seriousness. But if that stock market
- 43:41corrects, that's going to wipe out, right one of the major, not
- 43:45three, one of the major 2 pillars that are holding up the
- 43:49United States economy. And then you know what's going
- 43:52to happen? The feds going to print money
- 43:55because that's all they know how to do, right?
- 43:57They're going to try to kick that can down the road a little
- 44:00bit further. OK.
- 44:02And one more big thing going on right now that I forgot to
- 44:05mention to you, but there's another hard data fact.
- 44:09A hard this this number can't be massaged is that people doing
- 44:14Google searches for I can't pay my credit cards are at an all
- 44:21time high. I don't want to be the bearer of
- 44:23bad news news, right? But guys, look and it seems
- 44:27like, you know, we've not really had any hard times in the United
- 44:30States, like really hard times for a long time.
- 44:33And I hope I'm wrong, but I really think that a lot of
- 44:37people who just been living in La La land, looking at their,
- 44:41looking at their four O 1K balance thinking I'm rich.
- 44:44All I had to do was put money in the stock market and I got rich,
- 44:48right? That there could be a big, big
- 44:51wake up call. I'm not wishing bad on anybody.
- 44:53We're just looking at the facts and the facts are downright
- 44:57scary. Now I'd like to say hello to a
- 44:59few of my fellow basement dwellers.
- 45:02And why are we basement dwellers?
- 45:04Let's remember, because we believe in the future of gold
