**$300 Silver!** 🐼🐼 Prepare to Be SURPRISED!... NEW Reason for HIGHER Gold & Silver Prices · SILVER / GOLD / $UFD: Surviving Global Economic Shifts | RONS BASEMENT

0:00
We're ready for higher silver prices and gold prices for that
0:04
matter, but let's not hope. Let's look at some real facts
0:09
that show us that that's indeed what we are in store for.
0:13
Thank you for joining me here in the basement.
0:15
We are the basement dwellers. We believe in the future of
0:19
silver and gold because we understand history and basic
0:24
mathematics. Guys, I was talking with Bald
0:26
guy Money this morning. Great guy who I've known for a
0:29
long time, one of the best YouTube channels out there when
0:32
it comes to silver and gold. And we were saying like
0:36
everybody who's wanted to sell their silver.
0:39
And I don't want to put words in his mouth, but as I remember it,
0:41
anybody who's wanted to sell their silver, it's $70 has sold
0:46
it. This has been going on for four
0:49
months. We've been consolidating.
0:51
It's unbelievable. And the other thing that we
0:54
talked about that is so critical for us to remember is that one
0:58
year ago today, we were at 3334 whatever, $35 per oz over.
1:04
I think undoubtedly we're in for some great, great times heading
1:08
into the future. And what's the big story now
1:11
that everybody's talking about artificial intelligence, right?
1:16
I mean, it really is near bubble level territories.
1:19
I don't know. The top seven AI stocks make up
1:23
whatever it is, 60% of the S&P 500 value.
1:27
If you take like what the AI stocks have done out of the S&P
1:31
500, a lot of stocks haven't really done anything.
1:35
But here's where it gets real interesting about our silver and
1:40
gold. The higher that bubble goes, the
1:43
higher it gets. That'll be more money that can
1:47
come into the silver and gold sector as a whole.
1:51
Yes, the mining stocks, but also the physical metals.
1:54
When this massive rotation goes from tech into commodities,
1:59
they're calling that the commodities super cycle.
2:02
Now you know what it's going to feel like?
2:04
It's literally going to feel like to us like Niagara Falls
2:09
trying to drain through that garden hose that you have in
2:12
your backyard, right? It's going to be like trying to
2:15
drain Hoover Dam with a garden hose, however you want to say it
2:19
because guys, while the gold, you know, gold is the world's
2:22
most valuable asset, last time I checked is big when you compare
2:26
it to all the trillions of dollars make believe in the in
2:31
the AI sector. We don't need a lot of that
2:34
money, just a small little fragment of the AI money coming
2:39
into in particular, the gold and silver mining sector would be
2:43
like again, like Niagara Falls trying to drain through a garden
2:46
hose. It's going to be wild.
2:48
It's going to be exciting. Let's look at some more good,
2:50
good news. Our friend Rashad.
2:52
We love Rashad, right? Rashad is a very optimistic
2:56
individual when it comes to the gold and silver price.
2:59
Let's go see what Rashad is telling us.
3:01
We need good news. We deserve good news.
3:04
I know. Let me just say this first.
3:06
It has been four months of consolidation.
3:08
A lot of us, not me, not you, well, maybe us from time to time
3:13
have grown frustrated with with what's going on in particular
3:17
with silver. But Please remember, like we
3:20
said at the beginning, most anybody who's wanted to sell
3:24
silver, it's 758073 dollars. They sold, they're gone.
3:29
They've been replaced by people who are strong handed when it
3:34
comes to silver. They got whatever you want to
3:36
call it, silver hooves. OK, they're going to hold.
3:40
They're going to want to go forward.
3:41
All right, let's go check on what Rashad is telling us.
3:44
We love Rashad. He's a friend of the basement,
3:47
that's for sure. And here it is, short and
3:50
simple. Silver should would be starting
3:53
a rally anytime in my opinion. If my expectations materialize,
3:59
the silver is going to be the mother of all rallies into the
4:03
summer of 2026. I know we've seen it a zillion
4:07
times. What do you call that?
4:08
A wedge pattern. A triangle pattern.
4:10
You know what? Let's, what do you say, basement
4:12
dwellers, we'll come up with our own name.
4:14
We're going to call that the sideways pyramid pattern.
4:17
But don't forget again, OK, this is January, this is where we are
4:24
right here. This period of time, all in here
4:28
is four months long. And that's anybody who wanted to
4:32
sell their silver, selling their silver.
4:35
The beautiful thing that we love about Sideways Pyramid, sideways
4:40
pyramid formations, the Egyptians built this one on the
4:44
side, right? Is that luck?
4:46
They come to a point, eventually this has to break out.
4:50
Now we're getting near the bottom of that.
4:52
But hey, you know what? On a serious note from technical
4:55
analysis, the trend going into hold on here, let's fix that.
5:02
The trend going into a sideways pyramid pattern is usually how
5:08
it rectifies or how it resolves, right?
5:11
Because we're either going to have to go down or up, OK?
5:15
But since we were going up going into it, statistically speaking,
5:20
and you don't have to be Albert Eisenhower with a degree in
5:24
mathematics from MIT to know statistically speaking, this
5:29
will resolve to the upside. No guarantees.
5:32
Don't make any financial decisions based on anything I
5:34
say or relationships decisions, anything like that.
5:38
Although I think I made one of the best relationship decisions
5:41
ever in the history. I know I did.
5:43
I made the best. I got to tell you this, right?
5:46
25 years ago, I was sad and lonely.
5:49
I didn't know who I'd spend the rest of my life with.
5:51
I did make the best relationship decision in the history of the
5:55
world when I got engaged and married to the one and only
5:58
upstairs. Susie, everybody please in the
6:00
comments section, she's a critical point.
6:02
I'm not here without her, so please tell her hi.
6:06
I think I got her turned on. Did I turn you on this morning,
6:09
Susie? I said, did I turn you on this
6:16
morning? Oh, yes.
6:19
My walkie-talkie is turned on. OK, Thank you.
6:25
We call her silver, Susie. We call her upstairs.
6:27
Susie. All right, let's get back to the
6:29
business here. The consolidate.
6:30
Oh, this is interesting about the consolidation, the the
6:34
torture that we've all been through.
6:36
Oh, my gosh. Silver's only $76 per oz.
6:40
Oh, you know, right. The torture.
6:42
This is interesting. Let's check this out.
6:44
We're having some fun today, guys.
6:47
Gary Savage, the Savage said this.
6:51
Don't worry, we're going to talk about what's stochastics mean
6:54
because the weekly stochastics on silver reached oversold and
6:59
have now crossed up. Gold has just barely crossed up
7:02
and miners are on the verge. Previously oversold conditions
7:08
are where, where, where rallies started.
7:11
Easy for me to say. Let's look at his chart and I'll
7:13
tell you what he's talking about this stuff down here, these
7:16
lines that you see, right? That's the stochastics.
7:20
And if you, as you can see, right in other periods in the
7:23
past, right, we're we're down here oversold.
7:27
We crossed over these two lines, blah, blah, blah, That means
7:31
silver is going to go uppity, uppity, uppity.
7:34
Now, in case you're wondering what stochastics are, I asked
7:39
Gemini AI to explain it to me like a why was that on there?
7:43
Get that OK, like a second grader, it said.
7:46
The stochastic oscillator is a momentum indicator that compares
7:50
the securities closing price to its price range over a specific
7:54
period of time. It helps traders.
7:57
We are traders, we're generational buyers of silver,
8:01
but it does help traders identify overbought or oversold
8:05
conditions by measuring the speed or momentum of price
8:10
movements on a scale from zero to 100.
8:14
So we have been the the key here and I forgot to share that.
8:18
There it is guys. That's what I just read to you.
8:20
You got to see it, but the key here on this chart, right, is
8:25
that it shows momentum. And the other key to remember is
8:29
this oscillates, right? It goes up and down, up and
8:33
down. As you can see, it had been down
8:35
and it's starting to head up, but it can never go above that
8:39
because it oscillates within a range.
8:41
The good news is, do you feel it?
8:44
Are you ready? I feel it.
8:46
I feel like momentum building, percolating right in the silver
8:52
market, in the gold market, but more more so right now in the
8:57
silver market percolation. We're going to talk about $300
9:00
silver, the prediction from Michael Oliver in something that
9:05
we never hear people talk about when it comes to these wild
9:09
predictions for incredible price movements during the summer.
9:12
Me personally, I'm not predicting $300 silver by summer
9:17
or within the next months, but there are a lot of people who
9:20
are and will run through that list as well.
9:23
OK, let's move on to next. We're going to, OK, well, before
9:27
we do that, we're going to talk about $8900 gold and then we're
9:31
going to talk about a different analyst who's saying that we
9:34
could see 15,000 two $22,000 gold before we do that.
9:42
Thank you to 1st Mint for sponsoring Ron's basement.
9:46
They are the silver exclusive men.
9:49
That's all they do is make world class silver bullion products.
9:54
They're owned by First Majestic Silver, so they mine the silver
9:58
in Mexico. They send it to Las Vegas, NV to
10:01
First Men and then it goes directly to you.
10:05
It is beautiful, but I'll show you.
10:06
Hey, it's time for show and tell.
10:08
What do you think? I'm going to show you my all
10:10
time favorite. This is just my personal
10:13
favorite. I love the back of their Buffalo
10:15
round. Look at that, see if I can get
10:17
the light on there properly. Wow, It is absolutely beautiful.
10:23
I love looking at this and when you hold silver in like the
10:26
right light, you know, as you can see it reflects, it's
10:29
beautiful. Check out first Mint at first
10:32
mint.com. They got great prices, great
10:34
selection, great service, great everything.
10:37
Truly, truly 100% serious. When I say this, a premium
10:42
retail experience and you can get the Liberty Bar right now
10:45
for $2 off and you can get free shipping on orders over $299.
10:51
And we are now going to talk about $8900 gold from Kitco, our
11:00
friends at Kitco and one of my favorite journalist of all,
11:03
Niels Christensen. I love that guy.
11:06
Anyway, Golds Golden Decade enters a new phase with $8900
11:12
target. This is this is from the In Gold
11:14
We Trust Report, which is a massive publication that's been
11:19
coming out now it's their 20th anniversary edition.
11:23
It's a comprehensive report and it's titled Back to the Monetary
11:27
Future. Ronnie Stoverly and Mark Valik
11:31
explain that Gold's historic rally is not a speculative
11:35
anomaly, but part of a broader re monetization trend by
11:40
geopolitical fragmentation, de dollarization, inflation,
11:45
volatility, and last but not least, mounting distrust in Fiat
11:51
currencies. OK, but there's something very
11:53
interesting that they said later in this article, oh, this, this
11:58
is not it. But this is also interesting
12:00
because like we talked about, we believe in silver and gold
12:03
because we are basement dwellers, but also because we
12:06
understand history, right? And what they say is the future
12:09
of money lies in the past. All right, now they're all kinds
12:14
of great stuff. But this is interesting.
12:16
This is, Oh no, this is not it. But then we'll get to the
12:19
interesting, more interesting thing.
12:21
Our decade target. This is their target of $4800 by
12:26
2030. They they said that in their
12:29
2020 in Gold We trust report people said they were crazy.
12:33
OK, well that's already been a reality in 2026.
12:37
We are now turning our attention to the inflationary alternative
12:42
scenario. U.S. dollar $8900 gold price by
12:49
the end of the decade. Now, let's go down here and this
12:55
is a great point and we got some data.
12:57
I don't know if I'm going to share it with you today or
12:58
tomorrow, but this is true. Gold right now is anything but a
13:03
crowded trade. On the contrary, it's like a
13:06
party where the first guests are now just starting to arrive.
13:12
And guys that is, is can be can be seen in the numbers.
13:17
When you look at the GLDETF which holds physical gold and
13:22
you compare right gold ET FS as a percentage of all ET FS out
13:27
there in the world, it's like it like 2% right now.
13:31
Just back in 2011, it was like it 8%.
13:34
What that tells us, right, is that we still have not seen this
13:39
wave of people coming into the gold and silver sector like we
13:44
talked about at the beginning of this here live stream that we're
13:47
enjoying together. Thank you for being here, by the
13:50
way. Oh, before I forget, upstairs
13:52
Susie will lock the basement door if I don't tell you.
13:55
Please subscribe to the channel. And more importantly, 'cause she
13:58
gets a big kick out of this, give this video a thumbs up.
14:04
What was I saying? Oh, darn it.
14:05
Oh, yeah. When the AI people that the
14:08
party's just getting started or however you want to say it.
14:10
We're in the second inning of a nine inning baseball game,
14:14
right? Which is good for us because
14:16
guys, like with the AI, when just a little bit of that money
14:20
comes into gold and silver, it's going to be crazy.
14:22
OK, now you want to hear about 15 to $22,000 gold?
14:27
I have a little. It's a it's movie day.
14:29
Remember when you were a kid in grade school?
14:32
If you're like me and you grew up in the 70s and be like it was
14:34
a big deal. I went to a Catholic grade
14:36
school when we got the nun would come in with the cart with the
14:39
projector and we get to watch them crazy after I don't know
14:42
whatever right you can do it Duffy Moon.
14:45
Remember that one anyway, we're going to watch a movie about 15
14:49
to $22,000. I'm going to wheel the card in.
14:52
You better be good students. But before we do that, we are
14:56
going to say thank you. On a very serious note, the
14:58
First Mining gold for sponsoring Ron's basement guys.
15:02
One of my very first YouTube videos that I ever made was
15:06
about First Mining Gold. The stock I've owned for a long
15:09
time, long before they sponsored the channel.
15:11
What's exciting about them is they have two huge multi million
15:15
ounce development stage gold projects, not in some far-flung
15:20
place you've never heard of, but in Canada, a great jurisdiction
15:25
Spring poll in Ontario and Duparque located in Quebec.
15:30
You can learn more about them at their website
15:32
firstmininggold.com. Always remember, when it comes
15:36
to silver, gold, real estate, stocks, bonds, mutual funds,
15:39
relationships, whatever, I'm not a professional advisor.
15:44
Always do your own research and please, no matter what you do,
15:48
please, OK, whether precious metals stocks, always be
15:52
responsible. Don't expose yourself to too
15:55
much risk. OK, Now let's go watch a movie.
15:59
In this movie comes from, I think it is Miles Franklin
16:04
Media. Yes, Michelle McCrory.
16:06
That is Andy Scheckman's company.
16:09
And this is Luke Groman, who's going to talk to us about his
16:13
ideas about where gold is heading.
16:16
Imagine where silver could be if we get to.
16:20
There we are. OK, hold on.
16:23
Let me go back. Make sure there's Michelle
16:25
McCrory, Luke Roman, and this is Miles Franklin Media.
16:29
All right, now, everybody loves Andy Scheckman.
16:32
Everybody loves Miles Franklin. Here we go.
16:34
Let's listen, though, to Luke Roman talk about where Gold's
16:37
going. And does that move us towards a
16:39
gold revaluation Last time? Last time we spoke, you said
16:43
that you thought that that was quite probable in the not too
16:48
distant future. What's your take on that now?
16:50
I think it still ends up now the question is mechanics of it, you
16:52
know, will it be sort of an overnight?
16:55
I probably feel less confident about that.
16:56
But I, you know, look in the last year gold went from 22124
17:01
hundred to, you know, 5600 at the highs, but we're still up
17:04
near 5000, right? So there's already been A at
17:07
least some measure of revaluation that's taking place
17:11
by virtue of of that move. I ultimately think it's got a
17:13
lot higher to go though. How much higher?
17:17
I think ultimately over the course of the cycle it finishes
17:20
where it used to trade historically relative to U.S.
17:22
Federal debt, right, Your foreign held federal debt.
17:24
So long term the market value of US official gold as a percentage
17:28
of foreign held treasuries has been between 40 and 60%.
17:31
Today it's 13%. So assuming federal debt,
17:35
foreign held federal debt never rises again, which is probably
17:37
not a great assumption, but forsake of argument that tells
17:39
you gold got to rise between 3:00 and 5X from here to get
17:42
back to its long term historical average relationship relative to
17:45
US foreign held treasuries. So what the 15,000 to 22,000,
17:49
something like that, I think is ultimately by the end of the
17:51
cycle, you know, where we'll where we'll see that shake out
17:53
again. I don't think that's gonna
17:55
happen tomorrow or next year per SE.
17:56
But, you know, five years, six years, you know, I think that's
17:58
where we end up. Whoa, did he just say that?
18:04
15,000 to $22,000 gold from the man, Luke Groman.
18:11
But he says within five to six years.
18:15
But what I really like during that video is when Michelle
18:17
McCrory says how high, like, put him on the spot.
18:23
I love it. She puts out great content.
18:24
Thank you. OK, gold bugs.
18:27
Silver bugs. Are we the kooks, right?
18:29
Hey look, a lot of you are like me.
18:31
You've been in the gold and silver sector for a long, long
18:35
time. We were sometimes called tinfoil
18:37
hat conspiracy theorist, right? People in their basements in
18:41
Saint Louis talking about the silver price going above 50 or
18:45
$60.00 per oz. The reality now is this.
18:49
We aren't the kooks. OK, this is shifting.
18:53
We are now considered to be the irrational human beings.
18:57
I heard, I think it was Matthew Pipenberg from the Gold
19:01
Switzerland say that like everything is coming together
19:05
and more and more people. Look when those people, I'll say
19:08
it one more time. Some of those people that have
19:10
their money and AI because AI is the future.
19:13
And I do agree with that, but it's also a bubble when a little
19:17
bit of that money joins us when those people wake up that used
19:20
to think we were a little kooky, right when and we like to
19:23
affectionately refer to those people as what if you're a
19:27
basement dweller? You know, those are the the
19:32
sheeple. It's going to be wild, OK?
19:35
And you'll be like a hero in your family and your
19:38
neighborhood. I'm going to go to the
19:39
neighborhood pool tonight. I'll be curious how many?
19:42
Zero. People asked me about silver and
19:44
gold. But that will change, OK.
19:46
And inflation is coming and we still have to talk about $300
19:50
silver and a new factor. It's been around forever that
19:54
nobody's talking about. But here's some proof.
19:56
Inflation, OK, Another key thing that we basement dwellers know,
20:00
inflation is the only thing that we need to worry about for the
20:04
coming decade. All this other complicated stuff
20:07
that we like to entertain ourselves with that whatever,
20:11
you know, Wall Street, blah, blah, blah, that's whatever.
20:13
The only thing, the number one driver in the coming decade will
20:17
be inflation. Trust me, two years from now,
20:20
we'll be sitting down here saying just like we in
20:22
stagflation, like we talked about 3 years ago, which now
20:25
everybody talks about. Inflation's all we got to worry.
20:28
About let's look at some crazy 1 crazy graph that shows in no
20:35
uncertain terms that that is where we are heading.
20:39
I screenshot this from that guy Jordan Roy Byrne had it in a
20:44
video. I want to give him credit.
20:45
Hold on here. I want to make this a little
20:47
better so you can see it and boom, there we go.
20:52
This shows commodities OK versus CPI and the yellow line.
20:59
As you can see, this goes all the way back to 2011.
21:04
As you can see, commodity prices and inflation, right, they
21:08
pretty much follow each other like perfectly until OK and the
21:14
white line is CPI. Isn't it interesting that it
21:19
went down OK, while at the same time commodity prices have
21:26
absolutely skyrocketed? OK, look, you know, I'll
21:31
speculate. Maybe there's a little
21:32
massaging. I don't know.
21:34
Do you think maybe, just maybe possibly I'm just speculating
21:39
that this number, right, this low CPI is something that we
21:45
might want to be a little critical of nonetheless, OK,
21:50
they have a hard time. This number can be manipulated,
21:56
all right, or it can be massaged.
21:57
I'm going to say it, This number, the actual commodity
22:02
index is much more solid, right? It's based on trading data from
22:07
the major exchanges. So this right, Well, let me ask
22:11
you a question. Do you think that this the
22:14
commodity index is because eventually these two lines are
22:18
going to come back together. Do you think that commodity
22:20
index is going to crash down right, like all the way down
22:25
here? No, of course not.
22:26
Inflation's here, inflation's coming.
22:31
But wait, there's more. Because the simple reality is
22:36
we've not even felt the effects of the Iran war in the closing
22:40
of the Straits of Hormuz. I've talked to very high level
22:43
executives in the business world, in the in the investment
22:47
banking world, and they all say the same darn thing, OK?
22:52
It's not, we've not even really felt the effects of what's
22:55
happened with the closing of the Straits of Hormuz.
22:58
And all of this is coming together.
23:01
Massive national debt, OK, A fiscal situation in the United
23:05
States, OK, That is just disgusting on many levels, a
23:11
situation that we are in right now.
23:13
I don't like it. You don't like it.
23:15
Thank you. President Nixon, thanks a lot.
23:17
We appreciate it. You taking us off the gold
23:19
standard in 1971. But we've got a confluence of
23:23
factors coming together, which I don't know, unless there's some
23:28
otherworldly miracle that occurs, we are going to have
23:32
much, much, much higher inflation.
23:35
And the reality is very simple. the Fed will only be able to do
23:40
one thing. They're going to have to print
23:42
money to try to control interest rates, the long term interest
23:47
rates. We saw a taste of that this week
23:49
when the 30 year Treasury yield went to what, 5.19?
23:53
I think we were live looking at it and it's back around 5%.
23:58
But at the end of the day, the Fed's going to have to print
24:00
money to monetize the debt. That means the Fed creates money
24:04
out of thin air. They just press a keyboard, they
24:07
print, they make more dollars and they use those dollars to
24:10
buy long term Treasury bonds to keep the rates down because
24:15
nobody wants them. As a matter of fact, I think
24:17
hold on. Yeah, we're going to talk.
24:19
We're going to show that later again here as well.
24:21
And then let me ask you this question related to what we just
24:26
talked about. When you think about silver and
24:29
gold, are you going to trust, right, When it comes to store of
24:33
value, the US dollar, are you going to trust the Fed?
24:36
Are you going to trust Wall Street?
24:39
Are you going to trust the United States government, right,
24:42
to manage your financial future, the your financial security in
24:46
the future? Me personally, all three of
24:48
those have have kind of proven that I need to be very, very
24:53
careful. That's a question you have to
24:54
ask for yourself. But think again, think about it,
24:57
OK. The Federal Reserve, the United
24:59
States government and Wall Street, that's really who has a
25:03
major impact on the value of what, what?
25:06
What something's going to come floating across the screen,
25:09
right? Oh, yeah.
25:10
Paper money of the dollar. All right, let's, let's move on.
25:13
We're going to go all over update $300.
25:15
He's loving people. Love the guy.
25:18
Great guy. From what I understand.
25:19
I've never met him. I don't think I've ever had him
25:21
on my show. But wonderful guy.
25:23
We all know he has a bold prediction and he's not doesn't
25:28
make bold predictions very often that we're going to get to $300
25:32
silver by the summer. We're going to go to our friend
25:34
Hanza, who brought up something very interesting.
25:37
A very an astute observation. Mike Oliver still sees $300
25:42
silver by summer and the most interesting part, he says the
25:47
structure never broke. This is from a recent video that
25:50
Michael has out not even after right, The structure supporting
25:55
higher silver prices, $300 silver's not even after the
25:59
brutal sell off and sell off. So we had post January 28th.
26:03
January 28th is like a day that will go down in infamy for
26:06
silver investors. War headlines, comex theatrics.
26:11
We'll leave that one all alone. Stop loss rates and panic dumps.
26:16
Why? Because every major breakdown
26:18
failed. Silver broke support ran the
26:21
stops and with ours it reversed back into a range and it said
26:25
like ha ha, fooled you. That's what Michael Oliver said.
26:29
That's not weakness, that's absorption.
26:31
Meanwhile, don't worry, the the big cherry on top's coming guys.
26:35
M2 money supply continues to explode.
26:38
That exploded bond yields, exploded Fiat purchasing power
26:42
collapse. Yet silver.
26:44
This is the key that we don't talk about enough.
26:47
Silver spent decades trapped under old highs while almost
26:52
every other asset repriced higher.
26:55
Oliver's point is simple in red, the longer a market is
27:00
artificially compressed, the more violent the repricing
27:04
becomes once reality breaks through.
27:07
And that's exactly why stackers don't sleep on pull backs.
27:11
And then there's a cool graphic that he made, right?
27:13
This is the old day. Look at those dark hands keeping
27:17
the silver price down for decades, right?
27:20
And then silver broke through and boom, right, That's where
27:23
we're going. It comes back to a very simple
27:27
fact, right? That on the altar of truth,
27:30
mathematics shows no forgiveness.
27:33
You can't fight the natural laws of the market, supply and demand
27:38
forever, right? It's like if you try to hold a
27:41
beach ball underwater, that's what the situation we're in
27:44
like, like they held the beach ball underwater for like 50
27:48
years manipulating the silver price, and it kind of popped up
27:52
back leading into January, but they pushed it.
27:54
They got a little more strength and they pushed it back down,
27:57
but eventually, right, the, the, the arm strength of those people
28:02
at the COMEX gives in and the price breaks through.
28:06
We forget about that, right? All the other, all the other
28:10
commodities hit all time high levels, right?
28:13
And silver just recently broke out after all those years.
28:18
But the energy, and this is the key take away that was built up
28:22
and I do I feel it. Do you feel the energy?
28:25
I can feel it on this live stream, the energy that built up
28:30
in the silver price over those 50 years, that natural market
28:35
energy, right? It's like if you if you pull a,
28:38
a, a, a, a young tree over and it's flexible is ready to spring
28:43
back. Or if you want to think about
28:45
that beach ball analogy that is real and we forget about that.
28:48
We look at the short term charts, we look at the sideways
28:51
pyramid chart that we looked at earlier.
28:53
But the reality, guys, is that there is a ton of energy still
28:58
stored in the silver price. I feel it.
29:02
I believe I do not have a crystal ball.
29:05
Again, be careful, be responsible.
29:08
But this idea that we could see a catapult price higher in the
29:12
silver price as we approach what, the final seven months of
29:16
the year, I think it's real. I think it could happen.
29:18
It's not just Michael Oliver. Let's do a quick review of other
29:21
people who have mentioned much, much, much higher.
29:25
Excuse me, silver prices. David Hunter, who's been on Wall
29:30
Street for 49 years, last I heard coming up on 50 years,
29:34
he's talking about $180 silver as his target, then a big
29:39
pullback, but then much, much higher prices which I believe or
29:43
even higher than $300. Alastair McLeod has talked about
29:46
$300 silver. James Anderson, if I remember
29:49
this correctly from SD Bullion has it says that this great
29:54
statistic that if you take out, if you, if you erase like the
29:58
COMEX trading of silver, take that out of the price data that
30:02
we would already be a $300 silver.
30:04
Heck, if you adjust the 1980 high of silver for inflation, we
30:09
should be a $200 silver. So that came from the Bureau of
30:12
Labor and Statistics. That's based on their data.
30:16
Egon van Geyers from Gold, Switzerland, he, he's talked
30:19
about silver outperforming gold. He mentioned $300 silver.
30:23
Matt Pipenberg from same place, right?
30:25
The man, the myth, the legend, the market sniper back dude,
30:30
right? He's talking about it, Rashad.
30:34
And of course, the most, most important person out there.
30:38
I don't want to put words into your mouth, but do you believe
30:41
in $300 silver? I don't.
30:43
Again, I'm not it'll be great. I'll be super happy.
30:48
I was talking with bald guy. I said this morning, bald guy
30:51
money and that's a, you know, like, like and and again, right.
30:56
Well, look, I don't think that it's going to happen this
31:00
summer. Could it happen?
31:02
Absolutely. OK.
31:04
Will it happen at some point in the future?
31:07
Absolutely. We will be sitting here in the
31:11
basement together, US basement dwellers, talking about a $300
31:15
silver price. Will it be in three months from
31:18
now or three years from now or six years from now?
31:22
I don't know. I don't really care because I
31:24
know that that's where it's going.
31:26
So yeah. But the most important person,
31:28
of course, is you. All right, The gold powerhouse
31:31
India, this is getting crazy. We aren't going to spend a lot
31:34
of time on it. But the what's going on in India
31:38
is very, very interesting. People are starting to pick up
31:42
on it, including our friends at Kitco.
31:45
Ernest Hoffman ran this article. India's new gold and silver
31:49
import duties trigger cascade of impacts across metals and
31:55
currency markets. It's a big long article with all
31:59
kinds of different interviews and data talking to people in
32:02
the Jewel Jewelry's huge gold and silver jewelry in India.
32:06
But something very interesting in this article they brought up
32:10
that I haven't heard anybody else talk about yet.
32:12
And there's a cool graphic, right, that shows what's going
32:16
on with India supply constraints, OK, The interesting
32:21
thing is this, right? The one new thing that we
32:24
haven't talked about yet, ETF premium risk, especially with
32:28
silver, what they're talking about in India, because don't
32:32
forget India recently dropped the London Billion Market
32:36
Association, right? Is their pricing mechanism for
32:41
silver, right? They're doing using their own
32:44
pricing mechanism. They're also allowing their big
32:48
investment products in India to invest into gold and silver.
32:54
That was all big headline news, yes.
32:56
And of course, since we're talking about it, they also
32:59
monetize silver on April 1st when they change their banking
33:02
regulations allowing people in India to use silver as
33:05
collateral for loans. I mean, are you seeing this like
33:08
they're collateralizing silver, they're pulling silver kind of
33:12
into their monetary system? It's very interesting.
33:15
But the big thing that came out in this article to us basement
33:18
dwellers that we've not talked about yet is they're, they're
33:20
saying now that there's a little bit more than speculation that
33:26
there may be huge premiums on the Indian silver ETFs, Meaning
33:31
people are going to pay way above and beyond potentially 4
33:36
shares of the silver ETFs to get just to get their hands on some
33:41
exposure. India is by far the world's gold
33:46
powerhouse. I happen to think they're
33:48
definitely one of the world's silver powerhouses.
33:51
You can't screw with the system. I mean, the Indian people, I
33:56
have a lot, I talked about the, they, they have a big distrust
34:01
talk to, I've been neighbors, friends who are Indians.
34:03
They have a huge distrust, distrust for Fiat and paper
34:07
money. So we're going to keep a close
34:08
eye on that. We're going to talk about why
34:10
the Fed definitely is going to need to print money.
34:14
We're going to talk about and then doom and gloom we got it's
34:17
it is not pretty what's happening in the US marketplace.
34:21
I also want to say thank you before we do that to channel
34:24
sponsor Sugar Mountain Trading. Look up until 30 days ago, I
34:29
bought my soap at the grocery store.
34:31
I never used premium personal care products and Sugar Mountain
34:35
Trading is a premium personal product brand.
34:39
OK. They make handmade curated 100%
34:43
natural, unbelievable great products soap, shampoo.
34:47
They even have they even have therapeutic lotions that people
34:52
rave about. You can learn about them at
34:54
their website sugarmountaintrading.com and
34:57
it's a special little treat for us basement dwellers right
35:00
there. There's a discount code Ron 25
35:04
yes, you can get 25% off family owned company in Mount Vernon,
35:09
KY. Great people and they're also
35:12
basement dwellers. They love gold and silver.
35:14
That's how they heard about the channel.
35:15
It's really cool for me to get to have a sponsor that's kind of
35:19
been the consumer product sector, but they have a sponsor
35:22
that I really believe in. I use these products.
35:25
Here's one that I like their date night lotion.
35:27
They got stuff for men, women. Go check them out and don't
35:30
forget Ron 25, you will get a 25% discount.
35:34
Why is the Fed I'm, I don't know, I got I'm I'm going to
35:37
learn about this too. Why is the Fed inevitably going
35:40
to need to print money? Oh we'll go to medals and
35:43
miners. They knock it out of the park.
35:45
Great videos as well but this comes from their their sub stack
35:52
de dollarization in real time. OK China selling U.S.
35:57
Treasuries. 240 billion total treasuries dumped in a month and
36:03
total and the mechanics of the self reinforcing doom loop that
36:06
ends with the Fed as buyer of last resort.
36:10
That's what we talked about earlier the Fed needing to print
36:14
money. OK and we looked at this
36:15
yesterday. That's that's the that's the
36:18
Chinese holdings of U.S. Treasuries went from 1.2
36:22
trillion just what 12 years ago, probably even 10 years ago in
36:26
2016 down to a little over 600 billion in a single month.
36:31
This is this is crazy, guys. Foreign holdings of U.S.
36:35
Treasuries plummeted by 240 billion, dropping from 9/9 and
36:39
1/2 trillion to 9.25 trillion. This is not a routine portfolio.
36:45
Rebalancing is a defensive liquidation triggered by the
36:48
Middle East oil crisis and the weaponization of the dollar.
36:53
China, Japan in Turkey led the exodus, selling off Treasuries
36:59
to defend their own weakening currencies.
37:01
China's holdings have now collapsed roughly 652 billion,
37:07
the lowest level since 2008. When people Here's how it works.
37:12
In case you don't understand, there's an inverse relationship
37:16
between interest rates and bond prices.
37:18
When people sell bonds, that makes the bond prices go down.
37:24
Bonds are based on like 100 when they're issued, they're issued
37:27
at 100. When people sell bonds right at
37:31
less than their face value, that makes the the price of the bond
37:35
go down. When the price of the the reason
37:37
why the price of the bond goes down right below that 100
37:41
because that's what you'll get back when the bond comes due is
37:45
because as that price goes down, that makes the effective
37:48
interest rate go higher and higher and higher.
37:51
Don't worry if it doesn't make sense, we'll talk about it more
37:54
in the future. OK so to keep the interest rates
37:57
from going down, the Fed will print money and buy the bonds
38:02
making the the price of the bond go up and up to keep the
38:06
interest rates lower. But is an interesting side note
38:10
to the Fed printing money that will make the value of the
38:12
dollar go down, which will will make the mother of all forces
38:16
that we talk about every live stream inflation go up and up.
38:21
The value of the dollar going down is the exact same thing as
38:25
inflation going up. Get ready for it.
38:27
It will be the driver of the precious metals prices.
38:30
And you're going to hear me talk about it approximately
38:33
16,000,000 more times in the coming year, right?
38:36
Let's talk about when you're done, let's say hi to the
38:38
teacher and ring the bell because he got 200.
38:43
OK, cool. You want to say hi to everybody
38:45
yourself right now? Let them hear your beautiful
38:47
voice. I've been chatting away in the
38:50
nice chat box so I've been saying hi to everyone, but happy
38:54
Saturday and happy Memorial Day weekend for those in the US.
39:00
That's upstairs, Susie. She's like, remember the teacher
39:02
on Charlie Brown that you never saw?
39:06
She is real. She does exist.
39:08
Although I do have plans in the future to replace her with a
39:11
robot, but we'll see how that works out.
39:13
I don't think that's going to happen.
39:14
Lovely and talented upstairs. Susie.
39:15
Oh, I hate to bring you down, but we have serious problems in
39:20
the United States of America economy.
39:22
Big cracks are forming. Let's take a look at this first,
39:26
OK. Every little story adds up in
39:29
this one we got late last week from the Wall Street Journal.
39:35
It's a short one, but it's powerful.
39:38
The Philly Fed survey that's from the Philadelphia Federal
39:41
Reserve shows regional manufacturing stalled.
39:46
The Philly Fed's monthly manufacturing business outlook
39:49
showed its headline index falling to -.4 in May.
39:54
I don't think a thing could go negative.
39:56
There's some people working hard, blue collar workers.
39:59
We love them. I was a steel worker when I was
40:01
in college. All right, OK.
40:04
I'll tell you more about that some other time, like when I
40:07
wrecked a giant forklift and almost tore the whole factory
40:11
down anyway. Growth growth, growth in
40:14
manufacturing activity in the Philly Feds Region survey back
40:17
in May pulled back in May, although firms remained
40:21
optimistic about the forward outlook.
40:24
The Philly Feds monthly Manufacturing and back index
40:28
dropped to -.4 from +26.7 in April.
40:34
Negative numbers indicate a contraction in the manufacturing
40:38
sector that while we get this major headline that is not
40:43
getting enough attention. As stocks hit record highs,
40:52
Americans consumer confidence collapses to a record low.
40:57
Take a step back and think about that.
40:59
The stonk market, right, with the AI revolution right, is
41:03
hitting record highs while Americans are saying, oh, we
41:08
have absolutely no confidence in our economy.
41:12
OK, the headline sentiment along with both current conditions and
41:16
expectations all plunging to record lows.
41:21
Kind of like the Philly Fed manufacturing index.
41:23
I mean, look at that. See the red circle right there?
41:26
OK, Yep, they say Americans have never been more miserable.
41:33
Well, hopefully you're not joining us from the United
41:35
States. But those of you that are like
41:36
me, I can. I can attest to that statement.
41:40
Black Friday? Nope, we were more optimistic
41:43
after Black Friday back in 1980, Seven 911 that's was a nothing
41:49
burger. All right, people were still
41:51
more optimistic. The great financial crisis, just
41:55
a flesh wound and yes, look, this data goes all the way back
42:00
down here to let's get our crayons out 19 probably the
42:06
1970s. This is 1980.
42:09
Yeah, right here. This is 1980.
42:13
OK, guys, we, this is real, OK. And I mean, you would think that
42:19
they they probably massage this data a little bit as well.
42:23
This is where we are today. We have never, ever, ever been
42:29
that low, OK? And they've been collecting data
42:32
apparently since 1952. There's a massive disconnect
42:39
right now between the Wall Street balloon and the Main St.
42:45
misery going on in the United States, OK?
42:49
And there are many different needles pointing at the bubble
42:54
that is the US stock market. And the big thing to remember is
42:58
that if we get a major correction in the United States
43:02
stock market, OK, that will do that.
43:05
Will the only thing keeping the economy look right alive right
43:09
now and if you're part of it, good for you are the top 10%,
43:13
the top 5%, the K shaped economy and the only reason they're
43:18
feeling confident. If you do consumer confidence of
43:21
the top five or 10%, guarantee you they'd be like at 99.
43:24
Like everything is great. I just look at My Portfolio and
43:28
I'm instead of having 2.3 million at the end of last week,
43:32
now I got 2.6 million, right? Good for you.
43:35
And if that's you, congratulations and all
43:37
seriousness. But if that stock market
43:41
corrects, that's going to wipe out, right one of the major, not
43:45
three, one of the major 2 pillars that are holding up the
43:49
United States economy. And then you know what's going
43:52
to happen? The feds going to print money
43:55
because that's all they know how to do, right?
43:57
They're going to try to kick that can down the road a little
44:00
bit further. OK.
44:02
And one more big thing going on right now that I forgot to
44:05
mention to you, but there's another hard data fact.
44:09
A hard this this number can't be massaged is that people doing
44:14
Google searches for I can't pay my credit cards are at an all
44:21
time high. I don't want to be the bearer of
44:23
bad news news, right? But guys, look and it seems
44:27
like, you know, we've not really had any hard times in the United
44:30
States, like really hard times for a long time.
44:33
And I hope I'm wrong, but I really think that a lot of
44:37
people who just been living in La La land, looking at their,
44:41
looking at their four O 1K balance thinking I'm rich.
44:44
All I had to do was put money in the stock market and I got rich,
44:48
right? That there could be a big, big
44:51
wake up call. I'm not wishing bad on anybody.
44:53
We're just looking at the facts and the facts are downright
44:57
scary. Now I'd like to say hello to a
44:59
few of my fellow basement dwellers.
45:02
And why are we basement dwellers?
45:04
Let's remember, because we believe in the future of gold
45:07
and silver, right? Because we understand basic,
45:13
basic mathematics and we understand history.
45:17
Math and history alone are the only two things we need to know
45:21
to see if I can get the comments up here.
45:24
Here we go to understand what's happening right now.
45:26
So I'd like to say hello to as many of you as possible.
45:29
What we love to do here in the basement is for you to leave a
45:32
comment with where you're joining from, and I'm going to
45:35
try to read as many of them as I can.
45:37
I'm going to be staring over there.
45:39
Come on, start typing. Tell us where you're from.
45:42
We're from all over the world. That's one of the great things
45:45
about silver and gold. It's valuable not only for all
45:49
time, right? Thousands of years, but
45:51
everywhere. And I'm waiting.
