• 0:00
SPEAKER_01: Hey guys, welcome to Housewives Goss and Glitter.
• 0:03
SPEAKER_01: Today we're going over Rory episode 9 questionably questionable behavior and questionable is accurate.
• 0:12
SPEAKER_01: Unfortunately, we don't have the peacock description, but let's be real, it was probably absolute shit.
• 0:19
SPEAKER_01: So just going with questionable makes way more sense.
• 0:23
SPEAKER_00: I did not know that we were calling it Rory.
• 0:27
SPEAKER_00: And when you called it that last week when we recorded, I was like, what the hell is she talking about?
• 0:33
SPEAKER_00: And now I'm really missing like so is that like a thing now?
• 0:37
SPEAKER_00: Or people calling it Rory?
• 0:39
SPEAKER_00: Okay, I did not know that.
• 0:41
SPEAKER_00: I cannot say that name.
• 0:43
SPEAKER_00: Anyone who has that name, I don't know if it's like this is a version of a New England accent that I have, but I can't say the name Rory.
• 0:53
SPEAKER_00: It just comes out weird.
• 0:56
  SPEAKER_01: Like cracker.
• 0:57
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's it must be a New England thing.
• 1:00
SPEAKER_00: Like wait, you say it.
• 1:02
  SPEAKER_00: Rory.
• 1:03
SPEAKER_00: Okay, so if I say Rory, does that sound it sounds like I can't pronounce the second R.
• 1:09
  SPEAKER_00: Rory.
• 1:10
  SPEAKER_00: Rory.
• 1:12
SPEAKER_01: Like, wait, how do I say it?
• 1:15
SPEAKER_00: Like it's just hard to say.
• 1:17
SPEAKER_01: Now you've got me question.
• 1:19
SPEAKER_01: Okay, well, Real Housewives of Rhode Island.
• 1:22
  SPEAKER_01: There we go.
• 1:23
SPEAKER_01: Is that short for anything?
• 1:25
  SPEAKER_01: Rory?
• 1:26
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, Real Housewives of Rhode Island are a name.
• 1:30
SPEAKER_01: Like if somebody was named Rory, is that short for something?
• 1:34
  SPEAKER_01: I don't think so.
• 1:35
  SPEAKER_01: Okay.
• 1:36
SPEAKER_01: Like Rory Gilmore and the Gilmore girls, isn't her name just Rory?
• 1:40
SPEAKER_01: I never watched that show.
• 1:42
  SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
• 1:42
  SPEAKER_01: It's been a really long time.
• 1:44
  SPEAKER_00: Alright, yeah.
• 1:45
  SPEAKER_00: So anyway.
• 1:47
SPEAKER_00: Kicking off to the actual show.
• 1:49
SPEAKER_00: Um, we're starting like post the epic showdown, and it's more like Rosie's Epic Takedown.
• 1:58
SPEAKER_00: Like they should rename that episode Rosie's Epic Takedown because that was just I still I still stand by that.
• 2:09
SPEAKER_00: That's the best housewives fight I've ever fucking seen, and she really delivered.
• 2:15
  SPEAKER_01: She did.
• 2:16
  SPEAKER_01: She more than delivered.
• 2:18
SPEAKER_01: And that's why I thought it was funny that the way this episode starts is Rosie is saging her house.
• 2:24
  SPEAKER_01: She's I know, and Clementine.
• 2:25
SPEAKER_00: The funny thing too is Clementine watched that whole thing go down in her basket.
• 2:29
SPEAKER_00: Like if I was yelling at somebody like that, my boys would be like dancing around my feet barking, and Clementine's just like I know.
• 2:39
SPEAKER_01: Let me try and rip this person's face off for you.
• 2:42
  SPEAKER_01: Hold on one second.
• 2:43
  SPEAKER_00: So exactly.
• 2:46
SPEAKER_00: I love how Rosie's like battle suit is like her tie-dye, like matching set.
• 2:54
  SPEAKER_01: Right, it's amazing.
• 2:55
SPEAKER_01: I really liked that set too, by the way.
• 2:58
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I mean, it's so funny.
• 3:00
  SPEAKER_00: It's so funny.
• 3:01
SPEAKER_00: But yeah, she's like singing, and then Kelsey gets in the car and she like immediately calls Liz to be like, poor me and give her side of the story.
• 3:12
SPEAKER_00: And like we get a lot of tidbits from this one call with Liz.
• 3:18
SPEAKER_00: She's like, I've I've only ever slept with six guys, but Rosie has slept with two married men, the basketball coach and another married guy, and the basketball coach paid her off to be quiet and blah blah blah.
• 3:35
SPEAKER_00: That's how she paid for her house.
• 3:37
  SPEAKER_00: It's like, Jesus Christ.
• 3:38
SPEAKER_01: I know the stage she broke up the like Rosie man.
• 3:43
SPEAKER_01: She was like a home wrecker, break the other marriage up.
• 3:46
SPEAKER_01: But is the other married man that she supposedly slept with, not the basketball co coach, but the guy that she worked with because she apparently like slept with someone at like the news station?
• 4:01
SPEAKER_01: Didn't Kelsey say that in a different episode?
• 4:04
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and I assume she was talking about the basketball coach.
• 4:07
SPEAKER_00: I didn't realize that these were two separate people.
• 4:10
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so no.
• 4:11
SPEAKER_01: So we get a whole lot of stuff in that quick little tidbit because I literally wrote two sentences, and those were the two sentences, and then something about the whole reason she doesn't like Rosie is because Rosie lies.
• 4:23
  SPEAKER_01: It's because she lies.
• 4:25
  SPEAKER_00: I just I don't believe that rumor.
• 4:29
  SPEAKER_00: I I feel like that's so far-fetched.
• 4:31
SPEAKER_00: Like the married guy or the and or the basketball coach, like she slept with them and then he paid her off and she's using that money for the house.
• 4:42
SPEAKER_00: I thought that that house was like part of Rich's like house flipping thing.
• 4:47
  SPEAKER_01: I don't that's what I thought too.
• 4:49
  SPEAKER_01: That's why I don't think that's why I'm like Kelsey, I think, is just dumb.
• 4:54
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, like that's just that's a stretch.
• 4:57
SPEAKER_00: Like, I just have a hard time watching Rich and Rosie and thinking that Rich would be cool, like accepting knowing like where that money came from.
• 5:08
SPEAKER_01: Especially because I like I love Rosie and Rich together.
• 5:12
SPEAKER_01: I think they're so cute, and she just has said numerous times that she's just obsessed with her husband, like she just loves him and is obsessed with him.
• 5:20
SPEAKER_01: So I don't see that being a thing because out of all the relationships in this whole thing, Rosie and Rich is probably like the most normal.
• 5:29
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I don't think I don't think there's a dark side to that relationship.
• 5:33
SPEAKER_00: I think they actually are the real thing, so I don't believe that rumor.
• 5:37
SPEAKER_00: Whether she has ever had ever slept with anybody at work before Rich, because she and Rich have not been married for that long, maybe, but yeah, the hush money thing.
• 5:48
SPEAKER_00: I'm like, I just have a hard time thinking that man would go along with something like that.
• 5:52
SPEAKER_01: I really just I agree, I agree because the way it was posed was that this was one of his house flipping projects.
• 5:58
SPEAKER_00: She thought they were gonna flip it and now it's like their place, so yeah, and he is doing like a bunch of construction to it, so it makes sense, okay.
• 6:08
SPEAKER_00: Yes, then like Rosie calls Ashley to debrief, and Rosie's like, if Kelsey's coming to trivia, I'm not coming to trivia, and the one thing that I think is funny is like Ashley's like, Well, do you think that once she used the siren that that was a joke?
• 6:32
SPEAKER_00: Like it had to be a joke, and Rosie's sitting there thinking that Kelsey was like dead serious because Kelsey's like so bad at delivering jokes.
• 6:40
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, Kel Rosie was like, nope, 100%.
• 6:43
  SPEAKER_01: This wasn't a joke.
• 6:44
SPEAKER_01: This was like she wasn't trying to be funny, and now she's like, I just don't see anyone doing this without being funny, like trying to be funny.
• 6:54
SPEAKER_01: But she was like, I can understand that you didn't think it was funny.
• 6:57
SPEAKER_00: I think Kelsey does I think that to Kelsey, she was trying to open it as a joke, but she never sounds like she's joking.
• 7:07
SPEAKER_01: No, everything she does, like you said yesterday, falls really flat.
• 7:11
SPEAKER_00: Yes, it did, it fell flat.
• 7:13
SPEAKER_00: Like even when she was saying it through the speaker, I was like, This isn't funny.
• 7:18
SPEAKER_00: And it's it's hilarious because Ashley just like clocked her.
• 7:22
SPEAKER_00: She was just like, Do I like later on when Kelsey did her second joke?
• 7:27
SPEAKER_00: Ashley was like, Do I think this is a joke?
• 7:29
  SPEAKER_00: Yes.
• 7:30
SPEAKER_00: Do I think that Kelsey is actually able to deliver this joke?
• 7:34
SPEAKER_00: No, because again, she's just so she just she's not a funny person.
• 7:39
SPEAKER_00: Like her, if she is doing uh if she ever grew up doing pageants and has to do like a talent, like comedy is like not her talent.
• 7:48
  SPEAKER_00: This isn't it's not working.
• 7:50
  SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
• 7:51
SPEAKER_00: She's just she can't deliver humor like at all.
• 7:54
  SPEAKER_01: No, it's so bad.
• 7:56
SPEAKER_01: Ashley is listening to Rosie go on about this, and she is trying to offer her advice.
• 8:05
SPEAKER_01: I like how they're just walking around, her and Jared, though, are just walking around restaurant depot, and she's getting distracted by all the things like the giant box of Doritos, the 11-pound chocolate bar.
• 8:15
SPEAKER_01: Meanwhile, Rosie's trying to have like this serious conversation because she's like, I don't know if she wants to go.
• 8:23
SPEAKER_01: And if like Kelsey's going in, Jared is straight up to Ashley.
• 8:27
SPEAKER_01: Like, I just want everyone to have fun.
• 8:29
SPEAKER_01: No blowing up, like, this is our place of business.
• 8:31
SPEAKER_01: And he ends up with like, I just want her to be happy, which is so cute, but and I totally understand, but I can't imagine being married to a housewife and being like, please do not let this Kelsey drama just erupt at like trivia in my restaurant.
• 8:48
SPEAKER_00: What do you think about asking a friend like to pick you or somebody else when it comes to like inviting them to a public place?
• 8:57
SPEAKER_01: I feel like adults should be adults and it does you shouldn't have to pick.
• 9:03
  unknown: Yeah.
• 9:03
SPEAKER_01: I think like the two people who don't get along, honestly, like that's their problem.
• 9:08
SPEAKER_01: And if they have an issue, then they don't go.
• 9:11
SPEAKER_01: But I'm not, I don't know if I'm the type of person who just not invite someone because another person didn't like them.
• 9:17
SPEAKER_01: But I've also never been in this type of drama before.
• 9:21
SPEAKER_01: So I don't really know how that would go.
• 9:24
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I definitely think it's putting it's it's just it's putting Ashley in a rough position.
• 9:31
SPEAKER_00: I feel like Rosie has done this a couple of times to Ashley.
• 9:35
SPEAKER_00: She's like, Oh, I wish she would stick up for me more.
• 9:37
SPEAKER_00: And it's like, uh, you definitely don't need her to stick up for you.
• 9:40
SPEAKER_00: She's like the most emotional sensitive one of the group.
• 9:43
SPEAKER_00: And then like she's like want wants her to call up Kelsey and like uninvite her from trivia.
• 9:49
SPEAKER_00: And it's like, well, that's not something that I think Ashley's capable of doing, and I don't think she should.
• 9:56
SPEAKER_01: No, no, I don't think she should either.
• 9:59
SPEAKER_01: And then even in the next episode, Ashley sits down at the table and they pan over to her at one point and she's crying.
• 10:06
SPEAKER_01: And I was like, Oh my god.
• 10:07
SPEAKER_01: Has everyone even told you the story?
• 10:09
SPEAKER_01: Anyway, we're getting way ahead, but yeah, Ashley's just crying at Capo.
• 10:14
SPEAKER_00: She cries, she's she I think she's cried in every episode, and she cries in the next episode, too.
• 10:20
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, this is um, I guess that's like what she's known for, on like The Bachelor.
• 10:25
SPEAKER_00: That's what my mom said because my mom watched her on The Bachelor, and she said she cried all the time.
• 10:31
SPEAKER_01: Next scene, we're at the beach with Alicia and Rula.
• 10:35
SPEAKER_01: I thought that was fun, and the fact that we get to see Rula two episodes in a row, I'm like, my mind is blown.
• 10:41
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, they meet because both the kids, all their kids are at camp.
• 10:45
  SPEAKER_01: And some free time.
• 10:48
SPEAKER_00: I love walking on the beach when it's like that.
• 10:51
SPEAKER_00: Like it was obviously like low tide, and so it's like the sand is like nice and cool and like soft, but it's like wet, and it's just like this super big, like open beach.
• 11:02
  SPEAKER_00: That was awesome.
• 11:04
  SPEAKER_01: I know.
• 11:04
SPEAKER_01: We're very jealous of all their beach days, and I'm hoping that we can get a beach day soon, please.
• 11:11
  SPEAKER_01: Leather cooperate.
• 11:13
SPEAKER_00: I think the weekend's supposed to be rainy again, but Friday is gonna be really nice.
• 11:18
  SPEAKER_01: I know, I hope so.
• 11:20
  SPEAKER_01: I hope so.
• 11:21
SPEAKER_01: They're walking along the beach and they're just catching up, and they actually bump into Joelan's neighbor, Amanda, and we get a little recap that Joelin doesn't Amanda doesn't talk to Joelyn because there was some sort of disagreement there, too, and Rula's obviously just not a fan, and she this confessional blows me away.
• 11:47
SPEAKER_01: This is why I love Rhode Island and then them all being new because Rula's just in her in her confessional and just straight up calls Joelyn a douche.
• 11:55
  SPEAKER_00: That was so funny.
• 11:56
SPEAKER_00: I know she was like, I know Joelyn thinks she's a detective, but really she's just being a douche.
• 12:02
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 12:04
SPEAKER_00: I mean, the only thing with Amanda is like we get no other context, so it just kind of looked like she came running over just to say that on camera, and then it was like, bye Amanda.
• 12:13
SPEAKER_00: I was like, okay, cool.
• 12:14
SPEAKER_00: Like, this is a good idea.
• 12:15
SPEAKER_00: I'm sure there was some creative editing in that scene, and that there was more, but unless you're gonna say the more, like, I'm not really interested.
• 12:25
SPEAKER_00: It's like you could find anybody who's like been like, yeah, I had a fight with this person that you don't like like 10 years ago.
• 12:31
SPEAKER_00: It's like, when did this happen?
• 12:33
  SPEAKER_00: What happened?
• 12:34
SPEAKER_00: Like, it's just it was just weird.
• 12:37
SPEAKER_00: I don't, I'm just like, we're not gonna see, we're barely seeing Rula, and we're probably never gonna hear the real story with the Samanda girl.
• 12:46
SPEAKER_00: So I was like, I know, super interesting.
• 12:50
  SPEAKER_01: Amanda makes another appearance.
• 12:53
SPEAKER_01: Maybe they maybe she will, and that's why like they brought her in in this one.
• 12:57
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 12:58
SPEAKER_01: Like a teaser moment or something.
• 13:01
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 13:01
  SPEAKER_01: Uh, but I don't know.
• 13:03
SPEAKER_01: Alicia and Rula are talking about their relationships, and Rula doesn't want to go to trivia if Joelyn is there, another trivia drama, because according to her, like every time she's around Joel and her lights are being dimmed.
• 13:19
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, she said she said she feels like her light's been her light's being dimmed.
• 13:23
SPEAKER_00: I'm like, your light is being dimmed by Brian, not Joelyn.
• 13:27
SPEAKER_01: Like I've been with Brian for a really long for a while.
• 13:30
SPEAKER_01: Like, I and I'm like, well, yeah, just because you've been with him for a while doesn't mean he's not a douchebag.
• 13:36
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and she said that he used to kiss the ground that she walked on, and that's why the affair has been so hard to accept, and now she's at a point where she's just like trying to repair.
• 13:48
SPEAKER_00: And it's like the the problem is is that this is still going on.
• 13:55
SPEAKER_00: Like, I know that it happened, like she's still continuing the narrative that like this is something that happened like a year ago, he was caught, and that's it.
• 14:07
SPEAKER_00: And it's like, no, this is like still a continuing thing.
• 14:11
SPEAKER_01: So but if you go by with like what Ashley was saying in that random interview that you sent me in a couple of clips I've seen on Instagram, it happened before the show, and so it technically is old news.
• 14:22
SPEAKER_01: But if they're at polo and there's being stuff like tagged at polo, I don't understand how it happened before.
• 14:29
  SPEAKER_00: Because it's continuing.
• 14:30
SPEAKER_00: Like Ashley, what Ashley said, I think was true.
• 14:33
SPEAKER_00: Whereas like Rula had already known about this going into filming, but I don't think it I think that her whole thing was gonna be like, I know that this happened and this is gonna come up.
• 14:45
SPEAKER_00: But first of all, she was only gonna be a friend of, like she was only gonna be like a part-time, and then something happened with another cast member, and she became like a full-time.
• 14:56
SPEAKER_00: So I think her whole narrative was gonna be like he had cheated on me when in reality it's like, yes, he did, and yes, she did know about it.
• 15:05
SPEAKER_00: So that piece of it is old news, but he's still very much like carrying on an affair because we know that from the polo, and he like she was posting stuff from that day.
• 15:18
SPEAKER_00: We know that from this recent video that Alicia is trying to tell her about, but never actually does.
• 15:24
SPEAKER_00: And we know that because Brian even confirmed that he had he was still talking to her.
• 15:30
SPEAKER_00: So it's like I just think the piece of it that she's not willing to give in to is the fact that like he's still having this affair, but she doesn't want to acknowledge that part of it.
• 15:41
SPEAKER_00: I think she wants to still keep acting like he's not doing it anymore, and it's like he definitely is, like he 100% and he's not even denying it.
• 15:50
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's bad, it's a good point.
• 15:52
SPEAKER_01: He isn't denying anything, and then when he gets confronted, he's like, Oh, I just don't wear my wedding ring normally.
• 15:59
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, like he's just such a weird guy, and he really is.
• 16:04
SPEAKER_00: I think she's just choosing to just like deal with it for the time being, and she doesn't want people to keep like highlighting the fact that it's still going on.
• 16:13
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I guess that would get annoying.
• 16:15
SPEAKER_01: Like, if you know it, well, obviously it's gotta be annoying to just keep getting reminded that your husband just sucks.
• 16:22
SPEAKER_00: Well, that's what she should she should stop.
• 16:25
SPEAKER_00: She should like when she tries to like create this illusion that like he has stopped, and this is something that happened a while ago, that's when she's making it worse.
• 16:35
SPEAKER_00: She should just tell Joel and like, I don't want to hear any more of this, and like I'm dealing with it myself, but instead she keeps just calling it the indiscretion and acting like it happened a year ago, and it's like it didn't only happen a year ago, it happened a year ago and then other times.
• 16:51
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I mean, it's like uh that's why your light's being dimmed, and it's embarrassing.
• 16:56
SPEAKER_00: It's embarrassing to like bring him places, it's just like some of the scenes we see of him coming up.
• 17:03
  SPEAKER_01: I'm like, I can't with this man.
• 17:05
  SPEAKER_01: I can't.
• 17:06
SPEAKER_00: I can't believe that on top of all of that, he also just has a really bad personality.
• 17:12
SPEAKER_00: I'm like, like you'd think he'd be like way more charismatic, and that's why Rula wants to stay with him, and that's why he has this other girlfriend.
• 17:20
  SPEAKER_00: I'm like, he's weird.
• 17:21
SPEAKER_00: I don't even understand what how he even has the second girlfriend.
• 17:25
  SPEAKER_01: I don't know either.
• 17:26
SPEAKER_01: It is a money thing, maybe a Kelsey situation.
• 17:30
SPEAKER_01: Bizarre, like just completely bizarre.
• 17:33
SPEAKER_01: It is um, but another part of this scene though, Rula is telling Alicia that she needs to take care of herself and to feel empowered, and she wants the chance to educate Alicia financially, and that she should claim state uh stake in part of Pizza Mama and put together a business plan, which is actually really great advice.
• 17:55
SPEAKER_00: That yeah, she gave her really good advice to put together the business plan, which she does, and yeah, she's just telling her that you need to not that Billy is gonna like necessarily like leave her and Selena with nothing, but it doesn't matter, you still need to like educate yourself and claim what's yours in the present and not like wait for something bad to happen to then take action, which is like excellent advice.
• 18:21
SPEAKER_00: That's what everybody should do.
• 18:23
SPEAKER_00: And Alicia's like, Well, I was setting aside money for myself, I was setting aside ten dollars a week.
• 18:28
SPEAKER_00: I was like, Oh god.
• 18:30
SPEAKER_01: I know when she said that I was like, wait, what?
• 18:33
  SPEAKER_01: That's okay.
• 18:34
SPEAKER_01: I mean, but at least she's attempting something, but that's good, she's gonna not end up with a lot by the end.
• 18:41
SPEAKER_00: And also, it's like, is this ten dollars from like a jar?
• 18:45
SPEAKER_01: Like no, is it under the mattress?
• 18:48
SPEAKER_01: Is it in a shoe?
• 18:50
SPEAKER_01: What are we doing here?
• 18:52
SPEAKER_00: It's just yeah, she she needs to do something different.
• 18:55
SPEAKER_00: That was really, really good advice.
• 18:57
SPEAKER_00: Rula is like very smart in the way that she communicates that stuff.
• 19:04
  SPEAKER_01: Um she's not dumb.
• 19:07
  SPEAKER_00: She's no, she's really smart and she's condescending.
• 19:11
SPEAKER_00: Like, she doesn't do it in a condescending way.
• 19:13
SPEAKER_00: So so yeah, that was really nice of her.
• 19:16
SPEAKER_00: She's she's given her, she gave her good advice at the fire, too.
• 19:19
SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah, that's true, huh?
• 19:21
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, like this is definitely like her area of expertise.
• 19:25
SPEAKER_00: Thank God, because the relationship with Brian is not gonna end well.
• 19:29
SPEAKER_01: I don't feel like I was gonna say be like she's definitely no relationship expert.
• 19:33
SPEAKER_00: No, she's not, but she definitely has this on lock, so she'll be fine when she finally like gets rid of him.
• 19:42
  unknown: Right.
• 19:43
SPEAKER_00: It's just like it is just triggering because it's like she could be so much better off.
• 19:49
SPEAKER_00: Like, she does not need to be with him.
• 19:51
  SPEAKER_00: It's like I agree.
• 19:53
SPEAKER_00: Then we go to the triple date with Jerry, Liz, Gary, Joel, and Kelsey and Bill.
• 20:03
SPEAKER_00: So many things bother me about this dinner.
• 20:07
  SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
• 20:08
SPEAKER_01: I was gonna say they're back at Cersei, though that nice restaurant we saw a couple episodes ago.
• 20:14
SPEAKER_00: I mean, there's no shortage of like amazing like steakhouses and seafood restaurants in the Northeast, but this dinner is just like there's so many parts about it that are like aggravating me.
• 20:25
SPEAKER_01: Like the fact that Billy shows up in a polo and everyone else is in a soup.
• 20:29
SPEAKER_00: He is cash, he's funny.
• 20:32
SPEAKER_00: No, the part where Kelsey is randomly just like, so what do you guys think about like you break up with somebody, but your ex still pays for things?
• 20:42
  SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, okay.
• 20:44
SPEAKER_00: My take on this is that it made sense to me when this was first explained as he's helping her get on her feet because she had been living in his home or his family's home for 10 years, she hadn't been working, he has the money, it wasn't like a contentious breakup.
• 21:07
SPEAKER_00: So the part of like, okay, I'm gonna help her get into a new place and like help with some things for a little while.
• 21:13
SPEAKER_00: Like, I didn't think there was anything wrong with that.
• 21:16
SPEAKER_00: And it's true, like, if they had been married, like she would have been entitled to splitting up of some things or some money, but depending on the arrangement.
• 21:25
SPEAKER_00: But like it just seems to me that at this point, Kelsey's like, okay, I'm gonna shift over to having Bill pay for some things, like my car, but anything that Bill's not able to cover, I'm just gonna keep having my ex supplement.
• 21:42
SPEAKER_01: Like, that's like what it seems like.
• 21:44
SPEAKER_01: That's what it seems like.
• 21:45
SPEAKER_01: But then even Liz is like, Oh, when she's with Jerry, Jerry's like, Oh, Liz's ex used to slip money under the door.
• 21:51
SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, what is going on?
• 21:54
SPEAKER_00: It just makes it seem like you just can't fucking take care of yourself at all, and you're helpless.
• 21:58
SPEAKER_00: And it's like, listen, like that's That is just it's starting to look a little pathetic, like no offense.
• 22:03
SPEAKER_00: But well, actually, like I know that's offensive, but it's like I again like initially like helping out, especially given how wealthy this guy is, like, yeah, but she's like, Well, you know, I'm not gonna.
• 22:16
SPEAKER_00: She even says she's like hesitant to move in with Bill and get serious with Bill because then her ex will stop paying for things.
• 22:22
SPEAKER_00: And it's like you're just trying to arrange it so that you have all of your bases covered with other people paying for stuff.
• 22:28
  SPEAKER_00: That's like how it's coming across.
• 22:30
SPEAKER_00: And it's like, um, are you not capable of like making any sort of living yourself?
• 22:38
SPEAKER_00: Like, you she said in some interviews that she had been saving her own money and the whole time that she was with her ex and that she does work and she's been like doing like her hair thing, and it's like, okay, then why are you acting like since you know Bill's not paying for your health insurance?
• 23:00
SPEAKER_00: You need your ex to pay for your health insurance.
• 23:02
SPEAKER_00: Like, if you have been investing money for 10 years, you can fucking pay for your own health insurance.
• 23:07
SPEAKER_00: Like, she's actually like it's impossible for her to survive without this help.
• 23:11
SPEAKER_01: We I we also have to understand, like, I was thinking about this when she was saying everything, is that also rumors has it that she straight up lied to get on the show because she's was already living with Bill.
• 23:23
SPEAKER_01: And that the breakup with the other boyfriend happened a while ago.
• 23:28
SPEAKER_01: And she has like, according to my super reliable source, they've been living together for two years, like in Rhode Island, they're making everything up, and I even if we like get rid of that part, right?
• 23:42
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, the fact is that like she just wants to make it seem like it's really normal, and it's not no, it's not at all.
• 23:53
SPEAKER_01: Like, it's just I understand because you have given so much of your life and so much of your time to this, but she spends an awful lot of time defending it.
• 24:02
SPEAKER_01: So I feel like she doesn't really think it's okay, and I don't think Bill thinks it's okay.
• 24:09
  SPEAKER_00: It's not okay.
• 24:10
SPEAKER_00: If it was like her basic needs, again, like if it's like her basic needs are being met while she establishes herself, that's one thing, but it just is like she's trying to justify the continuation of it when she is trying to be in a serious relationship with somebody else.
• 24:28
SPEAKER_00: And it's like that's that's the point where it's like not appropriate.
• 24:32
SPEAKER_00: You're literally saying on camera that you're hesitant to like move things forward with your current boyfriend because you don't want to end payments from your ex-boyfriend.
• 24:40
SPEAKER_00: It's like, are you like a paid girlfriend?
• 24:44
SPEAKER_00: Like, is that like your career is like just being paid to date somebody because that's like how you're making yourself sound, right?
• 24:52
SPEAKER_01: It's like you can't be with anyone unless they can financially support you.
• 24:56
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's when it's like if I were Bill, I would have a problem with that.
• 25:00
SPEAKER_00: I'd be like, well, I guess it's just the three of us in this relationship forever, then.
• 25:04
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
• 25:06
  SPEAKER_00: It's very weird.
• 25:07
SPEAKER_00: It's also it puts a weird pressure on him too, because he obviously isn't like super wealthy like this other guy.
• 25:16
SPEAKER_00: So is he supposed to feel bad that he can't cover all of Kelsey's bills?
• 25:21
SPEAKER_00: So so that's the one.
• 25:22
SPEAKER_01: I know I feel like if I was Bill, I would feel kind of like down on myself and like nothing.
• 25:27
  SPEAKER_00: I feel like such a moron.
• 25:29
SPEAKER_00: I'd be like, so because I can't cover all of your expenses, you are just gonna keep receiving money from this guy that you were with for 10 years.
• 25:38
  SPEAKER_00: Like, that's just that isn't right.
• 25:40
  SPEAKER_00: That's not right.
• 25:42
SPEAKER_00: I just think it's a a weird, awkward position to put him in.
• 25:46
  SPEAKER_01: I agree.
• 25:47
SPEAKER_01: And then another thing that they bring up at this dinner, we've got a lot of like a lot of stuff floating around.
• 25:54
SPEAKER_01: Uh they tell Joelyn the story of Kelsey and Rosie because she doesn't know that Rosie called her a slam pig.
• 26:03
SPEAKER_01: And but this is like kind of like the shortest part of the whole dinner conversation is like the catch up on that thing.
• 26:10
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and then Kelsey isn't sure if she is gonna go to trivia because of the fight with Rosie.
• 26:17
SPEAKER_01: And then another thing that they bring up again is freaking on Alicia being homeless.
• 26:22
SPEAKER_01: Why is this such a big thing?
• 26:25
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but I think that the other girls are like way too quick to only see Kelsey's side in that argument, and like they all have attacked Rosie on like numerous occasions.
• 26:41
SPEAKER_00: Like, I just feel like Kelsey needs backup, or otherwise she's not able to like fight with Rosie one-on-one.
• 26:48
SPEAKER_00: So, like, that's kind of annoying.
• 26:50
SPEAKER_01: And then, yeah, the homeless thing gets brought up again, and I'm like, So sitting, I watched this episode with Slater, and Slater hasn't watched in a couple episodes.
• 27:00
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and he was like, Why?
• 27:03
SPEAKER_01: If this is already a thing, why are they arguing about Alicia being homeless?
• 27:08
SPEAKER_01: And he was like, Why does everyone care so much?
• 27:11
SPEAKER_01: And I was like, Well, babe, it's because like Liz says that like she doesn't want to like disgrace or put down Alicia's family because she has such a good family, and Slater was like, Again, like I don't understand why it's such a hot topic and why now we have Gary chiming in on this.
• 27:30
SPEAKER_00: Because Liz doesn't want to be, she doesn't want to be wrong about this.
• 27:34
SPEAKER_00: Like, she's dig she's continuing to like dig in on her viewpoint.
• 27:39
SPEAKER_00: And like, I get her viewpoint when it was when it was for when it first happened.
• 27:45
SPEAKER_00: I really don't think that Liz even thought twice about being like, no, you weren't homeless, because I think in her mind, that was her intention.
• 27:54
SPEAKER_00: Like, I grew up around a family, like you know, you have a like she keeps saying, like, you have a big, beautiful family that would never like allow you to like live on the street, and she's thinking of it in that very like literal way.
• 28:06
SPEAKER_00: So, like at that point in time, I got it, and I don't think she realized how offended Alicia was in that moment.
• 28:14
SPEAKER_00: So, like when it was first presented, I was like, you know, I'm not like I was sort of agreeing with her on that point, but then once Alicia explained how upset this has made her, and like why she said that, like, well, my dad just left us, and like, had I not had my family, we wouldn't have had anywhere to go.
• 28:38
SPEAKER_00: And like, they moved into a basement, and like that's really traumatizing for a child.
• 28:43
SPEAKER_00: Like, it's of there's different shades of being unhoused, which is like how what people say now.
• 28:49
SPEAKER_00: Like, people say unhoused, and there are different shades of it, and like the situation that she described, like it is super unstable, it's super unstable for kids, it's getting ripped out of your childhood home, you have to leave really abruptly, like you're totally dependent on family taking you in.
• 29:05
SPEAKER_00: Like, that is a form of it, it's not living on the street.
• 29:10
SPEAKER_00: So, like, I sort of see both sides of it, but what I don't understand is like, why is Liz continuing to dig in so much on that one particular point?
• 29:19
SPEAKER_00: It's like you're you're saying it so literally, and like they're making it seem like Alicia said that they were living on the street, and it's like she didn't say she was living on a street, sleeping in a sleeping bag under the stars.
• 29:29
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, what she said.
• 29:31
SPEAKER_00: She said exactly what happened, which was they had to, they didn't have anywhere to go and they had to move into her grandmother's basement.
• 29:38
SPEAKER_00: Like, that's what she said.
• 29:39
SPEAKER_00: She didn't, she's not claiming that they were in a shelter, so like whether or not they she like they agree with the term that she used, like they're acting like she's like making something up, and it's like she's not making it up, yeah.
• 29:52
SPEAKER_01: Because even then Joelan gets involved and starts going in on it, and she didn't even have an opinion, and then she was like, She was never, like you said, sleeping in the under the stars in a sleeping bag.
• 30:02
SPEAKER_00: Like, I just don't work while they're making it seem like that's what she was saying.
• 30:06
SPEAKER_00: It's like that's never what she said, like you're taking it that way, like super literal, and that's not what she said.
• 30:14
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and then Alicia even has this conversation with her mom and aunts, and they all agree that what Alicia's saying is like, I don't know, it's very weird.
• 30:23
SPEAKER_01: And it's just the fact that Liz has to be so right about this is like she's exactly that's what's bothering me about it.
• 30:31
SPEAKER_00: It's like get your initial point, understand why you said what you said, but like you continuing to dig your heels in on somebody else's like lived experience is like sort of not cool at this point.
• 30:40
SPEAKER_00: It's like you know that she's upset about it now, so like stop like stop like going in on your pony.
• 30:47
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, like it doesn't it doesn't matter what the term is, she's explaining some the whole point of the exercise was to explain something traumatizing that happened or like explain something about their pastor, like whatever it was, which by the way was an activity that Liz suggested, and it's like you didn't like that she used the term homeless, but that wasn't the point of like that's not the point.
• 31:10
SPEAKER_01: I was trying to express a vulnerability, right?
• 31:14
SPEAKER_00: So, I mean, I don't know why she's continuing with this, and then yeah, when Gary chimed in, it's like he he probably shouldn't have, but he chimed in because they were all making it seem like Alicia said that she's was sleeping on the street, and she did not say that.
• 31:28
SPEAKER_00: So it's just like when she watches that scene, she's gonna be super pissed, and like I would be too.
• 31:33
SPEAKER_00: I'd be like, What the fuck?
• 31:34
SPEAKER_00: Why are you bringing this up around like three other people making it sound like I like made up a story?
• 31:41
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, and Kelsey was like, Well, I guess she exaggerated then.
• 31:45
SPEAKER_00: I was like, She didn't exaggerate, she said exactly what happened.
• 31:49
SPEAKER_00: She just called it homelessness, which you don't personally agree with, but she didn't make up a story.
• 31:56
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it was so yeah, I don't know.
• 31:59
SPEAKER_00: It's just awkward, and the part about it that I feel like is super awkward is the fact that Liz's sister is best friends with Alicia's mom.
• 32:07
SPEAKER_00: I'm like, aren't you kind of worried that this is gonna cause like a like a family, yeah, like a friend family fight or something?
• 32:15
SPEAKER_01: It's like just fucking drop it.
• 32:17
SPEAKER_00: Like, it's not like your personal story.
• 32:20
SPEAKER_00: Like, I don't know why you're still doing this.
• 32:23
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I don't know.
• 32:24
SPEAKER_01: That dinner was just all sorts of weird.
• 32:27
SPEAKER_00: So it was weird, yeah.
• 32:29
SPEAKER_00: It was weird, but I get the Kelsey thing was the most annoying part for me.
• 32:33
SPEAKER_00: I was like, oh my god, so tired of this boyfriend thing.
• 32:38
SPEAKER_01: I know it's it's like one of those things, like, okay, I really like it, and like I love the housewives, obviously, or else we wouldn't be doing this or watching all of them, but sometimes when there is a topic, it gets thrown through episodes and it's like beating a dead horse, and sometimes I just close the chapter.
• 32:55
  SPEAKER_01: Let's move along.
• 32:57
  SPEAKER_02: But oh yes.
• 33:00
SPEAKER_00: Is this also the scene where we find out that Kelsey, not that we find out, but that Kelsey says like I'm like stuttering to this point, she's like making it a point to say Rosie's full name recently.
• 33:14
SPEAKER_00: I don't know if you noticed that, but she keeps sure that we know her name is Rosemary Woods.
• 33:20
SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, Yeah, why do you keep doing that?
• 33:24
  SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
• 33:25
SPEAKER_01: I have no clue, but yeah, I noticed that she definitely said it in a confessional.
• 33:29
SPEAKER_01: She should have started like a tally or something.
• 33:32
SPEAKER_00: Well, like she's acting like she, I think she's using it as like another point that Rosie lies about stuff, but I'm like, well, she's married.
• 33:42
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, right?
• 33:43
SPEAKER_00: She's married, so if her name no longer is Woods, like that would make sense.
• 33:48
SPEAKER_00: And then like people go by nicknames.
• 33:51
SPEAKER_00: I mean, I didn't know her full name was Rosemary.
• 33:53
SPEAKER_00: I guess it could be like Roseanne, but I don't, I mean, I don't think like it's that weird that Rosie is short for something.
• 34:02
SPEAKER_00: I'm like, I don't really see this as a point of like contention.
• 34:07
SPEAKER_00: Like you're pissed off that she goes by Rosie Demare instead of Rosemary Woods.
• 34:11
SPEAKER_00: Like, who would go by their full name Rosemary?
• 34:14
  SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
• 34:15
  SPEAKER_01: Especially when they're not like 95.
• 34:18
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I mean like oh my god.
• 34:22
  SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
• 34:23
SPEAKER_00: She she's this is like I think the second time she's done that.
• 34:26
SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, well, yeah, obviously we all know Rosie's short for something.
• 34:30
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, maybe we need to start a tally.
• 34:33
SPEAKER_01: If anyone knows, give us the official number and then we'll start keeping track on our Instagram.
• 34:40
  SPEAKER_01: It's just weird, yeah.
• 34:42
  SPEAKER_01: It is, it is.
• 34:44
SPEAKER_01: Uh, but then we get to the good part of this episode, trivia night.
• 34:49
SPEAKER_01: Oh god, which is full of questionable decisions, and I don't understand.
• 34:55
SPEAKER_01: I like how the scene honestly it opens, and Ashley's like, I don't want drama, and then she's interconfessional, and she just straight up goes, digestion isn't right right now, and I'm very nervous.
• 35:09
SPEAKER_00: On the other hand, this is a great look of Ashley's.
• 35:12
SPEAKER_00: She's getting her fashion down.
• 35:14
SPEAKER_00: The silk top that's like crossed at the neck.
• 35:17
SPEAKER_00: I was like, okay, this is yeah, it looks really good.
• 35:21
SPEAKER_00: That looks really good on her.
• 35:23
SPEAKER_00: Rosie's like two-piece blue look is really good too.
• 35:27
SPEAKER_00: They're like class, they're very like classily dressed for trivia night.
• 35:33
SPEAKER_01: I I know, I was thinking that too, but side note, Rosie and I have the same gold sandals.
• 35:39
  SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
• 35:41
SPEAKER_01: I was like, oh, I like those, and I was like, I own those.
• 35:44
SPEAKER_01: That is why I like them.
• 35:46
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, they're it that was a really good look, and it was like unexpected because she usually like wears like a lot of pink and like kind of cute stuff, and that was like a sophisticated look.
• 35:57
SPEAKER_01: I know, it was a really nice blue on her, too.
• 36:00
  SPEAKER_01: I love that color.
• 36:02
SPEAKER_00: It was it was a really good color.
• 36:04
SPEAKER_00: The color that I'm like not a super fan of right now is like I don't like how Liz is now like exclusively wearing all brown because she's so tan and her hair is the same color, and she's been doing this a lot.
• 36:19
SPEAKER_00: She's been wearing a lot of like 100% brown, and I'm like, this is the next episode.
• 36:26
SPEAKER_01: She gets more colorful with like her sundress and her outfit to uh looks a lot better.
• 36:32
SPEAKER_01: I'm pretty sure her outfit, you know how we discovered she wears a lot of Akira.
• 36:37
SPEAKER_01: If her outfit is not from Akira, my mind is blown.
• 36:42
SPEAKER_01: Like her next one, that pink one with the straps.
• 36:44
SPEAKER_01: Even Slater goes, Did she get dressed at Akira?
• 36:47
  SPEAKER_01: And I was like, I think it's not.
• 36:49
  SPEAKER_00: I love Akira.
• 36:51
SPEAKER_00: There was so there was like a lot of really good outfits from Akira at Miami Swim Week this weekend.
• 36:56
SPEAKER_01: Yes, it is my fave.
• 36:58
SPEAKER_00: So yeah, no, she has some good stuff.
• 37:01
SPEAKER_00: It's just that like it's they keep showing her in that confessional with the brown look, which I like when I'm like, but it's like that's it's a very specific look, but then she keeps doing it, and I'm like, this is just too much.
• 37:16
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's like there's no contrast to it, it's all just like this brown, but anyway.
• 37:21
SPEAKER_00: Um, yeah, trivia super cringe, like super cringe.
• 37:27
SPEAKER_00: Kelsey tries to make a joke again.
• 37:29
SPEAKER_00: That's just like, again, this isn't funny.
• 37:32
  SPEAKER_01: It's not funny.
• 37:33
SPEAKER_01: So they go to trivia, and Ashley is really smart, and she has two instead of pushing the tables together.
• 37:39
SPEAKER_01: I like how she does two tables next to them.
• 37:42
SPEAKER_01: Because obviously she is the owner, she can do whatever she wants, but she's like, we'll do two separate tables so that way everyone will be fine.
• 37:50
SPEAKER_01: Of course, Joel asks about it because Rula doesn't show up, and I don't know.
• 37:58
SPEAKER_00: It was like, and then Liz like ends up talking over Joel, and they start with Disney trivia, but then Kelsey finally shows up, and she is wearing a sash that says slam pig Miss United States or something, or Miss Pig United States, and she's like, She's beauty and she's grace, she's Miss Slam Pig United States from Miss Congeniality, that's where that's from, and even Ashley sees her walk in, and Ashley's face is like, Are you fucking kidding me?
• 38:32
SPEAKER_01: And she's like, Hi Rosie, how are you?
• 38:36
  SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, it's so inappropriate.
• 38:39
SPEAKER_00: I just feel like these girls are so determined to defend her.
• 38:42
SPEAKER_00: Like, even I watched an interview that not an interview, but like Dolores goes on that like two tees podcast with Tamara Judge, and like she was even Dolores, because Dolores is very much like Liz's friend, she's like saying that, like, oh, I feel like Rosie should have you should have seen this as like Kelsey trying to break the ice.
• 39:01
  SPEAKER_00: It's like, no, she wasn't.
• 39:03
SPEAKER_00: She was she had this like super bitchy like affect.
• 39:07
SPEAKER_00: I'm like, if this is her trying to be funny and break the ice, it's not landing.
• 39:12
SPEAKER_00: Like, I don't know what these girls don't understand about this.
• 39:15
SPEAKER_00: It's like this isn't landing, she's not coming across like she's trying to be funny.
• 39:19
SPEAKER_00: She's coming across like this is gonna be my way of like starting it up with Rosie.
• 39:24
SPEAKER_00: Like, if she if this is like her joking, it's not, it doesn't seem that way to a normal person.
• 39:30
SPEAKER_01: No one walks in wearing a sash like that after they had a big blowout, thinking that it is gonna go over all right with the person that they had a blowout over with, and then to do like the whole stupid hi Rosie thing, and then Rosie doesn't react, doesn't say anything, tries to ignore, and then it's like poking the bear, and it's like, no, none of this is funny.
• 39:57
SPEAKER_01: It's like that scene in Rhode Island where Jaclyn like reintroduces herself to Teresa in Vermont or whatever, and you're just like she goes over and like sticks her hand out to shake her hand.
• 40:09
SPEAKER_00: It's like that's fucking annoying, it's not funny at all.
• 40:13
SPEAKER_01: No, it's not at all.
• 40:15
SPEAKER_01: And I don't like it because Liz is like, well, Kelsey has a sense of humor, and it's like, no, Kelsey doesn't have a sense of humor.
• 40:22
SPEAKER_00: And I also did not like when they like Liz tried to go over to like talk to Rosie and like get her side of what happened.
• 40:32
SPEAKER_00: And the second Rosie starts talking, Liz is like interrupting her.
• 40:35
SPEAKER_00: I was like, Well, but don't don't you think this, or like, don't you think that maybe you went into it, like you were gonna get her?
• 40:42
SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, you're literally not even letting her get any of her side out at all.
• 40:47
SPEAKER_00: And Joelan tries to chime in and say, like, oh, let Rosie talk, and like Liz snaps at Joellen.
• 40:54
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and Alicia is like everyone is picking on Rosie.
• 40:59
SPEAKER_01: Alicia's like over it, and she's like, I'm stuck in the middle of everything, and then again, Kelsey just decides to insert herself into the table, and it's like, why?
• 41:11
SPEAKER_00: This is yeah, this is how it always is.
• 41:13
SPEAKER_00: It's like every time they have a problem, everybody like piles on Rosie and defends Kelsey.
• 41:21
SPEAKER_00: But when it's just Rosie and Kelsey, Kelsey can't defend herself at all.
• 41:25
SPEAKER_01: No, the one person I did stick up for the whole time was Alicia.
• 41:30
SPEAKER_00: It was Alicia, but Alicia even said that she's like been afraid to stick up for her because she doesn't like want to upset or like let down the other women.
• 41:39
SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, it's like right is right and wrong is wrong.
• 41:43
SPEAKER_00: Like, if you shouldn't have I don't know why it's like, oh, we have to like 100% defend everything that Kelsey was has done.
• 41:52
SPEAKER_00: It's like if they just they're already going into it with the mindset that Rosie's wrong, and they're like making it a point to like tell her that.
• 42:00
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and then I like how Ashley though, Ashley straight up has a moment, she goes and freaks out at Jared, and he is like, it's gonna be okay.
• 42:08
SPEAKER_01: And then she's trying to like diffuse the situation by actively trying to play trivia, and trivia at this point is a complete lost cause.
• 42:17
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, like first of all, they were totally wrong about the pig's name and Toy Story, they were completely wrong about that, and they also don't.
• 42:25
SPEAKER_00: She she was like, Um, excuse me, does anybody know who the big blue bug is in Rhode Island?
• 42:29
SPEAKER_00: And I'm trying to think to myself, what the hell are they talking about?
• 42:32
SPEAKER_01: The big blue bug, it's a real thing.
• 42:34
SPEAKER_01: I drive by it all the time.
• 42:35
  SPEAKER_00: I don't know what that is.
• 42:37
  SPEAKER_00: Like, what is it?
• 42:37
  SPEAKER_00: What is it?
• 42:38
  SPEAKER_00: What is it called?
• 42:40
SPEAKER_01: I don't know the name of it.
• 42:41
SPEAKER_01: I just know that you pass down the highway and it's a legitimate giant blue bug, and I'm pretty sure the company is called like the big blue bug bug or something.
• 42:49
SPEAKER_01: How come none of them know what this is?
• 42:52
SPEAKER_01: I think they know what it is.
• 42:53
SPEAKER_01: I just don't think they knew he had an official name.
• 42:55
  SPEAKER_00: Oh, okay.
• 42:56
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 42:57
SPEAKER_00: And they didn't know the name of the piggy bank and toy story.
• 43:00
  SPEAKER_00: Isn't it ham?
• 43:01
  SPEAKER_01: It's ham.
• 43:02
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 43:03
  SPEAKER_01: Mm-hmm.
• 43:03
SPEAKER_01: They're like bacon or close.
• 43:06
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, she was like, it's bacon.
• 43:07
SPEAKER_00: She was like on the right track.
• 43:09
SPEAKER_01: But come on, just got little kids.
• 43:10
  SPEAKER_01: Haven't they just seen?
• 43:11
SPEAKER_01: I haven't seen Toy Story in like 15 years.
• 43:13
  SPEAKER_01: Let's get it right.
• 43:14
  SPEAKER_00: I've seen it recently.
• 43:16
  SPEAKER_00: I love Toy Story.
• 43:17
SPEAKER_00: The first one's my favorite.
• 43:18
SPEAKER_00: I don't like the second one because I don't like Jesse, but I love Toy Story.
• 43:23
SPEAKER_01: I've only seen the first two, and now what are we on?
• 43:25
  SPEAKER_01: Five.
• 43:26
  SPEAKER_00: It's uh it's getting sad.
• 43:29
SPEAKER_00: I don't like want to watch the fifth one with like the toys are getting old.
• 43:32
  SPEAKER_00: I know it's sad.
• 43:35
  SPEAKER_01: It does.
• 43:35
SPEAKER_01: Um, but anyway, back to trivia.
• 43:37
SPEAKER_01: Why do they go under the table?
• 43:39
SPEAKER_01: All I know is that Liz gets under the table, and then everyone is there.
• 43:50
SPEAKER_00: I'm like, uh, if anybody should be embarrassed, it should be Jared.
• 43:54
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah, right.
• 43:55
SPEAKER_01: He's like trying to host trivia, meanwhile, his wife is over there having a meltdown and her friends.
• 44:00
SPEAKER_01: Screaming and it's like, what do I do?
• 44:03
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 44:03
SPEAKER_00: But when we tried to like intervene and be like, um, we're doing trivia night, they all kind of like snapped at her.
• 44:11
SPEAKER_00: They were like, Yeah, Ashley, we get us your place of business, but and it's like, okay, you clearly just don't give a shit.
• 44:17
  SPEAKER_01: No, no.
• 44:18
SPEAKER_01: I'm like, oh my god, I would never invite the ladies out to my place.
• 44:22
SPEAKER_01: I feel like it would be a disaster.
• 44:25
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I mean, especially because like she's been struggling with like they've been struggling with Audrey's and like the success of Audrey's.
• 44:33
SPEAKER_00: However, I feel like this show is just gonna give Audrey's like way more attention than it was getting.
• 44:39
SPEAKER_00: So oh yeah, she wants to remember that ultimately, because I don't think it's gonna be a bad thing for the for Audrey's, but still.
• 44:46
SPEAKER_01: I mean, because they could never film there, and so I feel like the fact that they're letting it film there, they're trying to make it more successful, which is smart, but that was weird, and then we switched to Alicia's house, and I love how it starts the scene off.
• 45:06
SPEAKER_01: Alicia looks wicked cute and she has on these adorable heels, and Alina comes up and she's like, Why are you wearing shoes in the house?
• 45:13
SPEAKER_01: We don't we're not allowed to wear shoes in the house, and her Alicia's like, It's a vibe, okay?
• 45:18
SPEAKER_01: It's a vibe, and it's fun because this is when she uh shows why did I just blank on his name?
• 45:26
  SPEAKER_01: Billy Billy, thank you.
• 45:29
SPEAKER_01: This is why they're showing Billy her collage, her mood board, her inspiration on what to do to make Pizza Mama more successful, improve to one of like the next pizza mama.
• 45:43
SPEAKER_00: So or 10% of what he will have, yes, 10% of his share.
• 45:48
SPEAKER_00: So really, like, I know that they're trying to make it a joke that she made this like bored, but first of all, her ideas are very good.
• 45:59
SPEAKER_00: Second of all, really what she should be and what she should say is she is like the creative director of this business because like this restaurant and the vibe of it and the strategic direction of it and like everything, like the branding of it, that really is her, and they're kind of like making it like sort of a joke, but that's what that's really what she's doing.
• 46:29
SPEAKER_00: She just doesn't know how to like verbalize that, but like that is really what she's doing for the business.
• 46:34
SPEAKER_00: Like he wouldn't have this had it not been for her, because this is all her brand, her ideas.
• 46:41
SPEAKER_00: So I think like being a business person, what I I'm glad that they showed the scene because it enlightened me to Billy's viewpoint, which is like he isn't planning on just like hanging her out to dry.
• 46:55
SPEAKER_00: Like he says that he had like they are using, he's clearly using a lawyer and a wealth manager of some sort to make arrangements should anything happen to him for Selena and Alicia, and like he has proposed to her and he does want to marry her.
• 47:14
SPEAKER_00: I think what he's saying is that he doesn't like first of all, in his mind, he's like, that's all that she needs, and then secondly, he doesn't think that she understands the financial and business side of things, and so he's like, he's the one that's doing it, and he doesn't think that she's able to understand that, which is misogynistic, but that is how their relationship has been functioning up until this point.
• 47:43
SPEAKER_00: So I can understand now like what his viewpoint is of it, and like I don't think he's just like an asshole, but like the way to combat this is he has to teach her.
• 47:55
SPEAKER_00: So, like, the way to do that is to bring her to the financial advisor and let her sit down with the financial advisor and ask the financial advisor any questions that she has.
• 48:04
SPEAKER_00: Like, that's what he needs to do.
• 48:06
SPEAKER_00: It's like you, if you do that, she will learn.
• 48:11
SPEAKER_00: Like, she will get her questions out, she will get the information that she's wondering, she'll get the information that she needs to be comfortable, and then they can move forward.
• 48:18
SPEAKER_00: Like, he has to like does Alicia know who the financial advisor is?
• 48:22
SPEAKER_00: Does she, if something did suddenly happen to him, would she know what to do to get access to this?
• 48:27
  SPEAKER_00: Like, probably not.
• 48:29
SPEAKER_00: So he just has to like bring her to an appointment with the advisor or the lawyer so they can sit her down and explain to her like what the arrangement actually is.
• 48:40
  SPEAKER_00: She clearly doesn't know.
• 48:42
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 48:43
SPEAKER_00: Like, I think he's making these arrangements behind the scenes, thinking that like that's fine, and she needs to actually know what the arrangements are.
• 48:52
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, she needs to be led, well, not led, but she needs to be like opened up to what exactly he has lined up, who he she needs to talk to, what she needs to do.
• 49:03
SPEAKER_01: And she should honestly, though, like for Pizza Mama, be if she isn't this involved, you know, and it shows that she's super involved even now because I just went to Pizza Mama last week, and she it like she's on the posters in there, her photos, it like you know what I mean.
• 49:20
  SPEAKER_01: It's like personal brand.
• 49:22
SPEAKER_01: It's like she's selling the merch, like things like that.
• 49:27
SPEAKER_01: She uh she interacts with everyone who comments on the Instagram.
• 49:31
SPEAKER_01: It it's a very small place, it's like one long bench and like I don't know, eight chairs or something, and it's counter service.
• 49:39
SPEAKER_01: It is a vibe when you go inside.
• 49:41
SPEAKER_01: Like Slater really thought it was cool because like it's a really nice, like red, like tiny bench.
• 49:47
SPEAKER_01: The chandeliers are really cool.
• 49:50
SPEAKER_01: The bathroom itself has like a chandelier behind glass that hangs down the wall.
• 49:55
SPEAKER_01: So, I mean, it makes sense.
• 49:56
SPEAKER_01: And I thought that her coming up with these different ideas for Billy, and he ended up liking them, is a really good sign too, and you get everything in writing, which was really smart as well, um, for when if they open up another one, that type of thing.
• 50:15
SPEAKER_00: I think they're gonna after listening to this, I think they're gonna be fine.
• 50:18
SPEAKER_00: I just think that they both have work to do.
• 50:20
SPEAKER_00: I think she has work to do in that like she needs to learn how to verbalize what her role actually is and like say it.
• 50:28
SPEAKER_00: And he needs to show her the business side and the money arrangement and just like educate her on what that is, and like if they do that, I think they'd be completely fine.
• 50:39
SPEAKER_00: I think that they do have a good relationship.
• 50:42
SPEAKER_00: I just think maybe some of this stuff about how she's feeling maybe just didn't really occur to him.
• 50:47
SPEAKER_00: Like, I don't, I mean, I'm not defending it, like, it is a little misogynistic, but if that's how they've been functioning for 10 years, like he's probably just like, What's the problem?
• 50:55
SPEAKER_00: Like, I have this arranged for you guys, but she doesn't know that because she has all this trauma from what happened to her because of her dad.
• 51:03
SPEAKER_00: So I think I can I definitely this was very illuminating for me, but she is yeah, that restaurant is her personal brand, and like and I think he he recognizes that.
• 51:17
SPEAKER_00: Like, I see this moving in a positive direction.
• 51:20
SPEAKER_00: I'm hopeful for this, and I thought her ideas were really good.
• 51:23
  SPEAKER_01: I thought so too.
• 51:24
SPEAKER_01: Like, I really like the promise notes, and then I did notice that they did put a heart shape pizza up on their Instagram yesterday.
• 51:31
SPEAKER_01: Or uh, was it the dessert one?
• 51:33
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I'm going to go get that.
• 51:36
  SPEAKER_00: That looks fucking delicious.
• 51:38
  SPEAKER_00: So good.
• 51:38
  SPEAKER_01: I was obsessed.
• 51:39
SPEAKER_01: We we enjoyed our we tried different pieces this time than I tried last time, but it's really good.
• 51:44
SPEAKER_01: But um, I was just gonna say this conversation with Billy, I was gonna say it really it gives, like you said, it is illuminating, gives a different light.
• 51:54
SPEAKER_00: I don't think he realized I don't think he realized how this was affecting her.
• 51:59
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, how it was affecting her, how it made her feel.
• 52:02
SPEAKER_01: And I mean, to have that chance to vocalize.
• 52:05
SPEAKER_01: And I just love that she wanted it to be a vibe, like as well.
• 52:09
SPEAKER_01: It was very like Alicia coded, the PowerPoint match of Selena had her lipstick on.
• 52:15
SPEAKER_00: I don't think she realizes how good she actually is in business.
• 52:19
SPEAKER_00: Like, I don't I looked at that and I was like, this is somebody who's like a branding expert.
• 52:25
SPEAKER_00: Like, I just don't think that she realizes how to, because her first thing was like right on the money.
• 52:30
SPEAKER_00: She was like, what differentiates Pizza Mama from any other pizza restaurant in the Northeast?
• 52:35
  SPEAKER_00: And she's right, there's a million of them.
• 52:37
SPEAKER_00: Like, what makes it different?
• 52:39
SPEAKER_00: What makes it different is her.
• 52:41
SPEAKER_00: So like her and her, yes, her vibe.
• 52:45
  SPEAKER_00: Like, it's her.
• 52:46
SPEAKER_00: That's called her personal brand.
• 52:47
SPEAKER_00: Like, I don't think she realizes how valuable she actually is to that business.
• 52:51
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I agree.
• 52:53
SPEAKER_01: So that was an eye-opening scene, and I felt better watching them interact.
• 52:58
SPEAKER_00: Me too, because I was like, I really like their relationship, and I feel like it's for this issue is totally fixable.
• 53:05
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it is.
• 53:06
  SPEAKER_01: I agree.
• 53:07
SPEAKER_01: Then we go into Rosie calling Ashley to apologize and how she doesn't want to see Kelsey, and she asks uh Ashley and says that she wants to get all the girls together, minus Kelsey, to go see Rich perform in Boston.
• 53:22
SPEAKER_01: And again, after watching this episode, Slater is adding that to our summer to-do list.
• 53:28
SPEAKER_01: He would like to go see Rich perform.
• 53:31
  SPEAKER_00: Oh my god.
• 53:32
SPEAKER_00: It is so fucking funny that this is what he does.
• 53:37
  SPEAKER_00: Like, so random.
• 53:39
  SPEAKER_01: I know.
• 53:39
  SPEAKER_01: It is, it is.
• 53:40
SPEAKER_01: And Slater was so pumped.
• 53:41
SPEAKER_01: He was like, Slater loves Frank Sinatra, and we have a thing for jazz, like, and that's why we played a bunch at the cocktail hour at our wedding.
• 53:50
SPEAKER_01: So Slater was like, This is so on my alley.
• 53:53
SPEAKER_01: It was like, we are gonna go.
• 53:54
SPEAKER_01: I was like, so we can get to see Rich.
• 53:56
SPEAKER_01: And he was like, No, so I can listen to Frank Sinatra.
• 53:59
SPEAKER_01: He was like, but what a random thing to do.
• 54:02
SPEAKER_00: It is so random, it's just so random to like that's like what you do.
• 54:07
SPEAKER_00: Like, how do you even get into that?
• 54:09
SPEAKER_01: Well, because he was trying to be a singer, remember?
• 54:12
SPEAKER_01: And we find out that Rosie was in his music video when he was a radio DJ or producer or something.
• 54:19
SPEAKER_00: It's definitely like an interesting career path to follow, for sure.
• 54:23
  SPEAKER_00: It is, it is.
• 54:25
SPEAKER_01: So then so funny, he's such a silly, funny guy.
• 54:29
SPEAKER_01: I know I really like him and Rosie, especially together.
• 54:33
SPEAKER_00: I think that I like a lot of the I are there any husband well, yeah.
• 54:38
SPEAKER_00: Obviously, all these guys are just blowing Brian out of the water, like yes, true, yes, because Brian just sucks.
• 54:45
  SPEAKER_00: Like, I love Gary.
• 54:47
SPEAKER_00: Gary's just very like macho, but in the best way.
• 54:51
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I love Rich is very silly, and I like love silly.
• 54:56
  unknown: Yep.
• 54:57
SPEAKER_00: And I do really like Alicia and Billy, and I think Billy is genuinely a really nice guy.
• 55:03
SPEAKER_01: Um Jerry just seems like a bro.
• 55:06
SPEAKER_01: I said, and Jared just seems like a bro, but I like him and Ashley.
• 55:10
  SPEAKER_01: I think they're cute.
• 55:11
  SPEAKER_01: Oh, Jerry.
• 55:12
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, but Jared doesn't really want to be on the show.
• 55:15
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I think he's over like reality TV theme.
• 55:18
SPEAKER_01: You know what I was thinking about before why this was going through my head before bed last night?
• 55:23
  SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
• 55:25
SPEAKER_01: But I was like, out of all the people that like behave the most normal on the show, it's Ashley, and she's the one that has like the most screen time.
• 55:35
SPEAKER_01: And she's just like screen time?
• 55:37
SPEAKER_01: Because she no, I meant like not in Rhode Island, like, but she's been on Bachelor and Paradise.
• 55:44
SPEAKER_00: Like, she's done the reality TV thing before, and she is just Yeah, but don't you think that that's just because like people from New England are kind of crazy and she's not from here?
• 55:55
SPEAKER_01: That me, yeah, that's true.
• 55:57
  SPEAKER_00: I think that's what it is.
• 56:00
  SPEAKER_00: Like, I do.
• 56:01
SPEAKER_00: I think that like we find this type of fighting like normal.
• 56:05
SPEAKER_00: Like the fights that they have in restaurants, like that's not I wouldn't be hiding under the table because I've seen that.
• 56:12
SPEAKER_00: And like I just I mean, it's entertaining, but it's not like I wouldn't start crying over that.
• 56:19
SPEAKER_00: Like, like when everyone's like, oh my god, Ashley, why is she crying?
• 56:22
SPEAKER_00: Like, I feel the same way because like that people speaking to each other like that isn't like new for me, but like to her, it's like so shocking and appalling, like she can't handle it.
• 56:33
  SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
• 56:34
SPEAKER_01: Maybe I spent too long in California.
• 56:36
  SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
• 56:38
SPEAKER_00: Well, I mean, I I just think that they're all very similar and like they're all very like that's the kind of the way things are around here.
• 56:48
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah, true.
• 56:49
SPEAKER_01: But I was just thinking, I was like, for some reason, just like before falling asleep last night, I was like, Ashley is like the most level-headed of the group, and I can understand, but it's just funny, like she but maybe she also knows like the best way to perform on TV because she's already been on TV.
• 57:06
SPEAKER_01: So maybe she can like I mean, I know she cries a lot, but maybe she keeps it in check better.
• 57:11
SPEAKER_00: She definitely balances them out.
• 57:13
SPEAKER_00: I don't I like don't want them to become aware of the cameras, though, because whenever Hell's Withs become aware of the cameras, they start to hide stuff and it's boring.
• 57:21
  SPEAKER_01: I know.
• 57:21
SPEAKER_01: I still need like someone staying down in their confessional and calling someone a douche.
• 57:25
SPEAKER_01: Like that was like eight moment.
• 57:29
  SPEAKER_00: That was hilarious.
• 57:31
  SPEAKER_01: I was like, I can't.
• 57:33
SPEAKER_01: They do, it's like unhinged, it's amazing.
• 57:36
  SPEAKER_00: It is, it's amazing.
• 57:37
  SPEAKER_00: It is.
• 57:38
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, they're they did their thing with a bunch of like the small clips, but can we just talk about how Kelsey pushes her trash down with her foot and like that's the whole clip?
• 57:48
SPEAKER_00: Like she can't even touch her own trash.
• 57:50
SPEAKER_01: Like she just she uses her bare foot and then just tosses the trash.
• 57:54
  SPEAKER_01: It works.
• 57:56
SPEAKER_00: I know worse to use your barefoot.
• 57:58
SPEAKER_01: It's like, why don't you pick it up and then wash her hands?
• 58:03
SPEAKER_01: Ashley, I had to like pause and think about I was like, Because you're there's no way after that you're going to the tub and washing your foot.
• 58:10
SPEAKER_00: So it's like why are you using it, like a normal person and then wash her hands?
• 58:15
SPEAKER_01: I was like, why are you using your foot?
• 58:17
SPEAKER_01: I was like, did someone change out her trash for so long?
• 58:19
SPEAKER_01: She doesn't know what she's supposed to do.
• 58:22
SPEAKER_00: She she was having everything done for her.
• 58:26
SPEAKER_00: Like common sense, you don't shove your foot into a trash can.
• 58:30
SPEAKER_00: No, that's just grosser to me.
• 58:32
SPEAKER_00: Like, unless you're literally willing to like get in the shower every time, like that's just crazy, babe.
• 58:38
SPEAKER_01: My mind was blown, and then as soon as like we go from that, we go to Rosie in a music video as a groupie for Rich.
• 58:46
SPEAKER_00: And I think so fucking funny.
• 58:50
SPEAKER_01: And then like how Rich needs his pinky ring because it makes him a better singer.
• 58:55
  SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
• 58:55
SPEAKER_01: I was just like, I'm just it was just so weird.
• 58:59
SPEAKER_01: It was just like this random cutscene, like, I can't even.
• 59:02
  SPEAKER_01: Mm-hmm.
• 59:03
SPEAKER_01: So then then we get into like a big part of the thing where Alicia meets at Joellen's house and they shows up in a lover outfit.
• 59:14
SPEAKER_01: That's the pink one from Akira, and they have they take their charcuterie board to go and their drinks, and they head up to Boston.
• 59:22
SPEAKER_00: Okay, I love how they've got a full-blown charcuterie board and drinks when they're just literally in like are they in like a Cadillac?
• 59:31
  SPEAKER_00: Has a Cadillac.
• 59:38
SPEAKER_01: I get I mean, you're paying enough for the private driver.
• 59:41
  SPEAKER_01: Why not?
• 59:42
SPEAKER_00: I don't know, but that was like pretty awesome.
• 59:44
SPEAKER_01: Um I don't know if the drinks were technically allowed, but I'm sure the characterie board was.
• 59:50
  SPEAKER_00: I guess it doesn't.
• 59:51
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
• 59:52
SPEAKER_00: Okay, I will start off by saying I do think Liz arrived in a pissy mood.
• 59:57
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, she didn't seem like she was in a good mood at all.
• 1:00:00
SPEAKER_01: Like she already she was ready to go, ready to fight.
• 1:00:03
SPEAKER_00: She seemed like she was ready to fight before anything had even happened as mentioned.
• 1:00:07
SPEAKER_00: Like I think she's like just she was scowling or something, like just in a dark mood.
• 1:00:14
  SPEAKER_01: Mm-hmm.
• 1:00:15
SPEAKER_00: And then it pops off.
• 1:00:18
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
• 1:00:19
SPEAKER_00: Well, so how it happens though is Alicia does bring it up, but I don't think she brought it up to start a fight.
• 1:00:26
SPEAKER_00: She just mentioned that she had been talking to her mother about how she opened up about the situation with her father, and then her mother said she was proud of her for expressing that because usually she kind of like buries it.
• 1:00:41
SPEAKER_00: And then Liz feels the need to again say that she's never homeless.
• 1:00:49
SPEAKER_00: Well, she's yeah, like she is like, it's like she's giving an apology that's not really an apology because she still is trying to prove her point.
• 1:00:58
SPEAKER_00: Like, she should have just said, I'm sorry if what I said offended you.
• 1:01:05
SPEAKER_00: I was thinking about it as like a homeless person sleeping on the street, but I am sorry of what happened to you, and I do understand.
• 1:01:12
SPEAKER_00: But instead, she's still like, but you were never homeless.
• 1:01:15
SPEAKER_00: And it's like, okay, but like, why do you keep making that point?
• 1:01:19
  SPEAKER_00: It's like she's emotional, she's crying about it.
• 1:01:22
SPEAKER_00: Like, stop digging your heels in about this.
• 1:01:25
SPEAKER_00: It's like semantics at this point, like she's so upset about it, and you feel the need to keep being like, but you weren't homeless, like in a super aggressive, nasty like inflection to her voice.
• 1:01:38
SPEAKER_00: I'm like, oh my god.
• 1:01:40
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and then they switch seeds so then she can see Alicia and still do the same thing, like still be like, I'm sorry, but it's like you're not sorry, I'm sorry, but is like you're not actually sorry, so like just don't even bother apologizing.
• 1:01:55
SPEAKER_01: No, because even Liz like, I can't take away how you feel, and like Dwellyn reiterates like your feelings are your feelings, and Liz is like, but you I can't take away how you feel, but you weren't ever homeless, like you just weren't, and only so again, she stopped with you can't we like we can't take away how you feel, period.
• 1:02:16
SPEAKER_00: No, we can't take away how you feel, but you weren't ever home.
• 1:02:19
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and then she was like, Can you just stop dissecting it?
• 1:02:22
SPEAKER_01: Like she just explained the whole thing.
• 1:02:24
SPEAKER_01: Her mom agreed with her, her mom and aunts fully understood what she was talking about, and Alicia is like over it.
• 1:02:32
SPEAKER_01: She just goes, like, Liz, you showed your true colors, like, fuck you, don't talk to me.
• 1:02:37
SPEAKER_00: Like she's yeah, I mean, I think that it was a little harsh to say you showed your true colors, but I think she was right when she used the word dissecting.
• 1:02:46
SPEAKER_00: I think that that was what Liz was doing.
• 1:02:48
SPEAKER_00: It's like you're taking, like, you're not looking at the full picture of what she's saying, you're taking this one specific term and like really like harping on it.
• 1:02:58
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, this one word is all you are taking from this whole story.
• 1:03:04
SPEAKER_00: And like, honestly, the point of the story is her dad is a fucking piece of shit for doing that.
• 1:03:11
SPEAKER_00: That's the point of the story.
• 1:03:12
SPEAKER_00: It's like you just abandoned your child and took all of the family assets for yourself and left them to go live with family.
• 1:03:22
SPEAKER_00: Like, this guy, I don't know who he is, but I hope he gets like fucking bad press after this because he's a piece of shit for doing this, and like that's the point of the story, yeah.
• 1:03:33
SPEAKER_00: And it's obviously had a huge effect on her whole life and how she handles relationships.
• 1:03:38
SPEAKER_01: So because she was engaged before Billy, she broke that off, then she's been with Billy for nine years, and she's obviously not gonna like me over nine years because they have Selena who's nine.
• 1:03:49
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and she still doesn't really feel like she can marry him.
• 1:03:53
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I mean, it's had a big effect on how she lives her life, like it's a sad, it's a sad story.
• 1:03:58
SPEAKER_00: Um also it's like when you see your friend crying, whether or not you still feel like you're right, it's like you should stop.
• 1:04:05
SPEAKER_00: Like fucking crying, like it's like enough.
• 1:04:07
  SPEAKER_00: You've made your point.
• 1:04:09
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and Liz makes sure to say in like professional, like, she wasn't coming from a mean place, and she's just trying again, she uses it like she just wants to protect Alicia's family, which is like understandable, but like, first of all, her family is all over the fucking show.
• 1:04:25
SPEAKER_01: Like, they have like their own thing.
• 1:04:28
SPEAKER_01: You can buy tickets to the own auntie events.
• 1:04:31
SPEAKER_01: I don't think the family, I think they're so close knit that like I think she is worried about it.
• 1:04:40
SPEAKER_00: No, I think she's worried too about the optics of like people jumping down Alicia's throat for using the word homeless when they're on the housewives, and like the housewives is like the sentiment of the show is that they're all wealthy.
• 1:04:56
SPEAKER_00: And I feel like just with the current like climate now, with everybody being hyper aware, if like you don't say something that's totally PC, I think that that's kind of what she was like talking about too, which I get, but it's like you made your fucking point.
• 1:05:13
SPEAKER_01: Also, I have to say, if you're watching Rhode Island and you haven't caught on to the non-PC-ness of Rhode Island, then I feel like New Englanders are built different and we're never like PC is like, yes, I understand, and I'll I'll probably get in trouble for this, but I also feel like New Englanders are really rough around the edges, and yeah, it's gonna come out on TV no matter what.
• 1:05:35
SPEAKER_01: Like people don't even know.
• 1:05:46
SPEAKER_00: No, but and but also too, the reality of it is is like there's again, like there's different shades to that situation.
• 1:05:54
SPEAKER_00: There's different shades to that situation.
• 1:05:55
SPEAKER_00: You don't have to, I mean, even people that are sleeping out on the streets, many of They still do have family that sometimes will take them in and then sometimes will kick them out.
• 1:06:05
SPEAKER_00: So it's there's different there's and then there's also some people that like live in a shelter or whatever, or some people that are yeah, living with family, and then maybe they relapse or something, their family's like, No, you have to go.
• 1:06:19
SPEAKER_00: Like, there's all there's like a thousand different situations that could be the case around homelessness, it's not like super black and white, and I feel like she's talking about it like super black and white, and it's not it's also not a competition of like who has it worse, like just because she wasn't in a situation where they were sleeping outside doesn't mean that she wasn't unhoused for a period of time.
• 1:06:45
SPEAKER_00: She was, they just had family that could take them in, so it doesn't need to be like a competition.
• 1:06:53
SPEAKER_00: You can only own this problem in your life if it's like the worst possible scenario.
• 1:06:59
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and then she expresses some feelings on Joelyn and calls her a fake and a phony, which I kind of feel like because Joelyn was totally against Alicia at dinner at Cersei, and then when she was in the car, she was like, as Liz kept saying in the next episode, like trying to be a peacemaker and trying to be a mediator, and it was like a weird switch for Joelyn.
• 1:07:23
SPEAKER_00: I think it was because she because I feel like in Newport the girls didn't get that how upset Alicia was in that moment.
• 1:07:33
SPEAKER_00: Like, I don't think that she knew until Alicia started crying in the car.
• 1:07:37
SPEAKER_00: Like that's why and I don't think Liz did either.
• 1:07:41
SPEAKER_00: I think that everybody just kind I think that they moved past it really quick because Alicia didn't say anything, she didn't really like stick up for herself, she just was upset about it, but she kept it to herself.
• 1:07:52
SPEAKER_00: And then in the car, I feel like Alicia was crying, and Liz was like being kind of still digging in.
• 1:07:59
SPEAKER_00: I think that's why Jo Allen was like, okay, like do you you need to stop?
• 1:08:03
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, uh yeah, it was like that was like hard to watch, but yeah, I felt like Liz was mad that Jo Allen wasn't like siding with her.
• 1:08:12
SPEAKER_01: It was very, it was just so awkward car ride, and I felt like it was just gonna be awkward like the whole time, and it started off awkward, and then it got even more awkward, and then there was yelling, and then you're in a car, and there's alcohol.
• 1:08:27
  SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
• 1:08:27
SPEAKER_01: And then did you catch the part where Liz like told Alicia just to go like eat her crackers?
• 1:08:33
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, she was being mean, yeah.
• 1:08:34
  SPEAKER_01: That's what I'm saying.
• 1:08:35
SPEAKER_01: Like, I feel like that's why I'm gonna be able to do it.
• 1:08:36
SPEAKER_01: At that point, she was being malicious.
• 1:08:39
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, she was being fucking mean, and I that's another reason why I feel like Jo Ellen wasn't siding with Liz or being like trying to like I think that's why when she was being peacemaker, she was more comforting Alicia versus comforting Liz because Liz didn't need to be comforted in that moment, she was being mean, like it's not about who's right, it's like you have one person that's crying and another person that's continuing to like go at them as the other girl cries.
• 1:09:07
SPEAKER_00: So, like, yeah, Joel and was like trying to comfort Alicia in that moment because Alicia was fucking crying, and Liz is like mad that Jo Ellen wasn't trying to like make Alicia see Liz's side.
• 1:09:16
SPEAKER_00: It's like you were being a bitch, like you were being a fucking bitch and she was crying.
• 1:09:22
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I don't know.
• 1:09:23
SPEAKER_00: Like, I I do agree that how it could come off is of what Joelan said at the dinner, but I honestly don't think that any of them knew how upset Alicia was about this at the dinner in Newport because they moved past it so quickly.
• 1:09:39
SPEAKER_01: Understand all, yeah, that makes sense.
• 1:09:41
  SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
• 1:09:42
  SPEAKER_01: And I find Joelan, I mean, I'm not trying like I don't know.
• 1:09:46
SPEAKER_01: I find Joelan to be kind of like her, Rose, I don't know.
• 1:09:51
SPEAKER_01: At this point, I think they all like to stir the fucking pot.
• 1:09:53
  SPEAKER_01: So I I have no idea.
• 1:09:55
SPEAKER_01: My mind has like flip-flop so much lately, but sometimes I do feel like it because I feel like even when they were at so I'm skipping ahead, sorry, but to the next episode where she basically asks Kelsey to like pick sides, and I feel like Joelyn definitely inserts herself where she doesn't need to be inserted at the same time.
• 1:10:21
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 1:10:22
SPEAKER_01: So when she's just trying to, I understand that Alicia's having like this thing, and it's probably best.
• 1:10:28
  SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
• 1:10:29
SPEAKER_01: I feel like Joelyn could have handled it differently, but I felt but you aren't wrong in the fact that like Liz was being like a complete asshole.
• 1:10:36
SPEAKER_00: She was being an asshole, and like in this particular situation in the car ride, it's only the three of them in the car.
• 1:10:43
SPEAKER_00: So what's Joel and supposed to do?
• 1:10:44
SPEAKER_00: Just sit there in silence.
• 1:10:46
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I guess that's it.
• 1:10:47
SPEAKER_00: It doesn't shock me that I mean, it doesn't shock me that she inserted herself because it it's like it the conversation got totally out of hand, and it's like somebody has to say something to try to diffuse the situation in the moment.
• 1:11:02
SPEAKER_00: I honestly think that Liz was just pissed off that she wasn't agreeing with her.
• 1:11:05
  SPEAKER_01: I can see that.
• 1:11:07
SPEAKER_00: I just don't, even though Joelan did have that opinion at the dinner, I just don't.
• 1:11:13
SPEAKER_00: I think that she had the wherewithal to be like, this isn't the time for me to express that opinion because Alicia's sitting here fucking crying.
• 1:11:22
SPEAKER_00: Like, what is she supposed to do?
• 1:11:24
SPEAKER_00: Like Alicia's crying, and Joelan's like, well, you have to understand like Liz's side.
• 1:11:28
  SPEAKER_00: It's like just stop.
• 1:11:30
SPEAKER_00: And Liz just kept coming in.
• 1:11:31
SPEAKER_00: Like, even when Joelan was kind of trying to do that, Liz was like still going at Alicia, like over her.
• 1:11:39
SPEAKER_00: She just still kept making these like malicious little comments.
• 1:11:42
SPEAKER_00: Like, she was like pissed and she was being really like mean.
• 1:11:46
  SPEAKER_01: Mm-hmm.
• 1:11:47
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 1:11:47
SPEAKER_01: We've definitely in the in the past few episodes seen sides of Liz that I'm not I'm gonna need to see some redeeming.
• 1:11:56
SPEAKER_01: I mean, I still, I mean, as someone who likes Teresa Judy's, I need to see some redeeming.
• 1:12:03
SPEAKER_00: I just think that again, the red like I was with her up to a certain point, but this scene I was not with her on.
• 1:12:13
SPEAKER_00: Like I was like, that was what you took that like way too fucking far.
• 1:12:18
SPEAKER_01: Like, I yeah, I think she did, and she continues to take it like way too fucking far.
• 1:12:23
SPEAKER_01: And it just is getting too much, and but I think out of like all the housewives though, the one I really just like don't see myself liking is Kelsey going forward.
• 1:12:35
  SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
• 1:12:36
SPEAKER_01: I like, and I don't want to say that, but like I'm like, I like all the rest of them.
• 1:12:40
SPEAKER_01: I will say Slater's favorite is Rosie.
• 1:12:43
SPEAKER_01: He thinks Rosie is great.
• 1:12:45
SPEAKER_00: He thinks Lisa on the show.
• 1:12:49
SPEAKER_00: I definitely like her on the show.
• 1:12:50
SPEAKER_00: I think they all definitely add something.
• 1:12:53
SPEAKER_00: Kelsey's personality is is flat right now.
• 1:12:57
  SPEAKER_01: I need a little more thing.
• 1:13:00
SPEAKER_01: I just you are correct.
• 1:13:02
SPEAKER_01: She is flat, so that's probably why I like just don't feel it right now.
• 1:13:07
  SPEAKER_00: I just don't like right now.
• 1:13:10
SPEAKER_00: Right now, I just don't like how her whole person, her whole like personality right now is just like the boyfriends.
• 1:13:18
SPEAKER_00: Like that is what boyfriends are picking on Rosie.
• 1:13:21
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, well, like she looked, she's like, who is Rosemary Woods?
• 1:13:25
SPEAKER_00: It's like who is Kelsey Swanson?
• 1:13:27
SPEAKER_00: Like, you have right now, she has none of her own identity.
• 1:13:31
SPEAKER_00: It's just 100% about her relationship with the ex and now her relationship with Bill, and like the relationship with the ex is creeping into our relationship with Bill.
• 1:13:40
SPEAKER_00: It's like we still don't know anything about Kelsey.
• 1:13:42
  SPEAKER_00: It's like I'm not sure.
• 1:13:43
SPEAKER_01: And it's not like the masks came off.
• 1:13:45
SPEAKER_01: We didn't get like anything.
• 1:13:47
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, we're not getting anything from her right now.
• 1:13:50
SPEAKER_00: So I guess it's not that I dislike her.
• 1:13:52
SPEAKER_00: I just want more from her.
• 1:13:53
SPEAKER_00: I want and I want more for her.
• 1:13:55
SPEAKER_00: Just like I'm just very into like financial empowerment for women, and it bothers me that she is presenting herself like she has to have a boyfriend for financial support.
• 1:14:09
SPEAKER_00: It doesn't bother me that she was living with him and he was really wealthy.
• 1:14:13
SPEAKER_00: It's like, yeah, if you have a rich boyfriend and they have all this money, great.
• 1:14:17
SPEAKER_00: Like you can live in that house, there's plenty of room for you.
• 1:14:20
  SPEAKER_00: Like, live it up.
• 1:14:21
SPEAKER_00: Like, I don't have any problem with that.
• 1:14:22
SPEAKER_00: It I have what I have a problem with is her acting like, you know, well, how am I ever gonna pay for my health insurance without him if like Bill Bill isn't gonna pay for that?
• 1:14:31
SPEAKER_00: It's like you can pay for it.
• 1:14:33
SPEAKER_00: Like you're on you're on the show, like you have your like you're getting your life, like you're doing like the beauty stuff, like you claim that you were saving and investing while you were living with him.
• 1:14:45
SPEAKER_00: Like, don't act like you're like this helpless flower, like you can do it.
• 1:14:49
SPEAKER_00: Like it just it really just does bother me.
• 1:14:52
SPEAKER_00: Like, I'm like, come on, yeah, yeah.
• 1:14:53
SPEAKER_00: Like you can survive without his additional help.
• 1:14:58
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 1:14:58
  SPEAKER_00: Like, I just don't, I just don't like that.
• 1:15:00
SPEAKER_00: Like, I just don't like the whole narrative that like he needs to continue to cover if Bill won't.
• 1:15:06
SPEAKER_00: And it also just kind of makes Bill look like a piece of shit, and he's not, he's just a normal person.
• 1:15:11
SPEAKER_01: I know, it's not like he's doing anything wrong, he just isn't a billionaire.
• 1:15:16
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, he can't afford to fund her entire life, but it's like, okay, but you can fund the rest of your life again.
• 1:15:27
SPEAKER_00: Yes, like I understand the initial help because it's like she left, she didn't have anything, she didn't have room, furniture, like all of that stuff.
• 1:15:35
SPEAKER_00: Like, I get the initial, like, okay, I'm gonna help you with like some things, but that's not like well, I'll continue to pay for you as long as you don't get another serious boyfriend.
• 1:15:45
SPEAKER_00: It's like that kind of seems like you're a girlfriend for pay at that point.
• 1:15:49
SPEAKER_01: Wow, this episode was enlightening.
• 1:15:51
  SPEAKER_01: That's what that was.
• 1:15:54
SPEAKER_00: There's so much to every single episode.
• 1:15:57
  SPEAKER_00: It's like I know.
• 1:15:58
SPEAKER_01: It's like I have to like stop, pause, and like seriously take like hardcore notes every single time.
• 1:16:04
  SPEAKER_01: So I know, I know.
• 1:16:06
