- 0:08Speaker 1: Scalable advice for sure. It's time nice love love, love, love, love, love,
- 0:15Speaker 1: love and love. Hello, welcome to the naughty but Nice Show. Yeah,
- 0:18Speaker 1: hey is rom Shooter and it is Friday, which means
- 0:20Speaker 1: our dear friend Corey Andrew joins us. Hey, Cory, are
- 0:23Speaker 1: you there? I am here?
- 0:24Speaker 2: Hello everyone, Happy Friday.
- 0:27Speaker 1: Hello, Hello, thank you for your lovely note everybody. Corey
- 0:29Speaker 1: Noughty's it was really really touching. On yesterday's show, I
- 0:33Speaker 1: announced that my father had passed just the day before,
- 0:36Speaker 1: and the notes were really kind, the dms, the texts, everything,
- 0:40Speaker 1: thank you, thank you, thank you, naughtyse Let's jump into
- 0:43Speaker 1: our show. What time is it? My friends? It is
- 0:46Speaker 1: tea time. Big story at the top of the show,
- 0:48Speaker 1: So Jennifer Aniston is talking about her twenty year fertility
- 0:53Speaker 1: struggle and she said, nobody really knew my story. So
- 0:56Speaker 1: years and years of whispers about Jennifer and she's final
- 1:00Speaker 1: set in the record straight and she's silencing over two
- 1:04Speaker 1: decades of speculation about why she never had children. It's
- 1:08Speaker 1: interesting she's sitting down with a rare interview. She doesn't
- 1:10Speaker 1: do a lot of interviews. She's doing this with Harper's
- 1:13Speaker 1: bizarre UK, she's doing it in the UK. I thought
- 1:15Speaker 1: that was interesting, and she revealed that over the last
- 1:18Speaker 1: twenty years she has secretly undergone IVF treatments, battling really
- 1:23Speaker 1: hard to start a family while the press the tabloids
- 1:26Speaker 1: painted her as Korea obsessed. She said, they didn't know
- 1:30Speaker 1: my story. I was trying everything IVF, Chinese teas, whatever
- 1:35Speaker 1: might help, but it just wasn't meant to be now
- 1:39Speaker 1: at the time. If you remember when she broke up
- 1:41Speaker 1: with Brad Pearts all the way back in two thousand
- 1:44Speaker 1: and five, twenty years ago, people said a lot of
- 1:47Speaker 1: reports were that she chose fame over family. The narrative
- 1:52Speaker 1: at the time was the Brad wanted children and she didn't,
- 1:55Speaker 1: and then when he moved on with Angelina and he
- 1:58Speaker 1: got a lot of children. I think it was in
- 2:01Speaker 1: total that seemed to play into this narrative well, Jen
- 2:04Speaker 1: saying while all that was going on, she was trying
- 2:06Speaker 1: really really hard to have a baby. It didn't work out.
- 2:10Speaker 1: She said, I have zero regrets. That chapter of my
- 2:13Speaker 1: life is close, but I'm proud of the woman I
- 2:16Speaker 1: have become. She has found happiness now with her new
- 2:18Speaker 1: boyfriend Jim Curtis. It just goes to show you you
- 2:22Speaker 1: don't know someone's complete story. In fact, what you know
- 2:27Speaker 1: about somebody might be less than ten twenty thirty percent
- 2:31Speaker 1: of their life. In fact, the only person that you
- 2:35Speaker 1: know one hundred percent, one hundred percent of the story
- 2:39Speaker 1: is you. You're the only person in your life right where
- 2:42Speaker 1: you've got a hundred not even your partner, not your
- 2:45Speaker 1: best friend. The only story that you have one hundred
- 2:48Speaker 1: percent of is your own. Don't forget that.
- 2:51Speaker 2: Yeah, it's funny because when you said that, I was thinking, like,
- 2:53Speaker 2: the main thing when it comes to a celebrity culture
- 2:55Speaker 2: as well, is so many of us take and face
- 2:59Speaker 2: value what we think we know about celebrities because of
- 3:02Speaker 2: the stories that we're hearing her whomever has told them
- 3:04Speaker 2: that we listen to. But again, even in that world,
- 3:07Speaker 2: it's only really the truth to the actual celebrity. Everything
- 3:11Speaker 2: else is just make believe until they confirm it. So
- 3:15Speaker 2: but then again we also that's our business though to
- 3:17Speaker 2: speculate is that business?
- 3:20Speaker 1: And the trouble with that theory is celebrities that always
- 3:22Speaker 1: tell the truth, Like there has been stories over the
- 3:25Speaker 1: last twenty years that Jen really wanted children, I remember
- 3:28Speaker 1: ten years ago when I was an Okay magazine she
- 3:31Speaker 1: was thinking about adopting. Yeah, we did that story. And
- 3:34Speaker 1: so the story that she does not like is that
- 3:36Speaker 1: all she focused on was creat right. She doesn't mind
- 3:39Speaker 1: the adoption stories, the IVF stories, they were out there.
- 3:42Speaker 1: But the story that she doesn't like is that she
- 3:45Speaker 1: didn't want children, which I actually don't really remember reading that.
- 3:50Speaker 1: All the stories on jend that I read it should
- 3:52Speaker 1: love to be a mom, but she hadn't found the
- 3:54Speaker 1: right guy. She was struggling a little bit. But this
- 3:57Speaker 1: story about her not wanting children, we had to go
- 3:59Speaker 1: back tow to yrs. You know, when Jen did this
- 4:02Speaker 1: interview just a couple of days ago. I read it today.
- 4:05Speaker 1: When Jen did this interview, it sort of reminded me
- 4:07Speaker 1: I'd forgotten about that narrative. My narrative on general. The
- 4:11Speaker 1: narrative that I remember is that she would love to
- 4:13Speaker 1: be a mom. It just never happened.
- 4:15Speaker 2: Yeah, and I think, you know what, if she had
- 4:18Speaker 2: made that choice. We want to make sure we're not
- 4:19Speaker 2: demonizing women who make that choice, because there are plenty
- 4:23Speaker 2: of women. I have friends. They're like, I'm a good auntie,
- 4:27Speaker 2: I'm a good cousin, and I get to give those
- 4:29Speaker 2: kids back to their mom at five o'clock and I
- 4:31Speaker 2: go on with my life. Some women choose not to
- 4:34Speaker 2: do that and not to be moms, and that's okay too,
- 4:36Speaker 2: that's okay.
- 4:37Speaker 1: Yeah, oh, well, said Carl. I think men too, like
- 4:39Speaker 1: particularly now there's a lot of my gay friends who
- 4:41Speaker 1: are having children. Yeah. Yeah. And it's a conversation Peruson,
- 4:44Speaker 1: I had for less than two minutes because we both
- 4:48Speaker 1: said absolutely not. I'm a great uncle. I am a
- 4:53Speaker 1: lot of fun of the children's party. But then me
- 4:57Speaker 1: and you go to Bartudo's and we don't tal children
- 5:00Speaker 1: with us. It's not my thing. My brothers and sisters
- 5:03Speaker 1: have children. They are wonderful, particularly now that my dad's pasted.
- 5:06Speaker 1: Were all on group text and talking and enjoying each other.
- 5:09Speaker 1: But it's not for me. But Jenny's finally setting the
- 5:12Speaker 1: record straight. Now. I wanted to know why she doing
- 5:14Speaker 1: it now, so I hit the phones. Sources are telling
- 5:16Speaker 1: me she's in a really good place, she's really really happy,
- 5:19Speaker 1: she has a ton of money, she has a great guy.
- 5:21Speaker 1: She's in a good place. So now she can tell
- 5:24Speaker 1: her story, and I think the sense I'm getting from
- 5:26Speaker 1: the people I spoke to. She regrets that she hadn't
- 5:29Speaker 1: told this twenty years ago. Like twenty years ago when
- 5:31Speaker 1: the press was saying she didn't want kids, she could
- 5:34Speaker 1: have quite easily put out a statement or sat down
- 5:36Speaker 1: and said I do. And all those years that she
- 5:39Speaker 1: was undergoing IVF, it's her story, it's not ours to tell.
- 5:42Speaker 1: So I respect that she didn't want it out there,
- 5:45Speaker 1: but I think had she spoken about it, it might
- 5:47Speaker 1: have helped a lot of other people who were going
- 5:50Speaker 1: through this. There were a lot of people out there,
- 5:52Speaker 1: you know, we were joking about not wanting children. I
- 5:55Speaker 1: know people that really want children and can't have them.
- 5:57Speaker 1: I'm struggling to have my friend really really struggled for years.
- 6:02Speaker 1: She did the IVF, she did all the treatments. Now
- 6:05Speaker 1: she has a beautiful daughter. But it's a lot of
- 6:08Speaker 1: work to have this baby. And so let's all be
- 6:11Speaker 1: a little bit kinder when we're talking about babies, families, pregnancies,
- 6:16Speaker 1: expanding your family, your definition of a family. I say,
- 6:20Speaker 1: we get everybody grace, which brings us to our whole
- 6:24Speaker 1: question of the day. Jennifer is finally talking out after
- 6:27Speaker 1: twenty years about her fertility struggle. Should she have done
- 6:31Speaker 1: it sooner? What do you think should jenn have spoken
- 6:33Speaker 1: at sooner? Yes or no? Go? Vote on our Twitter
- 6:37Speaker 1: page at Naisy and Nyce rom Our facebook page is
- 6:40Speaker 1: naughty concept and we sure to check back on Monday
- 6:44Speaker 1: to hear your results. Hey Corey, what are you working on? Yes?
- 6:49Speaker 2: Well, there is some chaos in the world of casting
- 6:52Speaker 2: the new Real Housewives.
- 6:53Speaker 1: Of New York. There always is.
- 6:55Speaker 2: Apparently nothing is working on the show, so you know
- 6:59Speaker 2: it's there once glittering Real Housewives of New York franchise.
- 7:03Speaker 2: Now the reboot has it. It's turned into a casting nightmare. Apparently,
- 7:08Speaker 2: an Insiders tail hashtag shooters scoop that the network is
- 7:10Speaker 2: really at its wits end. Nothing is working, said one
- 7:15Speaker 2: top level source. Every woman Bravo wants won't even touch
- 7:18Speaker 2: the show, and every woman who wants to do it
- 7:20Speaker 2: is an absolute train wreck. So, according to Insiders executives,
- 7:24Speaker 2: they hope to refresh the franchise, or at least the
- 7:27Speaker 2: Real Housewives of New York yet again, after a lackluster
- 7:30Speaker 2: reboot season that really failed to deliver that old school excitement,
- 7:34Speaker 2: that old school buzz, but the search for a new
- 7:37Speaker 2: ensemble that can really inspire the audience. It's gone completely
- 7:41Speaker 2: off the rails. It's fallen flat. They've met with social lights, entrepreneurs, designers, influencers.
- 7:46Speaker 2: Nobody wants the smoke, but one casting insider dishes that
- 7:51Speaker 2: the Upper east Side women want the influence, just not
- 7:54Speaker 2: the end fighting, which is really interesting because I had
- 7:57Speaker 2: a good friend who was on Basketball Wives, and she's
- 8:00Speaker 2: a very upscale, very smart woman. She did like one
- 8:03Speaker 2: or two episodes and she said no, thank you and
- 8:06Speaker 2: never returned. Some of these women they don't want to
- 8:09Speaker 2: be bothered. But Rob, you know you and I talked
- 8:11Speaker 2: about something a while back. Maybe the genre is just done.
- 8:15Speaker 2: Maybe this this this behavior, bad behavior being celebrated.
- 8:21Speaker 1: Maybe it's just for me. It feels it feels over
- 8:23Speaker 1: any I think they should just go away for a
- 8:25Speaker 1: little while, man, maybe pull the plug for five or
- 8:28Speaker 1: six years, or or maybe just two or three years
- 8:30Speaker 1: and start overall all brand new, because at the minute,
- 8:34Speaker 1: I think we're all just tired by it now. This
- 8:36Speaker 1: show has always been controversial, but in the beginning, when
- 8:39Speaker 1: the original cast signed up, they didn't really know what
- 8:41Speaker 1: it was. John Saren and Beth and Me and Ramona
- 8:46Speaker 1: they thought they were on a mummy show. Originally it
- 8:48Speaker 1: was going to be a show about New York moms,
- 8:50Speaker 1: and then they turned it into a housewives show, and
- 8:53Speaker 1: so they got cast not really knowing what they were
- 8:56Speaker 1: going to get into. Now everybody knows. Everybody, even if
- 9:01Speaker 1: you don't watch the show, you're aware of how toxic
- 9:04Speaker 1: it is. You know what they want out of it.
- 9:06Speaker 1: And so it is interesting. The people the brother wants,
- 9:08Speaker 1: they want Kelly Ripper, they want Sarah Jessica Park, they
- 9:12Speaker 1: want They're not gonna do it ever. Ever, I don't
- 9:15Speaker 1: think you're even gonna get the Ramona Singer types anymore.
- 9:18Speaker 1: Although she probably would go back in a heartbeat. I
- 9:21Speaker 1: think the ones that were fired, that were let go
- 9:23Speaker 1: probably all want to go back. It's really tricky because
- 9:27Speaker 1: how does Andy Andy Cohen is a very smart, very
- 9:30Speaker 1: talented producer, how does he freshen this series, how does
- 9:34Speaker 1: he reboot it? How does he keep it relevant? Or
- 9:38Speaker 1: is the DNA of the Real Housewives no longer working today?
- 9:44Speaker 1: And it's not about tweaking. It's not about changing one
- 9:48Speaker 1: casts another. It's not about bringing in some people of color.
- 9:52Speaker 1: It's not about bringing in a lesbian house. It's about
- 9:55Speaker 1: the whole thing just doesn't work anymore. It's set up
- 9:59Speaker 1: like it's idiator that we're we're fighting to the death
- 10:02Speaker 1: in the middle of a pit, and that isn't where
- 10:07Speaker 1: the country is at the moment. I think there's so
- 10:08Speaker 1: much ugly stuff going on in the real news, But
- 10:12Speaker 1: now when I turn on my reality shows, I want
- 10:14Speaker 1: to escape or go somewhere glamorous. I don't want all
- 10:17Speaker 1: the fights, and I don't want any political stuff. I
- 10:19Speaker 1: don't want all the nasty. It got nasty. It really
- 10:21Speaker 1: did get nasty. And I think when you said, Corey,
- 10:23Speaker 1: we are rewarding bad behavior, I'm sick of doing that.
- 10:26Speaker 1: I haven't watched this show in a couple of years.
- 10:29Speaker 1: I used to be a real fan of it. I
- 10:31Speaker 1: really thoroughly enjoy it. Maybe two or three years, Corey,
- 10:34Speaker 1: I just don't care anymore. What makes me feel dirty afterwards. Yeah,
- 10:37Speaker 1: I'm the same way.
- 10:37Speaker 2: I mean, I have to kind of cover it to
- 10:39Speaker 2: a degree because of what we do, so we have
- 10:41Speaker 2: to kind of know who the players are. But I'm
- 10:42Speaker 2: not really enthralled in that world either. And You're right,
- 10:45Speaker 2: the world itself that we live in is so divisive.
- 10:48Speaker 2: We can't escape it.
- 10:49Speaker 1: We turn on the news.
- 10:50Speaker 2: I tell you, like months ago, Joey who came in
- 10:52Speaker 2: and I was watching like the news, and I was
- 10:54Speaker 2: like cursing the TV. He goes turn that off and
- 10:57Speaker 2: we're putting on the masked singer.
- 11:00Speaker 1: So which is.
- 11:02Speaker 2: And we got enthralled in the mask singer and do.
- 11:06Speaker 1: It, do it, do it. At the moment, this show
- 11:08Speaker 1: is just not the right show for the moment. Maybe
- 11:11Speaker 1: everybody should just take a little bit of a break.
- 11:13Speaker 1: Bravo if you're listening. Okay, moving along. Keith Urban's guitarist
- 11:17Speaker 1: Maggie Brule is being accused of using the divorce to
- 11:22Speaker 1: sell her music. So Maggie is the alleged romance, she's
- 11:26Speaker 1: the rumored person to be with Keith Herman. Well, now
- 11:30Speaker 1: people are saying she's milking the moment because guess what
- 11:33Speaker 1: she's done. I sort of like this, Maggie. She put
- 11:35Speaker 1: out a single. It's just I like the hutspa it makes.
- 11:43Speaker 1: The track is called the Devil Wins or just a
- 11:47Speaker 1: speculation about the relationship has exploded her timing. People say
- 11:52Speaker 1: it's no coincidence. She's letting people connect the dots she
- 11:56Speaker 1: knows curiosity sells now. She's not given out a statement,
- 12:00Speaker 1: she's not commented on if she is the other woman,
- 12:03Speaker 1: not the devil. But what she did is she dropped
- 12:06Speaker 1: a single. I listened to it. I quite like it now, Corey, Yes,
- 12:10Speaker 1: is it tacky? Yes? Is it opportunistic? Absolutely yes. But
- 12:13Speaker 1: when an opportunity comes along in the music business, you
- 12:15Speaker 1: do it. Got to sort of jump at it. So
- 12:18Speaker 1: she is a really talented musician, but not a household name.
- 12:21Speaker 1: She's not a key urban, she's not a carry underwood.
- 12:24Speaker 1: Very very talented. She needs a break. I'm not sure
- 12:28Speaker 1: breaking up a marriage is going to give her supports.
- 12:32Speaker 1: What do you think as a performer, as a musician, Corey,
- 12:35Speaker 1: is this tack here? Is this really talented?
- 12:38Speaker 2: You know it's a combination of votes. It's tacky, but
- 12:41Speaker 2: it's talent when it comes to knowing how to turn
- 12:44Speaker 2: a PR make a PR moment from your story, which
- 12:46Speaker 2: is really what we always know celebrities do to make
- 12:50Speaker 2: that fifteen minutes go a little longer, or to get
- 12:52Speaker 2: the fifteen minutes to begin with.
- 12:54Speaker 1: I will caution her.
- 12:56Speaker 2: We talked about this on the show recently, where a
- 12:58Speaker 2: lot of that Celesteberti circle that Keith Urban has enjoyed
- 13:03Speaker 2: the past, world past live with his wife Nicole Kidman.
- 13:07Speaker 2: That's all going away. God, So she's got to be
- 13:10Speaker 2: very careful that she doesn't become like a social pariah
- 13:14Speaker 2: as the new girlfriend. She could be totally shut out
- 13:17Speaker 2: of the music industry now or Hollywood circles, so she
- 13:20Speaker 2: could be cutting off her own career before it starts.
- 13:22Speaker 2: Be very careful, miss Maggie.
- 13:25Speaker 1: Be careful, miss Maggie. Okay, Cody, what's going on with
- 13:27Speaker 1: Justin Bieber? Has a message for his mommy what to say? Yeah,
- 13:31Speaker 1: well his mom, you.
- 13:32Speaker 2: Know, she meant, well, you know, but his mother she's well,
- 13:35Speaker 2: look at this start from the beginning.
- 13:36Speaker 1: So pop superstar Justin Bieber.
- 13:38Speaker 2: Of course he's throwing shade at his mom, Patty, So
- 13:40Speaker 2: she shared a heartfelt post. She was said in a
- 13:44Speaker 2: post online that she was praying for her son's healing
- 13:47Speaker 2: and it's a gesture that you know, he just didn't
- 13:50Speaker 2: really appreciate because when she said, we're cheering you on
- 13:53Speaker 2: and praying for you always Justin, Patty wrote on Instagram
- 13:56Speaker 2: this message. Of course, she says, I declare freedom, strength, clarity,
- 13:59Speaker 2: and healing over you. But instead of thanking her, Justin
- 14:03Speaker 2: hit back with a sarcastic comment that left his fans stunned.
- 14:06Speaker 2: He said, the only thing I need healing from is
- 14:09Speaker 2: my rold pinky toe from playing ping pong. Now his
- 14:12Speaker 2: mom meant well, of course, But the thing is Justin
- 14:15Speaker 2: Bieber doesn't like to look like he's a wounded puppy
- 14:19Speaker 2: or he needs fixing, although he sort of projects that
- 14:22Speaker 2: himself very often on social media. But if his mom
- 14:25Speaker 2: meant well, maybe the idea would have been better projected
- 14:28Speaker 2: like a private text to herself. That's what I was
- 14:31Speaker 2: going to give him a phone call on social media.
- 14:34Speaker 1: He got his email. Mommy, Cory's been kind to you.
- 14:38Speaker 1: Might have meant well, but the method of delivering very
- 14:42Speaker 1: very opportunistic. I know Justin is snapping back quickly before
- 14:47Speaker 1: we get a break to Lula Willie. So I've always
- 14:49Speaker 1: always liked his calling gap Perez Hilton saying you made
- 14:52Speaker 1: me want to end it all. She's talking about her life.
- 14:55Speaker 1: She's thirty one years old now, and she is flashing
- 14:59Speaker 1: back to when she was just thirteen years old, and
- 15:00Speaker 1: she said, Perez, bully, do you remember when he was
- 15:04Speaker 1: a thirteen year old for money. You made me want
- 15:07Speaker 1: to end it all. Perez is a very complicated person.
- 15:10Speaker 1: I've known him for a very long time, and I'd
- 15:13Speaker 1: sort of forgot how ugly. That's so sad it was.
- 15:16Speaker 1: It was vicious, it was, and we loved it. And
- 15:19Speaker 1: the nastier he was the more we read it. Yeah,
- 15:23Speaker 1: we don't want to admnute, but there was a moment
- 15:25Speaker 1: we're just talking about this with housewives. Perez was, he
- 15:28Speaker 1: was rewarded. He was the original mean girl, and now
- 15:31Speaker 1: he has changed his tone. He has grown, so we
- 15:34Speaker 1: have to give him a tip of the hat for that.
- 15:36Speaker 1: But you still did say this. There was a thirteen
- 15:39Speaker 1: year old girl. She talked about her jaw. She has
- 15:41Speaker 1: a very strong jaw like her dad, and she said
- 15:44Speaker 1: when she was thirteen and Perez would make fun of her,
- 15:47Speaker 1: she hates it. Now she's really got to love in
- 15:49Speaker 1: her own face and she thinks it's one of her
- 15:51Speaker 1: strongest assets. I agree. But be careful what you say.
- 15:55Speaker 1: Be careful what you say out there people, particularly children,
- 15:58Speaker 1: they will listen. Okay, we're going to take a quick
- 16:02Speaker 1: break and we will be right back. Welcome back to
- 16:06Speaker 1: the Naughty But nic sham your stop shooting. I dear
- 16:08Speaker 1: friend Cory Andrew, Hey, Corey, let's get to the polls
- 16:11Speaker 1: we talked about hilarious Hillary Baldwin had a meltdown and
- 16:15Speaker 1: after getting eliminated from Dancing with the Stars, she blamed
- 16:18Speaker 1: everybody by herself. The wrong song, the wrong camerangle, the
- 16:21Speaker 1: wrong dress, the wrong partner. Does she only have herself
- 16:24Speaker 1: to blame? Eighty seven percent said yes, you're not Dancing
- 16:28Speaker 1: with the Stars. It's not a dancing competition. It's a
- 16:31Speaker 1: popularity competition. And she's not very popular, not only because
- 16:35Speaker 1: she's not that well known, but the people that do
- 16:38Speaker 1: like her don't really like her all. And so the
- 16:43Speaker 1: people that do know her don't don't like her. Don't
- 16:46Speaker 1: forget to vote, an't today's pol Go to a Twitter page,

- 16:53Speaker 1: on Monday to hear your results. And now it's.
- 16:58Speaker 2: Time for a Noise of the day. Yes, well, this
- 17:03Speaker 2: is a sweet story. It's a little bit about one
- 17:05Speaker 2: of the Spice Girls. So in her new Netflix docuseriies
- 17:08Speaker 2: Victoria Beckham, the fifty one year old fashion icon confesses
- 17:13Speaker 2: that she's well aware of her reputation of being a
- 17:15Speaker 2: little icy and colder, looking miserable on the camera.
- 17:19Speaker 1: You know she always did.
- 17:20Speaker 2: Actually she never smiled. But she claims it's all about
- 17:23Speaker 2: the angle and a little insecurity. So here's a fact,
- 17:26Speaker 2: she says with a.
- 17:27Speaker 1: Laugh, mind you.
- 17:28Speaker 2: So she's being very lighthearted. She says, I've always looked
- 17:32Speaker 2: miserable for all these years because David always stood on
- 17:35Speaker 2: my left and I smile from my left. If I
- 17:37Speaker 2: smile from my right, I look unwell. It seems a
- 17:40Speaker 2: little suspicious to me. But okay, whatever you say, Victoria.
- 17:43Speaker 2: But you know, she says, I've been smiling on the
- 17:45Speaker 2: inside all along.
- 17:46Speaker 1: And so basically, you know, she is.
- 17:48Speaker 2: Sharing how she was a bullied schoolgirl in her youth
- 17:51Speaker 2: and she's overcome that to become one of the biggest
- 17:53Speaker 2: pop stars and now are the fashion icons. So you know,
- 17:57Speaker 2: so let's just say great for her. She's overcome it
- 17:59Speaker 2: and she's she's a great symbol of perseverance.
- 18:02Speaker 1: And there you go, look how you've had a niceness
- 18:04Speaker 1: there core. The day is the day Mega Mortal's jam
- 18:10Speaker 1: blunder is getting worse. So Megan Mardle posted a picture
- 18:13Speaker 1: of her making some homemade jam jam. Unfortunately she had
- 18:17Speaker 1: the jam lifter upside down in the photograph. Megan, this
- 18:21Speaker 1: is what the problem is. It's not a problem that
- 18:23Speaker 1: you're holding some of the cupside Dad. It's a problem
- 18:25Speaker 1: about authenticity. When your authenticity has been questioned, and it
- 18:30Speaker 1: has and then you do this, it just doesn't help Meghan.
- 18:34Speaker 1: I don't want to beat you up. We've all took
- 18:36Speaker 1: photographs that we shouldn't have taken. We've all made mistakes
- 18:38Speaker 1: in the kitchen. It's all gonna be okay. But it
- 18:41Speaker 1: just adds to this narrative that's becoming louder and louder
- 18:46Speaker 1: and louder, which is that you are not authentic or
- 18:50Speaker 1: Meghan and the day, let's end with a moment of
- 18:53Speaker 1: rub Just one small positive thought in the morning can
- 18:57Speaker 1: change a whole day. That's not fluff. That is neuroscience.
- 19:01Speaker 1: The moment you wake up, your brain is looking for
- 19:03Speaker 1: a direction. It wants to know where to go, and
- 19:06Speaker 1: if you feed it stress, it's going to spend the
- 19:08Speaker 1: whole day looking for problems. But if you feed it
- 19:10Speaker 1: something good, like I can handle today, or something amazed
- 19:14Speaker 1: and could happen today, your mind shifts into possibility mode.
- 19:19Speaker 1: You don't need a perfect morning routine. You don't. You
- 19:21Speaker 1: just need one intentional thought, one spark, to tell your
- 19:27Speaker 1: brain we're going to have a good day. I've obviously
- 19:32Speaker 1: had a couple of miserable days, and I woke up
- 19:35Speaker 1: this morning and I told myself something nice, and I've
- 19:38Speaker 1: had a really good, dad, wonderful one thought. Tell your
- 19:43Speaker 1: brain how to think, Tell yourself when you get out
- 19:46Speaker 1: of bed, just one, just one good thing, and let
- 19:49Speaker 1: your brain look for good things all day long. Hey,
- 19:53Speaker 1: that is it for this week. Thank you so much
