Speaker 1: Lord Christ, but their own appetites and base desires, That's

Speaker 1: what they serve. Manipulating people, they don't serve Our Lord Christ.

Speaker 1: By smooth and flattering speech, they deceive the hearts of

Speaker 1: the unsuspecting, the innocent, and the naive unsuspecting. See it's cruelty, man.

Speaker 1: influencers and some people in position, and some people in power,

Speaker 1: both in politics and religious circles and churches and organizations

Speaker 1: and cults. Right even on the dark side of things,

Speaker 1: these other things that are used on by these people.

Speaker 1: Such people do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but

Speaker 1: they serve their own appetites and their own basis eyes.

Speaker 1: Apostle Paul was onto it already back in the church

Speaker 1: days when he wrote it right. People were trying to

Speaker 1: do this already early, as soon as the Gospel was

Speaker 1: already being written. They were doing it early in the

Speaker 1: Old Covenant. It was happening as well as in a

Speaker 1: New Covenant. So this is nothing new. God knew it

Speaker 1: was coming. God knew it was gonna happen. But we

Speaker 1: get these warnings, and if we take heed to the warning,

Speaker 1: I believe we'll be in a better space. We won't

Speaker 1: be unsuspecting, Amen, the innocent and the naive will be

Speaker 1: getting manipulated. So here we come as believers in Christ

Speaker 1: and say, listen, brother, you're being played. Listen, sister, be

Speaker 1: careful of what that man is talking telling you about.

Speaker 1: He's trying to manipulate it. Not in all cases, obviously, Amen.

Speaker 1: people are not serving our Lord Christ but their own appetites.

Speaker 1: By smooth talk and flattery, they deceive the minds of

Speaker 1: naive people. Deception is huge all It's found all over

Speaker 1: the scriptures. God himself never deceived. The prophets could have

Speaker 1: been deceived. But when they were operating prophetically under the

Speaker 1: unction and under the inspiration of a holy God, and

Speaker 1: operating in their purpose, they didn't have to use deception.

Speaker 1: But when when they were outside of their purpose, right

Speaker 1: when they were speaking out of turn, when their own evil,

Speaker 1: sinful desires were trying to take over the situation, and

Speaker 1: they were being manipulated by their own desires, deception was

Speaker 1: running all over the place. So all the people who

Speaker 1: are saying that the word of God is not relevant anymore,

Speaker 1: I don't know how you could deny that people are

Speaker 1: not still using manipulation, using flattery, smooth talk to manipulate

Speaker 1: people and deceive people. You think that's not happening anymore.

Speaker 1: The Bible spoke about it thousands of years ago, and

Speaker 1: it's still happening today. God knows what's going on. God

Speaker 1: knows about this world's system, which, by the way, he's

Speaker 1: not running. It's obvious, or it should be obvious that

Speaker 1: you and I know that the Lord Jesus, the Christ,

Speaker 1: the God of Heaven and Earth, the Triune God, is

Speaker 1: not running this world system. The world system is being

Speaker 1: run and operated by the devil and his cohorts for

Speaker 1: a little time, right, a little time of suffering, a

Speaker 1: little time of deception. But when that all is over, Amen,

Speaker 1: He also showed us that He is the Way, the Truth,

Speaker 1: of a man named Jesus who lived a perfect life,

Speaker 1: giving us an example that we could look at and see, Wow,

Speaker 1: Jesus was all that perfect man living in a sinful world,

Speaker 1: and yet he himself did not sin tempted every which

Speaker 1: way that we were, we will or we were tempted

Speaker 1: in all those ways, yet he did not sin. He

Speaker 1: took the sins upon himself, the sins of the world

Speaker 1: upon himself on that cross, yet he himself did not sin.

Speaker 1: the pendency that we were supposed to pay, Yet he

Speaker 1: or nothing. It seems like he's saying in love, but

Speaker 1: that's what there's saying out there like that, And there's

Speaker 1: some truth to that. But we knew when we do

Speaker 1: not careful, we could be manipulated to believe something else. Now,

Speaker 1: who is one of the most deceitful people in the

Speaker 1: whole entire universe, right, you got it right? Devil himself.

Speaker 1: He's a deceiver. Amen, he's a lie. He's been lying

Speaker 1: since the beginning, the Word of God says, So don't

Speaker 1: get into conversations with him, Amen, use the word of

Speaker 1: God to speak when he tries to trick you, and

Speaker 1: he tries to trick me. What did Jesus do and

Speaker 1: what did these show us? As an example, when the

Speaker 1: coming out of a fast and then he was in

Speaker 1: a fast and yeah, in the wilderness, he used the

Speaker 1: word of God, not any kind of argument or anything.

Speaker 1: He didn't have to argue. He is the Word, the

Speaker 1: living Word of God. And the enemy was trying his best,

Speaker 1: and God was like, okay, all I do is speak

Speaker 1: the word. He gave us that example for a reason.

Speaker 1: So all we have to do literally, speak the word

Speaker 1: when the enemy tries to deceive, when he tries to

Speaker 1: send people who have flattery and smooth talk to try

Speaker 1: to get us off our position, out of our alignment

Speaker 1: with God and get us distracted. He wants to get

Speaker 1: us off course. He wants us to get to a

Speaker 1: place where we don't know how to get back. Amen,

Speaker 1: you ever went through a corn maze and you go

Speaker 1: through his mazes and everybody's going in different directions, and

Speaker 1: then you bump into like walls, you dump, you bump

Speaker 1: into dead ends, and you're like, man, how did I

Speaker 1: get here? Because you was on the wrong path and man,

Speaker 1: and that mains was designed to get you off course.

Speaker 1: But when you get back on course, you start feeling like,

Speaker 1: I know I'm gonna do the right thing now, I

Speaker 1: know I'm going to go in the right direction. I

Speaker 1: know there's a way out. God wants you to know

Speaker 1: that today there is a way out of being lied to.

Speaker 1: This is a way out of being manipulated. There is

Speaker 1: a way out, and that is that we need to

Speaker 1: focus on him. He will never steer us in the

Speaker 1: wrong direction. He will never use smooth talk to deceive

Speaker 1: us or manipulate us. He will never force his way

Speaker 1: into our hearts and minds. But what he will do

Speaker 1: is show us who are the manipulators who's trying to

Speaker 1: force us to believe this, that, and the third. He

Speaker 1: will reveal them, expose them right, and he'll take care

Speaker 1: of his business. Like we read on the other day,

Speaker 1: those people will be stopped, Amen, those people will be stocked,

Speaker 1: and they're lying, they're hurt. Full flattering mouth will come

Speaker 1: to ruin Amen. In Proverbs chapter twenty six, verse twenty eight,

Speaker 1: a lying tongue hates those it hurts, and a flattering

Speaker 1: mouth works ruin those manipulators. Man, they're not coming to

Speaker 1: help you out. They're coming to destroy what you built.

Speaker 1: Right for whatever reason. Most of the time, I believe

Speaker 1: these manipulators are just wanting their own self to be

Speaker 1: raised up. They want to get ahead of you and

Speaker 1: of me. They want to try to stay and these

Speaker 1: levels above us in this world. Because literally the Word

Speaker 1: of God says, for those who are in Christ, we

Speaker 1: are already seated in heavenly places. But as we're being humble,

Speaker 1: we know that we're here right now on this planet earth.

Speaker 1: A man in real time, physically, a man. So we

Speaker 1: are the hope of glory because of Holy Spirit who

Speaker 1: lives inside of us. And every single believer will call

Speaker 1: upon the name of the Lord to be saved. We're blameless, right,

Speaker 1: we are righteous according to what God says. We are

Speaker 1: holy priesthood. Amen. We are the chosen ones. Many are

Speaker 1: called the few are chosen, and we are just moving

Speaker 1: in love and we're not using manipulative tactics. Amen. If

Speaker 1: I don't. I don't think you have to as a

Speaker 1: believer to speak the word and let the word of

Speaker 1: God penetrate the hearts and the minds of those who

Speaker 1: are seeking God, who are seeking truth, who want to

Speaker 1: be set free from lies and deceit, who don't want

Speaker 1: to be that person who's using manipolative practices. Amen. So

Speaker 1: if you're like in school, when you're studying psych class

Speaker 1: and psychology and now you know a little bit more

Speaker 1: about how moods and attitudes can be used for your advantage, Amen,

Speaker 1: be careful with that because sometimes those teachings, those worldly

Speaker 1: teachings which have some truth in it. You know, there's

Speaker 1: people who are smart that study human psyche. Amen, I

Speaker 1: believe that's few pretty much by the enemy who also

Speaker 1: knows human psyche. Just be mindful that you don't have

Speaker 1: to use those tactics when you're preaching the word of God.

Speaker 1: You don't have to use those tactics when you're in

Speaker 1: front of people who are in need of Jesus to

Speaker 1: speak the word and love. Listen to their story, and
