- 0:49Dayna Roselli: We have an updated list of closures that will last through October.
- 0:53Dayna Roselli: All that and more coming up on Vegas Revealed.
- 0:56Sean McAllister: Let's spin that wheel.
- 0:57Sean McAllister: Let's go to Vegas, baby.
- 1:02Sean McAllister: Let's go tonight.
- 1:04Sean McAllister: Right now, let's go.
- 1:05Sean McAllister: Welcome to episode 181 of Vegas Revealed Sean McAllister here, along with Dayna, Roselli and Dayna.
- 1:12Sean McAllister: We were joking that we're kind of in gender reveal colors today.
- 1:16Dayna Roselli: I don't know what happened.
- 1:16Dayna Roselli: I came over in light pink.
- 1:18Dayna Roselli: You were in a blue button down.
- 1:19Dayna Roselli: I'm like you know which?
- 1:20Sean McAllister: do you want, boy or girl, do you want a Dayna or a Sean?
- 1:23Dayna Roselli: Exactly, but I'm seeing so many more of those online lately.
- 1:26Dayna Roselli: It's like everyone's having babies, so that's immediately what I thought of.
- 1:29Sean McAllister: Well, and they're getting intricate too.
- 1:31Sean McAllister: It's not just like the confetti poppers and like the paintballs, no, like it's getting.
- 1:36Sean McAllister: They're turning into productions.
- 1:38Dayna Roselli: It's a production the world's full of video right.
- 1:40Dayna Roselli: Everyone has to make a video, I guess.
- 1:42Sean McAllister: That's right.
- 1:42Sean McAllister: Insightful media can help with that.
- 1:43Dayna Roselli: Exactly, hey, listen.
- 1:45Dayna Roselli: Thanks to all our subscribers, as usual.
- 1:48Dayna Roselli: We love you, we love you.
- 1:50Dayna Roselli: We appreciate your support.
- 1:51Dayna Roselli: And also, of course, vegas, near me, one of our sponsors.
- 1:55Dayna Roselli: Download that app for free.
- 1:56Dayna Roselli: The link is in our show notes.
- 1:57Dayna Roselli: And then, of course, hot Works, our newest sponsor.
- 1:59Dayna Roselli: We hope people are taking advantage of that free enrollment fee right now.
- 2:05Dayna Roselli: This month you can go to a Hot Works around the Las Vegas area and they're gonna wave that $99 signup fee, so it's good.
- 2:11Sean McAllister: And one thing I wanted to ask you about.
- 2:13Sean McAllister: With Hot Works, Dana, I know that it's 24 seven and you book your classes through the app, but how does that work?
- 2:21Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 2:21Dayna Roselli: Well, a lot of people say to me first of all, like, oh, I don't know, the hot classes are too much for me.
- 2:25Dayna Roselli: So here's the deal it's infrared, so it's not a humid hot.
- 2:29Dayna Roselli: By the way, you go into an actual private infrared sauna.
- 2:34Dayna Roselli: You control how hot you want it to be.
- 2:36Dayna Roselli: They recommend it to be at 125, but if you wanna start and be 90, fine.
- 2:40Dayna Roselli: So when I say, go alone, so it's 24, seven, and what I mean is you go on an app and then you pick the class that you're interested in doing and then you reserve your spot at the time just to kind of hold it, and you head there and you have a code, your own personal code, to get in the door and then close it behind you and it locks.
- 2:59Sean McAllister: So it's secure.
- 3:00Dayna Roselli: It's secure and the classes are virtual, so they're on a loop, so say you're running a little bit late.
- 3:05Dayna Roselli: I always used to hate if, like, there was heavy traffic or I was running late from work and I couldn't get to class at six o'clock because everyone was going to be staring at me walking in late.
- 3:13Dayna Roselli: Right, you're the late one, yeah, but this one is virtual, so like there's no pressure if you're a couple minutes late.
- 3:20Dayna Roselli: If you're there early, you can do some weights and get some workout in and then or you can wait another turn because it's 30 minutes later or 15 minutes later.
- 3:29Dayna Roselli: The classes are short, so that's how it works.
- 3:32Dayna Roselli: You book it right in the app and it's 24, 70 and go whenever you want.
- 3:35Dayna Roselli: It's really great.
- 3:35Dayna Roselli: There's a shower, a bathroom, a couple bathrooms.
- 3:38Dayna Roselli: If you want to like, hop in and you've got somewhere to go after.
- 3:41Dayna Roselli: So it's good.
- 3:42Dayna Roselli: And they provide towels.
- 3:43Sean McAllister: I love it and we'll have more on hot works coming up in just a little bit here on the podcast and of course you can get more information down in our show notes as well.
- 3:52Dayna Roselli: Well, let's talk about Kylie Minogue and her new Las Vegas residency.
- 3:56Sean McAllister: Let's.
- 3:57Sean McAllister: So.
- 3:57Sean McAllister: This is something that's been rumored for a long time.
- 3:59Sean McAllister: Kylie has now announced her Las Vegas residency over at Venetian and Palazzo, and boy is there a lot to talk about.
- 4:08Dayna Roselli: You know, people were thrilled when they heard about this, you know, and it's in a new venue called Voltaire, and this is inside the old Rock of Ages Theater.
- 4:17Dayna Roselli: They've actually gutted it, redone it, and we showed some renderings and let me tell you people were going nuts and so were we.
- 4:23Dayna Roselli: It's gorgeous.
- 4:25Sean McAllister: It really is like kind of an art deco, old Hollywood style vibe in there, very luxurious feel, and that's kind of the vibe that they're going for with this whole residency.
- 4:38Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and I'm excited about it because I think there should be more of this in Las Vegas.
- 4:41Dayna Roselli: So they're saying not only, you know, kylie is going to be like the inaugural headliner, right, but they're also saying they're going to be like DJs and burlesque and performances.
- 4:51Dayna Roselli: So I have a feeling, and I don't know for sure, but it sounds like you'll go to this venue, voltaire, you will watch Kylie perform and do her show and then there'll be other kinds of things going on for kind of a nightlifey feel afterwards.
- 5:06Dayna Roselli: And I know you had mentioned that they're going to be doing some table service serving drinks and some cookies, champagne, you know, not full, full menu, but but table for service there.
- 5:17Sean McAllister: Yeah, not not a full meal, but definitely some little things to snack on.
- 5:20Sean McAllister: Yeah, elevated things to snack on, like caviar.
- 5:24Sean McAllister: Right, as you're there to enjoy the entire experience at Voltaire and it seems like, boy, a lot of people wanted to be there to have that experience- Well, okay.
- 5:36Dayna Roselli: So we announced the tickets were going on sale and we had a couple of people ask us like what time?
- 5:40Dayna Roselli: And I was like gosh, I don't know.
- 5:41Dayna Roselli: So I even put our email into the Voltaire website to get information.
- 5:46Dayna Roselli: Didn't ever get an email.
- 5:48Dayna Roselli: The day before they ended up selling VIP packages, and I think that was through Ticketmaster.
- 5:53Dayna Roselli: But the actual tickets for the show that went to the general population not a package went on sale Wednesday and it well was making a lot of people upset.
- 6:08Dayna Roselli: A lot of people did not get tickets, but here's the deal Kylie sold out in an instant.
- 6:14Sean McAllister: Yeah, and it created a lot of conversation, spirited conversation online amongst her fans who are like what the heck is going on here.
- 6:26Sean McAllister: I know some people complained that they had wait times of like a ridiculous amount of time.
- 6:33Dayna Roselli: Yeah, like 22,000 hours or something, and it's like wait what?
- 6:37Dayna Roselli: Okay, I'll be here for three days or whatever it was.
- 6:41Dayna Roselli: I don't know.
- 6:41Dayna Roselli: Not calculating right now, not in the mood.
- 6:44Sean McAllister: So I mean, that was one thing that people complained about.
- 6:47Sean McAllister: Another thing people complained about was that ticket prices were rising as the ticket buying process was happening.
- 6:56Dayna Roselli: Yeah, like they were supposed to be 200, but then they were going to like 250.
- 7:01Dayna Roselli: And a lot of people are kind of calling out, kylie, like you should have, you know, had a better plan in place.
- 7:07Dayna Roselli: This isn't a good look for you and but it's interesting because Voltaire, the website, was selling the ticket, so it wasn't going through like a ticket master or an AXS.
- 7:16Sean McAllister: Right.
- 7:17Dayna Roselli: And now people are saying, well gosh, I kind of wish I've never thought I'd say this, but wish it was through.
- 7:23Dayna Roselli: Ticket master would have been a little bit more organized.
- 7:26Dayna Roselli: So we aren't sure what happened.
- 7:28Dayna Roselli: Maybe the website wasn't ready to handle.
- 7:30Dayna Roselli: Maybe the website didn't realize the fan base that Kylie has.
- 7:35Dayna Roselli: I'm assuming that Voltaire does know that.
- 7:38Dayna Roselli: That's why they chose Kylie to headline this new venue.
- 7:41Sean McAllister: Exactly and keep in mind, this venue holds like a thousand people, so this is not a huge venue and there are only a limited number of tickets available for the limited number of shows that have been announced.
- 7:55Sean McAllister: Now, given the demand that we saw, I've got to believe that more shows are on the way, yeah.
- 8:03Dayna Roselli: Because she's starting like November 3rd and then I think November, december and I think a couple shows in January possibly two yeah, those are also down.
- 8:11Dayna Roselli: I know we wonder if she's going to extend.
- 8:13Dayna Roselli: We assume that she's going to extend.
- 8:15Dayna Roselli: There were a couple frustrated people that made comments on some of our social media saying that they actually got a table and it went through.
- 8:24Dayna Roselli: Then they were sent an email saying oh whoops.
- 8:28Dayna Roselli: Yeah, we're taking your table away but don't worry, we'll refund you.
- 8:31Dayna Roselli: So they are extremely upset, and I do understand that.
- 8:34Dayna Roselli: I don't know they got to figure that out.
- 8:36Dayna Roselli: I'm hoping, but what I do like is that Vegas offers an intimate experience for people that come here.
- 8:44Dayna Roselli: You don't always have to get a chance to see artists that you love in such a small venue.
- 8:52Dayna Roselli: True, and there's demand for that, but I think everyone in the entertainment world should be watching this and saying, yeah, there is demand for this.
- 9:01Dayna Roselli: Let's bring back the medium sized showroom.
- 9:04Dayna Roselli: Let's bring back the small showroom that we ditched after COVID, because people want to see their favorites up close and personal and have an experience.
- 9:15Sean McAllister: Well, and I saw somebody else mention online that they were like oh, I wonder if this is like Kylie's management team testing the waters for like a full scale, full blown tour, you know, to see what kind of demand there is.
- 9:33Sean McAllister: How many people are going to be on there trying to buy tickets.
- 9:36Sean McAllister: Clearly there's incredible demand, yeah definitely.
- 9:41Dayna Roselli: I mean it's definitely and, like I was telling you, like it's not so bad for a website to crash when people are trying to buy tickets to your event.
- 9:48Sean McAllister: It's frustrating for fans, but big picture it's not a bad look for.
- 9:52Dayna Roselli: Kylie right.
- 9:53Sean McAllister: I mean, it's better than having your tickets go on sale and being like, oh yeah, guess we're not crashing today.
- 10:02Sean McAllister: I know.
- 10:04Dayna Roselli: Well, I know, and I'm, like you know, hearing crickets.
- 10:07Dayna Roselli: So we actually inserted this part into the audio podcast because we had recorded earlier in the week and we like to be as current as we possibly can, even though we're a weekly podcast, not a daily.
- 10:18Dayna Roselli: But we did have planned to share some, I guess, comments from Kylie.
- 10:23Dayna Roselli: She was interviewed at her announcement and we know you love Kylie and so we thought you know what.
- 10:29Dayna Roselli: Let's listen to her talk about what she's looking forward to when it comes to her new Las Vegas residency.
- 10:36Dayna Roselli: Voltaire is so exciting because this is a couture venue.
- 10:40Dayna Roselli: This is all brand new.
- 10:42Dayna Roselli: It's all done with a lot of intention for the experience of us as performers, but for everyone who comes to experience the night, whichever part of the night they choose to be there.
- 10:57Dayna Roselli: But I'm excited, for you know, when I talk to my friends and my family, they're so excited about this show as an excuse to come to Vegas.
- 11:07Dayna Roselli: I think a lot of Vegas stories begin with an excuse we're going for a wedding, or we're going for this or we're going for that show, and inevitably that leads to many other things.
- 11:18Dayna Roselli: So for me, I am looking forward to my time in Vegas, primarily to create this experience, to be able to deliver fun and this dreamlike space.
- 11:35Dayna Roselli: But I feel like I'm going to have that as well.
- 11:38Dayna Roselli: So it's going to be a very you know it's a two-way road.
- 11:44Dayna Roselli: I had so many direct messages from people on Instagram saying I love Kylie.
- 11:50Dayna Roselli: I literally want to go to like three shows.
- 11:52Dayna Roselli: I'm a huge fan and so I think she's going to do really well.
- 11:55Dayna Roselli: We look forward to seeing her show and if she does add shows, stick with us.
- 12:01Dayna Roselli: We'll definitely keep you posted here on the podcast and any of those people that direct message me.
- 12:05Dayna Roselli: I'll be sure to send them a personal note and let them know as soon as we know, but Kylie's residency isn't the only thing that's new over at the Venetian Impolato.
- 12:13Sean McAllister: They're also about to debut the Juliet Cocktail Room.
- 12:17Dayna Roselli: Yeah, this looks nice too, right?
- 12:19Dayna Roselli: Or it seems like it's going to be nice when in the description.
- 12:22Dayna Roselli: We haven't actually seen it.
- 12:23Dayna Roselli: We're going to go to the opening party and so we'll have more details in a future podcast, but I love all this that they're doing.
- 12:29Dayna Roselli: They've got Kylie coming, the Juliet Cocktail Room.
- 12:32Dayna Roselli: They just open Haasalan, which is like basically a party like you're in Tel Aviv and a living room and fabulous food.
- 12:40Dayna Roselli: I mean it's really cool what they're doing.
- 12:42Sean McAllister: Yeah, and the Juliet Cocktail Room.
- 12:44Sean McAllister: So it's taking over the space that used to be the Dorsey, if you're familiar with the Venetian Impolato, and just from some images that I've seen ahead of time, it looks like it's going to be several different rooms, kind of all with the same theme, but a little variation on a theme as you go throughout.
- 13:04Sean McAllister: So it seems like it's going to be really nice.
- 13:07Sean McAllister: We'll have more information on that after we get over there and experience it for ourselves.
- 13:11Sean McAllister: So we're excited about this.
- 13:13Sean McAllister: Lady Gaga has announced that she is bringing back her Jazz and Piano show to Park MGM.
- 13:19Dayna Roselli: Yeah, this is great for people who love Gaga and the show, because I know it's interesting because she did the two shows, the two style of shows, and every one really talked about the Jazz and Piano, so I love that she's choosing to bring that back.
- 13:33Sean McAllister: Yeah, and in this show she performs a lot of like the classic American song book in jazz stylings and she also performs some of her biggest hits in very stripped down in a very stripped down way.
- 13:48Sean McAllister: Sits down at the piano really just makes it special.
- 13:53Sean McAllister: It is a gorgeous evening.
- 13:55Sean McAllister: It is another like kind of a throwback style show.
- 14:01Dayna Roselli: And I know that she is probably going to have a tribute to the late Tony Bennett, who passed away recently.
- 14:08Sean McAllister: Without a doubt.
- 14:09Dayna Roselli: And had you know he came and performed at her show here in Las Vegas many times and you know, you've seen them duet together and they were very good friends, so that'll probably be something special.
- 14:19Dayna Roselli: Might even be why she's bringing it back so soon.
- 14:23Dayna Roselli: It's just like I need to get out and honor this man.
- 14:25Dayna Roselli: I don't know We'll see what happens, but I have a feeling she'll do a big tribute to him.
- 14:29Sean McAllister: Yeah, so August 31st is when those shows kick off and I'm sure that you know there will be a tribute to Tony and we'll be talking about it, you know, after August 31st.
- 14:38Sean McAllister: Once it once it happens.
- 14:40Dayna Roselli: And Bruno Mars has added more shows too, and so you can go see him now through 2023.
- 14:45Dayna Roselli: If you haven't seen Bruno yet, or you loved him and you want to come back, now's your chance, yeah.
- 14:50Sean McAllister: And also Luis Miguel.
- 14:52Sean McAllister: We already knew that he was coming here to Las Vegas for Mexican Independence Day weekend that's coming up in.
- 15:00Sean McAllister: September.
- 15:00Sean McAllister: Yeah, but also we just learned that he has added new dates to his international tour.
- 15:08Sean McAllister: That includes a stop here in Las Vegas at T-Mobile Arena.
- 15:12Dayna Roselli: Yeah, so that'll be a big one, you know.
- 15:13Dayna Roselli: So he's going from Park MGM to T-Mobile Arena.
- 15:17Dayna Roselli: So it depends how you want to see Luis.
- 15:18Dayna Roselli: Do you want to see the more intimate or do you want to see the big arena?
- 15:21Dayna Roselli: You have choices now, you do.
- 15:23Sean McAllister: And that arena show was April 19th of 2024.
- 15:28Sean McAllister: So you have a little more time to plan ahead.
- 15:30Sean McAllister: If you're within driving distance, maybe you want to come and see him in September.
- 15:34Dayna Roselli: Yeah, well, speaking of driving, and distance we've got to update our F1 closure report because, we got a lot of response last week.
- 15:44Dayna Roselli: We did People feeling our pain, understanding our frustration.
- 15:48Dayna Roselli: Listen, we are looking forward to Formula One and the Las Vegas Grand Prix coming here.
- 15:52Dayna Roselli: It's going to be awesome.
- 15:54Dayna Roselli: I'm super excited about it and I think everyone is.
- 15:57Dayna Roselli: It's just the traffic is so bad on and around the strip that it's become such a frustration for visitors to Las Vegas and locals.
- 16:05Sean McAllister: I mean, it's made it while the road paving is happening.
- 16:09Sean McAllister: It has made it very difficult to get around and it's created a lot of traffic backups, and so what we wanted to do?
- 16:17Sean McAllister: We reached out and got the updated list of closures that we can expect through October.
- 16:24Sean McAllister: So we want to pass those along to you so you are not caught in a surprised situation like we were the other night when we were trying to drive home from the strip.
- 16:35Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and we told you if you listen to our last podcast, it took us.
- 16:38Dayna Roselli: You know, normally it takes Sean and I 10, 15 minutes to get home tops we live pretty close to the strip and it took like an hour 20.
- 16:45Dayna Roselli: So it's a lot.
- 16:47Dayna Roselli: So there's going to be lane reductions and closures all around the strip.
- 16:50Dayna Roselli: So we've already it started, july 31st, this new section of closures, and it's going to go through Friday, october 6.
- 16:57Dayna Roselli: But there are different sections and different roads that are going to be done.
- 17:00Dayna Roselli: So right now, this week, actually, las Vegas Boulevard is being done, so that's a hassle for those folks that are in the heat in the midst of that.
- 17:10Dayna Roselli: Las Vegas Boulevard in Harmon, though, is going to be what's going to happen this following week, august 14th to the 18th.
- 17:16Dayna Roselli: So Las Vegas Boulevard and Harmon very busy intersection, to begin with.
- 17:20Sean McAllister: Yeah, up there by the Cosmopolitan Planet Hollywood, right at that corner.
- 17:25Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and then Harmon itself from August 21st to the 25th is going to be getting paved, have lane reductions, closures, all that.
- 17:34Dayna Roselli: That.
- 17:35Dayna Roselli: It's going to be tough and that's going probably all the way from, like, the Virgin Hotel down to the strip.
- 17:42Sean McAllister: Yeah, east-west, yeah, pretty much from where the car started.
- 17:46Sean McAllister: That paddock location too.
- 17:48Dayna Roselli: Right, right.
- 17:49Dayna Roselli: And then the Sphere site is going to be a part of this, september 18th to the 22nd, and then Harmon Avenue and Koval Lane, the paddock site, that'll be the 24th to the 29th of September, and then Koval Lane itself, october 2nd to October 6th.
- 18:04Dayna Roselli: So if you know where those locations are, it's all basically to the west sorry, to the east of the Las Vegas strip, all those little side roads that people use to connect to the strip.
- 18:14Sean McAllister: Yeah, how we all get to the strip.
- 18:16Dayna Roselli: Yeah, basically basically every which way we need to go.
- 18:19Dayna Roselli: So and the Sphere, you know, is opening what the 29th, with you too.
- 18:24Dayna Roselli: So yeah.
- 18:24Dayna Roselli: I mean they need to get ready so they have until September 22nd for their lane closures.
- 18:29Dayna Roselli: They need to open that up.
- 18:30Sean McAllister: Better stay on schedule.
- 18:31Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 18:32Sean McAllister: So that's what you can expect over the next coming weeks and months, as this road paving project continues and leading up to the Formula One race here in November.
- 18:43Dayna Roselli: Yeah, Well, I know you wanted to mention this a new restaurant opening over at Mandalay Bay.
- 18:48Sean McAllister: Yeah, and this one is by Michael Mina, who is a famous, celebrated chef who's had a presence here in Las Vegas for a really long time.
- 18:58Sean McAllister: This new restaurant is called Orla and it's opening over at Mandalay Bay and it's a Mediterranean inspired restaurant, which you know.
- 19:10Sean McAllister: We've talked about Mediterranean restaurants opening recently, but this one is more Greek, inspired by Greek food and Greek culture, so you know more of those fresh Mediterranean ingredients hitting the hitting the strip here, which I love.
- 19:26Sean McAllister: I love that entire.
- 19:28Sean McAllister: I don't know, do you call it a genre?
- 19:30Dayna Roselli: of food that type of cuisine.
- 19:32Dayna Roselli: Yes, thank you.
- 19:33Dayna Roselli: It's a little healthier, you know, although so many people are on Mediterranean diets lately too.
- 19:38Dayna Roselli: You know it's like, but I think we have a little bit of everything.
- 19:41Dayna Roselli: So if you want to indulge but I think people are always trying to eat healthier and you feel like if you go out and you splurge on a fish dish that maybe you're not gonna put as many calories in.
- 19:53Sean McAllister: That's right.
- 19:54Sean McAllister: Well, and it's like the Mediterranean kind of salads I always love to because they're so fresh.
- 20:00Sean McAllister: There's, I mean, really simple ingredients, but you need to do simple really well in order for it to taste really good Right now, and Michael Meena will do it right.
- 20:10Sean McAllister: He will.
- 20:11Dayna Roselli: So that'll be a good addition over at Mandalay Bay.
- 20:13Sean McAllister: And Orla opening this winter yeah.
- 20:17Dayna Roselli: Hey, listen, sean and I did a little project last Friday.
- 20:20Dayna Roselli: You may have seen it.
- 20:21Dayna Roselli: If you do watch our YouTube you can see.
- 20:22Dayna Roselli: Sean did a piece on Awakening.
- 20:25Dayna Roselli: We did a satellite media tour.
- 20:26Dayna Roselli: So we have a company called Insightful Media because people say, well, what's your real job?
- 20:30Dayna Roselli: Well, we own a media company and they say, well, what do you mean, what do you do?
- 20:34Dayna Roselli: But we provide talent.
- 20:35Dayna Roselli: We write scripts, we storytell, we edit, we shoot video, we media train, all of that.
- 20:42Dayna Roselli: And for this project you were the talent on a satellite media tour that basically promoted Awakening at Wind, las Vegas, around the country.
- 20:51Dayna Roselli: You did like 18 television stations around the country.
- 20:54Dayna Roselli: You were like, hey, good morning Kansas City.
- 20:56Sean McAllister: In St Louis, yeah, Charlotte, I mean Sacramento, Denver.
- 21:00Sean McAllister: We talked to a lot of our friends across the country.
- 21:04Sean McAllister: Let them know about Awakening over at at Wind, but this is one of the things that we're able to do with our media company.
- 21:13Sean McAllister: So, whether it's you have maybe a casino property or a restaurant group or something, whether it's here in Las Vegas or elsewhere, we can coordinate the kind of coverage that a satellite media tour offers to connect with different places around the country and let people know about what you do.
- 21:33Dayna Roselli: Yeah, it's just you know our many years in broadcasting this.
- 21:37Dayna Roselli: We're able to utilize that all the time with different projects, and so we love, you know, trying new things and then this worked really, really well.
- 21:45Dayna Roselli: So we're like you know, more people probably need to be doing this.
- 21:48Dayna Roselli: It's a great way to get exposure out there in an organic way.
- 21:52Dayna Roselli: You're presenting a story and we basically, you know you did a story and told the story of Awakening and all about it, and we heard from you know, the producers and directors, so it was a good piece.
- 22:04Dayna Roselli: But anyway, if you're interested, you can always contact us.
- 22:06Dayna Roselli: Just Google us.
- 22:08Dayna Roselli: You'll find us in Sightful Media.
- 22:10Dayna Roselli: Look up Dana Roselli and Sean McAllister.
- 22:13Dayna Roselli: We're in Sightful Media CO as incompanycom.
- 22:17Sean McAllister: All right, let's do some tips.
- 22:23Dayna Roselli: All right, here's a tip, something you may wanna do, or something you also just may wanna know about.
- 22:28Dayna Roselli: September 30th, the wedding capital of the world, which is Las Vegas, is celebrating 70 years with a big party.
- 22:35Sean McAllister: Yeah, so this is exciting.
- 22:36Sean McAllister: It was actually Las Vegas was designated the wedding capital of the world back in the 50s.
- 22:43Sean McAllister: It was a newspaper article actually that was published in London that coined that term for us here in Las Vegas, and we've been the wedding capital ever since.
- 22:53Sean McAllister: And so, yeah, the beginning of September we are now celebrating that title.
- 22:58Dayna Roselli: Yeah, there's a big event.
- 22:59Dayna Roselli: It's a brunch and like a huge mass vow renewal and there's gonna be a show.
- 23:04Dayna Roselli: That is, it was actually created for this event.
- 23:07Dayna Roselli: It's taking place over at Caesar's Palace.
- 23:10Dayna Roselli: You can buy tickets to just the show, which is an original show and it's gonna have a lot of Vegas performers in it, or you can buy a ticket if you wanna go attend the brunch and do the vow renewal as well.
- 23:21Dayna Roselli: And again, it's September 3rd.
- 23:23Dayna Roselli: It sounds like it's gonna be a really good time.
- 23:26Dayna Roselli: I know that Buddy V is helping to provide one of the cakes, and so there's a lot of special things planned.
- 23:31Sean McAllister: Yeah, we'll have a link down in our show notes to get tickets if you wanna be involved in that, or if you wanna just look at the website for more information, we'll have that down there as well.
- 23:43Dayna Roselli: I mean, we're known for all sorts of weddings.
- 23:45Dayna Roselli: We've got the quickie wedding, the drive-through wedding, the extravagant wedding, the weekend wedding, in and out, or the deciding on a whim.
- 23:53Dayna Roselli: Hey, let's just go get married, because we make it very easy here in Las Vegas for people to drive on up and get a marriage license and then pop into a chapel and tie the knot.
- 24:04Sean McAllister: Yeah the shotgun.
- 24:05Sean McAllister: Wedding, yeah the shotgun wedding.
- 24:06Dayna Roselli: Then we have annulments.
- 24:07Sean McAllister: Those happen too sometimes we have those as well.
- 24:09Sean McAllister: Yes, we do.
- 24:11Dayna Roselli: Lot of famous people have been married here in Las Vegas.
- 24:14Dayna Roselli: One of the most notable ones, elvis and Priscilla.
- 24:17Dayna Roselli: I'm sure you've seen images of that.
- 24:19Dayna Roselli: I know they're gonna actually make sure that they nod to some of those celebrity couples that got married here over the years as well.
- 24:27Sean McAllister: So it should be a good time.
- 24:27Sean McAllister: That'll be exciting Again September 3rd if you wanna take part.
- 24:31Sean McAllister: That link is down in our show notes, Something that a lot of people, a lot of gamblers, are going to be interested in.
- 24:38Sean McAllister: Back in May of 2022, the Cosmopolitan officially became part of MGM Resorts, and now we know an official date when the rewards program over at Cosmopolitan is going to shift under that MGM umbrella too.
- 24:58Dayna Roselli: Yeah, it's February 1st, so get ready.
- 25:00Dayna Roselli: If you are someone that utilizes your gaming rewards, you wanna know that the MGM Rewards Loyalty Program will begin February 1st of 2024.
- 25:12Dayna Roselli: And you'll get all sorts of different benefits that you get if you're playing at MGM.
- 25:18Dayna Roselli: So they're just gonna kind of finally move that whole program and merge it together.
- 25:24Sean McAllister: And MGM has 20 plus properties across the entire country and that rewards program applies to all of those.
- 25:32Sean McAllister: So your rewards will not only apply here in Las Vegas but to those casinos across the country.
- 25:38Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and a lot of people don't even realize or forget that the Cosmopolitan is owned by the MGM now.
- 25:44Dayna Roselli: That happened in 2022.
- 25:46Dayna Roselli: So you're already seeing a lot of things kind of change over.
- 25:49Dayna Roselli: But I popped into the Cosmopolitan recently and it still has all the same.
- 25:53Dayna Roselli: There's nothing like that changed really.
- 25:55Dayna Roselli: It has all the same character and a lot of the same restaurants and the casino floor looks the same.
- 26:00Dayna Roselli: So it's not like this big major redo.
- 26:03Sean McAllister: Right, and that is a unique property.
- 26:05Sean McAllister: It has its own kind of vibe, and so part of MGM taking that over was, I think, not stripping that away from the property, keeping the identity that Cosmopolitan has always had.
- 26:20Dayna Roselli: Yeah, for sure.
- 26:21Dayna Roselli: Hey, listen, if you have any ideas for us, you can always email us ideas at vegas-revealedcom.
- 26:28Dayna Roselli: We love hearing from you.

- 26:36Dayna Roselli: Take advantage of that Hot Works deal right now.
