- 1:37Speaker 2: You're right, You're right. I can't deny that. Yeah, I
- 1:42Speaker 2: can't deny that like you did, Like you were telling
- 1:44Speaker 2: me yesterday when I have did I'm quitting my job.
- 1:47Speaker 2: You're like, no, you're not. I'm like, you're not my dad.

- 1:55Speaker 2: he got me, he got me there oof, I got
- 1:58Speaker 2: I got gathered. That's that that that I had to
- 2:03Speaker 2: sit on that for a while. I'm like, wow, fuck,
- 2:07Speaker 2: that was a good one. Mm hmmm that was a
- 2:09Speaker 2: real good one. Mm hmmm mm hmm yeah I got googed.
- 2:19Speaker 1: Uh huh yeah. So anyway, yeah, sor anyway now that
- 2:23Speaker 1: now that Devon has been properly put in his place.
- 2:26Speaker 2: Uh Hi, I'm Devin and this is Jacob Jacob's gay show,
- 2:34Speaker 2: Gay Ship, gey Ship.
- 2:36Speaker 1: Oh fack, what does that make you?
- 2:38Speaker 2: I'm straight? I'm oh my god, oh my god, women,
- 2:46Speaker 2: oh my god. Yeah?
- 2:48Speaker 1: Oh what when I need the who? What? When we're
- 2:51Speaker 1: and why since when? There's nothing straight about you? Okay,
- 2:58Speaker 1: there's nothing straight about you? Okay, great, you're as gay
- 3:03Speaker 1: as the Greek pantheon. Gay.
- 3:07Speaker 2: Oh ship, that's pretty gay. That's pretty gay. That's pretty
- 3:10Speaker 2: gay right hm? Oh but yeah, it's walk on the
- 3:13Speaker 2: book Watchers where reduced I about say Spooky Ship run podcast.
- 3:18Speaker 2: We do bookship.
- 3:21Speaker 1: We do where we read books and ship and maybe
- 3:24Speaker 1: watch the movie if the movie is good. No, I say,
- 3:27Speaker 1: at this point, we've seen all the movies, every book
- 3:31Speaker 1: we've read, we've reviewed, we've seen the movies, and we
- 3:34Speaker 1: either massive amounts of ship about it or we actually,
- 3:39Speaker 1: on occasion, you know, rise it up, give it a lot,
- 3:42Speaker 1: give it the praise it deserves. All right, that's very rare.
- 3:45Speaker 1: I mean, Harry, the Harry Potter series was one of
- 3:48Speaker 1: the good ones. The Lord of the Rings was another
- 3:50Speaker 1: one of the good ones. And that's about it. Yeah, yeah,
- 3:56Speaker 1: made about the Hunger Games. So we haven't talked about
- 3:58Speaker 1: the Hunger Games yet. I'm not sure if we will.
- 4:02Speaker 2: Maybe maybe some day.
- 4:03Speaker 1: And it's not in the muted mute, not in the
- 4:06Speaker 1: immediate future.
- 4:08Speaker 2: Not in the media future, but someday maybe someday when
- 4:12Speaker 2: I read them. Maybe. But uh, yeah, I have not
- 4:17Speaker 2: read the Hard Games at all. And after what I've
- 4:20Speaker 2: heard about the what I've heard about the new book,
- 4:23Speaker 2: what the story is going to be? I low key
- 4:25Speaker 2: kind of when to start because.
- 4:28Speaker 1: There's gonna be a lot of sequel.
- 4:32Speaker 2: It's what's it's Oh my god, I'm terrible with names.
- 4:38Speaker 2: Hamage is Hamiages Conger Games that's the next book. You
- 4:46Speaker 2: know who that is, right, I.
- 4:47Speaker 1: Know who image is. Yes, I just I'm just like, really, yeah,
- 4:54Speaker 1: they're basically they're basically doing what Stephanie Meyer did, just
- 5:00Speaker 1: rewrote it.
- 5:01Speaker 2: No, I'm great, I'm happy with it. Like I want
- 5:03Speaker 2: to see all I would love to see a mini series.
- 5:05Speaker 2: I would love to see a series, honestly, make a
- 5:07Speaker 2: series of TV series where each season is at different
- 5:11Speaker 2: games throughout the history of the Hunger Games. Like I
- 5:14Speaker 2: would love to see that, like an anthology series and
- 5:18Speaker 2: just make each game different.
- 5:21Speaker 1: I mean, that's fine. It's just that, like, I don't know,
- 5:23Speaker 1: I'm over the Hunger Games. I haven't seen or read
- 5:30Speaker 1: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes.
- 5:34Speaker 2: Oh, don't talk to me. That movie was good. Don't
- 5:36Speaker 2: talk to me. You have to read that that or
- 5:39Speaker 2: at least watch it. The movie was good.
- 5:42Speaker 1: I don't know, it's like that's that's the things is that,
- 5:46Speaker 1: like Hunger Games fell into that category of these like
- 5:51Speaker 1: young adult these young adult stories like oh, like what
- 5:56Speaker 1: if post apocalyptic future kind of shit kind of deal,
- 6:00Speaker 1: And there were so many of those stories going around,
- 6:02Speaker 1: divergent Hunger Games to a lesser extent. Uh, the vampire's assistant,
- 6:10Speaker 1: and there were so many others and it's just like,
- 6:12Speaker 1: I'm really over these overly dramatic and it's pretty.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Eh. He says that ladies and gentlemen. But let me
- 6:26Speaker 2: tell you, he doesn't know yet, but we're gonna do
- 6:29Speaker 2: the Twilight series at some point in the future. I'm
- 6:31Speaker 2: want to force him to. He's I had to sit
- 6:34Speaker 2: there and talk about the Twilight series with me. Yeah,
- 6:41Speaker 2: because the movies. I kind of dig the movies, especially
- 6:45Speaker 2: the last one with that with Alice's premonition. It was iconic.
- 6:49Speaker 2: It made the whole series.
- 6:51Speaker 1: The most iconic part about that scene was when it
- 6:55Speaker 1: ended and everyone in the audience because I remember this
- 6:58Speaker 1: was in I was in I saw list in theaters,
- 7:00Speaker 1: everyone in the audience what.
- 7:03Speaker 2: Exactly? That was so perfect?
- 7:06Speaker 1: So like I laughed my ass off because I knew
- 7:09Speaker 1: that was gonna happen, because I already read the book
- 7:11Speaker 1: by that point, I knew that was gonna happen.
- 7:13Speaker 2: Oh, it was so good Midnight showing everyone lost their ship.
- 7:16Speaker 2: Oh my god. And then like, ah, it was great.
- 7:21Speaker 2: I'm using a lot of tiktoks of Twilight lately, and
- 7:24Speaker 2: I'm like, you know what with that and the new
- 7:27Speaker 2: anime that Netflix is the new U. Yeah, I think
- 7:30Speaker 2: it's a new anime that Netflix is doing for Twilight,
- 7:32Speaker 2: that's retelling the Twilight series. I think I'm probably going
- 7:37Speaker 2: to actually read the Twilet series at some point.
- 7:39Speaker 1: You haven't read it.
- 7:40Speaker 2: I have not read them, never did watch the movies,
- 7:43Speaker 2: never did never read it. Yeah, and that's true because
- 7:48Speaker 2: I mean the movies from why I heard the movies
- 7:50Speaker 2: are more fun. But I'm definitely gonna watch movies things
- 7:55Speaker 2: like you know, like when.
- 7:58Speaker 1: When movies change certain dialogues and to make it more
- 8:03Speaker 1: make more sense, because like you know, you wouldn't hear
- 8:05Speaker 1: people say this outside of say stuff like this outside
- 8:08Speaker 1: of a book. Yeah, I get a book. Okay, cool,
- 8:12Speaker 1: it's a book whatever, it's literature. It's written, you know,
- 8:17Speaker 1: you you the way you write is not the same
- 8:20Speaker 1: way as you talk, all right, not always the same
- 8:23Speaker 1: way as you talk, at least not in like proper
- 8:25Speaker 1: like English hit. But some of the dialogue the movies
- 8:34Speaker 1: kept from the books, I'm like, oh, they should have
- 8:36Speaker 1: left those in the book.
- 8:38Speaker 2: Yeah. But you know who you can blame for the
- 8:41Speaker 2: creature of Twilight. My chemical nine to eleven.
- 8:49Speaker 1: I'm sorry. I've there's only one song by my Chemical
- 8:52Speaker 1: Romance that I ever watched, and that was I ever
- 8:54Speaker 1: listened to, and that was like Helen, Helena, I mean.
- 9:02Speaker 2: Same, but like that's not it's honestly nine eleven's fault
- 9:05Speaker 2: that Twilight exists. Same with fifty Sheets of.
- 9:08Speaker 1: Gray, that that post nine to eleven, Like are you
- 9:16Speaker 1: talking about like that post nine eleven? Like scared, Like
- 9:20Speaker 1: what do you mean?
- 9:21Speaker 2: So, Barrol b Yon, We're gonna get right into the
- 9:23Speaker 2: episode soon, but I have to explain the timeline here.
- 9:26Speaker 2: So nine eleven happens because nine to eleven happens. My
- 9:30Speaker 2: chemical Romance was formed, because my Chemical Romance was formed.
- 9:35Speaker 2: Sephanie Meyer wrote Twilight because of my chemic romance, and
- 9:40Speaker 2: then Fifty Shades of Gray was originally a fan fiction
- 9:43Speaker 2: with Edward and Bella, and the author decided to repurpose
- 9:46Speaker 2: the characters, repurposed the book and made its own thing,
- 9:48Speaker 2: which ended up being Fifty Shades of Gray. I was behooved.
- 9:56Speaker 1: I was like, oh that is that? That is that
- 10:01Speaker 1: like conspiracy theorists like train of thought, bullshit?
- 10:07Speaker 2: I mean, that's not definitely mine wrote the Twilight books
- 10:10Speaker 2: because of my come Corma. She always she can learn that.
- 10:13Speaker 2: And then fifty Sades of Gray was originally a f
- 10:15Speaker 2: a Twilight fan fection.
- 10:17Speaker 1: I know that, I know that. It's just like the
- 10:18Speaker 1: way I'll play out when you hear it spoken out loud.
- 10:23Speaker 1: It's just like that.
- 10:25Speaker 2: That's crazy.
- 10:26Speaker 1: If you ever listen to a hardcore like conspiracy theorists talk,
- 10:34Speaker 1: there's that conspiracy theories. How I love them and hate them.
- 10:41Speaker 1: Some of them are fun, some of them are like
- 10:43Speaker 1: try try getting a conspiracy theorists on the call, like
- 10:49Speaker 1: on a call, like when they call it for customer
- 10:52Speaker 1: support and you're just like, we're calling customer support, how
- 10:55Speaker 1: can I help you? And they're all like they're all
- 10:57Speaker 1: like Elon Musk is trying to steal my social security
- 11:04Speaker 1: me literally, me literally, that was an actual call.
- 11:09Speaker 2: I know. I had the same one. I told you, Yeah, no,
- 11:13Speaker 2: I have the same money. Probably not the same lady,
- 11:16Speaker 2: But I had something I was telling you that I got.
- 11:18Speaker 2: I got a bunch of I got. I got a
- 11:20Speaker 2: call or two about the whole situation I happened in
- 11:22Speaker 2: Washington and people worrying about the soul sturity number. And
- 11:25Speaker 2: then you told me, you got somebody, and I'm like,
- 11:27Speaker 2: oh wow, okay, cool, it's not just one person unless
- 11:28Speaker 2: I got the same lady, But your case number one,
- 11:31Speaker 2: aren't cut that part out, cut all this part out
- 11:34Speaker 2: about the butt work anyway if you look, go on. Sorry,
- 11:41Speaker 2: I was gonna say, yeah, I know.
- 11:42Speaker 1: I was like, I was confused because I was like,
- 11:44Speaker 1: what about Elon Musk? And she's like, oh, come on,
- 11:47Speaker 1: you know what's going on about Elon Musk? This isn't news,
- 11:49Speaker 1: And I'm like, I wanted to tell her, like, lady,
- 11:52Speaker 1: I don't watch the news. I don't pay attention to
- 11:54Speaker 1: all that bullshit because you don't want to know why
- 11:57Speaker 1: they don't pay my bills? All right, It pay my
- 12:00Speaker 1: fucking bills all right after work. I don't have time
- 12:06Speaker 1: for that bullshit.
- 12:08Speaker 2: That's why. Just so.
- 12:12Speaker 1: I know about it, I know about it, but I'm
- 12:15Speaker 1: just like, what does that What relevance does it have
- 12:19Speaker 1: to this conversation. I don't it does not. It did like, we.
- 12:24Speaker 2: Can't do anything about the capitol. That's his own, that's
- 12:27Speaker 2: own jurissection. No, we can't do anything about that.
- 12:30Speaker 1: Sorry, Ain, nothing you or I can do about that,
- 12:33Speaker 1: all right, i'mless. You just have to like do reenactment
- 12:36Speaker 1: of January sixth then, but but you know, instead against Trump,
- 12:41Speaker 1: instead of for Trump against Trump, all right, you.
- 12:43Speaker 2: Just never really cut that part out, cut all this
- 12:46Speaker 2: political talk out, except Governor Abbit, Governor habit, he's trash,
- 12:53Speaker 2: roll them out like that meme and throw them off
- 12:55Speaker 2: a cliff like I hate him. I hate our governor
- 13:00Speaker 2: with a fiery passion. You have a guess, just throw
- 13:06Speaker 2: them down hill and make sure there's traffic down there
- 13:10Speaker 2: so we can get hit back a car.
- 13:15Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, you guys do, get both of their stupid
- 13:19Speaker 1: asses out there. But you know, at this point, I'm like, well,
- 13:21Speaker 1: you know what, here's what, here's what happened. Okay, here's
- 13:26Speaker 1: the thing. Y'all voted for him, say, you know what,
- 13:28Speaker 1: You're just gonna have to suffer. No, there's a lot
- 13:30Speaker 1: of there's a lot of like conservatives who are all like, oh,
- 13:34Speaker 1: I regret voting for Trump now because all this ship
- 13:36Speaker 1: stupid shitty's doing or all this bullshit right, And I'm.
- 13:39Speaker 2: Like, see, really, wow, crazy.
- 13:42Speaker 1: Wow, crazy. You know what, you know what, here's for
- 13:47Speaker 1: the next four years of Trump not gonna I'm not
- 13:52Speaker 1: gonna enjoy it that The only part of it I'm
- 13:53Speaker 1: gonna enjoy is the part where you know, I hear
- 13:55Speaker 1: all these people bitching about the fact that, oh I
- 13:57Speaker 1: voted for him, and I hate it. Now.
- 14:00Speaker 2: When you have a Ronald Reagan appointed judge saying what
- 14:04Speaker 2: Trump is doing is fucked up and puts a whole
- 14:07Speaker 2: puts a stop to the whole uh stopping bursts, births,
- 14:11Speaker 2: uh birth citizenship, that's when you know you fucked up.
- 14:14Speaker 2: When someone appointed by Ronald fucking Reagan as a Republican
- 14:19Speaker 2: as you can fucking get said, oh no, bit you crazy,
- 14:24Speaker 2: that's you might. You might have to step back a
- 14:25Speaker 2: little bit, you know what. I had to step back,
- 14:27Speaker 2: and he's like, hmmm, I need to rethink my choices.
- 14:34Speaker 1: You really should, so anyway, I mean anyway housekeeping.

- 16:18Speaker 2: would not would I I wouldn't necessarily take interviews for
- 16:21Speaker 2: your for your Yeah, you have to think maybe I'm
- 16:29Speaker 2: with your Okay, let me phrase that, with your permission,
- 16:32Speaker 2: I would. I wouldn't do it automatically because that's weird,
- 16:35Speaker 2: but with your permission, I would be your cupid. I'm like,
- 16:37Speaker 2: oh my god, let me find pull a couple of
- 16:40Speaker 2: gay guys here interviews.
- 16:44Speaker 1: Uh huh uh huh.
- 16:46Speaker 2: And because my best friend is perfect and he deserves
- 16:49Speaker 2: the best, let me know that. It's look oh my god,

- 17:19Speaker 2: too much. I'll have to kill him.
- 17:22Speaker 1: And no one else can stare at doving in this
- 17:23Speaker 1: tone gay either.
- 17:27Speaker 2: It's very uncomfortable and very judgmental. Anyway, enough in hot air.
- 17:38Speaker 2: My boyfriend's not my boyfriends. Oh my god, my best friend,
- 17:45Speaker 2: best friend, m best friend I had to love of
- 17:49Speaker 2: my life over there, best friend? What do you? What
- 17:55Speaker 2: are you looking at me like that?
- 17:57Speaker 1: For? I'm just being jokes, I'm just being judgie. Wow wow.
- 18:03Speaker 2: Because the two people I care about most, I get
- 18:05Speaker 2: mixed up. Okay, Okay.
- 18:09Speaker 1: It's like my mom calling me my uncle's name. She'll
- 18:12Speaker 1: call me my one of my uncle's names. She'll be like, hey, hey, Danny,
- 18:15Speaker 1: I mean Jacob, And she'll do the same with my brother.
- 18:18Speaker 1: She'll just be like, hey, Peter, I mean Lucas. Oh
- 18:21Speaker 1: she goes because like to her, we look like we
- 18:26Speaker 1: remind her of her brothers. Like I'm like, ew, that's
- 18:36Speaker 1: almost as bad as somebody as these old as these
- 18:39Speaker 1: old bats I work with, forgetting them, like miss hearing
- 18:42Speaker 1: my name all the time and thinking my name is
- 18:43Speaker 1: Jason when my name is Jacob. Like, where do you
- 18:47Speaker 1: get Jason from Jacob? Where I clearly said Jacob.
- 18:53Speaker 2: Yeah, I feel.
- 18:54Speaker 1: That rude.
- 19:00Speaker 2: Mm hmm.
- 19:01Speaker 1: And it's a bad feet of mine because I had
- 19:03Speaker 1: a boss who I worked with for about a year,
- 19:05Speaker 1: and the entire year she was constantly forgetting my name
- 19:08Speaker 1: calling me Jason. So now any anytime everyone calls me Jason,
- 19:12Speaker 1: I'm like, who are you calling Jason?
- 19:14Speaker 2: Now, ladies and gentlemen introducing Jason?
- 19:19Speaker 1: Bitch?
- 19:21Speaker 2: I would I'm sorry, I won't.
- 19:23Speaker 1: I wacked blacklisted?
- 19:26Speaker 2: Oh blacklist? He can't blacklist me. I know where you live.
- 19:30Speaker 1: I know where you live too.
- 19:32Speaker 2: Okay, I'm scared about it. You'd better be shure I'm
- 19:43Speaker 2: crazy anyway, But yeah, him looking about Rogers, we already
- 19:47Speaker 2: done all that blah blah blah blah. You know, so
- 19:55Speaker 2: what were we talking about today? What are we talking about? Wow?
- 20:02Speaker 2: The one brain sell missed the gay and anyway, you know,
- 20:10Speaker 2: let me tell you that brain cell is doing overtime
- 20:12Speaker 2: up and Jacob's head it's doing over time. It's struggling. Struggling.
- 20:21Speaker 2: Mm hmm, I love you, hm m mmm hmm. Yeah.
- 20:27Speaker 1: YouTube. Hey, we are continuing the book series that we've
- 20:32Speaker 1: been reading from that we've been reviewing for the past
- 20:34Speaker 1: few weeks. Uh so this week we are gonna be
- 20:38Speaker 1: reading the reviewing the fourth installment of the Mortal Instruments series.
- 20:44Speaker 1: There's six books, people, there's two more left after this,
- 20:47Speaker 1: There's two more. And I say that, like, oh, I'm
- 20:51Speaker 1: like already, I'm already tired of of these. Like no,
- 20:56Speaker 1: I'm not the low key yeah, because I've read these
- 20:59Speaker 1: I've read these books old times, and I love them.
- 21:01Speaker 1: But I'm like over.
- 21:05Speaker 2: I read these books.
- 21:06Speaker 1: I read these books like over and over again, like
- 21:08Speaker 1: a long time ago. Now it's just like I'm more
- 21:13Speaker 1: like into more mature books, and like as I'm reread,
- 21:17Speaker 1: like revisiting these stories, I'm realizing, like god, this is
- 21:21Speaker 1: just a fucking like teen drama right here. It is
- 21:28Speaker 1: a young adult, it is young adults, it's it's fourteen enough.
- 21:34Speaker 1: So the fourth book in the Mortal Instruments is called
- 21:37Speaker 1: City of Fallen Angels. So this one was just I
- 21:41Speaker 1: will say this book was not really my favorite, not
- 21:44Speaker 1: because it was bad. It was just more like not
- 21:46Speaker 1: much happened really like I thought, like I personally thought
- 21:53Speaker 1: like it was going to end in the City of Glass.
- 21:55Speaker 1: But then like, oh wait, there's a fourth book and
- 21:57Speaker 1: this called City of Fallen Angels. Okay, so what's the
- 22:01Speaker 1: what a were they doing like leading up to a
- 22:03Speaker 1: new bad guy or something? What's going on? What's happening? Right?
- 22:08Speaker 1: So by the end of this book, we will learn
- 22:09Speaker 1: that it's not really leading up into a new big
- 22:12Speaker 1: bad evil guy, but rather the return of an old
- 22:15Speaker 1: big bad evil guy who's also technically who's technically going
- 22:20Speaker 1: to be the new big bad evil guy, I mean.
- 22:23Speaker 2: Bad, big bad evil woman. Woman.
- 22:29Speaker 1: No, she's just she's just the appetizer, she's just the
- 22:39Speaker 1: she's just the amused boosh. So those the graphic novels
- 22:43Speaker 1: that you read them, that you read.
- 22:47Speaker 2: For the fourth book, the four, five, and six, I
- 22:51Speaker 2: have not so.
- 22:52Speaker 1: Yeah, but the character that he's talking about, Yeah, she's
- 22:55Speaker 1: going to be the main, the main antagonist for this book,
- 22:59Speaker 1: but it's to be reintroducing an antagonist that's going to
- 23:02Speaker 1: basically carry the rest of the series, gonna carry through
- 23:06Speaker 1: for the for the next two books. So yeah, So
- 23:11Speaker 1: I was like, when I start reading this book, I
- 23:13Speaker 1: was left with questions, like, so, who's gonna be the
- 23:14Speaker 1: big bad evil guy?
- 23:16Speaker 2: All right?
- 23:16Speaker 1: I mean, Valentine's dead, Brazil, what's gonna be able to
- 23:20Speaker 1: call up Brazil again? Like? Hello, we deal with more demons?
- 23:27Speaker 1: Is there gonna be like is there another big bad
- 23:29Speaker 1: evil guy that was kind of sitting in the background
- 23:31Speaker 1: that we didn't know about what's going on? You're what.
- 23:37Speaker 2: Else is there?
- 23:40Speaker 1: So this book starts off like any teen drama, a
- 23:43Speaker 1: bunch of teens being teens. Mm hmm, all right, Simon.
- 23:49Speaker 2: Uh So.
- 23:51Speaker 1: A lot of this book is gonna be focused on
- 23:53Speaker 1: not just Clary and Jason, the Mary gang of goofy
- 23:58Speaker 1: goobers that we call shadow Hunters. It's also going to
- 24:01Speaker 1: be focusing on her best friend and daywalking vampire, Simon.
- 24:07Speaker 1: So Simon is basically going to be is going to
- 24:10Speaker 1: be juggling multiple different relationships, he's going to be struggling.
- 24:17Speaker 1: He's struggling with his own home life. For the most part,
- 24:20Speaker 1: he was still living with his family. He's sixteen years old,
- 24:23Speaker 1: so he still lives with his mother. And the thing
- 24:27Speaker 1: is is that he ends up having a moment where
- 24:29Speaker 1: he comes out to his mother, and not in the gayway.
- 24:35Speaker 2: I'm pretty sure.
- 24:36Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure he wished he could come out as
- 24:38Speaker 1: skated to his mom, but no, he had to come
- 24:39Speaker 1: out as a vampire to his mother. And the thing
- 24:41Speaker 1: is is that when his mother realized that he was
- 24:44Speaker 1: a legitimate vampire, because she started to like notice some discrepancies,
- 24:48Speaker 1: like at first he wouldn't go out in the daytime,
- 24:50Speaker 1: but then now he's back to like his daytime routine.
- 24:53Speaker 1: And but thing is, she starts noticing some things are different,
- 24:56Speaker 1: like he doesn't eat, he's often out, he's never he's
- 25:00Speaker 1: never where he says he's gonna be right, and he's
- 25:03Speaker 1: clearly hiding shit from her. And eventually his mom confronts
- 25:07Speaker 1: him because she discovers that he had been hiding packets
- 25:10Speaker 1: of blood donated blood that he had been using to
- 25:13Speaker 1: say she ate his vampiric appetites and well he was
- 25:18Speaker 1: forced to come out as a vampire. And at first
- 25:20Speaker 1: she was like like, a is this like a face
- 25:27Speaker 1: like are you hanging? Are you like being out at
- 25:29Speaker 1: Spencer's or hot topic a lot, like.
- 25:33Speaker 2: Are you a goth?
- 25:36Speaker 1: Is that what they call goths now? Like, well, no,
- 25:39Speaker 1: not meal, but they're not They're not Mexican like that.
- 25:41Speaker 1: But like he shows her and convinces her that he
- 25:47Speaker 1: is a vampire. And the thing is is that she
- 25:49Speaker 1: freaks out because she is so his family is Jewish
- 25:54Speaker 1: and she is devout more devout Jewish, So when she
- 25:58Speaker 1: realizes like he's a vampire, she kicks him out, and
- 26:01Speaker 1: when he tries to come back, he had basically like
- 26:05Speaker 1: put religious symbols all over their door and pretty much
- 26:10Speaker 1: in every like entryway into their home, so like he
- 26:13Speaker 1: can no longer get into his house because like for him,
- 26:17Speaker 1: he's not affected by like Christian symbology, but since he
- 26:21Speaker 1: is uh, since he is Jewish, that translated into his
- 26:26Speaker 1: vampiric life. So Christian Christian symbology does not affect him
- 26:35Speaker 1: like it what other vampires, but Jewish symbology does, like
- 26:38Speaker 1: the Star of David like the like prayers from the Torah,
- 26:43Speaker 1: things like that, like it was really the star of
- 26:45Speaker 1: David that would affect him. So he can't he can't count,
- 26:49Speaker 1: he can't go home anymore. So now he's he was
- 26:52Speaker 1: he's on the street. He was struggling. Clary helps him
- 26:56Speaker 1: out and they managed to find him. He manages to
- 26:59Speaker 1: find a new play used to live and he ends
- 27:01Speaker 1: up moving within with a new roommate, a guy named Kyle,
- 27:05Speaker 1: who he later learned is a werewolf. So the reason
- 27:09Speaker 1: and the thing is that because Simon and his friends
- 27:12Speaker 1: do learn that, do you figure out that Kyle was
- 27:20Speaker 1: basically sensed by an organization that helps newborn like young
- 27:27Speaker 1: and newborn downholders, so mainly wear wolves and vampires because
- 27:31Speaker 1: they're the only because out of all the downworlder race,
- 27:34Speaker 1: they're the only ones that were once humans. So his
- 27:39Speaker 1: organization was dedicated to tracking down these young vampires and werewolves,
- 27:45Speaker 1: taking them in their wing, under their wing, and just
- 27:48Speaker 1: helping the maccimate to the downworlder life so that way
- 27:51Speaker 1: one they're not they become less of a danger to
- 27:54Speaker 1: themselves and to other people, and helps them to control
- 27:58Speaker 1: their appetites and their new ability their new found abilities,
- 28:02Speaker 1: so like with werewolves, they try to like help them
- 28:05Speaker 1: get They help them acclimate to being were wolf, to
- 28:08Speaker 1: the werewolf life, and eventually either brain them to become
- 28:13Speaker 1: part like to become part of their own organization, or
- 28:16Speaker 1: help them find a pack to become a part of.
- 28:18Speaker 1: And vampires more or less the same, except like they
- 28:22Speaker 1: helped the vampires control their appetite until they are old,
- 28:25Speaker 1: until they are responsible not to strike out on their own,
- 28:28Speaker 1: and maybe even find at another nest of vampires to
- 28:31Speaker 1: shack up with. The thing is, though, Kyle, as it
- 28:34Speaker 1: turns out, what his real name is Jordan, and Jordan
- 28:38Speaker 1: was the very were wolf that turns another werewolf named Maya. Now,
- 28:42Speaker 1: the thing is, Simon is kind of like juggling relationships
- 28:46Speaker 1: here because him and Isabelle, like they had they shared
- 28:50Speaker 1: a moment in Adris, but it was just more of
- 28:53Speaker 1: like we're gonna die kind of thing, so nothing really
- 28:58Speaker 1: happens there. He's still friends with Isabelle and the shadow Hunters,
- 29:03Speaker 1: but he starts pursuing a more friendly and yeah, even
- 29:06Speaker 1: a more romantic relationship with Maya. But the thing is
- 29:10Speaker 1: is that when Maya finds out that he's living with Kyle.
- 29:14Speaker 1: She reveals that that's Luke and Jordan, the guy who
- 29:18Speaker 1: who brutally who attacked me and turned me into a
- 29:21Speaker 1: wear wolf, and she proceeds to attack Kyle, causing all
- 29:26Speaker 1: kinds of drama. Mm hmm, and I think, yeah, the
- 29:31Speaker 1: thing is, the story kind of centers around Sion more Simon,
- 29:36Speaker 1: not only because it kind of it centers around Simon
- 29:40Speaker 1: a lot in this book, because the thing is is
- 29:43Speaker 1: that the big bad evil guy of this book has
- 29:46Speaker 1: interest in Simon because Simon is a daylighter for a
- 29:50Speaker 1: vampire who is able to walk in the daylight, and
- 29:54Speaker 1: he is an initial. He's actually approached not by the
- 29:57Speaker 1: big bad evil guy, but somebody who who's working who
- 30:00Speaker 1: was working for the big bat evil guy or woman.
- 30:03Speaker 1: And this person that approaches him is a vampire, a
- 30:06Speaker 1: very old vampire by the name of Camille, which honestly,
- 30:10Speaker 1: I'm like, is it Camille or Camila Parmela.
- 30:16Speaker 2: It's I I was thinking it was Carmela.
- 30:20Speaker 1: Yeah, Carmela, Carmela.
- 30:21Speaker 2: Yeah, Yeah, that was a reference. Yeah, that's is it?
- 30:25Speaker 1: Yeah, That's what I meant, like, Yeah, but her name
- 30:28Speaker 1: is Camille, Like the vampire's name is Camille. Mh like
- 30:32Speaker 1: Camille or yeah, it hints that the vampires like the
- 30:38Speaker 1: vampires like they originally uh, they were created by a
- 30:43Speaker 1: greater demon when a bunch of like cultists managed to
- 30:48Speaker 1: summon a demon, a greater demon, and he was like,
- 30:51Speaker 1: oh yeah, like, well you know what, I'm a prence.
- 30:53Speaker 1: You were able to summon me, so here immortal life.
- 30:56Speaker 1: I'll give you a mortal life, but you're gonna be
- 30:57Speaker 1: vampires now.
- 30:59Speaker 2: Yeah, that's about right right.
- 31:01Speaker 1: Vampires are like I think that happens sometime either like
- 31:04Speaker 1: in the Dark Ages or in the medieval times, so
- 31:07Speaker 1: vampires has not been around for that have not been
- 31:10Speaker 1: around for that long. I think shadow answers are older
- 31:13Speaker 1: than vampires. But still Camille is one of the oldest
- 31:19Speaker 1: vampires in the world and she approaches some with a
- 31:23Speaker 1: proposition to like join her mm hmm. She wants to
- 31:28Speaker 1: do its shady. She wants him to join her because
- 31:31Speaker 1: she used to be the head of the Manhattan Vampire clan.
- 31:35Speaker 1: But she was outed. She was out at I forgot
- 31:39Speaker 1: exactly why she was outed. It had something to do
- 31:41Speaker 1: with like she was making deals with demons, like she
- 31:46Speaker 1: was doing some shade and ship.
- 31:48Speaker 2: She she made a fake excuse saying that it was
- 31:52Speaker 2: what's his face's fault?
- 31:55Speaker 1: Rafaele.
- 31:55Speaker 2: Yeah, Raphael kind of kicked her out, and she's like,
- 31:58Speaker 2: I'm the vic she was playing the victim, basically, I'm
- 32:01Speaker 2: vidim when Raphael of course was the one who kicked
- 32:05Speaker 2: her out because because she decided to well you'll find out, yep.
- 32:11Speaker 1: And so he wants he wants him to help her,
- 32:15Speaker 1: but he but he actually does refuse. He doesn't want
- 32:21Speaker 1: anything to do with her. And the thing is, though
- 32:24Speaker 1: Simon has become the target of several assassination attempts, the
- 32:28Speaker 1: thing is they don't work because Simon still has on
- 32:31Speaker 1: his forehead the mark of Kane. Now he's able to
- 32:35Speaker 1: hide the mark of Kine with his bangs. But the
- 32:38Speaker 1: thing is, when people attack him, anytime anyone tries to
- 32:41Speaker 1: kill him, the mark of kin reflects what they're going
- 32:43Speaker 1: to do to him back onto them sevenfold. So one
- 32:47Speaker 1: dude attacked him with a knife and just before the
- 32:49Speaker 1: knife even like punctured his skin, he just burst into
- 32:54Speaker 1: like dust, Yeah, dust like not flames. No, he just
- 33:00Speaker 1: goes poof.
- 33:01Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm like that's cool, that makes sense.
- 33:05Speaker 1: And it's a play on the it's a biblical play
- 33:07Speaker 1: because like the whole Solomon Gomora thing where God turned
- 33:10Speaker 1: everyone in the city into salt, turn the whole city
- 33:13Speaker 1: to salt. Yeah, so that's basically what happens, is like, Oh,
- 33:18Speaker 1: they get turned, you try to kill Simon, you get here,
- 33:20Speaker 1: your salt. Now you're a pillar of salt now.
- 33:23Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 33:24Speaker 1: And the thing is is that Simon becomes increasingly like
- 33:31Speaker 1: the thing is the New York Vampires. Raphael especially does
- 33:35Speaker 1: not want him because they see him as a domination,
- 33:39Speaker 1: a threat, and he can't really stay with the shadow
- 33:43Speaker 1: Hunters because he's a vampire. He won't be able to
- 33:46Speaker 1: really live in the institute. Jam Hunters don't really allow it.
- 33:50Speaker 1: Even though he's friends with the kids, the adults don't
- 33:53Speaker 1: are still pretty bigoted and not exactly open or accepting this.
- 34:01Speaker 1: So for the most part, for the most part, Simon
- 34:07Speaker 1: is not really he's gonna be doing his own thing.
- 34:09Speaker 1: He does his own thing. He does have his moments
- 34:11Speaker 1: where he's with the others and they're they're gonna do
- 34:15Speaker 1: what they can to help him, but he's on his own. Uh.
- 34:22Speaker 1: Later on, like towards the end of the book, Simon
- 34:26Speaker 1: does it does attempt a engagement party because Jocelyn and
- 34:32Speaker 1: Luke have announced their engagement and they have a big
- 34:35Speaker 1: old engagement party, big thing. He goes there, but he's
- 34:38Speaker 1: eventually lured away by this girl because sometime in this
- 34:42Speaker 1: book he actually and he he lost control of his
- 34:46Speaker 1: appetite and attacked a young girl on the street. The
- 34:50Speaker 1: thing is, this traumatized her. And while uh, and that's
- 34:55Speaker 1: the reason why the organization that Jordan worked for got
- 35:00Speaker 1: kind of caught off to Simon because while he did this,
- 35:04Speaker 1: and well, like, we're gonna need to keep an eye
- 35:07Speaker 1: on him, but we don't, you know, he's he's still young.
- 35:10Speaker 1: Doesn't necessarily mean that he should be put down for
- 35:12Speaker 1: attacking attacking a a mundane still needs someone needs to
- 35:18Speaker 1: keep an eye on him. So the thing is is
- 35:23Speaker 1: this girl is later was later picked up by Camille,
- 35:28Speaker 1: and she turns this girl into a vampire.
- 35:34Speaker 2: M she sure does M and the and she.
- 35:42Speaker 1: The thing is she threatened. She basically lures him away
- 35:45Speaker 1: and takes him to an abandoned building, and it's in
- 35:51Speaker 1: this building that he has his first encounter with the
- 35:54Speaker 1: big bad evil guy. The big bad evil guy, as
- 35:57Speaker 1: it turns out is none other than the greater Demon,
- 36:00Speaker 1: in fact, the first demon queen, legend y Queen of
- 36:06Speaker 1: Hell or I should say, they mostly refer like connect
- 36:11Speaker 1: her with Eatom so like queen of Eatom m so
- 36:14Speaker 1: and the mother of demons, queen.
- 36:16Speaker 2: Of eat them. Oh my god, Oh my god, Eden,
- 36:19Speaker 2: Oh my god.
- 36:19Speaker 1: Yeah, no, eat them, not Eden, eat them separate place.
- 36:26Speaker 1: She's place, yeah, eat them et Ohn, eat them fuck
- 36:32Speaker 1: is atom well in the store and later on in
- 36:36Speaker 1: the Mortal Instrument story, like eat them it is. It
- 36:39Speaker 1: is an actual place, but it's actually like a different
- 36:43Speaker 1: dimension or demons. Like basically it's like a demon dimension
- 36:47Speaker 1: and it's called eat them kind of like danna Ah.
- 36:52Speaker 2: I thought the name Eadom was a reference to the
- 36:54Speaker 2: Garden of Eden.
- 36:55Speaker 1: No, it's like eat them like so when she was
- 36:59Speaker 1: banished from the Garden of Eden like kind of like
- 37:03Speaker 1: she like basically cursed God, swore vengeance like or at
- 37:07Speaker 1: like eternal you know, mortal and like blood feud against
- 37:12Speaker 1: God and so. And because the thing is like God
- 37:16Speaker 1: cursed her m and basically made it's where she can
- 37:20Speaker 1: no longer she cannot have children of her own, so
- 37:24Speaker 1: cursed her with like cursed her to be barren for
- 37:27Speaker 1: all eternity, and like she wanted to spite God, so
- 37:31Speaker 1: she started giving giving birth to children of her own.
- 37:36Speaker 1: But these children were demons, and the way she gave
- 37:38Speaker 1: birth to them was by she cut her She cut
- 37:41Speaker 1: her palm and flicked her blood over the plains of Edom,
- 37:45Speaker 1: and from her blood the demons sprung forth. So like
- 37:49Speaker 1: the lesser demons came forth. So she's the one that
- 37:51Speaker 1: gave birth to like the pretty much the everyday demons
- 37:54Speaker 1: we see, even the tracane demon that demons that like
- 37:58Speaker 1: the dragon demons that were born on our plane. Because
- 38:01Speaker 1: the thing is the reason why you don't see dragons
- 38:04Speaker 1: in the mortal instruments is because they're all extinct and
- 38:08Speaker 1: they were demons. But thing is they were demons that
- 38:11Speaker 1: were birthed in our planet existence. Demons that typically show
- 38:16Speaker 1: up now come from other planes of existence, like eat Them,
- 38:19Speaker 1: Gehenna and all the other demonic realms. And when you
- 38:24Speaker 1: kill these demons, you're not actually killing their physical form.
- 38:27Speaker 1: You're just killing a projection of them, so like they're
- 38:31Speaker 1: projecting their spirits into our world. And while they do
- 38:34Speaker 1: appear as like something like semi physical, when you kill
- 38:38Speaker 1: them like, you can only kill them with like blessed
- 38:41Speaker 1: artifacts or certain materials like atamus electrom or weapons that
- 38:45Speaker 1: have rooms carved into them. That's the only way you
- 38:50Speaker 1: can kill them. When you kill them, their bodies just disappear.
- 38:53Speaker 1: But that's because it's just a projection of their spirit.
- 38:57Speaker 1: It's just a projection of their body's and when you
- 39:00Speaker 1: kill them, it sends them back to the dimension that
- 39:03Speaker 1: came from. So literally nobody has killed a demon ever.
- 39:08Speaker 1: So it's like that sucks because they're basically responding back
- 39:11Speaker 1: in their home dimension and they'll eventually come back eventually, Yeah, eventually,
- 39:18Speaker 1: So it sucks, but yes, so reveals that it's revealed
- 39:23Speaker 1: that Lilith is the big batt evil guy during the
- 39:28Speaker 1: during the war and Idris. Whence, when Jonathan summons all
- 39:35Speaker 1: those demons to attack. When Jonathan and Valentine some of
- 39:38Speaker 1: those demons to attack Alicante, Lilith saw an opportunity and
- 39:45Speaker 1: came through with all the with the demon hordes, but
- 39:47Speaker 1: she didn't really take part in the fight. The thing
- 39:50Speaker 1: is is that when she came through, she came through
- 39:55Speaker 1: because she wanted to observe Jonathan, because she's she has
- 40:00Speaker 1: this sort of like motherly attachment to Jonathan. She sees
- 40:06Speaker 1: Jonathan as her true son. Now she may not have
- 40:09Speaker 1: given birth to him, he does have her blood. Because
- 40:14Speaker 1: the thing is is, when Valentine was experimenting with demon blood,
- 40:19Speaker 1: he was experiment the demon he got the blood from
- 40:22Speaker 1: was Lilith herself, and she did it willingly. He summoned her,
- 40:26Speaker 1: told her what he was planning on doing, and she
- 40:28Speaker 1: was all for it. She was like, really a child
- 40:32Speaker 1: a lot, bet here's my blood and this child will
- 40:37Speaker 1: basically be my child, right because for Lilis, she at
- 40:42Speaker 1: least the Lilith. This is not saying like at the
- 40:45Speaker 1: lolith of actual like Christian Juday mythology. This is like
- 40:50Speaker 1: uh Cassandra Claire's interpretation of Lilith. She has a very
- 40:55Speaker 1: like strong maternal instincts, like she she's always wanted to
- 41:00Speaker 1: have children of her own, but because of what God
- 41:03Speaker 1: cursed her. Because God cursed her after being after she
- 41:06Speaker 1: was expelled from Eden, she can never have children of
- 41:10Speaker 1: her own. She has children, but they were not like
- 41:13Speaker 1: her true born children. They're the demons that she birth
- 41:17Speaker 1: from her blood. And the thing is Jonathan is like
- 41:20Speaker 1: basically she's her child. But if she had, like had
- 41:26Speaker 1: a surrogate carry or child for her, like a child
- 41:31Speaker 1: through surrogacy, think of it that way.
- 41:35Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 41:36Speaker 1: So, And the thing is is after the Battle of
- 41:38Speaker 1: Alcanse and after Jason had killed Jonathan, she actually managed
- 41:43Speaker 1: to rescue Jonathan's body and preserved it. Now, the thing
- 41:47Speaker 1: is is that Lillith has has she has a strong
- 41:51Speaker 1: belief in what is called the Old laws, where basically
- 41:54Speaker 1: it's like a law of balance, where something goes occurs
- 41:57Speaker 1: for some for like the good sef something needs to
- 42:02Speaker 1: happen on the for the bad side in order for
- 42:05Speaker 1: there to be a balance. The thing is is that
- 42:08Speaker 1: Jace was resurrected by Razil. So because Jace is as
- 42:16Speaker 1: a as a emissary of the of the good the Light,
- 42:20Speaker 1: things like that his rea, his reading, his resurrection basically
- 42:27Speaker 1: tip the scales in the Light's favor. And well, the
- 42:31Speaker 1: thing is that scales need to be balanced properly, so
- 42:34Speaker 1: that means somebody of the dark the bad needs to
- 42:39Speaker 1: be resurrected as well in order for there to be
- 42:41Speaker 1: proper balanced. Then she wants to use this opportunity to
- 42:45Speaker 1: resurrect Jonathan. To resurrect Jonathan so what she wanted Simon
- 42:51Speaker 1: to do. She wanted Simon to basically drain Jonathan of
- 42:57Speaker 1: his blood and give him and give Jonathan his Simon
- 43:03Speaker 1: give Jonathan his blood to resurrect him, because this would
- 43:06Speaker 1: have been this would be a perfect opportunity for Jonathan
- 43:08Speaker 1: to come back to life, all right, scales need to
- 43:11Speaker 1: be balanced, and that's what she wants him to do.
- 43:14Speaker 1: And this is where Jace and Clary come into the story.
- 43:17Speaker 1: So kind of taking a step back, Jason Clay are
- 43:21Speaker 1: now officially a couple. They're no longer under the belief
- 43:26Speaker 1: that they are siblings. Thank god. That was painful. Thing
- 43:30Speaker 1: about the story is that that was just painful to watch.
- 43:33Speaker 1: But yeah, and it's still gonna be painful because these
- 43:38Speaker 1: two won't be able to be like actually have the
- 43:41Speaker 1: chance to spend somemon him as a real couple because
- 43:43Speaker 1: the next couple of books they're going to be like
- 43:44Speaker 1: constantly pushed apart and trying to fight to get back
- 43:48Speaker 1: to each other. And this is where it starts. So Clary,
- 43:52Speaker 1: she's gone back to somewhat she she's gone back to
- 43:57Speaker 1: some sense of normalcy. She does go back to school
- 44:01Speaker 1: mainly because she doesn't feel like it's right for her
- 44:03Speaker 1: to go back to school now that she knows she's
- 44:05Speaker 1: a shadow Hunter, and she would rather continue her education
- 44:09Speaker 1: as a shadow Hunter instead. Now, Jocelyn isn't exactly happy
- 44:14Speaker 1: about that, because Jocelyn still wants to stay like even
- 44:18Speaker 1: though everything is basically over with Valentine's dead and Jocelyn
- 44:23Speaker 1: herself is no longer considered a wanted criminal or anything
- 44:27Speaker 1: like that, they still she still wants to stay away
- 44:33Speaker 1: from the shadow Hunters right she and she and Luke
- 44:37Speaker 1: are now going to get married. They're going to have
- 44:39Speaker 1: their own normal life, and she wants Clary to have
- 44:41Speaker 1: a normal life too, but it's not going to happen
- 44:44Speaker 1: now that Clarie is as involved as she is with
- 44:47Speaker 1: the shadow Hunters. But Jocelyn, knowing that she can't really
- 44:52Speaker 1: convince her daughter to pursue a normal life, agrees, but
- 44:58Speaker 1: it still insists that Clarie with her and Luke, so
- 45:01Speaker 1: they both move in. They both move in with Luke
- 45:04Speaker 1: and they're living their life. Clari and Jace are enjoying
- 45:09Speaker 1: their relationship with each other. But the thing of the
- 45:11Speaker 1: thing about Jace is that Jace has begun having strange
- 45:17Speaker 1: nightmares all right. For some reason, ever since the ever
- 45:26Speaker 1: since he was resurrected, he's been having these weird nightmares
- 45:30Speaker 1: and and and the thing about these nightmares is that
- 45:33Speaker 1: every time the nightmares are always about him and Clary,
- 45:36Speaker 1: and they're having like passionate moments, and at the height
- 45:39Speaker 1: of these of these passionate moments, kills them in the dreams.
- 45:43Speaker 2: Yeah sure, yeah, sang yeah.
- 45:49Speaker 1: Now he doesn't tell her about these dreams, but he
- 45:53Speaker 1: but there it's starting to show. He doesn't eat, he
- 45:56Speaker 1: doesn't sleep. Clariree is starting to worry about him, you know.
- 46:03Speaker 1: Then they learned that there have been several murders. Three
- 46:06Speaker 1: shadow Hunters have been killed, and Clarie uh in a
- 46:10Speaker 1: way to destry keep her and Jason occupied, offers to
- 46:13Speaker 1: help the investigation. Louke is called in to help identify
- 46:19Speaker 1: the bodies of the shadow Hunters and Clarie. Thinking about
- 46:24Speaker 1: Clarie is that in this book she got a little
- 46:26Speaker 1: too arrogant, because now that she understands her ability to
- 46:31Speaker 1: create new rooms better, she's more open about using it now.
- 46:36Speaker 1: And the thing is is that when they when they're
- 46:39Speaker 1: examining the bodies, it suddenly hits her like the image
- 46:43Speaker 1: of a new room hits her and she thinks, well,
- 46:46Speaker 1: maybe we have a way of figuring out who killed
- 46:49Speaker 1: these shadow Hunters by asking the dead shadow Hunters themselves.
- 46:53Speaker 1: And the room that she creates is a hate to
- 46:56Speaker 1: say it, but it is the first necromancy room. What
- 47:00Speaker 1: it does is when she draws it on the dead
- 47:03Speaker 1: shadow hunter, it brings them back to life temporarily. But
- 47:06Speaker 1: the thing is is that it doesn't heal them of
- 47:10Speaker 1: the bodily wounds that they were inflicted with. So these
- 47:13Speaker 1: shadow Hunters, their throats were ripped out. Yeah, all right,
- 47:20Speaker 1: So when she uses it on one of the shadow Hunters,
- 47:22Speaker 1: he comes back to life, but he is in an
- 47:24Speaker 1: excruciating pain because his throat's ripped out. His body is mutilated.
- 47:29Speaker 1: So he's like he comes back to life, but he's
- 47:32Speaker 1: like in so much pain and it's horrifying. But they
- 47:35Speaker 1: do manage to get a name out of him. The
- 47:38Speaker 1: killer is his killer was Camille the vampire. As soon
- 47:42Speaker 1: as they get the name, Luke grabs uh grabs a
- 47:47Speaker 1: bottle of acid and throws it on the room to
- 47:51Speaker 1: destroy it. So the only way the only way to
- 47:53Speaker 1: stop a room from working is to destroy the room
- 47:56Speaker 1: and Unfortunately, this dude would have kept would have kept
- 47:59Speaker 1: on going if the room wasn't destroyed. So Luke warrens
- 48:03Speaker 1: ends up warning Claire that she really needs to be
- 48:06Speaker 1: careful with her gift because that was fucked up, you know,
- 48:13Speaker 1: properly chastised. She understands, but she still wants to figure
- 48:16Speaker 1: out what's going on. The thing is. Jace actually ends
- 48:21Speaker 1: up spending more time with Simon because she because he
- 48:24Speaker 1: does learn about the assassination attempt on Simon and decides
- 48:28Speaker 1: to act as his bodyguard. And then, of course that's
- 48:32Speaker 1: where they get involved with Kyle learning more about the
- 48:37Speaker 1: Wolf Guardians who Kyle works for. Let's see here. Jace
- 48:46Speaker 1: eventually does end up leading a strike team against Camille
- 48:52Speaker 1: and they do arrest her and they kill her too. Familiars.
- 48:55Speaker 1: She has she has a pair of human uh taking
- 49:00Speaker 1: a term from to take a term from like the
- 49:04Speaker 1: Thirty Days of Night series, Uh, Thirty Days of Nights
- 49:08Speaker 1: human followers were called bug eaters because they aspired to
- 49:14Speaker 1: be vampires. The vampires would give them some of their
- 49:17Speaker 1: blood to kind of like boost their vitality, but often
- 49:22Speaker 1: turns them into these like turns these humans into these
- 49:25Speaker 1: like kind of grotesque people that are obsessed with their
- 49:30Speaker 1: vampire masters, and they often end up like the name,
- 49:35Speaker 1: like the name suggests that they eat bugs. Well, these
- 49:39Speaker 1: these bug eaters as I call them, because I like
- 49:43Speaker 1: to call any human throw all of a vampire. Uh,
- 49:47Speaker 1: they're basically she kept them alive for centuries by giving
- 49:51Speaker 1: them some of her blood and keeps them healthy, keeps
- 49:55Speaker 1: them alive, and they go everywhere with her. They do
- 49:58Speaker 1: all they do her bidding. And the thing is, though,
- 50:01Speaker 1: like the shadow Hunters end up executing them, because the
- 50:05Speaker 1: thing is that they've been under her thrall for so
- 50:07Speaker 1: long that they're not technically human anymore. Yeah, So they
- 50:13Speaker 1: take her into custody. They try to interrogate her, but
- 50:16Speaker 1: she doesn't really give them much to go off of. Clary,
- 50:20Speaker 1: on the other hand, she ends up working with her
- 50:23Speaker 1: mom because they also started learning of reports from a
- 50:28Speaker 1: warlock nurse at the local hospital that there have been
- 50:31Speaker 1: a series of deaths that have been reported and they'd
- 50:38Speaker 1: found several babies have been abandoned and these babies had died.
- 50:44Speaker 1: The thing is, though, while normal humans don't just write
- 50:48Speaker 1: it off as like the unfortunate thing, baby was abandoned
- 50:51Speaker 1: and it didn't survive. But since the Warlock is able
- 50:56Speaker 1: to see past the glamours and shit, they do notice.
- 50:59Speaker 1: She notice that there's something off about these babies or
- 51:03Speaker 1: baby in one case, and she describes what she's found
- 51:08Speaker 1: what she found to Jocelyn, and Jocelyn is getting freaked
- 51:12Speaker 1: out because it's reminding her of her son, so Jocelyn. So,
- 51:22Speaker 1: the thing is, when Jocelyn learned about this, she started
- 51:25Speaker 1: making more inquiries to the nurse, to her warlocked friend
- 51:28Speaker 1: about these about the baby, about these dead babies, and
- 51:32Speaker 1: the most recent one had died, had died after a
- 51:38Speaker 1: priest tried to baptize it, not yet baptism. So when
- 51:46Speaker 1: so Clary overheard what her mom was doing and insists
- 51:50Speaker 1: on going with her, so they go back. So they
- 51:54Speaker 1: both go to the hospital to view the baby's body.
- 51:57Speaker 1: And the thing is is that when they see the
- 51:59Speaker 1: baby body, they noticed that its eyes are pitch black
- 52:05Speaker 1: and it has talents for fingers.
- 52:09Speaker 2: That's mm hmm.
- 52:11Speaker 1: The thing is is that this baby does not look
- 52:13Speaker 1: like a Warlock child. It's like, for those of you
- 52:15Speaker 1: who have read this series know how like Warlocks are
- 52:19Speaker 1: half demons half humans, like yeah, Warlocks have these inhuman traits.
- 52:25Speaker 1: It could be anything, right, like from like semi anthropomorphic
- 52:29Speaker 1: features to like different colored skin, wings, feathers, what have you. Like, Well,
- 52:35Speaker 1: couldn't this be like you could be thinking like, couldn't
- 52:38Speaker 1: this be just a warlock child? But no. The thing
- 52:41Speaker 1: is that Jocelyn recognizes that this baby was experimented on,
- 52:48Speaker 1: just like the way her son Jonathan was. Meaning that
- 52:53Speaker 1: while meaning that while they were developing in utero, while
- 52:59Speaker 1: they were still a fetus, they were human. But somebody
- 53:04Speaker 1: what had had exposed their mothers to demon blood so
- 53:09Speaker 1: fed their mother's demon blood and the demon blood affected
- 53:14Speaker 1: the baby much the same way that it affected Jonathan.
- 53:19Speaker 1: Thing is, though, these babies were not successful. So the
- 53:22Speaker 1: thing is that the thing is that these babies were human,
- 53:24Speaker 1: They were not shadow Hunter babies. So somebody is experimenting
- 53:30Speaker 1: on humans with demon blood and they need to figure
- 53:34Speaker 1: out who. Well, we later learned it was Lilith. She
- 53:39Speaker 1: was trying to recreate what what Valentine had created with Jonathan,
- 53:45Speaker 1: but she was missing the she was missing the shadow
- 53:49Speaker 1: Hunter element.
- 53:50Speaker 2: Mm hmmm.
- 53:53Speaker 1: Sol Clary later discovers some some form of evidence that
- 53:57Speaker 1: may have linked the baby that the demon baby from
- 54:03Speaker 1: the hospital to some form of church in the we're
- 54:07Speaker 1: in the city. They go to the church. Uh this
- 54:09Speaker 1: church is called uh, let me see, it's called the
- 54:13Speaker 1: Church of Talto. Okay, so Clary goes there with but
- 54:23Speaker 1: Claric goes there with isabel Well, she heads there first
- 54:26Speaker 1: and isbel meets her later. She gets there, she's starts
- 54:30Speaker 1: poking around in said the church and realizes that this
- 54:32Speaker 1: is actually more. This is a church dedicated to black magic,
- 54:36Speaker 1: and she discovers the rituals used to create the demon babies.
- 54:40Speaker 1: But while she's investigating, she is attacked by a demon
- 54:44Speaker 1: and like, I'm kind of like God killing Clarie. She
- 54:49Speaker 1: she's powerful, but she's pretty useless in the fight. That's
- 54:53Speaker 1: because she doesn't have the years of training like the
- 54:55Speaker 1: other shadow Hunter kids do. But she's getting there. Yeah,
- 54:59Speaker 1: she'll get there. But Isabelle shows up pulls her ass
- 55:02Speaker 1: out of the fire, and now they're left wondering what
- 55:05Speaker 1: like why, Like now they know who, they know more
- 55:09Speaker 1: or less the who, but they don't really know the why.
- 55:12Speaker 2: Yeah, you know.
- 55:15Speaker 1: The thing is Clari. Uh. Clari has to be taken
- 55:18Speaker 1: back to the institute because during the fight, she does
- 55:21Speaker 1: get demon blood does get splattered on her skin, so
- 55:24Speaker 1: she has to get treatment for that. Demon blood is
- 55:28Speaker 1: ascetic and it's poisonous, so can't let it. Can't get
- 55:31Speaker 1: exposed to deemon blood for too long. And the thing
- 55:34Speaker 1: is is that while she's in the in the infirmary,
- 55:36Speaker 1: Jay shows up and you know, he's concerned about her
- 55:39Speaker 1: right and you know, glad that she's okay, he kisses her.
- 55:43Speaker 1: The thing is, though his nightmare comes to life is
- 55:47Speaker 1: while his guard is down and he's making out with
- 55:50Speaker 1: his girlfriend and all that stabs her. Yeah, he tried to,
- 55:57Speaker 1: but he only manages to cut her arm with a knife,
- 56:00Speaker 1: and Jace has to be restrained. And but when he
- 56:04Speaker 1: finally calms down, he admits to Clary that that he's
- 56:07Speaker 1: been having these nightmares and with these exact scenarios where
- 56:11Speaker 1: he's in the moment of passion with Clary and then
- 56:14Speaker 1: out of know where he kills her. So Clary is
- 56:18Speaker 1: just like, okay, we've been keeping what happened with Razil
- 56:23Speaker 1: under wraps. The only because at this point the official
- 56:26Speaker 1: story was that yes, Valentine managed to summon Razil mm hm,
- 56:32Speaker 1: but they stopped him mm hm. And they didn't they left.
- 56:37Speaker 1: They conveniently left out the part where Jace was killed
- 56:39Speaker 1: by Valentine and Razil resurrected him.
- 56:42Speaker 2: Yeah, so now they're now.
- 56:46Speaker 1: Claire is like, all right, we can't we can't keep
- 56:50Speaker 1: this hidden anymore. Something is definitely going on and I
- 56:54Speaker 1: have something to do with the resident with you being
- 56:57Speaker 1: dead for like five minutes, and she tells she convinces
- 57:04Speaker 1: Jace to go to the Silent brother to go to
- 57:07Speaker 1: the City of Bones and talk to the Silent Brothers. Uh,
- 57:13Speaker 1: the brothers. Uh. So they go to the Brothers and they, uh,
- 57:17Speaker 1: they review what Jason has to Oh, Jace, Jase has
- 57:20Speaker 1: to Jason. Jason asked, God, damn it.
- 57:22Speaker 2: Now I'm doing Now, I'm okay.
- 57:28Speaker 1: They go back to they go to the Silent Brothers
- 57:31Speaker 1: and they look through Jason's mind and they confirm like, yep,
- 57:34Speaker 1: you were dead and looks like and yeah, we can
- 57:38Speaker 1: sense that the angel did bring you back to life.
- 57:41Speaker 1: That Here's the thing about shadow hunters is that shadow
- 57:45Speaker 1: Hunters are just like any normal human, except they have
- 57:48Speaker 1: angel blood. They can use ruins, and they're slightly stronger, faster,
- 57:51Speaker 1: and have better reflexes than a normal human.
- 57:54Speaker 2: Yeah, all right.
- 57:55Speaker 1: The thing is, though just like normal humans they are,
- 57:58Speaker 1: they are susceptible to demonic possessions. Now, the way they
- 58:02Speaker 1: get around this is by h is that when a
- 58:06Speaker 1: shadow Hunter child is born, they are baptized by a
- 58:12Speaker 1: conglomerates by they're baptized by two clave officials, a member
- 58:18Speaker 1: from the Silent Brothers, so a Silent Brother and an
- 58:23Speaker 1: Iron Sister. Now we're not going to see any of
- 58:27Speaker 1: the Iron Sisters in this book, but the Iron Sisters
- 58:31Speaker 1: are badass. They are the female equivalent of the Silent Brothers.
- 58:35Speaker 1: Though unlike the Silent Brothers, who are more like the bureaucrats,
- 58:38Speaker 1: the librarians, the more Soberrairians, the healers, the doctors, things
- 58:42Speaker 1: like that, the Iron Sisters are the industrialists of the
- 58:49Speaker 1: shadow Hunter society. So, like the Silent Brothers, they they
- 58:54Speaker 1: take up on themselves very powerful ruins that do cause
- 58:58Speaker 1: some uh like, do cause some strong changes to their bodies.
- 59:04Speaker 1: But the ruins that they take are mainly meant for
- 59:07Speaker 1: molding materials, so the Silent so that keep silent. The
- 59:12Speaker 1: Iron Sisters they're responsible for making all of the weapons
- 59:16Speaker 1: the shadow Hunters use. Mm hmm, So their adamant their
- 59:21Speaker 1: Adamost swords, the electron width bows, arrows, knives. Every conceivable
- 59:27Speaker 1: weapon that they use comes from the comes were made
- 59:30Speaker 1: from the were made by the Iron Sisters. Because the
- 59:33Speaker 1: Iron Sisters, aside from making Adamus weapons and Stella's, they
- 59:38Speaker 1: also were the ones who constructed the Glass Towers and Alicante,
- 59:43Speaker 1: the towers that basically protect not only the city and
- 59:45Speaker 1: the country and their country, but the entire world, because
- 59:48Speaker 1: those have the words that keep demons like the greater
- 59:51Speaker 1: hordes of demon kind exactly. The Iron Sisters are badass,
- 59:56Speaker 1: and typically when a shadow Hunter is born, a shadow
- 59:59Speaker 1: as elent brother and an Iron Sister come together and
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: they perform a ritual over the baby. This ritual or
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: baptism protects them from any kind of They protect them
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: from being influenced by demons in any way, so possession, oppression,
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: things like that. Demons can't affect them, at least not
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: in that way. But when Jace was killed and resurrected,
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: he was technically reborn and he did not have those
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: those protections anymore. So now he needed to go through
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: that ritual again in order in order to protect him
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: from demonic influences. Claria has a moment of like, wait, then,
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: how if that's true? Then have I ever been done that?
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: And she learns later from Joscelyn that she was, but
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: she had done it. She did get that that ritual
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: was performed on Clari when she was born, but Jocelyn
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: had to rely on a warlock instead.
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: So yeah, so for his own safety, Jase has to
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: uh stay and stay with the Silent Brothers and uh
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: in order to he has to he has to stay
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: in the Silent Brothers custodies for his own safety until
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: they can get Yeah, and so they can get like,
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: first of all, they have to arrange it. They have
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: to get us an Iron sister to come by, and
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: they have to get a prep for everything, and then
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: they'll perform the ritual on him again. And the thing is,
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: since he's an adult, a lot more painful and in
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: basic Yeah, so that doesn't happen though, because the thing
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: is is that since he's being influenced. The thing is
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: the demonic entity that has been influencing him is none
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: of the the lah blah la la la. It is
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: none other than Lilith, of course, And the thing is
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: that Lilith ends up possessing him fully and controls him
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: to come to her in this abandoned tower in New York,
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: and that just so happens to be where UH, where
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: Simon is too, And the thing is is that, And
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: another thing is is that Clary was expecting both of
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: them to be at Jocelyn's engagement party. Neither of them
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: show up, so she tracks them down, finds them there.
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: And the thing is when she finally when she finds
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: Simon and Jace, Jase is still under Lili's thrall, and
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: Simon was just in the middle of draining of consuming
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: Jonathan's blood to begin the process of resurrecting him, so
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: she disrupts the Clary manages to disrupt the ritual. And
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: the thing is that when Jace ends up going to UH,
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: when Jace becomes enthralled by Lilith fully, he actually kidnaps
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: Clary and brings her to the tower, and Lilith threatens
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: Simon that if he doesn't, if he doesn't bring Jonathan back,
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: she's going to have Jace kill Clary, and then she's
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: gonna kill Jace and so Simon. So Simon is forced
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: to agree, and he begins to and he begins to
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: drain Jonathan's body of its blood. He notes later that
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: his blood tasted acidic, like battery acid, which is probably
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: what which probably is a reference to the fact that
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: there's demon blood and that Jonathan has demon blood in him. Yeah, Clary,
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: while Lilith is distracted, she turns to Jace and she
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: manages to use her Stella to break to break Lilith's
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: control over Jace. The way Lilith was controlling Jace was
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: she had placed a she managed to place like a
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: strange demonic room on Jess's chest. Now, this room is
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: like kind of like a it's like a it's similar
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: to the angelic rooms, to the to the angel rooms
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: that the shadow Hunters use, but it's like the demean
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: it's the demonic counterpart to those rooms. So that's similar
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: to the way, similar to the way that angel rooms work,
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: these demonic rooms have their own more sinister effects to them,
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: and in this case, it's it allows Lilith to completely
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: possess and control Jace. So what Claire does is she
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: uses her Stala to break the two to disrupt the
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: room on Jason that's been placed on jas breaking Lilith's
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: hold over him and Jason Lilith began to fight, and
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: it's a pretty tough fite. It's pretty tough fight, but
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: Lilith proves to be too cunning and she manages to
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: restrain Clary mm hmm, and she's she uses Claire to
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: try to get both Simon and Jace to surrender because
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: Clary when so when Jos, oh my god, I'm losing
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: my trip, I'm like all over the place today.
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: You're fine, You're fine.
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: So when Jason Lilith start fighting, Clary gets Simon and
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: gets and uh manages to lead him out of there,
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: but she stays back to try to help Jace. The
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: thing is, Jace wanted Clary to leave because you know
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: she she just be in the way. And the thing
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: is she didn't. So Lilith, sensing that Clary was still nearby,
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: grabs Clary and holds her hostage against Jace, and she's like,
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: you're gonna finish the rich We're gonna finish this ritual,
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: or I'm gonna kill her, And she starts using her
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: palate and she starts using like a lash to like
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: attack Clary. Like every time every moment that Jace refuses
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: to surrender, she like slashes at Clary with this like
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: this tendrill like this little whip, and think is Simon
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: stayed like was still nearby too, and he saw what
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: was happening to Clary, so realizing like perfect opportunity, he
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: jumps in front of Clay just as Lilith is lashing
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: out against her, and Lili's little lash strikes Simon across
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: the across the face, like carving like a long slash
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: in his face. And when Lili sees this, she has
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: this moment of fuck op, like like oh fuck because
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: Simon Simon still has the the Mark of Kane on
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: his forehead, and the thing is usually the Mark of
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: Kane usually reacts just as somebody like is about to
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: hurt him. So like like earlier when that dude tried
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: to stab him, just just at the tip of the
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: blade touched Simon, poof poof right. Well, in this case,
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: Lilith was having like in the middle of like a
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: using her whiplash on Clary. The the tip of the
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: whip actually manages to cut Simon, so leaving this massive
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: gash on Simon. The King the Mark of Kane is
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: gonna take that, throw it, take it back. It's gonna
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: take it back, and it's gonna take that throw it
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: back with interest time seven mm hmmm hm. So, so
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: here's what happens. As soon as Lilith sees that she
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: had accidentally struck Simon, the only thing, she only has
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: time to say one thing sevenfold who just as she
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: says that, a pillar of light shoots down from the
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: sky likes her, completely obliterating her.
- 1:08:04Speaker 2: That's right, that's right.
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: So the the thing is about Lilith is that she's
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: still a greater demon. So she's not dead, but her
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: essence is scattered so thinly now that it's going to
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: take a very long time before she's able to reconstitute herself.
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: But essentially she's dead for the time being dead. Yeah,
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: so cool, yay, big bad, she's dead. Okay, cool, let's
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: all get out of here. Oh wait, it's not it's
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: not that's not how the story goes. Yeah, there's no
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: happily ever after, at least not yet. No even then,
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: not shit, not even oh like, even after the Moral
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: Instruments ends like that, they still like they're still going
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: to encounter their those two are still going to be
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: like struggling for their happily ever after. But that's life
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: from the Shadow Hunsterer.
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: Yeah, that's fair.
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: But the thing is Clary gets takes Clary, takes Simon out,
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: takes Simon away, and Jay stays behind to kind of
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: like cool down. He's still like reeling from the shock
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: of what's happening. And well, here's the thing. Even though
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: Clary managed to disrupt the room that Lilith had placed
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: on him, the control that Lilith had was still technically there.
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: Just disrupted. And well, when Simon had begun draining uh,
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: Jonathan's blood from his body, he invertally reawakened Jonathan's spirit
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: um hm and well, yeah, basically self resurrects and and
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: creates his like and establishes his own control over Jace
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: and compels Jace to complete the ritual to fully resurrect him.
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: So Jace cuts his hand and cuts Jonathan's alm as well.
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: They shake hands, completing the ritual, and Jonathan becomes fully resurrected.
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: Jase is now completely one under Jonathan's control, and then
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: they both disappeared. That is where the book ends.
- 1:10:29Speaker 2: I was, but I was like, how fucking dare you,
- 1:10:33Speaker 2: how fucking dare you leave me like that? On a Cliffhanger,
- 1:10:37Speaker 2: how dare you crime jail? I was mad. I was pissed.
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: It on your whole family, all right, just so on you.
- 1:10:53Speaker 2: Oh god, I was like, what the.
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: Mm mm hmmmm to get is were angry?
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: The gays were angry? Oh yeah, yeah, my gay ass
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: was so angry. I'm still angry. Yeah, that's my novel
- 1:11:07Speaker 2: because the Perfect Novel is not finished yet and I
- 1:11:10Speaker 2: can't read it. I mean I can listen to the
- 1:11:11Speaker 2: audio book. I want to read it. Yeah.
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: So so anyway, that is the in the book four.
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: I'm over here like look, yeah, four. And we will
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: be continuing this story next week with book five. Yep,
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: these books beforehand, it's a city of something, They're all.
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: That's the theme of the whole something. City of Lost Souls.
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: We're gonna be We're going to be continuing the book
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: with book the series with book five, City of Lost Souls. Uh,
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: it's that One's that one's gonna be a roller coaster.
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: I'm not gonna lie. You know, Jonathan's back. He's building
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: up to being the next big dadd equal guy. Larry
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: has to track Chase down and try to get him
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: back and get him out of Jonathan's control. So it's
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: gonna be a it's gonna be.
- 1:12:23Speaker 2: A lot gonna be so yeah, yeah, go ahead and
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: join us for next time I've talked about that yet.
- 1:12:34Speaker 2: Entail Dan Bye. Now, I don't know why the fuck
- 1:12:40Speaker 2: I said like that, but okay, okay, Devin word.
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: I mean, we're both from the South.
