- 0:00Speaker 1: The Big Show Extra sponsored by Farah and Farah.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Here for you, Here for good.
- 0:06Speaker 1: Hope your weekend was good. Welcome to Monday, Welcome to
- 0:09Speaker 1: your first day of June. Good morning, Megan, Good morning,
- 0:13Speaker 1: Good morning, John, morning Frog. Hard to believe it is
- 0:15Speaker 1: already June one, also the beginning of hurricane season. But
- 0:18Speaker 1: today's gonna be absolutely gorgeous.
- 0:20Speaker 3: I did see.
- 0:21Speaker 2: Somewhere that they said there was some disturbance in the
- 0:23Speaker 2: Gulf that could turn into something that looks like That's
- 0:25Speaker 2: not the case. But now definitely the time to be
- 0:28Speaker 2: aware that we are here. I still can't believe I
- 0:31Speaker 2: was saying last night. In thirty days, this year is
- 0:33Speaker 2: gonna be half over. Yeah, it feels like January was
- 0:36Speaker 2: like two weeks ago. It sure does. And uh Luke
- 0:39Speaker 2: Bryan said it in a song. The days go the
- 0:42Speaker 2: days go slow, but the years go fast.
- 0:44Speaker 3: Yep, it's a good way to put it.
- 0:45Speaker 1: Remember our buddy Robbie Rose would always say, the paper
- 0:47Speaker 1: towel roll goes faster toward the end. I know, the
- 0:50Speaker 1: older I get, the quicker, the quicker the years go by.
- 0:53Speaker 1: I can't believe it, man, it is wild as hard
- 0:56Speaker 1: a June first Megan, how was your weekend?
- 0:58Speaker 3: It was good.
- 0:59Speaker 4: It was a little chaotic, but goody.
- 1:02Speaker 2: Chaotic in what way and in some way that we
- 1:06Speaker 2: need to be made aware of.
- 1:07Speaker 4: Uh huh, Yeah, I'm gonna need some help because I've
- 1:10Speaker 4: I picked up a mattress. It's not soaking wet from
- 1:12Speaker 4: the rain. So that was a little eventful.
- 1:17Speaker 1: You you got a new mattress, left it in your
- 1:19Speaker 1: truck and it rained.
- 1:20Speaker 4: I was in the truck and then heard or something
- 1:23Speaker 4: on the radio station that I was like, I need
- 1:25Speaker 4: to come in right now into work and do a
- 1:29Speaker 4: little fixy fixie and downboards. Torrential downpour yesterday. We're right
- 1:34Speaker 4: in the middle of it. So I had this bed
- 1:37Speaker 4: frame and headboard footboard I had picked up from marketplace,
- 1:41Speaker 4: and then this mattress box springs were on top, you know,
- 1:45Speaker 4: so squishy.
- 1:47Speaker 3: So it was like, well, I gotta put on here
- 1:49Speaker 3: and it just is completely soaked.
- 1:51Speaker 4: So we have one room filled with fans, a dehumidifier
- 1:54Speaker 4: right flow dryer Online said put kitty litter on it,
- 2:02Speaker 4: but I was like, I don't know about that.
- 2:03Speaker 3: That's a little dusty for the guests to sleep on.
- 2:05Speaker 1: After I'm asking telling them won't ask any questions. If
- 2:10Speaker 1: they went the bath'll be all set.
- 2:12Speaker 3: That's true. That's true about.
- 2:14Speaker 1: Your weekend, John, I was your weekend. Oh it was fine.
- 2:17Speaker 1: I did something physically that I probably shouldn't have done,
- 2:20Speaker 1: and I was just playing catch with my my grandson,
- 2:23Speaker 1: and and then I reached out for something where my
- 2:26Speaker 1: hip was kind of not agreeing with the reach. And
- 2:28Speaker 1: so I've done something where I'm I'm well, you see
- 2:31Speaker 1: it right over here? This walker, Yeah, I got a
- 2:33Speaker 1: stinking walker. And first thing, first thing Megan does, she
- 2:37Speaker 1: didn't go, are you okay? Said? The first thing, she was, hey,
- 2:39Speaker 1: we can we can put flames on that thing. Then
- 2:44Speaker 1: she asked if I was okay. But first someone she
- 2:46Speaker 1: wanted to dazzle it. Of course, you know what you know.
- 2:50Speaker 1: We'll get into this a little bit later on. I
- 2:51Speaker 1: also one time hurt myself doing something really really simple. Yeah,
- 2:55Speaker 1: that you think would be.
- 2:56Speaker 2: Like, huh, well, how'd you heard some But it's possible
- 2:58Speaker 2: you just moved the slightest little way wrong happens. Yep,
- 3:02Speaker 2: let's get into what Megan's three things we need to
- 3:04Speaker 2: know to get started off on this Jack's Monday, June first,
- 3:08Speaker 2: what's going on?
- 3:09Speaker 3: Then, well it does.
- 3:09Speaker 4: This is a little bit of happy news. New things
- 3:12Speaker 4: opening in the area. Would be cool to kick off
- 3:14Speaker 4: three things this morning. We have a Chipotle that's opening
- 3:17Speaker 4: up on Normandy Boulevard tomorrow. I love the grand openings.
- 3:22Speaker 4: We also now know that we're getting a cookout on
- 3:26Speaker 4: Beach Boulevard. This will be the first Jack's location. And
- 3:29Speaker 4: really excited because you're so oh my gosh, a whole tray.
- 3:34Speaker 4: He's been like less than five bucks. They have some
- 3:38Speaker 4: drink called cherry wine.
- 3:40Speaker 3: It's really good. It's really good. I'll have to get
- 3:42Speaker 3: you some to try. Whatever we get it.
- 3:45Speaker 1: Really is it cheer wine? Cheerwine?
- 3:47Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, cheerwine.
- 3:48Speaker 2: That's it.
- 3:49Speaker 3: Uh huh, it's different.
- 3:50Speaker 1: It's a Carolina drink.
- 3:51Speaker 3: There really is. Oh, we're speaking Froggies language now.
- 3:56Speaker 4: Really exciting because July third and fourth, we have a
- 3:59Speaker 4: lot locked it in for our city to celebrate America's
- 4:02Speaker 4: two hundred and fiftieth anniversary with family, fun and celebrations.
- 4:07Speaker 3: They'll be live.
- 4:07Speaker 4: Music and a hot dog eating contest of course some fireworks.
- 4:12Speaker 1: So looking forward to Lee Brice with the Big Show.
- 4:14Speaker 1: It's Froggy John and Meghan, good to be with you.
- 4:17Speaker 2: So Megan was ourry. She's already been talking about it
- 4:20Speaker 2: and I'm still blown away by this. So if you
- 4:21Speaker 2: haven't seen the video over the weekend, I guess Morgan
- 4:26Speaker 2: Wallen got upset with a piano.
- 4:27Speaker 3: Megan, Yeah, he did.
- 4:29Speaker 4: So he was on stage performing Sand in My Boots
- 4:31Speaker 4: and when he was in Gainesville, Froggy, do you remember
- 4:35Speaker 4: he was sitting at the piano playing Sand in My Boots.
- 4:39Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I was all over there on that
- 4:40Speaker 1: little side stage.
- 4:41Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 4:42Speaker 4: So I guess there was some kind of technical problems
- 4:46Speaker 4: with the sound and he couldn't hear the piano of
- 4:48Speaker 4: the entire time. In the videos I saw, you can't
- 4:51Speaker 4: really hear the piano that well too.
- 4:53Speaker 3: So after he finishes it, he gets.
- 4:56Speaker 4: Up and it was really funny because he taught this
- 5:00Speaker 4: piano and I say that kind of lightly because he
- 5:02Speaker 4: flipped it over, but he kind of did it in
- 5:05Speaker 4: a way that looked like a dramatic, like a little
- 5:07Speaker 4: kid that's just like, uh like thrown it to the side.
- 5:11Speaker 4: And pianos are so heavy, obviously this one wasn't because
- 5:14Speaker 4: it just went whoop right over and then he just
- 5:17Speaker 4: walked away. But it wasn't like I don't know, it
- 5:20Speaker 4: was funny to watch because you're kind of like, I'm
- 5:22Speaker 4: a little cringed out seeing this.
- 5:25Speaker 2: And what did it look like the you frog, Well,
- 5:28Speaker 2: it looked like he was mad. And then he dumped
- 5:30Speaker 2: it over and then he just moved on like Okay,
- 5:32Speaker 2: I'm done with that, and then move on to the
- 5:33Speaker 2: next thing, like you know what, we won't have to
- 5:35Speaker 2: deal with that piano anymore.
- 5:36Speaker 1: So I don't know, yep, piano's art light You're right, no,
- 5:40Speaker 1: And he didn't even say anything like he didn't say
- 5:42Speaker 1: and he just literally walked he finished the song, walked around,
- 5:46Speaker 1: walked up to it, pushed it over, walked away like
- 5:48Speaker 1: come with that one.
- 5:49Speaker 4: It looked like he was mad. It was so casual,
- 5:52Speaker 4: like you thought it was the most part of the performance.
- 5:56Speaker 4: We're going all in chairs and pianos.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Shake it for me, might break something big show. Make
- 6:04Speaker 1: it good to be with you, John. You gotta be
- 6:07Speaker 1: careful with that business now, dang man. Yeah, I can't
- 6:10Speaker 1: shake it. I can't shake it anymore because I might
- 6:12Speaker 1: be with a walker soon like I am today, man,
- 6:16Speaker 1: just playing catch playing.
- 6:17Speaker 2: Ketron comes in a little bit late today, he's rolling
- 6:19Speaker 2: in a little bit late. We were concerned, like, uh,
- 6:21Speaker 2: where's John? Because John is like a clock man. You
- 6:23Speaker 2: could set your watch to John getting the work.
- 6:26Speaker 1: And I know you texted me and I'm in my
- 6:28Speaker 1: car and I'm like, oh, shoot, am I a little late?
- 6:30Speaker 1: Oh yeah, it does take ten minutes to get to
- 6:32Speaker 1: the car when you're with a walker. So what exactly
- 6:35Speaker 1: happened last Friday? Playing catch? The two year old and
- 6:38Speaker 1: I were playing catch. Normally, we just have good fun
- 6:41Speaker 1: in the den and we're just throwing it back and
- 6:42Speaker 1: forth and he runs and slides and we have a
- 6:45Speaker 1: great time. Well, this one one of his throws went
- 6:47Speaker 1: a little errant, just enough where I'm reaching for it,
- 6:50Speaker 1: and I got off the couch and kind of stretched
- 6:52Speaker 1: to try to catch it and have fun. And then
- 6:56Speaker 1: it went something something in the hip air. You went
- 7:01Speaker 1: oh no, and I thought, oh, that doesn't sound good.
- 7:05Speaker 1: And then I got up and I was like, well,
- 7:08Speaker 1: maybe it made it feel better, Maybe I just needed loosening.
- 7:11Speaker 1: Maybe it was a chiropractic move. No, it ended up
- 7:14Speaker 1: about six hours later. Said no, you won't be moving soon, son,
- 7:19Speaker 1: And so yeah, just something I pulled something, and so
- 7:21Speaker 1: I look it up. Of course, do I call the doctor? No,
- 7:23Speaker 1: I go to the internet, and then, like we all do, yes,
- 7:28Speaker 1: and it just says do the rice thing, man, resting,
- 7:30Speaker 1: elevating ice and compress and so it's kind of hard
- 7:34Speaker 1: to compress your hip. It's tough. So unfortunately it got worse.
- 7:40Speaker 1: Like Saturday night to Sunday morning, it took me fifteen
- 7:43Speaker 1: Normally a one minute trip to the restroom took fifteen,
- 7:46Speaker 1: and oh my gosh, it's just crazy. Man. So anyway,
- 7:50Speaker 1: it didn't get much better yesterday. So I'm man. I
- 7:54Speaker 1: keep trying to ward off a doctor's visit, but that
- 7:58Speaker 1: might be inevitable. But we'll see what happened. But for
- 8:01Speaker 1: the simplest things, I've played how many years, probably twenty
- 8:04Speaker 1: thirty seasons of sports between baseball and basketball and football
- 8:08Speaker 1: and everything, and never got injured and then reaching for
- 8:13Speaker 1: a ball, No, no, I did it. One time.
- 8:17Speaker 2: I had to go somewhere one time and I was
- 8:19Speaker 2: kind of in a hurry that was brushing my teeth.
- 8:21Speaker 1: I wouldn't say violently, but I was in a hurry.
- 8:23Speaker 2: I was brushing my teeth, and I just I moved
- 8:25Speaker 2: my arm and my neck the wrong way, and I
- 8:28Speaker 2: pulled a muscle in the top of my back, bottom
- 8:31Speaker 2: of my neck tack, and I could barely walk.
- 8:36Speaker 1: And when people would say to me, what's wrong with you?
- 8:37Speaker 1: What happened? I literally had to tell them I was
- 8:39Speaker 1: brushing my teeth.
- 8:41Speaker 3: What.
- 8:43Speaker 4: At least John's got a cool story. Was playing sports?
- 8:48Speaker 1: I did not.
- 8:49Speaker 2: So I would love to hear from people who have
- 8:51Speaker 2: gotten injured in the strangest way. Nine oh four three
- 8:54Speaker 2: eight eight thirty six ninety nine. What is the strangest
- 8:57Speaker 2: like non injuring thing you've done to injure yourself, Because
- 9:02Speaker 2: it does happen. It's not a it's not just an
- 9:05Speaker 2: old person thing.
- 9:06Speaker 1: No, this is real. No. I did my neck one
- 9:09Speaker 1: time when I was twenty two. I looked one way
- 9:12Speaker 1: and my neck stuck. I mean I was going to
- 9:14Speaker 1: a huge concert like the next night, and I was like,
- 9:17Speaker 1: I'm not going with the bad neck. And unfortunately too.
- 9:19Speaker 4: Yeah, it's crazy when your neck gets stuck like that too,
- 9:23Speaker 4: and it hurts.
- 9:23Speaker 3: You cannot move.
- 9:25Speaker 4: I mean, you're lucky if you can get up by
- 9:27Speaker 4: yourself to sit up right in the recline.
- 9:31Speaker 1: With Country ninety nine one WQ I k The Big
- 9:34Speaker 1: Show with Froggy John and Meghan twenty three year old dude,
- 9:38Speaker 1: he's under arrest. Officers responded to crash and a driver
- 9:45Speaker 1: had fled the scene on foot, so they're like, oh, man,
- 9:48Speaker 1: what happened here? Driver's gone. Canine unit was called in
- 9:51Speaker 1: to kind of track the driver down and they found him.
- 9:54Speaker 1: So the canine unit did their job. They found the
- 9:57Speaker 1: guy who had fled the scene of the accident. Nobody
- 10:00Speaker 1: else was involved. Turned out it was the same man
- 10:04Speaker 1: who had earlier reported the car stolen. The guy was
- 10:10Speaker 1: arrested for stealing his own car. I don't know where
- 10:15Speaker 1: he thought this was going to end. But welcome to Monday,
- 10:19Speaker 1: The Big Show with Froggie, John and Meghan. All Right,
- 10:22Speaker 1: so we've got three people.
- 10:23Speaker 2: In this room, so that means we will not have
- 10:25Speaker 2: a tie in this question I'm about to ask. And
- 10:28Speaker 2: many people were polled on this. This is an important deal. Okay,
- 10:31Speaker 2: and Megan, what is the first day of the week
- 10:34Speaker 2: for you?
- 10:35Speaker 3: Monday?
- 10:37Speaker 1: John, what is the first day of the week for
- 10:39Speaker 1: you Sunday? I'm a Monday too, Okay, Yeah, I accept
- 10:46Speaker 1: the results of this poll.
- 10:48Speaker 3: I get them actually on the winning side.
- 10:50Speaker 1: Of this because the calendars start on Sunday. I think, correct,
- 10:54Speaker 1: I go with calendars, I guess it says here. Fifty
- 10:57Speaker 1: four percent of Americans say Monday is the first day before,
- 11:00Speaker 1: say Sunday, because of calendars, because calendars have always started
- 11:05Speaker 1: over on a Sunday. I've been to a store before
- 11:08Speaker 1: and seen where you could buy a calendar. You could
- 11:10Speaker 1: buy a like one of those book calendars, and it
- 11:12Speaker 1: does start on a Monday. But yeah, it just I
- 11:15Speaker 1: always think Sunday is the end of the week and
- 11:17Speaker 1: Monday is the beginning of the week, just because I
- 11:19Speaker 1: guess we go back to work. We always we reset
- 11:21Speaker 1: on Monday. I guess I could definitely see either way.
- 11:24Speaker 1: But I certainly wouldn't want to buy a Monday calendar,
- 11:26Speaker 1: Monday first calendar, because I'd be thrown for life. I'd
- 11:30Speaker 1: be a day off and a dollar short every day,
- 11:33Speaker 1: that would it says here.
- 11:35Speaker 2: Monday is the start of the week in Europe, Asia, Australia,
- 11:41Speaker 2: Africa is basically split in half, and Saturday is considered
- 11:44Speaker 2: the first day of the weekend Iran, Afghanistan, and Somalia.
- 11:48Speaker 2: But in Europe and Asia, Monday is the first day
- 11:51Speaker 2: of the week that maybe that's how their calendars roll,
- 11:54Speaker 2: they do Mondays. But here in the US, yeah, most
- 11:57Speaker 2: people see Monday as the start of the weekend. To
- 12:00Speaker 2: think about it. When I saw the survey, I'm like, so, like,
- 12:02Speaker 2: what is the first day? And I recognize the calendar
- 12:05Speaker 2: always is is Sunday. But I think in my mind,
- 12:09Speaker 2: I always think we're starting a new week because I'll
- 12:11Speaker 2: start saying last week today. Like, if you ask me
- 12:14Speaker 2: something that happens, I'll say it happened last week. Today,
- 12:18Speaker 2: I'll start talking about last week, was you know yesterday
- 12:20Speaker 2: in the in the week before interesting yesterday, I would
- 12:23Speaker 2: have said, oh, yeah it was there, Yeah it was
- 12:24Speaker 2: this week.
- 12:26Speaker 1: I got you. I hear that, and I once again
- 12:29Speaker 1: I side with either. I'll side with the majority on this.
- 12:32Speaker 4: It's really interesting though, if we end up in Europe
- 12:34Speaker 4: like we can't buy calendars.
- 12:39Speaker 1: That's what Meghan pulled away from calendar. Whatever you do,
- 12:44Speaker 1: and heavens no, don't get a calendar in some moll Yeah,
- 12:47Speaker 1: you'll be totally screwed.
- 12:49Speaker 2: You start your first day of the week, or as
- 12:51Speaker 2: most of using Megan's three Things you need to know,
- 12:55Speaker 2: don't go to a ran off Kanastan either not for
- 12:57Speaker 2: a calendar.
- 13:01Speaker 4: We're getting a cookout on Beach Boulevard. It's the first
- 13:05Speaker 4: Jack's location, which is really exciting. Tomorrow there's a grand
- 13:09Speaker 4: opening for Chipotle. One's coming to Normandy Boulevard on the
- 13:13Speaker 4: west side in Jacksonville.
- 13:15Speaker 3: I'm excited. That's over by me and John. So it's close.
- 13:18Speaker 1: It's right there. I mean it's it's kind of stands out.
- 13:21Speaker 1: It stands alone right there on that stretch, just a
- 13:23Speaker 1: little bit west of two ninety five.
- 13:25Speaker 3: Awesome.
- 13:26Speaker 4: Yeah, that means my door dash won't take forty five minutes.
- 13:29Speaker 4: It'll take maybe twenty five. July third and fourth, the
- 13:33Speaker 4: city has locked in a big celebration for America's two
- 13:37Speaker 4: hundred and fiftieth anniversary.
- 13:39Speaker 2: Kind of cool.
- 13:39Speaker 4: We get Fourth of July celebration times two music like
- 13:43Speaker 4: live music, fireworks, and a hot dog eating contest, which I.
- 13:49Speaker 3: Might, Oh you're thinking I might. I feel like it'd
- 13:52Speaker 3: be kind of hard, but yeah, but we'll see do
- 13:55Speaker 3: it like dunk the water Nathan's hot dog kind of thing.
- 13:58Speaker 1: I could be your trade person.
- 13:59Speaker 3: I'll be glad to my coach.
- 14:00Speaker 1: I did it with Joey Chestnut for crying out loud.
- 14:02Speaker 1: I can do it for you.
- 14:03Speaker 3: Okay, let's do it. That's three things you need to know.
- 14:07Speaker 1: And it's time for good, good, good concert. We got
- 14:11Speaker 1: Chris Stapleton. He's going to be here this next week.
- 14:15Speaker 4: Yeah, oh my god, because it's almost June.
- 14:17Speaker 5: It is.
- 14:19Speaker 2: First Yeah, Stapleton's next week. All right, looking for caller nine,
- 14:23Speaker 2: uh and ten. Right now, I're going to play the
- 14:25Speaker 2: pop quiz call is nine and ten at nine oh four, three, eight,
- 14:28Speaker 2: eight thirty six ninety nine.
- 14:30Speaker 1: You're going to see Stapleton. Tickets up for grabs. Good morning,
- 14:33Speaker 1: It's the Big Show with Froggie, John and Megan in
- 14:35Speaker 1: Country ninety nine one WQ.
- 14:37Speaker 2: I K all right, Magan, So I got a question
- 14:39Speaker 2: because I can't ask John because he's not a pet owner.
- 14:41Speaker 2: So this is definitely a pet owner question. Okay, if
- 14:45Speaker 2: it came down to in the relationship, would you pick
- 14:49Speaker 2: Luna or Ali as your favorite?
- 14:52Speaker 4: Luna German Shepherd, think hard about it, Angel, take a second,
- 15:00Speaker 4: I think about it.
- 15:01Speaker 1: You are not alone, Megan.
- 15:02Speaker 2: Eighty two percent of people in this poll said they
- 15:04Speaker 2: would pick their pet over their partner in their relationship.
- 15:07Speaker 3: No, you're a pet owner. Too, So what's your answer.
- 15:10Speaker 1: Rexy boy is my best friend in the whole world. Man.
- 15:13Speaker 2: Wow, Actually it's funny. Just last night we had one
- 15:19Speaker 2: popsicle left in the in the freezert there was one popsicle,
- 15:24Speaker 2: so I went to get it and Lisa heard that
- 15:26Speaker 2: are For some reason, our freezer.
- 15:28Speaker 1: Door opens really loud.
- 15:29Speaker 2: I opened it. She said, I know what you're doing.
- 15:31Speaker 2: I know you're grabbing the last popsicle. I said, I am.
- 15:34Speaker 2: I get it, and I said, do you want to
- 15:36Speaker 2: split it? She goes, you don't split popsicles, you can
- 15:38Speaker 2: just have it. I'm like, I'll give you some. She's like, no,
- 15:40Speaker 2: it's fine. I'm like, all right, fine. I sat down
- 15:43Speaker 2: on the couch. I split it with Rex. I let
- 15:46Speaker 2: Rex have some licks.
- 15:47Speaker 1: I ate some. Rex had some licks, I ate some.
- 15:49Speaker 1: We split our last popsicle. Rex is my best friend.
- 15:51Speaker 4: There's a common denominator too in me and Froggy's house.
- 15:55Speaker 4: Our dogs both love our significant others more.
- 15:59Speaker 3: I would argue, like, oh loving Like.
- 16:01Speaker 4: Rex is always trying to cuddle up with Lisa, Luna
- 16:04Speaker 4: is always trying to be with Allie.
- 16:06Speaker 3: So as a deprived pet parent, I'm just.
- 16:11Speaker 2: Him over figure if I give him enough food and treats,
- 16:13Speaker 2: maybe he'll choose me first one.
- 16:14Speaker 3: Day five years of pay the cheese tax?
- 16:16Speaker 1: Though, and has were's a bunch of other hats evidently
- 16:19Speaker 1: too funny funny memes for Marco Rubio? How old is
- 16:23Speaker 1: our Secretary of State? Marco Rubio? John? Fifty three? Dan?
- 16:28Speaker 1: Is he older? Younger than fifty three? He's younger. He's
- 16:32Speaker 1: actually a little older. He's fifty five. Really fifty five
- 16:35Speaker 1: years old for mister Rubio. Yeah, that was a great guest.
- 16:38Speaker 1: John made it tough on Dan. So John gets that point.
- 16:40Speaker 1: Well done? All right, Dan, this is yours first, sir.
- 16:43Speaker 1: Today is National Dinosaur Day. Wishing you all a happy
- 16:46Speaker 1: dinosaur Day. In a poll of more than a one
- 16:50Speaker 1: thousand American adults, they were asked how many dinosaurs they
- 16:53Speaker 1: could name off the top of their head. What percentage
- 16:56Speaker 1: of Americans said zero? I would say, John, is that
- 17:02Speaker 1: number higher or lower? Higher? You know it's actually lower.
- 17:07Speaker 1: I guess we know more about a dinosaurs that we
- 17:09Speaker 1: know about the Constitution. Nine percent nine percent, Only nine
- 17:14Speaker 1: percent said they couldn't name a dinosaur. Watch what's your
- 17:17Speaker 1: favorite dinosaur? Megan girl?
- 17:20Speaker 3: What about you?
- 17:21Speaker 1: I think I'm a brontosaurus guy. Really goofy looking dude. Yeah,
- 17:25Speaker 1: they're so cute. All right, it's tied. It's time for
- 17:30Speaker 1: a tiebreaker. If you know the answer to this question,
- 17:32Speaker 1: shout your name. Spelling Bee was last week? You know,
- 17:36Speaker 1: big script, spelling bee was last week. How many c's
- 17:40Speaker 1: are in the state Connecticut? Are there? Dan three? You're right?
- 17:46Speaker 5: Whoa?
- 17:47Speaker 1: But jop?
- 17:48Speaker 3: That was quick? Oh god, my goodness.
- 17:51Speaker 1: You couldn't spell it in your head that fast. Well done, John,
- 17:55Speaker 1: We appreciate you playing. Congratulations, Take care man, Dan par
- 18:00Speaker 1: tickets for Chris Stapleton. That's the big show Froggy, John
- 18:04Speaker 1: and Megan Monday morning. I hope everything's going well with you.
- 18:08Speaker 1: This is a headline that caught my attention over the weekend.
- 18:10Speaker 1: Of all. You know, they try to snag you with
- 18:12Speaker 1: a good headline. Yep, this one got me that I
- 18:15Speaker 1: actually had to click into. This is the headline. What
- 18:20Speaker 1: is it? More than eleven hundred outdoor lounge chairs recalled
- 18:24Speaker 1: due to amputation risk? What that's what I said?
- 18:28Speaker 3: Kidding me?
- 18:29Speaker 2: That's what I'm lounging in a chair and all of
- 18:31Speaker 2: a sudden it takes a limb that's a problem.
- 18:34Speaker 1: One consumer reportedly suffered a finger amputation while adjusting the backrest.
- 18:39Speaker 3: Are they spring loaded?
- 18:40Speaker 1: Yes, they must be. We have some of those heavy
- 18:44Speaker 1: duty chairs, the lounge chairs. We go to a lot
- 18:47Speaker 1: of softball games. You know, we'll bring the lounge chair. Now,
- 18:50Speaker 1: when I'm getting up, sometimes I reach in and I
- 18:53Speaker 1: accidentally adjust the chair while I'm trying to get up.
- 18:56Speaker 1: It's a comical thing just for me to get out
- 18:58Speaker 1: of a chair and try to fold it. But I
- 19:01Speaker 1: hit the button and all of a sudden, it kind
- 19:02Speaker 1: of like Go Go gadgets. It's a whole different you know,
- 19:05Speaker 1: it turns into an umbrella or something, and I'm wondering
- 19:08Speaker 1: what's going on, But I guess I see there's some
- 19:10Speaker 1: spring loading going on where you can lose a finger.
- 19:14Speaker 1: But that's a headline that'll get your attention.
- 19:16Speaker 3: We have more to.
- 19:17Speaker 4: Worry about now when it comes to like our parents
- 19:20Speaker 4: and what they're doing is typically was just the chainsaw
- 19:23Speaker 4: growing up. When you heard Meg, don't give me a towel,
- 19:26Speaker 4: you know it's an issue.
- 19:28Speaker 3: Grab the towel and the car keys. Now you gotta
- 19:30Speaker 3: worry about the chairs too, dude.
- 19:33Speaker 1: It's wild these chairs.
- 19:34Speaker 2: They are hard to close, but at the same time
- 19:36Speaker 2: you'll get ones that are easier.
- 19:37Speaker 1: It's like, what you push this one button, the whole
- 19:39Speaker 1: thing collapses.
- 19:40Speaker 2: The problem is you push that button when you're in it,
- 19:43Speaker 2: or one of your fingers in the wrong spot, right
- 19:45Speaker 2: amputation wrisk.
- 19:46Speaker 4: There you go and you're searching for a finger and
- 19:49Speaker 4: the grass on the soccer.
- 19:50Speaker 1: Field giant text is the name of this company. In
- 19:54Speaker 1: case you're looking, check and see check your well, you
- 19:59Speaker 1: know there's definitely finger are two lost for them. But
- 20:02Speaker 1: this is gonna call.
- 20:02Speaker 3: Out, count all your digits before you leave.
- 20:07Speaker 2: Your four finger discounts. Three things you need to know
- 20:14Speaker 2: to get you to your taxi on Monday. You got
- 20:18Speaker 2: me on that one man.
- 20:19Speaker 5: Sorry, Well, we have a first look at the future
- 20:25Speaker 5: plans for the big Auto aerospace headquarter and headquarters.
- 20:31Speaker 4: And then there's also airplane like manufacturing plant that's in
- 20:34Speaker 4: the works for Cecil Airport on the west side. These pictures,
- 20:37Speaker 4: I mean, you would think this is like a one
- 20:39Speaker 4: hundred star hotel.
- 20:41Speaker 3: It's huge looking. They've got these.
- 20:44Speaker 4: Water big pools, but you know those fancy like water displays.
- 20:47Speaker 4: People have all kinds of stuff, you know, so it
- 20:50Speaker 4: looks like it's gonna be really cool.
- 20:52Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a lot of money coming into town.
- 20:55Speaker 3: Yes, it is July third and fourth.
- 20:56Speaker 4: The city's locked in for the big celebration for America
- 21:00Speaker 4: is a two hundred and fiftieth anniversary. She's supposed to
- 21:03Speaker 4: be a lot of family fun celebrations, live music, fireworks,
- 21:07Speaker 4: hot dog eating contests, and a lot more happening those
- 21:10Speaker 4: two days. And we're getting a new restaurant on Beach
- 21:14Speaker 4: Boulevard Cookout.
- 21:15Speaker 3: It's the first Jack's location. It should be popping up.
- 21:18Speaker 4: They're keeping the grand opening date like locked lockdown.
- 21:23Speaker 3: But as soon as we get weird, we'll let you know.
- 21:25Speaker 3: That's three things you need to know.
- 21:27Speaker 1: Well, around eight thirty, we've got really cool weekend passes
- 21:30Speaker 1: for the first ever Alan Jackson's Five o'clock Somewhere Fest
- 21:33Speaker 1: that's happening in a couple of weeks down the Palm
- 21:35Speaker 1: Beach's Waterfront Commons. Now Alan's not there, we have no
- 21:39Speaker 1: we have decided Allen is not there. But Ella Langley
- 21:42Speaker 1: will be there, Okay, Jimmy buffett'squoll Reef Bandella. It's got
- 21:46Speaker 1: a whole kind of good stuff, A great weekend full
- 21:48Speaker 1: of great music and you could be going a little weird.
- 21:50Speaker 2: We've got Alan Jackson five o'clock somewhere fest, but Alan
- 21:53Speaker 2: Jackson not going to be there.
- 21:55Speaker 1: Correct, Correct, It's like Dick Clark's rocking New Year's Eve
- 21:58Speaker 1: without Dick Clark. But yeah, at least Alan still alive.
- 22:02Speaker 1: He's just not gonna be with us. He's just not performing.
- 22:04Speaker 1: It's gonna be there, but it's a great two days.
- 22:07Speaker 1: I mean, we got weekend passes here, Palm Beach, Waterfront's
- 22:09Speaker 1: Common at West Palm Beach, Ella Langley, Old Dominion, Jimmy
- 22:13Speaker 1: Buffett's Call Reefer Band will be there, also Dylan Scott,
- 22:17Speaker 1: Clint Black, and a whole bunch of other folks. So
- 22:20Speaker 1: this is fun, fun, fun. It is gonna be a
- 22:22Speaker 1: good show. So if you want to go, all you
- 22:24Speaker 1: have to do is know Meghan's tough country lyrics. She's
- 22:27Speaker 1: gonna make it tough on you though, so make sure
- 22:29Speaker 1: you know these. If you do gotta be call her nine.
- 22:31Speaker 1: What do you got? Meghan?
- 22:32Speaker 4: And someday when I'm ninety, she's that wooden rocking chair.
- 22:38Speaker 1: In some days when I'm ninety, she's that wooden rocking chair.
- 22:42Speaker 1: I know I've heard it, but I don't know what
- 22:43Speaker 1: song it's from. Todayty q I K. Good morning, it's
- 22:47Speaker 1: the Big Show with Froggie, John and Meghan. It's a
- 22:50Speaker 1: it's a nice Monday, and it's the weather after all
- 22:52Speaker 1: the storms that came blowing through over the weekend gives
- 22:55Speaker 1: us this very nice Monday to get through. It is.
- 22:59Speaker 1: I think there's a chance of hours again tomorrow as well, though. Yeah,
- 23:02Speaker 1: just be prepared. But once again we needed.
- 23:04Speaker 2: It's funny it rains for a couple of days and
- 23:06Speaker 2: everybody's like, oh, we.
- 23:07Speaker 1: Got all the rain we need. We're all good.
- 23:09Speaker 2: I'm like, no, no, no, we were forty Megan, didn't you
- 23:12Speaker 2: say we were forty so inches?
- 23:13Speaker 1: At one point we had forty four here, m hmm. Yeah,
- 23:16Speaker 1: so we still could use more rains, but it was
- 23:18Speaker 1: more tomorrow. Yeah. It was nice to see some of
- 23:20Speaker 1: the lakes and some of the retention ponds in our
- 23:22Speaker 1: neighborhood actually risen. It was very nice to see.
- 23:26Speaker 3: We weren't a drochill downpour yesterday.
- 23:28Speaker 1: Oh unfortunately. Yeah, we got enough rain. But Megan's new
- 23:32Speaker 1: mattress got a ton of rain. Yeah, yeah, we got
- 23:34Speaker 1: to talk about that. So hold on.
- 23:35Speaker 2: So Megan got a new mattress, did you put anything
- 23:39Speaker 2: over it, any kind of cover, any kind of tarp anything.
- 23:41Speaker 3: There was a just a mattress protector on it.
- 23:44Speaker 2: That's it, okay, yeah, and that's not really waterproof, that's
- 23:47Speaker 2: only fair.
- 23:48Speaker 4: And it was so stuff off you like it was sunny,
- 23:51Speaker 4: it was hot, and I picked it up in Saint Augustine.
- 23:54Speaker 4: By the time I got just out of there, I
- 23:59Speaker 4: mean pouring down rain. My windshel wipers needed to be replaced,
- 24:03Speaker 4: probably like six months ago. Every time I go take
- 24:07Speaker 4: my car in, I'm like, no, no, no, I'm not
- 24:09Speaker 4: paying for that. I can do it myself.
- 24:10Speaker 1: Uh huh.
- 24:11Speaker 3: And I never do uh huh.
- 24:13Speaker 4: So we couldn't see mattress is soaking wet. So now
- 24:16Speaker 4: it's been aired out, dehumidifier, fans, blow dryer.
- 24:21Speaker 3: I mean it's horrible.
- 24:22Speaker 1: And with every swipe on those windshield wipers, you can
- 24:25Speaker 1: hear it talking to you. It's like you need wipers.
- 24:31Speaker 3: I hate you.
- 24:36Speaker 1: So what are you doing now? So you're trying to
- 24:37Speaker 1: air it out now? Yeah.
- 24:39Speaker 4: I try to watch all these videos, but the only
- 24:42Speaker 4: thing I could find was people that had like pets
- 24:44Speaker 4: that had accidents on them. Not you have a foam
- 24:48Speaker 4: mattress completely soaked in water, and I have company coming
- 24:51Speaker 4: on Thursday, so I need I need to get this
- 24:55Speaker 4: figured out quick.
- 24:57Speaker 1: Yes, you got to get that figured out there. Somebody's
- 24:59Speaker 1: going to be sleeping on a damp mattress.
- 25:01Speaker 3: Yeah, my friend might be sleeping on the couch at
- 25:03Speaker 3: this one.
- 25:03Speaker 1: I've been wondered that though.
- 25:04Speaker 2: I've seen people before where you see they have a
- 25:06Speaker 2: mattress at the back of their car and they're going somewhere,
- 25:08Speaker 2: and I'm like, what if it starts raining? Well, Meg,
- 25:10Speaker 2: and I guess you answered that question.
- 25:11Speaker 4: Found out you don't want to be in this situation,
- 25:13Speaker 4: I'm telling you. And you know how heavy these mattresses
- 25:16Speaker 4: are when.
- 25:17Speaker 1: They're west So how'd you get it out of the car?
- 25:19Speaker 3: I didn't work. He put it over his head and
- 25:24Speaker 3: walked it up.
- 25:28Speaker 4: I know afterwards he plopped down on the couch and
- 25:31Speaker 4: he was like, I can't fill my legs. I'm sorry,
- 25:36Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 25:37Speaker 2: Laid out on that mattress because you'll get wet, so
- 25:39Speaker 2: go get on another.
- 25:41Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly, That's what's.
- 25:43Speaker 2: Get in a Mega's three things you need to know
- 25:45Speaker 2: to get you to your Jacks Monday.
- 25:46Speaker 1: What is going on.
- 25:47Speaker 3: We're getting some new restaurant locations around town. The first ever.
- 25:50Speaker 4: Cookout in Jack's is being put up on Beach Boulevard,
- 25:54Speaker 4: which is exciting. Tomorrow a new Chipotle is popping up
- 25:58Speaker 4: on Normandy.
- 26:00Speaker 3: I'm really happy about that because that's over where I live.
- 26:02Speaker 1: Yep.
- 26:03Speaker 4: And we have the first look at the future plans
- 26:06Speaker 4: for the Auto Aerospace headquarters and airplane manufacturing plant that
- 26:11Speaker 4: they're putting up at Cecil Airport over on the west side.
- 26:14Speaker 4: And this thing looks fancy pansy. I mean, you won't
- 26:17Speaker 4: even be able to recognize.
- 26:18Speaker 1: See, this is your chance to win a brand new
- 26:20Speaker 1: Nimnick Chevy Equinox right now. Make sure you hit us
- 26:24Speaker 1: up Country ninety nine and one WQIK on the free

- 26:32Speaker 1: the keyword.
- 26:34Speaker 2: Well, I would tell you what it is, but once
- 26:35Speaker 2: again I don't know it and Meghan has kept the secret.
- 26:38Speaker 2: So Megan, you go ahead and tell them what is
- 26:40Speaker 2: the keyword?
- 26:40Speaker 3: It's mile m I l E. The keyword is mile.
- 26:46Speaker 1: Got that now, frog in case anybody ask you between
- 26:49Speaker 1: now and ten o'clock mile M I L E. I'm
