- 0:03And here we go the second hour show number of five thousand, one hundred
- 0:07and nine of the Morning Show, otherwise known as Common Sense Amplified. I'm
- 0:12Preston Scott. That is Grant Allan. It's a delight to be with you,
- 0:16and I'm going to get right to it because I'm thrilled to have back
- 0:19with US. US Senator Tommy Tubberville from Alabama. Good morning, sir,
- 0:23how are you? Good morning, Preston. I'm doing well as well it
- 0:28could be expected up there in the clown world. Is there a shot for
- 0:34that? I'm gonna tell I tell you what this place you can't you can't
- 0:39put put a picture to all that as it goes on up here. You
- 0:43know, it's just it's really scared you, to be honest with you pressing
- 0:46me and you and I have talked before, and I will tell you that,
- 0:51man, this is a divisionist country like I've never seen. And we've
- 0:54got a guy that doesn't know what date it is it is supposed to be
- 0:57our leader, and Joe Biden, and it's really scary. Well, let's
- 1:00maybe try to find a little bit of a view that's half full as opposed
- 1:04to half empty. It was Super Tuesday. Yesterday, Donald Trump all but
- 1:10clinched the deal. What are your expectations of Nikki Haley. Well, she's
- 1:15had her fifteen minutes of fame. I've listened to her speak before or five
- 1:21years ago, and she is an establishment one hundred percent, and she she's
- 1:26going to be a career politician. And the thing is that everybody should know
- 1:32about Donald Trump is he loves the country, number one, but he also
- 1:38loves loyalty. And he gave Nicky Haley an opportunity to be you anbassador.
- 1:44And then she said, well, I'm not going to run for president.
- 1:47I'm gonna do this or that, And of course she lied about that and
- 1:49she ran. She's just trying to get her name in the hat and this
- 1:53will probably end of her career in national politics. She needs to go get
- 1:57a real job for a while. I understand how American people are hurting and
- 2:01the direction that this country is actually going, and it's not going in the
- 2:06right direction right now, and she's not somebody that needs to be even close
- 2:09to part of this answer to all the problems we got right now. He
- 2:16might make her something, but she gonna try to hold him hostage and try
- 2:21to get some kind of cabinet or vice presidential nomination. Let me ask you
- 2:25this, I'm a big fan of President Trump's policies. One area that I
- 2:32felt like he fell short, which he's certainly not alone. This has been
- 2:38going on for several decades now, is with regard to our debt. Do
- 2:43you have assurances? Are you aware of whether or not that will be something
- 2:46he will tackle should he be, you know, find his way through the
- 2:51maze of cheating that the Democrats are likely to do in November, Well,
- 2:55exactly, he knows that's our number one national security I've talked about I've played
- 3:01a lot of golf with him, talked about it, and you know,
- 3:05I've given my thoughts of what I've seen up here on Capitol Hill the last
- 3:08three years in the direction of a lot of these neo cons to fight all
- 3:13these wars, and you know, nobody looks out for the American people up
- 3:16here. And that's the reason Donald Trump is so popular. He talks like
- 3:21he's for the for the American people, and he's going to be for the
- 3:23American people. The problem he ran into was COVID, and it cost us
- 3:28treeions of dollars and we don't know really what happened with COVID. We're finding
- 3:31out more and more. I'm on the Health Committee and there's a lot of
- 3:35shenanigans that went on with that h and President Trump was not given a lot
- 3:38of the correct information about what was going on. But yes, I think
- 3:43he's going to really address the debt. We're gonna have to. We have
- 3:46no choice. We can cannot continue to print. We're print and barring eighty
- 3:52thousand dollars a second, four point six million a minute as we speak in
- 3:57this country, and there people, you know, everybody thinks the economy is
- 4:02okay. Well, look at stock market has been been going up. Well,
- 4:08that's pumped up by all this money that the federal government and Joe Biden's
- 4:12putting out in the economy. And Senator or later, we're going to have
- 4:15to realize, hey, we're going to tighten a belt, pull in the
- 4:18strings and say listen. For us to get back to a normal country that
- 4:24can survive, we got to do something about the debt. And President Trump
- 4:27knows that. This is the m A D Radio network where we challenge you
- 4:31to make a difference in your world. M AD again it you know,
- 4:36try to make a positive influence upon others. You know, you be a
- 4:42good person. At the Morning Show, Preston Scott living past with US Senator
- 4:47Tommy Tubberville of Alabama. Senator. The Resident of the United States continues to
- 4:55nominate really weak people for important positions. Secretary of le nominee Julie Sue.
- 5:00You uncovered some details about her, tell us, well, I mean she
- 5:06is she is one that's very very far left progressive, globalist, socialist,
- 5:12and she was before she was assistant a Secretary of Labor, which is what
- 5:18she's doing now she's actually running the Labor department, whatever that is. But
- 5:23we found out she was sending letters to Ice that you do not do your
- 5:29job. You do not arrest people here because they're here illegally. And we
- 5:33found out those those letters and those emails, and it is really resonated up
- 5:39here. But again, the Democrats are still going to try to push her
- 5:42through probably this week and be the full time Secretary of Labor. But that's
- 5:47the that's just the things that we deal with up here. You know,
- 5:50the border is a disaster, and we saw yesterday three hundred and twenty five
- 5:58thousand illegals have been flown in from other countries and we didn't know it.
- 6:02Joe Biden's doing it on his own. Folks were done. If we continue
- 6:06this path, we can't We can't survive. I don't know whether we can
- 6:11survive another year of this, but surely the goodness American people wake up and
- 6:15see we have got to make a change in Washington, d C. In
- 6:19the federal government. You know that, underscore is a question I wanted to
- 6:23ask you. Obviously the President is vital to all of this, but so
- 6:27is getting control of the Senate, and not by just a voter to senator.
- 6:30What are the prospects What are you hearing about the race for the Senate
- 6:35and control of it for November? Well, and the prospects are good for
- 6:41Republicans. The map is good this time. They've got a lot of tough
- 6:44races on their side. Hopefully we can win Montana, Arizona, Ohio,
- 6:49Pennsylvania. I think the prospects that win in fifty three fifty four are good.
- 6:55Now can we do that? Well? Not just wait and see.
- 6:58There's a lot of shenanigans goes on in elections. We know that we saw
- 7:00it in two thousand and twenty. But the main thing is we just got
- 7:04to go do our work and go out and sell the prospects and the candidates
- 7:08that we have, because we've got some really good ones that are really very
- 7:12conservative. They believe in the country, they believe in the things that the
- 7:15Constitution has got us to the point of the best country in the world.
- 7:19But they also don't understand the problems. So I think we've got a good
- 7:23opportunity. You mentioned the border. We've talked about it at nauseum on here.
- 7:28I've got a former member of Customs of Border Patrol rather that comes on
- 7:31the program every other month and we talk about what's going on along the southern
- 7:35border. I'm curious, how is it that flying three hundred thousand plus into
- 7:42this country is not some form of an active treason. Oh, that is
- 7:46an active treason, especially when the federal government, the Senate and the House
- 7:50have no clue about this. That's the reason may Orcus has got to go.
- 7:55This guy's a lied to us. Well, they empeach him in the
- 7:57House. Humor is not going to bring it up. That's not ever gonna
- 8:00happen. But these people can't tell the truth. But they're globalists. They
- 8:03want people to come in here to take over this country because they want power,
- 8:09they want votes. They don't care about the country, they care about
- 8:11them continuing in power. But it's you know, it's uh, just wait
- 8:16and see. Here's what's gonna happen. What's happening in Gaza right now.
- 8:22I would imagine even before the election, you're gonna say, a mass of
- 8:26flyout in palace in Gaza and bringing people from Gaza into the United States,
- 8:33hundreds of thousands. And I'm telling you, uh, you know, uh,
- 8:37we like our freedom, we like our country, we like our Christianity,
- 8:41but we don't want people here that doesn't like us, right and they
- 8:45hate us. And so that's just a problem that we're in and we can't
- 8:50control it. I mean, elections have consequences of Joe Biden's president. Somebody's
- 8:54running the show. We don't know it is, but but it's I think
- 8:58it's president by committee right now. But that'll continue it to happen if if
- 9:01we, for some reason, the American people put this guy back in off.
- 9:05Last question, I know you got a role a coach, but you
- 9:09mentioned Chuck Schumer not allowing uh, you know, certain things to come to
- 9:13the floor. I'm curious what role you think Mitch McConnell's going to play in
- 9:18all of that. I feel like he's been an obstructionist to real conservative values
- 9:22for quite a while now. But looking ahead, he said, is stepping
- 9:26down. I think it's orchestrated. Who do you expect to be the best
- 9:31choice to lead the Senate on the Republican side? Yeah, well, the
- 9:37center. McConnell's really changed since I've gotten here, and for the worst.
- 9:41Health wise, he fell and hit his head on some marvel about a year
- 9:46and a few months ago. He had been the same. He should have
- 9:48stepped down last year when his health really got bad. He's trying to hold
- 9:52on to November. I keep telling people, folks, we can't have a
- 9:56lame duck going into this election. We got we got to put some ain't
- 10:00that position now because that person also needs to get on the plane, support
- 10:03Donald Trump and support candidates in these states that we need to get elected.
- 10:07Yep, he's not going to do that. Mitch McConnell's not going to do
- 10:11that. So I think John Cornyn John Thune will probably be the two front
- 10:16runners for that, but you never know. But again before we get to
- 10:20the convention time. We need somebody in the leadership role that's going to help
- 10:24President Trump and the country with new senators in a lot of these swing states.
- 10:28Coach, I appreciate your time. As always, I'm just going to
- 10:31leave you with this. John Thune and John Cornyn are Mitch McConnell two point
- 10:35zero, and I think we can do better. I think we can do
- 10:37better exactly. I know what you're saying. I appreciate your time. I
- 10:43look forward to having you back. Thank you, Thank you, sir,
- 10:46Coach. Senator Tommy Tuberville with us this morning on the Morning Show with Preston Scott
