- 0:04Testecleese: The.
- 0:09Testecleese: And now is the time when things are shifting.
- 0:11Testecleese: There can be a new, unbelievable, stubborn who are fake news.
- 0:22Testecleese: I am not suicidal.
- 0:25Testecleese: We'll circle back with you directly I can circle back. I'll circle back.
- 0:30Testecleese: Do not come, do not come.
- 0:35Testecleese: I'm gonna come.
- 0:37Testecleese: Hello! And welcome to episode 267 of the Jeffrey and Brian show. I am Jeffrey.
- 0:42Brian McFadden: And I'm Brian.
- 0:44Testecleese: And with his 2 guys drinking some beers, talking about what's going on.
- 0:49Testecleese: Alright. Well, Happy New Year first.st
- 0:54Brian McFadden: Happy New Year.
- 0:59Testecleese: All right. Well, you know.
- 1:00Testecleese: some crazy shit went down on New Year's Day, but we'll definitely get into that.
- 1:04Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 1:05Testecleese: Well, we usually start with. Follow up. So let's have a look at what has been ongoing.
- 1:12Testecleese: Looks like that. Dark workers strike that we were talking about a while ago is about to get started up again.
- 1:17Brian McFadden: Yeah, conveniently stopped right before the election and
- 1:22Brian McFadden: the the delay. Then the things they were arguing about are back on the table again, and apparently, if they go on strike the pay raise they were already negotiated with Goes out. The window, too.
- 1:34Testecleese: Oh, well, i 1 of the big arguments is they don't want to be replaced by machines right?
- 1:40Brian McFadden: Yes.
- 1:41Testecleese: So basically these.
- 1:42Brian McFadden: Trump supports them, not being replaced by machines too.
- 1:46Testecleese: I don't, man. That's like banning the Internet to save the libraries.
- 1:52Testecleese: You know, it's like, it's it's it's more efficient. It costs less. It's faster.
- 1:58Testecleese: But I mean, I get these guys don't want to lose their jobs. And then they want a pay raise on top of job security.
- 2:05Testecleese: Oh, man, like a
- 2:07Testecleese: times change cost China far less to unload a ship than it does us, and they do it quicker and less mistakes.
- 2:15Testecleese: Oh, well.
- 2:16Brian McFadden: Yeah. Most of the ports overseas are already pretty much fully automated.
- 2:21Testecleese: Yeah, well, we'll see how that plays out.
- 2:25Testecleese: eventually. They're all gonna lose their jobs, anyway, to machines. Most of
- 2:29Testecleese: work in general will eventually. So this is what's crazy, too, though it's like your Socialists and Communists.
- 2:35Testecleese: This is what they want, but then they won't let it happen.
- 2:38Brian McFadden: Right.
- 2:40Testecleese: Alright. Okay, no. They just want to be entitled to these people's labor instead of the, you know.
- 2:45Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 2:46Testecleese: Are you familiar with Jim Gaffigan, the comedian.
- 2:48Brian McFadden: I am.
- 2:51Testecleese: We talked about him before getting all
- 2:53Testecleese: pissy about Trump, and talking a lot of shit about trump supporters.
- 2:58Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 2:59Testecleese: And then he came out. And he's like, Yeah, maybe I was wrong. And now.
- 3:02Brian McFadden: Because he's gotten a lot of people saying, Well, I'm not going any more. Your shows. I'm not supporting your comedy anymore, you know. So I mean
- 3:11Brian McFadden: they're entitled to their opinion. But if they want to keep earning money from both sides of the fence, maybe they should stay out of politics. That's kind of how I feel about it.
- 3:22Testecleese: Yeah. Or if you're gonna make jokes about
- 3:25Testecleese: jokes is one thing, I suppose calling people morons and idiots is another.
- 3:30Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 3:30Testecleese: And now he's coming on. It's like, Oh, well, you know, a lot of these people took it as personal offense, like you call them fucking morons. Dude.
- 3:37Brian McFadden: Exactly.
- 3:39Testecleese: And now he's worried that they're never going to forgive him. And that's not what he meant at all. I was like, no, that's exactly what you meant.
- 3:43Brian McFadden: I don't think he cares if they forgive him or not. He just wants them to buy his albums and go to his shows and help pay him to pay his bills. You know.
- 3:52Testecleese: Yeah, he just did a Netflix one, I think.
- 3:56Brian McFadden: I haven't. I haven't followed his work much.
- 3:59Testecleese: Over the last couple of years in.
- 4:01Brian McFadden: No, I kind of I kind of got. I moved away from it, too, you know, so.
- 4:04Testecleese: Yeah, like in the nineties. I was following his stuff because he was funny. But I was like, it's just. It's the same, not the same jokes, but it's the same style of jokes. You know what I mean.
- 4:14Testecleese: Anyway.
- 4:16Testecleese: Johnson won the house.
- 4:19Brian McFadden: Yup.
- 4:19Brian McFadden: I think his, the trump endorsement probably helped him with get it done so quickly.
- 4:26Testecleese: I don't particularly like Speaker Mike Johnson, but you know.
- 4:30Brian McFadden: Well, I kind of I'm not. He's not the greatest in the world, but compared to previous House Speakers of the Republicans have put up as of late, like Paul Ryan, and people like that. You know, he's
- 4:42Brian McFadden: been fair and balanced for the most part, you know, he tries to get shit done.
- 4:49Testecleese: Was Paul Ryan, the one that what's his name there?
- 4:55Testecleese: The Republican from Crap Matt Gaetz is Ryan. The one gates got ousted.
- 5:01Brian McFadden: No, that he was. That was the one that was the guy from California.
- 5:08Testecleese: Okay. Okay.
- 5:10Brian McFadden: Paul Ryan was way back, you know, and he was from like Wisconsin, or something like that, and.
- 5:15Testecleese: Yeah, I could see the picture. I could see Paul Ryan in my face, too.
- 5:20Brian McFadden: Yeah, but when he got elected he pretty much turned into your your world famous rhino.
- 5:26Brian McFadden: Mike Johnson, I don't view as a rhino, so he's got his flaws, you know. He's got it, you know, but he's got such a narrow majority to work with, you know. It's like herding cats, you know he's got to have so many people in line to get anything past and get anything through.
- 5:43Brian McFadden: and we all know how it is to herd cats.
- 5:47Testecleese: Well, yeah, I mean, that's it's almost as tough as getting Republicans to agree on something.
- 5:51Brian McFadden: Exactly.
- 5:52Testecleese: They don't, because that party is
- 5:54Testecleese: very divided, whereas Democrats march in lockstep.
- 5:59Brian McFadden: Well, they're becoming more divided, too. So.
- 6:02Testecleese: They are, and this is not. They have to, though, like they can't possibly pander to the far left. And your more centrist voters. You know what I mean.
- 6:09Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 6:11Testecleese: Alright.
- 6:12Testecleese: So what's up with this New York thing with was it Marshawn margin.
- 6:17Brian McFadden: Yeah, yeah, he's bound to determine that he's gonna keep his name in the highlights. And he's already came out and said that the sentencing will be on January 10.th
- 6:29Brian McFadden: And he's already hinted that there'll be no jail time in it, and there'll be no fines either.
- 6:36Brian McFadden: so no penalties with that.
- 6:38Testecleese: Conviction, sticks.
- 6:39Brian McFadden: Right, so he will be a convicted felon. He'll be the 1st President that's been a convicted felon, but
- 6:47Brian McFadden: you know, but it also allows trump to keep appealing it.
- 6:51Testecleese: This is on the 10.th
- 6:53Testecleese: Yes, next Friday. Is it that usually when the President takes office.
- 6:56Brian McFadden: No, the 20.th
- 6:58Testecleese: 20th My Mistake.
- 6:59Brian McFadden: And they told him he told him that trump has the option to appear either virtually or in person, so.
- 7:06Testecleese: Yeah, exactly. This is just so that they could say that he's convicted felon, even though no penalty was dished out at all.
- 7:13Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 7:14Testecleese: All right. Well, Jimmy Carter died, and people made a big deal, which yeah, I mean, former president 100 years old.
- 7:22Brian McFadden: He was a better humanitarian after he got out of office than he was the actual President.
- 7:28Testecleese: Oh, yeah. Habitats for humanity. Right?
- 7:31Brian McFadden: Yup.
- 7:31Testecleese: Exactly he was. He did way more after the fact.
- 7:35Testecleese: and I don't know, man, would you? Would you say he was a worse president than Biden.
- 7:39Brian McFadden: No.
- 7:41Testecleese: Aren't we.
- 7:42Brian McFadden: Biden. I would say Carter was the worst president that I can remember, because I do remember Jimmy Carter as president. Vaguely, you know. I remember he was the guy that putting gas ration in place you had to. You can only get gas every other day. Depend on your license plate.
- 7:58Brian McFadden: He also did a big spiel from the oval office wearing a sweater, and told everybody to turn up their thermostats to save energy.
- 8:08Testecleese: Yeah, so.
- 8:10Brian McFadden: He was the worst president for quite a while, until Joe Biden came along. And now Joe Biden's taken that title.
- 8:19Testecleese: That's quite true. Actually, we've discussed this with different polls that have come out several times.
- 8:27Testecleese: and I don't know who this Vivek Murphy, Guy is.
- 8:30Brian McFadden: That's new Surgeon General. That's Biden's surgeon, General. Sorry that they got rid of the you know
- 8:36Brian McFadden: the apparently they got rid of the female admiral. That's not a male somewhere along line.
- 8:43Testecleese: I want to say, Rachel Levine, is it.
- 8:45Brian McFadden: Yeah, yeah, that's it.
- 8:48Testecleese: That's I remember thinking that the whole time I was like.
- 8:51Testecleese: This is the person who's making health decisions for us, and.
- 8:53Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 8:54Testecleese: That he's a woman.
- 8:55Brian McFadden: Yeah, it's like, Hey.
- 8:57Testecleese: I understand that things happen order.
- 8:59Testecleese: But that's not my problem. Okay.
- 9:02Brian McFadden: But now they're coming out saying that you know they want to put health warning on labels on alcohol because it causes cancer.
- 9:11Testecleese: Yeah, and actually funny, but not funny. I was on my. I made a drive yesterday.
- 9:15Testecleese: and the news thing came up on the radio, and it talked about this especially, and then I got home, and you had already shared it to the the
- 9:23Testecleese: messenger thing I was like, oh, all right.
- 9:26Testecleese: colon, rectal cancer, stomach, cancer, throat, cancer mouth. More than I would have thought when I think cancer from booze, I think cirrhosis.
- 9:36Testecleese: You know your liver gets jacked up. I don't have.
- 9:40Testecleese: I don't have a big problem with the cancer warning on booze as long as it doesn't cost it cost more.
- 9:45Brian McFadden: Well, that'll be the next thing. They'll start taxing it more like they did with cigarettes.
- 9:49Testecleese: Oh, well, fuck you, I'll start making my own booze.
- 9:55Testecleese: Yeah, making your own booze. Never taste quite as good, though, doesn't.
- 9:58Brian McFadden: No.
- 10:01Testecleese: Are you familiar with Whitney Cummings?
- 10:03Brian McFadden: No.
- 10:04Testecleese: She is a sitcom writer. She's been in a handful of different things here and there.
- 10:10Testecleese: She's actually doing the game show for the TV show friends like the friends, fanatics, or whatever.
- 10:15Brian McFadden: Okay, that doesn't help any.
- 10:18Testecleese: It did. The wife watched like the 1st 3 episodes like, Are you kidding me? This is the dumbest thing I've seen in my entire life.
- 10:24Brian McFadden: It's on Netflix.
- 10:26Testecleese: I think so.
- 10:27Brian McFadden: Logo.
- 10:29Testecleese: Well, she was doing the New Year thing with Cnn.
- 10:34Testecleese: And oh, my goodness! She ripped the entire year pot, especially the Democrats.
- 10:40Testecleese: How the party of democracy didn't get a oh, no, the party of choice didn't get a choice on the nominee because they were too busy.
- 10:48Testecleese: they couldn't support democracy because they're too busy supporting a dead body.
- 10:54Brian McFadden: No.
- 10:54Testecleese: Just all sorts of jokes like that about, you know.
- 10:57Testecleese: Biden and Covid and everything else.
- 11:01Testecleese: Wow!
- 11:02Testecleese: I thought it was kind of funny
- 11:04Testecleese: she was concerned about getting booted off the air.
- 11:08Brian McFadden: I would be, too, if I was talking like that on Cnn.
- 11:11Testecleese: Yeah, exactly. Yeah. The one guy with them with them said was laughing the whole time. And Anderson Cooper, just like all quiet. And it's like, I don't think this is very funny.
- 11:22Brian McFadden: Their coobers wasn't drunk yet.
- 11:25Testecleese: Well, midnight he probably was. That might have been
- 11:27Testecleese: why he was quiet because he couldn't come up with anything funny, after all that.
- 11:32Testecleese: Okay, did you see this shit about this judge in Georgia?
- 11:36Brian McFadden: Yeah, yeah.
- 11:38Testecleese: Dude like. Got voted out of office, I guess, and on his final day in office shot himself in the head.
- 11:44Brian McFadden: I don't think getting voted office is a reason to commit suicide.
- 11:50Testecleese: No, and Dude's got like kids and everything.
- 11:54Testecleese: Well, inside the courtroom last week.
- 11:59Testecleese: after losing a bid for election, he was found by a deputy on what would have been his last day on the bench in Effingham County State Court on Tuesday morning
- 12:08Testecleese: if I'm at 10 Am.
- 12:11Testecleese: Yeah. He apparently tried to resign his position after losing the election, but they wouldn't let him.
- 12:18Testecleese: which seems a little strange. But all right.
- 12:22Testecleese: and Harris swore in the new Senate.
- 12:27Brian McFadden: Oh, yeah, let me get this up. I want to play it.
- 12:29Testecleese: Of course you want to play that because I got a good giggle out of it. This sums up her political career, doesn't it?
- 12:35Brian McFadden: Pretty much.
- 12:37Testecleese: Don't forget you gotta do the sharing, too.
- 12:39Brian McFadden: Yeah, yeah, I'm working on it.
- 12:41Testecleese: I would, but I have to keep adjusting my sound output for this to
- 12:46Testecleese: for anyone else, be able to hear what I play, for some reason
- 12:53Testecleese: join me in pledging allegiance to our flag.
- 13:00Testecleese: to pledge allegiance to the United States of America, and to the
- 13:07Testecleese: I pledge allegiance to the United States and the United States of America
- 13:15Testecleese: stick right there. Huh?
- 13:16Brian McFadden: Yeah. She obviously doesn't do the pledge very often.
- 13:20Testecleese: When was the last time you did the pledge? But you still wouldn't, jack it up, would you?
- 13:23Brian McFadden: No, I do it every month. I do it at the Vfw. Post for their meetings.
- 13:28Testecleese: All right.
- 13:29Testecleese: most adults don't. But I mean she actually works in Congress or not, not Congress in government, you know.
- 13:38Testecleese: Well, meanwhile, speaking of elections and such.
- 13:41Testecleese: Here in West Virginia. More than half of the counties are getting a new sheriff.
- 13:46Brian McFadden: Wow!
- 13:47Testecleese: Yeah.
- 13:48Brian McFadden: A lot.
- 13:49Testecleese: Fentanyl is out of control, and they want something done about it.
- 13:56Testecleese: I'm doing my damnedest to not bring up like the really the same stories every time, because it's always
- 14:01Testecleese: someone was doing crazy drugs and shot somebody
- 14:06Testecleese: with that a couple of times. And I was like, Oh, let's find something else to talk about.
- 14:10Testecleese: But yeah. So they're replacing at least half of the sheriffs, which is real impressive.
- 14:16Testecleese: And we are dealing with the same winter storm, warning that you are over in Virginia.
- 14:21Brian McFadden: Yeah, the yours is actually real.
- 14:23Testecleese: Yes, I have.
- 14:25Testecleese: I have a signature significant amount of snow already used. A snowblower twice since the snow started falling.
- 14:32Testecleese: spun out, got stuck sideways on a mountain road for about 4 min.
- 14:36Brian McFadden: Better get a 4 wheel, drive van.
- 14:38Testecleese: I got the 4 wheel drive pickup truck. That's how I managed to get back on the road.
- 14:42Brian McFadden: Did you? Have you put some sandbags in the back of it, Kitty? Litter bags.
- 14:48Testecleese: Sandbags or litter bags, but I have 50 pound sacks of deer feed sitting on my rear axle.
- 14:57Brian McFadden: Okay.
- 14:58Testecleese: Wow! Oh, we like to feed the deer, anyway, you know. Look out the window seat and walk across the yard.
- 15:04Testecleese: and then, you know it also is extra weight on your rear axle.
- 15:08Brian McFadden: Yeah, exactly.
- 15:08Testecleese: Truck around.
- 15:10Testecleese: So I guess you guys got a state of emergency.
- 15:13Brian McFadden: Yeah, the Governor declared. A state of emergency, because I mean, obviously further up towards Richmond, they're actually gonna see actual snow.
- 15:22Testecleese: Or way out west in the Appalachian mountains.
- 15:25Brian McFadden: Yeah, people don't realize how far out Virginia goes. You know.
- 15:30Testecleese: Yeah, and you guys had another shooting in a bar.
- 15:36Brian McFadden: Yep in downtown. Hampton, a few weeks ago. This 26 year old, got shot after an argument.
- 15:44Brian McFadden: and died
- 15:46Brian McFadden: shortly thereafter at the hospital, and they found this other 20, some year old kid that did the shooting, and has been accused of doing the shooting and been arrested for it. So.
- 15:57Testecleese: He's loose, didn't we? Just last week I brought up how we had a guy who got arrested for popping off 2 rounds in a bar, didn't I.
- 16:04Brian McFadden: You might have, I don't remember, but.
- 16:06Testecleese: The local news here.
- 16:10Testecleese: And Jesus. I saw this all over the news. The FBI picked up its biggest homemade explosives cache ever in.
- 16:17Brian McFadden: In right across the Jings River Bridge, in Isle of White County.
- 16:22Testecleese: Yeah, that's right near Norfolk, isn't it?
- 16:24Brian McFadden: Yep.
- 16:25Brian McFadden: Right near Newport. News.
- 16:28Testecleese: Hundreds of explosives, and I guess the guy had a picture of Joe Biden who's using his target practice on his own land.
- 16:35Brian McFadden: That's illegal.
- 16:37Testecleese: No, it doesn't help when it comes to motto.
- 16:40Brian McFadden: Okay.
- 16:41Testecleese: Why would you do that, though? You're just begging to get in trouble for something stupid
- 16:47Testecleese: not like that picture's gonna get. I don't know.
- 16:50Brian McFadden: Well, we got pictures of Jane Fond in the Urinals at the Vfw.
- 16:55Testecleese: Well, yeah, but that's you're not actually killing her, you just peeing on her face.
- 17:01Testecleese: That was all because of Vietnam. Right.
- 17:02Brian McFadden: Yeah, yeah.
- 17:04Testecleese: She went to like basically a Protemkin village, and she's like
- 17:07Testecleese: it was not that bad. I don't know what they're complaining about. It's like what the fuck.
- 17:11Brian McFadden: You went one place, and then you
- 17:13Brian McFadden: you came back and protested. The war, you know.
- 17:16Testecleese: Yeah. Oh, it's 1 thing to protest. The war is another thing to say. It's not that bad. If it's not that bad.
- 17:22Brian McFadden: Right.
- 17:23Testecleese: Jane Fonda.
- 17:26Testecleese: There was a shooting in a New York city. Deli alright.
- 17:35Testecleese: The the jackass targets that were being shot at were
- 17:42Testecleese: cowards is the best way, I guess, to put it. They used a mother and a child as human shields.
- 17:48Brian McFadden: Wow!
- 17:49Testecleese: Yeah. The mother, both of both the mother and the kid got the daughter got shot.
- 17:57Testecleese: Pretty pretty fucked up. I didn't see too much about who these people were.
- 18:02Testecleese: I don't know if it was gang violence, or what
- 18:05Testecleese: sounded like it the way it went down.
- 18:07Testecleese: you know, kind of spraying bullets into a a Deli.
- 18:13Testecleese: Alright!
- 18:14Testecleese: Now, this next one we got here, Brian, we we can discuss, but we can't give too many details.
- 18:22Testecleese: Because we do know someone somewhat involved in this.
- 18:25Testecleese: But like Barlow County.
- 18:30Testecleese: Dude went nuts and tried to kill what his ex-wife, or whatever, and her new husband, with a machete.
- 18:37Brian McFadden: Yep, machete's an interesting choice of weapon.
- 18:42Testecleese: Yeah.
- 18:44Testecleese: Well, Dude, cut someone in the face with a machete
- 18:48Testecleese: and then got shot. What? 5 times, and it's still alive.
- 18:54Brian McFadden: Several times.
- 18:55Brian McFadden: No, it's very the victim defended himself, and shot the ex-husband several times.
- 19:02Brian McFadden: They're waiting. He's in. He had surgery, and the sheriff's office is waiting to see what happens. So.
- 19:09Brian McFadden: man, if the person lives after being shot 5 times, the other person is a very bad shot.
- 19:18Testecleese: Yeah, probably you're a but that's just crazy man like I can't imagine.
- 19:21Brian McFadden: It is.
- 19:23Testecleese: Going nuts with a machete on people.
- 19:26Testecleese: And you know you get hit in the face with a machete. You're gonna have a scar.
- 19:29Brian McFadden: Yeah, a big one.
- 19:33Testecleese: I'm gonna go and numb up my horrific tooth pain because a the novocaine is wearing off.
- 19:40Testecleese: not from the dentist, but like Origel.
- 19:43Brian McFadden: So.
- 19:43Testecleese: I'll be right back.
- 19:45Testecleese: I won't be too long.
- 19:47Brian McFadden: All right.
- 19:48Testecleese: This next one has something to do with that woman that was in the New York subway that was lit on fire.
- 19:51Brian McFadden: Right. Yeah, the you know.
- 19:55Brian McFadden: This woman was burned to death
- 19:57Brian McFadden: when somebody sprayed her with some kind of accelerant, and then lit her on fire. She was sleeping on the subway.
- 20:07Brian McFadden: It's believed that she was homeless, and that was kind of where she was living at the time.
- 20:13Brian McFadden: and you know, nobody really tried to do anything to
- 20:20Brian McFadden: to stop the burning or anything. She basically went up in a ball of flames. And
- 20:26Brian McFadden: the police actually didn't do a very good job either, at first, st because they let the person that set her on fire
- 20:33Brian McFadden: out of the train stations, you know, when they were evacuating everybody.
- 20:39Brian McFadden: but but they have found they have arrested a surprise, surprise, an illegal immigrant, with the charge
- 20:50Brian McFadden: of setting her on fire. It took him days to identify who it was.
- 20:56Brian McFadden: which is kind of sad, because that just shows you that
- 21:00Brian McFadden: obviously that she was a homeless person because nobody noticed she was missing for quite a while.
- 21:07Brian McFadden: and that, you know, and because of that
- 21:14Brian McFadden: the Guardian angels have decided to resume patrols on New York City subways since 20, for the 1st time since 2020. After this.
- 21:23Testecleese: I didn't realize they were so active in 2020. I thought they had stopped decades ago.
- 21:30Brian McFadden: Well, the the leader of the Guardian angels actually
- 21:36Brian McFadden: is on Wabc. He's got a radio show on Wabc.
- 21:41Testecleese: Oh, I didn't realize that.
- 21:43Testecleese: No, this next one's not supposed to be there. But that's all right.
- 21:49Testecleese: Well.
- 21:50Brian McFadden: Well, we have some. Go ahead.
- 21:53Testecleese: Well, jeez, what was I gonna say? Oh, biden
- 21:59Testecleese: while we're talking about terrorism, he's saying that Isis threat has not been an issue
- 22:06Testecleese: in the United States. White supremacy is the big issue.
- 22:10Brian McFadden: And then this happens.
- 22:12Testecleese: And then blur.
- 22:12Brian McFadden: Also freaking out about the way his face looked during this.
- 22:17Testecleese: Yeah, I don't know why that was here. I
- 22:20Testecleese: normally I meant to put that under. Go, Joe, but that's all right.
- 22:24Testecleese: Yeah. He had bruises on his hand when he made this announcement, and A cut on his lip
- 22:30Testecleese: looked like a nasty scar. Maybe it was his body double. I don't know.
- 22:34Testecleese: but I keep saying that white supremacy is the biggest threat. Meanwhile Guy with an Isis flag
- 22:41Testecleese: drove through and killed at least 15. I heard as many as 20 already in Louisiana, New Orlean.
- 22:47Brian McFadden: And he was ex us army green beret.
- 22:51Testecleese: Yes, what's even crazier is this guy served on the same base as the Tesla truck driver.
- 22:57Brian McFadden: Yeah. But a lot of people
- 22:59Brian McFadden: serve on Fort Bragg. It's a huge base with a lot.
- 23:02Testecleese: Yes.
- 23:03Brian McFadden: Facilities.
- 23:04Testecleese: Yes, that's like saying, you know. Oh, they were both at Norfolk, Virginia. It's like, yeah, but they were on different ships, you know.
- 23:09Brian McFadden: Yeah, well.
- 23:11Testecleese: Exactly.
- 23:12Testecleese: Yeah.
- 23:13Testecleese: But yeah, this guy had an Isis flag in his truck.
- 23:16Testecleese: had a whole bunch of homemade explosives.
- 23:21Brian McFadden: And apparently they were getting ready to replace the barricades on Bourbon Street like in the next few days
- 23:28Brian McFadden: this guy drove up on the sidewalk and around a police car to get into the the revelers.
- 23:35Brian McFadden: And this is Bourbon Street. Have you been to Bourbon Street?
- 23:38Testecleese: I've never been to Louisiana.
- 23:40Brian McFadden: Okay, I have been to Bourbon Street and
- 23:44Brian McFadden: that place. It's basically one of the few areas in the country where you can walk around with those.
- 23:50Testecleese: Yeah, you can walk around an open container.
- 23:51Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 23:52Brian McFadden: so there, it's always a party there. There's always people out and about. Some of the bars are open 24 h.
- 23:59Testecleese: That's where Mardi Gras happens right.
- 24:01Brian McFadden: Yup, exactly where Mardi Gras happens. Yeah.
- 24:03Testecleese: Yeah, that's that's a big party.
- 24:07Testecleese: Yeah, Jesus Christ man. And then within a couple of hours, Biden's out there saying, Happy New Year. I don't know if he was.
- 24:13Brian McFadden: Didn't even know about it. I don't think by then.
- 24:15Testecleese: You think they would have informed him before you went out to speak to the population? You know what I mean.
- 24:20Brian McFadden: Well, who knows if he even sent the Happy New Year Tweet out that could have been one of his handlers doing it? You know.
- 24:26Testecleese: That's a good point.
- 24:28Brian McFadden: But yeah, it's pretty insensitive that that Tweet goes out before.
- 24:34Brian McFadden: I don't even know. What do they call the tweets on X.
- 24:37Testecleese: That's a good question.
- 24:38Brian McFadden: They're not called Tweets.
- 24:40Testecleese: I have no idea posts. It's good enough for me.
- 24:43Brian McFadden: Okay. Well, the post on X,
- 24:45Brian McFadden: you know, should have started out with recognition of that happening
- 24:50Brian McFadden: before the Happy New Year text went out.
- 24:53Testecleese: Hmm.
- 24:55Testecleese: and apparently I guess there was a video showing people pointing 4 different explosives in the area. But they're saying, somehow they're saying, it's not related to the truck driver, though.
- 25:06Brian McFadden: Not just.
- 25:06Testecleese: So that.
- 25:08Brian McFadden: Sounds like a coordinated attack to me, you know, if randomly, when there's a truck.
- 25:13Brian McFadden: the guys showing up the drive through the crowd of people, and then the other devices are being placed in place. You know.
- 25:20Testecleese: Yeah. It sounds like that was done together on purpose. Exactly.
- 25:22Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 25:24Testecleese: And well, the Biden's team of crackpot investigators trying to find yeah, trying to find there's a link between the guy in New Orleans and the Cybertruck guy.
- 25:35Testecleese: Who where was that in Vegas who tried to blow up a Cybertruck
- 25:40Testecleese: in front of Trump Tower, which I I see the message there biden trump and musk right.
- 25:48Brian McFadden: Yeah, and.
- 25:52Testecleese: Surprise.
- 25:52Brian McFadden: Surprise.
- 25:54Brian McFadden: Elon Musk proved how much information is available in those Tesla vehicles, because he released all the data to the FBI. Immediately.
- 26:06Testecleese: What data I got like where it had been and all that kind of stuff. Yeah.
- 26:11Brian McFadden: The word charging station at type deal.
- 26:15Testecleese: The thing is, this guy was an explosive effort expert in the army.
- 26:20Testecleese: and he made homemade explosives that were mostly fireworks.
- 26:27Testecleese: Okay.
- 26:28Brian McFadden: Is this?
- 26:29Testecleese: No worries.
- 26:29Brian McFadden: Jeans or Texas or Vegas. Okay? Vegas, okay.
- 26:33Testecleese: Vegas, and he shot himself in the head before the detonation occurred.
- 26:37Brian McFadden: Well, they're saying that there was he was wife was leaving him because he cheated on her, or something.
- 26:43Testecleese: So he takes it on.
- 26:45Brian McFadden: Las Vegas!
- 26:46Brian McFadden: Cheers.
- 26:47Testecleese: Interesting because he's he had a mess note in there, or whatever that said, this is a wake up call
- 26:54Testecleese: But the the Tesla truck is made out of stainless steel. It's not the strongest deal on the planet.
- 27:00Brian McFadden: No.
- 27:01Testecleese: But it's it's strong and flexible. So it absorbed almost the entire blast. All it really did was burn this guy beyond recognition and injure a couple people
- 27:11Testecleese: which good for us.
- 27:14Testecleese: Musk said. He's going to restore the Tesla truck and get it back on the road.
- 27:22Testecleese: Not a big fan of the Cybertruck, but I will say.
- 27:24Brian McFadden: They're ugly.
- 27:25Brian McFadden: They don't even look like a truck.
- 27:27Testecleese: No, the the best advantage it has is a massive battery that you can power tons of stuff on for a long time.
- 27:33Brian McFadden: Where is the actual bed that you can haul shit in? That's what it is. A truck.
- 27:39Testecleese: Well, I suppose you open the backup, and there's some storage room, and then you you have to hook up a trailer and all sorts of other stuff.
- 27:44Brian McFadden: That's not a truck.
- 27:46Testecleese: I don't disagree, and they're super expensive.
- 27:51Testecleese: But yeah, guy's name is Matthew Allen. Levels. Burger.
- 27:56Brian McFadden: And both these people rented their vehicles through. That.
- 28:01Brian McFadden: the online thing where you rent your car to people type deal.
- 28:07Testecleese: Oh, okay.
- 28:09Brian McFadden: I can't.
- 28:09Testecleese: Oh!
- 28:09Brian McFadden: It is now but.
- 28:11Testecleese: But that's.
- 28:11Brian McFadden: Started with a T.
- 28:12Testecleese: You're not getting your vehicle back.
- 28:15Brian McFadden: No insurance might cover it, not cover it either.
- 28:19Testecleese: And the guy left 2 letters, he said. It's not a terror attack, but rather a wake-up call.
- 28:24Testecleese: saying, Americans only pay attention to spectacles and violence, and fireworks and explosives.
- 28:28Brian McFadden: Unfortunately, that's pretty much right.
- 28:31Brian McFadden: I agree with that.
- 28:33Testecleese: Well, in a second letter he said, that the
- 28:36Testecleese: the police believe. See, this is what gets me is they? They say that they believe he wrote. This?
- 28:41Testecleese: Did he? Did he or not.
- 28:42Testecleese: but it called for action to remove the Democrats from both the Federal Government and the military.
- 28:47Testecleese: Oh.
- 28:49Testecleese: and it also included the possibility of occupying roads and Federal buildings ruling, not ruling out the use of force.
- 28:56Testecleese: so that that sounds like a terror attack to me.
- 29:01Brian McFadden: Serious than the January 6 people, that's for sure.
- 29:05Testecleese: Yeah, the guy actually said, this is what I'm gonna do. Or this is what I want to happen. And it wasn't to make a change in government.
- 29:12Testecleese: I don't follow a whole lot of Msnbc.
- 29:15Brian McFadden: No, really don't know who Lawrence O'donnell is.
- 29:20Testecleese: It's exactly what I was gonna ask. You don't know who this person is, basically said that us military
- 29:29Testecleese: are more
- 29:32Testecleese: terrorists than you get from these illegal migrants, or they're more dangerous. The army is more dangerous.
- 29:39Testecleese: I was like, well, yeah.
- 29:39Brian McFadden: I don't think there you go generalizing the military, you know. You're gonna lump a few bad apples into the whole pot.
- 29:50Testecleese: And these guys are trained for this stuff
- 29:53Testecleese: and that they they handle pressure differently.
- 29:58Testecleese: So I mean, your martial artist is gonna be able to kick someone's ass better than the freaking
- 30:04Testecleese: guy who does pull ups. You know what I mean.
- 30:08Testecleese: But yeah, he's pissed off a lot of people by saying that comparing the veterans didn't. Was it Pelosi that said, all veterans are mentally ill?
- 30:17Testecleese: What was that.
- 30:18Brian McFadden: So.
- 30:19Testecleese: Somebody did.
- 30:20Testecleese: I remember that was a while ago, too, like we shouldn't be allowed to own guns, because they're all mentally ill.
- 30:29Testecleese: Alright. Well on the topic of army and military. Our military appeals court
- 30:35Testecleese: says that we cannot revoke these plea deals from the Guantanamo terrorists.
- 30:42Testecleese: for the architect of the 9 11 attack.
- 30:45Brian McFadden: This is a plea deal that some stupid.
- 30:49Brian McFadden: the lawyers down there for both the army or Dod and the and their attorneys agreed to.
- 31:02Testecleese: Oh, God!
- 31:04Brian McFadden: And I don't think that the Biden Administration was kept in the loop. What was going on, so they found out about it after the fact, and knew how bad it looked.
- 31:14Brian McFadden: Optically wise, you know, and tried to stop it.
- 31:19Testecleese: Yeah.
- 31:20Testecleese: But I mean then all the pardons happened anyway, what difference does it make? Right.
- 31:24Brian McFadden: Well, they're not getting pardoned, but they took life.
- 31:27Brian McFadden: the execution off the table. And most of these people are going back to. I think, Guatemala, you know they're going back to their home countries that being put in prison.
- 31:37Testecleese: Something.
- 31:38Brian McFadden: But there's no guarantee. Once they're out of the Us. Jurisdiction of Gitmo that they're going to stay in prison in those other countries.
- 31:46Testecleese: No, exactly. And I mean, if you orchestrated the 9 11 attacks, perhaps that is, if anytime the United States is going to use the death penalty. Maybe that should be it.
- 31:58Testecleese: I mean, we're still gonna.
- 31:59Brian McFadden: Amazing.
- 31:59Testecleese: To execute the ball.
- 32:00Brian McFadden: They have spent the last 25 years of their life in Gitmo. So.
- 32:06Testecleese: Yeah, so.
- 32:09Brian McFadden: I'm just saying I'm not saying it's a good thing or a bad thing. I'm just saying that
- 32:13Brian McFadden: I'd rather see him serve out their life sentences in Diego Garcia, not Diego Garcia in Gutamo Bay than in their home countries. This is just. This is a further even. I don't even know that the Biden Administration necessarily disagrees with this, because if they're sticking with the Obama plan of trying to close Gitmo down, this just works more in that favor. There's less prisoners down there, and it's harder to justify keeping the place open with fewer and fewer people in there.
- 32:44Testecleese: And if you transfer them to the United States, or any jurisdiction thereof, that's actual
- 32:50Testecleese: American. They have all sorts of rights all of a sudden.
- 32:54Brian McFadden: Right.
- 32:54Testecleese: As prisoners, and they don't have those rights in Cuba
- 32:57Testecleese: which confused me a little. Because isn't Guantanamo Bay a military base.
- 33:01Brian McFadden: Yes.
- 33:02Testecleese: So doesn't that count as American soil.
- 33:04Brian McFadden: No.
- 33:05Testecleese: I could have sworn it did whatever.
- 33:09Testecleese: and looks like. Biden's been discussing plans to strike Irani on nuclear sites before Trump's inauguration.
- 33:16Testecleese: He's concerned that they might be getting close to building a nuclear weapon. And isn't this
- 33:21Testecleese: the exact argument that everyone brought up when Obama signed the nuclear deal? In the 1st place.
- 33:28Testecleese: That these guys are just going to build. They're refining uranium to build a bomb, not a reactor.
- 33:33Testecleese: We were called nut jobs. Anyone who said what the hell was called nut jobs.
- 33:38Testecleese: And now, all of a sudden, buying's like, Oh, crap! They're building nukes alright! Just
- 33:45Testecleese: some of the time, man. You bring this stuff up and like, Oh, that was 30 years ago. I was like, yeah. And the same stuff keeps happening.
- 33:52Testecleese: you know. Well, it wasn't 30 years ago but
- 33:55Testecleese: Jesus Christ, that was a long time, though
- 33:58Testecleese: it's just frustrating as hell, man. It's like this. Stuff's obvious. You point this stuff out to people. They tell you they have this normalcy bias. You know what I mean. It's like, oh, nothing's gonna change. Nothing ever changes.
- 34:11Brian McFadden: Except that the Biden Defense Department is going to send another multi 1 billion dollar aid package to Ukraine. Let me make a prediction here and now
- 34:21Brian McFadden: this will be the last.
- 34:23Brian McFadden: Aipac is Ukraine ever from the US.
- 34:27Testecleese: Ever.
- 34:29Testecleese: That's a long.
- 34:30Brian McFadden: Trump's well while Trump's president. How about that?
- 34:34Testecleese: Maybe it's entirely possible. He's also
- 34:37Testecleese: signing paperwork right now to send money to Israel.
- 34:41Brian McFadden: Because he had to, because he was looking bad because he was delaying Israel money, but kept
- 34:47Brian McFadden: breaking the bank on Ukraine.
- 34:50Testecleese: Yeah, I don't think we should be given either one of them all this money to fight a war.
- 34:54Testecleese: you know. I mean.
- 34:56Brian McFadden: Well, if I between the 2, I'd rather give it to Israel if I had a pick.
- 35:02Testecleese: If for no, no reason other than we've given more money to Ukraine in the last couple of years, and we have to Israel since it was founded as a nation.
- 35:13Testecleese: you know, like.
- 35:15Testecleese: But even so, how long are we supposed to support Israel or Ukraine?
- 35:21Testecleese: All right.
- 35:21Testecleese: Meanwhile Ukraine just did a 300 prisoner exchange with Russia.
- 35:30Testecleese: I guess that's a good thing that there's still a little civility to do, you know. Get your pows back.
- 35:34Brian McFadden: Yep.
- 35:37Testecleese: Oh, no!
- 35:38Testecleese: But Ukraine apparently just fired well.
- 35:43Testecleese: Russia fired down 8. Us. Made attacka missiles that were going for deep inland Russia, and a whole bunch of drones.
- 35:52Testecleese: and has put out a warning that
- 35:56Testecleese: if you know Russian homeland is attacked again, they're going to retaliate against the nations that made and supplied these weapons
- 36:04Testecleese: so.
- 36:06Brian McFadden: I also, I mean, we gotta make it another 16 days.
- 36:10Brian McFadden: The rules of engagement of Ukraine being able to use these drones is going to change as soon as Trump's president.
- 36:17Brian McFadden: It's gonna go back to where you can use them. In your country. You can't use them as often you can use them defensively, not offensive.
- 36:26Brian McFadden: I totally predict that.
- 36:28Testecleese: Yeah. Well, that's assuming that something doesn't happen between now and then.
- 36:32Brian McFadden: Right.
- 36:33Testecleese: Oh, I got a feeling you're right, though, is that
- 36:37Testecleese: Russia's at least gonna wait for Trump to take office and see if something changes before they get involved in a direct conflict with the Us.
- 36:44Brian McFadden: Right, right.
- 36:47Testecleese: But yeah, and Ukraine's claiming that they only did this attack on a mainland. Russia, because
- 36:53Testecleese: North Korea is helping them.
- 36:56Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 36:56Testecleese: Looks like the North Korean soldiers is getting in the way.
- 36:59Brian McFadden: Yeah, there's been a whole lot of friendly fire incidents happening with Ukraine.
- 37:03Brian McFadden: Yes, they're shooting more Russians than they are Ukrainians.
- 37:07Testecleese: Yeah. And they're apparently they're shooting themselves in the head before they're taking prisoner. It's like, Okay, well, you know, not all these nations aren't North Korea. They're not just gonna execute all their prison. Everyone.
- 37:18Brian McFadden: No, and it show. You know Russia and Ukraine just swap 300, you know. They.
- 37:23Testecleese: Yeah, we don't mind.
- 37:23Brian McFadden: Somebody's like Adam, you know.
- 37:25Testecleese: They're not going to torture and execute you so like. You don't have to kill yourself. You know what I mean.
- 37:31Testecleese: I suppose if they're taken prisoner and then released back to North Korea. They're probably going to be executed anyway. Huh?
- 37:37Testecleese: Alright, okay. So what's going on in Syria?
- 37:41Testecleese: Because Assad flew, fled to Russia.
- 37:45Testecleese: I guess he's been poisoned. But he's okay.
- 37:50Testecleese: But like, who's the official government in Syria right now?
- 37:53Brian McFadden: No, they got. The rebels have started a government. There's.
- 37:56Testecleese: And a half.
- 37:57Brian McFadden: Yeah, there's an actual government in Syria.
- 38:01Brian McFadden: Yep.
- 38:03Testecleese: That's gonna be a mess one way or the other, because.
- 38:05Brian McFadden: Oh, yeah.
- 38:07Testecleese: You don't have Russia or the United States getting involved in this conflict right now, over there.
- 38:11Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 38:14Testecleese: And Honduras.
- 38:16Testecleese: They have the 1st female president.
- 38:19Brian McFadden: And she's threatening to kick the United States military bases out if trump deports.
- 38:24Brian McFadden: Oh, we had military bases in Honduras.
- 38:28Testecleese: I didn't either, but I'm not surprised.
- 38:30Testecleese: But yeah.
- 38:35Brian McFadden: This is all a negotiating tactic.
- 38:38Brian McFadden: When Trump gets in office she'll negotiate
- 38:43Brian McFadden: more favorable terms. All these countries are going to take their people back. She's saying that because we're violating the asylum rules got bad news for.
- 38:53Testecleese: Nation.
- 38:54Brian McFadden: It's the 1st nation you come to. The United States is not the 1st nation. They're not a direct border of the United States.
- 39:03Testecleese: Nobody should be coming to the Us. For sanction for asylum. Because what?
- 39:08Testecleese: Okay, Canada? You flee in Mexico.
- 39:10Brian McFadden: Yeah, you could for the drug cartels.
- 39:13Testecleese: Are you racist.
- 39:14Brian McFadden: Drug cartels.
- 39:17Testecleese: Our Psyche.
- 39:18Testecleese: I keep hearing how great Mexico is. You're not allowed to say there's a mess down there.
- 39:23Brian McFadden: Well, there is.
- 39:24Testecleese: Yeah, well, I agree with you. But
- 39:27Testecleese: well, yeah, you're supposed to stop at the 1st safe nation.
- 39:29Brian McFadden: This is really, you know, she's trying to flex a little bit of power in the end. She'll take back the deportees, you know, in some form.
- 39:38Brian McFadden: you know, and the Us. Will probably give them more foreign aid in the process.
- 39:44Testecleese: Yeah. And it looks like Mexico might be taking deportees that aren't even Mexican.
- 39:49Brian McFadden: Oh, they're talking about bringing back the the remaining Mexico plan.
- 39:55Testecleese: Yeah. So you gotta stay there. And that's your problem.
- 39:59Testecleese: Well, it looks like Massachusetts is getting really slammed with these migrants.
- 40:05Testecleese: A guy was arrested recently with in a hotel that's being funded by the Massachusetts taxpayers with an AR 15 and a million dollars. Fentanyl.
- 40:15Brian McFadden: Then he doesn't need to be in a free hotel if he can afford an AR-fifteen and a million dollars worth of Fentanyl.
- 40:20Testecleese: I agree, a hundred percent AR 15 s. Are not cheap.
- 40:23Brian McFadden: No.
- 40:25Testecleese: Even a low end one you're gonna probably spend at least a grand.
- 40:29Brian McFadden: No, you can afford, with his 1 million dollars worth of Fentanyl.
- 40:32Testecleese: Exactly.
- 40:34Testecleese: and this is, I saw several articles about this, and they were all from the Boston Herald, and there were a handful of them that were opinion articles.
- 40:41Testecleese: Wow! Poof!
- 40:43Testecleese: And scaling reports of I wanna say, I wanna say, hoku, that's New York, isn't it?
- 40:48Brian McFadden: Yep. Yep.
- 40:51Testecleese: Oh, watching him. Who is the Mayor? I know that.
- 40:56Testecleese: anyway. Oh, yeah, this is in Revere, which doesn't mean much to you.
- 41:01Testecleese: Yeah, it's in a Boston suburb
- 41:05Testecleese: but this guy, the guy who's come out and said something. He's a Senator.
- 41:10Testecleese: he said. If there's anything I do to effectuate changes demanding that the documents in this case be made public. The guy's name is Senator Ryan, fat man.
- 41:19Brian McFadden: Yes.
- 41:21Testecleese: He's a Republican in Boston, and the public has a right to know what they're funding.
- 41:25Brian McFadden: A Republican in Boston?
- 41:28Brian McFadden: Is he the only one.
- 41:29Testecleese: Well, you get some of them.
- 41:31Testecleese: In the
- 41:34Testecleese: sometimes in the Senate or the Congress of the of the State. You know what I mean.
- 41:38Brian McFadden: Right, right.
- 41:39Testecleese: Because depending on what area you're actually representing.
- 41:45Testecleese: But jeez, Louise, yeah. And just last week she came out and said that we are not a sanctuary state. Bitch, you've been saying
- 41:52Testecleese: you are!
- 41:52Testecleese: You are.
- 41:54Brian McFadden: You got you. You're giving out mixed signals here one day you are the next day. You're not so.
- 41:59Testecleese: Exactly
- 42:02Testecleese: And realistically, why
- 42:05Testecleese: couldn't they? Just okay, they shouldn't cut funding to all these States. It drives me nuts that the Federal government is funding States for anything.
- 42:11Brian McFadden: Well, trump will try, but it won't. It won't actually happen.
- 42:15Testecleese: Why not?
- 42:16Brian McFadden: Deep state.
- 42:19Testecleese: Why is Massachusetts getting paid by the Federal Government?
- 42:23Brian McFadden: All these States are getting paid by the Federal Government to house these people.
- 42:27Testecleese: But where's this money coming from.
- 42:29Brian McFadden: From the deficit.
- 42:31Testecleese: So we're just printing money to house these people.
- 42:34Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 42:35Testecleese: Wonderful.
- 42:37Testecleese: And a poll just went out saying that 60% of Americans are opposed to more. h. 1 b visas.
- 42:44Brian McFadden: Well, these are actual visas that allow people to actually come here and work.
- 42:49Testecleese: Yeah, and we don't take their
- 42:52Testecleese: with brute force labor guys for h, 1 b visas.
- 42:55Brian McFadden: No, these are the the tech guys. You know, the skilled labor people.
- 43:01Testecleese: Yeah, leading the industry and innovation.
- 43:03Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 43:05Testecleese: I
- 43:07Testecleese: I'm pretty sure Elon Musk is against more h 1 b. Visas, too, and I disagree with him. I don't. I think we.
- 43:12Brian McFadden: I don't think he was.
- 43:14Testecleese: No, maybe maybe he took the other side.
- 43:16Brian McFadden: Trump's, I know for it.
- 43:18Testecleese: Yeah, I mean brain drain. Let's take all the talent from all over the world. Bring them here.
- 43:23Testecleese: and you know we'll get this place working well, and then we don't need to take all the riffraff we need to take the best and the brightest.
- 43:30Brian McFadden: Right.
- 43:34Testecleese: Well, ice is shutting down some of these programs that are offering services to these migrants
- 43:39Testecleese: for the illegal market.
- 43:40Brian McFadden: Now that trump's been reelected as President, and they know that one way or another, these programs are getting shut down on January 20.th
- 43:50Testecleese: Yeah, they're saying, it's the immense cost.
- 43:52Brian McFadden: Well that
- 43:54Brian McFadden: it was always that. But now that trump's coming, you know they know it ain't going to keep getting paid.
- 44:01Testecleese: Exactly.
- 44:02Testecleese: And these economists are.
- 44:10Testecleese: they're saying that these mass deportations will wreck the Mexican economy.
- 44:15Testecleese: How
- 44:17Testecleese: I thought these people were absolutely necessary to keep the economy working, and that's why we have to keep them here.
- 44:24Testecleese: How? How is sending these people back to Mexico, gonna wreck their economy.
- 44:29Testecleese: And if it is, then how come? It's not wrecking our economy.
- 44:33Brian McFadden: That is wrecking our economy.
- 44:35Testecleese: I know this is what I've been trying to say, and I would.
- 44:38Testecleese: you know, got these folks tell me that I'm an idiot, and I don't know what I'm talking about now.
- 44:41Brian McFadden: Obviously, we're gonna have to give Mexico more foreign aid, you know, to get this remain in Mexico program going again. Otherwise it will wreck their economy. But.
- 44:51Testecleese: How these people came from Mexico, supposedly right.
- 44:54Brian McFadden: No? Well for their asylum purposes. Yes, but all these people came from Central America.
- 45:02Brian McFadden: Russia, Ukraine. Everybody's trying to come through the Southern border to claim asylum.
- 45:06Testecleese: Open.
- 45:07Testecleese: Yeah, because it's as porous as a sponge.
- 45:10Brian McFadden: Well, the Canadian border is worse.
- 45:12Testecleese: True. But who goes to Canada?
- 45:14Brian McFadden: A lot more people. Lately, Canada has actually devoted a whole lot more resources to the border as of late, because Trudeau is worried about becoming the 51st State.
- 45:25Testecleese: Jude. I was in a lot of trouble.
- 45:26Brian McFadden: He's on his way out.
- 45:29Testecleese: Yeah, I'm not sure what the rules are in Canada for their Prime Minister. He's a Prime Minister, not a President, right.
- 45:35Testecleese: Yeah, I'm not sure what their policy.
- 45:36Testecleese: They don't have a permanent President.
- 45:38Testecleese: No, but how many.
- 45:39Brian McFadden: They got they got the the King of England in charge.
- 45:42Testecleese: Yes. Well, kinda there's all sorts of weird rules when it comes to the King getting involved in the Commonwealth.
- 45:49Testecleese: But can the Prime minister serve more than 2 terms.
- 45:52Brian McFadden: I know.
- 45:53Testecleese: I have no idea if that could be a lifetime thing, or what
- 45:58Testecleese: don't pay nothing against Canada. I love Canada. I really do. But.
- 46:03Brian McFadden: The times I've been there I always had a good time.
- 46:06Testecleese: Yeah, but, like you, I don't know. It's you never think of Canada on the world stage for anything. You know what I mean.
- 46:12Brian McFadden: So. Apparently it was Dianne Feinstein that was attributed to saying that all veterans are mentally ill, but.
- 46:20Testecleese: Hindsight.
- 46:21Brian McFadden: Writers came out and said that she actually did not say that.
- 46:25Testecleese: Oh, I've never seen the video like I'm pretty sure we played it on this show.
- 46:29Brian McFadden: They're saying that the words were twisted.
- 46:31Testecleese: Yeah. Oh, none of the cheap fake.
- 46:34Brian McFadden: Yes.
- 46:36Testecleese: Cheap fakes are us?
- 46:38Testecleese: Yeah, exactly.
- 46:40Testecleese: Well, alright.
- 46:45Testecleese: Speaking of cheap fakes, I don't know who Jan Crawford is, but I guess she's a Cbs
- 46:51Testecleese: anchor or correspondent, or something.
- 46:54Brian McFadden: Correspondent.
- 46:56Testecleese: Yeah, she said. That
- 46:59Testecleese: Biden's cognitive decline was most undercover story of 2024.
- 47:03Testecleese: And she's like complaining about it.
- 47:05Testecleese: Like, yeah, yes, you're the one who's supposed to recover this, and.
- 47:09Brian McFadden: Yeah, yeah, but they're not going to do it. You know, they're protecting the
- 47:13Brian McFadden: they're to protect in the media, you know.
- 47:16Testecleese: I just figured to go. Why did anyone cover this bitch? That was what you were supposed to do. You too busy saying trump is a rapist and getting sued for it. You know
- 47:28Testecleese: that was Cvs right.
- 47:30Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 47:31Testecleese: Yeah that. That's paying for the Trump library, which is hilarious. I love it.
- 47:38Testecleese: Oh, well, man, they just
- 47:42Testecleese: why did anyone cover this, then the view, obviously the view. Doing what the view does.
- 47:49Testecleese: Joy Behar said that Vance supports women staying in violent marriages, even though he himself was a victim of domestic abuse.
- 47:58Testecleese: Whoopi Goldberg said that Biden could throw every Republican jail because of the Scotus immunity ruling
- 48:05Testecleese: sonny. Hawson said there'll be no other candidate besides Joe Biden.
- 48:11Testecleese: Sonny Hawson, said Kamala Harris is a moderate.
- 48:15Testecleese: She was also the one.
- 48:18Testecleese: Yes, ex- exactly a moderate.
- 48:20Testecleese: She also said that
- 48:23Testecleese: Harris grew up a middle class in a middle class family, like both of her parents, were doctors.
- 48:27Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 48:28Testecleese: That's.
- 48:29Brian McFadden: So then, stop.
- 48:30Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 48:31Testecleese: Yeah, what do you think? What do you think middle class is?
- 48:38Testecleese: Whoopi Goldberg and Ana Navarro said that trump intends to target Hunter, Biden and other political opponents, as the Democrats are still doing that.
- 48:47Testecleese: And Whoopi said that Elon Musk and Jd. Vance want to kill trump
- 48:51Testecleese: so that they could take over the Presidency themselves, which she then had to walk back.
- 48:57Testecleese: But this is no Jesus, I don't know. I just opened up a Mcafee thing. Somehow
- 49:03Testecleese: they they pop up everywhere, man.
- 49:06Brian McFadden: I've never! I don't have any. Mcafee's pop up on mine.
- 49:09Testecleese: And I'm pretty sure it came installed, and I just never activated it.
- 49:13Testecleese: So it keeps trying to like.
- 49:15Testecleese: do whatever it does. Oh, crap
- 49:17Testecleese: almost left the meeting by accident.
- 49:20Testecleese: So yeah, the view got a whole bunch of stuff really wrong.
- 49:23Brian McFadden: No.
- 49:25Testecleese: Okay.
- 49:25Brian McFadden: It's hard to believe.
- 49:27Testecleese: At least twice they had to come out with like statements, right.
- 49:30Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 49:30Testecleese: We were.
- 49:31Brian McFadden: Yeah, because the lawyers were worried about getting sued. They didn't want to be George Stephanopoulos exactly.
- 49:41Testecleese: And Biden just handed the second highest civilian award to the J. 6 committee members and and 18 other people to include Liz Cheney.
- 49:50Brian McFadden: It doesn't matter. These words can be handed out by whoever they want to hand them out to. But the Republicans in the House of Representatives, and both the Senate have said they're going to investigate the January 6th committee, and she's going to get charged with witness tampering.
- 50:07Testecleese: That's I'm pretty sure that you're exactly right on that one.
- 50:11Brian McFadden: He can try to use her, her presidential, notorious
- 50:16Brian McFadden: board, to get her out of the out of the trial. But you know, good luck with that.
- 50:22Testecleese: Well, the FBI.
- 50:22Brian McFadden: I heard somebody said that maybe she should go duck hunting with her. Dad soon.
- 50:26Testecleese: Isn't he dead, though.
- 50:28Brian McFadden: Unfortunately. Yes, I believe so.
- 50:31Testecleese: Yeah, he didn't get shot in the face.
- 50:33Testecleese: No, the people hunting with them did. I? Still can't.
- 50:37Brian McFadden: Believe he shot a dude in the face.
- 50:40Testecleese: And we have so many people pretending that Cheney's a great people that you hated Dick Cheney when he was in office.
- 50:48Brian McFadden: He was not the best Republican Vice President.
- 50:54Testecleese: But yeah, speaking of January 6, th though the FBI has just released new details and video.
- 51:01Brian McFadden: Surprise, surprise.
- 51:02Testecleese: Of the pipe bombs that nobody talked about after like 3 days after this.
- 51:07Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 51:08Testecleese: There's way too much suspicion around those pipe bombs that never went off that nobody saw planted.
- 51:14Testecleese: And now
- 51:16Testecleese: I don't know, man, you want to play conspiracy theory, then this is definitely, somehow tied into the the quote riot that happened at the Capitol. You know.
- 51:24Brian McFadden: Right, yeah.
- 51:28Testecleese: Well, and at the same time Joe is trying to ban oil and gas leases in Nevada for 20 years.
- 51:36Brian McFadden: I think that I think trump can reverse this.
- 51:40Brian McFadden: you know, because it's so soon close to his inauguration.
- 51:45Testecleese: Why would we ban this.
- 51:48Brian McFadden: The Zagley.
- 51:50Testecleese: All right, Trump said. He wants to drill baby drill on day one.
- 51:53Brian McFadden: And that's why Biden wants to ban it so trump can't drill baby drill.
- 51:58Testecleese: Don't. You're not helping anyone by just being contrarian.
- 52:02Brian McFadden: Well, that's what Biden's been about the whole time. He's been president.
- 52:05Testecleese: I know he has, and I just I just wish once trump would come out and be like I'm in favor of breathing oxygen and watch all these guys just fall down dead. You know what I mean.
- 52:14Testecleese: because, like, oh, I can't breathe anymore.
- 52:18Testecleese: And he's trying to ban more offshore drilling.
- 52:23Brian McFadden: Of course.
- 52:24Testecleese: Have we?
- 52:27Testecleese: Is he open to hold on to this until the rest of the world is out of oil? Because isn't that what Alaska is, for.
- 52:35Testecleese: I thought, that's what we were doing in Alaska, anyway.
- 52:39Brian McFadden: That's why we stopped drilling in anwar, because we want to keep the oil forever.
- 52:45Testecleese: That's what I I had heard rumors about that, anyway. It was when the rest of the world runs out of oil. We'll tap Alaska, and
- 52:50Testecleese: we'll be able to run stuff while everyone else figures out how to get around it.
- 52:54Testecleese: Russia actually came out recently and said that they wanted to take Alaska back.
- 52:59Testecleese: which you can't just take it back. You you sold it.
- 53:02Testecleese: It wasn't even like taken by force.
- 53:04Brian McFadden: And that's why Trump wins by Greenland
- 53:07Brian McFadden: because of all the because of all the natural resources that are there.
- 53:11Testecleese: Yeah.
- 53:11Brian McFadden: There's only 60,000 people who live on the whole island.
- 53:16Testecleese: And they've only had their independence for what 100 years! Something like that.
- 53:19Brian McFadden: Technically, they really don't have their independence. They're still supposed to be defended by Denmark.
- 53:25Testecleese: Yeah, but they're not Dutch.
- 53:27Testecleese: So I eat.
- 53:30Brian McFadden: One of those Cockamamie teams again, you know.
- 53:36Testecleese: Yeah, yeah, I guess.
- 53:40Testecleese: Oh, yeah, what's up with this Us deal thing? I I couldn't get a straight answer anywhere. I looked.
- 53:45Testecleese: Japan was looking to buy a steel company.
- 53:47Brian McFadden: Yes, and they want to buy us steel. The largest Us. Company that manufactures steel and Biden blocked the sale because he wants to keep the company owned by somebody in the Us.
- 54:01Testecleese: Okay, I can understand that logic. But does the President have the authority to say you're not allowed to sell your company to a foreign
- 54:08Testecleese: company?
- 54:10Brian McFadden: I would think it would have to be.
- 54:13Brian McFadden: I mean ultimately, probably. Yes, but.
- 54:15Testecleese: Because they probably have a couple of.
- 54:16Brian McFadden: There should be a government agency that stops it before it gets to the level of Presidency, though.
- 54:22Testecleese: Yeah, yeah.
- 54:24Brian McFadden: Federal Trade Commission or something some other entity that
- 54:29Brian McFadden: controls. You know how much foreign people can buy us country companies.
- 54:37Testecleese: Yeah. And it says, Japan, or
- 54:39Testecleese: actually, is it the company? Nippons? Yeah. Nippon steel wants to buy us steel, right? And you us steel is one of the biggest steel companies on the planet.
- 54:47Brian McFadden: Right.
- 54:49Testecleese: Which is a big deal. That's like, actually what Americans are.
- 54:53Brian McFadden: We were known for.
- 54:55Testecleese: Exactly. We were known for for a very long time, especially in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia.
- 55:00Testecleese: I mean shoot. They named their football team in Pittsburgh. After this, after the steel industry.
- 55:06Testecleese: Which I don't know if people realize that. But that's
- 55:09Testecleese: obvious the way they spell steelers. It's you know what I mean.
- 55:11Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 55:16Testecleese: I don't know. I I don't know why they would want us. I mean, I guess I gotta know why they want. So they want to make a ton of money and get out.
- 55:22Testecleese: but they.
- 55:23Brian McFadden: They want to get out while they still can get out. You know.
- 55:25Testecleese: This. They probably have tons of contracts with the Federal Government, though for.
- 55:29Brian McFadden: That's an issue. That's probably how Biden got involved, because.
- 55:33Testecleese: Certainly selling steel to the navy right.
- 55:35Brian McFadden: Of course we're only supposed to buy in the Us. Steel.
- 55:39Testecleese: For a handful of reasons, one to keep the money in the Us. And another is so that.
- 55:43Brian McFadden: We go to the world.
- 55:44Testecleese: Can't just shut it off. Yeah, yeah, exactly.
- 55:46Testecleese: We know it's quality.
- 55:48Brian McFadden: Right.
- 55:50Testecleese: And Jews. Jeez Louise. The Us. Steel company
- 55:54Testecleese: was huge in the Industrial Revolution. I mean all these skyscrapers, you know.
- 55:59Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 56:01Testecleese: And okay, one.
- 56:05Testecleese: See
- 56:06Testecleese: these guys. Now, we we brought this up before, and they're trying to find out if they can stop Congress from letting trump to be become President.
- 56:15Brian McFadden: This is so hilarious, because
- 56:18Brian McFadden: 4 years ago they were freaking out when Trump was doing his big protest on January 6, th you know, when they were certifying the electoral college.
- 56:29Testecleese: Yeah, and then.
- 56:31Brian McFadden: So how is it? Not okay to do it 4 years ago? But it is okay. Now.
- 56:36Testecleese: What's the difference?
- 56:37Testecleese: That's the big issue was they're claiming it's the 14th Amendment
- 56:41Testecleese: calling him an insurrectionist like, you know that.
- 56:43Brian McFadden: He was never convicted of insurrection, he was never even charged with insurrection. Nobody has been charged with insurrection.
- 56:51Testecleese: And that's the key. It's not a single person has been charged with it. But we keep hearing that term come up like well, then why don't you use it in a courtroom?
- 56:59Testecleese: Most of these guys being charged with trespassing on public property.
- 57:03Testecleese: That's tough to do, isn't it?
- 57:05Brian McFadden: No.
- 57:08Testecleese: Oh, my God.
- 57:11Testecleese: I'm sorry you said this article, and I you know what I thought it was. Gonna be bird flu. We got our 1st confirmed case of bird flu in West Virginia.
- 57:19Brian McFadden: Okay.
- 57:20Testecleese: And then you shared this article about this mystery disease in China that's outbreaking, and everyone's in masks and hospitals and.
- 57:27Brian McFadden: Right? Right? Yeah.
- 57:28Testecleese: Funeral homes, funeral crematoriums being overrun.
- 57:32Brian McFadden: Reminds me of COVID-19.
- 57:34Testecleese: Right before trump comes into office. And look, it's coming out of China again.
- 57:37Brian McFadden: Exactly. That's why I shared it. I wouldn't care if it would have been any other country but China.
- 57:44Testecleese: Try to avoid this bird flu crap, but it's like, Oh, my God! They genetically engineered another horrible disease.
- 57:52Testecleese: Do you think this is going to be a covid thing or people.
- 57:56Testecleese: No, not going to put up with that shit again.
- 57:58Brian McFadden: They're not. Gonna no, we're not putting up with that shit again.
- 58:02Brian McFadden: especially with trump becoming President, you know. I mean.
- 58:05Brian McFadden: he's not falling for the same Bs. He fell, for in 2020.
- 58:10Testecleese: He is hoping. I've got high hopes for trump coming in, because I think he learned a.
- 58:15Brian McFadden: I think he learned a ton of lessons in his 1st administration. I think he's gonna be totally different, President. He's only got really 2 years, and he has control of the Senate and the House, not like huge margins, but he does have all 3 branches of the Government to try to get a few things passed, but he's got only 2 years to do it, so we'll see what happens.
- 58:35Testecleese: Realistically, 18 months.
- 58:37Testecleese: And like we were talking about last week. He may get 2 picks for Supreme Court.
- 58:46Brian McFadden: I do think that a couple of the older Republican Supreme Court Justices will retire in his time.
- 58:53Brian McFadden: maybe even a dam.
- 58:57Testecleese: Maybe, but I got a feeling. Well.
- 58:58Brian McFadden: The Dems will probably just die.
- 59:00Testecleese: Yeah, they'll probably stay in office and die instead, because if they were, gonna they would do it right now, or they would have already.
- 59:06Brian McFadden: Well, they would have had to do it already, because.
- 59:08Testecleese: It'd be too late now.
- 59:09Brian McFadden: Yeah, exactly. But I think Clarence Thomas will probably go, and one of the other older ones, you know.
- 59:17Testecleese: Roberts.
- 59:19Brian McFadden: Robert's Chief Justice. I don't see him giving up that position quite that easily.
- 59:25Testecleese: Why not? You still get paid? Go home, be with your white wife.
- 59:28Brian McFadden: Yeah, that's true.
- 59:30Testecleese: I love it. I love it, too, like you know, he's, you know, this racist, or whatever I'm like. 1st of all, I thought black folks couldn't be racist. Second of all, he's married to a white woman.
- 59:38Brian McFadden: Right. The problem is, he's racist because he's a Republican.
- 59:42Testecleese: That's.
- 59:42Brian McFadden: Exactly. Uncle Tom!
- 59:45Brian McFadden: Alright.
- 59:46Testecleese: More people should read that book.
- 59:48Brian McFadden: Of course.
- 59:50Testecleese: Because that's not what that means. Okay.
- 59:56Testecleese: 1st of all, Uncle Tom was a was a white guy who owned the cabin.
- 1:00:02Testecleese: but that's neither here nor there. People need reading these books before they make references, and I'm real frustrated how anyone younger than me hasn't read anything other than Harry Potter.
- 1:00:13Testecleese: should I actually have a copy of the Art of War by sun? Tzu.
- 1:00:17Brian McFadden: Wow. Okay.
- 1:00:18Testecleese: I I know, and I have a Dante's Inferno
- 1:00:24Testecleese: all right. I got some interesting stuff sitting here in leftovers. I wanted to bring some of it up.
- 1:00:31Testecleese: Well, 3 teenagers stole a car like 2 30 in the morning, when the police caught up to him.
- 1:00:36Testecleese: They wrecked the car and fled on foot.
- 1:00:39Testecleese: and the eldest of the teenagers turned around with a gun and fired on the police
- 1:00:45Testecleese: and killed the canine unit.
- 1:00:49Brian McFadden: Wow!
- 1:00:50Testecleese: I don't think this kid understands that that counts as killing a police officer in the United States.
- 1:00:55Brian McFadden: I don't think they do either.
- 1:00:59Testecleese: You go to prison for a long time for killing a cop.
- 1:01:03Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 1:01:03Testecleese: Even if you're 17.
- 1:01:05Brian McFadden: Oh, yeah, they're gonna get tried as an adult. There's no about it.
- 1:01:10Testecleese: At least the eldest kid is one of them, I think, was like 14. He may not
- 1:01:15Testecleese: where the job
- 1:01:17Testecleese: and I get it. Man, that dog that dog gets you. It's gonna hurt you when it takes you down.
- 1:01:22Testecleese: Dear God, man, what are you doing shooting at the police like you're just begging to get killed, aren't you?
- 1:01:27Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 1:01:29Testecleese: And stupid kids. Where were these kids? Parents
- 1:01:32Testecleese: that these kids are out at 2 30 in the morning stealing cars?
- 1:01:37Testecleese: She's yeah.
- 1:01:39Testecleese: And in Texas. Some 4 H. Kid
- 1:01:43Testecleese: killed a goat that someone else, like a competitive teenager, was showing up with at the competition.
- 1:01:53Testecleese: What the hell is going on.
- 1:01:56Testecleese: That's kind of crazy.
- 1:01:58Brian McFadden: That's not. It's not that competitive, you know. At least it shouldn't be.
- 1:02:02Testecleese: Yeah, this isn't gonna decide whether or not you get into that good college, or you get that sweet job.
- 1:02:07Brian McFadden: Yeah, you know.
- 1:02:09Testecleese: It's a goat.
- 1:02:12Testecleese: Okay. So what happened in Puerto Rico? I I kept seeing this is near total blackout, but I'm not sure what caused it.
- 1:02:21Brian McFadden: Corruption!
- 1:02:23Testecleese: Is that what it was? It was just misappropriation of everything.
- 1:02:26Brian McFadden: Yeah, I mean their power grid has not. There's been no money really put in their power grid for decades, and you know, even though they just rebuilt the whole thing after the last hurricane a few years ago. It's still
- 1:02:39Brian McFadden: still not that great. No problem.
- 1:02:42Testecleese: More than a few years ago, wasn't it?
- 1:02:43Brian McFadden: Yeah, well, I mean, we were doing the podcast.
- 1:02:46Testecleese: Yeah, we were. And that was when the Carl Vincent plugged into Puerto Rico. Right power. The entire island.
- 1:02:52Brian McFadden: Maybe.
- 1:02:53Testecleese: I think that was the Carl Vinson, Cvn. 70 conventional nuclear aircraft carrier.
- 1:02:59Brian McFadden: Hello!
- 1:03:03Testecleese: And okay, you share.
- 1:03:04Brian McFadden: Now a 4 deploy aircraft carrier.
- 1:03:08Testecleese: Oh, where, where are they stationed now.
- 1:03:11Brian McFadden: Japan. I believe.
- 1:03:13Testecleese: Oh, I thought the I thought the Nixon went over there.
- 1:03:17Brian McFadden: There is no Nixon.
- 1:03:19Testecleese: Not Nixon. What was the new one that just came out? Eisenhower? No
- 1:03:23Testecleese: like. What was the new one I was.
- 1:03:25Testecleese: Huh!
- 1:03:25Brian McFadden: The Washington. It's either Japan or San Diego. I'm not sure which. So.
- 1:03:31Testecleese: Now back to California would make sense. It was only supposed to be in Virginia for the overhaul and reconstruction.
- 1:03:40Testecleese: I'm glad I'm not on that ship anymore. I had.
- 1:03:42Testecleese: I worked way too hard and got beat up. Too bad
- 1:03:47Testecleese: we had power outages here in West Virginia last night.
- 1:03:51Testecleese: And what sucked was it was like a power was coming on. It was going off. It was coming on. It was going off.
- 1:03:58Testecleese: which sucks, because my generator kept kicking on and shutting, you know, and shutting off.
- 1:04:03Testecleese: Ha, ha! Ha!
- 1:04:06Brian McFadden: It is San Diego.
- 1:04:08Testecleese: Man. Oh, okay. So they're in saying they're back to San Diego.
- 1:04:11Brian McFadden: Yeah, they're deployed right now, but they're in San Diego. So.
- 1:04:15Testecleese: I'm guessing somewhere over in
- 1:04:17Brian McFadden: They just left Malaysia.
- 1:04:19Testecleese: Okay, so, okay.
- 1:04:20Brian McFadden: That would have been a cool port to visit. I never got to visit Malaysia, so.
- 1:04:23Testecleese: No, it's subtropical, right?
- 1:04:26Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 1:04:27Testecleese: Hmm!
- 1:04:29Testecleese: Did you? This next one you shared? Did you know this is referring to Georgia, the nation, not Georgia. The state.
- 1:04:34Brian McFadden: Yes, I did.
- 1:04:36Testecleese: They're warning about. People need to stop crypto mining because it's shutting down the electric grid.
- 1:04:41Brian McFadden: It's using too much power.
- 1:04:43Brian McFadden: They're not doing it like El Salvador is using their volcanoes to power up the mining organizations.
- 1:04:51Testecleese: That's brilliant like. Why not make a pile plant out of a volcano right.
- 1:04:56Brian McFadden: Yup!
- 1:05:00Testecleese: Oh, anything else in here? Interesting. Looks like we're going to be taking deorbiting the International Space Station.
- 1:05:06Brian McFadden: And China will have the only active space station after that.
- 1:05:12Testecleese: Air.
- 1:05:13Testecleese: We knew this was gonna come down. And realistically, what does that entail?
- 1:05:18Testecleese: Slowly, bringing it closer until it falls out of orbit and falls into the Pacific Ocean. I'm guessing.
- 1:05:24Brian McFadden: Burns up in the orbit.
- 1:05:26Testecleese: I think it might be too big to just burn up chunks of it.
- 1:05:29Brian McFadden: But Elon Musk is gonna have to get something back up there because we need some kind of foothold in space.
- 1:05:36Testecleese: Why?
- 1:05:37Brian McFadden: Does.
- 1:05:39Testecleese: I'm not disagreeing. I'm just wondering why, like we haven't made any advances.
- 1:05:44Brian McFadden: Well, we don't know that there's been a ton of scientific advances that happen, experiments that happen in outer space that can't happen on earth. We just don't know.
- 1:05:53Brian McFadden: Yes.
- 1:05:54Testecleese: Yeah, okay. But so we're testing mixing blood types together. So we can make a universal donor. They can only happen in space. That means we have to go to space to do this stuff like, say, it becomes feasible on something we could do. Now we can go to space to do the project that bring it back to use it.
- 1:06:07Brian McFadden: We're more likely to get another space station in orbit before we get our colony on the Moon or our colony on Mars.
- 1:06:15Testecleese: What's going to be crazy is when Elon Musk exactly builds his own
- 1:06:20Testecleese: and puts it up into orbit.
- 1:06:23Testecleese: and then the United States gets to rent it from him.
- 1:06:29Testecleese: Now, here's an interesting thing I saw.
- 1:06:32Testecleese: There's a new Oklahoma law that's requiring students to be accepted into college a trade school.
- 1:06:38Testecleese: or join the military to be able to graduate high school.
- 1:06:43Brian McFadden: That is kind of interesting.
- 1:06:46Testecleese: Ronnie, just in case you didn't hear that
- 1:06:48Testecleese: Oklahoma has a new law requiring students to be accepted to college or trade school, or join the service, to graduate high school.
- 1:06:57Testecleese: Yeah.
- 1:06:59Ron Pascoe: Yeah.
- 1:06:59Ron Pascoe: Hi.
- 1:07:00Testecleese: So if you're poor, you have to join the service.
- 1:07:04Brian McFadden: But you could do a trade school, too.
- 1:07:06Ron Pascoe: Yay!
- 1:07:07Testecleese: It was ain't free dude.
- 1:07:09Ron Pascoe: Well, we got laws out here like when you're in high school you can't leave. Used to be leaving year 9 year 10. That's when you're about 1516. But now you've got to go to Grades College, where you've got to do some sort of studying afterwards.
- 1:07:22Testecleese: Yeah.
- 1:07:23Testecleese: But I mean, it just seems strange to say, you can't even graduate high school unless you have plans, for after it's like I was gonna go work for my father plumbing or on the farm. You know what I mean like Nope can't not in Oklahoma, where the wind comes sweeping down the plains.
- 1:07:39Testecleese: where the corn is as high as an elephant's eye. Right.
- 1:07:42Ron Pascoe: This is an under what handed way of getting some subscription going, isn't it?
- 1:07:46Testecleese: That's exactly thought was, you're sending these young kids.
- 1:07:50Brian McFadden: Could they join? Could they join the the National Guard? Can they join the Oklahoma National Guard?
- 1:07:56Testecleese: I would think so, because I didn't specifically mention that, but that people tend to count the National Guard as a military.
- 1:08:04Brian McFadden: But it is, but it is.
- 1:08:06Brian McFadden: If there's no foreign wars going on, it's actually a better way to go, you know, with trump coming in. We're not going to be getting in any unnecessary wars anytime soon, so the National Guard won't be activated to the military. The actual Army or Air Force anytime soon.
- 1:08:25Testecleese: No, they'll be used as crowd control, like they're supposed to be used most of the time.
- 1:08:30Brian McFadden: In their States.
- 1:08:31Testecleese: Yeah, exactly. The guys are right in Oklahoma. Okay, National Guard. Get out there and.
- 1:08:36Brian McFadden: Get her done.
- 1:08:37Testecleese: Yeah, they don't even stop these things anymore. They just contain it. So go ahead and burn down that city block.
- 1:08:45Testecleese: But yeah, I'm I'm a little concerned about this, because it's like
- 1:08:49Testecleese: the repeat offender said, it sounds like it's a good way to force a lot of people into the service right before world war, 3.
- 1:08:56Ron Pascoe: Well, probably Democrats thought they were going to win your Federal election mate.
- 1:09:00Ron Pascoe: Get people in that way.
- 1:09:02Testecleese: And as much as I'm proud to have served in the United States Navy, and glad I did. I would not want to be in the navy at wartime.
- 1:09:10Brian McFadden: No.
- 1:09:10Ron Pascoe: Bye.
- 1:09:13Brian McFadden: If I had a chance between services I'd still choose an avian wartime over all the others. But.
- 1:09:19Testecleese: Probably. But hey.
- 1:09:22Testecleese: you don't even have to get hit with the weapons to get killed on a navy ship.
- 1:09:27Testecleese: Realistically, my chances are me the job I did in the Navy. I was gonna die putting out a fire or stopping flooding
- 1:09:37Testecleese: and then getting sealed in the room because I couldn't get it taken care of quick enough after we got hit with ordinance, you know.
- 1:09:43Testecleese: Like it sucks enough to get hit with a missile. Now I have to go in there and put the fire out. Weld the bowl, kit back together while people are closing the hatches over my head and locking that shit shut, you know.
- 1:09:54Testecleese: Oh, just
- 1:09:56Testecleese: I don't know, man, and maybe is powerful. But
- 1:10:01Testecleese: we've been seeing the United States military fuck up a lot. We shot down our own aircraft.
- 1:10:07Brian McFadden: And there was another mirror. They almost did it again, like a few days later.
- 1:10:12Testecleese: Again. I still think it was the same day. I think it was the same barrage of missiles they just.
- 1:10:15Brian McFadden: Good.
- 1:10:16Testecleese: Didn't bring up the second one until after the fact.
- 1:10:18Brian McFadden: Okay.
- 1:10:20Testecleese: I'm sure that commanding officer is no longer the commanding officer.
- 1:10:25Testecleese: Yeah, no, exactly. And Guapo was like, Oh, I know guys on that trip. It doesn't matter. They're going to put out that he was relieved of duty for lack of confidence. That's all we're ever going to officially hear about this.
- 1:10:35Testecleese: Meanwhile he retires.
- 1:10:36Brian McFadden: I'm gonna I'm gonna send him a text now, and it's like, Hey, what'd you hear.
- 1:10:40Testecleese: Yeah.
- 1:10:41Testecleese: Meanwhile he's still gonna get to retire in. Oh, 6 hmm!
- 1:10:45Ron Pascoe: There'll be nice that we'll cover up on that one.
- 1:10:48Testecleese: Yeah, well, exactly. He's gonna get to retire in oh, 6. And then the E 5 or E 6 guy enlisted
- 1:10:55Testecleese: is gonna get fucked. He's gonna get fucked hard for pushing the button for.
- 1:11:02Brian McFadden: Yeah, it's a list of people that are going to take the full brunt of it. You know. They're going to get the worst punishment.
- 1:11:08Brian McFadden: Oh, no! Somebody retires as the captain. What what happens? He'll get a job as a fucking CEO or on a board of directors someplace, you know.
- 1:11:19Testecleese: That quick.
- 1:11:19Brian McFadden: $1,000 a year.
- 1:11:21Testecleese: Yeah. Or if that just collect your 6 figure pension and stay retired.
- 1:11:29Testecleese: Repeat offender. I don't know if you know, but if you get kicked out of the service as enlisted. You can't work for anyone that has a contract to the United States Government.
- 1:11:38Brian McFadden: You also can't give me any benefits.
- 1:11:40Testecleese: Yeah. And you don't get benefits. But that means you literally can't even work at Mcdonald's, because there are Mcdonald's on base.
- 1:11:47Ron Pascoe: That's for the dishonorable discharge.
- 1:11:48Testecleese: Yeah.
- 1:11:51Brian McFadden: He says he got he got no info back from his contact.
- 1:11:57Brian McFadden: Yeah, that's like surprising.
- 1:12:00Testecleese: Anyone does know what's going on is keeping their mouth shut so they don't get boned on that.
- 1:12:03Brian McFadden: Yep.
- 1:12:04Ron Pascoe: Or anyone who's got any information, mate, you would you shut your mouth, wouldn't you?
- 1:12:08Brian McFadden: It'd be smart to shut your mouth.
- 1:12:10Testecleese: If I was still enlisted I'd be silent about that, like I don't. I was down below decks
- 1:12:16Brian McFadden: I wasn't in Cic when that happened.
- 1:12:19Testecleese: Yeah, I was in the repair locker, dressed out, waiting for a conflict.
- 1:12:25Testecleese: Okay? So I keep seeing this net neutrality crap. We've talked about it more than once. I still don't know what the hell it is.
- 1:12:32Brian McFadden: This was the big, dense push.
- 1:12:35Ron Pascoe: To make it so that.
- 1:12:37Brian McFadden: You couldn't pay extra for high speed Internet.
- 1:12:41Brian McFadden: Everything had to be equally available to everybody for the same speeds.
- 1:12:48Testecleese: But I might.
- 1:12:49Brian McFadden: Throttling. You can't pay more. It's not allowed.
- 1:12:52Testecleese: Though I might be forced to pay more in a certain area, because
- 1:12:56Testecleese: South Shore, Massachusetts is wealthy. For example.
- 1:13:00Brian McFadden: That's the way I understood it. I.
- 1:13:02Testecleese: World.
- 1:13:02Brian McFadden: So that
- 1:13:03Brian McFadden: they weren't allowed to throttle the Internet or give you more speed, even if you paid for it.
- 1:13:11Testecleese: Well, I mean, it's a
- 1:13:13Testecleese: I understand the throttling. The Internet thing like that seems silly. But at the same time, like
- 1:13:19Testecleese: the cable company.
- 1:13:22Testecleese: They're putting all the same stuff out, anyway, right? No matter what, whether or not you're paying for it. It's still getting trade broadcast.
- 1:13:29Testecleese: Should I be able to just tap into this
- 1:13:32Testecleese: and not have to pay more for the different channels.
- 1:13:37Brian McFadden: Well that neutrality deals with the Internet, not cable.
- 1:13:42Testecleese: Okay, my streaming services.
- 1:13:45Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 1:13:46Testecleese: I'm just saying like it's a service out there. If you didn't pay for all of the service, why should you?
- 1:13:53Testecleese: Why shouldn't I be able to pay more to get faster Internet. Why can't I have broad.
- 1:13:58Brian McFadden: Be able to, but net neutrality would have killed that.
- 1:14:01Testecleese: And I got shut down by the court. I guess.
- 1:14:03Brian McFadden: Yes.
- 1:14:05Brian McFadden: because the Fcc. Was the one trying to create it. And the Fcc. Doesn't should. They're saying the Fcc overstepped their authority because they don't control the Internet. They control cable.
- 1:14:19Testecleese: Yeah. And that is a little strange.
- 1:14:22Testecleese: because you can get away with just about anything on the Internet.
- 1:14:25Testecleese: That you can't get away with on cable
- 1:14:28Testecleese: with. But just like I get my streaming services, I get shows that are on cable.
- 1:14:32Testecleese: But obviously through my streaming services, and they're full of curse, words and everything.
- 1:14:36Testecleese: I know it's not not censored.
- 1:14:40Testecleese: but you can still. Oh, go ahead.
- 1:14:44Testecleese: You can still watch Rick and Morty on cable. It's just not full of the swears it's go beep, beep, beep, beep, beep!
- 1:14:51Testecleese: Oh, I so alright! I guess I could still have my high speed Internet, and I don't.
- 1:14:59Testecleese: If if they want to control the Internet, they should.
- 1:15:03Brian McFadden: I don't even know how to say they should, because they don't really have the authority.
- 1:15:07Brian McFadden: That's the issue. There's the courts say they don't have the authority. So
- 1:15:12Brian McFadden: Trump's going to have set up another organization that has the authority to control the Internet.
- 1:15:18Testecleese: Yeah, I think that's a mistake, too. But all right.
- 1:15:22Testecleese: And this next one I have in.
- 1:15:24Testecleese: Yeah, this next one I've been here is an interesting thing that
- 1:15:29Testecleese: it's called the East African ripped system
- 1:15:32Testecleese: for it stretches from Mozambique to the Red Sea, and there are tectonic plates moving.
- 1:15:38Brian McFadden: So they're gonna have an earthquake.
- 1:15:41Testecleese: Crazier is. They're expecting a new ocean to form in the middle of Africa.
- 1:15:45Brian McFadden: But.
- 1:15:47Testecleese: They're saying that normally they expected this to take like 10 to 100 million years.
- 1:15:53Testecleese: Based on the the movement.
- 1:15:55Testecleese: They say, in a million years there's going to be another ocean in the middle of Africa.
- 1:15:59Brian McFadden: In a million years.
- 1:16:00Testecleese: In a million years.
- 1:16:02Brian McFadden: Well gonna be alive then. So I'm not really too worried about it.
- 1:16:06Testecleese: No? Well, I don't. It's not necessarily a problem, either.
- 1:16:09Brian McFadden: I'm.
- 1:16:10Testecleese: I.
- 1:16:10Brian McFadden: I mean, are, what are they blaming this on global warming?
- 1:16:13Testecleese: No, no, this is plate tectonics. This is just the the plates naturally floating on the magma core.
- 1:16:21Testecleese: They're moving centimeters a year, I guess, which is like faster than the glaciers.
- 1:16:27Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 1:16:28Testecleese: Well, this will create a lot of coastline which will ring.
- 1:16:33Brian McFadden: For trump.
- 1:16:34Testecleese: Well, yeah, well, in a million years, because, you know, we all know Trump is gonna be president forever. Right?
- 1:16:39Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 1:16:44Testecleese: Exactly. They're gonna download his consciousness on.
- 1:16:47Brian McFadden: AI, AI! That's how we want to get away.
- 1:16:52Brian McFadden: And remember that kid from Mtv.
- 1:16:56Testecleese: How he's gonna get around the 2 terms of President thing. He's you know, he's gonna be an AI computer chip. He's not the same person.
- 1:17:03Brian McFadden: Yeah.
- 1:17:06Testecleese: But it will create a lot of coastline. Allow more trading.
- 1:17:11Testecleese: You know, this might be good for mankind, as.
- 1:17:14Brian McFadden: Strangers hearing the earth is changing doesn't sound like a good thing for mankind. Well, more people don't think
- 1:17:19Brian McFadden: them that mankind will be alive in a million years. So.
- 1:17:23Testecleese: Maybe not.
- 1:17:25Testecleese: Maybe not. But you know what the earth will be fine.
- 1:17:29Testecleese: The earth will recover no problem.
- 1:17:32Testecleese: We're just a blip on the radar of existence in time.
- 1:17:39Testecleese: depending on how you view everything. But
- 1:17:44Testecleese: I don't know. I'm a i'm a firm believer of
- 1:17:48Testecleese: God, but I also believe in evolution.
- 1:17:52Testecleese: And I think evolution was a tool of God.
- 1:17:56Testecleese: Because, you know, the earth is created in 6 days. Yeah, what's a day to God before time was invented. Right?
- 1:18:04Testecleese: Figaro's going with this. Oh, yeah, either way, the earth will be fine.
- 1:18:09Testecleese: even if we all die in another 1 million years, a hundred 1 million years
- 1:18:14Testecleese: the plant life will take over.
- 1:18:16Testecleese: and it'll start over again, you know, like it has countless times. With other. How many mass extinction. Events have we seen.
- 1:18:24Brian McFadden: Oh,
- 1:18:25Testecleese: And life keeps. Yeah, life keeps coming back.
- 1:18:32Testecleese: Well, that's all I got.
- 1:18:37Brian McFadden: Does the repeat offender? Got anything.
- 1:18:42Ron Pascoe: Not much or just
- 1:18:44Ron Pascoe: Yeah, I just can't wait, boys. 15 days ago for me 16 for yourselves.
- 1:18:48Brian McFadden: 6 days before he's convicted as a felon.
- 1:18:52Ron Pascoe: Oh, that isn't gonna go through.
- 1:18:54Ron Pascoe: Yeah, it is.
- 1:18:56Ron Pascoe: What's.
- 1:18:56Brian McFadden: He's definitely going to be. There's not going to get any punishment on the deal, but he's going to be a convicted felon.
- 1:19:02Ron Pascoe: You know what that's going to be overturned?
- 1:19:04Ron Pascoe: It's going to go to an appeal. It'll be overturned.
- 1:19:06Brian McFadden: It will definitely be appealed, and I hope it does get an overturned in the long run. But we're talking about a New York State Court. So we really hold a lot of faith in the New York Supreme Court to overturn.
- 1:19:19Ron Pascoe: He's already in. But he's sending coming via video conference as well, too. So if you're gonna go to jail, he's gonna send him jail.
- 1:19:26Brian McFadden: No, he already said, he's not going to jail.
- 1:19:28Ron Pascoe: He won't, because he knows that it'd be the end of his career. Marshawn's gone, Mate Marshawn, whatever you want to call him. He's gone.
- 1:19:36Brian McFadden: I don't think he's gone. I think he's trying to keep this rolling to keep his name in the lights. You know.
- 1:19:42Ron Pascoe: Yay!
- 1:19:43Brian McFadden: So I mean, he's not. He's given him the latest sense possible. There is no sentence, but he's gonna be a convicted felon. That's what is that? What Marshawn wants.
- 1:19:54Ron Pascoe: Yeah, that's not gonna last long. They'll go to Appellate Court. They'll get overturned or anything.
- 1:20:00Brian McFadden: Hopefully. But you know what I mean.
- 1:20:02Ron Pascoe: Have 5 mate, have 5.
- 1:20:03Brian McFadden: But I'm not putting all my faith in the New York State Court system so.
- 1:20:08Ron Pascoe: I work at 20 on this one mate.
- 1:20:11Ron Pascoe: I put 20 on this.
- 1:20:12Brian McFadden: You're gonna put 20 bucks on that it gets overturned.
- 1:20:17Brian McFadden: I'm not American or Aussie dollars.
- 1:20:20Ron Pascoe: Yeah. Well, actually, I might do in Canadian. There would be all right.
- 1:20:25Brian McFadden: Right. 20 Canadian dollars says it. You're gonna say it gets overturned. I'll say it doesn't get overturned.
- 1:20:32Ron Pascoe: No, not this one, but Marshawn's not gonna return it. We'll go to.
- 1:20:35Brian McFadden: No, it's gotta go up, you know. It's gotta go up, you know.
- 1:20:40Ron Pascoe: Due process.
- 1:20:41Testecleese: What's 20 Canadian dollars worth these days.
- 1:20:45Brian McFadden: Not much. 79 Us. Cents.
- 1:20:48Testecleese: I don't know, maybe, but for a while there the Canadian dollars was worth more.
- 1:20:51Brian McFadden: No, it's not anymore. They're way down.
- 1:20:56Testecleese: Cool.
- 1:20:57Testecleese: It's 13 degrees.
- 1:20:59Testecleese: What?
- 1:21:00Ron Pascoe: Maybe when Trudeau goes.
- 1:21:02Testecleese: Maybe it'll come back up.
- 1:21:04Testecleese: The thing is like I heard about these tariffs, and Canada is like, Oh, it's going to destroy our economy like, what goods do Americans buy that are made in Canada?
- 1:21:12Brian McFadden: Not that many.
- 1:21:13Ron Pascoe: Ethel Syrup, Eiffel Syrup.
- 1:21:15Brian McFadden: Maple syrup. I just watched an Amazon prime show about maple syrup.
- 1:21:20Ron Pascoe: Yep.
- 1:21:20Brian McFadden: Called sticky. It was really good.
- 1:21:23Brian McFadden: It was about of the great, the great Canadian American syrup, great Canadian syrup heist. They people stole millions of dollars of maple syrup.
- 1:21:36Ron Pascoe: I'd like to see the getaway truck.
- 1:21:39Brian McFadden: It was a tanker truck.
- 1:21:43Testecleese: Do with the tanker truck full of maple syrup.
- 1:21:45Brian McFadden: Dallas.
- 1:21:45Testecleese: Yeah.
- 1:21:47Testecleese: Oh.
