- 0:04Speaker 1: We are back for round two of listen if you
- 0:07Speaker 1: want to there is so much to listen to you're
- 0:10Speaker 1: getting another episode.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Yeah guess what so much to listen to wait right
- 0:15Speaker 2: out the gate i need to know what happened with
- 0:16Speaker 2: tamra and shannon fighting and then some sort of sneezing
- 0:21Speaker 2: that i saw the headline and i was like You.
- 0:24Speaker 3: Have to watch it. It's just exactly what you said.
- 0:26Speaker 2: Are they in a fight and then somebody is sneezing, sneezing, sneezing?
- 0:29Speaker 2: Shannon sneezes and sneezes and sneezes. And so then does
- 0:33Speaker 2: Tamara just start laughing at her?
- 0:35Speaker 4: They all do. They all kind of laugh at her
- 0:38Speaker 4: and she has to get up from the table. Yeah,
- 0:40Speaker 4: they're just talking and fighting about like, Tamara wasn't best
- 0:44Speaker 4: friends with her the past two years, but Tamara says,
- 0:46Speaker 4: I've been friends with you for 10 years.
- 0:48Speaker 1: The same scene that they have every season. The one
- 0:51Speaker 1: thing I will say, I.
- 0:53Speaker 3: Really enjoy Tamara this season.
- 0:56Speaker 2: Me too. I enjoy Tamara every day. She is chill.
- 1:00Speaker 1: She is in control and she is not taking BS
- 1:05Speaker 1: from nobody, but in a way that is productive. Usually she, she's,
- 1:10Speaker 1: she never takes BS, but she will go off the handle.
- 1:13Speaker 3: Right now she's like, I don't have the energy for this.
- 1:16Speaker 2: Could be menopause.
- 1:17Speaker 3: That's how I am.
- 1:18Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:19Speaker 3: Oh, And that's worse.
- 1:20Speaker 1: It's like to be on the receiving side of that,
- 1:22Speaker 1: you know, like.
- 1:23Speaker 2: You're just like, okay, people often say to me now,
- 1:25Speaker 2: how do you stay so calm? And I say, I
- 1:27Speaker 2: think it's some kind of menopause. So then I see
- 1:33Speaker 2: this and Danny are leaving the Valley. Who's Nia and
- 1:37Speaker 2: who's Danny.
- 1:40Speaker 3: You said it right there. No one cares.
- 1:41Speaker 2: So they are, but Will there be anything for them
- 1:45Speaker 2: to talk about? You know what?
- 1:48Speaker 3: I don't care. I'd rather them have nothing to talk about.
- 1:51Speaker 2: Who are they?
- 1:52Speaker 3: Than to have Danny and Nia to talk about.
- 1:53Speaker 2: The ones who have always been in trouble. They're a
- 1:55Speaker 2: married couple.
- 1:56Speaker 4: And Danny has some habits of drinking that is just disrespectful.
- 2:01Speaker 2: Where did we even find them? Like how they get
- 2:03Speaker 2: on the show?
- 2:03Speaker 3: Nia used to be... Miss... Miss.
- 2:07Speaker 2: I wish you guys could have seen Jackie right there.
- 2:11Speaker 2: She's doing some sort of crazy hand motions.
- 2:14Speaker 3: Are you sure she was Miss USA? One of those.
- 2:15Speaker 1: Or was she only like Miss California?
- 2:18Speaker 2: Let me see.
- 2:19Speaker 1: Yeah, check.
- 2:20Speaker 2: Who cares? So they didn't have any connection to people
- 2:23Speaker 2: on the show. They weren't on Vanderpump or any of that.
- 2:25Speaker 1: No, hold on. The thing with the Valley is that
- 2:27Speaker 1: they're all real friends.
- 2:28Speaker 3: That is the one thing.
- 2:29Speaker 2: So who were they friends with?
- 2:30Speaker 3: They were friends with Brittany Cart, right? And Brittany was
- 2:35Speaker 3: the main one. And Kristen Doty.
- 2:38Speaker 2: Do you like the Valley?
- 2:41Speaker 3: I liked it. Season one and two were really good.
- 2:43Speaker 3: Season three was really annoying.
- 2:46Speaker 2: How did we get to season three already? What was
- 2:48Speaker 2: Lala on? Season three. She was on season two?
- 2:53Speaker 1: Danny and Nia rubbed me the wrong way. And I'll
- 2:57Speaker 1: tell you exactly why they rubbed me the wrong way.
- 3:00Speaker 1: They wanted to be on reality TV, but not be real. Which, look,
- 3:08Speaker 1: I understand that. You never want to show your flaws.
- 3:11Speaker 1: You never want to like put your family out there
- 3:13Speaker 1: in a negative light. I get that. But then don't
- 3:16Speaker 1: be on reality TV.
- 3:17Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 3:18Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:19Speaker 2: Right. Agree.
- 3:20Speaker 3: Agree with that.
- 3:21Speaker 1: Agree. There were so many times where she was like, Danny, Danny,
- 3:26Speaker 1: let's go.
- 3:27Speaker 2: Danny. Danny, Danny, Danny.
- 3:28Speaker 3: I think that a lot.
- 3:29Speaker 2: When I'm like, why are you on TV?
- 3:32Speaker 3: Daniel, stop. Daniel, stop.
- 3:35Speaker 2: Oh my gosh.
- 3:35Speaker 1: We're leaving Daniel.
- 3:37Speaker 3: I can't.
- 3:38Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 3:38Speaker 3: Amy, I literally would scream at the TV.
- 3:41Speaker 1: Okay. My husband watches reality TV with me. Anytime I
- 3:45Speaker 1: put it on and I have to watch it because
- 3:46Speaker 1: of work. Anytime I would put it on, he would literally,
- 3:49Speaker 1: are you seriously watching the Valley?
- 3:50Speaker 2: I'm out.
- 3:51Speaker 3: Walk out.
- 3:52Speaker 4: Wow.
- 3:53Speaker 3: It was so bad this season.
- 3:56Speaker 2: How dare you say that about our Lala? No, Lala
- 3:59Speaker 2: was good.
- 3:59Speaker 1: Are you kidding me? I love and adore Lala with
- 4:02Speaker 1: all of my heart. These two, I'm happy to see.
- 4:05Speaker 2: Okay, fine. Fair, fair, fair. So now, first of all,
- 4:08Speaker 2: I always laugh when it says slow-mo-wuh. Slow-mo-wuh. And that means.
- 4:14Speaker 1: Secret lives of Mormon wives.
- 4:16Speaker 2: So I actually did watch this trailer and then halfway through,
- 4:19Speaker 2: I said to myself, stop this.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Can I tell you how I feel about this show?
- 4:24Speaker 1: First three seasons, loved it. Season four, it jumped the shark.
- 4:29Speaker 1: Season five, I don't even want to watch the first episode.
- 4:33Speaker 2: Why do you think it jumped the shark? Because they're
- 4:35Speaker 2: getting too big for their like, Yeah. Again. Back to
- 4:38Speaker 2: survive this. Yeah.
- 4:40Speaker 3: Back to Danny.
- 4:41Speaker 2: When they said mom talk on the trailer, I actually
- 4:44Speaker 2: like gagged a little. She's like something, something mom talk.
- 4:49Speaker 2: And I'm like, no, no.
- 4:52Speaker 1: Season one through three was so good because they were
- 4:54Speaker 1: just like all real. You know what I mean?
- 4:58Speaker 3: Like real fun, cool, sloppy, whatever. It was great.
- 5:03Speaker 1: Now the last season, they're all like, yeah, cool.
- 5:06Speaker 3: Sorry, I said the F word. We're so cool. And
- 5:10Speaker 3: guess what? We're influencers and we love mom talk.
- 5:13Speaker 1: I'm being so mean today. I'm sorry for everyone that's
- 5:16Speaker 1: listening to this.
- 5:17Speaker 3: Sometimes it needs to happen.
- 5:18Speaker 2: It's true, though. But I'm still going to watch.
- 5:21Speaker 4: It's not going to be my top reality show, but
- 5:23Speaker 4: I'm still going to watch.
- 5:24Speaker 3: I think I might boycott it.
- 5:25Speaker 1: Oh.
- 5:29Speaker 3: I may boycott it.
- 5:30Speaker 1: And I know I have to watch this for work,
- 5:32Speaker 1: but the show that I usually have to watch this
- 5:34Speaker 1: for work for.
- 5:35Speaker 3: is also boycotting.
- 5:37Speaker 1: It so you know what oh maybe i don't have
- 5:41Speaker 1: to watch it i didn't know that is that yeah
- 5:45Speaker 1: they hated the last season and they were like i
- 5:47Speaker 1: don't want to do this again oh my gosh.
- 5:50Speaker 4: Yeah well danielle i will say um to go with
- 5:54Speaker 4: secret lives more um the premiere episode of salt lake city.
- 5:57Speaker 1: I watched it did you watch it i have not
- 6:01Speaker 1: watched it yet.
- 6:01Speaker 2: I cried Oh, my God.
- 6:03Speaker 4: That means it's one of the most emotional Housewives episodes
- 6:07Speaker 4: premieres you will ever watch.
- 6:09Speaker 2: With who? Who could be that? Mary Cosby and her
- 6:12Speaker 2: son passed away. Oh, shoot. And the way that she
- 6:16Speaker 2: speaks about it is like, whoa.
- 6:19Speaker 3: Oh, no, that's going to wreck me.
- 6:20Speaker 2: It will wreck you, especially because you have two sons.
- 6:22Speaker 3: It's like it will wreck you.
- 6:24Speaker 2: And but the way at the end of episode, I
- 6:27Speaker 2: just because she.
- 6:28Speaker 3: Oh, no, don't don't even. Can we say that much?
- 6:31Speaker 3: Can we say that much?
- 6:32Speaker 2: Preparing you. Okay.
- 6:35Speaker 1: Okay.
- 6:36Speaker 3: I love that franchise. Salt Lake City, Rhode Island, winner, winner,
- 6:39Speaker 3: chicken dinner.
- 6:40Speaker 2: Both of you. So here was something that I enjoyed.
- 6:46Speaker 2: And look, you can have your thoughts. I'm not, I'm
- 6:49Speaker 2: not here for that. Lori Loughlin came back to Instagram.
- 6:53Speaker 2: And let me tell you who supported her. The entire
- 6:55Speaker 2: Full House cast. They did this whole thing. John Stamos,
- 6:59Speaker 2: Jodi Sweetin, Dave Coulier, Candace Cameron, Andrea, Scott. And it
- 7:04Speaker 2: was like cute. I didn't totally understand because I forgot
- 7:08Speaker 2: about her like hosting Good Morning San Francisco or whatever
- 7:10Speaker 2: it was called, Wake Up San Francisco. But all of
- 7:13Speaker 2: a sudden, just all these people. And I was like,
- 7:14Speaker 2: you know what? I like these people.
- 7:17Speaker 4: She quoted a quote that she She said a line,
- 7:21Speaker 4: she quoted a line that she said on the show.
- 7:23Speaker 2: When she came back from maternity leave. The part where
- 7:24Speaker 2: she says, I'm Rebecca Donaldson? I'm welcoming myself back. Yes, because. Yeah,
- 7:28Speaker 2: because that was after she had the baby or something?
- 7:30Speaker 2: After she had the twins, yes.
- 7:32Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah.
- 7:32Speaker 2: But I liked it. Me too, I liked it. Danny Tanner,
- 7:35Speaker 2: wake up. I know, it was cute. It was cute. So, look,
- 7:40Speaker 2: good job, Instagram. Who cares?
- 7:44Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 7:45Speaker 2: Oh my god danielle is even more snarky than me okay.
- 7:49Speaker 3: Are you such a pill today i.
- 7:51Speaker 2: Chose this because of you harry potter trailer.
- 7:55Speaker 3: Oh my god you still want me.
- 7:57Speaker 2: To be mean i didn't even understand this is there
- 8:00Speaker 2: a new harry potter.
- 8:01Speaker 1: Tell us okay it is this harry potter the prequel
- 8:04Speaker 1: it's a series but it's like before.
- 8:10Speaker 3: No, it is. It's the beginning of the movies, but
- 8:14Speaker 3: just a TV series.
- 8:15Speaker 2: Oh my gosh. So it's a reimagining. Because they talk
- 8:18Speaker 2: about the shorting hat.
- 8:19Speaker 1: They talk about the, like based off the trailer I saw,
- 8:21Speaker 1: I do not believe it to be a prequel because
- 8:24Speaker 1: they are teasing all the things that happened in that
- 8:26Speaker 1: first book.
- 8:27Speaker 2: Why make that? We already have the movies. Why make
- 8:29Speaker 2: a series?
- 8:39Speaker 3: I got two thoughts on this. The one side of
- 8:41Speaker 3: me says, you know what? I'm always down for Harry Potter.
- 8:44Speaker 3: I love Harry Potter.
- 8:45Speaker 1: That was such an important part of my childhood. I'm
- 8:49Speaker 1: obsessed with that franchise in general. Okay, this is a
- 8:53Speaker 1: way to bring back the content and bring back the
- 8:56Speaker 1: feels and all that kind of stuff.
- 8:58Speaker 3: So on one side of me, I'm.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Like, you know what?
- 9:00Speaker 3: This is kind of cool.
- 9:02Speaker 1: On the second side of me, I'm like, you're never
- 9:04Speaker 1: going to live up to the movies.
- 9:06Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 9:07Speaker 1: Ever. No matter how hard you try. The movies will
- 9:10Speaker 1: always be the best thing in the entire world. That
- 9:13Speaker 1: cast will be the best thing in the entire world.
- 9:16Speaker 1: You cannot have a new Harry.
- 9:17Speaker 2: Unless there's like a whole new generation.
- 9:19Speaker 3: You cannot have a new Hermione.
- 9:21Speaker 2: Well, okay. I don't have an argument. I don't have
- 9:24Speaker 2: an argument for you because I don't care about any
- 9:26Speaker 2: of this and I never watched the movies. And the
- 9:28Speaker 2: one movie I went to, I fell asleep.
- 9:29Speaker 3: You never watched the movies, Jackie?
- 9:32Speaker 2: No. I read the first book, though. You know what?
- 9:35Speaker 3: I'm going to have a good correlation. Harry Potter is
- 9:37Speaker 3: to me as friends.
- 9:38Speaker 2: Is to you. I know. I got all my friends stuff.
- 9:41Speaker 4: But that's why I put it in there because I
- 9:43Speaker 4: knew how much you loved it.
- 9:45Speaker 2: Well, give it a shot.
- 9:46Speaker 1: Yeah, I'll give it a shot. The one thing I
- 9:48Speaker 1: will say about the trailer, it looked scarily AI.
- 9:53Speaker 2: Oh, no.
- 9:55Speaker 3: But it wasn't it. But it was like, whoa, these people...
- 9:58Speaker 3: It looks AI.
- 10:00Speaker 4: That they're turning into a series is Dirty Dancing like
- 10:02Speaker 4: I wonder how that's gonna go.
- 10:04Speaker 2: I thought Jennifer Grey was working on a movie or
- 10:07Speaker 2: something I thought Dirty Dancing was becoming a series maybe
- 10:10Speaker 2: they nailed the right Patrick Swayze they'd have something but
- 10:16Speaker 2: that's gonna be hard Oh, it's a new movie. Never mind. Sorry.
- 10:20Speaker 2: It's a new movie. It's a new movie. You're right.
- 10:23Speaker 2: You're right. Carried a watermelon. I love that movie so much.
- 10:27Speaker 2: So much. Miley Cyrus is now Miley. And all of
- 10:33Speaker 2: a sudden, out of nowhere, we got an album and
- 10:35Speaker 2: we got shows at the Hollywood Bowl. Did anyone else
- 10:38Speaker 2: think that was a little surprising? I was like, wait, what?
- 10:40Speaker 3: Yeah. Look, I'm always down for some new Miley.
- 10:44Speaker 1: Me too. Miley has always been Miley. I've never, I
- 10:47Speaker 1: think once.
- 10:48Speaker 2: Said her name was Miley Cyrus.
- 10:50Speaker 3: No, it's always just Miley.
- 10:52Speaker 2: I've called her Miley Cyrus forever.
- 10:53Speaker 1: No, it's Miley for sure.
- 10:55Speaker 3: I'm excited. I love her.
- 11:01Speaker 1: I think she's great. I think she's so unique and
- 11:05Speaker 1: different and I'm ready for it. I'm excited to see
- 11:07Speaker 1: what her new music sounds like and Maybe.
- 11:10Speaker 3: We should go to the Hollywood Bowl.
- 11:11Speaker 2: 100%, but there's so many things I want to do
- 11:13Speaker 2: at the Hollywood Bowl. I got to go see the
- 11:15Speaker 2: Jonas Brothers. Obviously, that's no negotiation I'm going. A smart list.
- 11:21Speaker 2: I kind of want to go to the smart list
- 11:23Speaker 2: show at the Bowl.
- 11:24Speaker 3: We should go for research. We should.
- 11:26Speaker 2: Agree. When is it? I'm so, I mean, I'm getting
- 11:29Speaker 2: booked up. When is it? When is smart list at
- 11:31Speaker 2: the Bowl? I thought it was in October. I've got
- 11:33Speaker 2: a lot of football games too that we have to
- 11:35Speaker 2: squeeze this into. So, oh, this says Miley.
- 11:38Speaker 4: Miley.
- 11:39Speaker 2: Miley Cyrus, is October 16th and 18th at the Hollywood Bowl.
- 11:44Speaker 2: I know the Jonas Brothers are November 18th and 19th.
- 11:47Speaker 2: Is Smartless the 17th? Yes. So she had to work
- 11:51Speaker 2: around their dates. So it goes Miley, Smartless, Miley. So
- 11:55Speaker 2: if I came down for Smartless, I obviously can go
- 11:57Speaker 2: to Miley. There you go. I'm open to it.
- 12:01Speaker 1: Let's do it.
- 12:01Speaker 3: You know who loves Miley?
- 12:02Speaker 1: Our boss.
- 12:05Speaker 2: Oh my God. Should we call him?
- 12:08Speaker 3: We should.
- 12:08Speaker 2: We should. We can't call him in on this.
- 12:12Speaker 4: Hold on.
- 12:14Speaker 2: I'm texting him. Are you coming to see Miley with
- 12:17Speaker 2: us at the Hollywood Bowl, October 16th or 18th? I
- 12:25Speaker 2: texted him. I copied him. Yeah, our big boss.
- 12:29Speaker 3: Which is us.
- 12:30Speaker 2: Our big boss. He's like, What? Why are you laughing?
- 12:35Speaker 2: He is our big boss, but like, it's so weird
- 12:37Speaker 2: when we call him that. Our big boss. He wrote,
- 12:40Speaker 2: oh my God. He already wrote back immediately. And let
- 12:44Speaker 2: me tell you the things I text him that I
- 12:46Speaker 2: need answers on that he doesn't respond. Oh my God.
- 12:51Speaker 2: We got to get a box then. I can't, I
- 12:53Speaker 2: got to get a box because I need, the food
- 12:54Speaker 2: there is delicious. The food there is truly delicious. So
- 12:58Speaker 2: speaking of, you were being snarky. Look, I could do
- 13:02Speaker 2: an entire show on Tiger Woods and Vanessa Trump going
- 13:05Speaker 2: to court. But all I'm going to say is I
- 13:07Speaker 2: don't care for those sunglasses. Do you? No.
- 13:10Speaker 3: Do you like her sunglasses?
- 13:12Speaker 1: She looks like she's about to play baseball.
- 13:14Speaker 2: I think she looks like she's about to hit the slopes.
- 13:16Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 13:18Speaker 2: They're too goggly.
- 13:20Speaker 3: Too goggly.
- 13:21Speaker 2: Her hair looks good. Yeah. But her sunglasses are too goggly.
- 13:25Speaker 2: Her blazer's nice. Yeah. Yeah. And her hair looks nice, but.
- 13:29Speaker 2: I don't know. I'm not even going to comment on
- 13:31Speaker 2: the whole rest of it, but I do feel comfortable
- 13:34Speaker 2: commenting that I don't care for those sunglasses. I don't.
- 13:37Speaker 3: I didn't know they were dating.
- 13:38Speaker 2: Wow. What?
- 13:39Speaker 1: I know.
- 13:40Speaker 3: I live under a rock.
- 13:40Speaker 2: I know. Can I? Go ahead.
- 13:44Speaker 3: You sent me this.
- 13:45Speaker 2: Okay. The lady with the bat in her mouth?
- 13:47Speaker 1: Yes.
- 13:48Speaker 2: Oh my God. I think about her.
- 13:49Speaker 1: And I just want to know how.
- 13:51Speaker 2: I'm thinking about her so much. Can you see if
- 13:53Speaker 2: she'll come on? I have so many questions because I
- 13:55Speaker 2: want to know how did the bat get in her house?
- 13:57Speaker 2: how did the bat get in your house? Do you
- 13:59Speaker 2: sleep with the window open? No screen. That's all that
- 14:01Speaker 2: my brain could come up with.
- 14:02Speaker 3: And then in your mouth.
- 14:03Speaker 2: Number two, she's like, said she was like pulling something
- 14:07Speaker 2: out of her mouth, like in her sleep. And it
- 14:09Speaker 2: was a bat. So then immediately, obviously she's got to get,
- 14:12Speaker 2: catch the bat and test it for rabies. She probably
- 14:14Speaker 2: got to get like 5,000 shots because of, Like bats
- 14:18Speaker 2: are dangerous. It later tested negative for rabies. So she's okay.
- 14:22Speaker 1: Okay.
- 14:23Speaker 3: You know what I did?
- 14:24Speaker 2: Can you get her? We got to get her.
- 14:26Speaker 3: What is a true fact?
- 14:28Speaker 1: Okay.
- 14:28Speaker 3: Isn't she a doctor?
- 14:30Speaker 2: Yes.
- 14:31Speaker 1: She's a doctor.
- 14:32Speaker 3: How do they.
- 14:33Speaker 2: Say 5,000 spiders crawl in your mouth? Yes.
- 14:36Speaker 3: You eat three spiders every year.
- 14:38Speaker 2: I don't. Oh, every year. Yeah. That seems more reasonable.
- 14:42Speaker 2: I thought you were going to say every night.
- 14:43Speaker 3: You know, I woke up the other day with like,
- 14:45Speaker 3: kind of like.
- 14:47Speaker 2: Oh, and you thought you had a spider in there?
- 14:49Speaker 1: Like that. You know that. And I literally thought to myself,
- 14:54Speaker 1: I wonder if I just ate a spider.
- 14:56Speaker 2: So you know that I have never worried about bats
- 14:59Speaker 2: because I don't, I just didn't cross my mind. Although
- 15:01Speaker 2: I have bats around my neighborhood. Like if you walk
- 15:03Speaker 2: at dusk, there's bats. And I was at a dinner party.
- 15:06Speaker 2: I can't remember if I told you guys this, at
- 15:08Speaker 2: my friend Sally's this summer. And all of a sudden,
- 15:12Speaker 2: this like, they said a moth. Oh, that's a giant
- 15:17Speaker 2: moth came down and literally landed on my friend Shannon's
- 15:20Speaker 2: like chest right here. And everyone was like, Whoa, that
- 15:25Speaker 2: moth is huge. And then a couple of us were like,
- 15:28Speaker 2: that's not a moth. So then the bat went onto
- 15:33Speaker 2: the table and everyone's like, is it a moth? Is
- 15:36Speaker 2: that a bat? Like it just didn't look Batman-y, but
- 15:39Speaker 2: it did kind of look batty.
- 15:41Speaker 1: Literally.
- 15:41Speaker 2: I was like, This is what went through my brain.
- 15:44Speaker 2: And she's got to get tested. I literally said, I'm
- 15:47Speaker 2: so grateful that didn't happen to me. Because I would
- 15:49Speaker 2: have said, I'm dying. Because I would have been like,
- 15:51Speaker 2: I have to go to the emergency room. Like, what
- 15:54Speaker 2: do I do? This is so, I've been so stressed.
- 15:58Speaker 2: And she was pretty calm.
- 16:00Speaker 3: Little did you know she spent the night with you.
- 16:03Speaker 2: No, I'd seen her after and I was like, you're alive.
- 16:06Speaker 2: You didn't have any problems. I'm very afraid of bats,
- 16:09Speaker 2: but you know that what I have? A rat. Rhymes
- 16:12Speaker 2: with bats. His name is Rat. And I got a
- 16:15Speaker 2: note in the mail the other day. The exterminator came
- 16:18Speaker 2: and they give you like an update. Sometimes they put
- 16:21Speaker 2: it in the mailbox, but sometimes they hook it to
- 16:22Speaker 2: your door. I think they realize they can't just put
- 16:24Speaker 2: it in the mailbox. Did you know it's like a
- 16:26Speaker 2: federal offense if you put like cookies in a mailbox?
- 16:28Speaker 2: You're not allowed.
- 16:29Speaker 4: Why?
- 16:30Speaker 2: Because it's, like owned by the government or something.
- 16:33Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 16:33Speaker 2: I'm making this up.
- 16:34Speaker 1: I definitely put things in my neighbor's mailbox.
- 16:36Speaker 2: I don't think they take you to jail for it,
- 16:38Speaker 2: but like, you're not supposed to, the mail is supposed
- 16:40Speaker 2: to be used for the U S postal service. And like,
- 16:42Speaker 2: if you're dropping off cookies, they need to go on
- 16:44Speaker 2: the front porch. I'm making half of this up, but
- 16:47Speaker 2: I think it's based on some facts.
- 16:48Speaker 1: I've never heard that before, but I've definitely put things
- 16:50Speaker 1: in my neighbor's mailboxes before.
- 16:53Speaker 2: Well, you broke the law, I think.
- 16:55Speaker 3: Yes, I did.
- 16:56Speaker 2: You might go to the, go to the, go to
- 16:58Speaker 2: the jail. So what was I saying? The rat. The
- 17:03Speaker 2: note said, you know, we did this, we did this,
- 17:06Speaker 2: and we got a rat out of the attic in
- 17:08Speaker 2: the trap. And I'm like, oh God. So every time
- 17:10Speaker 2: there's a rat in the attic, I know that that
- 17:12Speaker 2: noise I hear, that I think, oh, I think I
- 17:17Speaker 2: just heard a rat, is a rat.
- 17:21Speaker 3: Was it caught?
- 17:22Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, that one, there's more. I don't know
- 17:25Speaker 2: how they're getting in. It's so stressful. It is so stressful. Anyway,
- 17:30Speaker 2: I don't know why I'm telling you guys that. Just because.
- 17:33Speaker 2: I've got a lot of back pain today. Anybody else?
- 17:36Speaker 2: I got something going on right in here.
- 17:46Speaker 3: Can you tell me what this cracker butter is? Delia was.
- 17:51Speaker 2: Oh, yes, I can. Did Heather text you about this? Yes,
- 17:54Speaker 2: she did. Okay.
- 17:55Speaker 1: So late last night, it was such a day.
- 17:58Speaker 2: It has been a day in the words of Josh Peck,
- 18:01Speaker 2: who I love. Danielle and I have been having a days, right?
- 18:04Speaker 3: We're not here to complain. We've been having a year.
- 18:06Speaker 2: I'm so tired. I don't even know. I look terrible.
- 18:09Speaker 2: I'm so tired. So I got home at like 10 o'clock.
- 18:14Speaker 2: I'm doing 5,000 things. I don't have any food in
- 18:16Speaker 2: the house. So I had fruit. So I cut up
- 18:18Speaker 2: two plums. Cause I had two plums, put some blueberries
- 18:22Speaker 2: on top. And then I said to Heather, I'm just
- 18:24Speaker 2: going to have saltines and butter. And she was like, what?
- 18:30Speaker 2: And I'm like, no, that's actually delicious.
- 18:33Speaker 3: Saltines.
- 18:33Speaker 2: And you let the butter get kind of like warm.
- 18:36Speaker 2: You don't like, I'm not saying put it in the microwave.
- 18:39Speaker 3: Spreadable.
- 18:39Speaker 2: Very soft. Spreadable. Yes. Cause you don't need a lot
- 18:42Speaker 2: of butter on a saltine. Just enough. You don't have
- 18:45Speaker 2: counter butter? 10. Did you say counter butter?
- 18:48Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 18:49Speaker 2: No, I'm not one of those. I know a lot
- 18:51Speaker 2: of people are like, I do. You have like the
- 18:53Speaker 2: butter crock or whatever. Yeah. The little, little thing. I
- 18:57Speaker 2: keep it in the fridge and then I set it out,
- 18:58Speaker 2: let it get room temperature and then I spread it.
- 19:01Speaker 2: So good.
- 19:02Speaker 4: Because when you, Oh, when you are doing your toast
- 19:05Speaker 4: on butter or crackers on butter, it's so easily spread.
- 19:08Speaker 2: You don't have to like, like go like, right. Yeah.
- 19:12Speaker 2: It's so, you know what I don't care for, you know,
- 19:14Speaker 2: when you go to certain restaurants and there's like a
- 19:17Speaker 2: rectangle of butter.
- 19:18Speaker 3: On And tar is a rock.
- 19:20Speaker 1: Oh my God.
- 19:20Speaker 2: It's like, don't bother. Yeah. Don't give me that.
- 19:24Speaker 1: I will say I'm not dogging your saltines with butter
- 19:27Speaker 1: because there's nothing in this world I love more than
- 19:33Speaker 1: just sourdough toast toasted with butter.
- 19:36Speaker 2: Oh yeah. Do you ever throw jam on there?
- 19:38Speaker 3: Of course. But I will eat it just by itself.
- 19:41Speaker 2: Oh, I just said, first of all, it's the first
- 19:42Speaker 2: time I said it the whole time.
- 19:44Speaker 1: Great.
- 19:45Speaker 2: I think of Scott slash Luke jam hands so much.
- 19:50Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 19:50Speaker 2: You know, in Gilmore Girls when he's like, I don't
- 19:52Speaker 2: like kids. They have jam hands. Like, jam hands are real. No,
- 19:57Speaker 2: so Heather also likes peanut butter, but I can't have
- 19:59Speaker 2: peanut butter because I'm not allergic to it. It just
- 20:01Speaker 2: bloats me.
- 20:02Speaker 3: Yeah. I like peanut butter, but.
- 20:05Speaker 2: Can you do all the butters? Almond butter, sunflower butter, whatever.
- 20:08Speaker 2: Sun butter.
- 20:09Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 20:09Speaker 2: I can't do any of that.
- 20:10Speaker 3: Some butter I don't like, but I can.
- 20:12Speaker 2: Do you guys cook with ghee? No.
- 20:14Speaker 3: No.
- 20:15Speaker 2: What is that?
- 20:16Speaker 4: That's unclarified butter. So they take the cream out of it.
- 20:19Speaker 4: And so it doesn't burn. So I do it every
- 20:22Speaker 4: morning with my eggs for my kid. Hmm.
- 20:25Speaker 2: Yeah. Doesn't burn. Like, I'm so tired. Are you tired?
- 20:32Speaker 2: I just realized I was like, if I do this
- 20:34Speaker 2: show much longer, I'm going to fall asleep. Have you
- 20:44Speaker 2: ever been sitting there and you're just like, my eyes
- 20:47Speaker 2: are closed.
- 20:48Speaker 1: Every single day I go, okay, we got to go.
- 20:52Speaker 2: My eyes are closing. Not that we're boring. We're not.
- 20:56Speaker 2: We're fun. You know what it is? I'm so tired.
- 20:58Speaker 2: You know what it is?
- 21:00Speaker 3: You finally could relax in this moment.
- 21:02Speaker 2: True. I'm like, ah.
- 21:04Speaker 3: You can finally relax so your body is going.
- 21:07Speaker 2: We've got like a few things to solve. today, which
- 21:11Speaker 2: I'm hoping after this show, we can check our emails
- 21:13Speaker 2: and they've been solved.
- 21:14Speaker 1: I agree.
- 21:17Speaker 2: Great stuff. I mean, I got a lot more to
- 21:19Speaker 2: talk about. There's a lot of things coming. I want
- 21:21Speaker 2: to watch. There's a lot. A lot. Is that Josh
- 21:25Speaker 2: Hartnett TV show on with the like mystery beast? Not yet.
- 21:30Speaker 4: But I did watch The Whisper Man, which was really good.
- 21:33Speaker 4: And your Michael Keaton was in it, Amy. And he
- 21:35Speaker 4: plays a role where I.
- 21:37Speaker 2: Was like, wow.
- 21:37Speaker 3: Have I told that story? I've told you guys this story.
- 21:40Speaker 2: Everywhere.
- 21:41Speaker 1: Everywhere.
- 21:41Speaker 2: He's that. Yeah. Robert De Niro, Adam Scott. He's in
- 21:43Speaker 2: The Whisper Man. So good. So good. Really? But it's creepy.
- 21:48Speaker 2: But it's creepy. I don't mind creepy. Like serial killer creepy.
- 21:51Speaker 2: How much longer till Below? That's the one with Josh Hartnett.
- 21:54Speaker 2: I feel like it's on. Oh my gosh. October. Well.
- 22:00Speaker 2: Good luck to Cal. We've got the big football game,
- 22:02Speaker 2: which I know I've been mentioning, Cal UCLA. A lot
- 22:06Speaker 2: of stuff happening. A lot of stuff. What is on
- 22:09Speaker 2: tap for you guys this weekend before we go? Disneyland.
- 22:17Speaker 4: I went to Legoland last week and that's why I
- 22:20Speaker 4: have nothing this week.
- 22:21Speaker 2: You're going to Disneyland with both kids?
- 22:24Speaker 3: With both children.
- 22:26Speaker 2: I know you're going to say no to this. I
- 22:27Speaker 2: am going to ask.
- 22:28Speaker 3: I do not have $ 5, 000 for a guide.
- 22:32Speaker 2: I don't, look, I'm a gatekeeper a little bit on this.
- 22:34Speaker 2: I'm a gatekeeper. So normally I wouldn't even say it,
- 22:37Speaker 2: but like, I, with the VIP guide. I, look, I
- 22:43Speaker 2: love the VIP guide so much.
- 22:44Speaker 3: If I had the cash to blow, I would do
- 22:45Speaker 3: it too. I just, I can't.
- 22:47Speaker 2: Our friend, our friend married a VIP guide. I can't
- 22:51Speaker 2: think of anything more iconic. She literally married a real,
- 22:55Speaker 2: alive Prince Charming. He's just like, Let me show you
- 22:57Speaker 2: everything about Disneyland. Do you have an annual pass, Danielle?
- 23:01Speaker 3: I do not, no. Easton does.
- 23:04Speaker 2: Easton has an annual pass.
- 23:05Speaker 3: He does.
- 23:06Speaker 2: Are you going to go to Din Tai Fung?
- 23:09Speaker 3: Probably not.
- 23:10Speaker 2: I can tell you exactly what to get at Din
- 23:11Speaker 2: Tai Fung. I love it.
- 23:13Speaker 3: We love Din Tai Fung.
- 23:14Speaker 1: Amy and I went there not so long ago and
- 23:16Speaker 1: we were obsessed.
- 23:17Speaker 3: We ate so much.
- 23:18Speaker 1: I ordered so much food, but somehow it was Ian.
- 23:21Speaker 2: Did you get the chocolate? We literally had like a
- 23:22Speaker 2: tiny thing of rice left over. Okay.
- 23:24Speaker 1: Okay.
- 23:25Speaker 2: Of course we got the chocolate things. I think I
- 23:27Speaker 2: ate three. Like it was just insane. I just didn't care.
- 23:30Speaker 2: I hadn't eaten all day. We'd been working so much
- 23:32Speaker 2: and we'd done like 20,000 steps just working, working, working.
- 23:35Speaker 2: We're at the convention center and then we just went
- 23:37Speaker 2: and like.
- 23:38Speaker 3: Ate so many things.
- 23:40Speaker 2: The green beans are.
- 23:42Speaker 3: I can only have a few green beans.
- 23:43Speaker 1: Potentially my favorite green beans ever.
- 23:45Speaker 2: I can't eat broccoli, but then I can have a
- 23:47Speaker 2: few green beans because otherwise they get so tooty. They
- 23:49Speaker 2: blanch it and then they fry it.
- 23:51Speaker 1: I remember I told you, I was like, these are
- 23:52Speaker 1: really good, but they're going to make you toot.
- 23:54Speaker 2: Toot. I have like a real tooting problem. So good.
- 23:57Speaker 2: So good.
- 23:59Speaker 3: Oh, you guys.
- 24:00Speaker 2: Great times. Great times. I'm going to go get, so
- 24:02Speaker 2: this is what I'm, just to keep everyone, you know, real.
- 24:07Speaker 2: I've been testing out sandwiches, as you guys know, all over.
- 24:11Speaker 2: And I'm usually disappointed. I'm usually disappointed. I think I
- 24:14Speaker 2: told you one of my sandwiches was way too wet.
- 24:16Speaker 2: Here's where you get the perfect sandwich if you live
- 24:18Speaker 2: in the Bay Area. A Sweet Affair. It's a wonderful
- 24:22Speaker 2: bakery out in Walnut Creek. This is my sandwich. And
- 24:28Speaker 2: here's the funny part. I don't know if the bread
- 24:30Speaker 2: I like is the nine grain or the whole wheat,
- 24:33Speaker 2: multigrain or whole wheat. So I have to order both.
- 24:37Speaker 2: I get one whole wheat and one multigrain. And I
- 24:39Speaker 2: don't know which is which. So like, I don't know.
- 24:42Speaker 3: I feel like, I feel like we can solve this problem.
- 24:46Speaker 2: We'd have to like test it while we're there. I don't, anyway, ham,
- 24:49Speaker 2: this is all I get. Ham, mayonnaise, lettuce. That's it?
- 24:53Speaker 2: I just ate my first half. 10 out of 10. Ruffles, chips, ham, lettuce, mayonnaise.
- 25:00Speaker 2: Do you put the chip in the sandwich? I do not.
- 25:04Speaker 2: I would like a pickle. They don't have, I don't
- 25:06Speaker 2: serve it with a pickle, but maybe I can get
- 25:08Speaker 2: from the store some pickles. It would be nice with
- 25:12Speaker 2: just one dill pickle, you know, like a spear.
- 25:15Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 25:15Speaker 2: Like a pickle spear. And then I have my lemon
- 25:18Speaker 2: water and five chocolate chips.
- 25:21Speaker 3: You're living.
- 25:29Speaker 2: It hurts to laugh because I think I was like
- 25:30Speaker 2: in a weird position today. So I stretched out my abs.
- 25:34Speaker 2: Didn't I ever tell you I got, one time I
- 25:37Speaker 2: got deposed. Do you know what that means?
- 25:39Speaker 1: Yes. Yes.
- 25:40Speaker 2: And I was so stressed. It was like a Zoom deposal.
- 25:44Speaker 2: I don't know if that's the way everybody say it.
- 25:46Speaker 2: And so I leaned, I was like this leaning forward
- 25:49Speaker 2: for one hour answering their questions. My stomach, it was
- 25:52Speaker 2: like I'd done one.
- 25:53Speaker 1: Because you were just holding your stomach in for an hour.
- 25:56Speaker 2: So the next day I was like, oh my God, what?
- 25:59Speaker 2: I think I had to like put the heating pad
- 26:01Speaker 2: and take Advil. I was like, I don't have strong abs.
- 26:04Speaker 2: I'm not gonna lie. I'm working on it. So, yeah.
- 26:07Speaker 3: Well, you got your answer.
- 26:09Speaker 1: Just sit like that for once a day. What?
- 26:15Speaker 2: We got what we wanted. You know how I just said?
- 26:17Speaker 3: Did it just come through?
- 26:22Speaker 2: Wow.
- 26:24Speaker 4: All right.
- 26:24Speaker 1: Well, hold on. All right, guys. We got stuff to do.
- 26:30Speaker 2: Bye-bye. And that's the news, except that's not what show
- 26:33Speaker 2: this is. Listen if you want to.
- 26:35Speaker 3: Listen if you want to.
- 26:36Speaker 1: Yay.
