Jesus' Main Cast (Luke 5:1-11)
In Luke 5:1–11, Jesus meets Simon Peter in the middle of an ordinary workday and calls him to radical obedience. A miraculous catch of fish exposes Peter’s sin, magnifies Jesus’ grace, and leads to a life-changing call to follow Christ.
This sermon explores obedience when Jesus doesn’t make sense, grace that comes before repentance, and what it truly means to leave everything and follow him.
